Exploring Inspirit Tree-house Cahaya (formerly Skai Joglo) left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Inspirit Tree-house Cahaya (formerly Skai Joglo) was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kecamatan Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Inspirit Tree-house Cahaya (formerly Skai Joglo) painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
有很多蚂蚁，太多蚂蚁了，睡的人浑身痒，严重过敏，卫生间蚂蚁多的无法使用，阳台也是，根本不敢乱动，包括纸巾盒里也有很多蚂蚁，性价比极低，早餐也很难吃！！大家注意！马桶还堵着的！虫子太多太多了，太崩溃了
약간의 청소에 문제가 있었고 몇몇 개선되어야할 사항이 있었지만, 호스트분과 그 팀분들은 따뜻하고 좋은분들 이십니다. 하루빨리 개선되길 바랍니다.
Ana was super responsive and the staff were lovely.
We stayed at the villa for 4 nights. Derma was good and very active. All the helpers were really friendly and responsive. The place is not well maintained. The wood is old and not treated and the house has an odd smell. It’s not worth the money you will spend at all.

Het ziet er top uit op de foto’s. In het echt toch wat minder. Gaaf gebouwd. En verblijf was oké, maar prijs kwaliteit is echt ver te zoeken ivm de rest van Bali. Wel bijzondere ervaring en mooi uitzicht, lief personeel. Maar wat waren bv die witte korrels in het zwembadje? Chloor? Of wat? Locatie is so so.
The host is very nice and carrying . We can’t swim because The pool is not clean at all. The place is full of incests but of course we’re In the middle of Rice fields, but you have to be careful about it.

Certainly the most unusual accommodation I have had in Bali. The design, the materials chosen, the almost perfect harmony with nature, nothing to say the accommodation is exceptional, I recommend it to all lovers of nature and architecture. There are 3 things that I found a bit disturbing. The fact that we were informed on arrival that we had to check out before 10am. Personally, I'm on holiday, I have a luxurious flat and I intend to enjoy a relaxing morning. So having to start picking up my things at 9am to be ready at 10am is not pleasant. I had to insist heavily to get a noon departure, the norm everywhere in Bali. This spoiled my afternoon a bit. Fortunately the manager finally agreed to a late departure and everything went well. - The breakfast is ridiculous unless you pay an extra $25. A slice of sandwich bread cut in half, a scrambled egg, a micro plate of fruit and a coffee. No juice. Again, this is far from the norm in Bali. Fortunately we found a smoothie bar not far away that delivered an excellent granola and pancakes. - The scooter rental charged for 2 days for a duration of 24 hours ... It speaks for itself. Apart from these 3 points, everything is wonderful. There are some pretty good restaurants within walking distance. If you contact them via WhatsApp, they will deliver without any worries and you can then enjoy your meal in this exceptional house. Thanks to the staff who were remarkably kind
Nous avons passé une nuit avec mon mari et ma fille. L’environnement manque crutiallement de verdure du coup on perd un peu le côté dépaysant du lieu. Trop de vis à vis sur les autre chambres et vraiment très bruyant on entend toute la nuit les scooter passer. ( ainsi que la pluie qui tombe ). Ça reste une agréable expérience . Le personnel est incroyable d’une gentillesse et aimable à 1000% . Ce logement pour une nuit en expériences est très bien. Quelques point à améliorer et ça sera parfait
Sehr schön um einen Abend zu entspannen. Gebuchte Massage war pünktlich und gut. Schwimmendes Frühstück war sehr hübsch und lecker.
Casa stupenda, l’host meraviglioso ti soddisfa in ogni desiderio. La vista della casa ti mette un grande relax.
ウブドの森林空間を自分たちのものだけに出来る感覚がとても良かった。家具等やプールも可愛かった。バスルームやプールはさすがに森の中なので、蚊の対策が必要でしたが、蚊取り線香の準備もあるし、戸締りをしっかりすれば問題なかったです。
Wspaniałe miejsce po środku dżungli. Willa posiada własną kuchnię i dwie osobne sypialnie. Super miejsce na nocowanie w większym gronie.

