Exploring 3 Bdr - The Dream Cliffside Bamboo Villa By Avana left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of 3 Bdr - The Dream Cliffside Bamboo Villa By Avana was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Semarapura plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for 3 Bdr - The Dream Cliffside Bamboo Villa By Avana painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
It's a beautiful location. Exactly like the pictures. Definitely worth staying just one night. BUT it's way too secluded from the city or local markets or beach. Once you reach there forget about going anywhere else. Getting there is not easy if you don't have a local driver, as its pretty steep uphill. If you need a very private Stay away from city this is it. Lunch and dinner was average but breakfast was good. They don't serve after 9:30pm so carry snacks with you. Overall good stay.
The menu needs updating with more options. Also paying for things upfront instead of at checkout

Amazing stay no issues whatsoever
This place is fantastic and it truly feels like your in the most peaceful place in Bali. You gain a lot of privacy when in your room and the staff is very helpful and always responsive. The rooms all have an air conditioning unit however being made completely of bamboo it can be difficult to trap in the cold air and it can get warm at night. I would recommend this place as a must see for your trip to Bali.
Ons verblijf was super!
We loved our stay there but had bad weather which was very difficult. We could not use most of the spaces that are so beautiful in the photos and when the sun did come out, the lounger cushions were still wet. The menu was very limited, and with time, they seem to run out of some of the ingredients and assumed that would not matter. I am sure that the team there with time will get these things right.
If you are looking for an outdoors experience this is perfect. The staff was very nice and responsive. They made lots of recommendations. Beautiful villas!
It is an amazing location, the villa is very impressive and you have 100% privacy. The staff is very friendly and they reacted very fast on any question or request we had. The food and beverage were great. We stayed 2 nights and didn‘t even left the villa during the days because it was so relaxing and the view amazing. Thanks a lot

Wir hatten einen sehr, sehr schönen Aufenthalt und sind rundum begeistert! Die Unterkunft ist genauso schön und ruhig, wie auf den Bildern. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt und wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben. Auch die Mitarbeiter waren alle unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam – wirklich jeder einzelne hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns so willkommen gefühlt haben. Das Barbecue war super und auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Alles in allem war es für uns ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, den wir jederzeit wiederholen würden. Wer eine schöne, ruhige und erholsame Unterkunft sucht, ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig. Absolute Empfehlung!
Amazing stay! The villa is super spacious and connects you with nature — perfect for big groups or families. Cleanliness and comfort exceeded expectations. Every room has AC, and even with an outdoor kitchen and living area, nights were comfortable. Mosquitoes are expected in the forest, and the villa provided repellent. But the plant maintenance is excellent — we weren't bothered at all. A few notes: bathtubs outside the middle and lower rooms lack privacy. It would be better if the villa could improve this, or provide curtains or screens. Also, hot water isn't enough if you shower and bathe at the same time. Hope this improves. Big praise: the villa knew we had an early Lovina dolphin tour and would miss breakfast, and surprised us with grab-and-go breakfast. So grateful! Unforgettable stay — Avana Bamboo Villas is definitely somewhere I'll return to!
What an amazing stay, thank you to Edi and the whole team. My wife and I stayed in the 3 bed villa and would do it again in a heartbeat. 2-3 nights here is perfect as you're fairly isolated, but the views are worth it. Nothing was too much to ask and they are responsive with whats app communication regarding food and drink being brought to the villa. We purchased the romantic package and were able to exchange the romantic dinner for the BBQ. This was a great choice. Our chef Anya and butler Sangtu were wonderful and we can honestly say it was some of the best BBQ weve had, including at home. The flavours were amazing. Thank you guys, we will be back in the future.
The bamboo house provided a very special stay. The staff's service and warm smiles were wonderful, and the space was very generous for our group of six. The endless rice terrace views were amazing, and the property offered great privacy. My parents celebrated their 48th anniversary here, creating truly unforgettable memories. We reserved the private BBQ chef experience, which was a unique touch. Although the food was delicious, the menu items were fairly standard. Having a wider variety of menu options for the private chef would definitely enhance the experience.
We had a fantastic stay here, the views were breathtaking, the villa was beautiful and the staff were amazingly kind, helpful and really made our stay special.

