Exploring House Pino 1 story in UBUD left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of House Pino 1 story in UBUD was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for House Pino 1 story in UBUD painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
The staff was not informed of our arrival. The place was not cleaned or prepared or made up. We had to wait for 2 hours for the staff to clean up. The host did not reply to our messages on the date of arrival despite the fact we tried to communicate on the unreadiness state of the place.
Overall I was ok with the house for the price, however the numerous Geckos inside the house made the experience very unpleasant. I checked out the same day due to this, also the house had too many open spaces for insects and reptiles to peep in; considering it’s in a dense jungle surrounding safe proofing the house should have been taken care of or at least there should be a mention in the description. Also the house can use a little maintenance.
Maya is a great host! She managed flowers for my wife’s birthday and was responsive. Honest Review about the place 1. The house looks exactly like the photos however the view from the balcony was nothing special. We didn’t use the balcony at all. 2. It’s affordable and close to everything that’s why I took the place. If you just want to crash for the night is a great deal. 3. The Air Conditioner is too small for the house. We mainly relied on the fan. 4. The bathroom could’ve been well maintained.
Good location but broken or non-performing Cooling system, was not able to sleep due to heat and left early to another hotel instead.

The location was great but the noise was bad. A bar in front never stopped loud music till 3 am. Maya did tell me but I thought it would not be as bad. The pictures were fantastic but in reality it wasn’t.
It was the nice peaceful location in the middle of the city but honestly one can get much better stays in Ubud in the same price. The hosts were not available at the house most of the time but they were sweet and nice whenever we interacted.
I really don’t think they can fix the noise problem unfortunately
It is conveniently located and ideal for a quick visit to Ubud. Definitely worth it for the price.
We had trouble with electricity and water which was resolved after a few hours. But otherwise this is a quaint little beautiful house with a rice field view.
For the price of the room, I would have expected better service and amenities in the room. However, the guest house was located further from main streets and we had to walk for quite a while from Ubud centre. As for the room, the water dispenser was broken and kept dripping water over the kitchen floor. Air conditioner was not working at all even though we turned the temperature way down. A dog was barking all night long. Also, the staff helped us call a taxi but failed to tell the driver the exact location of the guest house, which caused our departure time to had been delayed.
The bathroom is moldy. The kitchen needs to have a tea strainer and a peeler.
The villa was rustic and nice. a little overpriced for the outlook and location. Staff were very helpful
The Gladek that Is House pino was super sweet, and as I stayed almost a month, it grew on my more and more everyday. The frangipani trees, the ylang ylang, the layout. I love love love Kadek and Yuli who cleaned my room, and took such sweet care of me. There is music that plays intermittenly at nights, (weekends especially) that can be loud, but usually finishes by 12. Noise cancelling headphones helped me through a few nights, but truly, I love this sweet house, very central, and good value for the location.
房间很干净，入住很顺利，还有管家收拾屋子 厕所会遇到青蛙等小动物，这要看个人喜好了 地段很好，出门都是吃的 唯一一点就是门口酒吧有点吵，这点Maya有提前在房源信息告知，但是有一晚不知道为什么门口的摩托停车场半夜两点还很吵，只有一晚可能是偶然情况吧
Stayed here while working remotely in Bali. The location is great with nice cafe, convenience store and a few pizzeria around. The room comes with a stable internet access and a functional kitchenette to make simple meals. The downsides are:- - AC is not very cooling. The temperature of the room is set at a constant 24°c day/night. - The live singing performance nearby stops at 11pm and it wasn’t a big deal. - You will see frogs! They are like superman that cling on walls. Pretty cool actually though they are loud 🐸🎶

Good stay
The location of the house is perfect. Everything is close to the house. House is enough big so it is a relaxing place for me. There are just two problems that; there were lizard, little frog abd mosquietos in bathroom. It is a bit hard for me 😅 and also there was a little blood plot on my pique. Maybe they should be more careful about it. But as a general, everything was good. Also the staff is so helpful, kind and hospitable. ;)
A cozy tiny house with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The cleaning staff is super friendly and sweet, without them the place wouldn't have the same vibe. There is quite a lot of noise at night though, both from the frogs and geckos, but mostly from the motorbikes/scooters who all are parked at the public parking lot across from the house.

Great couple of days stay here, loved the Balinese decoration and time spent relaxing on the terrace. Bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in!
I really liked the place. I stayed there for a couple of days. This was my first place of my travels in Bali. On the first day I discovered some insects and the hosts kindly removed them or me. I loved the look & feel of the house. It's really dreamy. I couldn't easily rent a GoJack car of scooter because in that area they are not supposed to drive I think. There are a lot of restaurants and places to shop in that neighborhood and when I wanted to go a bit further I rented a tourguide. The host is very sweet, humble, kind. Overall a good experience.
These places were absolutely beautiful on the inside. You were right in the middle of Ubud, so everything was walking distance. I didn't use a taxi once. My only complaint was that the room had a few issues with ants. But it wasn't enough to really bother me, and I wouldn't mind staying there again.
Beautiful little house, with very lovely decoration. Location is good, many shops and restaurants nearby. The main attractions of Ubud are in 15-20 mins walking distance. However, we might have been unlucky, but when we were there for four days, there was a jazz festival next to us for two days, which was quite loud and went on even at night. In addition to this, the next door house was being built or renovated, so people were working on its roof every morning. Once again, we might have been unlucky with all the noises, but a prior heads-up would have been nice too, since this was our honeymoon (and we mentioned it when we booked the place). I would still recommend the place though.
It was lovely and cozy house. Beautiful view from the room and gardening was lovely. Perfect place to chill and be lazy. House is quite old though. Room was clean enough, but if you do care about cleanness, you better choose other hostel. 위치도 좋고 별채는 너무 러블리해서 발리 여행객들에게 딱이었어요. 요가를 하러 갔는데 요가반과도 매우 가깝습니다. 다만 좀 낡았어요. 청소로는 해결할 수 없는 낡음이에요 ㅋㅋㅋ 청결을 매우 신경쓰시는 분들은 유념하고 가세요. 글규 다른 쑥쏘로 옴겨보뉘까 다룽 여휑겍들을 맛나보니까 뮈화 솸십달러 정도류다가 아쥬 뎌은 쑥쏘를 규할쓔 이떠라그염. 갸걱이 져럄한건 아닝고 가타열. 참고하세요.
House Pino was a lovely space. Our host provided us with everything we’d need, from extra towels to all the utensils in the kitchen so we could cook. The place itself is in a perfect location, it’s close to everything, but in a quite spot.
Lovely little house in peaceful location. Gardens are beautiful. Porch was nice for relaxing. Buddha bowl is good place to eat across the street. Near the ARMA art museum.

