Exploring Beachfront Luxury Villa in North Bali left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Beachfront Luxury Villa in North Bali was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kubutambahan plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Beachfront Luxury Villa in North Bali painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
By Far one of the best Villas I ever stayed in, thr views from the pool are unmatched and the space you get is absolutely incredible. Eveything was provided to us to ensure our comfort. We genuinely could not have wanted anything more. Comfy beds, relaxing views, big deep pool, large TV screen for late night movies. Exactly as wished. All staff on property were also very kind and helpful the manager, the housekeeper and Gardener very accommodating and friendly. Thanks alot Tad and Jo, we hope to be back again soon 🫶
Ich war anfangs skeptisch wegen der nur perfekten Bewertungen – aber sie wurden übertroffen! Die Villa in Kubutambahan ist wunderschön und blitzsauber. Auch ohne persönliche Anwesenheit war Jo über Airbnb unglaublich zuvorkommend: Sofortige Antworten und direkte Umsetzung mit Villenmanagerin Kadek. Kadek und Putu organisierten tolle Ausflüge, und Komang war in der Villa eine riesige Hilfe und eine absolut fantastische Köchin – ich vermisse ihr Essen jetzt schon! Ein riesiges Lob auch an die Fahrer, Kadeks Mann und Putu: Sie haben uns sicher überall hingebracht, sich nach uns gerichtet und waren super rücksichtsvoll. Wir konnten absolut nichts aussetzen und sind rundum begeistert. Vielen Dank an das ganze Team und für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 😊
La villa Tad&Jo est incroyablement agréable. Très spacieuse, confortable et dotée d'une magnifique et très grande piscine au centre d'une immense terrasse qui donne directement sur la mer. Les levers et couchers de soleil y sont fabuleux. Elle dispose d'une petite plage et d'un ponton sur lequel vous pouvez vous installer sur une table pour siroter un cocktail en admirant le coucher de soleil. Le matin, vous aurez peut être le chance d assister à une pêche au filet traditionnelle juste devant la villa. Le personnel est adorable. Merci pour ta gentillesse et ton beau sourire Komang. Eddy s'est occupé de la gestion de tous nos déplacements. Il a toujours été disponible et de bons conseils. Grâce à lui et ses chauffeurs, toujours souriants, nous avons pu découvrir le nord de Bali en toute tranquillité. Merci à tous à bientôt nous l'espérons ! Pascale et toute la famille.

Wunderschöne Villa, ruhig gelegen, perfekt zum Entspannen! Wir waren mit der Familie dort und hatten einige wunderbare Tage. Man will die Villa eigentlich gar nicht verlassen:) Wir haben Ausflüge gemacht zu den Aling Aling Wasserfällen, tolle Natur und abenteuerlich, inklusive Klippenspringen. Die Delphintour in Lovina ist auch ein Erlebnis. Kadek, die Villamanagerin, ist sehr hilfsbereit mit der Organisation, und Komang ist so freundlich und kocht auf Wunsch die besten balinesischen Gerichte. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
If you want a beautiful, peaceful, beach vacation this is the place for you. Away from the most "touristy" places that are overcrowded and filled with pressuring vendors, but still many places to eat and visit. The home is beautiful inside and out. The hosts are very receptive and helpful throughout the visit. We had nothing wrong at any time during our visit. The beach was beautiful, quiet, and very peaceful. We even had our personal chef, and we could not say enough good things about her. She gave us amazing ideas and the food was even better than anything we could have imagined. We have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay and when we come back we will definitely look to stay here again.
Wonderful! 11 nights where we spent the majority of the time at the villa (with the occasional day trip to Lovina, waterfalls, rice fields, temples etc) enjoying the impressively large and deep pool (shared only with the delightful birds that skimmed across for a drink) and multiple locations to relax surrounded by lovely well maintained gardens. Excellent air conditioning, especially in the bedrooms, and everything had been taken into consideration ranging from water dispenser to abundant international power adapters. Nice warung within walking distance along the beachside path. We were treated to an evening storm early on (& treated ourselves to massages from Ari & Putri-highly recommend Swedish) and a real treat was Komang whose smiling face and conversation on her daily visits were always delightful plus she is an excellent cook! Highly recommended!
