Exploring MM HOUSE 3. rice field & garden view, 75MBPS left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of MM HOUSE 3. rice field & garden view, 75MBPS was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for MM HOUSE 3. rice field & garden view, 75MBPS painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

In general, all is well. Clean enough, but the bath could be more stylish. The villa has not a pool. It’s no good. Especially when you are away from the ocean and want to swim. For all the time I had problems with the Internet. The owner corrected the situation at the end of my stay and the speed increased, but not stable. In the room, on the bed, the Internet practically does not work. I'm afraid the place is not suitable for work.
I’ve stayed his place for a month for doing some work. I could enjoy delivery foods and a great massage (highly recommended) at home. The host and his employee were so kind, smiley and tried to satisfy all of my requests. It was exceptional. However, he was so nice that he even tolerated the guests without sense of making noise. (It was a guest but he even brought some weird shouting woman afterward. What a comedy!) One day other people kept talking and laughing loudly even after they found out someone was working next door. It’s not their fault but it would’ve been better if there had been the clear guideline for a noise level since I also realized that everybody had so different concept of noise. But it generally matched or was beyond my expectation. I appreciate all of your support during my stay again!
I have rated the place the 4 star only because the bathroom and kitchen need some refurbishment but generally the place was so clean and room services was done everyday. Made and family are so kind and friendly and they do their best to make your trip more enjoyable and convenient. There is an information pack and map of ubud on kitchen desk which helped us lot to go around . The location is perfect to go to town center and lots of sightseeing are around and only half an hour from the place. This place is not suitable for those who are seeking relaxing and luxury holiday but perfect for those who want to explore bali and only need a room to sleep after a long day of adventure . Made is always available to answer any question you have and so easy to get in touch.

Wonderful cosy setting in a rural yet accessible location in ubud. 10 mins scooter ride to central ubud and a little extra for surrounding attractions. Room was very clean and tidy every day, kitchen space is great for simple meals. Comfortable atmosphere and the host, Made, is very helpful and welcoming. Great recommendations are given on what to do and where to eat. Thanks so much for having me!
If you are looking for a calm place yet close to Ubud (by scooter it takes 10 mins), it's excellent. Ubud is noisy. By foot it's also not too far, but I wouldn't suggest walking there at night as there are no pavements. The accomodation is very good: comfortable beds, everything was very clean, a private place outside to enjoy the tranquility. The only thing we missed was breakfast which is offered in Indonesia almost everywhere.

오토바이가 있으면 상당하 좋은 위치예요. 조용하구요. 침대에서 살짝 오래된 가구 냄새가 나지만 에어컨 틀어놓으면 금벙잡혀서 불편함없어요~ 음식해먹기도 좋고 냉장고 고장나니 바로 새걸로 바꿔주더라구요 편안하고 너무 사랑스러운 강아지들이 항상 반겨줘요~
we had sooo much fun staying at Made's place. his house is in a super peaceful and relaxing part of ubud, just tucked away from the noise and chaos. there is a beautiful view of a rice garden right from the front porch. he also had 2 adorable dogs that were so cute and gentle, and befriended us during our stay. we were able to rent a motorcycle as well (cute little 150cc sportbike), which was SO fun to ride, but BE CAREFUL! they do NOT drive like what you are used to 😂 his brother was so nice and arranged to pick us at the airport with no problems. thank you so much for all the hospitality! we hope to stay there again!

