Heart of Bali Villa

Exploring Heart of Bali Villa left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Heart of Bali Villa was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kecamatan Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Heart of Bali Villa painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

The villa was beautiful. Everthing was perfect. We lost our shirts and they found it and gave back to us. The only improvement they could do is to increase the capacity of the water heater as it was not enough to fill the bathtub

We enjoyed our stay! The hosts were very kind and responsive, the location was nice and peaceful as it was outside of the busy streets of Ubud.

we had a decent stay at this place. The staff is nice and helpful and Ketut is always responsive. The bath tub wasnt quite clean and there's not much to do around or go about nearby but that also makes this place peaceful and quiet. The garden with fish pond is specially very nice.

We had a very nice stay in this airbnb. It was very peaceful and quite. It takes about 15-20 minutes by car to Ubud centre but we did not have any trouble finding a taxi. Breakfast can be improved. Balinese massage and laundry service was great. Thank you for an excellent place

Absolutely loved the place. Super cute and very good for the price! Everything as it looks in the photos, and the fish were a cute touch. Only thing was there was not enough hot water to fill the tub they have. Besides that, 5-stars all around!

Peaceful, serene, wonderful villa. The staff were kind to us and always accommodating. A great place to stay if you want to enjoy full autonomy over your trip, having a place to decompress after long excursions, or simply if you want to have a place with full independence with a full kitchen, bath/bathtub, and pool always readily available. Our schedule was often a bit busy and we were in and out of the villa quite a bit, but it was nonetheless a wonderful experience for us and we appreciated the peace, clean bedroom and kitchen, and the massage amenities for both me and my partner. As with many places with natural surroundings, you’ll have to attend to a few insects — we did not have much issue except for a few strays little buggies — the netting around the bed solved this wonderfully, and we slept very soundly on the single night it occurred on our trip. I won’t be forgetting the hospitality and genuine kindness of the staff here and would love to stay here again in the future.

fantastic stay like a home

Our stay at Honeymoon Villa was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to accommodate us throughout our stay, including arranging a pickup from Denpasar airport to the villa, which made everything so smooth and stress-free. One of the highlights was being able to book an incredible massage right in our room — such a relaxing and memorable experience. The location was perfect as well. Ubud center and the Monkey Forest were both only about a 15-minute drive away, making it easy to explore while still enjoying a peaceful, private atmosphere. We stayed in the “Heart of Bali” room, and it was absolutely beautiful — truly exceeded our expectations. Every detail of the villa was stunning. Overall, an amazing place that we would 100% come back to. Highly recommend Honeymoon Villa to anyone looking for a special and relaxing stay in Bali.

My Wife and I loved our stay at the Honeymoon Green Villa. Note this name for when you tell grab drivers to drop you off so they can find it. Incredible property, charming villas, and wonderful hospitality is what they offer here. You can't go wrong with the location. About 25 minutes outside of downtown Ubud and so much more relaxing. Highly recommended.

She was warm, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Ubud and would return in a heartbeat. We spent 3 days in this beautiful villa, including Nyepi, and it was a really good time. It’s quiet and feels like a little paradise oasis. Spaces are big and clean, comfortable bed, and the possibility of cooking a meal. We definitely recommend it! Only thing you should be aware of is that it’s around 4km from Ubud’s center so you need to call a taxi or use a scooter if you want to go there :)

Our stay was absolutely marvelous! The villa is an absolute gem and we really could relax from the first minute when we arrived. 🥰 On the "downside" (only for some - we loved it!): There are quite a lot of noises coming from nature which can be heard in the villa because it's barely insulated. It was great for us but if you're used to complete silence at night, it could take a bit of time to get used to. 😉 All in all the surroundings of the villa are really quiet, you barely hear any traffic noises at all. :) We thank the entire team around Rini for the absolutely wonderful experience and your warm-heartedness!

Great little escape, the villa is extremely private and lovely. You have your own little koi pound and we had a little frog visitor as well. Would stay again, the pool area was our highlight.

