Exploring Beachfront Luxury Dome Villa #2 - Gamat Bay Resort left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Beachfront Luxury Dome Villa #2 - Gamat Bay Resort was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Nusa Penida plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Beachfront Luxury Dome Villa #2 - Gamat Bay Resort painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
One of the coolest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. It’s right on a beautiful, quiet beach, and the snorkeling was great. I even got to swim with a sea turtle for about 20 minutes! The staff were all super nice and helpful, especially with arranging taxis. The only downside is the location. The roads and traffic are rough, so even going a couple miles can take a long time. There’s a small restaurant right next door, which was really convenient since there’s not much else nearby. There’s also no nightlife or anything within walking distance. Be prepared for a lot of steep stairs in and out. Overall, a really peaceful place if you just want to relax and get away from everything.
Puta, and the team at the resort were great. Everything was easy and they were very helpful. The only bad thing for us, was that the water flow was that bad that we could not fill the tub outside. It took us about 30 minutes to draw a bath inside instead. this may be something they cannot fix so I do not necessarily blame them, it just obviously was a bit disappointing as we would’ve liked to use the hot tub. Apart from that everything was great and I would still recommend anyone staying here. It is a bit of the beaten track, so definitely let the team help you Witha taxi driver as they know exactly where they are going.
Die Unterkunft war sehr schön. Ich habe mich größtenteils sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider habe ich mit der rent a bike Empfehlung der Unterkunft sehr schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Das trübt den Aufenthalt sehr. Die Unterkunft ist etwas schwerer zu erreichen an für sich jedoch Mega schön.

This place is beautiful, peaceful, and amazing. If you are looking for a place of peace, nature, and great customer service, this is it. The only thing is that it is far from eateries and things to do which isn’t the resort’s fault but just wanted to share for your information.
Incroyable moment, la plage est superbe et relativement protégée. La baie est replié de poissons de toutes sortes, c’est une piscine aquarium au pied de l’hébergement. Beaucoup de bateaux s’y amarrent pour proposer du snorkeling mais la distance ne nous a pas dérangé. Ils ont tout organisé pour que le séjour soit facilité avec de nombreuse options, mini bar, etc. Nous avons eu droit à une séance photo inoubliable avec leur partenaire photographe très douée. Je recommande vivement et espère que ce petit joyau reste préservé du tourisme massif. Merci pour cet accueil.

We had an amazing stay at this beachfront accommodation in Bali. The location is absolutely perfect—right by the ocean, with the sound of the waves creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere throughout the day and night. It’s tucked away in a quiet area, making it ideal if you’re looking to unwind and escape the busier parts of the island. The place itself was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. We especially loved being able to step outside and have direct access to the beach—it really made the whole experience special. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly. If you’re looking for a peaceful beachfront, this is definitely a great choice. We would absolutely come back!
It was one of the best places to stay during the trip. The location was incredible perfect for starry nights, and you can even enjoy a beautiful sunset right from the stay. The only minor inconvenience was the 2 km stretch of road leading to the property, but it was absolutely worth it. In one word the stay was breathtaking

This place was amazing to stay at, it has a beautiful view and the rooms are lovely, the only thing to consider is that it is very tucked away so getting there can be tricky and there are some stairs to get to the accommodation, the the staff will help you as much as they can.
Wir hatten einen absolut unvergesslichen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft liegt zwar etwas abgelegen auf Nusa Penida, aber genau das macht ihren besonderen Charme aus. Wer Ruhe, Natur und ein echtes Paradies sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Der Strand ist einfach atemberaubend – fast schon wie aus einem Bilderbuch. Kristallklares Wasser, traumhafte Kulisse und eine unglaubliche Ruhe. Der Ausblick, egal ob morgens beim Aufwachen oder abends zum Sonnenuntergang, ist einfach spektakulär und bleibt definitiv im Kopf. Besonders begeistert hat uns auch das gesamte Ambiente: dieses einzigartige Zusammenspiel aus Dschungel und Meer schafft eine unglaublich entspannte, fast magische Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich sofort angekommen und kann komplett abschalten. Das Essen war durchweg lecker und abwechslungsreich, und der Service einfach top – super freundlich, aufmerksam und immer bemüht, den Aufenthalt perfekt zu machen. Dit verblijf is letterlijk een sprookje waar je je in waant, alles is goed geregeld en je voelt je echt alleen op de wereld. Wij zijn echt verliefd geworden op dit plekje! Voor het snorkelen is het ook prachtig! Wij baalde dat we er maar 1 nacht waren! Het is wel een stukje rijden met de scooter of taxi over een slechte weg voor ons geen enkel probleem maar hou hier rekening mee!

Little tricky to reach, but it’s a beautiful place and totally worth it. The host is very helpful. Perfect if you want some private time in a secluded location, with an amazing view.

the resort is right at the beach which makes it one of kind, we did snorkeling for which gears were already provided in the room. very unique stay.
Incredible place to stay right on the beach, the location is breathtaking and the pod is really well stocked with everything you need. The jungle bathroom is amazing too. Putu was really accommodating and helped us get back to the port when we needed to leave earlier than planned. The free snorkelling equipment in the room is a really nice touch too, we saw so many fish right in the bay. Would love to stay here again!
I can’t say enough about how amazing our stay at gamat bay resort was. The location is breathtakingly beautiful, peaceful private beach. World class snorkeling in the front yard. Then there was Putu. Our host. Who went extremely above and beyond to make our stay memorable and exceptional. From organizing tours. Ordering taxis, recommending restaurants, catering to our every request. I’ve stayed at many air B & B and Putu is by far the best host I’ve ever experienced. He genuinely went far beyond what was expected and made our stay one we will cherish and remember forever. We can’t say enough about how much we loved it here and are thankful for Putu.