Très belle cabane dans les bois. Très bien placé sur Ubud, ce n’est pas trop loin du centre. Ils proposent assez bien de service, mais à mon sens un peu trop cher … Attention si vous avez des allergies l’hôte ne changera pas le petit déjeuné, mais il vous proposera autre chose de payant … dommage.
Très bon accueil, cocktail a l’arrivée, personnel souriant et serviable. Nous avons pu profiter d’un bon massage dans notre villa ! (Supplement à payer) Belle villa, en revanche plus impressionnante en photo, prix assez élevé pour deux personnes par rapport à la concurrence . Environnement assez bruyant, travaux la journée et le soir beaucoup de bruit (fête). Il y avait également du vis à vis depuis notre terrasse sur celle des voisins .
La villa est conforme à la description en tout points. Facile d’accès et bien accueilli. On recommande ce logement qui se situe en pleine nature. Les + : - la tranquillité - la villa - le service - la piscine Les - : - les insectes - le bois rongé par les mites - le prix Attention, la description est très fidèle à la réalité donc si vous avez une peur des insectes le logement n’est pas fait pour vous ! Dans les chambres nous retrouvons des lézards, des petits oiseaux, des fourmis, des araignées. Attention aux mites, car à certains endroits il y’a des nids donc penser à bien fermer vos valises, sacs ! Mon avis sur le prix est mitigé, un peu trop élevé pour ce genre de villa à Bali. Cela reste une expérience à vivre de part son lieu et son architecture.
My husband and I had the most incredible stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were absolutely blown away by the beauty of the house and its stunning jungle view. Every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully taken care of. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals (not that we did), and we enjoyed our breakfast on the spacious terrace while taking in the panoramic views. The bedroom was not only comfortable but also offered a direct view of the jungle, making us feel like we were in our private paradise. If you're seeking a tranquil retreat where you can immerse yourself in nature's beauty without sacrificing comfort and convenience, this is the perfect place for you. But note that since it's amongst the jungle, insects & lizards (both big and small) will be a normal sight during your stay here.
Le logement correspond aux photos très belle endroit nous avons adoré la chambre du bas avec la piscine. Nous avons pris les fleurs dans la piscine c’était magnifique mais cela reste cher pour ma part sachant que les fleurs ne peuvent pas rester plus de 2 h dans la piscine. Le ménage de la chambre du haut n’était pas bien fait et une grosse tache sur le rideau du lit était présente.
Stay was wonderful overall. The address in maps takes you to a resort about a 7 min drive from actual location, so make sure to get clear instructions ahead of time(actual villa name since there are multiple). Made renting a motorbike very easy by bringing it to us at villa. We opted to use the laundry service (ps. over priced as we found a few half as much $ later) and unfortunately had items missing when our laundry was returned(I don’t believe it was on purpose as things do happen, but be sure to count your pieces of clothing before to make sure you get back what you gave). Overall the villa was beautiful just as described in photos, and a good location in Ubud!

Unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to actually stay at Cahaya Joglo due to unforeseen natural circumstances…there had been significant rain prior to our arrival and consequently the pool was unusable which made a stay impossible for us, given that we have children whose primary requirement in Bali was pool pool pool! HOWEVER…the property is AMAZING!!! It is absolutely exactly as described in the listing & really quite a magnificent treehouse. Spotlessly clean with stunning views in all directions. Darma was a pleasure to deal with. Highly communicative & very helpful & genuine. I look forward to staying at this location on a return visit to Ubud…
Ana Lestari’s place is really beautiful and perfect for a couple wanting to spend some private time away from the hustle and bustle of the main city center. The location is close to a rice field which provides a beautiful view and there is also an attic room which is extremely well done. The shower is a semi outdoor one and it comes with a beautiful pool where you can order floating breakfast. However, the floating breakfast rates are expensive as compared to other similar places and the menu is fixed. The staff is really polite. Big thanks to Darma and April for making our stay memorable.
Personalet er SÅ venlige og hjælpsomme, vi havde lejet scootere og var ved at blive snydt for penge, men manageren dukkede op og hjalp os! Så sød! Dog er der uendelig mange tissemyre overalt i boligen. Der er ikke lukket af så dyr er indenfor. Sengeborderne var fyldt med æg af en eller anden slags, og der var også bag hovedpuderne den første nat. Ellers super dejligt ophold og personalet er så søde!

Great stay with an incredible view of the jungle and fields right in front of you. The location was just a quick ride from most spots, so it made a perfect home base for our time in Ubud.
Beautiful villa with a perfect location
My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at Ana's place. The scenery was beautiful and I particularly loved the peaceful, delicious breakfasts looking out onto the jungle and rice field. One of my favorite memories is sitting outside afterwards while the geckos came to inspect our leftovers (something I'll remember forever). The beds were comfy, and I was surprised how few mosquitoes there were inside. The outdoor shower was lovely, with plenty of water pressure and warm water. The location felt close enough to Ubud centre that getting there didn't take forever, but far enough to escape the hustle and bustle. Food delivery was easy. Our main contact, Kadek, was responsive, friendly and attentive. Being a tree house made almost entirely of wood, the soundproofing isn't great, but quiet hours were respected so we didn't find it a nuisance. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a convenient base for Ubud with a quiet jungle feel. It was a highlight of our trip.

Wir hatten drei wunderbare Tage in der Unterkunft. Die Kommunikation mit dem Host war perfekt. Von der Organisation von Transfers (bei uns vom Flughafen) bis zum Mieten von Rollern war alles problemlos möglich. Die Unterkunft ist privat und ruhig gelegen. Man fühlt sich wie im Urwald. Aktivitäten sind von hier aus leicht zu planen und die Rollerfahrt ins Zentrum von Ubud dauert nicht lange. Zu erwähnen ist auch das Frühstück. Es ist jeden Tag flexibel zu buchen und immer sehr gut.
The accommodation was beautiful, spacious and surrounded by nature The villa offered services such as tour booking, massages/facials , pool flower mandella , floating breakfast , regular breakfast included and more. The place was clean, tidy and real experience in nature as you are surrounded by greenery although there are neighbours/ other tree houses a couple metres away however it still was private. Very peaceful and relaxing.