This place is great value for the price. It's adorable and stylish and kept quite clean. Although the location is great for being so close to everything, it's a more chaotic end of town and I found it a bit noisy at night. Shoka was very responsive if I had any questions or concerns. For this price, the place and location is seriously perfect and amazing. If you're looking for serene and tranquil, maybe pay a bit more and stay on the other end of town :)

Brilliant location. Just a stones throw from the central street. Great for pick ups for tours etc. There is a music venue near to the villa which plays loud music into the night. Not a problem on holiday normally, but we were hoping for a quiet night before a Mount Batur trek but unfortunately were unable to sleep due to the volume. Lovely spacious villa, best shower out of our stays so far! Thank you.
Stunning home. Felt very isolated. More like a haven for couples. Very small but had everything we needed. Just one road off from the busy Monkey Forest Road (busy shopping street) only 5-10min. Overall pretty good!
The house is just killing cozy, I mean it. Everything is beautiful, nicely made, all little details are useful and nice to know the owner puts a thought about Mosquitos, morning coffee, fresh water and so on...The location is quite, a family of ducks will bother you at the morning with noises, but it's cute again, isn't it? I had such a beautiful stay here for almost three weeks 🤍 From the very first moment, I felt incredibly welcome – everything was so warm, easy, and well taken care of. The place itself is truly special – peaceful, clean, and just the perfect space to feel at home while being away. Everything worked smoothly throughout my entire stay, which made it so easy to fully relax and enjoy my time in Ubud. I’m honestly so grateful for this experience and would come back anytime. Really enjoyed my stay here. The house feels so homey and I enjoyed having a clean kitchen with everything I needed. The hot water shower worked great and the bed was so cute and comfy. I chose the location intentionally to be close to everything while knowing it wasn’t going to be the most silent place. I didn’t hear the music from the cafes so much though, just scooters. I would stay here again.

Ich habe drei Wochen im House Pino übernachtet. Es war nicht nur ein Apartment sondern wie ein Zuhause für mich, in dem ich mich geborgen und gut versorgt gefühlt haben. Die liebevolle Atmosphäre mit einem natürlichen schönen Garten lud mich dazu ein länger zu bleiben als geplant. Eine Herzensempfehlung.

This was such a lovely stay. The accommodation was cleaned every day, and the staff were very kind, thoughtful, and attentive throughout. The space itself is absolutely charming, it feels like a little fairy house. There’s lots of natural light, high ceilings, and a well-equipped kitchen, which made it very comfortable and relaxing. The location is central yet peaceful, which was perfect for me. I was able to get around easily while still having the space to cook my own meals, which was important as I’ve been on a cleanse. I really enjoyed my time here and would happily stay again.

House Pino is a hidden gem in the midst of Ubud very close to Yoga Barn. The house is beautiful and Maya is a great host!

House Pino did not disappoint! The location was very central. Pros, it was close to everything, restaurants, markets, spa’s, cafes etc., cons it was a little bit loud in the night. If you’re a light sleeper take ear plugs. There’s also a lot of animal and insect sounds which we thought was beautiful, because you are surrounded by nature/jungle, but again a little bit noisy for light sleepers. The house was down an alley way which was private and secure. The housekeeper was so wonderful - very hospitable and always had a smile on her face. The room was clean when we got there and was cleaned every day. Drinking water was topped up everyday which was convenient. We didn’t use the kitchen, we just had a few things in the fridge, but it looked well equipped for if you wanted to cook small meals. The air con and fan worked perfectly throughout the stay and there was a net around the bed which meant no mosquito bites. I definitely recommend staying here if you want to be central!
This place is exactly like the photos. At first, I did walk into the ally lead to the place wrong, I ended up on a gravel path with two luggage once I learned the way, it was much easier. There was construction in the area, Maya’s team surprised me with a plate of fruits as an apology, that was a very lovely. Overall, the place is peaceful, walkable to everywhere, and lots of space compare to a hotel room. If I come back, I would stay here again.

It was my first time in Bali and Maya’s house was a good start to explore Ubud. It is in the middle of everything in walkable distance, but gives you the peace you need. I picked the house since it is 5 min to Yogabarn. The house was cleaned everyday. I preferred to eat outside but the kitchen is equipped for small cookings. The house itself is wooden with high ceiling, makes you sleep better and gives you an authentic stay. The bed was so comfortable. Having my coffee on the patio with a lovely garden! Also Maya helped me with arranging a transfer from airport. As mentioned in other reviews, you may hear restaurant or construction noises, for me it did not disturb, they were a piece of the environment. So enjoy your stay :)
Loved this creative rustic space. Very short walk to the busy streets. Yet quite quiet. This is my second visit here

非常喜欢的房子，很local完全可以体验当地人的生活方式，地理位置优越便利，可以步行去yoga barn 和coco supermarket，周边也有好吃的餐厅，工作人员非常礼貌热情，每天有打扫房间的服务真的非常好！第二次入住的体验了！
Always love my time here. It's cosy, so close to the Ubud organised chaos, but tucked away for peace and quiet. Soul Bites is just up the road with the most delicious food and coffee.

