Exploring Bamboo Turtle Ecolodge river view 5km Ubud center left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Bamboo Turtle Ecolodge river view 5km Ubud center was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kecamatan Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Bamboo Turtle Ecolodge river view 5km Ubud center painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

第一晚洗澡洗一半水变冷了…简直崩溃！ 半夜十二点洗了一个冷水澡。 后面工作人员有积极沟通，算还可以。树屋和周边环境很舒服，但是整体感觉性价比不高。

Bel endroit mais rempli de moustiques, c’est attendu vu la présence de l’eau mais un peu dérangeant pour profiter de l’extérieur. La chambre et la salle de bain sont propres mais odeur d’humidité assez forte malgré la Clim. L’ensemble semble vieillissant. Wifi de très mauvaise qualité n’ayant pas permis l’utilisation d’internet dans notre chambre. Mention spéciale pour l’accueil et le pancake à la banane. L’endroit est paisible et ravissant.

The staff were so lovely, accommodating and do go above and beyond. The location isn’t ideal though if you enjoy exploring by foot and having things at your doorstep. There’s really nothing in the area. Room was smaller than expected. We loved the mosquito net, lived our princess fantasy dreams. The pool area was not like the photos. Not very inviting. This may have been because of rainy season but just want to mention it.

Beautiful location. Wayan is a great host and helped hugely with anything we needed. The views are beautiful and the area quite peaceful. The free breakfast was lovely and Wayan let us use her phone when needed which was lovely. Gave 4 stars (not 5) as there was a little bit of rubbish down by the water and had some minor trouble with the electrics one evening. Neither element spoiled our experience at all and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for having us.

I had a wonderful stay at this bamboo house. The surroundings are beautiful, and the design of the house is great. The service was very attentive, and I was particularly impressed with the open-concept bathroom and the bath products provided. The only downside was a slight odor from the bedding, but overall, I was very satisfied with my stay

The Bamboo Turtle Ecolodge was a wonderful place to spend some days relaxing. Built by a river you could hear the sound of the flowing water while chilling by the pool, or on the hammock at the veranda. Only 15 min by scooter away from Ubud. Every detail is well thought. The co-host, Ms Wayan, along with the staff were very kind, friendly and helpful with every one of our requests. Overall I'd recommend the place.

We had a great stay, the treehouses are amazing and look amazing. It's a really beautiful place and our host was really helpful during our stay. There is not much to do nearby so you want to take a taxi to Ubud if you want to go somewhere.

Amazing time! Really helpful staff that provided a lot of useful information. Despite there being a few other houses, it felt very private and quiet. Location was beautiful but a bit outta town so there might be a lot of back and forth journeys if you plan to stay here for a lil while. Would have liked more breakfast options but this isn’t a big deal. Overall, it’s really good value for money if you’re a foreigner so you won’t be disappointed if you plan on exploring the areas around ubud for a few days.

Sound healing for the ears. I really enjoyed the villa, thank you for the opportunity to stay with you. It's quiet, peaceful, and very nice in the rain. Delicious breakfast, clean, and the staff were very attentive. We were happy to be here.

We loved our stay here! It was so peaceful and truly felt like an oasis in the rainforest. The host and staff were all extremely helpful and allowed flexibility with both our check in and check out time. It is a little away from the main city area of Ubud (about 15-20 minutes via scooter) but we were looking for a place that felt more remote and peaceful and this was exactly that. Breakfast was delicious and they have 24/7 access to filtered water for drinking. We were also able to rent scooters right on site and when we had a concern with the wheel on the first scooter they quickly accommodated and provided a different scooter from a local rental place. The bathroom is partially outdoors and given how immersed in nature the property is there are of course some bugs and frogs as expected but it really added to the gorgeous nature feel of the property. The balcony also had a hammock which was so relaxing. Definitely recommend!

Cozy treehouses nested in lush green tropical jungle next to a river. The jungle is acutally way more beautiful than you see on the pictures. Some friendly cats and dog coming to visit. It's a perfect place for children. Also Wayan is the soul of the place. 🩷 & they got a very funny driver.

Place is very clean and surrounded by the beautiful trees and river . Easy to find . Staff are friendly , helpful. Breakfast is very tasty.

Wir haben uns bei Wayan und ihrem Team sehr wohl gefühlt. Man wird nicht wie ein Gast, sondern wie ein Freund behandelt. Alle waren immer sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Nach Ubud City sind es knapp 18-20 Minuten mit einem Grab Taxi. Das würde ich jedem empfehlen, da der Verkehr dort sehr hektisch ist. Umso schöner ist dann die ruhige und grüne Unterkunft. Mit einem herrlichen Blick in den kleinen Dschungel und auf den Fluss.