This was such a lovely stay, such a creative space. The plunge pool looks out over the jungle and the kitchen has a beautiful lounging area that also has excellent ambient lighting at night. The staff were also very kind. The bedroom was quite dreamy, with windows out to the trees. A lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Cahaya Tree / Inspirit Ubud. The villa is beautiful and surrounded by rice fields and lush trees, which makes the whole place feel very peaceful and relaxing. The villa had everything we needed. It has a lovely small swimming pool, an outdoor dining area and a comfortable lounge space where we could just sit and enjoy the ambiance. I would say it is also very photogenic, perfect if you enjoy scenic villa /jungle vibe photos. I especially loved the bedroom with its attached bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had complete amenities which made the stay very convenient. The area is quiet and perfect if you are looking for a peaceful stay in Ubud. I honestly wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for accommodating us, we would happily come back again!

Fantastic stay in the Cahaya treehouse. I stayed over Nyepi as a treat to myself and it was such a beautiful place to rest and be in nature. The team were super responsive to any questions I had pre and during my stay, were lovely and accommodating, even leaving me extra food over Nyepi. Highly recommend.

The host, staff and facility is great. I was especially satisfied with their responsiveness, friendly communication and proactive approach. It is a place where families, couples or single travellers can stay. The location is very tranquil and isolated while also being close to Ubud town centre by scooter or car. There is a wide selection of restaurants and cafes around too. In all heartedness, I would like to stay here again when in Ubud, Bali. I want to again thank you to the staff for their friendly touch to my trip.

After staying briefly in a hotel, the Cahaya Tree House was a marvelous contrast. The architecture is minimalist, cosy and so well thought through. It was like living in a relatively spacious sailboat. The little plunge pool is fun, the openness of the back side (jungle view) and the privacy of the front is perfect. The neighborhood is just far enough from center of Ubud to be truly peaceful. The staff brought a lovely breakfast every day, and the driver they arranged (Jero Yasa) was marvelous - happy to provide suggestions but not pushing his own agenda. The bike tour with Sepeda Bali was also marvelous. And we discovered restaurant with delicious food and a great vibe just 500 m down the road: Casa Curandera. That, and the nearby Alchemy Yoga center were our mainstays. Just wish we could have stayed longer!
We enjoyed this place more then we expected. Beautiful view, very friendly host/guys that served us breakfast every morning were so friendly. We had no issue with bugs or loud noises. Just peaceful sleep and breakfast with a beautiful view of the Jungle. Tip the guys who serve the breakfast daily. They definitely deserve it. Can't wait to return!!!! Thank you for the wonderful experience!!!

This jungle villa is perfect for a scenic and quiet escape. I enjoyed to be immersed in nature, and the view from the pool over the creek and rice paddies and right into the tree crowns. I personally had no issues with mosquitoes at all. Also the place was quiet at night. I had a great sleep and enjoyed the delicious breakfast the next morning. The whole team was super nice and helpful. For me it was a perfect stay.

Had an incredible stay. The outside space was even more beautiful than the pictures. Saw lots of wildlife. Highly recommend doing the flower pool and private massage at the villa that the manager can arrange for you. My wife and I had tons of fun in the pool with the flowers. It was a great way to spend our wedding anniversary!

I had the best stay at Villa Cahaya! From the beautiful villa overlooking the rice paddy and the river. Peaceful and serene! The recommended Warung was perfect with amazing delivery right to the villa door. The delicious coffee and breakfast in the morning. Thank you for a fantastic stay! I will definitely be back!

Wat een droomplek. Wij verbleven 2 nachten in Treehouse Cahaya en dat stelde niet teleur. Het is zo mooi gemaakt met het moderne stucwerk icm het traditionele houtwerk. Het zwembad met prachtig uitzicht is ook heerlijk. Helaas zie je door de goed gegroeide jungle de rijstvelden bijna niet, maar ook dit uitzicht is geweldig. Wij kwamen 2 uur eerder aan en mochten ondanks de vroege aankomst toch al naar binnen, heel fijn! De uitleg van de host was uitgebreid en het verzorgde ontbijt (inbegrepen) prima. Je waant je hier in een oase van rust met toch het centrum van Ubud op scooterafstand dichtbij.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt! Das Personal war super freundlich und antwortete immer sehr schnell auf unsere Nachrichten. Das Floating-Breakfast können wir sehr empfehlen, auch wenn es für 2 Personen fast zu viel ist. Der Wäscheservice funktionierte einwandfrei und sehr zuverlässig. Sehr zu empfehlen ist es, beim nahegelegnen Warung Mandi etwas zu Abendessen zu bestellen. Schnelle Lieferung und super Lecker für sehr wenig Geld! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.☺️
Nous avons passé une nuit formidable au sein de cette villa. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Rika et Batashi qui on pris le temps de bien nous expliquer toutes les fonctionnalitées et services de la villa. Ils sont au petit soin pour que nous passions un agréable séjour. Nous avons profité de service proposé par la villa ( massage, nourriture à domicile)qui est facilité par une réactivité de nos hôtes. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

We had a wonderful stay at Inspirit! The villa was everything we hoped for and more. Beautiful jungle surroundings and located close to central Ubud. Darma and Ana’s staff were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They brought our breakfast each morning (ordered the night before) and we ate outside by the pool. We definitely recommend to nature lovers and those seeking a serene, private stay!