The house was really very lovely, and especially convenient for access to Yoga Barn. I would have loved to spend more time in it, except that my training schedule kept me very busy. I did notice the street noise in the evening, but it was no worse than any other busy neighborhood. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially when I was trying to find the house which is a little bit tricky. Once you know where it is, it *is* easy to find again and within walking distance of a number of restaurants and a grocery store (if you're inclined to use the kitchen facilities) Overall, I had a lovely time at House Pino and would definitely stay again
Maya and Kura were both so sweet! The place was lovely, centrally located, you can rent a scooter right next door and walk all over. Will definitely stay there again when I come back 🩷🩷🩷
There place was nice and clean. The property is only accessible through a narrow alley, so if you're renting a motorbike you'll need to find a parking outside

We had a thoroughly enjoyable 5 night stay at Maya’s place. It was walking distance to many things we wanted to do in the Ubud area (e.g. monkey forest, Ubud Palace). Maya and her staff (Ms Yuli and Ms Kadek) were so lovely and responsive.
One of the most beautiful villas among the busy roads. I fell in love with this place as soon as I got inside. There was a separate beautiful entrance to my small villa. The staff was amazing. There was a lady with an amazing smile and that smile makes my whole day. She cleaned my room everyday. The only issue is the construction notices and the vehicle noises but it didn’t bother me having a peaceful sleep. I would highly recommend this place and it worth every penny. It’s walking distance to yoga barn, monkey forest , ubud palace and so many amazing cafes.
We did love our stay at Mayas place. It was centrally located etc. We just felt that the noise factor could have been better communicated. It’s in a bustling area… just down an alley way. Super pretty and the staff was amazing! Just the scooter parking in the next street - so the noise is constant from that and then the live music noise is super loud every night - even though it’s quite far away… our white-noise soundtrack helped with this - because the noise level at night could ruin an otherwise really lovely stay 🌺
This place had definitely a unique vibe being in the city center of Ubud and at the same time away from the buzy streets. Staff was pretty helpful with my needs and enquiry. Would definitely return here if im planning to visit again.

Was a great stay with Maya and the team! All staff are super friendly. Would recommend some insect spray as I did get bitten a lot but maybe that is Bali in general. Perfect location to the town and super clean. Really easy to find will definitely be staying again!
My experience staying at Maya's place was the best airbnb experience I've ever had so far! The space was beautiful, very clean, and exactly as described. Before getting to the airbnb, my phone broke on the plane and I had no way of contacting anyone except for using the airbnb chat on my computer. Maya was soooo extremely helpful with booking a driver for me and instructing him to take me to a store where I could buy a new phone. Such a life saver!! made my trip feel a lot more easeful knowing that someone was willing to help me in this way(: The staff at house Pino were the absolute kindest women with the sweetest hearts! I felt extra welcomed by their exemplary hospitality and gentle daily check ins. There were also two sweet little kittens there that I had the pleasure of befriending which was an unexpected delight. I would 100% recommend staying here and would definitely book again! Thank you so much again to Maya and her staff!!

We loved the place and had the most comfortable stay here. Kadek was very helpful and provided us with everything we needed at any time of the day. However, there were ants in the lavatory, sink and shower for the first two days but the caretaker did her best to resolve it immediately.
Immer erreichbar, hilfsbereit, sobald etwas war. Tolles Haus, super Unterkunft, tolle Lage. absolut empfehlenswert.

Maya’s place is breathtaking.
I stayed two nights at Maya’s place. I highly recommend here. It feels like home. There is a music noise between 9-11pm but I was not affected, it was ok for me. Maya also told me about this before :) She helped me with the transportation, I met with Mr Bobby and he was also super kind with the instrunctions, he also gave me a private tour next day, and made my day. Maya can share the details with you. It is 15 minutes by walking to Yoga Barn, also 5 minutes to Monkey Forest. There are nice coffee shops around and also nice dinner places. Ps: If you are scared of lizards, it is not a place for you :) They can be seen in the house time to time as well. It is a place in the nature so be well prepared. I was fine with them.
Maya was a great host and flexible with checking in and out, which we really appreciated. The place itself was lovely and had everything we needed. There is quite a lot of noise - firstly from the live music at a nearby restaurant (Maya had warned us about this in advance and this is not a complaint, just a comment for the benefit of other guests) but also from the street and surroundings in general. For us, this was not a huge problem, because this was the compromise given that the location was so good with lots of restaurants and shops close-by. If you are looking for a quiet stay, this place is not for you, but if you are okay with some noise and want to be close to amenities, it is a great choice. Just bring your earplugs and sleeping mask :)
Our stay at House Pino was amazing! The place was tidied every day and we had fresh towels daily! We even had our clothes laundered which was amazing and quick. The location is perfect and everything we wanted to do was a quick walk or motorbike ride away. What a lovely experience!

I only stayed one night and wished I stayed longer. Beautiful, clean and comfortable place with great restaurants around the corner and short walking distance to Ubud City Center! Very friendly hosts!
Pobyt w tym domu był świetny. Jest on położony w super lokalizacji, wsadzie było blisko! Dom był czysty, zdjęcia z oferty były zgodne z rzeczywistością. Nie było też żadnego problemu z późniejszym wymeldowaniem. Zdecydowanie godne polecenia!
Amazing house in Ubud. We really enjoyed our stay in it. There is also small courtyard where you can relax and enjoy peaceful atmosphere of the town. House is located in the heart of Ubud so you can easily visit restaurants, cafes and shops. Many thanks to Maya, Lisma and Kadek.
Beautiful place to stay. Very homey and quaint. So adorable and loved the little cats in the villa area. Great in terms of walking distance for food and activities. Overall great place to stay.
This is not the first time I have lived with Maya. I like to return to this cozy house, it is not always quiet, as there are many bars and restaurants around, but this does not prevent me from relaxing. The house is cozy, the floor creaks a little. in general, I have a great time visiting Maya. I recommend !
Convenient location, 15mins walk to yoga barn
House Pino was the perfect place to end our trip on. In a great location in Ubud centre, its mere metres to an Alfamart convenient store and plenty of really great cafes and eateries. Really recommend SUKA Espresso which is less than 5 minute walk away - great coffee and food!! We went there everyday for breakfast and even dinner one night. The house is as described and in the pictures. Everything was clean and well kept. There were even two very cute black cats - one of them visited us a couple of nights and came to hang out with us! As its off the main road, down a little laneway the noise is blocked out and its a comfortable and quiet stay. It's easy to find transport for any sight seeing days too whether that be gojek, taxi or private driver. There was info for a recommended driver inside the AirBnB - named Boby - and we booked him for our trip to Uluwatu at a pretty good price. For a low key, comfortable and convenient stay I would defs recommend House Pino.
Amazing place!
House Pino was a charming and cozy spot in the heart of Ubud. The gardens were beautiful and the staff was so warm and friendly! We loved our stay. This location is the hot spot of Ubud, with tons of restaurants and cool things to check out - but at times this made the area quite noisy. Great spot if you want to be close by all the action!

