Exploring Luxurious Guest House - Close to everything left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Luxurious Guest House - Close to everything was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Sanur plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Luxurious Guest House - Close to everything painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Een fijn huis op een prima locatie, met een geweldige warung voor de deur. Het huis werd heel goed schoongemaakt, wekelijks, incl vervangen handdoeken en beddengoed. Dit was fijn, maar in Bali hadden we op alle andere plekken biuna dagelijkse schoonmaak. Wat we wat prettiger vonden. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en lief voor onze kids. Wij hebben hier een maand verbleven met 2 kleine kids (baby 8 maand en kind 3,5 jaar). Het zwembad met duikplank, de vijver met visjes en grote oprit om te spelen en fietsen was top voor onze zoon. De prachtige maar krakende vloer boven wat onhandiger met de baby. Helaas wel veel muggen rondom het huis, zowel overdag als savonds waardoor we er wat minder van konden genieten. Qua locatie prima. Met scooter ben je in 8-10 min op het strand. Je moet hiervoor wel de drukke straat oversteken. Op loopafstand enkele goede warungs, wel een vrij drukke straat dus beter met scooter. Al met al bedankt!

The guesthouse was lovely—large, and super clean just like the pics. The pool was great. Location is peaceful, it’s out of the main tourist area and beach but this has its benefits, and there were some great warungs and local businesses near by. Deta was very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

예상보다 깨끗하고 가족친화적이었습니다. 좋았던 점은 부엌에 깨끗한 도구들과 시원한 냉장고가 있어 요리하기 좋았었고, 잘 관리된 시설, 넷플릭스가 설치된 티비, 사진에 나와있지 않은 트램벌린, 무료 자전거 렌탈이었습니다. 예상과 달랐던 점은 주인이 같은 건물에 함께 지낸다는 것이었고(이 부분은 원하는 것을 바로 해결해줄 수 있어 장점이 될수도, 약간의 눈치가 보인다는 측면에서 단점이 될 수도 있습니다), 에어콘은 2층 침실에만 달려있어 1층은 약간 덥다는 것입니다(통풍이 잘되고 선풍기가 있어 아주 덥진 않습니다.)

친절한 호스팅과 세심함에 감탄하며 17일을 보냈습니다. 집은 매우 좋았어요. 저희는 아이들이 아직 어린 2,4살인데 방이 모두 2층에 있으므로 계단오르내리기에 조금 신경이 쓰였습니다. 걸으면 나무바닥에서 삐걱삐걱 소리가 나기도 하고요. 부엌용품들은 조금 수선이 필요해보이는 것들도 있습니다. 청소는 일주일에 한번씩 이루어지고 수건이 매일 교체되진 않아요. 주인분 가정과 바로 붙은 옆집으로 조금 신경이 쓰이기도 했습니다. 그럼에도불구하고 친절한 호스팅식구들에게 정말 감동하였습니다. 다시방문해도 또 다시 묵을 의사가 있습니다! 사랑해요!

おすすめの滞在場所。リビングルームも広くべランダを抜けてプールがあり、リラックスできます。すぐ近くにdapur deliという、超おすすめのレストランがあり、朝食場所として最高です。

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! 🌿✨ The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The villa has a huge, beautiful pool and a gorgeous garden that is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. 🏊‍♀️🌺 The location is also fantastic—close to everything you need, making it very convenient to explore the area. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!

Fantastisch verblijf. Erg rustig gelegen met heerlijke tuin met privaat zwembad. De springtoren was een geweldige troef. Maar vooral ook de vriendelijkheid van gastheer en gastvrouw. We kwamen midden en nacht toe, de taxi was vantevoren door hen geregeld. Ansolute aanrader als u in sanur in rust wil verblijven.

We had a wonderful month staying at Margit's beautiful guesthouse. It really was a 'home from home' for our family of four. Our kids loved the pool and especially the jumping platforms. The house was comfortable and the location was convenient for exploring Sanur. It's great having the fantastic Dapur Deli right on the doorstep for good coffees, snacks and smoothies. We really appreciated the warm welcome from Margit and all of the local recommendations. We were made to feel very welcome :)

We absolutely loved our stay at Margit’s place, we found it very hard to leave and say goodbye. Our kids absolutely loved the pool every day, the diving boards are a great touch. We were a little worried about our 1 year old with the pool and steps inside but the pool is so beautifully designed, he was very safe there. He did fall down the steps once inside though which was very scary! The neighbourhood is so great, Dapur Deli is a beautiful Warung right outside the villas driveway. Didis and Rama Sita were soo yummy and great value - only a few mins walking. Irene Pittman right next door did great massages. We literally felt like we had everything we needed right where we were! Margit was always so helpful with recommendations which we were so grateful for. Especially our driver / guide we used to get up to Amed. All in all, no complaints, just bring mosquito repellent and be careful at dawn and dusk out if you are likely to be bitten. 10 stars for this beautiful host + home ✨

Fijn huisje op een goeie locatie, op loopafstand van diverse restaurants. Extra pluspunt dat we fietsen mochten lenen! Er is een relaxte sfeer waardoor je je snel thuis voelt. De eigenaren wonen in het huis direct ernaast, hoewel je dus niet de volledige privacy hebt, vonden wij dat geen enkel probleem. Een heel fijn verblijf!

Wij hebben de laatste paar dagen van ons verblijf op Bali het genoegen gehad om in dit fijne appartement te verblijven. De kinderen hebben ontzettend genoten van het zwembad en de springtoren. Het huis is goed uitgerust, gezellig en schoon. Een fijne uitvalsbasis voor onze laatste dagen op Bali. Ik begrijp goed dat dit appartement ook wordt gehuurd door mensen die langer blijven, want het voelt echt als een huisje. De bedden slapen heerlijk en er is weinig geluid van scooters, hanen of honden, wat op Bali best uitzonderlijk is :) Dank voor het fijne verblijf en het allerbeste!

