Exploring Authentic Villa 5 minutes Walk to Double Six Beach left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Authentic Villa 5 minutes Walk to Double Six Beach was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Seminyak plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Authentic Villa 5 minutes Walk to Double Six Beach painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
Nice villa but a bit pricey Pros: - beautiful and well decorated - location, near busy streets with restaurants and beach. But the nice bit is that the villa sits in a quiet kind of pedestrian area so away from the streets buzz - staff (2 people) welcome you, clean the villa daily and prepare simple breakfast (toast, coffee) - transfer. Owner booked two taxis to pick us up and take us to the airport Cons: - it is a 4 bedroom villa + extra room on the terrace. Whilst the room is ok, most guests won’t feel like staying in the garden in a small room with just a toilet - price. The villa is advertised and therefore priced as a 5 bedroom villa. Given it felt more like a 4 + 1, it feels the price was maybe in the high end versus other 4 bedroom villas
We had a nice stay at Villa Varuna, the staff were amazing and nothing was too hard for them. Having breakfast cooked for us every day was a real treat. The location is absolutely perfect, restaurants, massage, shops and beach all in walking distance.
This place was amazing and with a soul. There was positive energy all around. Host was great and the helpers Dewa was outstanding. Location was great and place was really quite and we felt like we were locals. Would surely recommend this place to others. A detailed booklet giving brief description of villa and place around would have been very helpful with all useful information related to villa and the city. I am sure the host would take my suggestion and surely do it.
This Villa is amazing and I would definitely recommend anyone stay here. Just as the photos show. Centrally located and close to Double Six, it comfortably sleeps up to 10 ppl in 5 bedrooms. Onsite staff were fantastic, with a cooked breakfast daily as well as helping us visit a local doctor & visit a police station to report lost goods; as well as keeping the Villa in a very clean condition. Would definitely stay here again. 5 Star
Wow Wow Wow Such a beautiful property. So private and secure. The pool was used everyday morning and night by the children. The decorating was amazing, very unique. The staff Daya and Mira were so amazing I cannot say enough to praise them. We asked if they would show the kids how to make offerings. Daya went to the extreme for them, she was so happy to show how to make things from her culture. What beautiful people. They made our breakfast most days and it was delicious. Right near some lovely restaurants and about a 10 min walk to the beach. I recommend this property for your stay in Seminyak. The house is kept immaculately clean by the staff.
Heerlijke villa met hele fijne mensen die helpen met ontbijt, schoonmaken, vervoer regelen etc. Het huis is prima, mooi zwembad, fijne tuin en vlakbij het strand en heel veel restaurantjes en winkels. Gedurende ons verblijf werd het huis ernaast verbouwd. Dominique had dat tevoren gemeld maar de overlast viel heel erg mee (geen grote kranen of machines maar handmatig werkende bouwvakkers).
My family had a fantastic stay - the kids had so much fun using the pool. The location was also great - just a short walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. The villa and rooms looked exactly like the photos. Dominique’s team onsite were also very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
This place was amazing! Excellent location within walking distance to some great shopping areas, restaurants and the beach. The perfect balance location wise. It also felt nice and quiet and private despite the great location. The rooms and bathrooms are huge, clean and the beds are so comfortable. The best part of our stay though was Dayu and other staff! Dayu was incredible, nothing was ever too much to ask and she made us feel so welcome and comfortable while doing such an incredible job of keeping our villa spotlessly clean and cooking us amazing food. Stay for the awesome villa and location but you’ll love it for Dayu and other staff that you get to meet along the way

Our family had the pleasure of staying at Dominique’s villa. The special attention to details with antique furnishings created a soulful atmosphere setting it apart from other villas. We loved the space, each bedroom was generous in size with high ceilings and large en suite bathrooms. The villa had plenty of seating both around the dining table and in the living area for guests. The location was perfect, a short walk away from the beach and restaurants. The villa felt like a private and quiet oasis, noticeably more peaceful with less ambient noise than most other places we have stayed in Bali. Dominique’s communication was exemplary. She checked in regularly to make sure we were satisfied and was warm and welcoming in her communication. Dayu and Ayu kept the villa clean and tidy and were extremely hospitable in their calm and respectful way. We highly recommend Dominique’s villa especially for a larger group who are looking for space and privacy in an excellent location.
A very special place. An oasis of calm in the middle of busy Legian/seminyak. We loved everything about it. The staff were lovely and did such a great job of cleaning and cooking breakfast. (You just pay them for the groceries) Easy to get gojek’s if you just walk out to Sugar Rays. Our favourite restaurant was Santorini, gorgeous Greek food and so cheap! We couldn’t have asked for a better Villa. Loved it!
The house was exactly as described and shown in the photos—an absolute gem! Surprisingly beautiful, cozy, and so tastefully decorated and well kept. Dominique’s initial availability and arrangements made everything super easy for us. And to top it off, the care from her team—whose names I’m sorry I do not know to write them—was just wonderful, making us feel truly special and have a very comfortable stay. A big thank you to Dominique and her wonderful team!
