Exploring Family friendly poolside room - Central location left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Family friendly poolside room - Central location was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my South Kuta plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Family friendly poolside room - Central location painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

The staff were very friendly, attentive, and responsive, which I truly appreciated. The property was clean and well maintained, although it felt a bit smaller and more crowded than I expected from the listing. One important point for me was Nyepi, a meditation day, during which I needed a kitchen in the room to comfortably stay in. Unfortunately, the room did not include one, which made my stay less suitable than anticipated. Because of this, I decided to cancel shortly after arriving. However, the refund policy was quite strict, and I only received about a quarter of what I had paid, which was disappointing. Overall, I’m grateful for the kindness and professionalism of the staff, but I would recommend future guests carefully review the amenities and cancellation policy before booking.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft von der man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Gegend schnell mit dem Roller erreichen kann. Die Unterkunft liegt an einer Straße jedoch ist es im Zimmer sehr ruhig und man bekommt von dem Straßenlärm kaum etwas mit. Der Pool und die Anlage sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Bei Fragen konnte man sich jederzeit an die Rezeption wenden und bekam immer ausführliche und freundliche Antworten. Alles in allem eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Putu and his team were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and warm. The reception even provided us with earplugs (which we didn't end up needing, it was super peaceful!). The place itself was only 'okay' though. We felt like the photos in the listing made it seem like a more private villa with only two rooms. It turns out it's a full-fledged (albeit small) hotel! The room itself was very clean and spacious, but the outdoor spaces also looked much better in the photos. They were a bit run down in person. The area was awesome, central enough but still quiet and peaceful. Water pressure in the shower is low but that's to be expected in Bali! Overall, we'd still recommend this place, we just wish it was more accurately represented in the photos.

Responsive host, really lovely staff members who always cleaned the room and greated us on every arrival. The room was spacious and decorated really nicely, always had fresh towels everyday :) only thing was the amount of mosquitoes around the room! they did enter the room through holes a lot but there is a mosquito net around the bed and incense to help..lovely security guard too! Overall really peaceful enjoyable stay

The location and property are amazing. I just had one concern with Putu’s bike rental vendor. The man was not at all trustworthy, had damaged vehicles, and also not at all friendly to talk to. Putu, you must change the bike rental vendor, because he is the first person that one gets to interact with while entering property, and that man ruins the entire experience. He is rude and not at all accommodating. Rest, the property is exactly how it is mentioned in the listing and we had an amazing 2 day stay.

Our stay at Sampian cottages was decent enough, but not incredibly memorable. The staff were pretty good, very responsive, and helpful enough. However, the place looks a fair bit better in the pictures, and the rooms and grounds could do with some TLC, a fresh coat of paint, and some love. The place feels a bit tired and neglected. I organised a scooter through Sampian’s contacts, and was charged a premium price…The scooter broke down on the second day, and I was only given a 50% refund of my money leaving me one day out of pocket, without proper reimbursement. Overall, I feel the owners need to spruce the place up a bit.

Nice little place with beautiful rooms and lots of stuff to do and see in the area. We changed our room from the ground level since we found it a bit dark and got an upstairs cottage (thanks for the flexibility!!). It was next to the street which can be quite busy/loud, so if you’re a sensitive sleeper I would recommend getting a room a bit further away from the street. The property and our room was super clean, the air condition worked perfectly and we got a scooter right when we arrived. In comparison to our stays before I found it a bit expensive but I guess that’s because of the quote touristy area.

Puta was extremely helpful pre- check-in to organize everything and very easy to communicate with. We arrived after typical check- in hours with no problem . The room was even nicer than the photos suggest and the location is perfect. Note that if you plan on walking there are no sidewalks and lots of traffic so bring shoes you can rely on unless you are very comfortable in flip flops/ sandals. It is quite hilly so the easiest option was to take a grab scooter. Lots of restaurants and nearby beaches, and the hotel pool was lovely and never busy ! Would come again.

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad bij Sampian Cottages Bingin. De mensen zijn heel vriendelijk, de kamers ruim en mega schoon. We hadden een kamer direct aan het zwembad, wat super luxe was. Zit in een rustig straatje dichtbij de gezelligheid. 100% een aanrader.

It was a great location, nearby there’s restaurants, shops. The host was very friendly and responsive, we checked-in easily even arriving after working hours. The space was clean and the garden was beautiful.

We had a lovely stay at the sampian cottages. We spent 3 nights. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Especially the hostess at reception who answered all our questions and gave us tips! You also receive a lot of tips for local businesses to support. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a direct access to the pool. The pool is very quiet and nice to spend time around. We walked around a lot but you can just as easily take a grab. We saw some comments about the noise. Can you hear the street from the room? Yes, like everywhere in the area, it can get busy and a bit louder but we did not find it disturbing. We really recommend Sampian cottages!

