Exploring BEACHFRONT LUXURY VILLA LOVINA NORTH BALI left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of BEACHFRONT LUXURY VILLA LOVINA NORTH BALI was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Gerokgak plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for BEACHFRONT LUXURY VILLA LOVINA NORTH BALI painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Positiv: Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, geräumig und sah aus wie auf den Fotos. Kadek und Komang, die Haushälterinnen, waren sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns täglich Essen zubereitet und die Zimmer gesäubert. Auch der Pool war sauber und der Garten sehr gepflegt. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch und dafür sehr günstig. Negativ: Es gibt eine Haushündin, die die Eigentümerin nicht erwähnt hat. Für Allergiker ist diese Unterkunft nicht geeignet. Die Hündin ist sehr lieb, unglaublich süß und wir haben auch mit ihr gespielt. Allerdings fühlten wir uns dadurch auch in unserer Bewegungsfreiheit eingeschränkt, weil die Hündin auf der Couch und auf den Sonnenliegen lag. Dadurch lagen dort überall Hundehaare. Zusätzlich gab es durch das offene Badezimmer und Wohnzimmer sehr viele Mücken.

Geweldige tijd gehad in villa Senja. Kadek en Koman waren zeer behulpzaam en hebben voor ons heerlijke maaltijden bereid.

After having crossed many bumpy roads, we finally arrived at paradise - villa Senja. Breathtaking sea view, fantastic garden and pool, beautiful house and an amazing crew looking after us. Our host Marie was very responsive and kind; the duo from heaven Kadek & Komang (manager, cooks, housekeeping and much more), the guide&driver Putu and Ary & Martin (security&gardener) fulfilled all our wishes and made our stay unforgettable - big thank you to all of you!! This place is perfect to regnerate and reload your batteries. Even tough it‘s diffucult to leave the villa, it‘s also worth to do some of the activities offered in this beautiful part of the island. Just ask Kadek&Putu and they will make it happen. We also enjoyed that Sri came to the house to massage us in the garden. We can highly recommend her treatment. Thousand thank you and see you again!

Of all the amazing and beautiful villas in Bali, this by far is the most incredible. The villa is stunning and impeccably maintained. Situated in a quiet location right on the beach it is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a tranquil break. Whilst the villa is incredible, what really makes the place pure luxury is the staff. Kadek and Jero make the most incredible meals every day for you and Martin provides on site security.

Another amazing stay at Villa Rumah Senja. Kadek, Komang, Putu and everyone else are the best thing about this place - which is saying a lot, because the villa itself is simply fabulous. Beautiful, comfortable, spacious, with the best pool and natural surroundings. Kadek and her family are more than staff, they are friends. And Kadek and Komang are wonderful cooks too. We will be back again one day, as long as the same staff are there

Generell sind 5 Sterne für diese Unterkunft einfach zu wenig. Als wir ankamen, waren wir uns nicht sicher, ob das wirklich wahr sein kann. Villa Senja ist das absolute Paradies. Maries Mitarbeiter vor Ort, allen voran die wunderbare Kadek, waren von einer herzlichen Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft, die nur schwer mit Worten zu beschreiben ist, sowohl uns gegenüber als auch unseren Kindern (10 & 2). Der Ausblick nach dem Erwachen über die paradiesische Gartenanlage, direkt auf das Meer war von nahezu unrealistischer Schönheit. Das Essen, das für uns zubereitet wurde, die Orte, wo uns unserer Fahrer einbrachte, alles war von einer beispiellosen Perfektion, dass die 5 Tage, die wir dort leider nur zur Verfügung hatten, zu einem der schönsten Urlaubserlebnisse wurden, die wir je hatten. (Abschiedstränen nach einem Urlaubsaufenthalt waren auch für uns eine neue Erfahrung). Wir werden sicher wiederkommen. DANKE

Wir waren zu sechst und die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. Sie ist wunderschön, großzügig und sehr gepflegt, mit viel Platz und vielen Möglichkeiten, sich auch einmal zurückzuziehen. Besonders schön war, dass wir sowohl den Sonnenaufgang als auch den Sonnenuntergang genießen konnten. Ein großes Dankeschön an Kadek und ihr Team! Sie haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt, uns großartig bei der Organisation von Touren unterstützt und uns sogar Lunch für unsere Schnorcheltour mitgegeben. Gleichzeitig hatten wir jederzeit unsere Privatsphäre, und sobald wir etwas brauchten, war immer jemand zur Stelle. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder, wenn wir das nächste Mal auf Bali sind!

We hebben nog nooit zo’n mooie villa gehuurd! We voelden ons Koning en Koningin! Wat een supermooie villa en ook het personeel is fantastisch! Ze staan de hele dag voor je klaar, maken de beste gerechten, doen de was en zijn echt geweldig. Ook is er een supervriendelijle tuinman en ook een aardige beveiliger. Het beste dat ons ooit is overkomen en we komen ontzettend graag nog eens terug. Wat een luxe!

Wij kunnen niet in woorden uitbrengen hoe mooi en goed deze accommodatie is. De locatie is fantastisch het huis is prachtig! Kadek en Jeroo zijn zo lief, maken alles schoon, doen de was, denken met je mee en kunnen fantastisch eten maken. De chauffeur Putu is een geweldig persoon. Deze mensen hebben een plekje in ons hart gekregen en we zijn verliefd geworden op het huis en de locatie! Wij komen zeker terug!

La villa est une bulle qui permet de se ressourcer pleinement. Le personnel sur place est juste extraordinaire. Je recommande entièrement cette villa et je comprends les autres voyageurs qui reviennent régulièrement car je me vois également revenir dans le futur !

Loved every minute of our stay here at Villa Senja, we spent most of our time relaxing in the amazing outdoor area and swimming in the massive pool. Do not miss the opportunity to try kadek's cooking she truly is a great cook and is priced very fairly. I hope my family and I are able stay again one day.

This was our third stay in as many years. Staff extremely friendly and both Kadek and Jeroo provided us with fabulous Balinese cooking every night. Nothing was too much trouble and we have a special friendship with both of them. If you enjoy a good massage, then Kadek will organise for Sri to come to Senja so you can bepampered for an hour. Putu was our driver and I highly recommend him to future guests at Senja, be it being picked up from airport or being driven around the local area or day trips. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Gardens are maintained to create a lovely ambiance and tranquility to the place. If you wish to experience the real Bali of the past located in paddy fields, meeting with the local community, watching the local fishermen going out for their catch of the day and having panoramic views of the ocean, this is the place to be. Villa Senja is a must to spend your vacation!

Magnifique villa avec un personnel très très sympathiques

Min familie og jeg er lige kommet hjem efter 7 uger i Villa Senja. En afslapnings ferie som vi virkelig havde længtes efter, og den skuffede ikke. Huset og omgivelserne var fantastiske. Super børnevenligt med de tilstødende soveværelser. Det der gjorde vores lange ophold ekstra perfekt var Kadek og hendes team. Der blev handlet det ind som vi ønskede, og lavet den mest fantastiske balinesiske mad, og det var aldrig et problem når der skulle laves et børnevenligt alternativ. Så var der alt det de gjorde, som jeg ikke tænker stod i deres job beskrivelse, så som at hjælpe til med vores to børn. Det skete op til flere gange at vi fandt vores børn oppe i køkkenet hvor de sad og legede, og vores børn kommer virkelig til at savne dem. Derudover var Kadeks mand Putu en fantastisk chauffør. Han kørte os rundt som vi lystede, og var super hjælpsom med at arrangere ture, eller hjælpe os med at forhandle priser på marked i Singaraja. Alt i alt en drøm af en ferie, som vi ikke vil hjem fra.

Der Aufenthalt in der Villa SENJA war sensationell! Die Villa ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit! Das Herzstück der Villa sind die lieben Menschen vor Ort! Kadek, Jero, Putu, Kadek Three, Fitri, Komang, Martin! Ohne diese lieben Menschen wäre die Villa nicht das, was sie ist! Das Essen in der Villa war vorzüglich. Wir haben uns extra den Norden der Insel ausgesucht, da wir viel Zeit in der Natur verbringen wollten. Putu hat uns wunderbar begleitet und uns und unseren Kindern viel über Bali erklärt. Wir haben mit allen zusammen gefeiert und viel gelacht und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! So gut, dass wir nächstes Jahr wiederkommen und ganz liebe Menschen kennenlernen durften! Der Geburtstag von meinem Mann war fantastisch organisiert, das werden wir nie vergessen. Wir möchten uns bei allen von Herzen bedanken und drücken euch ganz feste! Suksma ❤️

Amazing villa, great staff, we stayed as a family with two babies here for one week and nearly didn't left the place, since it's that beautiful, with a breathtaking (circa) 20 meters-pool, insane stay & living quality inside as well as many places outside to hang out in the garden. The team catering us were also beautiful, a real gem and top recommendation!

We had a great time at Villa Rumah Senja! It is an amazing villa - in the garden we saw a monkey and a monitor lizard. The team are also amazing, from the kitchen staff to security. We have small children and it was not very practical with the location (far away from supermarkets/atm) and open bathrooms, but if you have older children/only adults is no problem. I truly recommend the villa, it was a once in a lifetime experience.

