Exploring Agung's Nest | Bamboo House left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Agung's Nest | Bamboo House was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Selat plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Agung's Nest | Bamboo House painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
الإيجابيات : الطاقم سريع في التعامل و الأكل لذيذ منظر السرير المعلق (السقالة الشبكية) امام الجبل جدا جميل . السلبيات : الكوخ مخيف في الليل ، صوت الضفادع مزعج جدا بالليل ، صوت صراصير الليل مزعج جدا ، الحشرات كثيرة على السرير و الاقمشة متسخة ولا توجد خصوصية العمال كانوا يعملون امام بركة السباحة وغير مناسب لنا كعرب و مسلمين
Il s'agit d'un très bel endroit. La maison en bambou offre un charme inégalé. Pour nous qui y avons séjourné à la fin mai, les températures de nuits ne sont pas trop chaude, mais très humide. Le fait qu'il s'agit d'une maison en bambou, donc non étanche, l'humidité entre dans la chambre au point ou nos sacs étaient, sans dire trempés évidemment, mais un feeling mouillé le matin. Comme il est indiqué, on doit vivre avec les habitants naturels tel que décrit dans les spécifications. Je n'ai pas de trouble avec ça, mais c'était infesté d'abeilles. Le matin ont se réveillait il y en avait plusieurs sur le plancher, autant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Un Gecko, des fourmis, des moustiques, je n'ai pas de problème, mais des abeilles de 1 1/2 pouce, ça oui. Un soir nous en avions une à l'intérieur de notre moustiquaire, pas besoin de vous dire que mon épouse n'a pas bien dormi. Durant le jour, bien qu'il y en a à l'extérieur, ça reste moins dérangeant qu'à l'intérieur.
The place itself is beautiful and has a view like a screensaver. Unfortunately on the pictures it doesn't show the villa has gaps between the doors or ceilings nor was it described in the listing. Wildlife can easily come in unfortunately. If you have any kind of phobias, ie, bugs, frogs, lizards, spiders, snakes, etc, then we recommend not to book as you won't feel safe. We were disappointed with the lack of communication from our host during the night as there was an incident and we feared a snake had gotten into the villa. We received a response 5 hours after asking for help. Fortunately, it was just a gecko (which are harmless), but we were terrified for the reminder of the night and barely slept thinking about it, which ruined that particular night there. The host and the staff were absolutely brilliant on everything else and we were glad to meet them. They ordered food for us which was delicious and also organised an amazing two hour couple massage in the villa.
We stayed two nights in the bamboo hut. The view is stunning. Unfortunately the rice field were already harvested, so it will look different than in the pictures, although still beautiful. There were also farmers working in front of the hut but that didn’t bother us at all. The location is very remote. It’s about 20 minute drive to Sidemen. There is no Grab or Gojek in the area and only one driver for the village and prices are high. Agus helped us to hire a scooter. The staff was very friendly but considering the price per night service needs to improve. We had a good stay but wouldn’t return. Overall there price for what you get is too much.

The views are what makes this place incredible, the staff are beautiful and super accommodating. Didn’t love the round bed - if you’re too decent sized humans it can be difficult to sleep. You are truly immersed in nature. The rice field workers are super close to the home working amongst the rice so can be a little uncomfortable at times but otherwise it was no biggie. The views are something else and something you can’t experience elsewhere. It’s something you need to try even just once.

L’accueil et le service étaient au top. La nourriture délicieuse! Pour les amoureux de la nature et du calme, très ressourçant. Il ne faut pas avoir peur des lézards, des grenouilles et différents insectes. J’ai beaucoup aimé cet endroit. Loin de tout et très très relaxant. Merci pour tout.

Très beau séjour ! Vue incroyable, hôte réactif. Il est certain que si le bruit des animaux peut vous empêcher de dormir, il est préférable de vous diriger vers un autre établissement mais lorsqu’on est ok avec la nature, ce lieu est exceptionnel pour se ressourcer. Les plats proposés sont très savoureux. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir.
Très bel endroit et fidéle à la descritpion. Vue magnifique ! Petit bemol sur le petit déjeuner et sur la flexibilité de l'hôte. A 10h55 le personnel était déjà devant la porte pour la sortie et à 11h l'arrivée du taxi pour une demande à 11h15 !On s'est senti se faire mettre dehors - Mais nous en avons eu plein les yeux ! c'est l'essentiel

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit atemberaubendem Ausblick. In der Gegend gibt es nicht viel zu machen, daher haben wir die meiste Zeit in der Unterkunft verbracht. 3 Nächte waren da schon fast zu viel. Das Essen in der Unterkunft hat uns nicht überzeugt. In näherer Umgebung gibt es nicht viele Ausweichmöglichleiten, die zu Fuß zu erreichen sind. Viele Tiere und Tiergeräusche in der Nacht. Das Team war zu jederzeit immer freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.
Villaen er helt fantastisk, vakkert interiør og veldig god service. Sengen var veldig god og sove i og stedet, håndklær og sengetøy var rent og fint. Masse gode anbefalinger til restauranter. Vi tilbrakte masse tid i nettet, så dette var deilig. Insektene var ikke noe problem, var mye mindre enn vi forventet. Bassenget er nydelig! Skulle ønske det var ordentlig dør til toalettet, da det er rett ut til spiseplassen. De bygget flere villaer litt bortenfor så det var en del byggestøy. Det var også støy fra maskinen til bøndene på risikerende, men det er å forvente og dårlig timing. Bøndene var respektfulle og tittet ikke opp på villaen. Maten kunne vært bedre. Vi besøkte restauranter på andre villa-komplekset som var mye bedre og hadde mye bedre fasiliteter. Alt i alt en Velsig god opplevelse.