I recently had a 3 week stay at MM House and had a truly fantastic stay. The home was comfortable and in good condition. It was cleaned thoroughly twice a week and enjoyed cooking in the outdoor kitchen. The property itself was peaceful and despite sharing the property with other guest's, the accommodation was private. Made's dogs were cute and friendly and added to the visit. But what sets this place apart is Made himself. With clear communication and great responsiveness, Made showed genuine care and effort to make my stay as welcoming as possible without ever being invasive. He went above and beyond to thoroughly answer questions and solve problem's. He made a solo Stay feel like home I know ill be back next year to stay here again, and you should too

The place was clean, comfortable and quiet, with a pleasant view over the garden and the greenery beyond it. Made was kind enough to take me on some spectacular walks along the rice fields at sunrise. These will be very memorable experiences to take from there. Made ( and his doggos) were super friendly and helpful throughout my month-long stay. I recommend the location for more of an authentic Bali experience than staying close to the more touristy places in Ubud. Thanks, Made and family, for your kind hospitality.
I was able to stay in this cozy home for a few days and felt safe and like I have been there before…it’s that inviting. I didn’t need much, but what I needed was there which was perfect. There are great gems in the area and a scooter to get you there. What more could you ask for?
Made é um anfitrião extremamente gentil, prestativo e alegre. A nossa estadia de 30 dias em sua casa foi maravilhosa. O espaço é incrivelmente tranquilo, silencioso e limpo. O jardim é muito bem cuidado e a limpeza do quarto é feita duas vezes na semana e a menina da limpeza além de fazer um trabalho impecável é muito educada e simpática. Roupa de cama e toalhas extremamente limpas. O Wifi também funciona muito bem, o que é ótimo para quem trabalha online. Eu recomendo este espaço!!
Bali is synonymous to nature. The place was very simple yet attractive. Had all that you need in the most functional way without frills which is very likeable.

Great experience and place in Ubud! We stayed for a month and everything was perfect ❤️👌 the cleaning lady went twice per week and Made was always very nice. Looking forward to come back and stay longer.

All in all, it was our best stay in Bali in terms of price/comfort ratio. Made is a very hospitable and helpful host. One of the best who has hosted us in different countries over the years. The accommodation was equipped with everything we needed and thought out to the last detail. An unexpected plus was the level of tidiness of the room and grounds. Cleaning was done two times a week. Towels and linen were absolutely snow white and pleasantly scented. Made also took care that guests could buy water at any time right on the territory, it helped us a lot. Thank you so much! Highly recommended.
I had such a great stay! Made and his family are extremely kind and helpful. Made also has a stunning sense of humour! Also, the wifi was great, which was very important for me, since I work online. The location is wonderful because it's close to all the touristy places, if that's what you're into. Even though Made's place is centrally located, it is a little oasis and is very quiet and peaceful. Also, the cleaning service is remarkable - twice/week and the cleaner does a phenomenal job. I highly recommend this place, and I'd absolutely return!
If you want a peaceful place, go there ! You still in Ubud but its a quiet place, you have also the view on the ricefiel. Nobody will disturb you there and Made and his family are just adorable ❤️ recommend it ! Thank you for everything Made 🙏🏻🙏🏻

A beautiful stay with Made. Very grateful.
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Made's place. The bedroom itself was spotless and the wifi connection very strong for my remote work needs. Location was quite close to many of amenities you'd need, a quick grab ride will get you there soon enough and grab food was very accessible. Not too far from some of my favourite spots in Ubud like the Monkey Forest and Campuhan. Made and his son are very kind and considerate hosts and definitely make you feel welcome. Highly recommend a stay here!
A wonderful stay - we stayed here a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Made was very accommodating, more than helpful and always pleasant. He booked a local tour for us and as well as that he was always very communicative. The room was spotless, very clean & there was a pretty view from the room. The location is great too, only 2km from the town and the GOJEK bikes come here too which is ideal. I would definitely recommend this place, it is certainly value for money.

