Exploring Camplung Beach Family Villa and Farmstead left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Camplung Beach Family Villa and Farmstead was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kabupaten Buleleng plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Camplung Beach Family Villa and Farmstead painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
Very disappointed with my booking, what should have been a week long holiday with family and friends turned into a 3 night disaster that resulted in us being rudely told to leave. No hot water, problems with power therefore AC and wifi terrible. Bali style smelly, flea ridden animals inside the house and fed in kitchen by staff. Rude unapologetic staff that found it funny. Keith was MIA and we were forced to deal with his local wife who was not great with English or customer service. We chose this place as it looked and sounds luxurious, it was big and budget. There are many better villas in Bali, don’t waste your money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Camplung Beach Villa. The house is huge and perfect for our 3 families as there was lots of space for the children to play. The beautiful gardens and lovely pool were a highlight. Snorkeling right in front of the house was very good. The staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. The home was kept spotlessly clean by the staff every day, which made it a real holiday for us! The children loved the farm animals and enjoyed their interactions with the bunnies in particular! Keith and Herna were very responsive to communications. Highly recommended and worth the long, windy drive!
It’s a great place for families for a few days to explore the other Bali. Ari and Komang are very helpful and the nearby farm was one of the highlights for the kids. Unfortunately we could not use the pool as it was full of algae. They tried to treat it with chlorine but it did not help.

Leuke locatie aan zee. Goed zwembad. Supervriendelijk personeel. Eten was prima en we konden onze wensen doorgeven. Ook een leuke gezamenlijke bbq gehouden met personeel. Goede tips voor uitstapjes.

Not near main tourist attractions however not far from quiet tourist attractions. If you want a family vacay away from noise and crowd perfect. We loved our stay and staff were wonderful. Beautiful home.
怎么说呢，这都是我第三次入住这处房源了，还能说不好么？占地大，花园美丽，超大泳池，出门就是沙滩，下海就可以浮潜，员工热情且尽力满足我们的任何需求。我们这次是四个家庭的大团队，我们喜欢自己做饭，这带来了大量的清洁工作，我非常感谢Ary和Komong帮我们清洗大量的碗碟，还有Putu帮助我们清理从海里捕获的鱼，每天维持花园和泳池的清洁。总之，虽然这个别墅有很多亮点，但服务是我们最满意的一点。这套房源绝对值得推荐给追求高性价比住宿的大团队，我甚至已经预定了明年的住宿。感谢Herna对别墅的精心管理，感谢Ary、Putu 和Komong再次让我们度过了一个完美的假期，明年见！
Beautiful place. Looks very much like the photos. Villa hosts were very responsive and helpful. We were a group of 9 and everyone was made to feel welcome and comfortable. We would come back again.
This was our second time staying at Camplung Beach Villa and we loved it both times. Perfect for big family and friend gatherings. Tons of activities, snorkeling and everything you could want! Will definitely be back!
Herna’s place was a great time for our family! It is a truly beautiful villa that had a lot of things for us to do. Ari and the staff at Camplung Beach Villa are amazing at answering questions, arranging drivers for us to get to places, and also kept the house clean everyday. The staff truly goes above and beyond!
Wir hatten großartige 10 Tage in der Villa und haben jede Sekunde genossen. Perfekte Raumaufteilung für uns (3 Familien, 3 Kinder mit 2, 5 und 5 Jahren). Toller Pool, fantastische, ruhige Lage, super viel Platz und vor allem ein sensationelles Team vor Ort ! Tolle Unterstützung bei der Organisation von Ausflügen, dem Mieten von Rollern und vor allem wahnsinnig leckeres Essen - jeden Tag alles frisch eingekauft und zubereitet. Vielen Dank an Ari und das Team ! Alles in allem haben wir hier einen sehr schönen Urlaub mit einem beeindruckenden Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis erlebt !
We visited with family from around the world, our hosts Ari and Komang looked after us in every possible way, they gave us great advice on excursions as well as cooking and cleaning for us. The food is the best in the world, we couldn’t have been happier! Gede the driver took us anywhere we wanted and looked after us, paying great attention to everything we needed. This is a perfect venue for a family vacation, great swimming pool and so much space! The area in north Bali is unspoilt, so you really get an authentic experience of Balinese life and culture.
A lovely large seafront property with the ocean right on our doorstep. The warm water and provided snorkelling gear made it perfect for exploring. The staff were excellent and cooked several meals for us, adapting menus for our large group, which was greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Gede, our driver, who was brilliant throughout—very responsive and full of great recommendations. He organised fantastic tours, including a honey bee farm, coconut factory, and a stunning waterfall. The highlight was snorkelling with turtles on the east side of the island, surrounded by the most beautiful fish. Overall, very kind and helpful staff who made our stay truly memorable.

