Exploring Iconic 2BR Joglo | Big Private Pool | Berawa Beach left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Iconic 2BR Joglo | Big Private Pool | Berawa Beach was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kuta Utara plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Iconic 2BR Joglo | Big Private Pool | Berawa Beach painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Beautiful pool and nice big place. But the host Lella, did nothing but harass us and make us feel anxious and unwelcome. It was hard to find. On arrival the toilet was blocked and we were told we blocked it. We then were told we were over electricity charges and had to pay 63000k. Seriously just charge a little more rather than make guests anxious. All we had on were fans at night. The kitchen was well equipped but run down. It’s far away from the main strip. You get 2 pool towels and 2 bath towels for a week. The last place we had 4 daily. Not that we need them but being charged 100000k for another seems stingy. Staff were lovely but on our day by the pool they were they from 11-2 meaning you can’t really relax on your own. Lella never asked how we were, just gave her orders from afar and made us feel unwelcome and treated like she was expecting us to break something and that she needed to reinforce the rules. I expect based on other reviews she’ll react defensively and not listen.

Lovely villa! The location is noisy as Finns and Atlas are two blocks away and so their music blares until about 3 am. The surroundings are loitered with trash and some run down places. Unfortunately this is the case of many areas. Poor waste management and it is lack of infrastructure not tourists ! The staff are very kind. Get familiar with how the meter works (manual does not tell you that you basically have 0 allowance because the villa itself consumes the allowance with pool and lights that are preprogrammed). We ran the AC for about 5 -7 hours only at night and used a kettle and that put us over the “allowance.” Still a good value but will mostly likely cost you more than advertised because she charges extra for many things. Be mindful and you will stay close to the projected budget. Run the fan at night and you will stay within the electricity allowance and also drown out the noise: ) The villa is lovely with a well kept garden, pool and a fabulous outdoor kitchen.

Villa Is full of character and very well located for shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. We found it a little too expensive compared to some of the other villas we have stayed in in Bali as it needs a little TLC and wasn’t very well equipped for self catering. I would say totally worth it if it was a little less expensive.

The house is pretty but not as pretty as pictures. The price in Airbnb was 119USD a day for the whole villa, but that’s not true. We have 4 people live in two bedrooms. We paid 457 USD for two night which is way expensive. No breakfast, I never seen any house staff during my stay. We see caterpillars in the bathroom might be considered by others the charming of the house but not for me who has caterpillar phobia. Anyway. I’d live in a 5 stars hotel with great service with 457USD.

My partner and I stayed in this villa for a week, and it’s beautiful. Feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. The landscaping is immaculate, even with the weird tree that sits right in front of the pool stairs 😂 The villa is very easy to find, and we never had any problems with Grab or Gojek finding us. The extra charges for electricity and water were slightly strange, I’ve never had that in an AirBnB before. I think it would be easier to raise the price by $10aud a night to include this, rather than adding it in separately at the end. But it’s not my property 🤷‍♀️ Overall it was a gorgeous villa, in a gorgeous spot.

I love the place! You can see a lot of thought was put into designing the place. I love the pool, the kitchen has almost everything we need. just that, the oven took a long time, we didn't use it in the end. it'll be helpful if there was a microwave. do note that there's no Aircon outside and sometimes there's insects, remember to put on your insect repellent. One thing I didn't realise was, it's very close to the atlas supper party spot so it was very noisy at night. we can hear the music very clearly. We had wanted a place close to the beach but didn't realise it would be so noisy at night. also if you want to order grab, it's easier if you provide pictures as the first 2 drivers went to somewhere else nearby. that said, the place is well maintained, the rooms and bathrooms are fairly clean, a wonderful spot for a getaway. thank you!

Первый раз были на Бали, двое взрослых, двое детей, 8 и 10 лет. Вилла просторная, много зелени, крупная сочная пальма возле большого бассейна, ухоженный газон, есть все необходимое для жизни, персонал (балийцы) приятный и дружелюбный, убирались на территории и чистили бассейн. Брали на прокат машину, но неудобно было с парковкой, рядом оказалась стройка, вплотную к вилле, рабочие начинают с 8 утра, привозят бетон, приходилось постоянно отгонять машину, рядом с виллой удобных парковок не увидели. Район больше подходит для тусовок, рядом много кафе и круглосуточных магазинов, пляж в пешей доступности, но грязный со сточными водами, если нужно поплавать на чистом пляже, то на машине минимум час езды.

