Exploring Huge Canggu Lux Villa Walk 2 Beach & Entertainment left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Huge Canggu Lux Villa Walk 2 Beach & Entertainment was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kuta Utara plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Huge Canggu Lux Villa Walk 2 Beach & Entertainment painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

I have mixed feelings about my stay at this villa. I’ll start with the positives- It’s absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. The on site staff are darling and we left taking group selfies and laughing- they are wonderful and will go out of their way to make you happy. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in in my entire life. Dreamy. The location is also very central (although it should be noted it’s not tucked away so you will get some street noise and construction noise. For me this was not really problematic I just couldn’t tell from The listing ) What ended up being kind of a bummer for me was some of the communication with the host. He seemed to be convinced I was having more people to the villa than allowed, throwing parties, or otherwise breaking house rules. He also had the staff lock the second bedroom after my first night in the villa, which I found odd, considering I paid for the entire villa. I hoped to use that second room as work space for me as I run an online business. Peter claimed that I had paid the “one bedroom” price which isn’t so. The listing is not charged per bedroom used but by total occupants. Yes, I was a solo traveler however I paid for the entire villa and should have had full access whether I chose to use the second room or not, or I should have been given the option to receive a small discount if I didn’t use the second room at all (saving electricity, cleaning, and laundry costs). This was not explained upon booking nor checkin, which left me feeling untrusted by the host. Overall this amounted me to struggling to fully relax, and feel like I could have privacy without question in the villa. Although I did reach out to Peter to check in on this, it just ended up feeling weird and souring my stay. I was nothing but transparent and communicative about my intentions to have a friend over for lunch (which I felt like was a bit extreme that I even had to ask). So overall- this is a wonderful place. I’m guessing not a ton of solo travelers choose this villa because it may be cost prohibitive. I loved the space and would love to come back, but I would need to feel trust from the host in order to relax and fully enjoy my time. Last thing to note- the villa is meticulously cleaned daily. Down to every dead leaf removed from the property. While this does lead to a feeling of luxury and pampering, it also means the staff can be on site for several hours. If you are desiring more privacy, I suggest requesting abbreviated cleaning which will be much faster. There are a few things that needed to be tended to daily (which you’ll want anyway because of how many critters there are in Bali), but if you want alone or romantic couples time in the villa, you may want to opt out of breakfast or thorough daily cleaning. If you’re going to be out and about then the full cleaning won’t be a problem. As much as I loved the staff I often found myself wondering - you’re still here?! Haha. I suspect I may be an exception based on all of the reviews. It really is a beautiful villa and I think you’ll enjoy your stay. Just be sure in your communication with the host that your planned activities are a fit.

Stayed 3 nights with our 3 and 6 years old kids. Positive: Beautiful house Tastefully decorated Great service from Ayu and her mother on whatever you need, breakfast, welcoming, etc. Super comfy beds Negative: A bit noisy from the street. We had a great stay. Thanks again!

Everything was what we expected. Canggu was a bit cramped & busy nowadays. That's the only downfall. But the villa itself is gorgeous, I would say. And Ayu & her Mom are very polite & accommodating.

Wow - the photo's don't lie, this place is absolutely gorgeous. Centrally located in Canggu (close to all the nice restaurants like eg. Crate). It felt like a safe heaven and since we stayed 4 nights during the whole 'you know which-virus' that was exactly what we needed. Ayu was a sweetheart who made us breakfast everyday and hoped us with renting a scooter/laundry/any questions we had. The villa itself has everything you need and more. Unfortunately it seems like we all have to stop traveling for a while - but in the future come back to Bali and stay in this villa:)

This place is absolutely beautiful! The on site staff are very sweet and excellent cooks! Similarly to the Emily who reviewed prior, we (party of 2) were also locked out of the second bedroom (and we booked literally 6 months in advance) after the first night despite the listing being for a two-bedroom villa. Otherwise, the stay was very nice and Canggu is a beautiful area of Bali. The villa does have a scooter you can rent for $5 per day, which is necessary since the beach is about a 20-25 minute walk away.

Really incredible space - Great for 2+ guests

We didn't want to leave! We stayed at Wayan's villa in Pererenan for nine nights in September, three generations of us with a 12-year-old and a toddler, and we absolutely loved it. The villa is beautiful, peaceful and so comfortable that some days we didn't want to go out at all. Ayu and Katut made our stay. They were warm, kind and always one step ahead, and their cooking was a real highlight. We looked forward to every meal they made for us. When one of us got sick partway through, they couldn't have been more caring. It felt like staying with family. Great location too, close to everything in Pererenan and Canggu but still quiet. We'd come back in a heartbeat and would recommend it to any family. Thank you Wayan, Ayu and Katut!

Amazing villa very well designed. We loved our stay and really appreciated how nice Ayu is and how helpful she was. Great location too right in the center of Canggu. Outdoor showers are fantastic. Overall great place, very clean and very well managed. We will definitely stay there again whenever in Canggu.

Die Villa ist wunderschön und mit sehr viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und eingerichtet. Sowohl der Innen- als auch der Aussenbereich sind noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos! Das Grundstück liegt an einer kleinen, lebendigen Verbindungsstraße und ist dadurch sehr gut erreichbar. Es wird durch hohe, schön bepflanzte Mauern optisch von der Straße und angrenzenden Gebäuden abgetrennt. Ein herrlicher, stilvoller und privater Rückzugsort im trubeligen Canggu! Ein großer Dank geht an Ayu und Ketut, die sich mit einer unglaublichen Herzlichkeit um uns (und das Haus) gekümmert haben. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und die Kommunikation zu jeder Zeit sehr unkompliziert, extrem reaktionsschnell, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein tolles Team!!! Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall wieder buchen!

Fantastic Villa - Ayu and Ketut were the kindest and best hosts - the breakfasts were incredible and they looked after us so well with restaurant, spa and activity recommendations. The accommodation was stunning, though as its glass walls in the bedrooms and on a busy road, the noise at night was a lot but it was worth it being walking distance to so many great restaurants and spas. Just bring earplugs! We loved it.

We had such a great stay here and would happily come back again. Ayu was amazing from the moment we arrived. Her and her mum looked after us so well throughout our stay. They made us breakfast every morning, helped organise our washing with a next day turnaround, and were always available if we needed anything. The villa is in an incredible location. Everything is so close by. Some of Canggu's best cafes, restaurants, shops and gyms are all within walking distance, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. The villa was always spotless. The cleaning was done to a very high standard and the pool was cleaned regularly as well. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the property. The only small negatives were the bugs and the lighting in the bathroom at night. The bathroom was quite dark in the evenings which made showering and getting ready a little difficult. Apart from that, we genuinely loved our stay. The hospitality from Ayu and her mum really made it special!

This was booked for my 50th birthday surprise and it has been one of the best experiences of my life. I cannot express my gratitude for the time we had during our stay. The villa is beautiful beyond words. Ayu and Ketut are the most beautiful people. Nothing is too much trouble. Their food is out of this world. We will miss them dearly. We will never forget how kind and helpful they were to us. The massages from Ketut were phenomenal. They do everything from a place of love. Words can’t really express how amazing this holiday was for us. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We truly hope to visit again very soon. You really must experience this accommodation and the beautiful team.

Stay here. It is the most beautiful villa and the kindest staff.

