The virtual preview of Best Ubud Location Amazing View! 9m infinity pool was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Best Ubud Location Amazing View! 9m infinity pool painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Мы остальны крайне недовольны виллой, она находится в очень запущеном состоянии! Все старое и требует замены или ремонта. Потолок в ванной комнате течёт, есть проблемы с водоснабжением. Так же есть проблемы с электричеством, у нас отключили свет, а когда мы пытались об этом сообщить персоналу никто не отвечал по указанному номеру, и мы просидели весь вечер без света. Прилегающая территория достаточно красивая, вилла выходит на «тропу художников» .Персонал приветлив. В связи с рядом недостатков, время проведённое на вилле не принесло нам большого удовольствия! Вилла не стоит этих денег

Best location, nice Villa. Standard service

NOT suitable for children under 8 years old. View is amazing and interior decoration beautiful. Beds and linen SO comfortable. The villa is built down the edge of a steep valley! On quite a busy road with ONLY foot access (means carrying your luggage across a busy road and up stairs) and also a bit aged around the gardens and pool to warrant this price point. Also at this price point you would expect full-service staff/menu at the villa but this is not provided. Breakfast was not to our taste. Communication and care from the villa host and her assistants was fantastic and I'm sorry that I couldn't give them the review they were looking for.

Points positifs: Personnel très gentil et serviable, belle déco, super emplacement avec vue dégagée et proche du centre d'Ubud. On se sent en contact de la nature tout en étant dans la ville. Points négatifs: Terrasse de piscine sale, abri jouxtant la piscine inutilisable car sale avec paillasse pourrie, 2 transats pour 4, les bords intérieurs de la piscine sales. L'assise du canapé est sale, douche et baignoire noires (sales ou à repeindre?). En conclusion villa agréable à vivre mais pas entretenue. A ce niveau de prix c'est pour moi inacceptable d'autant que nous avions loué une autre villa à Seminyak pour la fin du séjour qui était 30% moins chère et parfaite.

vue exceptionnelle sur la végétation sans vis-à-vis. Le personnel était au top avec des super petits déjeuners. Assez central (centre d'Ubud à 10, 15 minutes à pied. La route qui longe la villa est très passante ce qui ote l'atmosphère de quiétude Balinaise.

Nyoman is so friendly, helpful and responsive. She made us feel very welcome and her staff is wonderful - kind, friendly and helpful.

Breathtaking views! Great location, cafe and supermarket directly across the road. The host Doni was fantastic, welcomed us on arrival and cooked a great breakfast. We travelled with a toddler and there are some very steep steps down to the pool so would recommend a pool fence if you have young kids. Otherwise very nice villa and worth staying for the sunrise alone!

Nyoman’s place is beautiful just like in the pictures. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the place and breakfast was delicious too. The only area of improvement that I suggest is that would appreciate if host actually is proactive with check-in and staff reaches out on time . I had a small problem finding the staff contact on an app which is locally used and requested if someone could reach out to me but I never had anyone reach out .I think it’s mostly the language barrier because honestly everyone in staff was really respectful and helpful but when I was messaging I got messages in English where the tone sounded a bit rude , lol ! I would definitely forgo that aspect provided how beautiful the villa was . Also ensure to get multiple adapters because one of my adapters broke at this place due to voltage issues. Overall the stay was good and my family really liked the thoughtfulness and the amazing breakfast.

A very nice Villa we loved our stay here. The view from the terrace was amazing. Rooms bigger than expected and the pool was awesome. It’s in the middle of nature so insects everywhere but no problem for us. The place is a bit worn down but that is expected in this environment. Recommend for the view and pool. Area was also close to everything. The cafe across the street is lovely for breakfast. Villa manager so kind and made good breakfast.

Beautiful place to stay. Amazing scenery being so close to nature. It was a little noisy due to the traffic outside. Takes 15-20min walk to Ubud Centre or a short cab ride. Restaurants within walking distance. Great having supermarket across the road. We loved all the geckos, birds and even had a frog visit one night. You need to wear insect spray to stop getting bitten. If you don’t like insects or lizards this might not be the place for you. We didn’t mind it though. It was a great experience!

This villa was very beautiful and in a great location. The views were breathtaking and the staff was very accommodating and attentive. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of the bugs and animals we encountered. Of course we are in Bali so this may not bother some. However, there was a huge spider in the bathroom one night followed by a huge lizard another night. The neighbors have a chicken farm and the chickens come to visit whenever they like. Every morning we woke up to bird droppings in the living room (it’s open to the elements as you can see) but the staff cleaned it up daily. We felt safe in the nets/canopy while sleeping as we found it kept spiders out. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed.

This villa was in a great location close to supermarket and restaurants. Staff were lovely and friendly. The villa itself was decorated beautifully and the pool was a real highlight after a warm day out and about.

The view from the villa is just absolutely perfect; doesn't really get any better than that. Overall the place is spacious enough, and all you need is there. Staff was nice and attentive.

The staff at the villa were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. In a good location with cafes and supermarket across the road and a 20 minute walk into town. The only downside of the villa was because the dining area and bathrooms are open it means frogs and bats and bugs can come into these spaces particularly at night. This is no fault of the hosts as this is not really in their control because the villa backs on to the jungle. We tried our hardest not to attract these wildlife by only having one or two lights on at night but it wasn’t possible to avoid them which made winding down at night a little hard. Other than that we loved our stay.

The villa has probably the most breathtaking views in Ubud! We were lucky to arrive when the moon was full it was truly unbelievable, like something from a movie. Indah Shamballa has a unique charm, almost like its telling a story, especially the stairs leading down to the infinity pool with the over grown vines on it, quite magical. There are some parts that need touching up and cleaning however, charming for the most part.

Its a very big and beatuliful place with wonderful view of the ubud jungle. The service in the house was great. The bedrooms are big and have all the space you need and more, and soft big beds. The open air livingroom and bathroom gives it an authentic asian lux feeling, but also brings a lot of small bugs and bats. So dont expect the standard of a typical lux stay, expect Ubud lux and you will be so happy there:) The location is perfect. Next to a big supermarket and a great coffeeplace. You can walk to the city center in like 20 min.

We did enjoy our stay at the house, mostly thanks to Kadek and Made! The positives: The house has a lovely view! We loved the large sprawling couch area you can see in the photo. Great to hang out in! Made & Kadek were wonderful with our children and it was so great to be able to leave them and go out feeling that they were in good hands! Thank you for babysitting!! Location of being across from the supermarket was convenient, if not all that picturesque. (taxi stand right there helps too!) Beds were really comfortable and the bedrooms were clean. Needs improvement: The common area could use a ceiling fan (since it's not enclosed, airconditioning is not an option!). The one rotating fan is not sufficient. When we booked the title of the house was "5 star luxury" and it's most certainly not 5 star luxury. It seems as those the house needs some repainting/attention to bring it close to 5 stars. As long as you're not expecting 5 stair luxury then I think it would be a great stay. The huge tubs looked great in the photo but they're really not usable (water wouldn't stay in them - and lots of dead bugs anyway so wasn't all that appealing).

We just loved Indah Shambala 😍 it was a truly magic experience from start to finish. The location is fantastic, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. But it’s the outlook from the dining area and pool that makes this a truly special property. Private, beautiful views, charming gardens, and perfect weather. The bed in the master (we didn’t use the second bedroom) was super comfortable and the Balinese bathrooms and layout were comfortable and very well appointed. Delightful staff (thank you Doni and Wayan) who quietly and thoughtfully made our stay just perfect. Not to mention wonderful nasi goreng! Highly recommend and hope to be back ❤️

My wife and I spent nine days in this beautiful villa. It is hard to find the words to describe all the wonderful moments we experienced here. Anyone who comes will see for themselves that everything is much better than what they read in the Airbnb reviews. This villa has everything you need to fully indulge all your senses. It features a pool you can actually swim in, a view of the jungle and all the lush greenery surrounding the villa, a large terrace for lounging, spacious rooms with unforgettable bathrooms, and so on—each detail better than the last. A well-stocked Bintang Market is just a one-minute walk across the street, which is very convenient. Doni, Koman and the team were extremely helpful, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. We had plenty of time to explore Ubud and its surrounding areas, but we probably missed out on a lot just to enjoy this wonderful villa. We highly recommend it!

We loved staying and Nyoman’s place and were so well looked after by Doni and the team. Peaceful, yet central location with everything we could have needed. Breakfasts were excellent too.

The villa has an amazing view over the jungle and was the perfect place to escape the noise and bustle of Ubud. As soon as you enter the villa, it feels peaceful and relaxing. Amazing location and view

We had a lovely few days at this beautiful villa which has stunning views. It’s extremely private yet close to everything. Nyoman was great at communication before check in, and Doni and Made looked after us very well during our stay. We had some unexpected issues with the water while there, but Made did everything possible to resolve it as quickly as possible. I’ve stayed in lots of Ubud villa and would definitely recommend this home to others.

What a stunning villa! Out of town just enough to still be able to walk. Stunning surrounds, great sunrises! Fabulous, friendly staff. Loved it!

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Wakker worden in zo’n mooie omgeving is fantastisch en rustgevend. Ontzettend lief en vriendelijk ontvangen door Doni, die altijd voor ons klaarstond. Super handig dat er een grote supermarkt tegenover de villa zit en een heerlijk eetcafé. Bedankt, we zullen deze dagen in de villa nooit meer vergeten.

Pobyt w villi Nyoman był niesamowitym doświadczeniem. Od samego wejścia, byliśmy cudownie przywitani i zaopiekowani. Doni i jego team spisali się fantastycznie. Sprawili, że czuliśmy się jednocześnie jak w domu i 5-gwiazdkowym hotelu. Codziennie serwowali Nam przepyszne śniadania i dbali, żeby niczego Nam nie zabrakło. Mimo bliskości głównej ulicy, panowała tam cisza i spokój. Dodatkowym udogodnieniem jest duży supermarket po przeciwnej stronie ulicy wyposażony we wszystko czego potrzeba. W samej villi wspaniałe tarasy i basen z zachwycającym widokiem na dżunglę i niezapomnianymi wschodami słońca. Bardzo duży salon z sofami na których można było wypoczywać i świetne sypialnie z dużymi i bardzo wygodnymi łóżkami. Absolutnie nie było nic, co można by było poprawić. To był wspaniały tydzień spędzony w tej przepięknej villi. Jeszcze raz dziękuję całej ekipie za cudowne przyjęcie i opiekę. Jeśli tylko będzie taka możliwość- wrócę na pewno! Polecam z całego serca i pozdrawiam cały team!

It was a lovely stay. The villa is wonderful and the team is great! I would definitely recommend it!

