Exploring Hills and Pool View Cozy Deluxe Room left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Hills and Pool View Cozy Deluxe Room was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Sidemen plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Hills and Pool View Cozy Deluxe Room painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
Schön Unterkunft mit tollem Pool. Bad unter freiem Himmel ist nicht in jedem Zimmer verfügbar. Fön ist mittlerweile in jedem Zimmer. Die Hütten sind sehr hellhörig, wenn man Nachbarn hat hört man jedes Wort. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Sidemen schön.
Ein wunderschöner Ort um abzuschalten, dass ist wohl war. Aber es ist wirklich sehr abgelegen, man braucht einen Fahrer, wenn man keinen Roller fahren kann und der Weg zum Airbnb ist auch sehr schlecht. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und es hat alles geklappt. Leider wartet man 1 Stunde auf das Frühstück, was leider dann auch kalt serviert wurde.. das ist wirklich mühsam, da man Touren buchen will und diese meistens um 9 anfangen .. und das Frühstück beginnt um 8:00. Auch sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig und man hört die Nachbarn duschen.
wij hebben 3 nachten genoten van het Fijne verblijf hier. een heerlijke kamer alles zo schoon. fijn groot bed en zeer ruime Fijne schone ruime badkamer. De menukaart was heerlijk en ok geprijsd. in de nabije omgeving een scooter en of auto nodig maar op 13 minuten lopen Natural view spa voor massage etc.
Super skønt sted beliggende ude i de smukkeste omgivelser - smukt smukt smukt. Personalet var alle smilende og søde. Jeg kan kun give mine bedste anbefalinger.

The location is peaceful and surrounded by beauty. The rooms are very clean and have a unique Balinese style. Having the restaurant onsite was so handy and the food was well portioned and tasty. The lovely staff also assisted in organising a scooter and having our laundry done. It is absolutely worth a stay if visiting the Sideman area.
L’hôtel est magnifique, le personnel très accueillant et toujours serviable Je me suis blessée en faisant tomber ma bouteille de parfum en verre qui s’est cassée sur mon pied, ils m’ont soignée et ont tout de suite nettoyé le sol de la salle de bain pour qu’on ne se coupe pas Hôtes adorables, la nourriture est très bonne
Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet hôtel ! La vue depuis notre chambre était incroyable, et c’était d’un calme absolu. Ça fait vraiment du bien de se ressourcer à Sidemen après quelques jours à Ubud. Un restaurant est disponible sur place à tout moment de la journée et tous les plats sont bons, ainsi que le petit-déjeuner. Vous avez la possibilité de louer des scooters sur place, ainsi que de profiter d’un centre de massages. Seul bémol : notre chambre n’était pas du tout insonorisée… Sinon, rien à dire, c’est même mieux que sur les photos.
Nos quedaríamos a vivir en este alojamiento si se pudiera… El personal, muy amable, atento, ayudando en todo. El lugar es una preciosidad, remanso de paz y tranquilidad. Tienen servicio de masajes, además tienen convenio con negocios locales, nosotros estuvimos haciendo una masterclass de joyería de plata. Un acierto sin duda, volveremos. Gracias Eka y Putu!
We had a wonderful stay ! Staff are adorable, very helpful and always here if you need anything, special award for Eka who took care of us ! They provide multiples services such as yoga, laundry, massages, taxis, renting scooter, you can book activities directly with them. Nice surprise for us breakfast was included, also the food was very nice at the restaurant ! This place is so peaceful we loved it and definitely want to come back, the stay was too short ! Trust me it’s the kind of place you want to keep for you ! Thank you so much again for everything 🙏🤗
Prachtig villa in sideman midden in de natuur, echt een paradijs Brandschoon.ieder dag wordt je kamer gepoetst. Lieve personeel. Heerlijk ontbijt. Rustige omgeving met scooter of auto ben je zo op hoofdweg.10 minuten Je kan scooter huren of eigenaar vragen voor chauffeur. Wij zijn opgehaald door hotel vanuit Sanur en dat heeft hotel geregeld, top chauffeur.wel zelf vragen en zeer betaalbaar.

