Exploring 2 Peaceful Suites w/Private pool - 5 min from Ubud left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of 2 Peaceful Suites w/Private pool - 5 min from Ubud was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for 2 Peaceful Suites w/Private pool - 5 min from Ubud painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Dewa is a super nice host, always in a good mood, friendly and very helpful. However, the accommodation does not correspond to the impressions you get from the pics. We have thought that the living room has a view of the rice fields. But: The living area is located downstairs towards the jungle. The rooms are very dark and gloomy. Furniture is run down, partly broken and the fabrics are stained. One does not dare to sit on the chairs without a cloth. There is no dining table and the kitchen is located outside in the garden - which is pretty, but impractical if you want to get something in the evening in the dark. The whole location is run-down. The rooms are not cleaned every day, which is a problem for Bali, as the many animals, especially ant trails always cause dirt. The huge room in the upper part of the house is a former yoga hall, very dirty and unfortunately not useable. Fazit: Nice location, nice manager, but dark rooms and run-down furniture causes disappointment upon arrival.

The house is not accessible by car and it is a 20 min walk in the wild nature to get to the main road. No taxi can approach the area. It is a house with nice decoration and a polite host.

Good place to stay if wanted out of main area only, because place needs to be abit cleaner, roof was crumbling into the bedroom, the toilet smelt like smoke.

Dewa was a great and responsive host and we had a lovely stay in Ubud. The villa is 15mins away from Ubud City on foot but you can't reach it by car. They pick you up at the check in with motorbikes. It is very peaceful in the neighbourhood and some cafes/restaurants or massage places are also very close to the villa. We liked the location a lot! The pool was also nice but a bit cold for us. What could be better is the Wifi which was so slow in the rooms and also that people who work for the villa just randomly walked in before informing us. However, after I told Dewa, they changed this behaviour.

The villa is located about 10 min away from the Ubud center and is in a very quiet location surrounded by the rice fields. Dewa picked us up at the central parking by scooters and drove to the villa. We rented the scooter from him later for our stay as well as, if you are not planning to have one the road to the villa is not the easiest one..but still ok if you like to have some hike:) The villa is big and spacious, the two bedrooms are identical and opposite to each other. There is a kitchen outside but is not inviting to be used to be honest, and there is no any tea/coffee stored at the premise, only water dispenser. Also, a heads up there is a construction of a neighbor villa down the pool side, it didn’t bother us as seems nobody worked there at the time but in future the villa will not be as private I guess, unless the owner would plant some trees around the pool to keep it more private.

The villa is very in a beautiful outside location from ubud. We felt it was a great experience staying there. We rented scooters so that we did not have to walk all the time. We did not make use of the big upstairs “ living room” . This place was not made welcomed and cleaned at all . I also was confused why the kitchen area is away from the house. The kitchen also was not cleaned very well from the previous people staying there. I think the villa is great and being there was a nice experience but it needs some improvement considering the price.

Beautifully located away from the busy Ubud traffic and surrounded by rice fields. Dewa is a fantastic host: quick to reply to messages, always helpful and will always greet you with a big smile on his face! We loved the peace and quite of the place, and overall enjoyed our stay here. Recently there seems to have been some clearing of trees around the pool area to make space for additional construction on the adjacent plot. Not a big problem but less privacy and it would be good to update the photos to reflect this. Couple of points to note future guests: 15min walk (Dewa will help with luggage) to nearest taxi pick-up point, it can get very humid in the bedrooms (especially without the AC on), breakfast is a 5min walk and not served in the villa itself.

With the only rice field view in Ubud, and the kind&friendly landlord, everything is very convenient. So nice!

La Villa Kajenga a dépassé toutes nos attentes! L'emplacement est idyllique: la poésie et le calme de la rizière, les cafés et restos bucoliques (le Sweet Orange Warung où sont offerts les petits-déjeuners propose une cuisine et une ambiance délicieuse). Un monde à part à 10 minutes à pied du coeur battant d'Ubud! Le jardin, la piscine divine, la jungle, le ruisseau en contrebas, les oiseaux, les palmiers, les écureuils, les papillons, les lucioles... un rêve! Nous aurions pu passer une vie plongés dans la contemplation. Les chambres immenses, luxueuses, les lits gigantesques et confortables, les salles de bains parfaites, tout est impeccable et ça sent bon! Le salon frais face à la jungle, la cuisine bien équipée (et du café délicieux!), les distributeurs d'eau judicieusement placés. Tout est pensé, soigné. On ne peut que profiter de chaque seconde. Et puis il y a Dewa, sa chaleur communicative, son équipe adorable et discrète, ses bons plans... 😍 Foncez, foncez!

Staying at this rainforest villa felt like stepping into a hidden paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by lush greenery, the sounds of nature, and an incredible sense of peace that’s hard to find anywhere else. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, spacious, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly in harmony with the surrounding environment. The bathroom was nothing short of breathtaking. Showering there felt like being fully immersed in nature, with the sights and sounds of the rainforest all around. It was a completely unique and unforgettable experience. The infinity pool was simply stunning. Overlooking an endless stretch of rainforest canopy, it offered views that felt almost surreal. What truly elevated the stay, though, was Dewa and his family. They were so friendly and accomodating. I’d bring my family back in a heart beat.

Our family had an amazing stay at Mr. Dewa’s place. The villa perfectly blends traditional charm with a sophisticated, luxurious feel. The private pool is incredibly spacious and was perfect for our family to enjoy in total privacy. ​What impressed us most was the impeccable maintenance. Despite the humid surroundings near the rice fields, every room had a dehumidifier, keeping everything fresh and comfortable. The beds were also large and very soft, ensuring a perfect night's rest. ​A huge thank you to Mr. Dewa for his exceptional help and hospitality. He made our trip truly special. The villa was beautiful, spacious and private in a great area easily walkable within 5 minutes of restaurants, cafes, spas and shops, and 20 minutes from the area hub at Ubud Palace. Our host, Dewa, and his team were tremendously welcoming and helpful. Always responsive, they supported us to schedule activities and with advice about the area. They always greeted us with genuine smiles and showed us great kindness, bringing us fresh coconuts and fruits when sick and supplying rain coats when the weather was showering. Strongly recommend visiting this villa! Beware - Dewa will crush you at Scrabble and UNO!

Dewa and his team are truly wonderful hosts — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made our stay feel absolutely perfect. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully designed and very spacious, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout the house. The only area that could use some improvement is the open “yoga space”: the cushions and mats are quite worn and could benefit from being refreshed or replaced. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

My friends and I had a wonderful experience at Dewa's villa. Dewa was incredibly hospitable, and his positive energy influenced everyone traveling with me. The villa is perfect for staying in the room to meditate and embrace the tranquility of nature. The breakfast was especially delicious, and the surroundings were exceptionally beautiful. We are very grateful for Dewa's suggestions and help during our trip. We had an unforgettable time in Ubud.

We visited a lot of destinations but we have never felt so welcomed as we felt in Villa Kajenga. Dewa is the best host and his care is extraordinary. Whatever you Wish for he will provide you almost imediately. Dewa will tell you useful information about Bali and will take care of anything, for example taxi or a massage from a healer. The villa is comfortable, clean and luxury. I will miss the morning views from the terrace of the nearby trees and palms. Not even in the most luxury hotel we havent had a more comfortable bed like we had in villa. We are certain that we will never get better care, Dewa is an angel on earth who will make your holiday unforgettable.

This was probably the best AirBnB Villa we ever stayed at and it was just amazing. This place is so nice and we enjoyed it so much. Dewa is more than a host - he cared like a friend and helped us any time we needed something. The private yoga shall was just the best thing that could happen to us as we practiced yoga overlooking the rice fields every morning. This was our oasis and peace of heaven within the business of Ubud. I so highly recommend this place. We just loved it so much. Thank you Dewa - we will come back.

The most stunning villa in the most beautiful surroundings, incredibly private, quiet and peaceful but yet still central and easy to walk everywhere. The host Dewa was wonderful - so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and he is just generally a beautiful kind soul also with a great sense of humour 🙂 Can’t recommend highly enough!

