Exploring Cozy modern Ubud Villa with Pool and tropical garden in Lovely Balinese Compound left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Cozy modern Ubud Villa with Pool and tropical garden in Lovely Balinese Compound was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Cozy modern Ubud Villa with Pool and tropical garden in Lovely Balinese Compound painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
实事求是的说，我们应该不会再选择。先说优点，干净、装修还不错，空间较大，上下两层的loft，私密性还行。但是缺点也比较明显，泳池较小，几乎没法真正的去游泳；不提供免费早餐，是服务员在一楼厨房早上现做的，早餐分量太小，咖啡和茶倒是给的很足，早餐价格较高，两人折合人民币都快130元了却根本吃不饱；周边环境方面，因为是在村子里，有很多狗，因为我们有点怕狗，每次出入都有些紧张，周边也没有什么吃喝的地方，离乌布市中心有一定距离，步行无法到达；服务方面，对于我们来说几乎没有，管家那几天好像参加祭祀去了，所以我们最后离店时才见到，只有一两个服务生每天早上打扫公共区域卫生，但是房间是不会打扫整理的。
Vi bodde 3 netter hos kadek og vanny og skulle gjerne vært lenger! Nydelig villa, akkurat som beskrevet og kanskje litt bedre:) Kadek kommuniserte veldig bra og hadde mange gode tips. Mange gode restauranter rett i nærheten og mulig å rusle rundt i nabolaget, som ikke alltid er så lett i utbuds trange gater. Vi reiste med to barn på 9 mnd og 2 år og bassenget var supert for de. Måtte passe på litt, men gikk veldig fint. Anbefales på det sterkeste.
Always a great pleasure to be able to stay in this villa. Super responsive hosts and very flexible And supporting to enjoy your stay with them. Beautiful amazing villa. Nicest area. With everything you’d need and more for short or long stay. Definitely a favourite place to stay when in Ubud and highly Recommend enjoy to stay there also
The villa is beautiful and really cozy, it is fully open the first floor and also the shower, but we had no problem with that. Kadek is an amazing host and was always available for everything we ask. The location is perfect, far from the caos of ubud center, but really close walking. Also there are lots of nice restaurants around. We would definitely come back!
Amazing place to stay and lucky to have stayed here before . A beautiful villa in ideal location in quiet area of Ubud . Super friendly Hosts and family and staff. Always enjoy being able to stay here in their villa and likely , hopefully get to stay many more times . Super highly recommended
We had a great stay with our 2 year old at kadek's place. He had great communication and was very welcoming. The place is really lovely, we just had to watch the stairs and the pool with the toddler of course. the neighbourhood is a nice little oasis away from the hustle and bustle, and about a 20min walk to the centre. We will definitely return one day :)
A really beautiful villa in an ideal area of Ubud. Has everything you’d need for short or long term stay. Hosts were super kind and friendly . Very open and responsive and helpful. I’d highly recommend staying here as solo or couple .

Tout était absolument parfait ! Nous remercions Kadek pour sa gentillesse et ses nombreux conseils pour rendre notre séjour agréable ! De nombreux restaurants à proximité et possibilité de faire venir une masseuse à domicile, le top ! Kadek and his family were wonderful hosts. Their place is beautiful, well kept and very new, with beautiful furnitures and external areas. Mosquitos were no issue at all at this place, as Kadek has a number of measures in place that prevent mosquitos from becoming an issue on the bedroom and the living area. Highly recommended and would stay here again when in Ubud. Thank you !!!
The villa was perfect for our needs. The location is great, with a variety of Indonesian and International restaurants in close proximity. There is a short walk through Monkey Forest to Ubud. There was a great reference book in the villa which provided great information on restaurants and tourist destinations. The garden was beautiful and private, and the pool was amazing. Kadek made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and was responsive to any requests. He was very helpful in answering all our questions, including about Balinese culture. We highly recommend this villa as well as Kadek and Vanny as hosts!