L’hôtel est idéal pour quelques nuits paisibles en pleine nature au milieu des rizières. Au bord de la piscine vous trouverez sérénité et tranquillité ! Pas de transport hors mis ceux de l’hôtel. Location de scooter sur place. Petit déjeuner très bon (mention spéciale pour les pancakes) !
We had a beautiful stay for two days in one of the huts. The hut was cozy and clean and not as many insects as I expected. The location is very beautiful in the middle of ricefields, it's very calm and peaceful, perfect to enjoy the nature and relax at the pool. Also the staff was great, especially Putu who organized a tour of the ricefields and waterfall for us which was really good :) But you should know that there a not many things like restaurants around, but the food there is really good and we liked being all in the nature. Total recommendation :)
Wij waren echt zo blij dat dit verblijf onderdeel was van onze reis. De omgeving zo mooi en rustig. Een stuk leuker dan de drukkere plaatsen zoals Canggu en Ubud. Een heerlijke plek om even bij te komen en het echte Balinese leven te ervaren. We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen en konden een hele fijne scooter huren. Vanuit Sidemen kun je een hele mooie route maken richting Amed voor een dagje snorkelen. Wel lekker terug zijn voor het donker, want dat is iets minder handig het laatste stukje over het onverharde pad. Wij hadden hutje 5 met een super schone buitendouche. Ook het hutje zelf was schoon en ongedierte vrij. Dat hadden we eerlijk gezegd niet verwacht. Echt een aanrader!!
Super logement au milieu des rizières !
Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und ein paar schöne Tage hier verbracht. Die Lage ist super ruhig in Mitten von Reis- und Chillifeldern, dadurch jedoch auch etwas abgelegen. Mit einem Roller ist man jedoch in 5 Minuten mitten in Sideman. Wir kommen gern wieder, vielleicht sogar zum Ende unseres 5-wöchigen Baliurlaubs:) Das Personal war natürlich auch super!
Notre séjour s’est parfaitement déroulé, dans un cadre paisible, reposant et très confortable. Nous avons pu nous reposer au milieu des rizières où le silence est d’or. La nourriture y est très bonne ainsi que son service. Toujours disponible et à toutes heures, le personnel est très chaleureux, patient et souriant. Nous recommandons fortement ce logement 🌿
Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und ideal zum Entspannen. Es war sehr ruhig und die Anlage strahlte einen besonderen Charme aus. Taxifahrten konnten individuell gebucht werden und die Hilfsbereitschaft der Angestellten war sehr groß. Auch das Restaurant bot viele verschiedene Speisen an, sodass für jeden etwas dabei sein sollte. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
De locatie van de accommodatie is prachtig. De accommodatie ligt midden in de rijstvelden (tip: hiking tour). Het centrum van Sidemen is 10 minuten rijden met de scooter. Vanaf de accommodatie gezien is de weg alleen de eerste 400 meter onverhard. Dit maakt het scooter rijden lastiger, maar zeker niet onmogelijk! De accommodatie zelf is erg luxe. Goed verblijf om tot rust te komen. Het ontbijt is inbegrepen en is erg goed! Het is een absolute aanrader om hier naar toe te gaan.
Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage in der Unterkunft. Die Anlage ist gepflegt, das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Frühstück sehr gut aus ausreichend. Bis in die Stadt läuft man ungefähr 40 Minuten. Man kann sich dort aber auch einen Roller ausleihen und ist innerhalb von 5 Minuten da. 😊
Kubu Sakian is a lovely place to stay in Sidemen. 10 min away from the restaurants area by scooter, the surrounding is very beautiful with rice paddies and mountains. The external bathroom is awesome to shower under the sky and mountains. Special mentions to Putu and the team who is super helpful to arrange our laundry, boat booking, transportation, etc.
Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an Willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist bis ins letzte Detail hübsch gmacht. Es ist eine ruhige Gegend, mitten in Feldern im Dschungel. Ideal zum entspannen und um das Landesinnere zu entdecken. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und wurden jeden Tag gereinigt. Wir würden aufjedenfall wiederkommen.

