Hideout Jungle/River Villa @ VillaCellaBella

Exploring Hideout Jungle/River Villa @ VillaCellaBella left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Hideout Jungle/River Villa @ VillaCellaBella was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kabupaten Gianyar plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Hideout Jungle/River Villa @ VillaCellaBella painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Advantages: beautiful view, great breakfast, butler service, amazing outdoor bathtub. Disadvantages: doesn’t match the photos ( glassed-in bathroom without view: there is an elevator in front of it and if you are standing in the shower without the curtains closed, then everyone can clearly see you. One of the windows in the room is also curtained as it faces the elevator). Upon arrival in our room there were two jugs of “drinking” water on the lid of one of which there was black mold. Next to the pool, a technical hatch remained open all the time, into which one could fall through carelessness at night. Someone ordered breakfast for the communal infinity pool and the pool remained uncleaned from 10am to 16pm. Unfo, we didn’t have enough privacy. It’s more like a hotel villa, then private one. Overall, too ‘grammable place which is good for making photos, but if that’s not your priority and you don’t care about it, you’re likely be disappointed.

The atmosphere was surreal and in spot middle of jungle. Would recommend to stay at newer places at top of hill instead of bottom.

If you love jungle life this is the best place for you , be aware there will be bugs everywhere, you will have a nice view from the room and the pool side. Privacy is not 100% due the temple opposite to the villa . Getting there is easy as well as the check in is smoothly and very welcome from the staff members .

We booked this place for our honeymoon and I was a bit disappointed upon arrival to this place. Don’t have a very high expectations from the place by looking at the insta pics. The greet us very kindly with a drink and check-in was smooth and they took us to our river villa and they carry our luggage down for us. River villa was supposed to have a private pool which it wasn’t the case for most of the day as there are workers across the other side working and also using the free shower for the locals and they can clearly see you in your pool and your garden area. So don’t expect this to be private and also the pool has all sort of bugs/insects and leaves from the trees. The room at the river villa was very small. There was a bird pooh on the bed front seating area which suggested that there was a bird inside, When I told the staff they said it’s not bird, it’s a Gecko. Be prepared to fighting mosquitoes/insects/bugs/lizards while you are there and while showering as it is in the open. The garden room also we stayed in and the room itself was a bit better and cleaner but it has an open toilet and with no ventilation in the room, the room can get stuffy and you can’t leave room open as bugs will come in. The breakfast provided was by far the simplest breakfast I have ever had. Only 4 option to chose on the menu and taste wasn’t any better. Again for the price paid you would expect better.

Not worth the hype. You’re paying for the views, they are stunning there’s no doubt about it. Other than the infinity pool and photo worthy sky hammock, everything else was subpar. I really wanted to love this place, in fact it was the first thing we booked when planning our trip to Bali! The social media hype and price we paid definitely got my expectations high. This was the last place we stayed on our trip, and it left us missing our previous villas’ service, food and overall hospitality. It was a good stay but for the price, I’d expect top quality. Details like stained towels, conditioner pump being broken, slow or no response from butler service, mediocre breakfast, lack of privacy in the river suite (no separation between common area and private river villa) are all things I wasn’t expecting from a 5 star villa. Overall the views were great but the ambiance (business meetings held in pool area), service, food and rooms are just not worth the cost.

It was a very nice, clean and wonderful place, but the prices are high, especially for services that require payment, such as a car, which costs $99, and the food is a bit expensive, but it is a classy, ​​nice and clean place, and their service is excellent.

We ended up not staying in the original place we booked. Upon our arrival they upgraded us. We realized that what we had booked was just a room. The original room was very small and dark. It looks much bigger in the pictures. However, the location was amazing with a waterfall right out side our balcony. Also there is a extremely slow lift that you have to use to get to the place. The upgraded place was much nicer. It was also just a room but it was much bigger and better lit but no waterfall or river view :(. It also came with a slide from the room to the pool but its not usable. I scraped my arms and knees when I used it. The staff was very friendly. However, his prices for food are astronomical compared to rest of Bali. In another place we had a chef come and cook us food for the price of one of his dishes from the dinner menu. Besides that it was an amazing view and amazing time.

It was indeed very instagrammable place - we took beautiful pictures here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also good. However, the villa was a bit outdated with slightly sunken mattress and holes in the bed curtain. The restroom was outside as expected, but we saw interesting insects and animals. (a small snake, a toad, monkeys, etc.) Would recommend this place to those who like to take beautiful photos and love wildlife.

First of all, this Villa is a dream ... All the magic of Ubud is gathered there, concentrated ... One has the impression of being alone in the world in the middle of a luxuriant jungle with as only neighbors a 900 years old temple and all the nature inherent in a small valley lulled by the sound of the river and some small waterfalls whose gentle sound is only interrupted by the few animals living there and the villagers coming to wash in the sacred waters of the temple .... I was alone in this villa in the midst of the corona virus crisis and, unfortunately for them (the villagers) and for me, the inactivity of Bali made these baths very crowded throughout the day ... It was often quite embarrassing to attend the intimate toilet of an entire village, the only spectator of their intimacy, sometimes badly perceived ... The whole team of the Villa is like very often in Bali, absolutely adorable and of extreme goodwill .... The few oversights and errors of communication are immediately forgiven because it is impossible to remain upset for some details, even often repeated, when you have in front of you people so sweet and kind .... The meals are of extremely good quality, the cooker being a gem, despite a fairly simple menu ... but I stayed 10 days, which is not I imagine the case for most customers and that is certainly why the choice seemed to me often quite reduced ... and the prices of the "extras" are very reasonable. Which is not the case for the Villa itself ... The owner has repeatedly pointed out the "fabulous" discount that he made me’,due to the circumstances, but I looked at the rate in "normal" time and it seemed excessive to say the least despite the rarity of the place. The room itself, although small in size is nicely decorated in Balinese style but some details (dust under the bed, missing curtains, aging furniture ...) are a little disappointing but nothing more…For me, the real problem was the abundance day and night of mosquitoes and other red ants (sometimes even a few rats) which often prevent me from taking full advantage of the outdoors while there are treatments to limit this kind of "inconvenience". In addition, no insect control product was provided or offered to me and I had to buy everything myself, and in large quantities. For example, I am a smoker, and it was almost impossible for me to smoke outside from sunset until sunrise, and therefore, despite myself who never smokes in my room even at home, I often smoked at indoors at night until I get a burn in the duvet cover (and I'm sincerely sorry for that ...) For me the 2 real negatives are the fact that the toilets are in the outdoor bathroom (which earned me several bites in the most intimate parts of my anatomy ...) and the difficulty of the steps to climb to the upper villa (beautiful as well with incredible views of the river valley) which can be really rough especially in case of great heat .... But this stay was a real Ubudesque experience and I will only keep beautiful memories of it… I had to shorten my stay six days before the scheduled date for personal reasons due to the Covid-19 crisis, but, convinced by the owner of the place (also charming ...) I did not ask for a return of money ( almost a thousand euros) as I had the right by airbnb, but he promised me :))) to make me an excellent price when I come back with my family and / or my friends .... And I will not forget not this holy promise !!! Another thousand congratulations to Tarzan and all his team for taking care of me so well during this difficult period, you are all fantastic !!! MERCI !!!!! Sébastien.