We loved our family staycation at Marie’s place! Bu Kadek, Jero and Fitri and the rest of the staff were so lovely and helpful. The house was amazing and the photos didn’t do the place justice! Even on the rainy days, it was a dream. We definitely will be back some time in the future. Thank you Marie for sharing your home.

few words can describe villa senja. it wowed us from the minute we arrived until we left . the gardens and pool were amazing. we always had lots to watch from our deck ... local fisherman, dolphins and even 2 whales. we loved walking down the local beach and seeing real bali life. The staff were definitely our favorite thing about the villa. we loved the kitchen staff kadek and giro. they teased us and we teased back. ate great food and even spent 2 mornings making spring rolls . they were delicious. we also enjoyed komen the gardener and pool guy. he kept everything cleaned and always was so polite and friendly. Komen the security also was great. always a story to tell. we also lucked into the best driver in the world putu. he arranged many tours and we never felt rushed even tho we kept him waiting many times. the villa will always be one of our favorite air b and b .

As great as Marie’s place looks in the photos, it’s far more wonderful in person! It has such a feeling of space & serenity & calm - it’s an absolute oasis! The pool is HUGE & the whole outdoor garden area is just sublime!!! Absolutely LOVE the objects of art - the carvings etc (especially the oversized ones) are incredible! Wonderfully tasteful throughout!! As so many reviews mention, Kadek & Jro are excellent at taking care of their guests. We had one dinner in the villa which Kadek cooked & we all agreed it was absolutely restaurant quality (or in fact better!). A suggestion is that it would be brilliant if Kadek/Marie could put together a basic written menu so guests can easily choose from her amazing offerings - as absolutely everything she cooked was soooo delicious! If you want to get away from it all & want to feel like you have your own slice of paradise - look no further than Villa Rumah Senja! Ps thanks so very much Marie for being such an incredible & responsive host!!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Senja, we were honestly a little overwhelmed. The house itself is beautiful, in stunning grounds and meticulously maintained. The real stand out of the experience was the friendly and welcoming team at the house. Kadek was an amazing host, keeping us well fed. With Jro and the garden team, the house was kept immaculate throughout the day. There isn't a lot in the area if you are after tourist attractions, but there wasn't much need to leave as we were so well looked after and the house was such a peacefull place to be. Putu was always on hand if we needed to go anywhere, a trip to the hot springs in Banjar was a highlight. The pool at the villa is really amazing and we spent a lot of days swimming. I couldn't recommend the house enough.

What a wonderful, peaceful place! Kedak and her team were kind, thoughtful and very capable. They cooked excellent food, kept the place clean and were very responsive to all requests. They communicated clearly, charged fair prices for ingredients and were a real pleasure to interact with. They were absolutely lovely to our young son. -This is an huge place - massive rooms, heaps of garden space, and a gigantic pool. -comfortable beds -absolutely gorgeous space- very high ceilings, huge windows, great breezes coming off the water -great water pressure/temp -wifi is pretty good (there are two networks) -powerful aircons -genuine beachfront access The location is about a 20-30 min walk from any shops or restaurants, so you will need to have a driver to get places. You can get to one restaurant a little quicker by walking along the beach. The whole area is very quiet and calm-this is a place to come to unwind, not to be in the centre of anything.

Nous avons été merveilleusement bien accueillis par Kadek, Jro et Putu dans la magnifique villa Senja. Un havre de paix incroyable sur le bord de la mer! Putu est non seulement un chauffeur sympathique mais un guide qui nous permet de capter l’essentiel de la culture balinaise. La nourriture préparée et servie par Kadek et Jro est toujours délicieuse et ils ont le souci de toujours s’assurer que nous manquons de rien. Vraiment un superbe séjour!

Our stay at villa Senja was nothing short of magical. From the moment we were collected by Putu and on arrival we were shown genuine warmth and hospitality which instantly made us feel at home. The villa itself is beautifully designed very spacious with large bedrooms. The outdoor area is a true highlight has a stunning pool, Serene green garden overlooking the Bali sea . The birds chirping and soft hypnotic lapping of the waves made it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the quiet beauty of Gerockgak. Kadek and Jro were amazing and always ready to respond to anything we needed even finding mangosteins. They kept very well fed with Balinese delights~ the spring rolls and satay were delicious. It was so peaceful we had no need to venture out anywhere. The gardeners kept the gardens clean and the poolfree of frangipani flowers. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in North Bali with a privacy and authentic charm Villa Senja is absolutely perfection. We are planning to return soon.

Villa Senja er et "paradis" på jord. Tomten er godt vedlikehold og gartner Komang og Kadek arbeidet hele tiden for å holde området plettfritt. Det store bassenget og området rundt er en fryd både for kropp og sinn. Soverommene er store og bra med aircondition i alle soverom. Var bare myggnetting i to av soverommene - det kunne med fordel vært slik beskyttelse på alle soverom. Selv om huset og omgivelse innbyr til ro og fred så er det personalet som virkelig løfter opplevelsen flere hakk. Vi ble veldig godt ivaretatt av de alltid smilende og servicevennlige Kadek og Jro som hver dag laget mange gode retter; både frokost, lunsj og middag - hva og når vi måtte ønske. Rommene ble fint rengjort hver dag og stadig vasking og stryking av klær. De var veldig omsorgsfulle. Må også gi mye skryt til Putu, mannen til Kadek, som guidet og kjørte oss hvor vi måtte ønske. Alltid med et smil og god service! Vi savner dere!! Må regne med ca 100 EUR i transport til flyplass (6 pers + mye baggasje)

The Staff (2 Helpers, Gardener, Security) Incredibly friendly, with daily cleaning. Offering authentic, five-star Indonesian cooking. Unique Dolphin Experience Great contact (cousin) for a private, unforgettable dolphin-watching trip with dozens of pods seen in the wild. While the seclusion is part of the charm, the long drive from the airport is something to prepare for; it definitely adds significant travel time to arrival and departure days. Driver (helpers husband) is driving safely and offers a nice car with water and local insights. Cost for ingredient that helpers purchase for in-house cooking were 2-3x higher than local restaurant prices. Consider this to add to the travel budget.

Villa magnifique avec personnel très compétent et d'une gentillesse "balinaise". Le rapport qualité prix est très bon, je recommande donc vivement ce logement.

Liebe Marie, deine atemberaubende Villa ist wahrlich eine Oase der Ruhe. Wir haben schon viele Airbnb‘s gebucht, aber dieses Anwesen ist absoluter Luxus! Ein wahres architektonisches Meisterwerk! Mit unseren 3 Kindern haben wir hier 6 Nächte nach einer 4-wöchigen Rundreise verbracht. Am Ende des Gartens führt eine Steintreppe hinunter zum Strand, wo wir jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang genießen konnten. Das Haus hat insgesamt 4 Schlafzimmer mit eigenem offenem Bad, ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Billardtisch, einen separaten Arbeitsbereich im Obergeschoss und einen riesigen Pool zum schwimmen mit großem Außenbereich. Die kleinen Häuser mit Küche für die Angestellten befinden sich direkt hinter dem Einfahrtstor. Insgesamt arbeiten hier 2 Hausmädchen/Köchinnen, 2 Gärtner, ein Sicherheitsmann und bei Bedarf steht ein Fahrer zur Verfügung. An 4 von 6 Tagen wurden wir bewirtet, sonntags hatten die Hausmädchen frei, sowie an einem weiteren Nachmittag und am darauf folgenden Vormittag. Bis bald!!

Die Villa Senja hat uns in jeder Hinsicht begeistert! Größe, Lage, Ausstattung und besonders der Pool haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Miss Kadek und Komang haben sich vollständig um uns gekümmert und während unseres Aufenthaltes keine Wünsche offengelassen. Wir können die Villa uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Le chauffeur Putu, fourni par la villa est tout simplement génial et naturel, hyper sympathique.... un petit mot aussi pour l'adorable chienne cléo qui est jouette et câlin avec tout le monde. un matin au levé du soleil, j'étais sur la plage quand 2 chien errants sont venu vers moi en abboyant, elle a sauté le mur de la villa et a courru vers eux en grognant et les a fait fuir...merci à elle pour son instinct de protection et son attention. ❤️💖❤️‍🔥

This was our second visit in two years and we are heading back again next year. The gardens are beautiful and extremely well maintained by both gardeners and it’s reassuring having security present for peace of mind. Both Kadek and Jro are great cooks, friendly and are fun to be around. Nothings ever too much trouble. Rooms very clean and beds comfortable. If you are looking for a quiet, restful holiday, Rumah Senja is a must. Surrounded by paddy fields, local fishermen and a backdrop of the ocean, RS is idyllic and tranquil in one of the most beautiful gardens I’ve seen. Reading by the pool, enjoying a massage or playing billiards, RS has it all. This is what Bali was like 30 years ago. If you’re looking to party, shop or nightlife, then this is not the place to be. Wir haben unsere Villa geliebt, es war das Highlight unseres Urlaubs. Kadek und ihre Mitarbeiter haben sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert und uns hervorragend bekocht. Alle sind unheimlich nett und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Unsere Ausflüge mit Putu waren super, er ist sehr nett und lustig und fährt sicher und angenehm. Der große Pool und der schöne Garten waren das Beste an der Villa Senja, der direkte Blick auf das Meer, das Rauschen der Wellen - hach, ich will zurück!!

This was our second visit to Villa Senja and it was just as amazing as the first. Perfect for our stay with our young adult children. Kadek and Komang were just as beautiful as ever - looking after us perfectly. Martin the night security guard made us feel safe and secure. Groundskeepers work tirelessly to make keep everything serene. Putu arranged some beautiful snorkeling off West Bali National Park and a special dolphin tour. The serenity and comfort mixed with the stunning location will be forever treasured memories. Thank you - our heart is full.

