Exploring Brand New 5 BR villa Berawa Canggu left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Brand New 5 BR villa Berawa Canggu was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kecamatan Kuta Utara plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Brand New 5 BR villa Berawa Canggu painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

The villa was a lot larger and spacious in person. Contacting Julien was easy and replied promptly when needed. Although the place itself was beautiful the finer details and touches let it down. 2 rooms had a shared bathroom which wasn’t listed. It made it uncomfortable for 4 people to share. We were late for our check-in when we communicated to our best with the traffic delays however the staff made us feel guilty that they had to stay back. The staff would also stay even though they were done ‘cleaning’. We were being cautious of our belongings so when we asked if they were leaving as we were, they said they had to stay there. When communicating this they pushed us away by replying to lock the doors, despite having the master keys. ‘Cleaning’ was more like tidying. Stained sheets, towels, dirty mirrors. We understand english isn’t their first language but their h&s could be greatly improved. We still enjoyed our stay but definitely left hoping to have had a better experience.

this air bnb felt very homey. it was beautiful and exactly like the pictures. nita was amazing, and very helpful. however, some of the spaces did feel a little dusty at times and the bed sheet in one of the rooms had some stains. and the pool was unusable because it was quite dirty due to the motor being broken.

Villa Hestia is a beautifull villa in a great location. It is spacious and well equipped for a comfortable stay. Overall, our stay was good but there were a few things that kept it from being great like, villa staff professionalism, responsiveness/communication, water flooding through the balconies of the two upstairs bedrooms during storms, quality of bedding and towels, lack of toilet paper in shared bathroom (really all bathrooms), constantly taking off the AC even when we are in the villa, etc.

Julien was a great host. He was always responsive and super helpful when organising extra elements for the kids like high chairs, or organising local chefs to come and cook. The villa was beautiful and spacious - perfect for a big family. It was clean when we arrived and the villa staff did a basic clean on a daily basis and were always friendly and helpful. We had some troubles with the fan working outside, or taps falling off in the shower, but the villa management were attentive and quick to fix any issues that were raised. There was unfortunately very loud construction next door during our stay but of course that's no one's fault and seems to be a common situation in Bali most of the time. Canggu is a great area and the villa was slightly tucked away from the main streets so felt more peaceful (despite the construction). The villa is close to lots of great spas and shops and restaurants. Highly recommend the villa for a family stay!

Two words: pretty good. The villa itself is lovely, it’s spacious, it’s in a really good area that overlooks rice fields. It’s super private, and peaceful in-spite of the construction going on nearby. Which is most of Bali in 2024 to be fair. Our group enjoyed the villa and particularly the pool which was amazing for the adults and small humans. Where the villa fell short was a few areas, small things like not having extractor fans in the bathrooms, no toilet roll holders, no towel in the downstairs toilet to dry hands etc, things that take something from being good to great. It lacked the little luxuries like providing a conditioner to go with the shampoo. The big things where the villa fell short was comfortable beds, these are only comfortable if you like a hard bed, Julien was quick to highlight that these are the same as a 5 star resort but also only offered a topper when pushed, and just for one room. The main thing we disliked as a group were how intrusive the staff were.

The place was really great but there's some construction nearby and due to heavy rain, the only road to the place is muddy and dirty. Our car couldn't get in to drop us in front of door so we had to carry the luggage and walk to the villa via the muddy road ourselves. But other than that, the place is huge and look like the picture. The pool is not that big but still great. Love the living room area.

We absolutely loved our stay. The pictures do not do this place justice. We were only a grab ride away from everything but in a perfect quiet area easy to find! The view from the top rooms were so beautiful! No traffic noise! The beds and pillows were comfy and rooms All spacious! So much seating around for parents/teens/kids to have their own areas. We will def book this villa again and stay longer! Extra mention to the staff who were around all Day but never in our way. Julien was very responsive through the whole Booking process as well! An amazing stay!! The accommodation itself was stunningly beautiful, super clean and huge! We were traveling as a group of friends and this was perfect! Nita our house manager was amazing, I honestly couldn’t speak more highly of her, she was so helpful and kind and went above and beyond for us. The other staff were also super lovely and made our stay so relaxing and memorable. This Airbnb is set in such a quiet laneway but was still close to everything. Highly recommend the thaiphoon restaurant located just at the end of the alleyway. Also the jewellery making class across the street was great, and for the days you just want to chill out the villa was perfect…didn’t want to leave!