Everyone involved in the whole process was extremely kind friendly, and warm 10/10 staff. Will definitely stay here again my next time in Ubud. Definitely recommend taking Grab scooters as you mode of transportation. Ubud is a very beautiful city by traffic can be heavy at times.

We had a wonderful stay in this treehouse, it’s incredibly surreal and soothing to be sleeping under the stars and amongst the noises of the jungle. The staff were all extremely attentive and friendly, accommodating late check in, and organising breakfast and massages for us. We would definitely stay again!
Wir haben in einem Baumhaus übernachtet – eine richtig coole Erfahrung! In der ersten Nacht haben wir uns allerdings über die vielen Insekten beschwert. Die Eigentümer waren sehr freundlich und verständnisvoll: Sie boten uns an, das Geld für die zweite Nacht zurückzuerstatten, falls wir dort nicht mehr übernachten möchten. Das fanden wir wirklich grosszügig. Trotzdem haben wir uns entschieden, zu bleiben. Der Eigentümer kam sogar nochmals persönlich vorbei, um sich zu erkundigen, ob alles in Ordnung ist, und hat uns versichert, dass keine Gefahr besteht. Natürlich ist es ganz normal, in einem Baumhaus auf Insekten zu treffen – das gehört irgendwie dazu. Das Personal war durchweg sehr nett. Besonders April war unglaublich höflich, freundlich, verständnisvoll und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt war es eine tolle und besondere Erfahrung!

What a beautiful place to stay. This in itself was worth it, but what made it perfect was Darma and his team taking the time to help us move around to the spots we wanted to visit, with helpful advice and going above and beyond to assist us to the next location of our holiday

A Hidden Slice of Paradise — Truly Unforgettable ! This place is a hidden paradise! I usually stay in luxury hotels like Anantara or Oberoi, but this time I needed something real — to reconnect with nature and feel the true soul of Bali. And I found it here. I'm so glad I ignored the warnings about bugs and embraced this magical place. Waking up to the sound of the jungle, sipping coffee while butterflies dance in the sunlight — it’s pure joy. Photos don’t do justice to the peace and beauty you feel here. I was never disturbed by bugs (just a few hardworking ants in the bathroom — charming little roommates!). The staff are warm and attentive. Darma, the manager, is amazing-calm, kind, and able to arrange everything: food, yoga, even spa treatments right on your terrace. The location is perfect for exploring Ubud’s highlights, yet it’s quiet enough to truly disconnect and breathe. If you’re looking for something authentic, peaceful, and soul-soothing— this is it. Strongly recommended!
This is one of the coolest places we stayed in all of Bali. The staff was incredible, the breakfast included was delicious, the treehouse itself was so aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to sleep and hangout in. The tub is such a nice touch in the gorgeous jungle as well. Would highly recommend!

we had an amazing stay at Ana's place! the house was beautiful and located in a peaceful area, not too far away from Ubud's downtown. we had a brief wifi issue upon check-in but the management team solved the issue quickly. one note I have is on the upper-level bedroom - depending on your age or bathroom visit frequency, the wooden stairs might not be very accessible for you (especially at night) :).

Very nice place, just like the pictures showed. Darma was very helpful in organizing trips from the Vila, scooters and even the next part of our trip, even a few days after we already checked out. The classic breakfast was very nice and tasty and the floating breakfast looked super good and delicious. To my surprise the place also had a very nice temperature, it was the perfect temperature to sleep and we did not even need the AC even though it was super warm and humid outside. Highly recommend the place and would stay again without a doubt.
La communication s’est très bien passé avec l’hôte avant l’arrivé . Plein de services proposés en avance pour pouvoir profiter pleinement du séjour. Ils ont respecté une demande particulière que j’ai fait avec un message en pétales sur le lit. Concernant le séjour, faut être à l’aise avec les bruit de la faune tropicale. Et ainsi avec les différents visiteur de celle ci. Un séjour en communion avec la nature. Merci à l’hôte pour tout nous avons passé une séjour magnifique

Beautiful stay in the jungle but close to restaurants, hikes and shops— loved our time here and was an absolutely magical stay. The amenities and the space itself were absolutely beautiful, the staff was supremely friendly, and the natural environment was top notch.
Bardzo polecam to miejsce. Było pięknie i majestatycznie w akompaniamencie ogrodu w formie dżungli. Ludzie zajmujący się obiektem są życzliwi i mega pomocni. Darma to człowiek, który zorganizował dla nas wiele spraw oraz atrakcji zaczynając od kierowcy z lotniska przez wynajem skutera aż po organizację wycieczek. Jeżeli jesteś pierwszy raz na bali to będzie świetne miejsce dla Ciebie bo chłopaki pomogą Ci w pierwszych dniach. Lokalizacja jest świetna - blisko do centrum Ubud a jednocześnie jest to dobra baza wypadowa w każde miejsce na Bali.