It is a really nice villa at a peaceful but central location. The host was really helpful and friendly. There were two things that irritated me: hand sopa was mixed with water (you would not leave soap in that state for your guest) and there were stains on the bed linen. Other than that the villa was beautiful and they supported us with everything.

Villa Desa Naga 1 is a great place to stay in Berawa with lovely staff. Great communication and not too far from the beach. I highly recommend IL locale-a delicious Italian restaurant just up the road,the food is so amazing l thought l was in Rome! Seriously Check it out. Gorgeous open style Joglo accommodation with a lush garden & pool. As always check in for construction going on otherwise it was a fab stay-loved it!

We really loved our stay here for a girls trip. We couldn’t believe our eyes when we arrived and felt right at home. Having the GoJek app is vital for getting around since walking can be dicey with all the traffic and no sidewalks. The staff are very friendly and the manager responds very quickly.

The location is wonderful, not far from all the buzz of Canggu The villa itself is nice and matches photos, although a little repair and refreshment will not hurt

We had a very pleasant stay at Lella’s place! Was kept beautifully clean by Ketut and Mady, who were also very friendly and helpful. The pool was awesome fun and perfect for a cool down! The bedroom was fresh and comfortable with a tropical bathroom- beautifully authentic. The kitchen amenities where just what we needed and we managed to make a nice pasta lunch one of the days. The villa is located in a quieter part of Canggu, which has positives and negatives. It’s lovely and peaceful at all times yet a bit of a walk to the main strip, unless you get a motor bike. Our hosts kindly arranged this but the roads are pretty busy and we preferred on foot. & there was a gorgeous restaurant 5 min walk- ‘Parachute’ that’s a MUST visit, fantastic place with beautiful food, staff and views. This villa is a well kept dream house for a couples holiday- it wasn’t as romantic as we had hoped to finish our honeymoon but was defiantly fun and vibrant. Thank you for our stay!

Good thing first: Location is great, with lots of cafes and restaurants in walkable distance. And several of these are very child friendly as they have playgrounds. The villa interior looks good at first glimpse, but several things are broken or worn out, and for a family stay it is not very comfortable. Worth to mention one of the beds very hard, and the villa host does not provide baby cot. The price is generally just too high for what you get, think of five star room hotel for less the price.

This villa was a joy to behold! We loved the beautiful surroundings and the gorgeous pool. There were plenty of taxis available at any time we required one by just walking up the road a little but younger ones staying here would probably rather join the throngs of motorcycles on the roads! We really enjoyed our time there! This really is the place for a relaxed Balinese holiday.

First time in bali with my two sisters and we had the best time at the villa, so stunning!

The place is a good finding, even though we stayed in Canggu but the place doesn't feel like we are there. It is away from the crowds, tranquil with huge open area and amazing pool! Which makes you only want to stay chilling in the villa without needing to go anywhere. All amenities inside, especially kitchen is fully equipped, there is cleaning facilities everyday, thanks to Mbok Ketut that always helped me fold my clothes and leave everything organized 😆 We really enjoyed the villa and if you don't mind visits from different types of insects and small animals around, this is a perfect getaway place in Bali 😁 especially Canggu area. Highly recommended and will comeback in the future! Thank you!

The villa and its garden are simply gorgeous, the cleaning team do a great job. Putu, the manager, picked us up from our other villa and he was great. Really friendly, really helpful, all round great guy 🙏 Despite people saying Bali isn’t very walkable, we found this villa to be extremely well situated for both walks and scooters/cars. We had a day at Finn’s Beach Club and we walked there in about 10 minutes! We’d read reviews that said you could hear the clubs from the villa but we never noticed that once. Thank you again team for the hospitality 🫶

We stayed at the villa for six days. It was exactly like the pictures fairly close to the beach maybe a 20 minute walk for five minutes by scooter.. the staff was very very nice. They come and clean the house and backyard every day. Communication with host was great. reread other review that we could hear the music from the beach clubs which is actually not true because we didn’t hear a peak because the beat club are pretty far so they didn’t really understand why those comments were made during the night. It’s super calm and the villa becomes like a new place with the curtain clothes in the light open we really enjoyed it!