Everything from the communication to the amenities was amazing. We had a great villa stay and the backyard was peaceful and had a great pool. The hosts were very welcoming and happy to sit down and chat with us. We had questions on locations to visit and she recommended to us great places. We were able to do great shopping and have a very warm and welcome stay. 10/10 I would very much recommend this stay. Sanur is very calm and a peaceful place.

3 weken met vrouw hier verbleven ons huis was fantastisch ingericht stijlvol, dat kan ook niet anders met een stijlvolle host. mooie tuin met een prachtig zwembad . uitzicht over de rijstvelden en een rust. Margit onze gastvrouw is fantastisch een stijlvolle en vriendelijke gastvrouw, behulpzaam . en verantwoordelijk voor inrichting en de tuin echt fantastisch. de schoonmaak ploeg is werkelijk geweldig alles tot in details schoon gehouden. het klikte meteen met Margit en haar echtgenoot. ook een mooie man waarmee je meteen een band hebt. gastvrijheid is hun motto. ik hoop nogeens terug te komen

We had a great stay! Location was great. The warung just around the corner serves good breakfast. Our kids loved the kidsplace nearby. Communication with Deta was great, lovely house and very clean. You could easily relax by the pool and have a good dive!

We had a great stay as a family here. Some nice local places nearby, availability of bicycles to explore Sanur area and grand place to unwind.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft total wohl gefühlt! Besonders der Pool mit Sprungturm hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Besitzerin hat uns mit Tipps für die Umgebung super weitergeholfen. Der Strand in Sanur ist nicht weit entfernt, was uns auch sehr gefallen hat.

Très bon accueil, les hôtes sont très gentils et de très bon conseil. Le logement est très propre, on s’y sent comme chez soit. L’extérieur ainsi que la piscine sont très agréables. Et bon emplacement géographique. Si nous revenons à Bali, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Great place for families. They have a lot of toys for the children. We had a 2 year old and a baby of 4 months. The 2 year old loved the place. The pool area is great. It’s a bit far from the city centre but with grab you are there for 1-2€ and only 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic so we didn’t mind. Wouldn’t recommend walking. There is a great warung just outside the gate of the villa. We had breakfast there every morning.

Staying at this beautiful Sanur guesthouse was an absolute dream! The space itself is gorgeous, roomy, and super comfortable, with a serene pool and garden that made every moment so relaxing. But what really made our trip special was Margit, our host. She was incredibly friendly, warm, and went out of her way to make sure we felt at home. Wir haben unsere Zeit im Guesthouse sehr genossen. Neben der sauberen und stilvoll eingerichteten Unterkunft waren wir von der freundlichen und herzlichen Art der Gastgeberin sehr angetan. Magrit zeigte sich offen, hilfsbereit und sehr flexibel. Wir würden gerne ein weiteres Mal zu Gast sein!

Quel accueil! Tout était absolument parfait! Magrit et Michel nous ont accueilli si bien. On ressent leur plaisir à recevoir leurs guests. Merci à vous 2. Leur propriété est magnifique et si paisible. L’énorme piscine et les équipements autour sont un must. La maison a été parfaite pour nos filles et nous: grande, spacieuse, équipée de tout ce qu’il faut (nous n’avons jamais cuisiné car il y a d’excellents warungs à côté - nous conseillons Rama Sita +++. Mais pour ceux qui veulent cuisiner il y a absolument tout ce dont il y a besoin. Allez y les yeux fermés!

A lovely spot in Sanur! We loved the pool and Deta was very helpful. The location is a little away from the main area however this is not an issue and easy to get in.

Deta was so kind and an excellent host! The pool was so clean and spacious, and the house was beautifully comfortable, close to many shops and excellent, affordable restaurants.

Deta's place is fabulous, a little oasis on a busy street. The place is spacious, clean, and -- so important to us -- quiet. Deta helped in many ways and answered our questions immediately. The pool is gorgeous, and the AC in the bedrooms and living room was strong. We walked to nearby restaurants and the ocean, but Grab taxis are everywhere if needed. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic 5-night stay as a family (2 adults + 6-year-old). The apartment is beautiful, full of character, stylishly furnished, and spread over two floors with direct access to a large, well-maintained shared pool. It feels private and peaceful, even with a few other guests and the lovely owners around. The whole place is perfect for relaxing: calm, quiet, and tucked away from the street. Great location too: a fantastic breakfast café right next door, a spa next to it, and a small shop just 100m away. Margit, one of the owners, was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly - she arranged affordable airport transport, got us a scooter, and shared great tips. AC works in two of the three rooms at a time, and the pool is shared, but it’s big and almost all the time was empty. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in style.

Een klein stukje hemel op aarde Al op het moment dat je door het hek stapt, voel je het: rust. Alsof Bali zelf even ademhaalt en je uitnodigt om mee te zakken in stilte, in ruimte, in zijn. Misschien zijn het de bomen. Of de bloemen. Of het kabbelende water van het zwembad in die prachtige kleur blauw. Misschien is het alles samen. De plek is verzorgd tot in detail, authentiek en ruim. Je merkt aan alles dat hier over nagedacht is. De huizen voelen als thuis, de tuin is een kleurenfeest en het internet is zó goed dat ik moeiteloos sessies kon geven aan mijn mensen in Nederland én aan de vrouwen die hier op retreat kwamen. En dan die combinatie: je hebt alle privacy én voelt je gedragen. De mensen zijn vriendelijk, aanwezig zonder op te vallen, en laten je precies de ruimte ervaren die je nodig hebt. Alsof dat nog niet genoeg is, is er ook nog Dapur Deliy: een fijn plekje in betoverend turkoois, met heerlijke gerechten en net zulke fijne mensen. Een plek waar je niet weg hoeft.

Wir haben bei Margrit vier wunderschöne Wochen verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und der Pool mit dem Garten sind wirklich ein Highlight. Margit hat uns gleich zu Beginn aber auch während des Aufenthalts immer wieder super Tipps gegeben (z.B. zu Restaurants oder Freizeitgestaltung) und hat sich einfach insgesamt toll gekümmert. Wir haben uns bei ihr sehr wohl gefühlt und werden uns an den Aufenthalt bei ihr als an etwas ganz Besonderes erinnern. Unser Fünfjährige war genauso wie wir sehr angetan von dieser kinderfreundlichen und lieben Gastgeberin.

