Exploring Enchanted Hobbit Treehouse Nestled in the Jungle left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Enchanted Hobbit Treehouse Nestled in the Jungle was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Tegalalang plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Enchanted Hobbit Treehouse Nestled in the Jungle painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

此行最不推荐的就是这晚树屋，仅针对树屋的体验。 1、树屋房间超级小，二层有个狭小的空间，小孩可以住，但是要爬一个很高的几乎垂直九十度的梯子，半夜起来上厕所上下很不安全。 2、超级吵，凌晨四点就开始鸡鸣狗叫，完全无法入睡。 3、位置很偏，在偏远的农村，这个价格没有性价比。去市里活动，吃饭啥的，打车都不便宜。 4、民宿的公共区域建设还是没办法跟大酒店比，房间外面的风景很差，乱糟糟一片，根本不值这个价格。下了楼梯就是泳池，泳池边的灯条还坏掉了，晚上很不安全，一不小心就会掉下去。 总结，特色树屋的体验不太好，不太推荐。

Das Personal war super freundlich und das Essen sehr lecker. Der Pool sieht super schön aus und ist etwas besonderes mit den kleinen Fischen, hier kann man sich gut wohl fühlen. Das Baumhaus an sich ist sehr interessant und außergewöhnlich gebaut, leider war es im Inneren des Baumhauses sehr feucht und das Bett muffig. Dadurch konnten wir leider nicht gut schlafen, wir haben die zweite Nacht wo anders verbracht. Es war von unseren 6 Unterkünften auf Bali unsere teuerste, aber auch die schlechteste. Derzeit kein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis mehr.

Charming Stay, But Needs More Attention to Detail We stayed in the treehouse and really enjoyed its old-world charm—it’s a cozy little space set among nature, and the team was very responsive and accommodating with everything we requested. That said, a few practical aspects could use more attention. The Hobbit house doors have sizeable gaps, which allow insects in, and we eventually moved rooms because of continuous red ants. Charging points weren’t conveniently located near the beds, and the bathroom required going through an open area and two doors, which can be inconvenient at night, especially with a child. Overall, while the experience has a lovely nature-focused character, I didn’t feel it offered enough value for the price we paid (₹19,000 / around $190). Personally, I would value it closer to $80–90. With many newer, well-maintained Balinese stays available at lower prices, I feel the property may need to revisit its pricing/invest more in comfort & upkeep to remain relevan

Wir wollten eine Nacht in einem Baumhaus verbringen, da wir dachten es wäre etwas besonderes in Bali. Leider war das Baumhaus schon in die Jahre gekommen und sehr baufällig, ich fühlte mich nicht sicher. Auch ist die Unterkunft nicht mitten im Dschungel, wie man es sich vielleicht anhand der Fotos vorstellen würde. Insgesamt kein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Personal und Frühstück jedoch top!

The staff here are so beautiful and hosts were very accomodating when we requested a swap from the treehouse to the bamboo pod. We were so grateful for this and for the staff who spent extra time preparing the pod at short notice 🙏🏼 In early communication Evi suggested the pod may be more spacious for my family but had also shared that 3 adults have fitted in the treehouse so we tried but for myself, adult son and 13 year old daughter it was (very beautiful) but very small. We spent 2 nights in the bamboo pod with waterfall (furtherest away from hobbithouse) and architecturally this is a very beautiful space 💞 The swinging chair was loved the downstairs daybed and the bedroom view lovely .I loved the plants that grew in the stones of the bathroom and the water songs from waterfall were wonderful. *If you are sensitive to non natural sound the traffic is very loud late into the night as the road is extremely close. *if sensitive to felled plants check before booking when this occurs

The Sebatu Sanctuary is a beautiful place. Our experience was very unique. It's in the wilderness. Would be nice to have open views from the treehouse. The sanctuary staff was very helpful & responsive.

Tout est top, excepté cette route qui entoure l'hôtel et qui permet de suivre au bruit les scooters et motos depuis la chambre. Le coin piscine est mieux protégé du bruit, parfait !

The treehouse is exactly as pictured and is worthy of being one of the coolest treehouses I have stayed in (something of a hobby of mine). Here are the things we liked and didn’t like- The treehouse is superbly crafted with attention to details that feel like you are in a true work of art. It is immaculate and we had no insects. The fish filled swimming pool was beautiful and peaceful. The restaurant on site is wonderful and the staff is amazing. The treehouse is located near the road and the road noise is very audible during the day (it does quiet down at night). The water pressure in the shower is low (but what do you expect when showering in a tree). The main drawback was the location itself. There is literally nothing to do without taking a grab. The town of Tegallalang is a 15 minute grab ride and once there it is heavily touristy with lots of “social media-like” activities but little else. Summary, All-in-all it was a nice stay and I recommend it for a night or two.

Hobbit Tree House is a hidden gem amid nature's embrace, boasting a whimsical tree centric design with a tree next to your bed and an impressive collection of books to indulge in. The exotic half-open-sky shower, surrounded by swaying bamboo appears out of the world. The tree house was also accessible via a charming hanging bridge, which adds a touch of adventure. The lush surroundings enveloped us in a tranquil haven, teeming with the symphony of cicadas. The melodic buzz of these creatures evoked a profound connection with nature. The only thing what we didn’t liked was the abrupt notice of the pool's closure a week before our arrival quoting maintenance. Despite the host's efforts to compensate through dining credits this dampened the overall experience given one would like to use the unique pool here due to the way it is advertised in the listing. We are not sure it was closed due to operational costs or real maintenance issues as we didn’t saw any maintenance happening.

the place makes you feel realy into the jungle maybe too much if you are planning a romantic moment. Perfect for an adventure with lot of nature around you. the space is very small

The place is beautiful but the staff is what brings it all together and makes the experience worth the visit. Pool is currently being renovated so no pool atm but if it was there when i visited im sure it would have been marvelous. Food at restaurant is delish and once again staff is so attentive and loving

From the moment you walk in to the reception/restaurant area, you feel like you are in a movie, or a dream! The resort is beautiful, with each room/house very private and many walkways and tropical plants everywhere. The restaurant is delicious, and because it is very hard to go anywhere else in the area you will eat there all the time! The staff are delightful and always on hand, the pool area is great, and even just relaxing in the restaurant with some classic games was a nice touch. We absolutely loved our stay. However, this is the forest - there are bugs! We read other reviews and thought we were ready for it, but as the bathrooms are 'outside', you have to be very careful of giant ants and leeches. Gorgeous as the resort was, there is something very unrelaxing about constantly watching where you step, pulling leeches out your feet after the shower, and being bitten half to death at night (even with mosquito nets). Be warned!

The treehouse is very nice and sourrounded by nice landscapes. They were a few bugs and cockroaches inside but I guess it’s unavoidable. Unfortunately the pool couldn’t be used because of algues and the risk of infection… only early in the morning you can use it. This information should be given on the beforehand.

The staff was wonderful. They made the stay so much more pleasant. This is a very unique stay. Highly recommended to try once in your lifetime. Detailed comments: Cleanliness: the bedsheets smelled like sweat. The bathroom towel smelled like dirty laundry. The room itself was clean. 4/5 Check in was pleasant. Got welcome drink. The manager was nice to talk to. 5/5 Communication is spotty. Hard to communicate via Airbnb app. -1 star 4/5 Location is too far away from anything fun other than the resort itself but it’s good for relaxing. Great if you don’t plan to leave the tree house during the stay. 4/5 Value is a bit pricy given that breakfast is also charged. Too far away from anywhere so you almost have to get their breakfast. This brings the price to around $300. Kinda pricy imo. 3/5

I stayed at Tree House for two nights with my 8 years old son. Three House is exactly how it is being described and show on the pictures. My highlights were the friendliness of the staff and delicious food we had during our stay. We also enjoyed ‘offering making’ and purification experience very much!