This is seriously one of those locations where I’m reluctant to give such a glowing review because I wanna keep it to myself. But that would not be fair to others. If you’re looking for an amazing experience and service that exceeds your expectations, this is the Villa for you. The staff felt like family from the very beginning and the accommodations were exactly as advertised. I could not give a better review of the place.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the villa. The property itself was beautiful, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations in every way. It truly felt like a private oasis. What made the experience even more memorable were Ayu and Ketut. Their warmth, kindness, and attention to detail really elevated our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after. The photos of this joint do not do it justice Walking in we were completely wowed. It is a complete oasis in the heart of Canggu. Bedrooms huge, living areas huge. Pool and outdoors is just amazing. Transfers with recommended driver was seamless. Check in seamless, Ayu and her mother are completely delightful and very helpful throughout the stay. Their breakfast and smoothies are just amazing. Also very kind and sweet with the children. Walking distance to an array of different cafes and restaurants. Great morning coffee within a few minute walk to Crate. We had an incredible stay at this villa in Canggu. The location is absolutely perfect, and the villa itself is beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained. Ayu, the villa manager, took care of everything we needed and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She and her mother were truly amazing so kind, attentive, and welcoming. We had an amazing time at Wayan property. It really is a stunning villa. Ayu and her Mum were outstanding hosts, cooked us breakfast every morning and cleaned the villa. It was like brand new each day. The bedrooms are so beautiful , with outdoor shower and in one room outdoor bath. The pool was perfect and we loved sitting out there in the evening. We loved the design throughout. The sunken living roof was fab for having a drink in the evening. It was possible to walk to Alchemy for lunch which we found to be better than Crate. And you can also walk to Echo beach within 25/30 mins so a really great location. We drank and ate at The Lawn beach club . We got super cheap Ubers around. Canggu has amazing bars and restaurants we really enjoyed Yuki for dinner. We also enjoyed a couple of massages by Ayus mum , and we stayed in one night and Ayu and her mum cooked us an Indonesian feast which was so incredible and tasty. We would love to come back in the future. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. Ayu and her Mum and all the staff were so lovely and cooked wonderful breakfasts each day and the massages were great. Rooms were cleaned daily as well as the entire property. The beds are super comfy and great pillows and beautifully soft bedding. We slept so well. Ayu was very helpful with restaurants and local supermarkets etc. The architecture of the villa is beautiful and was a huge part of my decision making in booking the villa. The Joglo style mixed with modern furnishings. The pool was so refreshing. It’s deep so the water temp is perfect - the water doesn’t get too hot like some other villas. The villa is also walking distance to some great local cafes and shops and the Gojek or Grab apps work well and it’s so easy to get everywhere. We will be back! The villa is EPIC and is exactly like the photos (if not, better than the photos!) Lots of cute restaurants and shops within walking distance. Ayu and her mother were the best hosts inside the villa - they cooked us breakfast every morning with fresh smoothies and kept the place immaculate! The mattress and pillows were super comfy (not the terrible flat squished pillows you usually get in hotels and other Airbnb's). The only negative things I would say is that it is quite noisy next to the road so in the early morning, you can hear the motorbikes. The outdoor showers in both room are also incredibly open and exposed (only to the room itself; not to public areas) so keep in mind if that's a preference. (I personally prefer something a bit more enclosed/private even when its an outdoor shower) However, both the noise and the showers wouldn't stop me from booking this place again. We had such a wonderful time; thank you to Wayan, Ayu and Ayu's mum for making it such a great stay!

Amazing place to stay in Canggu for 8 days. The villa is actually nicer than the photos, and that's saying a lot. Its truly a work of art. Perfect place to relax, take a swim or do some yoga. Great location a block from some of our favorite organic restaurants (Alchemy/Vida). Short 15min. walk to the beach. Great shopping. And I had daily massages up the street at a killer spa.

This is without a doubt the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in a lot of nice ones. Ayu and her mother are incredible hosts and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. The breakfast they cook is amazing and I recommend you also book a massage. One of the best I’ve ever had. This place is a 10/10. If I tried really hard to be critical all I’d say is that the hot water tank is quite small. We tried to have a bath and could only fill with hot water about 1/20th of the way before it was cold. So the bath is kind of a write off. Also at night lots of scooters zip by so it can be a bit loud until around 1130. Those are extremely minor in compared to have incredible this place is. Amazing location super easy to find and impeccably clean. I look forward to staying here again some day. Also the beds are incredibly comfortable. Thank you!

Firstly I would just like to thank Ayo for our stay at Wayans accommodation. She made the stay perfect for my friends and I. We asked for her to cook for us one night and the food was lovely, she went above and beyond for our stay with her team. It is a beautiful villa, we actually think the pictures do not do the villa justice. It was so large and beautifully decorated throughout. We would highly recommend staying at Wayans villa. It is a short 20 minute stroll to the beach and there are restaurants and amenities nearby.

I have been coming to Bali three consecutive years and stayed at multiple villas in various parts of Bali. This villa by far exceeds all the other villas I've stayed at. Not only is the villa beyond beautiful, it is also walking distance to all the Canggu attractions and the beds are extremely comfortable. Ayu and her mom make you feel right at home. They are super sweet and attentive. One of the primary reasons I came back to the same villa is because Ayu's mom gives the best massages and she treats you like family. Let's not forget their cooking... chef's kiss! Trust me, you will not regret it. If anything, you'll regret not staying there longer!

This place was absolutely beautiful—like living right in the heart of nature! Everything was spotless and so peaceful, the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The host was truly wonderful, preparing a delicious breakfast every morning and keeping everything perfectly clean and welcoming. It felt like a home away from home, and I can’t recommend it enough!

The villa is exactly like the photos and an oasis away from the crowds and traffic off Canggu. It’s walkable to the beach but we usually took a Grab car, which was easy and quick. There are loads of restaurants in walking distance. Ayu and her mum were amazing hosts looking after us, cooking great breakfasts, and helping arrange trips. We were sad to leave, as it felt like saying goodbye to family.

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans cette villa et avons passé un très bon séjour. Ayu et sa maman nous ont réservé un très bon accueil et nous ont proposé de très bons petits déjeuners et ont toujours fait preuve d’une incroyable gentillesse. La maison est très bien placée à quelques centaines de mètres de deux rues principales de Canggu. Toutefois la rue juste à côté est bruyant, c’est un point à prendre en considération pour qui cherche une absolue quiétude.

Words cannot express how outstanding this villa is. in addition to the amazing villa are the absolutely incredible staff. Ayu and Ketut are highlight of the trip and we will be recommending this to others coming to Canggu.

The place was beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures (maybe even better). The staff was friendly, the place is well maintained and clean. Lots of places you can walk to including gym, atm, restaurants and shops. After our first day in the villa we already started talking about coming back, and we definitely will next time we’re in Bali.

The photos do not do the Villa any justice at all. It was amazing. Beautiful and peaceful. The staff on sight were delightful and very accommodating. I cannot give enough praise to them or their cooking!!! Try the feast it’s worth it. Wayan was beyond helpful when my husband became unwell. He put himself out to help us. The location was perfect 5-10 min walk from everything, quiet and safe. I am very fussy and couldn’t recommend this Villa highly enough. We will be back.

The villa was absolutely stunning and we loved our stay (wish we had stayed longer!!). The spaces were beautifully designed and perfect for us. Ayu, Ketut & Made were amazing!! They were so friendly, helpful and made us delicious breakfast/juices that were incredible. Before our arrival, Dane was extremely helpful and accommodating with his communication to ensure our arrival ran smoothly and our entire stay was made comfortable. When we arrived at the villa, we were greeted by Ayu and her mum, who were so friendly and welcoming. Ayu and her mum provided breakfast each morning, which was exceptional. The villa was clean, had a wide range of amenities provided, and furnished beautifully, which made us feel at home. Located within walking distance to shops made it convenient. Definitely would recommend this villa and would stay here again when we return to Bali.

Located right in the heart of Canguu, everything is a quick ride or Grab away. Dane was an extremely responsive host that immediately connected us with the housekeepers. They were there daily, constantly cleaning, cooking, even giving local recommendations as well as requested grocery shopping. Ayu and her mom Ketut were extensively welcoming and made us feel like family. Anything you need, they would be able to help you or give you a recommendation on the ins and outs of your trip. The rooms were constantly cold and clean which makes you not even want to leave your home on a hot Balinese day. The layout as well as the lighting makes for great Insta photos. I recommend this place for anyone and everyone. 10/10

Wow! Dane's villa was exceptional. Ayu & mum were an amazing team (every morning cooking the best Nasi Goreng) and cleaning the entire space ready for each day ahead. Dane provided a range of go-to's and must try's which took a lot of guess work out! Lots to do & in a prime location.

Es war ein unbeschreibliches Erlebnis die Villa. Die Villa war so viel schöner wie auf den Bildern. Abgesehen von der Villa war unser größter Highlight, dass wir 2 Personen wie Ayu und ihre Mutter kennenlernen durften. Es sind 2 unbeschreiblich nette und Herzens Menschen, wir werden sie aufjedenfall nicht vergessen und vermissen sie jetzt schon. Ich kann es jeden nur empfehlen.