This place is quite nice, it is close enough but also far enough to stay away from the chaos of Ubud while still being able to get there easily, the breakfast and the place are great it has a very nice view and the staff is very helpful.

Beautiful spot within a short distance of the hustle/bustle of Ubud centre. We had no issues with mosquitos, the villa provided mosquito repellent + coils which we lit. We even spelt with the door open and still no bites! A great nature escape with a couple of amenities in walking distance and everyone is really friendly :)

Nous avons passé 2 jours hors du temps dans cette maison (ou plutôt cabane dans les arbres) avec une magnifique vue sur les rizières. Tellement paisible, on se sent bien dans la maison. Le personnel est très réactif et aux petits soins pour toute question. Nous recommandons ce logement pour les personnes souhaitant vivre une expérience atypique.
What a magical spot! We absolutely loved staying here and most definitely could have stayed for longer. They were very friendly and when we arrived went through everything with us which was helpful. The breakfast was so yummy. The best we had on the trip. There are noises through the night, but nothing you don’t expect given it’s in the jungle which you know when you book. We always felt safe and everyone was very kind. The only slight thing was responses can be a little slow. We arranged a massage at the house which was fantastic and they were very amenable to a late checkout which was very kind. I’ll be back!

You will get perfect pictures for social media. You will get perfect equipted kitchen. Realy nothing bad to say. For our wedding day, they bring us floating breakfast, for free. Thank you so much. Our weddings in Bali was perfect.
Beautiful home, looks just like pictures. Only negative is that the home isn’t as private as I would of liked. Workers constantly working on the side of villa, could hear next door renters yelling. Other than that, the place was super neat and clean, staff were pleasant and responsive!

We hadden een super ervaring met dit verblijf. We verbleven hier voor onze honeymoon. Bij onze aankomst was het bed mooi versierd. Het uitzicht met het zwembad was echt prachtig! Het personeel was eveneens heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We beklommen de mount batur en kwamen later aan dan het ontbijtuur, maar kregen toch nog een ontbijt aangeboden. Verder vonden we dat de insecten goed meevielen. In het huisje liggen flessen insectenlotion. We huurden ook een scooter bij het verblijf, dit was meteen geregeld en zeker in orde. Een aanrader om tot rust te komen. Dicht genoeg bij het centrum, maar ver genoeg om uit de drukte te zijn. Dankjewel om ons verblijf zo aangenaam te maken.
Heerlijk verblijf gehad. Wij zijn 1 nachtje gebleven en hebben genoten van het prachtige uitzicht en de geluiden van de dieren. In elke kamer stond een flesje lotion tegen de muggen. Fijne service. We kregen en lekker welkomstdrankje en daarna hadden we via Darma een duomassage geboekt welke gegeven werd in 1 van de twee slaapkamers. De volgende dag hadden we een drijvend ontbijt besteld en dat was echt geweldig. Mooi opgemaakt met bloemen en heerlijk eten. Ik zou het zeker aanraden om hier te verblijven.
where do i start . 1st of all Darma who is the contact that looks after you from 1st contact booking to the very end was an absolte gemtleman and star.. We booked the private transfer with him picking us up from our hotel taking us to the tree house.. Once we arrived WoW .. Absolutely stunning it was our 25th Anniversary so i had the flowers in the plunge pool and also on the main bed..This was the start of a special stay in this wonderful house and location.. Exceptionally clean throughout and the team on site couldnt do any more for you.. We booked a massage which was lovely ,then arranged a delicious 3 course meal to be delivered and served whilst outside sitting in the terrace with all the sounds of nature around us. Overall the host and the tree house itself we could not fault and it definitely is what it advertised and more . Thank you Darma and team for this exceptional experience myself wife and daughter will cherish forever.🙏❤️

La terrasse est très agréable avec une vue magnifique dont on peut profiter depuis la piscine et à l'heure du petit déjeuner. L'endroit est très calme et paisible, il faut juste s'habituer au bruit nocturne des geckos qui vivent dans le coin. Le personnel à été très chaleureux et serviable avec nous tout au long de notre séjour. Nous recommandons les crêpes au petit déjeuner !

