Jogloview Sanur

Exploring Jogloview Sanur left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Jogloview Sanur was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Sanur plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Jogloview Sanur painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

발리 세곳의 숙소 중 기대가 제일 컸는데 비용도 가장 비싸게 지불했는데 가장 불만족스러움 먼저 숙소 사진들이 에어비엔비를 시작할당시 사진인거 같은데 현재의 사진으로 업데이트 필요하고 숙소 컨셉이 빈티지인진 모르겠지만 한국인의 시선엔 전체적인 리뉴얼이 필요해보임 사진만보고 선택했는데 결과가 안좋음 추천하지않음

Hosts and daily lady Mrs Puti were lovely

Location: close to habour. Not the best location in the Sanur. The best part of the beach and the main street with shopping and restaurants are too far away. We would stay further south nemt time. House: ok, but not child friendly, because of stairs, low fence and very cold pool. Needed maintaining and the housekeeper seemed tired of us being there. Also we didnt know when she was coming or leaving, so we didnt feel the privacy that we had other places in Bali.

We enjoyed our stay at Jogloview Villa for 3 nights... the people were absolutely lovely and the villa is so well-equipped and in walking distance to a large grocery store, the beach and heaps of cafes on the esplanade. We cycled the waterfront (25000IDR for an hour per bike). The 3 bedrooms (1 upstairs, 2 downstairs) are all quite separate so mightn't work for younger kids (I ended up sleeping in 1 room with my daughter who didn't want to be so far away from us) but for older kids or adults, it's perfect! The pool is surprisingly warm even though it's mostly in the shade, Putuh's breakfasts were wonderful (and her cheery personality was delightful to wake up to)! The beds were comfy and clean and there's everything you could possibly need to keep entertained (my kids loved the pool table and would have played all the games and puzzles if we'd been there longer)! Thanks for having us :)

Amazing hosts , property in the local area of sanur short walk to food and beach , Awsome to hire bike to head down to the south end .... putu was amazing great breakfasts daily such a great hostess xx only main issue that I didn't love was it is very close to the adjoining home that shares the same property so we were paranoid about having music playing or making noise thought property was going to be more private ..

Grandes chambres, villa jolie, présente quelques signes de son âge . Le petit déjeuner était appréciable, préparé par Patou très gentille, même si nos enfants auraient préféré avoir le choix d’un chocolat chaud . Dans l’ensemble c’était très agréable d’être servi le matin. Un grand merci aussi à Patou de nous avoir aidé avec la laverie. Point négatif de la villa c’est son manque d’intimité , la cuisine est exposée à pas mal de passages et parfois il est difficile de se sentir comme chez soi. Nous n’avons pas profité de la piscine de la villa car étant beaucoup ombragée l’eau est assez fraîche , et comme elle est sous les arbres, souvent les feuilles dedans, et le carrelage est un peu abimé donc nous avons préféré la petite piscine pour nous rafraîchir. Globalement pour un prix similaire il est possible de trouver un hôtel avec grande piscine au bord de la plage.

The place was perfect for us. 3 large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Staff were very friendly and breakfasts were good. Place could do with some TLC though.

This was a great place for our family of 4. There were rooms for everyone with good a/c, comfortable beds, and ensuites. The pool was refreshing! The villa is just a short walk from the beach and there are several restaurants nearby. The owners helped us with motorbike rentals which made exploring the area and going out for meals very easy. The villa is showing its age a little so don’t expect new and fancy. Overall it was an excellent stay. We would go back again.

Total outdoor living! 2 spacious bedrooms (with delightful A/C) on the ground floor each with their own en-suite bathrooms. Kitchen and living area are outdoors right beside a beautiful swimming pool. Putu, the hostess, made us breakfast each morning and was very lovely and friendly. Easy walk to the ocean, as well as supermarkets and restaurants. Close to the new Icon Bali Mall. Quick stay so we did not use the cooking facilities but it is well stocked.

Putu (de hulp)is super lief en maakt een lekker ontbijt . Ook helpt ze je met alles. Het is een typische balieense villa , dus verwacht geen strakke inrichting. De villa is wat ouder , maar goed schoon en ligt centraal . Ook hele fijne locatie als je nog naar de nsa eilanden wil. Prijs / kwaliteit is prima . Rustig gelegen maar overal dichtbij!!

Heel mooi verblijf met drie ruime slaapkamers met aansluitend een badkamer. Op de advertentie staat vermeld dat er een wiegje aanwezig is, dit was een van de redenen waarom we deze accommodatie hadden gekozen. Helaas was het wiegje een ledikant, dat in de buitenkeuken stond en niet heel schoon was. Ook wisten we niet dat alle slaapkamers redelijk ver van elkaar vandaan waren, waardoor wij ons zoontje van 2,5 jaar niet in een andere kamer konden laten slapen. Gelukkig kon hij gebruikmaken van het matrasje uit het ledikantje en hadden we voor onze drie maanden oude baby een slaaptentje mee. We sliepen dus met zn allen in een kamer. Dit was wel even een domper toen we aankwamen. Ook zouden er een babystoel en peuterstoel voor in de transfer geregeld worden, maar dat was niet zo. We moesten rijden met de baby op schoot en de peuter tussen ons in. Maar.. als je niet met 2 jonge kinderen bent is dit echt een fijne locatie. Erg mooi, authentiek, heel goede service met elke ochtend ontbijt!

As others have noted the Villa could do with a refresh and privacy can be lacking at times. Having said that the hosts Peter and Helly are very welcoming and accomodating. The location of the Villa is ideal because of its proximity to the beach, harbour and restaurants. Putu the housekeeper elevated the stay as well with her infectious personality and wonderful breakfasts. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Schöne Unterkunft um Sanur zu erkunden und fussläufig zum Hafen für weitere Ausflügsmöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag etwas anderes und wurde von der Uhrzeit unserem Tagesplan sehr entgegenkommend angepasst. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, leider fehlt in einem Zimmer ein Mückennetz. Gestört hat es nicht, wir hatten wenig Insekten. Negativ war nur, dass die Unterkunft nicht mehr in einem frischen Zustand ist. Im Pool fehlten ein paar Fliesen und hier und da, sah man das mal ein neuer Anstrich notwendig ist. Wissen sollte man, dass die Hausangestellte auf dem Grundstück in einem separat Haus wohnt. Für uns war dies nie störend, da morgen immer prompt Hilfe angeboten wurde, ansonsten war niemand zusehen, außer man hat Hilfe benötigt.

The location is great. Walking distance to the beach and harbour. Good food in the vicinity. Owners are Super nice and accommodating! They even have a helper who would come each morning to make breakfast and clean up the place! It’s like Airbnb with butler service!

Agréable maison à vivre avec la discrète Putu qui prépare d excellent petit déjeuner . Maison un peu excentrer du site touristique . Mais idéal pour départ à nusa penida .

We had a nice relaxing stay. The villa is away from majority of restaurants so a good 10-15 minute walk to those and any shopping excursions. Amazingly quiet from being so close to bypass. Quite unique with original features of Bali. if mosquitoes are an issue- We used sarongs rolled up as ‘door snakes’ and kept bathroom windows closed. To keep at bay. A few maintenance issues but I am sure will be fixed.

Thankyou to Helly, Peter & Putu for our lovely stay at beautiful Sanur....... -The villa is perfect for 2 to 3 couples, Putu does an amazing breakfast (and kindly catered to 1 of us needing a gluten free diet). She is at the house most days (meaning the property is not left unattended while you are out & about), and quietly/discreetly keeps the whole place beautiful. -Beds are clean and comfortable and everything is provided for a home away from home. Blue tooth speaker, tv with kids movies, pool towels, plenty of crockery/glasses/cutlery etc....if you want to cook!! Hair dryer in 1 of the bedrooms. -The pool is shaded, so In the cooler months you may not spend much time around the pool. Still ok for a swiim.... I am sure you will love the shade in the hotter months. -You walk out of the alley every day to alot of people wanting you to buy/use their wares.... but if you are friendly/respectful when saying no (choose/decide on the 1 driver) they eventually remember you and stop asking you! Only to say hello.. -150,000 rupiah is charge from airport to Helly & Peter's villa. (you may pay a little more for easy convenience.... especially when arriving) *Watch out for someone grabbing your cases (to help) and then asking you for a tip?!!!! -Trip from Helly & Peter's Villa to Artotel (central on main street, lots of resetaraunts) 20,000 rupiah.. .. you may want to add a tip if you have someone who is a regular driver. -Artotel (beach resort, walk along beach 20mins or get taxi) .. If you spend 500,000 rupiah on food/drink you can swim/hold a beach lounge for the day... book it early.....towel included.

