Exploring Best Ubud rooms in rice fields, newly built!-King! left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Best Ubud rooms in rice fields, newly built!-King! was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Best Ubud rooms in rice fields, newly built!-King! painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
Die Unterkunft von Kadek lag sehr ruhig inmitten von Reisfeldern. Ubud war super mit dem Roller zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sehr sauber und die Zimmer gut eingerichtet, auch der Pool war super. Leider hat diese Sauberkeit ihren Preis. Aufgeräumt wurde ab morgens sechs Uhr. Da die Unterkunft sehr kompakt war, haben wir alles gehört. Auch der Hund hat nachts gebellt und war morgens sehr früh wach. Die erhoffte Ruhe, haben wir dort nicht gefunden. An einem Tag, waren den ganzen Tag Handwerker da, davon wussten wir nichts. Es ist also recht laut und auch von anderen Gästen bekommt man leider alles mit. Aufgrund der Lautstärke, sind wir einen Tag früher abgereist.
Paikka oli tosi kiva, ystävällinen henkilökunta ja sopi hyvin muutamaksi päiväksi Ubudin kiertelyyn. Majapaikan sijainti oli kuitenkin aika kaukana kaikesta ja kävelyetäisyydellä oli vain pari ravintolaa.
Es ist eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit kleinen Macken (kalte Dusche, Ameisen in der Küche) über die man hinweg schauen kann.
2주동안 잘 쉬다 갑니다! 숙소와 수영장 너무 좋았어요. 특히 kedek과 직원 komang 모두 친절해요. 위치는 시내와 좀 멀지만 오토바이나 차로 픽업 서비스를 이용하시면 됩니다 :) 감사합니다!
We had a great stay at Kadek and Ani! It was really feeling like home. They were really interested and they give good recommendations. The house is out of the centre but with motorcycle the centre is really close. It's easy to ride and good to see the area. Also the trips with Kadek are really good. Breakfast was great and everyday they surprised us again! We will recommend them to family and friends!
Quiet and new guesthouse. The house is new and clean. breakfast is nice and diversified. owners are really friendly and helpfull! always concerned abot their guests. garden is a little bit small. not enough space for more than 2 people enjoying the pool area. All in all: recomendable

Kadek’s place felt like home away from home in the US. I felt so welcomed. The room was clean and spacious. It was definitely a safe space and I had no worries during my stay. I appreciated the hot water in the shower, which lasted for a long time, unlike many other places that I’ve stayed in Bali. Kadek was always responsive, and he made sure that he answered all of my questions. He not only answered questions about my particular room, but him and his wife also provided information about activities that I could get into during my visit in Bali. I loved it here and I will be back during my next visit to Bali. I would recommend anyone, especially if they’re visiting from out the country to stay here.
Owner and stuff here are super nice. Living here you can feel like you are one of the local family. Tasty Breakfast, nice pool and shower, amazing views!适合一家老小居住，很安静，在乌布附近包车游玩非常方便，如果自己能开摩托车，租车也不错。
Echt een aanrader! Alles heel netjes en de eigenaar is super gastvrij. Hij heeft ons meegenomen om de hele omgeving te zien en verder ook alles voor ons geregeld qua triptjes en ook de boot naar Nusa waar we erna heen gingen. Een woord: super!
Kadek's place is so beautiful! It was more than we expected. We had a very comfortable stay. The bed was huge. The room is sparkling clean. Showers were warm. Kadek gave us tips on where to eat, and where to buy our supplies. His place is within the heart of Ubud, and it is accessible to all the tourist destinations and temples. We were able to cook our own food as well as he have a kitchen. The pool is very relaxing as well! His villa is truly a 5-star. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful place. Terima Kasih! We will surely stay here again when we go back to Bali.
We had such a very good time staying at Kadek place. The location is close to Ubud center (10 minutes), very calm and quiet and perfectly clean. Kadek and his family were very welcoming and helped us whenever we needed. We recommend!
