Exploring Charming Wooden House with Rice Field View - Ubud left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Charming Wooden House with Rice Field View - Ubud was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kecamatan Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Charming Wooden House with Rice Field View - Ubud painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

This was a really beautiful place to stay, close to ubud and easy to get to just outside of the hustle and bustle. The bathroom was a little bit stinky and would sometimes seep in the room but other than that staff were very attentive and welcoming, the food was nice too. Overall a nice place to stay especially for the price.

目の前に広がる水田の景色が最高でした！朝食もついており、バイクレンタルもあります。 宿自体は雨がひどくて雨漏りがあったり、雨がひどいとトイレが使用できない（トイレをしていると雨に当たってしまうため）ので気をつけてください。ドライヤーはありません。 送迎タクシーをお願いしましたが空港からの送迎中に事故に遭い、結局途中でGrabを呼ぶことになりました。
Such a beautiful stay! The room was pristine and the view was amazing! The hosts were very lovely and provided a beautiful breakfast + scooter hire. The bed was super comfy and the big bath was perfect after a long day. The only thing was that the accommodation was right next to a busy road and can be quite noisy, perhaps pack some ear plugs for sleeping.
The team at Mathura villas were very warm and accommodating. There were welcome drinks upon arrival, they lent us a charger head upon request, and even prepared us a packed meal the evening before checkout as we were leaving for the airport very early the next morning. There were a few hitches during our stay that had more to do with the villa we were in, such as the aircon turning off intermittently and the power cutting completely on our last night, so we were not able to use the aircon. The team tried their best to fix this for us, but I think this needed heavier repair to resolve. The villa is also quite close to the road, so there may be some sounds throught the night. This didn't bother us, but may be good to know for light sleepers. The place is also a short Gojek ride to the town center, not walkable, which we also didn't mind as the stunning nature and rice paddy views more than made up for this. I loved reading and having coffee and the porch overlooking these views.

We absolutely loved our stay! The hosts made us feel at home, always had a smile on their faces and helped us get around wherever we needed. We really loved Made and his family. We booked this stay on our honeymoon and they surprised us with cake, candles and flowers on our second night. It was really special. I could not recommend this stay more! This is without a doubt the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! Absolutely phenomenal. Nothing beats waking up in the morning to the peaceful rice fields that surrounds the property. The house itself was amazing and added onto an amazing experience. Made and his family made us feel welcome at all times. We were greeted with a fruit juice on the terrace upon arrival. Made communicated well and gave us useful recommendations and instructions. He also helped us book transportation to our next stay and got a good price for us. Such a great stay, can’t recommend enough!!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The accommodation was amazing, with an incredible view that made our experience truly special. Everything was very comfortable, clean, and welcoming. We also loved having delicious and tasty food always available right next door. The host and his family were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They were wonderful hosts and made us feel very comfortable and at home throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place and would absolutely love to come back again!
This stay was unreal- the views from the room were insanely beautiful overlooking the Ricefields. You get breakfast each morning included and Madi the owner is so accommodating. He helped us lots and we definitely want to return. It was worth every penny!! We had a brilliant stay, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom beautifully modern. Everything you’d need and the nature is breathtaking.
We had a wonderful time at Mathura Ubud. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and had a traditional feel to it. Having rice fields right in front of our accommodation was just awesome. The family who runs the accommodation was really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our first visit to Bali was a success, partly because of them. We would definitely recommend Mathura Ubud and would come back the next time we visit Bali.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and exactly as described. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help whenever we needed anything. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce logement tout simplement parfait. Situé dans un endroit calme et reposant, il offre une vue magnifique sur les rizières. De plus, les hôtes sont d'une gentillesse incroyable. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse !
Nous avons passé deux nuits, ma sœur et moi, dans cette magnifique maison balinaise face à la rivière. Le cadre est paisible, calme et très reposant. Nous avons été agréablement surprises par la propreté du logement, ainsi que par celle de la salle de bain, qui était impeccable. Les hôtes sont extrêmement accueillants, chaleureux et toujours disponibles pour aider. Ce que nous retiendrons surtout de ce séjour, c’est la gentillesse de toute l’équipe sur place. Ils nous ont même proposé un service de transport pour nous ramener à Canggu. Lui et sa femme nous y ont conduites eux-mêmes avec leur véhicule, et tout s’est parfaitement déroulé. Un grand merci pour leur hospitalité et leur bienveillance. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésiter et y reviendrions avec plaisir.
Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits chez Putu. Les chambres face aux rizières étaient incroyables. Le petit déjeuner compris était assez léger, mais compris dans le prix donc cela faisait largement l’affaire ! Merci pour ce séjour