This is a perfect 5/5 stay for anyone looking to travel to Ubud. The villa is tucked away from the main strip and provides a peaceful environment to relax while not out exploring. There are tons of walkable restaurant and cafes and everything else in Ubud is just a short ride away if needed. Kadek is a phenomenal host, providing tons of recommendations and everything needed to feel right at home. Would recommend this stay to everyone and looking forward to returning back !
It is a beautiful villa with an open living area and the pool is in a beautiful garden. We only had to share this with the other villa. It is very nice and cozy decorated. It is in a quiet area, but enough restaurants & cafe’s within walking distance and Monkey Forest is also within walking distance. The best coffee is a 5 minute walk away at Old Friends Coffee. A cozy place with nice people. There was a wedding in the owners family home and we were made so welcome and they also made us something to eat. We didn't see Vanny much, she was at work and busy with the wedding, but Kadek did and he was very friendly and he responded almost immediately. Our family, who were staying in a nearby hotel, had to evacuate because there was a fire in their hotel and were allowed to stay with us in the villa Leonora that night. So friendly! Finally, you have to book a massage in your own villa from Ibu Wayan. She is the best! We surely recommend kadek & Vanny
Even nicer than the photos! Beautiful pool, very thoughtful design - modern but using traditional concepts. Had the best massage in the villa too, arranged by Kadek, who was so helpful. Really exceeded expectations. It in in the quieter part of Ubud, down by the football pitch with great local restaurants and coffee and a neighbourhood feel.
Villa très confortable avec piscine dans une rue calme près de la Monkey Forrest d'Ubud. La villa est jumelée et le jardin et la piscine sont partagés avec l'autre villa également occupée par d'autres voyageurs. Mais cela n'a jamais posé de souci. On avait peur que l'emplacement soit un peu éloigné du centre d'Ubud mais finalement cela se faisait assez facilement à pied : 15 minutes pour aller jusqu'à l'entrée de la Monkey Forrest puis 15 minutes de plus pour rejoindre les différents Markets et le temple d'Ubud. Plein de bons restaurants accessibles à pied pour les repas et le petit-déjeuner. Kadek est charmant. Il nous a très bien accueilli et nous a beaucoup aidé pour l'organisation de notre journée d'excursion et donné plein de bon conseils pour visiter Ubud et sa rizière magnifique.

Couldn’t think of a better place to stay in Ubud! Gorgeous villa and pool, spotless and comfortable, with every amenity you could possibly need (if you are planning on cooking etc), as well as thoughtful touches. Kadek is also an incredible host, going above & beyond to make you feel at home. The space is also very private, peaceful, and feels safe. All in all a great stay!
Thanks for the nice stay. Kadek & Vanny were amazing hosts. The house was so clean and the location is really nice. The only thing was that you can hear everything from the second villa but no problem with earplugs.
Kadek and Vanny were great hosts! Kadek welcomed us with freshly made watermelon juice and gave us an amazing explanation and recommendations in the area. The villa looked stunning and was perfectly clean. I was especially amazed by the living room and the open shower. We felt very relaxed there :) Kadek was also very helpful and always reachable. In the neighbourhood we tried 2 recommended restaurants (Bali Bohemia and Mother ) and we were definitely not disappointed. I’d like to thank Kadek for making our stay so special and I’d definitely recommend his villa further. 🙏🏻
Vielen Dank Kadek für deine Gastfreundschaft und die vielen Tipps! Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Villa ist schön und modern eingerichtet und der Pool ist sauber und lädt zum Verweilen ein. In der Umgebung gibt es einige gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Es ist etwas abseits vom Trubel, man braucht ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß in die Innenstadt. Wir haben nach Ruhe und Entspannung gesucht und sie in der Villa gefunden. Es war eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, die wir auf Bali hatten. Sehr zu empfehlen!