Das Bambus Haus liegt unweit eines Dorfes, am Rande einer großen Fläche mit Reisterrassen und einem einmaligen & traumhaften Blick auf den Berg Gunung Agung. Wer von einer Bambus Unterkunft in Asien träumt, wird hier fündig. Die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen: Privater Pool, privater Koch (grandioses und mit viel Liebe zubereitetes Essen. Frühstück inklusive, Lunch & Dinner gegen Gebühr in der Unterkunft mit Kartenzahlung möglich), freundliches Personal, atmosphärische Unterkunft, gemütliches Bett, viele Möglichkeiten zu entspannen und zur Ruhe zu kommen. Gelegentliche vorbei laufende Dorfbewohner sind Teil der Kulisse. Unterkunft liegt sehr abgelegen. Lokaler Transport mit dem Fahrer des Dorfes ist die einzige Möglichkeit dort wegzukommen. Hiesige Fauna schafft laute Nachtgeräuschkulisse, man gewöhnt sich aber daran. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, und können es sehr empfehlen.
L’arrivée a été facile, les hôtes sont réactifs et très gentils. La vue est absolument sublime, se mettre dans le filet et admirer le paysage est un moment incroyable. La villa quant à elle est très jolie, Il y avait de l’eau minérale et un frigo avec des bouteilles a disposition. Le lit est confortable bien que les draps et la moustiquaire mériteraient d’être changées. L’emplacement est peu pratique car le logement est au bout d’une longue ruelle non éclairée et est éloigné de Sideman et de toute activités. La nourriture proposée par l’hôte est très moyenne et devrait être améliorée sachant qu’il n’y a pas beaucoup d’autres options aux alentours. Enfin nous savions qu’il y aurait des bestioles mais la il y en avait partout et surtout dans la piscine où nous avons été piqués plusieurs fois par des sortes de puces d’eau, ce qui a rendu le moment un peu moins magique malheureusement… C’est un logement que l’on conseille pour 1 nuit ou 2, mais le prix semble un petit peu surestimé.
A nice place for isolation from the city, but the insects were very numerous, causing chaos, and the frog lights were very loud.
Great surroundings, super responsive staff. It was well worth the stay. Local restaurant, the only place to get food, was not great and food was tasteless. We were inconveniently woken up by a cockerel around 4 am. We would also recommend chopping off the one palm tree that completely blocks the view of the Mountain.
If you are after a secluded couple of nights in the Balinese mountains then get yourself here! The views are absolutely breathtaking, we honestly could not get over it when we arrived. The treehouse is incredible. Its so luxurious and rustic at the same time, it has such a charm about it. There was a menu available to order from with plenty of choice for both food and drinks. The hosts were really friendly and very responsive. The location is quite far from any restaurants or main tourist areas which is perfect for a romantic couple of days, but if you want to leave the property for food, this probably isn’t the place for you. Although how anyone could want to leave this place, I will never know.

Die Unterkunft liegt inmitten von Reisfeldern und am Rande des Dschungels. Die Unterkunft und der Service des gesamten Teams sind hervorragend. Jeder Wunsch konnte zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllt werden. Das Frühstück und Abendessen werden direkt in die Villa gebracht und können dort in privater Atmosphäre genossen werden. Wichtig sei gesagt: Dadurch, dass die Unterkunft mitten in der Natur liegt, sollte man sich nicht von diversen Tieren abschrecken lassen. Der regelmäßige Besuch von Geckos und Fröschen ist hier ganz normal. Insgesamt eine absolut wunderschöne Unterkunft mit einem gigantischen Ausblick auf den Vulkan Agung.

A truly majestic villa surrounded by nature. The beautiful pool, lush gardens, and stunning farm and mountain views make it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Peaceful, private, and away from the crowds, with nature all around you. A wonderful escape and highly recommended for anyone looking for tranquility and beautiful views.
Meest bijzondere en mooiste locatie ooit. Uitzicht was adembenemend. Je moet niet bang zijn voor gekko’s en kikkers, maar je went er erg snel aan!!! Ook een rijstveldtour gehad, deze was ook super leerzaam en leuk. Kortom: meest bijzondere locatie en uitzicht. Ga het nooit meer vergeten. Ze hadden ook een hele goede taxi geregeld voor ons. Ps: neem oordopjes mee, je slaapt wel in de rijstvelden dus de nachtdiertjes zijn te horen in de nacht.