We stayed at Nyomans villa for a week as our first stay on a 3 week holiday in Bali and other islands. It was sensational! The location was brilliant, a 15 minute stroll into the heart of Ubud but several fantastic restaurants are less than a 5 minute walk away. A large Bintang supermarket and other shops, cafes are literally opposite which was so useful. You are right in the hustle and bustle of Ubud (which is amazing) but the minute you step through the doors it feels like you are in a secluded paradise. The Villa itself is gorgeous, bedrooms are huge and air con is fantastic, the bathrooms are something else!! We loved the outdoor living/dining spaces, the view of the jungle was breathtaking. What made this place extra special was the staff. Doni and his team made us complimentary breakfast (optional) each morning and this is something we have never had before. Amazing cook and such wonderful people. You must use Anantha the recommended tour guide/driver-sensational! Loved him!!

Beautiful villa with an incredible view! Out of the chaotic main area of Ubud, but still close enough to enjoy all it has to offer. Directly across the road from Bintang supermarket which was very handy. Instructions for arrival were very clear and as soon as we arrived the staff were there to greet us. It was my mother's birthday during our stay and Nyoman, Doni and staff went out of their way to celebrate it, it was completely unexpected and made mum feel very special. Doni looked after us so well while we were there, we were sad to say goodbye, thank you for the amazing breakfasts Doni, and the many requests for hotter chili for papa! :-) And Nyoman was fantastic with communication and recommendations for activities. We were able to organise a yoga instructor to come to the villa for 4 of our mornings and had 2 x private dinners prepared for us in the villa during our stay, all of which were incredible. Highly recommend this beautiful and very comfortable villa.

This is a beautiful oasis overlooking the valley and forest. Watching sunrise over Mount agung from the yard is just magical. It is walking distance to many sights in Ubud. Highly recommend.

Great villa and concept. Steep steps down to the pool may be an issue for unfit people or older people. Busy road can be noisy. Convenient great supermarket over the road. Always cross at the traffic controller. He stops the traffic. Comfy beds, super friendly staff.

Nyomans Place was a little oasis on a busy road in a busy Ubud, once you closed the door to the street you were transported to a beautiful hideaway in the jungle. Perfectly positioned on the outskirts of Ubud but close enough to enjoy all that Ubud offers. The large supermarket across the road stocked everything you need and is a great place to pick up local taxis and grabs. The boys looked after us exceptionally well, cooking, cleaning and providing local knowledge. A great place to stay.

One of the most unique stays I’ve ever had. It’s literally a huge villa on the side of the jungle. It’s a totally unique experience. The size of the villa and grounds were astonishing. The pool was huge and the fact it was right on the dense jungle it was incredible. But even so, the front of the house was in the most convenient area. Immediately opposite the biggest supermarket and great coffee shop. The area is super walkable to everything. Very quiet once inside the villa and silent by the pool. The house is very rustic and unique. Doni the villa manager was a highlight. Very kind, efficient and polite. A great place to enjoy Ubud.

We waited to write this so we could honour what we truly felt. From the beginning, Nyoman made everything seamless — clear, thoughtful communication and beautiful planning, including connecting us with Anantha who elevated our experience. But this place is more than a villa — the energy of the land is deeply grounding and sacred. Waking up to Mount Agung at sunrise (even as a non-early riser) and swimming with fireflies in the evenings with my daughters were unforgettable moments. The villa is peaceful, beautifully and tastefully designed, yet so accessible. Each morning, Doni and Komang welcomed us with delicious breakfast (the fried rice!) and genuine warmth — it felt like family. We participated in morning offering ritual with Doni. Being part of the daily prayers touched us deeply as a Hindu family. We always looked forward to coming “home.” I am not the same person who left. Bali held me like a mother — and Indah Shambala was a big part of that. Suksma 🙏🏽 we will be back.

The whole experience was fabulous. The guys who looked after us were so kind and helpful, and the entire villa was like an oasis. The location is fantastic, with the supermarket and dharma cafe across the road, excellent restaurants within walking distance (recommend Warung Palau) and also great massages (recommend Coconut Massage). We loved the pool and the whole vibe. Thanks team.

World class hospitality , matched with breathtaking views. Doni and his work partner started each morning by making delicious breakfast of our choice . We did not feel pressured at any moment during our stay , and were given our space to do exactly what we came here for: relax and unwind while learning the Balinese culture !! The villa also partners with one of the best tour guides we have ever had in Divina Bali tour . Our guide Anantha was such a pleasure to meet and he was there to help with all of our needs . He spent all week helping us with with everything we wanted to do throughout our trip, and was extremely kind to our family . I would have given 100 stars instead of 5 if I could of .

Замечательная вилла, хорошие завтраки и отзывчивый пестрела. На вилле есть все, для комфортного проживания! Напротив виллы через дорогу есть огромный супермаркет, в нем есть все! Рестораны в пешой доступности. До главного храма Убуда пешком минут 20 не спеша. Мне очень понравилось, особенно просыпавший утром, наслаждавшим таким видом, это ли не рай ♥️

Wonderful Stay. Lovely spot. Nice open air space with a lush view, secluded pool, charming comfortable bedrooms, and A/C in each of the 2 bedrooms. Excellent location. Amazing warm, thoughtful, and attentive hosts. Doni is there for all your needs - with wonderful support from Komang.

Myself and my two daughters absolutely loved our stay . It was a beautiful location , near enough to get a taxi to central UBUD and opposite a wonderful supermarket . Also the Dharma cafe was great . Doni was most helpful and organised some visiting masseuse . He was so good at sorting our room out after a plague of flying ants . He changed all the bedding the following day for us . The breakfasts were great and both doni and Komang couldn’t help us enough. And Ananta was so helpful taking us to different locations and explaining Balinese culture ! We would love to come again but my daughter is having a baby next year so maybe the year after . Thanks Janet

We had the most incredible stay here. I could not fault it. Everyone was so wonderful and attentive, and the villa was absolutely stunning. We cannot thank you enough!!

This villa was absolutely magical, such a special place to stay. The infinity pool overlooking the jungle was incredible; it truly felt like being immersed in nature, yet it’s still in a perfect location. Shops are within easy walking distance, and Bintang Supermarket is directly across the street, which was so convenient. Doni was amazing - incredibly kind and helpful, with a delicious breakfast each morning and daily cleaning that kept everything immaculate. We thoroughly recommend this villa and would absolutely love to come back. A truly unforgettable stay. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely perfect Villa in the middle of the jungle, but still close to Ubud center. The staff is excellent, warm and very positive. The view from the living area and from the pool is breath taking. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a private accomodation.

Great place, wonderful help, felt very privileged to have spent time there. I especially loved swimming in the pool after dark!

This place is a hidden gem! Although it’s on the main road, you’d never know—it backs onto a stunning, peaceful forest with absolutely no road noise. Waking up to that view was incredible! We loved our stay, and Doni and the team were fantastic—so helpful and welcoming. The house was spotless and well-maintained, and we’d definitely love to come back. We stayed with our 15-month-old, and while the house isn’t the most baby-friendly, we managed just fine. Overall, a wonderful experience!

The views across the jungle tree tops watching the sunrise and views across to the volcano were magical :) Very private and secluded and our hosts were attentive and informative.. The villa is lovely, very comfy beds, stunning view. Breakfast is delicious. The situation is very convenient, close to shops and restaurants and opposite the supermarket. The pick up organised for us from the airport was perfect. As others have said the steps to the pool are steep so not suitable for young children and because you are in the jungle you need to accept the wildlife - Loved the geckos and frogs (although we could have done without the cockerels waking us up). Doni and the team are lovely and very friendly. They organised massages for us at the villa which were great. We loved our stay in Ubud.

The villa was beautiful and peaceful, with daily cleaning that kept everything spotless. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the team were so kind and flexible with our plans. It was so handy having the supermarket right across the road as well! Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the driver, Ananta, they arranged was fantastic! We even continued using him after leaving Ubud. A wonderful stay overall — thank you to Doni and the team for looking after us so well.

Was a beautiful space. Quiet and peaceful. We were welcomed by staff who were very friendly. Decor was amazing. It rained most of the time but it was still very pleasant, almost better. Communication was excellent and catered to us Well. Location good, everything walk able or cabs easy to get from a to b. Highly Reccomend. Thank you so much for having us.

We have just finished a 5 night stay and it was wonderful. The views are amazing and the villa is beautiful. Doni and the team were so helpful and made the best pancake breakfast, nothing was a problem. Nyoman was also very helpful and answered all our questions promptly before our stay. We had a great driver that Nyoman recommended who drove us around to various waterfalls and temples. Overall I would thoroughly recommend the villa.

Highly recommend staying here! The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming and Doni made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. He is also a wonderful cook!! The view is breathtaking especially at sunrise with a stunning view of Mt. Agung. The location is great with a wonderful coffee shop directly across the street as well as a well stocked grocery store. Very convenient! About a 15 minute walk from the Ubud art market and Ubud City Centre which helps avoiding the busy traffic in a scooter or car! Would definitely rebook!

The location is amazing, wonderful surroundings,outstanding villa with the infinity pool right in the jungle ,very beautiful villa , bedrooms and bathrooms with stylish furniture and design , although not far from the center of Ubud, it is very quiet ,the hosts are very gentle and attentive , overall you are spending your holiday in harmony with Ubud’s nature. We highly recommend this place.

用一句话描述这间别墅就是“极致的反差，才更让人着迷。”别墅的房间和客厅的风格特别喜欢，但是走出房间放眼望去却像是生活在峡谷和森林里，这种反差感，一种特别奇妙的感觉，每天就像在天然的氧吧深呼吸。浴室也特别喜欢这种风格，特别的别致，嗯，有点法式？我也不太清楚是什么风格，总之很不错。乌布住在丛林里唯一的一点遗憾就是各种昆虫太多了，小蚂蚁呀，啊，其他的小虫啊比较多，除此之外我觉得都非常的完美，别墅的主人和管家都非常热情，也帮我们做了特别棒的早餐，嗯，还有一点要提醒各位朋友的，就是这边是不提供牙刷，牙膏等。洗漱用品的这个需要自带，因为我出行的时候以为别墅都会提供没有带，但是和主人联系后，他们马上就帮忙。购买了，非常感谢他们。还有一点是马路对面就是冰糖超市非常的方便，想要买东西很方便，然后离乌布非常有特色的SPA馆，the putri SPA非常近，步行只要10分钟。非常的方便，总的来说是一次非常不错的住宿体验。

Doni and Kadek made us so welcome and made amazing breakfast and cleaned every morning. The place was just magic. Gorgeous views. Good air con in bedrooms. Big comfy beds. Huge bathrooms. Close to shops and cafes.

If you want a truly authentic trip to Ubud This is it ! Very comfortable ! Doni is so helpful and a great cook for your breakfast. Kadek is wonderful and very clean ! Overall wonderfull ! Only concern is traffic noise but I think that’s just the new UBUD !