Villa Kajenga is so gorgeous - and Dewa and his team are such wonderful warm helpful hosts. The Villa is incredibly luxurious, stylish, comfortable, I absolutely loved the soft decorative lighting - the pool is divine, and you want to hang out in the beautiful bedrooms to feel luxe. I loved the whole experience. On the last day we lost several important objects and Dewa and their driver went out of their way to return to where we had left things to pick them up on the way to the airport. They were incredible. Go there - you'll love it.

This is our first trip to Bali， Dewa and his family members gave us a warm welcome, very responsive and welcoming with a big smile and good energy. We also enjoyed chatting with them and learning the culture of Balinese, a very fresh experience. I feel like this is the spirit of Airbnb. Also, the villa is extremely spacious with everything you need, a pool surrounded by nature, two clean and spacious separate rooms, and a large guest room with the beautiful scenery of the rice field, they also offer free delicious breakfast every morning in a nearby restaurant. Don’t hesitate. We absolutely LOVED our stay at Villa Kajenga hosted by Dewa and his team. Such a beautiful space with everything you need. Lovely location walking distance to town amongst the rice fields. Dewa was so kind to provide a table for me to get some work done during our stay as well as coconuts and plenty of good local tips and advice. We felt very safe and at home here. Our stay at the villa in Ubud was wonderful! The Villa and location are visually beautiful. It’s super clean and feels very lush. At checkin we were met by the staff and they took us to the villa on scooters with our bags as cars can’t get to the sweet orange path. It’s a small walk (5-10mins) to get to the main strip from the villa and it’s quite a peaceful walk. The breakfast at sweet orange Warung was also so delicious. The Villa was clean and also very large! Great for two couples, it even had a small kitchen. Overall would definitely recommend!

Was a wonderful experience, Mr Dewa communicated extremely well! And the double deck house, including extra space for yoga and massage place 2 in 1 - is a dream! It’s a rice field villa miracle, so expect that you gonna be secluded from the crowd, better have some snacks and bintang handy at the fridge for your convenience. Would definitely recommend the experience!

Dewa is an incredible host! He organised our transfer to Ubud and greeted us in the nearby carpark with scooters to take us & our bags to the property, which is in a rice field (not accessible by car). The place was beautifully unique and well equipped for a short stay. We loved the pool and the entire setting and views.

Don’t hesitate! Dewa’s place is a little oasis of calm, just outside the craziness of Ubud. A short walk across the rice paddies path puts you in this beautifully peaceful spot. The rooms are enormous, huge comfortable beds with excellent air conditioning and great bathrooms. Surprisingly considering the location, there were no bug/creature friends inside the accommodation at all (or in the shower area).The fireflies at night are a highlight and sitting up in the big space (used to be a yoga studio) with the view across the rice fields is so good for the soul - or stretching out there in the day on the yoga mats.Pool is lovely and kitchen well stocked but we only used fridge and glasses. Breakfast was included at Sweet Orange Warung -it was the best we’ve had in Indonesia - delicious, colourful and ample. Shops, restaurants, markets and sights are nearby, short walk or grab motorbike. Dewa is friendly, communicated well and even provided flowers for our anniversary. Highly recommend 🤩

Het is een prachtige accommodatie op een hele mooie rustige plek met een jungle pool. Lopen naar de drukke hoofdstraat van Ubud is 15 minuten. Ontbijt bij Sweet Orange is erg goed en een hele toffe locatie tussen de rijstenvelden dichtbij de accommodatie. Wij hebben genoten! Bedankt Dewa voor alles!

We had the best time. The villa exceeded all our expectations, we were blown away by how beautiful and spacious it was. We loved watched fireflies over the rice fields from the meditation/yoga shala. And Dewa was the best host I’ve ever had. He was so friendly, even bought my friend birthday flowers. Our time was so special and magical. Thank you for being so amazing.

The Dewa’s place was amazing. It was in very peaceful, quiet rice fields with traditional farming style. We enjoyed short walks to the restaurant to have breakfast and relax at villa with pool. Surprisingly there are multiple places for meals nearby. If you don’t mind to take motor bike, you can go shopping very easily. Hope we can come back again.

Absolutely stunning stay, perfect for big relaxation vibes, was the perfect way to bring in my 30's, right in the rice fields with fireflys and a beautiful veiw. Schöner kann man nicht wohnen und einen netteren und hilfsbereiteren Gastgeber kann man sich nicht wünschen. Schon mit der Buchung hat sich Dewa gemeldet und Unterstützung angeboten (Fahrer ab Flughafen, Transport der Koffer in die Unterkunft). Alles hat super geklappt. Das Haus ist ein privater und ruhiger Traum inmitten der Reisfelder Ubuds und in 15 Minuten ist man zu Fuß im quirligen Zentrum Ubuds. Das Haus ist mindestens so schön wie auf den Bildern - der Pool ein Traum! Gleich ein paar Schritte raus kann man lecker frühstücken, essen oder einfach was trinken. Im Haus gibt es Trinkwasser. Auch während unserem Aufenthalt waren Dewa und seine Leute immer für uns da. Es. War. Mehr. Als. Perfekt. DANKE 🙏🏻

숙소 진짜 최고!!! 일단 호스트 Dewa님 후기에서 모든 사람들이 말한대로 최고였어요! 응답도 빠르고 요구사항 있으면 바로바로 해결해주셔서 너무 감사했습니다. 체크인 할 때 오토바이 타고 데리러 와주시는데 어떤상황이 생길지 몰라서 Dewa 통해서 공항으로 택시픽업 신청했어요. 따로 주소 입력할 필요없이 아주 간편하게 왔습니다! 기사님과 Dewa가 계속 소통해서 따로 연락없이 저희를 데리러 나오셨어요. 숙소 진짜 사진과 똑같이 너무 예쁘고 아름다웠어요. 가족들 모두 대만족했습니다. 일단 거실에 앉아서 숲을 보는것만으로도 행복해서 거실에서 시간 많이 보냈구요 화장실과 샤워실 모두 인테리어도 아름다웠어요 모든 시설을 저희만 쓰니까 프라이빗해서 가족들이 좋아했습니다 심지어 우붓 시내까지 도보로 이동 가능한게 최고!! 조금 좁은길이긴 했지만 부모님과 갔는데 전혀 위험하진않았고 여유롭게 둘러보면서 가면 왕궁까지 15분정도 걸립니다. 길도 너무 예뻐요 이틀동안 행복한 시간 보내고왔습니다! 가족들 이름 물어봐주시고 한국어로 인사해주신 Dewa님과 무거운 짐 옮겨주시느라 힘드실텐데 행복한 얼굴로 저희 가족을 반겨주신 직원분들 너무 감사했습니다 다음에 꼭 다시 방문할게요 Terimakasih banyak🙏🏻

La casa è stupenda e la location bellissima, nel mezzo dell’unica risaia nel centro di Ubud. L’unico dettaglio è che la casa non è raggiungibile in macchina, ma solamente a piedi o in motorino e di notte il percorso è un po’ buio. L’host è stato gentile e disponibile.

What was not to love about this gorgeous villa, surrounded by peaceful rice paddies, walking distance from vibrating Ubud? Nothing, we loved it all! Dewa and his team welcomed us warmly. They were caring and helpful. Dewa’s fun and warm personality helped us and our kids relax after a long journey, his recommendations helped us find our way. The villa itself is a beautiful place inside and outside, from where to discover the paddies, city and Balinese culture. A dip in the pool is a welcome refreshment after any activity. The tall trees bring shadow and the sound of the river and birds help to easy the mind. Thank you Dewa and the team members for this unique experience.

Dewa was an amazing host and the house is so quirky and beautiful! He helped us get medication for my husband, helped entertain our children and was a great host. The location of the house is perfect - in the quieter areas of ubud but with close access to the town!

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful nights at Dewa’s place and absolutely loved it. The home is set back on the Magical Rice Field walk about 0.5 mile from the city center. And magical is correct, the water glistens off the rice fields with little ducks and birds throughout. The house is very private, set back from the trial. From sunrise to sunset others would walk by taking photos of the beautiful home we were lucky enough to enjoy. The bathroom space was like a private spa. Dewa was great and helped us with anything we needed. We really liked the included breakfast at the Sweet Orange Warung on the trail as well. The entire experience was so special.