Absolutely incredible stay at this Villa! This place is a dream home and so incredible. From the moment we walked in our jaws dropped.. so close to everything as well so location was great! Ayu and her mom hosted us so so well and the breakfast was 👌👌👌 Really set the bar for us to start our Bali trip but we will 1000% be staying at this Villa again.. absolutely 12/10!

I could write a lot about this house... I've never been in a more beautiful house. Everything has been thought out down to the smallest detail. It's really much more beautiful than the photos. Besides the beauty of the house, Ayu and her mother... When I left home, I was most saddened that I wouldn't be able to see them again (for a while🥹). They are ready to do anything for you, they are very kind and friendly. If I could give 10 points for this house I would give it 10 points. Thank you for everything, I hope we see you again❤️

The pictures do not do this wonderful villa justice, nor do they tell you how amazing , helpful and friendly Ayu, her mum and friend are. Very special people managing a special property. From general help, restaurants, moped, etc, to catering a beautiful Balinese supper, to massages. Hoping to get back some time in the future with the rest of our family. Highly recommend our whole experience in Kuta Utara.

We stayed for 6 nights last week and had THE MOST RELAXING Stay. Fantastic if you are looking for a relaxing holiday and chill in your own space, with daily breakfast made for you followed by a massage. Do as much as you want or as little as you want. Dane’s villa was 5/5! We had such a fabulous time here, better than expected. Ayu, Ketut and the team took such wonderful care of us, nothing was ever too much trouble. They even arranged a beautiful birthday dinner and cake for my son who turned 13 whilst in Bali. The area was great too, walking distance to so many great restaurants, cafes, boutiques, markets and the beach. Would highly recommend! Just book.

We were lucky enough to stay at the villa over New Year for 8 days. The Villa and staff (Ayu & Ketut) were exceptional and made our stay stress free and absolutely worth while! Ayu & Ketut cooked us a traditional Balinese dinner which we highly recommend and our little boy fell in love with them!! The Villa itself is stunning, spacious and has all the necessities and more. We can’t wait to be back!

We had a great stay at this villa - the rooms were spacious and clean with a lot of space to chill with family. Despite the rainy season we got to spend some quality time with our family from abroad during our reunion. The location is great and you can walk or use a scooter to get around easily. Hopefully we will return when it’s not rainy season so we can enjoy the villa even more!

This property deserves more than 5 stars. Be it amenities, interiors or hospitality from Ayu and her mother, I do not have words to describe that. Breakfasts were amazing and more than that, the way it was served, it makes it doubly tasty. Dane is super responsive for providing any information related to surroundings, restaurants etc. Also, they have scooters which my daughter enjoyed a lot. It makes things super fast and fun. Thank you Dane, Ayu and Team for memorable holiday.

Dane's home in Canggu is STUNNING and definitely lives up to its name "Huge Lux Villa". The private pool, garden and outdoor space is immaculately maintained. The bedrooms are super spacious, beds covered in soft comfortable linens, and the AC units worked fast and efficiently to cool down the entire space – a must if you want to get a good nights sleep in the Bali heat. The main living space was also very comfortable and the kitchen well appointed – we are totally obsessed with the sunken living room design! The real stars of our stay was house manager Ayu and her mom, Ketut. Ayu was available via message for the entirety of our stay, very responsive and helped us arrange everything – transport to our next destination, scooter rental (available through the Villa!), laundry service (provided by Ayu and Ketut), 2 massages for my wife (Ketut does massage on site!) and fresh breakfast made at the villa each morning at whatever time we wanted. We were very well taken care of!

Truly wonderful stay - the layout, design and outdoor areas are serene and beautiful. Ayu and her mum are fantastic hosts - could not find better. Dane is super helpful with great suggestions. Wow 🤩 Amazing , impressive, just book it NOW you won’t be disappointed, the place is beautiful, we arrived at night with all the lights on and were blown away , it was huge , bigger than shown in photos and very stylish and super comfortable and clean . We were welcomed by the most friendliest, nicest ladies you will ever meet Ketut and her daughter Ayu become like family to us . Their breakfast was amazing , Ketut’s smoothies were so yummy and Ayu’s omelette was just delicious . Ketut’s massage was very therapeutic she fixed a lot of ailments I have this is a must. Ayu was super helpful with organising absolutely anything at all . This whole experience made our first time in Bali very memorable. 발리에서 지낸 숙소는 너무나 완벽했습니다. 늦은시간에 도착했음에도 불구하고 아이유는 너무나 친절 했습니다. 또한 공항으로 픽업이 가능해 매우 편하게 숙소에 갈 수 있었고 매일 아침에 제공 되는 조식은 즉석에서 조리해주셔서 매우 신선하고 맛있습니다. 매일 청소도 해주시고 수영장도 자주 관리해 주시더라구요. 마지막 날은 떠나기 아쉬웠습니다. 다음 기회에 또 발리로 여행을 오게 된다면 다시 방문하고 싶은 숙소 입니다. 발리에서 지낸 시간이 아이유의 친절에 너무 행복했습니다.

We had a fabulous time at this villa. Stepping into the villa from the extremely busy roads was a relief and vey tranquil. The villa is beautifully laid out with many zoned spaces and we loved the privacy. Within the villa there are a few sets of steps and some quite big steps which may be challenging for some guests. Ayu and Ketut were wonderful, very accommodating and knowledgeable which was very much appreciated. Highly recommend for those wanting to stay in the heart of Canggu.

Wonderful stay. The location for us was perfect, lots of good places to eat within walking distance. Ayu & Ketut were wonderful and took great care of us. The space was way more than we needed as there was 3 of us but we still felt cosy and at home.

We had an amazing stay at Dane Place in Canggu. The place is even more beautiful and stunning in person. My family enjoyed the Villa and its location in Canggu makes it both private and central to all the entertainment, and beach access you need. Ayu and her Mother whom maintain and manage the property are beautiful and amazing people. Their kindness and hospitality was so welcomed and no request was too much. The daily breakfast was great at the villa and Ayu’s mom also gave my wife and daughter amazing Balinese style massages by the pool.Definitely not to be missed and highly recommend you request. We ended up using Gede the driver they recommended the entire week we were in Bali as he was kind, spoke great English and was fun to be around. If you are looking for a great spot that you will feel pampered and privileged while you are in Canggu then book this place right away.

They couldn’t have been more helpful, from cooking us the most delicious breakfast each day, keeping the villa pristine, washing, groceries, airport pickup/drop off and babysitting for very reasonable prices. We couldn’t rave about our stay at Dane’s anymore than we already are! Better than the photos - if you can even believe that. Location was great to get around by scooter - all nice restaurants very close. Ayu and staff were so beautiful and friendly and honestly don’t even question yourself twice about whether you should book here or not - DO IT!!! One heads up is that there is a loud clubby restaurant near by that has loud music and singing but it does close at 11pm, so not a huge deal but just something to be aware of. If you’re noise sensitive and an early sleeper, just bring ear plugs. Can’t wait to return (or try Dane’s other gorge listings!).

Ayu (the housekeeper) was so easy to liaise with via messaging prior to our arrival. Staff were super friendly and very unobtrusive. Ayu was also very informative on the local area and always happy to help with any request. House was very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We travelled with 2 young children. Note the road doesn’t have a pavement/sidewalk so we didn’t stroll the streets. We utilised gojek for car pick ups, which was so easy. Great house for families and friends.

Firstly, let’s give appreciation to the charming villa manager, Ayu & her incredibly funny mum who are dedicated in making sure your stay is as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. The villa itself is set on a private and tranquil plot, surrounded by lush green landscaped gardens and a lovely swimming pool - it certainly has that "wow” factor.

we had an awesome time in dane's villa in Canggu. It was my in law's first time to visit bali and they were so happy with the villa as well as what bali had to offer. my wife and I have been to bali 3 times and the villa is the only one that is well maintained and looks exactly as advertised. it was so much worth the amount paid and made the trip even more memorable. everything was great especially Ayu and her team who made sure the villa was cleaned everyday and everything was working as needed. Her mom made wonderful breakfast too daily. Couldn't have asked for the better place and host. My father in law is already looking forward to bringing the rest of the family back for a visit.