Made's homestay was amazing! This is the best way to feel at home, in the family. Lovely apartment, true to the pictures, very nice garden, the friendliest dogs in the world. excellent location, everything you need is nearby, easy to get anywhere on the island without any problems. My second home in Ubud! Wonderful little apartment with big bathroom and hot water. So clean! You have a beautiful view into the stunning garden and rice fields from your bed 😍 Super fast Wifi, so I enjoyed working remotely from the terrace. Also the big kitchen is a plus. Pak Made and his family are so kind, they go the extra mile for their guests and you can feel this right away. Pak Made also organized transportation for a weekend trip to Sidemen. And you can rent a scooter for a very good price. The location is very close to Ubud center as well. Thank you very much Pak Made and family, suksma 🤍

깨끗합니다. 우붓의 센터 쪽은 아니지만 스크터 렌트를 해서 다니면 원숭이 숲 같은 경우면 십분이면 갑니다. 근처 식당이 다 맛이 좋고 값이 쌉니다. 저 외의 한국 분들도 꽤 와서 있다가 갑니다. 조용합니다. 진정한 발리의 느낌을 느낄 수 있습니다.

This house is amazing!! Sparkling clean, super comfortable bed.. great kitchen area.. amazing rice fields views! Overall i had a really nice stay.. Made was really friendly and accommodating and helped me get around a lot to sightsee in Ubud. Komang was already really friendly and always there to help! Thank you for all the durian trips!! Made’s place is wonderful. The view from the kitchen/porch makes a fantastic start to the day and a great place to work if you’re computer based. Also, there’s a delicious and cheap place called warung 9 angels which is a short walk away and laundry is across the street. This place was exactly what we needed to get some work done in a peaceful environment near Ubud. :-)
If you are looking for a comfortable, safe, clean and simple accomodation with a lovely host, than Made’s place is perfect for you. We had an outstanding stay and felt very welcome at MM House. Made and his family are pleased to help you in every case and meet all your requirements. What we appreciated most, was that they were pleased to answer all our questions about culture, relegion and so on (and we had a lot of questions ^^). We can definitely recommend it, as we had a great time there :-)
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Es war sauber, ruhig und Made und seine Familie super freundliche Gastgeber. Für alle, die genau wie wir von unterwegs arbeiten: Das WLAN ist ideal zum Arbeiten und auf der kleinen Terrasse kann man super sitzen, arbeiten und den Ausblick aufs Land genießen. Es wurde regelmäßig sauber gemacht, man hat zu einem super Preis einen Roller mieten können (40k/ Tag) und für 2k kann man Wasser in eigene Flaschen abfüllen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Nur der Weg nach Ubud rein ist etwas länger. Je nach Verkehrslage 15-20min. Aber dafür hat man es bei Made eben schön ruhig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist einfach top! Ganz klare Weiterempfehlung.

Our second time back to this wonderful place, we just loved it so much the first time! Beautiful views over the rice fields and away from the bustle of the main town, but still quick and easy access into Ubud! We could not fault this wonderful place, 100% recommend to everyone :)

Made and family are just beautiful people with great hearts! Made has fantastic local knowledge and is always prepared to help in any way that he can. The facilities of the room were great with a full outdoor kitchen, aircon and fan and couch / day bed. The space offers more than just a bedroom, it's a place you can really make Home. I felt Made was incredibly welcoming and genuinely wants his guests to have a comfortable, relaxed and experiential stay. I definitely recommend staying here.
This place was the absolute highlight of our trip! Such an amazing place to stay in the middle of rice fields! and we couldn’t believe how lovely the room was when we arrived! Especially considering that it doesn’t cost much at all! We’re already planning our next trip back to Ubud just so we can stay here again! And ofcourse then we’ll get to see lovely little Moji again!!! (Cutest dog ever) Thankyou Made! We’ll be back!!!
I had an exceptional stay here. As with any Airbnb listing you're never quite sure what to expect but this place exceeded my expectations. The room was a nice size with fan and aircon (I didn't use the aircon though) and the bathroom was a reasonable size too. The towel was clean and the soap was nice too! The little kitchenette outside the room was perfect for making a simple breakfast or meal. The view of rice fields was just lovely to see every morning as I had my coffee and toast. The best part for me was just how quiet it was at night and that I got really good, uninterrupted sleep. Being away from main Ubud really helped and at the same time it's not far away at all. The hosting was top notch. My flight was delayed but I was welcomed with a big, warm smile by Made's son. I had a very pleasant drive back to their place. Made and his family are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Even if you feel like you know what you need to know about Ubud/Bail, they can always teach you something new. Their little pup was very friendly and sweet :) I would definitely stay here again. For what you pay, you get a stellar experience. Heck, they could charge more and it would still be completely worth it.