My fiancé and I had the best time staying here!! The pool and room are fantastic and super clean. We were able to totally relax and enjoy Ubud :) we rented a scooter for a good price from Kadek and were able to drive comfortably to anywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast was unique and delicious each day, and Kadek and his wife also own a warung (restaurant) with incredible Indonesian food in the center of town which we went to more than once!! Great food and great prices. Staying here made us love Ubud so much!
Kadek was a great host. He was always accessible and is very friendly. The place is a decent distance from the main area of Ubud but I like to walk and it’s not much in a taxi or on a scooter and is only a 5 minutes. Kadek dropped me off several times during my stay and provided transport for a tour to the hidden canyon and waterfall all for a fair price. He also organised my transfer and ferry across to Gili for my next destination for half the price I had been quoted by a local taxi driver!
For my first Bali experience, this location was 10/10! Just 10 minutes away from DT Ubud, you get the peace of the rice land but hop on Kadek’s Scooters and you’re off to the city! This Airbnb made me feel at home away from home. The room was spacious and lovely, and the view across the rice fields are amazing. You’ll hear roosters all over Bali so be ready for that! 10/10 would recommend. If you need to find the location, you can use Pondok Uma Ubud for easier tracking. Pin your location because the area is somewhat hidden.
We have stayed many times with Kadek and Ani and they are great hosts and always make us feel welcome. The rooms are great and I recommend it to anyone. Thank you!
Alles war schön. Die Zimmer sind neu und modern eingerichtet. Die Klimaanlage ist nicht direkt über dem Bett, sehr gut! Die Tipps vom Gastgeber waren super! Einen Roller konnte man vor Ort auch ausleihen. Es ist ruhig. Besser als in der Stadt zu wohnen. Wir würden wiederkommen! Danke!
Kadek was very good host. All the time he was helpfull us and nice. He recommended us some wonderful places. The traditonal breakfast were fantastic. If i will sometimes visit Ubud, i would like to choose this accomodation.
My wife and I arrived at this Airbnb on April 14th, we stayed there until April 22nd. I should've written my review right away but our busy life got caught up once we got back to Canada. This was our first time travelling to South Eastern part of Asia as a couple. We could have had our honeymoon stay at a lavish hotel with room service and a beautiful view of the ocean but staying here was much better than that. The room was airy and comfortable with a King size bed, we were on the main floor so as we opened the sliding door, we had access to the pool right away (which was amazing on hot and humid days in Ubud). There was a common kitchen near the pool if you need to make any food for lunch or dinner. They served breakfast everyday (as per your request because that is exclusive of your room rate charge even though they classified this place as a bed & breakfast). We got breakfast everyday during our stay, it was always delicious. They serve Balinese coffee, fresh cut fruits w/ eggs (usually). We rented a scooter from the Airbnb owner (Kadek) to travel around the city or to other parts of Bali. Kadek is a wonderful person, very helpful and kind. He lives on the residence with his wife and 2 kids. They were all very friendly and we got along very well. His wife owns 3 point massage centre in Ubud, they also have a in-house massage room. Massage request are by appointment and the menu pamphlet is in your room. Kadek also provides tours to places of your choice. Unfortunately, I had been in a minor scooter incident one day, so we requested for his kind assistance since I needed to go to the traveller's clinic and then get back home (to our astonishment, he charged us for having to ask him to come pick us up, go to the clinic and drive us back home. Things like that need to be openly disclosed because not everything in life should be a business transaction). Their home is located on an unpaved pathway which was inconvenient for Bluebird taxi services (equivalent to Uber) to come get us, also they were getting lost because this place was not listed on Google maps until recently (which I helped out Kadek with that problem as well). I highly recommend this place for your stay as it is comfortable and quiet. Conveniently located 10mins from Ubud centre. We learned the hard way that nothing is free with Kadek, so disclose the cost of anything even if he offers to do anything for you. Other than that, my wife and I had the most unforgettable time at Pondak Uma Ubud! We will miss Kadek, Ani, Putu and Nona! Thank you for the great memories and the pleasant stay! Also, I should also mention, our time there was made great also because of comin (male worker), he was always there if you needed anything. The most helpful person I've ever met. Thank you Comin!