I had a great time staying at Maya's place, it's a quaint traditional house exactly like the photographs and set in a nice little garden. Being slight off the main street provides some distance from traffic noise but still super convenient with loads of restaurants and cafes right outside. Boby and Lasmi were also very kind. Overall a fantastic place to stay! Thank you Maya!
Not a single disadvantage for House Pino! We loves every single detail of the room Well-deco, clean and comfy bed, a useful kitchenwith all kitchen stuffs. Staffs are so nice and also all cats are adorable Location is really great too, very close to a main road with many reataurant nearby We will definitely stay here if visit Ubud next time!

The stay is beautiful! Not far from the big busy street and you can walk to the monkey forest and Ubud market. It’s really clean and the hostesses are really kind. If you like cats, the hostess has three cats. 😄
Great location, close to nice cafe and coffee. Always nice and quiet. Friendly check in and well maintained. Comfortable and great for the price. Second time visiting and will certainly book again for next year.

Cute, wonderful little house. I stayed for a month. It’s in easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, stores. Yet, it’s really quiet at night. I’m now staying in another AirBnB on the same property for another month. There is a manager on site who was great! Can’t recommend this place more.
I loved my stay in this beautiful little house. Tucked away down a quiet lane with a beautiful garden, and a minute walk to the busy main road. It was comfortable, well appointed and beautifully decorated. Comfy bed, great wifi, excellent water pressure in shower. Kitchen had everything I needed to make simple meals. I really enjoyed having coffee & breakfast on the porch. I could easily walk to shops, restaurants and Popular Supermarket is nearby too. I did not expect housekeeping service, really appreciated fresh towels and tidy up. The family who cares for houses lives next door with 3 very cute cats. Excellent communication with check in and being provided with a glass of cold dragon fruit juice when I arrived was really lovely. I only wish the cats visited a bit more more. My stay at Pino House exceeded my expectations.

The location is top notch! There will be small road to go to the house but it’s really close to everything that’s happening in Ubud such as Seeds eatery, Suka espresso, Pison Ubud, Yoga Barn! All those places just steps away! We love to do our morning and evening walk around the property on foot 😍 The house is really clean and Mba Lasmi cleaned it regularly, she’s super helpful! We love the little garden, the spacious room and surrounding that is so quiet and serene. We’re so happy staying here and would recommend it to everyone! 😍😍😍😍😍 Thanks so much we hope we could come back again soon!

This small house (Javanese-Jonglo style) is a super cute and comfortable place with all material necessary and adorable staff people, in the heart of Ubud. Highly recommended !
The place so nice and the service is super good. They kept the place clean everyday, and they changed the towels everyday, and they even refilled the water. The communication is super good, the location is close to everything you need like restaurants, bars and mini markets. You can have your own privacy in this place. Maya is a good host, we never met but she always responded my messages when I had any question. Thank you Maya.
Really enjoy my experience in this property. The ladies who took care of the place were really friendly. They would go miles to make sure your needs are met. You can rent a motorbike from the property, or even ask the property keeper to take you around for a good fee. I really enjoy the unique design of the place. And the location, you are really located in the middle of everything in Ubud. Maya is also a very kind and attentive host. I really thank you for everything.

I had a lovely time staying at Maya’s place. I really love what they’ve done with the garden. Ms. Lasmi made sure everything was well taken care of, getting laundry service and basic cooking amenities weren’t a hassle at all. I really appreciate having her around. The location is perfect, around 8 minutes’ walk from Yoga Barn - enough for a warm up walk. It’s in the center of Ubud, just a few steps away from nice restos, convenient store, lab clinic where you can get your PCR/antigen test, and Ubud’s awarded spa (highly recommend). At the same time, you get to enjoy the serene quietness and nature sounds. Best of both worlds. The bed, AC, water pressure and fridge were awesome. If you have a soft spot for nature, I highly recommend this place for you. But if you’re a bit too squeamish, you might want to opt to stay in a hotel instead.
Location : right spot on the center. From the house to saraswati temple and return is around 5 km. Perfect distance for 5km run in the morning. Cleanliness: very clean! Bathroom : quite spacious. For me the pressure and temperature (hot) are perfect. Something that not easy to find, even in 5-stars hotel. ;) Getting food: right at the entrance there is mini market. There is great pizza place right in the corner. If you want to get the famous crispy duck is only walking distance. Overall: great stay. Recommended place to stay. Great job Maya

We loved the small cabin villa style space - it was down a little pathway in a very central location yet quiet for being so central to Ubud. Even with a small staff parking space across from the room it was quiet for 90% of the time. We loved the garden space, our own sitting space with all the beautiful touches and the way in which the room became more spacious and airy when we opened the doors to let in the sounds of the beautiful Bali rain. So nice to be able to walk over to the kitchenette area and make coffee and breakfast before a short stroll to yoga class at Yoga Barn - We will be back to this beautiful, thoughtful and peaceful Ubud stay. This place is beautiful, very accessible to everything you may want or need during your stay in Ubud, and it's really an oasis. So beautifully decorated and well cared for by the groundskeepers. Pino house was a great place to relax and unwind. Located 30m off the main road made it quiet yet accessible. From Pino house you can easily explore all of Ubud on foot. Great place, would definitely stay again.