Lovely stay at the Villa. We were a party of 7 with 3 being teenagers. Villa worked perfect for our group. Lots of space, spacious bathrooms and loved having the pool. Would highly recommend.
Amazing! Very affordable private paradise.
The host was responsive, and the villa manager was helpful, but the true standouts were the villa butlers—absolutely exceptional in every way. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made our stay incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend negotiating price to have breakfast included each morning, as this isn’t part of the standard package. With 8 adults and 2 children, the butlers went above and beyond to prepare a delicious, tailored breakfast that quickly became the highlight of our day. We tried dining out but found that nothing compared to the quality and care of the butlers’ meals. They truly made our large family stay feel like home. We would definitely stay again.
Absolutely stunning villa loved the location down the lanes away from the traffic but within walking distance to restaurants shops and beach. We were with a large group of 9 teenagers and adults, felt very safe and relaxed. Thanks so much for your hospitality and for being so kind and helpful.
Best villa ever!
Amazing Villa in a fantastic location. This Villa is about a 10min walk to actual Legian Beach (less if you sneak through Jayakarta)! It is right in the middle of lots of great restaurants, massages, and shops. It is positioned in a little gang, can be hard to find, so best to rely on the wonderful staff to show you. Once you know…. It is extremely easy. We found on our own by using the front door picture from the photos. Would def consider returning, we love Bali, and this location along Legian Beach is our favourite area to be in.
Amazing find in Seminyak, that easily accommodated the 9 guests, every couple had their own private space and we all had a great communal space. We could easily taxi, scooter or walk to any where we needed. The villa is minutes from the beach, shopping and entertainment. Villa staff are fantastic and helpful. As this was a special occasion we were able to have a private catered dinner at the villa that was floorless. We would recommend Villa Varuna and look forward to returning at a later date.
Villa Varuna is a beautiful Balinese villa, a sanctuary in the centre of a lively area of Bali and only a few minutes walk to the beach. We were welcomed by the warm house staff- Gina and Ayu - who saw to our every culinary need (including an amazing Indonesian Christmas lunch!) and kept the house clean and tidy. The thoughtful configuration of the villa and expansive space meant that we were able to enjoy both indoor and outdoor living. We spent hours relaxing by or in the pool. The villa is very private and secure and the immediate neighbourhood is incredibly quiet. Dominique is a wonderful host - super responsive and helpful in recommending great local restaurants, surfing schools and day trips. We had an amazing time, thank you so much!
Love! Love! Love the villa it was amazing. So peaceful and quiet. We had 8 of us and there is so much room its perfect. Gina Eka and Dewa are beautiful people they made you feel so comfortable. Nothing was a hassle at all. Bedrooms and bathrooms are so big lots of room and the open living downstairs is perfect, and the pool is a good size. The photos are exactly the same as it looks. Dominique was so good to deal with and very responsive once again nothing was a hassle. Would totally recommend this villa, and definitely coming back to stay.
Perfectly appointed villa in the middle of bustling Double Six - huge comfy rooms and amazing decor, expertly decorated and plenty of space. Pool was lovely, outdoor space was lovely, safe and secure and outstanding staff! They even bought me flowers for my birthday!!!! They take care of all your needs and are so respectful of your space. The home is tranquil and spacious yet outside steps away is the beach, shops and restaurants galore. Pool table and the BEST massage chair ever. Loved staying here!!!! (Note: we took a private driver from Sanur and we had some trouble finding the place as it’s down an alley no cars allowed but it looks like a road on phone map. Best bet is to call the staff and they’ll help or park by GOAT and walk from there if you need an easy point of reference)
We brought an extended family of 3 generations for an 80th birthday celebration, so the expectations were high. Yet, we were all sad to leave, because we had a wonderful time. The villa is grand yet cosy. It has a rustic charm, with a lot of space and greenery. There are plenty of spots to gather, including a beautiful poolside gazebo. The kids loved the pool. It is a peaceful oasis, hidden along a pretty path. At the same time, you can reach a concentration of shops, restaurants, and bars, within a 2 min walk. The beach is fantastic, and less than a 10 min walk away. The best part of the villa is the staff. Gina, Dewa, Eka, and Adek, took such great care of us, from cleaning and cooking (3 breakfasts and an extravagant birthday dinner), as well as arranging for a birthday cake, massages, and basic supplies. We were moved by their warmth. We highly recommend this villa, and hope to return.