We had the most glorious stay at this property. The communication was excellent, the staff (Wayan and Made) were so helpful and the scenery just spoke for itself. Taxis were organised to and from the property for us as well as an in house massage and paddy field walk. The included breakfast and available meals were also delicious. I can't recommend this place enough if you want to experience a slice of stunning ecotourism!

Die Villa an den Reisfeldern war absolut toll und entsprach genau den Erwartungen/Bildern. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt. Das Frühstück war lecker. Das bestellte Essen (Dinner/Lunch) auch. Bei Windstille kann man die naheliegende Straße leider laut hören (Scooter). Die Frösche haben uns gar nicht gestört. Nehmt eine Taschenlampe mit und schaut sie Euch an. Auch sehr zu empfehlen: Eine Massage. Von uns kommt eine klare Empfehlung. Preis / Leistung top. Freundlichkeit mega.

Most incredible place we have stayed. Doesn't seem real and gives an authentic Bali experience of the rice fields, Mt Agung and local food. In fact, the photos undersell how stunning the view is. It couldn't be better. Hosts so kind and helpful and the food they made for us was delicious.

A stunning, breathtaking bamboo villa in the middle of a rice field completely secluded, peaceful, and exactly like the photos. Two nights felt like the perfect amount of time. The hosts and staff were incredible: sweet, caring, and super responsive. Breakfast is included (a big plus), you can order food to the villa easily via text and we even had an amazing in-house massage. We truly felt taken care of. A few honest notes and the listing does mention these. You are genuinely part of nature here: insects, frogs, and rice-field wildlife are all around, and it's very noisy all through the night, with the bamboo doing little to block the sound. There's also no real AC (just a weak fan), so be prepared if it's a hot, sunny day. Going in, we expected to feel a bit more sheltered once inside, and didn't. If you know what you're signing up for, it's a really special experience for a short stay.

Juste pour l’endroit, le logement mérite 5 étoiles. C’est impressionnant de voir autant de belle chose depuis la terrasse. Pour ce qui est de l’accueil, de la literie et de la propreté, ça ne peux pas être parfait vu l’endroit mais ça se comprend! Nous conseillons 1 nuit pas forcément plus 😊

Amazing! The place was located at a beautiful location with view of Mount Agung. The host was amazing and always responsive, they even helped us get food delivered at the place even though it was an hour away which was super sweet of them and can’t thank them enough. All in all the place was beautiful and highly recommend if you ever visit East Bali. Just beware of frogs/insects/gecko as they are everywhere especially at night.
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful and very private Airbnb in Bali, perfect for a couples’ getaway. My husband and I absolutely loved every part of it. The host and staff were incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating. We arrived late in the evening, and they were so flexible with our late check-in. On top of that, we were very hungry when we arrived, and without any hesitation they cooked dinner for us around 9:00 PM so the food was ready when we got there. That level of care truly meant so much to us. Everyone was so sweet and helpful, and the place itself was peaceful, cozy, and beautiful. We would 100% stay here again and will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family when they visit Bali. Highly recommend!

Agung’s Nest was our last accommodation for 4 nights after a 3.5-week trip through Papua and Bali—just to unwind and relax (mission accomplished!). It’s exactly as described, the views are simply jaw-dropping and no photo makes justice. The communication with Agus on WA was excellent, the staff are such wonderful souls, the food is excellent (we tried almost all the dishes and highly recommend the Pepes). We also had a massage at the place. All in all the price we paid at the end was more than decent in our opinion taking in mind the location and that everything is delivered to your doorstep. As explained in the description, the fields can be harvested and raining season (December, as in our case) can obscure Mount Agung. But we saw Mount Agung every day, especially in the morning we had clear views. The rice fields were harvested and flooded, but it created a magical mirror effect for the landscape and the volcano. Btw, the frogs keep away the mosquitos. We named some😂❤️
We had a beautiful stay here - so relaxing and calm. The place was exactly as described and as incredible as it looks in the pictures.
This was truly the best stay of my life. The bamboo house is peaceful, beautiful, and completely unique — a little paradise surrounded by nature. But what made it unforgettable was the incredibly warm and loving host family. They took care of everything with so much kindness and made me feel at home from the first moment. The food was exceptional — fresh, delicious, and prepared with genuine care. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all amazing. The massage was wonderful, and the hosts also arranged transport and helped with anything I needed. They left no wish unfulfilled. I would return anytime!

Die Unterkunft war klasse. Man ist privat für sich und mitten in der Natur. Das Personal war auch sehr nett und das servierte Essen war auch sehr lecker. Wirklich zu empfehlen für jeden, den die Natur reizt. Gerne wieder!
Amazing stay at a beautiful quiet location! Perfect to relax
This was the best Airbnb we’ve EVER stayed at! The bamboo house was absolutely beautiful and the view of Mount Agung was breathtaking. I could spend hours taking it in from the net. The hosts were so incredibly kind, at check-in they served us tea and surprised us with a “happy honeymoon” flower arrangement on the bed. The food was delicious. They also assisted us with laundry, and arranged us rides for our spa reservation in Sideman along with our departure to the Nusa Penida port. I wish we had stayed in this area of Bali longer! It was the highlight of our trip. Thank you for a truly incredible experience!