This place is amazing, front and back garden is lovely, lots of common area to have quality time with loved ones. Rooms are spacious and clean, clean linnen and towels, comfortable beds. The staffs came everyday for house keeping. They are very accommodating. Definitely recommend this place. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much for having us. Cheers
This home is everything our family could have wished for! Highly recommend staying here. The served meals were excellent and staff went out of their way to accommodate requests. Many day trip attractions near the home, but once we arrived we had a hard time leaving! Great snorkeling right out the door. Beautiful pool. Local massages were arranged and wonderful. Thank you Keith for sharing your home and thank you staff for the superb care!
We really enjoyed our stay at Camplung. Ari and Kumong looked after our family and made us feel very spolt. The food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. We can recommend massages by the pool, a trip to Yeh Mampeh waterfall, a visit to the Yudha Trigona honey farm and feeding the farm animals. The little kittens hanging around the property were also a huge hit for the kids. We hired scooters and found getting around was easy enough and we liked the food at Warung Seni. Camplung gave our 3 teens their own space when they needed it, which we really loved. if you are looking for great value, a beautiful outlook and the feeling of space, and a hassle free relax, definitely consider Camplung.
We had a wonderful stay at Camplung Beach Villa. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful spacious, stylish, and perfectly maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make sure our family felt comfortable and cared for. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a memorable holiday. Highly recommended!
We had a fantastic stay! We felt so looked after by all the staff, they were all lovely! We are already planning our return stay for next year :). It was my birthday during our stay and they made my day so special, with lovely decorations and yummy food! Our kids loved the farm animals and the adorable Lola! Thank you for a fantastic week!

Мы арендовали виллу, чтобы уютно по семейному отпраздновать день рождение . И это было лучшим решением, вилла прекрасная, уютная, у нас было 5 детей разного возраста и им всем было чем заняться. Персонал очень приветлив. Комнаты очень большие и организованы так что мы друг друга не слышали, тк были и маленькие дети - это важный факт. Вернемся обязательно на эту виллу, чтобы снова побыть в уединении с природой и комфортом как дома .
We booked the villa for a family holiday. The accommodation was superb and exactly what we were looking for. The staff were amazing and they cooked us breakfast and dinner most days. We had access to a dedicated driver and everybody was so helpful. I can not recommend this place enough it was fantastic
Everything was great ! Place is magical ! For me the only thing I didn’t like that stuff comes whenever they want and walking around the house cleaning so it’s just good to tell if you don’t want the stuff in the house beforehand

We were blown away by Camplung Villa and their staff. We were so well taken care of and had an amazing first time visit to Bali. I highly recommend Tejakula for a more peaceful stay in Bali. We enjoyed the huge pool and were impressed by the snorkelling right outside the villa gate. The food was delicious at the villa. We were impressed by every meal! We will definitely be back!
Everyone at the villa was the absolute sweetest and so helpful! We had lots of meals made there and they were so delicious. All of our excursions were so fun, we were able to get pick up from the airport and even transport to our next place. The massages were also so amazing! I was so sad to leave and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. So peaceful
Camplung villa was absolutely beautiful, Ari was wonderful he helped us any questions we had went into town to get us some treats to try,he also went above and beyond to try get the wifi fixed , my family of 9 ppl had meals prepared in the villa and it was very tasty so yummy everyone enjoyed it overall we had an amazing time will definitely return . I have lived in Bali for over 10 years and have been to hundreds of villas and hotels over the years. This Villa was one of my favorite ever. Why? Because this was one of the first villas that I have ever visited that actually felt like it was built for, and inhabited by, a family. It has every imaginable amenity that a kid of any age could wish for. And as any parent knows… happy kid, happy life! This villa over delivered on almost every level and every member of our group, ranging from 3 years old to 80 years old, was perfectly happy with everything! Yes, it’s far from anything, but that’s totally the point and I couldn’t have been happier. Also, worth mentioning is the fantastic snorkeling straight out the gate! Highly recommended!!
We had the pleasure of spending several days with family at Camplung villa. It was well above our expectations and the staff went above and beyond to make our holiday one we will never forget. From call oking amazing meals for us each night to giving tips on local attractions and organizing massage's in the garden, it was a magic get away. We will be back, thank you so much!!
My family stayed over Christmas and it was great! Owners were responsive and they had Ari come to the house daily to help with needs. We were able to get massages, had homecooked dinner, motorcycle rentals were also arranged for us. During our travel to the villa, we also stopped by a restaurant overlooking Mt. Batur. Highly recommended stay for a big group!
We had a wonderful stay at Camplung. Ari, Komang and the team were so kind and helpful. The food they prepared for us at the villa was great. The villa is absolutely beautiful. Huge pool that has shade all day, the kids barely needed sunscreen. Ari organised everything we needed. Local highlight is the beautiful Les Waterfall. The villa is about a four hour drive across the mountains to the north side of the island. There are virtually no tourists in this area, it is a very authentic experience of Bali. We had a very relaxed family holiday, meeting up with my parents and taking it easy by the pool most days. It was bliss.
Breathtaking views all around. The house was great for our families. Ari, Komang, & staff were friendly and attentive. Being able to snorkel and see coral in the backyard (the sea) was amazing. The massages we had at the place were relaxing. Stayed over 2 weeks and felt very relaxed. Only 2 issues and there is not much the host can do about it. There aren’t many food options so maybe bring some food from bigger cities when you come. We did have some noise/air issues from time to time. Sometimes it was loud music, sometimes many roosters, sometimes people would be burning trash. Overall it was an incredible and relaxing experience.