Die Unterkunft war ein Traum. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren modern und wunderschön. Das Essen im Restaurant war super. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke an das ganze Team.
My partner and I were looking for somewhere to totally relax and this place was more than ideal! The surroundings were breathtaking and our villa was beautiful. Our host Putu was extremely helpful, ensuring we felt well looked after for our entire stay. Putu even drove us to the ferry port as we were heading to Nusa Penida on departure & made sure to provide a breakfast en route ( the pancakes were amazing!). He also assisted with arranging the boat across, and sourced our tickets. Putu even provided assistance once we had left the Airbnb and required a ferry back to the main island of Bali- we couldn’t have asked for more. If you are looking for a relaxing stay and extremely accommodating hosts - this place is for you.
Very nice and extremely clean place ! It’s such a lovely place to stay for a couple of day to rest ! A beautiful temple on a hill was a few meters away ! Food is also very good ! And people working there so professionnel and kind ! I highly recommend !!
Although a little bit further than most stays in Sidemen, the location is beyond beautiful. Staff is really nice, their English needs some working on but everyone is extremely helpful. The road to the location is somewhat bumpy, steep and dangerous even but in our opinion completely worth it. Makes for an adventure! We had a great stay :)
One of tfhe best places we've ever stayed. The surrounding area is incredibly beautifulThe whole team is and the villa is very elegant. They offer good food and impeccable service. Sideman area offers everything you look for in Bali: beaches, nature, rice terraces, waterfalls, temples... I have to write a specific note about the service: l scratched the motorbike that l rented from the villa and they could've easily asked a huge amount of money and l would've had to pay. Instead, Mr. Putu (manager) searched for the cheapest part online, sent me a screenshot of the part and price, which was very reasonable. That is trust, and it is hard to find as a tourist. Usually as a tourist you're seen as a bank, and it's hard to trust people, but at this place you can find trust, which is very important. I can't recommend this place enough. Try it and you'll not be regretful.
We had an amazing few days here! Room was nice and clean, staff was super helpful and attentive. Good breakfast included in the room rate, we were not expecting that. There’s a rocky road to get there, but even on a motorbike we were able to manage that. We didn’t find the place at first, since the directions didn’t lead us directly to the villa, but then we saw it further down the road.
The complex is peaceful, secluded and practically brand new. Everything is spotless and the rooms were cleaned and made up every day. It's nestled in the countryside about 15 minutes' drive away from the town of Sideman. There's a small village just up the hill where there are a few local shops and a coffee shop that's part of another resort. Other than that, it's a place just to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet in an area of Bali that's yet to become overly-touristy. The pool is very nice and actually large enough to exercise and swim laps in, as well as just cooling off from the heat. The Wi-Fi is good and was strong enough for me to do an hour-long work Zoom call. Nengah and his team were friendly, helpful and very communicative via AirBnb. I also unfortunately had an accident on a scooter and the staff were quick to provide plasters, bandages and antiseptic cream. Thank you very much!
Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Das Zimmer war top ausgestattet, schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Gerne wieder!

Bei Negah findet man Ruhe vor den Touristen. Mitten im grünen kann man entspannen. Für etwas mehr Action kann man einen Scooter ausleihen und die Wasserfälle der Umgebung erkunden oder zu anderen Aktivitäten! Wir empfehlen den Silver Class Workshop bei Made (IG: sidemensilver_bali).
Ein so wundervoller Ort ! Es stimmt einfach alles ! Unglaublich schön alles sauber und gemütlich. Die Unterkunft ist relativ neu und die Familie die dort arbeitet so herzlich und hilfsbereit ich habe mich so wohl gefühlt dass wir direkt noch eine Nacht dazu gebucht haben. Ich wäre am liebsten noch länger dort geblieben. Der Ort ist so ruhig und grün! Ich hab es einfach so sehr genossen es war rundum perfekt und die beste Unterkunft die ich in meiner 3 wöchigen Bali Reise hatte ! Außerdem haben wir für 100k einen fast Nagelneuen Scooter bekommen ! Klare Empfehlung ❤️

We spent 3 nights at Nengah‘s place and really liked the setting and surrounding in beautiful nature. The staff was very nice, the food was good, the breakfast could have been a little bit more. There’s lots to do near the place. They have a brand new nmax scooter available for renting, we liked that very much. The rental units are quite close together, so you might hear some noise from the neighbors. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the room we booked.
Es war eine der schönsten, wenn nicht sogar die schönste Unterkunft auf meiner Reise! Wenn man Ruhe sucht, ist man hier genau richtig!