Ein absoluter Traum! Unser Aufenthalt in der Honeymoon Green Villa war wunderschön. Schon beim Ankommen merkt man, wie viel Liebe zum Detail in allem steckt – von der Einrichtung über die kleinen Deko-Elemente bis hin zur wunderschönen Gartenanlage. Wir hatten einen privaten Pool, der perfekt zum Entspannen war, umgeben von tropischem Grün und total ruhig gelegen. Morgens wurde uns ein liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück serviert – frisch, lecker und mit viel Auswahl. Besonders schön fanden wir auch das Massageangebot direkt in der Villa – besser kann man nicht abschalten. Mit dem Taxi kommt man in wenigen Minuten ins Zentrum von Ubud, wo es viele Restaurants, Märkte und kleine Läden zu entdecken gibt. Trotzdem hat man in der Unterkunft das Gefühl, komplett abseits vom Trubel zu sein. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und unsere Auszeit hier sehr genossen. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die etwas Besonderes suchen und sich einfach mal fallen lassen wollen.

A truely beautiful place to be

This was a fabulous stay. The location was actually really good. This was my concern when booking. We hired scooters and it was 10-15 minutes to town one way and in the countryside the other way. Heaps of fun exploring. The place itself was magical and peaceful and so much detail in the villa and garden. Staff were fab! I hadn’t stayed in a villa in ubud before but will definitely stay here again. Fabulous place.

Die Unterkunft und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus und der Garten ist ein Kunstwerk , so viele wunderschöne Details. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nach Ubud waren es ca 20 min mit dem Roller . In der Nähe gibt es leider nicht so viele fussläufige Restaurants aber man gut per Grab Food bestellen, wenn man das möchte.

Words can’t describe how beautiful and peaceful this place was. Book it, you won’t regret it.

The Heart of Ubud Villa is perfect if you require complete privacy and zen vibes. It’s beautifully decorated and the cleanliness is top notch. The only problem we faced was the location, there was nothing much to do in the area and the traffic in Ubud was insane and thus took us 40-45 mins in the cab to reach the centre of Ubud. But, that’s not the fault of the villa. Overall, a great stay but only wish it was closer to things to do and little bit more central.

The villa was in a quiet area of Ubud but the access to the main area of Ubud was very easy. We used Grab and the driver arrived within 5 minutes and only took 15 min to the center of Ubud. The Villa was lovely and the environment was very relaxing. We didn’t want to leave! The host was also great. He was very accommodating and responsive! Highly recommend this place if you are staying in Ubud for a couple of days!

This listing was like a dream. The villa is very private and cozy. I felt comfortable and felt like it was the perfect getaway from home. Having my own private pool for my morning and night swim was amazing. It was so beautiful. The room was comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The host arranged my pick up and drop off with a private driver so getting to and from the airbnb was not a problem. I would definitely stay here again. The surroundings is so beautiful and being in nature was just perfect.

We had a great stay in the Heart of Bali villa! The staff was extremely kind and helpful to us. On our first day here, my husband had left his phone in the taxi we took to the property, and we had no way of contacting the driver (rookie mistake) to get him to come back with his phone. I was able to track it from my phone though, and one of the staff members, Wayan, was kind enough to offer to take my husband with him on his scooter (which I was thankful for because driving in Bali is nothing like driving where we are from) and try to catch up to the taxi! We ended up getting my husband’s phone back. While I was waiting for my husband’s safe return, I had no way of reaching out to make sure he was okay. He had been gone almost two hours and I was very worried, but one of the property investors had shown up and let me use his phone to call my husband and also informed Ketut of the situation. I was very thankful the staff was so kind, and the villa is absolutely beautiful! Just like pics.