Location, hospitality, and the pools are the best amenities. Would love to see some renovations to keep the villa looking new.

The villa cella bella has a stunning view of the jungle, an amazing shared infinity pool and very friendly staff to make your stay unforgettable! If you stay in the private Villa like I did, you have exclusive access to a private swimming pool, outdoor bathtub (for flower baths) and lounging net that overlooks the jungle. We had a great time staying at such a picturesque location!

There are no words to describe how perfect and special our time was at Villa Cella Bella. From the moment we arrived, it was like out of a dream. As good as all the photos and better. The staff was second to none, so lovely, friendly, and accommodating of all needs no matter the hour. We had some of the best massages of our lives. The river villa we stayed in, obvs I’m biased, but was the best. The flower tub was so beautiful and we have stunning pics that will last a lifetime. Truly couldn’t have asked for more. I know I’m not thinking of everything but, I can say without a shadow of doubt, that I will stay again and you are making a mistake if you pass on this very special place.

Anyone visiting Ubud should stay here Villa Cella Bella is absolutely stunning, staff were very attentive and accommodating and the views here are AMAZING! It was worth every dollar! 10/10 would highly recommend !

The location and the actual villa is as good as the pictures represent or even better! The staff at the Villa were absolutely wonderful and really made us feel right at home. However, I I think a little more thought could be spent on how guests would actually use the villa because there’s a lot of thought given into having the best scenic spots to take pictures but I think with a few improvements it could also be really tailored to those who are just coming to step away from work and take a breather. But overall can’t wait to go back and a massive thank you to the entire staff and Gusti for making it such a wonderful stay. Another positive was that you could use Grab to transport yourself to and from the villa and also have food delivered in case you wanted something that the staff could not provide.

A luxurious villa with breathtaking views over the river valley and a huge waterfall. We especially loved the panoramic bathtub view. Big thanks to Joni and the team for the amazing service always helpful, fast, and welcoming with a nice smile. The pool could use some repairs as the hard rocks hurt our legs, some walls were moldy, and we had two frog visitors in the room at night 😅 Overall, still a 5-star stay thanks to the stunning views and excellent service.

Amazing place, service , staff, view, experience! The gazebo dinner must be the highlight and the cinema in the room and being right by the waterfall . So relaxing. The staff are so responsive and attentive and caring! The food is amazing.Would stay again

We had am absolutely amazing weekend stay. The villa has breathtaking views, you could hardly see any other buildings from the villa and are completely surroubded by the jungle. It really felt like your own private jungle. The whole experience was amazing, its that sort of place, if you’ve never been to ubud, how you expect ubud to be like. The staff were also amazing and extremely accomodating. We will 100% come back here.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. A truly stunning place in real, lush jungle, right in the heart of Ubud. The villa is very comfortable, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped. Such a beautiful villa right in the forest. Noise of the waterfall right across. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, ready to help with anything. Not walking distance to any restaurants/markets/bars, a more isolated and private getaway with breathtaking views.

The villa we stayed at was beautiful and the views were great. We saw monkeys in the jungle several times which was a highlight! The staff was also a highlight. Transport to the airport and help getting us anywhere else we wanted to go, and recommending restaurants were super helpful. Our flower bath and massages were also amazing! We would definitely come back.

The river valley room is like staying in paradise. It is secluded and quiet. The private pool is spectacular. The bed is very comfortable, and the room is clean and well appointed with amenities. We had a fun visit by a frog in the bathroom - all part of the tropical experience. The staff were always on hand and ready to help with every request. The WiFi signal was strong and fast. The on-site food is a little pricey but recommend renting some scooters to easily get into Ubud town area. Thank you Villa Cella Bella team for an idyllic and restful visit.

We had an absolutely phenomenal time at Villa Cella Bella! From the moment we arrived the staff was so welcoming and accommodating. We took full advantage of everything this place had to offer - the floating breakfast, the romantic dinner, the infinity pool photoshoot - all while being immersed in such a beautiful setting. This was the perfect place for us to stay in Ubud and we were able to make wonderful memories on our honeymoon that will last a lifetime! Thank you!

The river villa is fantastic! But the best part is the service of all the employees of Villa Cella Bella. We communicate by text in a group chat and the response is instantaneous. You can order food, book a massage, book a tour or an activity, etc. We stayed 5 days and upon arrival we were greeted by the butler ( Kadek). She showed us the entire place and answered all of our questions. Later we met Dek Arik (another butler of Cella Bella) and we mentioned that we were interested in exploring all that Bali can offer. Without even asking he offered to put together an itinerary for us. The itinerary he created was on point! Our driver during our stay was Suka. He is amazing! We spent pretty much every single day with him. He drove us every day around the island. If you planning a visit soon, ask for Suka to be your driver in Bali and you can thank me later. Overall a 10 out of 10.

Hands down one of THE BEST air BnBs in Ubud. I would give 100 stars if I could. The staff, location, and food all exceeded my expectations and my expectations are pretty high. You legit can do flying dress, flower pool, drone photos, and flower breakfast all in one spot. It’s perfect.

The views speak for themself, the Owner has done a great job with his vision. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to stay at VCB. And if you’re here with your significant other, do the Romantic Candlelight Dinner, the cinema night, and if you’re lucky, do the VW convertible tour to Monkey Forest, Waterfall, and Bali swing. Sin duda recomiendo a Villa Cella Bella si buscas privacidad, trato personal, excelente servicio de parte del staff, servicio de a cuarto con comida y bebidas deliciosas. El anfitrión siempre esta pendiente de que que pases una buena estancia y de ayudarte con tours o actividades extras dentro del complejo. La calidad de instalaciones y la tranquilidad que ofrecen no tienen precio. La ubicación cerca del rio te da lo mejor de estar en la naturaleza, rodeado de vegetación y vida silvestre pero sin estar alejado de los restaurantes y otras areas turisticas. La River Villa esta en muy buen estado, aire acondicionado que funciona a la perfeccion, limpia, amplia y con bastante privacidad. Ideal para cualquier ocasión. Pasamos momentos muy agradables y estoy seguro que regresaremos pronto.