Incroyable ! Moment juste hors du temps , le cadre est exceptionnel face au rizière , le gîte est très propre et très beau dans ce cadre enchanteur . Le personnel est au petit soin , le floating petit déjeuner était incroyable ! Nous qui aimons la nature,nous avons été gâtés , à la nuit tombée , laissez vous porter par la magie de ces lieux en éteignant la lumière en observant depuis le lit suspendu , les lucioles dans une danse incroyable Ce moment restera gravé dans notre mémoire Merci à vous pour ces moments magiques

One of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed. The view of Mt Agung here is something else. Peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature. The food prepared by the hosts was also excellent. Can’t recommend this stay enough.

Dreamy views of the padi field and mountain. More bamboo houses popping out here which may spoil it. Food and staff were great.

wij hebben ontzettend genoten van dit prachtige huis met ontzettend mooi uitzicht! het team stond altijd voor ons klaar en het eten was erg lekker. als verbetering; er zaten wat vlekken in de lakens, gordijnen en handdoeken. verder raden wij deze prachtige villa zeker aan! Je zit erg in de natuur dus je hoort en ziet heel veel dieren. Zo ook in je kamer.. wees daarvan bewust als je boekt! Nogmaals dank voor dit prachtige verblijf en de goede service en zorgen!
Wow this stunning location took my breathe away. The location was truly stunning and peaceful. It looks exactly like the photos if not better and the communication from the host was top tier to help with anything you need they reply in minutes. Good location and plenty of nice restaurants and activities close by. We had the most amazing stay in such a breath taking location. Only negatives was the breakfast wasn’t amazing, or the food and also you need to be prepared for the frogs/gheckos at night. They are big and they stare at you in the dark and they literally jump around in room at night. The first night we didn’t leave the villa and we locked ourselves in the bed due to being scared, however the second night we kept the lights off which didn’t attract as many. For us we wouldn’t relax in the villa at night time but they do pre warn you and I wouldn’t mark them down on this. But just prepare yourself. You do get used to it after one night :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at the bamboo house in Selat was absolutely unforgettable. The home was fully immersed in nature yet had all the bells and whistles you could want for a private getaway. It truly made our honeymoon special in every way. Getting there was a bit of a trek, but that only added to the magic of the place — it felt like our own little hideaway. The views were breathtaking, the weather couldn’t have been better, and the swing quickly became my wife’s favorite spot. The on-site home-cooked meals were another highlight — fresh, delicious, and full of heart. Between the setting, the food, and the peace and quiet, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely come back, and we’ll always remember this stay as one of the most special parts of our honeymoon.

It is a truly magical experience which we can definitely recommend. :) Just be aware that there are many animals around (frogs, insects) which is completely normal as you are directly at the rice fields but if you are a bit scared or get distracted easily it’s good to know in advance. 🙏
We spent 3 nights at Agus Home in Selat and it was an unforgettable experience! 🌿✨ The place was spotless and incredibly well maintained. It was our first time staying in the middle of nature — we had a few fears at the beginning, but it turned out to be so much better than we expected. In fact, we’re already looking forward to doing this again! The food was absolutely delicious, and you must try the grilled tuna — truly amazing! 🐟🔥 One of the best things was that we didn’t have to worry about a thing: our meals were delivered right to our cozy little home every time.
Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable c’était magique, la cabane est parfaite et très bien équipée, la vue est à couper le souffle, les hôtes sont si gentils et très réactifs! Il y a juste des petits bruits de grenouille la nuit mais des boules quies sont fournies, c’est en pleine nature donc c’est normal et c’était écrit dans l’annonce. Je recommande à 100% ce logement, allez-y les yeux fermés! Merci pour tout!

Même lors de notre première journée pluvieuse, l’atmosphère restait magique et envoûtante. Tout est d’une propreté irréprochable, et le lit est d’un confort remarquable. Petit bonus : il est possible de commander des plats traditionnels, savoureux et généreusement servis.
Man hat sich stets wohl gefühlt im Regen wurde das Essen serviert nicht selbstverständlich einfach einzigartiger Service.. die Lage vom Haus ist super komplett in der Natur auch wenn es viel geregnet hatte hatte ich mein Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

My gosh this place is beautiful! A photographer’s dream. Peaceful, scenic, and exactly what you need to unwind from working life. Food and drink all brought to the gorgeous dining area at the villa - local and really yummy. Agus is a great host, very responsive!
Our stay at Agung’s Nest was incredible. It’s beyond picturesque and feels like an adventure. Angus and the team are very caring and super responsive. They made us feel right at home. The location is very remote, but the team helped us rent scooters, which was a perfect way to explore the surrounding areas. The bamboo house is really beautiful - while starting to show its age, it was still really mind blowing. Warning: if you are not comfortable with nature, this place is not for the faint of heart. It’s essentially ultra-luxe glamping. There is a pool and toilet and a wonderful shower, but you are still essentially sleeping surrounded by animals and SOUNDS of animals that feel very close at night. We loved it, and we think you will too!
Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Sidemen :) Das Bambushaus liegt total abgeschieden mitten im Reisfeld und das einzige was man hört ist die pure Natur :) Ja man hört nachts Frösche, allerdings kann man sich Ohropax mitnehmen und dann ist das absolut kein Problem! Die Unterkunft ist sauber und die Gastgeber sehr freundlich! Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen :)