Unterkunft genau wie beschrieben. Alles war makellos sauber. Genieße die Aufmerksamkeit und die Kochkünste der Haushälterin Komang! Die Unterkunft ist durch eine kleine Nebenstraße von der Hauptstraße getrennt, das sorgt für Ruhe vor dem Straßenlärm. Der Blick auf den Ozean aus dem Infinty-Pool ist magisch, insbesondere bei Nacht, wenn der ganze Horizont mit Lichtpunkten der Fischerboote übersät ist. Neben Komang machen der Fahrer Eddy und der Gärtner deinen Aufenthalt unvergesslich. Zögere nicht, buche! Danke Tad&Jo und dem gesamten Team für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt!
Wir haben eine Woche in der schönen Villa verbracht, als vierköpfige Familie. Es war die letzte unserer drei Stationen auf Bali und wir haben die wunderschöne Villa in der ruhigen Lage im Norden sehr genossen! Alles ist sehr großzügig, die Betten sehr bequem, der Garten einfach wunderschön und der Pool mit Blick aufs Meer riesig und ein Luxus. Auch das Team der Villa ist wunderbar, Komang kocht (sie macht morgens ein leckeres Frühstück je nach Wunsch und Bedarf, sie kocht auch auf Wunsch mittags und abends). Es waren die leckersten Gerichte und wir würden sie jedem sehr empfehlen! Sie macht auch den Haushalt, was einfach ein toller Service war, bei Bedarf auch mal die Wäsche. Kadek, die Villamanagerin, ist ebenfalls eine große Hilfe, sehr schnell und immer gut erreichbar. Sie organisiert Ausflüge, die man machen möchte. Schön fanden wir die Wasserfälle bei Aling Aling, die Delfintour von Lovina aus und mit dem Roller die Gegend zu erkunden. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
Une villa superbe par son environnement et sa configuration. C’est une très bonne base pour aller explorer la région et faire de nombreuses activités (à 1h ou 1h30 de route). Nous remercions chaleureusement Komang pour sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et tous les super plats qu’elle nous a préparés. Nous nous sommes régalés. Nous remercions aussi Kadek pour son accueil et ses conseils. Bref nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable ! Merci !!
The perfect place to relax and recharge! Great outdoor spaces (yes, more than one!) to enjoy the sea breeze and ocean views (including a sunset viewing platform on the beach), and not too many mosquitoes. Best pool ever, all to ourselves! Giant chess, ping pong, the ukulele and TV kept us entertained. The wonderful staff looked after us so well and Tad & Jo was very helpful prior to our stay too. Komang cooked us delicious meals every day so we didn't have to leave the villa! Everything was regularly cleaned during our two-week stay including the pool, gardens and outdoor spaces. We were properly refreshed at the end of our holiday because we had a beautiful private space to enjoy, and didn't have to do any cooking, cleaning or laundry! We were also able to get spa treatments done at the villa. Overall an amazing experience which we highly recommend! Thank you Tad & Jo and your wonderful staff! 🩷🩷
This has truly been our best Airbnb experience to date! The villa itself was absolutely stunning, offering a serene escape. What really set this stay apart was the exceptional service; both the host and their dedicated team went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our visit was perfect. And let's not forget the food – it was simply delicious! If you're seeking a place for peace and quiet, we couldn't recommend this highly enough.
We stayed 2 weeks and could have easily stayed longer! Though it’s a 5-hour drive from the airport (traffic in/out of Desaru is unpredictable), it’s worth it. The villa is peaceful, beachfront, and very well-equipped—including a slow cooker and table tennis. No cafes nearby, but local shops and a warung are close. Komang, the warm housekeeper, cooks excellent Indonesian meals, helps in the kitchen, and keeps the place spotless. Kadek, the manager, fixed issues promptly. Wi-Fi is workable even for remote work. Massages by Ari & Putri were a treat. Eddy, the driver, was hospitable and tailored outings to our taste (don’t miss Aling Aling Falls & Buda Bakery!). The volcanic beach and warm, clear sea were magical—soft sand just a few meters in. Sunrise and sunset views from the pool were unforgettable. We spent most of our time at the villa and loved every minute. Jo was responsive and honest throughout. Already planning our return!
The Villa is beautiful and exceeded our expectations in everyway. It's situated within beautiful gardens and the pool overlooking the ocean was perfect to spend lazy days by the pool looking out over the ocean. The staff were exceptional and made sure our stay we had a wonderful time.
If your looking for serenity, as we were, then Villa Tadjo was ideal. The ocean views, cool and shady gardens and lapping of the waves cleansed the soul and resulted in total rejuvenation. Would recommend longer stays to fully benefit from this idyllic setting. With the villa manager on hand to arrange massages etc and the excellent housekeeper serving food that made eating out totally unnecessary, perfect for a relaxing holiday.
