Exploring Jungle Villa with Waterfall & Treetop View - Ubud left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Jungle Villa with Waterfall & Treetop View - Ubud was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Tampaksiring plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Jungle Villa with Waterfall & Treetop View - Ubud painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
This would have been a 5 star stay if it wasn’t for the noise we endured. On the first morning, rather than wake up to the sound of the jungle and waterfall - about 8am we were woken to the sound of a tile cutter. They were renovating the apartment below us. Despite receiving a message early in the morning, hoping we were enjoying said jungle noises and the waterfall, this was replaced by machinery. I think it’s inexcusable to rent out the villa above if they’re planning to do work. We took a nap in the afternoon only to be woken by the cutter. Thankfully it was only one day, but not the first day we expected and we weren’t even compensated for the disturbance. I would recommend this place, but I’d make sure with the host first that there is no noisy work being carried out. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Beautiful location!

As described. Hosts were very helpful. Beautiful scenery. Quiet and peaceful while I was there. Otherwise clean. A/C was great. WiFi worked well. Mosquito net was helpful. Helpful and responsive hosts. Great Ubud tip sheet. Shower is fully exposed to the forest area, but also has a unique glass ceiling allowing sunlight in. Bad side was that the room had a strong moldy/musty smell, and it appeared there was mold in the A/C. Pillows and mattress also had an old, dirty smell. I couldn’t use them. In Bali, most places have mold, unfortunately - even luxury hotels - but it should be controlled.
De smukkeste omgivelser! Der på alle måder indbyder til ro i naturen. Derfor bookede jeg stedet. Desværre var de igang med at bygge et af de andre huse færdigt, (taget bl.a.) og det medførte meget larm, der derfor klart ødelagde den ellers tiltænkte ro i naturen, jeg havde set frem til, og som stedet også beskriver. Jeg påtalte dette, men der var åbenbart ikke noget at gøre ved det. Det gjorde derfor at jeg var nødt til at tage mere væk end regnet med, fordi larmen var for ødelæggende. Virkelig ærgerligt fordi boligen og omgivelserne er 5/5, men opholdet i sin helhed blev altså ikke. Jeg sagde også til værterne, at det ville have været værdsat hvis de havde skrevet dette som en information; at der under mit ophold ville være larm fra byggeri, fordi så havde jeg booket det en anden god gang i stedet. Men smukt sted og dejlig bolig, dét er der ingen tvivl om. - uden larmen havde det været perfekt.
Had a peaceful, nourishing 6-day stay at Villa Celagi. Villa Terra overlooks the forest valley, and the view and sounds of birds and crickets and the running river were definitely the highlight. My room was always clean, and came with great breakfast options (chia puddings, fried rice, or toast, with fruits and a smoothie and tea/ coffee). Some minor points to note: (1) The room door isn’t fully soundproof, so in the morning you can hear talking outside. But there is soundproofing in the floor, so you won’t hear the guests in the room downstairs. (2) It’s pretty out of the way for motorcycle riders, so it’s sometimes hard to get a ride (Gojek, Grab). You’ll want to buffer in more transport time for this, or book a car if you are on a tighter schedule.
Sehr guter Empfang – mega lieb und überaus freundlich. Das Badezimmer hatte leider kein Fenster, und nachts hörte man auf der Decke seltsame Geräusche. Vermutlich irgendwelche Tiere, die sich dort wohlfühlen – es sei ihnen gegönnt :) Der Empfang war eine 10/10. Der Wasserfall war wunderschön zu hören, und insgesamt herrschte ein sehr liebes Klima. Zu empfehlen. 👍🏽✨ Vielen Dank!
Villa Celagi is a tranquil oasis with beautiful views of Ubud jungle. The hosts were friendly and made delicious breakfast every morning. Great for a quiet getaway but a bit further from the main Ubud centre.
Beautiful location! The view from the room is incredible- like living in the middle of a jungle. The room itself was spotless. The washroom, was just okay. Our only concern was that it was completely open- no glass or net covering - like a balcony. This has its pros and cons. At night, there were quite a few insects in the washroom, but we eventually got used to it, and the stunning view more than made up for it. Great host and hospitality.
This is unique stay - tranquil and modestly comfortable. The attraction is the private waterfall and the path to it comes through dense vegetations to open to a natural pool where one can swim amidst nature. The staff is helpful and the amenities adequate. The kitchen is a bit let down more due to he mess created by residents rather than the hotel staff. A pleasant stay at a striking distance to the more chaotic Ubud
Meget smuk beliggenhed med udsigt til jungle, og der er også lidt fugleliv at studere. Vi havde glæde af det fælles køkken, og stedet er i overensstemmelse med billederne. Meget venligt og imødekommende personale. Et stort minus er dog en række meget høje trappetrin, som skal forceres, hver gang man bevæger sig uden for egen terrasse, så stedet er ikke velegnet for gangbesværede.
Great private hous in middle of forest, all staffs were a call away and very nice kitchen The only issue was its far from the mainland and no good resturants nearby . Ordering the food is difficult as it takes hours to reach. If you have a scooty or plan to cook this can be resolved
Overall our 3 week stay was worth it. Positives: mesmerizing jungle view- waterfall, birds and sometimes even monkeys! It’s the most special part of the villa. Comfy bedroom, good desks for working, nice veranda daybed, good AC. The hosts are very responsive and do their best to fix things quickly. Downsides as the first guests: challenging to cook in unfinished kitchen- not shown that sink and counter is awkwardly located in a bathroom. Cleaning available 2x a week, however their systems aren’t really automated yet so I needed to routinely ask for basics like toilet paper, towels, blanket back after it was taken to be washed. River access available but take at own risk as the jungle and path is pretty wild and not so convenient. Alternatively there is a beautiful, easier accessible waterfall 5 minutes up the road. Apart from that, worth it and am hopeful that the hosts can create an excellent stay for future guests!
One of our favourite stops so far along our journey round Bali, Highly recommend for people travelling round Ubud area. Staff were amazing also. Definitely would come back!
Could not fault this Villa Celagi. I loved it so much that I extended my stay twice. if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful location to rest, then i would highly recommend. The breakfast is divine and the staff are so kind and helpful also.
Absolutely loved our stay. In hindsight, we wished we had stayed longer. Beautiful spacious and private room with a stellar view to wake up to. Convenient and delicious restaurant upstairs, also with an endless view. We had a couple of minor issues with our room, but staff were amazing, and responded and fixed things immediately. We would definitely stay again.
We loved our stay at Villa Celagi. It was one of the coolest and nicest airbnbs we stayed at in all of Bali. The view of the jungle from our room was incredible. The staff was so friendly and kind. They arranged a bike rental for us and offered a laundry service as well. The complimentary breakfast was great as well. They can bring the food to your room so you can enjoy breakfast privately with an amazing view. It was a very clean space. And it was only about a 15-20 minute bike ride to the main town center. We loved our stay!