Perfecte locatie om heerlijk van vakantie te genieten. Het uitzicht blijft adembenemend. Er is genoeg te doen rondom het huis; zwemmen, snorkelen in de zee, badminton en je kan het zo gek niet bedenken. Het personeel is heel erg zorgzaam en heel vriendelijk!
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Keith’s and Herna’s villa! More beautiful than we could ever imagine. We were welcomed to see the farm animals, the kids fed them and collected eggs. The villa backed onto the beach. Wonderful views, real family place too with toys and games! Boys loved playing pool and badminton, Great use of equipment too such as bikes, snorkels, rackets etc. Great accommodation - we all loved the space! Real Balinese feel to it too. Ari and the staff are just amazing! The food was to die for and wonderful hospitality! Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou! Only bad thing g was only having 2 nights! We will be back for longer !!!
Goede communicatie met Keith en complimenten voor zijn team! Hou je van afgelegen en geen of nauwelijks toerisme dan is het zeker de moeite waard. Hou er rekening mee dat je zeker 4 uur onderweg ben van Zuid Bali naar Noord Bali. Wij als familie hebben een mooie tijd gehad!
Camplung Beach Villa was incredible. The house was perfect for our two families. I can’t say enough about the staff. Ari, Komang, and Putu were friendly and helpful. The food was the best. Ari and Komang made the best fish dinners with what we caught on our fishing trip. It was great to meet Keith on our last night. I can’t say enough good things about Camplung Beach Villa.

We ended up finding Keith’s home on Air B&B after he had a cancellation. Their loss was my gain. The home was absolutely beautiful. It was well furnished, clean, and perfectly set up for a large family to stay. The owner was super responsive to my million questions and he was always polite about whatever I requested. The staff at the home was wonderful and helpful. They helped set up massage therapists to come to the home last minute. I would absolutely stay at this home again. If you have a trip planned to Bali and you are looking for a peaceful getaway this home should be the first you book.

we had an amazing stay here! Ari and his team were super helpful, made us delicious local food and helped us with everything - from booking a masseuse to come to the house, to getting us extra local chocolate spread or booking local tours. the house was super nice and big with all the amenities we needed and gave our family the space to play, explore and relax. we wished we had booked a longer stay there.
We spent 5 lovely days at the villa. Ari is very attentive and kormak is a wonderful chef. We had a splendid time!
The place is so big with the huge bathrooms…it has a private pool and a big yard…if you want to find a peaceful gathering with your family, I’ll recommend this place
Our family had a lovely time. It was awesome to be able to just walk a few steps to the ocean (aqua shoes recommended bc of stones) where we did some amateur snorkeling. My daughter was over the moon to see the small fishes swimming in the afternoon times. Badminton with family was super fun. Beach views from the upstairs bedrooms are absolutely goregeous for early risers. Ari and the rest of the staff team were responsive and helpful. Hope we can stay again next year! Thank you

Camplung Beach Villa is breathtaking. The villa is perfect for a quiet relaxing getaway with close friends and family. If I could give the staff 100 stars I would. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Ari is an amazing house manager and Coma is an excellent cook. We had meals there almost everyday and every meal was wonderful. Ari made sure our stay was perfect, he even played go fish and badminton (sp?) with our boys. There is a beautiful reef right outside the house that we snorkeled to and a great little restaurant that we walked to a few times. Our stay here was magical I only wish we could have stayed longer. The drive from the airport is long but it’s worth it. Just make sure to take your motion sickness medication if you get car sick ;)
If you are looking for a luxury stay in a beautiful and peaceful area you cannot go past Camplung! The staff are amazing and I highly recommend getting them to cater your meals. We had 4 young children in our group and they always made sure to include some chicken nuggets for dinner which is a sure with our kids. Need a bag of ice or a few more limes for your drinks don't worry Ari and the team are on it. It is safe to say that pictures on the booking are great but the place is even better in person. We stayed at 4 different places on our trip to Bali this year and this was the stand out winner. We will be back!!!

The Villa is amazing. We had a large family get together. Not only is the Villa incredibly well-maintained. We also had help who cleaned it every day for us. They were very kind in organizing, all sorts of excursions, car rides, and even a full buffet dinner for 20 people on request Highly recommend the place for large families, group of friends, or corporate off sites Where you would like to have a lot of time together with the group in one place
The Villa is situated in a quiet part of Bali.. a bit secluded but it is great if you are looking for some peace and serenity which we did. We are a family of 7 with teenagers, kids, and a 3 years old baby… there are plenty to do for everyone… and this place is huge. The house keepers are always around to assist whenever you need anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and highly recommended if you are coming in group
The house is very spacious, they have everything we need. I came to have reunion with big families, we could play wordgame, badminton, use their bike, Netflix, playhouse for the kids. We had a great quality time with each other. beautiful garden and swimmingpool. Clean, spacious room. The staff clean the kitchen, livingroom, and the garden every day. They were very helpful. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday. We will for sure come back to stay longer next time.
Wonderful stay for a group. The host team is very accommodative and helpful with everything. Highly recommended for groups is you want a beautiful place to yourself with your own pool and beach access. Place was exactly what the photos showed!
We wish we stayed longer. We are a family group of 16 and we stayed for 6 nights. If there wasnt another booking straight after us we would have stayed longer. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There is a lot of heart in this wonderful spacious, spotless and well located house. Everyone loved the beautiful pool and the ocean. A lot of time was spent in the water. Best place I have ever stayed in in Bali. We will definitely be back. It was fantastic to be in such a peaceful part of Bali in a fabulous beachside location with something for all the different generations of our family. We all send our love to the wonderful staff and of course to Moka (hope the spelling is right) the dog in residence.