Great place for families or 3 couples. A stylish yet comfortable space close to the action but where you and yours can be a world away if you want to be. Generous yummy breakfasts and lovely house keeper. Quick helpful reponces to from hosts.

Great place, close walk to Sanur beach. Grocery store just around the corner. Putu was very good, she made breakfast every morning and kept the place clean etc.

Was a great stay! Our one-year-old Kali loved the pool and we were able to relax. Putu was present but not intrusive and Helly and Peter were fantastic with their communication. A great location a short walk to the beach. We’ll probably stay there again! :-)

Thank you for our stay. Putu was very welcoming and made a delicious breakfast. The bread was great. The pool was lovely although a little difficult to access for my mother - another step in would be good. The rooftop was very nice for evening drinks. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed. Cheers.

Nice place off the busy main road so was very quiet and peaceful. Near to beach and main road between Ubud and Seminyak so good for getting around and close to Sanur Beach. Great breakfasts and comfortable beds.

This place really is gorgeous. Our girls loved swimming in the private pool every day, right under the mango tree! Beds are comfortable and beautifully clean. The location is great, so quiet and relaxed - perfect place for our first stay in Indonesia. Everything is clean and tidy, although a few issues with the hot water in our room. Putu kept everything very clean and even hung out our washing. Breakfast everyday was incredible, and Putu really tailored it to our tastes as she saw what we liked. Unfortunately the communication wasn't great on our stay, but overall it was a lovely place to stay.

Everything regarding this villa described clearly in the website. Love everything in villa and suitable for family. because of old doors for bedrooms so making noise, need to be fix. Thanks Ms Putu, making us very good breakfast.

Helly's place is a great place to stay. It's private and off the main road, and very comfortable. She is very accommodating and Ms Putu kept us well fed in the morning and everything was always clean when we got home.

Peter greeted us upon arrival and even walked us down the back alleys to the beach. He had wonderful suggestions for everything, including a local dive shop. I stayed an entire month and loved every moment. The housekeeper, Putu, was amazing and very helpful. When there was an issue with the Wifi, she knew who to call to find out that is was the entire neighborhood, and it was back up within a couple hours. If you are looking at places to stay, I highly recommend staying with Peter and Helley.

Incredible value for money. Wonderful hosts. Putu is amazing. No notes! Would recommend in a heartbeat.

We had a great time at Helly and Peter’s place. It is well positioned within easy walking distance to the new cafes on the Sanur boardwalk as well as the more established ones on Sindhi beach. Putu was delightful and kept the place clean and prepared delicious breakfasts. She loved our little grandaughter and was great at getting a smile out of her even when she was grumbly! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Het verblijf bij Helly en Peter was heerlijk. Het is een ruime woning, met poolbiljard, op loopafstand van strand en moderne restaurantjes. Putu, de huishoudster, maakt heerlijke sapjes en ontbijt.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Joglo View, and we would happily visit again. We loved the quiet, peaceful atmosphere, the attractive and private pool, the location (only a short stroll from the beachfront promenade), and the games room / billiards table on the balcony. Helly and Peter were awesome hosts and went the extra mile to make our stay special, with personalised recommendations and local connections, and showing us inside their own stunning home. We also really enjoyed the daily breakfasts and fresh clean rooms courtesy of friendly and helpful villa housekeeper Ms Putu. We highly recommend this villa for your own Bali holiday :)

We loved our stay with Helly and Peter. As soon as we booked our stay communication was immediate and friendly. Peter greeted us when we arrived and made check in and arrival at the accomodation very easy. We loved the place. Having our own pool was a favorite for the kids and even ended up making friends with some other children that lived local. The location was ideal too. Down a quiet street but less than 5 mins walks to as many restaurants as you could wish for catering for all requirements. There is also a supermarket 2 mins away and so close to the beach. Breakfast every morning was always fresh and tasty made by Putu. She was such a friendly presence and the kids really liked having her near by. Peter and Helly were always close and responsive if we needed anything. If we are ever back in sanur we would stay here again for sure!

I spent 2 weeks at Peter & Helly’s place & there are not enough words to describe how fabulous our experience was. We had a group of 4 (my daughter & 2 of my girlfriends) & we all agree this was the perfect place for us. Putu is a special ray of light & took excellent care of us & fulfilled all our needs. The rest of the staff were amazing as well. From the time we arrived in Bali, we felt safe & taken care of. Due to a passport issue with one member of our group, we were delayed at the airport an extra hour & Peter waited patiently for us & even showed us around the area prior to getting us to our rooms. It was very late when we arrived & Helly was there to meet us with welcoming warmth & snacks. The home is in a walkable location to the beach, restaurants, spas & anything else you might need. This was the trip of a lifetime & I can’t wait until I can stay with these hosts again. You can’t go wrong with Peter, Helly & Putu!Gratitude Galore!🥰🙌 ✌️

super séjour chez Helly & Peter. nous y avons séjourné avec notre fille son mari et notre petit fils de quatre ans , nous avions chacun notre chambre et salle de bain, le petit a bien profité de la piscine, la cuisine est bien équipée mais tout est à proximité , nombreux restaurants sur la promenade en bord de mer qui se trouve à quelques minutes à pied de la maison ainsi que la plage, l emplacement vraiment idéal et au calme Helly et Peter sont très réactif et arrangeant, ils nous ont mis à disposition une autre maison car nous avions un départ tardif, notre famille a apprécié le geste La cerise sur le gâteau c est la présence de poutou qui était la tout les jours pour nous préparer de délicieux petits déjeuner et faire les chambres, son sourire et sa gentillesse ont illuminé tout nos matins il y aurait encore beaucoup à écrire mais si vous voulez un logement à proximité de tout ( plage, restos, commerces, taxis etc sans la foule de touristes alors c est chez Helly et Peter

We had a great short stay. Location was awesome being a short walk to the harbour/beach. Plenty of good places to eat nearby. Kids love the pool and the pool table area. Breakfast in the mornings was delicious. The hosts went out of their way to accommodate our request which was most appreciated. Definitely would stay again.

Helly and Peter Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful place. The beds were extremely comfy and very big! Bedrooms are spacious and well equipped. The pool was really appreciated to cool down and conveniently shaded by a beautiful trees. We enjoyed watching the squirrels from the pool. Kitchen is well equipped and breakfast prepared by Putu was well appreciated. The last day she prepared a nice Indonesian breakfast and let us watch how to do it. It is easy to walk from the villa to the beach and you could rent bicycle around the corner. We had a fantastic time and thank you for the late check out! Hopefully we will come again!

Peter était très gentil et réactif. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la personne du petit déjeuner qui était très gentille et avons beaucoup utilisé le billard qui était vraiment top, et en plus avec la piscine fraîche, le bonheur. L'endroit est paisible, ce fut les nuits les plus calmes de notre séjour

What can I say? Peter made this trip to Bali for our family seamless. This was the second time we have been and we chose this location to be near the Sanur Harbor. Peter gave us lots of food recommendations and was so friendly and enjoyable to talk to. Putu made some of the best meals for breakfast! The place was wonderful and 10/10 would (and will!) be recommending to my friends

We were just ending our Bali trip and spent the last couple of nights at Helle and Peter's place instead of a generic hotel. Though we did not end up spending much time at their place, the time spent was relaxing and peaceful. Very nice place..huge master bedroom. Open space kitchen and pool area. And Peter went above and beyond getting up at 4:30am to bring us to airport on our last morning :-) Very recommended if you're coming to Sanur.

Peter, Helly... and Putu...what an amazing trio. Can't fault them, so laid back and lovely. We didn't want for anything. For our first time in Bali we hit the jackpot/Gold!...would highly recommend.

