Exploring Limited Promo! Colorful Favela Inspired Room left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Limited Promo! Colorful Favela Inspired Room was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Umalas plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Limited Promo! Colorful Favela Inspired Room painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
The staff was very friendly, and the hotel itself offers some nice spots for taking pictures. There are also a few cafés and small shops nearby. However, the room had a very unpleasant smell, and the sheets and towels did not feel fresh. We had to specifically request fresh towels, as we suspected they had not been changed during the first few days of our stay. The location was also quite disappointing. The hostel is located at the very end of a rather sketchy street, surrounded by stray dogs and run-down buildings. It is not a location where you feel comfortable walking around. To get to the city centre, you need to take a Grab, and due to the traffic, the journey takes at least 30 minutes.

I had a relaxing stay at El Barrio. I loved the decor, styling and the pool. Beautifully comfortable bed. Gede the hotel manager was beyond attentive and made my stay for my birthday extra special.

Everything was good!! The vibe and the aesthetic were nice! I would recommend staying here. The only thing is the location was a bit dodgy, there were drunk people on the road when we’re there.

Great stay! Very beautiful decor, staff was super nice and helpful, splendid communication. The road to the place is slightly difficult to navigate but this is not their fault, hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Really visually appealing hotel, with friendly staff. The location is fine, there are some cafes nearby and massage. Had a very relaxed and chill stay. Overall good experience for the 3 nights i was there alone, will definitely recommend. Be prepared the room is small but wonderful.

The only thing that bothered me is that the rooms are quite close so you can hear everything and also some people that comes here for photoshoots were loud and a bit disrespectful of other guests. Nevertheless, I recommend this cute boutique hotel !

Dit hotel heeft echt een wauw-factor! Ware snoepgoed voor het oog ;-) elke cabin heeft een andere kleur en als de opties er zijn laten ze je kiezen welke kleur cabin jij gaat overnachten. Personeel ook erg vriendelijk en stonden via telefoon en in het echt je gelijk te woord. Ik heb denk ik ook nog nooit eerder in zo’n lekker bed (vooral het beddengoed) geslapen! Zulk zacht beddengoed!! Ook erg leuk opgemaakt (zoals alles in het hotel) Als ik een minpuntje mag noemen is het de straat, je rijdt een steegje in en voelt wat achteraf omdat er weinig licht is. Verder echt een top hotel en zou hier zeker weer naar toe gaan!
Le lieu était très joli et agréable, le personnel très gentil et ils ont été très arrangeants. Seul bémol le shooting photo le matin qui m’a réveillé.

Super unique designed. Every womens dream haha. Room is super comfortable and omg the bedsheets are insane comfortable. Very clean and safe here. Especially for solo female travelers awesome place to stay. And very central to everything in canggu. Love love

The team were so lovely! They always reached out to check on me and see if I was ready for cleaning. There’s maybe 7 rooms in total so very peaceful but wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking to make friends (I accidentally thought it would be more of an upscale hostel vibe) but I had an incredible time nonetheless!! Thank you for having me 💖💖
We had a lovely stay at El Barrio. The staff were so friendly and helpful with our bags. Also so accommodating! We arrived at 2am due to our late flight and the security guard was there to help us with check in. The room itself was lovely, such a comfy bed and the shower had great water pressure. Nice and private with no construction noise. Would really recommend this place to anyone visiting !!

This place was gorgeous and so, so girl coded I LOVED it 🥹😍 Gede, my host, was so kind and super helpful whenever I needed anything at all! The cocktails are delicious at the bar and the pool was my favourite place to be in the mornings ☀️ I stayed in the purple room which is my favourite colour and it was sooooo cozy, comfy & so cute inside! Some friends ended up also staying a night in the room next door and loved it too. Would definitely stay here again 🥰

genuinely the most beautiful place I have ever stayed, the room is amazing, pool area and lobby are so visually appealing and overall just a wonderful place. but what really has made this stay unforgettable is the service; Gede the hotel manager has gone above and beyond to assist me after a very unlucky night led to a stolen phone, lost bank card and illness and he has done everything possible to assist me and make this time easier. I will never forget the help I have received nor will I forget the aesthetic beauty of this hotel.

Fantastic stay! The location is great and everything is just a short scooter ride away. The staff are truly amazing and go above and beyond to help with anything you need, which made the whole experience even better. The pool area is absolutely incredible and the perfect place to relax. And a special mention for the margaritas, they were the best I had in Bali! Thank you all for such a wonderful stay.

Loved my stay here! Gede couldn’t have been more helpful, kind and positive - it made the experience. The bed was so so comfortable. I could keep the room very dark to sleep in (which is not common in bali). The only thing was some dogs that would come up to me when I parked my bike from across the street, I think protective of the locals living there. This made me feel a bit uncomfortable as I’ve been bitten in bali, but it was ok.