I have just spent a wonderful, relaxing month at beautiful Villa TadJo with family and friends. A delayed flight meant that Edy drove us to the Villa in the early hours of the morning and Komang, the cook and housekeeper, was still at the Villa to greet us. Wonderful, dedicated staff. The Villa is very well appointed, the infinity pool overlooking the ocean is pure heaven and the garden with its vibrant plants and flowers is beautifully maintained by WowWow. My special thanks are for Komang, who prepared and cooked breakfast and delicious dinners each day and looked after the Villa to the highest standard. She is an absolute gem. Kadek, the Villa manager, was always on hand to organise massages and beauty treatments - absolute bliss! And finally, Edy drove us to magnificent waterfalls and other places of interest. His local knowledge and happy demeanour add to the joy of discovering Bali. Villa TadJo is a little bit of paradise on earth.
What can’t we say about this trip? The grounds were immaculate. The pool was clean and cool and a hit with all of us. Kadek and Komang took the best care of us. There were unexpected bonuses like amazing meals prepared in house for the cost of ingredients and of course a tip for Komang - who is an amazing cook. The gardener even took us to see the reefs off shore in his boat - a real treat for which we are forever grateful. The hosts suggested Edy who drove us around and he too went above and beyond - showing us places we surely would not have found on our own. Our last evening, we were invited to the village’s temple’s birthday celebration. We were dressed in traditional wear and were immersed in some of the local customs. None of us wanted to leave. Warm weather, warmer people, beautiful, green surroundings, amazing staff and responsive hosts. This might just be our best trip so far in Asia. We can’t thank you all enough for everything you did. We are talking about a return ASAP :)
Amazing Villa, fab stay in Bali so far. Hosts want above and beyond, Villa was so nice, infinity pool. WOW. And the in-house meals were so good too!
Wow. From the moment you walk into Villa Tadjo, you feel rested. From the glimpse of the pool from the front door, to the ocean in the background, it’s just so special. The Villa Manager was so responsive - we had an issue the air conditioning in lounge and bedroom - the next day we have three new split systems installed. After years of spending time in Legian, Seminyak & Canggu, we were wanting something completely opposite - quiet, no traffic, no tourists - and boy did we get it. The location is amazing. Couple of warungs close by, and more eateries 30mins away. But the real diamond in our entire stay was Komang-she is the housekeeper but it doesn’t seem enough to say that. She cooked for us - and her cooking was the best we had in the two weeks we were in Bali. Edy the driver is salt of the earth & helped to organise tours, fishing trip & more. Wawan (gardener) is also terrific. It’s the villa staff that take this stunning place to next level. Can’t wait to return! Xx

Had an amazing stay with my husband and l for our first trip without kids in 17 years. The accommodation was everything we wanted and more. Being in the accommodation business for 20 years my expectations are high and certainly it was exceeded. Service amazing, cleanliness perfect, service wonderful and a view to die for. Planning to come back very soon.
From the moment Eddy picks you up, the experience begins. He was fantastic, providing great recommendations and conversation throughout our stay. The villa is a 3-4 hour drive from Denpasar, but the journey through beautiful villages and rice fields is worth it. Upon arrival, the wonderful Komang and Kadek warmly greet you, and that’s when the magic starts. A long hallway opens to stunning pool and ocean views, with a gentle breeze—it's paradise! Communication before arrival was excellent; lunch and refreshing drinks were waiting for us. We spent 10 unforgettable nights feeling like royalty! Komang’s meals were delicious, and she took care of everything from making the beds to daily laundry. The villa is perfection, with air-conditioned rooms, mosquito nets, and a well-maintained garden. A restaurant is just a 5-minute walk away, but the sunrises, sunsets, and pool were unbeatable. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back—we already miss it! Cant wait to go back!
Wow what can I say. We were all stunned as we pulled up at the property to see the view through the open doors to the pool and sea. We had been collected from Sanur by the wonderful Eddy and then we were met by Kadek and Komang. The villa in reality is better than the photos portray, so relaxing and peaceful. I loved waking up hearing the sea, watching the sunrise sat on the Yoga mat with the fisherman going out. It truly is spectacular and enhanced by Komang and her wonderful cooking, cleaning and everything else she does, Kadec organising massages by the pool, plus Eddy with his knowledge and fantastic organised trips. We were all so sad to leave and were looking at flights to come back next year. I can not express how peaceful the place is and how big it feels it really does have that wow factor and we count ourselves very lucky to have discovered this gem of a villa. Our 12 yr old daughter lived in the pool it is so big can't wait to be back next year. Thank you all so much.