Dominique's communication was excellent. Nothing was too much effort and all messages were dealt with promptly. I cannot say enough positive things about the host! Due to work commitments, I needed to return home so asked Dominique for a (much) earlier check in time, which was quickly granted. The staff at the villa were amazing - always smiling and always happy to answer our questions and requests. The villa itself is stunning. You can quickly appreciate the attention to detail that has been given to many aspects - the furniture and fixtures are beautifully presented and a lot of thought has been put into these areas. As this is not a new build, you cannot expect modern luxuries such as double glazing etc so do expect some outside noise. The location of the villa is not accessible from the main road, so you need to be prepared to carry your luggage through the quaint alley that accesses the villa, albeit with help from the superb staff! We will definitely be back!
The villa is beautifully design and conveniently located. Gina and Eka helped us with anything we needed. It was a wonderful stay.
My immediate and extended family stayed for 5 nights and we had an incredible time. Dominique was proactive and responsiveness was n the lead up for some special requests and then followed up throughout our stay to ensure everything was going well. The villa is perfectly featured with kitchen items, entertainment and comfortable beds. Thank you again ! ❤️
We were two families with teenagers. We had a absolutely amazing week. Dominique was amazing to deal with and the staff were amazing !!! The villa was in a great location close to restaurants and walk to the beach. The villa had everything you could want! We loved playing pool and the pool was the perfect size with lots of seating. Gina and her staff made the holiday! We had a cooked breakfast everyday and Gina always had a smile! I would definitely recommend this villa!!!
We cannot recommend Villa Varuna highly enough! It is a beautiful oasis on the border of Legian and Seminyak which provides easy access to beaches, restaurants, bars, and shopping. Dominique was a super helpful host and very responsive to any queries we had. Her team - Gina, Dewa, Eka, and Adit - were super lovely, friendly, helpful and did a wonderful job of looking after us and the villa during our stay. Her recommended driver, Joe, was also a legend, sorting out our airport transfers and day trips seamlessly and he was such a lovely person to travel around with. They made everything so easy and made us feel at home. The villa itself was very well appointed with all the amenities you need for an easy stay. We were a group of 7 adults and 2 young children and we had plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the villa. The pool was a beautiful spot to cool down in at any time of the day. Thank you everyone for making our trip so easy and memorable! Merci beaucoup and terima kasih!
Had a wonderful 5 night stay here. There were 8 of us and more than enough space. Very large airy rooms with AC. Lovely staff came in every day to clean. Pool was great too. It was just like the photos.
We loved our week at Villa Veruna. Easily walkable to beach, shops and restaurants yet peaceful and private. The villa staff looked after us beautifully and the host was super accommodating. The villa itself is spacious and perfect for a relaxing, tropical holiday. Highly recommended.
What an awesome stay! The Villa is a special oasis, a truly private and quiet retreat set apart from the busy streets of Seminyak. Upon arriving you will coordinate meeting with Dewa, who is absolutely fantastic, and he and the staff will guide you down little laneways (which are a treat in themselves with special character) and through a gated entrance. Beyond the gates your sanctuary awaits! Absolutely fantastic house, very cool vibe and beautiful decorations, plus the most wonderfully kind and helpful staff. Great breakfast and fab laundry service as well. Seriously highly recommend!! Very easy to get grabs from the hotel in front as well! If you come to Seminyak this is your spot for authentic Balinese vibes with the best hosts. Suksma! ❤️
We had a lovely stay, easy to communicate with and we were well looked after. Pool table was a massive bonus for us.

Villa is full of charm and comfortable. Location is great, close to anything you’d need/want to do. Dewa, our villa manager, and his team are very responsive and easy to work with. They are accessible even in the middle of the night and respond very quickly to address an electricity issue. And the same treatment was experienced throughout our stay. We were very well taken care of.
Our stay at Villa Varuna Sept/Oct 2022 was excellent, great position walking distance to the beach, close to many shops and restaurants etc, our host Dominique really went out of her way to accommodate us with our flight delays and cancelations that were a post COVID fallout with many airlines. Her staff at the villa excellent and could not do enough for us, loved our stay at this Villa, recommending it without hesitation.
La villa est très belle, grande, très bien décorée et très bien placée ( à quelques minutes à pied de la plage, des restaurants et de mini marts), tout en étant très calme. Dominique est très réactive. Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour !
Dominique’s villa was simply amazing every detail for our stay was taken care of. The staff in the villa were so friendly and made our stay so special. Our stay was two families travelling to celebrate my wife and my 30th wedding anniversary. On the day Gina our house keeper and Wira the villa manager arrived with flowers. I can’t fault this little piece of paradise with an incredible location. We will return. Amazing place

Perfect place for a big group! We were a group of 9 adults and 2 kids who stayed here for 4 nights. Everything from pick up at the airport, check in was done with perfection and great care. Gina and Wira are gems who go above and beyond to take care of you and most importantly do it with a smile. There was nothing we could have asked for that wasn't provided. They go about their work in a very quiet way and genuinely seem happy to be there and host you. This was probably one of the best Airbnb experience we could have hoped for. We sorely miss it already and can't wait to be back !