Super location, in nature, below there is a river and a secret waterfall for the adventurers (go left on the stone itself when downstairs). Staff is great as well great people!. Notice that as of june 26 they are having construction there which most of the time kind of blends in with the jungle noise but not always. I believe a couple of months to go. I will be back !
The hosts were very proactive and responsive, the space was just as described with images. Great breakfast and other meal options were provided at the waterfall cafe. Altogether it was a stellar location with an amazing view! The hosts even guided us to the nearby waterfall and helped us with renting a scooter to explore ubud! Overall would 10/10 recommend :)
Super logement, très beau. Correspond aux images et descriptions. Et super rapport qualité prix. Les réponses par message aux demandes mettaient un peu de temps, mais la finalité était respectée ! Loved our stay at Villa Celagi 🌿 The views are beautiful, the food was great, and the whole team made us feel really at home. Special mention to Widhi, genuinely one of the sweetest and most helpful people we met during our trip. I actually fell sick while staying here, and the team helped arrange a doctor and took really good care of me while I recovered. It made a stressful situation feel a lot more comfortable. Going to miss this place and the people here ❤️

Very cute stay in a serene jungle setting looking into a lush green valley. The waterfall/river down at the bottom also very nice. The room was clean and spacious for the two of us plus two small dogs. The only minus is that there is no private kitchen which we assumed from the listing. They offer you to use their restaurants kitchen but a private kitchen space would have definitely added to our experience and ambient during the moments we were “home” and not out and about.
Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön. Alles sauber und nettes Personal. Wir konnte sogar unser Gepäck kostenlos für eine Woche einlagern für unsere Weiterfahrt. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen
Absolutely loved it here! Great location so beautiful, surrounded by nature and the waterfall sound is amazing, unfortunately had heavy rain prior to my arrival so it wasn’t swimmable but still the walk down and the whole scene is unreal! Staff very helpful with my random questions. Overall would definitely recommend