We loved staying here! It was absolutely magical - the view is just incredible. We loved the layout of the villa and communal space - it’s gorgeous. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location is great - close enough to town to head in if needed but also far enough to be away from the traffic and business. Great restaurants around and easy to go exploring. Doni was so accommodating and kind. All in all fantastic - we would definitely come back :)

Beautiful views. Very private although just off the busy main road where you can easily walk to great restaurants and bars. The living room area was open-air (no AC) but there was a decent breeze so we weren’t too hot. Comfy beds. No water pressure in the shower. The host was nice but unable to set us up with yoga and local tours. I’d stay again, the place was super cool! The pool is down a couple flights of stairs so not right by the community area. For the price the place was solid.

This is a beautiful unique villa on outskirts of Ubud. The rooms and shared spaces were lovely. We walked to local restaurants and there is also a large supermarket opposite We had delicious pancakes with fruit for breakfast Ubud is busy and therefore there is some road noise in the bedrooms Amazing place to stay, thank you

We opened the front gate and walked into paradise. The villa layout, design and architecture is stunning. Top quality furnishings. Super comfortable beds. We all slept so well. We loved just lounging and relaxing on the super comfortable terrace which is beautifully shadeded with that magnificent view. A view that changes daily. Watching all the different types of birds flying in the trees. We saw kingfisher, fire flies plus many more. Beautiful pool area built into the cliffs. Perfect for a day relaxing in the sun. The location is the best. 20 min walk into town or use the easy taxi apps to GRAB a taxi anywhere in seconds. We wouldnt want to stay in the centre of Ubud. Too busy. Huge supermarket opposite for all your daily needs. Ambar restaurant is a MUST. We will definitely recommend to many friends. Our biggest love was to Doni. He arrived each morning to make us a lovely breakfast on the terrace. Doni was just superb. So helpful and friendly. Thank you for having us.

What an amazing location. The views are spectacular. Swimming in a private pool overlooking jungle. Watching the sun rise over a volcano. Absolutely breathtaking. Surrounded by nature … birds, butterflies and the wonderful crows from neighbouring roosters. If you love tranquility & nature stay here! Villa has the amazing views with two great bedrooms & bathrooms. Rustic & well maintained. There are quite a few steps (particularly to pool), so one watch out if mobility is an issue. Doni (host) was brilliant. Loved the banana pancakes! He was very helpful. Easy to get taxis to restaurants (use Gojek app) & great supermarket opposite. Overall a brilliant place if you want to get away to a spectacular location, whilst only a short taxi ride to local restaurants.

My friends and I had such a great time staying at this home. There were great restaurants surrounding the area. Doni was very helpful and made excellent breakfast for us everyday.

Our stay at this gem was absolutely amazing! The villa was just as beautiful as the pictures—if not even better in person. The staff was always available and eager to assist whenever we needed anything, making us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived, complete with a refreshing welcome beverage. One of the highlights was the stunning living room view, which backed right into the jungle—simply breathtaking! Pictures don’t do it justice. The included breakfast was a great perk, though we didn’t get to enjoy it much due to our busy schedule of tours and adventures. The only downside was that the pool was located two floors down, making it feel a bit secluded from the villa itself. However, that didn’t take away from our overall experience. We even had some unexpected little visitors (local wildlife), which added to the adventure and made our stay even more memorable! What a view! This villa is close to the action yet the minute you walk through the gate it is a serene hideaway with a stunning view across the valley. On a clear morning you can even see Mt Batur. The villa is nicely furnished and comfortable with lots of lounging space from which you can admire the view. Waking up for sunrise is a must! and with each bedroom having a view you can even enjoy the sunrise from your cozy bed. Doni and the team were beyond lovely and attentive to our every need. Staying here was a lovely experience!

The sunrise views here are absolutely breathtaking. The accommodations exceeded all expectations - the rooms are even more luxurious than the photos suggest. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. The house team was exceptionally accommodating and attentive, with the kitchen staff preparing delicious breakfasts every morning. Beautiful villa in beautiful surroundings. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcomed and accommodating. Will definitely love to stay here again when we come back for a holiday. Thank you for making our first holiday in Bali a great one!

Our stay at Indah Shambala was wonderful. It looked exactly as the pictures - even better. It was clean and comfortable, and the view of the valley and the volcano were lovely. Spacious bedrooms and baths, and the main room was perfect for relaxing after a dip in the pool. The splendid pool area is private with its own spectators view . The breakfasts were delicious. What stood out was the perfect staff. Doni and Kadek made us feel at home and never stopped smiling. We used Anante as our driver - be sure to use him! He is a wealth of knowledge and fun to hang out with. The Villa is about a 20 minute walk from central Ubud, which was a good thing. We had great meals at a few of the restaurants that were just 5 minutes walk away. A big plus was having the large grocery store right across the street. Ubud is a busy place so there is some traffic noise but very quiet in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.

Unbelievable spot, perched overlooking forest and with a traditional open plan living space, and bedrooms locked away and free of insects, the perfect balance of immersing in nature and having privacy. Hosts and staff were so kind and responsive. A truly special place

We loved our stay here. It was an amazing house. Scenery was beautiful overlooking the rainforest. The house had all the amenities we needed. Great having Bintang supermarket across the road so we could be self sufficient. Close to taxi and restaurant. It was great to have breakfast everyday (if we wanted it) and to have our beds made and grounds kept beautifully. Highly recommend staying here.

This was an awesome villa - the view is amazing and so relaxing, we had a beautiful breakfast every morning, the staff were responsive (Doni was so helpful - thank you very much!), the villa was cleaned every day. Wow! The view was absolutely stunning and it could not of been a more stunning place to eat breakfast every morning! The place was perfection handy location to a great coffee place across the road and a Bintang supermarket! Some lovely restaurants near by and close to the city centre! Doni,kadek and the team were absolutely amazing always responsive , helpful when organising drivers, transfers, food recommendations and the daily breakfast was lovely highly recommend the banana pancakes! Thanks for an amazing stay we will be back!

Breathtaking views, super spacious, very well thought out layout, everything you might need is already part of the villa. We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 kids under 7. The layout was fantastic, and the kids had tons of little areas to explore like the garden, pool, seating area. All the rooms had smart TVs connected with YouTube (very important for kids) The staff were amazing and super helpful, helping us with everything from trip planning to laundry. And kept the place squeaky clean daily. The one thing I do have to mention is that this Villa is very traditional and open air style, so nature does come inside, all sorts of nature. We weren't bothered by it as we are literally in the middle of the jungle, but it is something to keep in mind if you have very young kids.

We stayed for a week. The Villa is absolutely stunning. From its location on top of the Campuhan valley, to its beautifully appointed rooms and huge bathrooms, the gardens and the wonderful infinity pool, everything is first class and top level. The service was also outstanding. Nyoman was responsive and helpful. And Doni was the best with all his help daily. Kadek was lovey with making our rooms also. Their breakfast service was awesome with omelettes any way you want, and banana pancakes with a fresh plate of tropical fruits daily. The place has all you need. It is close to nature so be ready with the repellent spray and don’t mind the frog in the shower. It’s all alfresco and wonderful! Rooms are nicely airconditioned so comfort is excellent. It is located close to an awesome Cafe (Dharma) across the street and the very handy Bintang supermarket where we did basically all our shopping. Great spas and warungs too close by. Thank you Nyoman and team, we’ll be back!

I can’t recommend this place enough, once walking in through the front doors and down a beautiful walkway to the villa you have all the help you need! Doni was there for all our needs and we needed it because the view was breath taking! The site of the volcano in the distance and jungle with the sound of running water! Doni cooked us breakfast every morning, and the omelet’s were the best I’ve had! The beds were super comfy and location was so good! Some of the best local food is around! The ubud markets are close as well, with close taxi service!

Great stay

We had an absolutely beautiful stay at this Villa in Ubud. Donni and Kadek took such great care of us, we felt very spoilt every morning with a beautifully cooked and presented breakfast at a time that suited our family. They were so attentive and always asked if there was anything more they could do for us, being so helpful and flexible. The Villa has a beautiful rustic charm, the bathrooms and bath were huge!! It was great to walk across the street to get a cafe coffee in the morning and having the Bintang Supermarket across the road was also convenient. We walked to some great restaurants and day spas. As a family of four we would highly recommend this wonderful villa in Ubud. Thank you again to all the staff for your warm and friendly hospitality.

Das Personal hat sich hervorragend um die Villa und uns gekümmert. Dies schloss die Zubereitung eines morgendlichen Frühstücks mit ein - vielen Dank an Doni, der sich während unseres Aufenthalt um uns gekümmert hat und stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand. Diese Villa im balinesischen Stiel können wir weiter empfehlen.

This villa was a beautiful and peaceful oasis in Ubud. Very close to Ubud’s attractions and restaurants, but the property is quiet and private. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and so was Ananta, the driver. Very clean, delicious breakfast, and an incredible infinity pool. Hopefully we can come back in the future!

Highly recommend! Great experience! Even before we arrived at Nyoman's villa, the communication with the host was great. She was able to recommend nearby restaurants for our gluten free friend to get food when we arrived tired after a long flight. Nyoman arranged the pick-up at the airport with a great driver, who easily dealt with traffic and getting us to the villa as quickly as possible. The villa is close to restaurants and some shops. The staff coordinated massages for us. Doni and Kadek made us fantastic breakfasts of pancakes, fresh fruit, and omelets every morning. The villa was neat, clean, and beautifully decorated; after we would go out for the day we would come back to freshly made beds. The road at the front is busy with traffic on the way to Ubud, but you wouldn't know it in that peaceful villa. All the views are lush trees and beautiful flowers. You can see a view of the mountain and sunrise is not to be missed. The pool was extremely refreshing after some very hot days!

Beautiful property. Sitting on top of a hill in the woods, out there in the open, which comes with goods and bads. Good is you get to see the nature and beautiful surroundings. Night time is filled with small animal chirping. Mornings are welcomed by the rising sun. You get the swimming pool all by yourself. The housekeeper is also excellent who comes in and makes full breakfast. Bad is, being open space, there are lots of ants near swimming pool and open areas. The building structure itself is on the older side but the decor feels very Balinese. Overall, a wonderful property and high recommended.

Lots of great unexpected things from this place. Flexible check in, super responsive and friendly villa manager (didn’t even know we were getting one), and location that was close to “downtown” Ubud and a local supermarket that was a stone throw away for all your Bintang needs. A little tip: the place is literally built next to the jungle, bring some bug spray and/or mosquito repellent. Exceeded our expectations. Would definitely return here in the future.

We had an amazing stay on our honeymoon. The property is beautiful and about a 20 minute walk from central Ubud. We visited several delicious restaurants very close by based on the host’s recommendations. The host helped us arrange a driver and massages. The staff at the villa were helpful and friendly, while still giving us plenty of privacy in the villa. We would happily recommend this property to anyone staying in Ubud

Nyoman and her team were so polite and communicative and made us feel at home. The villa was beautiful with a well maintained pool and in a good location that was close to Ubud center but quiet enough to be relax and have privacy.