This villa is charming and looks like the pictures. Very spacious and has all what you need. The swimming pool is clean and good size. Lella and Deborah and Putu all are supportive and responsive and quickly react with my requests and comments. It is also very close to the beach and great restaurants and cafes at walkable distances. Very much recommended.

Perfect stay! Pool and plantings were lovely. The house is cute and nicely furnished. Everything is comfortable and accessible. Clean and well maintained. If you like some nature (which we do!!) it is awesome to see the bats at night, the lawn toad, the plantation squirrels in the palm trees, and we had a crab and a gecko in the WC. Even the snails and the jumping spiders are cute! Every morning, we would say “hello”! No joke, we loved this and the morning bird song was terrific! The house is open, so there is always a cool breeze. A quick 15 minute walk to the beach to catch sunsets (and these are amazing). There is a coffee shop next door, if you want to buy coffee or juices (we were too lazy to make our own!). All in all a terrific stay! Thank you!!!

For my brother and I, this was the perfect Villa. Ideally located within walking distance of pretty much everything you would want with numerous restaurants around. Yet in a secluded peaceful area away from the major roads. The Villa itself was stunning. The pool is huge and has sun access for most of the day (there is a tree that provides some shade, but for the most part of the day there is only limited shade). The bedrooms were massive, with both an AC and fan, and this is the best hot water service I’ve had after 3 trips to Bali. The co-hosts were responsive, and the Villa staff wonderful. There was some construction out the front of the driveway/alleyway, but we had no issues with noise. The Villa does also back onto a quiet residential road - you can hear the occasional vehicle while outside, but nothing from the bedrooms. Perfect for 1-4 people. For the Villa’s location and value for money, don’t hesitate to book. I hope to stay at Villa Desa Naga 1 in the future.

We spent a wonderful month at this villa for our honeymoon, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The staff was amazing, always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. The garden and large pool were the absolute highlights: lush, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful plumeria trees whose scent made the whole place feel like paradise. The villa itself was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. We also loved the location—close to the beach and lots of nice cafés, yet still quiet and relaxing. Our host, Lella, was very kind and welcoming. We truly felt at home and completely relaxed during our stay. It was the perfect mix of comfort, nature, and Balinese charm. Highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a romantic and peaceful getaway in Bali!

We loved our stay! The villa is beautiful and the pool was great, very big and just like the pictures, the whole villa was just like the pictures. The cleaning staff were very friendly and thorough, the garden is very well maintained too! There is some construction right next to the villa overlooking the pool but it didn’t distract us too much and they were always very friendly when we saw them outside the villa. Putu arranged some day trips for us which were fantastic!! The villa is walking distance from main Canggu and the beach and if we didn’t want to walk that far for a meal, the cafe nearby (Ducat Cafe) was very nice and done great food and drinks.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this villa in Canggu! The villa is absolutely stunning – the large and very clean swimming pool was perfect for relaxing at any time of day. We loved the open-air living room and kitchen, which gave the whole place a unique and tropical vibe. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures, if not better. The villa was peaceful, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. We especially appreciated the privacy and tranquility of the space – a true little paradise in the heart of Canggu. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay. We would definitely love to come back!

We had a great time at Lella's place , the villa was in good condition , clean and well maintained . The location is great it was a 10 minute to walk to the beach , shops and restaurants in Berawa. Lella was a great host , easy to communicate with and very responsive , we had one minor problem when the lock on the gate broke , someone was round to replace it within half an hour

Absolutely beautiful villa with a stunning outdoor area / space. Even with the more frequent December rain we could spend the whole day outside given the nice outdoor living area. Super clean & great location close to a cafe mini market and the beach (10 mins walk it a 3 mins grab ride)

We stayed at the Villa in November and it was exactly like the advertisement. Daily cleaning is great, also the pickup from Adi at the airport was fantastic. Furthermore if we asked something like laundry or motobikerent we got a immediate response with a number to contact. Overall great experience and amazing stay. Greetz from Holland

A beautiful space, much larger than expected and felt like our own private retreat. Was such a beautiful stay. Staff were friendly & the location was only a short walk or scooter to great restaurants. There are tiles near the pool area that are slippery when wet so keep this in mind if travelling with small people. Would definitely stay again :)

The worst thing about my time at Lella’s place was that I didn’t spend enough time here at this beautiful villa!! Photos look amazing but still didn’t entirely capture the real life magic of this villa! The location is ideal - especially if you are looking to be close to Canggu & Seminyak hotspots…. Although didn’t feel like it when you’re chilling at the villa, listening to Canggu wildlife during the evening times, as it is quite private while being 4 mins car ride/15 mins walk to the main beach club Finn’s!! Incredible experience, I was blown away and hopefully will be back. Highly recommend!