Kadek was lovely and helpful with everything even before we checked in. Introduced us to the culture and made recommendations for everything. The watermelon drink was ready and the cold beer was waiting for us inside the fridge. Pool and garden was perfect! Location spot on - we felt safe and had restaurants, warungs, coffee places and everything else within walking distance. We'd really come back! If I had to advise people for one thing is - get ready for 5AM rooster calls if you're a light sleeper - it's a common thing around here. The host was kind enough to warn us in advance and provide ear plugs.
房東Kadek 非常的友善，有任何需要幫助的，回覆非常及時！房源很棒，有一個很舒適的泳池，一早就能跳進游池玩，還有魚池，我的小孩非常喜歡！ 附近也有很多好吃的餐廳跟咖啡廳，也可以做gojet 到烏布市區都非常方便。 Kadek 也有建議的到府按摩，真的非常棒！這是我在峇厘島旅遊18天最喜歡的按摩，時間完全可以配合你的時間，我們帶著小孩，需要配合小孩的作息，我跟老公幾乎每天都趁小孩在睡覺進行按摩，真的很放鬆！
Kadek was a great host and he is helpful in all aspects of our stay. He scheduled a private massage with a very gentle lady for my wife and a driver who picked us up at the airport. And we ended up booking the same driver for 3 more days. Had a wonderful time in Bali with these private and trustworthy arrangement. Never thought of it before but this is the perfect way to sightsee and enjoy Bali. Kudos to Airbnb because a hotel/resort stay would be very different and likely 2-3 times more expensive.
Kadek est un hôte d’une extrême gentillesse. La communication. Est très fluide et il est très réactif. Il met tout en œuvre pour que votre séjour soit une vrai réussite. La villa est très belle et très propre. La proximité avec le centre d’Ubud est un vrai plus (environ 15min de marche de la forêt des singes)
Kadel est adorable et serviable (prise de contact avant l'arrivée et proposition d'un chauffeur pour nous récupérer à l'aéroport c'était top). il est arrangeant et aime discuter. le logement est très propre et soigné. l'emplacement est idéal, centre ville a proximité et possible d'y aller à pied très facilement. Je recommande fortement ! Ce fut un réel plaisir !!

Traumhaft! Wir waren 5 Nächte in der Villa LeoNora von Kadek und müssen sagen, das es mit Abstand unsere beste Unterkunft in Bali war! Kadek ist einfach ein Perfekter Gastgeber und man hat sich ab der ersten Minute wie zuhause gefühlt. Er ist höflich, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und immer erreichen falls man etwas braucht. Bei der ersten Unterhaltung mit Ihm haben wir mehr über das Land und die Kultur erfahren als in den 5 Tagen zuvor. Die Villa ist wunderschön, sauber, ruhig und doch perfekt gelegen. Wir haben zur Begrüßung einen vollen Obstkorb bekommen und Kadek hat uns einen frischen Wassermelonen-Smoothie zubereitet. Der Kühlschrank wird jeden Tag mit Getränken gefüllt und die Preise sind nahe zu identisch zu den Preisen im Supermarkt. Es sind sehr viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe und man erreicht das Zentrum von Ubud zu Fuß in ca. 15 Minuten. Wir können jedem Reisenden diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen! Danke nochmal an Kadek für den Service!🙏😊
Kadek was a very good host who always responded whenever we had questions. We would often see him when we were going out in the morning for yoga and he always greeted us with a friendly smile and some nice wishes for our day. He also responded quickly and in full detail whenever we had questions about sites or restaurants. The villa is a spacious place with pretty well any amenities you might need for your stay. It is relaxing and scenic--perfect for when you want to get away from hectic city life (as we did). We would heartily recommend it.