That view!!! Such a lovely relaxing place to be, away from the busyness of central Ubud. But within very easy reach of places you'll want to be, and a great cafe and supermarket across the road. Friendly and helpful staff kept the place very clean and made a nice breakfast. In response to people complaining about a few bugs and lizards in other reviews... this it to be expected in a rural location and open-air villa, and we got used to it very quickly. It was nothing to worry about. But if you are anxious of these things, choose elsewhere. We were actually surprised there were very few mosquitos which was our main concern.

Une villa de rêve face à la jungle d'Ubud ! Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits en famille dans cette villa fabuleuse. C'était l'anniversaire de mes filles et l'équipe leur a organisé un accueil féérique !!! L'emplacement est unique et insoupçonnable. Vous arrivez par la route principale, vous disposez d'un supermarché Bintang à deux pas et après avoir franchi une joli petite porte, vous vous retrouvez au paradis !!!! La vue est exceptionnelle et surtout vous pourrez admirez un des plus beau lever de soleil que j'ai pu voir à Bali. La piscine à débordement en contrebas de la villa vous offrira des moments de détente inoubliables face à la jungle. L'équipe nous a préparé de délicieux petit-déjeuner et était toujours disponible pour répondre à nos demande tout en étant très discret. Nous reviendrons mais cette fois nous resterons plus longtemps pour pouvoir apprécier encore plus l'endroit :) Encore un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour leur accueil et leur grande gentillesse.

Really relaxing stay overlooking the forest. Lovely villa, felt very private. Enjoyed the wildlife and more tropical climate Ubud / Villa affords. Traffic of Ubud makes it challenging to navigate at times but this is true of any Villa - in fact being out of the centre was perhaps more favourable given this. Anantha & Je (drivers who helped with transfers and day trips) were great - Je a very knowledgable and competent driver.

Great views, location. Staff absolutely lovely. Many steep steps. Not suitable for children or those with mobility or balance issues.

Our family spent a week in this little piece of paradise! The view is so spectacular. Completely taken aback by its beauty every day spent there. The pool is amazing and the location is excellent with the Bintang supermarket across the road. We felt very relaxed and at home here. Would love to come back!

We highly recommend this home, it has so much character and charm. The view across to the ridge and gardens are beautiful. Ubud is a busy place but as you step through the gate it’s a peaceful oasis. We enjoyed the excellent breakfasts provided and recommend a great morning coffee from Darhma cafe across the road. Doni and Kadek were amazing and really made our stay. For a unique experience we recommend staying here :)

Nyoman’s place was perfect. The location was great close to everything very private and clean. Best part for me was that the villa is surrounded by nature and has amazing views. Wasn’t expecting to have x 2 (lovely and very attentive) staff member there preparing breakfast and cleaning every day, also ready to help with anything you could possibly need. That was great. I loved my stay. Highly recommend and would definitely go back next time im in Bali.

Our stay here was truly incredible. The villa itself is STUNNING! Tons of space kept extremely clean with a literal jungle in your backyard. We very much enjoyed the various areas of the house and especially the infinity pool. The staff were WONDERFUL! Kadek and the team were truly so helpful in helping us with our daily needs, from cleaning, to making breakfast, helping arrange transportation and daily massages, and even took our laundry in for us when we needed it done. We enjoyed chatting with them when we crossed paths every day. Very kind people. Don’t hesitate to book a stay here on your visit to Bali. We will certainly be back on our next visit!

Nyoman place was amazing. I enjoyed my stay. The location was good and the views and villa were amazing. Nyoman recommended a driver, and he was great along with the villa cleaners. Being a villa, a portion of it is outside, including a portion of the bathroom area. Incorporating the outside and nature into the villa will of course mean there will be some insects and lizards. If you are open to an experience of having an indoor/outdoor stay, this is the villa for you. The insects didn’t bother me much. The Infiniti pool was great and overlooked the jungle. I would recommend Nyoman place and stay there again!

I couldn't recommend this villa more. The villa was absolutely stunning, the pictures looked fantastic but upon arrival I was still surprised at how beautiful it was. The location is idyllic, if I could only wake up to that view every day! It was extremely peaceful and in a quiet location whilst just being off the main road with access to restaurants and the supermarket across the road was fantastic. Kadek who looked after us whilst we visited was 10/10. The morning breakfast was a lovey addition and both Kadek and Nyoman couldnt do any more for us. If you are staying in Ubud, look no further!

The house was better than its photos. It's very close to Ubud center and across the street there is a iggest supermarket in Ubud which is very convenient. It's very confortable house and pool is so nice. I had a birthday and they offered a complimentary cake, birthday decoration and flowers. Thank you so much. Staff is lovely and helpful all the time for your all needs The breakfast is actually delicious. There is egg and pancake and juice. However, I would love to have fresh juice smoothies and nice coffee. There is unfortunately only nescafe. A nice coffee machine would be perfect :-) ... but there are plent of great restaurants and coffee house nearby. For example dharma cafe just nearby has delicious coffee and Zest Cafe has a great athmosphere and food. If you want to stay in a tropic house you should aware of small bugs and lizzard everywhere but they are harmless. Thank you so much for the lovely hosting in this beautiful house.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! Amazing villa, service, and view. Many great shops and restaurants on your doorstep and a nice walk into central Ubud. If you really want to have a genuine Ubud experience, you won’t find better. The view across the Campuhan Ridge and valley is breathtaking, especially at Sunrise. Time by the huge infinity pool made us feel like we had the best of Ubud to ourselves. The beds were super comfortable, bedrooms large, every room had a view. This is no minimalistic modern box villa, it has a thatched roof and open spaces and huge sofa lounges to laze under cover, while the bedrooms are air-conditioned and fully sealed. The breeze from the valley meant there were far fewer insects than other outdoor spaces we visited in Ubud. We fell in love with the décor and charm of the property, it's even better than the online photos! We definitely will be back and cannot imagine staying anywhere else on our return. Many thanks to Nyoman and the team for an exceptional stay.

Tolle Villa für den Auftakt unserer Balireise. Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 kleine Kinder) haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und haben die mega Aussicht und den Pool sehr genossen. Von der Villa gelangt man einfach ins Zentrum von Ubud. Für den Transfer und Ausflüge gibt es einen sehr sehr netten und engagierten Fahrer. Das Frühstück war super, man konnte verschiedene Sachen auswählen. Fragen und Wünsche wurden sehr schnell beantwortet bzw. erfüllt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Haus war wunderschön dekoriert, aber ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Türen lottern und Bodendielen teilweise veraltet. (Achtung Verletzungsgefahr). Ansonsten wirklich tolles Design mit guter Beleuchtung und sehr gut ausgestattet. Sehr leckeres Morgenessen wann man es braucht. Tolle Mitarbeiter und Fahrer, der uns beratet hat und rumchauffiert hat. Alles in allem schönes Haus und toller Ort.

Great location. Across the road from supermarket and cafe with good coffee. Walking distance to restaurants and into town. The promise of wonderful sunrises didn’t disappoint and the view was spectacular. Roosters next door provide the perfect alarm clock to make sure you’re up and don’t miss it! We loved the infinity pool too. The property could do with some maintenance and a facelift - floorboard in the bedroom was very loose causing the lamp on the bedside table to be at risk of falling off multiple times; bedroom doors were also hard to close. Stained and quite worn bath towels were hanging up in the bathroom when we arrived which was surprising to see. Sofa and cushions were also quite stained. Note that aside from the 2 bedrooms, all other rooms including bathrooms are outdoors. Our hosts were helpful, efficient and kind. We arranged transport through the villa too and our driver was great. An enjoyable stay but not suitable if you’re wanting true 5 star accommodation.

The villa is set on top of Campuhan valley and from the villa you can see hikers on Campuhan ridge walk across the valley. The view from the villa and pool is really gorgeous and the photos do not capture the scale of the beautiful scenery. Waking up to the view and a lovely breakfast prepared by the staff was just the perfect way to start our day. The staff were so responsive and accommodating- they really tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible and we are so grateful for them. Villa is located directly across the road from Bintang Supermarket which was so convenient but we were still secluded and peaceful. Would recommend this villa for Ubud!

We loved our stay here! The host made sure we had a ride from the airport arranged and it was a very smooth check in. Dikha and the staff were amazing, and the breakfasts tasty and hearty. The location was perfect, near good restaurants and the grocery store yet felt very private and peaceful. Sunrises were amazing, and the air conditioning was welcome after long days in the heat. The pool was wonderful!!

WOW. I am so grateful to have come across this listing as my friends and I have throughly enjoyed our stay here. The team, especially Dikha & Kadek are beyond gracious and were absolutely amazing to us. Such a beautiful stay and happy that we were able to enjoy the sunrise during the mornings. The space looks exactly like the photos listed, which we really appreciate. It was very clean and the team were very attentive every day when cleaning the space for us. Nyoman’s place was very peaceful and amazing, the rooms were completely clean. The swimming pool was big and clean. I loved it so much! i couldn’t definitely see myself staying there again

Great location and living space

Great location and well-designed house. Dikha and Kadek were also fantastic and very attentive. We had a few issues with internet, air-con and power outages but Dikha was very responsive and organised repairmen very quickly to fix things. The views of the valley and Camphuan ridge are pretty spectacular (as we knew from staying nearby before) and that was the main reason we picked this place. Overall a nice stay and we hope to come back again soon.

Dikha & team had taken care of us during our stay and they have been very great! The breakfast was definitely a delightful add-on to have! The view is stunning facing Campuhan cliff. To note that there are stairs going down to the pool and it is an open villa so expect some insects and wildlife.

Oasis in the middle of Ubud - fabulous views of the ridge. Waking up everyday to that is amazing, feeling that your part of nature while also being close to all amenities. The villa is well located with walkable access to the centre of Ubud, the Penestanan Village, and lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby. The place is open and airy, and both bedrooms have nice views - and the beds are very comfortable. Dikha and Kadek - the house helps, are always polite and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for a month.

Thank you for sharing your lovely Balinese home with us. This Villa is truely integrated into the natural surroundings. We’ve had visitors from all our friends of the forest: Ants, ants, ants, spiders, lizards, frogs, geckos, mosquitoes, squirrels, a dog, a hen and her chickens, small birds and the rooster next door (perfect alarm by the way). The Villa overlooks the lush green campuan forest and you can sit back in the totally open lounge room and really take in the beauty of Ubud. We felt totally relaxed here, especially after the crazy traffic and noise from Ubud centre. Had a few problems with electricity one night, dripping shower, leaking roof and the pool area needs a bit of a renovation now but that’s expected in such a raw, authentic Bali Villa like this. Amazing vegan food options very close to the Villa. We recommend The Elephant, Dumbo, Zest and the Dharma across the road. Thanks to Dikha, Kadek (staff) and Anantha (driver) for making us feel at home and the brekky.

Book it. Picture marigolds guiding your way to beautiful gate. You walk through a doorway into a paradisiacal open air villa facing a lush tropical ridge. There is an exquisite infinity pool over which birds dart and sore. The bedrooms are indoor so no bug worriers. They are spacious, spotless well appointed. The folks at the villa very responsive and cater to your every need. We were able to bring in Masseuses with very little notice. Wonderful memorable experience of a lifetime.