Repeated visit: I really cannot describe how great this place is. The serenity, calmness and the awesomeness of the staff at Villa Senja! From Marie being super friendly; Kadek, Komang, Putu, Martin (Security) being awesome all the time; I really cannot describe the fantastic team over there other than, they are all great! One thing for sure is that for both my visits, the dog - Cleo is chained to the guard house. Cleo will only be released upon request of the guest, or the guest has to release it by themselves. The staffs will not release the dog without the guest's permission. With all that said, Marie; thank you so much for the opportunity to visit Villa Rumah Senja once again for me and my partner. What we hope is that we can always come back again soon. The serenity, peacefulness and the professionalism of the staff over at Villa Rumah Senja just makes us want to come back over and over again without any second thoughts. The villa, as well as everyone is just AMAZING!

Dankbaar dat we voor de derde keer Villa Rumah Senja mochten bezoeken! Kadek en Komang hebben ons weer ontzettend goed verzorgd. Deze dames zijn goud. Het eten was super lekker en ik heb de recepten gekregen om thuis ook mee aan de slag te gaan. De man van Kadek (Putu) heeft ons rondgereden. Hij heeft mij veel geleerd over de cultuur en we hebben ook veel gelachen. Echt een aanrader! We zijn naar de Aling Aling watervallen geweest. En Buda bakery in Lovina kun je heerlijk ontbijten, lunchen en dineren. Ook kun je daar de lekkerste croissantjes kopen. Wij komen sowieso weer terug. Marie dankjewel dat we weer op deze prachtige plek mochten verblijven! Ook staf van villa Rumah Senja heel erg bedankt voor alles! Tot volgend jaar….

Wir hatten eine wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Die Villa ist einfach fantastisch und bietete alles was wir uns vorgestellt haben. Kadek und Comang, sowie der gesamten Staff waren äußerst hilfsbereit und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und sehr gut versorgt. Vielen Dank auch an Putu, der uns bei all unseren Touren zuverlässig und sehr freundlich unterstützte. Wir hoffen wir können bald wiederkommen.

Einfach toll! Wahnsinnig schöne Unterkunft mit sehr liebevollen Personal. Kadek und das Team haben uns sehr verwöhnt. Das Essen was sie kochen schmeckt super und sie haben sogar unseren Sohn bespaßt sodass wir in Ruhe essen konnten. Wir kommen wieder! Beste Unterkunft in der ich bisher war!!

What an incredible stay!! There wasn't a minute in the 2weeks we stayed where we didn't feel immense gratitude to be staying somewhere so beautiful surrounded by such wonderfully kind people. From before we even left Marie was fantastic at putting us in contact with the staff at the Villa who were incredible and arranged us getting to the villa and took care of us to the highest standard the entire trip. We was treated like family by Kadek, Komang, Putu and the team who were all especially caring to our children. We had lots of tears when we left. The villa itself is beautiful with immaculately kept gardens and the sea lapping up on the shore at the bottom of the garden. We ate every meal at the Villa which we're all incredible! Putu organised fantastic trips and has brilliant knowledge. I would highly recommend the location of the villa for anyone wanting to experience true authentic Bali away from the touristic crowds. Thankyou so much to Marie and the team we can't wait to return!

Als we 6 sterren mochten geven, gaven we die graag! Wat een waanzinnig verblijf. De villa is super ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Een waanzinnig zwembad en direct aan het strand. Maar wat de allergrootste complimenten verdiend is de staff hier! Kadek en haar staff maken het verblijf tot een feestje! Van de heerlijke ontbijtjes, tot de hulp bij uitstapjes, de bedjes die elke ochtend weer voor je klaar staan tot het klaar maken van de villa voor de avond. Simply brilliant !!! Kadek and all the team cater for your every conceivable need. The food is amazing catering for our party including our fussy teenagers. Putu will organise trips and again very flexible to suit our changing needs during the trips, we often made unscheduled stops and putu is extremely safe, reliable and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic dolphin watching trip organised by Putu with a pick up by the boat on the beach outside our villa at better rates than were available with tourist companies. If massages are your thing then you must book to have treatments at the villa, these like everything else were better, cheaper and much more flexible. We have been lucky enough to stay at Fabolous locations throughout the world and this is the the best holiday we have had. We are coming back and if you are looking at a villa in the North this villa and Kadek and her team are simply AMAZING !!

Une villa incroyable à ne pas louper ! C'est grand, haut de plafond, très joliment décoré avec de magnifiques meubles et statues. Le jardin est magnifique, la piscine incroyable ! Mer à perte de vue et coucher de soleil sur plage de sable noire, c'est un endroit de rêve. Pour avoir pris de nombreuses photos sur place, on ne se rend pas compte à quel point c'est beau ! Merci infiniment Marie et Kadek pour ce séjour beaucoup trop court mais incroyable !

I cannot praise Marie and her staff enough for what was an incredibly memorable holiday - the place was super clean, the staff were lovely and attentive, Marie herself was so responsive. Meine Frau und ich kamen nachts um 23 Uhr an, Kadek war zwar nicht da, aber Putu, unser Fahrer und gleichzeitig der Mann von Kadek brachte uns in die Villa und zeigte uns die Räumlichkeiten. Am nächsten Morgen wurden wir mit einem Frühstück überrascht. Kadek und ihr Team waren sehr fürsorglich und haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Wenn ihr eine ruhige Unterkunft zum relaxen sucht, seid ihr hier genau richtig. Schwimmen im Pool geht immer, Zugang direkt zum Strand. Einzig der Muhezin stört etwas, wenn der Wind von Osten kommt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

This place (as we're still here for one more day) is out of this world. We come with our 4 kids of 6, 14, 14 and 15, and they've all loved it. A little bit of paradise to ourselves. The team who looked after us are amazing. They made great food 3 times a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We love spending time together as a family, and this place wad perfect. Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible! Really hard to describe how wonderful the whole experience was - the accommodation is idyllic and the hospitality was perfect! If I could give more than five stars, I would! Definitely hope to return here!

Villa Senja definitely exceeded all our expectations. The villa is absolutely stunning and all the lovely staff make it immediately feel like a home away from home! We felt so privileged to have Kadek and Kuma cook for us every day…their food is amazing! We would highly recommend to anyone who is considering visiting this part of Indonesia…don’t hesitate, book in here as soon as realistically possible! You won’t be disappointed! The villa is AMAZING. Our only regret is not staying there longer than the five days. The villa is spacious, beautifully and tastefully decorated. The pool is one of the best features of the villa and our 5 year old literally spends all day in it. Even with all that, the staff there is the icing on the cake. They are all friendly and respectful, and would be happy to do everything for our family. We do a lot of traveling and never have we experienced such hospitality like the one we received there. Thank you to all. Lastly, thank you to the host Marie for letting us into your beautiful home.

Everything went smoothly, Marie is awesome with the comms! Pak Putu: Awesome and cheerful person, he will send you to wherever you want to go and making sure that you are always comfortable and at ease. Sharing everything he can about Bali, please do feel free to ask him about the cultures and customs. Very knowledgeable and cheerful! Kadek & Komang: Both of them are always bubbly, cheerful when it comes to attending to guests, there's really no one that can contest to this. The food: spring rolls, curry chicken, grilled fish, corn fritters, sambal mata, everything is fabulous. Kadek will go out of her way to make any dishes, and everything is delicious! Komang will always be with Kadek and both of them are an awesome team. From grocery runs to sending you to ATMs, they are people who are humble and kind! There's a lot more for me to type but the experience is super magical. Not forgetting Martin, night security who is awesome too helping with emergency grocery runs if needed!

N'hésitez pas à manger sur place ! Kadek et Komang ont préparé la meilleure nourriture indonésienne que nous avons mangé pendant un mois de voyage en Indonésie. En plus de bien cuisiner, elles sont adorables et ultra serviables. La maison est magnifique, le jardin est super bien entretenu.

Que dire … une villa incroyable, un personnel aux petits soins, des repas délicieux, un guide au top, la propriétaire Marie qui répond à chaque question et rapidement, ultra arrangeante … Le départ a été difficile, pour tout le monde ! À bientôt je l’espère, villa Senja !

Wow wow wow! This place was very special!! Kadek, Komang and the wonderful other team of staff looked after us so well! Including many delicious meals, for which they only charged us the cost of the ingredients - an amazing service. We are so grateful. The house and gardens are spectacular. The pool is huge and very well cleaned and maintained. We visited with young children and the house was perfectly suitable and safe for our family. Cafes on the beach in walking distance, Kadek’s husband was available as a driver when we needed. We visited the local turtle rescue centre which was great for children (and adults too). We will definitely be coming back!!

I wouldn't often write reviews but I had to for Villa Senja, I'm not sure there are enough words to describe how amazing Villa Senja is, the staff Kadek and Komang are beautiful and make you feel like you're visiting with family. Kadek cooks the most amazing Balinese food with putting her heart and soul into everything. Petut, Kadek's husband is just as brilliant he helps plan anything you would like to do. Definitely do yourself a favor and book in now.

When we arrived we were stunned by how beautiful and amazing the villa was! It was not long before we discovered this was just the surface and the true magic and beauty was in the people here caring for us. We have stayed at a number of villas over the years, and they pale into insignificance compared to this villa. It is difficult to express or convey how wonderful our stay has been. We have had amazing meals cooked for us, enjoyed the beautiful grounds, and had many laughs and adventures. We are honoured to have had time here and shared the company of everyone here, truly amazing.