Shoka is one of the best host in Bali. Place is better than described. It was not perfect but the hospitality and service is 5/5. We will definitely come back here when we visit Ubud again. House Pino is near to many food eateries, Halal ones too. So a great lookout. Nearby a shop that rents out bikes as well. There’s a spa just in front. Staffs were super pleasant. A little heavy hearted to leave House Pino. Thank you so much Shoka and staffs. If you’re in Ubud, House Pino is the one for you. The room were pleasantly decorated with roses, books and all. Clean utensils, water supply was good. And, we were welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink as well. 5 stars again. 😍
Shoka's place was incredibly beautiful, definitely the type of place you want to stay in Ubud. It is only a 30 second walk to the main road in Ubud so very close to many great restaurants, spas, mini marts and pharmacies. We did not need to get transport anywhere around the main town which was fantastic. Kadek was great with helping us check in and is a very wonderful person who made our stay better. There was a stove and fridge as well as a kettle which were very nice additions to our stay as it made things easier for us. The bed was very comfortable with a mosquito net and the bathroom was also beautiful! Definitely would recommend, especially for couples.
If we could give this more than 5 stars we would! We requested an early check in day-of and upon arriving around 12pm (check-in would have typically been 2pm) we were greeted and brought to our cozy little house right away. We were also given a delicious dragonfruit welcome drink upon arrival - such a nice touch! The location was incredible - we read reviews that talked about noise from the nightlife but we weren’t disturbed at all. It was a short walk to Monkey Forest Rd for shopping and restaurants and was also surrounded with other great options for morning coffee, breakfast, dinner, spas and shops (all within 5 minutes!) The space itself was amazing - the house had tons of character and an amazing stone washroom with the hottest shower we had all trip. Such a treat after a few other places we had been! The kitchen is equipped for cooking if you wish but the area was full of great spots to eat which we opted for. The house also has a lovely front porch with outdoor lighting, chairs, a couch and a table if you wanted some down time without having to leave. Overall, a 10/10 experience!
The cottage and gardens were beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and clean. It was a truly lovely stay. A great location close to nice cafes and shopping. We will definately stay again next time we are in Ubud.

This place is so cute, I’m coking back for sure. It’s close to the Yoga Barn, supermarket, cafes and massage places. The place itself has everything you need. The staff were SO FRIENDLY and kind. It was pouring when I checked in, but she came out with an umbrella to greet me off my cab. Although I never met Shoka, she was so quick to respond to all my inquires and requests. She even helped me get a cab to the airport at 7AM. Thank you, until next time!
House Pino is a amazing location, very close to many restaurants and the busy streets but still gives you a feeling of seclusion. The staff around the house and the overall cleanliness of the villa exceed expectations! My husband and I could not be more happy and comfortable with our stay and House Pino, highly recommended!
Simply delightful...excellent central location in quiet alley...the bed is to die for...as a dog lover who owns four dogs i could only dream of how many more i could comfortably fit in that bed if i had it in my own house...well done...comforts of home while away from home

House Pino is quite beautiful, located very close to Yoga Barn next to the rice fields. Shoka is a great host that looks after the house with great care. Everything practical is working fine: efficient AC and fan, great bathroom, nice little kitchen and fantastic bed.
I really enjoyed staying here, amazing hospitality, amazing people run the place. It is the perfect location in Ubud, everything is very close (restaurants, good coffee, yoga, spa etc), you can even not use transport at all. The bike they have for rent are in good condition. The only thing, if you plan to sleep till noon or during the day it may be a problem for a few months, because there is the construction next door. But at night it's very quiet and peaceful. Thank your a lot, I'll be back <3
A beautiful private cabin on the edge of Ubud. It’s a short walk into the main areas and nice to stay somewhere away from the busiest places (Ubud is manic!) The cabin has plenty of space, the bed is massive and really comfy, the bathroom and shower are great, and we had fresh coffee provided daily along with a delicious welcome drink when we arrived. There are a few insects but that’s obviously unavoidable, the bed has good mosquito nets. I’d recommend bringing a citronella candle, we just had tea lights and they really helped. Beautiful spot though I’d definitely recommend!

Wir hatten hier einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral. In unmittelbarer Nähe finden sich zahlreiche Cafés, Restaurants und Geschäfte. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und individuell eingerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das unglaublich nette und hilfsbereite Personal.
I didn't want to leave! The place looks amazing in the photos, but in reality it is even more stunning. Just off a busy street, but it is so peaceful and quiet, there's a beautiful garden and from the balcony you look directly onto a small rice field. The place is so thoughtfully and tastefully styled, and then the special touches like the the fresh welcome drink, the vase of flowers, not to mention the wonderful staff. I am already recommending Pino House to friends.
Shoka’s place is so comfortabele. Great bed and bathroom. Ambiance very instagramable and romantic 🧜♀️ Also her hospitality was great. We arrived way before checkintime, though shoka made sure we could get in right away.

This place is amazing. The house is decorated so beautifully and was extremely clean. There was such a homey feel to it and even offered filtered water in your room! I highly recommend staying here. Location: House is about a 20 min walk from Ubud Market and 15 minutes from the Monkey Sanctuary. It is also very close to the Yoga Barn! I thought it was a great location. Staff: Super friendly and were available at all the times I needed them! They brought me a mango welcome drink when I arrived but gave me my space throughout my stay. Room: The house itself is amazing and so beautiful. I felt like a princess waking up there and walking around the house. There is no AC but access to a fan. You have your own courtyard and porch which is so cool!