Had a great stay.. They help buy a birthday cake for us to celebrate, also gave us flowers.. One thing to note, the place got steps. Pretty high steps, so not really friendly to old people.. staff are helpful & proactive in seeking that your needs are met.. they will check on you.. will help to get your ad-hoc requests done.. Overall, a great place to consider due to its location & staff.. its peaceful, private & quiet but still easy to find & walkable to places..

This was a perfect stay. Dikha made check in flawless and made wonderful breakfasts for us every morning. We loved the view and the pool was amazing. Location is great being right across the street from Bintang market, a taxi stand and an ATM. We used Ananta their driver and that was amazing. Really made our trip. He was on time excellent with communication and takes great pride in his vehicles. I had a massage in the house and to be honest I wish I had skipped that and spent my last few hours out exploring. We had a couple of little blips with the lights but it was fixed so quickly we didn't really notice. The only reason I mention it is to show how responsive they are which is so important when renting a property. It was a perfect setup for 4 people or 4 adults and a couple of kids. Bali is beautiful, the house was beautiful. Wish I could do it all again. Perfect stay!

Amazing villa, host, staff and location! We absolutely loved our stay and did not want to leave! The host was very responsive, and the staff at the villa were so great! Breakfast is prepared for you every morning, and Dikha helped with spa reservations, dinner suggestions, a wonderful house manager! The house itself is beautiful, large rooms, amazing pool and view! It’s across the street from a grocery store and a 20 minute walk or so into town (downhill and then uphill both ways but not steep). Being so centrally located was very convenient and the villa is still pretty quiet. We would not hesitate at all to stay here again!

This was truly one of the best places we've ever stayed. The villa itself is beautiful and very comfortable. The bedrooms are very cozy and are sealed to nature with AC. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. It's got an excellent view of a valley, ridge, and distant volcano which we loved watching the sunrise over. The location of the villa is also great. There is a coffeeshop, a grocery store, and ATMs just across the street and several good restaurants within a short walking distance. The center of Ubud is within a 10 to 15 minute walk, though many taxis are also available. The staff came over every morning to make a delicious breakfast and clean the villa. They were so kind and wonderful and took great care of us. They also helpfully matched us up with a driver who kindly planned and drove us to a number of excursions for us both around Ubud and beyond. We're so grateful to the staff who made our trip to Bali a one of a kind experience

Nyoman's villa is wonderful, a real slice of paradise. We couldn't get over the view - such incredible scenery to wake up to every morning. We were very lucky with the weather, and as our son is an early riser, we had the good fortune of watching the beautiful sunrise over the ridge every morning. The location was perfect for us - about 20 mins walk into central Ubud, but loads of great restaurants and cafes near by. Dharma coffee shop just opposite is great for a coffee and some yummy food, and having the supermarket so close was very helpful. Dikha and Kadek, the villa staff and managers, are such lovely and kind people, and were very responsive with all of our questions. The only thing we hadn't realised was how steep the steps to the pool were, and with a toddler who has not long learned to run we really had to keep our eyes on him. A wonderful stay and we would love to stay again in the future!

Perfect 4 days... our stay was everything we had hoped for. The Villa, pool and outlook were stunning. We spent a lot of time enjoying the space and pool. Dikha looked after us so well, breakfast was lovely and we had all the privacy we needed. The location was perfect, very secure and a short walk to our favourite yoga studio and restaurants. We can't wait for to be able to return. Nyoman and Dikha were the perfect hosts, can't wait to be able to return. Thank you for sharing your wonderful Villa.

Absolutely magnificent! The views are out of this world! So local to Ubud centre. The people working there are beautiful, hospitable and kind. We are grateful for our time spent here and will be back.

This place was really beautiful and spacious. The staff was wonderful! Worth noting that we’ve stayed at some jungle villas before in bali and this one, by far, had the most “friends” (ants, ants, ants, frogs and geckos). They’re there. But they’re not all over your things, you are comfortably protected from it all in your room. The breakfast was on the lower end of the breakfasts we’ve been provided at our stays in bali so far. Ultimately good location - accessible to ubud central but outside of the chaos, which is nice. Beautiful views. Friendly and helpful staff.

A long review, but perhaps this will be helpful to those looking for an AirBNB in Ubud. This villa in Ubud is exceptional. Let me explain a bit. My wife and I rented the villa for 2 weeks in March 2023. Hotel vs AirBNB: Maybe you want on-site restaurants, front desk help, or other amenities. Personally, I like having a full size fridge, a little bit of elbow room and avoid the group food buffet. Location was great, and right across the street from super market. But once behind the doors, it was quiet and felt like an escape. Clean, beautiful views … you’ll love it. Care and kindness: Can’t say enough wonderful things re: Dikha and Kadek, the 2 house managers that spent extra time to ensure that everything was tip top. We were able to schedule breakfast at different times based on our activity schedule. And on 2 evenings, we arranged for Dikha and Kadek to prepare a seafood dinner and Balinese pork dinner. Reaching my 1000 character limit, otherwise I’d write more.

Quite simply breathtaking and beautiful, central to town with the most amazing jungle sunrise

Our stay was ABSOLUTELY fantastic. Words cannot describe this place and the care and kindness from the staff-Dikha and Kadek! We spent 5 nights here-2 couples. It was so great we had enough time to sightsee but also lots of time to enjoy the villa, because once here, it’s hard to want to leave- the pool, the ambiance, the nature, the sunrise! We asked the staff to organize for us a chefs dinner in our villa (which was Indonesian and absolutely wonderful), massages (everyday as it’s so good and very affordable!), floating breakfast (we had amazing breakfast prepared everyday but one morning we had floating breakfast inside the pool which was so special), a private yoga class (again - affordable and the villa open space is perfect for it!) our daily transport, laundry (ready in no time!) ordering in or getting something from the supermarket across the street (like extra wine- Dikha is the best :)) I was crying to leave, and I promised to myself to be back 100000 percent! I looove you!!!!

Loved staying at Nyomans! Despite being close to everything it was peaceful looking over the jungle. Beds were comfortable and breakfast that was cloned for us daily was great, only thing I can recommend is that the pool could do with the mould removed and the pool furniture/umbrellas could do with an update.

This property was so amazing. The view is to die for! You really have to see it in person, we were shocked. Nyoman was always very friendly and quick to respond to any requests etc. Dikha and Wayan were always so respectful of our privacy and very friendly. They prepared us a delicious breakfast each morning. The location was very handy being so close to the shops. Once on the property it is your own haven. It was relaxing sitting in the pool watching the squirrels and other wildlife. Dikha and Wayan also did a great job helping decorate and organise a candlelit dinner for a proposal. (She said yes 😁). Anantha who is the driver they use was amazing he helped us structure most of our trip and was so knowledgeable. We would definitely stay again. Thankyou for the great stay!

The place was absolutely amazing! It is even more incredible in person and we wished we could’ve stayed longer! As it’s opposite the Bintang Supermarket we found it so easy to get around and find drivers. Although being in the main area of Ubud with cafes and restaurants everywhere - as soon as you go up the steps and onto the property you enter another world of peaceful bliss. The pool and the view was magical! The staff were lovely and would highly recommend this property!

Great place and kickass pool. Quite in the midst of nature despite facing the city side on one end. Highly recommend. Only thing that can be better - upgrade some of the furniture (esp. outdoor ones in the pool area)

For a stay in Ubud the villa offers a combination of privacy, accessibility and convenience. The two bedrooms have four poster beds with nets, AC and spacious well appointed bathrooms. The bedrooms sit either side of the open plan seating area with large loungers and a ‘smart’ TV. Behind is is kitchen with large fridge freezer. Each bedroom and the central seating area overlook the river valley with complete privacy and accessed down a few steps is the large infinity pool, loungers and umbrellas. The host Nyoman provided some excellent communications ahead of our stay and arranged transportation from Denpasar and advice on fast track arrival at the airport Day to day the villa is run by Dikha and Kadek who provide as much help and advice as you may need keeping the place spotless. Across from the Villa is a supermarket, coffee shops, laundry and spa. The town centre is about a 10 minute walk.

Amidst the bustle of Ubud, Indah Shambala was an absolute oasis. On a busy street, behind a set of steps and beautiful Balinese door is hidden a comfortable and stylish villa with the most amazing view of the jungle and valley down to the river below. After a day of exploring, it was so lovely to return to the serenity of Indah Shambala and bask in the view and take a refreshing dip in the infinity pool. Nyoman, Dikha and Kadek were great hosts. Each morning we were treated with a lovely breakfast. Dikha was incredibly polite and was always on hand to organise anything we required, including drivers, laundry and he most accomodating when plans went astray. Highly recommended as a base to explore Ubud.

Indha Shambala was truly an unexpected paradise. An unassuming place right in the midst of Ubud town, one would never expect what lies on the other side of those white steps leading to the beautiful villa. We stayed there for five magical days, and the hostess was very kind to accommodate all our requests, like the floating breakfast in the infinity pool overlooking the hills and the valley. she also gave us local recommendations. She ensured that the kids and we had a great time sightseeing in and around Ubud. The best part of the Villa is the sunrise and artistically designed gigantic bathrooms, where one can easily spend a day indulging. All amenities were super close to the Villa, including our favourite Dharma Cafe and a 24h department store. Wayan and Kadek took great care of the Villa and us - making sure that the Villa was clean and made delicious breakfast for us daily. Like everywhere else in Ubud, do carry your insects repellents. Overall a memorable experience!

Just off the street in Ubud but you’d never know. Is set back and looks onto the gorge, beautiful views. Very walkable into town it’s about 15 minutes, also easy taxi access with a rank out front. The breakfast provide is awesome, one night when it was raining we requested dinner which hosts cooked, it was so good and great value. Highly recommended.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits en famille dont un enfant de 4 ans et l’endroit est juste magnifique. la vue est incroyable, le lever du soleil est a couper le souffle… , le logement est juste parfait, décoré avec soin, rien n’est laissé au hasard, tout est harmonieux, la situation est parfaite !!! Juste en face d’un supermarché et à côté de restaurants et autres boutiques et surtout proche des rizières, Monkey forest.. Tout à proximité même les locations de scooters, notre hôte nous a réservé les scooters facilement. N’hésitez pas une seconde, sauf si Vous avez peur des bruits et insectes 😅😅😅, c’est la Jungle ! L’accueil est top, la communication facile, honnêtement parfait, le breakfast au top. La piscine à débordement avec une vue magique donnant sur la jungle, volcan, et il ne faut pas avoir le vertige et bien faire attention aux enfants à petit âge, beaucoup de marches sans rampe. Encore merci pour l’accueil ! Je recommande vivement et si je peux revenir ici un jour je reviendrais !!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Indah Shambala. The house was lovely - spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and in a stunning location overlooking the ridge. It’s also conveniently located opposite the supermarket and coffee shop. Dikha and Kadek were the ultimate hosts - making us feel very welcome and cared for. They prepared lovely breakfasts and made up the rooms for us every morning and even came in one evening to cook us a traditional Balinese dinner, which was absolutely delicious (at an extra cost). We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a lovely stay in Ubud.