Really beautiful villa with enough privacy between guests due to separate living area and bedrooms. Centrally located pool between living area n bedrooms gives the space a much more flexible options of either staying in either side of the property but still able to overlook the pool area. Ayu and team has been exceptional and brekkie offered were excellent. We had scrambled eggs W avo on toast most days and it's on par with any popular cafes in Canggu! We will definitely be back to the same Villa if we stay in Canggu. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Stayed for 5 nights over NYE and have only positive things to say. The villa is better than in the pictures. Villa staff were amazing, so kind and helpful, and cooked a great bfast every day. The Villa is located just off the main street in Canggu, so everything is easily accessible. Another great thing is that the pool is deep and cool - a hard thing to find in Bali these days! Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Would give more than 5 stars if it was possible.

This Airbnb is super special as are the wonderful staff, Ayu and Ketut. The villa was absolutely next level luxury in the heart of Canguu. It is beautifully designed and crafted with a tranquil, tropical vibe and is incredibly comfortable. The villa is even much more spacious than it appears from the photographs with numerous areas to relax and chill. The pool and outdoor areas are serene and the perfect sanctuary from the hustle and bustle beyond the walls. Ayu and Ketut were delightful, incredibly attentive, kind and fun. Each morning they prepared a delicious breakfast and Ketut whipped up the best smoothies ever! The villa was only a short scooter ride to some of the best restaurants, cafes and bars in Canguu. Dane was also incredibly responsive and offered many suggestions for sightseeing and tips to make our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you so much for making our visit to Canguu perfect!

Wow. Our family had an exceptional time staying at the villa — from the hosts, to the pool, to the furniture and accommodations, to everything in between. The villa itself is stunning, and the hosts could not be more friendly! Ayu and Ketut helped make the stay more than we could have asked for with breakfast every morning, in villa massages, and more. There was minor noise, but it was drowned out by the water features so it did not bother us in the slightest. We felt safe 24/7 and right at home, plus it was a perfect location for walking to the beach, restaurants, etc. I could not recommend this property more.

I’ve been to Bali 30+ times and this was the first time taking my partner and our friends and wow! This is the greatest place I have ever stayed at. After reading all the reviews we knew it was going to be amazing but photos and reviews still don’t manage to do it justice. If you are thinking of booking this place just do it, it is absolutely breathtaking and not a single thing needs to be improved. I’ve seen some other reviews mention the traffic noise which was not an issue for us at all. We are already in the process of booking this villa again for our trip next year.

If you’re thinking about booking, just do it. This villa exceeded the description and photos online. It was squeaky clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. What truly made it incredible was Ayu and her mom. Both women greeted us with big smiles and breakfast each morning and Ayu was quick to respond when we had any questions. We’ll miss them both!

The villa was so comfortable, the pool the perfect temperature and Ketut’s Indonesia meal we organised for our arrival was delicious. Wonderful massage too! Great stay at the villa. Ayu and Ketut were charming and their Indonesian feast amazing - enough to feed us for two meals. The layout of the villa was perfect and we utilized the pool area and the living area every day. The roads around Canggu are very busy and wandering around is not easy because of road surface conditions but as we spent most of our time in the villa it was not too difficult

This property was amazing and spacious. The architecture was beautiful and makes you feel like you are staying in your own little palace. The villa consists of two separate private rooms with plenty of sitting area around the pool or the indoor common area. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Ayu was so sweet and efficient in arranging events or drivers for any location. She and her mother also made us a wonderful breakfast everyday. Such a unique villa with special hosts.

Staying at Ayu’s house in Canguu was the highlight of our trip to Bali. It was beautiful and serene and the Ayu and Ketut were absolutely wonderful. (Make sure you get them to cook you a dinner (loved her Pumpkin, potato curry soup). So glad we got to experience Canguu. Most people get around on a scooter. We are normally walkers and bikers, but getting around the city this way is a bit dicey. We hired a lot of drivers this trip. Maybe next time we will brave the wild scooters on the streets (after some motor cross lessons for me.) The architect of the home designed a beautiful work of art. The entire house and grounds are stunning. The word sapphire has new meaning to me as the pool day and night is like blue fire. Thank you again for a beautiful stay.

Beautiful accommodation, very nicely decorated and designed. Ayu and her mum are very friendly and helpful. There’s a great info sheet and map with their local recommendations. The property is huge. You can walk to lots of cafes and get a grab taxi to further away places for about $5 (Australian). Great internet and sound system. Daily housekeeping and breakfast included every day (except Sunday). Some grab drivers had trouble finding the villa, but we just used the restaurant 20 metres away as the location to overcome that. There’s some traffic noise, but that’s not surprising for a location in the centre of canggu. Beautiful stay, recommend!

this was the best start of our 3wk holiday with our kids 12 and 11. Ayu and her mother made the experience of the facility. the villa has everything you can wish for but the 5 star experience definitely came from the 2 ladies. the breakfast was sooo yummie ( loved the mie goring!) and that couch was just perfect to get rid of our jetlag. the surroundings of the villa were in a crowded part but we loved that vibe. we hope we can come back.

This might be the first place weve stayed that the property was BETTER than the photos. Amazing layout, staff, food, pool, room etc. Uh 10 stars easy.

Host was considered and always responsive. Ayu and Ketut met us with smiling faces and provided us with the best breakfast. The villa is everything it says it is. Our challenge was the traffic noise. Would recommend as the place to be if you want to be in amongst the action.

This Villa is incredible and exceeded all our expectations. It’s an architectural masterpiece, was extremely comfortable and in a great location to restaurants and boutiques. Ayu and Ketut were very welcoming, made the most wonderful breakfast, and even babysat. The kids adored them. Ayu was our point of contact and went above and beyond for us. I also had the best massage I’ve ever had with Ketut. Dane was great, gave excellent recommendations and was very responsive. The Villa was fantastic for us as a family of four and would work brilliantly for two couples as well. We will be booking again for next year! It was the highlight of our trip. We loved staying at the villa great location walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Ayu and Ketut cooking a beautiful breakfast and took great care of us. Ketut also gives a fabulous massage. The villa is on a busy road so there is traffic noise but it’s quiet during the night and the villa is still a very tranquil place. Will stay again.

This villa is amazing, even greater than the pictures. Nice looking and spacious rooms. Very nice living room and swimming pool area. The hosts are super nice, good breakfast and service. Would definitely stay there again. The only downside is a very busy road next to the house with constant traffic noise.

Stunning. We had a very relaxing three nights at Dane’s place. We preferred to stay in most of the time because it’s so beautiful and comfortable. We loved everything about our stay especially having the beautiful Ayu and her gorgeous mother around to make us feel comfortable. They cook breakfast every morning, fantastic, and they cooked us traditional Indonesian dishes one night for dinner, the food was amazing, forget the restaurants. I highly recommend you do it! Great location to shops, cafes, gyms, everything. It’s busy outside but peaceful once inside. We loved it and we would love to return.

First and foremost, Dane was great in accomodating all our requests, but Ayu and her mother, who handles the day to day are just amazing people. I highly recommend staying here, as everything about it was second to none!!

Ugen blev endnu bedre af det mest fantastiske og skønne team bestående af Ms Ayu og hendes moder, som altid var tilgængelige med gode råd til chauffør, spa etc. Deres morgenmad og dinner, som altid bestod af lokale retter, var alle smagfulde for øjne og sjæl, super lækkert. We stayed one week ad Dane's Villa and we where simply overwhelmed. I frankly never stayed at such fantastic place. Ayu and her mother really takes care of the guests. She organised everything for us (scooters, transport, etc) and was readily available. The indonesian dinner she cooked was an absolute highlight and highly recommended. Massages are available inhouse and also highly recommended. Thank you, Dane!

Don’t think twice. You won’t find anything better. Almost don’t want to share this villa as I’m afraid it will be even harder to book it next time! Wish we could stay much longer!

We had the best 5 nights at Dane’s beautiful villa. Dane is an amazing host - very responsive, helpful with organising transport and giving us excellent restaurant recommendations. Best of all he had Ayu and Ketut looking after us - they were wonderful! They keep the villa spotless, make great breakfasts, happily run errands to the shops and are fun babysitters - our twins adore them! Only downside is the road noise but you get used to it very quickly. We will be booking again and cannot wait.