This was such an incredible stay - it’s hard to put into words. The treehouse was amazing - every detail. The view was breathtaking, we knew this from the pictures but nothing compared to what it’s like in person, The staff were so attentive and lovely. We communicated by text and they responded immediately helping us with trips and information, we ate there every night as it was delicious. We travelled as a family with a 5 and 10 year old and I was initially unsure how it would be for a family rather than a couple but I needn’t have worried - the kids LOVED it! The staff set up a projector in the bedroom so we had a film night each evening. Just SUCH a wonderful stay. Couldn’t have asked for more. Sidemen is well worth a visit! Thanks to the team for everything ❤️

A paradise-like setting for an exceptional stay. We spent two nights as a family at the wonderful Villa Avana. Everything was perfect: the pool, the comfort of the villa, the attentive staff, the view, the magnificent sunrise, and the surrounding nature. A place we will never forget and would love to return to as soon as possible! A big thank you to the Avana family.
一直想在巴厘岛住竹屋，这个房子让我如愿了，如果你喜欢拍照，它到处都能拍得很好看！房子很大很舒服，而且从阳台看出去的景色很优美，你不需要再坐很久的车去看梯田了，在阳台就可以看梯田！除了房子会有一些小昆虫朋友们，但我觉得这样很有趣！还有一点就是房间里提供的餐食挺好吃的，住进去就可以不用外出就餐了，非常方便！

The 3 bedroom dream villa was spectacular! The photos don’t really do the villa or the view justice. The BBQ evening was great and all the other food we had onsite was excellent. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. We didn’t want to leave!!

Sehr schöne Ubterkunft. Gigantische Aussicht, maximale Privatspähre und super schöner Pool. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir hatten das private BBQ welches wirklich sehr gut war und seinen Preis wert. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

My husband booked this Villa for my 50th birthday. No words can describe the beauty of the Villa. The hospitality that was received from the entire staff. It was just what we needed, a very peaceful, private, beautiful views and secluded enough for us yet not too far for activities. I honestly could have stayed in the Villa my whole trip that’s how relaxing and peaceful it was. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who would like to be aligned with mind, body, soul and the beauty of nature. Special shout out to the drivers Supreet and Alex. They made the experience more delightful. We left gaining two new friends. Thank you again to the entire Avana Crew for making this the BEST Birthday experience ever and of course to my husband for putting it together love you always 😘🙏🏽

Our stay at the treehouse in Bali was absolutely amazing! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of during our entire stay. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The property was very clean, peaceful, and relaxing the perfect place to unwind and enjoy Bali. The food was also excellent and exceeded our expectations. Every detail of the experience made us feel special and at home. We are absolutely delighted with our stay here. The view is simply breathtaking: dramatic cliffs, the majestic Mount Agung, and the endless ocean all together create a truly magical atmosphere. We also had the chance to see the three-bedroom villa, and everything was in perfect condition, beautifully designed and maintained. The highlight was waking up to the majestic view of Mount Agung. Watching the clouds dance around the volcano from the comfort of my bed was a spiritual experience. Unlike other mountain retreats, Avana features a private heated infinity pool. Being able to soak in warm water while the crisp mountain air settled around us was pure magic—a total game-changer for the Bali highlands. The service was impeccable. This location is incredible! A dream come true. Staying in a treehouse surrounded by natures beauty is amazing. The staff looked after our every need. We decided to order from them for almost every meal and every meal was delicious and they attended to detailed changes for our picky eaters. Amazing. The kids loved every meal and even tried new foods. When we went out for outings, they asked us if we wanted our place cleaned or not. Such respect. The pool was gorgeous. We loved every minute of our 6 days there. They helped us find the location, helped us with directions to our excursions because we had our own car. We’d recommend using drivers from their hotel because it’s tricky driving in Bali. That’s the only change we’d make, but we only did that because we are a family of 5, so would’ve needed two cars. So many wonderful things! We loved the BBQ dinner where the chef came to our villa to cook for us. We loved the massages and we loved having baths each day on our balcony!

The setting is peaceful, stunning, and truly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever experienced. The hospitality was beyond anything we’ve encountered—warm, attentive, and genuinely heartfelt. They worked seamlessly with our coordinators and arranged parking for our guests. Parking in the area can be difficult, but the staff handled everything and truly waited on us hand and foot. The food was incredible, and one of the most special touches was arranging for a local farmer to let us take photos in his rice fields, which were as beautiful as the Tegalalang terraces. The pool is amazing, perfect for relaxing while surrounded by nature. The owners should know they have hired exceptional staff—every single one of them deserves a raise and a nice bonus. They have created something truly special here.