Helly and Peter - thank you for providing a wonderful, private and sooooo so comfortable oasis for our stay in Sanur. Ms Putu was an absolute ray of sunshine - she looked after us so well - breakfast was fabulous and we also enjoyed the incidental language and botany lessons. She is a real gem!

We had a two night initiation to Bali at Peter and Hellys. Such a great setup with 3 rooms and kitchen dining etc all by the pool. Very well looked after by staff member Putu. If Peter invites you to hash house harriers...do it! We walked a 6km run at Ubud...way off the beaten track and through villages jungle and rice paddys...just unreal! Thank you again Peter Helly and Putu it was the best stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Sanur. The location is perfect—convenient yet peaceful. The house was impeccably clean and well maintained and the outdoor pool is truly stunning, perfect for relaxing at any time of day. Helly was an exceptional host: warm, responsive and genuinely attentive to every detail. Putu was equally kind and always available with a smile whenever we needed assistance. We absolutely recommend this property and would love to return in the future!

loved the building, a newish build with traditional features like doors and tiles. proximity to Helly & Peter's joglo was no problem at all

Super séjour chez helly et Peter. heĺly était occupée nous l'avons vu a la toute fin. Mais Peter a été très prévenant tout au long du séjour. Putru la house keeper est adorable, elle fait des petits déjeuner extraordinaire , sa joie de vivre et son sourire sont communicatif. Enfin, elle s'assure que les invités soient toujours à l'aise et relaxé. Je recommande a 100%.

Our little family of 3 had such a great stay at Jogloview Villa. The location is ideal as being peacefully quiet, yet within sort walking distances to Sanur Harbour, Boardwalk restaurants and Beaches. Should mention that this area of Sanur is where the locals live and provides a different experience to the resorts, where everyone felt friendly (and less tourists around ;)). Peter was super helpful and the lovely always smiling Putu really took care of us (was a real surprise). Thank you Putu, Helly and Peter for such a memorable vacation, we will be back! and take care... P.S. The pool was sublime for an early morning wakeup swim, a dip after a day of travelling or just lounge/swim around all day :) plus the natural gardens/greenery with the Joglo house providing a Balinese charm, created a relaxed atmosphere. P.S.S. A must see is the haunted abandoned amusement park a few kms north on the coastline. Can hire bicycles to ride there along the pretty coastal walk.

We are a family of two adults and three kids, we very much enjoy our stay at Hely & Peter’s. We were so well looked after, breakfast every morning was a huge bonus as we didn’t need to leave and find somewhere plus it was delicious. We enjoyed playing pool & swimming in the lovely swimming pool. The rooms are huge and loved having a bathroom in each room. The aircon worked really well so we were comfortable at night sleeping. We enjoyed our stay.

Helly and Peter’s place is great, and they are great hosts. Peter was very helpful. The pool is awesome. Putu Cooke breakfast for us everyday, and also kept the place very clean. There is a big tree shading it so no sunburn for us white skinned people!

We really enjoyed our two-night stay at Helly and Peter’s place in Sanur. Peter is a terrific host, communicative and accommodating, and the house is well located within walking distance of harbour and beach restaurants. The spacious house is open-plan with other residences surrounding, so it felt a little more home-stay than private villa, however the three bedrooms are private, inviting and well air-conditioned. The living spaces are well-equipped and the upstairs pool table is great for socialising. We didn’t use the pool but it looks clean and well cared for. Putu is lovely and provides a delicious home-cooked breakfast with a smile. Overall, a great place to stay in Sanur with excellent hospitality.

We felt immediately at home. You can ask Peter everything and Putu is there to take of you in the villa and she makes great breakfast and is super sweet. The villa has 3 beautiful rooms with bathrooms. Everything is very clean. We loved the pool and used it a lot! The location of the villa is perfect and the beach is really near. On the beach in Sanur you find a lot of very nice restaurants with all sort of food. We really loved staying at Jogloview Villa and we already miss it. Thank you Peter and Putu!

The property was exactly as pictured. The hosts were friendly providing advice on the area. Putu made us breakfast every morning when we were ready, as well as getting us extras from the shop when we asked. She made our stay amazing, organising in room massages for us. She was always smiling and ever so helpful

We loved our stay at Peter & Hellys and wishes we could stay longer! The kids loved the pool, Ms Putu the housekeeper was lovely and breakfast yummy. We really enjoyed the short walk to the beach side and restaurants but also felt nice, quiet and peaceful. The shaded pool area was a welcome cooler spot too 😊 If only we could stay longer!

Vi havde et rigtig dejligt ophold. Det har en rigtig god beliggenhed. Putu var en solstråle og meget imødekommende overfor vores børn. Vi oplevede, at Peter og Helly var meget hjælpsomme og hurtige til at svare på vores evt spørgsmål. Vi vil anbefale stedet til andre.

We had such a wonderful stay here. Every morning we had a lovely breakfast cooked by Putu, and the whole space just made us feel relaxed and joyful. We were able to run a small training program in the main area with 8 participants and they all loved being in a real home with the Bali vibe (and pool). 100% recommend this over one of the nearby hotels.

Schöne Unterkunft mit Pool in toller Lage. Wir haben ein paar schöne Tage in dem Haus verbracht und Putu hat uns jeden Morgen mit einem tollen Frühstück verwöhnt. Die Unterkunft war sauber und die Lage ist toll.

we loved our stay at Joglo View Putu was lovely and cooked us a beautiful breakfast each morning. Lots of space, with three seperate bedrooms with large beds and soerate bathroom. Our kids loved the pool table as well. Location is ideal with a short walk to the promonade but still in a quiet area

Die Zeit bei Helly und Peter war unbeschreiblich schön! Leider viel zu kurz. In Gastfreundschaft sind die beiden nicht zu übertreffen! Wir freuen uns sehr wenn wir uns wieder sehen.

We had a lovely few days here. Peter was super helpful, giving us directions and helping with luggage. We arrived early but could drop off our bags and get some lunch. Ms Patu was so friendly, helpful and great with our kids!

We had a wonderful stay at Jogloview! The location is ideal – peaceful and quiet, yet just a 5-minute walk to the beach and the Sanur promenade with all its great bars and restaurants. We were busy during the day diving, so it was such a treat to come back to this tranquil spot and get a great night’s sleep in a comfy bed. Helly and Peter were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome, but the real gem of this Airbnb is Ms Putu. She took care of us like we were her own family and prepared the most delicious Indonesian breakfasts – her Nasi Goreng was absolutely perfect, especially before a full day of scuba diving! A huge thank you and big hugs to Ms Putu – you made our stay truly special. We hope to be back soon! 🌺

We loved our stay of 11nights at Helly and Peter's place. It was us and our two children, 6 and 8. The location is perfect and we cannot fault the northern part of Sanur - just brilliant. Cafes etc. within walking distance and bikes to easy to rent to enjoy the 'promenade'. I think this is quite normal for Balinese homes, that the bedrooms open to the outdoors and although we felt very safe and comfortable here, i wish we had brought speakers as we ended up sleeping with the kids each night. Important to note, it isnt the most private, with windows looking out on to the pool and living area (with net curtains). However, this didnt bother us after the initial getting used to and that wouldnt put us off staying again. The kids loved the 2 pool options and most importantly, they loved Putu - we all did! Wonderful breakfasts and a friendly face, we enjoyed her company. Definitely recommend booking.

La villa est très bien situé, quelques minutes à pied de la plage et des très bons restaurants. Piscine très agréable à l'ombre. La villa est très propre avec 3 chambres, lit très confortable (par contre pas de lit bébé mais lit très grand). Helly & Peter sont très gentilsy répondent très vite et accueillants. Et un grand merci à Ms. Putu qui prépare des très bons petit-dèjeuner varié et elle est très gentille mais reste discrète.

We had a great stay! Putu was so welcoming and accomodating and Peter came and said hello, which was nice. Putu cooked pancakes and French toast while we were there for breakfast which was well received by us and our 8 year old son. Location was good - we were able to walk down to the famous Warung Mak Beng. Highly recommend trying! Thanks for a great stay.

Helly and Peter were excellent hosts with a beautiful villa. Some friends and I came over from Nusa Lembongan and stayed for Nyepi weekend, we had the best time. 5 minutes from the port, 5 minutes from the main road and parade route, very comfortable stay with everything we needed on Nyepi. Peter has a small cafe/coffee shop just around the corner and we enjoyed coffee and drinks with him and his wife. They checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t recommend this stay enough.