We stayed for 4,5 weeks at Margit’s guesthouse and had a wonderful time. The house is even nicer than the pictures suggest. We have a 3 year old toddler and a 10 month old baby who is crawling and exploring, so for us the safety for our children was important. We were grateful for the babygate that Margit had installed especially for us. We found the house to be very comfortable and clean; It has everything that we needed. You can open everything up and let the breeze go through the house, or keep everything closed and stay in the airco to cool down. The garden is beautiful with an amazing pool. The WiFi connection is good and fast in case you need to work from home. Dapur Deli in the beginning of the alley has good western food. And if you’re traveling with children we can also recommend de Kidz Café down the street. The household staff are lovely and were very sweet with our children. The communication with Margit was very good, she responds very quickly.

Our second stay here and we will book again for next year! We love it because it is only $1.40 by grab bike to get to the heart of Sanur for the beach, restaurants and new Icon Shopping Mall which has a brilliant supermarket and food options. But the villa itself is like being in the countryside located next to a beautiful peaceful rice field. At the end of the driveway is Dapur Deli catering to Westerners with great coffee and yogurt and milk for sale. Next to that is Irene Pitman Hair Salon and Spa where we went for massages, facials and reflexology.. A little oasis in busy Sanur. Tip - if there are more than four of you they have a breathtaking joglo for rent also in the grounds. Oops forgot to mention the huge deep pool and immaculate gardens!

Много полезных советов от нее были бесценны. Нам очень понравилась территория. Завтраков с красными карпами и прыжки с вышки остались у нас в сердце. Если возникали какие-то бытовые проблемы Маргит помогала решать. Было не привычно именно для нас, что это часть дома, а не отдельное жилье, но через пару дней это стало изюминкой пребывания. Рядом кафе с вкусной едой, так же за углом один из лучших матчей в Санур. Рекомендую всем!

This is one those places that feel like a home away from home. The hosts are very friendly, open and very quick in responding to our queries. The garden is beautiful and well maintained and the house is cleaned very thoroughly. It is clear the hosts put in the extra effort, the house is very well furnished and really everything you need is available. There is a great pool and the whole place just breathes peace and tranquility. For us the location was very convenient due to the proximity of the kids' daycare, but it is not the most lively neighborhood. However, the beach, most restaurants and larger supermarkets are just a short ride away. Only downside for us were the mosquitos, probably due to the proximity of multiple water sources. Could be this was just the time of year though, if you take care it is very manageable to keep them outside. All in all, we have had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend!

This Airbnb is fully deserving of its near 5 star rating. At the start, being extremely sensitive to the heat, I found the place very uncomfortable as the living area did not have air conditioning. After voicing out my discomfort to Margit, she offered to let me go at a loss to herself. But I couldn’t find anywhere else and decided to make do. Margit actually went and got air conditioning installed in the living area to help make my stay more comfortable!! She really did not have to but this is how much she cares about every guest that stays at her accommodation. I can see that she has a great heart and airbnb was made for people like her. We really enjoyed our stay and she made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Margit and her family were the most beautiful hosts inside and out. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️

The stay here was fantastic! This was our first accommodation during a 3-month trip, and we're glad it was. It's so clean that there are hardly any insects inside (unique in Bali), and the surrounding beautiful garden is maintained daily. It's clear that the host family, living next to the accommodation, enjoys renting it out. They are happy to assist with any requests you have. The host family's grandchildren also sometimes came by to play in the pool, which was very cozy for our daughter to have a playmate. Compared to the Airbnbs we've seen (5 in total), this is absolutely the most beautiful and clean. As a suggestion (I believe you should always provide one), I would recommend an option for a mosquito net in the bedroom to fend off mosquitoes. The neighborhood is also great; right outside the door is a good and affordable Western restaurant where you can order via Gojek for pickup. thanks for your guidece and hospitality!

We stayed at this wonderful Sanur apartment for a month and it truly became a home away from home. Attached to the owner's house but very private (with its own entrance), the apartment is full of beautiful Indonesian wooden furniture and artworks, while the garden (with fish pond in the front and large swimming pool in the back) is beautifully maintained. With a desk and a fast wifi connection it's perfect for remote work, and it's also ideal for families – our four year old loved splashing about in the pool. It's such a clean and comfortable place; we all slept so well. While it's a really quiet area – no nighttime noise and a view of rice fields – there's a great cafe located right next door, an excellent spa a minute's walk away and a kids' club just down the road. Margit, her family and her staff members were fantastic hosts – we enjoyed their company and appreciated their advice and contacts. We already miss it and will dream of returning one day!

If you're seeking a homely and secure place to stay in Sanur, a great location not far from the beach but still in a quiet area, then I highly recommend this place. FYI, the property is in a residential area, sharing the same owner with the main house (where the owner resides) and two joglos (1-bedroom wooden houses). The house we stayed in is exceptionally spacious, spanning two floors with two large bedrooms and many windows. Our kids loved the kids' room, which is actually a living room (just ask the owner to set it up as a bedroom), thanks to its large window and beautiful view. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there's a comfortable working desk, making it a perfect place for remote work. The people here are wonderful. Deta is very pleasant, quiet, and helpful. Living next to them actually made us feel even safer. Habibi and Mbak Pembantu are also very friendly and helpful. Another highlight is the swimming pool – it's not only large but also incredibly beautiful.

Just stop looking and book here if it’s available before someone else grabs it first - you won’t be sorry! It’s not on the beach but it’s only a few minutes on a grab scooter for 50 cents to get there or $2.50 grab car and the serenity and view of nature in the beautiful yard is a whole lot better away from the Sanur strip.Great cafe at the end of the driveway, small supermarket a few minutes walk. Deta and her son Paul are a dream team - so friendly, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Paul was an amazing translator and go to guy for us. We are booking again for next year.

