Exploring Calista Studios TIGA 1 BR Loft Studio in Uluwatu left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Calista Studios TIGA 1 BR Loft Studio in Uluwatu was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my South Kuta plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Calista Studios TIGA 1 BR Loft Studio in Uluwatu painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Нам очень понравилось проживание на этой вилле. Отдельно хотим отметить Ogik — невероятно приятного, дружелюбного и отзывчивого молодого человека, который встретил нас и сопровождал на протяжении всего проживания. С ним было очень комфортно общаться. Сама вилла безумно красивая и очень чистая. Есть всё необходимое, включая приятные мелочи вроде наборов для приготовления кофе и чая. Подъезд к вилле удобный, вокруг спокойно и тихо, при этом всего за 5 минут на байке можно добраться до районов с большим выбором ресторанов и кафе. Отдельно понравилась подборка ресторанов и других интересных мест, которую предоставляют при заселении — очень полезная и приятная деталь. А ещё на территории живёт милейший рыжий кот, который регулярно приходил к нам и по ночам ответственно охранял виллу :) Единственный небольшой минус — в ванной нет вытяжки, поэтому временами может появляться запах сырости. В остальном впечатления исключительно положительные. С удовольствием рекомендуем эту виллу другим гостям!

The loft has a beautiful design, very equipped with everything you need for daily basis. We love the green space in the front and back yard. The location is not walkable but easily Grab/Gojek 10 mins ride from anywhere or famous beaches. There’s also cleaner coming everyday. The bed is extremely comfortable. We encountered electricity outage due to the area problem for the first 2 nights which were not ideal. However, Ogik was responsive in reassuring us and bring us some candles from lighting the day after per requested. Overall, we enjoy our stay here and would recommend.

I had such a wonderful stay here. The studio was absolutely beautiful, and the interior design was stunning, thoughtful, warm, and inviting. Every time I walked in, it genuinely felt like a hug. The location was incredibly peaceful, which made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were also wonderful super responsive, friendly, and always helpful whenever I needed anything. Such a beautiful and calming space. I would happily stay here again!

This AirBnB is the best I ever booked - and I probably had over 50 by now. It so so lovely curated. With detail, love, amazing materials and simplicity. The style gives me the feeling between Japanese, Balinese and Mediterranean. Super friendly team. Would 10/10 recommend. Really lovely and calm area. Though so close to the best spots in Uluwatu. 🙏🏼

A wonderful experience, we had a wonderful time in these cozy apartments. It felt like we was visiting our grandma in the village: cozy, peaceful and calm.

Great place with top and inspiring furniture and interior design. Everything was clean and as described on the description. Super peaceful to walk around and in close distance to all activities around ulu. The host helped us with scooters and everything else we needed.

Calista studio’s is op de maps te vinden maar je komt dat op een adres wat achter het huisje zit, dat heb je na 1 dag wel door. Dat je naar de juiste plek moet navigeren voor de grab. Verder was het huisje echt perfect, ik heb ontzettend genoten van de stijl. Het was super schoon en de host was ontzettend vriendelijk!

Beautifully designed space, super clean! We had a problem with an AC but nobody replied to our messages, however otherwise everything else was perfect.

Would recommend this studio for anyone staying in uluwatu , center for all type of beaches , immersive Japanese experience , top notch cleanliness , amazing recommendation for restaurant and activities, scooter could be provided upon check in . I was shocked to find my place cleaned on my 2nd days of stay for free and without asking .. Best Airbnb experience

We stayed for 2 nights here and it was wonderful. The surroundings are very serene. It might be a bit secluded as you have to pass through a narrow lane to get here, but there are other also alternatives. Might be a little bit dark at night but the villa itself is very well lit. Checking in was easy, Ega is really helpful and responsive. All the amenities are there, and they also provide a coffee dripper which is really nice. Definitely one of the place you would regret not staying! 🥳

Amazing place. The host is amazing. The place is super clean - which is a very rare thing in Bali. We slept like babies there - as it’s in the middle of the forest-ish place on the hill. The attention to detail in the interior design is noteworthy. Loved it.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Calista Studios. Ega was the most amazing and warm host, and George was an awesome driver—we genuinely could not have asked for more. The apartment was impeccable, so clean, and even bigger than we expected from the photos! The wonderful hosts provided everything that we could ever need—we will definitely be back. :)