Начну с простых слов: всё было просто СУПЕР. Dewa очень доброжелательный и общительный хозяин. Завоевал сердца нас и наших детей с первой минуты. Отдельное спасибо Coco за уроки музыки для нашей дочки. :) Отдыхали семьёй 7 дней (2 взрослых и 2 детей). Настоящая экзотика в сердце Убуда. Птицы поют, белки прыгают, ящерицы бегают; вечером можно увидеть светлячков. Вилла находится в 10 минутах ходьбы от центральной улицы. На машине не подъехать, поэтому с этим нужно считаться. По приезду Dewa с друзьями встретил на мопедах и довёз все вещи и нас тоже :). Выдаются ваучеры на завтрак в двух близлежащих варунгах. Просто, но вкусно. Вилла полностью соответствует описанию и фотографиям. Есть кухня, но мы на ней не готовили, есть рядом много заведений, где вкусно готовят. Рекомендуем.

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in Ubud, was insbesondere auch Dewa und der Unterkunft zu verdanken war. Durch Dewa haben wir uns von Anfang richtig wohl gefühlt und konnten unsere Flitterwochen in vollen Zügen genießen. Uns hat es an nicht gefehlt und wenn wir irgendwelche Fragen hatten, war Dewa sofort für uns da. Die Unterkunft war ein absoluter Traum. Wir würden sie sofort jedem empfehlen!

Dewa’s place was AMAZING! We went for our honeymoon and was not disappointed. Situated in one of the last remaining Rice Fields in the city, this Air BnB was beautiful, private, quiet with great amenities. Dewa was super attentive, always able to give recommendations whether that’s watching the fireflies at dusk or which show in Ubud is the best. Dewa even gave us vouchers for a free breakfast which was included! Amazing place, would definitely recommend if you want to be out the hustle and bustle but still walking distance of the main streets of Ubud.

Dewa is a great host and the villa is spectacular. It was the perfect place to spend the Day of Silence in Bali, which is their new year when no can be on the street. I just wish I had more time to chat with Dewa—I feel like I could have learned things. It is Bali, after all.

Dewa is such a nice and friendly person made our stay one of the best! Location is not far from the centre but inside a peaceful location with nice rice field views. Only thing you need to know is place is inside the ricefields so if you can ride scooter to get around would be much better!but still everything is on walking distance. This house is inside pure nature so you will meet insects and bugs just to be aware of that! Dewa suggested us local shows,places to visit and nice restaurants and we loved all. Dewa is a wonderful host- answering our many questions upfront, helping us with any request during our stay and even offered help when my son felt unwell. We absolutely loved this place- it is a rare oasis in the crazy town that is Ubud- but everything is in walking distance. Airbnb in perfection!

This place is a little corner of heaven and only 10 mins of a peaceful walk between rice terraces to the main area of Ubud! The location is absolutely incredible, the view is as well... the bathroom is straight out of Pinterest haha and so is the pool! The rooms have AC and the stay was very comfortable - the place is also very private, so it's really easy to forget you're 10mins away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud and just feel like you've traveled to some kind of retreat in the jungle. Dewa is the absolutely the best host, he welcomed us at Central Parking with the largest smile, he helped us rent scooters and private driver and even carried our luggage to our next location. We had an amazing stay at Dewa's villa! The location couldn't have been better, peaceful and private, yet a short walk to the hustle and bustle of the main street in Ubud. We loved the view of the trees and pool from both the bedrooms and the open air living room. The layout of the villa, the tall ceilings and the minimalist furnishings were perfect! The outside showers with the floor to ceiling glass was gorgeous, and the bathtub was so comfortable!! Dewa is such a kind, thoughtful and generous soul. We feel very lucky to have a few days here, and truly hope we can return and stay longer!

It’s hard to think how this property can be made any better but Dewa’s sunny disposition and happiness to help made this trip wonderful and very relaxing. The villa is set upon beautiful gardens and was very secluded from the outside world. The pool has a stunning view of the jungle and all its wildlife (squirrels, birds). The bedrooms were very comfortable and luxurious with a lovely outdoor shower. The breakfast was at a peaceful local cafe in the rice fields which was fantastic also. We hope to return sometime soon. Dewa's villa in the rice fields of Ubud was amazing! You are minutes away from the hustle and bustle of town and before you know it in your own private villa just a short ride/walk away. The villa is hidden next between rice fields and tucked into a beautiful lush valley behind them. It is very spacious and clean with a beautiful infinity pool and indoor/outdoor shower inside. Both villas are separated with an outside living area that is open air but the rooms are air conditioned, which was lovely after a long day. There is a full kitchen that is outdoors and the landscaping is unbelievable! Dewa and his team live close by and can accommodate any want and need such as ride's to and from, scooters (which I reccomend), tours, massages, private dinners and breakfast is included just a short walk away. If privacy is your goal this is the place for you, perfect place to disconnect and reset. Thank you for everything Dewa you made our Ubud honeymoon one we will never forget.

Dewa & his staff were so helpful & friendly. They made our stay even more special. The Villa is set in a perfect location between some rice paddies & a ravine. It’s peaceful & absolutely gorgeous to sit by, or be in the pool, & look at the lushness surrounding you while listening to the birds sing, the butterflies flit by & watch the squirrels scurry from tree to tree. It’s just a mere 15min walk to the heart of Ubud & you’ll pass by the Juwuk Manis Spa which my husband & I highly recommend you make an appointment for a massage or two.

This was our best Airbnb stay in Ubud. Dewa is a gracious host. If you need anything you can just ask. Our holiday was made easy with the help of Dewa. From helping us organise transport from Canggu to the villa to showing us around the villa and how everything works upon arrival was very kind of him. We especially loved the big outdoor space overlooking the beautifully maintained garden and the rice paddy fields where we could do yoga and we loved the pool. We have been two days in paradise - the best Air bnb We ever have tried and don’t ever hesitate to book this vila. Dewa is the best man and gave us the best service from start to end. As others have mentioned here, it’s a gorgeous place and truly looks like the photos. The rooms are well kept, modern and beautiful. Wifi is strong, Dewa’s communication is good, and we loved breakfast at Sweet Orange Warung (2 mins walk away, yummy breakfast and lots of friendly cats!). It’s super quiet and we’ve had a glorious stay here. Dewa the property manager was a lovely host and always very responsive. On the first night we arrived late (about 8:45pm) and he helpfully helped us book a restaurant in Ubud so we could have dinner before we checked into the villa. He even came to get our suitcases from our dinner venue, and again to pick us up when we finished dinner. We knew when we booked that the villa wasn’t accessible by cars (it’s in the middle of rice fields), but we found it hard to understand the distance when we booked - so we paid close attention when we got there so we could let other travellers know. The villa is approx 600m (7 mins walk, or 10-12 mins if you’re with kids or elderly people) from the point that is accessible to cars. The pavement is littered with holes and has fairly steep parts - it’s ok for fit people (and we went with my very fit elderly parents who also found it ok), but if you have accessibility issues, it’s not ideal. If you’re ok with walking, the property is very central - door to door, the property is 15-20 mins walk to Ubud palace and the main Ubud shopping street. The other thing to note is that breakfast is provided at sweet orange warung which is a bonus - but breakfast doesn’t start till 8:30am. So if you get up early to explore like we did, you may miss breakfast. So do plan your itinerary accordingly! Overall amazing stay and we felt very recharged at the end!

We had a truely awesome time staying in this stunning villa. The accomodation is really unique and incredibly beautiful! The place was extremely clean and we loved the large comfy beds, all of the different areas to relax in and the amazing views. It was such a special experience to stay in the rice paddy’s and to fall asleep at night listening to all of the jungle sounds. Dewa was the most welcoming host we have experienced in our travels and we were thankful for the care and attention he put in to making our trip extra memorable. We also really loved the yummy breakfasts each morning at a local Warung 💗 We are already planning our next trip back and highly recommend this accommodation and Dewa to any travellers who want a brilliant Bali experience in beautiful Ubud xx

Where to start...? A feel-good oasis in the middle of the magical rice fields of Ubud awaits you here. Just a moment ago you were in the hustle and bustle of downtown Ubud and 3 minutes later (by scooter) you are in absolute paradise. The house is very spacious, with a chill and yoga area upstairs, and the bedrooms as well as the pool, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and another open living space in the basement. Upstairs you have a fantastic view of the rice fields and lots of palm trees, and down by the pool you can listen to the river that runs right past the house. It is very clean and inviting, so you hardly know where you want to be. The house is furnished with a lot of love. Every day you notice new beautiful details. There is a lot of heart in it - just like in the enchanting host dewa. A warm, humorous and helpful person, whom we have also closed in a very short time in the heart. My husband and I were in Bali for our honeymoon and dewa was very attentive with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and best wishes. In addition, the guests of dewa is offered to have breakfast in the ca 200m away and very nice Café Sweet orange. Also here an absolute recommendation on our part! This place is amazing! Pictures don’t do justice for how beautiful and unique this property is! The location in the rice terraces is a special experience in Ubud. This property is amongst our top rated and largely because of Dewa, his wife, and team. Dewa is an incredible host and person who made our time in Ubud truly memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here and would HIGHLY recommend to any and all travelers.