100% recommend. Kadek's home is absolutely gorgeous. It feels like a luxury resort, but with all the hospitality of a lovely family. The room is more than comfortable, sparkling clean, there's a nice kitchen we used to cook dinners, yummy breakfast was included (and they accommodated our vegan diet!), motorbike rental available, beautiful rice paddy views, even a spa room where we could get a massage right on site. Couldn't ask for more!
The place is beautiful, all new, clean and fresh. The environment is amazing, with a beautiful Ricefield view and local streets around. We were very happy to stay here for Christmas and cook ourselves a Christmas dinner in the kitchen :)
Der Aufenthalt bei euch war sehr sehr schön. Kadek und seine Familie waren sehr hilfsbereit und das Zimmer und die Anlage sind sehr idyllisch und super erholsam. Einfach nur wow.

We booked 2 nights at Kadek’s place and then extended it to 4 after having such a good experience the first 2 nights. The location is slightly south of Ubud, but Kadek has multiple scooters to rent at his property and is also available to drive you to town if need be. The 5 rooms are situated in a way that provides everyone staying there ample amount of privacy. The rooms themselves are bright and modern with a touch of Balinese culture. They are very clean and have both a safe and lockable cabinet. There is also a fair amount of wardrobe/closet space for those sharing a room. The bed is big and comfortable. The shower is large and the toilet has a bidet. Towels are also included with the room. The shared kitchen is conveniently located in the middle of the property and is cleaned daily. The upstairs lounge/common space is very comfortable and provides a spectacular view of the sunset. The pool is relatively small but set in a beautiful garden area. The pool deck is shaded most of the day and a great place to cool down during the afternoon. Wifi speed and coverage was fantastic. Breakfast was good and different everyday. Overall, we had a fantastic stay with Kadek and his young family. They did everything they could to make us feel at home and they did a great job doing it. I just wish their brand new puppy, Kopi, was a little bit older and a little less shy because we could have been great friends.

Kadek and his family are the perfect hosts. After our arrival he and his wife took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. They were always ready to help with organizing a scooter or a driver and any information we needed for planning our days. The place is absolutely lovely: Comfortable bed, more than enough storage space, lovely seating area with a nice view or close to the pool. Everything is beautiful and spotless. We hope we will come back some time in the future!
Literally the best place I stayed in during my trip in Bali! Mr Kadek and his family are the nicest people, friendly and open for helping their guests, be it with a simple ironing or with a last minute (literally) trip to the airport! Their place is very upkept and modern, everything new and stylish. The house is next to a beautiful green rice field that is a pleasure to watch and relax by in the morning! Mr Kadek also has on site scooters, raging from small to big stylish green Yamaha scooter at more than fair price per day. The breakfast was served with local speciality and fruits! The location is easy to reach, only 5 minutes drive from the main hustle and bustle of Ubud, which I found great because it makes it a quiet, relaxing stay! Will definitely recommend and hope to come back soon! Thank you Mr Kadek and your family for the hospitality!
We had an amazing time at Kadeks place. Him and his family were really nice and very welcoming! They let us check in a bit earlier which was very convenient for us and took great care of us. The breakfast was really good and the room really clean and nice. When I arrived I was feeling sick and Kadeks wife gave me something to put on my stomach to help which was very nice and she really took great care of me and asked how I felt. Kadek organized a scooter for us so we could get around and they also offer massages which was amazing. On the day we left Kadek drove us to our next destination. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to discover Ubud and the area but wants to stay somewhere calm and private!
Best homestay on bali. typical balinese hospitality. from here you can explore Bali with the motorbike by yourself, all great places nearby. in the evening you have a great view on the sunset over the rice fields. when we come back to Bali, we will stay here again.

Kadek and his family are the perfect hosts! This homestay is very new and clean and Kadek is always available to give tips on what to do in and around Ubud. It’s a ~5-10min drive by scooter to Ubud center and the homestay is perfectly located to explore Ubud‘s surroundings. I can definitely recommend this place especially if you prefer not to stay in Ubud‘s busy center.