We had an incredible stay at Villa Senja. The staff worked so hard to make our stay special and made us feel welcome - a special shout out to Kadek, Komang and Putu, as well as Denny (who even made our daughter's name out of flowers in the pool water feature!). My partner and daughter need gluten free food and Kadek and Komang delivered wonderfully in that regard, delicious and safe food that was incredibly affordable (just paid for ingredients). We did provide our own GF soy sauce and kecap manis as well as GF flour. The villa is gorgeous, the views are stunning and beds are very comfy. The only drawback was quite a few mosquitoes in the open bathrooms but we didn't get bitten much. Look forward to coming back again

Kadek and Comang are welcoming us with watermelon juice. They take care of us by managing everything and to make sure that we are relaxing during our stay. So, they cooked délicious breakfasts and dinner. I recommand to book a driver from Kadek only.

AMAZING!!! Our family of 4 (daughters ages 21 & 19) stayed for 7 nights. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Kadek, Komang, Ari, & Donny with fresh watermelon juice - a perfect introduction to a week of delicious home-cooked meals and wonderful hospitality. Many naps were taken on the comfortable couch and pool recliners listening to the ocean waves. Kadek was so kind and attentive when my husband and I got sick - taking me to the pharmacy, calling a doctor, and checking on us. Putu organized tons of fun day trips to Menjangan Island (snorkel), Lovina (swim and snorkel), Buddhist temple, waterfalls (Banyumala, Aling, Gitgit), and Mt. Batur sunrise hike. He also drove us to our next place in Ubud and we stopped at Ulun Danu Beratan Temple and Hidden Garden (best free coffee/tea samples & chocolates!). He always had a bag of delicious coffee candy & water for us. Everyone was very accommodating and cared for us like family. Thank you to all for giving us the best holiday ever!!

Villa sieht in echt noch besser aus, ein großartiger Platz zum Erholen. kadek und komang lesen ihren Gästen jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab, putu ist ein verlässlicher und ehrlicher Fahrer, der alles organisiert, was benötigt wird. alles in allem ein traumhaftes urlaubserlebnis.

Wow what a great vacation and what a great team. Thank you so much Kadek, Komang, Donny, Ari and Martin! You looked after us wonderfully and warmly and the kids also had a lot of fun. We will miss your hearty laughter. We spent two wonderful weeks at the villa with two families. The villa is even more beautiful in real than in the pictures. The villa, pool and beach were cleaned regularly and were always in perfect condition. The beach is nice and fine and you hardly notice the tide here, swimming is always possible. Kadek and Komang cooked delicious meals and Donny, Ari and Martin always kept the resort spotless and were always available for fun with the kids. There are various supermarkets nearby but also various excursion destinations that we explored on our scooters. A definite recommendation is also “dolphin swimming”, which is possible here in the north and was a wonderful experience.

Both Julie , I and our friends were made very welcome by all staff, especially Kadek and Kormang for our six week stay. Evening meals prepared by Kadek were excellent. Breakfast was ample. Putu was very a friendly and accommodating driver. The property is set in beautiful grounds and maintained very well by Ari. Our only disappointment was the daily rubbish along the sand on the beach (including a couple of dead dogs). Sri the resident masseuse was terrific and knows her craft exceptionally well. Overall a beautiful property and a wonderful and tranquil stay to the stage that we are looking at rebooking for next year. Reminded us of the Bali of 30 years ago. As soon as I came upon this listing and read the remarkable reviews I booked! Its absolutely beautiful! as another review states...you pinch yourself wondering if its real, by far better than photos show. The real treasure are the team of staff Kadek and Komang these ladies Indonesian food was a delight and so delicious. I was able to learn so much information on preparing Indonesian food, these ladies are incredibly good kind people 🙏 we felt like family. they work so hard to make your stay comfortable Our hearts are full❤ Putu Kadek husband is available to drive you at any time and he is a very bubbly funny good man our trip home went so quickly we laughed so much and felt very safe. Every day the pool is cleaned the gardens cared for so beautifully by Ari, and the house has full security provided by Doni. We had Siri come for massages she has very experienced hands,you are massaged outside with gentle relaxing music, whilst the breeze comes in from the sea.

Words for once i am at a loss for once to describe:review the listing in order to do it justice! From start to finish after booking originally for 2020 but Covid! we finally made the trip happen and believe me when i say it was worth the wait ten fold! having stayed in the local area previously in another villa i honestly was blown away as we all was within our party by the place and the amazing, attentive, loving, friendly yet professional staff here! which now are family- they certainly treated us an loved us as such. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always there to help in anyway needed , such as pharmacy needs. Food was delicious so much so non of us wished to eat out, we couldn’t get enough! fresh tasty and made with love and that showed! the grounds are pristine and lush, was literally paradise. didn’t find a problem with the beach as others have stated in reviews- there is a very friendly man you see early morning collecting up the washed in plastic bottles and such. ❤️

What an incredible property. Walking into this amazing property, the 6 of us were blown away. It is simply stunning. The location is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. and we never wanted to leave. The house was wonderful and the grounds were kept in pristine condition. The pool is enormous! There's plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine and the house. On top of that, Kadek, the housekeeper was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. She would shop and cook for us, breakfast, lunch and dinner! She also organised Sri "Magic Hands" to come and do massages. This property exceeded all out expectations. None of us had been to Northern Bali before, and we will most definitely be back, and will choose to stay at this beautiful villa.

If you want to stay remote, outside the business of what Bali has to offer this place is amazing for groups or families, the staff really makes the difference and makes it amazing.

Villa Rumah Senja is a great place to stay and Marie is a very friendly host. The villa is very spacious. The staff will prepare breakfast and on request also lunch and dinner at the villa, but you can also use the kitchen to cook if you wish to do so. We didn't go to the beach as unfortunately there's a lot of rubbish on the beach. But that didn't bother us because we enjoyed the big pool and the beautiful garden. The Balinese staff members were all exceptionally friendly. We experienced an unmatched level of hospitality and absolutely enjoyed our conversations with them. Kadek and Komang cooked very delicious lunch and dinner at the villa and we only had to pay for the ingredients they used. Putu organised a day trip to Menjangan Island for us. He is a very friendly, good and safe driver, who can also drive you to a restaurant in Lovina (25 minutes drive). We can highly recommend staying at Villa Rumah Senja and hope we can come back again one day!

Villa Senja was so beautiful in so many ways. It was a very spacious house set in gorgeous surrounds….the tropical garden was so peaceful and maintained everyday by the friendly gardener. The ultimate indulgence was the enormous swimming pool that we used everyday. The highlight was the amazing house staff Kadek and Komang who looked after us with smiles and chats….nothing was too much trouble and their cooking skills were truly appreciated by our family…..you felt very spoilt having 3 meals a day prepared for you if you chose to. Lovina is about 25 mins so we ate everyday at the Villa and everyday was different & so delicious. Putu (Kadeks husband) picked us up from the airport and returned us. He also organised many day adventures for us and was an amazing driver and we felt very safe in his capable hands on many of Bali’s challenging roads. Our 5 day stay will be one of those once in a lifetime memorable family holidays that we will never ever forget …. Thankyou so much Villa Senja

Had a great stay with my family at this beautiful Villa with great caretaker and other staff. The place is bit offbeat with limited dining options nearby so a vehicle is must to move around. Everything in villa was great and well maintained except few minor facilities that were under repair but it didn't even matter overall. The place is bit far off from traditional attractions of Bali so travel time was huge, but if you don't plan to cover lots of places and are looking for a relaxing holiday, go for this place.

The pictures doesn't do justice on how beautiful this place really is. we absolutely loved this place. The ladies looked after us so wonderfully. One of the best mie Goreng we have ever had. The only downside is that we didn't stay long enough. I totally recommend this place.

I searched for the perfect place to celebrate my 70th birthday with my family, 2 daughters, 2 grandsons and sister-in-law. We certainly found it at Villa Senja. From the architecture and furnishings of the house, the landscaped gardens, the divine super clean swimming pool and bale to relax in reading a book-all was perfect. But the very best thing about staying here were the wonderful people who work there. So gracious, caring and professional and wonderful cooks as well. Kadek and Komang created a special feast of Balinese food for my birthday dinner. So delicious which will be a lasting memory. They looked after all our needs and cooked our meals which allowed complete relaxation for us. Daily massages from Kadek Sri added to the slice of heaven. And of course I must mention Putu who picked us up and returned us to Denpasar and drove us around locally. He made us feel so welcome and shared great insights into Balinese culture. To everyone at Villa Senja a huge thank you.

If your journey takes you to the north coast of Bali, Marie’s property is the ultimate. Your dream house for your period of stay. A paradise that you’d wish you had booked for a longer period. Four very spacious rooms with first class en-suite bathrooms. The entire landscape just takes your breath away. There is no need to go out and look for food as the best food on the coast is cooked by the caretaker Mrs Kadek. We didn’t know this but her husband will pick you up from the south and provide the daily outing for a fee. I’ve stayed in many Airbnb properties and Marie’s is in my top two. It is a slice of paradise.

The property itself is huge and beautiful with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Kadek and Komang took care of us so well and are wonderful people. We will miss them a lot. We enjoyed every breakfast, lunch and dinner. The gardener keeps the garden and pool looking beautiful. Kadek's husband Putu as well as those helping him whom you can hire as drivers with his car were excellent for airport transfers and excursions too. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. The beds were very comfortable. It was a super relaxing stay. It's the best property we have stayed in and very affordable. We hope we can come back again in the next couple of years

We had an amazing stay at Villa Senja! The house is gorgeous and the staff made it feel like home. Kadek and Komang are the sweetest, kindest people who made us feel like family. The food they prepared was delicious. They knew how to be present without being intrusive. Kadek and her husband Putu gave us really good advice for the day trips to do. Putu was our driver for all day trips we did and he was extremely nice and helpful. We highly recommend his services for all future guests. The villa is in non touristic part of Bali which for us was perfect. Day trips varied between 1 and 2 hours drive from the villa, totally feasible. We really enjoyed our stay and if we have the chance to visit Bali again in the future we would come back.