A melhor estadia em Ubud. O café da manhã é saboroso, o quarto confortável e limpo e os funcionários muito simpáticos e educados. A acomodação fica a 15 minutos do centro de scooter e eles possuem motos disponíveis pra alugar, o que facilita o deslocamento. O anfitrião também tem o serviço de transfer por preço justo. Esperamos voltar em breve.
What an wonderful experience! The cottage is so comfy and it blends the nature around beautifully. The host was also incredible, super accommodating. He also offers transportation services and activities. Breakfast was also delicious. Wonderful place to start is you want a peaceful and serene hideaway away from the hustle and bustle from the city.
I had a fantastic week. I loved my cabin with rice field views and a super comfortable bed and spacious bathroom with bathtub, the location of the little village in the outskirts of Ubud with little ancient family temples all along the streets, the quiet during the nights (yes, during the day you hear the street - it didn’t bother me). And I loved the kindness of Made, his family and the entire team. It felt so warm and genuine and I felt really welcomed and cared for with any request I had. They also taught me about their culture and tradition whenever I asked them out of curiosity and I loved that! And they lent me a sorong and belt to enter the temples which felt like such a lovely gesture of belonging. Thank you, I’ll be back!
A wonderful place to stay in Ubud, you will stay in a charming little house, with everything you need inside, in the middle of a rice field. The owners are the loveliest people! They run a restaurant with delicious food at the premises and they offer some day tours. Highly recommend this family business!

Top, kann ich nur empfehlen. Sehr schöne Lage direkt in der Natur und ca. 15 min mit dem Roller vom Zentrum entfernt. Ich komme gerne wieder! :)

Our stay in Putu's accommodation was simply amazing. The room was stunning, with lovely views over the rice fields, and the bathroom was so unique and beautiful. You can tell a lot of time has been taken to make this villa unique. Putu was very helpful, arranging a pickup and drop-off for us at the start and end of our stay, and always giving great recommendations. I couldn't recommend this villa enough, the place was definitely worth the Value, and if we visit again, this will be at the top of our list. Thank you!
Super schön im Reisfeld gelegen 5Minuten nach Ubud und schön ruhig Open Air Badezimmer und dennoch keine unerwünschten Tiere Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet Der Gastgeber bat stets seine Hilfe an. Wir konnten einen Roller mieten bei ihm und er fährt am Ende des Aufenthalts einen auch zum Hafe, nächsten air bnb oder sonst etwas für einen sehr fairen Preis

Hôte très accueillant et flexible concernant les horaires d’arrivée et de départ. Le logement était propre et conforme aux photos. Il y a des locations de scooters à proximité, ce qui est fortement recommandé pour se déplacer facilement dans Ubud, où la circulation peut être dense. Le logement est bien situé, proche de nombreuses activités. Le petit déjeuner servi était très bon, et le service proposé dans son ensemble était également de qualité.
Wir hatten ein einzigartiges Erlebnis bei Putu und seiner Familie. Unsere Hütte mit Blick auf die Reisfelder war wie beschrieben und wirkt in echt noch idyllischer als auf den Bildern. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und konnten direkt einen Roller mieten, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und das offene Bad hat der Hütte einen besonderen Flair verliehen. Diese Unterkunft können wir wärmstens empfehlen, wenn man etwas Abstand vom Trubel in Ubud haben möchte.

An absolutely lovely family hosting in a gorgeous space makes this a top Airbnb! The property is beautiful and well cared for. The accommodations are clean, spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. We especially loved the outdoor shower and bathroom, and views from our porch. Madé and his sweet family made us feel welcome and right at home with convenient breakfast, nice conversation, and many offers to help us with whatever we needed. We also liked the location outside of busy Ubud but close enough to do what we wanted. We would for sure stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Ubud.

Family owned business. Very friendly. The breakfasts are amazing. The view around the place is just incredible. About 10min from downtown Ubud, you just have to pick a gojek to visit downtown. It's walkable distance but I wouldn't recommand, especially at night because the roads are narrow and it can get pretty dark. Of course you can hear random roosters, cars honking, geckos, birds, etc. but for my part, slept peacefully. I would say that the place is mostly quiet, especially if you compare to the city or other places in Bali. Bed was comfortable, bathroom is clean. I would definately recommand. This was our first stop in Bali and it might be our favorite.
I just loved every moment I had here. Every moment was beautiful and it made me love my life more. Made's family were really accommodating. They took care of me like their daughter. I celebrated my bday wt them and we shared the cake I bought. It was a lovely experience and next time I come back to Bali, I'll stay for a month!!!