This lodge is perfectly situated just outside of the heart of Ubud. Scooters, helmets, and everything else you could want is available or easily arranged by the helpful staff. We really enjoyed the tranquility- as soon as you stepped on to this property there was no city noice or traffic to be heard- just the sound of rushing water and nature itself. We also really enjoyed Miss Wayans special juice served with breakfast- and the warmth / big smile we were greeted with by Ina each morning. A really incredible staff, we would stay again just to be hosted by them!

My partner and I had such a wonderful experience! The resort, staff, food, services and location were all incredible! We were away from the city and the resort was quiet, calm and peaceful. We were only about 15-20 minutes from the city and finding taxis on the app was very easy to do. We traveled a very long way to get there and the resort and staff exceeded all our expectations! If we ever return to Bali, we will most defiantly stay there!

Nel bagno sopra nel tetto potresti trovare dei simpatici tokek che sono utilissimi a tenere lontani gli insetti e non disturbano affatto perché rimangono sempre sul tetto :)

Wir haben uns sau wohlgefühlt! Wir lieben die Natur und die Ruhe, das bekommt hier zu 100%. Der einzige Nachteil, zu den Stoßzeiten ist man gut und gerne länger als eine Stunde bis ins Zentrum unterwegs. Da kann man aber zu Zeiten fahren wo weniger los ist. Auch fussläufig gab es tolle Restaurants, mit traditioneller Küche. Wer also nicht jeden Tag in den Stadttrubel will und entspannen mag in der Natur ist hier genau richtig. Der Tokeh ruft, der Fluss rauscht, der Tausendfüssler duscht mit einem, wir fanden das einmalig gut. Vor allem wurde hier soweit wie möglich auf Plastik verzichtet, es gab eine Sickergrube, ökologisch nachhaltige Bausweise. Das Frühstück war auch super, super nette Leute, Wäsche waschen für kleines Geld. Hervorragende Massagen zum kleinen Preis. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 😎 können es jetzt schon kaum erwarten 🥰

Absolutely beautiful place with amazing staff! The sound of the river from the balcony, surrounded by forest and wildlife, was so serene. Each morning they delivered a traditional Balinese breakfast, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s about 15–20 minutes from shopping areas, so a great balance of peaceful and convenient. I highly recommend the spa—I got two treatments a day and left completely relaxed. The bikes didn’t have phone holders at first, but they had added them by the time I left—super thoughtful! A couple tips: bring earplugs, as wild dogs can be loud at night (common across Bali), and streaming Netflix on a laptop didn’t work for me, though phone service was solid. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing retreat, this place is a gem!

A very beautiful, serene, atmospheric place with unique accommodation amidst the rain versus greenery within reasonable distance from all the sights in Ubud and surrounds. The staff are lovely and super helpful.

This place was beyond words! Wayan and the staff provided the best and most accommodating service from the moment we arrived. They were so kind and caring, it really felt like home. Their breakfast was also amazing. The place itself exceeded all expectations, much more beautiful than even the pictures. It felt like the perfect jungle hideaway with all the amenities one would need, while being perfectly nestled in the jungle. It was soo peaceful! Would highly recommend the Ecolodge, it was our favourite stay in Bali!

Treehouse in the rain forest what a dream we stayed! We absolutely loved the stay and the view was amazing. The breakfast provided was outstanding and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We had a very late arrival and there was not any problem checking into the stay. Def recommend!

Séjour incroyable au sein de la jungle, vraie expérience ! Même si la cabane est située en pleine nature balinaise la chambre est très propre et nous n’avons pas eu de moustiques. Et en plus l’équipe est super ! Compter 20-30 minutes pour aller au centre d’Ubud

This place was amazing! There was so much attention to detail and care for the environment. The staff were all so welcoming and kind, and the place was BEAUTIFUL! We wished we could extend our stay. We highly recommend coming here. The provided breakfasts were a nice touch that were SO good too!

This place was such a peaceful little escape. If you're looking to slow down and connect with nature, it doesn’t get much better. We had a private massage right outside our villa, surrounded by trees and the sounds of nature. Super relaxing and worth it! Breakfast was delicious every morning, and Wayan and the whole staff were so kind and helpful. You can also book private or group yoga sessions, which was a really nice touch. They also offer laundry services. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled stay. 15-20 minutes south of the hustle and bustle of Ubud/Monkey Forest/Yoga Barn.