Amazing location, private beach and an incredibly beautiful tent. very helpfull staff and flexible and solutional thinking. We had extremely bad weather so harbour s got closed, but Putu had a way out for us. Thank you again! Guys, we recommend this place to the fyllest.

This was an amazing stay. Yes there are stairs but they help you with your luggage and the walk in is lovely. It was the perfect place to relax and swim with the turtles. Would live here if I could!
My husband and I cannot say enough about our stay. It is such a unique and special spot. Hearing the waves crashing at night was so magical. We would highly recommend staying here!

This property is an absolute 5/5! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the hospitality and warmth of the staff. The villa itself is stunning—stylish, modern, and incredibly romantic. From the thoughtfully designed bathroom to the beautiful terrace, every detail was perfect. The view from our room was breathtaking, and soaking in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset was a highlight of our trip. The beach felt almost private and peaceful, and the snorkeling equipment provided made it easy to explore the crystal-clear waters. This was by far the most romantic and memorable place we stayed in Nusa Penida. If we ever return, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Gamat Bay Resort. Es war der perfekte Abschluss für unsere Bali Reise. Wir würden aufjedenfall wieder kommen und es jedem ans Herz legen vorbei zu kommen. Die Bucht ist super zum Schnorcheln, wir konnten sogar eine Schildkröte sehen. Der Service von Putu und dem Gamat Bay Resort Team war einwandfrei. Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Diese Unterkunft ist einfach ein Traum! Du hast das Meer direkt vor der Tür. Es war wunderschön eingerichtet, vorallem in das tolle Bad habe ich mich sofort verliebt. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei und das Bett war sehr liebevoll hergerichtet und bequem. Wir haben geschlafen, wie im Himmel. Der Whirlpool läd zum entspannen ein und es ist wunderschön das Meer beim einschlafen und aufwachen zu hören. Besonders überrascht waren wir, dass das Frühstück inklusive war. Man konnte es in dem kleinen „Restaurant“ verzehren oder sich in die Unterkunft bringen lassen. Auch der Empfang war ganz liebevoll und wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Jeden Freitag werden dort am Strand kleine Schildkröten zurück ins Meer geschickt, es war toll das miterleben zu dürfen. Es war wundervoll dort wohnen zu dürfen, wo andere Ausflüge buchen, um in dieser Bucht tauchen zu gehen. Wir können es nur sehr weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit hierher zurückkommen. Alle waren sehr freundlich❤

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits au Gamat Bay Resort, quelle expérience incroyable ! S’endormir et se réveiller avec le bruit des vagues, un rêve ! Tout était vraiment super ! La plage sur laquelle est l’hôtel est un spot de snorkelling, on peut donc y voir de superbes poissons le matin au réveil, c’est génial ! On a même eu la chance de voir des bébés tortues rejoindre la mer avec une association (tous les vendredis), vraiment mémorable !! La chambre est confortable et tout y est ! Merci beaucoup c’était super !

Amazing spot by the beach, snorkeling is a staircase away, and the location is secluded. A bit difficult to get there, but worth it. Staff is friendly, accommodating, and nice.
A truly one of a kind experience. We have stayed at a ton of airbnbs and this one was so unique! We did not want to leave! Three nights wasn’t enough. You can’t beat falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night and having the best snorkeling in Nusa Penida right in your front yard. Everything was perfect with our stay! We wouldn’t change a thing. The owners were so kind and helpful! If you’re on the fence just book it! We were in Bali for three weeks and this leg of the trip was the highlight by far. :)

This is a beautiful boutique resort and one of the best I've stayed in. All of the staff is very helpful and polite. Mr Puri is a great guy, very helpful and always smiling. This was a 5 star stay for me but do keep in my mind that it's a boutique stay so don't expect 24/7 dine in services or what not. Me and my wife highly recommend this place. Good job Team Gamat Bay Resort.

We were absolutely in awe of our accommodations at Gamat Bay Resort. The beach domes were so thoughtfully designed—featuring air conditioning, modern charging converters, a fully stocked mini bar, and convenient options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond, even offering extras like couples massages that made our stay feel extra special. The best part? Being just steps away from some of the best snorkeling in all of Nusa Penida. Our only regret is not staying longer—this place had us last-minute scrolling to see if there was any availability to extend. A truly unforgettable stay!
Great place but a long narrow path to get down to it. Ok for me as I’m fit but if unsteady on your feet it will be difficult. Great private location.
Stayed for 2 nights and all I can say is – this property is a 5/5! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The owner personally ensured we had everything we needed and was always available in case of any issues. We felt truly amazing here. One night we needed help finding a dinner spot and the owner not only recommended the best place but also made the reservation for us. Amazing location. you will literally stay on the beach. putu is great host. Every detail has been taken care while designing this room. I like the Jacuzzi most. only draw back is the accessibility to reach there, But it's worth the struggle.
The resort is situated at an amazing location and comes with real nice amenities. Beautiful ocean view from the room, and very nicely done jungle themed bathroom. Bonus, you can enjoy snorkeling for free at a place which attracts lots of snorkelers as part of tour packages.

Probably the most stylish and romantic place we stayed in. Putu is extremely friendly and the whole place from the bathroom to the terrace is extraordinary beautiful, modern and well thought out. Definitely the best accommodation you can find in Nusa Penida. If we ever visit the islands again, we will definitely be back!
If you are looking for a cocooning experience with a private beach feeling this is the right spot. The location is not so easy to access and it’s worth it to enjoy an amazing view by the bay. Local warung restaurant has the best Indonesian food you can find on the island. Our host was super helpful and very helping with recommendations and answering our questions.