Wir hatten eib super Aufenthalt! Wirklich empfehlenswert, wenn man s ruhig mag (kein Straßenlärm oder Hähne in der Nähe), aber trotzdem zentral. Fußläufig gibt es ein sehr leckeres Warung bei dem wir immer frühstücken waren (Warung Dapur Deli), sodass man nicht kochen muss, wenn man nicht will. Für unseren Sohn wurde sogar extra ein Babybett organisiert! Laundry Service direkt ab Haustür innerhalb eines Tages. Die Wohnung war die sauberste während unserer einmonatigen Reise durch Bali und Lombok. Die geschlossene Bauweise verhindert, dass Insekten oder Tiere in die Wohnräume gelangen. Der Pool ist richtig toll und ist sehr warm, sodass man lange planschen kann. Wichtig zu wissen: Klimaanlage gibt es nur in den beiden Schlafzimmern. Im Wohnraum gibt es einen Deckenventilator. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Il n'y a pas suffisamment d'étoiles pour évaluer correctement le logement de Deta. La maison est très agréable, bien décorée, bien aménagée, on s'y sent très bien tout de suite. Ce fut un réel bonheur pour moi d'y passer quelques jours. Le jardin et sa piscine sont paradisiaques, nous nous sommes baignés le plus souvent possible en ayant conscience de vivre un moment exceptionnel. Et le petit warung à proximité qui fait plus que dépanner. Merci pour ce séjour !

La casa, el jardí i la piscina són fantástics. La cuina està súper ben equipada i et pots sentir amb totes les comoditats com a casa. Els propietaris viuen al costat, són molt amables i hospitalaris, sempre atents a qualsevol petició. La casa es troba a Sanur, poblacio localizada al costat de Denpasar i a prop de l’aeroport. Felt so relaxed and margrit was available when we needed her. Very friendly and provided extra help when I was feeling unwell. The children absolutely loved the pool. The house was spotless clean and beds were very comfortable. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts. The children have been spoiled and have rated your home the best of the holiday. Best wishes 😊

Our family, two adults and two teenagers from Sweden, had a fabulous time in Deta’s house in Sanur. This is a nicely decorated, spacious and highly functional accommodation. It has a wonderful garden and a really nice swimming pool. We spent three weeks there and wish we could have stayed longer. Great value for money and highly recommended.

We stayed at this villa for four weeks as a family of four. The place is easy to find in a great location for getting around but still quiet without the noises of traffic. We instantly felt very welcome and at home as there is everything and more that you need for a stay. Margit and Michelle from next door were always helpful and fun to chat with. We would have loved to stay even longer if we didn't have plans to continue traveling... We highly recommend this villa! ❤️

We had a great stay! The apartment is exactly as advertised, the view is great, and Deta and her husband are very nice and helpful. Despite the (beautiful) pool and backyard being shared with the host, they made us feel very welcome in that space. We spent some nice days just relaxing by the pool. They also helped us arrange a scooter rental, and we borrowed their bicycles as well. Thank you for the lovely airbnb!

We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad. Fijn verblijf met prachtige tuin en mooi zwembad. Alles erg goed onderhouden en schoon. Margit is erg behulpzaam en staat altijd klaar voor een praatje of hulp. Centraal gelegen en heerlijke warung (Dapur Deli) op een paar meter lopen. Zullen normaal gesproken niet snel nog een keer naar hetzelfde adres gaan maar hier willen we graag nog een keer verblijven! Aanrader :)

Great place to stay, not far from the airport (10 minute drive) and great beaches 5 minute drive away with a lot of restaurants to go with it. The host was very responsive and helpful, the place was very clean and gardens were lovely.

Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad bij het Luxurious Guesthouse van Margit. Bij aankomst moesten we even zoeken, maar eenmaal aangekomen is het helemaal duidelijk. We werden ontvangen door Margit die behoorlijk wat talen machtig is (fijn!) De Guesthouse zit aan de woning van de verhuurder vast met aan de achterkant een groot zwembad. Toch heb je genoeg privacy in je woning en voel je je op je gemak. De foto's van de woning zelf zijn accuraat en overall ziet het er super uit. Om de hoek van het Guesthouse zit een uitstekend restaurantje waar je goed kunt ontbijten. Naar het strand moet je met een Taxi, met de app GRAB is dat snel en goedkoop geregeld. Sanur zelf is rustig en uitstekend voor gezinnen met kleine kinderen. Wanneer wij nogmaals in Bali komen nemen we het luxurious Guesthouse zeker weer mee als optie. Bedankt voor de goede zorgen.

We booked two weeks but ended up staying five weeks in the end. And I believe we're not the first guests who are hard to get rid of :p. Margits place is just amazing as well as her hosting skills. She's very warm and welcoming and just understands what every family member needs to have a comfortable stay. We arrived late so she had a driver arranged for us, food and a cold beer. We're a family of 4 with two young kids. The place itself is family friendly. The extra bedroom is great and the kids love the pool. Margit helped us rent a babycot and highchair. Around the corner is kids club where you can send your little ones (1-4 years) "to school" in the mornings. You can stay as well to read a book or get some laptop work done. Ideal for longer stays!

We enjoyed stay at the villa. Communication with owner was great, he took a good care of us. Place was really clean and nice designed. Garden is so beautiful and the pool is pretty big. For sure we come back in the future.

We hebben een topverblijf gehad, de beste manier om onze reis op Bali aan te vangen. Het huis is heerlijk ruim, netjes en voorzien van alle gemakken. De ligging is goed. Het ligt in een leuk, rustig, meer ‘echt’ stukje Sanur, op (korte) fietsafstand van het strandgedeelte waar het merendeel van de toeristen verblijft. Wat ons betreft een dikke plus! Erg fijn dat er fietsen tot onze beschikking waren. We hadden een erg late check-in, maar Paul zorgde dat alles perfect in orde was bij aankomst. Aanrader!!