Wir wünschten noch zusätzliche Früchtebowls und sie überaschten und mit sehr leckeren lokalen Kreationen. Als wir am einen Tag auf den Mount Batur hikten, machten Sie uns am Vorabend extra feine Sandwiches zum mitnehmen. Sehr eine liebe Geste! Ach ja, und die Qualität der Betten war sehr gut! This was such a great spot! Honestly, we spent over a week in Bali in different hotels and this was our favorite spot! The serenity yet the quickness of service is great. The pool is a bit cold, yet deep enough to submerge your whole body. The window screen completely slides creating the seamless inside-outside experience. We originally had plans for the day but when we checked-in we decided to waive it all and just chill in the house the entire day until dinner. We ordered food from the local warung which arrived in a heartbeat. Also got massages for each of us and having it in the tranquil setting of our bedroom when the windows were wide open was one of a kind. You must try this spot and give yourself a good 3 hours at least of house chilling time between 4-7pm to catch the sunset. The only downside is not being able to flush toilet paper down the drain. Other than that, everything is great!
This villa is beautiful, the host is extremely accommodating and even gave us many options for activities to do in the area and coordinated the scheduling of the activities for us! We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely be back next time we come to Bali.
This was our first time to Bali and staying at Ana’s beautiful treehouse in Ubud was amazing. Darma and April were so helpful and friendly. The place was absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. We had Jero as our driver for the duration of our stay and he was fantastic, such a lovely person and took us to the most amazing places. I wanted to stay in a treehouse and I did just that! Cahaya is perfect for a solo traveler like myself. I didn’t want a big treehouse like some boast but, more than a primitive stay. This had everything and the staff are amazing! They were so flexible with my late arrival because my flight got cancelled and then delayed twice. I had a flower mandala set up in the pool and a massage. They catered to my unexpected late arrival and made everything seamless. The next morning I ordered breakfast in house and it didn’t disappoint! Beautifully appointed and the best massage I’ve had since staying in Bali. The property is gorgeous and really bringing the outside in. Maximum outdoor living, just what you expect from a treehouse without sacrificing cozy comforts! Grab even delivers food here! You have to book this place. It’s so lovely!
This place was beautiful and had the loveliest view! Our host was very accommodating and even made dinner reservations for us:) They found us an amazing driver (Kadek) that drove us around for the entirety of our stay and also acted as our tour guide for most places. If we ever come to Bali again, we’ll definitely stay here!!

Beautiful villa, they welcomed us with a welcome drink. Mandala flowers were soo beautiful, amazing floating breakfast both pretty and tasty. Good service, they could help with anything when asked.
This is a great place to stay. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and enjoyed our breakfast overlooking the rice fields and ducks. I would say the only downside was how far it is from town. We did however find a short cut walking.

We absolutely loved the treehouse. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Great location just outside of Ubud. We only used the main bedroom which was perfect for us. Easy enough to order food in or grab a Gojek scooter to a nearby restaurant. Would recommend staying here if you want peace & relaxation.
A very nice stay! The villa is lovely! However there is not much to do, the plunge pool is cold so you cannot stay for long it. Some sort of entertainment, like Netflix, would be a nice touch.

April was great she helped us out a lot, gave us a wee tour of the place and explained what was available, she sorted our scooters and massages for us and also we got breakfast delivered every morning which was beautiful. Ons verblijf in de Cahaya treehouse was fantastisch. We hebben daar twee nachten geslapen met ons gezin. De boomhut is in werkelijkheid groter als op de foto’s doet lijken. Verder zijn Darma en April enorm behulpzaam. Of het nu gaat om het regelen van leuke activiteiten binnens,- of buitenshuis of bijvoorbeeld het regelen van een scooter. Wij hebben een top verblijf gehad!

I had the best stay ever at Cahaya treehouse. I was there for two days with my two friends and the place was perfect. Exactly what it looked like in the pictures when booking and perfect start to our trip in Bali! The service was great and Darma, the co- host, was super reachable and responsive. They rented scooters for us throughout our stay and showed us how to use them to get around (honestly really recommend to get scooters to discover Ubud and only a few mins away from the center/Monkey Forest.) The floating breakfast was a beautiful plus and check in and check out were super easy. We were very sad to leave! After having left, I realized I had forgotten something valuable in the Airbnb and as soon as I contacted Darma, he called me and helped track down my belonging. Not only did he personally go to pick it up, but he shipped it internationally back to me which I’m super grateful for. Thank you so much to a super helpful team, for your kindness and your professionalism!

Manager dharma was there to greet us upon check-in with delicious drinks. The house is exactly as described the daily breakfasts are key as there’s no food or grocery shopping within walking distance. The area is beautiful. You must take a taxi or scooter into town. We do recommend going to the grocery store to get basics such as snacks, beverages. Bottled water is provided. The hosts a very responsive. Nengah was an absolute gem and I enjoyed talking to him daily. We did request a taxi driver, Jero Yaso, and used him daily while there. He took us to all of the sightseeing. All in all, a wonderful trip, and I would recommend the cahaya treehouse!