아이들 환상에 딱 걸맞는 숙소였어요. 래프팅 마치고 갈만한 근처 숙소 찾다가 우연히 발견한 곳인데 숲 속에서 꿈같은 하루를 보내고 왔답니다. 래프팅은 아이들이 원치 않아서 우붓에서 그랩으로 바로 이동했고 예약 후 사진 보고 숙소 제대로 즐기기가 계획이었어요. 뷰 - 왼쪽은 산 오른쪽은 바다 계단식 논이 펼쳐져 있어요. 마사지 - 발리에서 받은 마사지 중에 최고였어요! 바베큐 - 예약 안했으면 후회 할 뻔했어요! 꼭 예약하세요. 조식 - 사진 그대로 인 것도 놀라운데 맛도 좋아요 서비스 - 5성급 호텔 보다 더 친절해요. 그랩 도착했을 때 직원 분들이 길목까지 나와서 방에 입실할 때까지 모든 걸 다 케어해주셨어요. 레스토랑 - 먹성 좋은 아이들 덕에 나시고랭&미고랭 추가 주문해서 먹었는데 여기가 미슐랭 맛집이 아닌가 싶습니다. 리조트 여기갈까 저기갈까 고민하다가 프라이빗함이 좋아서 결정한 곳인데 정말 좋았어요. 꾸따로 바로 나올 때 는 택시 서비스 이용했는데 기사님들도 최고였어요. 조용하게 우리만의 시간이 필요하다면 아바나 꼭 들려보세요.

We were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink, and the bamboo villa is simply amazing. The villa looked neat and tidy, and the view and design are nothing short of spectacular. It's definitely worth getting up early for sunrise to enjoy the magnificent view, which, if you're lucky, includes a clear view of Mount Agung. The breakfast and dinner were also very tasty here. This place is definitely recommended!
The place is really good. The location is very secluded but has access to many great things nearby like waterfalls and temples. The bamboo architecture is something I will never forget.

This is a once in a lifetime villa experience. It’s overwhelming when you enter this beautiful architectural wonder. The view, the atmosphere, the staff, the food they made this stay unforgettable. It’s breathtaking when you wake up and have a bath on the outside balcony. If you want something special this is the place to be. We have enjoyed every minute of it.
You have to see it to believe it—Avana Bamboo Villa is pure paradise. We regret staying only three nights there. The views are absolutely breathtaking—magical even. It’s peaceful and quiet, nothing like the busy tourist areas. Watching the sunrise and endless rice terraces, mountain and even ocean awakens all your senses. We felt truly special. I have the highest praise for the entire staff (all 15 of them) who looked after us with such care and attention. Ali and Edi were incredibly polite and quick to respond, always ensuring everything was arranged to perfection. Our group of six enjoyed several in-villa massages—a fantastic experience. The villa's amazing driver, Supry, shared so much knowledge with us and helped us explore the authentic side of Bali. And the food—OMG! It was so delicious that we chose to dine only at the villa. The chef deserves endless praise! In short, it was a magical, luxurious, yet surprisingly affordable stay. Unforgettable experience. We will be back !
Unique experience living in a bamboo villa surrounded by a volcano, rice fields and ocean! The architecture is beautiful, the pool was refreshing and the bathtub with such a view is an amazing feature of the villa! It was also great to have included breakfast in the morning. The staff is very friendly and nice.

I had the most amazing 3 night stay here. The villa was picture perfect and everything I dreamed of! It was very private and peaceful. The staff was also lovely and very friendly. We did their in-villa BBQ dinner and also took an in-villa Balinese cooking class — which were both great! We also got in-villa massages and facials. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay in Bali — away from the tourist areas. It was a great place to start my Bali trip and recover from travel/jet lag.

Wow just wow we visited last week and enjoyed it so much a 2 night return was needed! The staff are incredible friendly and nothing too much trouble to communicate on Whats App order food etc such a good idea. The food was exceptional always presented perfectly and so tasty. The villa is out of this world perfect views and so unique in every aspect. The photos and description matches exactly what you get. To the amazing drivers, helpful reception, wonderful staff and cleaners and brilliant masseuse thank you so very much.

Espaço incrível, limpo e com funcionários bastante prestáveis. É uma casa de bamboo bem pensada e extremamente bonita. O facto de o quarto ser todo fechado com vidros permite ver a natureza sem estar diretamente em contacto com ela, o que na nossa opinião é uma vantagem para passar uma noite bem tranquila. Comprarmos o pack romântico e adoramos a experiência, foi toda pensada ao pormenor. Recomendamos vivamente!

Absolute Traumvilla.
Avana Villa is a truly wonderful place to be at one with nature. No hustle, no noise just you and the soothing sounds of birdsong. The pool was perfect, and the friendly, attentive staff took great care of us, serving delicious breakfasts and hosting amazing BBQs every evening. We didn’t need to worry about a thing during our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature and far from the crowds, this is the place. Highly recommended!

One of the best locations we did on Airbnb ever. Breathing view, spacious, high end. Staff really taking care, reactive, great food. Cherry on the cake: we did the Balinese cooking course: fantastic experience resulting in a delicious dinner! Strongly recommend!