Staying at the Bamboo Turtle Ecolodge was a wonderful experience! Wayan, Inna & the whole team made me feel right at home - at such a cool place. The breakfasts are amazing, all the workers are very responsive and eager to help, & the views of nature are breath-taking.

Wayan and her staff were wonderful. My room was gorgeous with a great view of the river. It was beautiful waking up to the sounds of nature in the mornings. The Balinese breakfast was superb. Anton was a great help the whole time I was there. Whether it was carrying my luggage or giving me a ride to town on his motorbike. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend it.

We really liked staying in the Bamboo Turtle Ecolodge. The location is a bit outside of Ubud, which makes it peaceful and connected to nature. The houses are beautiful and have all amenities needed. The staff is very nice and helpful. We got served super tasty breakfast every morning and also received support on logistics (transfer from airport and scooter rental). Overall, we would definitely come back.

A rare find and dreamy stay in Bali. It’s away from busy Ubud centre yet accessible by a short drive. The rooms and the pool face a river which was a perfect setting to unwind and relax. Felt like staying inside a rain forest. Not to forget the huge hammock in every room that could easy fit two of us. Wayan and Ina were absolutely delightful hosts. They were very helpful with the bikes, laundry and setting up massage appointments.

Ein wunderschöner Ort zum entspannen , mitten in der Natur an einem Fluss gelegen .. umgeben von Schmetterlingen und Vogelgezwitscher.. und vielen anderen Tieren , die man von der Terrasse beobachten konnte.. Der Service ist hier ausgezeichnet.. man hat sich direkt wohl gefühlt.. 🥰

The stay was absolutely wonderful. Wayan gave us a warm welcome, giving us all information on breakfast, yoga and massages before leading us to our room. Though the photos were beautiful the room was even more surreal. The bathroom is a dream, the bedroom is well decorated and furnished with all we needed and the balcony, just wow! Everything exceeded expectations and we had no problem with mosquitoes or bugs whilst in the room, just closing the door as soon as we enter. They also provide bug spray for you in each room. The breakfast was delicious and the Balinese was particularly lovely. We would stay here a million times over if given the chance, luxury immersed in nature whilst being hosted by such a kind and generous person.

We the most magical stay at bamboo turtle ecolodge! Our host was so lovely & sweet, she made us feel right at home! They were very responsive and helpful to us the entire time and always went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. The lodging is tucked back in the amazing, peaceful forest of Bali. You truly get to be emerged in the beautiful nature here. Despite being in the jungle, our place was extremely clean and tidy! The tree hut was so unique and such a fun place to stay! This is a piece of paradise. We booked 3 nights, stayed 5. The rooms are gorgeous, and waking up to the sounds of nature and the river was just magical. The staff were all so friendly too, thanks to Wayan and your team. It was easy enough to get in and out of Ubud (you need a scooter or use drivers, we used Grab and it was great, around 50K to get into Ubud, and 80K to get back at night, 3 - 5 euro). Our only regret is that there is so much to do around Ubud, that we didn't get to spend one full day just relaxing here. We did a massage at the resort that they organised which was also magic having a massage outside in nature (you can have it in your room too), highly recommend this. All together, incredible stay and we LOVED Ubud. Hope to be back. Only note: you are in the jungle, so expect nature ;) to be fair, even though it was the rainy season, there weren't as many insects or mosquitos around as we'd thought there would be.

A true Oasis nestled along the beautiful river and rich flora/fruits orchard setting. A hidden gem. Very suitable for those who want solitude, and an atmosphere to do deep work. HIGHLY recommended. Wayan & Ena are amazing!

Amazing place!!

We had such a relaxing time at the Bamboo Turtle Ecolodge! The accomodation was exactly like we expected, immersed in the jungle and we really enjoyed having peaceful moments on the balcony with a fresh juice or balinese coffee. The staff was super nice, friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Wayan for being so responsive and organizing Yoga, Massage and Restaurant reservation for us. Breakfast options were delicious. The only downside to the accomodation is that there are not many good restaurant options in walking distance so we ended up always going to the same one called „Eka Wood“, which was great. The street leading there is not very walkfriendly as half of it doesn‘t have any sidewalks but it‘s okay. If you don‘t have a scooter, driver Ketut living next door is your best man to take you anywhere for sightseeing or restaurants and it was very easy to communicate with him over the phone. All in all, would totally recommend this accomadation!