very accommodating host. He set us up with an excellent driver! the place is a short beach walk to a nice restaurant (which has lots of vegan and gluten-free options!). the staff at the villa were all very friendly and helpful. there are lots of little thoughtful touches (like extra toothbrush sets and homemade juice upon our arrival). the kitchen is very well stocked with many basics (oil, spices, a wide variety of cooking equipment and loads of non-perishable goods!). the host also provided bikes and set us up with a lovely massage therapist! we would highly recommend this villa! :)
Thank you Keith and Herna for a wonderful stay! Guests coming from south Bali (Seminyak/airport etc) should know that it’s a long drive which is very windy in parts. Think 3-4.5 hrs depending on traffic. However it’s well worth the drive. This place is amazing! A huge house with massive rooms and living spaces, beautiful gardens, huge pool, beautiful beach and friendly locals. We were 4 families staying for 3 nights. It was so great to see a different part of Bali. We could have stayed for longer and explored the area more. Special thanks to the amazing staff who were so attentive. They cooked breakfast and dinner for us and every meal was amazing, especially when you add the special sambal! Book this place!

别墅非常宽敞，有许多休闲设施，有玩具屋，有超大泳池，有可以打羽毛球的大草坪，还有MOKA和她的四只小狗，非常适合带孩子的家庭，我的三个个孩子都舍不得离开。工作人员非常友好，让房子保持的非常干净，食物也做的非常好。我是个自由潜水爱好者，可以负责任的说，我在巴厘岛北部呆了20天，住了三套民宿，这套房子前的海域是最适合浮潜和自由潜练习的，房子后院直通大海，正前方是一片沙底的浅滩，每天早上都有一大群鲻鱼在觅食。浅滩两侧都是健康的珊瑚礁，右侧两百米有一处15米深的断崖，左侧两百米6米深处有一些有趣的人工造型，还有一群可爱的鲳鱼。离岸边150米应该就可以达到30米的深度，非常适合自由潜水。至少在我住的一周里，水质是非常清澈的，大部份时候都可以达到15米以上的能见度，当然下午会差一些。总之，我会再回来的。

The villa is very clean, huge and beautiful! Very child-friendly. The kitchen was well-equipped. The host is very nice and the staff is super helpful and friendly. The driver Gede was especially helpful. All the staff are really amazing. We had a wonderful time! A special thanks to Herna for being such a wonderful host!
Lovely stay for a week with the family flying in from different parts of the world. Especially the staff was very kind. Our children loved them and the house.
We would highly recommend Camplung Beach Villa. Everything was perfect from the communication beforehand to the way we were looked after when we arrived. We were a family group of 11 with quite a range of dietary requirements and the staff were absolutely marvellous about accommodating all this. We would say to anyone staying - eat at the villa because you won't get better food anywhere - the meals were really delicious and so varied - all local Balinese food,which we asked for, and a beautiful selection of fruit. The staff arranged transport for us whenever we wanted it and very efficiently. Thank you Komang, Komang and Komang for looking after us, arranging everything for us and the fantastic cooking; Putu for keeping the gardens so beautiful and getting fresh coconuts for us and Gede for driving us everywhere. We miss you all as you made our family reunion so special. Thank you Keith and Herna for your help and communication before our stay making it all stress free. Five star plus
Its heaven for stay cation, huge villa with up to date aminities, two beach facing rooms 2 mountain facing and 2 garden view rooms on ground floor. For renting boats villa staff is helpful.you have to be ready at 6 am for a two hour boat ride, we had several spectacular views of dolphins pod. Although the waters are not clear enough for coral watch. Also you need your own equipment if you want to opt snorkeling as the villas equipment is too old and unfit for use. Over all the staff is well trained for a lovely breakfast. Barbecue equipment are perfect with A nominal charge.
It was an amazing place!!!! My family felt right at home the instant we walked in ❤️. 1. Camplung Beach Villa is situated in a beautiful beachfront setting and we absolutely loved waking up to the view everyday. It's private and so quiet we enjoyed the relaxation. Loved waking up to the Roosters every morning, it reminded me so much of the islands. We had 19 people stay and we had so much room. The place is so well maintained. 2. The staff were so beautiful, I'm crying just thinking about them. We had a buffet breakfast and dinner cooked for us everyday and they also cleaned up too. They made our stay so worth it! Thank you Putu, Komang (X3) and Gede for making our family feel very much at home, we will forever be grateful ❤️. We'll definitely return again. 3. Keith and Herna were very responsive and accommodating which I loved. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, my family will forever cherish this place. We are grateful for the family memories we had at Camplung 🙏.
The place is so perfect! Surely better than the photos. Lots of activities we can do in the villa. I recommend to stay in the villa 2 nights minimum because it is so cozy and feels like home. Family will love the place, it is so private and huge villa.
The place was great, very spacious, beautiful sea view, big rooms and garden. We enjoyed the pool a lot. Sunrise was beautiful. My original plan was to stay for 2 days, but due to some reason, I had to cut short my plan and leave early. I wish I had more time here to enjoy the place. Some negatives: 1. The neighbors had karaoke, which I had read in previous reviews, runs till 10pm. In our case, they were loud and noisy till midnight, and then the roosters started their songs at 4AM, leaving very little sleep. 2. The living rooms are huge and great place to chitchat and play games, but unfortunately with no AC anywhere, so we were drenched in sweat within minutes, and had to return to rooms. Even after keeping all doors and windows open, it was unbearable to sit and enjoy our family dinner. 3. I had read about BBQ equipment here, so we got all the stuff with us only to find we need to provide 1 day notice to arrange charcoal. Since we reached around 7PM, we could not even go out.
There are 15 of us and we had an extremely relaxing time during our stay here. The house is spacious and beautiful, very kids friendly. The kids love the mini farm and had an amazing time at the big pool. The house care takers are very helpful, nice, and friendly. They constantly making sure the house and kitchen is clean and tidy without getting in our way of enjoying the space. We will miss them and Moka, the dog who is always around the house. We’ll definitely stay here again if we ever venture out to northern Bali.