Amazing place - the living area is HUGE and generous bedroom sizes with comfortable beds. Good air conditioning throughout. It's in a great area with so many restaurants and things to do with kids. The house was great with kids and family. Staff were super attentive and helpful. Can't fault the place at all.

The villa was beautiful and as described, it was perfect for our family holiday. The staff were very accomodating and helpful. It is in a great location, is private and quiet while still being central. Would highly recommend!

The place is beautiful and spacious, perfect for our large group with young children. Really loved the natural light of the space. Nita and Julien were responsive and helpful with the arrangements needed for extra beds for the kids and flexible check-in and check-out. Worth noting that two bedrooms share one toilet (jack & Jill style), though the description seems to imply 5 ensuite rooms each with its own toilets. Otherwise, lovely stay and would recommend staying here for activities in Canggu and Seminyak.

Highly recommend this villa! Nita and the two other staff were very friendly, super responsive and helpful with anything we needed or requested. They really went above and beyond and made our stay so comfortable and convenient! The villa was clean and comfortable, had everything already from beach towels (replenished daily) and cleaning every day. There were 9 of us and we enjoyed our stay so much, would definitely recommend for a big group!

We stayed here for two nights with a group of 12 and absolutely loved this villa. It’s spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. A special thanks to Kakak, who made our stay even better. She arrived early every morning, kept everything perfectly clean, and was always so warm and friendly. Her dedication and hard work truly impressed us. We all had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Bali!

We celebrated my birthday at this villa and had an amazing time. The interior is beautiful and stylish, and the pool is absolutely fantastic. Everything felt comfortable and well thought out. We shared many great moments here and would happily come back again.

This is the most amazing Villa we have ever stayed in and I have been to Bali 12 times. It was bigger and more beautiful than the photos!! It’s in a great location, only 3 to 4 minutes bike from the main shops, but quiet with a beautiful view of the rice fields. The team was super helpful and friendly and always responded with any questions very quickly. When we come to Canggu again we will 100% stay here. LOVED IT ❤️❤️

We had a wonderful stay here — it was a perfect place to spend a few days with friends or family. The kitchen is huge and spacious, exactly as shown in the photos, and the entire home matches the listing perfectly. The bed was very comfortable, and we really appreciated all the attention to detail throughout the space. There is truly hot water, and you can even fill up the bathtub and relax, which was such a nice bonus. The area is very quiet with no construction around, and the location is great: close to cafes and restaurants. Overall, we had a great time and would happily stay here again.

The villa is absolutely beautiful even more impressive in real life than the photos! The place was spacious with high ceilings and located in a great spot with good options for restaurants, massages spas, hair and nail salons nearby. There is also a convenience store and bottle shop just down the road. Highly recommend this place - we hosted a hens get away here and had an amazing time. :)

We loved our stay at Villa Hestia. Clean, spacious and everything we needed for a girls trip. The pool and outdoor area were a big hit and the quiet location was perfect for what we were after. The house staff were very attentive and helpful in arranging day tours or recommending local places to eat. I loved my time and look forward to coming back with my family for a future stay.

We had the most incredible stay. The villa itself is stunning – spacious, spotless and so thoughtfully set up. It really felt like our own little retreat. A huge thank you to Nyoman and all the staff – they were so kind, welcoming and always went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Their warmth and care really made the trip for us, and we couldn’t rate them highly enough. We left already talking about when we’ll be back – couldn’t recommend this villa more.

Julien’s place was beautiful, perfect for our group of 7. The villa was spacious and well kept and was cleaned daily for us. The staff were lovely and did a great job. Great location in Canggu, right next to a salon, bank, M mart and some restaurants. We appreciated how helpful Nyoman was during our stay as well. Would definitely recommend this villa to a large group or family and we would stay here again.