晚上入住时都凌晨一点多了，房东还安排了人在巷口出来接我们，非常贴心！别墅装修很简约大气，使用非常方便。印尼保姆的早餐很可口，服务态度很好！下次还会来入住。
I don’t even know where to start my praise about this amazing villa. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Location is close to restaurants, shops, nightlife and the beach yet the villa is private and without any noise. The staff was so helpful and took care of all our needs. Super responsive and warm - we all felt like part of the family. The staff also helped organise my birthday at the villa. The rooms are large with comfy beds, super nice bathrooms. Overall highly recommended with a 5 Star ++++
I don't know where to begin. My friends and I spent a week at Dominique home and it was the best week of our lives. We spelt like Queens in a palace. The home is clean, spacious, open, cooled, decorated and peaceful. It is located in the center of Semiyak/Legion which is great for shopping, eating and the beach!!!! The staff onsite went above and beyond and this is hands down the best airbnb experience I have ever had. When I come back to Bali, even if I come alone, I would definitely stay here again. Wow, wow, wow!!! What a treat :)
We had an amazing 3 night stay at Dominique's villa and loved every moment of it. Dominique's villa had everything a perfect holiday place should. Right from arranging pick-up from the airport to a seamless check-in process, Dominique had arranged for everything. Wira, the house manger and Gina were extremely welcoming and arranged food and beer for us after a tiring journey because of a delayed flight. The house was clean and had everything that a traveler would require. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay for longer and enjoy the villa a little more. Thank you to Dominique and the excellent team at Villa Varuna. We hope to come back again.

Villa Varuna is in a fantastic location, and a very short walk to Double Six Beach. The communication with both Dominique and Wira (the Villa Manager) was excellent. When we arrived from Lembongan, Wira was in communication with our driver to ensure he knew where to drop us. The villa is very clean and is a great size and is perfect for a couple of families. The photos on the internet are accurate. Bintang Supermarket is a very easy walk from the villa. Our kids loved playing in the pool and the garden area is a lovely, peaceful place to relax. I hope we will be able to stay here again and would definitely recommend this villa.

The Villa was in such a great position but still very safe and quiet. Both housekeeping staff Wira and Gina were excellent with meeting us and settling us in. Gina made us a local breakfast each morning and both her Wira were fabulous to deal with and helpful hints about the area. There is a laundry within 2 minutes walking, which is a big plus for our large group. This was our first trip to Bali and couldn’t fault the stay. We will be back and highly recommend the Villa.
Highly recommended! Friendly Staff who are eager to assist with anything you need and great recommendations to help you enjoy your stay. Wira and Gena are absolutely amazing! They have great friendly Balinese energy and swiftly keep house without being in your face but also still available to your every need. They recommended drivers, laundry, massage, those little things you don’t plan for your trip, everything that eased us from having to research the best value for us so we could focus on the fun stuff. The location is perfect for big groups who want to spend time together but may also want to be able to walk off and do other things in smaller groups. Close to taxi services, the cheapest Legian markets and many nice restaurants. Perfect position if you want to drive to Uluwatu, but also Ubud, Nusa Penida but also Canggu and of course a stones throw to Seminyak. Finally the Villa is very comfortable with 5 airconditioned rooms, 4 with FULL en-suite bathrooms, and rich in entertainment and gathering areas. The photos just don’t do the Villa justice. One thing that is important to me is good bedding/linens and Villa Varunas comfort does not disappoint. Our group of 10 loved this Villa. Upon organising this Villa some were hesitant but I insisted. Upon arrival they were so so thankful to me for finding this Gem. Don’t think twice and Book! We cannot wait to come back!
Villa Varuna was the perfect place to celebrate mums 60th! The lovely warm design made us feel right at home and it was so nice to have both comfortable communal areas and relaxing private spaces located throughout the Villa. Dominique and her team were wonderful and made us feel very special from our initial booking till be moment we left. Would definitely recommend and already looking forward to our next visit!!
The hospitality provided by the house staff Pak Wira and Gina was amazing. They'll go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable. The house is located on a smaller alley off the main road. No issue getting into the house at all when we first got there. Pak Wira greeted us and made sure we were good. We stayed for a week. The place was perfect for a group of 10. A lot of open space to hangout in, the bedrooms were spacious as well. The pictures provided are pretty accurate of what the house looked like. But the pool is even better in person. We all had an amazing time and will be back in the future. Thank you!

This place is really magical. First is the staff. We have stayed in a few villas in bali and this is the most friendly and responsive staff we have come across. Polite and helpful, I cant say enough about them. The villa itself is fantastic for a group. Close to all the action but back off the street so its quiet inside. Really a great experience and I cant reccomend it highly enough.