We had such a wonderful stay – for the second time already! 🤍 Unfortunately, it was only a very short visit this time, but we loved being back. The room is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed and exactly as shown in the pictures. Everything feels very well taken care of and you immediately feel comfortable and at home. We would definitely come back again and can highly recommend this beautiful place. 10/10 Unterkunft, Location und Kommunikation mit dem Owner. :) Die Mitarbeiter äußerst hilsbereit und freundlich. Es gibt Snacks und Getränke vor Ort. Sehr entspannte und ungestörte Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und für uns perfekt.

Even though we only stayed for one night, we absolutely loved this place. Everything exceeded our expectations – the villa is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and has a luxurious yet warm and welcoming atmosphere. The pool and the entire outdoor area are stunning and perfectly maintained, making it a wonderful place to relax. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and everything worked perfectly from check-in to check-out. We were genuinely sad to leave after just one night, but we’re already looking forward to coming back at the end of our trip. That says it all! We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly special stay.

The stay was excellent and very peaceful despite being close to the busy areas of Uluwatu. It was walkable to everything we needed including local restaurants, shops, gyms, and beaches. Putu was very helpful in arranging transportation and communicating throughout our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet stay while still being close to the action in Uluwatu.

Great location! Host was responsive when there was no one to check us in and replied explaining the situation. There was someone there to help within minutes. We were also allowed early check in. Pool feels like a private pool it’s a very quiet cottage but close to everywhere you want to be. All staff were very helpful, polite and welcoming. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Awesome spot. Room was exactly like the pictures and it is in excellent walking distance to Bambu gym and lots of cafes etc. only thing I would say is there is a lot of mosquitos and the lighting isn’t very good in the room. Overall, loved my stay!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Putu and his team are so kind and accommodating. The location was perfect for us. It felt very private and tucked away but also a short walk to great restaurants, shopping, and yoga studios! We would absolutely stay here again!

It was great staying here and all the workers there were helpful and nice to us. The Airbnb itself was close to the beach and to some nice restaurants. The shared pool is great when you want to cool off during the day and the room itself was cleaned everyday. We were both really surprised of how welcoming the hosts are. Can definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect-restaurants, bars, shops and cafes all within walking distance. It is located on the road but road noise was minimal. Putu is lovely, he stayed in contact with us throughout our stay and was available if we needed anything. We loved the mini bar in reception that was accessible 24 hours a day and the pool was stunning and a nice temperature to cool off in. We would 100% recommend staying here and we will definitely be staying here again.

We loved our stay - perfect location and fresh - nothing else we needed. We didn’t use the pool and so on but it was a clean apartment with AC and close to so many good restaurants and cafes etc. Would definitely recommend. Lovely staff that helped us to easily hire a moped!

Our stay at Sampian Cottages Bingin was very pleasant, the room was spacious and welcoming, clean and tidy. I even felt I could stay there the whole day. The area around the pool was so pleasant and peaceful, I loved it. Furthermore, at reception the welcoming protocol is outstanding and in our case, Yuli was very helpful and friendly.

A great place to stay at Bingin Beach! It’s walkable to everywhere you want to go but also easy to hire a grab scooter from. The room was beautiful and spacious, loved the pool area. The hosts were so friendly too, and arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport late at night. Hope to be back one day!

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft wirklich sehr zufrieden. Die Lage war top, wir konnten uns super schnell zurecht finden und auch zu Fuß bereits erste Läden/Boutiquen/Restaurants erreichen. Mit dem Roller ist man innerhalb weniger Minuten gefühlt überall - in der Nähe vom Strand, den Einkaufsstraßen und mitten „im Leben“. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, haben uns immer direkt geantwortet und wir konnten den Roller direkt vor Ort buchen und waren rundum zufrieden. Auch die Reinigungskräfte waren sehr zuvorkommend, der Pool war für uns definitiv ein Highlight, da der Strandzugang in Uluwatu meist Geld kostet und etwas „steinig“ ist. Hier konnte man an Nachmittag den Tag wunderbar ausklingen lassen. Es war insgesamt sehr schön, sauber und alles sah so aus wie auf den Bildern. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen ☺️

Vi storkoste oss her! Stort og fint innredet rom, med aircon og direkte tilgang til bassenget i hagen. Veldig koselige omgivelser. Men pass på dørene, hvis ikke får du besøk av geckos 😂🦎 Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Super schöne Unterkunft! Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Der Pool ist auch toll mitten im Grünen gelegen. Restaurants und Strand sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Personal war total lieb und aufmerksam. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, die wir auf Bali hatten.