The Avana Dream Villa is absolute magic. It has everything you need and is so clean, well kept and beautiful. The staff is wonderful - responsive, helpful, and so kind. The location is spectacular, beautiful views everywhere you looked, including the bath tubs! The Avana team added so many special extra touches that it really shows how much they care about their guests. It was very easy to order food (which was all excellent) and the fridge came stocked with drinks. We arranged several excursions through them and it was all very easy - they organized everything and the driver came to pick us up and brought us everywhere we wanted to go. We also did the BBQ dinner, which was delicious. Our family of five spent three great days here and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We wanted the unique bali treehouse experience and this was definitely that. The property and the view was stunning. Take in the miles of rice terraces from your pool or 1 of 3 bath tubs overlooking the valley below. The staff were all incredible and you could get pretty much whatever you wanted when you wanted. They also have nice touches like floating breakfasts and private bbq grilled for you in your kitchen. Sooo much food! I’d def recommend spending 2 nights here to get the full experience!

Certainly a unique property and definitely had the wow factor for us. Everything was as described. We were looked after well - the team were friendly, helpful and professional. The views were amazing and the atmosphere calming. We had the chef cooked BBQ - everyone enjoyed it - plenty of food and it was delicious. We would definitely recommend.
The bamboo villa was amazing with meticulous attention by the staff. The place was beautiful, clean, with amazing views. Food was tasty with great presentation and juices were fresh and refreshing. Staff was always attentive to whatever needs we had and arranged tours and transportation for us. Our driver Supry, was the kindest person and always took care of our family! Wished we stayed longer!

We spent 2 nights here as part of our honeymoon. The villa was beautiful, as per the photos, but the thing that the pictures really don’t capture is the view. You can literally see the whole valley. Also, the sun rises from behind the mountain opposite. Worth getting up at 5:45 AM for. I did that both mornings I was there, and I hate early mornings usually. 😂 At the end of the first night I was already regretting for not booking longer. The staff were very kind and helpful, the food was tasty, and did I mention the view?

The Dream Bamboo Cliff Villa was the perfect place for the balance between pampering and adventure that we seeked when booking a place to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We're group of 5 friends from the USA. Our driver, Supry was all smiles from the time he picked us up until we had to say our good-byes. Though his job description is a driver, he is more like a tour guide, answering our questions, making recommendations and even literally guiding us on a hike to a secret waterfall. This is a must do!!! We had the waterfalls to ourselves the whole time. The staff at the villa was always warm, genuinely friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, light and healthy. The juices so refreshing. We especially enjoyed the breakfast menu and the BBQ dinner. Their sauces are homemade and so flavorful. The bamboo dinner class was fun too. Eddie was always just a text away to help rearrange our schedule. He always made it work! We needed more than 3 nights! We will definitely come back!

Surreal! The location of this place is amazing, nestled in the jungle with a sunrise view. It is a bit far from major attractions but that is the point of this place, to relax and enjoy the nature. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS ADD CLOUDS. And then you'd be in heaven . The most beautiful Bamboo villa I have found in Bali. Very well constructed with a creative excellence. Professional staff, with hearts of Gold, for attenion to detail, care and compassion. Extremely helpful, vigilant and diligent in their duties. Usually I do not like to be disturbed and limit interaction with villa staff. Here was the opposite, from the very beginning, they made me feel welcome and saturated with a feeling of homeliness. The view.... let's go back to my first line. THE VIEW was heavenly! A panoramic vista of serenity from morning until night. The only wish would be to stay here longer... See you all again soon.

The view is extremely spectacular. The specially selected honeymoon package is truly worthwhile. The arrangements are very thoughtful and the service is excellent.
Amazing stay. The view was unreal, staff were incredibly attentive and would rival any high end resort with their service. Looking forward to a future visit. Highly recommend using their drivers/guides for transport and visits to local attractions like waterfalls etc.

Avana Bamboo Villas was a quiet getaway in Bali. It’s an open concept villa excluding the bedrooms, so be prepared to be one with nature and the elements. It heavily rained while we were there, but the home was designed so we were able to stay dry and enjoy the open air communal areas. Geckos, frogs, and a few spiders will make their way into the open areas. The mosquitos were not too terrible, and the provided bug spray worked well. Very responsive and helpful staff. We booked a full day tour and 3 spa services the next day. Both were excellently staffed.

We loved Avana’s treehouse - it was a great experience. We would love to stay again, maybe for 2 days next time. It is so peaceful, even with the sounds of nature - still very peaceful… we recommend this place if you want to be at one with nature. The host and staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you and very very efficient to respond to any requests. Honeymoon Massage package was awesome. Most amazing view in all of Bali in our opinions. Top 10 view I’ve ever seen in the world. The pool was incredible. Rooms were great. AC in the rooms worked well. I think the ideal length of stay is 2-3 nights. There are two other villas and whole staff that assist you and they are great. You eat food from their kitchen for all meals. Food delivery isn’t close by- so bring some snacks if you want other foods than what is on their menu. We LOVED our stay here.