This house is literally the cutest!! My boyfriend and I stayed there for 5 days and everything was perfect. It’s beside the city center and the monkey forest which is great because you can do a lot of things by walking. Also the housemaids were very nice and friendly, I suggest to talk to them for renting a scooter or tours of anykind. I highly recommand this lovely house :)

If you want to stay in Ubud Centre, House Pino is a good place to start exploring the Ubud's main hub. The cottage is quaint, well kept, comfortable and feels perfectly integrated with the local culture. Shoka is an extremely responsive and helpful hosts. Housekeeping is prompt and friendly. Amazing, amazing, amazing stay!! Beautiful listing. Can’t begin to tell you how happy we were in House Pino! Fantastic location, not in the Ubud center so you skip the crowd, but you still get everything you need (restaurants, massage, stores) 30 seconds away. Staffs were incredibly helpful and just so kind, they helped keep our place so clean every single day. Sometimes, we’d be in a rush and leave our clothes around, just to come back to neatly folded clothes on our bed! One of us got sick upon arrival, and Shoka and her staffs even offered to cook us some porridge and showed us the way to clinic and hospital. Definitely recommend this place!! :)
This place is exactly as pictured. It is amazing . Quite but close to main st monkey forest and restaurant. Rice paddy view . Gardens amazing . Very tranquil. Highly recommended. Especially for romantic couples get away . Would definitely stay there again if ever in Ubud

We had a really great time at the house. It’s located near anything you would need, laundry, convenience store, supermarket and restaurants. When you stay at house at night it’s quite even though it’s only 50m from main road. The house is enough size for 2 adults. Very pretty house! We would like to stay again next time!

We loved this accomodation!! The interior is simply fabulous and having a small kitchen comes really handy! Shoka and the others were super friendly and lovely with us, we could even rent a scooter from them and it was super convenient. We were also welcomed with a Dragon Fruit juice that was simply delicious :) The house is in front of a rice paddy, unfortunately when we stayed they had already done the harvest but I am sure that it must be magnificent when the rice is growing! The house was also cleaned everyday and provided with new towels. The location is also perfect, you are in Ubud but you don't even realise it. The house is away from the street so you don't hear any noise but at the same time, with just 10 minutes walk, you are in Ubud center. There are also many restaurants very close by and a super market. Definitely recommended!

A beautifully place that made us feel very comfortable. This place suited my wife and I perfectly. The staff was lovely, welcoming and very helpful in organising transport.
Clean, cozy, and serene. The staff made this stay for me- they were friendly, helpful. Shower was great- strong water pressure, hot shower. Water jug made it very convenient. Quiet balcony. Mini-mart /atm/SIM stand is a 2 minute walk. Grocery store / Yoga Barn about 7 minutes. They made offerings and put them on the front porch every day. The bed is on the firmer side, but still comfortable. There were a few things that could have been better for me. One was that breakfast was not included (tradeoff for stove and fridge but many homestays in the area include breakfast and were half the rental price as this one). I would recommend including breakfast. The other was that the bathroom connected with the other rental next door and I could hear every movement / cough when the couple was in the shower. So it wasn’t as private of a bungalow as I would have liked.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived it was pouring rain and they picked us up at the front with umbrellas and carried our luggage into the house. The location was great, it was close to numerous restaurants, shops and monkey forest. Highly recommend this place to others!

Beautiful space - I loved being so close to everything (just a few minutes' walk to one of Ubud's main streets) and so quiet and private when I was back 'home.' That'ss a difficult combination to find in the busy centre of Ubud. The accommodation is beautifully designed using local materials, so it's the opposite of staying in an anonymous resort anywhere in the world ... you know you are in Bali! The small kitchen is extra handy. The hugely kind staff clean and tidy up after you every day, which becomes hard to leave!
House Pino is a great getaway place in heart of Ubud. Just a few steps from the road. Calm and serene. Many restaurants, cafes nearby. Money exchange offices also within 2 mins walk. the place is clean and the bed is comfortable. basic kitchen is available for cooking with basic utensils at your disposal. a refrigerator as well. there is a small balcony(varhanda) on the front side and is a nice place to sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. the caretaker, though she cannot speak much English is sensitive to your requirements and uses google translate to communicate. she was very helpful. scooter is available for rent which is a huge plus. the taxi driver Ketut recommended by Shoka was a young enthusiastic person who took us from house Pino to Airport at 300k which is reasonable. the only thing I though was the face of AC was not towards the bed and since the room is big, it takes time for the room to get cool. I recommend the AC should be mounted facing the bed. But all in an an excellent experience at excellent cost. I would definitely recommend this place.
This is a lovely villa close to shops, spas and restaurants in Ubud. A short walk to the Monkey Forest and markets aren’t to far away. Nice and quiet with everything you need. It’s a very traditional built villa with a lovely 4 post king bed. Ideal for a couple looking for a retreat from the busy world. We’ll be back for another stay.
PERFECT Ubud Hideaway! What a great little home, nestled in the perfect spot in Ubud to get to everything. The house is walking distance to everything! it is just far enough off the road to get a quiet, restful nights sleep, and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee in the morning on the porch. The housekeeper Mrs Ketut was such a sweetheart, and was available anytime to help in any way she can. I honestly can't say enough great things about this place! House Pino is the perfect home stay in Ubud. It is very centrally located to all Ubud’s attractions and anything else you may need. On arrival, Ms. Ketut and family were so welcoming and if we needed anything I always felt we could ask. There is also a motorbike and helmets available to rent at the property which was the icing on the cake for us. It made it so easy to get around and see everything. We had been travelling around for a little while before coming to Ubud and it was so nice to have such a beauftiful and cosy place to chill for a few days, sitting in and preparing our own food. Shoka is brilliant, was very accommodating when we needed to change or arrival date and always replied quickly with suggestions/directions/advice. She helped us organise a taxi transfer to our next destination with Mr. Ketut. I would highly recommend this as he is very professional and super interesting to talk with! The perfect stay!
We absolutely loved staying at Shoka's place. It is such a beautiful house! Even though it is located close to the main street, it was very quiet. Also, you are close by many restaurants which we loved. However, it is about a 2km walk to the art market and temples as for example the Saraswati Temple. In the mornings, we enjoyed using the little kitchen to make fresh fruit salads for breaktfast which was lovely. The place was always very clean and check-in was easy. Thank you again Shoka for having us, we really enjoyed our stay :)

Cet endroit est vraiment très joli. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et la maison typique très bien décorée dans le style balinais. Le lieu est très calme et pourtant idéalement situé près de la Monkey Forest. Les équipements sont simples mais suffisants. Nous avons eu un très bon contact avec Shoka qui nous a trouvé un chauffeur dès l’aéroport a un très bon prix et qui nous a très précisément indiqué l’emplacement de la maison. Le lit immense est très confortable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
This quiet piece of heaven just off a main road was the perfect location. I was in the middle of great shopping n restaurants within a few meters walk. I had a view of a rice field. The locals were kind n helpful. I’d love to stay there again! 5 stars.