Beautiful place. Everything was amazing except that there was another room close to mine where we could completely see into each other’s room. The guests next door were flying a drone and I did not feel the privacy I was hoping for. Besides the lack of privacy, everything was wonderful.

The best place we have ever stayed in the world! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The whole place is incredibly calm, peaceful and magical, with a breathtaking location that made our stay truly unforgettable. The food was outstanding, and every member of staff was so warm, kind and attentive. Wayrun in particular looked after us in a way we simply cannot thank him enough for. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, showed us so many amazing things and shared his knowledge with us. We will never forget his kindness. The team arranged a movie night for our daughter, which was one of the kindest and most magical experiences of our whole trip. Seeing how much thought and care they put into making her feel special meant so much to us. We have completely fallen in love with this place. It is so much more than somewhere to stay — it is an experience, and one we will treasure forever. We cannot recommend it highly enough and are already dreaming of coming back ❤️

Always a pleasure staying here. I stayed here last year and enjoyed the experience, the novelty of the tree house is fun and the staff are great. I found it to be so unique in fact that I proposed to my wife there.

This place is beyond magical. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hobbit Treehouse and wish I had have stayed longer. Everything was beautiful and the staff were wonderful and very helpful. Food at the restaurant was lovely and having breakfast at the top of the treehouse is a must. I couldn’t recommend this stay more highly enough. If you are looking for something unique, peaceful, dreamy or even just some down time this is absolutely the place to be. There are loads of activities around which are also easy to get to. Can’t wait to come back to this wonderful place.

Es war wunderschön! Wir haben im Baumhaus übernachtet und ein Kindheitstraum ging in Erfüllung. Mitten in der Natur und ein Pool mit Fischen... Total erholsam und schön! Alle waren wahnsinnig freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wanderung zum Wasserfall und zur Höhle können wir auch empfehlen! Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit! Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir hatten eine super schöne und außergewöhnliche Zeit im Tree-House. Der Empfang und die Betreuung von June an der Rezeption und Wayan vor Ort war sehr herzlich. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und bestens aufgenommen. Wayan hat uns später sogar noch privat in die nächste Unterkunft gebracht und wir hatten einen total netten und freundlichen Austausch mit ihm. Neben dem tollen Naturpool mit Blick in den Urwald und den einzigartigen, individuellen Unterkünften haben wir auf der Terrasse auch sehr gut gegessen. An den gelegentlichen abendlichen Besuch von kleinen Fröschen im offenen Duschbereich kann man sich sogar gewöhnen😊- in den Häusern gibt es aber überhaupt kein Getiers und in den gemütlichen Himmelbetten kann man mit dem Klang des Dschungels wunderbar schlafen. Rundum eine tolle Zeit - jederzeit wieder!

Wow what an amazing stay! I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The staff are so kind and go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. I cannot wait to come back again. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for our beautiful stay.

適合喜歡野生自然環境的旅客，會有一些不影響安全的小蟲，畢竟住宿本身跟自然環境很親近，不要有錯誤期待而要求住宿一塵不染，就會是個很特別的住宿體驗。 樹屋本身是搭建在一顆榴槤樹上，不時會在陽台看到可愛的小榴槤落果跟榴槤花。 缺點是景觀有些遮蔽，旁邊倒下的竹子會讓人覺得雜亂。

这次在巴厘岛的第一家住宿：位于Sebatu Sanctuary的霍比特树屋。进入房间前要先走过一座吊桥，再推开圆形木门，仪式感直接拉满。房间里还有儿童阁楼，以及很多关于树屋的书。女儿从进门开始就觉得特别新奇，终于满足了她念叨了很久的树屋梦想。 房间最特别的是半露天淋浴区，洗澡时抬头没有天花板，看到的就是一整片森林。氛围确实很好，有种直接在丛林里洗澡的感觉。 我们住的这几天一直是阴天，没有阳光滤镜，但潮湿、安静的森林反而更有《霍比特人》的感觉，拍照依然很出片。 早餐必须拎出来单独表扬，是真的好吃。不是只有摆盘适合拍照，味道和出品也很在线，强烈推荐鸡肉粥。算是整个入住体验里最没有争议的优点。 泳池也很特别，里面有很多鱼，还有一个人工瀑布，更像是一个大鱼塘。老板说这是天然生态泳池，所以水偏绿、有藻类属于正常现象。不过青苔和藻确实不少，非常滑，和传统高级酒店那种清澈见底的泳池完全不是一回事，下水前需要做一点心理建设。 毕竟在热带森林里，虫子不是意外，而是生态的一部分。怕虫、洁癖，或者对卫生要求高的人，不建议下单。 因为旁边就是村庄，晚上摩托车噪声不小，每天凌晨三点半附近的公鸡还会准时开嗓，也不知道为什么上班这么早啊！睡眠浅的人最好提前做好准备。

I had a wonderful stay at this treehouse! Unfortunately, my neighbors were quite loud on my first night, but that was completely outside of the hosts’ control and certainly didn’t take away from how kind and accommodating they were. I happened to be celebrating my birthday during my stay, and they truly went above and beyond to make it special. They surprised me with fresh flowers, a beautifully decorated bed, a candle in my cheesecake, and a sweet birthday message. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture that made me feel incredibly welcomed. The restaurant on-site was fantastic, with delicious food and wonderful service. The hosts also made my trip effortless by coordinating my private drivers and arranging an in-house massages, which allowed me to simply relax & enjoy my stay. They even graciously allowed me a late checkout, which I really appreciated and made my departure much less stressful. The treehouse itself is beautiful, peaceful, and such a unique place to stay!

Our stay in the Hobbit treehouse was an incredibly wonderful experience. The view and the décor are truly unique. The service was very attentive and friendly; the staff are helpful in every way and offer some cool activities, such as yoga or a guided tour to the waterfalls. The whole service was extraordinary. The breakfast was excellent, too. We will definitely come back!

Absolutely loved our stay at the treehouse. We were welcomed by name on arrival and treated with the best of Balinese hospitality. The location was incredibly beautiful and I felt immediately at peace. The staff were very responsive, accommodating and always looking to be helpful. They were very considerate of our needs and often went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable given I was pregnant. Yuni at reception, and Q the driver, were particularly friendly, helpful and made our trip memorable. The restaurant, Evicurious, was also great. They catered well for vegetarians and the food was fresh made with local produce. I really hope that I can make it back to stay here again. The treehouse was amazing, with lots of options and three levels to sit amongst the trees and enjoy nature.

It was my first trip to Bali, and I never imagined I would get the chance to stay in a treehouse! It felt like stepping into a storybook. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. In the morning, we walked to a nearby waterfall. Since it was early, there was no one else there, and we were able to enjoy a very peaceful and almost mystical moment. The breakfast we had afterward was also delicious! My favorite was the sugar-free orange juice 🍊

Truly a one-of-a-kind stay. From the incredible treehouse itself to swimming with fish in the pool, the experience is one we will never forget. Even with the amazing location, the highlight of our stay was the staff. We made use of a number of the services offered (picnic drive, massages) and every single person we came into contact with went above and beyond. The restaurant also provided some of the best food we had in Bali so we chose to eat every meal here during our 3 night stay to give us an opportunity to sample the menu. Thank you for an unforgettable time!

10/10 recommend this place. Every staff member was welcoming, helpful, and very hospitable. We have stayed in a lot of amazing places in Bali, but this was hands down the best. The natural infinity pool, delicious food, massages, welcoming staff and incredible scenery make this place special! We stayed in the tree house which was just so unique and cool.

Enchanted Hobbit Treehouse exactly as described and it’s a nice walk to the waterfall (not many people there which was nice) and restaurants. We played free pool at the Japanese Restaurant and had some great cocktails and snacks there.