Geweldig verblijf op een top locatie in het hart van Uluwatu. Ruime, comfortabele en schone kamer met je eigen buitenruimte dat grenst aan het zwembad. Service was uitstekend, evenals de communicatie. Raad het ten zeerste aan!

It was a beautiful quiet haven away from the hustle and bustle of Uluwatu. Amazing beaches, cafes and restaurants just walking distance away and the staff were able to organise scooter hires for us and have them delivered to the property. A special thank you for all your care and attention when my partner was sick, they checked on us each day and had medications available and offered to call a doctor for us. Overall an 11/10 experience staying at Sampian Cottages.

I cottages di Putu sono straordinari, immersi nel verde e nella pace. Lo staff è gentilissimo e ci ha accolte con una bevanda e una lavette fresca. Wir haben ein paar Tage in der Unterkunft verbracht und uns hat es außerordentlich gut gefallen. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und am Pool konnte man sehr gut entspannen. Putu und das Personal waren sehr freundlich - wir wurden immer mit allem gut versorgt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen, ich würde immer wieder kommen!:)

Die Unterkunft ist eine kleine Ruheoase im lauten und vollen Uluwatu. Wir wurden sehr nett und freundlich empfangen, zur Begrüßung gab es einen Willkommensdrink. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren sehr zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, luxuriös und gemütlich, alles war sehr sauber. Zum Zimmer gehörte eine Terrasse und ein Ruhebett direkt am Pool. Dort haben wir zwei sehr entspannte Nachmittage verbracht, die den Trubel der Stadt schnell vergessen lassen. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort und empfehlen die Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter.

We stayed at Putu’s place for 3 weeks - we can’t thank all the staff enough from start to finish! They arranged collection for us from the airport, we even missed our last flight and had to get in later than anticipated. The space was lovely and exactly as the images described, the communal pool and lounge space was stunning as well! Very clean and the staff helped us rent scooters for our stay and anything we asked they accommodated if it was possible. The location was ideal, we do CrossFit so it’s literally 30 second scoot to the gym and co working spaces as well as only a scoot away from beaches - it was just perfect for what we were looking for and would stay again! Thanks to the team!!

Super séjour dans un endroit paisible et au milieu de Bingin et Uluwatu. Très bon restaurant accessible à pied ainsi que 2 centres de yoga. Chambre spacieuse et beau mobilier, nous avons terminé 6 mois de voyage dans ce magnifique havre de paix, nous avons adoré. Personnel très attentionné. Piscine + mini shala pour pratiquer le yoga. Je recommande +++

This place is beautiful! the room is so lovely, a lot bigger than it looks on the photos. The team are super friendly and helpful and make you feel right at home. The location is perfect, close to loads of restaurants & bars and some really nice breakfast spots. We will 100% be back!

Sampian Cottages was one of the most relaxing places I've ever stayed. The whole little complex is beautiful and feels like a secluded little oasis. The pool area is so tranquil and relaxing that I often didn't feel like leaving the accommodation to go to the beach. Putu and the staff were also very helpful with local restaurant and shop recommendations. Renting a scooter from the property was also a breeze and they also helped to book a driver for my next destination. When you're on holiday, this is the type of ease you want. Overall, a lovely experience at Sampian Cottages, they made it a special experience. Would highly recommend anyone stay here.

Die Lage ist wirklich perfekt, um zu den Stränden zu gelangen. Alles, was man in Uluwatu machen kann, ist nicht weit weg. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und weitläufig und wir hatten die Möglichkeit, vor Ort einen super Roller zu mieten.

One of our best stays ever! Putu and his team were so helpful with everything from scooter rentals to restaurant recs to booking in-house massages. The location was perfect, close enough to everything but slightly away from the hustle and bustle. Extremely clean and beautiful. Exactly like the photos. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Putus place was great. We got help with taxi drivers, to borrow a scooter and much more. The service was great. The room was very beautiful and had direct access to the pool. Many restaurants and also some beaches and other places are reachable by foot. All in all we had a great stay thanks to Putu and his team.

One of the best places I have ever stayed at! Putu is very responsive & super helpful. The place is BEAUTIFUL, the pictures do not do it justice. My friend was unwell, Putu & Yuli from reception responded straight away & brought her some tablets, recommended nearby pharmacies too and she was better within 1 day, exceptional service! Couldn’t have asked for nicer and more helpful people, I would come back in a heart beat! Perfect location & housekeeping everyday was amazing! Thank you!!