The villa was beautiful, tastefully decorated and elegant. The pool was perfect! Large with a shallow area perfect for our toddler. The place was super clean and the cleaners were friendly and helpful. The hosts were also friendly and very helpful.

We stayed for four nights at Villa Desa Naga Wonderful place that looks exactly like the photos. It’s an awesome spot to relax during the day, quiet as it’s back from the road and gets plenty of sun by the pool! Very close to all Canggu has to offer, just a quick walk or scooter away! Great communication before we arrived and the host helped organise transport to the villa from the airport for us as well as offering assistance with anything else that we could have needed. Awesome cleaning staff that came by each day and were very helpful. Overall it was everything we needed! Highly recommend

We have had a wonderful week at Lella’s joglo. Close to the beach, restaurants and everything you want during a holiday. The place is very well maintained and looked after by simply great staff! Large swimming pool and peaceful garden! We’ll be back :)

This is a gorgeous villa in a great location. The pool is amazing and you’re between two rice fields so it’s quiet too. It’s on a dead end road so traffic is quieter than usual. Berawa is between Canggu and Seminyak and still close to everything but a little more chilled. Made’s Warung (a local institution) and a great cafe called Good Mantra are just a short stroll away. Especially handy for day 1 before you get a scooter. I’d definitely recommend Desa Naga.

Grazie mille a tutti. We had a pleasant stay at Villa Desa Naga 1. Pool and space were all amazing. Kitchen has everything. Location is great to get to hot spots like restaurants, beach clubs, supermarkets, cafes and shops (especially by scooter/bike). Just be mindful of the mosquitoes in the Villa, as there were plenty of them.

Close to beach bars/restaurants and the hosts were very helpful with scooter rental and airport taxi pickups 5⭐️

Lella's villa is absolutely stunning! The private pool is huge and so inviting, we barely left the villa as we spent so much time in the pool. We loved the outdoor kitchen and bar area, as well as the outdoor bathroom. The villa is conveniently located near several restaurants and about a 10 minute walk to the beach and more restaurants. The villa is spotlessly clean and the gardens lush and well maintained. The villa's driver was very accommodating and suggested several day trips which he could arrange for us. He also made airport transfers very easy. The only downside to the location was that there is multiple construction happening around the villa which can be noisy during the day. There is also a road directly behind the villa which leads to the beach and a lot of trucks and scooters use it which again can make it quite noisy at all times of the day and night. Overall we had a great time at Lella's villa and highly recommend it!

My partner and I loved our stay at Villa Desa Naga. It's in one of the remaining quiet streets in Canggu (Berawa Beach), but still fairly easy walking distance to local shops, restaurants and beach clubs. (Having a scooter would be better, though.) The villa itself is located down a small walkway from the street beside some beautiful rice fields, and is incredibly private. The pool and garden are exactly as pictured - incredibly serene and lovely with birds visiting constantly throughout the day. The villa itself is very comfortable, but do be mindful that this is Bali and the outdoor living areas will inevitably have some ants and bugs - make sure you bring mosquito repellent! The wi-fi was reliable and fast by Bali standards - I was able to work remotely with no issues. The host and villa manager were incredibly responsive to any questions, and the cleaners who came every day were friendly and thorough.

My husband and I had the most amazing time at Villa Desa Naga. We stayed for six nights and found the location perfect to both relax, and go out for dinner or dancing if we felt like it. We were close by to a few excellent eateries (we recommend Milk&Madu for Breakfast and Il Locale for dinner) and a couple nice bars, but the villa itself is secluded and peaceful. We spent hours swimming in the pool and sunning ourselves in the leafy and private garden, and also days exploring the surrounding areas (20mins to Seminyak and 10mins to Canggu beach on a scooter). The daily cleaning and garden upkeep were wonderful additions, as it is always lovely to come home to a clean house and pristine pool. We will definitely come back when possible, and highly recommend it as a place to stay for a couple, or two couples looking for a holiday that balances fun and relaxation!

Absolutely amazing villa and host, they setup a WA group with me a couple of weeks before arrival and sorted transfers and anything else you may want which became so useful. I tried to extend my stay by another two days it was that nice! I rarely write reviews but this was an amazing villa, 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants (Finns if that’s your thing). Thank you!