El Barrio was perfect! The location is down a dirt road but easily central to everything! The location was everything. The room was sparkly clean, & the bed was so comfortable with amazing smelling sheets! Communication was great and seamless. I will definitely be back soon

The rooms are so clean and nice the pool is big ,view are absolutely beautiful, kitchen and living room is my favorite part of the villa ,you can watch all the movies on Netflix there. Good place to relax during the holidays,highly recommend

Really love staying at this place. Very colorful, aesthetic , every spot/corners are so pretty. We love how clean the room and the bathroom are. Even though the room is a bit small, some more few spaces would make the stay much more comfortable. But we love the shower, the beds, the pools. Feels like we are not at Bali/indonesia. Communication with the Villa is really smooth. And they are very responsive.

Had such a great stay here. The staff were all incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The place was consistently spotless and very well maintained throughout our stay. Security were also super attentive, which made us feel really safe and comfortable the whole time. Such a lovely atmosphere overall.

Absolutely everything about this stay was beautiful. From the moment you step into the entrance, you can see that every detail has been thoughtfully designed. The space is not only stunning but also super clean. The bathroom is fully equipped with shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner, which was a lovely touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Truly a fantastic stay 🙏🏼 I would recommend it to everyone and would happily return.
Fijne plek, heerlijk de gekleurde huisjes. Dichtbij restaurants. Heeeeerlijk bed. Fijne vibe. Super lief personeel! Helpen met alles. Geen koelkastje aanwezig, geen buitenzitje bij je kamer, omgeving vond ik niet zo bijzonder.

Lovely place enough for two people! aesthetically pleasing, but also well maintained. it’s very quiet and peaceful as it is at the end of the road. the only complaint is that the road leading to the hotel is not the most safe as it’s a narrow, gravel path and has a lot of dogs and random ducks and chickens lingering around most of the time, but it’s something that can’t be changed.

Wonderful stay! I was very pleased to stay here. Host was very friendly and very flexible with me. I had to find a last minute place to stay due to my flight getting canceled which messed up all my plans, this host was very kind to work with me and my check in…I didn’t check in till midnight lol and he made sure I got in safely and that everything was okay in my room. Room gets very cold with the AC which was very very nice, I didn’t expect it to get that cold. Food was amazing and coconut water was very fresh.

One of my favourite places I’ve stayed in, caught myself hanging out near the pool frequently. The reception Gday was so helpful and lovely, extremely attentive and allowed me to check in early and check out late and even allowed me change rooms purely for the colour and delivered & collected my laundry ! Noise is great, no construction or nightclubs very quiet

Gede was so wonderful and super responsive! He was so accommodating the entire time of my stay. Unfortunately there was a bit of a musty smell but probably due to the climate. Everything was clean for a villa. Rooms are small but well maintained and decorated.
De foto’s liegen er niet om, El Barrio is prachtig! Vooraf had Gede al contact opgenomen, waardoor alles heel gemakkelijk verliep. Ik mocht zelfs kiezen welke kleur kamer ik wilde, ik koos voor de roze 💕De kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien, heerlijke douche, goed bed. Sfeervol en stylish. Alles is keurig verzorgd en de staff heel vriendelijk. De weg naar de locatie is een beetje ‘rommelig’ er wordt in de omgeving volop gebouwd en de werklieden wonen in de ‘hutjes’. Daar heb je overigens geen last van, maar verwacht geen chique straat! Je kunt bij de locatie zelf tegen betaling ontbijten of lunchen. Op loopafstand zit 7 AM, waar je ook heerlijk de dag kan starten. Wil je verder weg, zorg dan voor vervoer. De locatie is niet in het hart van Canggu. Maar wat mij betreft écht een aanrader.

This place not only beautiful in the exterior but they think of the little details. BEST BED I have found the last 3 weeks in Bali. I will come back genuinely only for the MOST COMFORTABLE BED! The room is so very cozy, got everything you ever need, the vibe is so quiet and peaceful, I spent the whole day just chilling by the pool.

The place is IG-worthy, clean, free of clutter and the manager who assisted us is very accommodating. I just wish that there is someone who stays in the front desk area 24 hours for added security of travellers staying there. But all in all, we enjoyed our stay in El Barrio. Would reco this place to my friends who will visit Bali in the future.

Seneng banget nginep di Elbarrio, karena kamarnya ga terlalu banyak, jadi kaya private house aja rasanya. Suasananya tenang, staff-nya super ramah dan baik, lokasinya juga enak deket sama liga tennis dan restaurant terkenal. Deff will be back!