We had a great time at this lovely tree house! We liked the semi-outdoor shower, it felt private and at the same time we felt immersed in nature. We saw one frog sitting in the puddle left after the shower but he was harmless and didn't move. I like that there were books about trees in the room and I found myself actually reading through one of them and learning about the Japanese art of "forest bathing" or improving well-being through nature which was lovely to learn about. The dinner was very good, I recommend their homemade fries. The only downside is that it did not have that "in the middle of the forest" feel because there was a road right below where you could sometimes hear cars and scooters. And the area nearby had lots of fallen trees so one side it was mostly empty space rather than surrounded by trees. Overall though we had a great time here.

Sebatu Sanctuary was much more than a traditional stay: from the warm pickup from Wayan Ku (who was also our Yogi, and later romantic picnic coordinator—he was the absolute best!) to the delicious meals we ate in house, swimming with fish in their infiniti pool, getting to ride to our waterfall picnic in a retrofitted VW van, and having a chat with the owner over breakfast, this felt more like experience; perfect for our honeymoon stay. Other quick notables: the shower water gets really hot (a huge plus for my wife) & there’s a modern gym called “Sake” about a 4 minute walk from the resort. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

An Unforgettable Stay at Sebatu Eco Resort! We had the pleasure of staying in the treehouse at Sebatu Eco Resort, and it was hands down the best accommodation we've had in Bali. The treehouse was unique and cozy, providing the perfect escape into nature. The highlight of our stay, however, was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, ensuring everything was perfect for us and our kids. From the moment we arrived, they were so warm and welcoming, offering fantastic recommendations and helping us with anything we needed. Truly, their kindness and attention to detail made this a standout experience. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali!

I loved this private eco-friendly tree house with a place to lounge with couches on the top of the tree house and a couch swing on the bottom. a private backyard with a all wooden bridge to a private entrance. the infinity natural pool was embracing the nature. Recommend this fantastic get away to anyone

树屋非常特别，不同的区域有不同的趣味，给予人丰富、多层次的体验。我必须得说，在此入住不仅可以收获独特的入住环境，还能享受到工作人员们提供的贴心周到细致的服务，这让我和我的同伴对巴厘岛念念不舍。我强烈推荐喜欢自然的朋友们选择这里。

What a lovely hotel, really did feel like a Hobbit Treehouse! The breakfast was so delicious and they accomodated for my dietary requirements so well. Such lovely hospitality! We also rented our scooter from them and it was very convenient. Cute place.

The treehouse was definitely an amazing experience! We swam with fishes in pool and woke up every morning to a beautiful view. The chocolate lava cake was my favorite food item there; I ordered it 3 different times and I would do it again. The staff are amazing! The owner was very friendly and made us feel right at home. We loved everything about this home and would definitely stay there again.

Very cool unique spot in a treehouse. Was fun when the wind blew the tree around one time. Staff was really pleasant and they had some good food for breakfast too. Definitely recommend it.

入住霍比特人树屋是非常有趣、神奇的体验。管家和服务人员都非常nice ，会带领我们到树屋。入住时正值巴厘岛雨季，在树屋里听雨声落入雨林非常治愈，收获纯天然白噪音。值得一提的是树屋的淋浴是露天的，另外树屋内有两个床，一个为大床自带蚊帐，另一个比较小在树屋的“阁楼”。另外民宿配备的餐食也很好吃，可以送至房间或至大堂享用。

Sehr schöne und außergewöhnliche Lage! Der Naturwassepool mit den Fischen und dem kleinen angelegten Wasserfall ist sehr sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr freundliches Personal und eine professionelle Massagetherapeutin. Leckeres Essen. Wunderbar zum Abschalten und integrieren. Manchmal sind vom Baumhaus Motorräder am Nachmittag zu hören. Insgesamt meeega :-)) 🙏🏻💚🧚‍♂️💦✨

We came in around 2 AM and was offered a free ride of 1.5 hours from airport and helped with everything . This place is a hidden gem. Their food and service is amazing and so affordable. They have a NATURALLY filtered pool with little fish. The treehouse was great to stay in. Thanks Sebatu!

Het verbijf was ondanks de vele regen erg fijn, en de ruimtes waren fantastisch. De boomhut is erg mooi ingericht en gebouwd. De hosts zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en het eten is erg goed. Er is een mooi zwembad en in de omgeving is van alles te ontdekken, al moet je wel vervoer hebben. We zijn hier met een kind van bijna 2 geweest en dat ging helemaal goed. Hier zou ik absoluut naartoe gaan als je de drukte en hectiek van Ubud wilt vermijden, en een unieke ervaring midden in de jungle zoekt.

We had a great time. We stayed in the tree house and it was beautiful. Very peaceful. The ladies at check-in were really helpful. They helped us get a ride into Ubud, and also made us breakfast to go 45 mins before the resteraunt even opened sense we had an early departure for scuba diving in Candidasa.

Lieu insolite. En tout point ressemblant avec les photos et la description. on n'a passé qu'une nuit mais vraiment dépaysant et atypique. je recommande.

卫生：房间里几乎没有虫子，非常干净，蚊帐很有安全感。 服务：管家超级热情好客，帮忙拎行李箱到房间，送我驱蚊水，无微不至的关照。在这里感受到非常棒的服务。前台的姐姐也非常热心，协助我们订车订摩托。 SPA：做了足部护理（300k）+面部护理（300k），一共两个小时，技术非常专业，美美的睡了一觉。 餐厅：满分推荐这个度假村的饭真的非常美味！尤其是这个home frence fries，菜单上写着（你一定要尝尝），果然是我人生中吃到最好吃的薯条！早餐是免费提供的，也是非常美味。入住时免费提供的橘子果汁太好喝了！ 交通：酒店提供与grab一样价格的接送车服务，非常方便。司机也很热心。酒店提供租摩托车非常方便，我们租了摩托骑着它去周围的瀑布玩耍，路上的风景和驾驶体验是非常美好难忘的。喜欢骑摩托的一定要试试看！ 玩乐：1.度假村的大泳池，和鱼群一起游泳。我带了浮潜眼镜来观赏水里的鱼，非常原生态，接近大自然的感觉很有特色。 2.附近骑摩托车半小时可以抵达Suwat Waterfall，这里有个5米跳台可以跳水，我们在这玩的很开心。 3.酒店提供了蜡烛，我们在树屋阳台进行了烛光晚餐，房间里有免费的酒水和坚果椰子脆零食。在夜间几乎没有蚊虫，我们在外面坐了很久，听着音乐看着星空听着虫鸣喝着酒聊着天。 小动物：这里可能会有小动物出没，壁虎树蛙之类，但可惜我们没有遇见。 总的说我们在这里度过了非常美好的一天。感谢度假村工作人员无微不至的款待。

The hobbit treehouse is a unique place to stay in a magical natural location. Loved hearing the cicadas, birds and insects. Swimming in the natural pool with the fish and ate delicious breakfasts. Our daughter loved walking across the swing bridge, down the ladder into the treehouse.

Staying in the treehouse was a great experience. Be aware that it's surrounded by jungle nature, if you don't like that it's not an ideal place for you. We very much enjoyed the sounds of the birds and geckos around, the occasional visits of frogs in the outdoor bathroom and watching the squirrels in the trees :) The natural pool and swimming with the fishes is a good break for your skin and quite beautiful. The restaurant was exceptional! Staff was very forthcoming, even the owner came to greet us and ask if everything is fine. Nothing really more to say, very recommendable!

We had a fantastic stay at the Sebatu Sanctuary from Sept 1-2, 2025 at the hobbit tree house. Literally a house built in to a tree! Evi was very communicative and the staff at the sanctuary were very helpful. We also had great Balinese massages on site. Food at the restaurant was delicious especially when eaten poolside! Would highly recommend and wish we stayed longer.

We stayed in the Hobit treehouse and it was absolutely stunning! There are 2 ways in -in case you don't want to do the rope bridge and ladder! We loved listening to the noise of the jungle and they had thought of everything- even a complimentary stocked fridge and 3 bunches of fresh flowers. The staff were outstanding so helpful and at hand if you need anything. The food was gorgeous and reasonably priced. They arranged a spiritual cleansing ceremony, a cooking class and a fantastic massage all at really good prices. We highly recommend!