We loved staying at this house. it was a wonderful experience :). We were able to work and enjoy the pool freely. Everything was always kept clean and the hosts welcoming. Right in the corner outside there is a nice little restaurant with perfect coffee.

Deta‘s House is wonderful, very comfy with high quality interior with everything you need!! We stayed here with a family of four. The location is perfect. Sanur beach is nearby and you just have „Dapur Deli“ one minute away, where you can take breakfast as well as all other meals, which I can highly recommend! Deta is a super host and let us feel like home!

Fijn schoon huis is een rustige wijk van Sanur. Het eet tentje om de hoek had heerlijke gerechten. We vonden het leuk om de fietsen te lenen. Het zwembad was fantastisch en de duikplanken waren een grote verrassing.

A very nice house/appartment, in a very quiet neighbourhood. we were a family of 4 staying at Margits place, and we had enough space, and enjoyed the great kitchen, garden and pool. Our kids loved the pool, and playing with Margits grandchildren, when they were visiting. Very warm and "homey" feeling. we borrowed a bike, and rented a scooter to get around easier. We also used Grab/Gojek many times, it worked perfectly. The small cafe in the street was very nice to have around. There is about 1-2 km to the beach area,and you need to cross a big road, so walking is not recommended, rent a scooter/bike or use Grab/gojek to get around, its very cheap! Margit and her family are all very friendly and helpfull. We had a wonderful stay in almost a month.

We had an amazing time staying at Margit's guesthouse. She's a fantastic host - kind, friendly, helpful and makes sure that everything is just right for your stay. The house has everything you need. If you like the pictures and want to stay in the Sanur area, let me save you a couple of hours - just go ahead and book this guesthouse. You won't regret it :) Our 2 year old son loved the pool and the little fish pond. And there's a fabulous deli right next to the house. We ate breakfast and lunch there every day. It's perfect if you're a vegetarian/vegan or just want to eat something healthy or light. Overall, can't recommend enough :)

Thank you so much for the great stay! The appartement was amazing: comfortable and realy beautiful. I loved the cosy mattress, the great aircon and the good internet connection around the hole house. The garden area was lovely. A big pool surrounded by wonderful flora. A nice quiet place to relax. We were offered a great service. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of precious information and suggestions. So were the staff members who also spoke good English. It was perfect that the location is colse to the beach and in a good starting position for any tours around Bali. We can highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to exploire the island or just relaxe and recharge from everyday life. We are definitely comming back and are looking forward to seeing you all again!!

Beautiful place not even 10 mins from the sanur beach and only 20k IDR cab ride away with the local apps. The place its self is as stylish as advertised and the family that owns the place is super peaceful and easy to talk to if you need anything.

Дом супер комфортный, все продумано до мелочей: удобная (!!!) кровать, приятные запахи, большие чистые комнаты с отличной мебелью, кухня со всеми необходимыми принадлежностями. Бассейн прекрасный: чистый, разноуровневый. Есть беседка для отдыха или медитаций. За восемь ночей, что мы провели на этой вилле, у нас даже не возникло желания ее покинуть, хотя мы так-то всей семьей очень активные путешественники. Отдельное внимание засуживают хозяева: очень интеллигентные, всегда готовые прийти на помощь, подсказать. Рядом с домом находится кафе с очень вкусной едой и недорогими ценами. Ребята, если вы ищете себе хорошее жильё, и присматриваетесь к этому дому, бронируйте! Это реально сокровище! Когда наш срок брони подошёл к концу, было невероятен жаль уезжать из этого дома, с тех пор мы сменили несколько домов в разных частях острова, но нигде ещё нам не было так хорошо! Рекомендую всем от всего сердца!

Жилье полностью соответствует фотографиям. Очень зелёная территория, много растений и цветов. Красиво и уютно. Есть все необходимое из посуды и техники. Кондиционеры есть в каждой спальне. В столовой нет кондиционера,есть вентилятор, но так везде на Бали. Хозяйка очень отзывчивая и готова во всем помочь. Она живет по соседству, это даёт ощущение безопасности жилья. Есть велосипеды, которыми можно бесплатно пользоваться, подойдут даже для людей с детьми. Рядом находится хорошее кафе для завтраков. До моря можно доехать на велосипеде за 10 -15 минут.

This villa was more beautiful in person! So clean and looks exactly like the pictures! Deta was very nice, friendly and responded quickly to everything before and during our trip! She provided everything in regards to wash rags, towels and pool towels, but if you plan on going to the beach, make sure you bring along your own. Its close enough to a lot of places and also has a cute little deli/restaurant right next to it. Deta offered a private pickup from the airport but when we traveled with Grab/Go Jeck it was still easy for our drivers to find us. We’ve already recommended this place to a bunch of our friends! My fiancé definitely will be back, maybe for our honeymoon! :)

Though a bit off the beaten path, the house itself is great. It’s small so good only for couple or small family but very peaceful and quite. Great cafe just outside (Dapur Deli) and a laundry service next to that. The bikes available are handy but would want to rent a scooter to get around the area more.

Very nice and proper accomodation. We loved the quiet neighbourhoud, kindness and recommondation for Deta. If you want to go to the center of Sanur you can easily take a grab or taxi. Very healthy and good breakfast Just 100m walking and good diner possibilities with your own kitchen, gojek or the center not far away.