Made’s homestay is tucked away within rice fields for a relaxing stay. The city is the perfect distance to get a nice meal about 5-10 minutes away or there is a full kitchen provided with your room to make your own if you decide to do some local shopping! (He provides coffee, tea and water). Made and his son Putu are so kind and welcoming as well as their little puppy Mochi who just fell in love with! This is my second time staying at Made’s and there will be many more visits! I would highly recommend this homestay if you are looking for a relaxing time in ubud. 5 stars all around!!! YOU MUST STAY HERE WHILE IN UBUD!! Wow. What an INCREDIBLE experience here in Ubud, especially at Made’s place. Our experience here in Bali was made exceptionally well thanks to Made’s hospitality as well as accommodations. Made is a prime example of what a good Airbnb host should be. First of all, our flight landed in Bali late around 1-2 am and Made arranged a pick up for us with his son (how awesome is this family!). Made also set up motorbike rentals for us and gave me excellent recommendations on where to eat. A great and cheap vegetarian buffet restaurant nearby that we ate almost everyday. Within a 5 minutes walk there is a store that sells all your basic supplies (toiletries, snacks, medicine, etc) and a market with fresh produce and great fresh cooked food. The condo itself was excellent with AC, fridge, and basic kitchen supplies for us to cook, although we ate out in Ubud mostly. Made’s place is perfect as it is a short ride to Ubud, less than 10 min to central Ubud, but far enough where it is perfectly quiet at night without hearing the hustle and bustle. The condo was cleaned everyday while we were away and we came back with fresh sheets, pillows, and towels everyday! (just like any hotel). Even when we wanted a specific recommendation, Made was able to assist; I was able to find a good local gym to get my workouts in thanks for his recommendation. This place is definitely the place to be for your next trip to Ubud! We came here with no plans and we were able to do something everyday due to Made’s recommendations! Thanks Made for making our trip a memorable one!

The place is exactly as described and in a perfect location, if you do not wish to be in the middle of town. Ubud centre is easily accessible by scooter within 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Lodtunduh has a great little supermarket which sells many handy little things. Big food stores are close and you also can go to the local markets in the morning, for fresh food. There are also many good warungs/restaurants nearby. Made and his family are so lovely and intelligent. It was a pleasure to chat with them and to have such a nice family around. They also have a very cute puppy! :) The place was clean and has absolutely everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a big fridge and the WIFI was working really well. In fact, everything was taken care of really well by the host. And Sura the roomboy did a great job too. He also drove me to town before I was ready to drive myself :) What a great find for Ubud or Bali in general! I absolutely recommend it, also for longer stays. Gonna miss this kind family!
Made's place in Ubud is perfect. I stayed for nearly a month and couldn't be happier. It's beautiful and quiet, but close to shops and restaurants A little far from town but easy to get to the center by motorbike. Made is so helpful with everything- he helped me rent the motorbike, book tours, get delivery, find good food, and he taught me tons of lessons about Bali and Balinese culture. His family is incredibly kind and helpful as well. Made even saved me when I got a flat tire on my motorbike! I am so thankful for knowing him. The room is clean and has towel and kitchen is supplied with utensils, pans, etc. No bugs in the room or bathroom made it even better. The rice field in the backyard is great and you can easily book cheap massages at the house.
This is probably the best place we have stayed on AirBnB! It's in a small village outside of touristy Ubud, and gives you a great feeling of living like the locals. Made and his family were amazing hosts! Very welcoming, and gave us a lot of advise on where to eat and what to do. The room was lovely, and was cleaned every day, with a nice outdoor kitchen area with tea and coffee available. Made was always on hand to help out. He gave us lifts to & from the airport, helped us order takeaway food, ordered us taxis, booked tours for us, and took us on a tour himself one day. We highly recommend this place & very much enjoyed our time there!
We stayed 3 nights at Made's place and we loved it there! He was very kind and gave us great recommendations for local food. Scooter rental was no problem. He arranged a scooter for us in 10 min and for a very cheap price. The room itself was cozy and clean. We definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Ubud outside of the busy centre!