We've done a lot of beatiful bamboo villa's on the island but this is one of my favorite! The sunrise was amazing, the villa amazing! And!!! And this is often not so great at inhouse dining, the food is exceptional good!! Breakfast, lunch and dinner! Next level cooking... If you love sun! Ask at booking for the right villa. It are 3 villa's and the sun turns so the longest sun at the pool will bw at the right villa. Oooh! Massage also very good! Flowerbath with the view also sooooo great... All said, perfect stay, a unique Bali stay and a PERFECT location❤️🙏🏼
Wow wow wow! The treehouse was spectacular. The views were breathtaking and the bamboo architecture was unreal. Every detail was well thought out form The infinity pool, to the bath tubs on each balcony. One of the most amazing places we have ever stayed. The service was fantastic. The staff prepared simply flower decoration for anniversary at the bedroom and prepared a cake for our dinner. They are very sweet and we had a wonderful stay in Bali :)

This was absolutely magical. It is a very unique and beautifully designed house perched on the side of a cliff overlooking the most beautiful rice paddy view. The flowers around the pool attract butterflies and dragonflies. We are a family of 5 and we loved everything about our stay there. The staff was incredibly responsive. The staff prepared a beautiful flower bath celebrating my sister's 25th wedding anniversary, which was a lovely surprise for her. The food was fantastic and well-priced. The rooms are quite private, with several spaces to lounge. The wi-fi was fast and reliable. We had two spa packages, which were very reasonably priced and very professional. We felt totally pampered. There is lots to do in the area but the house was so beautiful that we didn't want to go anywhere. Yes it is pricey but it was worth every penny as a bucket list place to stay.
I absolutely enjoyed my stay here, the staff were very helpful and amazing. They took care of all our needs. They arrange breakfast lunch and dinner, which was amazing with the beautiful view. They arrange transportation for pick up and drop off. The driver was amazing and best tour guide ever. If you want peace and quiet for the perfect view of nature, I highly recommend this place.

I booked a stay here at the nd of a work conference trip to Bali. wow am I glad I booked. the pictures dont do the view justice, it really is amazing. The bamboo treehouse is built into a cliff overlooking rice paddys and far away hills. theres a view of the volcano up the vally and a virw all the way to the coast down the vally. Its slightly less humid and hot than sea level, which was a welcome relief, although it still hits the high end of temperatures. you really feel like you're living in the jungle, but with a 5 star accommodation and 5 star view.

Truly a breathtaking location, the view was better than we could have imagined. The villa was beautiful and well planned out. So many little nooks to break away to, with lovely bedrooms fully air-conned. The food and drinks were wonderful and everything was communicated through Whats-app. So easy to request anything with a very quick response. (Flagging that there are no cocktails - which would have been lovely) The staff were so attentive and kind. We also had a cute welcome to celebrate an anniversary. Bathtubs on the balcony’s were a highlight. Really couldn’t be beaten really - it was well worth the money and a chance to break away. Out personal driver was so lovely, staying with us and transporting us from location to location. Only comment to flag was across the valley there was a celebration building (wedding of sorts) and their music and karaoke bellowed across the valley and felt very loud. Happen 2 of 3 nights - hopefully not regular! No fault of villa!

Wow, what a beautiful villa! The views are out of this world and the photos don’t seem to give this place justice - it is even better when you are there. Avana were very accommodating and friendly from check in, all the way through to check out. A peaceful location where you can enjoy delicious food and relaxing massages whilst soaking in the atmosphere of the pool overlooking rice terraces. Avana is an absolutely must when visiting Bali! This place was just what we imagined! A beautiful bamboo dream house with even more beautiful surroundings. We were a group of 5 friends celebrating my birthday. Our host Ali and the whole staff was so helpful, friendly, and kind. We did in-house massages on the deck, a cooking class, yoga in the morning, and a bbq dinner. We took advantage of all that they offered and are so happy we did. It’s so peaceful to wake up to silence and to see the sunrise and rice fields. Even though the house is exposed to the elements, we didn’t get too many bugs or let the rain bother us. We highly recommend this place for couples or with a group of friends. It was such an amazing experience.
First off from my pictures all of my friends and family are envious. The 3 bedroom treehouse with a pool blew my mind with its style, stunning bamboo architecture and breathtaking views of rice fields and mountains. Bedrooms were comfortable . Never ran out of hot water, food was A-1 , service was excellent. We had a chef come and do a BBQ, photo shoot and couple massage. The service was exceptional . I recommend this treehouse to everyone visiting Bali .