We just spent 7 nights with a party of 6 people! What a stunning Villa, the photos looked amazing but when you walk through gates it’s breathtaking! Double the size it looks, massive bedrooms & bathrooms, beautiful pool and great location! Great communication with Dominique and the staff are lovely! Will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at this villa. Beautiful private setting. Wira and Gina we're amazing hosts a bonus was that they lit insect repellent candles morning and night and even came in on their day off to do it. Would recommend to others
My family of 8 spent a week at this beautiful home and couldn't have been happier! We all thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the outdoor spaces. The bedrooms were comfortable and the well needed air conditioners worked very well. The house is centrally located and you can easily walk to many restaurants and bars. The beach is also fairly close. The house staff, Geena and Wira, did a great job! We enjoyed getting to know them and we all appreciated their great service!
We spent 8 nights at the villa for my mother's 60th. Everyone loved it. The bedrooms and bathrooms were big and comfortable. The staff were great, very accommodating and trustworthy. We would definitely stay there again.
There are too many things to praise about throughout our stay at this Villa. Let's start with the team Wira, Dewa, and Gena who served us breakfast and do all the cleaning everyday. They are warm, friendly, and very patient with us. Wira accommodated all our need at the best he can. Dewa and Gena prepared us delicious breakfast on our demand (Dewa made the best coffee and Gena cooked the best bacon!) The Villa is way beyond expectation. It's beautifully decorated and clean. It is primely located in seminyak with less then 10 minutes walk to the beach and to the busy tourist shopping and restaurants area, but yet it's also hidden in an aisle that it's a bit distanced from the busy traffic of the main road. Therefore, the villa is quiet and exotic for retreating yet fun and relaxing for family gathering. Wira also arranged a driver, Joe, to pick us up. Joe then became our driver most of the time during our stay (on our own expense). I have to say, he went above and beyond to help us during the trip. He personally delivered my 84 yr old mother's birthday cake without our request. We felt so overwhelmed with all these Balinese's hospitality. This Villa made our family reunion a great memory and we are already talking about coming back.
Nous avons passé 17 jours à la Villa Varuna et cela a été magnifique : lorsque nous sommes arrivés nous avons eu le plaisir de découvrir une maison encore plus belle que sur les photos, une décoration raffinée, des pièces très spacieuses, salles de bain immenses, une literie de grande qualité , un jardin et une piscine très agréables. Le personnel est adorable, chaleureux, disponible et très efficace. La plage à 10 minutes à pieds et les restaurants à 5 minutes .... les spas et autres magasins très proches.... Nous étions 10 adultes et un enfant de 4 ans, cette Villa est idéale pour passer d'excellentes vacances.

Beautiful villa, close to beach, shopping, and restaurants. Excellent staff, communication, very high end, well kept property. Lovely oasis amongst the busy Seminyak area.
Our family of 11 have just returned from a weeks stay at this villa. There were 6 adults and 5 kids ranging in age from 9-2. We hired a pool fence for around an extra $150 which made it a lot safer for our kids. The villa has a bit of a steep staircase to the 3 upstairs bedrooms so if you have a toddler it might pay to get a safety gate for the bottom of the stairs. Staff were attentive and lovely. The villa and pool were very clean. Location wise it was awesome! The villa itself is very quiet apart from the scooters zipping down the narrow laneway. It didn't bother us though. There was always filtered hot and cold water available. And correspondence with Dominique the owner of the villa was spot on. We would definitely stay here again if we travelled as a group.
We have returned from a nine day stay at Villa Varuna - nine guests in total. The villa was beautiful with fabulous furnishings, garden and pool. Quiet and very clean. The villa accommodated us very comfortably with glamorous bathrooms for each bedroom. The staff, Wirra, Dewa , Gina and Gede were so professional and lovely and made our stay all the more fantastic. Our day would start with a swim and a cooked breakfast – luxury! Location is excellent – lanes leading to great restaurants, cafes, spas and shops. We would love to go back again!! Thank you to all.
We had an amazing time at Villa Varuna it was everything we had hoped for. The Villa is centrally located near restaurants,beaches and shopping. A huge thank you to the staff especially Dewa who went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met.The breakfast was delicious and the Villa kept immaculate. Just spent 7 wonderful nights at the beautiful Villa Varuna, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Dominique was always quick to respond to all correspondence prior to our arrival, and even had the staff organise groceries and scooters for us on our arrival. The 4 staff, Wira, Dewa, Iffence, and Gede attended to our every need with genuine enthusiasm, and we wanted for nothing. The villa itself is fabulous. Large bedrooms, huge verandah, great living area, and a fabulous pool all made for a wonderful stay. Our 13 year old son really enjoyed the privacy of the "5th bedroom" or bungalow. Only 100m to JL Padma Utara and its restaurants and shops, and an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. Can't say enough about the place and would highly recommend staying here. A good villa next to 66 beach. Many pubs and restaurants in the neighborhood. Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere there.