Lella’s stunning villa, situated in the vibrant heart of Canggu, Bali, exceeded all our expectations. The villa is even more enchanting than the photos depict, with lush green fields and a lively neighborhood filled with beach clubs, unique boutiques, and delightful restaurants. It exudes a wonderful energy - serene, tranquil, and incredibly private. We were so captivated by our stay that we canceled our other bookings to extend our time in this beautiful haven. We had a relaxing few days here in July & it was fabulous ! Weather was absolutely perfect with gentle sea breeze . Communication with the management team was quick & any little problems were quickly resolved ( no water !!!) I had several massages here to the sounds of Bali geckos & the bells of the street sellers , wonderful . Walking distance to the beach , huge selection on grab nearby if you didn’t want to leave the villa’s comfort at night . Highly recommend & enjoy ! Missing that enormous pool already . . .

Good communication with host. The location is close to Finns and Atlas beach clubs. There are nice cafes near the villa. Very nice pool and well-equipped kitchen facilities. only one thing you should notice is the insects at the toilets. And the short walk with little lamp poles lighting is required to the villa from the major road which may be a safety issue for individual visitor

This beautiful place was our first stop on our trip to Bali and we felt welcome and at home from the first moment we arrived. The communication with the owner was easy and fast from the start. The villa is charming . The spacious , perfectly designed outdoor living area / kitchen has a fantastic harmonic atmosphere. Beds are very comfortable and have good mosquito protection. It is quiet and green, so very close to the beach and lots of cafes and restaurants. The contact person on site has organised our pick up from and to the airport, as well as a driver for our trips. We would happily choose this place again in case we come back to Bali.

Great place to stay, super clean and tidy. Cleaned daily which was dreamy. Slightly off the beaten track of busy Canggu which was perfect. Close walking distance to shops and cafe's. Would 100% recommend. Thank you for our stay!!

Villa Desa Naga 1 is the best choice to live in the Canggu area, offers tranquillity and complete relax, at the same time allowing to arrive in few minutes to the best restaurants and beaches. Lella is a super host and provided everything that I needed to make me feel at home. Villa Desa Naga 1 was my home away from home.

We spent absolutely amazing month on villa in a quite place surrounded with the rice fields but near the all famous places in Canggu. Atmospheric location, really good service, friendly staff. Would recommend for the families with children but also for the people who try to catch the own wave in their life. Iconic tropical villa by Lella - is the best place in Bali I have a chance to stay, just try it and you will have best memories. As for myself will try to catch this villa next time on Bali =)

Such a lovely and clean place; all the staff were super friendly and helpful—highly recommended stay. The villa was lush and luxurious, you could stay under the sun all day with the surrounding greenery and pool.

Stayed at Lella’s place in Nov-Dec 22. The place is great, with an awesome local vibe to it. Exactly matches the pictures. Pretty quiet and close to restaurants and other attractions. The host is great, always kept in touch. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely well-placed villa. It’s a beautifully-furnished and well set out space for a quiet bit of relaxation, with great location for the nearby beaches and cafes. The help from Rudi and the service team throughout our stay was extremely responsive and helped us organise everything we wanted to in Bali.

The villa is amazing. It has a great pool and is surrounded by nature. The cleaning staff was super helpful and friendly. We met some cute geckos and crabs 🦀 in the garden and bathroom. Although the the villa is in a quiet area and the beach is close, the area overall has a lot of traffic and it’s not really possible to reach things on foot from there. With a scooter things are easier to get to! Overall top! Definitely recommended! Thanks for having us

Very beautiful villa, the location was great and the whole place felt like paradise. The private pool was great for swimming anytime we wanted. The villa included two sets of towels, one for swimming and one for the bathroom. Unfortunately, there were some small stains on the bathroom towels, but that is really the only thing that could be improved. Super overall!

Lella's place is located in a quieter area of Canggu but just a short walk to plenty of restaurants and shops. The place is thoughtfully decorated, the pool was a treat and the beds were comfy. Lella and Rudi were easy to communicate with and helped organise things for us. We couldn't have asked for more!