We loved our stay - Widhi and the team were wonderful and the peace of the Villa was something we haven’t had before. A beautiful view overlooking the gorge, with the sounds of nature, flowing water and bird song. The team were super accommodating and even with early activities and things on the go the team helped with meals and flexibility. The room was great and we felt all the peace described in the advert. Also, the outdoor shower was a great addition to the experience. Thanks for having us - we’ll definitely be back.
Absolutely loved staying here. It’s my first time in Bali and it was genuinely the most peaceful and lovely experience I think I could’ve had. The room is gorgeous with an amazing view, the people here are all so kind and helpful, and the cafe was absolutely amazing to have everyday. I loved having all of the little friends visit me in the bathroom (lizards/geckos). They’re friendly and will leave you alone if you leave them be The only thing I would say is that the room is right next to the kitchen of the cafe, so it can get a little loud in the mornings, but it’s manageable.

Absolutely stunning villa overlooking the jungle with a waterfall flowing through the valley. Very relaxing, with services like massages available in your room. The host was great, very helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again

I cannot say enough how wonderful our stay was here!!! The view is just magnificent, the location is peaceful and private, and the staff were so kind!! Not to mention, the waterfall cafe right next to the home was IDEAL!! We could have a drink and food 5 feet from our home!! 10/10 recommend!!!

Truly amazing place in the middle of the jungle! You'll hear the waterfall facing the place all the time! such a wonderful and unique experience. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Ubud, and wanting peace, quite and nature! But, if you want to go to the city center and enjoy some chilled nightlife or wonderful restaurants, it is just 10- minute away by motorbike or car. The host and people there are very friendly also! Just a wonderful experience overall.
We absolutely loved our stay and can't say enough about the staff at Villa Celagi! It was the perfect space just outside of the noise of Ubud, but also easy to get into town. It was tranquility at its finest. Given that we went during the rainy season, as soon as we got out of our taxi we were greeted with umbrellas as we got out of the car. They brought us delicious breakfast in the mornings, arranged fantastic in-room massages for us, and even picked up and dropped off laundry for us (which was very reasonably priced). We are Airbnb hosts ourselves back home and we are inspired at their level of service.
We stayed for a week and it absolutely suited our needs and then some. The surrounding jungle was out of this world with exceptional hospitality.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. A truly serene experience waking up in the jungle and away from the bustle of ubud centre. We enjoyed the few warungs in the area & loved the complimentary breakfast served to us. Just a 15 min bike to the centre