WOW WOW WOW! I have to start with mentioning Ayu & Ketut the mother and daughter duo who made our stay exceptional! They made us feel at home and so looked after, they cooked the best breakfasts and Indonesian dinner feast, played with and babysat our 1 year old boy and kept the place looking immaculate. We really will miss them! The villa itself is just magical. The most luxurious accom I’ve ever stayed in… yet still so comfortable, practical and family friendly for our baby!! The floor to ceiling panels of glass are stunning. No matter where you sit, you get take in and enjoy the whole space and gardens. There are also curtains in the bedroom blocking out the light which worked great for our babies naps! Dane was great at communicating and organised the lovely Gedet to pick us up at the airport! There is nothing at all to fault - this villa and booking experience was 11/10! Cannot wait to return in the future!

First trip to Bali, super happy we ended up at Dane's place for the duration. Dane and the Villa staff arranged for drivers whom we used for airport transfers and local tours. We started the trip off with a beautiful Indonesian feast cooked by Ayu and Ketut. All the food cooked by the Villa staff was fantastic. Villa staff are super friendly and helpful, arrive every morning to cook breakfast and give the villa a good scrub down. Great location, very walkable. TONS of great restaurants close by. The villa was amazing - very spacious and extremely clean. Dane, Ayu and Ketut were very helpful in all aspects - from booking a driver to assisting us in the villa for the duration of our stay (cleaning our rooms daily, cooking breakfast, cutting up fruit for us etc). Thoroughly recommend this property, its owner, and his staff. The villa was as impressive as it looked in photos - beautiful design. It’s a large space for a two bedroom property, offering both privacy and spaces to congregate. It was well maintained and clean. Dane was very helpful with his recommendations, and responded quickly to our questions. His staff Ayu and Ketut were very friendly and took care of everything we needed during our stay. We’re keen to stay here again.

This place was perfect for 2 couples as the rooms are the exact same on each side. The staff were great, we had breakfast every day and a really good massage one morning after breakfast. The place is quiet although from one of the bedrooms you hear the bikes and cars driving past. I was there at new years though so was particularly busy. All in all, great value for money, even nicer than the photos and close to everything in Canguu. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed our time in this villa made really exceptional by villa staff Ayu and Ketut. It’s a really beautiful place - very spacious bedrooms, massive lounge area and gorgeous pool and gardens. We found the Grab app struggled to find the place which was frustrating all round so talk to Ayu about how to sort this out. Canggu isn’t really walkable at least when we were there as it was madly busy with a lot of non locals on motorbikes who weren’t particularly adept! The infrastructure in Canggu has been outstripped by its massive growth over the last 3 years. The villa itself was superb and with two couples, definitely reasonable. Thank you to Ayu and Ketut!!

This was probably the best Villa I’ve ever visited. Ayu and ketut came every morning to make us beautiful breakfast and also making sure the house is 100% clean. Great size pool. Tv has Netflix and YouTube. Great outdoor furniture to tan and to also chill by the pool. Outdoor shower and bath was a amazing experience. You have to visit the villa to see how amazing it is. Photos and descriptions don’t do s**t. Thanks heaps dane and we will 100% visit again

We had a wonderful stay at this villa and would highly recommend it. The villa is in a convenient location, about 2 mins scooter ride to the main strip of Canggu. It's much bigger than we expected and looked nicer than in the photos. The villa is well looked after by Ayu and her mother, both very sweet and lovely people. I would recommend requesting an Indonesian meal made by them during your stay and Ayu's mum gives a very good massage. The host Dane is very helpful, full of tips and super easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again.

Dane’s villa was beautiful. Just as described. He was great to communicate with and has all the local recommendations. The staff at the villa are the real stand out, they are the most attentive, hard working ladies & they made sure our stay was perfect.

Would highly recommend this accommodation in Canggu! Ketut and Ayu took terrific care of us and our children. Nothing was too much for them, they organised everything we needed. The accommodation itself was stunning, beautifully up kept by the ladies. It was well situated to coffee places and restaurants. The beach is a walkable distance but a motorbike is a super helpful way to see extra sights that are not so close. You won’t be sorry booking in, do it now before it’s all booked out!

Absolutely amazing villa in the heart of Canggu. We were near lots of vegan restaurants, Pilates, yoga and shopping. Dane had some great recommendations for what to do while here, we especially enjoyed our beach club days at Sundays, potato head and the four seasons. Above all, Ayu and Ketut were the best. We were vacationing with our 5 month old baby and didn’t think we would leave her to be babysat as she is so young, but as soon as we met Ayu and Ketut we felt at ease and had them watch her for a few hours each day. Can’t express how amazing these ladies are. We loved our stay here!

Luxurious stay right in the heart of Canggu! In the hustle and bustle of everything centred in this awesome area. The Villa itself is breath taking let alone the amazing service from the staff there. Ayu is the manager of the Villa and she is so sweet and polite and did such an amazing job at accommodating us with everything we needed as did her co-worker! The breakfast was so delicious too!! We really had the most amazing stay at this villa. The house is even better than the pictures, and very spacious. Everything was in immaculate condition and the location was fantastic, just a few minutes walk from Crate and one of the main streets. Whilst the house was superb, it was Ayu & Ketut, the house managers that made this trip really special. They were the sweetest friendliest people with met in all of Bali and cooked us the most incredible breakfasts and smoothies every morning - I am still dreaming about the food! They would arrive to make breakfast at the time we requested and would then clean the house whilst we ate and then leave shortly after. We would have loved to have prepare a dinner for us if we had stayed longer. We highly recommend this villa and hope to be back again soon!

The staff is so sweet and make great food. The house is gorgeous and the pool amazing. The road noise at night is a bit loud but tolerable. Very walkable to town.

The villa was as amazing (if not, more so) as the photos. We were warmly greeted by Ayu & Kutut, the mother & daughter team. They cooked us lovely breakfasts every morning & were a pleasure to deal with. The villa is tastefully fitted out & landscaped. The acoustics in the lounge area were amazing especially with the sub-woofer going. We loved sitting in the sunken lounge for our pre-dinner drinks. It is a very special place. The location is good but in Canggu, as it is quite spread out, you really need a scooter or to use Gojek. We loved our stay & would highly recommend.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Dane’s villa. It is jaw droppingly beautiful - with a great pool and is extremely spacious and comfortable. Ayu and Ketut were angels and we loved the breakfasts each morning, and how thoroughly they would clean everything. There’s so much attention to detail at this place from the beautiful sunken lounge, to the outdoor baths, to the comfortable beds and pillows. The location was great too as it was central without being too noisy and close to the hustle and bustle. 10/10 - we miss it already. We’ll be back!

I think the other reviews sum up pretty accurately the experience in Dane’s house. It’s a very large villa with everything you need and beyond, super stylish and just perfect. Every corner of this house is thoughtful and you will never want to leave. The villa managers Ayu and Ketut were very thoughtful and lovely 🥰 Loved every moment will definitely come back.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Dane’s villa that we will never forget. The villa is even more beautiful and tranquil in person. It was very clean and had fantastic air conditioning, which was excellent after being outside on hot nights. We were treated extra special with such thoughtful consideration from Ayu and Ketut, who prepared our delicious meals and cleaned our rooms in the morning. Ayu and Ketut also prepared such a delicious dinner for us after a day of snorkeling that was easily our favorite meal in Bali. Ketut also gave us really powerful massages that helped us relax and settle in. Ayu and Ketut were very helpful in giving us contacts to get a scooter as well car services for the tours we wanted to take in Nusa Penida, Gili Island and Ibud. The location of this villa cannot be beat. This place is in the heart of all the best shops and restaurants in Canggu. We were given plenty of excellent recommendations from Dane, which really helped our trip go that much more smoothly, especially when trying to find a place to exchange our bills. We have never had a trip be this carefree and it truly allowed us to be present and fully enjoy all that Bali has to offer. We cannot wait to book a stay here again in the future!

Incredible villa located just opposite Sa’Mesa, walking distance to Crate, Copenhagen & Rise n Shine etc. The Villa staff Ayu and her mother Ketut were an absolute delight - a real asset to the property and experience. They cook a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit and juices each morning. On check out, make sure you have some cash available to pay the electricity meter. You’ll notice in the house rules that there may be an extra charge if you use excess electricity and best not to be caught out. Thanks for a great stay!

The villa is a wonderful combo of Javanese, Balinese and modern. It is beyond comfortable, and every cm is designed to please the your eyes, senses and soul. Beyond the villa being exceptional, it is even better by the loving attention of Ibu ketut and Ayu.