VCB staff went above and beyond for us our entire stay. They exceeded all of our expectations in communication, organization and flexibility. All the services were top notch! The food and Villa were all around amazing as well. Their private driver, Suka was so great and very knowledgeable about the area and what to visit while in Ubud and the area. We could not recommend staying at VCB enough for their exceptional staff, views and accommodations.

Villa Cella Bella was the best stay out of the four places we went in Bali. The staff makes it above and beyond. Whatever you need, they are there to assist promptly. The river villa is stunning, the food was fantastic, and we hope to be back again soon!

Amazing, amazing, amazing - the pictures speak for themselves! What the pictures cannot truly capture though is the essence of the staff at Villa Cella Bella (VCB is the property where this River Cliff Villa is located). The attention to detail is incredible, from the welcome drinks to the flower necklaces to the hand written notes of gratitude that were left on our bed each day, we felt like we were amongst family from day one. We even got to meet the owner of VCB and check out some of the new projects coming along on the property! And as if that hospitality alone is not enough, the food here is delicious!! Our meals and drinks were super fresh and brought down to the Villa for us each day, beautifully plated and cooked to perfection. Our only regret is that we booked a lot of outside excursions during our stay here, and I wish we had spent more time soaking up the common areas and the Villa. Darn, I guess we will just have to come back again! Thank you VCB for a perfect stay!

The villa was absolutely beautiful and exceeds any expectations you might have. We stayed in the jungle villa which was down near the river across from a water temple. There are a lot of steps to get here - but the villa is worth it! Plus with 4 pools at the resort, there was always somewhere to jump in and cool down. A side warning - there are a lot of influencers who come here for pictures, so a lot of the pools are often occupied for photoshoots. We even had drones flying over our villa multiple times filming, so if this bothers you maybe rethink staying here. There is all day breakfast, which was okay - but the lunch and dinner menu were much tastier (however you will need to pay for lunch and dinner menu). Although the place is breathtakingly beautiful, the staff really made the experience worth the while. Some of the most hardworking people we’ve ever met. Literally anything you need, they help make it happen. We climbed mount batur which means we were up at 2:00am to begin our drive. One of the staff members made sure to get up nice and early to prepare a to-go breakfast for us, which made us feel really special. They are truely incredible people. All around we had a wonderful time and would 100% come again!!!

If you're looking to have the best stay of your life - come here! It is a dream. I recommend the private river villa. 10/10 experience. The staff go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The food is incredible, especially the floating breakfast! The pools are lovely, bed comfortable, great AC, amazing showers, outdoor stone bath... and the most incredible views of a peaceful jungle with waterfalls and a river! The epitome of luxury, could not have asked for more!

Meeting the owner is also a privilege in itself - his passion and creativity is contagious. You will leave here with unbelievable photos, but ultimately it’s the inspiration, love, and soul that you’ll bring with you from Villa Cella Bella. If I enjoy a stay I will typically rate it 5 stars, but this is the rare exception where a stay should have the ability to be rated beyond 5 stars. It actually can’t be quantified. Our experience here was infinity / 5. Please stay here for the benefit of yourself and whoever you bring with you. You will not be disappointed.

The river room had amazing views and a great big private pool. All the staff were super kind, welcoming and helpful. As most places in Bali, you need to take some stairs to go into the room and leave but that adds to the experience. There were also some frogs around that mostly appeared at night.

A 10 min drive from Ubud center, this place is an absolute gem. We checked in with extremely friendly staff, walked down about 70 steps (can be a little tough in the mornings tbh) to our own private room with glass doors completely surrounded by the jungle. Absolutely beautiful backdrop. It had a hanging net over the jungle, it’s own private pool and tub and an outdoor bathroom as is normal in Bali. AC and wifi worked great which was nice There was also a WhatsApp chat with the staff where we could text them if wanted anything. They were very accommodating. Overall, while this Airbnb is expensive for Bali, I found it to be a tremendous value giving us a great and unique experience we have not had elsewhere

One of the best accommodations I have stayed in. The accommodation is located directly in the jungle with a view of a waterfall. We spent three nights there and would have liked to stay longer. I know this place looks good in pictures but it’s honestly better. We had such a relaxing time here, windows open at night with the sound of the river and rain. The villa is very private and the staff are really respectful (and follow COVID protocols). The stairs down are super steep and long but it’s worth it for the view of the valley and the holy water springs. 100% would stay here again and recommend to friends.

I found Villa Cella Bella through instagram and it was truly travel goals! I stayed at the isolated River Villa, as it suited my needs for privacy and keeping to myself as a solo traveler. The views, amenities, and degree of sheer luxury was truly magical - it delivered on all of the social media projected expectations and I couldn't be happier. The staff greeted me with a fragrant lei of fresh jasmine blossoms and a much needed coconut beverage. The hospitality continued to meet that initial standard of indulgence as there was an extensive food and services menu and a dedicated team that responded to all requests via Whatsapp immediately. I enjoyed a massage, a flower bath, and a photoshoot during my stay and all of my friends are still gawking at the experience I had at Villa Cella Bella. I hope to return! It was heaven on earth...

The River Villa was incredible! Stunning views, beautifully decorated, the extra unique touches of the outdoor bath and hammock just added to it's amazing vibe! Lots of extra amenities including a mini bar and lovely dressing gowns. The staff were so kind and attentive, ready to help you in whatever way they could. The included breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The only small thing to note is that the villa is opposite a water temple where a lot of locals go to shower so be warned that you'll see lots of naked bodies! I stayed at the River Villa, which overlooked an ancient prayer temple, and a beautiful waterfall which really made for a relaxing and spiritual stay. Everything was beyond 5 stars and I truly look forward to coming back. Many people asked if I was scared of being in Bali during the Corona Virus but theres wayyy less cases there than in the states right now, and there were not many tourists at attractions and no lines/waiting. The hosts made our trip absolutely unforgettable and I would highly recommend doing the flower bath or flower breakfast!.. If you like taking pictures, or sweet serenity, here is the spot!