We have just spent a week in the beautiful Villa Varuna. Dominique and her staff make sure your stay with them is as comfortable as you can be. Making sure your every need is seen to. Like everyone that has stayed at Villa Varuna, we too feel the photos don't do it any justice. The villa was immaculately clean when we arrived. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious and the gardens around the pool area are magnificent. The balcony and living areas are very open with plenty of room for you to all move around. There is air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout the whole villa and the wifi service is better than I get back home. Thanks again Dominique and to your wonderful staff for taking such good care of us. We had a fantastic holiday and I have no problem recommending your villa for future travelers wanting to stay in the Legian/Seminyak area.
We just returned home after a 10 day stay in this amazing villa. Every part of the experience starting from the first communication with Dominique to being dropped off at the airport has been exemplary. We were a group of 8 & there was plenty of room & the bungalow was adorable. When we walked through the gate the first time, we all gasped as the villa is even more beautiful than the photos. The place is spotless, the staff friendly & so very helpful. Nothing was too hard for them. Breakfast served every morning, the drivers available to take us places & the villa fully stocked with everything you need. I can honestly say that this was the most opulent & beautiful place I've ever stayed at while still having a comfortable family home feeling. I highly recommend this villa. We were a group of 9 - two families with 5 kids aged 10-15 between us. The accommodation worked really well and it was roomy for all. The drivers, Dewa making breakfast and helping out generally, Wira cleaning and security all enhanced our experience wonderfully. Coming down stairs to a welcome offer of coffee or tea as breakfast was prepared was such a great way to start each day. Everyone was more than happy to help make our stay such a positive one. We had dinner in two nights and Made the chef did an outstanding job. So thankful our first Bali and Airbnb experience was such a perfect one. Thank you!!
It was just PERFECT! Dominique was so friendly and nice and explained us about everything. The location...just perfect ... very closed to the beach and shops , restaurants..how can I describe it... this place is so wonderful and perfect for our trip . Very friendly staff ( Thanks for everything ) cleaned everyday , made us coffee and fresh fruits . All rooms are air-conditioned and we hadn't any 'Bug or Mosquito problem' The pool was so clean and really nice to relax after hard surfing afternoon. This place made our trip more beautiful we will always remember Dominique's wonderful house as THE Air BnB House in Bali.
Villa Varuna was simply amazing! The pictures don't do the villa justice. The place as spacious and clean and perfect for the 2 couples and 3 singles in our party. The location was a bit far from the main strip in Seminyak but we were staying there for a wedding in Cocoon Beach Club so it was perfect for us. Wira and the staff there was very helpful and accommodating, the late night security even offered to pick us up some Maccas after a late night out. Also, our plane was delayed 2 hours on arrival and they waited to welcome us and show us around the villa. Dominique was a lovely host and a pleasure to deal with both before and during our stay. I would recommend Villa Varuna to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
Great place, spacious and clean rooms. Fantastic music system and crystal clear pool. What made our stay even more enjoyable was immediate responses to our queries by Dominique and sheer dedication of her crew at the villa towards guest service. My kids refused to vacate the villa and wanted to stay there for ever. The cook over there prepared the best banana pancakes I have ever eaten. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Bali.
This is unquestionably one of the best places I've ever stayed in 30 years of travel from backpacking to luxury travel. Its traditional, beautiful, squeaky clean, quiet and the staff are the most gorgeous kindhearted and efficient individuals. The cook learned all of our names, plus kids, the ten of us on day one. If I was to fault it I'd say the pillows are a little too thick for my liking but I'm seriously clutching at straws. It's a little out of the way, south from Seminyak central but that also means you can get a bargain in all the local shops and spas and the centre is a short scooter ride or taxi away. Loved it! The breakfast is simple and tasty and nothing is too much trouble for the owner or staff.
We had such an amazing stay at villa Varuna. The house is gorgeous, spacious and fully equipped. Dominique was a pleasure to deal with, and the staff at the villa were beyond amazing - so kind, helpful, friendly, and amazing with our children. I definitely recommend this villa !
Wow ... This Villa was amazing ! This was our first experience staying in a Villa in Bali & it was fantastic... We were 2 families (4 adults & 5 children). We arrived late at night & got picked up at the airport & taken to the Villa. On walking through the the gate we were so impressed. Made (the cook) was very friendly & came in each morning to cook us breakfast & on the last night in the Villa cooked us up an Indonesian Banquet... Yum yum ! Wiri ( House Manager ) was great, checking to make sure everything was all ok .... It was also great having a 'local' to answer any of our questions. He even organised for us to have massages at the Villa & our girls to have their hair braided around the pool ! We had a few questions before we left home & Dominique was great to deal with, always answering emails quickly, we also got the chance to meet her which was great... The Villa was extremely well kept & cleaned. It was in a fantastic location, very quiet not far from restaurants, local shops & only a short walk to the beach ! Having your own pool to yourselves was also a real bonus. We loved Villa Varuna & would definately recommend it !!!!