The villa was great! So tranquil and located right on the rice fields. There is a great cafe about 200m away where we had breakfast. Dewa was a fantastic host - so lovely. He was very helpful with our checkout on our last day in which we had a very late flight out of DPS. The villa is a short walk from town, cars cannot get up to where the villa is so you need to walk. This was no issue for us though.

We stayed in this villa to complete a quick trip to Bali and we are so so happy we did! The villa feels like something out of a fairy garden with tranquil sounds of the forest, water trickling down in the pool, fresh clean air to breathe deep and butterflies fluttering from leaf to leaf. Walking in the rice paddies was an amazing and beautiful experience and we loved getting to see how much hard work went into these. There is a strong sense of community and love and respect for the lands here. We were extremely relaxed after a busy start in Seminyak ! Dewa organised everything we needed from the moment we booked, organising the driver for us to pick us up from our Villa in Seminyak at the time we desired. Kadek was a great driver and available to book throughout the stay for a very reasonable fee. The villa itself feels like you are just in a dreamlike space and all your worries disappear when lazing by the pool or watching the wildlife in the trees. The rooms were amazing with outdoor showers and a huge bath, 2 sinks and the most comfy bed ever!! We were obsessed with these cloud like pillows which definitely helped us get some much needed R&R! The location of the villa is great as you are away from the main drag but close enough to walk down or along and into the rice paddies. Ubud has a lot of winding roads and hidden gems so I suggest following some paths to where they could potentially lead you ;) Dewa also offered moped rides if he was about or you can take a Gojek if you don't feel like walking.. but the walk is so amazing!! At night we saw froggies,fireflies and felt very safe as the people in Ubud are very sweet and kind Dewa in particular deserves a shout out as he is probably one of the kindest and warmest people we have ever encountered! To call him our host alone would be disrespectful. Even in our short time, Dewa became our friend and when you meet him you will understand why. Dewa radiates positivity and kindness always and you feel extremely safe and well taken care of. He knows a lot about Ubud and Bali and has interesting stories to tell as well! Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans la maison de Dewa, elle se situe dans un petit coin de paradis entre rizière et jungle à deux pas du centre ville d'Ubud. Dewa est un hôte très disponible et pleins de gentilles attentions. Nous avons fait le tour de Bali à 4 copines et cette maison est à l'unanimité celle que nous avons préféré. Je recommande chaudement cette endroit, pour le confort des chambres et de la literie, sa luxueuse salle de bain, pour la sublime piscine à débordement bien exposé durant la journée.

We spent three weeks in this villa and I can even express what a lovely stay it was! That was definitely one of our best stays. Villa is situated in a most tranquil yet close to everything that matters location in Ubud. Being there you are surrounded only by the nature — ricefields, river and coconut palms. No noise pollution, no excessive lights, no partying neighbours — only you and the serenity of the beautiful balinese nature. Common area is an amazing place for yoga, you can’t even imagine how good is it to start your day doing yoga surrounded by the rice fields breathing crystal clear air. Dewa is definitely the best host we ever had. He became a friend of our family being the most welcoming and warm person. We were provided with everything we need in a second and through the whole vacation we had a feeling of care coming from this great man. When I felt sick he immediately brought me to the hospital, helped to communicate with local people there and basically just was there for me all the way. I have a feeling that staying in this villa is the best thing you can do to fully understand the energy of Ubud and communication with Dewa is definitely the best way to feel Balinese people and their mindset at it’s best.

Dewa is truly a superhost, friendly, helpful and kind - best we ever came across. The villa managed by him is spacious, has a wonderful garden and is super quiet, a true tropical paradise - after sunset we could even see fireflies in the garden and hear the calming sound of the nearby river. The interior is modern and well-designed. Any small issues arising were quickly addressed. It needs to be noted that cars cannot access the villa and one needs to walk 550 m (~ 8 min) to reach the villa - Dewa and his team went out of their way to help us and even picked us up with scooters at night or when we brought goods. Overall 5 stars, and we will definitely come back if we have the chance. We had a wonderful stay!

We picked this airbnb after much consideration and comparison shopping, and even with high expectations, it blew us away. The photos in the listing really don’t do it justice.. as soon as we walked down the steps and rounded the corner to the pool area, our jaws collectively dropped. What the pictures don’t accurately capture is an approximately 80 foot deep jungle ravine behind the infinity pool. Looking down into it from the edge of the pool, you’re looking at raw nature, a flowing stream, and even the occasional spontaneous waterfall. The pool and pool area are out of a fantasy. The rooms are amazing, and colossal, and very comfortable. Perhaps more importantly than the airbnb itself was Dewa’s communication - maybe the best out of the dozens of airbnb hosts I’ve had. We were able to hire his friend Satya as a driver, who was super friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and great to communicate with. It should also be noted, the location really can’t be beat - the last few minutes are on foot, but other than that, it’s set in a super picturesque set of rice fields (and a smattering of rice field-adjacent restaurants) that are in themselves a destination. You really can’t go wrong here! If you’re on the fence about where to stay in Ubud, I really can’t underscore how much of a slam dunk this spot is.

We had an amazing stay at Dewa’s villa in Ubud. It was a perfect distance from the busy parts of Ubud - about a 10-15 minute (beautiful) walk, so it felt both close enough for anything we needed but also secluded and quiet. There was also some closer food options available as well. The breakfast included at a nearby cafe (a few minutes walk away) was great. Dewa and the rest of the staff were all very accommodating throughout our stay, checking in daily. The accommodation itself had everything we needed, and the infinity pool overlooking the jungle was incredible.

I can't say enough good things about our experience here! The host Dewa and his team went above and beyond to make our stay at this villa wonderful. We arrived at the airport after midnight, and asked prior to have a driver arranged to take us to Ubud. After arriving at the parking location around 1:30 AM, Dewa and some of his team were there to pick us up on scooters and help with the luggage back to the villa (since the last part of the walk is not accessible by car). It was very comforting to meet someone there especially since it was dark. He showed us all around the property and told us where to find breakfast in the morning. The villa itself is beautiful, just as in the pictures, if not better. It is about a 10 minute walk to downtown Ubud, away from the noise and surrounded by beautiful rice paddies, palm trees, and tropical foliage. Dewa checked in with me several times via WhatsApp to make sure we had everything we need. I truly can't recommend this place enough!

What a beautiful place this is and what a great host. My sister and I enjoyed every minute of it.. the villa is very spacious, in perfect condition and spotless. The bedrooms were huge and the bathroom beautiful with a outdoor shower.. you’ll love it!! And the pool just priceless. And dewa our host made our stay unforgettable, what a nice and kind person, always a smile on his face and always made us laugh. He helped us with whatever we needed and more !! Dewa's places is BEAUTIFUL and if you're staying in Bali, especially in Ubud, you MUST stay here. It is very close to the town center but still tucked away and feels like you're in another world. Gorgeous views, beautiful private pool, yummy breakfast included, very close to the famous Sweet Orange Warung (must go), Dewa's place was perfect for our 3 day visit. Dewa also took the time to show us around the whole villa and explain everything and even give us local tips. He helped us with our luggage up the path as well. Thank you for everything Dewa!