Beautiful private villa. We enjoyed taking breakfast down there and swimming in the pool. There are many steps to get to the villa so if that is an issue for you I would not recommend this room. It is a few minutes out of town so take advantage of the scooters available for rent on the property to get around better. The food was good and it truly is a beautiful and relaxing space

This was probably our best Airbnb experience ever. The whole staff was amazing. From the welcome experience to the food, the couples massage, flower pool, and the driver Suka (great knowledge and local tips and tours, highly recommend). We will be back for sure!

I honestly can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay has been. They have thought of every little detail and the staff makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. Everyone is so kind and goes out of their way to help. Suka is amazing on a tour around some beautiful sights. Our stay was magical. We loved every minute!

We had a wonderful experience for our stay at the River Villa. If you read their description in full, everything is described perfectly! Make sure you’re ready to hike some stairs and be ready for some bugs - but this comes with the jungle! We were able to arrange transportation from our prior resort in Uluwatu to the villa through the Airbnb app which was very helpful. Upon arrival we were greeted with cold towels, fresh flowers, and coconut juice. The staff is so friendly and always willing to help. They use a a group message through WhatsApp for the butler service and are always prompt with response. We had a small issue with the electricity a few times but the staff kept in contact with us and resolved quickly. There are plenty of activities close by such as hiking, cooking classes, and ATVing. Also amazing restaurants within 15 minutes. Highly recommend if you’re looking to get off of a resort for a bit!

The staff are more than accommodating and look after you better than you look after yourself! The river villa was like living in a fantasy world and I had to pinch myself every morning as I watched the dragon flies and monkeys run wild! It’s an experience we will literally never forget! Where to begin? Villa Cella Bella exceeded our expectations in every way! My husband and I stayed in the private river villa during our honeymoon. The accommodations were outstanding and we enjoyed being surrounded by the lush, green jungle. The location is fabulous (just outside of Ubud) and provides privacy while also providing a close scoot or drive into town. The staff consistently went above and beyond. Suka was our driver and handled the majority of our transfers. Suka is a wonderful person with 20+ years experience. We really enjoyed our time getting to know him. Nina and Tarzan were phenomenal! My husband and I were sad to say goodbye to our new friends at the end of our stay. I’m eternally grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here and meet such genuine people!

One of the best and most welcoming staff work in this place. When we first arrived it was a but humid so we were greeted with cold face towels, juice and cute fresh flower necklaces. Smiles and friendly vibes were all that we got from the staff. We had a joint whatsap where we communicated and they responded really quick. The place is much better than the photos and the river villa is another world of its own. Thank you Villa Cella Bella staff for making this an amazing stay for us.

We stayed at the River Villa, upon arriving in Bali our driver Komang had a sign welcoming us! Met up with him and he helped us quickly navigate through the busy crowd to the car. Had a cold towel and cold water waiting for us! THANKFULLY, the heat was brutal and we came from Texas. Was about 1.5-2hrs to the villa, but once at the location our stuff was unloaded for us! We were greeted by staff and Rah Tut with some wonderful smelling Lei’s and some fresh coconut water, along with the refreshing cold towels (these were clutch everytime). Once finished our luggage was carried down the somewhat daunting stairs to our villa! Although somewhat tasking the view of the valley down to the river in the jungle was beautiful and made the stairs that much more tolerable! Our villa was awesome with its own private pool which we enjoyed plenty. Water and sodas in mini fridge, full menu to order from which we did a few times based off convenience. Everything was pretty tasty! Breakfast was included and always came with some fresh juice and fresh cut fruit! The smoothie bowl was definitely the highlight! For the price this place is hard to beat! Staff was super friendly and attentive and helped with any needs, even when the driver on site was busy for day, they helped source a 3rd party driver who was wonderful as well. One disclaimer is you can’t walk to a ton so be prepared to get driver or scooter, oh also as read in others reviews the locals across the way do bathe nude but hey it’s part of it and definitely isn’t a distraction! Truly enjoyed our stay here, and the staff made it that much better!

We had our honeymoon here at the river suite for about 4 nights.. the staff was always so kind and helpful. My experience here was amazing, waking up to the views and your little own pool was my favourite part. The only thing is, the river suite isn’t suitable for older people with knee problems as it is a pretty far walk to go upstairs however we didn’t mind the walk because it was our little own work out everyday :)

Our 3 night stay couldn’t have been better! We stayed in the private river villa & the staff went above and beyond for us! They even packed us fruit for our journey to Canggu when we checked out. Would highly recommend this place! It’s stunning and a good quiet place to relax.

What a surreal experience. The staff were the best we’ve had in our two week honeymoon in Bali so far! They were always quick to respond to our texts. Had complimentary taxi service in the Ubud area, which we utilized everyday. Their flower arrangement for our pool was incredible and perfect for our “trash the dress” honeymoon photo shoot. They really went above and beyond for our experience. They’re very thoughtful in their touches with our honeymoon experience. Cella was fantastic throughout our process and arrival. Our stay at Villa Cella Bella was wonderful. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the food was amazing. And the accommodations were superb. We barely left the property! It was the perfect start to our Bali adventure.

This was incredible! We stayed at the River Villa. This was a unique experience! Hospitality and accomodation was above expectation. Only thing we expected different was the bathing temple across the valley. Was very busy with bathing men and women, so you might feel ‘watched’. We took a flower bath, floating breakfast and candlelight diner. All of which was perfect! The candlelight diner really finished the evening.

The view was amazing and the service was great. They really try to make it so you don’t need to lift a finger. We spent 4 nights of our honeymoon at the river villa, and we could not have been happier. It was a highlight of our trip for sure.

We had the most amazing honeymoon at Cella Bella! From the wonderful pool to the gorgeous flower bath they set up for us, the massages poolside and all the transfers into town, we couldn’t possible have enjoyed our stay more!! The staff was so kind and we felt like we were in true Bali paradise.

WOW! So first we stayed at the luxe suite which has the best views in any suite but we thought it was small. So we wanted to check out the private river villa and are we glad we ever did. It’s spacious, extremely private, your own hammock and pool which is beautiful. You have an amazing oversized bathtub elevated, separated from your room over looking the jungle. It has a half indoor/outdoor stand up shower which was great as our other suite did not. We stayed at two other villas in Bali and the staff at cella Bella was the most helpful and accommodating on our trip. The free breakfast in the morning is delicious. Only negatives has to be the road that leads to the villa, which is bumpy and pitch black @ night and those stairs that lead you to your suite. They were pretty brutal going up and down but I will say once you get down to the suite it’s so worth it! Thanks to the cella Bella for another amazing stay!