We did not want to leave! We saved the villa for the last few days of the trip and it was the most relaxing experience. The villa is beautiful and perfect for the 4 of us. The service is incredible! We did a cooking class and had so much fun! The included breakfast is delicious. We had Alex as our driver and he was great. Definitely worth a stay, can’t wait to come back.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at the Dream Villa at Avana - the photos honestly do not do this space justice, it is absolutely unreal in person. The food was absolutely fantastic too - overall, a magical stay. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a perfect staycation place in Ubud - you genuinely won't even want to leave this place for a second.
Amazing stay and incredible sunrise and views
The place is beautiful, offering a spectacular view and excellent service. It's located in a remote area, but the local staff will take care of cooking, cleaning, and arranging tours for you. They are very friendly and competent, and the food is delicious. We communicated with the staff via text messages, and they were always quick to respond. When we visited in late July, we didn't encounter any bugs or mosquitoes. You can either relax in this magnificent setting or take tours around the island, which we highly recommend. Our drivers, Alex and Supry, were fantastic. They spoke good English, were highly knowledgeable about the sites, and drove safely and skillfully. Ali and Edi, the two head staff, were always available and helpful.
We loved our stay at Avana! the bamboo architecture and clever super well thought out design was so impressive. Our bedroom and floral bath was so romantic! All the little touches were very much appreciated. Frangipani soaps were so lovely. Staff were so quick to respond and friendly. The view was extradinary. A lovely and a peacefull place to spend some good days .
This villa places you right in the middle of nature. The view is breath taking as you are on the mountain in the jungle on one side and again the jungle far away on the other side. The villa is built from bamboo all over and is a work of art done in great detail. There are three levels with one room each floor, connected with steps. Actually many steps and they are somewhat uneven size so while we loved this architecture, I would not recommend it if you are coming with young kids as running on these stairs can be dangerous. Carrying a baby will be an issue. For older children that’s not a problem. Rooms are modest in size but very well appointed. Everything is clean and organized. There is kitchen but the place has a chef on board and uou can order your breakfast and lunch - dinner from 9am till 10pm. The food is good (you have to like Balinese cooking - personal preference) and promptly delivered. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Whatever you need they will get you.
Truly was amazing experience and such beautiful place and service was phenomenal everything I need am for staff came took care of us. The massage experience with excellent was able to get a massage every day while was there the surroundings was just breathtaking and enjoyable experience very peaceful.Ali was great host and English was very clear. This is a hidden gem with a boutique hand tailored experience. The staff went above and beyond. The driver Ketut was phenomenal and made our experience one to remember. We will definitely be returning, and coupling speak higher of the staff, the rooms, the view, and the food. The avocado egg breakfast, and the smoothie bowls were to die for!

This place was truly breathtaking!!! We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning and the afternoon swims in your own private pool! The rooms were spotless! If you are not afraid of the outdoor treehouse living experience, I highly recommend. The kitchen, bathroom and lounge areas are outdoors, but the rooms are fully enclosed. The staff were super friendly, helpful and responsive. This place is very secluded and not near the city of stores. It is more of a relaxation destination if that is what you are looking for. Great experience for our honeymoon :)

These were the most magical 2 nights that we spent in Bali. The property was exquisitely beautiful and has a wonderfully designed interior, very comfortable and a treat for the eyes. The staff were so friendly and attentive to everything. We ate our meals there too and the food was healthy and very delicious! The location is like nothing I had been to before, very much off the beaten path, very restful and restorative. If I ever visit Bali again I would come back and stay longer, it is heaven on earth. Thank you for the delightful stay!

A bucket list stay for us! The Dream Villa was everything we dreamed of! This is truly a luxury stay yet the best of nature. The view is incredible from every space in the villa. Ordering off the menu, fresh bedding everyday, polite & friendly staff showed every detail is part of the experience. We stayed four nights and of course didn’t want to leave. You won’t regret this view. Worth every dollar. Highly recommend!

I can’t rave this place enough!! They went above and beyond and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you for everything you did and have done for us! You made this experience something no one will ever top! Perfect engagement!! I am one happy lady! The place was so unreal so beautiful from the hot water the bath tubs the water pressure the sounds at night! The dinner was unreal all the roses in the tub down the stairs to the “will you marry me?” Unbelievable! I will be back! We hebben 2 nachten met mijn gezin hier vertoefd. Het was sprookjesachtig. Een unieke en prachtig gemaakte boomhut, met oog voor detail. Iets heel anders. En dit tenmidden van een prachtige natuur en rijstvelden. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. We hebben genoten, het was helemaal top.