Host The host was great. Very friendly and welcoming. The host met us personally at the villa and welcomed us with a tour, gave us local tips and recommendations. The host was very responsive and managed to arrange us an airport transfer directly to the villa. Villa The villa itself looks better than the photos, very clean and tidy, with various amenities. The place was very well equipped with kitchen appliances, chargers, outlet converts and everything you might need. The pool was clean and overall, it was very pleasant to stay on the sunbeds with the garden full of tropical plants. The pool is shared with, but the high plants provide very good privacy. A pleasant surprise was the small pond of Koi fishes in the house, which were great roommates. Location The villa is located at walkable distance to the Monkey Forest, has a bunch of great restaurants around it, a small shop and it was very private and quite area. I recommend this place to everyone. Thank you, Kadek!
Had a great stay here!!! The place is even better than the pictures and everything is well built and beautiful. This spacious villa is relaxing, tucked back just a little off the cute (walkable) Ubud street. It's walking distance to yummy restaurants Sage and Mother, among others. Kadek was so helpful and went above and beyond for us, providing everything we needed (and more). We had a wonderful stay here and felt extremely well taken care of.

What great hosts. Kadek took the time to help me get funds from my ATM. He also accompanied me to get a SIM card. He made sure that I felt safe at all times. Gracious, warm-hearted and very helpful. I know I will return to Bali.
AMAZING STAY!!! We stayed in 5 different air bnbs during our trip to Bali and this was by far our favorite. it was SO comfortable and spacious and the host is extremely friendly and helpful. highly recommend!!

This place set my new standard for 5 star experiences. Everything here is perfect in a setting that feels like a home and is close, but not too close to the bustling Ubud center. Being located as part of a family village adds to the cultural experience as well. Only regret is not being able to stay longer. I will certainly stay here for my next Bali trip
This is one of the very rare cases where the home looks even better in real life than the pictures. It is an absolute gem. Very special, set in a gorgeous and lush garden. It was comfortable and had everything we needed for a really enjoyable few days. Ubud has a lot to offer but I also wanted to ensure we had time to spend in the villa too, it was so relaxing and peaceful and aesthetically so pleasing. The outside shower is everything and added overall to the experience. The villa is conveniently located in Nyuh Kuning. Great restaurants and cafes, close to the Monkey Forest. It is a rural village so know that you will hear frogs and geckos and roosters! It all adds to the authentic experience. Kadek, the host is so accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. He really made sure our stay had everything we need and made himself available. We actually wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately there was no availability. We absolutely loved it here and would highly recommend.

C’est une personne d’une extrême gentillesse, attentionné et serviable. La villa quant à elle est magnifique et parfaitement équipée, il ne manque rien. Elle est très bien décorée, tout est encore mieux que sur les photos. La piscine est grande et très agréable. La villa est également super bien située avec d’excellents restaurants à proximité à pied. Nous avons passé 4 jours exceptionnels à Ubud et je recommande vivement ce logement.
Our stay at Villa LeoNara was fantastic. The villa is located in a very calm area yet super close to the centre. We had a very smooth checkin and the host was incredibly welcoming. He sat us down and showed us a booklet that covered all what we need from Day trips recommendations, nearby restaurants, and he took us a tour around the villa to explain everything. I can say it was an incredible stay because we used to finish some nights out early, so we can come at night and relax by the pool.
Very clean, quiet, comfy and close to mean things to visit, coffee and restaurants. The manager Kadek is the loveliest person, he helped us at anytime. You will fall in love with Ubud.
Fantastic. The villa is beautiful inside and out and the location is great (approximately a 15 minute walk to Ubud center). Kadek made us feel very welcome as did the driver he recommended who was also a great tour guide! Would 100% stay again.
The Villa is located in a quiet neighborhood but walkable to Ubud central. Kadek was really helpful explaining everything on check in. He was quick to respond to anything during our stay. The pool and garden were gorgeous. We also really enjoyed the outdoor shower. We used the driver for the Villa, Komang, to pick us up in Samur and to take us to Seminyak. He was great and very friendly. We would definitely stay again.