Do yourself a favor and book this place immediately! This is honestly the most stunning little villa in Ubud. For people who want a more authentic Bali experience, it's the perfect choice. The staff were friendly and always available, the bed was so comfortable, and it is stocked with everything you need. It's in a great location, walkable or a short scooter ride to some amazing restaurants (Lembah Ayung Restaurant is a must, the views and food are incredible!). The lush courtyard, koi pond and the pool were all heavenly, and you can sense how much thought and love has gone into the entire villa. We were so relaxed the entire time, thank you!

We spent 5 days in Ubud in Ketut’s villa - it was cozy, much needed escape from busy NY for us. Communication was grey, Ketut even arranged a pick up and taxi for us from the airport, room was cleaned up daily , fresh towels, water etc We were able to have massages at home , stuff was friendly and very trustworthy Will definitely stay again

This property is as beautiful and peaceful as it looks on the listing. Very spacious, green, & well maintained. The pool is clean and enjoyable, although better to use only during daylight hours to avoid small insects surprising you! The koi ponds are a great touch to this place - made us feel very relaxed watching the fishes. The host was very responsive and helpful. We were received as soon as we arrived and had a very smooth check in and check out experience.

The place was nice and peaceful once you got into the villa. They had the water fountain over the koi pond and the pool which nicely drowned out the street noises - we only heard a car or so every now and again. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice and hot, the pool was incredible and very private with a courtyard door that you can lock. The separate outdoor kitchen was basic but allowed us to sit and eat looking into the nice courtyard. Food delivery was mostly from >30 minutes away though so the food did arrive cold. There was an option to order basic western breakfast as well which we did not do. The wifi was excellent too. Staff is shared staff for the Honeymoon villa and they helped us with our luggage over the cobble stone on arrival. Otherwise had minimal interaction with them throughout the day, but they were friendly when we did bump into them.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt, viele kleine Details die es zu entdecken gibt. Es fliegen Schmetterlinge vorbei , die Vögel zwitschern der Garten ist ein kleines Paradies. Der Wasserspender hilft Plastik zu vermeiden. Rini und ihr Team waren großartig. Es gibt 2-3 Restaurants die zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Nach Ubud fährt man ca 30 Minuten. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

We had a very relaxed stay in one of these quiet Pool Villas. If you want to avoid the hustle of ubud Centre but be very quick with one of the provided motorbikes for an average price in ubud, then this could be a good location for you. The staff was always helpful and never intrusive. Thanks to Indra and her team.

A very photogenic place, we couldn’t stop taking photos. Had all the amenities we needed. Location is about 15 min by scooter from central Ubud. Staff was on hand to help with breakfast orders, laundry and massage. We booked the Bali massage which was excellent. Wish we could have stayed for more than 2 days.

This was our favourite accommodation in Bali 🌴🥰 such a beautiful little sanctuary , we loved our villa it had such a lush surroundings of nature, birds and wildlife , a beautiful pond with coy fish to look upon, and the private pool was incredible! If we come back to Ubud we will stay here again. The staff were also extremely helpful and friendly. They helped us with laundry service. Also a great spot only 15 min on a motorbike to get into the town of Ubud. Thank you for having us 🙏🏼❤️

Wow, I mean this is luxury! What a special place, I had such a magical time here, so can't fault it whatsoever. It is expensive and for me maybe a bit too much for one night, but I guess that's what you get for the level of luxury! A Dream Stay in the Heart of Bali We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Heart of Bali Villa for 2 unforgettable days, and it exceeded all our expectations. The ambiance of the place is magical, truly capturing the essence of Bali's charm. The villa is exceptionally beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures on the listing—if not better in real life. The host, Ketut, was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. From arranging airport pickups to assisting with our every need, he made us feel so welcome. The staff were equally amazing—polite, attentive, and always ready to help. The villa itself felt like stepping into a fantasy world, with its stunning Balinese and Indonesian decor creating a perfect blend of traditional and modern aesthetics. Every corner is picture perfect. The highlight of our stay was the floating breakfast in the beautiful private swimming pool—a unique and memorable experience that we will cherish forever. I absolutely loved this listing. The privacy, the comfort and beauty were exactly what I was looking for. The private pool was fantastic. This place is an amazing oasis outside of the busy Ubud area. Beautiful gardens and authentic Balinese decorations. Staff was welcoming and friendly, always ready to assist with anything. Room had everything we needed even beers in the fridge for purchase. They helped us rent a scooter which is definitely recommended because the location is approximately 1 mile outside of ubud downtown area. Location is a little difficult to locate so I recommend you get a pickup through them from the airport