I have to say this place is a Gem 💎 It’s what we wanted to experience in Bali. An experience of being with nature and enclosure at the same time. The pool was amazing to swim in and to top it off you have an incredible view of the stream as your front view. The tree house was clean and restroom was great. The restroom gives you the experience of having to be outside but in a safe and clean environment. Because this is in the “ forest” to say …. There is noises you will hear all day and night, noises like birds, cicadas. Overall we loved the place. They offered us breakfast every morning. We choose a Balinese dish that was delicious. This location is also close to near by waterfalls, coffee tastings and temples, all within car or motorbike distances. If you’re staying in Ubud definitely check this place out.

A tranquil and serene setup to enjoy Ubud from. Staff were pleasant, breakfasts were delicious… Even had a massage on site. Great spot to stay.

great accommodation in very beautiful jungle-like surroundings! we observed interesting animals there (beautiful butterflies and colorful birds, asian water monitors in the river and gekkos), nevertheless you can sometimes hear for example chickens from the properties in the neighborhood. But it is a quite and very calm place over all. we especially liked the friendliness of the team. the standard of facilities and attention to detail is wonderful and the service is of a very high standard. the breakfast was good and there are possibilities to eat nearby (eka Wood was Great). Water that is safe to drink is provided free of charge. the turtles are well built so you feel safe and not too much of the nature comes inside. we were a little bothered by dogs coming onto the property at night. i think they are peaceful but i personally still preferred to be in the building then. Pool was great and we appreciated the extra pool towels! We liked this accommodation and can highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic time in our cozy villa! Our accommodations were nestled in the jungle, with a gorgeous view of the pool and river below. The sounds of the jungle and local prayer made our experience extra special. The food was great and we got daily massages right outside the villa. But far and away the most wonderful part was the care we received from our hostess, Wayan, and our tour guide, Ketut. Wayan's food was delectable and her hospitality unmatched. Ketut escorted us all over Bali with generosity and a great sense of humor. They made us feel like friends! Highly recommended!

Great location, beautiful jungle view, nice and quiet. Breakfast was yummy 🤩 Wayan (the host there) is very friendly and helpful. She even let us check in earlier and stay a little longer on our last day, which was really nice and made the arrival and departure much easier for us ☺️ The massage there was lovely and very relaxing! Wayan also rents out scooters. When you rent one it’s very easy to get to Ubud center! Overall: 100% recommendation!

To get around to nice shops and restaurants in Ubud, we found a scooter or taxi is required. Bathroom and showers were great. Very very peaceful. Highly highly recommend.

Excellent, my favourite holiday stay so far. The area was so quiet yet felt very safe; the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The accommodation itself was beautiful - very clean, secure. There are not many guests in the whole lodge (just 5 villas) so it felt extremely private. Amazing value for money, we will be coming back here. Highly highly recommend!

Jungle tree house of my dreams! Loved our stay so much. The staff were super friendly and the included breakfast was delicious. The pool is refreshing and the view of the river was so relaxing. With paradise always come a catch, which is the mosquitos, however there is natural repellent given which smelled nice. Highly recommend if you're looking for a getaway in nature out of the hustle & bustle of Central Ubud.

We had the best time here! The bungalow is very local and pretty, surrounded by nature, make you feel relaxed right away. Love the bed, super comfy, everyday we fall asleep in the sound of river flow and woke up with the birds singing. Super helpful and professional staff, would recommend to anyone!

THIS PLACE IS A MUST STAY! The entire scenery was beautiful, it reminded me of a resort stay I previously stayed at in Costa Rica. The environment was lush, private, and you could hear nature sounds at night. you could see the jungle from the beautiful windows. The connected bathroom felt like it was outdoor but it was clean, safe, and beautiful. We had a delicious breakfast everyday with the best beverages. The pool looked out in the river and I recorded a video that made others jealous! The whole stay is like a dream vacation home. The entire staff was extremely kind and helpful. Wayan, the host, also gave me tips on where to shop including a place right across the street where only local Balinese people go to and I got a bunch of great sarongs and jewelry. They were so helpful they kept our bags for us when we arrived early and again when we wanted to stay in the area later than check out. I wish I stayed for an even longer time!

Amazing treehouse hotel! Would highly recommend for eco living experience. The Baliease breakfast was a real highlight. We also experienced a massage outside with nature noises- which was out of this world. The lake was very relaxing and we did some yoga by the lke in the morning!

Good place, everyone was super friendly and helpful, we felt welcomed. Room was kept clean every day, after two days bedsheets were changed. The only thing, it smelled a bit dumb, but after two days it was ok. Breakfast was tasty. There also a cat living around accommodation, who is nice and a lively dog that visited couple of times. It’s very important for me to see how well staff treated animals and it was great and therapeutic to communicate with them. Thank you!

