Exploring Architect’s Beachfront Villa in Kubutambahan left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Architect’s Beachfront Villa in Kubutambahan was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kubutambahan plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Architect’s Beachfront Villa in Kubutambahan painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Very nice villa in a quiet neighbourhood, with incredible views and awesome pool. The home is very spacious and well equipped. Ms Komang is a wonderful cooker and takes care of the space with great attention. Just be mindful that, like a lot of the surroundings in the north of Bali, there can be many flies during the rainy season.
Vriendelijke mensen die je aangenaam ontvangen en je de rest van je verblijf goed verzorgen. Het eten dat de huisdame maakt is ook zeer lekker. Heel mooi uitzicht waar je ook tijdens de maaltijden van kan genieten. Geen vraag is hun te veel. Dit is trouwens zo in heel bali. Met zijn prachtige natuur en zeer vriendelijke mensen. Als het niet zo een lange reistijd was om daar te geraken zou je er wel vaker heen willen gaan.
We had an amazing stay in this Villa. The house personnel was very kind and helpful throughout the stay, the place is very spacious and has an amazing Pool. IT IS Not really suitable for families with toddlers but an amazing place for group of friends and adult family members. I can strongly recommend this place !!!! Super good value for the money!!!
Tolle Villa mit direktem Zugang zum Meer (einschlafen und aufwachen bei Meeresrauschen im oberen Schlafzimmer inklusive :) und super Pool mit guter Wassertemperatur. Highlight ist, dass die Haushälterin Komang für einen kocht, wenn man möchte. Man bezahlt nur die Einkäufe. Sie ist eine super Köchin. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend!! Komang vermittelt auch Fahrer für Tagestouren zu fairen Preisen. Alles in allem ein herrlicher Aufenthalt für ein paar Tage.
Helt fantastik villa. Enda bedre enn bildene. Veldig imøtekommende og hyggelig hushjelp, gartner og vertskap. Her vil vi komme igjen. Likte virkelig denne delen av Bali. Nydelig, fredelig og smilende fjes hvor enn du så.
Amazing place and awesome host….Ms.Komang was also amazing cook with tasty local dishes! For sure stay here!
Mon groupe et moi avons passé un moment mémorable dans cette vila d'architecte. Le cadre est encore plus beau en vrai que sur les photos. Komang et l'autre personnel de maison sont adorables et au petit soin. je recommande vraiment cette escapade si vous êtes dans la region.
Our family had an amazing time at Villa Kembang Kertas- it was everything we could have asked for. The staff was very accommodating and really made our trip a dream come true.

A wonderful location to hear and see the water. Ibu Komang is a wonderful steward of the property and makes sure you are well taken care of.

We absolutely loved our stay at this villa! The space itself was incredibly spacious — perfect for relaxing with a couple of families without ever feeling crowded. One of the highlights was the amazing helper, who not only kept the villa spotless throughout the day but also cooked the most incredible, authentic meals for us. It truly elevated the entire experience. The property is located in a quiet area, surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden that made it feel peaceful and private. It’s about a 40-minute drive to larger towns, which we didn’t mind at all as it added to the charm and tranquility. We also really appreciated the fresh linens being changed every couple of days — such a thoughtful touch that made it feel like a luxury stay. The beach access was another standout — a stunning black sand beach with a sandy seabed, making it perfect for swimming. Overall, an unforgettable stay. We would absolutely come back!

We had a lovely stay at Villa Kembang Kertas! The stay was so good we didn’t want to leave and explore the surroundings! Komang was amazing and a very good host! Komang and Kedek cooked us amazing meals and Arik was also very helpful. They were very helpful in organising day trips for us to the local surrounds, and could also organise the rental of scooters locally. We will definitely be back, if ever we come back to Bali! And we’ll be recommending Villa Kembang Kertas to all our friends! Cheers!