This place is nothing short of spectacular! Sweeping gorgeous views of the river / waterfalls below. the villa is very private with a beautiful pool, private hammock, outdoor tub, and lounge seating. The staff are incredible and very accommodating to our itinerary and are excellent and anticipating our needs. They were extremely easy to coordinate with and had excellent communication leading up to our stay. Food is delicious too!! We even coordinated a flower pool in our private pool for our honeymoon photoshoot which was so so beautiful!!! Love this place, it’s our favorite airbnb of all time and we have stayed in over 75 around the world - do not hesitate to book!

What can I say? The perfect way to spend our first days in Bali for our honeymoon! The serenity found in this villa, whether it be in the super private river villa we stayed in or any of the other rooms found at the main house. Staff was on point in helping us with everything we needed and greeted us with fresh glasses of water every time we walked up the steps (many steps!) from our Villa or through the doors from a day out. Breakfast every morning was some of the most memorable moments. The food, the view and the staff delivery was on point! Location was awesome! Feel like you're in the tropical forest over a river and waterfalls but Ubud central is a 5 minute scooter /car ride away. There is a local water temple across the canyon and in view of you. The locals bathe and wash their clothes throughout the day, mostly in the nude. Far enough away to pay no mind but close enough to see what's up. We had no issues with privacy at all so don't be concerned or taken by surprise. Some things to note: - the "butler" service is more like a concierge. They'll set up trips, rides, scooter rentals, food delivery, etc at additional costs. - the river villa is extremely private, but down a long set of steps. The villa itself is a room, restroom, outdoor tub, pool and deck. The kitchen and living area are part of the main house up the steps. - the villa is up a dirt road off the main road and pretty difficult to find

Great views of the valley and river. There is a water temple across the way that locals bathe at so you'll need to be ok with naked bodies. We did not mind so it did not bother us at all. The staff was very nice and greeted us with a cold towel every time we saw them. The room is nice with a great patio and pool. Going from the villa to the main house there is a bit of stairs so if you have any injury this could be difficult. Overall good stay.

The Villa is worth every penny. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The staff were beyond friendly and more than accommodating. Would highly recommend for couples seeking a private getaway.

We were extremely fortunate to stay at such a beautiful & luxurious villa, which is a must if you are looking to stay in Ubud! We could not have asked for a better way to spend our short stay there, than with their incredible, private facilities with such attentive & caring staff! The whole villa was the perfect setting for my proposal and everyone went beyond what was expected of them, to make it such a magical time for my fiancé & I! Our host was very responsive, which made my planning so much easier. The amazing views are something we will never forget.

10/10 recommend! The villa was absolutely awe inspiring & the staff was wonderful! Widia, our Butler, was fantastic and anticipated our every need! Suka, our driver, was also very accommodating. The breakfast included was always delicious and we were amazed to be able to see some monkeys playing right across from our balcony where we would eat in the mornings. If you want a modern, clean, and comfortable villa with unmatched hospitality and breathtaking views then this is definitely the place for you!

The River Villa at Cella Bella is absolutely amazing. As the pictures show, you are completely immersed in the jungle & can hear the bubbling river below. In a world that's rapidly depleting in creatures, it's wonderful to see butterflies, bees & lizards around us. We loved the complete privacy of the villa. Well, almost ...... across the other side of the river, is a temple & bathing site for the local Balinese but it was never an issue & we actually enjoyed seeing local life & rituals. The hospitality of the staff is exceptional, especially Princess, who is always there to make sure you are comfortable & that everything goes smoothly. Would love to come back to this slice of Paradise one day.

We had booked two nights in the private river villa and 4 nights in the garden suit in villa cella Bella. We had seen the Instagram pictures and videos and expected a lovely place to stay but we were shocked from the moment we walked through the entrance door of the view that greeted us. This villa is beautiful as soon as you walk in the view is spectacular feeling fully submerged in the jungle. We were greeted with a flower necklace and coconut and shown around the villa. The private river villa is down around 100 stairs and away from the main villa giving you privacy in the jungle. The new bath tub on the higher balcony was amazing and we loved using this and the pool was lovely. We had great views including a waterfall which you could see from the bedroom. The room was clean and we had lots of space for our luggage which included a double wardrobe and had an iron and steamer. We were also given WhatsApp details of Princess who was our host and if we ever needed anything we just Used the app to contact her which was a lovely touch. Over all their hospitality at the villa was great and we would definitely return one day :)

Villa Cella Bella was the most beautiful place to stay. The river villa is totally private in the middle of a very busy town. You have your own place in the middle of the jungle. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. That being said, remember you are in a jungle-like area so you will encounter spiders, ants, lizards, etc. As this is to be expected, my husband and I didn’t think about it until we got there! Our host, Princess, was extremely attentive to our needs and helped in every possible way. She was so kind. We communicated through WhatsApp and received everything we asked for. Villa Cella Bella overdelivered on all fronts. Not only was the private river villa incredibly beautiful and well kept, it actually felt so homey to be in. We were always greeted with cool towels, ice water and a tidy room whenever we returned after a day of exploring. Definitely eat at least one meal at the villa. Breakfast here is AMAZING. My boyfriend and I both agreed that it was in the top three ranking of best mi gorengs we’ve had in our experiences so far in Bali, so huge props to the chefs. They also bring down breakfast to your private dining deck if you request it so you can enjoy a meal with a riverfront view. The floating breakfast that they offer is also fun and you can choose an assortment of things to have. It’s not too costly and worth it to do at least once for the experience. Lastly, I can’t express my gratitude to the staff on premise enough who took care of all of our needs and always went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. When we ran into issues with our flights, they brought down a personal phone for us to use to call the airline office in Bali. When that phone died on us, they happily brought down a second one. The best part about this villa is the dedicated staff that run it. Their hospitality and willingness to help is unmatched! Thank you so much for the best stay, Villa Cella Bella Team! I can’t wait to come back someday.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Cella Bella, impeccable service especially Princess! She took such great care of us and is a total asset to the team. We were in the most beautiful, serene spot. This villa has the most incredible and lush views of the jungle! I came here for 3 nights and stayed in both the luxe suite and river suite and both were absolutely beautiful. The river suite is private and serene if you’re looking to truly get away. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating and the food was amazing, the best I had on my whole trip! I also enjoyed a flower bath and the best massage I had in all of Bali. This villa will not disappoint!! We plan to go again for our extended honeymoon and 1 year anniversary!