We stayed at Calista Studios in Uluwatu for 9 days and absolutely loved it — 5 stars! From the moment we booked, the team was fantastic. Ega, the villa manager, was incredibly responsive and helpful, and our driver George was friendly and great company. We were able to easily organise airport transfers and even have a scooter dropped off at the villa through them, which made getting around so simple. The studio itself is in a quiet area, yet only a short scooter ride to all the best restaurants, beaches, and beach clubs. It’s rare in Uluwatu right now to find somewhere without construction nearby, so this peaceful location was a real bonus. The villa was cleaned daily to a high standard, and the gardener was also there daily keeping everything beautiful — both do a fantastic job (don’t forget to leave a tip!). There’s also filtered water provided and board racks out the back, which is perfect if you’re planning on surfing. We’d recommend Calista Studios to couples or solo traveller

Um. I'm just obsessed. It doesn't get better than this. The apartment is STUNNING. It's SO SO CLEAN, smells incredibly, the vibes are immaculate I honestly just felt so peaceful there and me and my partner loved it so much we're already planning for when we can come back in November. I can't wait to try the rest of the villas on the stays with lola IG!! THe location is a 9 min bike to central busy uluwatu/bingin, but just far enough away that you get total peace and quiet. Normally a earplugs girl but didn't need them here! Bedding, furniture, bathroom, towels are all super clean and smell amazing. AND EGA. The host Ega, what a gem. She's so so helpful, kind, smiley, super responsive and helped us get our laundry sorted within an hour. Can't thank her enough for making our trip so special. This might just be the longest review I've written on airbnb but that's just because i LOVE IT HERE. THANK YOU GUYS

Simple elegance. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay here at this Japanese inspired studio. We both value privacy which we felt like we got here. We also appreciated the feeling of being surrounded by the beautiful nature of the mountains. Our studio manager Ega was very friendly and was quick to reply to any questions we had. The only issue we had during our stay was the power / electricity. For 2 days of our trip it was proving difficult to keep cool and charge our devices. However once the technicians finally found the issue, the rest of the stay went smoothly and the power stayed on. We were partially compensated for the inconvenience which we appreciated. It is not walking distance to the main areas however it is only a short 7-10 minute drive on a scooter into the hustle and bustle of Uluwatu. It is a quite a nice and peaceful drive. Overall, if the power situation is all fixed in the future. We would recommend this studio to others :) 🫶

The house is beautifully designed, with thoughtful attention to every detail. The kitchen is fully equipped, and upon arrival, there was even a refreshing lemon sweet water thoughtfully prepared in the fridge. The towels and bedding carried a pleasant, comforting scent. The entire stay was filled with delightful little surprises.

After spending a week in the traffic chaos of Canggu and moving apartments twice, we were lucky to find Calista Villas. We’ve been living through Southeast Asia for six months and have become quite picky when it comes to accommodations — and this place exceeded all expectations. Ega warmly welcomed us to this exceptional villa nestled in the forest. It’s calm, spotless, and beautifully designed with a Japanese touch. The location is ideal — tucked away yet right in the middle of Uluwatu's main hubs, with lots of shortcut routes nearby. Even though it wasn’t included, Ega arranged laundry service for us by picking up our clothes and returning them the next day. The scooter rental was seamless, and Ega even helped us buy a diffuser to take home because we loved the scent in the villa so much. Without a doubt, this was the best villa we’ve stayed in during our time in Bali — absolutely exceptional in every way.

This place is a dream if you’re looking to unplug and soak in some serious peace and quiet. The home itself is beautifully designed—open layout, earthy tones, super zen energy. There’s also a surprisingly great coffee setup, which made our slow mornings even better. Just know: you’re deep in the middle of nowhere. Don’t be surprised if the service cuts out and at night it’s pitch black—like, can’t-see-your-own-hand dark. It’s peaceful, but not for the faint of heart (or city folks who need signal 24/7). The stairs are metal and steep, so if you’re accident-prone or feeling adventurous… walk, don’t run. That said, the staff were so sweet and helpful. They responded quickly and even helped us get a motorbike, which made exploring much easier. If you’re craving stillness, starlight, and strong coffee—this might be your spot.

Ega and her team are so friendly, and this place is really quiet and beautiful. They also provide the best recommendations for exploring Uluwatu. Highly recommend!