We had a wonderful stay at this villa! It’s located in a remote and peaceful area, perfect for anyone looking to relax and disconnect. Since there aren’t many food places nearby, our host Komang offered her cooking services — and she was absolutely amazing. Every meal she prepared was delicious, thoughtful, and honestly one of the highlights of our stay. We happily paid her extra for her cooking, and it was worth every bit. Komang’s hospitality made our experience truly special. Highly recommend this villa if you’re looking for a quiet retreat with a host who goes above and beyond!
An unforgettable stay in paradise! This villa exceeded all our expectations. Having a private access to the ocean felt absolutely magical — enjoying breakfast with the sea view is something we will never forget. The staff made our stay truly special: a wonderful lady cooked delicious meals for us every day, and a very kind gentleman took care of everything from fixing small things to keeping the pool crystal clean. On top of that, we tried the massage at the villa, which was relaxing and surprisingly good. If you’re looking for a place that combines privacy, comfort, amazing service, and the feeling of being in your own little paradise — this is the villa. We left with full hearts and will definitely come back
A lovely place in a very relaxing enjoyable location, with great support from the team locally. A nice break from the hussle and bustle of other parts of the island. Loved our stay here right by the beach
La maison est superbe, peut être un rafraîchissement à prévoir mais rien ne gâche le séjour. La vue est magnifique, nous avons eu le droit de prendre le petit déjeuner en compagnie des dauphins au large. Le personnel est top . Toujours serviable. Cuisine de bon repas. Si j’avais pu j’aurais prolongé mon séjour! Attention toutefois, pour repartir il n’y a pas tjs grab !.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa. Le cadre est magnifique; avec les pieds dans l’eau. Nous avons passé d’excellents moments dans la piscine. Nos hôtes ont été aux petits soins avec nous; arrangeant des excursions, des transports, et nous préparant des repas que nous n’oublierons pas. Une excellente adresse; que nous recommandons avec enthousiasme.
Wat een mooie locatie, echt geweldig. Zeer privé. Iedere morgen hadden we ontbijt en ‘s avonds werd er super lekker voor ons gekookt. We hadden zo het gevoel dat we in een hotel zaten. Heel fijn om zo vakantie te vieren.
Ini tempat tinggal ternyaman selama liburan tahun ini yang kami lakukan. Mereka sangat menyambut dan membantu kami dalam berbagai apapun itu, kami sangat senang dengan villa ini bersih, tepi laut dan kami hanya membuka pintu langsung pemandangan laut yg indah.. pengalaman yg tak terlupakan dan kami akan kembali lagi suatu saat nanti ke villa kembang kertas dengan cerita yg berbeda..
We were on the lookout for a peaceful place for a group of 9 people including parents and a toddler. So glad we chanced upon this magical villa. From the get go, this exceptionally beautiful place surpassed our expectations. The massive size, breathtaking view of the sea and most importantly the extremely friendly staff and host. Everything was just perfect and made for the perfect start for our visit to Bali. I’d give 11 out of 10 stars to this place if I could. Only regret is we didn’t stay for a longer time here :) Would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat away from the touristy attractions and hustle bustle of the city
Bu Komang is the best and accomodate us well.we are feeling homey and comfy when we stay at villa. She’s cooked delicious food for us (we are enjoy every morning breakfast and fish barbecue at night). She also help us to arrange dolphin tour. Villa have beautiful panoramic and straightly to beachfront.But we’re a lil a bit confused with 2nd floor room design, it isn’t suitable for group especially if they’re bring elder or children under 5yo.Overall we are really enjoy this villa and make us want to stay all day long.

geweldig, ruim huis, ontzettend behulpzame en vriendelijke mensen, heerlijk eten, prachtig uitzicht. voor kleine kinderen minder geschikt vanwege de trappen binnen maar vooral vanwege de tuin zonder afscheiding en een betonnen strand 10 meter lager! Zwembad fijn maar erg groot verschil tussen diep en ondiep. we hebben genoten van het heerlijke eten van Comang en alle hulp, vriendelijke Arik. prachtige omgeving met veel bezienswaardigheden. aanrader voor iedereen zonder kleine kinderen!
Unglaublich schöne Villa mit einem tollen Meeresausblick. Man hat dort seine Ruhe und seinen Privaten Pool und Strand. Es wird täglich sauber gemacht und die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder.
The villa was perfect for the 4 of us wanting a relaxing week. Komang the housekeeper was an absolute saint and was able to cater to our every need (including when my drone landed on top of a palm tree and we needed someone to climb it). Would definitely recommend for a similar sized group of friends/couples in need of a wind down, away from the usual bustle of Bali’s tourist crowds.
Recently, we were forced to quickly search for an alternative accommodation due to leaks and mold in our original villa. Fortunately, we discovered this beautiful villa, and what a stroke of luck it was! The villa is situated in a quiet location, right by the sea, which was perfect for us. The view from the villa was breathtaking. The interior of the villa is stylishly decorated and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The clean and fresh atmosphere in the villa was a welcome change after the troubles we experienced at our previous place. The host was extremely helpful and made sure our transition went as smoothly as possible. We can definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a beautiful seaside getaway.
De villa was nog mooier dan op de foto’s! Groot zwembad, en een prachtige tuin met waanzinnig uitzicht over de zee. We bleven ons verbazen over dit paradijsje en gaan hier nog heel lang aan terug denken. Komang heeft ons goed verzorgd. Ze heeft ons eten heerlijk gekookt en ons met veel dingen geholpen. We hebben een trip naar Lovina gemaakt en voor de rest heerlijk genoten van de vila, tuin en uitzicht!
我们是家庭出游，在这里住了四天，其中有一天是我女儿的两岁生日，我准备了食材请管家komang帮我做午饭，午饭不仅漂亮而且美味，还给我的女儿准备了蛋糕，十分惊喜，园丁也送了一个玩偶，真的很感动。在这里你可以尽情享受假期，你无需担心这里是否离餐厅的远近，因为管家会帮你准备好早中晚餐。这里的迷人之处绝对在于它的安静、宁静，也在于草坪和海的相得益彰，更在于管家们无微不至的服务，路途略微遥远，但一定不虚此行。
Perfect place for a family reunion from the hustle and traffic of Bali and those looking for serene experience and direct beach access with sunrise view. The house has plenty of room for 9 of us and can easily accommodate more people comfortably. The bungalow near the pool is a plus for those looking for additional privacy. There are some warung nearby for Babi Guling and seafood bbq that are nice and local so don’t expect restaurants. Komang and her team are very welcoming and helpful through out our stay. She cooked us nice breakfast and dinner. We went to Lovina which is under an hour drive to swim with dolphin and scuba diving in Amed which is just over an hour drive. The gunung Agung Savannah was on the way to Amed. Truly enjoy our stay and be back if in the area. A gem if you’re looking for relaxing stay.