We (parents and boys 17 & 12) loved Peter’s place. There are 3 bedrooms (2 on ground floor and one up) each with their own washroom/shower and queen bed. 2 of the bedrooms have an additional couch/day bed in the room. We loved the open concept of the place, huge outdoor kitchen/living by the pool. Yes, there is a separate unit on the property where a family lives but they never came on our side of things. Lastly but most important - the breakfast and friendly nature of Putu was the highlight of the place. If you want an authentic stay in a balinese house this is the place. Nothing fancy but clean, real and friendly in a local community.

Vi havde et rigtig godt ophold, og vores børn elskede det.! Søde værter og frk. Putu var fantastisk - et varmt og rart menneske. Stedet fremstår ikke nyt, men kan du leve med det, vil du få en dejlig oplevelse. Ydermere skal du være klar på, at der er ansatte og ejer til stede i huset ved siden af poolen. Men de lister stille rundt og er utrolig søde og venlige alle sammen. Så vælg ikke stedet hvis du vil have et helt nyt og privat sted, men hvis du vil have sjæl, charme, to pools, søde mennesker og en sød kattekilling. Bedste anbefalinger 🙏🏼

Helly was very responsive and accomodating. There is a housekeeper who lives on the location but they have their own quarters, and are very nice and helpful. Location is convenient and price was good.

Die Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert. Drei Doppelzimmer und viel Platz für alle. Der Standort ist optimal, paar Gehminuten zum Hafen und gleiche Entfernung zum ersten von sehr vielen Sandstränden. Das schönste war aber der nette Kontakt zu Peter und Helly und auch zu Puttu, die sich auch um das Frühstück und sonstige Dinge kümmert. Alles gut!

We stayed at Jogloview Villa Sanur from 21st December to 2nd January & pretty much enjoyed during our stay here. Starting from the price, very affordable for us, especially we stayed for more or less 12 nights. Location wise, very near to the centre of Sanur, you can reach Sanur beach by walking, only 1,5 km to Icon Mall Bali, and also safe neighbourhood. Regarding to the room, by renting this villa, we got 3 bedroom and kitchen for ourselves. The room we stayed was great, the bed itself very comfy, AC working very well, we also got Mbak Putu who always provide us with breakfast every morning and helping to clean the room almost everyday during our stay. Yes, there was some hiccup along the way, but luckily, the owner bu Helly and Peter were very helpful with our needs, They always gave us a very fast solution and always end up with good result at the end of the day. Overall we really were enjoy staying in Jogloview Villa Sanur.

Cute place with three cozy rooms each with its own bathroom. The house is on a quiet street but still walking distance from the beach. Helly & Peter were very welcoming and we had a lovely time.

Generally we had a good stay, but a few things to note that we wish we had of known before booking. 1. The property is shared with another residence opposite the kitchen dining area, across the pool. They keep to themselves but we were hoping for privacy for swimming. People were coming and going throughout the day & evening so we felt a bit exposed. 2. Mosquitoes, probably seasonal. They were bad. Putu was spraying the rooms each morning to hold them at bay, and we were burning mozzie coils in the kitchen & dining but there were so many. Again we wouldn't have stayed with kids knowing this. 3. The pool is run down & missing tiles, there are sharp edges on the bottom of the pool that a few of us got scratches from. It really needs some attention. The whole villa really is a bit tired & could do with some maintenance. On the upside, the rooms are good size, Putu is lovely and made nice breakfasts for us. She really improved our experience there.

Menginap di tempatnya Helly&Peter sangat enak dan nyaman. Host yang sangat responsive dan membantu serta flexible untuk pengaturan check in maupun check out. Lokasi pun dekat kemana-mana bisa jalan ke pantai ataupun ke beberapa resto dekat bypass! Makanan pagi tersedia dan enak serta stok roti dll selalu ada.

Nous avons passé 4 semaines dans la villa de Helly & Peter. Superbe accueil de la part d'Helly. La villa correspond en tous points au descriptif. 3 belles chambres dont une très grande avec une très bonne literie. La piscine fait 8 mètres de long ce qui permet de pouvoir nager sans problème avec une eau à 27 degrés (très appréciable pour se rafraîchir). Le gros plus de l'accueil est la présence quotidienne de Putu qui nous a préparé tous les matins un superbe petit déjeuné Balinais avec des fruits frais de saisons. Putu a été au top tout au long de notre séjour. La villa est idéalement situé a 5 min du bord de mer pour profiter de la longue promenade aménagée sur la plage de Sanur (+ de 4km de long) où se trouve de nombreux warungs, bars... Si vous avez besoin d'un taxi vous pouvez en trouver tout de suite en sortant de la Villa (600K IDR) pour avoir votre chauffeur toute la journée. A 1,4 km de la villa se trouve un super marché (Grand Lucky) où l'on trouve tout !!

Très bon séjour chez Peter & Jelly ! Les chambres étaient propres et conforables. La piscine agréable. Putu est parfaite et adorable ! Les petits déjeuner étaient bien. Les sanitaires auraient juste besoin d'un petit coup de neuf. L'emplacement est idéal pour se rendre sur la plage. Je recommande :)

This villa is gorgeous and was a wonderful place to relax in Sanur. The three bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed with character. We loved the pool and having a pool table. It was an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the northern Sanur beach, where more locals enjoy the beach. South Sanur was reachable by Grab for more touristy amenities. Putu is a wonderful housekeeper who made amazing breakfasts and kept the place spotless. Peter and Helly live next door and made sure we were enjoying our stay. The layout of the property was such that each bedroom was separate, so with young children it was unusual for us to be so far away from their rooms overnight, but the neighborhood is safe and it was fine. Being part of the family compound was a new experience for us, but we got used to seeing family members come and go. We really enjoyed our time here!

We had a lovely stay here! The home is big, private, and has a great pool — and Helly and Peter are warm, available, proactive hosts. We felt very well cared for, with good restaurants and a lovely beach a short walk away.

Peter, in particular, was extremely helpful and kind and walked us all the way to the port. He even stayed with my daughter until she was able to obtain our tickets. Putu, the house keeper, stole the show. Her breakfasts are delicious! And she is the queen of hospitality.

Right from arrival to departure Helly & Peter have been a massive part of our memorable Bali experience. Peter offered to pick us up from the airport allowing us to not worry about finding the location and check in smoothly. The house was a fantastic 2 story open concept living space which is exactly what I was looking for giving us a Balinese living experience for my family of 6. The rooms were clean and the AC unit kept the room nice and cool. We all enjoyed the private shaded pool & pool table upstairs! The entire compound is beautiful and we felt completely safe. Every morning the housekeeper Putu had breakfast laid out for us. Fresh cut fruit, coffee and fresh juice with a healthy warm breakfast prepared daily. (we chose to have Balinese breakfast daily) The location is very convenient & central. The beach, shops & convenient stores just a walk away. Btw they offer laundry service. Helly & Peter are both lovely. By the end of our 10 day trip they felt like family!

Peter & Shelly are fantastic hosts. They went above and beyond to assist our family of 4. Patu came daily to clean and makes beds. Cooked us breakfast with fresh fruits, toast, hot drinks, fresh home made juice and a hot breakfast. Peter offered us a ride to airport and showed us around locally. They own a cafe next door which is so easy to duck to and grab coffee. Close to many eateries and on the beach, close to port to head over on fast boat to Lembongan. Highly recommend!!!

super Rbnb! un vrai! Notre logement est séparé mais quand même dans leur logement. on se sent directement en famille. Peter est extrêmement gentil et bienveillant. Il m a aidé dans de nombreuses démarches. Le petit déjeuner est très sympa car confectionné par leur employée selon nos envies. je recommande vivement cet endroit car au calm mais proche de tout.

Die Unterkunft war unvergesslich, uns fehlte es an nichts. Ein super schönes Haus, der Pool. Wir wurden von der lieben Putu umsorgt und bekocht, es fehlte an nichts. Besonderen Dank an Peter für die Restaurantempfehlungen und lieben Kontakt, und natürlich fürs Hinbringen zum Flughafen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden Helly & Peter auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und wiederkommen.