We came here as part on our honeymoon trip away and it was absolutely perfect! The staff were amazing and so attentive, they couldn't do enough for us. The owner came to speak with us every night to ask about our day which is so rare and was so lovely. We were in the hobbit tree house which we adored! The outdoor shower was lovely and they provide shower gel, shampoo etc. The natural fresh water pool with all the fish is something we've never experienced and there is a little waterfall, all very tranquil and ideal for a quiet, relaxing slice of heaven. There is also so much to do in the area that they can organise. We recommend the ATV if you are into extreme sport, the sacred monkey forest is a must! The food at Sabatu is exceptional and we recommend the beef randang! everything is delightful though and the apple pie is amazing! one last thing is definitely get a massage, that was soooo good! Thank you to the owner and the staff for making our experience so wonderful xxx

We absolutely loved the hobbit treehouse! My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and this place exceeded our expectations. Everyone, including the staff and the owner, Alex, were warm and friendly and welcoming. We loved the novelty of staying in a treehouse and appreciated the attention to detail (they placed 3 lovely bouquets of flowers in our room). The food also was phenomenal. We both especially enjoyed the sourdough pizza. Everything tasted so fresh and the service was fantastic! Would give 6 stars if we could!

This Hobbit tree house transported us to middle earth, with the round doors and cozy feel all while being in a tree. The staff were prompt and helped us with our luggage. The massages were well priced and 100% worth it. This eco friendly resort was one for the books.

We stayed at the Hobbit Treehouse for our honeymoon, and it was an incredible experience. The hosts were extremely communicative and went above and beyond—even helping us book excursions with Mason Adventures. They frequently checked in to ensure we had dinner plans and offered great recommendations, even arranging transportation when needed. The food was consistently fresh and delicious, and pricing was very reasonable. The hut itself felt like something out of a movie—nestled in the woods with private entry, it made for the perfect secluded getaway. We did have a few friendly visitors (frogs) in the open-air bathroom, which added to the immersive outdoor experience. I’d highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to disconnect and escape the busy city. Just a heads-up: since it’s deep in the forest, transportation can be harder to arrange on your own, but the hosts are more than happy to help with that too.

We spent a wonderful week here and loved every moment. The area is peaceful and the treehouse felt like paradise. Staff all so friendly and helpful. We ate every meal at the restaurant and they were all delicious. We would have liked to stay a month!

We had a truly magical stay at this beautiful treehouse. The booking process and communication were smooth, and every interaction with the staff was warm and thoughtful (Special thanks to our wonderful driver and guide, Kiu!) I had requested a surprise for my partner’s birthday, and they went above and beyond with such care and perfection. The cake was also delicious. The room itself is stunning. We fell asleep to the sounds of the jungle and loved having breakfast on the balcony surrounded by nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape the crowds and experience the peaceful side of Bali.

Wow! The tree house experience and the staff totally exceeded our expectations. It really was a magical place. The communication was fantastic from start to finish. Really close to Cretya where we went for the afternoon and a driver from Sebatu came to pick us up at 9pm. We ordered food from the menu on the group chat that was set up as soon as we arrived and it was ready to eat on our return. We chose to eat it in our tree house which was amazing. The food was delicious. It was all amazing value for money, we'd have paid double it was that god!

It was a unforgettable stay at the Hobbit-Treehouse. We felt welcomed from the moment arrived to the day we left. The natural surrounding is really beautiful and something you can not find a lot. And they really care about nature, what was nice to see. The food in the Restaurant was delicious. We only can recommend specially for naturelovers!

The hobbit treehouse was amazing. Especially the private walkway and the staircase down. It felt straight out of a movie. Definitely a good place to stay for a special day. Besides the treehouse the Eco pool was so unique it was really nice swimming with the fish, just be mindful that the rocks are slippery due to the natural algae. Beautiful, natural and authentic experience and atmosphere. The setting was beautiful, it had a Jurassic park sense to it, and the pool which was natural spring water with fish was very unique and impressive! The staff were all amazing, welcoming, responsive and had a very positive energy, it really gave a feel that you were part of a family! And that they cared about your experience there! The yoga teacher (that you could pay for additionally) was also amazing, with a really nice energy. Beautiful natural fruit and juices. We stayed in two different rooms which were wonderful and unique in different ways! The second room was a bit louder as it is half inside and half outside so you could hear the circadias very loudly when it rained but this was good for us as it was part of the natural experience! Unfortunately there is also some scooter noise from the road in that room but we honestly would stay in it again anyway, as we loved it so much

This was one of the most special places I’ve ever stayed. The treehouse is so amazing/beautiful and the rest of the resort is stunning. The staff are so kind and attentive. It’s a bit outside Ubud centre but it will become a retreat from the chaos. I found myself coming home to just enjoy the wonderful surroundings.

We stayed one night in the Hobbit Treehouse at Sebatu Sanctuary and wish we had more time! From the time we hopped out of our taxi, we were welcomed with open arms and they made us feel like VIP’s! They arranged early check in and took our bags to our room. The walk down to the room is magical-across the swing bridge, down the steep ladder and into paradise. We got a detailed tour of the room and even the mini bar was fully complimentary. There are 3 main spaces: the room and balcony, the rooftop lounge and the basement which has a swinging lounge. We went to the restaurant 3 times during our short stay and all meals were delicious. You do just need to catch their attention as they are running reception at the same time. There is a nearby waterfall you can visit which I would highly recommend, but also they offer tours at good prices. We chose to see the volcano in a retro VW Combi which was a great experience! My partner also enjoyed her massage at the day spa. Book this Airbnb!

Staying in a treehouse in the jungle was our dream honeymoon idea 5 years ago when we got married. We made it happen just now but it was so worth the wait. Everything was perfect from the surroundings to the friendly and kind staff who're always available. The natural pool was stunning and their respect for natural and animals was close to our hearts. Staying in the Hobbit treehouse felt like a fairytale and I only wish we could've stayed longer.

Awesome place, lovely staff and near to some interesting water-temples. The team arranged some really lovely massages too. The bamboo house and the safari tent look like nice places to stay as well. The restaurant managed to accommodate vegan/gf dietary requests without any problems.

What an enchanting place! We had the privilege to stay in the hobbit tree house and it was so charming! The whole respect is beautiful, clean and charming. The restaurant is absolutely delicious! Swimming in the pool was so nice, especially with all the fish swimming with us! The staff were very nice and accommodating! Great experience! I highly recommend it!

amazing views, beautiful accommodation. The staff were so helpful. The food was really good and you could even order food via a Whats App group to be delivered to your accommodation or poolside. We enjoyed a massage and a guided walk to a waterfall. visiting caves and walking through the rice fields. our guide told us about the different trees and plants and about the local culture. This was a truly unique experience and we will defoe back.

My wife and I had an amazing time in the hobbit treehouse!! The staff was so amazing and made us felt so welcomed.

The treehouse looks just like the photos. The hobbit theme is kept all throughout and is really lovely and enjoyable. The appartment is very cozy, especially the terrace overlooking the valley and the rooftop terrace to chill. The bathroom is open - Balinese style - but it was clean and good to use, it only gets a bit chilly showering in the night. The inside of the appartment was lovely decorated including a heater and a cooler, yet the space was almost two narrow for two suitcases, we had to climb over one to get to the bathroom. The breakfast is nice and gets delivered to the room. The communication with the team is really great and the response times are very fast and you can get everything delivered to your room. The restaurant is nice but the portions can be a bit bigger.

Everything was as stunning as described. Definitely a childhood dream came true :) Evi was responsive to our inquiries, and the staff was very welcoming since our arrival. We got to enjoy the natural pool with fishes, movie night, and a bike ride. Also, their breakfast was most likely the best breakfast we’ve had on vacations. P.S. My dog also had a ton of fun sniffing all the greens 😁

This treehouse was absolutely magical. The location is beautiful and the rest of the hotel is excellent. We absolutely loved the restaurant and the staff is so helpful. We went for a guided bike tour which was the absolute highlight of our week in Bali! We learned so much from our guide, Kiu (or Q?), and saw the real Balinese life. There is a lovely set of waterfalls just a 10 minute walk away as well. This is really an excellent stay, highly recommend!