This home was absolutely gorgeous. Every detail was well thought out for comfort and enjoyment. The infinity pool was our favorite, as well as the beautiful bathtubs which were basically small jacuzzis. There was plenty of space in this home.

This villa is an incredible combination of both being right in the center of Ubud but a million miles away once you are inside. We were very sad to leave after only two nights, if we had known how incredible it was from the start, we would have reworked our entire Bali itinerary. Dikha and Kadek were discreet but attentive, polite, and very wonderful at taking care of us. While we did not meet Nyoman, she was a great host who checked in on us at all the right times, and was attentive and quick to reply. Perhaps my favorite thing about the house is the morning breeze coming off of the Campuhan ridge. Truly this is a stunning property. I cannot wait to come back.

Indah Shamala Villa is Situated off a main road in Ubud with one minute access to Dharma coffee and Bintang supermarket as well as plenty of very good restaurants so location satisfied all our needs. it’s a well planned 2 bedroom villa with stunning view of the valley and Campuhan ridge walk. Step down from the villa to garden areas and infinity pool. Our house assistants, Kedak & Dikha ( aka. Wayan ) are 5 star hotel trained quality personnel who made our stay worthwhile.

This property was absolutely stunning. The view from the living area is breathtaking. It was also well located, just a short walk (approximately five minutes to the bridge) and a few minutes on to town. We had many restaurants that we could walk to, and also yoga and Pilates studios. The pool was stunning and despite the elevation, warm. The beds were super comfortable and the area very quiet. There is a supermarket directly across the road for ammenities. We had a beautiful breakfast prepared for us each morning.

Walking off the street you have a beautiful escape to a gorgeous villa. This was a fabulous place for our stay in Ubud. Dikha and Kadek were wonderful host and made us feel very welcome from an early check in to a delicious pancake breakfast. Being in the jungle you can’t escape a few extra visitors & surprises from your surroundings but you can not have that amazing view without them. Everything was just like the pictures, very clean and we have some beautiful sunny days to enjoy the pool.

I had a wonderful stay at Nyoman’s villa. The location is very central and a short walk away from the heart of Ubud. The view was great and staff was lovely. Dikha and Kadek made breakfast for us every morning and even arranged for Balinese massage and manicure for me and my friend at the villa at our request! Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in near the heart of Ubud and yet is surrounded by lush greenery.

Our stay at Nyoman’s was wonderful. Nyoman was very clear and prompt with responses, always good when you’re booking from overseas. The check in was smooth, despite us arriving late in the evening. Pak Dikha prepared an amazing breakfast. He was around yet discreet. Ibu Kadek was on hand to prepare breakfast on our second day. The house is beautiful. We would get up early to catch the sunrise. Will stay again for sure.

We had a beautiful stay at the villa. It is like the photos show- the view is incredible, and the bathrooms are amazing! The staff looked after us very well and we loved the location - a short taxi trip into town and a great coffee shop and supermarket right across the road. Highly recommend!

Hemos estado dos semanas en Indah Shambala súper a gusto, desde el primer minuto al último y con ganas de volver. El lugar es encantador, con estilo, decorado al detalle, amplio y al natural se ve aun mejor que en las fotos. Las vistas impresionantes y los sonidos de la selva hace que te sientas conectado a la naturaleza. Las camas son de 10, se descansa mejor que en casa y los baños amplios y reconfortantes. El servicio y atención de Dikká y Kadek excelente , te preparan el desayuno a tu gusto y con todo detalle y se encargan en todo momento de que tu estancia sea perfecta. Se puede ir al centro de Ubud dando un paseo. Justo delante de la calle hay una cafetería buenísima, al lado un supermercado y a 5 minutos andando te puedes encontrar el Zest y el Elphant para comer o cenar ( restaurantes con encanto ) Especial mención a la piscina, una maravilla. The house was lovely. The pool was gorgeous. The beds were super comfortable. The staff were very helpful. All in all a wonderful stay. We also liked the location as it was close to lots of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.

몇년만에 온가족이 함께 일출을 맞이하게 해준 너무나 매력적인 숙소! 밤늦게 도착했을때도 너무 따듯이 맞아주고, 아침에 일어나 거실에서 본 밀림뷰는 말 그대로 환상적이었던... 시골이라 살짝 벌레는 있지만 모기는 별로 없었고 욕실에는 개구리가 나오기도 했지만 이마저 낭만적이게 느껴졌던~ 평생 기억에 남고 나중에 다시 또 오고 싶은 훌륭한 장소였슴!!!

If you love remoteness and tranquility but you don't want to stay too far away out of nowhere...this is one of the best place to stay in Ubud. Just across the villa's gate you'll see a supermarket and a coffee shop. The neighborhood is rich with few interesting places such as art gallery, restaurants, etc. But once you're inside, with a majestic view of Tjampuhan Hill and valley, you'll forget that you are still nearby to everything. This might be the place where you'll spend most of your time in Ubud.

This is a breath taking place! Beautifully decorated and the views are unmatched in Ubud. The staff (Wayan and Kadek) are wonderful and very helpful! They do an amazing job keeping it clean and comfortable despite it being outdoor living. It is elegant and stylish so much so that I wish I could have shipped the decor home! The reliable WiFi and air conditioning are a welcome relief in Bali! The beds and outdoor furniture are very comfortable. Being at the villa you would have no idea that it’s across from a large tourist grocery store. Super convenient and yet still very private and secluded feeling once you enter the gate. A few good restaurants within a block (the elephant and the Indian place next door were some of our favorites). Downtown Ubud is a quick taxi ride away. Highly recommend for a luxury get away!

Words cannot describe the beauty of this Indah Shamballah. The first thing that hits you is the completely unspoiled view over the lush green jungle valley, overlooking the sacred river. The whole place is designed around this incredible vista. I was honestly overwhelmed with the sense of peace and tranquillity. The huge open plan outdoor living room with massive comfortable sofas and cushions all face this view. Then there is the spectacular infinity pool. Its discretely hidden below the living area which once again gives onto the uninterrupted view of the valley below. The Bedrooms are so spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed is probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The bathroom, bedrooms and outdoor living room are intelligently designed to keep the focus on the spectacular view of the jungle outside. You have everything you need at your doorstep. There is a supermarket across the road behind the villa and the town centre is a short walk away. You can order food, massages, spa treatments to the villa, and the host is at hand to help you organise a driver or book any type of excursion available. The villa is equipped with everything you need. The delicious breakfast is prepared onsite and served whenever you want. It’s such a special calming and restful place you will never want to leave the villa itself. If you are looking for a piece of paradise in Ubud you need not look any further. The staff and Kadek are so attentive, welcoming and friendly its impossible to fault. After the first morning of our 4 day stay, we enquired to extend our stay, but unsurprisingly it was already booked for the next guests. If you find something wrong with this place, there is something wrong with you. People often say they will be back but never return. We will be back and probably stay as long as possible next time. Cannot recommend this place enough and in my opinion, there can’t possibly be anything in Ubud that comes close to this place if you are looking for peace, tranquillity and a sense of understated luxury. There aren’t enough stars to give in a review! Love it! Monty

In short, we definitely don't think the pictures on the listing do justice to the house - it is way more beautiful when you see it in person. From the instructions given to us before check-in, to the accommodating nature of Kadek, to waking up to perhaps one of the most lush green views you've ever experienced - our stay in Villa Indah Shambala was truly memorable. - The location of the house is quite convenient, and is a 7-10 minute walk to Central Ubud. There is a huge supermarket right opposite the house, and a coffee shop right outside your door that does some pretty good coffee. - Make sure you spend time by the pool! It's definitely one of the highlights, and the view from the pool is to die for. The view from the garden is no less, and you should definitely try and wake up to watch the sunrise if you have the chance. The hues are surreal. - If you're not used to insects and hens, you should try and get used to them before you arrive at this villa. There's an abundance of creepy-crawlies, and a group of hens next door that will greet you every morning, and casually walk into the garden from next door (if you're not used to insects, you should probably skip Bali entirely) - Kadek (the housekeeper) is great to deal with! We ran into bit of an issue on the day we were meant to check in, and waited to greet us at the Villa even though we reached at 8pm. She was available every morning to cook us breakfast (choose the Mee Goreng!), and provided us with a contact for a trustworthy driver that we hired on two days of our trip. - If air-conditioning is a non-negotiable for you, then you may run into a hurdle. The ACs aren't as strong as ones you would find at a hotel. The water pressure in the showers can also catch you slightly off-guard. The water pressure starts off alright, but gets much slower 5- 7 minutes into your shower.

Everything was wonderful for a luxe and relaxed getaway. We were so well looked after throughout. Firstly, the location is perfect. It’s in a good part of town away from the craziness but a quick cab ride or 20 minute walk. Great supermarket and coffee literally across the road. It’s private, quiet and the view over the valley is idyllic. The villa is not brand new but is well decorated and looked after and the spaces are huge and both bedrooms are master suites with full views. Netflix and Spotify etc... all integrated in the big TV. Kedak and Gede looked after us superbly and nothing was any trouble. They shopped for us, cooked superb, varied breakfasts daily and other meals upon request. Kedak is a great cook. Kedak also arranged an amazing local chef to come onsite and cook a full seafood feast. Well worth it as it was superb. The spectacular infinity pool perched on the edge of the lush Ubud jungle plays homage to the surrounding natural wildlife. From the exotic kingfishers by day and cute little tree frogs by night, enjoy a late night swim and be sure to catch the fire flies. Highly recommend.

Our stay at this delightful villa surpassed our expectations. It is beautiful, clean and has the most phenomenal view. Our family of 4 stayed for 1 week over the Christmas holiday. Nyoman and her fabulous team went above & beyond to make sure we were as comfortable and well-looked after as possible, including arranging a Christmas tree, special seafood feast & even a thoughtful Christmas gift for each of the children. We always felt the team were available, should we need help with anything, but were equally unobtrusive when preparing the delicious breakfasts & cleaning the pool & villa each morning. Nyoman, the driver, was also a superstar and a very reliable, safe driver. The location is excellent: close to lots of fantastic cafes & restaurants (villa recommendations are very reliable), and across the road from a large supermarket. I don’t hesitate in recommending this property 100%++ We hope we can return very soon!

We had an absolutely lovely stay in this incredible villa. The villa itself is stunning with the most spectacular views. The photos on Airbnb really don’t do it justice. We loved the infinity pool over looking the jungle. Having the supermarket, taxis & cafe across the road was incredibly convenient. The villa felt very secluded & yet it was an easy 20 min walk into town & all the action. The staff were very friendly & the breakfasts delicious. We would love to visit again & would be happy to recommend this gorgeous villa to anyone looking for a luxurious relaxing stay in Ubud.