Once we arrived in the villa, Ayu and her Mom was very welcoming. It is such a nice place with awesome joglo & pool design. I highly recommend this place !! So sorry Dane we have to check out early because of work matter but will surely come back again next time :)

LIFE CHANGING! We stayed for 5 weeks during the pandemic, and could have not have picked a better home and location. Dane's style is impeccable. The entire home is built efficiently with transparent glass but efficient temperature control. As you walk in and see the pool adjoining the two sections of the home, your breath is simply taken away. I had the luxury of that daily breathtaking experience for nearly 40 days. The home is in absolutely the best area of Bali (Canggu), where some of the most remarkable cafes and restaurants are walking distance. The beach is a few minutes away on scooter (and potentially walkable). Keetut and Ayu changed our lives. It's a mother/daughter team working in synchronized efficiency (often wearing matching shirts). They babysat our infant often and became a part of our family. Their cooking was phenomenal and the massage was spectacular (my wife notes). Ayu is so efficient and dependable. She'll arrange all details. Gede (the driver) is incredibly reliable, respectful and kind. Quite simply, if you have the opportunity to stay here, your life will change!

This is by far the best Airbnb experience we've ever had. This villa is absolutely insane! The space is huge, the pool area amazing and the lounge are and the bedrooms just WOW! The interior design is also lovely. The villa is situated within a 3 minute walk to crate cafe. It's the perfect location. Ayu und Ketut are the nicest people we have ever met in Bali. Whenever we had a problem or a question they solved it within the next hour. They helped us with the scooter rental, they did our laundry and organised airport transfer for us. They cleaned every day so the villa was sparkling clean at all times. If you come here, ask them to cook dinner for you once! The best indonesian food we've had! All in all it was just the best holiday ever, we will definitely come back!!!

This was the most beautiful and incredible Airbnb I have ever stayed at. Just wow. So beautiful, stylish and we loved the glass walls that allowed us to enjoy the tropical plants in the garden while getting AC. We honestly were happy to relax and stay at home because we were living in paradise. Delicious breakfasts and we loved the Indonesian feast prepared by Ayu and her mother. They are such kindred people who took such good care of us. I can’t wait to return to Bali just so we can stay here again!! We miss this place already!

Peters villa is probably one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Everything felt well thought out and luxurious. The location is central to where all the restaurant and shops are but on a smaller road so it is away from the full hustle. The rooms were amazing, the bed was so comfortable, and the entertainment area is beautifully decorated and equipped. The staff ayu and her mom makes a delicious breakfast everyday. I would 100% come back in the future thank you!

I don't know where to start, and I dont want to write a long review, so to save you some time, if you are looking to stay in Canggu, just book this place. I've stayed in many AirBNB's in Canggu and value for money this is the best one. When you walk in your breath is taken away by the site of the pool and main living area. The pictures do not actually do this place justice. Its stunning ! The bedrooms are the nicest bedrooms I've stayed in, each one is like it's own living area, large, extremely clean and bright. The main area is crazy, sunken sofas to work from, in fact all the furniture is gorgeous. Kitchen amazing. Location is perfect, this is the best spot in Canggu as Canggu is quite large. Its next to all the best dining spots like Masons and Penny Lane and a quick scooter ride to the beach. Words cant really articulate Ayu and her mother. They are two of the most kindest and beautiful women I have met. I didnt even want to ask them to do / cook anything because they were just so calming to be around. I asked Ayu how is it that she is always so happy and peaceful, she explained she prays for 5 minutes every morning and centres herself around nature. Breakfast was spot on. I just felt happy seeing her each day. Literally, I cannot fault this place if I tried. I tried to book for longer but it was unavailable. If you do stay please respect the home as we did.

The villa was incredibly gorgeous and beautiful. Living room area is really nice and having closed space with air condition makes a big different (if you have been to other villas before you would know what I mean). Hospitality provided by Ayu is also definitely to shout out for. Breakfast is awesome and the villa is always so clean. Anything you ask her, whether it is shopping or arranging transportation, she is always on top of your requests and gets things done for you. Only downside of our trip was that the neighbors were partying with really loud music and fireworks until 5 am for few nights. But understand that this is New Year's time... Other than that, it was spectacular!

Peter's house is gorgeous and in a great area, walking distance (about 1 kilometer) to the beach, with many great restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and trendy boutiques even closer. Peter is great about communicating, which was really helpful in coordinating through a busy travel schedule. The rooms, beds and rest of the house are well decorated and maintained. My family found it to be a very relaxing, comfortable place to stay. What was more special than the house, was the care we received from Ayu and Ketut. Both women are exceptionally sweet and they are excellent cooks! The breakfast was awesome and we opted to have them prepare a traditional Balinese meal which included Nasi Babi Guling (suckling pig) and several delicious sides. Everything was so good, we had it for breakfast the next day. They took care of some laundry for us and accommodated our breakfast requests with ease. In my family, I am always cooking and cleaning, and Ayu andKetut wouldn't let me lift a finger when I wanted to help with the dishes. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay and I hope to return soon!

The villa is beautiful, modern and just as amazing you can imagine from the pictures. It is well situated next to a shortcut road, and although we could hear the traffic outside we were not disturbed by it. The location is convenient and we found it close to everything and easy to get around in the area renting motor bikes. Peter is a very good host who will happily help you with the recommendations you may need while exploring the area. Ayu and her mother Ketut takes great care of the place. They will serve you breakfast each day and help you with all the small things you might need while staying and relaxing by the villa.

Wow! Did I say WOW! Walking into this place feels like your own private oasis. Letting you know, this place spoils you....or should I say Ayu and her mom spoils you. We got massages in house and we opted for one of their special dinners and wow! It was the best meal we had while in Bali.. and Bali has some incredible food so that says a LOT! Even my picky husband was craving the dinner each day ...I wish we had more time to have done dinner twice. Ayu and her mom have the most beautiful spirits and even made my hubbi a special ginger tea bc his stomach was hurting the last day there. Each day they had a new fresh juice prepared and the breakfast of our choice. I could go on and on about this place. I have tons of people on social media asking specifically where I stayed and I kinda wanna keep it to myself. Lol. I don't wanna share Ayu and mom and the pure bliss and amazingness of the villa. I'm already planning on going back. I can't see myself staying at any other place when I come back. My husband agrees. Well Done Peter. You've truly outdone yourself♡

This is a stunning villa. Tastefully and comfortably decorated. Fantastic salt-water pool. Ayu and Ketut (mother and daughter team) are the ultimate hosts and take very good care of you. Ketut is an exceptional therapeutic masseur and will treat you in the privacy of the villa. Such a nice place to return to after a day exploring Canggu. It is walking distance from Bali Buda - great organic bakery, mart and restaurant. Also, a few minutes from the Crate (current hip and happening cafe) but also close to many other fantastic options for brunch, lunch and dinner. The beach and beach cafes are a 10 minute walk away. We absolutely loved the experience very much. Looking forward to returning there in the not too distant future!

Peter's place was an incredible first stop in Bali. A short moto to the main street with tons of cafes, bars, etc. and ~5-10 mins form most of the beach clubs. Pool is incredible, staff is absolutely amazing and so so accommodating. Would def be back.

This place is beautiful both during the day and at night and the location is incredibly convenient to Canggu's bars and restaurants, but behind the walls you'd have no idea because it's really quiet too. Ayu and Ketut are not only very hospitable, but amazing chefs as well. I will absolutely return to this villa during a future trip to Bali.

Our stay was wonderful. we traveled for a holiday as a family-two adults and two children. The house is spectacular. Stylish, spacious, incredibly clean and comfortable. The kids loved the pool. It was truly an oasis. Ayu and her mother were wonderful. They are kind, thoughtful and incredibly helpful. They also made an amazing indonesian breakfast every morning. We had a wonderful time! The home exceeded expectations.

Wow, absolutely amazed by this place. While the pictures are sure impressive, you really get blown away when you walk in. Everything is new or under a year old, the manager on sight is super well organised, thoughtful, and considerate. Peter was in touch with helpful notes and arranged all our transportation at incredibly fair local rates. Really can’t say enough nice things about this stay. I guess we just need to plan a trip back!