Beautiful villa on the outskirts of Ubud. Nice to be away from the busy streets and overlook the rice fields! Pity and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming! Breakfast was great and we could hire scooters from them. Would definitely book this place again if I come back to Ubud!
Where do I start - Putu was the most friendly and caring host I have ever experienced in my years of travelling. Gave us a scooter on arrival, he helped us find a doctor when my partner had Bali Belly, he was unbelievably supportive. As for the place itself, so clean, very homely and has spectacular views of the rice fields. The shower and bath was so lovely - a huge bath to enjoy in the evening with an amazing outdoor shower, the decor of the place was great. His family are so kind too, his wife and children working at the home stay - super friendly. The children and wife cook amazing food too, I had a delicious lunch which was very affordably priced too. Couldn’t recommend it more! Thanks Putu & the family! UK couple - mid 20’s.
This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the kindest couple who went above and beyond to help me with my luggage and make me feel at home. The space itself was spotless — not just clean, but immaculate — both inside and out. The decor was lovely, the atmosphere peaceful, and the views? Absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by stunning nature and overlooking rice fields where I witnessed the most beautiful sunset. And I can’t forget to mention the pancakes… easily the best I’ve had in my entire life. Every detail of my stay felt intentional and full of care. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, cleanliness, nature, and genuinely warm hospitality — this is it. I can’t wait to come back!

The accommodation itself was beautiful and placed in a beautiful surrounding where you can enjoy the nature and completely relax. If you want to go out there’s a lot of things to do within 15 minutes driving distance.

I had the most incredible stay at this beautiful villa in Ubud! From the moment I arrived, the hosts made me feel so welcomed and cared for. The villa is stunning—peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared with so much love. What truly made this experience special was the kindness of the host family. They went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, always greeting me with warm smiles. Being invited to their prayer day was a beautiful experience I’ll cherish forever. And Astiti’s warm, joyful laughter made every moment even more special. Beautiful location & house. Putu’s family were warm & friendly - very accomodating, insane level of hospitality. Loved the food & coffee for breakfast - actually the best coffee we’d had in Bali until we went to an actual coffee plantation. I highly recommend, do this stay over Seminyak or other highly populated areas and travel in when needed, would definitely come back.

I recently stayed at Mathura Ubud Hotel in Bali, and it was a fantastic experience! The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery with rice terrace and peaceful vibes that truly capture the essence of Ubud. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, and every corner was well-maintained, which added to the comfort of our stay. Es un alojamiento increíble. A 15 minutos del centro de Ubud ofrece una experiencia relajada (aunque pasa la carretera cerca y se oyen las motos), y unas vistas preciosas. Vale mucho la pena alojarse aquí. El anfitrión un 10/10: atento, amable, servicial, nos ayudó en todo momento incluso tuvimos un problema con el efectivo y él hizo todo lo posible para solucionarlo. Se nota que es su pequeño negocio familiar y lo dan todo para que tengas una buena experiencia.
We had a fantastic time at Mathura Villas. It’s a family business and the hosts were very friendly and kind. We had a really nice stay and didn’t want to leave at the end. It gets a bit hot in the suite in the afternoon despite the AC, but we were out on most days in the afternoon so it wasn’t a problem after the first day. Great stay, would definitely go again if we got the chance!
Wat een toffe accommodatie! Wij raden het zeker aan. We hadden prachtig uitzicht over de rijstvelden en de huisjes waren erg netjes. Niks op aan te merken. Meerdere keuzes voor ontbijt. In het huisje hoor je wel heel goed de weg. Dit kan vervelend zijn maar zo hebben wij dit niet ervaren aangezien het bed erg lekker sliep.
We had an amazing time! The view from the room is so beautiful and peaceful, exactly what we needed to escape the busy center of Ubud. The room itself is exactly like the picture and we loved the outside shower (we were scared of potential animals but we barely saw any and could shower in peace!). Putu and his family were so friendly and the food was great! We thought we would eat in the center all nights but we ended up eating there almost every night. We got a taxi arranged to pick us up from the airport which was so relieving as it can be overwhelming and even though we arrived late, Putu waited for us and welcome us into the room. Overall we had a great stay and I highly recommend the place!
The place was so cute and a view of the rice fields. It was very calming and the staff and owner were absolutely nice and helpful. Small topic is that it was a bit loud because it was at a road but it was manageable. Still recommend to everyone to stay in this beautiful stay

Such a special place right outside of busy Ubud. The little wooden house is completely beautiful and waking up to the view onto the rice paddies was majestic. Loved watching the farmers working in the mornings over breakfast. Such a hidden gem, can’t wait to come back. Plus the most comfortable bed!

We stayed here for two nights when visiting Ubud. The small wooden houses are super nice, the outdoor bathroom really amazing (+ super clean) and the location in the middle of rice fields very peaceful. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! Breakfast was included and we had the choice of eggs any style and pancakes + fresh fruit. It was very delicious! Since the location is a bit outside Ubud, I would definitely recommend renting a scooter.