This place was really nice than images. all instruments and kitchen utensil and home deco was excellent. Also, Host was very kind. and nice. Pool water temp was good and clean. Bed room & rest rooms are comfy and cozy! I would love to visit for sure!
Kadek does everything to make you feel most welcome. Its a beautiful home, on the relexter and calmer site of Ubud but with all facilities in the neighbourhood. The villas are located on a family ground which makes the experience more realistic and less touristy. Monkey forest is very close by and by motorcycle ita just 10 min drive to the heart of ubud and nice walks!
This place is a hidden gem! You are so close to town, a walk away to delicious restaurants. This place was absolutely stunning, from the open living room layout out to the beautiful outside pool and lounge area you will not be disappointed. Kadek made us feel at home. He was so thoughtful and always available for anything we needed. We also loved our driver Kamong! We left feeling like they were family! We are most definitely coming back and staying here again!

Amazing villa! Can’t recommend it enough. The villa is super clean and stylish with a very open feel, the pool is great and also very clean. Location is perfect as its quiet but you can be in the centre of ubud in a 15 minute walk. On top of all the Kadek is one of the best hosts we have had! Whatever question we had was answered quickly and more. Will definitely be back!
사진보다 훨씬 좋았어요. 다른 숙소에도 묵었는데 발리의 여느 숙소보다 관리가 잘 되어있고 인테리어부터 청결함까지 신경 정말 많이 쓴 티가 많이 나요. 수영장 물도 매일 청소해주셔서 기분좋게 이용할 수 있었구요, 주변에 예쁜 카페나 레스토랑 많아서 이용하실 수 있구요, 번화가 가시려면 스쿠터타고 10분 정도면 갈 수 있습니다. 가방 하나가 공항에서 안와서 문제가 있었는데 그것도 Kadek이 전화로 해결해주고 굉장히 도움이 많이 되었습니다. 우붓에 힐링하러 오시는 분들은 정말 만족하실거에요!
The villa was amazing !!! Unfortunately we only stayed there three nights and really regret not staying longer. The place looks incredible ! The open concept giving access to the pool is great and allows for fresh air to ventilate the living room. Kadek and our driver were super nice and helpful. Communication by WhatsApp made everything easy and Kadek’s hospitality met all our expectations. Beautiful stay, definitely recommend !!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The location is very close to Ubud town center (walking distance,) in a fantastic neighborhood with restaurants and cafes nearby. Kadek was incredibly attentive and always friendly. The villa is super-stylish, modern, very chic and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish that we could have stayed longer. Don't hesitate to book this wonderful place!
A lovely place to stay in Ubud and a very caring and helpful host. During the night it gets a bit loud. But that can be managed with the help of earplugs.

It was so nice experience to stay in villa leo nora. I definitely miss this place. Everything in here was fantastic. The pool was so clean. Bed room was so comfortable and clean. Most of all Kadek takes care of host friendly. He gave us everything I need before request. Never regret to choose this place ! Thank you Kadek ☺️
Our stay at the Villa LeoNora was absolute perfection. After 32 hours of travel getting there from Toronto via Shanghai and Bangkok, it was exactly the tranquil oasis we needed. In addition to the space being everything the pictures portray it to be (and then some), Kadek is simply the best host you could possibly have. His help in arranging everything for us from the moment we arrived allowed us to enjoy every moment of the trip without an iota of stress. The location was perfect - it's about a 20-25 minute walk into Ubud centre (which we did easily many times as it was a nice stroll past the Monkey Forest) but you can also get there in about 5 minutes with a scooter (as long as you're an experienced rider). We're already planning our return trip to Bali and we won't bother looking for anywhere else to stay on our return. We can't wait to come back!
If you want to be in a quiet area. This is the place. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. It’s a 20-25 min walking distance from Ubud centre. We had a pleasant stay in this Villa! Thank you and see you next time.