위치가 아주 좋고, 찾기도 쉽습니다. 직원도 친절하고, 우붓만의 정취를 느낄 수 있는 숙소였습니다. The location was easy to find. The staff was nice and kind. It was beautiful accommodation to enrich experiences in Unud.
Shoka’s place is hard to find, but she’ll give you great directions. Her staff are great, and Shoka’s quick communication with them was so helpful. Everything very thoughtful - a lantern/light for blackouts, fresh flowers on the patio. There was music playing most evenings which was a little loud, but we didn’t mind. We would stay here again 😀

Shokas place is a must see. A little hut in a back alley next to a rice field. The staff is super friendly and provides you with help. The hut itself is even more beautiful in real life and provides you with everything you need. The hut is located in a back alley, you can hear live music of nearby Restaurants on your balcony if you choose. It is quiet and not far from main road and city center. There are great Restaurants right on your doorstep as well as shops and transportation services like perama. Shoka provided us with transportation from denpasar airport. I fully recommend you to visit this lovely hut if you have the chance.

Wow! What a gorgeous little bungalow, if you're all about the aesthetic then this place is just beautiful. Two lovely bungalows in a gorgeous little garden. The room is huge and it felt really private like you were there on your own. It rained for alot of our stay but it's the kind of place where you would happily stay in bed on a rainy day. The only thing I would say is that the noise coming from the Main Street was abit loud at night aswell as a lot of noises from animals outside. Great value for money and would happily stay here again!
This place has a very nice design and the host is very thoughtful about supplying tissues/ toilet papers, hair dryer, and many amunities for cooking.
We stayed at this little hidden gem for a week and loved it. Although we thought bugs and mosquitos were going to be a problem we bought some mosquito repellent and with the supplied mosquito net everything was totally fine! The loveable family that live on site were adorable and were one of the main things that made our trip in Ubud so fantastic. They arranged a scooter and were always on hand if we needed anything. The house itself is extremely charming and really unique - it felt like a little home and we really enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely come back. :) Thanks guys!
The whole place is just in front of a small rice field, really calm and relaxing (no traffic jam noises). You can enjoy hearing few crickets and frogs by evening. The monkey forest is 10 mins walk and everything is just on the main road. You can easily rent a scooter to go wherever you want (better to move quickly, even to restaurants in the very center). The room is nicely furnished with good taste, clean and everything you would need: from hairdryer to rice cooker, fridge, kitchenette...beautiful! Definitely worth, I’ll recommend it and I’ll surely book again if I’ll come back to Bali! Simply loved it!!

Shoka’s place was thoughtfully built and decorated, we had a lovely stay. The bathroom was huge, had great ventilation and the king size bed could easily fit 3-4 adults or a young family of 4-5. Lots of massage place around and Jaen Spa was just opposite the main street. Highly recommended if you are looking for a secluded unique space just 20m off the main street.
Such a lovely place to start my Bali adventure! House Pino was as charming as the photos. The "outdoor" shower and bathroom were a treat (though watch out for mosquitoes!), and I felt like a princess in the beautifully decorated, white bungalow.

Waking up in the morning, we were greeted by the sound of the bees in the garden and a rice paddy in front of the place. We could have think that we were staying in the outskirts of Ubud such as Tegalalang. But we’re not. We’re pretty much in the center of Ubud. Not far from the bustling Jl. Hanoman, Monkey forest, and Central Market. The staffs are nice and helpful. Thank you, Shoka. 🏡

Shoka's House Pino is a wonderful place to stay in Ubud if you wish to have a peaceful stay as well as to be close to the city center. My partner and I loved the thoughtful touch on the design and every detail of the house. Would defo come back.
Shoka’s place was such a delight. Truly a hidden gem amongst the busy streets of Ubud. In walking distance to most everything. She was very responsive for all of my requests and the service was above and beyond with accomadating laundry and a parking spot. Thank you for everything. We will be back!

It's both secluded yet right off of the main strip in Ubud. I felt extremely comfortable walking around as a female solo traveler, so nothing to fear! The main street is extremely busy, but you'll love how quickly you can access restaurants, shops, and markets. Also an easy walk to Monkey Forest. The villa is so unique and well kept! Just be aware that you are in Ubud so bring your bug spray and use the bug net provided. Lovely unique experience! Thank you!
Shokaさんは日本の方なので日本語で連絡ができ、しかも返信が素早くストレスがありませんでした。ヴィラは清潔に保たれていて、タオルなども綺麗です。ホテルにありがちな「照明が暗すぎる」ことが無く、室内での作業も楽でした。エアコンも効きがいいです。シャワーはお湯がすぐに出ますし、温度も安定しています。管理人さんが同じ敷地内にファミリーで住んでいて、彼女に頼むと格安で洗濯や町中への送迎をしてくれました。大変助かりました。いい休日を過ごせたことに感謝します。
Shoka's place was beautiful, the space was super attentive to detail and cute. It is a short stroll away from Ubud centre, yet it still maintains its tranquility and quietness. The front patio was also really nice, surrounded by a lush green front garden. The host was also very responsive in communication. Thanks Shoka.
Shoka’s place felt like a home away from home. Perfectly located within walking distance to the center, yet tucked away from all the noise. The space is beautiful. Everything from the details in the bathroom to the wood finish in the bedroom. The second we arrived we wanted to extend our stay (and we did). Shoka was more than accommodating, quick to respond and seamlessly set up a driver for our departure (who was fantastic!). I highly recommend to any and everyone visiting Ubud.
Shoka and her property manager Lakshmi are two of the most amazing people ever. Not only they were super helpful and accommodations were great,- they even helped us out with a injured kitten we found. After we left they took over as their caretaker and medical care. It is reflective of the kind of people they are. Utterly beautiful people. Five stars all the way.