WOW! Diese Unterkunft ist unbeschreiblich schön. Der perfekte Ort um zu entspannen. Das Haus ist in einer ruhigen Umgebung, inmitten der Natur. In wenigen Fahrminuten ist man jedoch schnell im Zentrum von Ubud. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit, sehr freundlich und mit dem Check-In sowie Check-Out sehr flexibel! Das Frühstück wurde liebevoll angerichtet und war super lecker - sowie auch das Willkommensgetränk! Das Haus war sehr sauber und man hatte alles was man brauchte. Wunderschön fanden wir zudem auch das Schlafzimmer. Es war ein hervorragendes Erlebnis, morgens mit Blick in die Natur aufzuwachen. Nicht zu vergessen ist natürlich der Pool, welcher inmitten der Natur, mit Blick auf die Reisfelder, zum entspannen einlädt. Es war wirklich ein tolles Erlebnis, in eurem Haus zu übernachten. Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft und dass wir in diesem wunderschönen Haus übernachten durften!
Estancia muy agradable, anfitrión siempre accesible y atento en todo momento. Repetiría sin duda y lo recomiendo. Tener en cuenta, como en la gran mayoría de alojamientos en Bali, que el baño y cocina están abiertos al exterior y es muy común que haya insectos, lagartijas y demás.
Can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway this is the place to be. You have complete privacy in your villa while still having 360 views of the nature around you. Darma was very responsive and helpful. We got a wonderful massage, floating breakfast and flowers in the pool, all of which I recommend for the full experience. Will definitely be coming back

Darma, the property manager was super helpful and very kind. Whatever we needed to get done, he was there to help us. The property could be a little more well maintained, especially the bathroom, but nothing that we couldn’t stand. Well worth the price and the location is great, very close to central Ubud but far enough to be away from the noise. By far the best part was Darma, such a gem of a human!

Loved this place and would stay again. Very quiet (except for wildlife noises) but close enough to town and food. Only down fall is that walking to food is a bit unsafe due to busy road! Otherwise amazing place and nice staff. Breakfast is yummy.
Our stay was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The villa itself is so beautiful and well maintained. Having a private pool with an indoor/outdoor feel made it very special. The location is close to everything as we scootered around Ubud from our villa with ease. The staff are absolutely beautiful making sure we had everything and then some! They accommodated an earlier check in, arranged a scooter rental from our villa, arranged messages at the villa, provided a delicious floating breakfast and even held our bags for the day after check out. Highly recommend as the hospitality and space were incredible!

This was such a beautiful property! I really appreciated the unique woodwork and furniture pieces. We stayed for two nights and had an amazing breakfast served to us in the treehouse each morning at a time that was convenient for us. Our scooter that we requested to hire was waiting for us on arrival, which made getting around very easy - I wouldn’t recommend walking. The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival and departure, and were always around if needed. We were offered home cooked meals as an addition if we weren’t up for venturing out. We referred to the welcome/info book often, it was very informative, listing a number of need-to-knows regarding the property and surrounding area. Wifi was great. Drinking water was provided. Highly recommend!

Very cute place, with a good location. Higher price compared to other places we have stayed in ubud though. Great communication from Darma who was really friendly, helpful and accommodating so really good customer service. Pretty property, we only stayed one night as we are moving around bali. Would have stayed another if we had more time.
Absolutely beautiful, the pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s very clean, spacious, and the pool was perfect! Great location, only 5 minutes walk to the beach, and a few minutes walk to the main road where there are plenty of restaurants. There are local shops to buy drinks, food and any other necessities. Brenda the co host was great at sending me messages before we got there so we knew where to go, and also popped her head in to say hello and make sure we were settled and didn’t need any help. Would highly recommend and would love to go back again.
This place was so beautiful! I had prepared myself for a lot of bugs with the layout being so open, but other than a few small geckos it felt very clean and bug-free. The pool was beautiful and clean also. Darma, the manager, responded really quickly when we made requests for transport, meals etc. and was very kind. we had a massage in the room also which was really amazing and very reasonably priced. Overall a really great experience.
Place looks exactly like the photos, very comfortable and homey. The villa is very pretty and has a great view!

The place is exactly as shown in the pcitures. Living there is like living in a dream, specially for those who are not familiar with the tropical life. However, given the fact of the tropical environment, be prepared to experience insects inside the villa, but that is the case for almost every accommodation in Ubud! I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and mindful gataway!
What an amazing place! Such a beautiful home in a private location. Very clean, all staff were so lovely and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We will be back!

Amazing 2 nights in the Cahaya threehouse ! The place is amazing and cleanliness is perfect. Darma and his team were just top and so helpfull. We had the floatting breakfirst and the mandala and we highly recommend you to do the same.

Wunderschöne Lage, unweit vom Zentrum Ubud. Sehr ruhig, sauber, und unkompliziert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und tat alles um unseren Aufenthalt so gut wie möglich zu gestalten. Auch die Organisation für den Transfer vom Flughafen, von Unterkunft zur nächsten und auch das organisieren eines Moped Rollers waren kein Problem
My wife and I had a great stay at the villa on our honeymoon. The view is spectacular and the pictures don't do it justice. The villa is beautiful as well and while my wife and I didn't need to use the upstairs bedroom, felt like it would be perfect to wake up overlooking the rice paddies. We didn't find the bugs to be a huge nuisance though they were present throughout our stay. I loved the open air shower and was impressed by the number of outlets and level of detail throughout the villa. Darma and his team were incredibly friendly and thoughtful in bringing us breakfast each day. The villa is a little bit away from the main part of Ubud (10 minutes driving) so be prepared to rent a scooter, driver or Gojek to go in and see the sites. There are a few restaurants walking distance, but the walk is sketchy at night with no sidewalks so something to keep in mind.