Villa LeoNora instantly took our breath away! After traveling nearly 23 hours to begin our honeymoon, walking into this "hidden gem" was EXACTLY what we needed. The magical town of Ubud is already incredible in its own & then to meet Kadek & all his awesomeness made us feel like the entire experience was meant to be! :) Kadek walked us through our villa room by room, clearly explained all the details needed & assured us that we could contact him for anything we may need.....which we did many times & oh so appreciated! He handled preparing a motorbike for us prior to arriving so that we would have the flexibility of exploring the town :) HIGHLY recommend you accept his recommendation to rent a motorbike as it gives you more options to see more! Villa LeoNora is only a quick 10-15 min walk into the heart of Ubud & with the Monkey Forest so close by along with other little stores & restaurants, why wouldn't one want to explore via by foot as well? AMAZING. The Villa offers plentyyyyy of space to stretch, relax & veg out.....the shared pool is the perfect temperature & offers outdoor lighting for that late evening swim if you choose. Kadek ensures that the pool towels are fresh every few days & will also tidy up the place while you are away. This is such a nice amenity to come back to. The A/C is only inside your bedroom upstairs which gets plenty cold & there is a ceiling fan both upstairs and downstairs. The wood floors & decor give Villa LeoNora that touch of Ubud that you will appreciate. They replenish complimentary water bottles daily & the security from top to bottom are outstanding! Outside waterfall shower connected to the downstairs bathroom is our favorite by far, you will love it! We honestly cannot say enough about this amazing home, city & of course of our good friend Kadek. Lastly, to travel half way across the world to a foreign place we had never been to, arriving to a home like Villa LeoNora & with the care & attention of Kadek & his family made us feel like we had already been there before. 5 stars in our book! WE MISS IT ALREADY & CANNOT WAIT TO RETURN ON ANOTHER UBUD VACATION!!!! xoxo
What an awesome villa! Kadek was a great host and Nyuh Kuning is a great part of Ubud.
This is a great place to stay (I extended mytime here). Big and clean. The bedroom is well air conditioned. Local staff are very helpful. Local and Western restaurants are within walking distance. Also, its great to jump in the pool anytime you want. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is it.
Perfection with a capital P. It's a stunning new villa with everything really beautiful and every detail is thought of. The pool and garden are georgous and the inside of the house is also superior. The first night you might also be woken bij roosters early in the morning just like us, but the next night you don't even hear them anymore, accept during the day ;)
This was our second time staying at the lovely Villa Nora. We have stayed in numerous villas in the Nyuh Kuning area and this is the best villa for the price that we have found. One of the best parts about the villa is that it's situated within a family compound so it gives you the opportunity to interact with the friendly Balinese families that are your neighbors. The villa itself is immaculate and you can tell that the owners paid very close attention to the details to make you comfortable. Even in the nice villas we have stayed at in Indonesia the beds are often horrible, but this is not the case at Villa Nora. We loved going to sleep at night due to the well air conditioned room, clean comforter and the excellent mattress. We were a little apprehensive about the fact that the unit is a duplex and were wondering if it would be private enough. We found this to be a non-issue as the units are separated by a wall and shower. If you are lucky enough to have the owners present, as we were, you will find them to be delightful people who will respect your privacy and can offer you a wealth of knowledge and advice about Nyuh Kuning, Bali and Lombok. Our family decided to stay in the Nyuh Kuning area for the next year and if not for the fact that we are a family of 4, we would have tried to talk them into renting it to us for 1 year. Kadek who is the villa manager/cleaner/pool-man/gardener is amazing, attentive, detailed and the best cleaner in Bali. We would love to hire him to work at our new house if we could. The pool is large compared to most villas and they seem to use the minimum amount of chemicals. The Villa is advertised as a 1 bedroom but the second room with a small bed for one person easily makes it a 2 bedroom in our eyes, although you access it through the main bedroom. The second bedroom was perfect for our 10 year old and 2 year old baby who slept in a small crib that we brought with us. In short, you will not be disappointed if you like the pictures of the villa and the given description as it is spot-on.