This place was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was delicious every morning, the massages were fantastic, the driving service was extremely friendly and flexible and the lodge was everything we could have hoped for. We stayed 4 night and tried to extend after experiencing the place but alas, it was fully booked as you’d expect from a gem like this. We will absolutely be staying here again. Wayan and the staff were absolutely amazing and Ketut and his driving service was spectacular. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice. Thank you all again for having us. 🙏

Great place in the middle of the jungle. If you would like to try living in a forest in a Bamboo house by the river, this is a great opportunity. The staff is amazing and kind, we had wonderful time.

We had a great stay at the Eco Lodge. It was very quiet and beautiful. Wayan and her team were always very helpful. The rooms were very nice. The pool is a great addition. There is not much around and it’s a bit tricky to go for a walk, so I would recommend to get a taxi (Grab / Gojek) to go to a restaurant (Ubud is not far) or an activity. I would definitely go back to Eco Lodge to enjoy some peaceful time at the jungle! :)

A gorgeous place in the midst of Nature. Wayan and Ina are incredibly kind and lovely, definitely a fantastic place to stay!

Nice peaceful place, limited breakfast options at the location but other good restaurants available nearby. Room was nice as described but did not change towels everyday, they just put your used towels out in the balcony to get dry again.

Wir verbrachten 4 wundervolle Tage hier. Die Ruhe tut so gut und der Pool am Fluss ist herrlich. Das Frühstück ist köstlich und die Fröhlichkeit ist ansteckend.

Wat een pracht en rust midden in de jungle met aan de overkant van de rivier waar nog inheemse mensen leven. Super verzorgd. Wel ietwat spannende trap zonder leuning, voor mij persoonlijk een uitdaging. Het zwembad is fantastisch maar de ligbedden aan vervanging toe. De meeste storten in en kussen zijn oud. Ook waren ze naast dit kleine resort aan het graven wat overdag wat geluidsoverlast gaf, voor ons geen drama. Ook de koffie was wat duur betaald achteraf. Maar toch zou ik zo weer terugkomen en raad ik het iedereen aan.

Staying at Bamboo Turtle Evolodge was just what we needed after a busy week in Ubud Center. We had a fantastic massage and took a lovely yoga class. The staff was very attentive to our needs. Wayan was fabulous!! Definitely will come back. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

A beautiful stay one should definitely experience during their visit to Bali. Sounds of bird’s chirping, water and the breeze added beauty to our stay. The hospitality was really good and flexible as per our needs. We had opportunity to interact with the host he was the best!!! Wish we stayed little longer. Will definitely come again in future.

We stayed for a week at Turtle Lodge and it was perfect. Beautiful private bamboo treehouses set in the jungle by the river with a lovely pool - what's not to love?! Wayan and team were wonderfully friendly, with the room cleaned every day. Each morning breakfast was a choice of colourful Balinese tastes or scrambled egg. They arranged for our laundry to be cleaned, and the honesty bar is a great touch. The treehouses are fantastic, with an air conditioned bedroom (with mosquito net if you prefer), a covered but open to the outside bathroom, and a balcony with a hammock looking into the trees. By burning mosquito coils we were able to sit out at night too. WiFi worked well. The location is 15-30mins by car from Ubud (faster on bike) but this means it's peaceful. We used Grab/GoJek to order food delivery from a huge selection or get a car into town if we wanted to eat out. Really easy - and no local SIM required. We'd certainly come again - it was the highlight of our trip!

Amazing place to stay with stunningly designed bamboo bungalows/tree houses you really feel like your in the jungle. The staff are fantastic the most friendly and so helpful nothing is too much trouble. Definitely I would recommend great stay and good location for the waterfalls and rice fields.

100% worth to visit this place! Completely in nature and a very nice treehouse. The bed slept really good. Staff is very nice and we had great breakfast in the morning. We also did yoga on the first morning of our stay!

This stay was magnificent and full of soul. Swimming under the tress and alongside the river was breathtaking. Sinking into the hammock as the sun set through the shaded balcony was divine. The location is close enough to Ubud that you can still have good choice on Grab, but far enough that it still feels serene. Thankyou so much everyone for all the wonderful ways you enriched my time here.

Leider waren wir nur kurz da, um von Sulawesi über Bali heimzufliegen. Wir würden diese Unterkunft sofort wieder wählen, toller Pool und gute Massagen, alles sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet. Ketut aus der Nachbarschaft ist ein sehr freundlicher Guide, der gut Englisch spricht und manchmal sogar seine nette Frau dabei hat.