Shoka’s guest home is beautiful, spacious and clean, in a great location. The home is on a main road but tucked back on a side street, so you get the quiet and privacy while still being close to the action! Only a 10 minute walk to the Monkey Forest and awesome restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!
This place is beautiful and in a wonderful location. It just a minute walk off one of the main streets but feels like your own secluded paradise. Its a close walk to Monkey Forest, Yoga Barn, and many other Ubud top things to do and see. Would definitely choose to stay here again.
Our stay at Shoka's beautiful bungalow was such a nice surprise. The home was cosy, beautifully decorated and well thought out. The gardens surrounding it were a dream and the location was nice and easy for walking around Ubud. Would definitely stay there again!
Shoka’s house is located on a quiet street near a busy area with all the restaurants / bars and yoga studio. The house is quite stylish and overlooking a tiny garden and rice field. Communication was really easy with Shota and made our stay very easy!
This is a beautiful home to stay in, walkable to the main streets for shopping, eating, and monkey forest. The place itself is down a quiet lane and is undeniably beautiful. We enjoyed having full amenities incl a kitchen and a pretty patio to lounge on. Highly recommended for couples for a romantic getaway in the heart of Ubud.

Shoka’s house met all of our needs for our 3 week stay in Ubud. It was a central location—walkable to many restaurants, shops and yoga, but off the main road just enough to be quiet and peaceful, and the lush landscape makes you feel like you’re in a private resort. The house was well appointed and very comfortable, the AC worked well, the bed was great and the kitchen allowed us to cook in on occasion. Shoka was very helpful and responsive to all of our requests to ensure we had a wonderful stay, and her housekeeper was kind and helpful as well. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to relax in Ubud.
I really love House Pino. A very homy, neat, and tidy (and value-for-money) house. It felt like I was staying in a clean traditional Balinese house. There was no trade off between accessing central Ubud and staying in a quite place. I really like how the host and her staff pay attention to small details that really mattered, e.g. providing umbrellas, cooking utensils. The host and her staff were also really helpful during my stay. Would love to stay here again for my next visit!

This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! Amazing little house- absolutely beautiful space, and set enough off the main road that it felt really quiet and removed (only noise was ducks), but still safe and well-lit. Very central to restaurants/yoga/activities in Ubud. The housekeeper, Laksmi, was super lovely as well- she brought me fresh mango juice when I arrived, and kindly took care of laundry really inexpensively. Highly, highly recommend!
A hidden Gem down a tiny path close to all the happenings in Ubud but yet a private magical place. I would stay here again and it actually makes me want to live here.
This accomodation is great value for money. A beautiful open house right next to vegie and rice gardens and just off the main street. A quiet serene place with beautiful decor and all the ammenities you need. We loved our stay here and the host communicated really well with us.
It is a very, very worthy of recommendation to stay, believe me, will want to come back again

Die Unterkunft ist einfach super! Wir haben unsere zwei Nächte hier sehr genossen. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Bad ist umwerfend und der Wasserdruck der Duche ist stärker als ich es sonst kenne.

Shoka's place is beautiful and very relaxing to spend time at. We found it clean, the staff are lovely and helpful but it's private also. It's about 1-2 minutes walk from a main rd, so it's quiet and peaceful but still easy walking distance to lots of good cafes/restaurants and also very close to the monkey forest which our daughter loved! The staff set up a mattress for our daughter to sleep on which Shoka warned it might be a bit of a small space to put an extra mattress in, but we found it to be fine, not cramped at all! In the listing there's a picture of some water which I thought might be an issue having to constantly watch a two year old with, or that mosquitos might be a problem. But it's a photo of the rice paddy outside which didn't have much water when we were there and there was a door out on to the path so we could close it so our daughter didn't go near it anyway. And the mozzies weren't an issue at all. Shoka was great with giving directions and other information and was even so generous to bring us something we had left behind, all the way to Seminyak. We really appreciated everything and really enjoyed our stay at Pino House!
Nice house, close to the restaurants and next to a supermarket. Hire a scooter for 50k a day (next to supermarket) and you can get everywhere in town in a few minutes. The mainroad is busy, but house Pino is behind it, so its more quiet.

House of Pino is a magical and incredibly peaceful location to explore Ubud. This amazing and thoughtful location feels a world away from the bustling streets, yet close to everything you need, including great yoga classes, good food and motor bike hire. We especially enjoyed a bottle of wine on the front balcony, listening to the frogs and ducks. This is a place you could settle in for days, weeks, months and I wish I could. Thank you Shoka!
Let me share a quick note: communication was outstanding! I arrived feeling very ill and was easily able to communicate the need for early check-in which was accommodated with ease. Her staff was extremely attentive to my needs and even brought me food and drinks to help me feel better. Once I was back on my feet, I enjoyed the area and house pino. It's extremely clean, well maintained and easy walking to great food and culture.

Beautiful! Amazing location as it is steps away from restaurants and shops but still so peaceful. Kind and accommodating staff. Shoka was quickly available to answer any question I had via email. Every detail of the home was stunningly picturesque. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!!! Absolutely perfect!!

Das Haus war ein Bijout mit einem Styling aus wunderschöner Handwerksarbeit in jeder Ecke. Ich fühlte mich rundum wohl in diesem sehr geschmackvollen Häuschen. Es war sehr sauber, das Bett sehr bequem und Shoka war per Mail und SMS sehr gut zu erreichen bei Fragen. Ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt im Haus, mit der Umgebung und Nachbarschaft. Herzlichen Dank und ich kann das Haus Pino nur empfehlen, Eveline aus der Schweiz

We loved staying at Shoka and Maya's place!! The house is charming, comfortable, and is a lot bigger and more spacious than it seems from the photos. It was like living in a romantic fairy tale. The location is a 1 min walk off of one of the main streets in Ubud but when you get to the house it is quiet peaceful and serene, you can't hear any noise from the road. There is a nice veranda with seating overlooking a cute well manicured garden and a beautiful rice paddy. Amazed at how nice a place you can rent for so little. Hosts were very attentive an accommodating as well. It was a great experience I highly recommend it.