We (a family of 2 adults and 2 children) spent two weeks in Margit's house and it was absolutely amazing. We really had the time of our life. The house is a dream - fully equipped, spacious, tastefully decorated with great views and the location is just perfect. Everything is taken care of. We loved swimming in the huge, beautiful, warm (!) pool embedded in a lush well-kept garden and hanging out on the beautiful terrace. It was truly picture-perfect. The house offers a central yet quiet location next to rice fields. It's perfectly hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the streets and we loved every minute being there. To get to the beach just grab a driver via Gojeck-app (remember to buy a phone card that you have to get registered) and he will be at your doorstep within minutes to take you wherever you want to go - at an incredible low price!! Plus you learn a lot about the people of Bali while driving since the drivers are always keen on chatting :-) The same way you can order food from one of the yummy warungs nearby - it's so easy and quick! Everything is in near distance - restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy - even a newly built hospital is nearby. There is a nice litte Deli literally just a few steps away where we had the best breakfasts (wonderful coffee!!). It takes a ten minutes drive to go to Sanur beach via car but there are also bikes that you can use. The location is also a perfect starting-point for daytrips to some beautiful beach spots a bit further away or to trips to the Islands (since Sanur harbor is not far away) or to Ubud ... There is so much to do and to enjoy! Margit was the best host one could wish for. She's an incredible friendly, charming lady and very helpful (She speaks Englisch, French and German fluently!). We very much enjoyed talking to her - our whole stay was such a pleasure (my kids would like to jump on an airplane right away and go back :-)) and we can highly recommend staying at Margit's beautiful house when you're in the Sanur area. When we go back to Bali we will definitely stay there again!!

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön und sauber - wie auf den Fotos. Die Kommunikation war, da die Gastgeberin auch deutsch spricht, natürlich sehr gut mit vielen Tipps. Wir war zu viert mit unseren Teenagern im Haus und es hat alles gut geklappt. Um die Ecke war gleich ein Warung mit einem hervorragenden Frühstück und ein Stückchen weiter das nächste köstliche Lokal. Von Vorteil war es, dass auch 4 Räder zur Verfügung gestellt wurden, mit denen wir schnell zu Lebensmittelgeschäften oder auch zum Strand fahren konnten. Sie ist wirklich ein Superhost und wir würden jederzeit wieder in ihrer Unterkunft wohnen.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön wie auf den Bildern abgebildet. Es gibt eine Mappe mit allen wichtigen Informationen und Tipps für Restaurants/Bars/Supermärkte uvm. Was wir im Voraus nicht wussten war, dass man den Pool/Garten mit der Gastgeberin und den Gästen der Bungalows teilt, aber das war kein Problem. Es gibt 4 Fahrräder mit denen man den Strand, Supermärkte oder Restaurants gut erreicht. Alles in Allem können wir die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten hier einen tollen Aufenthalt.

What a lovely place to relax and enjoy Sanur. The location was great, being only a short bicycle ride from the beach and great restaurants. There was also a great little cafe a few steps out the front door with amazing breakfast. Deta was an amazing host and was genuinely concerned with our stay being a comfortable and enjoyable one. She even added kid seats to the back of her bicycles so that our young family could use the bicycles, which was a highlight of our kids trip. Between the amazing pool, the koi pond and the bicycles, it was a great place for families. Highly recommend this place. If we make it back to Bali, it will be hard not to stay here again.

Deta's house is in one word perfect! We were there for four nights with our 2 kids of 4 and 6 years old and had a lovely stay and time being in her house. It's very luxurous and has everything you needed. The kids and we also loved the large swimming pool. Very big bonus were the bicycles with childseats. We bicycled through sanur and the see. Awsome! Thank you very much Deta, Dian en Jung. We wished we booked more nights:-))) and can recommended this house to everybody!

Отличная вилла для того чтобы начать свое путешествие по удивительному острову Бали. Именно так мы с моей семьёй и сделали. Достаточно близкое расположение к аэропорту позволило нам добраться до виллы в кратчайший срок и незамедлительно погрузиться в релакс после довольно утомительного перелета. Также в десяти минутной доступности на авто (байке) пляж Санур и все необходимые кафе и магазины. Ну и конечно сама вилла- отличное место для чиллаута. Приятный аутентичный дизайн холла на первом этаже с собственной кухней и двумя удобными спальнями и душом на втором этаже. Шикарный бассейн, лежаки, навес во внутреннем дворе. Дом разделен на 2 части в одной из которых жили мы, а в другой жила домовладелец Марджит и её семья, что кстати не вызвало никаких неудобных ситуаций для нас, а было плюсом, т.к. наше пребывание на Бали было впервые, то мы всегда могли обратиться за интересующей нас информацией и получить необходимую помощь, если возникали какие-то проблемы, за что очень им благодарны! :)

Arriving at this beautifull villa after two 10 hour flights was just the best feeling. Margit is lovely and she put so much love and thought into the building and garden. The villa is spacious and decorated in fine style. We felt right at home from the start. I loved swimming in the huge pool after a busy hot day. We grilled fish outdoors overlooking the rice fields under the shining moon whily tiny bats flew overhead. We sat chatting in the beautifully lit garden till late. Loved every moment at our house in Sanur. See you again x

Very nice villa to stay at. It was a bit far from the beach or other sights but very nice for relaxing and good for family and friends to stay together.

Margit was very kind and responsive before and throughout our stay at her house. She was helpful with providing tips on which beaches and restaurants to go to. Her house is stylishly decorated, comfortable and sparkling clean. We were even worried to accidentally break or make something dirty in this meticulously kept space. All in all, we had a pleasant stay there.

Our family of 4 - with two kids aged 8 & 11 - stayed at this fantastic guesthouse as our first point of entry to Bali and we couldn't have picked a better place. Not only was it spacious, spotlessly clean, beautiful and equipped with everything we needed, our host was a gem (thank you, Margit), and her staff incredibly sweet and kind (thank you, Jun). While not right on the beach, it took us only 5 minutes by taxi to get there and we were glad we were out of the hustle and bustle of the tourists and in a real community. At the end of the driveway was the most incredible warung, Warung Dapur Deli, serving up exceptional meals and delicious coffee with a focus on locally-sourced foods and sustainability. In the morning, my husband and I would let our kids do their thing while we went out on our bikes to explore and get some exercise, then we'd all take a plunge in the fabulous pool surrounded by a beautiful landscape of flowers and trees. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended, we had an amazing stay! Margit & Jun took great care of us, giving us tips for the best restaurants, organising transport to and from the airport and helping us out with anything we needed or questions we had. The house is spotless and the garden was absolutely beautiful! We couldn’t have wished for anything more. The cafe at the bottom of the drive was great, definitely recommend it. Margit has such a lovely welcoming family as well, we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay with Margit at her Luxurious Guesthouse, initally I was quite nervous how our 3 busy children would go in such a beautifully presented house, but once we settled in all was ok. Margit was present during most of our stay and super helpful with local tips and knowledge. Our kids loved spending time with her grandson in the pool. Stairs were of slight concern with very small children (our youngest is 22months) but as there is also an open pool we just made sure we kept a close eye on her at all times. Highly recommend this villa to friends and family.