Excellent time at Joglo view. We have 3 kids who are 11, 8 and 3 and they couldnt do enough for us to make sure everybody was happy and catered for. We were worried they were abit loud in the pool etc and nobody ever complained. Putu the housekeeper was very polite and helpful and it was great to see our little 1 interacting with her each day. The rooms are spacious and beds were comfy. Clean and tidy with only a few imperfections from it being an older place, but nothing that stood in the way from it still being a nice place.

We had a great stay at Helly & Peters place. Ms. Putu was an absolute angel and looked after us very well. She made us fleshly squeezed orange and fresh fruit juice every morning and a beautiful and varied breakfast each day. She also cleaned our rooms and kept the whole place clean and tidy.

Our stay at Helly and Peter’s place was good. It was a great base camp to have our stuff in order to visit other places in Bali. Helly and Peter are great hosts as well. They made sure we were doing okay despite the construction going on next door next to their coffee shop (this would be the only negative of the place for us) . Miss Putu was definitely the highlight of our stay with them. Her breakfasts in the morning was definitely a great way to start our day, as well as her general warmness and friendliness. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience Bali

El lugar es muy tranquilo y cómodo para un grupo familiar como el nuestro. Helly y Peter un encanto de personas muy preocupados y dispuesto a solucionar cualquier problema. It was nice to receive a warm welcome. The guest's inconveniences were resolved as quickly as possible. Specially when we went downtown, Peter dropped us off with his car. Helly und Peter waren sehr angenehme znd zuvorkommende Gastgeber, die uns gleich bei der Ankunft freundlich begrüßt haben. Vorab haben sie für uns 2 Fahrer organisiert, die uns vom Flughafen abgeholt haben. Einer der Fahrer hat mit uns später ebenfalls tolle Ausflüge unternommen - er war super zuverlässig und engagiert, ging auf unsere Wünsche ein und hat für und Touren zusammengestellt. Ms. Putu, die Haushälterin, hat ein großes Herz für Familien und war für alle Wünsche - insbesondere beim Frühstück - offen. Sie war stets aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war immer sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich Peter kam jeden Morgen auf einen Plausch vorbei, erkundigte sich nach unserem Befinden und Plänen für den Tag und gab uns viele Infos zur Umgebung und Zielen. What a gem. Beautiful property in a great location in Sanur. Tucked away in a safe and quiet neighborhood but walkable to lots of things; sunrise and bangsal beaches, the port, the boardwalk with small stores, cafes, restaurants, local eateries. Very convenient. The property is a wonderful home-based for our family; it has everything we need and more to rest, relax, and get together. Most of of all, the hosts (and staff) are very welcoming, helpful, kind, and made you feel like you are family. Note that this is a house, not a resort with its amenities; there are insects, and the usual neighborhood noises. We had a memorable stay and would recommend this place for those who wants to experience/explore Sanur.

Peter and Helly were wonderfully warm, friendly, and accommodating hosts. Peter gave us great local recommendations and even took us to a local walk/hike/run group where we got to go on an amazing hike, saw traditional Balinese dancing, and met an amazing group of people! They even had a baby car seat that we were able to use for longer drives. Mrs. Putu made a delicious breakfast every morning and cleaned and aired our rooms daily, so everything stayed nice. It was great to have the pool to swim in as well, and they had it cleaned regularly. Helly was out of town most of the time that we were there, but we met her on the last day and she even shared some of her delicious cooking with us. Highly, highly recommend staying with Peter and Helly!

We had the time of our life at Joglo view. at the very first instant, it feels like you are transported back in time to one of those old, lavish and royal makaans. And then you come to see the modernity. Comfortable beds and bedrooms, the ACs could have been better though. Wonderful pool and patio. Spent most of our time here. A fully equipped functional kitchen. We had a small baby so often had to make quick snacks. And the kitchen was well up to it. Hally herself was a wonderful host. And Ms. Putu always prepared the best breakfast for us. We are vegetarian and so Ms. Putu prepared the best Mee Goreng and Eggs for us every day. Loved her hospitality. I must say that while Sanur itself doesn't have a lot to offer (except the walkable beach), but it's uniquely placed ! - equidistant to Airport, Semniyak and Ubud. So it's the most convenient location one can think of in my opinion if you need to cover these places in a week or so. Overall, very happy with our stay !

Our family enjoyed our stay. Massive place, surrounding a lovely pool. Putu the housekeeper was so helpful, and so were the hosts when we had a small hishap. Highly recommend for a bigger group. But note that the bedrooms are far apart which may be an issue if you have young children. Also beware there is no pool fence but we managed fine with young kids.

Perfect house. Clean swimmingpool. Great service from the personel and we Will remember the breakfast forever!! Beautiful flowers in the garden. Airconditioning in the rooms worked just fine. Sanur is not the most interesting place in Bali, but the house is perfect!

We are a family of 4 with twin teen boys and it was a perfect place to stay for 6 days for us in Sanur. The house is beautiful and each room is very good size with king size beds. Location was great. You can walk to the beach in a few minutes. We really enjoyed renting bicycles at the beach and riding on the bike lane to get to other parts of Sanur. So many new restaurants and cafes along the beaches! Helly (Peter was not in the country) is so helpful and friendly. At the end of our stay we felt we were leaving our friends' home and felt a little sad to go. Putu who comes to the home everyday to cook wonderful breakfast and take care of the house is so warm and helpful, always has a big smile on her face and it was so nice to see her every morning when we woke up to a yummy breakfast already set up by the time you come out of your bedrooms. Helly introduced us to her friends and we even went out together a few times. If you prefer a privacy, they will give you that, of course

The place was great, had a pool table so was able to have a few games with mates, then literally a 5 min walk to the harbour to go to Nusa penida, highly recommend, thanks

it's good place at Sanur. Hello and Peter are awesome host. we stayed one night only but this is a good place for couples to stay. private, friendly, near to the beach. Ms Putu is good helpful and great cook. basic Baliness breakfast but taste great. highly recommended for groups, couples to stay n enjoy.

This is a great find in Sanur, close to the beach but down a lane that increases privacy and quiet. There is plenty of nature around including geckos and frogs and bats at night and lots of birds and bees. Lovely pool under the mango tree. Putu our housekeeper was open hearted, friendly, positive as well as organised, she really helped us feel at home. Wonderful breakfasts. Yoile also was always busy and friendly. Helly was great at communicating. And helpful and kind. We walked all over .. to the beach, to restaurants and shops. Always happy to get back to the pool, the pool table, the clean sheets, tv and wifi. Thoroughly recommend!

We miss joglo view and Putu already! This place has such character and a fabulous lay out. Big open air spacious areas, nice AC bedrooms and fantastic kitchen amenities. Helly was so helpful and we really appreciated being so welcome with our two little kids, baby bath tub, high chair and toys were nice. Lovely to see Putu smiling every day cooking delicious breakfast. Thank you for sharing such a unique place!

Very peaceful villa, with lovely pool. Little bit away from the main part of Sanur, but easy access to beach and not far from Grand Lucky Supermarket. Breakfast was lovely each morning from Putu who lives on premises.

Great place to stay. Easy to find in maps so no worries in getting to the wrong place. The place is really nice and cozy.

Amazing place powered beatiful hearts of owners, thrilling hospitality and renevable energy - their solar PV generator is powering house and feeding grid. Also food is great and local.

The hosts were gracious to offer a special gift for us to help celebrate our honeymoon in Bali. The hosts were quick to provide responses to all of our questions prior to our visit and Ms. Putu was also helpful with setting up personal drivers for us to go sightseeing. Ms. Putu provided wonderful breakfasts everyday and was accommodating to our schedule. The beach is very close (literally a 5 minute walk) and there are many options for meals. It was beautiful to have a pool to cool down in after long days sightseeing. I cannot wait to return!!

This place in Bali was Perfect for us! The space was amazing, the housekeeper was so gracious and sweet and respectful of our time. Punta would have breakfast ready for us every morning, make up our sheets to our bed while we were away and even helped us with getting dinner delivered on our first nights arrival. Communication was stellar and the location was easy walking distance to Sanur beach or to a supermarket. Overall this stay was one of the best we’ve ever been on! Thank-you so much!