Ubud 시내와 멀지않은 곳에 위치한 논밭의 한적한 피난처입니다:) 잘 갖춰진 호텔과 리조트보다는 조용하고 한적한 시골 정취를 느끼고 싶을때 추천드리는 장소입니다. 우붓센터에서 걸어서 15분 가량이면 도착하는데 가는길 중간까지 밖에 차가 들어갈 수 없습니다. 호스트인 Dewa가 알려준 숙소 400미터 정도 남은 지점에서 짐을 들고 기다리면 Dewa와 동료들이 오토바이를 여러대 몰고 데리러 와줍니다. 큰 캐리어들이 있어도 오토바이에 담아서 문제없이 이동시켜 주니 걱정하실 필요 없습니다. 도착하게 되면 깜장얼룩고양이랑 노란줄무니 고양이가 반겨주는데 심각한 개냥이들이면서도 프라이버시는 확실해서 거리두고 인사만 해주다가 손님이 다가가면 그때서야 사람한테 앵깁니다. 고양이 안좋아하시면 그냥 인사만 하고 지나가면 적당한 거리를 유지한채로 살 수 있습니다ㅎㅎ 숙소는 몇개의 파트로 구성되어있다는 느낌입니다. 침실과 메인 욕조와 화장실, 샤워시설은 하나의 방으로 붙어있고요, 이러한 방이 두채로 건물 1층을 이루고 있어 한커플이 아닌 두커플이 함께 머물기에 좋은 방입니다.(부모님 모시고 오면 좋을 분위기), 침실과 침실 사이 공간은 큰 대청과 같은 공간과 함께 가운데방으로 창고 가 있는데 여기는 들어갈 수 없습니다. 대청을 나오면 바로 인피니티 풀이 나오고요, 물이 깨끗하게 잘 관리되어있습니다. 계단을 타고 내려가면 점점 깊어지는 형식인데 제일 깊은곳은 150cm가량 정도 되는 듯합니다. 수영장을 따라서 왼쪽으로 가면 독채 하나와 함께(사용은 못함) 오픈 주방이 나옵니다. 물과 함께 웬만한 식기는 여기서 획득하실 수 있고 냉장고에 빈땅맥주와 코카콜라가 가들 들어가 있는데 각각 25k 루피아, 10 k 루피아를 내고 드실 수 있습니다ㅎㅎ. 그 옆으로 다시 높은지대로 올라가는 계단이 있고 건물 2층으로 접근하실 수 있는데 이곳이 논이 보이는 요가원 같은 느낌의 장소입니다. 제가 갔을때는 발이 쳐져있어서 제대로 사용은 못했는데 논이 다른분들이 가실때 이야기하면 사용하기 편하게 해줄 것 같아서 요가 등 명상하는데 사용하시면 좋을 것 같습니다. 조식은 주변 코티지의 Mulan이라는 작은 식당에서 진행되는데 맛과 서비스는 보통인 곳입니다. 숙소 주변에 Dicarik, Sweet orange 라는 와룽이 두군데 있는데 스위트 오렌지는 식사와 휴식장소로 추천드립니다.(스무디와 과일주스 굿) Dewa와의 커뮤니케이션은 매우 빠르고 정확하게 진행됩니다. 영어를 잘 하고 한국말도 조금씩 하려고 노력하는 모습을 보입니다. 왓츠앱을 통해서 언제든지 문자나 통화가 가능하구요. 제가 숙소에 있는 커피포트(스틸제, 내부 손가락으로 씻지 마세요)를 씻다가 손가락을 베여서 밴드를 요청 하거나 헤어드라이어가 없어서 요청을 했는데 각각 적절하게 대응해주었습니다. 몇가지 아쉬운 점은 집 지붕이 초가 같은 걸로 일부 덮여있어서 벌레나 게코가 조금씩 들어올 수 있습니다. 특히 한밤중에 게코가 울어대는 소리가 집 전체에 울려서 몇번이나 깨서 내쫓아야 했기에 이부분은 크게 마이너스가 되었습니다. 그래도 전체적으로 숙소의 청결도는 높은 편이며 전문 숙박업체는 아니어서 그런지 몇몇 개선점이 눈에 띄지만 Dewa가 성심성의껏 노력하고 있기에 점점 좋은 숙소가 되어갈 것이라 생각합니다. 추천합니다.

It’s hard to say what was more fantastic, Dewa and his hosting skills or the place itself. Both were outstanding. The house is simply beautiful, with gorgeous design, features, finishes and is impeccably clean. It clearly shows the caring and skilled hand of an architect and interior designer, from the planning of the house amongst the rice fields and tall tress, the overlooking of the infinity pool into the jungle canyon and the staging of the spaces providing wonderful places to sit and enjoy the beauty of the setting. From the infinity pool to the yoga room, the outdoor kitchen, the generously sized bedroom with ensuite and outdoor rock wall shower, and the veranda living room. Each and every space was a pleasure to enjoy. A truly stunning setting to enjoy a romantic getaway for a honeymoon or a place to share and enjoy with friends. Dewa himself was simply fantastic. He was wonderfully welcoming and made us feel at home right away. He collected and delivered our luggage to the house through the rice field paths, gave us recommendations for things to see and do and passed on some local hints and tips for experiencing the best of Ubud. He responded to any whatsapp message almost immediately and was on hand whenever we needed him. He even drove around the town to find my wife after we got split up and lost our way, then called our driver to help organize our transfer to our next destination. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe our enjoyment of this trip and our stay here with Dewa. Highly, highly recommend to anyone visiting Ubud.

My husband, sister and I had such a great time staying at this amazing villa. It’s tucked away and beautifully positioned within the rice fileds of Ubud. A bit of a walk to get to/from, but certainly worth it. The villa was stylish with modern touches and made for a really comfortable stay. And the pool was incredible! Dewa is one of the best Airbnb hosts I’ve come across - friendly, really helpful and went above and beyond. And ALWAYS with a smile on his face. We really enjoyed getting to know him, and can’t wait to come back really Soon!

멋진 수영장, 넓은 욕실, 작은것 하나하나 신경쓴 집안 구석구석 모두 이뻤다. 호스트 쿰아저씨의 친절함도 😊 우붓왕궁,스벅과 살짝 떨어져있지만 숏컷길이 있어 걸어다니기에 어려움은 전혀없었다. 그리고 논밭이 나타나는 길부터는 차가 진입하지 못하기 때문에 캐리어와 무거운 짐은 쿰이 오토바이로 옮겨준다. 예상치 못한 조식까지 제공해주어서 기분 좋았다. 어느 고급리조트 부럽지 않았다. 주변이 조용하고 해가지면 반딧불도 볼수있다!

The place is exactly as described and as it looks in the photos. A very quiet location in the rice fields and overlooking a river. We had an amazing and very relaxing time there, eating virtually every night a 2 min walk away at Sweet Orange! They are so friendly there and it’s so relaxed. It’s all set away from the hustle and bustle of the main roads of Ubud. Up in the rice fields it feels a world apart, yet it’s only a 10-15 min pleasant walk away. Above all Deva is incredibly friendly and helpful. He booked a Balinese cooking class for the kids at a place next door. They loved it. The included breakfast is at another location (a hotel) a short walk away and it’s very good. They serve it up until 11 am. The kids swam quite a bit at the villa. Beware that cars cannot access the area (which is why it’s so peaceful). This means one has to walk or motor bike up the hill. On the check in and check out days Deva will arrange for your bags (and you) to be biked up from the last car park before the rice fields. We are currently in Nusa Dua and are really missing our zen time in Ubud and our amazing host Deva! Hopefully we, or the kids, will go back there one day!

Absolutely stunning place . The little trip to the villa on the bikes was just bliss ! So relaxing and calming ! A must stay ! Short walk to all the restaurants but away from the relatively busy main streets ! Total bliss ! Amazing hosts . Would definitely recommend !

Dewa’s villa is exceptional. The surroundings are beautiful and the villa itself is gorgeous. Dewa was fully contactable during our stay and solved any queries we had very quickly. He was friendly and understanding when we asked for scooter taxis. The walk to the villa is on a small path through the rice fields, it only takes 15 minutes to get to the centre and the local restaurants for lunch and dinner were amazing. I could not recommend this villa more for a stay in Ubud.

Dewa's villa is beautiful, peaceful, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing vacation. the rooms are very clean and decorated so well! the infinity pool that looks out into the jungle was amazing. Although we only stayed for 2 nights, I will most definitely book this villa again when I come back to Ubud. Dewa is an excellent, hospitable host who really made our stay in Ubud easy and effortless. He greeted us at check-in, had quick responses whenever we had questions, and even was there to help us carry our luggage down for out 5AM checkout! I highly recommend staying here.