You won’t be disappointed! Guesthouse is attached to host house however you do feel like you have you’re own privacy. Superb pool which is large and deep, great way to relax after a long day! Gardeners hard at work, but already looking immaculate even though incomplete. Plenty of attention to detail inside and out. Wonderful, modern, well priced cafe at the end of the driveway. Margit was quick to reply to any questions and happy to help arrange trips or transportation. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recommended.

Nice quiet space, great place to relax

I had a truly excellent stay at this guesthouse. Our host gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and offered to organize a taxi from the airport for a good price. The house is spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The garden outside is fantastic, well looked after and the pool is a good size too. There are also facilities for cooking, including a BBQ outside which we utilized. Couldn't recommend this anymore, great value for money.

This stay is very nice! When our car drove into the neighborhood, I was caught by the cozy environment, and was astonished when Margit showed us around the house with such a reasonable and local price. Everything was perfect. We felt so like at home. I wish we had stayed longer next time without a tight schedule.

Wir hatten in Sanur schöne entspannte 5 Tage und haben sie sehr genossen. Margit hat uns oft mit vielen Tipps, wie beispielsweise leckeren Restaurants oder saubreren und dennoch günstigen Massagestudios weitergeholfen. Man muss wissen, dass man mit Margit zusammen in einem Haus (aber in getrennten Wohnungen) lebt und sich somit den Garten und den Pool teilt. Uns war das vorher nicht bewusst, es hat uns aber auch nicht gestört, da Margit sehr sympathisch und gastfreundlich ist. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und exakt wir in den Fotos abgebildet, Alles in allem würden wir gerne wiederkommen.

Si vous démarrez votre voyage par quelques jours proche de l’aéroport afin de vous poser un peu comme nous venons de le faire, c'est l'adresse parfaite ! La prioritaire est très sympathique et très réactive sur les différents échanges. La maison est tres spatieuse et bien décorée. La piscine tres grande et à température parfaite, quant au coin détente, on s'y sent très bien ! Nous vous conseillons également le petit restaurant qui fait coin de la rue : le Warung Dapur Deli. Le personnel est très sympathique et accueillant (comme tout le monde semble l'etre à Bali !). Enfin vous pourrez compter sur l'homme le plus gentil du monde : Jun, le concierge qui s'est chargé pour nous de nous arranger toutes nos correspondances pendant notre sejours (alors que nous n'avons passé que 2 jours dans cet endroit sur les 15 à Bali)... il a meme été jusqu'a nous organiser notre trajet vers Lombok et Gili Air... Vous l'aurez compris... adresse top !

Margit & Jun are great, friendly hosts. Their place really is as good as the listing; the bedroom and pool are both spacious and comfortable. In the mornings, there's a coffee shop right outside that serves breakfast. Sanur as a neighborhood is less touristy and bike-able to the beachfront for some scenic massages, which is exactly what we wanted. If you're looking for closer to trendy, touristy spots, I'd recommend booking closer to Seminyak (west side of Bali), but we chose this more remote location and were pretty happy :)

Margit’s villa was wonderful and amazing. The villa itself is very large with multiple sitting areas, a massive big bedroom, king bed, separate dining / lounge, kitchen with access to Margit’s pool and manicured gardens. The villa adjoins Margit’s personal residence & sits within a complex of a few other smaller villas (some of which are either rented out through Airbnb or utilised by her family). Once you close your front door you have complete privacy and your own personal haven. I absolutely loved my villa which was the perfect base during my 5 week stay whilst I completed my Dive Master training close by. The complex is located in and around the local Balinese community vs the touristy areas which was wonderful - though you can easily access the beach / tourist areas by bicycle / scooter. Margit’s hospitality was warm and welcoming & I’d definitely visit again.

We enjoyed calling this home for a few months while exploring Bali. The house is spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The pool and grounds are meticulously maintained and very relaxing!! We will be back again in a few weeks!

Wonderful apartment in a very quiet neighborhood. Margit and her family live next door and are very nice. The pool was great after a hot day. I recommend to other guests who want to live in a real Bali neighborhood.

As the previous reviews have said, this is the best Airbnb I have stayed at. A wonderfully clean and fabulously stylish place to stay which is both peaceful but in close proximity to the lovely beachfront in Sanur. Margit and her family were a joy to meet- friendly, incredibly flexible and alway on hand with great suggestions about the local area. I hope to be back soon!

Such an awesome place to stay. Made was helpful and did everything for us that we feel comfy. The house and the garden is soo beautiful. We highly recommend to stay here. And the little restaurant right in front of the house is perfect too.

Une adresse vivement recommandé à Sanur !!! Un très bel et convivial accueil par Marguit et ces proches le soir de notre arrivée nous a très vite mis dans l’ambiance balinaise. La villa est somptueuse, décorée avec goût et on s´y sent comme chez soi. Marguit et son mari sont de très bon conseil, ils nous ont même appelé un taxi le jour de notre départ. Si nous revenons un jour à Bali c’est certain nous passerons de nouveau quelques jours chez Marguit !!!

This place is wonderful for couples, quiet but close to the beach and lovely restaurants. Try gong restaurant ! Quiet but amazing food. The place has bikes to get to the beach quickly too, and the house is beautiful. The biggest bed ever and a beautiful pool. Highly recommended by me! I'd stay again.

The house is clean, nice location and views especially morning and evenings. Walkable distances for some restaurant.