Ich habe mich in der Villa Celagi vom ersten Augenblick an super wohl gefühlt. Diese AUSSICHT!! Einfach phantastisch. Ich bin wirklich super begeistert von der Lage und dem Zimmer selber. Direkt vom Bett aus Sicht auf den Dschungel, die Bäume und das so typische Zyrpen der Insekten. Also für mich ist diese Unterkunft eine 10 von 10, einfach wegen dem Zimmer und der phantastischen Aussicht. Da ich während der Nebensaison reiste, war die Auswahl im Restaurant etwas kleiner, aber es gab immer etwas zu essen. Das Team bringt das Frühstück jederzeit auf's Zimmer oder, so wie ich es meistens einnahm, im Waterfall-Café, mit schöner Aussicht auf das Tal. Die Lage ist ca. 10 Minuten ausserhalb Ubud's mit dem Motorrad und ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Und gerade das war einfach phantastisch. Nahe vom Zentrum, inmitten der schönsten Naturkullisse mit Wasserfall. Ich würde immer wieder in diese Unterkunft kommen, für mich, eine der schönsten auf meiner Reise in Bali
Our stay at this jungle retreat was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by beautiful nature, peaceful vibes, and a truly unique atmosphere that made the whole experience unforgettable. One thing I want to highlight because I saw some people mention it in past reviews is the WiFi. Honestly, it worked phenomenally well for us. We had zero issues streaming, video calling, or getting work done when needed. I genuinely don’t understand why anyone would complain about it. Maybe they just had bad luck, because our connection was consistently strong. The hosts were warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, blending perfectly with the jungle surroundings. If you’re looking for a magical, relaxing getaway with all the comforts you need (including great WiFi!), this is the perfect spot. We would absolutely stay here again! 🌿✨ and they also served breakfast & had massage in house.
Total schön. Vor allem der Wasserfall und Fluss hinter dem Garten. Das Personal ist immer hilfsbereit und freundlich zu uns gewesen. Auch für eine Tour zum Wasserfall kommt immer einer mit. Die Lage ist perfekt wenn man nördlich schöne Sehenswürdigkeiten besuchen möchte. Die warungs und Cafés in der Nähe sind sehr zu empfehlen. Rollerverleih ist auch mit dabei. Frühstück auch. Rund um Sorglosigkeit. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Villa Celagi, nur wenige Minuten von Ubud entfernt, ist ein wahres Juwel mitten im Dschungel. Ich übernachtete in der Stone Villa, und sie war traumhaft! Von der großzügigen Terrasse bot sich mir ein atemberaubender Blick über das üppige Grün des Dschungels. Mit jedem Morgen fühlte ich mich freier, ruhiger und mehr im Einklang mit der Natur. Das Bett war unglaublich bequem, und das offene Badezimmer war ein echtes Highlight! Besonders erwähnenswert ist das köstliche Frühstück, das ich im angrenzenden Waterfall Café genießen durfte. Widhi und ihr Team sind das Herz dieser Oase, so herzlich, aufmerksam und immer vor Ort, um jeden Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem zu machen. Ein großes Dankeschön auch an Widhis Mann Angga, mit dem ich einen unvergesslichen Tag auf einer Tour verbringen durfte. Ich kann die Villa Celagi wirklich jedem empfehlen, der nach Bali reist: ein Ort, an dem man zur Ruhe kommt, Kraft tankt und gleichzeitig das echte Bali erleben kann.
We stayed for 5 nights at "Stone" villa, which was really beautiful. But I'm sure their other villas are just as good. Even though it is not too far from the main road, it is really quiet and peaceful there. The adjacent Waterfall Cafe offers a variety of food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thanks to Widhi and her Team, for all their help and friendly sevice, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Wenn man eine Unterkunft mit Dschungelblick sucht, ist man hier genau richtig. Die Unterkunft liegt vielleicht nicht direkt im Zentrum von Ubud, aber mit Grab und co. ist man in wenigen Minuten dort. Vor Ort haben sich die Mitarbeiter sehr bemüht uns einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!

Heerlijk rustig verblijf iets buiten Ubud. Met zo'n 20 min ben je in Ubud. Aardige medewerkers. Een van de medewerkers was zo lief om met ons naar beneden te lopen om bij een waterval te zwemmen. Wij hebben de eerste avond bij aankomst hier fijn kunnen eten. Updates via Airbnb zijn erg lief en prettig. En natuurlijk een prachtig uitzicht over de jungle.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Villa Celagi. Wenn man abseits des Trubels gerne in der Natur entspannt, ist das genau das richtige. Das Zimmer war super sauber. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Der Service war ausgezeichnet.
Es war ein super schöner Aufenthalt in der Villa Celagi. Bei Fragen wurde uns schnell und zuvorkommend weitergeholfen.
我们是晚上入住的，因为卫生间窗户是没有玻璃的，晚上还是有点吓人，黑漆漆的。我洗着澡上面掉下来一直壁虎在我脚下，差点没吓死。除了这些，别墅的自然环境真的很好，就是我喜欢的乌布丛林的感觉，瀑布小溪森林！

Villa Celagi was one of the best hotels/villas we've been to. The Villa was really in the jungle, the view was stunning! The staff were amazingly kind and we could contact them at almost anytime. The breakfast was perfect and there were options to choose from. You might see some monkeys in the area. There was a temple next to the Villa that the hotels guests could go in to and attend the ceremonies. You can have the sarongs from the Villa (free). Take into account that you might need some time to get a Gojek to come to the Villa but we always managed to get one.

This is a fantastic place to stay if you are visiting Ubud. It is so peaceful and quiet, with the most incredible views of the trees and valley and away from the hectic centre of Ubud yet close to get to. The apartment is beautiful, the breakfasts were delicious and everyone who worked there were very lovely, it’s a wee gem and highly recommended.