They were so accommodating from start to finish. We arrived early and they gave us a place to rest while we waited for our room. I had a cold and they offered everything you could need to try and get me healthy. Even after check out they provided a place to rest before moving on to our next location and gave me a hot compress.

We had an amazing time at this Eco Resort! The treehouse we stayed in was beautiful and looked just like the photos. The food was incredible and the staff was friendly and helpful. We absolutely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Ubud!

It was incredible!! The cicadas were extremely loud at first but nobody can control that, and they did stop before bedtime. Other than that everything was amazing and I highly recommend this place :)

是在距离乌布比较远的村镇上，距离圣水寺比较近。非常安静，与世隔绝的小村庄，推开门就是原始森林。餐厅味道也还不错，但就是价位同比巴厘岛还是比较高的，相当于欧洲的物价水平。喜欢隐秘闭世的伙伴可以尝试，树屋很满足童年的幻想。树屋真的很高，穿过吊桥抵达房间台阶也非常陡峭，建议还是走另外一条便捷的人行通道。总之，入住体验还是很愉快的。

An amazing and unique stay in a stunning and serene location. The perfect set up and I’d absolutely recommend!

My wife and I had just got married in Bali, and the Hobbit Tree-house was one of the destinations we chose for our honeymoon. Sadly my wife was very unlucky and contracted Dengue Fever, so we weren't able to make the trip in her condition. Evi and her husband Alexander were very understanding and accommodating with our unfortunate situation, and offered us a voucher so that we could instead stay another time. Having not stayed at the accomodation yet, the hosts are genuinely lovely people so have no doubt there service is top notch. We very much look forward to finally staying at the Hobbit Treehouse in the near future.

Absolutely incredible place! Everyone we met was so friendly, went above and beyond to help us and the place is stunning - even better then the photos! We actually changed our room last minute (before arriving) as we were travelling with a baby and decided the safari tent might be more practical then the treehouse. It was gorgeous! Evi was super helpful in sorting this for us. Although there were other guests, it felt super quiet, we always had the pool to ourselves - I couldn’t recommend it more! Thanks Evi and the whole team!!

At first staying in the jungle (especially in a treehouse) made me a little nervous of bugs and cleanliness. Thankfully, it was unbeatable. We didn’t see any bugs inside the treehouse at all. The bathroom was an outdoor bathroom but even at night with the light on out there, there were almost no bugs (I probably saw 2 small bugs total) It was very clean inside the treehouse and bathroom. The staff could not of been more polite, warm, helpful and welcoming. They were quick to help with any adjustments, room service, bags, ect. They worked quickly and efficiently while making us feel right at home. The food at the restaurant was also very good! They offer all different types of food so the adventurous eaters and the safe eaters have delicious options! Checking in and checking out was seamless. I highly recommend to stay here!

We can not say enough about our amazing stay at Sebatu Sanctuary. The location is peaceful and serene, while the staff anticipated and accommodate any needs we had. Our driver Q was fantastic and we learned many interesting and helpful things about life in Bali. All the staff are friendly and always ready with a smile, so we felt well taken care of. The resort is a must stay and we will visit again. The food is amazing!!!

We stayed in tree house and also bamboo house both were great. The pool was amazing, swimming with fishes were priceless. Staffs were so kind and helpful to us. We will certainly go there again.

I absolutely loved my stay in the Hobbit tree house. It is such a cool place! The description of the property was exact. The area was so peaceful. I loved that the airbnb was located on the same grounds as the Sebatu Eco Resort. This allowed me to use all of their amenities as well such as their pool, restaurant, and even book excursions with their staff. I will say that the restaurant's food was so good. It was the best food I've had throughout my whole stay in Bali. I was able to book a few excursions. Kiu accompanied me and was so sweet and accommodating. All of the staff were very welcoming and willing to get me anything that I needed/wanted. This place is amazing and I highly recommend it!

Such a dreamy place!! Incredible views. We had the best time here in Bali!! Service was the best ever I have experienced. They created a group for communications 24x7. Super responsive and helpful. They will arrange for literally anything you need for a nominal price. Location is very close to most major traditional/cultural Bali attractions. Overall, you definitely get the premium experience that you pay for.

Better than I expected. Had everything we needed. Good food, great friendly staff. Having a few scooters available to rent made getting out and doing things quick and easy. In a great location to check out ubud and the surrounding area and cruise back to peaceful Sebatu and also go to the north mountains and waterfalls.

El único problema es que la piscina no estaba disponible por un problema de algas y en ningún momento se nos había informado previamente. Esto es una falta, ya que uno de los motivos de reservar aquí era poder disfrutar de una piscina y escapar del calor. Por lo demás, todo perfecto. Muy atentos y muy serviciales. Recomendable 100%

The tree house was a very special experience for us, with a large tree running through the room, the sound of small animals when the door opened, and the hospitality of the owner. But it's a bit far from the centre of Ubud

Lovely tree house in the middle of the jungle. The house has all the amenities you can need (i.e. small fridge, coffee, tea, toiletries). The staff were incredibly helpful, let us borrow the hotel bikes to explore the local area after haven given us some recommendations of things to do and see nearby. I wrote a review for the bamboo treehouse as well since we were lucky enough to stay in both during our trip. Both were incredible! Beautiful location away from the crazy tourist scene so you get more of a feel for real life in Bali. The staff were some of the most amazing people we have ever been lucky enough to meet and helped with anything we needed including booking all out of activities for us. This is one of the best Airbnb experiences I have ever had and only wish we’d had more time! I promise you will not have a single regret booking this place other than having to say goodbye.

Magnifique endroit. C’est Vraiment la forêt enchantée avec cette cabane au milieu des arbres et des cocotiers. Surplombée par ce sublime pont suspendu et sa terrasse privée juste au dessus de la chambre qui elle même a une petite terrasse pour votre café et petit déjeuné le matin si vous le souhaiter. Personnels souriants et adorables avec un service impeccable et une très bonne cuisine. L’hôtel en lui même est un petit écrin au milieu de la nature avec une piscine naturelle et ses poisson. On se baigne vraiment dans la nature. C’est paradisiaque.! En famille, en couple ou encore amis, vous nous le regretterez pas ;) Petit bémol : la proximité avec les autres bungalow et la route en contre bas avec les bruits environnants.

We stayed in the Hobbits Treehouse and it was truly amazing. The pictures on the site didnt do it justice. Magical setting, with the most attentive staff to help with anything we needed. The Drivers we used were exceptional, friendly, provided information like a guide would, and showed us lots of wonderful sites and places to see The breakfast and dinner were exceptional value, and the pool (with the fish) was breathtaking We will be back for sure Thankyou

Beautiful treehouse! We wished we could stay for more than one night to take it all in. They also provided us with free bicycles to visit the very nearby Pura Gunung Kawi, which is in my opinion the most beautiful temple you can visit in Bali as it is large enough to be intriguing yet secluded enough to feel private, not to mention its aesthetic beauty. All in all, a beautiful place that was more akin to what we hoped Ubud would be like.

lovely tree house with nice details😍. Very comfortable bed and nice outdoor shower. You will wake up in the middle of the Jungle. It's close to Tegalalang rice fields (around 10min by scooter) and around 30min to Ubud. There is also a very delicious Restaurant which is part of the hotel.

Our stay was amazing! When we checked in, we were so shocked with the beauty of everything that we didn’t want to leave the hotel. So we enjoyed a great day there. Our hobbit house was something we never saw before, really beautiful and unique. Every detail was well thought of! The staff were so kind and helpful, the best service. And the food was delicious and you could have it in your tree house! A lot invested in the property! We definitely recommend it !!