This place is something out of a dream! My driver was on time and took me directly there from airport. Upon arrival, my jaw dropped! The scenery alone had me sold...and the staff was impeccable! Tarzan was extremely helpful and communicative along with the rest of the staff. I couldn’t have asked for anything more and cannot wait to return! These people are officially family ☺️

This villa is an absolutely dream !! We stayed here for our honeymoon and this is such a beautiful romantic villa we couldn’t of asked for more !! Princess was our host and took care of us from beginning to end any questions we had was answered very quickly and she helped us with any thing we asked for ... the whole staff is very professional and kind !! Where do I begin? This place is GORGEOUS from the moment you walk in. The incredible team of professional employees was there to greet you with cold towels, water and a lei to put around your neck. We stayed in the private villa for 5 incredible nights and never wanted to leave. The jungle views are indescribable, the private pool stunning, and the shared pool provided the most incredible backdrop for tons of Instagram pics. Perhaps the best part of the stay was having Princess as our private butler during the entirety of our stay. She was there for everything and anything we needed and was incredible warm, friendly and professional. She is the BEST! Thank you for everything and we will be recommending to everyone planning to stay in the Ubud area. We miss you already!

The staff takes pride in making guests feel comfortable and cared for. We found so much joy in just chatting with Princess, Suka and Tarzan but everyone there was just amazing. Pictures do not even do this villa justice - it’s something you have to see to believe and when you do, make it a point to take in every single minute. My husband and I stayed here for our honey moon- highly recommend. The location was perfectly out of town- right in the jungle! Very romantic and relaxing. The perfect please if you appreciate the nature. You're really into it ! If you have the opportunity to have the jungle villa, it's perfect for having your own privacy. Be aware of the many stairs but the staff is always here to help. We really appreciate Princess who was helpful and cute. You can rent a scooter there which is really necessary due to the traffic jam and to have access to the villa.

HONEYMOON PARADISE. Seriously...don't look any further. This place was amazing. We stayed at the River Villa which was completely private and so unbelievably peaceful. The only reason we left the villa was to sight see a bit but other than that is so relaxing that you don't ever want to leave. I must say that the staff is incredible. This villa was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Since the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted so warmly with coconut water and a Lay. Every time we entered or exited, they had a cold towel and water ready for us. The small details of service truly made this place stand out. Our hostess Jasmine and Monae were awesome! They were on top of everything and made sure we were always taken care of. You won’t get this kind of service at a hotel. The views from our Villa were out of this world, we got so many great pictures lol. Oh and the food was great. A little bit more pricey then if you were to eat at a local restaurant but it’s to be expected since you have your own chef and they bring the food to you (what other Air Bnb does that). Overall this stay is worth the money and if the dates are available, I suggest you book right away!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Cella responds immediately and had a driver waiting for me at the airport. Very easy to find and great service/communication. I arrived at night alone and it is definitely in the jungle but I was greeted by host and escorted to room. I felt very comfortable and safe. My butler Tarzan was so accurate and attentive in getting done whatever I needed. Awesome clean Space and private pool. Hearing the river is so calming. Amazing view. Serene and would recommend anyone who visits Bali to stay here.

While we planned the trip, bouncing between a few airbnb’s, we had no idea what was in store for us during our stay at the Villa in Ubud. We thought we were paying for a relaxing pool stay with a gorgeous view in the private villa, but it ended up being so much more. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the Villa staff and introduced to the amazing woman we would later come to know as “Princess,” our personal butler, who ensured flawless coordination with us during our entire stay. While these pleasantries happened our bags were magically whisked away down 103 stairs to the stunning private villa where we would be unknowingly catered to for the next 4 nights and 5 days. Each morning a delicious breakfast was served at our choice of time and order, the grounds were freshly rid of leaves, and anytime we left the villa a full cleaning service was provided with fresh towels and linens. The owner clearly has a goal of providing excellent service and definitely knocked it out of the park with this experience. Without a doubt worth the look and you will not be disappointed if you decide to stay.

Thank you for a fabulous stay! Location is beautiful and serene. The view of the local village, and everyday Balinese life was an added bonus. And the staff !! I can’t say enough about Tarzan and all of the things he arranged! The chef, the massages!! All wonderful! Sakusme!

Beautiful location and the hosts are so reachable all the time. We stayed in the beautiful river villa which is around 100 steps down from the main common area with infinity pool. We loved our time in the villa and Alex went out of the way to help us with all the arrangements.

No words can actually be used to fully describe the experience we had with our stay at cella Bella. Upon arrival, the villa absolutely fulfilled all expectations and beyond. The service was incredible with every single staff that was working was always there to help us when we needed it and even when we didn’t. Having our own private butler that was there for our every need like transport, food and more, was a feeling like no other. We had the privilege to stay at the river villa, which was absolutely perfect. It showcased the amazing views of what ubud has to offer and more. As the river villa is located at the bottom, to reach the main exit we had to climb a flight of stairs. However, all staff prepared cold towels and a glass of water for us, to beat the heat when we reached the top. Furthermore, the food provided in conjunction with the service was amazing. We got to try both the breakfast and dinner from their menu, which was made and delivered down to our villa. Staying with villa cella Bella, was most definitely the highlight of our trip and outdid all our expectations in every way possible. There was absolutely no fault, nor any recommendation that we could possibly think of to make the stay any better. If your planning on staying, don’t make the mistake of staying 2 nights like us, stay for longer, it’s totally worth it!

A truly exquisite experience! Nothing short of luxurious, something you’ll just never forget once you walk through those villa doors. Picturesque beyond belief, every need catered for, staff are just devine to deal with, so friendly , polite and genuine. Food is delicious. I hope to stay again very soon. What a dream.