Widi ist jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns über Nacht noch einen schnelleren Roller organisiert, weil in der Unterkunft keiner mehr vorhanden war. Wir konnten also pünktlich nach dem leckeren Frühstück um halb 9 los. Alles in allem ist das eine top Unterkunft, die wir mit bestem Gewissen jedem weiter empfehlen würden. Sollten wir nochmal nach Bali reisen und eine relativ zentrale, aber dennoch ruhige Unterkunft suchen, dann werden wir zweifelsohne wieder diese wählen. Man ist in ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Roller in Ubud. Von dem immensen Verkehr in Ubud bekommt man in der Unterkunft gar nichts mit. Wir haben über Nacht immer die Vorhänge offen gelassen, sodass wir morgens beim wach werden einen unfassbar schönen Blick auf den Dschungel hatten. Das Moskitonetz war sehr groß und hat das komplette Bett umfasst. Wir haben daher imrichtig gut geschlafen. Für uns war auch die Matratze sehr bequem. Also vielen Dank Widi für die unvergessliche Zeit.
What an incredible stay. Great communication from the get go, very attentive and organised for us an evening massage. The accommodation is as stunning as the pictures make out. Over looking Ubud jungle making you feel at one with nature. Accompanied by the sound track of the smaller local waterfall and all jungle critters was an experience to remember. Everything was very clean and tidy , our host was incredibly welcoming and helped us arrange travel for the following morning. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to escape the busy streets and ‘want a ride’ chaos. To relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Be advised however the track to the larger waterfall can be slippery, so sensible footwear to be advised or just take it slow - but a great view once you get there
Ein ganz besonderer Ort – absolut empfehlenswert! Die Villa Celagi ist eine traumhafte Unterkunft mitten im Grünen, ruhig gelegen und dennoch nah am Zentrum von Ubud. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und hat sofort eine wohlige Atmosphäre vermittelt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die herzlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber – sie waren jederzeit für uns da und haben unseren Aufenthalt mit ihrer warmen Art unvergesslich gemacht. Unsere Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen! Die Anlage ist wunderschön gelegen, mit tollem Ausblick, das inbegriffene Frühstück war toll und alles vorhanden. Das Personal ist besonders hilfsbereit und freundlich - wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt! ☺️
This place is a dream, positioned outside the hustle and bustle of Ubud with mesmerising jungle views and a waterfall within walking distance. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and I felt right at home and at peace, surrounded by nature in a beautiful and clean villa. Breakfasts were delicious and it was super to easy to rent a scooter to get around ! Terima kasih; I’ll be back for sure !

A wonderful villa slightly away from the Ubud centre, ideal if you have a motorbike - it's around a 20-minute drive. The house manager and all the staff were really nice, hospitable, they made sure I felt comfortable. Would definitely want to be back. Breakfast was excellent with a tropical vibe. I wish I had stayed longer.

Out of all the places we stayed in Bali- this was my favorite! The free breakfast was delicious with beautiful scenery! Host was super responsive and helped us with renting a scooter to explore the area. Our place felt super private while being easily accessible. So many beautiful places nearby and could’ve stayed a long time! The waterfall nearby was the perfect place to cool off👍

Our stay was absolutely perfect — 10/10! The place was peaceful and located in a quiet area, yet just a few minutes from Ubud and lots of great restaurants. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always happy to assist with any requests. We also really enjoyed the breakfast served every morning. If you're exploring Ubud, we highly recommend checking out a restaurant called Honey and Smoke — it was one of our favorites!
The good: 1. The view - it is surrounded by the forest so all you see is green! And since its right next to a waterfall of its own, all you hear is the sound of water crushing against the rocks. 2. The hospitality - Widhi and her team are absolutely the best. Forever smiling, ready to help, will give you recommendations and directions, will help you arrange everything - a drive or a masseuse alike! 3. Breakfast - Since the place is located slightly far from the centre, they provide breakfast of their own which I found to be better than my expectations as well. The not so good: 1. They have openly advertised about its location being away from the centre so its not their fault, however, practically every cafe/restaurant that you would want to eat at in Ubud is ab out 20 mins away by bike. So you might want to really make sure you understand that. That said, everything is as shown and advertised in the listing. And we had a wonderful time!
It’s a new Hidden Gem to me! Villa Celagi staff are very friendly and attentive! We love the surrounding and peaceful atmosphere at the villa so much! We love the breakfast and a daily housekeeping is a plus!! I am a bit surprised that it comes with the villa! Normally, other AirBnB doesnt offer this! Such a peaceful and relaxing stay :) I loved waking up to the sounds of the jungle and the view from the balcony was so beautiful! Staff are so friendly and kind. They helped organize drivers for me. It’s also easy to get a grab bike from the villa. It’s a great location, away from the craziness of the city center but not too far. Breakfast was also very good! My one recommendation would be to install a shutter or something to close the big open window in the bathroom at night . It makes for a very peaceful shower but let’s bugs in at night. Overall, absolutely loved my stay here and will be back!