Dominique arranged for our pickup from the airport, her drivers were on time and very polite. The villa was even more beautiful in person than pictures on listing, we couldn't have been happier with the accomodations! The house was extremely clean, the rooms were immaculate, it had the feel of a resort with daily cleaning service. We loved some of the artwork in the villa, yet we couldn't reach the local artist because he was on religious holiday. Dominique went above and beyond and sold us some of his art from her private collection...she is amazing! The villa is walking distance to the beach and in a great neighborhood. We felt safe walking the neighborhood, even at night. We are planning to return to the villa in a couple of years, loved it!
The villa is even better then you see on the pictures. Nice spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms (4 out of the total of 5 rooms). Lovely saltwater pool. You will find yourself in a very quit and peaceful place, just a short stroll from the beach, restaurants and shops. Wira (manager) and Made (cook) will look after you in a way you would look after your own guests. Dominique is a lovely host and responds to all your questions in just a short time. She came to check on us when a power breakdown in Legian occurred. Will def stay again when going to Bali
Wow what an amazing villa! From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty, the security, staff and cook Maddy were all amazing and really added value to our stay! We were lucky enough to meet Dominique who was very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone! Thank you for having us!

I didn't want to leave! We had a fantastic weekend at the villa celebrating a family members birthday. Dominique and the rest of the staff at the villa were brilliant. The villa was the perfect place to relax. It was in a convenient location and the staff were great. We can not thank you enough for making our trip so great and look forward to returning.
Dominique was in constant contact with us throughout our stay, ensuring it was perfect in every way. She even sent me some delivery recommendations for restaurants when I realised I couldn't leave the villa as my kids were asleep and I had no food in! the villa is better than the pictures and, in addition, Made, the lady who makes breakfast is absolutely heavenly. She was so kind to myself and my 2 little boys. If you want to be in Legian/Seminyak then I cannot recommend Varuna enough. I really can't think of anything to improve the experience.
Stayed in this amazing villa for 4 days and 3 nights with family and friends. Had a great time. Very friendly staff, good location, very neatly maintained. Had a great time in the salt water pool. Looking forward to go back to Bali and stay at the same place again.
AMAZING!!!!!! this villa is amazing in every aspect, from the staff, to the owner, to the location, to the design and aesthetic of the villa itself!!! can not recommend enough! Dominique was so helpful in the lead up to our trip answering numerous questions and queries with speed and manner, we were lucky enough to meet her and she was just as lovely in person! One night we had the cook (made) make us an authentic balinese dinner which was nothing short of delicious. The villa was even more exceptional in person then in the photos- the pool was large and there was so much space and seating around for everyone to enjoy! If you are looking for a villa look no further, I strongly recommend!
Dominque was a fantastic host. She was available at all times to answer any questions we had about the villa. She was extremely helpful and her staff Wira and Made went above and beyond to make us feel welcome for our stay in Bali. Everything about the property was perfect and the villa looks exactly like it does in the photos. The salt water pool was amazing and the huge rooms were always tidy and cool to escape from the humid climate. The wifi internet was also super fast and reliable, and the Bose sound system was awesome. Made's breakfast and our Indonesian dinner feast on the final night was a highlight of the trip. The villa is located a short walk to shops and restaurants and only a few minutes walk to 66 beach. Dominique also arranged pick up and drop off to the airport for us and gave us access to 2 great drivers Edi and Wayan which allowed us to have very memorable day trips to Ubud and Uluwatu. Thank you so much Dominique! Hopefully we can come back soon and enjoy your beautiful place again. One of the best AirBNB experiences I've had!

We had an amazing 5 night stay at Dominique's awesome 5 bed Seminyak villa! Only a five minute walk from Double Six beach through small streets filled with shops, restaurants, and bars, the location was great for a quieter stay. The staff - particularly Madi and Wira, were amazing in looking after us, especially Madi's cooking on our final night! There is some construction going on nearby (which started around 8am each morning, finishing around 5pm) but this ended up being a plus for us - something to force us out of bed fairly early, ready to explore beautiful Bali. Thanks so much for hosting us!
We checked in to Villa Varuna to celebrate a really special birthday in our family. We had a delightful week and couldn't have asked for better. The villa staff were kind, warm and helpful. Made, the cook, returned one evening to prepare an amazing Balinese meal for us, it was delicious. Beautifully appointed villa, elegantly designed and decorated, and the pool is fantastic. Further away from the heart of Seminyak than we'd hoped but we were so spoilt at the villa we often enjoyed staying in. We'll definitely return! Dominique and her team are wonderful.
Dominique provided very professional, clear communication and answered any questions very promptly. The location of the villa is excellent, a 400m walk to the Double Six Arjuna beach which is very flat and safe for children, and excellent for surf lessons. The villa is also only 10 mins walk from the Bintang Supermarket in Seminyak. There are plenty of great inexpensive restaurant options within 5 mins walk of the villa.