Surrounded by lush greenery and offering stunning views, provides an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The host and staff went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The villa was well equipped with coffee machine, ready ice for drinks, pool towels and yoga mats. While local food was available, the preparation could use some enhancement. Considering the rich culinary heritage of the region, a more authentic and well-executed menu would significantly enhance the overall dining experience. Despite this, the Avana Bamboo Villa remains a charming and tranquil retreat offering a perfect escape into nature.
Avana is amazing. What a beautiful place to stay. From the villa you can see white water rafting so if I knew I would have done the rafting while staying at this place. Friendly staff, good food, nice bbq class and great beds.
Spectacular! We stayed 4 total days here and loved every minute of it. The views were epic, the relaxation was peaceful, the responseivness was within minutes, and the food was plentiful. Additionally they offer some off site excursions with transportation so you don't have to worry about anything (we saw the waterfalls and mother temple). I recommend waking up early to see the sun break over the mountains while relaxing in the tub. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Words truly cannot describe both the experience and the beauty of it. I was fortunate to stay at this amazing treehouse that overlook a breathtaking view. This is one no one should hesitate to book. The staff is immaculate food especially the breakfast was to die for. I plan to come back and enjoy it again it is a must when I travel to bali.

Fabuleux séjour en famille, nous nous sommes régalés. Tout était parfait : le lieu, la vue, la propreté, le service, l’accueil, le confort. Le paradis sur terre ! S’il ne fallait faire qu’une critique : dommage qu’il n’y ait pas une machine à café ou du thé à disposition, pour le prix, cela devrait être à volonté sans avoir besoin de passer une commande.

Un lieu magique ! Nous ne sommes restés qu’une nuit mais regrettons de n’avoir pas pu rester plus longtemps. La villa est magnifique, la vue incroyable. Tout le confort est assuré (eau chaude, climatisation, frigo…). Le personnel est très agréable et efficace. Une mention spéciale pour le driver (“super”) : en plus de nous conduire de façon agréable, il nous a donné des explications utiles et intéressantes. Je craignais les moustiques mais nous n’en avons pas eus. Nous espérons avoir l’occasion de revenir pour un plus long séjour !

We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa and it was Amazing🤩 beautifull decor and Amazing views over the ricefields!! The staff was very attentive to all your needs and you will never have another bath experience like you have at Avana Bamboo Villa, again THE VIEWS🥰 The only critic we have is the lounge area sofa’s near the pool, it is not to comfortable! Other than that We can highly recommend Avana Bamboo Villa🙏

The villa and the view is simply stunning. The staff were lovely, very efficient and easy to communicate with. We had asked for a bbq dinner at the villa which was delicious and beautifully set up. Breakfast was great. It was also my father's bday and they kindly surprised us with a cake for him. Minor things that would've improved the experience would've been having more drinking water available at the Villa (we ran out of water at night and had no way of getting more until 8am), sufficient cups and glasses for the number of people at the Villa as well as complimentary coffee and tea. Regardless, we loved our stay and would be super happy to return.

Our time at Avana was simply sublime. The five days my daughters and I had in this astonishing bamboo villa were the perfect buffer between a hectic (but delicious) stay in Singapore and a few final days spent at a more traditional beach resort in Nusa Dua. The Avana staff was exceptional. The menu was superb. The early sun-rise hike to Mt Batur was fabulous (... and the only time any of us left the villa). It's not often that you get to stay in a genuine work of art with magical views of the Mt Agung (when the clouds allowed), the sunrise, rice terraces, and the sea. This experience pushed our budget and I don't regret it one bit. My advice to future visitors (1) Do your homework and read the reviews so you know well what to expect, and (2) Do yourself a favor and book yourself a bit of heaven =)!

Absolutely beautiful bamboo villa that will take your breath away! The place looked better than the photos, we absolutely loved all the facilities offered, including food, in-villa massage, volcano hike accommodation and a flower bath. Every corner has a photo-worthy view! I have been to other bamboo villas before, but this one truly stood out by how well-equipped it was! I want to thank the whole staff for making our stay magical. Absolute bliss. A beautiful location made more magical by stunning, innovative architecture built from bamboo. Attentive but discrete staff, fabulous meals and ultra comfortable (circular !) beds, all made for a most memorable 3 night stay. The in house chef is wonderful. If you enjoy cooking the traditional bbq cooking class dinner is a must. Five stars, don’t hesitate.

Food was good but was hoping for a little more variety/authenticity. but there are local restaurants nearby. Loved having the bathtub. Although hot water was not sufficient while staying here. Hopefully that can be fixed.
The photos do not do justice! You must see this place in person. When I say blown away, I mean this! Avana is an experience that we will never forget! I have stayed at several places, but this one will forever be cemented in my memories. I have personal videos and photos that highlight my actual experience. We had the most amazing time in our stay. The place was located in front of beautiful a beautiful rice field below and surrounded by the forest. The place itself was beautiful and had everything we needed plus more. On top of that, the staffs were always making sure we had everything we needed. It felt like home for the days we were. The food service was also amazing and delicious. When we had to check out we felt very sad, leaving the beautiful place and the amazing and friendly staffs who made us feel right at home. Thank you for everything Avana. We look forward to staying here again!
Eddie our host is so accommodating, he let us know if someone is going to fly a drone in the surroundings which makes us feel more secure and private. He is always on time whenever we plan something, all the staff are very attentive whenever we need something, they are so respectful and warm. We arrived late and Ketut is our driver, he made sure that we had everything we need before we get settled down, the security that received us help us with our luggages. We also did a massage and barbecue for dinner and we had a really good experience, the views are beautiful and the place are so peaceful and calm. We definitely recommend!!!