Stunning views from the room and attached lanai. Incredibly peaceful environment, spacious and comfortable room. Very comfortable king sized bed. Beautiful view from an open and private bathroom. Lovely lounging bed on the lanai. There are other villas nearby, but not so close that you feel a lack of privacy. Every staff person we met was so gracious and kind and accommodating. We felt so very warmly welcomed. The moment the aircon seemed to struggle, it was dealt with immediately. Multiple restaurants within walking distance. A modest shared kitchen was available, but we chose to eat out because the restaurants here are plentiful and affordable. Beautiful little hike down to the waterfall. For anyone who has mobility issues, there are some steep stairs, as the villa is nestled along the hillside for these sweeping views. I have no complaints whatsoever and would not hesitate to stay again.
Widhi ve diğer personeller müthiş ilgiliydi. Her şey tertemizdi. Doğa içinde sessiz ve huzur dolu bir kaç gün geçirdik. Minik jakuzili havuza yağmurda girmek büyüleyiciydi. Geko, karıncalar ve kurbağalar her yerde ve bu çok normal. Doğanın içindeyken garipsemiyorsunuz. Çokça merdiven var ve yürümeyle ilgili bir sorununuz varsa bu konaklama size göre olmayabilir. Benim için hayallerimin ötesinde bir konaklama oldu. Çok teşekkürler! Tekrar geleceğiz.
We just left Villa Celagi, and we already miss everything about it. The breathtaking view that greets you every morning and the lovely people who work there. Widhi is an exceptional host who is always willing to assist and ensure that you have the greatest time possible throughout your stay. We were extremely fortunate to participate in a village house ceremony. It was a powerful experience that we will not soon forget. The villa is only a 10-minute drive from Ubud's main road, but it offers a tranquil setting. My only suggestion for them to improve the whole experience is to tidy the path that leads to the waterfall. We didn't get an opportunity to visit because it was very difficult to get to. We are already planning to return before we leave.
This has been the best stay in my entire trip in Bali..It is surrounded by lush green forest and has the best views for the day as well as for the night. Restaurants are nearby and bali center is 10 mins from the scooter. It has amazing interiors as well as amazing people who are there to help u in whatever u need. The best stay of all time. If you go to Ubud this is the place you should stay.

Incredible place to stay if looking to relax and take in the less touristy side of Bali! A quick 10 minute scooter ride into center Ubud, but feel like you are in remote Bali as there are few other villas around and you have an unobstructed jungle view! Even woke up to Monkeys one morning in the trees above us.

Staying at Villa Celagi was a fantastic experience! Beautiful views of the jungle and waterfalls made it feel like a true sanctuary. I felt right at home with the welcoming atmosphere. The proximity to vibrant downtown Ubud was a bonus, just a short 10-minute drive away. Highly recommend to lovers of silence and nature!
Our favourite accommodation out of our entire visit all over Bali! Total zen, had incredible sleeps and loved the vibes. Can’t wait to visit next time :)

Absolut empfehlenswert! Die Unterkunft war einfach klasse – mitten im Dschungel gelegen, unglaublich ruhig und mit einem fantastischen Ausblick. Die Gastgeberin Widi war äußerst hilfsbereit und hat sichergestellt, dass es uns an nichts fehlte. Eine perfekte Oase für alle, die Erholung in der Natur suchen. 5 Sterne sind hier mehr als verdient!
We absolutely loved staying at villa celagi! The hosts and staff were fantastic, very responsive to all our questions, and always so friendly and made us feel right at home. The room was beautiful with amazing views and beautiful sounds from the rainforest. It’s even better than the pictures. We rented scooters from the villa which made it super easy to get around and only a 15 minute scooter ride in to town. It was nice to be slightly out of ubud in a more private area amongst beautiful rice fields and forests. Thank you so much for having us! We will be back 🤍🤍