We had a great stay at Kubu Sakian Villas. It was clean, comfortable bed, ac worked great, everything was new, food was good, beautiful pool and unbelievable surroundings ~ just gorgeous everywhere with a wonderful view of the volcano. 15 mins from the town of Sideman with restaurants and spas. Great prices, very responsive and friendly staff and they have a kitty “Jungle” which was a huge plus for me as a cat lover. They have scooters for rent at a good price. 42 inch tv with Netflix, great WiFi. There was a little noise from the people above us but that wasn’t an issue for us. We would definitely stay here again.
Enjoy Bali's countryside, in the most stunning setting! If you're looking for a retreat or quiet getaway, a stay at Kubu Sakian is most recommended! Surrounded by verdant farms, local homes and jungled hills, I loved sitting on my patio morning and night to take in the view, the sounds, and the peacefulness of being away from it all! Putu was on hand 24/7, so if I needed anything, was very helpful. He provided me a new scoopy scooter so that I could make my way to waterfalls and restaurants in the surrounding area. There is also a spa/restaurant up the hill in the little community (natural spa), that is about 15 minutes walk and I recommend for treatments. Do note that the villa is located about 15 minutes drive from Sidemen, down a patch of bumpy country road. I was happy to have a scooter to get around, although some guests were using a taxi organized by the villa. The facilities are brand new, and a great value for the space! Not centrally located, but that's the point!
Kubu Sakian is an awesome place to stay. Located in the middle of the beautiful ricefields of the sidemen area you will find an absolute qualm and quiet getaway. Rooms are super clean and the whole area is very neat. Putu and his family are so nice and helpful with everything, they arranged transfers and we could rent a scooter directly with them. Breakfast is included and very good, we had fresh smoothie bowl and coffee every morning. We would absolutely recommend to stay there for a few nights 👌
My stay at Kubu Sakian was so wonderful. The location and environment is amazing, it looks like heaven on earth. The room was spacious and brand new, and the staff were so incredibly kind and helpful. They helped me arrange a day trip as well as transport to my next location. It’s a bit expensive but honestly worth it. Would definitely love to stay here again!
Wir hatten ein wunderschönes komplett neues Bungalow in mitten von Reisfeldern. Alles perfekt verarbeitet. Die Dusche funktioniert hervorragend. Der Rest der Unterkunft ist äußerst sauber. Die Kabu Sakian Villa ist ein balinesischer Familienbetrieb, die Mitarbeiter haben uns so willkommen geheißen als wären wir ein Teil der Familie. Die Unterkunft liegt wie beschrieben in mitten von Reisfeldern in einem Tal, alleine das ist einen Besuch wert. Perfekt um abzuschalten. Die Gastfreundschaft, sowie das hervorragende Service haben es für uns zu einem unvergesslichen Aufenthalt gemacht.

We booked a last minute stay here and we’re pleasantly surprised by the peaceful surroundings and accommodations. We felt very lucky to have booked Nengah’s place as it was away from most accommodations where most tourists stay We really felt immersed in the local life in Sideman while being very comfortable at this stay. It was very clean and the bedding and sheets looked and felt almost new. Great outdoor shower, comfortable bed. Lovely pool and views. Amazing sunset. Also, guests should be advised to organize their own driver for return/exit from Sideman as it is almost impossible to get a grab car and drivers there are very expensive. We definitely plan on returning here and highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodations in Sideman as we felt like family during our short time there.
I adored my stay at Kubu Sakian, the views are beautiful, the accommodation new & the staff made me feel like I was part of their family. I had everything I needed as a solo traveller & even though the location is 15 minutes from the town center, Putu & Rere provided a scooter taxi when I wanted to go somewhere & I really enjoyed seeing sidemen this way, as the views are amazing wherever you go. I hope to return in a few months time to visit this lovely family again. Some things that stood out The beds are really comfortable The shower pressure is great The facility is new & very clean. Sidemen is a hidden gem Its a family run business that is expanding with 3 more villas currently being built. I can highly recommended if youre considering staying here. X
We really liked this place. The facility is newly built and very nice. The surrounding is just amazing with all this rice fields and the nature. The whole team is very friendly. Everything is still very new, the processes are not yet fully defined and the employees are still learning, but that did not bother us. Thank you for the nice stay!
Great place! My girlfriend and I had a great time at this wonderful place. Everything is brand new and very clean, the host is super friendly and helped us with many things, like laundry, transport (he drove us to a restaurant) or he organised us a taxi to our next destination. We just had a relaxed time in the middle of the rise fields. For everybody who has to work: the internet was quiet good.
Die Unterkunft wird von einer Familie betrieben und ist brandneu. Der Pool ist toll und der Ausblick einfach nur herrlich. Das Frühstück war im Preis inbegriffen und das Nasi Goreng einfach nur zu empfehlen. Es ist etwas abgelegen auf der anderen Seite des Flusses in einem Reisfeldtal mit toller Aussicht. Für uns genau das Richtige!

This is an hidden gem and I strongly recommend it! As soon as we stepped our feet in, we fell in love with it: the room is comfortable and spacious, warm ambience and beautifully furnished, the linen and towels have a pleasant smell and everything is SUPER CLEAN. The pool is amazing and you get a gorgeous view on the rice fields, very calming vibes and close to nature. Breakfast was also great, safe parking available on site, AC and Wi-Fi works without problems. The staff and owner are extremely caring and helped with everything to guarantee a comfortable and seamless stay.