It was a fantastic place and an experience. But I need to say that ,due to my wife's visa refusion, they had better can show understanding and cancel our reservation with a refund. Because of this, I had to go alone and stay.

This was truly a special place. It felt like being in a movie. The setting is surreal - unbelievably gorgeous being surrounded by jungle. The team is so lovely and goes above and beyond in every way imaginable. The service is 5 star in every aspect. The room is beautiful, bed was comfy, wifi strong (I took video calls with no issues), and probably the most stunning shower we've seen. The pool was huge (complimentary towels, goggles etc.), and it was such an experience swimming with all the fishes. They (painlessly) nibble on you (like one of those fish spas), which was so unique. The restaurant was also great - locally sourced ingredients and absolutely delicious meals. I'm trying to think of any downsides to give a fair review, but there genuinely just wasn't anything that bothered us. We'd 150% return, and we will.

We are still pinching ourselves about how incredible our treehouse stay was. It was the perfect blend of luxury and nature. The restaurant was so delicious and cheap. We didn't eat anywhere else (we even got a packed lunch to take on tours). The staff were so caring and attentive they even delivered room service to the tree house. The natural pool was healing and left your skin and hair soft. We took the kombi out around town, and I still have a smile on my faces thinking about it. We have already booked again next year. I want to particularly mention the owners who looked after the staff so well during the lockdowns that you can feel the staffs love and appreciation for their jobs and the property. If you don't stay here, you are missing out, I'd like to say a once in a lifetime experience, but we're going to make sure we return again and again.

Cool treehouse! Definitely a unique stay not too far from the main road in Ubud. The outdoor shower was very refreshing and we loved the adventure of crossing the suspension bridge and climbing down a ladder to get to the treehouse (there is also a separate entrance for those who have more mobility issues). We loved the breakfast that the resort restaurant made. Try the paratha wrap!

Wonderful place and so yummy food with cheap price. Hope can stay one week here, unfortunately, they have been fully booked. Only thing issue is related to the surroundings, since it is in the forest, lots insects with big size, only can stay in the room during the nights as the lights attracts insects. The bed sheet is a bit wet, but understandable.

В домике все продумано до мелочей. Здорово было идти по подвесному мостику с красивыми лампочками, лежать на качели снизу (самое удобное место в мире!), читать книжку наверху как в детстве, завтракать на балконе с видом на джунгли. Там есть даже книга посвященная домикам на дереве! В общем, советую, если вы хотите окунуться в детство и хорошо провести время вдалеке от цивилизации.

This is a location that will assure you know it vacation time. It’s peaceful, cozy, and romantic. It can allow you to break away from many of your everyday routines. The staff was very friendly and supportive in any way you needed them to be. You will truly have the outdoors feel during your visit here and you may even get a few friendly visitors.

Can’t recommend this place enough- perfect place to relax and unwind and get back to nature. I didn’t actually leave the resort as it was just so lovely to be there the whole time. Everything was wonderful! Sebatu is a beautiful place and the villa was exactly as described and expected. The staff was wonderful, everything was clean, the beauty of the tree house and bamboo room were as described and so peaceful. Loved our stay at Evi & Alex's amazing location! There was a big storm on our first night there so there was some leaking in the treehouse we booked, but they upgraded us to a bigger room and offered us a free dinner too! Both spaces we stayed in were incredibly unique (the hobbit treehouse is so well curated!) and the surrounding nature is stunning. The entire staff (Wayan, Yuni and everyone) were kind and accommodating too. If you're in the surrounding area, highly recommend checking out the Sebatu Sanctuary. Oh, and if you're lucky, you'll get to meet Alex's pet dogs and cats!!

Loved our stay! We booked the enchanted hobbit treehouse for two nights. We wanted to arrive a day early and stay an extra night (after cancelling another accommodation); the treehouse wasn’t available the night before but Alexander was SO helpful and we had a night in one of the safari tents on the resort instead. We’re so glad we did because we got to experience two different types of their accommodation. I had lots of questions before arriving which the host was super helpful with. This included organising a private Mt Batur guide for the sunrise hike, recommending local restaurants and also supporting with transport. We had never stayed anywhere like the Sanctuary eco resort - it was an incredible experience. The staff communicate with you on a group chat so it was super easy to book taxis, request room service, laundry…anything! Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast as lovely also and overall we loved our stay! We were gutted that we didn’t have longer there.

We stayed 5 nights in the hobbit treehouse and had a lovely stay. Q was amazing, we had a guided tour with him to visit the Cepung Waterfall and Pura Kehen. He is very knowledgable of the area and taught us a lot. The ladies working the restaurant/reception were also amazing and made us feel very comfortable. We had our breakfast and dinner at the restaurant every day, each meal was delicious. We met one of the owners Alex on several occasions and it is clear that this resort is very important to him and his family. We hope to return to Bali one day and will revisit this resort. And after a tour of the resort, we will be trying one of the other accommodations as there are several options. We will be recommending this place to any family and friends that wish to visit Bali. My stay with Evi and the team at Sebatu Sanctuary was so lovely! The eco-resort and treehouse were exactly as advertised down to every last detail - and I was still very impressed with the treehouse in person! There are many levels of the treehouse to explore and enjoy & I loved to food at the resort, free bike rental to explore the nearby village, and helpful drivers for transport to/from the beaches further south. This is the perfect stay in nature! The only additional guests I encountered were a few ants and a friendly gecko, both totally harmless - just worth knowing before you go to any eco-resort in the region that it is an immersive nature experience - and I definitely recommend this one!

We loved our stay here! It was unique, quiet and so intimate. We loved all of the perks of staying here including the Ubud shuttle, free bikes and motor bike rental. The waterfalls and temples right around the resort are beautiful and far less busy than the “popular” places a bit further away. The food was fantastic and accommodating for us as vegetarians.

It’s hard to put into words how incredible Sebatu Sanctuary is. We stayed 3 nights in the hobbit treehouse and it was perfect. The treehouse is magical, the views are so special and all the little touches makes the place homely. We ate at the restaurant on the property for almost every meal and the food was some of the best we had in Bali. We did some of the activities offered such as yoga and the picnic and we highly recommend. Everything was so well organised and thoughtful. This property is truly beautiful but what made our stay so memorable was the staff. We are so grateful to have been looked after by such a warm and friendly team. If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable experience then this is the place to stay.

The hobbit treehouse was beyond magical. Evi provided us with transportation for a deal and it was SUPER easy to find the driver! He was waiting for us at the gate with my name and the resort name. I highly recommend as it ease my anxiety of finding transportation upon arrival. She communicated so well the whole time and even let her employees know we were doing to be awhile due to customs etc. Once we arrived the workers were very attentive. The treehouse was so clean and wonderful. You are in the jungle and there will be bugs but it’s definitely manageable! They have a mosquito net that helped a ton. The workers provided recommendations on nearby restaurants and they had a taxi available. The taxi was safe and very kind! The whole experience was straight out of a movie and truly breathtaking. Enjoy the view, the balcony, the lovely bridge and swinging bed! This will forever be on of my favorite spots ever. The staff goes above and beyond for you and are such kind people.

Comfort means many things to many people. For us, great food and drinks, beautiful and comfortable space, and a lack of worry about the logistics that travel can present. Sebatu Sanctuary delivered all of this in the middle of the jungle, deep in the cultural heart of Bali. Where most would hug the beaches and resorts of this tropical get-away, we braved the culture rich interior. And thank goodness for the comfort Sebatu Sanctuary provided for us as we explored, shopped, and relaxed. The food was amazing, served in a space that put us into the environment. From the comfort of an English breakfast, to the exotic spices of a south Asian dinner. The elegance of top notch service and environment made meals an event worth looking forward to. Fueled by amazing food, the readiness to provide transport and access to the local events and activities made staying at Sebatu the perfect center to a sprawling stay on one of the most beautiful places in the world.