What a nice stay! Loved waking up surrounded by greenery and jumping in the pool and loved even more sitting on the couch at night overlooking the pool sipping by glass of wine. The ambience, the location and the comfort of the villa made my stay in Canguu even more pleasant. Looking forward to staying at Lella’s villa soon!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr genossen. Man hat sich sofort wohl gefühlt und das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit. Mit dem Roller ist alles leicht zu erreichen.

This villa was the perfect choice for our stay. Walking distance to great cafes, amenities etc but still a lovely quiet location with rice fields on both sides. Great for friends sharing as both bedrooms are the same size and style and we loved the garden and pool area to relax in.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad. De accommodatie zag er geweldig uit en voelde als thuis tijdens ons verblijf. Het huis werd dagelijks schoongemaakt en we werden voorzien van zowel strandhanddoeken als douchehanddoeken. De communicatie met Lella verliep perfect en zorgde voor een warm verblijf.

Definitely recommend Lella’s villa, our stay was great. The villa is in a great location in Canggu and can easily get to nearby restaurants/cafes etc with a scooter or walking distance. The place is clean and well decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful, Rudi was easily contactable and helped us with whatever we needed. Unfortunately there wasn’t a washing machine or dryer accessible to guests as listed, which was the only thing that could have been better. Other than that a really great stay, Thanks Lella.

Gorgeous villa. The pool and garden were so amazing I often didn’t leave the house just to enjoy it. The staff was so lovely and helpful. They took really good care of me and tended to my every need. Lella was very thoughtful as a host and made sure to check in on me. I really enjoyed this place and would come back in a heartbeat!

My husband and I enjoyed a short stay at Desa Naga Villa. We did not want to leave and will definitely be back. The villa is well appointed, stylings and comfortable. Situated in the Tibubeneng area, with Canggu, makes for a more private get away. Rudi helped us arrange a bike for a few days which I would recommend as the private location means it isn’t in the thick of the busy noisy parts of Canggu. The pool is divine and totally private. We also ate at Parachute restaurant, up the road and recommend it. Thanks for having us. We will be back.

We’ve stayed in several villas in Berawa and Canggu and this is our favourite so far. It’s stylish, quiet and most of all really spacious. Also has more style and character than other places. Pool is big and perfect for a few laps. If I *have to* find something to complain about I’d say there’s more central listings, but honestly, this wasn’t an issue for us with bikes.

Wonderful little villa tucked away on the back streets of Canggu but not too far from the shops, restaurants, clubs and beach.

One of our favourite trips to Bali, all thanks to such an awesome villa! I could stay here for a month. Beautiful villa, lovely pool, full open kitchen and open living area. The beds and pillows and decorations showed the taste and care provided by the host! Rudi and the support staff were great! If you care bout Canggu and want to come with kids and be near Finn’s clubs this is the place to be. My favourite eat spots were parachute, milu by nook and indigo!

We had a fabulous time staying st Lella’s beautiful villa. The villa was comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool & garden were perfect. Staff lovely too. This villa was in a great location with ease of access to beach, local restaurants etc. Our only real issue was the noise. Upon arrival it was harvesting time for rice field outside property and there was a loud contraption that was going all the time making a contact clacking noise to scare the birds away from eating the rice. Not really Lella issue but did distract from the peacefulness of the villa & its surroundings. Internet was down for a day but that’s Bali life too and can’t be helped. We would defo stay again. Thanks to Lella, Rudi, Madi & Ketut for making our stay so lovely & welcoming.

The villa is very great ,spacious and clean . Its better than the pictures. The location is canggu which is a nice and calm place there is some cafe shops and stores u can go by walk

We loved Desa Naga, the villa was spacious and stylish. The pool was fantastic and evething was super clean (cleaners daily) location was perfect, away from the busy streets but close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. And quiet with the rice paddy next door. 10 min walk to the beach. We were given great tips (get onto gojet it was a life saver) cheap and easier transport and food delivery (It's pretty much uber) we will definitely return when we visit Canggu again. Thanks to the team over at Desa Naga we had the best time

I stayed with my husband at Lella’s villa in July for my 30th birthday and it was just what we wanted. The villa is beautiful and peaceful and was perfect for the two of us. There was a daily gardener and maid who were friendly and kept the place clean and tidy. Lella and Rudi were fantastic with communication and were really helpful with arranging checkin times, bike rental and a taxi back to the airport. If you are looking for a place to relax in a quiet part of Canggu, but which is also close to great cafes and the beach (though a bike is a must really in Canggu), this is a great choice. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

This villa is a truly perfect place to stay for a trip to Bali. An absolutely beautiful property, very comfortable and well-maintained with an amazing private pool. Location in Canggu is ideal, 10min walk to the beach and amenities close by including some great restaurants. Lella and Rudi were great hosts and very helpful. We stayed for 2 weeks and wish it had been longer. Highly recommended!