The villa was exactly as described and just like the photos. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and so comfortable to relax in. The local Balinese assistants were incredibly helpful and accommodating with check-in, cleaning, and clear instructions, which made everything feel effortless. A truly relaxing and enjoyable stay - would definitely recommend

Had our team bonding trip in bali this year and Julien's villa is just the perfect fit for us. Spacious hall, dining area and outdoor area was more than enough for the 9 of us. We were all in awe when we entered the villa, it was beautiful. Nyoman the manager of the villa was super super friendly and helpful. He assisted us in any help that we needed and was very welcoming when we reached. Villa was safe as there were cctv around the compound. Location was good as well, there were supermarket and mini marts just at the main road. Overall, would highly recommend this villa if you are coming here with a big group.

The property was absolutely stunning and looked exactly like the photos. It was very clean and spacious for our group of 12, with all the rooms a great size and equipped with wardrobes. The pool was fantastic and perfect for relaxing together. We felt very safe during our stay, and the location was great. The master bedroom was large and comfortable, though the bathroom could use some improvement, no screens on the showers meant it tended to flood, and one shower splashed water toward the sink instead of straight down. Overall, we had a great stay! Nyoman was lovely, and Julian was extremely helpful with any questions we had.

Great beautiful house for 11 people, loved the pool and lounge area. Staff were very friendly and overall an amazing weekend! Great for large groups of couples, singles ended up in much less lush rooms obviously for kids Only drawback was having to ask for things like enough pool towels for the amount of people staying, working pool lights and for any kind of cleaning product in the kitchen like paper towels. But everything was bought the next day, just would have been nice for those needs to be anticipated. Also only supplied with one thin duvet, not particularly cozy with no option for extra pillows or blankets Bathrooms were a bit janky, the drains flooded immediately getting the floors all wet, and doors on adjoining bathroom didn’t stay shut unless locked from one side

The manager was also very accommodating and made sure all our requests were taken care of without any issues. Overall, we had a really good experience and would definitely recommend Villa Hestia to anyone looking for a spacious, comfortable place to stay with great service and a great location—especially if you're traveling as a group.

So good villa

This villa was absolutely perfect! Everything about it was stunning and spacious, making it ideal for our large family dynamic. The view overlooking the beautiful rice paddies was a rare and breathtaking highlight. The only minor drawback was that the bathroom in the conjoining room only had a handheld shower, which was slightly less convenient for a family with kids. Additionally, while the cleaners were lovely, a bit more attention to detail would have been appreciated given the size of our group. Overall, we’re incredibly grateful for their efforts and the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful villa. We will absolutely be back every year—thank you so much!

Julien is an awesome superhost, he was really responsive and always answered me. His host Komang is immaculate, they did housekeeping everyday and swiftly and neatly, Komang was so helpful to help us organise inhouse massages, pedicures and manicures. I stayed in the villa with 5 other friends for the groom’s 30th birthday and bucks, everyone found it perfect to host such a event. Location wise is perfect, walkable to everything and nearby to great eateries. When I have my buck’s I will definitely be staying here again, but upmost I would highly recommend people travelling in groups or with family to stay at this villa. Thank you to Hestia Villa team for everything you have provided me and my friends, great memories and immaculate service, definitely won’t be the last time we cross paths. I read the reviews before booking and I cannot agree more that the photos do not do the villa justice. I always expect the photos to be better than the place but it was the opposite. The host, cleaners, aesthetic and location are 10/10! We ended up devastated at the end of our stay because we wish we stayed longer. We had no idea we would fall in love. Do not hesitate to book you will not regret your stay at all. Anyone that hasn't given 5 stars made a mistake or are overly fussy.

Die Villa HESTIA war einfach der Wahnsinn. Wir haben uns mit der gesamten Familie von Anfang an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Villa ist wunderschön - noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Die Küche, das Wohnen, die Schlafzimmer und die Bäder sind sehr grosszügig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Aussenbereich lädt sehr zum verweilen ein und die Aussicht auf die Reisfelder ist ein Traum. Ponda und Komang (Hausstaff) waren sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und haben uns alle Wünsch erfüllt. In Fussdistanz erreicht man schnell Cafes und Restaurants.