War der perfekte Ort für unseren ersten Aufenthalt in Bali! Super moderne und stilvolle Unterkunft. Sauber und alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Pool und die Küche waren ein großes Plus. Kadek und seine Familie waren sehr hilfsbereit und hatten immer guter Tips auf Lager. Zusätzlich hat er uns öfters in die Stadt oder auf Ausflüge zu fairen Preisen gefahren. Ebenfalls positiv würden wir die gute Kommunikation bewerten. Klare Weiterempfehlung!! :)
Staying with Kadek and Ani made our Ubud experience just that much better. Their house is beautiful and peaceful. We stayed for three weeks but wish we could have stayed longer. Anytime I am back in Ubud, I will stay here again. Their house is just a short motorbike ride away from the center of Ubud, plus you can rent a motorbike from them for a very reasonable price. They also offer the best spa services ever! If you are looking for a place to stay in Ubud (short term or longer term), I cannot recommend Kadek and Ani's place enough. You won't regret it!!
Pondok Oma Ubud is the loveliest oasis of tranquility in the Ubud area. We simply loved being able to be minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the hectic tourism of Ubud, yet staying at Kadek's home offered an opportunity of true respite for the weary soul. Set along a quiet rice paddy, you feel safe, at peace, and relaxed. Kadek and his wife Ani, along with their adorable, and extremely well behaved two children, Nona and Girel, were a joy to be around every day. They always give you whatever private space you desire, but if you are the type that wants to chat and meet new people, they are always up for hanging out. Kadek and Ani also do a tremendous job of offering advice and suggestions for anything you want to do while spending time in Bali. Kadek also offers, as an additional service, to be your personal driver and tour guide, literally anywhere on the island of Bali. This can come quite in handy. Also, they have scooters you can rent on a daily basis, and it's an amazing and efficient way to get around Ubud. The rooms are more spacious than we would have thought; the linens were fresh and clean and changed once a week. The pool is always a nice treat to come home to, after a long, hot day of being a tourist. And Ani's Balinese breakfast hits the spot, every single morning! It only takes about 3-5 minutes by scooter to be in the Ubud city limits, so the location, for its peaceful location outside of the city, could not be more convenient. Do not pass up the opportunity to stay with this lovely family!
Kadek, his family, and house were beyond our expectations. We booked, on a whim, to stay for a month, and that wasn't even enough. We ended up staying 1.5 months and are so happy we did. Kadek, a former tour guide, knew everywhere to go, places to eat, and, just as importantly, what to avoid. He maximized our time in Ubud / Bali, and we're so thankful we got to know him and his family. I could go on and on about how great the breakfasts were, how sweet his kids are, and what a nice, relaxing place Pondok Uma Ubud is, but just know you won't choose wrong by staying here. Just make sure you're able to stay longer than expected...you will!
Kadek and Ani run a wonderful guest house. The building is brand new and nicely designed, but most importantly, Ani and Kadek are very hard-working and thoughtful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they took special care of us after I hurt my foot and couldn't get around easily. When they noticed that my daughter wasn't a fan of the spicy rice, our second breakfast was a banana pancake, made just for her. They have two lovely children who potter around making guests laugh. The location is really perfect: totally quiet with rice fields on either side, but it only takes 5 minutes to get into the centre of Ubud. I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone.
Kadek’s place is a brand new accomodation, but contrary to a lot of over newly build places, this one looks finished. Every thing is there, everything works (warm showers too!) and it looks just great. The bed is fantastic, and Kadek actually lives in the property aswell with his wife and kids. This makes you feel very welcome, they’re very friendly and social people if you want to have a chat or a drink, and they’ll make you feel really at home while having all the privacy you want in a nice private room with airco and all the things you might need. Wonderful place to stay, 5 minutes by scooter from the center of Ubud. So very quiet, yet still rather close to the action. Highly recommended!