What an amazing villa and such warm and friendly staff. Marie doesn’t make it clear that the housekeeper is available to cook for you. And what a cook she is! The whole villa provides a beautiful oasis of peace and calm to relax. We would definitely recommend this villa

This Villa is truly a slice of heaven. I have never felt so broken hearted to leave a holiday rental as I have when we left Villa Senja. The Villa is a million times better than the pictures. Our jaws dropped when we checked in and saw the amazing pool area looking out over the beach. All of the staff are beautiful- the grounds keepers work hard to keep thing’s beautiful- security on site at night - but best of all was Kadek and Komong. As an adult I have never felt so nurtured and nourished as these two ladies made me feel. I was so sad to leave them! They knew when we needed privacy but truly cared for us and want you to relax & have the best time. We felt like royalty . We stayed with our two sons ages 21 & 17 and was nervous that we would be isolated. However we were transported by Putu to some lovely activities and we hired a scooter to get to nearby convenience stores. It’s a very different side of Bali in the North - memories of Villa Senja will stay with me forever.

You are reading this review. Which means you are lucky enough to have come upon this listing. If you do not book it, you will never know what you missed. However, all of us that have had the incredible pleasure to have stayed here, will feel a deep sadness for you!! Marie is the host and very kind and responsive, but it is in here wise choice to employ Kadek and her team. We have never had a vacation like this in which we felt so cared for and pampered. We came with very specific dietary concerns and not only did Kadek and Konmang rise to the challenge but they far exceeded it and with smiles always for us. Kadek arranged every little detail of our time while we were at the villa. Her husband Putu was always at the ready to drive us to the next authentic Balinese site and get us in on incredible adventures away from tourists crowds. The security/grounds maintenance team kept the park like landscape pristine and safe. I could go on but if you havent booked it already, you will lose out.

Ein umwerfendes Haus, bei dem die Bilder definitiv nicht zu viel versprechen! Alles war sehr sauber. Die beiden Hausdamen begrüßen einen und sind von morgens bis abends, wenn gewünscht für einen da. Sie lassen keine Wünsche offen! Sie gehen einkaufen und kochen, wenn gewünscht jede Mahlzeit. Zudem sind sie liebevolle Ratgeber für Ausflüge. Vor allem waren die Tipps hilfreich um die Ausflüge auch für die entsprechenden Altersgruppen (4 /12 Jahre) planen zu können. Zu Fuss kann man eigentlich nur am hauseigenen Strand spazieren gehen, ansonsten liegt die Villa recht abgelegen. Auch für Ausflüge braucht man immer einen Fahrer oder man fährt selbst. Ein Fahrer wird aber völlig unproblematisch von den Hausdamen organisiert. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden die Villa jederzeit wieder buchen!

très jolie villa, l'équipe est aux petits soins avec vous et ne manquera pas de vous proposer des activités. c'est vraiment un endroit propice à la détente et au repos. je conseille sans hésitation.

Wir hatten 2 wundervolle Wochen in der Villa Senja mit der Familie. Die Villa ist riesig und hat eine atemberaubende Sicht und schöne Anlage. Die Gärtner geben sich jeden Tag Mühe das der Pool und die Anlage sauber und wunderschön ist. Die Zimmer sind schön groß wie der Rest auch. Perfekter Pool und den Strandabschnitt mit schwarzem Sand vor dem Gartentor. Großen Dank an Kadek und Komang die sich großartig um unser Wohl gekümmert haben und leckeres Essen zubereiten. Und auch Putu der Fahrer , witzig freundlich und fährt dich überall hin. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und würden diese Villa mit den Angestellten jedem Empfehlen. Dankeschön!

Superbe villa. Encore plus belle que sur les photos. Kadek et koman sont 2 femmes géniales qui ont gérée la maison, nos repas.on s'est senti comme à la maison . Leur cuisine est délicieuse et nous avons pu goûter aux spécialités de bali. Un merci également à Putu, qui nous a fait découvrir Ubud. Salutations également au gardien et au jardinier. Je recommande cette maison à 100%.

Heaven on earth does exist!

Fantastische villa met fantastische mensen die de hele dag voor je klaar staan. Je mag elke dag aangeven wat je wilt eten en het wordt voor je klaargemaakt door Kadek en Komang. Je betaald alleen de kosten voor de ingrediënten en de maaltijden waren heerlijk. Het zwembad en de tuin zijn fraai aangelegd en je loopt zo het strand op. Een echte aanrader!

5+ Star service provided by Kedak and her Team. Pick up at the Airport, Food preparation, laundry Service were perfect and at fair prices. We already miss everything! Always super friendly - great people. We will certainly come back and recommend it a 100%!!

We hebben 4 nachten mogen verblijven en was mede door, het “personeel”, eerder snel geworden familie een genot om hier te mogen ontspannen. Kadek en Komang onze villa moeders verzorgden het ontbijt, lunch en avondeten wat keer op keer heerlijk was! Zelfs mochten we gerechten opnoemen en hebben we kookles van onze favoriete gerechten gehad om in Nederland dunnetjes opnieuw te mogen maken. Putu kan je ophalen en wegbrengen vanaf het vliegveld of vorig verblijf en doet dat met uiterste zorg voor zijn gasten. De tuinmannen Donny en Ketut zorgen voor de prachtige tuin en houden alles op en top schoon, zoals de villa waardig is en s’nachts houdt Martin je veilig door de wacht te houden, waarna je weer kan ontwaken in dit stukje paradijs!!! Wanneer we weer teruggaan naar Bali staat dit weer nummer 1 op onze lijst. Terima Kasih banjak! 🏝️❤️

Definire casa, la meravigliosa villa di Marie, sarebbe riduttivo. L’alloggio è immenso, gli spazi sono ariosi ed incredibilmente curati. Piscina e giardino sono da hotel 5 stelle, così come i bagni e le camere, sempre puliti ed ordinato. Ma il vero plus di questa favolosa villa è sicuramente la presenza del personale h 24. Dal giardiniere, alla sicurezza, ma soprattutto alle nostre due mamme indonesiane Kedek e Yasmini che ci hanno coccolati e preparato ottime colazioni e pranzi (il loro nasi goreng resterà il migliore dei 28 giorni a Bali). Menzione d’onore per Putu, driver attento è sempre gentile. Davvero grazie a Narie per averci dato la possibilità di soggiornare qui ed un grazie ancora più grande a tutto il suo meraviglioso staff

Absolutely amazing Villa. We stayed here for a week from Australia and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The photos really do not do the property justice and is more beautiful and spacious in reality. We travelled with 5 people inclusive of two older people in their 60’s and the youngest being 9 and it catered for everyone. The interior and exterior are amazing, pool is huge and leads directly onto the black sand beach from the garden where you can take long walks, swim and watch beautiful sunsets. What really made this villa perfect though was the beautiful staff, Kadek and Komang in particular as we saw them every day. They couldnt do enough for us, were so helpful and throughtful with everything and bent over backwards to do everything they could for us. They cooked breakfast, lunches and dinner for us, did our laundry and we honestly could have stayed and never left. They were fantastic. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

This is truly a magical place, as others have said, made even better by the splendid cooking of Kadek and Komang. They produce a myriad of interesting dishes and it is entirely understandable why guests would choose not to venture out. The four of us did go to the nearby Nalika restaurant on the staff day off and we can thoroughly recommend this too. Kadek’s husband, Putu, has a very comfortable car that will fit four people and luggage. He can take you anywhere you want to go and is an excellent driver. The only issue I can see is that it might be difficult to find a date to book the villa as it is so popular. If you see an opening book it quickly !

We loved our stay at Marie's place. The location itself is peaceful and serene and is only made better by the amazing staff cleaning the pool, maintaining the gardens, keeping us safe, and of course the two ladies whipping up amazing food and keeping the place ticking along nicely. We would genuinely stay here again whenever we are lucky enough to get back to Bali.

The villa is well located only 20 yards away from the beach. Spacious 4 Bedrooms and 4 bathroom enough to host 8 peoples. We had a wonderful weekend at this peaceful house.

Wir haben einen Monat in der Unterkunft verbracht und es sehr genossen. Die beiden Hausdamen Kadek und Komang kümmern sich um alles und man kann völlig entspannen. Es werden, wenn man das möchte, die Einkäufe erledigt, die Wäsche gewaschen und drei Mahlzeiten am Tag zubereitet. Man bezahlt nur, was für die Einkäufe ausgelegt wurde. Es gibt auch einen Fahrer (Putu) der einen, gegen einen entsprechenden Obolus, überall auf der Insel hinfährt und auch viele gute Ausflugstipps parat hat. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Villa Rumah Senja is truly paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were taken away by the beauty of the property. The photos can not capture how grand the house, pool and gardens are. There were two story high ceilings, giant doors and windows, stunning balinese architecture and paintings in every room. The gardens are immaculately kept by the lovely gardener and so lush and green. The view of the ocean is so special, with the sounds of the waves. The pool was the perfect temperature and enormous. Floating around the pool with frangipani flowers dropping beside you is bliss! There's a massage table by the pool, so make sure you book in a massage with Kadek (different from the housekeeper Kadek). She's amazing. The housekeepers, Kadek and Komang, will look after you like royalty. They will make you tea or coffee and cook you the most delicious meals on the island (for a fraction of the cost). They are such lovely women. So caring and kind to our kids, and made us feel so comfortable.

Vše proběhlo skvěle. Velmi jsme ocenili milý a ochotný personál. Kuchyně byla výtečná, moc rádi se sem vrátíme.