Avana exceeded all of our expectations and was the highlight of our whole trip. This airbnb set the standard so high for the rest of our Bali trip and honestly for all our future airbnbs. The pictures of the view that you wake up to do not do it justice. Everyone at Avana was so nice and accommodating. We booked a lot of the offered services and were not disappointed. Do note that you are very much staying in nature so there will be a good amount of bugs. Would definitely come back to Bali for this airbnb alone!
The Dream Cliffside Bamboo Villa was simply amazing. The views were consistently stunning, from a peekaboo view of Mt. Agung on one side all the way down the valley to the Indian Ocean on the other. The sunrises over the mountains on the other side of the valley every morning were breathtaking. I haven't stayed anywhere that even comes close to comparing to it. The staff were also exceptional everyone was so friendly and warm. They were prompt in responding to requests and went above and beyond to accommodate even last minute changes. Ketut, the driver is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. It was a pleasure to spend time with him. Any time we described what we'd like to see or do he gave us a variety of options which led us to a number of amazing off the beaten path experiences. The chef makes amazing food and is a great teacher for the cooking class, including how to adapt the recipes for ingredient availability. I'd highly recommend this stay for anyone staying in the area!

What a beautiful property! Only stayed here for 2 nights but definitely wished I stayed longer if I could! It’s definitely a nice place to stay if you want to just relax and get away from the crowd. Property had spectacular views of the forest, rice fields, and you can even see the ocean from a far distance! Check in process is very smooth and you will get welcome drinks upon arrival as well. Food menu was great as well. If you want to order food that’s not on the menu, they will work with the chef at the property to cook what dish you want them to make. Terrific experience!
Incredible!!!! The most beautiful location you can imagine overlooking the rice terraces with views of Mt Agung and the ocean on either side. The craftsmanship of the villa was a work of art and I can not say enough good things about the entire staff! The staff is all local from the nearby village and everyone is incredibly kind, friendly and hard working. The manager always had a big smile on his face and was quick to help with any of our needs. He even went into town to grab some allergy medication for my friend when she needed some! We loved all the experiences offered, especially the in-house massages, the cooking class and the private yoga instruction! This was a truly unique experience and I hope to return again someday. Thank you to all the staff at Avana for making our stay truly unforgettable!

WOW!! everything about this place was faultless. 5 star facilities and 5 star service! nothing was too much for the team from the moment we arrived we felt extremely welcome. We have been to this heavenly place twice. the first time we rented a house with one bedroom, the second time with three. everything here is excellent: the attention and service of the staff, delicious cuisine. but the most important thing is the view from the houses, the rice terraces, the mountains. during our trip to Bali, we stayed in different hotels and houses, expensive and not very expensive, but only you want to return to this place again and again. We have a saying: “to return, you need to leave something from things” we are always attentive and check if we left something, in this place I want to leave everything in order to come back here more often. I was looking for a galentine staycation place and was so lucky to found this gem. We had the best time staying at at this amazing bamboo villa!! The architecture is seriously next-level, it’s like something straight out of a design magazine. And the outdoor living just perfect! The infinity pool was my happy place; just lounging around and sun bathing with cool mountain breeze and a million dollar view. And what really made my trip even better was the staff. These guys went all out to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Super friendly and always up for a good chat, especially while we have our authentic Balinese bamboo grilled cooking class- its truly memorable experience and a must do! The staff also gave us some great tips on what to check in the area. Big shout out to the staff for being so awesome and making my stay unforgettable. Perfect for family or group of friends! Just new 3bedroom/3bath Bamboo Masterpiece! Once in a lifetime experience! Stunning views of the valley, ocean, and mount Agung! You are on top of a cliff and the views are just mesmerizing. Each room has its own floor with a bathroom, private balcony and bathtub overlooking the valley & ocean. The common living space is on the second level and has a huge infinity pool, kitchen, large sitting area, and dining table. The service is 5star+, private butler, on-site chef catering to all your needs & offering of multiple on-site or off-site experiences (BBQ, cooking class, massages, hikes, jeep tours, water rafting, waterfall hiking, you name it!). I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Long Villa by Avana and I must say, it was truly an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was in awe of the unique architecture of the property - it was truly unlike anything I've ever seen before.