Wir waren 5 Wochen bei Made. Das Haus und der Garten mit Pool sind sehr sehr schön. Made war immer da und hat uns bei vielen Dingen geholfen. Sie hat z.B. auch extra für unsere Tochter Kinderbett und Kinderstuhl besorgt. Es gibt auch 2 Fahrräder mit welchen wir in ca. 15min immer zum Strand gefahren sind. Man sollte wissen, dass man mit Made im selben Haus wohnt (eigener Eingang). Das hat uns aber nicht gestört. Insgesamt können wir die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, alles wie auf den Bildern zu sehen, wenn nicht sogar besser. Margit war eine tolle Gastgeberin immer erreichbar und hatte immer paar gute Tipps parat bezüglich Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Wäscherei. Sollten meine Freundin und ich nochmal nach Bali kommen, würden wir wieder bei Margit buchen!

Look no further if you are looking for a quiet and homely place with a wonderful host and family to stay in Bali. The place is very well furished with all your needs.

Margit and Michelle our lovely hosts. They do everything to make you feel welcome. They are great people and great at communicating. If we needed anything (as we have baby and have to plan around him) Margit was there at once offering us eggs or bread or other stuff to help out. Their place is beautiful, and don't forget to look at their beautiful lights that they made themselves! We highly recommend them!

We really enjoyed our time at Made's place the house was lovely and much bigger and more beautiful then first expecting. The pool was perfect and we loved the garden! Renting a scooter definitely seemed to be the best way to get around the island! Would definitely recommend this to place even though it is a little out of the way from the more touristy Bali destinations :) !!

Made did everything to make our 1 month stay as comfortable as possible in her house. The first day she showed us around in Sanur in her car. She especially bought 2 bicycles knowing we are Dutch which we used everyday with pleasure to cycle to the beach. The very well equipped house with a personal touch of the owner is situated in Sanur yet next to a Sawah where we watched the sun going down everyday. Unforgettable! She and the place where we lived made our stay in Bali one to remember and can only recommend unconditionally.

I stayed at Made for a month while doing a course in Sanur. I really enjoyed my stay there and felt like home. Made is a wonderful host and her place is really peaceful and quiet where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets from. The place is quite big too and has all the facilities you might need for either a short stay or a longer one. Only a short 5min drive to town. Bonus a lovely little cafe around the corner walking distance with great salads and nice breakfast. I can't recommend Made's place enough.

Truly an awesome Airbnb! Margit is a wonderful host and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling through Bali. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and literally spotless; by far the most clean and comfortable place I've stayed in Indonesia. 10/10!

The Home is very spacious, Well Ventilated, and good furniture taste, its very good for rest/relax while enjoying Bali, location easy to find and close to good Cafe,Laundry and Warung to fulfill your basic Need, good Wifi speed and coverage, the Host also very care and polite to the guess very recommended place in Bali for both business travel or family.

I stayed here just three days and it was perfect. The apartment has everything you need, the bed is comfortable, the shower is amazing and has hot water, the kitchen is really fully equipped. The pool is just delicious and the garden is surrounded by rice fields, so peaceful. I could cycle to the beach very easily and Margit was very helpful, she showed me all the best places to eat and took me to the market on the first day so I could get some food and essentials. Just next door there is a little 'warung' where you can have delicious coffee, egg&bacon bagels, fresh fruit juice. I would highly recommend this place, it really is a hidden gem. If it's available book it.

Was a great place!

This was one of my best airbnb experiences! The home is so unbelievably lovely, and absolute paradise. All of the amenities are very well thought out, with amazingly curated decor. I can not overstate how beautiful and luxurious this property is. Our host was incredibly gracious and helpful. After we left this property we had reservations at a hotel in Kuta for our remaining time in Bali; we regretted not staying here longer as it was PERFECT!!!

This studio is more like a one-bedroom apartment! It's so spacious (the bedroom is upstairs) and everything is new, well-maintained and well-equipped. The pictures do not do it justice and it really is a beautiful place to relax in.There are several restaurants nearby, both local and more 'western' cuisines available. The pool is fantastic and Margit and her husband were very kind and polite during our visit. Highly recommend both the host and the listing, we had a great New Year's on the beach which is close by.

Margit and Michel's house were better in real life than in the pictures! It is definitely a great deal staying in their house considering the price. I slept with my mom in the bedroom (very comfortable queen sized bed), my sister and his boyfriend slept at the double sofa bed outside which was very decent. The facilities were working very fine, strong Wi-Fi, complete set of kitchen ware is available and the furnishing is to die for. Pool is very large and cleaned everyday. The garden faces rice paddies view which was a great surprise for me because I was not expecting that! The house is near Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai so it is easy to go around with car. About 200 meter near the house, there is a warung where you can buy drinking water, coffee and other necessities. Overall, I love Michel and Margit's house! Great house for very reasonable place. Отличная кухня с новым оборудованием, есть все необходимое для приготовления пищи. Хороший напор очень горячей воды. Самый быстрый интернет, чем в местах где мы останавливались ранее. Большой бассейн) Отличное соотношение цена - качество. Очень гостеприимные хозяева, помогут снять мотобайк за хорошую цену. Дадут советы и рекомендации. Мы любим это место и хотели бы остаться тут на всегда! This is a great place! If You can stay in it, then You are very lucky! We stayed here for a long time, and it's a great place for both short and long stays. Very large 2 storey house. A large area of the house. Great kitchen with new appliances, has everything you need for cooking. A good stream of very hot water. With a quick Internet than in the places where we stayed previously. A large pool) excellent prices, quality. Very hospitable hosts, will help you to rent a motorcycle for a good price. To give advice and recommendations. We love this place and will stay here forever!

We stayed 3 nights at Made's place and if we could, we would stay for ever ;) The place is perfect, very near to Sanur Beach, shops and restaurants (with the scooter 10 minutes) but also away from the noise. The Villa is better than the Pictures. Very cosy, clean and comfortable. Made was very helpful and gave us a lot of tips where to go. Helped us also to get a scooter. In my opinion there is no better choice to make than staying at Made's house. I can only recommend it and we will come back.