This is the best place we stayed at in Bali! The staff was super kind and attentive. It was 3 of us and we booked the hobbit house. However they prepared both the hobbit house and the bamboo house and let us pick! The house itself is an absolute dream. The food was outstanding and they even cater for vegans (and prepared breakfast boxes for us to take away). Make sure you do the yoga- the teacher was the best I have had in Bali.

This place was straight out of a story book! In aspects it’s more like glamping (in the middle of a beautiful jungle) so as long as you go into it with that mindset it’s wonderful! Evi and the staff were all exceptional with helping me surprise my husband for his birthday. Delicious cake and balloons beautifully decorated. Highly recommend this unique stay!

Lovely stay, can't compliment the food enough, all of it was great. The staff were very considerate and accommodating. After our first night, a tree fell near the treehouse and even though it wasn't damaged and safety wasn't compromised, they spontaneously offered for us to stay in a different room (the colonial bungalow) for our second night just for peace of mind, which we took up and thoroughly enjoyed. Not a stay for those who are finicky about insects; it was raining and ants kept coming into the bed even with the mosquito nets down. However this is perfect for nature lovers and if you're looking for a peaceful and quiet retreat from the typical touristy areas in Bali.

The Airbnb is exactly as advertised! It was the perfect spot to end off my bali trip. The staff was super friendly and quick to respond, the place was beautiful and great for pictures, and the food was spectacular along with the massage services the place provides. We had a truly wonderful experience at the Hobbit house. From the hanging bridge, to the decorations, to the beautiful sunrise on the balcony that overlooks the jungle, the treehouse is a must-see. We also enjoyed using the free bicycles to bike around the ricefields in Sebatu. The breakfast (included in your stay) and dinner selection at the hotel’s own restaurant was delicious. A wonderful, unforgettable place to stay for 2 nights! 🌴

It was our highlight in our bali trip. The best food we ate in Bali for really moderate prices. We'd recommend the bamboo house over the Hobbit tree house. The view is breathtaking and you get the whole jungle experience. We will definitely do it again when we're in Bali. The staff takes good care of you. And responds very quick and competent.

We ended our honeymoon with two nights at Sebatu Sanctuary. It was truly amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived they gave us a warm welcome, we immediately felt so good. The organized a picnic at a river for us and we got a massage. The food at Sebatu Sanctuary is also great, it’s delicious food of high quality. Our treehouse exceeded all of our expectations! It was clean, no spiders, the surroundings were beautiful and we saw a lot of squirrels. We would definitely recommend this place!

It was the most spotless stay of our trip! Stunning service, very unique treehouse, excellent food! 5 star rating, exemplary :) The hole team does their best to make you feel comfortable. One morning we got up very early (pickup time 2:50 am) to do the Mount Batur Sunrise Hike (good place for it - just a 45 minute carride to get to the starting point). After we came back, they prepared a late breakfast for us! :) You can use the pool 24/7 - you can rent a scooter right at the reception - they provide a laundry service, which was perfect during our long travel. Everything highly recommended! :) thanks again for the incredible time we had 😎

Amazing experience! From the moment you walk in, you’re transported to a fairy tale. We were welcomed by a great team who made us feel welcome. It was just the right size and we had plenty of room to stretch our legs. There’s a couple balconies to chose from and the view is absolutely gorgeous. You’re completely immersed in nature here. You can hear all the wonderful sounds of the forest around you throughout the night. It rained while we were here but the water stays out. We took a tour of the grounds and that was awesome. The guide shows you all conservation efforts they do there. The restaurant was delicious as well. The cats even came out to say hi. Wish we could have stayed longer but I’m glad we were able to experience this.

Evi's treehouse is the perfect getaway, a real hidden gem. The sanctuary and the treehouse are designed beautifully, and the treehouse has the most amazing view of the jungle. Everything in our stay, from the natural pool to the incredible food at the restaurant was honestly perfect. The staff was super sweet and made sure we had an enjoyable stay. Great spot for honeymooners or any couple looking for a night in a super unique place. Can't wait to come back one day!

Place was great! A fascinating experience that you should try at least 1 night! Treehouse was well-maintained. A few insects (because you’re in the jungle) but it’s really not bad at all as they place was clean. There is no AC installed but a portable one is provided so it was still very comfortable and cooling even when the sun was up. Service staff were THE BEST!!! Breakfast provided was tasty too! Really loved it here! Definitely recommend to give this experience a try!

This spot is MAGICAL - it really felt like a dream tree house that had everything you could have imagined. Also, the staff went above and beyond for us the entire time! The staff can also help you arrange airport transportation and scooters if of interest. The property is beautiful - if we could have stayed longer we would have!

We stayed in 4 different villas while in Bali and this was by far our favorite. The villa is beautiful and so unique. The staff are also amazing and helped to arrange motorbike rentals, day tours, massages and laundry. We could not say enough good things about every single one of them. Highly recommend staying here.

It was a lovely stay at the tree house, we really enjoyed our time there. Everything was as described and even better. :)

The staff went above and beyond for us and were incredible. Each day they cleaned the room spotless and gathered our breakfast order for the following day. We could eat in our rooms or at the restaurant. They helped arrange transport regularly and made sure everything went smoothly for us. The day we left, our taxi failed and they saved the day so we didn’t miss our boat ride. They even packed us a to go breakfast and a going away gift. You will be spoiled by the exceptional customer service this place offers. Highly recommend it!

The structure is so unique, but the restaurant and the staff are the jewel of the experience

We had an incredible stay in the Hobbit tree house for two nights. Evi was more than accommodating in putting in an extra bed on the floor so that we could all fit. Yes it was a bit squishy, but with the view and amazing places to be able to eat your breakfast (deck or rooftop of the treehouse), it is absolutely worth it. The eco resort prides itself in sustainability and this is evident in everything that they do. It is situated in a rural area, there were some local warungs in walking distance, but it is also very easy to hire a scooter from the resort to explore. We chose to eat at the restaurant on site each night. The food was delicious and very affordable. The tree house itself was incredible! Built around a huge tree, with a four poster bed and mosquito net, plus a cool loft for a child to sleep. The outdoor bathroom is stunning and the provided bath products smell incredible. Huge shout out to Yuni in reception and her brother Mida who was organized as our driver through the resort. They were both so friendly and helpful and we used Mida as our driver again when we left. The natural swimming pool with fish is stunning and the rice terraces nearby are beautiful. After experiencing life in the smaller, rural villages, I’m not sure I’ll want to go back to the main tourist drags again! The tree house was exceptional value for money and I would book it again in a heartbeat.

The treehouse was a gorgeous escape and introduction to Bali. It’s a perfect distance from central Ubud and a very cozy stay. We loved the outdoor shower and the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Our favorite part of every day was eating breakfast out in the patio outside the room. Stunning view

The staff here is exceptional, they helped make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable in so many ways. We also enjoyed the sense of humor and adventure fostered here through unique amenities like beautifully restored VW vans, a Vespa scooter, the treehouse... and many other touches throughout the amazing property. We would absolutely love to return and can recommend to others with 100% confidence you will enjoy it too.

We had a wonderful stay! The tree house is amazing and has everything you will need. It is very cozy and the view from the house is great. All the people that worked there were very helpful and kind. And the food was really good aswell. We wish that we have could hade stayed longer!

Sebatu Sanctuary and the Enchanted Hobbit Treehouse was a perfect jungle nest for my wife and I to start our honeymoon in Bali, but what truly made our experience so special was the service that we received. From the communication beforehand to the pickup at the airport, organizing various adventures on our behalf, and immediately responding and resolving a slight leak that we had (jungle rainstorm in a treehouse—what can you expect?) Every person that we met at Sebatu Sanctuary was so warm, kind and incredibly accommodating. I also have to mention the food. Outstanding. I could go on and on, but I will leave it at that. Overall, I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a tranquil, relaxing escape, and those who want to experience treehouse life. If you don’t mind a few bugs and lizards, Sebatu Sanctuary and the Hobbit Treehouse will be a stay to remember.