Excellent villa with three separate bedrooms with shower and toilet in each. Very comfortable and creative interior design, fully equipped kitchen. Great location, only 1 km by foot to the nearest and the best beach in Sanur. Special thanks for the housekeeper Putu, who prepared for us breakfast every day, and especially for the master class in cooking of Indonesian cousin. Die Gastgeber Helly und Peter stehen mit Tipps jederzeit zur Verfügung und besorgen auch einen Fahrer oder ein Scooter wenn gewünscht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder. Our family of four booked for 20 days and loved staying in this spacious and generous villa. Ms. Putu stays on the property and kept the house tidy, beds made up every day and also made us breakfast. The pool area was lovely and cool for this hot time of year. We rented bikes for the entire time and explored the beach front which was great. Peter and Helly were very welcoming and generous. All in all a great stay.

This place is truthful and transparent. What you see (in the pictures) is what you are getting. No doubt about it! This place offers room service like no other and even throws an outstanding and delicious breakfast with local fruit and bread. Peter replied to all my messages and every question that I had concerning the place and what to do locally. Not to mention the decor and tons of books to read around the villa. Bottom line, if you want a cozy, nice place, this is the place to stay. Hands down!

My wife and I were here for a month. The place was very comfortable for us. Helly and Peter are wonderful people and were always reachable to answer questions. Ms. Putu is a lovely person who lives on the property and took care of us with delicious daily breakfasts and daily room cleanings. - We were met by Ms. Putu for check-in. She showed us around and explained everything. - The apartment was in a very good location for the beaches of Sanur. We were within a 7 minute walk of a beach and a 20 minute walk of several beautiful beaches. Within 10 minutes drive/taxi/Grab from many, many quality and inexpensive restaurants. There are a few good supermarkets within a 10 minute drive as well (we liked the Popular Market) and there is a quick market nearby at the end of the street. There are many, many day trips and excursions within an hour or two. - The pool is very nice and a great daily break from the heat. - Large and comfortable bed. There are actually three nice separate bedrooms as part of the villa but we only used the one. - Sufficient WiFi. Routinely measured from 7 to 9 Mbps download and 2 to 4 Mbps upload speeds. - Sanur is the quieter side of Bali which is why we chose it. Nice beaches. Hundreds of restaurants from which to choose.

It’s a beautiful place and Ms. Putu was very nice making us breakfast every morning and keeping the place clean. The location was good if you are planning to go explore Bali, but be prepared to spend at least on hour if you are going to the west coast or to the city. The traffic are really bad every day. But it’s also very close to get the boats to go to Nusa Penida. Overall, I enjoyed very much my staying at the villa.

Wir verbrachten wundervolle Urlaubstage in der Villa und liebten die ruhige Lage in einer Seitenstraße. Der Kontakt zu Helly und Peter war schnell, unkompliziert und immer mit einpaar Tipps für die Inselerkundung versehen. Putu die Haushälterin zauberte uns immer das Frühstück für einen guten Start in den Tag. Die Billiardplatte war bei unseren Teenagern das abendliche Highlight.

The space of the is the first thing that stole our impression of the Joglo Villa. It’s huge!! We came as a family with 4 members (I, my wife and 2 daughters), and the space is much more than enough to accomodate 2 families just like ours. To make more special, it has a snooker table which able to be played freely. The water in the pool is crystal clear and the trace of chlorine is almost undetectable. As a housekeeper Ms. Putu gave us a simple tasty breakfast with a decent taste. The villa also located at beach where speedboats are docking before they go to Nusa Penida island, so if have a plan to go to Nusa Penida, this villa is the best location to start. It’s just a walking distance to the beach.

Very beautiful home! I loved the open area of the kitchen and play room. Very spacious and well taken care of. Home came with everything we could possibly need and Ms. Putu’s cooking was excellent! Very delicious food. My family and i loved it! We ventured out to the beach only a few min away. Very conveniently located near shops and lots of places to eat. Has a washer that we used and hung clothes to dry. Very homey feel to the house and huge! We loved it!

Joglo view villa transpire l'esprit Balinais... Un petit havre de paix au fond d'une ruelle à 3 minutes de la magnifique plage de sable blanc où il fait bon admirer la marée et les cerfs volants... Et la délicieuse Putu concocte chaque matin des petits déjeuners à l'image de Bali, Mie Goreng et fruits frais un régal! Réservez les yeux fermés!

As a family travelling with little children (ages 4 and 1,5), you won‘t find a better place to stay in Sanur area. We were completely overwhelmed by the beautiful setting of the house with it’s cozy rooms, pretty garden and fantastic pool. There were also outdoor toys for the children prepared. Moreover Putu was a outstanding for welcoming, taking care and preparing daily breakfast menues. Wow! We can only say to others: Go there and you’ll feel like being in a little paradise on earth.

We spent six nights here with our three children. Ms Putu was wonderfully responsive and helpful, including for a sudden late night issue. Rooms were spacious, pool refreshing. Convenient to the beach and cheap but delicious warungs. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Sorry for going through so much Nutella.

Комната в удалённом углу ( справа, если смотреть на кухню) больше всех по площади, кровать тоже достаточно большая. Жила семья из трёх человек. Ближайшая комната поменьше , с кроватью поменьше. Вмешались втроём. В этой комнате, если шёл ливень, сильно пахло канализацией. Поэтому поднимались на второй этаж. На втором этаже хорошая комната, в тёплых тонах, немного больше чем комната внизу. Но дует кондиционер на кровать. Стелили сверху полотенце и становилось нормально. Вилла со всеми удобствами. Миссис Путу готовит отличные завтраки каждый день и убирается. Бассейн достаточного размера, чтобы охлаждаться в нем. Чистый. Я бы рекомендовала эту виллу для длительного проживания. Уж очень нам там понравилось! Сама часть Санура тихая. Недалёко от пляжа . Но можно выезжать и в центр Санура. Нам все понравилось!!!! Вернулась бы ещё раз

We loved the place. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the unique features were charming. Pool was good. Staff so beautiful and helpful. The flowers walking in are a beautiful touch. Good resturants nearby and only a short walk to the beach. Would definitely look to stay here on my next trip.

Spacious, clean & convienent to the beach! There are no shortage of restaurants along the beach and a supermarket right outside the ally.

We spent two nights at Helly’s and Peter’s, the location is great, the house is located in an alley, it is safe and quiet. There are plenty of restaurants, Dunkin Donuts, KFC and a supermarket within 5 minutes walk, the beach is just a scroll away. Peter and Helly don’t usually stay in Bali, we had the pleasure to meet them and my two kids loved playing with them. Putu cooked some delicious breakfast for us and helped us booked taxi and took care of our laundry. It was a very enjoyable stay and we hope to come back some day.

Awesome place to stay. Beautiful and cozy house and we were looked after very well. Definitely will book again if in the area.

The house is spotless clean and taken care of daytime by Ms. Putu. She prepared most delicious omlettes ever for breakfast. The house is a very nice mixture of Bali's traditional life and European comfort. We felt like home as there was everything one needs to prepare all the meals (although we mostly preferred to try nice restaurants of Sanur and used the house's equipment for only snaks). Joglo is very interesting to examine with all the wooden details. Peter and Helly were so kind, although they were not physically there they were with us in every stage of our stay with their kind messages and answered our every question precisely. We would not search for any place else if we come to Sanur again hopefully.

Really amazing for the price. Only negative is figuring out how to get there the first time. Still totally not an issue after that and the communication was great. House keeper was fantastic. Showed up early to make breakfast when we were leaving for an early flight. Awesome

As all the other reviews have said, we agree that this place is a spacious, quiet sanctuary, close to everything. The rooms are spacious with ensuites, tvs, aircon. It is clean and relaxed. The pool is shaded under a gorgeous tree, which helped shade from the sun. Our kids didnt get sunburnt swimming in the pool. Just a short stroll to beach which has no waves, so gentle for swimming but if you want to surf, it is an easy paddle out to reef. Close to grocery store, push bike rental, day spa. Also, it was awesome to hire bikes and ride to sanur beach with loads of shops, restaurants and beachfront bars. So much more relaxed than kuta areas, with beautiful gardens snd path that goes along the beach.

it was a great value for a private villa with 3 rooms. its not a very fancy lavish place, but it was just perfect for our short stay with our friends. also the owners and the caretaker Putu went beyond their responsibility - like keeping our bags for 1 extended night while we went for Nusa Penida visit

Beautiful house with confortable and spacious rooms in a quiet neighborhood and extremely kind and helpful staff.