De gastvrouwen Kadek en Komang doen er alles aan om je verblijf aangenaam te maken. Het ontbreekt je aan niets, ze zijn zeer attent. Het is schoon en ze koken de heerlijkste Balinese en Indonesische gerechten, wat je maar wilt. De sateh kambing is een aanrader! De tuin wordt goed onderhouden door Donik. Met chauffeur Putu prachtige tochten gemaakt. We missen de Crew van Villa Senja en het relaxte leven op Bali.

This was the most wonderful place we’ve ever stayed at AirBnb - and probably will ever stay! The pictures do not even match how beautiful it is. Everywhere you look you see beauty - both inside and outside. And the sunsets are amazing! Furthermore Kadek and Komang are so helpful with everything you can dream of, and makes the most amazing food. They also really made an effort to accommodate our picky kids with serving kids friendly food. Furthermore Putu, Kadeks husband, drove us to hiking at the wonderful Sekumpul Waterfall and snorkelling at Menjangan Island. We really hope to be back to this amazing place someday!

Magnificently spacious villa, great value for money, nice rice fields for walks, and a sublime coastal setting (it was stormy!) for people who are into quiet locations off the beaten track. The staff kept the place super clean and were just wonderfully friendly. Thank you to all but particularly to Kadek and Komang for looking after us so well and feeding us with delicious Indonesian and Balinese food - suksema!

This is definitely the most favourite villa I have ever stayed until now. Marie is very responsive. The moment we walked in, even at night when we couldn't get the whole picture of scene, we still felt so awe, it is so spacious, nature, big pool, with the background sound of waves. Amazing and give us a serene and peaceful feeling. Morning view even more beautiful, we can clearly saw the garden and beach, much better than the photos. Once we settled we were too cozy to go out anymore. All of the staffs there are so helpful and friendly. Thank you Kadek and Komang for being taking care us with all incredible services and delicious cooking. Also a friendly and polite Donny the gardener. We all felt such a warm welcome from them and leaving us with a very memorable vacation. We will definitely come back next time. Thank you Marie

Marie’s villa was a dream! We were together with our older parents on a 4 night family trip. The villa was absolutely beautiful (even more so than in the pictures), with direct access to a black sand beach, clean, and spacious. We felt we could stay in there all day relaxing across the various spaces, using the swimming pool (large enough for laps) and playing pool. The ground staff Kadek and team made our vacation fuss-free - she coordinated transport, in-house masseuses, trips, and cooked delicious Indonesian meals at our request (from breakfast to dinner)! Some cons - the area is 3-4 hours away from the airport and generally quite remote.The nearest attractions are lovina beach with dolphin watching, with temple/ hot spring about 30min away and twin lakes about 1 hour away. There are also very few food options nearby (but villa staff made great food). It is a very different type of vacation than what you'd experience in the Seminyak! But would absolutely recommend.

Beautiful home with tons of activities for our family to explore from sea swimming, pool swimming, rice paddy walkabout and indoor activities (pool and board games etc). The house was as exactly as described and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The place has got it’s own history when the Kids found a VOC canon overlooking the beach. The care takers, Kadek and Komang - very nice ladies and cooked for us scrumptious Balinese dishes (tuna and chicken sate) and understood our requirements for halal food. They made us feel very much at home. Thank you Marie and Villa Rumah Senja team!

What an amazing place to stay. Thank you to Marie, Kadek and the team. You made our stay very special. The facilities where exceptional which gave us an opportunity to truly relax and enjoy our holiday. It was a little out of town which we didn't mind as it gave us the opportunity to hire a scooter and do some of our own exploring. We will definitely be back.

Wow, what a villa. Communication with Marie was excellent, fast and very friendly. The team on site is a dream team, you feel immediately welcome and very pampered. Both the housekeepers Kadek and Komang as well as the gardeners Donik and Ketut and the security Martin, all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We miss them already. The villa itself is rather better than in the photos. The view is fantastic, the huge pool is an absolute highlight, the garden is huge and very well maintained, the interior of the villa is very tasteful. The whole stay was just fantastic and the departure was hard. The villa is in a quiet area, you need a vehicle or let Kadek organize a car with driver. Worked out great every time. There are no restaurants in the area, to Lovina - with many restaurants - you drive about 25 minutes. We often ate in the villa, Kadek and Komang cook excellent food. Thank you for the great stay.

We stayed in Villa Senja for four nights in October. It is a luxurious villa on the beach open to nature and the sea breezes. We never left the villa once we got there. Two of the bedrooms overlooked the pool, gardens and the sea. So we went to sleep with the sound of the waves lapping the shore and woke up with the view of the pool with it's overhanging trees and the sea beyond. Our family of six congregated around the dining table in the open area around the pool. Kadek and Komang took care of all our needs. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners were wonderfully served. We enjoyed the spaciousness, the indoor outdoor nature of the villa, the decor, the view from the entrance through the gardens to the sea, and the overall pleasant atmosphere. The pool was fabulous and cleaned carefully daily. We could walk in the gardens and sit next to the sea enjoying the sunsets and the local beach activities. Transport was arranged by Putu, husband of Kadek, which was most convenient. All the staff were very friendly and caring. The only thing I would like to suggest is that it being Bali, it would be nice if they had a jetspray for the toilet as well. And please be prepared for the inevitable mosquitoes and other insects. Altogether, the warm hospitality and wonderfully lush surroundings made our stay that much more memorable.

Die Villa mit ihrem wunderschönen Garten ist einfach ein Traum. Auf den Fotos sieht es schon wunderschön aus aber wenn man dann vor Ort ist, verschlägt es einem die Sprache. Wer, wie wir, einen ruhigen Ort sucht ist hier genau richtig. Ob Kochen, Wäsche waschen oder Pool reinigen, dass Personal kümmert sich um alles. Unbedingt sollte man für ca. 10€ eine Massage in der Villa buchen, herrlich. Da die Villa etwas abgelegen ist sollte man sich auch einen Scooter mieten. Je nach Größe 6-10€. Die Kommunikation mit Marie könnte nicht besser sein. Vielen Dank für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub.

Het is dat je geen 10 sterren kunt geven, want anders had ik dat gedaan. wat een fantastische villa op een fantastische plek. bij aankomst konden wij niets anders zeggen dan wow wow wow. zodra je binnenstapt die je de weelderige tuin en de zee. Vier slaapkamers met heerlijke bedden en ieder een eigen badkamer. Megazwembad en genoeg plekken om of te genieten van de zon of in de schaduw te zitten. Goede wifi ( al zou er hier en daar nog een repeater mogen worden toegevoegd). Zeker niet vergeten het personeel dat er echt alles aan doet om je in de watten te leggen. Bedankt voor deze geweldige ervaring. Kan het iedereen aanbevelen!!

Superb place to relax and enjoy the Balinese way of life. The staff is super friendly and helpful and did everything to make our 4 days really enjoyable in the house and for our activities outside the house. Ask Kadek with her culinary talents to prepare great meals and Putu to drive you around in the area.

Notre meilleure expérience Airbnb depuis que nous utilisons la plate-forme. La communication avec Marie a été très simple. La villa est paradisiaque, en bordure de plage. La piscine est immense et très agréable. Les vastes chambres sont propres et confortables. L'espace extérieur est apaisant et seul le bruit des vagues est venu jusqu'à nos oreilles. Kadek et toute l'équipe sur place est aux petits soins, répondant à chacune de nos demandes (activités, transport...). C'est un endroit exceptionnel et les prestations proposées vont bien au-delà de ce que l'on peut d'habitude espérer de ce type de logement. Un grand merci à tous, nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir!

Our stay was outstanding. The villa is beautiful, we enjoyed every second. Mrs. Kadek and Mrs. Komang helped us with everything. They really took great care and made our stay awesome. Communication with Marie was easy, always friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal in unserer Lieblingsvilla auf Bali. Es war wie letztes Mal wunderschön und hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage der Villa direkt am Meer ist wirklich ein Traum! Das Meer war angenehm, sehr warm, mit nur leichtem Wellengang und schön weichem Sand mit nur ein paar Steinen auf einem begrenztem Streifen. Unsere Kinder (7 & 10) haben es sehr genossen, in den Wellen zu spielen. Der Garten um das Haus ist ebenfalls ein Traum und es gibt unmittelbar an die Terrasse mit Essbereich angrenzend einen riesigen Pool. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Vom Schlafzimmer ist man in wenigen Schritten am Pool oder nach ein paar weiteren Schritten direkt am Meer mit quasi eigenem Strand (es gibt keine Badetouristen dort, nur die Gäste von den benachbarten Villen, wenige badende einheimische Kinder und die Fischer). Die Zimmer sind super ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Das Personal ist sehr nett und sorgt für einen "Rundumsorglosservice", so dass man sich um gar nichts zu kümmern braucht. Zum Selbstkostenpreis kaufen sie nach Wunsch ein und servieren dreimal täglich das feinste Essen. Nur am Sonntag haben die Hausdamen frei und man wärmt wahlweise das vorgekochte Essen auf und kümmert sich selbst um die Hausarbeit (unsere Wahl) oder man geht alternativ auswärts essen, bräuchte dann aber ein Auto, da wir in unmittelbarer Umgebung kein Restaurant gesehen haben. Über das Hauspersonal (Kadek) kann man ein Auto mit Fahrer mieten. Alles war tiptop, wir haben unsere Tage in der Villa Senja sehr genossen und freuen uns sehr auf das nächste Mal!