Wow what an amazing villa! My fiancé and I stayed with another couple and had an amazing stay. The villa is a 15 min easy walk through the rice fields of ubud. The most beautiful scenery. Dewa and his cute cats live next door and is always available if you need anything. He’s such a friendly face. The villa has 3 rooms and a kitchen. Beautiful scenery. Would recommend again!

We had such an amazing time!!!! The home was more than what i expected. It was perfect esp those who just wants binding time and peace.. good for retreat and relaxation. Distance to city is difficult especially we cant travel at night but dewa and his team made sure we got the transportation we needed...it wasnt at all a problem! Best to just stsy at the villa actualky..the home is already perfect! I will definitely go back and recommend this to all my family and friends!

We had five days at Dewa’s place and had an amazing experience. The location is beautiful and peaceful but a comfortable walk into central Ubud. There were also plenty of warungs within a couple of hundred metres of the property if we didn’t feel like walking. The three suites were ideal for us travelling as three couples with adequate privacy but plenty of communal areas. The pool was better than the photos. Dewa was exceptionally helpful in organising transport and a great source of local information. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful retreat in close proximity to all that Ubud has to offer.

Nicht nur das airbnb war sehr sehr gut sonder au Dewa ihm gehört das. Er ist ein unglaublich toller Mensch er hat und die tage in ubud einfach perfekt gemacht wie hatten unser eigenes privates taxi das und die ganze tage überall hin brachte das waren freunde von Dewa , kadek ata und sein bruder für ein supper preis unglaublich. Es sollt mer so menschen wie Dewa geben es lohn sich nur schon Ihn kennen zu lerne diese unterkunft zu buchen. Wir waren 4 Frauen im alter von 24-27 und wie fühlten uns so sicher obwohl die unterkunft abgelegen ist man muss etwa 15 minuten über ein Reisfeld laufen dan waren wir direkt in der city. Wir würden es sofort wieder machen. We enjoyed staying at Dewa’s place :) Villa is beautifully designed and you can really feel part of the nature there. Everything was as described. Please be aware that place is in the middle of the rice fields and getting there at night might be tricky for some people as it is not accessible by car, only by scooter(which is also a bit dangerous due to the very narrow road) or on foot. We enjoyed the scooter rides, but I guess this is something to have in mind when with children or elder people.

We loved the villa -- everything about it is perfect. The location is convenient (only a 15 minute walk into the hustle and bustle of Ubud), but secluded on a quiet rice paddy with only a few local warungs (which are fantastic) and yoga retreats for neighbors. The villa itself is better than the photographs, and was sparkling clean. The pool is lovely, the bed is comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. Dewa is a wonderful host -- he let us check in early, came to collect us and our bags on motorbikes (the villa is not accessible by car), and stored our bags for us the day we left, as we had a late flight. He also checked in with us on WhatsApp regularly to make sure we had everything we needed at the villa, and to answer our questions. He and his team are welcoming, warm, and very organized. We had a 10/10 experience, and hope to come back someday!

The whole family enjoyed our stay at this peaceful paradise from a to z. When we arrived we were prepared to carry our heavy luggage the last couple of hundred meters to the Villa but what a great welcome: Dewa and a friend of his were already waiting for us with 2 motorbikes. Our daughter and I could take our 1st bike ride through the beautiful rice fields and even our four big suitcases were put on the back of a motorbike. What a wonderful and comfortable way to arrive! :) Whenever we needed hints and tips, Dewa was ready and more than pleased to provide them to us. He simply is the greatest of all hosts we've ever met and with his cheerful and happy mind he made us smile & laugh a lot. The Villa with the beautiful rooms and pristine pool is unique and set in a peaceful & quiet area full of palm trees way away from the lively center of Ubud which one can easily reach by a 20' walk. When we didn't feel like walking we could ask for a fun bike ride without even having to pay for it. Our son preferred though to take a stroll along the narrow paths through the picturesque rice fields. After three nights we left totally relaxed & happy but were quite sad we couldn't stay longer. We do hope to come back & meet Dewa again soon! :)) Thank you for everything!!!

Dewa’s place is nicer than its listing on airbnb. It’s located at the last rice field in Ubud. The villa is beautiful with a private pool. The villa is a bit of a walk from Ubud centre but the walk along the rice field is enjoyable I promise. Dewa is an outstanding host, he helped with our late checkin (we spent 2 hours at the immigration and arrived to the villa at 3am!) and showed us around. He even contacted our driver to ensure he dropped us off at the right spot. Don’t hesitate in booking this place if you’re looking for a secluded place away from the crowd.

We‘ve been a lot of times in Bali but this is one of the best villas we‘ve stayed in. Idyllic ricefields on the one side and breathtaking jungleviews on the other side. The villa is very luxurious, the beds are super comfy, the pool is clean and the whole atmosphere is cozy. Dewa offers a extraordinary service to his guest and is helfpul in everything you ask him. Thanks to Dewa and his team for making our stay so nice and unforgettable.

A beautiful home to make your own during your stay in Ubud! The house is very private but your host, Dewa, is on site very close by & is super happy to help with anything you need. It’s a great place to stay if you want to feel a little away from the busyness of Ubud, but you’re still a quick scooter ride in. You can expect a sweaty 15 minute walk that is a bit hilly, but don’t let it put you off staying here. The rice fields are beautiful to stay amongst. So serene. Definitely go to the Warung next door & have the best Balinese curry you’ll ever eat! We loved it & would happily recommend.

Dewa was great, super friendly and helpful, always had a smile on. He offered to help us get groceries, given that the villa was tucked away far from any restaurants or super markets. He was always responsive and asked if we needed anything. He always checked in on us and made sure we were doing well. Amazing hospitality and beautiful, peaceful villa. Villa is a little far from most places, and is not accessible via car. If you’re planning to order a car to get to and from the villa, you have to walk about 12-15 minutes to a place where your car can come. It can get very dark at night but as long as you’re with friends and have a flash light, it’s not too much of a problem. Because it’s so tucked away, it’s very peaceful and quiet. There was some construction going on on the other side of the villa so it was a little loud in the morning but it was okay because I was mostly out touring during the day. If you need anything (ie. Toothbrush, drinks, chips etc) I recommend you get them before you go into the villa because there’s nothing around the villa itself unless you walk out 15-20 minutes. All in all, beautiful villa and amazing hospitality from Dewa! Recommended.

Gorgeous place with a superb host, local yet cosmopolitan, fun and thoughtful. The house is amazing, but best suited for people who are happy to be out of town with walk or motorcycle to get into Ubud. Part of the charm is walking back with torches, not possible to drive to it. Rooms are even more beautiful than the pictures. But there are houses in front of it, even so it’s a beautiful tranquil setting (building work happening at Neighbours but soon completed I’m guessing ). Breakfast in lovely spot a walk past the rice fields, and another lovely lunch spot also in a natural setting a short walk down the path. A haven away from super busy and crowded, happening and festive Ubud. Dewa is brilliant.

As the host, Dewa is super nice, kind hearted and also very friendly. He always tried to offer helps and accommodate all of our needs during our stay. We felt very welcome in the villa! And the villa itself is very nice, super clean, comfortable and located in a very nice ubud area (walking distances to many great cafes and restaurants). Would definitely love to stay there again or in your other villa in the future.

Where do I even begin. If available , don’t hesitate to book. If you’re looking for the ultimate place to stay in Ubud , this is it. Located within the rice fields , with the most therapeutic walk to ubud centre. The space is incredibly clean with an outdoor shower , a beautiful bathtub and the most comfortable beds. It was a dream. Not to mention , Dewa set up the most perfect proposal. I cried leaving , everything about this place was perfect.

It’s hard to find the words to define how incredible both Dewa, this space and the Experience have been. I’ve been to many Many Air BnB’s and in terms of customer service, responsiveness, kindness, and communication, Dewa shines brightly above all others. He’s there with you every step of the way with anything you need. He’s super knowledgeable, very accommodating, and over all a great personality that I’m lucky to have met! The space was equally as incredible as he was and the pictures are accurate, but don’t do it justice. Being there in the space is life changing and I recommend everyone splurge to do it. 100% will book again!

The best part about Dewa’s place is Dewa’s hospitality. From organizing our transport from the airport to arranging for local expeditions, Dewa’s service was truly unique. The villa itself was amazing and more than lived up to our expectations. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bali!