Great location, just near Berawa shops and cafes, but down a back road near rice fields so it’s quiet and peaceful—you can even hear the ocean! Rudi the manager was super helpful and the little touches like pool towels and a beautiful space make it memorable. The pool is huge and the grassy area is perfect for relaxing.

Lellas villa is absolutely beautiful. Great location on the quite side of Canggu but a nice 10 minute scooter in the hussle of main street. All the staff are beautiful and nothing is too much to ask of Rudi. Highly recommended this Villa.

We loved our stay at Villa Desa Naga 1. The location was perfect for us - 15 minutes by scooter to Echo Beach to the north, and the same to Seminyak to the south, with plenty of local eateries and facilities nearby. It's a lovely quiet spot yet close to everything we wanted. A rice paddy next door, nice and quiet, yet close to all we needed. Love the grounds of the villa, as we like to have a bit of green space rather than just feeling "walled in" around the pool as so many other Bali villas can. We stayed over Nyepi, and it was lovely spot to spend the day reading by the pool, with good kitchen facilities to keep ourselves well fed while we couldn't leave the villa. The pizzeria on the same road was the only place open on Nyepi eve for miles around, so was bustling and definitely lived up to its name. A couple of cafes a short walk from the villa are great for breakfast, and the local supermarket is easily walkable as well. The villa staff were wonderful - efficient, professional and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

We liked the place a lot. Pool and garden makes it the best. Me, my wife and our son is super happy about choosing this as our base for 2 weeks when we explored Canggu. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed our stay, the place is beautiful. The pool and grounds are well taken care of and private. It was helpful to have a motorbike to get around. It was only a few minutes away from great restaurants. Rudy was great and arranged transportation from the airport. The location is not what was shown on Airbnb or at the adress shown on google maps, but it was nice and quiet. Its close to Parachute. We would definitely stay here again!

This villa is fantastic! Perfect location between Seminyak and Canggu proper. Nice and quiet with lots of food and drink options close by. If shopping is your thing, there are a few options - though not as many as Seminyak - within ten or so minutes walk. The villa itself is sensational. So comfortable and relaxing, it gets sun for most of the day and the pool is perfect for cooling off. There are also some friendly resident frogs and lizards to make you feel like you’re amongst nature. We loved our stay here and will be back again.

We immediately fell in love with Lella’s stylish beach villa. An oasis of calm. We were happy to spend time in the breezy garden, by the pool, overlooking rice paddies and listen to the distant waves. Her home is so well thought out and in a great location. Very good options for good food a short 5 minute walk - (Parachute set in rice paddies; the Savage Kitchen - with options for vegetarians, the Joglo with restaurant and Pilates studio). Close to Bounce and Splash if you have kids. Also close to Canggu market for a supermarket with ATMs. The check in and check out, with Rudi, were super smooth and the house was kept in immaculate condition by the housekeeper, Tessa. We happened to be there during the 6.9 Lombok earthquake (which also shook Bali strongly)and Rudi called in to check on us immediately. We felt very safe in the house. Just gorgeous all round and would happily return!

I have just departed after 6 amazing nights at this beautiful villa! The villa is spacious, clean, located in a great spot and the pool is huge! Absolutely loved every minute. Excellent location, quite but walking distance to the beach. Very warm welcome by Rudi who can also teach you to surf! Stylish and clean villa with good privacy and all equipment working! To get to Canggu centre a scooter of car is helpful(10mts.).

Perfect villa to kick back and relax at for a few days

Myself and my two friends had a wonderfull stay at the villa. It was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing which is exactly what we wanted. The decor was lovely and we loved the outdoor living space and pool. Rudi who manages the villa was really helpful and gave us some great recommendations. He was always available if we needed anything. We would highly recommend staying here!

Desa Naga is probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. My wife and I spent 2 weeks here and were so sad to leave! Rudi and the rest of the staff made it an incredible stay. The villa itself is gorgeous and stocked with everything you need. It’s located in a quiet part of Canggu, so you do need a motorbike, but there are countless cafes, restaurants, yoga, the beach, and 2 grocery stores within a 5 minute ride. It was incredibly livable and convenient to do anything. Rudi also gave us some surf lessons, and is a patient, enthusiastic teacher. All in all I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Canggu!