Personal super amable, la ubicacion y vistas espectaculares y el bungalow tambien. Muy buena relacion precio-calidad, muy recomendable. La unica contra es que esta cerca de la carretera y se escuchan mas motos por la noche, pero no impidió que pudieramos dormir bien.

Perfect place for an Ubud visit, as you stay in a calm and quiet area far from the crowded and noisy center, but it takes just 12 minutes to get there with Grab (usually ~46.000 rupiahs). The road is nearby, so you listen to cars sometimes, but the traffic is not too frequent there. Very tasty kitchen, we enjoyed breakfast and also nice options on the menu, e.g. for dinner. The bungalow was comfortable, spacious and very nice. A drinking water barrel in the room. View on the rice fields is beautiful. Definitely recommend!
Wir sind einfach nur begeistert! Die Familie ist so herzlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Villas sind wunderschön und traumhaft direkt am Reisfeld gelegen. Von der Veranda aus kann man direkt den Sonnenuntergang über dem Reisfeld sehen. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das halb offene Badezimmer ist ein echtes Highlight. Das kleine Café, welches dazu gehört, ist auch total süß und das Essen dort mit viel Liebe selbstgemacht und äußerst lecker! Eine absolute Empfehlung.
Mathura Villa is family owned and let me tell you this family is all about making you feel safe and at home. I had a solo stay here for about 5 days and the family did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable and at home. The price to stay is beyond reasonable. Breakfast every morning was delicious and nutritious and included in the accommodations. The property is peaceful and relaxing. I enjoyed the nature and the ducks and all the different nature sounds that came with this place helped me sleep like a baby every night. Perfect spot if you don’t want to be directly in the busy city that is Ubud. Right on to outskirts so you’re just a 5-10 min drive to central. And yeah I can’t explain how great and warm the hospitality was. 10/10 stay. They even gave me a free ride with my luggage to my next accommodation. In short I was well taken care of. If you book at Mathura you will not be disappointed. I can’t wait to come back and hang out with the family and space again. TY 🙏🏾🫶🏾

I cannot express enough how lovely our stay was with Putu! Location although not walkable to town due to risky roads, is worth the travel because we need a little challenge to access the best homestay! Its run by a family and the whole experience feelse like home, helping us with luggge, big smiles, welcome refreshments with watermelon juice (so needed for a hot day!)🩷 They have their own little menu for lunch and dinner, breakfast came complementary although we didnt realise it 🤣 but so so glad we managed to try their breakfast menu which was authentic local indonesian food with fruits and juice (amazing recipe 🤤) Our new villa directly faces the rice fields, with an open concept of windows 🩷 Its best for admiring sunsets, and their outdoor bathroom and tub had incredible interior and experience for us 😍 We got laundry done for 55k per 1kg, super affordable and helped with ironing and packing neatly🩷 Super affordable and easily the best homestay for us ! highly recommended 😍
Best place to stay in Ubud, even better than the pictures, 10 times quieter than the crowded city center but also close to all the touristic spots! Best staff, all so cute! And they also have a cheap and yummi restaurant at the reception!! Simply loved the experience :)
Amazing place to stay!
loved the villa overlooking the paddy fields and the open air toilet. nice big bed and cozy rooms. very close to the street so at nights can hear cars and motorcycle driving past.
I chose this place because of beautiful photos and great reviews, I was not disappointed, and it exceeded my expectations. The place is gorgeous, clean and quiet, coming from Bangkok that’s totally what I needed to recharge. Putu and Astridi are so kind they make you feel at home right away, you can asked them anything and they will try to accommodate you. i really enjoyed my time staying here and I will definitely be back.
We had a fantastic stay here, the villa is so luxurious. The bedsheets were smooth and comfortable, the bathroom spotless with fantastic water pressure. The owner and his wife were so caring and accommodating. I fell sick on our first night and they made sure to check on me routinely as well as offer teas, medicinal oils and massages. Once better they helped us source a bike and gave recommendations of where to visit. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and will be back again!
Logement très plaisant. Quelques soucis dans le logement à mon arrivée avec une petite Infiltration d’eau mais directement géré en changeant de chambre. Adossé à une route très passagère. Super accueil, rien à redire, avec ces petits détails, je retournerai avec grand plaisir dans ce logement le jour où je reviendra dans le secteur d’Ubud (5-10minutes en scooter) Merci pour ce bel accueil !
Der Familienbetrieb ist sehr schön und man fühlt sich total wohl. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und der Inhaber hat uns zahlreiche Unternehmungstipps gegeben. Sehr begeistert waren wir auch von dem unkomplizierten Check in und Check out. Wir können jedem die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden auch selbst sofort wiederkommen!