We stayed at the villa as a family of four (two adults and two children) and had a fantastic time. The villa is in a peaceful and quiet location, the view of the sea is spectacular. The villa is well equipped and the outdoor area, including the pool, is exceptional. We were very well looked after during our stay, the breakfasts and dinners that were cooked for us were all very delicious. We would thoroughly recommend this villa.
This place is pure magic. Not only does the north (and this village particularly) feel like you’ve stepped into real Bali, the people around are super friendly (kind of place where everyone says hi). The villa itself is EPIC!! The pool, the outdoor space, the well thought out various seating areas (perfect for a sunset bintang!), plus the yoga mats/ seafront seating area! We just totally chilled out. But the REAL wonderful surprise was just how wonderfully we were treated by the staff. Everything they did was to make us more comfortable from being there to meet us and making sure we were settled (even though we arrived late), getting us everything we needed- all with a smile! HUGE shout out to Komang (the housekeeper) and Eddy (the driver)- they made our trip unforgettable and I promise you, are the nicest humans you will ever meet! What we ate (Komang can cook anything- the best!!) what we saw (Eddy helped plan epic tours)- we were made to feel like family. Just THANK YOU!!!!!!
Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Tad et Jo. L'emplacement, bien qu'isolé, est formidable après le tumulte d'Ubud. Un restaurant à proximité est très bon et agréable. Le personnel de la villa est juste extraordinaire. Tout est facile, tout est possible...des massages à domicile au bord de l'eau, l'organisation de sorties et activités (les sauts dans les chutes d'Aling Aling ont plus à toute la famille), des petits déjeuners au repas, le nettoyage du linge, des appâts pour la pêche ! Tout à des prix qui rendent tout ce luxe accessible... Un vrai coup de coeur pour notre famille et une émotion à notre départ.
La villa est magnifique, la vue sur la mer est très reposante. Le personnel est très discret. Mention spéciale pour notre cuisinière Komang qui nous a préparé plusieurs repas ainsi que les petit-déjeuners. La maison est très spacieuse, et il à été difficile de la quitter
Das Haus von Tad und Jo liegt wunderbar, unmittelbar am Meer und ist eine echte Perle, ebenso wie die Haushälterin Komang. Sie versteht es, die Gäste mit ihren fantastischen Kochkunst zu verwöhnen, ohne dass es einseitig wird, lächelt immer und nichts ist ihr zu viel. Gleiches gibt für Eddy, der nicht nur den Transfer vom und zum Flughafen organisiert und übernommen hat, sondern uns auch sehr viele schöne Orte der Insel gezeigt und uns zusätzlich an der Kultur seines Heimatortes teilhaben lassen hat. Das Haus, sowie das super freundliche Personal sind etwas ganz besonderes und absolut zu empfehlen, ebenso wie Tad und Jo als hervorragende und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Unsere knapp 3 Wochen waren leider viel zu schnell vorbei...
Tadjo Villa was heaven on earth. The infinity pool is something beyond imagination. The villa is so well designed & furniture was absolutely brand new and very comfortable. The villa manager Kadek was extremely helpful & responsive. But above all was Kumang the caretaker and cook. She gave us such delicious meals we went crazy for her. Best place to stay. Housekeeping was superb. Best place to stay in the North of Bali. I give it not just 5 but 100 🌟
We had three amazing weeks! The villa was beautiful, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets with the sound of the ocean ever present. Kadek was very helpful with booking massages and mani- and pedicures. The true gem however was Komang who was so nice and prepared breakfast and dinner every day. She really made our vacation great.
Vila yang menakjubkan tepat di tepi pantai! Kolam renang yang luas, banyak sofa untuk bersantai. Lokasi terpencil untuk meditasi di alam. Vila itu sendiri sangat besar dan modern. Terletak dekat dengan jalan, tetapi kebisingannya tidak terlalu terasa.
A beautiful place for relaxation and inner balance. Decent size pool, beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The facility is well-equipped and meets Western standards. Definitely recommend.