Tout y est parfait espaces intérieurs extérieurs, piscine, vue sur la mer au bout du jardin. Sans oublier l’équipe de Marie ,Kadek komang et Putu à l’ecou de nos souhaits et si bienveillants qui ont rendu notre séjour très agréable entre repas balinais et visites de la région. We'd stayed in Villa Senja for 5 days, and I must say, they were the best 5 days of our entire vacation!. They offer way more than they project. The view from the villa is mind-blowing. The rooms are well maintained, spacious and very tastefully decorated. Kadek and Komak are the sweethearts. They take care of all your needs, just like family! They ensured that we had a comfortable and memorable stay there. I just wish we could have stayed longer. I still have a hangover of that place; the serene sea vie, the beautiful sunrises, the gorgeous sunsets... The only drawback was the distance from the airport. But the scenic view and the awesome property pretty much compensated that.

If I could, I’d give this place 6/5 stars. Some listings can sometime not live to expectations, but this place blew me away. I was initially worried about how secluded it might’ve been, but the villa was so luxurious, spacious, and calming that most of the time we were okay with no plans. The weather in North Bali is a bit cooler than Canggu during the morning and night so it felt very comfortable. Being in front of the beach made everything feel so relaxing, and reminded us to slow down, although I wouldn’t go out swimming in it. The lovely attendants, Kadek and Koma, made feel so welcomed and taken cared of. Figuring out where to eat can sometimes be more work than you think, so it was amazing to have them make such fresh, authentic Indonesian dishes for us to try! They truly made feel us feel like family and I will always remember their generosity. I also appreciate the gardeners and nightly security as they also take great care of the property. The villa is about 30 mins drive away from Lovina Beach where you can go dolphin watching and snorkeling, and about an hour drive to waterfalls. There’s also a hot spring nearby. We were sad that we booked a short stay, and will plan to come back soon for a longer one.

This is a superb resort. Well worth the reasonably long drive from the airport. We came in as Covid was easing and the team there worked very hard to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Huge space, stunning infinity pool, literally 5 steps from the beach, you can't replicate this in Sanur or Seminyak. So make the trip North and enjoy.

It's a perfect villa. The rooms are very spacious and artistic with beautiful garden and wonderful pool. The views are astonishing, you will enjoy the sunrise in the morning, crystal ocean in daytime and fascinating sunset. You can also enjoy rice field with mountain background in front of villa. All the staffs are friendly and helpful dan make sure all in order, clean and enjoyable. I definitely will refer this villa to my friends and come back again one day. Thank you Marie.

We stayed 11 nights in the beautiful villa (2 adults, 3 kids). This is the perfect villa to relax. It is really spacious inside and the garden is amazing, especially with the ocean view. Our family loved to explore the many different places where we could relax, sleep, play board games, or read a book. The pool is large and excellent to swim in, as it goes from shallow to quite deep at the end ( about 2m deep) The two ladies Kadek and Komang really made sure we were taken care of very well. Kadek is a great cook too. Her lumpia's and "ayam bakar" were our favorites! The garden is maintained a few times a day and is in perfect condition. I highly recommend to stay here!

What a dream villa! Marie's place is so inviting and absolutely stunning. The beds are incredibly comfortable. I absolutely loved all the authentic artwork and details. The pool with the beautiful tree and buddha statues around were my favorite. Also the beach out front is by far the nicest in the area. Kadek and the team made us feel like family and were always ready to help us in anyway they could. I highly recommend this place!

Deze villa is een stukje paradijs op aarde. Alles is heel netjes schoon en overal is aan gedacht. Een prachtig aangelegde tuin met een heerlijk zwembad. De mensen die daar werken doen er alles aan om het verblijf goed te laten verlopen en het ontbijt was heerlijk! Erg goede en makkelijke communicatie. Wij hebben heel erg genoten van deze plek. Het ligt wel iets ver weg van het dorp maar dat vonden wij juist erg fijn. We hebben scooters gehuurd (werd ook voor ons geregeld) en dan is alles prima te bereiken. Kortom; wij zouden heel erg graag nog eens terug gaan!

This is probably the best holiday house I've ever stayed in. It is huge, well furnished and comfortable. The garden and pool are fantastic. The staff are helpful, attentive and friendly, and although they are always around, they are inobtrusive. They cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for us, and the food was excellent. They helped us arrange anything we wanted to do. Although the house is right on the beach, the beach is not that appealing, with dark sand and lots of rubbish. Listening to the waves was enough for me though. Note this house is very remote. It's about 15 minutes walk down a track to the nearest village. It's not the place to go if you want busy night life on your doorstep. It's a great place to relax with family though, slow right down, and enjoy amazing Balinese food weather and hospitality.

My family and I absolutely LOVED staying at the Villa. The staff made sure our every need was taken care of, and the food was incredible. Even better then going to a restaurant in Bali in our opinion! Fresh cut fruit after every meal, fresh juices, breakfast, lunch and dinner, could not get any better than this! The house and amenities are amazing! This is not a place to go if you are looking for beach time. Unfortunately, we felt there was too much plastic waste to swim, or even hang on the beach. But who needs that when you had an oasis with a pool and beautiful gardens. We were sad we had to leave.

Would highly recommend Marie’s villa! We stayed for seven weeks over Christmas/New Year and were already planning our return trip before we left. Amazing hospitality, the food is delicious, and the villa is so comfortable for a family.

Great and beautiful villa, very clean, spacious and tranquil. Rooms were huge and comfortable with air conditioning and private bathrooms for each. A filtered water machine is provided as well as cups and small refrigerator in the main area of the villa.The staff was amazing! Very helpful and attentive! Kadek helped schedule a driver everyday we needed one, and really helped answer our many questions and requests, can't thank her enough! Close to many little shops and street vendors and a franchise grocery store called pepitos is only a 5-10 min drive away if you need snacks or things to cook meals (I'm sure the staff would have helped with grocery shopping but we preferred to do it ourselves).One thing to note is to be mindful of the location. This is VERY far from major tourist sites. On average it was a 2-3 hour drive to most attractions. Not at all the fault of the villa or staff but good to know if you're not familiar with Bali.

Well, what can I say. If you want to be treated like royalty, pampered, relaxed, be at peace, this is the place for you. My family and I spent 1 week here, and it was not enough. The staff are very friendly, helpful, polite and discrete. The house is amazing. The location is amazing. Thankyou so much, we will definately recommend this place and will return.

This is an extraordinary beautiful location at the Lovina cost close to Seririt. Everything for relaxing days is there. You do not have to care about anything, even food is organised and prepared by two very nice and good cooks. The beach is unfortunately not very clean but swimming is possible. For this who do not want, there is a large infinity pool. There is also a restaurant and bar in walking distance but they also pick you up at the villa for this who do not want to walk.

Nous étions un groupe de 7 amis ! Comment vous dire que ce séjour était parfait ? La villa Senja est un petit paradis sur l’île des dieux ! Dès notre arrivée à l’aéroport nous étions tout de suite à l’aise grâce au mari de Kadek ! Mais qui est Kadek ? Accompagnée de Coma, se sont deux femmes juste exceptionnelles qui seront là pour vous tout au long du séjour ! Entre les repas savoureux, les réservations de scooters, les réservations de massages et bien sûr l’entretien de la maison, vous ne pourrez pas rêver mieux ! Pour parler du logement en tant que tel, les chambres sont très belles et les salles de bains à tomber par terre ! Le grand billard placé dans le salon apporte son charme (et beaucoup de partis intenses lol). La piscine est réellement exceptionnelle sans parler de la beauté du jardin qui l’entoure. Proche de Lovina, il est très facile de se déplacer en scooter pour trouver des restaurants, des bars et également des stations d’activités nautiques. Kadek vous montrera avec plaisir les plus belles activités autour de Lovina! Meme si le chemin depuis l’aéroport de Denpasar peut être un peu long, vous ne serrez pas déçu à l’arrivée (et les paysages sont incroyables)! Merci encore pour ce séjour qu’on ne pourra jamais oublier !

I have nothing but praise for Marie the owner, the two beautiful sevant hearted ladies working there and the house and grounds. A real haven. Lots of outdoor places to relax in, beautifully kept gardens and pool with a sea view, and all spotlessly clean. It was the perfect place for my friends and I to get away. I hope I get to stay there again.

Villa paradisiaque et jardin sublime. Ce séjour était parfait et très reposant. La villa est grande, bien équipée, très jolie et la piscine vraiment exceptionnelle. Le jardin est très bien entretenu avec de nombreux arbres, dont des frangipaniers qui embaument l’atmosphère. Sur 9 nuits, nous avons pris quasiment tous nos repas à la villa. Kadec et Koman sont d’excellentes cuisinières. Elles ont grandement contribué à faire de nos vacances un moment apprécié et chaleureux. Nous avons rien eu à nous occuper. Elles géraient tout : repas, linge, propreté, organisation des sorties, organisation des massages à domicile... bref, c’était idyllique. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette villa. La communication avec Marie, la propriétaire a été très facile et en français. Un séjour sans faute. A noter en plus que nous n’avons pas eu une seule goutte de pluie en juin.

Die Villa Senja ist ein Traum. Sie ist der Richtige Ort um zu relaxen und zu entspannen. Wir waren zwei Familien (4 Erwachsene und 4 Teenager) für 7 Nächte in der Villa. Die Angestellten Kadek und Komang geben sich große Mühe es den Gästen recht zu machen. Das Essen schmeckte super lecker und alles war sauber und gepflegt. Auch der Pool und der Garten wurden jeden Tag gepflegt. Die Villa liegt abgelegen, was bedeutet dass man einen Fahrer braucht oder sich einen Roller leihen muss wenn man irgendwo hin möchte. Auch darum kümmern sich Kadek und Komang. Die Fahrer waren alle super. Der Massgeservice ist hervorragend und kommt in die Villa. Auch der Wäscheservice ist wunderbar. Die Wäsche bekommt man sauber und gebügelt wieder zurück. Wir können die Villa auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und würden jeder Zeit wieder buchen.