Ein perfekter Aufenthalt! Super schöne, saubere Unterkunft. Der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt und der Empfang ist tagsüber immer besetzt. Besonders gut hat mir die Mappe gefallen, in der Tipps zur Kultur, Umweltbewusstsein, ect. gegeben wurden. Beim Check-out durften wir unser Gepäck noch einige Stunden verschlossen in der Unterkunft aufbewahren. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

We had an an amazing stay here! Perfectly located within walking distance to Bingin Beach and a bunch of restaurants. Villa was nice and cool in the aircon and the pool was a treat. Putu helped organise our late night pickup from the airport and it made checkin a breeze... would absolutely stay again!

We had the most amazing time at this villa. Putu and his staff are so incredibly caring, welcoming and helpful. The villa it’s self is beautiful and perfect for two people. The location was easy to find, close to so many delicious bars, restaurants and cafes, some that you could walk to. Would highly recommend to anyone - thank you!

We loved this spot. Incredibly close to the main town and also the beach. So many good restaurants around. We found the staff very accommodating and fulfilled very request we asked. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The pool is small but very pleasant to have a dip in after being in the sun. Putu was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We bed is extremely comfortable and the shower pressure was very good which is hard to find in Bali! Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone coming to Uluwatu.

The villa, poolside and surrounding garden were marvellous. The space was well kept and very clean, with daily housekeeping. The staff was very accommodating. They helped us with getting from the airport and transportation to the next destination. We were given an online guidebook with great local recommendations. The location is very convenient - close to the beach and restaurants. They also have scooters for rent at fair prices. If you're a light sleeper, consider taking earplugs, as there's some animal sounds at night and in the mornings. All in all, highly recommended!

Chambre très propre, accueil et service impeccable et emplacement parfait. En revanche, je trouve le prix un petit peu élevé par rapport à Bali et la chambre qui était un peu simple ainsi que le logement en lui même.

We had the most wonderful stay here! The room was absolutely beautiful, the finish was fab and it was designed beautifully too. The staff were so lovely and made us feel so welcome! Only small suggestion would be to maybe have a safe in the rooms! Other than that we had the best stay so thank you very much :)

I can’t fault Sampian Cottages. It’s in the most perfect location- very short drive or walk to the beach, restaurants and shops of Bingin. Our room was huge and super comfortable. The pool is perfect for a post surf dip. We also had our 6 month baby and it was great for her too- lots of comfy play areas around the pool.

Via de receptie een scooter gehuurd. Dat is gezien de grootte van het gebied geen luxe. De receptie verzorgde ook een taxi naar de AirPort voor een redelijke prijs.

This place is very beautiful. We stayed in room 5 for our honeymoon. And it was everything we wanted, quiet, tranquil, and it felt like home. The pool is very beautiful and a nice place to cool off after a day at the beach or site seeing. Each room has its own area to relax and we took advantage of this every day. The rooms was very clean and very cute. It’s a short walk to Bingin beach and there are several outstanding places to eat nearby. Definitely a perfect honeymoon spot if you want some quiet time to relax and recharge.

Perfect stay at Putu’s place in Uluwatu. The location couldn’t be more convenient for accessing top beaches like Bingin and Dreamland. The condo was well stocked with all the things you would need for a short stay. Putu and team were extremely responsive and professional - we were even able to have a late check in at 9PM. Putu was also kind enough to organize a scooter rental for us. Don’t hesitate to book here!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Putus Unterkunft. Es war sehr sauber und jeden Tag wurde das Zimmer gereinigt. Man konnte in der Unterkunft Roller mieten was wir sehr gut fanden. Restaurants waren Fußläufig zu erreichen und mit dem Roller waren es auch nur kurze Wege zum Beach etc. Auf Fragen haben wir schnell antworten bekommen. Wir können jedem die Unterkunft empfehlen.

We had a lovely stay at Sampian cottages, which is very well located in Uluwatu (close to shops and restaurants). The cottages are spacious and they have nice beds. Putu is very friendly and responds quickly. We will come back one day!

Amazing location and gorgeous little villa, would absolutely stay again

One of the best I’ve stayed in. Was a superb area, very quiet and yet a lot of cafes and restaurants around. Beach’s are also walkable from here. Loved to room and the set out of the pool. Staff were really helpful too. Would definitely come back here next time

This was my first time in Bali. I was so happy that when I located the cottages, Putu offered help to pick me up from the airport. I arrived past midnight from Hawaii, and the driver waited patiently while I retrieved my luggage, made it through customs, and used the ATM at the airport. I would definitely recommend this place as the location is very convenient. There are several restaurants nearby, a yoga studio, a boutique, and an easy walk to Bingin Beach, and if you keep it light, also to Pagang Pagang Beach. I was able to walk to eIther beach with a small backpack. Nothing to do with the stay at Putu’s place, but whenever you are walking in Bali, beware that the traffic direction is like in the UK, and there are a lot of scooters. I’d definitely book it again!