This little bamboo villa is perfectly stunning! We stayed 6 nights and loved every minute. So peaceful being in the middle of rice paddies and local village life. Wonderful frog chorus at night (actually lovely to fall asleep to), and birds and butterflies and vey friendly local dogs. The pool is so nice for cooling off. The staff were great and Angus arranged a scooter rental, rescued us when the rain poured down and we were stuck at a local Warung. He also invited us to his home for a meal and to meet his family. This is the place to walk, explore, read books and disconnect for the busy world. It was a memorable stay.

Alles super, außer die Lautstärke nachts. In den anderen Orten waren es die Roller bzw. Verkehr hier waren es die Tiere :) für eine Nacht trotzdem super, besonders Tagsüber einfach der Hammer
this is the perfect location to calm down. there is literally nothing around except nature. if you want to escape reality this is the perfect space for you! staff is insanely thoughtfull, all in all absolutely stunning.

We had a wonderful experience! The villa looks just as stunning as on the photos. Warm and friendly welcome of the nice staff. Everything was clean. We had some concerns, because of the sorrounding nature, but even if there are some animals aound, they don‘t come close or bother you. We can definitely recommend this place and would come back every time.

This was exactly the place we were searching for — a rare find after staying in many locations in Bali. The view over the rice fields and the volcano was simply breathtaking, offering absolute peace and beauty. The villa was perfectly organized, and everything we could possibly need was already in place. The host and staff were incredibly helpful, going beyond expectations to assist us, even solving last-minute transportation issues and personally picking us up. The value for money was excellent for such a unique and well-managed property. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We absolutely loved it and will definitely return.

The most scenic and authentic airbnb I ever stayed in. The bamboo house is exactly how it’s described, clean, beautiful and peacefully surrounded by rice fields. The house overlooks Agung, which was especially impressive knowing the spiritual meaning of the volcano. Friendly and responsive stuff. P.S. be ready for some natural noise from the outside at night (we used earplugs and they helped) which is completely normal considering the rural location. P.P.S. Make sure to check a nearby restaurant (Asri Dinning), one of the best in Bali.

We had a wonderful stay at Agung Nest – the Airbnb and its surroundings are absolutely beautiful! The place looked exactly as shown in the pictures, and all the amenities listed were provided. Agnus was always available via text if we wanted to order food or needed local recommendations. The food was consistently delicious, and the service was excellent. The property is nestled in the heart of the rice fields, surrounded by nature. We had a great time observing all the frogs, insects, and geckos during the day and night. Thank you for everything! We would definitely consider returning if we visit Bali again!

We considered a few options before booking this place, and were so pleased we pick this one! It’s the perfect spot. If you’re looking for a secluded retreat in this area of Bali then this is the place. We ordered food to the villa on both nights which was good quality and a massage. It’s as good if not better than the photos.
What a wonderful stay.. everything was perfect. The house is just a dream, the view is mind blowing and the hosts are adorable. The communication with Agus was perfect as well. They even had a special attention for my girlfriend’s birthday. I can only recommend !!
We stayed here the last 2 nights of our honeymoon and it was just what we needed. The views are breathtaking and it was a very peaceful end to our trip. The food was delicious, everything was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for those looking for a peaceful and private getaway surrounded by nature.

Okay this is the most beautiful place i have ever stayed at. The villa itself is beautiful, but the surroundings, the view is phenomenal. you will need to get used to seeing frogs and geckos at night, but after the first night we didn't really mind. it's sort of weird when you are not used to it, but it was totally a non issue. good food, easy communications, friendly and attentive staff. all in all 11/10

Magnifique paysage entouré de rizières. Dépaysement, apaisement. Effectivement comme dit dans la description il ne faut pas avoir peur des grenouilles, car à la nuit tombée, elles sont partout. Une chance d'avoir une bonne moustiquaire car elles se mettent également dessus à l'extérieur. La nuit est très bruyante mais cela faut partie du jeux. La nourritureest tres bonne, néanmoins, dessus du mini bar qui a ce prix n'a ni fruit ni alcool. Tous les à-côtés sont payant. un peu chère là nuit mais cela reste un endroit magnifique. Pas de regret, deux nuits pas plus pour nous, les grenouilles ne sont pas mes copines 😊

Super mooi huisje en wat een bijzondere ervaring om eens in een bamboe huisje te slapen zo in de rijstvelden. De service was super, je stuurde de host een Whats App bericht en ze kwamen je lunch, dinner of ontbijt gewoon brengen. De floating breakfast is zeker een aanrader als je dit altijd al eens hebt willen doen, dit is dan de perfecte locatie daarvoor. Let wel op: als je erg bang bent voor insecten, kikkers of andere kleine diertjes dan ga je het hier zwaar krijgen. ‘‘s nachts komen de kikkers in het bamboe huisje en maken ze (hard) geluid. Je zult de hele nacht verschillende geluiden horen die soms erg dichtbij komen, gelukkig slaap je onder een grote klamboe en komen ze niet daadwerkelijk bij je in bed. De steekmuggen vielen ook mee.
Logement très sympathique, conforme à la description. Un cadre idyllique, face aux rizières. Personnel très accueillant et à l’écoute des clients. Malgré notre départ prévu avant 9h, les hôtes nous ont proposé de nous servir le petit déjeuné à 6h.