Komang and her team made this trip for us, their care and service was second to none. I wanted to take them home with me! The cooking was INSANITY good. Komang cooked mostly Indonesian food; which we were a bit worried about. But it was all delicious and so nice to experience the local food. We requested a couple of “western” meals which were also spot on. Komang helped organised (our lives) day trips, transfers, food, drinks, massages, haircuts, nails and literally anything we asked for. All arranged to come to us at the villa when we liked. We also had a driver for the time, he was organised by Komang and was fantastic. The villa itself was as pictured, stunning. Great layout for a big family or multiple couples. We all had our own space and never felt on top of each other; but could come together in the common areas. The pool was amazing, super deep at one end and shallow at the other. We will be back for sure, the reviews just don’t do it justice.
The location of this beautiful villa is great with a private beach right in front, nice deep pool, morning sun, responsive team and for the price we paid ... is definitely a 5 stars. Some suggestions we had - Improve or do upkeep on some of the aircon, the common toilet. - If the main hall have aircon and TV system will be super. (instead of now is on 2nd floor). Generally 10 of us are very happy with the 4 days stay in this villa. Special thanks from us to the team that take very good care of us ; Ms Komang, Ms Kadek, and Arik the gardener. Both the sister cooked very well especially the durian pancake ( we bought the durian and not able to finish, they help to made into pan cake).... was so nicely made. Will come back again if we visit Lovina again.
This was such a fun stay!!! Right on the beach and an amazing pool — we didn’t want to leave! We loved Ibu and she was very helpful to us. We had to order food and couldnt find any restaurants less than 30 mins away which was the only downside.
We loved our stay at Kembang's place. The views are incredible, and the pool was very well maintained. We cannot say enough about the house helper, Ibu Komang. Her cooking and cleaning are absolutely fabulous! The cost was very reasonable, and we would definitely consider coming back in the future. Highly recommended. The one heads-up I would give would be that the staircases were not very kid-friendly, nor was the retaining wall by the beach. The owner did let me know that they hadn't finished putting up safety measures for the staircases, so he communicated well, but it did cause a bit of concern throughout our stay. The precarious nature of the staircases prevented us from using the upstairs bedrooms, but we were still comfortable overall.
Definitely hilite of our family stay is the Food! Miss Komang really a great cook. We want to come back just for the food. The view is great, we have many great family photos in the back yard. The beach is swimable. I really hope I have more time so that I can enjoy every little thing thing villa offered.
Fantastic stay @ Kembang. The villa is in a very secluded place along Bali’s North coast and yet it’s close to all the key attractions that you want to visit in this area, including the famous dolphins at Lovina. The villa is beautiful designed with all the necessities that you can dream of and a wonderful on-site crew. What’s most magical are the sunrises and sunsets on the villa’s very own private beach.
Villa Kembang Kertas is versatile enough for big families (like us) to soak in the sun, sand, sea, and everything in between, for honeymooners looking to hide away in a little slice of paradise, or for individuals seeking peace and recluse. In terms of practicality the villa has pretty much everything going right. From homely meals (the housekeeper is a wonderful cook) to fresh coconuts, on-call masseuses, direct access to the beach (with kayaks provided), and a pool big enough for everyone to spend endless time in, the only thing you really have to do is sit back and enjoy your days. I recommend sunsets on the day bed that overlooks the sea; the view is amazing and it's incredibly calming. The journey to get to the villa is long, but entirely worth it. If you're travelling with kids, there are strategic stops along the way if you need them. The hosts are well-versed in the areas around the villa; they were a pleasure to speak with and made our stay highly memorable.
Paradise. Yes, I’m not exaggerating. When my family and I arrived, we were instantly in awe with how majestic-looking the villa was from the outside. It was incredible. What we initially saw from the photos on airbnb’s website, was exactly what we saw with our own eyes. We were wonderfully greeted by Komang, who was the caretaker of the house. She was so polite and welcoming and ensured we settled in well. And her cooking was superbly delicious! Authentic indonesian cuisine. We had lunch and dinner at the outdoor dining table, enjoying the cool sea breeze. I even had second servings ! The furnishing of the villa was well thought off by the owners too ! Everything was simply well-placed and pleasing to the eyes. My kids loved the swimming pool. Mind you, it had a “extra deep” section of the pool, and that only meant countless somersaults and diving into the pool ! I wished we could have stayed longer. We’ll return back here for sure! Thank you for this beautiful experience!