Great large place to stay for great price, hosts were very kind and there was good amenities. Spectacular view, hiring transport is sometimes a little difficult because of where it is.
We enjoyed a lovely stay at Keith's house with our family over the weekend. The house and the rooms are huge and clean, although the chicken next door can be a bit annoying as they make noise starting 4:30 am. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location of house is very isolated, so better bring things to eat with you as shops are not within walking distance. Its a wonderful place for the kids with a nice garden, a large pool, clear water in the ocean, a play house in the garden and the farm in walking distance. We can absolutely recommend this place for a short trip. Thank you for the warm hospitality.
The host is responsive, accommodating and very friendly. We had a large group of different families get together there for 7 nights. The beach is not that usable since it's a pebble beach and the waves were too strong during our time there. Our highlight was the house dog Mocha who had babies while we were there, the kids and everyone was super excited. They do prayers daily the Balinese way and it was great for the kids. The playhouse was also very interesting for the kids and there heaps of frogs, chickens around the compound which kept the kids entertained. The farm is in a different location nearby, the staff would be happy to direct you there at any time. The location is a little difficult to find, so if you plan to drive there on your own, just try arriving before it gets dark. Thank you to the team at Camplung Beach Villa for the great holiday!!
Amazing spot - book it while you still can! This beachfront Villa is a good spot for a big family or several couples. I would gladly stay here again as would the rest of my family. If you're looking to relax and unwind, it's a good fit! It's not a great fit if you want a busy, cultural tourism or pub filled week (for that, you should stay closer to Ubud or Denpasar). But the location is superb if you like motorcycle day trips into the mountains atop the clouds. Kintamani is only an hour away and the road is virtually free of traffic and well maintained. This place is a true gem. The only downsides (and they are few) are quite typical for anywhere in Indonesia: neighbors burning lawn refuse and occasionally quirky hot water showers. Overall these were minor and did not spoil our stay. Kudos to this great host and his team.
Stay here. It’s amazing. Don’t trust the photos: they’re understated relative to the scale and beauty of the place. Know the location you’re signing up to though. Other reviewers clearly didn’t research Bali or Buleleng… it’s secluded. That’s what we liked about it. At the bottom of this essay is some local recommendations from our 5 weeks at the place which we are confident you will find helpful. Amenity: The house is delightful and equipped with everything you could think of. This was especially helpful for our baby, who made good use of the cot, high chair, car seat and toys. We asked for some things that weren’t visible to us… and they just randomly appeared. It was like magic. Three massive lounge areas, beautiful waterfront bar and cafe style dining area, waterfront massage hut, delightful swimming pool with a kids shallow area, bikes, kids playroom, yoga area, green yard, big kitchen… ahhhh. I miss it. The only thing it doesn’t have yet is a gym, but I think they’re adding one in the near future so stay tuned. We also converted an empty room into a large meeting space, and setup two WFH stations on the rear balcony. There’s never been a more “boss” zoom background than the bright blue ocean and palm trees swaying in the breeze. They have a car you can hire, access to good drivers, a scooter, and they will make bookings on your behalf - restaurants, scuba lessons, massages, etc. Food: The staff cooking was better than we expected by a long way. We ate with market availability almost every day… and never regretted it. Fresh fish, amazing soups, excellent noodle dishes, etc. I recommend just asking the staff to get what is fresh and how many people you want to feed. It was always good value, tasty and typically left us enough extra food for lunch the next day. Ayu and Komang make an incredible sambal and also do some potato crackers… the combination of which is dangerous for anybody aiming to lose weight. I will say they’re limited by ingredient availability - so most of your western favourites are not going to be your greatest memory of this place. But also, if you want good pizza don’t go to Bali? The local food is so good you don’t need your favourite croissants. If you’re desperate, they’ll go to the market for you too. The house: We were so stoked to find the place was bigger and more grand than the photos. Each bedroom is bigger than my apartment. We had up to 3 families in the place at any time, and honestly it ended up feeling like we had to schedule times and places to meet the place was so big. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was great. Bathrooms were big. Same with the kitchen. The only things we had problems with were the oven and second freezer. Neither impacted our stay at all. The beach: You have waterfront access onto the Rocky / pebble beach. We hardly used the beach as walking along it was a bit difficult for the oldies and young ones with us, and there’s a rubbish problem that plagues most of Bali. This said, having a morning coffee and listening to the waves move the pebbles around, and sipping on cocktails through breathtaking sunsets every night are among my fondest memories of this place. The garden: The garden is large enough for kids to run around in, and has a well equipped cubby house full of toys. This said, the lack of sea breeze can make it wildly hot and humid. We had a dinner on the green which was lovely, but being out there together over the day was not a common event (particularly because the waterfront area