Where do I start? Out of the hustle and bustle of central Ubud, but a quick ride there or back. We had an extremely comfortable bed, the space was large, AC worked wonderfully, everyone was friendly, everything worked and was clean. Anything we asked for they responded immediately from asking for laundry to get washed to extra towels. We were spoiled for the entire week of our stay. I’d definitely return!

This was the most private garden oasis, the photos do not do it justice! Extremely clean and well maintained, the pool was so cold and refreshing, we had the best massages we have had yet in our room on our bed arranged by our host. I was able to make a nice breakfast for us in the outdoor kitchen provided, beautiful traditional villa. The shower alone leading down to river rocks was to write home about. We weren’t the biggest fans of downtown Ubud as it had so many people, this villa was worth making the journey and was such a peaceful private respite from the busy city around it.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa! The location is incredibly private, which we absolutely loved – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. The massage offered here was excellent and at a very affordable price, which was a great bonus. I honestly think the villa looks even better in person than in the photos. One of my favorite features was the rain shower with the stone floor. Although the villa is a bit outside of Ubud, everything is easily accessible by scooter (about 20 minutes but highly depends on the traffic). At the same time, the secluded location is a real advantage because it’s so wonderfully quiet. The only minor downside is that the pool isn’t heated, so it’s more suited for a quick cool down rather than long dips. But for a refreshing splash, it’s just perfect! All in all, a fantastic place that I highly recommend!

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans le logement et ce fut un vrai paradis. Indra nous a aidé pour le linge, le cordonnier, les breakfast , les massages a la maison et nous avait loué un scooter. Nous avions même des bières à disposition au frigo . A un quart d’ heure de la ville mais soit avec scooter, grab ou taxi , c’était facile d’accès . Les points forts sont la quiétude du lieu, la piscine à débordement est magnifique , la salle de bain , spacieuse et agréable et tout l’espace terrasse pour se poser, il y a beaucoup de recherche et de détails dans le logement , des statues, des éclairages, un petit chemin d’accès un peu insolite et superbement décoré, etc etc . On a commandé des breakfasts et la aussi , délicieux. Indra réagit dans la seconde pour nous aider et on se sent vraiment accueilli de façon personnelle comme tout bon airbnb.

Very nice and helpful when needed! All amenities and extras were provided. Only thing could be better is the outside bug issue but to be expected surrounded by trees, pool and pond. Bring bug spray if you plan to stay here otherwise perfect stay and perfect place!

We had an amazing stay at the Honeymoon Green villa! The value for money is exceptional considering the beautiful accommodations and amenities provided. Though the airbnb is a 10/15 mins taxi ride away from the main area of Ubud it was still incredible to have such a private villa with so much space. The staff were incredibly responsive and ensured our needs were met promptly. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Ubud.

This place looks just like the pictures, which exceeded my expectations. The location is fine, as we take Grab to other places anyway. Around 20mins drive to Ubud city centre. We tried the massage it offered right in our room which I truly enjoyed. The price was good too. The floating breakfast was very photographic as well, but I have to say the taste is just average. If you like to take lovely photos and post them online, it clearly is a good place to stay. We enjoyed it a lot!

The Villa was an absolute dream!! I couldn't believe how beautiful, clean, and private everything was! Looked exactly like the photos! Surprisingly also no bug problems either! They were so attentive and the floating breakfast was amazing! I've never had a better stay and can't wait to return again!!!