We loved staying at this villa during our first visit to Ubud. Location is great, many restaurants nearby, cafe and supermarket are just crossing the street. Villa is located on a main road, but inside you hear no traffic noise. View of the jungle from the living room and pool area is outstanding and there is a lot of nature noise surrounding the villa. Its common to see some lizards and birds in the villa, but this makes you feel so much submerged in nature. Villa team is great, amazing breakfast, daily cleaning and good communication. We’ll definitely recommend staying at this villa.

This is a fantastic villa with an amazing staff that went above and beyond for us from beginning to end. They decorated the villa just for me and my fiancé in beautiful and romantic manor. Their decor and furniture were fantastic. The location was great, only a 25 minute walk to the Royal Palace and very close to many restaurants. I would highly suggest the Campuhan Ridge walk early in the morning, and walking to Sari Organik for a great lunch. The only downside to the villa was the early wake up call from the chickens next door, but that it all part of the authentic Indonesian experience! I would recommend to family and friends. We thought the price was reasonable, and there were only 2 of us staying there. Very reasonable if you have 4 or more guests!

We had an amazing experience. We’ve been to Bali many times and this villa has been one of the best. The staff are just gorgeous- friendly and helpful. Great villa for privacy and views and easy access to restaurants and transport or a stroll into Ubud. Thank you for an amazing trip. We will be back!

The best hospitality and kindness !

The villa has beautiful interior and the view is just breathtaking! The staff is very welcoming and gives you the privacy you need. The beds are so comfortable that we slept like babies here. Also the bathrooms are stunningly beautiful. As you live close to the jungle, there are many animals visiting and there is a chicken stable next door. We love animals and so it wasn‘t an issue for us. Make sure you can enjoy a couple of days at home here to just relax and enjoy the views to campuhan ridge walk and the jungle valley in front of the pool area. Breakfast was also perfect and enough to start your day right. Wifi could have been more reliable but was ok to work with on most days. Big Supermarket and lovely coffee places are just next door.

I would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Ubud. It is conveniently located. The staff did a great job and were very accommodating. The view was excellent and are located directly across from the supermarket and restaurants. The rooms provided privacy but were also able to open up to take in the real jungle experience.

This place was amazing. We loved everything about this Villa. Such beautiful touches to this place. At first we thought it would be located out of the way but it really wasn’t. There are so many great restaurants and cafes close by and the center of Ubud isn’t at all far to walk. The view at the villa was breathtaking. We loved just sitting by the pool and watching the view. Kadek and Gede were great and the breakfast they made everyday was always delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Villa Indah Shambala is geweldig! Super goede ligging, schoon, well designed, perfect personeel, super ontbijt, heerlijke bedden en een perfecte woonkamer en volledig ingerichte buitenkeuken waar alles perfect werkt. Uitzicht op de Campuhan Ridge, oerwoud en alle rust aan de ene kant en aan de voorkant het gemak van een grote supermarkt en vele koffiezaakjes en warungs. Wij hadden Nyoman gevraagd scooters te regelen en extra kinderhelmen, en alles stond klaar. Super! Nyoman en haar team zijn zeer goed bereikbaar per telefoon en whatsapp. Heel fijn allemaal. Wij genieten optimaal van dit verblijf.

Everything about our stay was amazing. From airport pickup, to a delicious breakfast every morning, to the view from the pool, to the decor, to the location, and other cheap tours by Nyoman (the driver). Kadek's nasi goreng is the best I've ever had and our boys had amazing pancakes, and we all enjoyed fresh, ripe fruit for and juice. I did not love the coffee, but after the first day I was more than happy to just cross the street to Dharma coffee for a long coffee or other beverage treats. You would be treating yourself greatly by staying here!

We loved our stay here. The location for us was perfect. Not in the super busy part of town but a little walk if you are up for it or the local taxi rank is just outside. Across the road from beautiful coffee and the supermarket was very helpful. Kadek and Gede was so lovely and helpful when we had a small issue with the aircon they had someone come and fix it straight away. The breakfast was really delicious and they were very friendly. Not to mention the view was amazing! We loved our stay in Ubud!!

위치와 뷰가 다 했습니다. 정글뷰 진짜 너무 좋았어요. 프라이빗 한 독채입니다. 일출 보려고 매일 6시에 일어났지만 안타깝게도 매번 구름이 껴있어서 보진 못 했습니다. 그래도 좋았어요. 밤에는 원숭이가 와서 한번씩 큰일 보고 가는거 같은데 (정확하진 않고 짐작만 했습니다)기분나쁘기보다는 묘한 경험이라고 생각했습니다. 픽업과 드롭은 드라이버와 미스커뮤니케이션도 있고 또 사전에 호스트와 얘기되었던 부분과 다르게 말씀도 하시고 그래서 이 부분은 사비로 이용 하는게 낫겠다 생각했습니다. 우붓 빙탕슈퍼마켓 바로 코앞이기에 그 근처에서 연락하여 마중나와 달라고 하면 될 듯 싶습니다. 드라이버 불러주시는 분이 고정되어 있는것 같은데 이분 운전이 험악한건 아닌데 초보 이신건지 원래 안전운전이 최우선이신건지 운전이 미숙해 보였습니다. 이 점만 빼면 그냥 정글뷰 하나만으로도 별 다섯개입니다. 방도 크고 깨끗한데 집 자체는 좀 오래되어 보이긴 합니다. 좋은 곳이었어요.

Excellent, Amazing, Wonderful facility. Referred by a friend of mine, i was initially half hearted but still booked this place. From the second after booking Nyoman , the great host, was in constant touch to keep me updated on the location, my expectations etc and so on. Gede the co-host received us in the villa on time. An excellent hospitality was waiting for us there. We felt really at home. The villa was surrounded by nature’s beauty all around. The rooms were big, beds were clean& neat and the bathrooms were so big and clean. The swimming pool was in the backdrop of a mountain valley which gave an amazing view and it was always chill. Breakfast was of excellent taste and healthy and best part is, you get at the time you want. Villa is very close to a super market @ coffee shop just across the road. Walkable distance to Indian restaurant and other cuisines. Overall our 5 days of stay was made excellent and memorable because of the villa and the hosts. Enjoyable thoroughly!!

We loved staying at Nyoman’s villa so much. It is really gorgeous! This villa has really spacious rooms/bathrooms and is beautifully designed and furnished. The view from the villa is priceless. You just can’t get enough of those amazing sunsets and sunrises! Large swimming pool is a great feature as well that we really enjoyed. Wild nature around the villa makes your experience very unique, peaceful and soothing. Most days you would not even want to leave this villa, because it is just that great and has everything for your perfect vacation and relaxation. We loved the staff as well, Ferly and Kadek were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. You can have many awesome services provided for your convenience at the villa, like really good yoga classes and massages. The location is really good as well, right across from a big supermarket and in close proximity to many good restaurants. The center of ubud is about 15 min walk. I would definitely recommend Nyoman’s villa and would be happy to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The views from the pool were amazing, Made and Kadek were lovely- they provided beautiful breakfasts each day, Made helped us to arrange several day trips and gave us great suggestions for the local area. There were a lot of steps on the property, particularly to the pool, but the view from the pool was worth it! Very convenient to the supermarket, and lots of great restaurants and day spas within walking distance. Bit of a walk into the centre of town, but there are plenty of taxis available. Comfortable beds and aircon in the bedrooms, open lounge with a daybed and spectacular views!

This villa is out of a design magazine!! Beds were high quality and extremely comfortable. The property is magical and sunrises beautiful. While you are in your own beautiful and peaceful space - right outside the entrance is a grocery store & fantastic coffee shop that has fresh pressed juices, fresh kombucha and pastries every day. You can walk everywhere and find plenty of fantastic restaurants within a 10 minute walk. We walked to Ubud city center which is approx. 30 minutes or a taxi will cost you approx. 3.50 usd. Mada who takes care of the villa is so kind. She will help you plan anything, tours, drivers, massages at the villa, yogi to the villa for private class, any recommendations you might request, she can help you. The breakfasts they prepare each morning are the BEST! I'm now quite familiar with Ubud and I will tell you that this Villa is in the perfect location.

This villa is ‘A MUST’ stay in your check list. No hesitation if you are looking for - convenience location (big supermarket BINTANG and a nice coffee shop just right opposite your house) - they have Made and Kadek to help you with the house cleaning, cooking breakfast and if you need more —> they can also get some local service for you with extra charge such as private massage at the villa, private yoga at the villa and we did ask them to cook dinner for us as well. It was great with everything. - cleanliness is perfect - space is great for 4-6 persons and maybe upto 8 if you can sleep in the living room with no AC (but it is airy enough and view is great) - swimming pool with best view you can ever ask for - soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided with great smell. - room also great smell as they put the aromatherapy on for you. - big kitchen and fridge ( this is ok standard, not a stylish kitchen and a sparkling new, you have made and kadek helping you with food so no need to be in the kitchen that much. If you plan to cook, I suggest you check with Nyoman what she has available for you) The only thing you should concern is that the nature is real, beautiful. If you are afraid of gecko or insects- you have to prepare. There is not a lot of it but there is some for you to see and hear. I will definitely come back to this villa sane as all my friends in this trip. We love Nyoman villa so bad I want to stay longer. I’ve been in at least 10 houses from airbnb, this villa is by far # 1. Thank you again for the great hospitality.

This is a lovely country villa with an amazing view. The furnishings are stylish and comfortable. The location is terrific -- in a part of Ubud that we particularly like, with the convenience of a coffee shop and supermarket right across the road. But when you are in the villa you feel like you are in the middle of the country. Made was a huge help. She assisted in arranging tours and rides for us as well as giving us great local advice. She was very sweet with our sick son. Breakfast each morning was a treat! Communication was excellent. This is a nice place to stay.

We had a great visit. The villa was within walking distance of downtown, but far enough away to allow us to be surrounded by jungle when looking out the back of the villa. Nyoman, Made, and Kadek went out of their way to make our Christmas special. After I mentioned that my wife was a bit disappointed not to be around Christmas decorations, they surprised us with a large, decorated Christmas tree in our living room. In addition to the wonderful breakfasts, Made and Kedek also prepared two Balinese dinners at our request. While there are a lot of restaurants near the villa, I would suggest that you try some of their cooking too. Nyoman, the driver picked us up at the airport, and took us on a day sightseeing trip. He not only took us to the places that I wanted to see, but suggested some additional places that I hadn't considered. He also accompanied us to all the places that we visited, giving us information on what we were seeing, and sharing his own experiences with growing up and living in Bali. I would highly recommend the villa if you are visiting Ubud.

The house is amazing very good located comfortable and Nyoman and Maddy are absolutely great they helped with all our needs and more we had a great stay!!