was so good). Location: This place is in Buleleng as the name, listing and website all say very clearly. Buleleng is a different kind of destination to Denpasar, Ubud, etc. So, research what that means before booking, because it does impact your proximity to many of the more famous tourist hotspots. If you’re expecting to pop out to Locavore for dinner or catch a sunset a Ku de ta or even hike Batu… adjust your expectations accordingly. Key question is: Does this matter? It did not for us. The diving right off the beach in front of the house was incredible. The food prepared by the staff was way better than even they claimed. The local environ gives you plenty to do. I will say the 3 hour drive to get there after 30 hours of flying was a bit gruelling though. Things we didn’t love: Worth saying up front, I live in AirBnBs full time. This is the best run place I’ve ever stayed in, and probably the most comfortable. They’ve earned 5 stars. However the villa, as secluded as it is, was surrounded by wildly noisy neighbours. In the course of our 5 week stay, I think 6 or so nights involved horrific Indonesian karaoke, German trance and / or what I think were Bollywood style covers of American country and western music at top volume from 4pm to 10pm audible in every room of the house. The neighbours on one side also have talkback radio on all day at a pretty loud volume. The staff were super apologetic, but also couldn’t do anything about it. While it never went that late at night, there were a few days / nights it impacted our baby’s naps. Otherwise, improvements we would support would be black out blinds in the rooms and better equipping the pool bar area with some glasses, etc. so you don’t have to haul stuff out there (the staff did help us with this though). Some of the oldies with us would probably have appreciated something to hold onto in the showers. Last, wifi was excellent for Bali, but reception wasn’t awesome in every room. Device-free time was a gift, but given how awesome
La villa est superbe, très spacieuse, fonctionnelle. Elle profite d’un grand espace extérieur avec une énorme piscine. Le plus de cette villa est l’accès direct à la plage. Une balançoire est même disponible sur celle ci en face de la villa. Petit + : se lever tôt pour apprécier le superbe lever de soleil 🌅. L’emplacement de cette villa est superbe pour un séjour calme. La personnel était très serviable. Nous avons pu louer des scooters 🛵 par leurs soins.
Far from the crowds and the traffic of South Bali, this northern gem is well worth the journey. So much space and so relaxing, with a fantastic attentive team we enjoyed every minute of it. The only hard thing was leaving.
Staying at this crib is simply breathtaking! Herna and Keith are absolutely supportive even months before the arrival. This outstanding hospitality continuous with Ayu and the team from the moment we arrived at the villa. This team gave us the feeling to be very much welcome and they did everything to make our vacations unforgettable. The villa and the property are the best we have booked in multiple years at airbnb. There is so much space and everything is equipped with an eye on details and with style, that even at the end of the week we had difficulties to realize, that we are the only guests at this seaside place. Cleaning inside and outside the villa on a daily base has completed the impression of living in a high-class environment, supplemented by delicious and fresh food, prepared by Ayu and the team on request. The bottom line: if you want to have some unforgettable days on Bali, this is the place to stay!
This villa was an amazing getaway for our family. If there was any way possible we would move in permanently! The house itself was huge with plenty of space and lots of individual spaces for everyone to be close as a family but also be able to have some privacy. We stayed for 1 month and found everything to be great. The Farmstead with the animals was so cool for the kids to visit and experience. They have a standalone playhouse for the kids with toys, and lots of space, a huge yard for staying active, the pool was beautiful and it is RIGHT on the beach. Just an incredible place for our family to enjoy our month in Bali. We also got SCUBA certified right in the villa's pool, and could walk directly into the ocean to dive the reef offshore. The beach is a volcanic rock beach so getting to the water is uncomfortable unless you have water sandals. The location was perfect for our family but be aware that it is quite a ways away from a major town. The only close stores are small shops and markets for locals. There are no big supermarkets or retail stores nearby. Have a car or hire/rent the villa vehicle to get around easily. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful non-touristy side of Bali for any length of stay. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing place to stay. If you are looking for a big but a homey feeling in the north, don’t look any further. We stayed here with 2 families for 2 nights to hike the Mount Batur and the kids were having so much fun in and around house. They have a great pool, badminton field and even a tiny playhouse with lots of toys for the kids to enjoy. We enjoyed a bonfire on the beach and the big swing. It’s not the most ideal place for hiking the Mount Batur, because it’s still a 1,5h drive and 2am pickup (same as you would come from Canggu), but the villa made up to it big time. The only downside is the lack of GoFood, which means you are tight to either cooking yourself, the in-house catering (which was great!) or another Warung from which you can order through WA (not recommended). The beach itself is barely walkable (lots of boulders/stones) and there is not much to do around the villa, so I would recommend just staying at the villa and enjoying your time! All and all, we really enjoyed the place. Thanks to all the staff who kept everything clean, cooked for us and even played with the kids! Terima kasih 🙏