TOP TOP TOP!! Wie in den Träumen, alles war faszinierend. Das Personal, die Service & die Sauberkeit war atemberaubend. Die Aussicht war einfach zum Genießen. Ich war fast überall unterwegs in Bali und habe in verschiedene Hotels übernachtet, aber dieses Bamboo House war mit Abstand das Beste. Die Aussicht zu die Reisfelder und zum Mount Agung war faszinierend. Bei nächste Bali Reise werde ich mir dieses Bamboo House wieder buchen. Es ist jeden Cent wert. Jeder, der Bali besucht, sollte hier übernachten und die Erfahrung sammeln. Ich empfehle es absolut weiter, weil wir hier wirklich über die Qualität sprechen.

La bamboo house é molto bella, curata nei dettagli, la location é unica nel suo genere con una vista impagabile immersa nelle risaie. Il personale é gentile e soddisfa immediatamente tutte le richieste, anche il cibo era buono.
We had a wonderful stay. The villa is incredibly constructed and made for a peaceful honeymoon spot. The hosts were lovely, but have limited English. Do note that it is very much within nature, and you will have frogs/lizards in your room etc - which we didn’t mind. It’s very noisy with animal sounds and roosters. Construction noise was a bit of a shame, and it’s not as private as it seems with a path right behind you. The rice fields are amazing and the mountain view is phenomenal. It would be great if they added a doorbell so you have warning before staff entering the villa and a bathtub would be a fantastic addition. Food was reasonable price, and enjoyable but mostly late so recommend ordering for an earlier time. I would definitely recommend this villa, for a unique experience. With a few tweaks it would be even more special (for the cost). Thank you!
Super séjour dans la bamboo house d’Agus. L’environnement est vraiment magnifique, une vue sur les rizière et le mont Agung à couper le souffle, au calme, un vrai nid douillet ! Tout y est, la piscine, le charme de la maison naturelle, on est vraiment contents d’avoir passé une nuit dans ce cocon !

Siamo stati una sola notte in questo magnifico e incantevole posto. Personale accogliente e disponibile, ci e’ sembrato di essere in un paradiso di colori , odori, sapori e suoni . Location curata nei minimi dettagli , pulita e spaziosa. Ovvio che al calar del sole piccole rane, gechi o insetti compaiono ma non danno fastidio , ci sta in una location completamente immersa nella natura. Ci torneremo
Absolutely incredible. Almost seemed unreal. I would look at pictures/videos i took on my phone thinking how insane it looks, then look up and see an incredible view. The staff was amazing and super helpful. Friends that saw this place immediately asked me for the link so they could put in their bucket list.

The place is just unreal, the location, the details and the colors of ricefield it’s like to look at a paint. It’s even much better than any picture. The landscape is breathtaking from the morning to the night changing colors at every hour. Basically you don’t want to leave the house to fully enjoy it! U feel the real peaceful Bali at the best. And moreover all the staff is just amazing from the moment you met them. I would come back for sure here and stay few days to fully get all the emotions! All is super clean, and you have all you need! We did not have any problem with animals and the night sounds of frog are just so nice!!! Thank you very much!
Amazing place to spend some quiet time in the nature. Really enjoyed spending time outside and watching the day going. The lovely staff met us when we arrived and led us to the villa where they prepared welcome drinks. We were left to enjoy the beautiful scenery in piece. There was an extensive food menu on very reasonable prices. The food was made to order and served at the villa. There was also a few options offered for breakfast, and again served at the villa. Overall we had great time seeing this peaceful side of Bali.

What an amazing place!! Everyone was very helpful and kind. We didn’t leave the bamboo hut! The food was delivered (which was amazing), we got in house massages, and enjoyed the amazing pool. We loved staying here. It was peaceful, had beautiful views, and it was an escape from the busy areas of Bali. Like others have said, just make sure you are okay with critters of all kinds. If you are then you will be happy with the sounds and interactions with nature. I am so happy we were able to stay at this amazing place and it made my trip to Bali even more special! THANK YOU! Amazing stay
This place is absolutely beautiful. We stayed a couple days and our plan was to just soak it in so we didn't really go sightseeing or anything around. It is a bit remote and one can get a bit tired of the food options unless you have a car and drive to some restaurants around. Personally we did not mind and even though the weather was not in our favour(it rained almost every day) we quite enjoyed just curling up and spending time together. Just beware that the fields are working fields with farmers and children out and about. There was also some construction going on right next to us as a gazebo was being made but the rain made it so that it was not constant. We overall really loved our stay, it was a unique experience!