Because I was feeling burnt out, I decided to take a short escape from the daily grind. Eventually, I chose to stay at Elbarrio, and it turned out to be a truly refreshing experience. The location was incredibly peaceful, surrounded by a calm and serene environment that instantly helped me relax. The aesthetic of the place was also very pleasing — thoughtfully designed with artistic touches that created a cozy and visually charming atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the hospitality. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming me warmly and making sure all my needs were met throughout my visit. I was also pleasantly surprised to be allowed an early check-in, which made the whole experience even more convenient and enjoyable. Shout out to “Gede Sumargita” Spending the night there felt like a perfect reset. The quiet ambiance, combined with the beautiful surroundings and excellent service, made for a truly satisfying stay. Overall, highly recommended

We had a great 3-night stay at El Barrio in the Pink Cabana. The hotel is seriously Insta-worthy - every corner is photo-ready, and you honestly can’t take a bad shot. It’s well maintained, in a perfect location, and the staff were genuinely lovely. Huge thanks for accommodating our request for the pink room - it made the stay even more special. Sehr schöne und stylische Unterkunft! Tolle Leute, sehr hilfsbereit! Der Look der Anlage ist wirklich toll und die Zimmer sehr schick. Einzig zu beachten ist, dass die Zimmer wirklich recht klein sind und auch etwas dunkel durch die satten Farben. Die Lage ist wirklich toll! Kleine ruhige Straße abseits des Trubels von Umalas, aber alles fußläufig erreichbar.
Очень красивый нетривиальный отель! У нас было поздние заселение, нас без проблем встретили, проводили до номера. Мне хотелось другой цвет домика и нам его заменили с утра. Спасибо вам за это. Персонал очень отзывчивый и приятный в общении. В ванной комнате днём очень красиво падает солнце!

Echt een perfecte boutique hotel. Gede en zijn team waren echt zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze hielpen ons met alles en alle vragen werden heel snel beantwoord. Echt super bedankt Gede en team van El Barrio Boutique hotel. Wij komen zeker terug! Ook de communicatie met House of Reservations was perfect. We hebben een extra nacht bijgeboekt en dit was binnen een minuut geregeld. Dit is de 4e keer dat we via House of Reservations ons verblijf hebben geboekt en altijd 100% tevreden. Ons volgende verblijf in Bali boeken we zeker weer via House of Reservations.
Very lovely place with all the beautiful colors and cute designs! The bed is very comfortable as everyone says… wish I could have more time to stay there. Would definitely come back!!

Found a hidden gem in Umalas ❤️ Really nice place, very aesthetic and not your typical and usual Bali minimalist villa/accom. The only downside is that it’s deep hidden in a small unpaved road with lots of construction and workers surrounding the area (they play loud music too sometimes) though not the property’s fault. Once inside, it’s quiet and peaceful. The staff also leaves at 8PM, and they don’t have security staff and leave the front door open which made me a bit iffy since i was a solo female traveller. The place is one of a kind!! Value for money as well. I would like to commend the two Gede’s for being so kind and welcoming!

This place is both comfortable and beautiful. Although the room was a bit small, the design was unique and aesthetically pleasing. There’s also a restaurant and a shared pool, perfect for relaxing. Bli Gede, who welcomed me, was very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. There are plenty of great photo spots around the property, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it an ideal place to unwind and recharge. The location is also very strategic — surrounded by cafes and restaurants, most of which are within walking distance. I’d be more than happy to stay here again in the future.

The space is lovely and well maintained. The colours are so vibrant! We loved our room and the bathroom especially. It is small, but it’s as expected from the photos. The pool is pretty small but the surrounding area is very relaxed. Daily room service which was nice!
An outstanding stay with extraordinary value for money. The location is excellent, allowing easy access to everything. The host was extremely responsive and provided very useful recommendations, which made a real difference. The bed linen was exceptional — offering rare comfort and truly restful sleep. Such a cute Airbnb with the most comfy beds I stayed at my whole trip in Bali for a month I stayed for two nights best sleep I had. Such a cute set up with the colours everywhere. Small rooms but enough space for solo traveller and for two is fine also. Would stay again!

The cutest little boutique hotel. The bedroom was clean and the bed extremely comfortable! Very close to Canggu and easily accessible via motorbike. Wish we stayed longer!
I booked this hotel for the second time here in Bali and I loved it! The colours, the pool, the music, especially the lovely staff! Would def recommend this stay! Really worth the money!

Incroyable !! J’ai adoré le séjour passé dans cet hôtel. Le lieux est magique et dépaysant. J’avais la chambre purple, elle était très belle, super déco et leur parfum d’ambiance était top ! Les personnes qui travaillent ici sont d’une gentillesse sans pareille. Des petits restaurants à côté sont accessibles à pieds. Très triste d’avoir dû partir, j’y serai bien restée encore !!