We (2 adults, 3 kids) stayed at Helly & Peter's place for 5 nights and enjoyed it very much. The place is built for large group with very comfortable three bedrooms with attached bathroom each, a pool table, stunning view from the upper level, excellent private swimming pool and super helpful helper, Ms Putu who prepares breakfast and cleans everyday. The location is very close to Sanur Beach (~5 mins easy walk), restaurants (e.g local dishes, KFC, Dunkin Donuts) and supermarket. This place is perfect for those who prefers to stay out of Kuta, Seminyak area as it is somewhat in the middle of everything (between Kuta, Seminyak in South and say Ubud up north). The host replies messages almost instantly (thank you so much!) and Ms Putu is such a wonderful and helpful helper.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei Helly&Peter. Beide sind wahnsinnig hilfsbereit und auch die Haushälterin Putu hat sich wunderbar um uns gekümmert. Leider ist ihr Englisch nicht ganz so perfekt, wobei wir es letztendlich immer geschafft haben, uns irgendwie zu verständigen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und variierte täglich, die Unterkunft war sauber und die Lage sehr zentral. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Loved, loved, loved Helly and Peter’s place. Located at the northern end of Sanur, down a safe residential lane, the villa offers a sanctuary to step off the everyday treadmill. The photos do not do this property justice. The beds, bedding and layout give the perfect holiday retreat for up to 3 couples. A short walk accesses the oceanfront walkway which extends 8 km north to south and passes numerous market stalls, ferry services and quality beachfront restaurants. The villa is also serviced by a supermarket at the entry to the lane way, should you wish to self cater. Taxis also congregate here so a short cab ride will have you on the doorstep of retail therapy or a highly reviewed restaurant. The hidden gem is Ms Putu. She quietly and unobtrusively prepares delicious breakfasts, tidies, makes your bed and proved a godsend to us when our pre arranged driver had car issues the day we had a flight to catch. Most accommodation has a special person which keeps the wheels turning, but Ms Putu is simply wonderful.

Helly and Peter are fantastic hosts who went to great lengths to make our stay as good as possible. They helped with cancelled flights, arranged transportation and were always available for our questions. The house itself is much bigger than it appears on the pictures - there is enough space for a large family. It is also very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Putu, the housekeeper, is also fantastic. She cooks fresh breakfast every morning and keeps the place clean and tidy. Some parts of the house were a bit old. The water heater made problems (it was fixed quickly) and some parts are a bit run-down. We'd definitely come back, though and can only recommend the villa! Thanks Peter, Helly & Putu!

Helly & Peter's place is very comfortable, it is only a walking distance to Sanur Beach. Breakfast was served every morning, which was a HUGE plus. The pool and the whole house was clean. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

This place is great. The pictures don't make justice to how awesome the villa is. It is so close to an amazing beach and many restaurants. Also, getting in the town is very easy and inexpensive using Grab; so many restaurants options there as well. The hosts went beyond all expectations and drove us to Samui town the very same night we arrive to show us an amazing Italian restaurant! We couldn't be happier. I can honestly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bali. Samui is the best place to be on the island if you're looking for peace and relax!

It's a big place with a spacious pool that was great during our staying at the villa. Surrounding area is kept in a good shape by a housekeeper. We've liked a lot great breakfasts that Ms. Putu(housekeeper) made for us each morning. Also there's a lot of shadow at all time at the open space due to the tree which is great for chilling at the pool. Villa's having a great location - you have KFC, Pizza Hut, McDonalds to save you during your first days and great warungs(local food) for a further exploration. There's also a cheap supermarket nearby and Hardy's hypermarket in a 3 minutes ride. Also Popular market(high-tier supermarket with foreign goods) can be reached quite easily. We would like to thank you Helly and Peter for inviting us to stay at such amazing place!

Joglo View ist ein wunderschönes, gemütliches Örtchen zum Verweilen, Ausflüge machen, Strand geniessen etc. Putu, die Haushälterin, bereitet jeden Morgen ein leckeres Frühstück. Wir haben eine tolle Woche genossen mit unseren 2 kleinen Kindern.

The house is lovely, just like in the pictures. Very comfortable and agreeable, the private swimming pool is a plus and it was super clean. We didn't particularly like the area, as we felt there weren't many nice restaurants around and the beaches in Sanur aren't great either. Putu was extremely nice and attentive but we felt it was a bit weird that she was around practically all day long - she even stayed over one night in the other house, something with which we really weren't comfortable, as we had rented the whole house precisely because we wanted privacy and the comfort of being alone. She said she was going to sleep at the house throughout our stay, but we talked it over with Helly and it was settled very fast. But other than that, a great place to stay!!!

My 2 friends and I stayed here mid-March. We had a great time. Place was as you see in pictures. Helly always responded very quickly. Putu went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We arranged our airport transfers through Helly/Putu and a guy named Windu picked us up. He was really nicd and friendly and we ended up doing some more tours with him. The villa is in a quiet location and only a couple of minutes walk to the shops or the beach. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Amazing villa at a bargain price. Everything is just as pictured. We always rent scooters when visiting Bali so the location is very good. If you are on foot the location may not be the best but you are still close to a lot of things. Sanur is especially great for scuba divers who want to make daily trips to Nusa Lembongan & Nusa Penida.

Our stay in Sanur was very relaxing. The villa is exactly as shown on the photos, maybe even better. The rooms are large and are kept very clean by Putu. Every morning Putu prepared a very delicious breakfast. The villa is located close to several different restaurants and approx. 5 minutes from the beach. It is very good for families as it is very quite and a lot of activities can be done in walking distance. We had the luck to meet Helly and her husband Peter, who gave us a very warm welcome. They also gave us a lot of helpful information for our stay in Bali. We fully can recommend the villa of Helly!

As a family, it was wonderful to have a quiet home to come back to after any adventures. Walking distance to beaches and a short cab trip into central Sanur make for a great location. Easy access to a well equipped kitchen and tips on gluten free food in Sanur also made a huge difference.

The villa was perfect for our needs. It was very clean and spacious and had everything our family could want. Having the pol was fantastic- our 18 son year old never missed a day "playing in it”! :o) The location was perfect - away from the noise but within easy access of Sanur Beach, local restaurants, local shops and a supermarket. It had a well equipped kitchen - however, we generally just ate out as it was very close to good, cheap restaurants – especial on Sanur Beach Our housekeeper, Putu, was brilliant - her breakfasts were really tasty (and she had no problem coping with us being vegetarian) and she was unobtrusive when cleaning which was nice. The driver you provided was fantastic. A late pick up from the airport was hassle fee. He was always on hand to help with organising trips, suggesting places and contacting Putu for us if we needed her at short notice for an early breakfast. Thanks again - we would definitely use again given the chance and recommend it to others. Thanks again!

Wir haben eine Woche als Familie mit 2 Kindern im Joglo View verbracht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Putu hat uns täglich mit einem leckeren Frühstück versorgt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und der Pool hat für die nötige Erfrischung gesorgt. Helly und Peter waren vor und während unserem Aufenthalt für alle Fragen erreichbar. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

helly's villa is a lovely place with a wonderful garden, nice room, great pool and an amazing breakfast every day, made by putu. the location is excellent, nearby you can find a supermarket, a lot of warungs and restaurants and the walk to beach takes only 5 minutes. for me it was perfect to start what ever i wanted/needed. clear recommendation to join your holidays here :)

We had a very nice time at Helly's villa. Ms Putu made a wonderful breakfast for us as well! The home is immaculate and very comfortable. The location can't be beat especially if you are catching a boat to Lombok or Lembongan. Highly highly recommend a stay here.

We spent wonderful 16 days in Helly's villa, was truly our home away from home. Quiet and yet close to everything one needs in Bali. Wonderful breakfast prepared every day by Putu was an excellent beginning for our days. Next time we are in Bali Viĺa Joglo will be our first choice for holiday.