A wonderful place with an exceptional view on Mount Agung! The house itself is very well designed and looks especially beautiful at nighttime thanks to the awesome light design. The frogs sang great lullabies for us and we slept very well after a fabulous dinner. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night and couldn't participate in any of the activities that were offered. Perhaps next time! ;-)

Overall, it was good! We liked the view and the pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful, offering excellent service. The food was very delicious. However, I wouldn't stay for more than one night because the house is open (even if you close the door), and a lizard entered the bedroom in the middle of the night, along with other flies. If you are fine with this, then this place will be heaven for you!
We spent 4 truly wonderful days in this secluded, stylish and thoughtfully decorated, clean and spacious bamboo villa with hammock, swing and infinity pool. It was the perfect place for us to unwind in the middle of paddy fields after our stay in busy Ubud. You are close to nature with nightly frog concert after wet days and cicada concert after dry days. If you follow the common rules you will not be bothered by the wildlife. From here you can explore Balinese life in remote villages, the bounty of Balinese vegetation, visit Tirta Gangga, Lempuyang Temple (Gate of Heaven), climb up Mt. Agung or enjoy the exquisite food and a cooking class at the outstanding Bali Asli restaurant. Or you can simply stay in the villa and enjoy the beautiful views. Agus and his family are wonderful hosts and he coordinates transfers, breakfast and dinner orders, and massages and he supports you in anything you could wish for. Communication via Whats App was easy and swift. We will definitely return ❤️

Agung’s Nest was the perfect escape. Nestled amongst the rice fields with stunning views of Mount Agung, it was a great place to relax and unwind. The bamboo villa is thoughtfully designed with everything you might need, and the infinity pool was perfect for cooling off. At night, the wildlife comes out to play - be prepared for frogs, geckos, and many other creatures! We saw dragon flies, fireflies, and a variety of other insects. Agus was the perfect host; responsive and helpful, and the staff who cleaned the room and provided food (which was super tasty) were very friendly and kind. We would highly recommend anyone (who doesn’t have a phobia of wildlife) to stay here!

We stayed 1 day @ Kosay Bali and we wish we could have booked for few more days. Mount Agung is the direct view you can see for the bed. This is a magnificent location surrounded by the green paddy field. You have to pick the correct months depending on harvesting to get the best view of the green fields. I lost my drone in the jungle behind, and the staff and the cheff very eagerly engaged helping me to explore through the jungle to find it. I highly appreciate the effort put by Agus, Cheff and the staff early moring that day. The staff is very polite and helpful and I really recommend Staying Kosay Bali more than 1 day. If we visit Bali again, we will definitely come to this beautiful scenic villa again. Thank you Agus, Cheff and Staff again.

I highly recommend staying in this magical place! The house was very clean and has everything you need and beyond. The view from the house is breathtaking from mountain ranges to rice fields and dense jungles. The sunset and sunrise are magical and it's very quiet, only with the soothing and relaxing sounds of nature. Agus is an amazing host and helped us with whatever we needed. The staff was so helpful and kind. Agus was so responsive and helpful with all the questions we had. I highly recommend Kosay! Absolutely worth it 🙏🏼😍. Ps we did the rafting and that was the best!!

I had the most amazing stay! Surrounded by beautiful ricefields and in the morning you will have a stunning view of mount Agung if you’re lucky. It was my first time in a bamboo house and it was really fun! Also there are many things to do in the neighborhood and it’s a beautiful place to relax and calm down. Very private as well. I would love to come back again. Thank you for the lovely stay!

La villa es preciosa y es exactamente como en las fotos. Tiene unas vistas geniales y es muy tranquilo. la cama es muy cómoda. se puede dar un paseo por los arrozales de alrededor. Agus y la familia que nos recibió fueron muy amables Volveremos!
The location and views couldn’t have got any better than this! The house itself was amazing and so unique. Would recommend renting a scooter if you stay here.

Entspannung pur! Ich war für 2 Nächte in dieser wundervollen Unterkunft und kann sie nur empfehlen. Die Lage ist wie beschrieben, wunderschön und sehr ruhig. Der Ausblick ist weltklasse und das Personal ist mehr als freundlich. Sowohl das Essen als auch die gebuchte Massage haben meinen Aufenthalt dann perfekt gemacht. Super geeignet auch für Alleinreisende :) Agus war immer super erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Ich komme gerne nochmal wieder :)
Das Bambushaus ist traumhaft. es ist wunderschön eingerichtet und liebevoll gestaltet. Die Aussicht auf die Reisterrassen ist sensationell 😍 wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden es definitiv weiter empfehlen. Das Haus liegt mitten in der Natur, dass heißt es gibt dort auch kleine Tiere, das sollte man wissen. Der Pool war auch super und die Schaukel haben wir geliebt ! danke 🙏🏼
Place is beautiful because you get direct access of mount agung view in front of you and the green rice terrace. Although we go in wet seasons so it’s cloudy and didn’t get much of the mountain view. But rice terrace is in green stage. I’d recommend to go during dry season to get the mountain view all the way. I like it has hot water as it’s a bit cold during wet season. You also get private pool although we didn’t use it as it was always raining. Breakfast wasn’t that good. And so we always look for food outside for lunch & dinner. I wouldn’t recommend to have silence day (Nyepi) here. The access to Kosay is through a very small street which doesn’t have any lights at night. You also need to be extra careful going to Kosay at night because you would need to use a very dark cliff edge streets. So better checked in during the day.