The standout was the level of care and friendliness from Ibu Wayan and her amazing team. She took care of us from start to finish with great attention and kindness. Fresh fruit,coffee and pandan pancakes every morning and provided fresh Jamu when my fiancé mentioned he was feeling ill. She also accomodated our very late check-in. This place was absolute paradise. Dragonflies, exotic butterflies, geckos, the sound of crickets and the river flowing past. The bamboo treehouses are gorgeous, peaceful and feel quite private. The pool is perfect and serene. The photos are accurate to the actual property. It is about 30 minutes drive to central Ubud (approx 150,000 IRP- $1.50AUD) but I actually appreciated this as we didn’t have the sound of scooter horns and traffic interrupting the serenity. Would most definitely stay here again. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. 🙏

此次我们行程太紧，只在树屋住了一晚，这是最大的遗憾！无论是树屋360度环绕的水流声，还是整个区域内（尤其是房间里面）散发出的淡淡香味，还是好看又好吃的传统印尼早餐，都远超我们的预期！此处我们希望能够为迎接我们的Wayan点一个大大的赞，她真的太温柔友好啦！整个入住体验因为她的接待加了10分！Wayan帮晚上才赶来Checkin的我们找到了洗衣服务，摩托车租赁，还提供了骑行的安全贴士。下次回来时我们一定要试试河水边的spa，听着大自然的声音放松身心肯定非常美好。

Wayan was an amazing host. She was so friendly and made us feel right at home. Ketut, the driver was also very friendly and had tailored our tours to our requests. Both Wayan and Ketut also had timely responses to our messages whenever we had questions. If you’re looking for a nature-vibe then this is the place to stay. It has the perfect combo of being in nature but in the comfort of your villa.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely time, this is a peaceful area right in the trees by the river. Even though it had an outside bathroom we had hardly any insect visitors 🐛🐜. We were able to rent a scooter directly which was very helpful and for a very good price. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a jungle experience.

We had a great stay and appreciated how friendly Wayan was!! She took great care of us and it made our experience better. Property was beautiful and Balinese breakfast was delicious. Good location south of ubud if you are looking to stay away from some of the madness. Easy to rent scooter or book a grab to get around.

We had a peaceful few days whilst staying here. We were welcomed by Wayan and her team and they were all lovely and accommodating. Wayan made an effort to learn our names and made it extra special. We tried a traditional breakfast that was recommend by Wayan and it was really nice. Everywhere was clean and tidy, we were given towels for the pool and shower. Plenty of drinking water and mosquito spray!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bamboo turtle lodge, the hospitality experience was second to none. As others mentioned the staff was extremely nice, even for Balinese standards. Every day started with a very nice breakfast, and there were several different options to choose from. Mostly we returned to the pancakes but everything was great. The room was clean to begin with and tidied up every day as well. The location is south of Ubud, but just a 15 min scooter ride (depending on traffic. There are some very nice rice fields just around the corner, which we only discovered on our last day. The perfect location to relax and escape the busy city center.

O’s bamboo ecolodge resort was the perfect place to enjoy forest at its heart. With river streaming down the side of the huts, birds chirping throughout the day, and everything made in the hut in eco friendly technique, we felt peaceful and closer to the nature during our stay. Will definitely come back here for a longer stay :)

Such a lovely, tranquil hideaway in the forest! The room was super comfortable and the balcony was great for doing yoga and meditating. The food was delicious, too. Wayan was an incredible hostess and the staff was unparalleled! I highly recommend staying here.

10/10 stay! We loved our stay in the treehouse- it was absolutely magical. The treehouse looked exactly like the pictures, and it was incredibly tranquil being surrounded by so much greenery and hearing the river flow right in front of the treehouse. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and we felt so welcome. Ubud center is just a short scooter ride away and it is easy enough to get a Grab taxi from the property. Once we saw how busy the center of Ubud was, we were so happy that we chose to stay in a quieter area. We highly recommend staying at O’s place!

Ich habe mich dort so wohl gefühlt und es bereuet nicht länger geblieben zu sein. Es ist dort traumhaft schön. Es war wie in einem Paradies. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

An incredible place to spend the last couple of nights of our holiday. Wayan is a great host, always friendly, on hand and happy to help, as were the rest of the staff we met. The view from the treehouse was beautiful, the pool was secluded and private, and the Balinese breakfast was amazing! A very quiet place, 15 mins by scooter from Ubud centre, and so nice to fall asleep to the sounds of nature rather than mopeds!

We stayed 7 days and we loved it as an oasis from the crazy streets of Ubud. The room and verandah were very peaceful, listening to the river running by. We ordered food from Grab a couple of nights and that was cosy. We were well looked after and would recommend Bamboo Turtle to our friends.