This place is absolutely magnificent. It is somewhat scary to rent a place from a website, pay, and then travel halfway around the world and hope all is good. In this case, it was more than good! Dewa is an incredible host, amazingly responsive at any hour and in any platform. His English is perfect and really understands the needs of tourists. The house is a dream come true. It is not a traditional airbnb in that it does not feel like a typical house. There is no dining area and the kitchen is hidden behind the main building. You are really not expected to cook or eat there, and that is fine. There are some restaurants within very close walk and are relatively very inexpensive. Think of the space more like 2 gorgeous, very large, very luxurious hotel suites with a lovely private pool in the most romantic setting you could imagine. On the one hand, it feels extravagant and wasteful to be there just as a couple. On the other hand, it was glorious to be there just as a couple. The setting and privacy cannot be beat. In international resort hotel price terms, this place is a bargain, though in Ubud prices, it is a real luxury and it is appointed as such. The bedding, towels, etc are all first class. There are two very important things to note before you rent: 1) it is not appropriate if you have some mobility issues. There are a number of stairs leading to the house that have no bannister and are of uneven height. 2) the house's amazing location comes at price. It is really not practical to get around just on your two feet and cars cannot get up to the house, so a motor scooter (not a motorcycle but not a bike either, think of a Vespa-like vehicle) is a must. You could hire someone to take you up and down the house in their own scooter, but it would limit your freedom somewhat. The best scenario is where you can drive the scooter yourself and Dewa will rent you a great one at a very reasonable price. Driving one is easy since they have no gears and don't weigh much. The traffic in central Ubud can be daunting, so what we did is use the scooter to get into town (about a 5-minute ride with almost no traffic), park it and then walk around. As long as you are ok with these two things, this house is simply the best vacation you will have. The house is the best of Ubud, right in the middle of the rice paddies and set on an incredible ravine with a river below and with easy access to town (via scooter). The host is amazing and his local recommendations are spot-on. The private yoga class in the home's large studio was an incredible highlight of the trip. We are looking forward to our next visit!!

My wife and I really enjoyed this place because of its unique setting. While a bit further into the rice fields than we would have imagined, it was that distance that allowed us to really feel separated from the hustle of Ubud's city center. The host was amazing. Very communicative and helpful in organizing a driver for us. The accommodations and its design were simple, clean, and tasteful.

We had the absolute best time at Dewa's place! It was located near the central area but still far enough to feel like we were in our own little sanctuary. Dewa was a great host and was very good with communicating. We also could not recommend Kedak enough, who picked us up from Seminyak and was our driver for our duration in Ubud. We can not wait to return again one day! :D

It was a nice experience to get close to the nature in this house. Dewa is very kind and helpful to us! The swimming pool is a nice spot for taking photos, so pretty! The only thing is there are ants and frogs in the room or open area, because the place is Nature close,if you mind this one it might be a little problem

Where to begin. This place is the most beautiful, idyllic, simply beautiful place I have ever seen, it literally takes your breathe away and the photos do not do it justice. The views across the trees are perfect and you are within the rice paddies and it creates this lovely atmosphere. You are close to the centre but far enough to feel relaxed and quiet. We stayed here for 5 days and we have to say that the best part about the stay is Dewa the host. Never have we met a more helpful, caring and genuine person. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING the villa is gorgeous, in a middle of ricefields but just 10 minutes walk from the main street in Ubud. The location offer the peaceful and quiet of the nature but also the dynamic and energy of the city with all the restaurants and bars very close. Dewa is so lovely, he was always here to answer our questions and did everything for us to have the best experience, and we did! You can have the breakfast every morning in a restaurant within 5 minutes walk from the villa for free, the place is very nice too. Dewa also arranged a driver for us at the local price to visit the area and gave us lots of tips. If you wish to go to Ubud, this is the place to stay! You won't be disappointed

Don’t even know where to start ! Probably by saying that Dewa has been the best host from all Airbnb’s that I have stayed! The villa it self is gorgeous amazing design and a lot of attention to small details, the designer did an amazing job 👌🏼. The villa waS super nice and clean it had amazing organic soaps that where produced locally, the swimming pool was crystal clear. The villa is located in a very quiet place in rice fields it is only 15 min walk to the main road and you can enjoy all the wild beauty of Ubud. Dewa was incredibly helpful with everything any questions or issues I had he was there for me, he is an incredibly kind person with the most beautiful and warm heart. Anytime if he was available he would even give me a lift to my morning yoga classes, also he showed me around some good fruit spots. So don’t hesitate to ask Dewa anything he is the best person in Ubud he knows everything! It has been on of the best trips of my life and Dewa has really made my stay very special, also I can say we are friends for life now 🙏🏻 Thank you for everything Dewa !

looking for something away from ubud this is the place to stay, amazing host that is more than happy to go out of his way to make your stay more enjoyable , placed in the middle of the rice fields, its so clean with an amazing pool and outdoor shower with that Balinese touch, ten minutes walk from the center of ubud and it's amazing restaurants... I would book this place again on my next trip to Bali.... it's that relaxing

We had two night stay in this amazing villa. The rooms are spacious and well designed, and have pretty much everything you will need, but the shower was definitely our favourite part of the interior. Plus Kum and the boys were extremely welcoming and nice to us, we had great conversations with Kum whom speaks perfect English, and did learn a lot about the local culture. We would love to come back again soon, because from these people, we truly felt the friendliness and hospitality of the Balinese. Amazing experience!

Wow, wow, wow. My husband and I spent three nights for our honeymoon at Dewa’s villa in Ubud. The villa is stunning and so clean! Dewa was attentive and easy to get ahold of. No issues with check in at all. Assisted us with luggage and even would arrange for an airport transfer if needed. Location was perfect. Quite but so close to the hustle and bustle of Ubud. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a little quiet but doesn’t want to miss out on excitement of the city. We loved this slice of paradise.

This villa is in a great spot for access to Ubud whilst still feeling like you are away from the hustle and bustle. The walk through the rice fields takes about 15 minutes each way and is really pretty. The path is uneven in spots so it was handy to have the villa team to help with check in and getting the bags to and from the villa. The area is nice and quiet and the views are lovey. There was some clearing of the jungle being done during our stay, this may change the outlook a little from the photos currently online although it did also look like there was some replanting planned. Breakfast is available from a hotel a few minutes walk away which was good. Dewa has a team of great people supporting the villa, the driver was particularly helpful and friendly, would recommend getting him to bring you to the villa if you can arrange this in advance.

Dewa's place was great for exploring around ubud. The place was well kept, clean, and extremely unique. The nearby rice field was awesome and the infinity pool is instagram worthy. In addition, Dewa was extremely accommodating for finding us a driver to get from seminyaak to ubud and from ubud to the airport despite it being the biggest holiday in Bali while we were there. Dewa also helped us find scooter to explore ubud and was extremely understanding when I crashed one into the rice field. I would not hesitate to stay at Dewa's place in future visits to Ubud.

Excellent villa that like everyone else has said is better than in pictures. Dewa is a great host and was very helpful with anything we needed. Staying here makes it difficult to visit Ubud because you don't want to leave the villa! :)

The accomodation is a little slice of heaven, you will feel totally relaxed :). You are unable to drive to the accomodation so does require some walking, but it’s worth it. Dewa is a fabulous host and had lots of local tips and was very helpful to help organise anything we needed. Thank you!

Amazing host and incredible villa in the middle of the rice fields in Ubud. Nothing better than to wake up with a cup of tea and to be surrounded by cute birds next to the beautiful swimming pool.

Dewa was such a great host! Communication was always easy and quick. This place is even more stunning in person! (Bathroom and Pool goals for sure!) It's in the middle of the rice paddies to get the best pool view of trees and feel like you're in nature and wonderful Bali. It's a trek to get to, but Dewa and his team make check in and check out so easy! We're definitely telling any of our friends coming to Bali to stay here and would definitely book again.

This place is a little oasis. We loved that whilst there were gorgeous outdoor spaces to relax and take in the beautiful views, the luxe bedroom suites were enclosed and therefore cool and devoid of bugs. The pool was gorgeous and perfectly positioned amidst the foliage. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and cannot recommend Dewa and this beautiful villa highly enough!