The Villa was amazing! Everything about it is so nice. Great positioning right in the middle of everything. Staff were awesome, all so friendly and helpful. Lily cooked for us every morning and brought amazing local treats every time! Security were very nice and fun people too. Will definitely stay here again.
Dominique was in France during our stay but her staff was amazing! They picked us up from the airport for a great stay. We stayed there with 7 people but there is more then enough room for 10 adults. Place is beautifull and Lily the cook served a lovely breakfast each morning. I would love to stay here again, we loved it. It also was my 30th bday, Dominique arranged a nice bottle of sparkling wine and the whole place was filled with balloons. I can go on for days. It was AWESOME! Thanks everybody at Villa Varuna!
We stayed for one week and we enjoyed every day. The villa has a will tastes style and comfortable beds. The location isn't far from the sea. Wira and lily helped us in every thing, from the breakfast to finding the perfect place to visit. The kitchen was ready with every thing we need from the fruit, vegetables,pasta,rice soft drinks.... Ets. We used the amenities in the kitchen and cooked our meals. The stuff cleaned the villa and make it super tidy and clean. My kids loved the swimming pool which was with sea water. The security in the villa is really comforting because we had a man watching us 24/7

We stayed at Villa Veruna for ten days - two families of four adults and six children - July 2015. The villa is beautiful and centrally located in Legian just a short walk to the beach and many dinner options. With the small separate bungalow by the pool we were easily accommodated. The beds are all very comfortable and the linen is of high quality with provision of fresh sheets every day. Airconditioning in all the bedrooms along with ceiling fans ensured our comfort. There is a fully equipped kitchen on hand, tv with dvd player and great mounted speakers for music if you desire. The staff on hand to look after us were all wonderful, particularly Wira and the lovely Lilly. Lilly spoilt us with beautiful home made treats at several breakfasts such as corn fritters and amazing banana fritters with brown sugar which were gobbled up by us all. The gardens are beautifully maintained and the saltwater pool was a welcome respite from heavily chlorinated pools at other locations. Dominique is a communicative and caring host who was so very gracious and helpful during a stressful time due to volcanic ash delaying flights. The wifi access is excellent and consistent even with so many people using it in the house. We would most certainly recommend the villa as an oasis in the hubbub and thank Dominique for her prompt communications and a lovely, warm and very welcoming atmosphere. Que dire si ce n'est PARADIS ! Nous étions 10 amis à avoir réservé cette magnifique villa durant 8 jours au mois de juin 2015. Lorsque les portes se sont ouvertes nous sommes tous restés ébahis devant ce petit coin de paradis. Le style est épuré et les meubles de style balinais donnent à cette villa un charme fou. Toute les chambres de la maison sont pleines de charmes et sont équipées d'une salle de bain splendide. La piscine, les plantes autour, le salon ouvert sur la terrasse n'appellent qu'au bien être, à la détente et à vivre des moments magiques. Si en plus de ce coin de paradis, vous rajoutez Wira, Lilly et Vance, alors vous pouvez être assurés de passer des vacances rêvées. Wira nous a accueilli en nous expliquant qu'il était là que ces vacances restent à jamais gravés. Il a plus que réussi à atteindre cet objectif. D'une gentillesse, d'un accueil et d'un sourire toujours présents, Wira et son équipe (Lilly à la cuisine pour le petit déjeuner et Vance pour le jardin) nous ont vraiment permis de passer l'une des plus belles semaine de vacances de notre vie. La villa est située à 5 min (à peine) à pied de la Double Six, plage parfaite pour le surf ,la baignade et le couché de soleil. Kuta pour les soirées endiablées se situe à 10-15 min en taxi. Des restaurants de toutes sortes et des bars sont à quelques minutes à pied mais le recul de la maison permet de rester au calme. Je tiens à remercier Dominique pour tous les conseils apportés, pour sa gentillesse et surtout pour nous avoir permis à tous de passer ces vacances inoubliables.
Everything about our stay at Villa Varuna was simply amazing. From the moment you step through the front gates you enter a luxurious sanctuary. The villa is brand new and in immaculate condition. The tropical garden frame the pool and paved courtyard which leads up to the enormous open living villa which is filled with traditional Balinese furniture. The lovely Dominique (owner) greeted us on arrival and gave us a rundown on everything in the villa and the local area. We also met Wira (host) and Vance (gardener), both lovely and always there to assist with anything we needed. We have a family of six and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. There is a master bedroom with massive ensuite downstairs that walks straight out to the courtyard/pool. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, each with their own ensuite (also massive). Our two older children had a bedroom to themselves and our two youngest shared a twin room. There are also two baths in the villa which is great for little children. Each morning we had Lilly and Wira cook us a beautiful breakfast in the villas kitchen which Dominque organised for us. All we had to do was supply the food. The villa is located in a quiet laneway in Seminyak. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk away (there is a cut through lane way between the larger resorts) and there are many eateries and other services nearby. We’d certainly come back again!