Had a great stay here. Quiet and comfortable rooms with plenty of space. Putu was very kind and allowed a late checkout with minimal notice and was able to respond quickly to any questions we had.

If your a health conscious traveler then Putu’s place is for you! BamBoo fitness is just up the road and offers a number of different fitness classes. There are as well Yoga studios plenty. Cafes, bakeries, restaurants and shops all within walking distances and some of the best beach’s just a short scooter and staircases away. My Villa was massive! A lot bigger than I was expecting. Cleaned daily and pool towels always seamlessly replaced. I will defiantly be staying here again next time I’m in Uluwatu!

I loved staying here!! It looks exactly like the photos, very modern and clean. Strong wifi, I did work calls here and it worked well. They even accommodated bringing me an extra chair! The cottages felt very safe to me and the pool is lovely and design details are lovely. In the best part of Uluwatu, located in Bingin near yoga, restaurants, shops. You’re close to Bingin beach and also dreamland in one direction and Padang Padang in the other. Putu is incredibly kind, helped w everything. Sorted out a bike rental immediate on arrival. Will be back again!

This was my first time Bali and I’m a solo traveling female…This place was absolutely amazing! It exceeded my expectations. There’s great restaurants in walking distance, also many sites as well as the beaches are a short scooter ride away. Everything was super clean and charming. I’m on a first time solo trip as a female, I felt really safe and at home at this property. There was an electric tea kettle in the room, if you’d like to bring any instant coffee or tea. There was also a mini fridge and fresh drinking water in the room. A local store with snacks and drinks was right around the corner. The WiFi was great! I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Uluwatu!

Very cleand and super helpful staff. Small suggestion to seal the doors better so that the room don't get uninvited guests (insects). Anyway 5 star stay :)

Nice, clean, simple yet modern decor, and affordable stay near Bingin Beach. Quiet and private room. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend for short or long stays.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb. Since day 1, Putu has been very responsive and helpful. He shared a great guide to the area too. The pool is nice to dip into after a long hot day. We stayed in the downstairs unit and it was private and clean. We didn’t expect this, but everyday, someone came in to tidy up the room and bathroom - very appreciated. The location is perfect too - a short 9 min walk to Bingin Beach and close to the main road. The local restaurants are also delicious! Thanks, Putu!

Beautiful, clean room and comfortable bed. Shower and toilet were perfect. Very close walking distance to Laggas for amazing food, a mini mart, and the Bambu Fitness Center which is the best in Bali. A perfect stay with a very helpful team.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön in Uluwatu gelegen. Perfekt um nach dem langen Flug auf dem schönen Bali anzukommen. Der Bingin Beach und viele tolle Restaurants sind in der Nähe und sogar zu Fuß gut zu erreichen! Der Gastgeber hat uns einen Abholservice organisiert welcher sehr hilfsbereit war und uns geholfen hat Sim-Karten zu organisieren. Die Unterkunft ist schön groß, hell und sehr sauber!

Really lovely place great location to the beach, really nice restaurants near by! Would recommend if you a surfer as Bingin in a 6 min walk. Definitely go to bingin beach for a sunset dinner as they cook fresh fish right on beach! If you want a scooter just ask the host and she was so accommodating getting us a bike that day! Great time really enjoyed it there!

Clean and tidy room. Spacious and easy to settle into with a large Barth room and clothes racks. They gave us new beach towels everyday which was great because in the humid climate things don’t dry straight away. Good privacy and reliable aircon to keep the room cool. Only down side was lots of trees that while beautiful made it very dark and shady. We enjoyed the location as it was a good half way point to Ulu and Bingin. Both accessible by bike.

Really liked Sampian Cottages as a solo female traveller. It was beautiful with the garden and central pool. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Location is good too - walking distance to Bingin Beach but probably best to get a scooter. Would stay here again!

Very very nice place in Bingin. Perfect communication with Putu, he gave us very good recommendations in the area. The location is perfect. We recommend to rent a motorbike to explore the area. But if you don’t a lot of good places and nice beaches are at a walking distance for the place. The pool area is very nice to relax! Very clean! 100% recommended.

Putu is an amazing host. Accepted my request and picked me up same day as I changed plans last minute. His place is beautiful , vibe is amazing, private and quiet. Bed super cozy , walking distance to nice restaurants and beach . Drifter cafe for coffee and breakfast. The pool is zen like. Stay here!