Love the villa! Its so beautiful, Bu Wayan is so accomodating especially when I requested for birthday cake, at night I saw fireflies during staying here.

A really beautiful place just outside of Ubud. We really loved staying here as the place is really quiet but only 15 minutes away of the busy ubud centre. The bamboo lodges are so nice surrounded by a beautiful garden. The staff is really kind and will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you!

The lodge is amazing. The architecture of the little huts is quite unique. The pool by the river was very convenient to cool off after a long hot day. Wayan is amazing. Always very positive and helpful with instructions. The Balinese breakfast is the tastiest we've had on the island. The location is fairly close to Ubud and other small villages. Scooters are available to be rented on the property. Recommended!

This is by far the best I have ever experienced on my travels. The tree house is a dream From the warm welcome by Kedek . I felt like I was at home with friends. Very exceptional A dream to come back I would give it 10 if it existed The breakfast is pure soul food , papaya from the garden , Balinese breakfast OMG what an experience without words outstanding Wayan is also very warm and helpful. I only stayed one night because everything is fully booked, otherwise I would have stayed longer If you love to be in nature and love the animals this is the place to be

Wayan was such a wonderful host and even allowed my husband and I to check-in earlier than 2:00 PM since our flight landed at 9:00 AM and we wanted to settle our luggages in prior to going out! The staff are hospitable and even offered to take all of our luggages in to our airbnb while they let us wait by the public pool. If you are not a fan of insects/bugs, then you might want to find a different place to stay at. However, if you don't mind the ants that can sometimes get in your room, it's a beautiful stay w/ a quiet, beautiful scenery when staying. The outdoor bathroom was a unique experience, but again, if not too much of a fan of insects, then be aware before booking. But my husband and I enjoyed our stay! The complementary breakfast is amazing too as Wayan and staff ask you what type of breakfast you want between the 2 options they offer, and then they serve it! It's delicious and feels like a nice home-cooked meal. 9.5/10 experience!

Echt ons favoriete verblijf in Bali. Super vriendelijk personeel, schone kamers. Een mooi zwembad. Super rustgevende natuur geluiden waardoor goed sliep. Je had de optie om yoga & massage tegen betaling te doen. Dit beviel erg goed. Ook had de manager eten voor ons bereid. Het ontbijt was ook super goed!

We had a nice stay at the ecolodge. Organic food for everybody being afraid of bali belly!

It’s not too close to dowtown, the closest restaurant if walking is 900 meter, although the the place is very peaceful, everyone is super friendly and always happy to help. They basically provide everything for you to relax, yoga, great great massages and food. Please take the chance to stay here. It is a wonderful place

A short drive on scooter from the streets of Ubud and we were riverside, in the jungle, poolside and nestled into the hill in our own private bamboo turtle lodging. This gem was delightful, friendly and deeply restful. Wayan and Olivier and their team were considerate hosts who went out of their way to make our stay special. Highly recommend this one.

The stay at the Bamboo Turtle Ecolodge was phenomenal. The cabins are right by the river with access to a pool. It's far away enough from central Ubud that you get a truly quiet and meditative stay in nature, but still close enough that you could easily take a bike or car to the main Ubud center. Above all though, the staff was exceptional, accommodating, and kind. A relaxing experience through and through.

Absolutely amazing! Could literally make a list of all the different aspects of why this place was great. From the amazing surroundings to the beautiful people who where so responsive and even did our laundry for extremely cheap, I can’t praise this place enough. Everything was clean and so well done, would recommend this place to anyone coming anywhere close to Ubud. And you have to try the Balinese Breakfast. Comes included and one of my favourite breakfasts I’ve had in Bali

Everything was really nice about the place, the houses are amazing, the place is calm, and the personnel is very welcoming. The only thing is, since it’s among the trees and the bathroom is slightly open to the outdoor (which is also nice because you feel in nature while still being covered above your head), there are some mosquitoes and quite a lot of ants there. But overall we really loved Bamboo Turtle Ecolodge! It’s a great place to stay if you visit Ubud and want a bit of peace and to be close to nature.

Myself and my partner stayed here for a few days in February. The place is more stunning than on the photos , we were in awe at everything . Extremely welcoming staff and they have their own driver who lives on the same property which was great as he brought us around the nice restaurants and was a tour guide throughout our stay . Highly recommend !!