This place is so much more than our expectations. What you see in the photos are actually so much better in real. The place is HUGE, literally. We are 15 people and 1 infant staying in this villa, the space is super spacious that the kids can running around, playing til they get exhausted. The pool is big, everyone can swim happily. The rooms, the living room, every corner of this place is sparkling clean. We planned to stay 1 night before because we’re not sure whether we’d like the villa, but we end up extending 1 more night since our staying here is super awesome. Recommended for people with big group! It’s awesome, we give 5 stars.

We stayed here with 11 people - members of our family flew in from all over the globe to spend 7 amazing and memorable days here together - creating special memories and just having fantastic family time. The property and house were just enormous - the photos do not show the scale and size of the house, rooms and outdoor space. The rooms were clean, spacious and well-equipped, with more than enough beds for everyone (including a cot for the baby). The staff went above and beyond to make us welcome, Ayu's cooking skills were just fabulous (we went up to the resort for dinner one night, which was nice, but we all agreed that Ayu's cooking at the house was far superior!). All of the staff were communicative and helpful and Ayu helped us organise a trip to a waterfall, daily massages and transport back to the airport with no trouble! We had a fabulous time and thank Keith and Herna for having shared such a beautiful house for us to use. Super highly recommended! :)
Three nights was not enough at this amazingly beautiful villa. We were travelling with 6 adults and 3 children and loved everything about our experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and great with the children. Bedrooms were enormous with beautiful views from each - stunning mountain views from one side and views of the pool and beach from the other side. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom and air conditioner, and was clean and very comfortable. The rest of the house got a little warm, though not uncomfortably so, and the bedrooms could easily be kept cool. The pool was really beautiful and grounds well kept. We had windy, rainy weather while there (February) and didn't spend much time on the beach, but were in the pool multiple times each day. We opted to have most meals at the Villa, and were impressed by the variety and spread that was put out by Ayu and team. There was a great mix between traditional Balinese food and more Western dishes so there was always something to suit the taste of everyone in our group that consisted of vegetarians, vegans and very fussy meat eaters. Our stay was only short, so we didn't see much of the local area, but did have a driver on one day, who took us to visit a local Hindu temple, and to Les Waterfall which had a beautiful jungle walk to reach the falls. The villa is set among a fairly agricultural setting so there were always animals to be heard (dogs, roosters, pigs, cows, etc), as well as small critters (frogs, insects, barking gheckos, etc) so even though the villa was out of the way there were lots of sounds. This wasn't a detraction for us, and we enjoyed being close to nature.
Book this Villa and stop looking for another place!!! We couldn’t believe our eyes when we first arrived. It felt like we landed in paradise. The outside area with the pool is the highlight and we spend most of our time there! The rooms are big and spacious and every room got it’s own bathroom. The staff was amazing, helped us with every request and made us feel welcome! And the food they cooked for us was so delicious!! Especially we enjoyed that the villa was so far away from all the tourist spots and we could live the real Bali experience. (Everything is still reachable within a reasonable time though) I would always come back here and am already recommending the place to all my friends who are planning to come to Bali. Thanks again to Keith and Herna and the amazing staff for everything!!
我们是一行18成人和2个小孩入住，从南巴厘到北巴厘路途艰辛，4小时车程加翻山越岭。不过，当所有人到达酒店的那一刻，劳累顿时消失了，无不欢呼雀跃，叹为观止，背山面海，风水一流，一楼超大客厅，以及八间超大卧室，走过客厅，就是一个泳池花园，走过泳池就是海滩。海水清澈，我们几个年轻人下水就去浮潜，游出20米就是珊瑚群和鱼群。大家在这里度过了难忘的大年三十，除夕夜。在这里的三天，我们还出海去追海豚，竟然以为的看到了鲸鱼，每个人都惊呆了，当数以千计的海豚在你旁边起跳游泳追随，你会觉得梦想成真了。我相信，所有人都在这里留下了难以忘却的记忆，美好，幸福。感谢房子的主人能够分享这种快乐给全世界的人。
What a wonderful villa. We stay with my family at camplung beach villa, the best villa I ever had for group. We’re really enjoyed stay here. The staff was very nice, helpful and very friendly. The food they’re cooked is delicious. The villa is so big and clean. The room is huge. Lots of space and very comfortable sofa. The Pool is amazing so big and clean. the kids enjoyed their play at the garden. I would coming back one day and stay more longer. And also the price very cheap 👍🏻 Very recommend.
It was a very nice villa with beautiful scenery, but unfortunately we only stayed for one day. We will stay for a few more days next time
The villa is absolutely amazing! The house & grounds are spacious, clean, and the staff look after you so well, it feels like you have your own private resort, right on the beach. It's the perfect place for a group of friends/family to get together. The food that's cooked by the friendly staff is beautiful & tasty. Although the villa is a little out of the way (approx 3.5 hrs from the airport), it's worth the trip! Highly recommended!