Spectacular villa with remarkable landscaping, a private pool and koi pond, and a beautiful suite with all the necessary amenities. The pictures seemed too good to be true but were completely accurate. While the location was a bit outside of Ubud, that allowed for much more privacy and quiet, which we preferred. Indra and Rini were terrific as well and went above and beyond in making this a comfortable and memorable stay.

This is the great private villa to spend quality time. The location is perfect in a peaceful environment. Feels like you're staying in the heart of nature. The pool is great and is available all the time. Overall this is perfect place to stay.

Once you enter the villa it’s a pristine place full of nature and nice cosy environment. It’s worth staying and enjoying the time in the villa.

this villa was gorgeous, everything was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. the food was amazing and they also organized an in room massage for my partner and I. the koi pond was a lovely touch and the pool was refreshing and pristine. it was freshwater too so no chlorine! the area had some lovely food places too that were walkable distance.

I had such an amazing time here, the place looks exactly like the photos! The swimming pool was very big and so much fun. The house had such a homey vibe and was a comfortable stay. I’ll definitely recommend this place to family and friends :)

An amazing place. You will feel like you are staying in a jungle but yet in the middle of everything. Everything was as described in the listing and this is a must visit for anyone who loves the outdoor and nature.

Everything was perfect! From the villa being exactly like pictures with a beautiful garden to the host being helpful and welcoming. It is located 15 minutes from the center of Ubud and is perfect to escape the energy of the city. We definitely recommend it!

The place is perfect for a romantic getaway. It offers total privacy but is at the same time part of a minor compound of other villas as well, so you feel very safe and secure. The place is peaceful and silent. You get the Bali-vibe with the interior and decoration, and the house is very clean. Cleaning is done every morning. Ubud is 10-20 minutes away, but also super easy to order food from outside and enjoy it on the terrace. My wife and I will definitely go again.

What a find, and it was a gem! Extremely welcoming and hospitable staff. True Balinese experience. Quite and peaceful, yet short cab ride to shopping and eating. Endroit magique. Le lieu est vraiment magnifique. Si vous désirez loger dans un lieu reculé avec une décoration balinaise authentique, c’est le lieu pour vous. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et très réactif en cas de besoin. Le lieu est un peu a l’écart du centre de Ubud, donc il faut se déplacer en scooter pour y accéder, mais ça vaut vraiment le coup tellement le lieu est magique.

Amazing place to base yourself in ubud. Out of the busy main area but close enough to everything. The staff were super helpful and organised a driver to get us from the boat port to the villa. The villa was beautiful, especially the pond with the beautiful koi fish and the lovely bath tub. Would definitely stay again and could not recommend it enough!

We loved our stay here for 3 nights. The house is magical. It had everything we needed, the pool & garden is stunning and private, and the bed is very comfy. We absolutely loved the details in the bathroom. It’s further away from the busy area (restaurants / bars/ markets) so you do need to get a car/ bike a few minutes to these areas. However, that was easy enough and allowed us to be situated in a quieter area. The staff are lovely and friendly, we really did feel like it was home for us. We would definitely come back.

gorgeous place for a romantic exotic stay, looks like an oasis! the garden is lush, with the Pont and the fishes, the countless plants and the pool that looks like a temple bath! the house is super beautiful, we loved all the decoration touches! great stay, super recommand!

This was the best accommodation!! I met Ketut once on my 2nd day, & he seemed very nice. Rini was my host throughout my stay (with the help of Indra). They both were amazing and so sweet. There were ceremonies on the street where rideshare would come, but the driver can always go around to a different entrance. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe my entire stay and I plan on returning & using this villa for all my future Ubud travels (if available). Everything is so private that you most likely won’t run into any of the other guests. The breakfast was not included price wise, but it was very cheap & delicious (along with their lunch/dinner menu). The fact that they offered meal options all day was great, even though each villa has it’s own private kitchen. The pool was really cold surprisingly, but I loved it still. The ac gets really cold, but you can manage it yourself. The water gets really hot & the pressure is great. The on-site massage was amazing! Everything was amazing!