Indah Shambala is a beautiful villa with an amazing view into the valley across to Campuhan Ridge. The villa is bright and airy with lovely decor, and the pool and day beds are great. Both bedrooms are large with bathrooms that are relatively open/outdoors. There is some traffic noise and there are roosters but this just adds to the charm of the place, it didn’t bother us at all. The villa is across the road from a cafe and a large Bintang Supermarket where you can get everything you need plus ATMs and taxi’s (which cost about 50-60K into town, about $5 AUD and takes around 3-5 mins depending on where you’re going). You can walk but it’d take about 20-30min. We organised scooters through Made which cost 75K/day, although the traffic around Ubud (plus parking) is tricky so it ended up being easier and cheaper to get taxis with 4 people. Made and Kadek were amazing, we had lovely cooked breakfasts every morning. Made was super helpful with suggestions on cafes/restaurants, things to do and see in the Ubud area, organised white water rafting, as well as helping to organise a private yoga class at the villa as well as massages (which were incredible!). It was also my mother in law’s birthday whilst we were there, and even though they only found out the morning of they quickly went out and came back with flowers, cake and sung her happy birthday which she loved and was so thoughtful of them! Nyoman, the driver associated with the villa, was so great too! Really kind, knowledgeable, great English and a good driver. We would definitely stay again!

Our stay was wonderful. The villa was so beautiful and the hospitality was perfect. The staff went out of their way to accommodate every need we had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in UBUD. The morning sunrise and views were amazing!

Very well located in one of the best place of Ubud. A fantastic view on the valley. And a vey well furnished villa, and very smart decoration. And a nice staff who takes care of us. Very recommended location when you are in Ubud.

Das Haus liegt am Hang mit einem spektakulärem Ausblick, ist sehr geschmackvoll und komfortabel eingerichtet. Man hat einen sehr schönen terassenartigen Garten mit Pool. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der hervorragende Service und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft des Teams vom Fahrer bis zur Köchin, die das Frühstück zubereitet. Wir als Familie haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft vorbehaltlos empfehlen. Der einzige Nachteil ist die Nähe zur verkehrsreichen Straße vor dem Haus, allerdings ist man dadurch schnell in vielen Restaurants in der Nähe .

You will not be disappointed if you stay here. The villa is spectacular and the views will blow you away. The staff are always on hand to help you, make you a delicious breakfast or book you an activity during your stay. I would stay here again and again and again. Five stars.

Nyoman and the guest team were awsome! Very helpful and responsive - thank you for all you did for us. The view from the reception area was amazing and it was a delight to sit and take in so much green. The villa is set below the (busy) main road. Being near Bintang supermarket is very useful and you can usually get taxis there. The downside is that there is road noise in the bathrooms (that are partly open ) and also the walk down to town is along this road that is always busy and has traffic fumes so its not a nice walk to do.

My family of four enjoyed a week in this gorgeous home. The views are amazing, the decor is stylish, the beds are SUPER comfy, and the service is so warm and personable. Everything was just easy and so pleasant to enjoy the nature of Ubud. The location is great — there is a wonderful coffee place directly across the street where I would retreat mid-afternoon for the best latte I’ve encountered in the area. And having Bintang Supermarket was a definite plus. If you walk to the left of the coffee place and up the steps, you will find rice fields and a path that will take you to another pleasant coffee place — The Yellow Flower Cafe. We were surprised that despite the villa being on a busy road, we could not hear road noise... only the sounds of birds, frogs and occasional rooster from the jungle in front of us. We twice walked up the Campuhan Ridge for some exercise — we’ve done this many times in the past and could not believe how popular it has gotten now... you can see the ridge from the house, and there are hikers from dawn to past sunset now. We thought we would enjoy the pool but encountered some surprising chillier weather than expected and the pool is not heated so was a bit too chilly for our taste. All in all, I highly recommend this place and we hope to stay there again sometime.

Beautiful villa and view. We loved the open air living room with giant sofas. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great while we were there so didn’t use the pool but we still loved walking around the local area and trying the restaurants. Recommend the elephant restaurant 5 mins walk away - great for kids. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful villa with an amazing view! The staff were great and very helpful. There is a bit of traffic noise during the day and a noisy rooster in the mornings, so if you want to sleep in earplugs are recommended. The the view at sunrise is well worth the effort of waking up early.

4 of us stayed in this beautiful villa very comfortably. It was our first visit to Ubud and it was just wonderful thanks to Nyoman team and the accommodation. The accommodation was set in the middle of the nature but still relatively close to the Ubud center. It was only 15 minutes walk. The view from the livingroom was amazing and the infinity pool was heavenly. It is actually a lot larger than it looks on the photo. I truly think the photos of this villa need to be airbrushed just to be more realistic. The sizes of the bedrooms wee large and the bathrooms were huge and very exotic. When we sat in the livingroom at night, we heard nothing but the sound of nature. The service was also excellent. Housekeepers came in everyday and cleaned the entire house including the swimming pool. The breakfast served was also great and all of us enjoyed it so much. Nyoman was very easy to communicate and quick to answer to our requests. There was also a big supermarket right apposite the villa that was open till 10pm so we could get stuff very conveniently. On the last day we had a tour of Ubud with Nyoman Seriawan who picked us up at the airport when we arrived. I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of having a day tour. He is highly professional and super kind. He knows the area really well and took us to nicest places. He also drive very safely and comfortably. I have nothing but good memories of this villa and will go back again. Thanks team Nyoman for everything.

Great decoratio n, friendly service, nice view and close to best restaurants. Even there is a supermarket just crosse the street.

We stayed for 3 weeks in this amazing villa. Everything was more that perfect. The staff was really, nice they came in every day for making breakfast and clean the villa, garden and pool. If there was anything we would like to be arranged they did. The breakfast was also very nice with lots of fresh fruit, pancakes, bread or rice, lovely! The design of the interior is really nice, all the details are great! And then the view and location of the villa... Wow, just wow! No words to describe this amazing location. Just our of the centre of Ubud, we had a scooter and within 5 minutes you are in the center where everything happens. I think this place has on of the best view in Ubud, the view on the campuhan ridge is incredible. Every morning we set our clock to see the sunrise above the Agung, it's magical. The huge Bintang supermarket just infront of the door is perfect for everything you need. Also very nice is the new coffee bar, great coffee! So... If you are looking for an unique place in Ubud, don't look any further, THIS IS THE BEST PLACE. Thank you Nyoman and staff for everything. Thanks!

Fantastic location and what a view! Villa is located right opposite a supermarket. 15 minutes walk to Ubud center and 5 minute walk to Neka. Great interior design and fantastic view of the Campuhan Ridge and even Mt Agung. Breakfast with a view is really something special (and yummy). They took such good care of us. And she went out of her way to arrange us transportation and everything. We had such a wonderful time, thank you all.

Perfect location - secluded & open valley view, with a convenient location to Ubud Centre/shopping. Very tastefully done up interiors and all the amenities needed for our stay.

This is the second time I have stayed in the Villa. It's in a fantastic location (Bintang accross the street, and a few hundred meters from Mozaic, Bridges Indus, Nuri's etc) plus a fabulous view of the Campuhan Ridge. It's got a nice layout and a small garden with an infinity type pool, from which there is a nice view of Mt Agung when it's not shrouded in cloud. It's quite fun chiiling in the pool while watching people sweating their way along the Campuhan Ridge Walk across the valley in the midday sun. The staff are lovely and friendly and new black and white themed decor is very nice too. We had a few visits from the neighbour's chickens and a quite a few tree frogs found there way into the house during our stay, all of which we found charming and amusing,

Nyoman's place was amazing. Beautiful setting on the top of the valley. The house was gorgeous and Nyoman and her staff were incredible my helpful throughout our stay. Would come back anytime!

Just a few days after I booked this villa news of Mt Agung started. I joined a few Bali, Ubud groups on FB and I checked them every day first thing in the morning. I also gathered a lot of info about activities in Ubud and Bali. I was so uncertain whether we should go or find another spot for our holiday. I shared my thoughts with Nyoman and she was fantastic about it. Offered to go later and not lose money. She was answering all my questions instantly. We decided to just go (I was set on visiting Bali) and it was the best to do! As soon as we arrived the vulcano was forgotten. We arrived early but they did everything to welcome us as soon as possibel. When we arrived we were amazed how beautiful everything was. Entering the beautiful gate it's like another world! Amazing garden, view to Campuhan Ridge, lush jungle, butterflies, birds, beautiful flowers. The villa is a work of art! The design makes me redecorate my own home :) every detail is gorgeous! The staff is very kind and helpful! Breakfast is delicious! We didn't even eat until dinner it was so much and so good. There are a million places to eat within a few minutes walk. But even the most beautiful restaurant had the same view we had from our villa ;) We didn't even use taxis to go to the center of Ubud, it's a nice walk, and there are so many things to see on the way, it doesn't feel 30 minutes. Although there are a taxi base just across from the villa. The drivers are super sweet and we learned a lot about their life, culture while going on day trips which they organised based on the list of places we wanted to go. You are perfectly fine just staying and resting in the villa, but there are so many things to see and do :) Karsa Spa is amazing and the cafe is super too! We had the most amazing getaway with my husband and we can't wait to take the kids as well!

Vue superbe, décoration soignée, élégante et "cozy", emplacement légèrement excentré du centre d'Ubud, mais accessible en 2 minutes en taxi. Excellents restaurants autour : nous avons profité du "Take away" du restaurant vegan Elephant, afin de profiter d'un dîner sur la terrasse, avec sa vue superbe sur la jungle et les rizières en arrière plan. Piscine très agréable avec toujours cette vue superbe. Diner au restaurant Bridge à 4 minutes à pied, cocktails et repas remarquables; bref, un séjour de rêve, avec la présence discrète mais efficace du staff de Jainie. Merci à tous.

Hands down the best Airbnb experience we had, obsoletely enjoyed every moment of our stay. The place is at the perfect location, close by many good restaurants, spas, attractions, super markets. The villa itself is amazing, open living room and pool facing the lushes green hills. You can see the sun rise from both bedroom. The photos on Airbnb really can't show all the stylist Balinese designs and beautiful details Jeannie put into this place. Every pillow, every door, every furniture, even dishes are picked carefully to compliment each other. But the most important thing that won our hearts are the wonderful staffs. They truly went above and beyond to take best care of us. Kadek answers all our questions and request on Airbnb chat even before we arrive. Arranged pick up and drop off for us. Komang and Dekta took great care of our daily needs, from cooking breakfast, prepare fresh exotic fruits, tea and snacks, laundry, translate for us etc. Because it happened to be my son's birthday, they came in super early to decorate the place with blooms and ribbons, brought birthday cake with fresh flowers, even gifts to make it a memorable day for our son. We really appreciate Indah Shambala host us this lovely stay, we highly recommend it and wish to come back soon!

We highly recommend staying at this Villa whenever coming to Ubud! She is an awesome host, being very easy to reach and very nice and helpful as well. She helped us organise our tours in Ubud, which were great in value and also went by without any issues! The Villa is beautiful, and the location is also beautiful and peaceful. Finally, their services are great - breakfast was delicious, in house massage was amazing and everything else as well. Perfect pick for a vacation!