Dewa's place is absolute jewel, the pictures do not give this villa any justice. Dewa and I had frequent and regular contact prior to booking, he answered all my questions promptly which gave me great assurance. In addition he was available at all times during our visit. The villas had everything we needed and the location was superb, hidden away in some rice paddies away from the bustle of Central Ubud.

This villa is just as beautiful as the pictures! My boyfriend and I had an amazing time here. Dewa was very helpful with anything we needed and was quick to respond to us. He helped hire a driver for us (who also was great, drove us to the touristy spots, walked us directly to desired areas and talked to locals for us to make sure everything went smooth and it was completely affordable) and also suggested great places to see and places to eat. The only complaint is that it is tucked away and requires a good amount of walking (partly uphill) to get back and forth to main restaurant and streets and the last section of walking is a skinny road with a drop on both sides that I didn’t feel comfortable riding a scooter through. BUT I enjoyed the solidarity of the place regardless of the walk. Overall, I loved the villa, pool and the beautiful views. (The free breakfast was enjoyable as well!) thank you Dewa! We can’t wait to come back.

We had such an amazing time at Dewas place in Ubud. We would recommend it to everyone.

We spent four magical days in Dewa’s house! The house itself is beautiful and clean. The bedrooms are comfortable and the A/C works wonderfully! Jungle view from the pool is serene. The house is close to Ubud Center but it is just far enough away to be quiet at the house. There is a short walk or scooter ride from the street to the house through rice terraces that is beautiful. Dewa is the greatest host! He met our every need and went above and beyond. We left our passports in the safe and brought them to us that same night an hour away. We will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful and nicely secluded villa that is still easily accessible to Ubud main streets. Dewa was extremely accommodating and helpful and prompt in responding.

Dewas place were perfect. It really felt Bali "Style". Near ubud but also privacy. it felt we were middle in the jungle. Dewas was a wonderful host, couldn´t ask for better treatment. Me and my mother hade a wonderful time, And i highly recommend to book at this place,

Beautiful villa overlooking the jungle, Dewa, Judy and Tuti were amazing and very accommodating. We rented a scooter which took us within 5min from the house to all main areas. Will stay again next time!

The place is even more beautiful than the photos. Close to the center of Ubud and yet it feels very secluded. Amazing host. Very attentive to making your stay the best. I have been coming to Ubud for seven years, and this has been my absolute favorite place to stay. I highly recommend Dewa's place.

This property is wonderful! The infinity pool looks over the jungle and the rooms and living spaces are beautifully designed. Breakfast is tasty and Dewa is a wonderful host. From picking us up at the airport to dropping is back there, our stay in Bali was flawless. Would definitely recommend this property and this host to anyone!

The villa is in such a unique location, amongst the rice field , but also a short walk to cafe's and centre of Ubud. The Villa is very spacious , and bathrooms are stunning. Dewa is such a delight and his staff are just lovely to have around, and were able to provide great advise on things to do and places to visit. The pool is devine, and private and the breakfasts that are included are beautiful, either delivered each morning or a short stroll away. I would not stay anywhere else in Ubud. If you get chance to see Dewa sing in bars in Ubud make sure you go, it will be a highlight.

整个Villa设计非常美（尤其喜欢浴室），卧室很大，床和枕头也睡着舒服，每个设施都很贴心，Dewa很幽默，一切都安排的很好，这个位置离主街走路大概10-15分钟，也可以让Dewa接送往返，但我们比较喜欢自己散步，路过稻田，穿过小巷，主路口就是星巴克，和皇宫，我觉得这个Villa的性价比超高了。

Dewa was an amazing host, always made sure we had what we needed, and also a very funny guy! The place is beautiful and you get a great walk through the rice fields before getting to the villa. The outdoor shower was really cool and the place in general is just beautiful just as they look in the pictures.

We had a idyllic time in this beautiful villa! The photo doesn't show the whole beauty and energy if that place! Dewa is a perfect host! Very friendly, with bright energy and hospitality. Kajenga villa- is a perfect place for peaceful days. Beautiful fields view, meditation room on the mansard, huge clean swimming pool. The rooms are identical, so it will be no problem of choosing room for each couple:) Breakfast was perfectly served on the balcony at confirmed time. Dewa was very kind to help us with motorbike rent, airport transportation. He also gave us mobile phone with bali-number to stay in touch with him, if something we'll need. And there is a special copy of Travel Book , which was made by Alice Kumara (Interior designer of that beautiful house) with a lot of practical advices and addresses of nice places to visit. The villa was very private and peaceful and beautifully designed. If you like to be in nature this is the perfect stay. It's just like you would imagine a cottage in the jungle, but with a nice and very well cared for garden and pool. So it was the perfect mix of nature and comfort. Everything around the house was well organized and we had everything we needed. Dewa was very kind and helful and took care of everything, but also made sure to give us privacy. Communicating with him was easy, we could text him anytime over whatsapp and he even gave us an extra phone to call him in case we needed to reach him while being in the city. The location was just like described, not far from the center of Ubud but still felt like very far away from the people and the troubles of the city. The people around were also very friendly and and welcoming. I'd absolutely recommend staying here and I'd love to come back some time!

Nous conseillons cette location qui est unvrai havre de paix, à l'ecart de l'agitaion d'UBUD, nous avons passé 16 jours formidables. L'attention portée par Dewa est superbe, vous pouvez vraiment compter sur lui dans toute situation (Logistique, conseils,....) et c'est très appréciable quand vous vous retrouvez a 12 000 Kms de chez vous. Si je devais faire simplement une remarque, c'est peut etre de prévoir dans le coin cuisine un endroit pour pouvoir s'assoire pour déjeuner, mais c'est vraiment un détail mineur ... Donc encore BRAVO et continuez dans cette voie, c'est vraiment la bonne....

Dear Dewa (and Alice) Thank you for an amazing time in Ubud. Your villa was the perfect home for us and our family of four for our stay in Bali. The villa was clean, comfortable, safe, private and truly serene. The rooms were quite large, and well maintained (both rooms are exactly the same!). We loved the bath tub, outdoor shower and pool, as well. The short walks through the rice fields were exhilarating and well worth it to arrive at your private villa. A plus was complimentary breakfast in the mornings at the villa, or at a nearby restaurant. It was delicious and filling enough to sustain us during sightseeing. Dewa was an exceptional host, as a concierge and friend. He was so responsive and efficient in answering questions. Dewa was also a great help in finding us not one, but two last minute drivers as our original driver was ill. We had such a memorable experience in Ubud, and the villa and Dewa, were definitely part of the experience. Our family HIGHLY recommends this private villa. Great host. Welcoming, friendly and accomodating

This villa was absalutly amazing. 2 friends and I stayed here for 4 nights and did not want to leave! Everything about the house is stunning from the furniture to the pool. The host Dewa made our stay amazing. He was so helpful and welcoming and did everything he could to make sure we were enjoying our selfs in ubud! The location of the villa is perfect- just a short walk away from the main streets however, the villa is still tucked away in the gorgeous rice fields where it is so peaceful. I would recommend anyone to stay here! We will be back.

Our time at the villa in the rice fields was lovely. The building was so beautiful and very clean. We also enjoyed the infinity pool with the jungle view. Dewa was extremly helpful and arranged everything for us(airport transfer, day trips,...). Even when we came home late at night, he waited for us with torches so that we could find the way to the villa. The beds have been very comfy and we enjoyed our breakfast at the balcony. We also loved the outdoor rain shower and highly recommend this place in the nature! Thanks Dewa, for making our stay so wonderful! :)

My Wife and I had a fantastic stay at Dewa's villa. He was so helpful and ensured we had everything we needed around the clock 24/7. There wasn't one time where he didn't assist us immediately. I want to thank Dewa for help making our Honeymoon comfortable and an incredible Ubud experience.

We had a truly magical stay and highly recommend this place! The villa is absolutely beautiful, nestled in the middle of the rice fields and the room is facing the jungle. The dragonflies, fireflies, butterfly's and the sounds of nature absorbed our senses. It's perfect if you want to be a little more secluded and away from the busier areas, but also not far from downtown Ubud - only 15 minutes by walk! Alice and Dewa were fantastically kind and attentive hosts! Available whenever we needed. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in, they really enhanced our stay. I highly recommend staying here. We love this place and can't wait to come back again.