It was lovely moment at villacellabella, It was clean, real instaworthy place. Room was clean and well furnished definitely worth the price. 한국인 후기가 없어서 후기 남겨봅니다! 1. 위치 처음에 왕궁 근처로 표시되서 너무 예쁘고 좋은데 위치까지 괜찮네! 하고 예약했다가 조금 놀랐어요 몽키 포레스트보다 훨씬 밑이고 좀 심하게 외진곳에 있습니다. 택시들도 잘 안가려고 하고요 이동할때 최소 20분 잡으셔야 해요! 숙소로 초입 5분정도(차로) 자갈 밭이에요! 고젝으로 음식 시킬 수 있어요 드라이버들에게 거절 몇번 당하긴 했지만! 너무 외진곳이라서 한번 들어가실때 단단히 준비해가셔야합니다 2. 숙소 1) 서비스: 최상이였어요 매번 숙소로 돌아올때, 나갈때 시원한 물과 물수건 준비해주셨습니다. 숙소가 자체가 외진데 이 방은 계단을 거의 150개 정도 내려가야 있는 곳이라서 서비스 제공 자체가 쉽지 않은데 짐도 다 들어주시고, 필요한 사항 있을때마다 빠른 응대 해주셨어요 2) 룸 위에있는 빌라와 다르게 개인적으로 이용할 수 있는 풀과 정자?가 두개 있습니다. 우붓 자체가 모기와 벌레가 좀 많은 지역이라 따로 모기 퇴치기, 선크림 등을 선베드 옆에 구비해주셔서 잘 이용 했습니다 세심한 서비스였어요 방 자체에 에어컨, 인터넷 잘 되었고 화장실도 깔끔했습니다. 아 그리고 제일 중요한것! 숙소 건너편에 사원이 있더라구요? 그런데 거기서 현지분들이 샤워를 하시네요? 정말 안본눈 사고싶었어요 ㅜ 숙소 딱 정면이 남자분들 샤워실이셔서 저희도 좋은 뷰 아침나절에 즐기다가 9시 이후에는 커텐으로 가리고 이용했습니다. 계속 건너편에 사람 샤워하는지 안하는지 확인해야했어요 ㅜㅜ 이점은 어디에도 안적혀있을것 같아서요 이상 선택에 도움되시길 바랍니다.!

Lovely stay at Villa Cella Bella, everyone was very welcoming, prompt and accommodating! Being in the more private room by the river was nice as although could use shared areas such as the infinity pool, having our own private area was more our holiday style! Breakfast was an unexpected but nice surprise, the omelette was yummy!

We loved our stay in the River Villa during our Honeymoon to Bali. It was a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. From the moment we arrived, we received a beautiful handmade flower necklace and fresh coconut. The villa overlooks a beautiful waterfall, river, and valley. We loved spending time relaxing by the private pool. The staff is what made this place exceptional. Tarzan was our butler, and we would communicate with him anything that we needed or if we wanted to go anywhere- he would then arrange a driver. We enjoyed exploring with the driver, Made, who took us to waterfalls, local villages to shop, an elephant park, and into the center of Ubud. We learned a lot about the local culture and traditions from him. We also enjoyed having breakfast delivered and set up on the porch of the villa. We became fast friends with the owners, Marcella and Alex. They catered to our every need and question and we ended up talking to them for hours. This is truly a special place, and we highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Ubud or Bali!

This is the kinda of place I guarantee you will want to extend your stay. This is my 6th trip to Ubud Bali, and I have never stayed in a place as amazing at Cella Bellas. We spent a week in the river villa in January 2019, and we will be back! The river villa is spectacular. Private pool overlooking the jungle, river and a 1000 year old sacred water temple built into the side of the mountain. Nothing is too much to ask for Cella and her staff. Did I mention you have a private butler?! I’m allergic to gluten, and they made delicious gluten free pancakes for me every morning (and had them delivered to our balcony overlooking the jungle). Your butler and his team is on stand by for what ever you might need. They’ve thought of everything, travel adapters, sunscreen and bug spray. It’s all those little details that make your time here so relaxing. There are no cons to this place, a few things to be mindful of is that you’re literally in the jungle, so expect bugs (but as I said they give you bug spray and just keep your fly screen closed), the river villa curtains don’t block out much light so bring an eye mask if you’re like me and need block out to sleep, and there are a few steps up and back to the villa. But I promise you the few steps are worth it. I can not recommend this place more highly. It needs more than 5 stars!

This was my second trip to Ubud, and I knew I had to return back to Villa Cella Bella. The magic and beauty of the place only gets better and better. While here, it is tempting to stay in ALL day at the villa, since you have the spectacular view, the insta worthy pool and hammock to chill out in, and the amazing staff to help you with all your needs. BUT, when you want to venture out and take a tour or go sightseeing, their driver Made, is ready for you and makes the trip absolutely amazing. He takes you to all the best spots, and is the sweetest human I think I may know. He is a wealth of knowledge and made our trip even more special. I cannot recommend enough!

My wife and I stayed at the River Villa and had the best experience. We came to Bali for our honeymoon and stayed at the villa for a couple days. Cella and Alex went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We had private drivers, Butler, massage therapist, service staff, etc. it’s honestly hard to describe, you just have to experience it yourself. The views are breathtaking especially if you enjoy having the entire jungle to yourself. They helped me surprise my wife with a floating breakfast and a flower pool! My wife was at a loss for words and that meant the world to me. Truly a memorable experience and I’m glad I left my UBUD trip in the hands of this villa. We will be back soon! Thanks again!

Let me just start off with the view. Absolutely breathtaking. We spent two nights in the river and - waking to the sight of trees spanning from cliff to cliff, complimenting the sounds of a running river stream MUST be experienced in your life. A truly empyreal sight. When we first arrived, Cella greeted us, (I had no idea she was the host I thought she was a guest as to how kind she was) Cella then provided us with beautiful real leis that smelt amazing, with a scented hand towel carefully rolled up which is exactly what we needed! She then made the effort of walking us to our private villa and carefully explained & made sure we were 110% satisfied. Cella and Alex really do provide a level of hospitality I have never experienced. Our private river view villa - The rooms were spotless, spacious and exquisite. I absolutely loved the bed curtain decor, the walk in robe and the infinity shower, we were surpised that there was an included bluetooth speaker and a charging station too (I know i've forgotten my adaptor before) The sky bed and the infinity pool - I have no words. THE perfect location for snapping those Instagram pics (it's literally unreal) and I even asked a member of the staff to take a picture of me and my girlfriend. (It's as if she was trained to take photos they were exactly what I had in mind - as a photographer, composition, angle and everything can be the difference between a good or great photo, and I got some darn great photo's taken of us. The staff - very well mannered, advanced english, and the chef is a magician because every meal was delicious. Our first impression minus the exceptional hospitality and view - beautiful design, antique decors, cleanliness and an overall first-class experience, I wish I didn't have to leave. Me and my girlfriend agree that this is best place we have been in our life, we were extremely lucky to get two nights off someone elses cancellation (as it's fully booked for the next few months! Alex and Cella know how to treat their guests, this place is now tops the list of my recommendations in Bali, and I only have a handful.