Designer Villa is a great place! What place, design, architecture, surfaces, details are really tasteful and well thought out in the smallest part of the house and garden! Just book !! The kitchen and living room are really tastefully decorated and you can really enjoy your holiday. What we also liked was the location! Being able to walk to restaurants and service in just minutes was good - really good location! Ayo and her mother were great! They fixed breakfast and were really accommodating and helpful in every way. We thought the pictures of the house inside were better in reality. We were a family with 2 kids, 4 and 6 years old, they really liked the house and the proximity to restaurants was perfect. Can definitely recommend Designer Villa! Peter's house has everything you want. It is stylish, big, clean and is located in the middle of the village. Ayu and Ketut take great care of the guests. We had a wonderful time and love to come back.

This was the second time we've stayed at Peter's villa and there is literally nothing to fault. We had a fantastic stay again. Ayu and Ketut were amazing and looked after all our needs. We're already looking forward to coming back again in the near future.

The house is even nicer and more beautiful then the pictures, if that is even possible! Canggu is busy and crazy, but as soon as you walk in, you feel relaxed and peaceful. The house is super clean, the beds are very comfy and the outdoor showers are so cool. Ayu makes a delicious breakfast each morning and on request makes a fantastic Indonesian dinner together with her mom. Mom gives massages at the house. On top of that Ayu arranged anything you need . Our family had a dream vacation and we would love to come back to Peter’s paradise.

Staying at Peter’s villa in Canggu was even more beautiful than I expected. The pictures do not do the property justice. Ayu and Ketut were generous and caring hosts. These two women work hard to ensure their guests are happy and the villa is perfect. The location was close to town, either a short motorbike ride or about a twenty minute walk. I would recommend this property and would love to stay again.

This villa looks beautiful online, but in the flesh, is even more stunning. Stunning design, beautiful finishes, all topped off by the sunken lounge in the living area. The villa staff, Ayu and her mother Ketut, were also wonderfully inviting, and nothing was too much for them. From shopping trips to taking my daughter for a scooter ride, they excelled. On top of this the villas was always spotless. I can't recommend this villa highly enough! We will be back next year, albeit for a longer stay.

Best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in with the best staff. They literally cried when we left the home on the last day... just such a special experience. The home and the features are just out of this world. This place is a must. If you stay, walk down the road and visit Crate cafe! So delicious.

AYU and her mum were absolute sweethearts and a credit to the villa, we had some amazing food and AYU was always there for us. Try her Indonesian buffet lunch/dinner, you won’t be disappointed!! This villa is hands down the best Air BNB I have ever stayed in and experienced. Every styling touch was well thought of, the space was huge, the staff were very friendly and cooked an amazing complimentary breakfast. The location was perfect we organised GOjek scooters everywhere we went and cost less than 50 cents to go to all the hot spots around Canguu even better if you hire your own scooter to get around! Perfect location all round. One of my favorite nights in Bali was spent at this villa having Italian delivered and bingeing on Netflix in the sunken lounge room. For those keen instagrammers out there this place is everything you'd ever dream of for photoshoots. Couldn't recommend this place more!

The villa was amazing. Ayu and her mother took great care of us while we stayed at the villa. They went above and beyond. By far the best service we received and the best villa we've stayed at. Definitely will stay again.

You can expect one of the best possible stays you can imagine. Everything about the stay, hospitality, location and place is amazing. Peter's house is beautiful, combining wooden traditional elements with modern touches. It is lightflooded and extremely spacious, both living area and bedrooms. The location is great, perfectly located in Canggu close to both Old Man and Echo beach as well as close to many restaurants. Ayu and her mom the hosts make this stay fantastic as they are taking care of everything and are very supportive and kind.

Peter's Canggu villa is unreal. Our jaws dropped when we saw the space. It's got everything you need and is even more incredible than the photos. The space feels truly luxurious but at the same time fits well with the surrounding nature. The staff- Ketut and Ayu - are amazingly helpful and kind. The place is so excellent that when we went to the beach for the day we felt sad we weren't at the villa. For real.

Wow! What an amazing experience we just had at this magnificent property! From the moment we made the booking, our host Peter was knowledgeable and helpful, always prompt with his communication. Upon arrival we were greeted by Ayu, Ketut and Maskuri, who truly made our entire stay exceptional. From then until we left 10 day later and we were farewelled by these very caring individuals, everything was perfect. The villa was spectacular and comfortable and the service we received was excellent. My only concern is that the word will get out regarding this amazing property and that the villa may not be available, when next we visit Bali :-( Thank you Peter, Ayu, Ketut and Maskuri, we miss you already!

We had a fabulous stay at the villa. The feeling when you get there is of absolute luxury, the villa is beautiful just like the photos and better! It is your own private luxury oasis with lots of room to move, great design, fantastic pool, very stylish decor and sparkling clean throughout. The mother and daughter team Ayu and Ketut provide the warmest, most thoughtful hospitality and they keep the villa immaculate! They are truly very special ladies. And we felt safe having security provided all night as well. The breakfast Ayu prepared for us was great whichever you choose western (with nice sourdough bread) or Indonesian cooked for you at the villa at whatever time you choose. We also got a buffet dinner cooked for us and that was very delicious too. My favourite was the tempeh dish. Ketut gave us private massages at the villa which was great and she is a really good masseuse. Everything was seamless and 5star from Peter’s communication to the fabulous villa and service. Peter and the ladies even accomodated a late checkout into the evening for us as we had a night flight which meant that they had to clean the villa after us at night! Much appreciated and just confirmed that nothing is too much trouble and they really look after you so well. The area was great with lots of cafes and healthy eating places within 10 walk, the cafe just in the same street is like being in the Melbourne trendy cafe scene. This villa is best for relaxation spending lots of time in the pool which is what we were looking for and we didn’t want to leave. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Peter's villa for 8 nights over the new year period. The villa is stunning, exactly what you see in the pictures and it has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It's also in a perfect location, very close to Batu Bolong and Echo Beach and within walking distance to some great cafes. The staff were absolutely amazing. Ayu, Ketut and Mouskouri were so friendly and genuinely pleasant with my family, nothing was too much trouble. They all helped to keep the villa spotless and Ayu and Ketut also cooked us wonderful western and Indonesian breakfasts each morning. The Nasi Goreng in particular was delicious. We also got wonderful massages from Ketut during our stay which definitely helped us relax and get into holiday mode. Peter was also very helpful providing information ahead of our visit and coordinating transfers etc. I really can't fault any aspect of our stay, except that I wished we could stay longer! We had a great time and are already planning to come back again later this year.

This is like no other Airbnb that I have been to. The villa is magnificent but what takes it to the next level is Ayu, from making fantastic breakfasts and juices in the morning, keeping the place spotless and being our concierge, nothing seemed like too much trouble. Ayu is a gem and made our stay even better than we could have wished for! My wife and our 2 daughters spent 11 nights at the villa. Albeit that there is so much to do in the area we spent most of our time at the villa relaxing and our girls had easy access to restaurants and bars in the area. We all had a few massages from Katut at the villa which was great and good value!

Where to begin! This villa was everything we imagined and more. The actual space itself was beautiful, spacious, modern, impeccably clean, luxurious yet still has that charming character and warmth. The real asset however are the beautiful staff – Ayu and Ketut who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The delicious breakfast, the surprise cake for my birthday, helping us get around and organising anything and everything we asked help with. The location is perfect, especially if you’re happy to get around in a scooter. There are many café’s and restaurants nearby, however if you want explore a bit further, walking in the heat (or rain) may be a tad difficult. The pool is deep and well-maintained, the outdoor bath was perfect, and really, it just has everything you need if you’re looking for the perfect place to relax yet still be close to the hustle and bustle of Canggu. Peter was super helpful leading up to our trip, very responsive and gave us all the information we needed. Cannot recommend this place enough. A real AirBnb highlight!

This might be my favorite Airbnb property in the world, and I've stayed at many! The design mix between traditional and modern elements (as well as indoor/outdoor living) is amazing. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is close enough to everything Canggu has to offer but away from all the main streets. It's very tempting to not want to leave the property! If you're looking for an incredible space that's Instagram worthy, this is it!