The villa was absolutely exceptional - no other words! The pool is huge and clean. The area around the pool is very nice and functional. The living room is beautiful and we had so much fun playing pool every day! The bedrooms are very nice - there are 2 double bedrooms with a pool view, one double bedroom near the entrance and one 2-single bed bedroom near the living room. All bedrooms have their own bathrooms (open-air ones - which is very common in Bali). The sea and beaches are unfortunately a little dirty in Bali as people throw plastic everywhere - however our little patch of beach was cleaned every day! The service is absolutely exceptional - Kadek and Komang are two angels. 5 star service - no less! They both made sure all your requests were fulfilled. They are excellent cooks and the food was delicious - we were more than happy to eat in the villa every day! Kadek is also very happy to arrange trips for you - we did the dolphin watch and the Mont Batur hike. Kadek also arranged for a masseuse to come in the villa which was amazing - the masseuse was very good, and prices are so cheap (around £10 for a whole body full hour massage). I recommend this place 100% - don't hesitate to book it if you want to spend time in the North of Bali.

My second time staying at this villa and I highly recommend it. The staff is absolutely fantastic and gives you your own space but is readily available and at your service. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach and swimming into the sunset is an experience you don’t want to miss. The sunrises are epic and the house is very large and can sleep eight people comfortably. Quite possibly one of the most beautiful villas in Bali. We will definitely be back. Marie is a wonderful host who is kind and accommodating. A five star stay ~

Villa Senja is an amazing house with the beautiful garden and big pool. We were 7 adults and two small kids staying for 6 days, and we all loved the place. Komang, the housekeeper, and the rest of the staff was very kind, helpful and kept the villa and garden clean and tidy. Komangs balinese cooking was absolutely delicious. The 3,5 hour travel to the north side of Bali was also a nice experience with beautiful nature and winding roads through small villages. We highly recommend Villa Senja and would love to come back.

The villa is a dream: generously-sized bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious, clean and tastefully furnished indoor and outdoor living areas, located right on the sea shore. It was always possible to find a quiet, shady space to lie in the beautiful garden, listening to the gentle sound of the waves. The house is well away from traffic noises, and we relished the peace and quiet. By car or motorbike it’s just a few minutes to the main coast road, from where we were able to discover most parts of the island on day tours by car. Unfortunately, the beach in front of the villa is rather unattractive and strewn with trash (therefore suitable for walking only) but the swimming pool is huge, and more than compensates for this. We were warmly received by the staff, Kadek and Komang, and their smiles accompanied us throughout our stay. Indeed, they endeavoured to read every wish off our lips. The daily breakfast and dinner were excellent, and we mostly didn’t feel the need to try out the local restaurants. Transport from and to the airport went without a hitch, and Kadek kindly arranged the hire of motorbikes and a driver with car for day tours.

It was just as beautiful as the picture shows. Or actually it was even more beautiful. Everything was very comfortable and we didn’t have to miss anything. We enjoyed good massages and good food!

A dream property and villa. Marie and her team were amazing hosts. Everything that we could have wanted was taken care of. The villa is exactly as in the pictures and Marie communicates very clearly and quickly about anything needed. My wife and two children (ages 1 and 3) spent more than 2 weeks at Villa Senja and could not be more happy with our experience. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. We arranged for all meals to be cooked and had massages every 3-4 days at a very reasonable cost. We felt like we were at a resort only it was our very own villa. Kadek, who is a local and is in charge of the day to day cooking, cleaning and overseas the grounds keepers and security was truly amazing. She answered any and all questions about what to do locally. I loved the infinity pool and cabana to read and relax during the day and evening. There seemed to be too much space for our family to enjoy all of the outdoor loungers and sitting areas, but we certainly tried to take advantage. You could here the waves crashing in your rooms if you kept the doors open. It is remote, but we wanted true Bali and to be away from all of the hustle and bustle. However the town of Lovina with some shops and restaurants was about a 20 minute drive. Lastly when both of our young boys came down with a severe sickness Marie and Kadek went out of there way and called a doctor to the house who was able to provide the proper care for our kids. All in all an amazing 5-star experience. Would love to return. Thanks Marie and Kadek!

What can I say. The photos do not do it justice. This was a dream villa, in a Remote area. Access to the beach, was at the end of the garden. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. They organised motorbikes, drivers, Balinese massage and special fruits. They made delicious nasi Goreng too. This is a rather remote area 20 mins from Lovina. However getting a driver was easy and only cost around £10 for 6 of us. I can’t wait to book for next year Thank you to Marie and all the staff

Marie’s villa is nothing short of spectacular. She went out of her way to accommodate us and her staff go above and beyond. I have stayed in over 70 Airbnb’s and this is by far the nicest one. I don’t think that the pictures do this place justice. The pool is huge and clean and Ultimately refreshing. The sound of the ocean is soothing and the gardens are all very well kept and manicured. We had Everything we could ever ask for and more. There is many spots in the yard to lounge and relax and staff are excellent cooks. Marie is by far the best host I have ever encountered on Airbnb and I highly Recommend her villa to anyone traveling to north Bali. Thank you so much for hosting us Marie. What a beautiful way to end our trip to Bali. Oh the rooms are nice too beds are super comfortable and all of the furniture is gorgeous and the art is very well chosen! Couldn’t say enough good things about this place.

Ils ont organisé tous nos déplacements et certaines réservations dans les restaurants… Les repas préparés par leurs soins à la villa étaient succulents… Bref séjour inoubliable !!! More than an amazing villa! Everything was perfect and the awesome staff made our stay unforgettable!

Everything was perfect during our 3 night stay at Senja Vila. From the first second Kadek and Komang made us feel like if we were at home, their hospitality is outstanding and they tried their best to accommodate all our needs. They coked us amazing homemade food that was delicious. The fact that there was a security guard was also a plus. They prepare a pick up for us at the airport and the kind driver was really flexible and allowed us to stop in many spots during our way to the Villa and also on the way back. The Villa is stunning, even better than in the photos, specially the outdoor space with the amazing swimming pool and the dinning and relaxing area. Rooms are also great with supper comfy beds and spacious bathrooms. Everything was comfy and clean. We do not have enough words to describe this paradise. We are already missing it! Hopefully we can get back soon! Thank you to all staff at Villa Senja!

We stay in this villa only one night. Trust me it will never make you disappointed for its scene. But it is far from the busy street.The staffs are kind and helpful.This villa is a good place to watch the dolphins.

The villa is stunning, set next to the sea in a quiet area, not too far from Livonia. The staff are amazing, helpful and so friendly. Through the head housekeeper(Kadek), we arranged for a motor bike, a car and scuba diving, nothing was too much trouble. They cooked for us delicious fresh local cuisine, several times a day. Overall, cannot recommend highly enough.

Communication prior to our trip was above and beyond. Marie answered all of my questions very quickly and clearly. Once we arrived, this place blew us away. Our stay at Villa Senja was absolutely amazing. The house is truly a paradise and Kadek along with the rest of the staff took such amazing care of us. The food she prepared for breakfast, lunch and dinner was amazing! We especially loved the spring rolls and Mie Goreng. She also helped us book a trip to Sekempul to explore the waterfalls and it was unforgettable. Starting our stay in Bali at Villa Senja made our trip even more amazing than we ever could have imagined. We are hoping to come and stay again! Thank you!!

We had a wonderful vacation at this luxurious villa during Easter break. With beautifully designed rooms, gazebos and gardens, Villa Senja offers a tranquil ambiance, where leisure and creative projects can easily come together. Far away from any busy urban areas or overcrowded tourist spots, we were treated to the sounds of sea waves, birdsong, the leaves rustling in the wind, and quiet chanting emanating from a nearby mosque. We enjoyed Balinese massages on site, accompanied by calming melodies, and swam in the infinity pool, ending the day with a game of Scrabble, thoughtfully provided by the owners. The villa manager, Kadek, and her team were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They cooked great meals for us, using fresh local ingredients, responded obligingly to all requests, and provided reassuring, but unobtrusive security on the site. Given that each member of our family had work commitments that required remaining connected with the outside world, we were pleased that the internet connection was invariably strong. Indeed, Villa Senja is a perfect place to focus on creative work, binge read, photograph stunning nature, enjoy gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and explore surrounding countryside. While more strenuous activities (water sports/dolphin tours, etc.) could be arranged, we were perfectly happy just relaxing within the private resort-like confines of the villa. We will certainly remember the hospitality of the owners and their onsite team very fondly. Anatoly and family

What an unforgettable holiday! We enjoyed the serenity of the place, the garden, the swimming pool, the beach. The soothing sound of the waves. We managed to swim several times in the sea. It was particularly nice being here during the rainy season. When it did rain, it was usually only for an hour or two. What a joy to swim in the infinity pool surrounded by the beautiful garden. Special thanks to the staff, who made us feel very welcome from the start and took care of just about everything. Gorgeous food – we only managed lunch most days. We discussed meal choices at the beginning of our stay, that worked well all-round. At one point we needed a doctor. That was arranged for us and one came to the house within hours. My wife and I enjoyed a few massages, again easily arranged also. We hired a scooter for a few days. Nearby restaurants offer pick up and return for a small surcharge to the meal. Our compliments also to the gardeners and the security service. We felt safe and protected. In summary, two weeks in Paradise! Highly recommended.