Fantastic villa with great staff included. Komang spoiled us very much with her dishes, preparing breakfast and dinners for us, where she bought local fruits and vegetables at the market. View to sea and the pool were amazing. Also the kids loved the place very much. Everything clean and working perfectly. Great if you want and seek privacy, as there is only one restaurant, walking 5 min left along the beach. Went there for a sunset drink. Having a driver is a must if you wanna get around. Count 3-4 hours from/to airport: recommended use the transfer day to see the island incl. e.g. Mt. Batur, Pura Ulun Danu Batur (2nd biggest temple in Bali, very pleasant to visit) and/or Ubud. Dolphin excursion from Lovina was ok (many boats chasing the dolphins), snorkeling in Menjangan was a highlight (rather quiet, saw turtles). Be sure to always carry enough cash, credit card usage still limited for e.g. excursions and entry fees.
I can't say enough about how amazing our stay at Villa Tadjo was! The moment Eddy, the driver pulled up, Kadek the house manager and Komang the housekeeper were there to greet us outside and help us get inside and had a very tasty and refreshing welcome drink ready. The house is immaculately kept and beautifully decorated and the amenities are all top of the line. Komang is an amazing cook, everything she made was unbelievably delicious! She was so helpful and attentive to anything we needed, I can't say enough great compliments about her. The extra touches such as the villa name of the towels and on the uniform shirts was very impressive! The A/C worked great and was very cool in the villa, which was very important to us, but the sea breeze outside coming through with the doors open is amazing as well. The owners were great at responding very quickly to any questions we had about the local area which was really nice. I would definitely recommend Villa Tadjo, 5-Star rating from us!
Tad and Jo’s place is a perfect piece of paradise. The view is the most calming and peaceful you could ever ask for. The staff are amazing! Super helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There aren’t really any local amenities which was fine as we didn’t plan to go anywhere for the 3 days we were there, but this is not a problem as the amazing Komang cooked us dinners and breakfasts. Jo also arranged for us to have massages on site twice. They were amazing and better than anything you would get at home. The sound of the ocean is so relaxing, everything you need is there and beautifully maintained and presented. Although it is a 3 hour car journey from the airport don’t be put off by this, it gives you the opportunity to drive through the most spectacular scenery and to get a sense of real Bali rather than Tourist Bali. We were sad to leave but we will definitely be back. Don’t tell too many people about this place otherwise we won’t ever be able to get availability!

La cuisinière qui est aussi l’agent d’entretien est très doué et bienveillante, la chauffeur eddi est chaleureux et il nous a fait découvrir des endroits incroyables ! La villa est spacieuse avec une magnifique vue sur la mer. Je recommande vivement ! 😄🏝️
Tad&Jo‘s villa has been the perfect retreat for us. Rooms are big, beds comfy, pool great. There is not much you can do outside of the villa and it’s not touristy at all but this is exactly what we were after. What makes this place so beautiful though is the kind hearted wonderful housekeeper Komang. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are feeling at home and cares for you with doing your laundry and if wished cooking too. She is wonderful caring with kids too and will be dearly missed by us.
Absolutely wonderful!TadJoe’s villa was exactly what we needed- peaceful serene and relaxing. Kadek the manager was incredibly thoughtful and always available for everything we needed. Komang the House Keeper/Cook was exceptional. made us breakfast and dinners, local and western food. We also asked for extra food for Christmas holidays and they both came through for us. It was exceptionally well organized. Eddy, the driver was super helpful. He picked us up from Ubud and brought us straight to the Villa with no issues. He is polite, friendly, and thorough, and gave us decent prices. The villa itself is beautiful,traditional style with some modern renovations. It’s very clean. AC work well. It’s huge for three people. The beds are OK but not the most comfortable. The only downfall was the busy road behind the villa. You can sometimes hear traffic but for the most part you hear the ocean waves. Not enough hot water in the showers, light shines through the bedroom door window.
We had an amazing experience in this house… it is a bit far from all the touristic hotspots, but we wanted a few days of rest in the sun and it is a superb location to do so! The communication is very easy and the house comes with a complementary cook and gardener. The cook (and housekeeper) Komah makes whatever breakfast, lunch and dinner you want! Her springrolls and nasi are amazing! Also, washes and irons your clothes if you would like. We would highly recommend this place!!!
Great property. It’s as described. The host were responsive and accommodating to any request. The property came with an aid (cleaning, gardening and cooking) which was unexpected but a very welcomed addition. The aid was a wonderful woman who went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. Very friendly, respectful, kindhearted and caring, as well as being a wonderful cook. Top marks marks. Komang, you truly are a wonderful human. Keep up the good work. The property had all one needs for a peaceful and relaxing break; clean, quiet, some garden games and on the beach location. The host also arranged a driver, Eddy, who was very helpful in arranging and assisting in tours, activities and other transportation needs. The hosts had the organisation of the rental very well thought out. Good job! 👌🏾