My trip is over and I am still reeling under the charm of Villa Celagi. Unforgettable mornings, as you see so much greenery along with a mini waterfall. Even at night when you listen carefully, you hear the sound of waterfall and crickets just like you would hear after selecting ‘Nature’ theme in meditation Apps. Not far from Ubud city centre but enough to make you feel ‘one’ with the nature. Special thanks to Widi for making our stay comfortable and always greeting us with her welcoming smile!
If I had an option to provide 10/10 then would have happily done but unfortunately the app allows only 5/5 stars. The villas and the view of the jungle and waterfall is absolutely splendid and one can spend the whole day just lay down on the cozy day bed. Staffs are extremely helpful , friendly and they go extra mile to ensure everything is taken care of especially Widhie was sweet , easy to communicate and very very professional. When I am back to Ubud , I know where to come back again ! Wanted to extend my stay but sadly , they were fully booked but hey ! There is always a next time …….. Hope to back to this splendid property soon !
Stunning beautiful rainforest villa. I loved waking up to the sounds of the jungle and relaxing on the balcony day bed. Widhie, the manager, was so lovely and helpful and made my stay that much better. So great to have clean fresh underground water. The fruit and coconuts and my scooter were waiting for me on arrival. Absolutely loved my stay at Villa Celagi. Will be back!

Die Unterkunft im Dschungel von Ubud ist toll gelegen, die Aussicht ist umwerfend! Geräuschempfindliche Personen sollten zum schlafen Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen, da man die Natur hört, was beim Einschlafen helfen oder stören kann. Wir haben uns bei Widhie sehr wohlgefühlt und würden die Unterkunft allen empfehlen. Der nahe gelegene Wasserfall ist toll, der Zugang über die Unterkunft ist allerdings eher für Personen geeignet, die sicher zu Fuß sind. Es führt aber auch nahe der Unterkunft eine Treppe zum Wasserfall. Insgesamt eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, die sich lohnt und eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin ♥️
Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön, wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen und das Apartment ist traumhaft gelegen, mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den Dschungel. Einen Roller braucht man aber auf jeden Fall, um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen.
This was the best place we stayed at during our many visits to Bali! It was absolutely beautiful, from the views to the villa itself. Comfy bed, beautiful decor and amazing staff. You wake up to the sounds of birds and the waterfall. We were totally at peace here and extended our stay because we didn't want to leave.
One of my favorite places to stay in Ubud! Everything was great: amazing view, clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly stuff, good location. I really enjoyed staying at this villa! Definitely I recommend this place and will come back again!:)

We loved our stay at Villa Celagi. The surroundings are gorgeous and it feels very private and peaceful. You are at one with nature here. We also felt that the photos don’t do this place justice and it looked even nicer in real life. The furnishings are lovely and the view of the jungle is amazing. The host Widi, and her family, are very sweet, accommodating and helpful. They also provided excellent information and recommendations before we arrived which we were very grateful for. The location is 7-10 minute drive into Ubud centre and we could easily get motorbike taxis. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre and could easily get into town when we wanted. Overall we had a very relaxing stay and recommend this place.
I really enjoyed my stay here. you can constantly hear the running of the waterfall and at night this is all you hear. the day bed/ balcony is perfect to enjoy the view and read a book or have a little tan. after a month in legian this brought me the peace i so badly needed. also they use filtered ground water so you can drink the tapwater but is also a really nice break from the bali water for your hair and skin. i used gojek to get into town which only took 10minutes so definetly the perfect spot to relax and not be too far from everything. everything was so clean and comfy, i felt well looked after and everybody was so friendly and helpful. would recommend staying here when visiting ubud!

The view is astonishing! We definitely did not expect the full beauty of this place. You are located right at the edge of a valley, with a river including a beautiful waterfall down below, and jungle views from your balcony. The daybed invites for a relaxing morning, if you are lucky you cannot watch the monkeys in the trees. The personal was very helpful and friendly, even guiding us privately to the secret waterfall that can be accessed from the property. 11/10 best accommodation we visited in Bali.