This magical place is a literal home away from home. I stayed at Villa Cella Bella not once but twice while in Bali (had to come back), and you truly won’t have another Airbnb experience elsewhere. The hosts, Alex and Cella are like family and I felt like I was staying at a family’s house my entire visit. They’re the best hosts - from the special coconuts to a floating breakfast in the pool, they have it all. The villa itself has everything you could ever want - the most comfortable beds, Bluetooth speaker, robes, fastest internet in Bali, and your own private pool overlooking the jungle. The jungle villa itself is very private, but with all the amenities and conveniences of the main house, from a butler and chef to your own driver. You’re never going to want to leave, so be sure to book multiple nights at this magical place 💙🥥

Be prepared to be amazed. This is exactly where my fantasies about Ubud became reality. What you can't see from the photos is how hospitable and welcoming Cella and Alex well make you feel. It's "the chic-est, most instgram-able boutique hotel with a homestay feel" - eh Alex?

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Villa Cella Bella. We were specifically looking for a private villa with a private pool and this place exceeded all our expectations. It was definitely perfect for our honeymoon! We had beautiful views of both the river and the jungle and had a private oasis all to ourselves. Everything about this Villa looked amazing and it made us feel like we were really in Bali! The villa itself is clean, spacious, well furnished and maintained. The pictures doesn’t really do much justice because this place is much more beautiful in person. We truly enjoyed our stay at Villa Cella had such a relaxing time. Cella and Alex are great and have been very responsive from the moment we inquired about this place. Their staff - Tarzan, Princess & Wayan - also continued to show us great hospitality throughout our stay. Our butler Tarzan was easily accessible and he gladly accommodated all our requests. We stayed here for 5 nights but wished we could have stayed longer because this place is truly beautiful and they also had such great service. We would love to come back soon! :)

In one word: WOW! I have had a fantastic, amazing, more than words can say time at the river villa. My number one wish for this holiday was to find a prefect jungle hideaway, immerse myself in nature and draw energy from it. The moment I put feet on the deck/terrace down at the river villa, the view took my breath away: it was all I wished for and more. Imagine delightful sound of waterfalls, river flowing right below, vivid green, birds and the ever present frangipani flower smell exclusively for you to enjoy and with all the privacy on earth as it you and you only at the river villa level. Unbelievable that Ubud center is only minutes (drive) away! Cella & Alex have been outstanding hosts and devoted to make my stay as wonderful as possible from the get go, even before my arrival taking ample time to explain about the villa and surroundings. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised with fresh coconut and pink frangipani necklace and I was introduced to staff who since day one have been most accommodating and kind team taking care of my needs (what a service!). The villa itself is lovely too, well furnished, with big and comfortable bed, big mirrors. TONS of closet space, plenty of towels, not one but two fridges for private use (perfect for anyone planning a longer stay). Every night I could keep both sliding doors open thanks to the mosquito net screens and enjoy the jungle sounds throughout my sleep. Mornings were spent relaxing on the balcony, at the table where my breakfasts were served. To be perfectly honest, I thought I’d be out most of the time, but this jungle villa is such a relaxing and at the same time stimulating place, it made me take it real slow this time, exactly what I needed. I really don’t want to repeat myself but the villa, the nature and the service truly surpassed my expectations and are not 5 but a 6 start rating. Thank you Cella and Alex!!

Absolutely breath taking!! These pics do no justice. We were welcomed by Cella and her staff with leis, cool wash cloths and fresh coconut water. The staff was truly amazing (Princess and Tarzan) they took care of our every need, from ordering out dinner to making a delicious early breakfast before we checked out. This is definitely a great honeymoon spot for anyone that is interested. The bathroom is open to the outside, (blinds provided if you are modest), so remember to turn the lights off when not in use because it will attract bugs from the rain forest--->which will attract bats (speaking from experience). The staff came to our rescue in the middle of the night and Cella even came to check on us, which we really appreciated. I love loved my experience at Villa Cella Bella, I highly recommend it, and I would definitely be staying there again in the future.

STOP READING AND BOOK THIS AIRBNB ! - NOW lol but seriously you will not regret it. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with 5 star service. The host are so amazing and sweet you will never want to leave. We stayed in the private oasis and I kid you not it was like the fantasy suite on the bachelor I was waiting for Chris Harrison to pop out. You walk down these charming steps to a private villa immersed in the jungle. We found the sounds of the waterfall and the jungle very soothing. The staff is very tentative with whatever you need, breakfast was delicious. We ate out in Ubud for dinner at some restaurants Cella recommended and the food was incredible. The villa location isn’t walkable but it’s a short ride 100,000 - 150,000 rpi ( like $6 USD ) to the city center. If you want to order food / wine you can and never leave ( I don’t blame you ). They will organize taxis. We didn’t need anything shower was very clean with soaps/conditioner etc. towels provided. WiFi super fast if your mixing business with pleasure. This place is great for new comers to Ubud or if you’ve visited 100 times. We only stayed 2 nights but we cleared our last morning to just stay and relax at the villa. 10/10 like I said book this place. We will return. Xoxo.

Als je even wilt genieten in een infinity pool met een 180° view over een jungle. Dan moet je hier echt gaat zitten. Uitzicht is magisch, de staff is perfect. Al met al, hier kun je ultiem tot rust komen maar ernaast ook ubud verkennen.

We knew this place would hold a special place in our hearts as soon as we checked in. We were immediately greeted with a warm welcome, open arms, a cold coconut & beautiful flowers. The views were unreal...we had to pinch ourselves several times while we were there. It was impossible to unhappy at Cella Bella. The staff were beyond a 5 star service and made sure we had everything we needed at all times and fell in love with their culture and city. We can say anything negative about our experience here! The beds were amazing, the rooms were decorated to perfection, breakfast was our favorite meal of the day, and don’t even get me started talking about the views! We stayed in the river villa and all I can say is WOW! Everyday we were shocked by the jungle vibes and it’s untouched beauty. It felt like we were living the life of the rich and famous. Being in the river villa made us feel like we were in a secluded oasis with all the comforts of home (amazing private pool and yoga studio included). We already can’t wait for our next stay!

Simply incredible spot to stay in Ubud. Check in was so quick and easy, our bags were delivered straight to our room. Alex, Marcella and their staff are so warm and welcoming. “Made” the driver is a legend and will show you all the good spots and give you great recommendations to tailor your holiday activities. While “Ketut” the Butler and his team will cook you the perfect breakfast, coffee and mango lassie with a tropical jungle view. All villas are super clean and trendy. The bed is better than home. I can’t recommend staying here in Villa Cella Bella enough, we had an amazing stay here amongst the nature by the river. It’s the perfect distance away from town to have a relaxing time and still being close enough to town and all surrounding activities. You have to book this place!!