We had a wonderful stay. The place is unique, nestled in the jungle with individual cabins (bed and bath). It is very peaceful with the natural sounds of the jungle and a flowing river in the background. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our driver, Ketut, was very friendly, almost always available, and he showed us different places to visit. A magical place!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Staff were very friendly & accommodating. Location and room where very beautiful. I took a yoga class and had an in room massage whilst here - both I enjoyed very much. I recommend the Balinese breakfasts here they tasted truly delicious. The place was lovely, Wayan was very attentive giving us the best of experience and making our trip really easy. We had one hour yoga two times with the lovely teacher who was really patient and you can see she is an experienced yogi. My partner had an injury in one of her legs and Wayan made a homemade remedy for her. We are really grateful for that. Thank you to Riko for being such an accomodating and happy staff member. Olivier, thank you for creating this beautiful, environmentally forward, jungle haven for the soul. Absolutely loved our stay in this Eco Tree House. Wayan was so warm, friendly and welcoming - so is Anton. They are so quick to help with anything and goes above and beyond to make sure we have the loveliest stay. As an Indonesian, it’s so nice to experience an establishment that is respectful to the my home soil and to its people. Don’t wait to book this place! You can even swim in the river pictured (the water looked so clear during our stay). Imagine yourself reading a book, swinging in the hammock, whilst rain is happening in the background. One of (or maybe even THE) best Airbnb we’ve ever been to! It is so so beautiful! Wayan was so warm and kind, as were all the others. It is even more pretty than on the photos. The Balinese breakfast was yummy, the pool was great and we were away from all the busy traffic and tourists - great for relaxing. We got a massage which was very nice and went to sleep with the cicadas and frogs playing their part :) In the middle of nature - a real gem! Thanks for everything - we hope to be back soon!

Amazing place! Super well maintained and clean, but the best part was for sure the staff. Everyone very nice, doing everything they could to make our stay amazing, fresh breakfast and scooters available, which made our lives so much easier. They cleaned our room everyday, gave us tips about places to go and would always show up with a treat. We’ll definitely stay there again next time we come to Bali!

The bamboo turtle ecolodge is definitely a unique experience worth checking out! The local host, Wayan, will especially make your stay worthwhile with her friendly presence and accommodating nature. The environment is so peaceful and you'll hear all the sounds of nature. There are also two kitties roaming the property who we also grew fond of :)

We really enjoyed our short stay here. It was so peaceful and beautiful with the jungle surrounding us and the river down below. Our favorite part were the two cats that live on the property. They followed us to our rooms and begged for pets and cuddles. In the morning we were greeted with soft meowing at the door for us to let them in and play with us. The Airbnb was close to a Marriott hotel that had a rooftop restaurant. It was nice to walk over there for dinner and enjoy the river view. We definitely recommend this place!

The Bamboo Turtle Ecolodge is a must stay while in Bali! Wayan is the sweetest and helps with any questions or needs you may have (ask her about arranging massages, they are so good!) and Ketut is the best driver we had in Bali. He has some much knowledge and love for the area and will give you the best tour. We couldn’t stop talking about our time here, don’t miss out!

This was one of the best AirBnB stays we have ever had. The location was incredible, the Balinese breakfast was unreal and all of it was inexpensive. Wayan was amazing and took great care of us. She booked on-site massages for us on even ordered dinner to the lobby for us when we did not feel like going out for the evening. I would recommend anyone and everyone stay here if they get the chance.

I had such a great experience at O’s place. His staff was very helpful. Wayan would serve us breakfast every morning and she was even so helpful with helping me find my way around. The lodge was perfect and so peaceful. I traveled alone and felt very safe at the lodge. Oh and they have perfect little hosts too with four legs (their cats). Definitely would stay again!!! And 100% recommend.

We fell in love with Bamboo turtle ecolodge! Such a gorgeous place and Wayan and her colleagues were extremely attentive, we felt very comfortable and wish we could’ve stayed longer!

The whole experience at bamboo lodge was incredible. It was the first place we stayed when we got to Bali which we booked the day prior to arriving in Bali. Once the booking was confirmed I received a personal message from O confirming our stay and welcoming us to the property. The last minute booking didn’t hinder or delay the preparation of our lodge or affect the welcome we received . The service was exceptional from all of the staff from start to finish. We had a warm welcome from wayan who took great care in making sure we were fully catered for. We had our own personal driver, Ketut who was remarkable and went above and beyond to ensure we experienced everything that was available to us. Ketut was the icing on the cake for us, his unprecedented knowledge of the local area made our stay unforgettable. Not forgetting the resident kitten Bamboo and Ketut’s dog Milo that have free reign of the entire property, their presence made it feel like home. I would highly recommend bamboo lodge to anyone with the desire to fully appreciate Bali in all its beauty and all within the luxury of your own lodge situated in a private area that overlooks the beautiful scenery surrounding it.