The place is nice and clean. There is a pool and roof terrace where you can lay in the sun. Nice lady Putu is there to make sure everything is clean and making you breakfast. There is a beach in only few minutes walk away. Also the local ones use that beach. And if you walk a littlebit further there is a shopping street. Market is super close. Right behind the corner. The place is quiet, so if you are looking for a night life you need to go a little bit further.

So the place is awesome. The WiFi works perfect. Putu is very creative and pleasent to have around. The house is very neat. You have all the freedom you'd like. And everything will be taken care of!!

Hellys place is just great and even though we were not lucky enough to meet her, we felt extremely comfortable throughout our one week stay. There is a nice pool that we had for ourselves and Putu took great care of us from the beginning to the end! We stayed woth a baby and Helly even went as far as to purchase a baby bed for our visit! Thanks so much for an incredibly nice experience!

Helly's place was amazing. Not only is it super peaceful and relaxing, but she made sure to include everything we could ever need during our stay there. Every morning we had a wonderful breakfast made by Putu, and she also helped us with any questions and anything we needed. Our second stay here and perfect as usual. One of the best AirBnBs we have stayed at. Helly & Peter were not here this time but Putu took care of everything and made a delicious breakfast as usual. Thank you!

We loved our stay Helly & Peter's. They are so friendly, welcoming, hospitable and the house has practically everything you can think of. The rooms are set out very thoughtfully and there's everything from toiletries to sunscreen. The bed is so comfy!! Breakfast was great and Putu really took care of us. WiFi works very well too. It's very close to the beach and near restaurants too. The place is like a haven in the middle of the hustle & bustle of Bali and the pool is just perfect. The photos don't do it justice!

Helly and Peter were the best hosts. Very helpful even during the booking process and were very accommodating all throughout my stay. Villa was more beautiful than the pictures and Putu always made sure it is immaculately clean everyday. Love the breakfast as well :) Helly even gave me a list of "must do" and "must try" ;) Will definitely recommend to all my friends and family in the Philippines! I will be back soon ;)

My stay was incredible. Helly & Peter were very welcoming and accommodating throughout my stay. Putu made delicious and healthy breakfasts every morning. The space is very beautiful and doesn't do it justice. The beach is 2 minutes away and there are lots of great places to eat near by. I can't wait to go back.

Die Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Traum:) die Bilder Versprechen nicht zu viel, denn es sieht alles genauso aus nur in natura noch schöner. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und wurden jeden Tag gereinigt. Wir erhielten jeden Tag ein leckeres Frühstück und Putu achtete darauf wann wir aufstehen und bereitete erst dann unser Frühstück vor. Die Anlage lädt zum träumen ein und gibt ein das Gefühl auf Bali angekommen zu sein. Der Strand ist nicht weit entfernt und in der näheren Umgebung gibt es einen Supermarkt, Restaurants. Wir können hellys Haus zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Danke für diese tolle Zeit! Wir kommen wieder :)

We had a wonderful stay at the Joglo View Villa. They welcomed us with a cool drink and were very easy to communicate with. We loved the little oasis feel. Breakfast in the morning was terrific and the room was beautiful.

We love Helly's place so much! Everything is perfect. But we didn't meet Helly this time. Pity helps us a lot. Breakfast is healthy and tasty. Although we didn't have everyday in the villa. Recommend to everyone. Enjoy here so much!

Helly et Peter n'étaient pas sur place pendant notre nuit à Sanur. Cependant, nous avons été très bien accueillis et bichonnés par Putu, l'intendante de la villa. Nous nous sommes sentis très bien dans cet endroit plein de charme, décoré avec goût. Nous sommes très loin de la "froideur" des hôtels : ici, on s'y sent comme chez soi. L'endroit est très propre, à deux pas de la plage et des restaurants qui longent le bord de mer. Le petit déjeuner concocté par Putu est un vrai régal (et très copieux). Bref, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

The home was just like in the pictures -- so charming and lovely. Beautiful home! I loved the outdoor area/kitchen surrounding the pool- great for lounging and relaxing. The room was cozy and clean with a very comfy bed! Although Helly was out of town for my short one-night stay (I would've loved to have met her!!) she was readily available via email/text to answer any and all of my questions. Very sweet and helpful! The woman welcoming me there was also lovely, making me a cup of coffee when I arrived and then the most delicious breakfast before my early morning flight the next day. It was a short stay for me, but would have been wonderful to stay longer with friends or family!

We had very comfortable stay at Helly's villa .The villa looks exactly as in pictures and even better.Breakfast was very nice and healthy. Not far from the beach but it's a pity that the actual beach is not good for swimming.

Van bij aankomst was ons verblijf bij Helly en Peter fantastisch. Zeer mooie en nette kamers, ontzettend warm onthaal en continue hulp om alles te regelen, heerlijk zwembad voor de kinderen, pooltafel, zalige bedden die zorgden voor een goede nachtrust, het strand vlakbij, huur van motorbikes next door, goede tips rond transport en must-sees, heerlijk ontbijt,... Maar bovenal de warme, huiselijke atmosfeer vonden we super. Kortom, een home away from home gevoel. Aan iedereen aan te bevelen! Dankjewel Helly en Peter

Helly and Peter are the best hosts you can imagine! They are so welcoming, nice and helpful. The breaktfast was lovely. Our room was clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. 5 mim walk to the beach. Thanks to you two! hope we come back some time and til then we'll pratice playing pool:)

Helly and Peter's place was perfect and even prettier in person than the pictures. Upon a delayed arrival, they patiently guided the taxi driver on directions and greeted me. The decoration and touches their maid, Putu, put in the room made me felt extra welcome. The place got everything I needed with bonus of a gorgeous pool right outside the room, a pool table and quaint balcony on the second level that you can enjoy a quiet sunset. Helly and Peter gave me some tips to go around town and my trip wouldn't be as awesome without their suggestions. I can't recommend their place enough!

Helly and Peter were great hosts! We couldn't have asked for anything more. They were very kind and helped us with anything we needed. The place is exactly as the pictures look, the breakfast was delicious, the location was great; I would definitely stay here again!

Wir waren mit unserem 11 Monate alten Kind für 10 Tage in Helly's Unterkunft. Super!!! Es fing schon mit dem sehr leckeren servierten Frühstück an. Egal ob man Tagesausflüge unternimmt oder einfach nur zu Hause am Pool relaxed, wir haben die Zeit sehr genießen können. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, ruhig und infrastrukturiell bestens gelegen. Helly und ihr Mann Peter sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber,die uns stets gute Tipps und Tricks geben konnten. Gerne haben wir auch mal gemeinsam gegessen und konnten so viele tolle Einblicke in die balinesische Kultur bekommen. Wir können das Joglo view nur weiterempfehlen!!! Vielen lieben Dank für alles.

Helly and Peter were some of the most incredible hosts I've encountered, not to mention their villa is stunning. Peter quickly picked me up, they gave me a tour of their home, and even put together several delicious dishes for me since it had been a long day. The room was very spacious, the pool breathtaking, and the breakfast delightful. Highly recommend you book this one whether you're alone or bringing the family! Thanks again for a memorable stay!! :)

We werden hartelijk, met een welkomstdrankje, onthaald bij aankomst in Joglo View Sanur. Het is een rustige locatie vlak bij het strand met vele restaurants en waar je heerlijk kunt vertoeven op een ligbed. De kamer is groot, mooi ingericht, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De kamer ligt aan het zwembad waar je heerlijk een verfrissingsduik in kunt nemen en uitrusten in een zitzak. Je kunt van de open keuken gebruikmaken. Hier wordt 's morgens een heerlijk ontbijt geserveerd. Een plaats om niet meer weg te gaan.

There was an initial misunderstanding when we first arrived however Helly very quickly rectified this. We were greeted with a cooking drink (which is very welcome given the heat in Bali) and were shown to our very beautiful room with a lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. The open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area made use of the breeze in the afternoon and the pool was lovely and always refreshing We were spoilt with breakfast cooked for us every morning by the Housekeeper and our room was cleaned daily. The house is 5mins to Sanur beach and very close to a supermarket, restaurants and transportation. Overall we had thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely head back to Bali again!