Staying here was truly an experience. My wife and I came here as part of our honeymoon. We only stayed for one night, but we were really in awe over the place, the surroundings and the view. The bamboo house is really cool. Obviously you're in nature, so you're going to hear nature at night (frogs, crickets, birds, etc). But it's an experience that we found was well worth it. Perfect for a night or two while travelling around Bali. The hospitality of the staff was on point; super friendly people, very pleasant and service minded.
Agus's bamboo is very beautiful!!! The view of Mt Agung is unbeatable!! This is a must stay!!! Wished we stayed longer!!

Although it is an artificially made bamboo house, it has good breathability and no mosquitoes. Moreover, there is a temperature difference on the mountain from night to night, providing a cool and relaxing scenery. I deeply understand: the small buildings in the mountains continue to rain at night, the chirping of insects accompanies the intoxicated local sounds, and ten thousand years are too long to seize the day and night.。The stunning design concept, as well as the respect and meticulous service provided by the staff, make me marvel that this is the best bamboo house。

Wow! What a glorious stay - all I can say is Agus thank you so much for creating such a wonderful place, nestled within the rice terrace's with a backdrop of Mt Agung you really feel like you're in the real Bali! The Bamboo Bungalow is brand new and was absolutley spotless, waking up here was a dream. As a solo female traveler I was a bit aprehensive about staying somewhere so rural but the staff and family made me feel so at home and safe I felt at utter peace staying here. If you are travelling to Bali DO NOT MISS this place! It will make your Bali holiday :)
管家服务非常好，入住竹屋期间我得了bali belly 晚上发烧的时候管家帮忙去镇上买药👍晚上房间里并没有什么蚊子，房间里有定时喷雾装置。手册上推荐的周边瀑布jagasa tru 瀑布非常值得一去，很出片。

A truly hidden gem!!! Nestled amidst the lush greenery, this unique accommodation provided an unparalleled escape into nature. Waking up surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature was a surreal experience creating a connection with the environment. Agus and his team were extremely professional and friendly ensuring every aspect of our stay was delightful. The food was delicious and fresh. They helped us renting a scooter, organizing few tours, laundry and etc. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!!!
нам очень понравилось на бамбуковой вилле Kosay в гостях у Agus. очень красивая местность, невероятный вид на вулкан Агунг. немного не повезло что рисовые террасы не успели вырасти, но это не мешало нам наслаждаться красотой этого места. Сам дом свежий, хорошо продуман, красивый. Ночью рядом просыпается вся живность и начинает петь, надо быть к этому готовыми. Можно вызвать массаж на вилле - очень понравилось. Agus очень доброжелательный хозяин, заботится о своих гостях. Спасибо!!))

Absolut erstaunliche Bambusvilla, mit gigantischem Blick direkt auf den Mount Agung und toller Privatsphäre. Design und Lage der Villa lassen keine Wünsche offen. Agus und sein Team sind sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Beim Essen hätte ich mir etwas mehr Raffinesse gewünscht und beim Frühstück etwas mehr Auswahl, aber das ist bekanntlich ja Geschmacksache.
Had an enchanting weekend at the bamboo nest with my sister. The place is a fairy tale come true—beautiful and cozy. Loved everything about it. Suggesting a touch more variety and a heartier breakfast to enhance the experience. Would love to come back.

We were so lucky to find this place! Agus and the team are friendly, generous, supportive, and proactive. We had to do the early checkout. They prepared us for breakfast boxsets and kindly gave us a reliable recommendation to get to our next stop. Not to mention their friendly service and warm welcome. They make us feel at home here. For the house itself, The place is stunningly beautiful and creatively designed. It is located in a unique view of rice fields and Mount Agung. I love the place where we were surrounded by the local's livelihood and their houses from afar. A recommended place for a luxury bamboo house combined with local vibes and great views!
Gorgeous brand new bamboo villa with absolutely incredible views of Mount Agung and green rice fields. Area is silent and secluded other than the occasional rice farmer - no major construction nearby. Easy communication with host via text and a delicious dinner and breakfast were served in the room. Highly recommend staying here for a beautiful and secluded escape!

Une nuit merveilleuse dans cette petite cabane en bambou au milieu des rizières. Le lieu est très calme et sans vis à vis, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement du lieu. Le personnel est à votre entière disposition pour répondre à vos besoin. Très facile de se faire livrer un dîner local par Agus, il ne suffit que de lui demander, et les prix pratiqués sont très corrects. Je recommande sans hésitation ! 😊