We had a great time at Evid Tree House in Sebatu Sanctuary in Tegalalang. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. Even better in real. You feel like in the middle of the jungle. The staff is super friendly and gave us great recommendations. Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

Incredible place! Off the beaten path but a short walk to the village where we enjoyed a beautiful temple and waterfall where you can do a purification ritual. The tree house was great and the staff was incredible.

Sebatu Sanctuary is a special place. The staff are so genuinely kind and helpful, we felt looked after from the first second of our stay. The location is secluded and private yet only half an hour away from Ubud and about a 10 minute-drive from Tegallalang Rice Terraces. The treehouse we stayed in was a childhood dream come true with jungle views. My husband couldn’t believe he was in Bali and not needing aircon because of how cool it was. The food was also some of the best we’ve had in Bali, fresh, homemade goodness. Definitely a magical place to come back to again!

The attention to detail in the hobbit house is truly magical, with all door handles being of ancient creatures, even the water tap is a dragon and carefully selected books on the bookshelf. The staff was amazing. We were able to be picked up and in a time of matter they drove us to a specific place in Denpasar. As it was my girlfriends birthday, we got a cake and flowers which really tells everything about the staff. We felt very cared for and would very much like to return one day.

It’s definitely the best stay experience ever in Bali! It is more likely a resort, so you can get all service from your room and well take cared by sweet staffs. Every single staffs in the resort are the kindest people in the world and also very professional at their job. (Thank you all!!) We have stayed at the tree house and the tent. Both houses are magically wonderful! Designed so pretty but also everty features considering a guest well. The garden and pool is just phenomenal, and restaurant food are fantastic with various vegan options. You don’t really need to go out for food. Everything on this resort built up eco friendly. Nothing harm nature, so can hang out the true beauty of nature! One of our best time was showering under the lovely jungle monsoon and stargazing at the treehouse! This magical memory will last entire of our lifetime. Thank you for sharing this amazing place! 🙏

The most incredible and exciting stay we had in Bali! I surprised my wife with this one night stay cause it was her dream to be in a tree house in the jungle…and it did not disappoint! Every detail was so cool and the design so brilliant and fun to live in. The doors are the coolest part! Also the resort it’s placed in is so friendly and eco conscious and beautiful! They let us rent a scooter and we could go to the rice terraces and water temples super easy just 10-15 minutes away! Definitely go to Alus Harum for all your Instagram needs! We loved our stay, our honeymoon welcome was utterly gorgeous :)

A wonderful and unique stay that I recommend!

This is a real hidden gem! Away from the crowds in Ubud and Tegelalang, but close enough to easily visit. The photos don’t even do it justice. The tree house we stayed in was magical, it’s like sleeping in the rain forest, but with all the comfort you need. The hospitality of the staff was amazing, just like the food. We stayed here for three nights and had dinner and lunch here every single day, because we did not want to skip on a meal here. This is one of the most special places we ever stayed in! Would recommend this to anyone.

What a dream! We absolutely loved staying in the Hobbit treehouse. The space was really cool, as well as cozy and comfortable. Waking up and having coffee on the deck overlooking the jungle and rice fields felt so magical. Mosquitoes love me, but surprisingly we weren't really bothered by them here - perhaps because it gets chilly at night. The grounds are equally lovely - clearly a lot of thought and care was given to their design. The pool was really neat - unfortunately it wasn't quite hot enough while we visited to want to spend much time poolside or in the water, but it was beautiful and fun to look at the different kinds of fish. We enjoyed dining in the open-air tent; they serve really great food for a reasonable price, and I grew addicted to the ginger tea in particular. It was nice to be greeted by the owner, Alex, his three dogs, and several kittens during meals. This was a great home base from which to explore the area - we enjoyed Alas Harum, Gunung Kawi temple, nearby restaurants, and the walkable Sebatu temple - if you visit, stop by Black Coffee for a delicious pitcher of arak mojitos and a plate of mie goreng! The area guide provided by the resort is extensive - you will probably wish you were staying far longer, so you could do everything. We definitely did! It can be a little difficult to find a taxi in the area, so you may wish to rent a scooter or enlist the aid of the extremely helpful front desk staff to get around. (The staff are the sweetest!) Lastly, I highly recommend getting a Four Hands massage in your room - the massage therapists are amazing! I hope to return someday.

We HIGHLY recommend staying with Evi at Sebatu Sanctuary! This is an absolute PARADISE! We completely loved it and would definitely come back any time! This was by far the best accommodation we had in Bali. Evi and her team were incredibly friendly, knew our names immediately, and tried absolutely everything to make our stay unforgettable. Being ecological is taken really seriously here (no unnecessary plastic, much wood) which we very much appreciated! There is a free shuttle to Ubud once a day which is perfect for one day trip and we also highly recommend a bike trip with the super friendly Wayan to the Tegallalang rice fields (also perfectly organised by the team at Sebatu Sanctuary). We stayed in the hobbit house, it was amazing, relaxing and quite. The staff are extremely friendly and nothing is to much at all, very engaging when and if you want them too, excellent service. Food was great, pool is good to relax by and take a dip (with the fish) would highly recommend a stay and definitely be back.

This is a MAGICAL place. You can definitely feel connected to the nature. The natural pool is just one of the highlights with fish swimming together with you... such a different and cool experience! The tree house itself has got everything you may need for a comfortable and pleasant stay: super comfy bed with mosquito net (so romantic!), coffee, tea, water, fridge, spacious semi-open bathroom clad in bamboo, reclaimed timber and with high quality brass fittings. The "eco" bit is no marketing trick here. These guys take it seriously. You won't find any cheap plastic here. It's all done with thought and consideration, always putting the environment first but never compromising on comfort. Oh, and there's a full size bed swing at a lower level of the tree house, plus a roof terrace with a stylish sofa and walk-on rooflight at an upper level. And the suspension bridge leading to the tree-house (if you like it in daylight, just wait for the night time!). Our room was kept squeaky-clean and always smelled amazing. Having stayed in quite few hotels around Bali (cheap, luxurious or quirky, you name it), I must admit that a great smelling room is hard to find! Food wise, it was soooo soooo good. We're both foodies and this was a pleasant surprise for us. We were spoilt with delicious breakfast served in our own private terrace with unobstructed jungle and rice paddie views. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner, again 5-star level. The staff was always there to help and they did go an extra mile every single time. I wish we stayed longer. As Arnold would say - I'll be back! ❤

Cool hideaway spot just outside of Ubud. Great to chill for some alone time, or go away with a partner for some romance. The food was delicious and the hospitality was some of the best. The hobbit house is super new so there were a couple of teething problems but the owner and staff took care of it right away. Some of the best communication and staff I’ve dealt with.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Perfect for honeymooners and couples. My husband and I didn't want to leave. The service is unparalleled. Attentive, caring and happy staff! They even baked a custom cake for our friend's birthday and helped set up a candle lit dinner. Breakfast from their restaurant was superb. Order the prata;) We stayed in several villas with different themes at Evi's. The safari tent really brings you that Africa experience. The theme is strong. Even the fridge is in theme. It's surprisingly spacious. The bathroom is amazing. You can spend hours just relaxing in their stone tub. We also spent time in their 3 floor hobbit themed treehouse. You can really tell that they thought out the design thoroughly. I really like how you can access the treehouse through a suspended bridge. At night, when the lights are on, this bridge looks so romantic. Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Not only did we feel recharged, we felt glad that Evi and Alex are keeping sustainability in mind when they built this place. It's not just marketing to call it an eco resort. They are really doing their part to be a model of sustainability. Thanks Evi and Alex!

The hobbit treehouse is one of a kind. We had such a fun night sleeping in the middle of nature. The beds were super comfy and we felt like we were on a mini-adventure! Just a heads up that the jungle can be noisy at night if you're a light sleeper. But if you're into bird watching, large butterflies, fresh air and lush surroundings this is for you.