Julien and team were a fantastic host during our stay in Canggu. The place was a hidden gem, super peaceful and Julien was extremely responsive to assist us with directions, scooters and massages. Overall, it was an excellent experience and would recommend to large group and or couples.

Overall it is a great villa. Suitable if you travel with a group of people. They have everything you need inside the villa, even a gym! Enjoyed our stay here. Thanks for hosting us!

Villa Hestia was AMAZING! We were in awe on arrival it looked EXACTLY as pictured online but seemed way more spacious! It looked like a postcard! Furnishings were magnificent and overall the villa was very clean and well looked after. Positioned at the end of a lane way and away from all the street noise and on top of that backing onto a rice field. This made for a very tranquil space to holiday in….we spent more time than we intended in the villa because of these factors. We were a large family of 10 people with small children and it was beyond all our expectations. Our complimentary breakfast on the first day was a very nice surprise (thank you). Transfer from the airport with Saiful was great…we used him a few times and he was very friendly and professional at all times. We did have an issue with towels unfortunately and even though staff were there every day it continued till the end. Maybe a language barrier between us…I’m not sure! An amazing trip and we hope to be back! Thanks

Love the staircase!! Beautiful villa with massive space. Spacious bedrooms and toilets. Very clean and lots of natural light. Julien was a great host and very efficient in replying. He also accommodated to getting an early check in and an extra bed. We needed to do laundry and the staff in the house sorted it out for us and even folded all our clothes! Great stay! The villa is nearby to some of the famous restaurants around Seminyak.

Perfect for our big group as it has lots of different sitting areas, with plenty of seating at each. It’s also nice to have shade around the pool to get out of the sun.

Loving this villa a little bit too much. Villa is big, clean and pretty. Pool is clean, staff cleans it everyday. Really appreciate the interior design and furniture, very aesthetic. Plenty of natural light. 4 ac in the living room, perfect for hot Bali weather. Absolutely love the kitchen, they have complete cooking tools and baby chair. The villa has great view, next to green paddy field. You can see sunrise. Its quite and peaceful. The location is also great, close to many restaurants. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Please pay attention to the wooden floor in the living room, there are some nails sticking out a bit, and can hurt when you step on it. Overall it was a very nice stay, would love to come back and recommend it to friends. Thankyou julien and team

Absolutely beautiful villa - even better and bigger then the pictures :) the villa manager was always responsive and helped us out when required :) the villa staff came around once a day at an agreed time to clean each morning and were also very lovely! Would love to stay again in the future :)

Two words: Blown Away! A group of 9 girls off on a holiday and this villa did not disappoint. Everyone was amazed and in awe of how beautiful and clean it was. The staff at the villa are incredibly friendly and will help you with whatever you need. We had ladies come to the villa for massages almost daily and this was organised by the lovely staff so Thankyou. I cannot wait to be back. Thankyou!

Wonderful location with many restaurants and supermarkets with walking distance. The villa is not directly near the street hence it’s very quiet, easy location to book a transportation as the villa could be found on many platforms. Definitely recommend this place to everyone! It’s amazing!

Lovely & comfortable stay for family/friends. The building and rooms are clean, the staffs have been very corteous and helpful. We had a blast in the pool and they provide some floaties as well. Overall, we had a great weekend at the villa.

This is a great villa with 5 very good size bedrooms. Well maintained. Nice pool and lots of chilled outdoor area. Canggu is very spread out so there is no real ‘main area’ (so far as I can ascertain) - but this villa is a little away from the main area of restaurants or beach areas. That being said Grab (Uber) rides are super cheap with a 6 passenger vehicle charging around A$7 to anywhere in Canggu and usually it’s only 5-15 mins to anywhere. Walking on the streets isn’t a great idea with minimal sidewalks and cars and scooters driving anywhere there is a gap

We had a great time in villa Hestia. It’s the perfect space for a family, we managed to cook in the villa our nye bbq and all 10 of us fit perfectly in it Gede, the villa security turned out to be a real gem, was so helpful and really helped make our stay perfect. We had small issues with the aircond and bugs, but he was there immediately to rectify The small road leading to villa Hestia was very bumpy and small, with construction going on left and right. But we didn’t feel any of the noise so that was a relief. Highly recommended!