An incredible stay. Darma, the host, was extremely accomodating. My friend and I happened to get Bali Belly (food poisoning) the day we arrived and Darma went above an beyond to look after us. He even went to the pharmacy to get us anti-nausea medication! The villa is beautiful. 5 stars. I would recommend this amazing place and this incredible host to anyone!!!

The staff were very friendly. One of the lady was very sweet and welcomed us to the villa. Communication was easy too using whatsapp and they responded so quickly. The view from villas is very amazing with padi field and little river beneath the villa. The room is very clean and tidy. The location is perfect away from noise. The staff cleaned our room when we are away and replaced dirty towels. They provided us with delicious breakfast included with fresh fruit.
The staff welcomed us with an open heart and helped us with all our wishes. The space is beautiful! And I’d definitely come back. 💜

Beautiful villa with incredible view! Great location close enough to the city for a quick scooter ride, but also close to nature. Host was always quick to respond. Highly recommend if you don’t mind the geckos and frogs singing you to sleep!

Being from the United States we had no idea really what to expect. We we're blown away from start to finish. The villa is beautiful. The restaurant you can order from is super delicious. Dharma, the host is very accommodating. There was a motorbike ready for us when we arrived and he introduced us to the best driver on the island, Kabel. We ended up using Kabels services for the entire trip. Kabel was even so kind to take us to Selat and Canggu all the while planning a fun filled day of all the sites to see.
The treehouse is a beautiful stay! It feels like a dream when you walk in to see the views above the jungle. The lounge and bedrooms are very comfortable, and it is very peaceful and relaxing to be surrounded by nature. It is a short scooter ride to some great restaurants - we personally loved Tropical Ants. Darma greeted us upon arrival and was a very welcoming host. Thank you for our stay!

This treehouse is absolutely delightful - immersed in the rainforest with sounds of the running creek and views of the rice fields, gorgeous wooden / sandstone colour interiors, sparkling clean, air conditioned, wonderful service and communication. We enjoyed the floating breakfast each day, an in villa massage, scooter hire and the recommended cooking class. Everything was wonderful - 10/10 would recommend.
This place is really lovely and picturesque. A very unique and cool stay in Ubud that’s off the beaten path. Location is very good and easy to get to town on scooter or gojek. Check in was super easy and the staff were so so nice and friendly. The owners gave us some helpful tips as well about driving in town and updates post Covid. The only two down points I would say are the bugs - however we are in the jungle / right off a rice paddy so it is to be expected. There was the largest hornet I have ever seen in my life stuck in the attic bedroom so we were too scared to even open the door and utilize that bedroom! I didn’t mind the ants as they were on the ground where you’d expect and you just have to be careful with food and things - very common sense though and didn’t bother me. I think this is a great place for couples or friends who want to do something different. I do feel the price for what it is is slightly too high, as it is smaller than pictured and not a lot of lounge room space. However it was still a great stay and experience! Would come again.

We LOVED our stay at Cahaya Treehouse! The villa is open, light and airy and beautifully decorated. Every little detail seemed to have been thought of and our stay was so comfortable and rejuvenating. The manager, Darma, was very responsive over WhatsApp for any questions we had and kindly helped us organize drivers when we needed to travel. All of the staff at the villa were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home! We especially loved the private patio with plunge pool and spent most of our time there, taking in the sights and sounds of nature. The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed to prepare small meals and snacks, but we mostly ordered from Mandi’s Warung (they deliver right to the villa) if we didn’t want to go out for food. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle and experiencing the wildlife (birds and butterflies in the trees and little geckos that came to visit on our patio). The treehouse is quite open to the outdoors (which is part of its appeal!) and so of course some insects are to be expected. Bug spray was provided in the villa, but we didn’t find the insects to be a problem at all. We wish we could have stayed here even longer. Cahaya treehouse is a little slice of heaven. Thank you Darma and all the staff for making our stay so comfortable and memorable!

The villas here are secluded with a jungle view it’s definitely a great destination for some peace and quite the location is a bit confusing so it’s a good idea to get transport from the Villa itself that way you have no problems. All in all such a surreal experience.

The treehouse is really beautiful and clean/neat. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and the view is amazing! Super friendly staff and good communication. The only comment is you should rent a scooter as the treehouse is a bit further from the center. And you shouldn’t be afraid of a bit of gekko’s as they will be in the treehouse. But the bed is really good and has a mosquito net, so you won’t be bothered by any insect or gekko. I would definitely recommend this place when you stay in Ubud.
Thanks for a beautiful and relaxing stay in this exceptional treehouse! It is surrounded by nature and there is even a river right under the treehouse and the sound of the water is so peaceful especially at night. The furniture and material used are very well thought and Balinese style with rattan and bamboo. It is located just a few mn from the center by car. Darma the host was so helpful in getting us a driver and guide for our tours and gave us some reco for restaurants. Had an amazing time there! Exceptional stay in Ubud!

The tree house is magic. Incredible clean and very attentive staff. Darma was lovely. From massage to good coffee almost everything is possible. the styling plus all design details are very enviable. Location easy to find. And surrounded by stunning nature. Will be back!