Scale of 1-10 Location: 10+ Close to everything! Only thing is that if you call for taxi they won’t be able to get you at your door but it’s a good thing because the street is not as busy. You just walk down the street to meet them. Home cleanliness: 10+ Absolutely perfect! Host: 10+ Peter is so fast and great with communication. Ayu and all staff are wonderful! So clean and so nice so thoughtful and respectful and go out of their way to make you happy Home: 10+ Sooooooo nice! Book it now! Hurry! Don’t even thing twice! This is by far one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at, and we’ve been to countless around the world. We appreciated every thoughtful design detail and architectural touch. The pool is an impressive feature, and definitely worth the swim in the mornings when you wake up. We started our holiday here and 3 days was just not enough. We hope to come back! Pretty centrally located in Canggu, however you need a car or motor bike to get around because walking is very difficult, especially with children. The staff are incredibly welcoming and take care of every detail for you, we enjoyed the massage the daily breakfast and all of the little helpful things like laundry directions arranging a driver, etc etc. Peter coordinated our airport pick up as well and it was very helpful. Highly recommend utilizing his manager Ayu and her mother for anything you need! Incredible experience! This is a premium space and well worth the price. Well done Peter!

Peter's Place is exactly what you hope for. It is incredible beautiful, the staff is so kind, the pool is perfect and peaceful. We only wish that we could have stayed longer!

This place is exceptional! What a find for us. The villa itself is stunning and luxurious. The location is phenomenal. But what shines most about this gem is the staff. I have never before felt so at home and so spoiled! Ayu and Ketut are so incredibly special. Pure magic—anything you could want they will help you with. They truly go above and beyond. So many little things they did to help make our stay easy and special. From the moment we arrived—so tired from a 35 hour adventure to get to Bali —to the moment we left relaxed and crying so sad to leave our new Bali family everything was perfect. They keep the place sparkling clean and are absolutely incredible cooks. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t ask them to also prepare dinner for you. Best meal of our month in Indo so far. We couldn’t wait to eat breakfast every day! Ayu makes a mean Nasi Goreng....and the fresh juice! Ketut does massage and it was so so relaxing for me—what a treat—I didn’t even need to leave the villa. Mouskouri made us feel very safe and did a superb job tending to the grounds—it was so hot I was impressed he was always working outside with a smile. We were traveling with our 6 month old and each one of these beautiful humans made a lasting impact on her and us. They all played with her and treated her like a princess. When we needed a break they would hold her while we ate and even babysat for us. I felt so safe like it was family. They truly loved her and she lit up when with them. Additionally there is safe drinking water provided here and also automatic hot water which was so helpful with my baby’s bottles. I’m wishing we still had it! Peter truly is a Superhost—always prompt to answer and providing such an amazing experience. Don’t miss Crate Cafe just up the street. We went for treats every day! Memories for a lifetime made here—I hope we can return one day. It’s a very long journey for us from the United States but we are already trying to figure out how to get back here next year.

This villa ruined the rest of my Bali holiday. The villa is so wonderful it made my next two villas seem very ordinary. Villa and staff are wonderful. If you get a chance organise Ayu to cook for you. If you are staying in Canggu and the villa is available, book it!

I am convinced that this is the best villa in Bali. If you love design/ architecture or photography, this place is an absolute dream. It is perfect in every way. The design of this villa is unparalleled and every detail has been considered and refined, right down to the soap dispensers. The pool is deep and gorgeous, the outside bathrooms are to die for, the mattress (!), the bed linens, the baskets, the towels.... Can't.Get.Better. Oh... how can I forget the sense of arrival. There is a steel gate, followed by a wood door, followed by a corner and when you finally spit into the villa, you find yourself looking into the most extraordinary space you have ever seen. Ayu is the villa manager and is an absolute, world class gem. So is Ketut. Their Nasi Goreng in the morning is something to live for. The grounds are beautiful. There are a few small things that I would change. One of the owners is a photographer and while 99% of his photos are superb, I'd lose the photos of him in the water closets as they are a bit extra. It also takes a while to adjust to all the glass and mirrors if you are not used to looking at yourself all day long. But the adjustment will come and then you just enjoy and by the time you leave you are changed for the better. I cannot wait to visit this villa again. My sister cried so hard when she was leaving and I almost did the same.

Diese Villa ist einfach nur traumhaft schön und jeden Cent wert !! Vom Teppich bis zum Mülleimer, sieht hier einfach alles aus wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Ayu und ihre Mama sind sehr , sehr nett und geben ihr Bestes, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Zudem sind die Massagen (90 min = ca. 11 Euro), für die man die Villa nicht verlassen muss, einfach nur entspannend und machen das Ganze nur noch schöner. Zur Hauptstraße, auf der man Restaurants und Shops aller Art findet, sind es nur etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Tut euch selbst einen Gefallen und bucht diese Villa !!!

I stayed in Peter's villa for 10 nights and what an experience it was. A late night check-in was accommodated with all airport transfers organised for two sets of guest arrivals. Peter the host answered all my questions quickly and truthfully and was always friendly asking about my stay when I needed to contact him with a query. A very professional host. The villa team consisting of Ayu, Ketut and Mouskouri, provided morning breakfasts, cleaning, gardening, massages and security into the evening. They were fantastic and always willing to help and accommodate any of our needs. We got to know Ayu and Ketut in particular over the course of our stay, which made the experience so much nicer. The Villa is outstanding... modern, landscaped gardens, deep pool, polished concrete throughout, with a Balinese joglo touch. The outdoor rain showers were amazing and very private. A shower in the evening was a great experience with the cool Bali breeze before bed. The villa is around a 15-20min walk from the beach and sits between two roads that one, takes you down to Batu Bolong/Old Mans beach and the other that will take you down to Echo beach. Beach clubs (The Lawn / La Brisa) all close by as well as many great restaurants and bars. For more accessibility I would get a scooter as well to open the area up more and save yourself some time. Looking forward to staying here again in the future and exploring the Canggu area further as well as just relaxing in such a nice space and escaping the hustle and bustle back home.

This is a speculator property in a delightful part of Bali. Peter is extremely helpful and was so prompt with advice and meeting our requests (airport transfers, local advice, scooters etc). He is indeed a Superhost! The housekeepers were terrific, professional and respected our privacy. Thank you to all three. Absolute luxury and I would/will highly recommend staying here. I will very much look forward to returning to this villa in the future.

The place is fantastic, we really fell in love with it. It is build with traditional features, but in a very modern way... It is laid out beautifully in a garden... The location is great, close to cafes, restaurants and the beach. We rented a scooter, but you could walk, about 20 min. The house is like an oasis in the buzzling streets of Canggu. We did some fitness exercise on the patio... Great place. The tools were provided in the Villa (one could add some short rubber bands, but that is a minimal topic). Everything was well taken care of and thought through - we even had shampoo at the shower not only shower gel. We felt very spoiled. The best about all of it was the Villa manager. She is such a kind and friendly young person, working hard and making your stay extraordinary. She is a caring and warm hearted person. Also get mom who some days support her is a great person..with a great sense of humor. They gave us hints and explained elements of Balinese life and culture and the geckos and lizards we saw... We really miss them...and there great breakfast they prepared for us everyday... The nasi goreng could not be beaten by any restaurant outside... I am normally not an overwhelming reviewer as I believe it needs open and critical feedback to grow and improve, but in this case we were overwhelmed 🙏 thanks Peter, Ayu and Katu... We felt very special in this beautiful environment.

This place is absolutely stunning!!! do yourself a favour and book it!!! Ayu and the team were amazing and tried their best to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. Ayu even messaged me from her home at midnight to check I was okay when we felt an earthquake. They suprised me with cupcakes for breakfast on my birthday and loved having a cuddle and play with our baby. we loved everything about this place and will be back!!!

Peters place really is an exceptional property for Canggu. The villa has a wow factor even for experienced long term travellers and security and privacy are both high. Ayu and the team did a great job organising transfers for guests, booking an in-house masseuse and keeping the place looking tip top. Our group was only the second to stay at the villa and it’s obviously in great condition, the staff are working out what works best for guests and I’m sure will provide varied options and improvements as time goes on. All in all a great stay and superb value for a huge 2 bed villa in the heart of the action of Canggu. Highly recommended Russell

I can’t recommend this property enough!!! The minute you walk in it’s a gorgeous villa, the staff are extremely friendly, and the location is unbeatable! Two minute walk away from Crate cafe and the Main Street you are walking distance to everything in Canggu! We extended our stay because we didn’t want to leave! The best experience I’ve ever had on Airbnb by far! The villa truly felt like a home, and the staff made it feel so much more home-y! Ask momma Ketut to make you home-made Jamu juice in the morning! I can’t recommend this place enough, will definitely be back, and for longer!