We spent an amazing time at the Villa. At first we could not believe it being so beautiful, clean and big. The swimmingpool, the home cooked dinners, the lovely Staff doing everything to make us feel at home. We loved the massages, trips to the waterfalls and seeing the dolphins! And lets not forget sweet Bob the labrador and Elvis the cat..It was really hard to leave again and hope to be back one day!
Very quite non touristy part of the island. Not much shopping to be done so good preparation is required if you intend on being self sufficient. The setting is fantastic and if a highly relaxing environment is what your after you couldn’t do better.
Camplung Beach Villa is wonderful. I stayed with a group of seven women from my family and we all just fell in love with Bali, Tejakula, the staff. Ayu was especially sweet, helpful, accommodating and went out of her way so do things to make sure that we were getting the most out of our trip. She arranged for excursions, set us up with drivers/tour guides and even adjusted her menus to align with our likes/expectations. We left Tejakula one day earlier to be closer to the airport and arrange for some excursions that we could not do in Tejakula. We quickly learned what we already knew, there is nothing better in Bali than Tejakula and Camplung Beach Villa. When we go back to Bali, we will do our best to come back to Camplung Beach Villa.
That was a superb stay! We stayed with our whole family of thirteen and three kids. The rooms are very spacious and with spacious bath rooms. All very clean and properly maintained. The staff was super help full and prepared nice breakfasts and very nice buffet dinner we enjoyed so much. They arranged the scuba tanks we needed directly at pool. We did do some scuba diving directly in the beach front ocean; enjoyed the house reef, observed corals with beside the regular coral fish also lion fish and moray eel, while others of us enjoyed staff arranged professional massage under the gazebo at the pool. Our kids enjoyed also the nice and big pool will a shallow compartment for our kids. Kids enjoyed playing with Bob a super kid friendly Labrador. Some of used also well maintained bicycles of the house to cycle in the area around. We enjoyed our stay very much and will see to come here again. Thanks from all us!

Six friends and I rented Camplung Beach Villa for a month and it exceeded everything I expected. The Villa is just as the photos suggest - spacious, stylishly and comfortably furnished, and very, very clean. Keith and Herna are responsive and friendly. The staff is amazing - knowledgable, helpful, hospitable. They took great care of us and the food they cooked was the best that we tried on the island, especially when they cooked traditional Balinese food. They were able to coordinate any services we needed while we were there (from emergency dental work and a chiropractor, to body treatments, massage, etc.), they made great suggestions about places to visit and arranged some amazing day trips for us. The villa is on beautiful grounds, has a very nice swimming pool and is a five minute swim from reefs with a variety of coral and sea life. Highlights from our trip include: sitting out in the back, watching the full moon rise over the ocean; taking several waterfall hikes within an hour of the villa; playing dominoes on the back porch during an afternoon rain shower. My six friends and I all had to do work while we were there, and while the internet isn't blazing fast, it's workable. The property is in between two farms with roosters, but we found that earplugs (especially the wax swim earplugs) or headphones worked to drown out the sound. This was my second trip to Bali, and by far the best experience I've had. The location is remote (a four hour trip from the airport) and it's village life rather than being in the city, but being so far out of the highly touristed areas felt like a more authentic experience of life in Bali and was exactly what we wanted. I can't say enough great things about this property and the month we spent there. I can't wait to go back...
This place is definitely worth a visit. The location is out of the way from tourist Bali and the journey over mountains to get here, is worth every mile travelled. There are next to no tourists so the sunset dolphin trip with the locals and the trip to the local waterfall, feels very genuine. Keith’s team cooked us breakfast and dinner every day and so fresh and delicious and very reasonable prices too. The pool is amazing and local massage people came to give us massages daily! Highly recommended and the staff are so warm and welcoming too.

Keith and Hernas place was stunning and immaculate . Our group were blown away with the decor and attention to detail in this amazing property. There were push bikes . Real up to date snorkel equipment . PlayStations so our group of children were never bored . The house is so big hide and seek went of for a long time . Herna and her staff are lovely . Big smiles on their faces and always happy to help . We have stayed in many places and this is the best place we have stayed . The photos do not do the villa any justice . We will defo be back Bob and Marley are such friendly dogs too . Book up here if you want something v comfortable and beachfront in tejakula
A nice villa for family holiday.. with beautiful garden and perfect swimming pool just face the beach of out backdoor..The staff here can solve almost all the problem and the service is really good. Activities include Snorkeling.by the fish boat of neighbor to see dolphins in early morning.. biking around and walking by the beach.. Every morning go to the local market to buy the vegetables... I must say my family enjoy this trip a lot..
Wow – what a great and big house! Yes, we were only 4 of us and knew this would be too big, but this is really a very inviting place that I can imagine to share with the full load of people. There’s plenty of space – the ground floor offers 3 cozy sofa areas (we tried and enjoyed all of them during our stay). We also had our dinner inside and outside – and took the breakfast at the small tables near the beach. All these places have their special view and attitude – just as the comfortable pool loungers. And also the surrounding area is very cool – it’s nothing like Bali’s south with soo many tourists – in fact we only met some tourists on our sightseeing trip and when we went to a resort for their scuba diving center. Tejakula is a nice village where you can by some food and basic stuff, find an ATM. With the house you are located directly at the beach – with fishers as neighbors and the next resort a little walk away – but with 2 reefs starting right at the beach 20 m left and right. So the only minor teardown for the place are the neighbor’s roosters and some dogs – making the night end quite early if you're not used to it. What should we add about the owners and the staff? That’s why we use airbnb – Keith and Herna were so lovely welcoming us – always reachable and helping (before our arrival and during all the time), caring, explaining, supporting, helping, providing insights and hints – just making everything possible. Same goes for Kadek and all the staff – they were around when needed, soo caring and making everything the way we only asked for. As we enjoyed many dinners at home, I can only say that all the Balinese meals where great – a delicious overview of typical local food! We can highly recommend this home for very relaxing vacations or as a starting point for bike / hiking trips, exploring the north of Bali on any day trip by car, enjoy snorkeling or diving or even helping the reef (via LINI / LATC)!