You will not absolutely regret to stay in this special place! Best part: the well maintained beautiful pool side with the open living room and the unique green in the bathroom.

This villa was awesome! The place was clean and nice. It was well worth the money. Close to the beach and in a great and quiet location. Upon our arrival we were helped with a otter rentals and surfboard rentals. Very well experience and would stay there again!

Spent about two weeks at this idyllic villa on the quiet side of Canggu. While very walkable to great restaurants, the beach and an amazing gourmet market, the villa is a perfect quiet hideaway from the busy Bali streets. The rooms were excellent (very strong a/c) and the pool is utterly amazing with a built in ledge for soaking the hours away. The staff (Rudi and Tessa) are top-notch and hyper responsive. Just go.

Super nice place next to a nice rice paddy, with nice layout and great beds. Only thing missing is a micro wave, but we made do with the stove and pans. Tessa's breakfasts are super yummy, but we also enjoyed the proximity of other breakfast places within walking distance.

This is such an amazing place, full of love and good vibes. Staying at Villa Desa Naga is a delight for the heart and the soul. I will will certainly return and can’t wait to be back to this oasis of peace. Thank you Lella for your outstanding hospitality.

Lela’s place is even better in person! It’s very accurate to the pictures although actually feels a lot bigger in person. It felt like an incredibly social space with loads of areas to lounge. The pool is a great size and is cleaned every day by a fantastic pool guy who does an incredible job leaving the pool spotless! Rudi who helps check you in is only a WhatsApp away and can literally help you with anything! He sorted bikes, taxis, tips and is still helping me even though I’m no longer at the villa! The garden is a great size and isn’t overlooked at all, it also means that throughout the day you can sit anywhere around the pool and still be able to tan, unless raining of course. The WiFi is quick and reliable all in all we had a fabulous stay here very convenient location to restaurants and not to far from the nightlife or seminyak. Thank you Lela and rudi for an enjoyable stay couldn’t recommend more :)

We have been in the villa from September 9th to 25th. The villa is in a nice quiet location. The villa and garden are well maintained and completely walled, giving you lots of freedom. There is a full kitchen, but there is no microwave in the room. One idea might be to add 2 small fauteuls because the bags for the elderly are less difficult. Greetings Hennie and Wim

Villa Desa Naga is the perfect place to stay: it is peaceful, immerse in the nature of Bali, close to shops and restaurants and to one of the best Yoga centers in the island I have been really glad to stay there, surfing at Berawa beach in the morning and practising yoga in the villa in the afternoon The pool is very big compared to Bali’s average dimensions, the garden is flowrished and perfumed: no one disturbing but the sound of the ocean and the birds in the morning. Clean, service in the morning every day, the villa manager always ready to support and help out with any need I had. I would definitely return at my next trip to Bali

The villa is well located in Brawa. The beach, restaurants, cafés and boutiques are walking distance. Renovated Villa and modernized yet with a very Baleanese style. The rooms are clean and big. Kitchen is fully equiped, the pool is big. Will surely come again.

The beach is waking distance. I was here alone but the villa is fantastically places within other 4 villas, so not isolated and very safe. We had a lovely stay at Villa Desa Naga. It is a beautiful villa, well maintained with a beautiful garden. Whilst close to shops and restaurants it is idyllically quiet. On evenings, sitting on the patio, you hear the birds, the wind and the waves from the nearby ocean. Pure peace for the soul. We will definitely come back!

Lella's villa in Bali is simply amazing, perfect location for couples or families. Proximity to the most sought after beaches of Bali, where you can enjoy memorable sunsets, and walking distance accesses to close by restaurants makes it a really good location. Lella , the host, is friendly and always available of WhatsApp and ready to answer any questions or direct you to local points of reference who speak English. The pool is children friendly on one side and deep enough to swim in the length. Outdoor shower is fantastic after a dip in the water. Kitchen very well equipped, you can serve 8 people easily. Fridge comfortable and freezer with ice making facilities ( very convenient for drinks by the pool...) Rooms have bathrooms en suite and are very private, bright and fresh. parking for scooters right outside. We loved our time here and would definitely recommend. Best