Comfortable place.
Made est sa famille sont d'une grande gentillesse et nous ont donné pleins de bons conseils tout au long de notre séjour. Le logement, d'une propreté impeccable, est parfaitement situé pour tout ceux qui souhaite être au calme et' éloigner un peu du tumulte d'Ubud. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir lors d'un prochain passage à bali.

Made is an exceptional host who goes well above and beyond the call of duty to make his guests feel at home and at ease in Bali. In addition to having a beautiful guest house, he has prepared a very helpful guide for first timers, with a number of wonderful excursions, spa treatments, and restaurant recommendations. He was very flexible with our check in time, and accommodating with helping us book tours and make plans. I would highly recommend his place and services for any traveller, and will definitely be returning on any future trips to Bali!
This was actually my first time using Airbnb but thanks to Made, he made the whole experience such a fun and pleasant one! Having no initial plans, I had booked his place to get some rest and relaxation in Ubud, and to my pleasant surprise, Made already has a well thought out itinerary for you ready in case you want to visit some areas of interest. On top of that he also provides a map of the area as well as food delivery numbers for those days when you're too lazy to get out and get food. One of the must visit places is the nearby rice field. It isn't one of the major tourist locations so you probably won't find it listed online because only the locals know about that area. Tell Made you're interested to visit that place and either he or his son will arrange a time to bring you there. If you like running, bring your running shoes and go for a jog there! Also, make sure you don't wear your favourite pair of shoes there as the path gets muddy as you explore the area and walk across the rice fields. Initially I had rented a scooter in the hopes of getting around the area but with little driving or road experience, it seemed as if my money had gone to waste. However, Made being the helpful host that he is, came up with a plan to get one of his workers to drive me around on that scooter for a small fee. If it weren't for his quick thinking and flexibility, I would probably have spent the majority of the holiday in his apartment. Once again, thank you Made! Would definitely return again :)
I was travelling on my own and I felt very safe there! Made helped me arrange tours and gave me good tips, such as where to eat which were all really awesome - Warung 9, Ibu Dayu Babi Guling (at the cross junction), chicken satay (at the cross junction every night!). Made and his family were really friendly. I ran into a situation on my last day, when the driver I had previously arranged to take me to the airport didn't show up / was 20mins late, so Made's son drove me the airport instead and I was thankfully able to catch my flight. I travelled mainly by cycling, which I would recommend only if you're a pretty experienced driver, because most roads are very narrow, shared with cars and motorbikes, bidirectional, and there are many slopes (generally, uphill as you go to Central Ubud, and downhill as you return to MM3). While I was there, it rained everyday, which created a flood up to the mid-shins that was at times, difficult to cycle through. Made does provide both front and back lights for the bicycle, which makes it slightly safer, but if you can ride a motorbike, I would recommend that instead. If you're going to cycle, try to leave MM3 at 5-6am, because that's when traffic is still not too terrible. After that, the north-south roads become heavy with traffic from people travelling from south Bali (Denpasar/Sanur/Kuta) to Ubud and back. One last thing - This was not in the list of recomended nearby attractions but I do recommend you go to the Setia Darma house of masks and puppets (Galeria Wayang dan Topeng Setia Darma), a short 10-15min bicycle ride from MM3. Find your way there via Google Maps. It was excellent and probably the most interesting and unique museum I went to. It's free and they provide a guide to show you around. They do ask for a donation at the end of their guided tour.
This has been my favorite place to stay in Ubud so far because it is comfortable and clean, but especially the environment and energy is very good. I really love the porch and outdoor kitchen, the view of the garden area, and especially Made and his family! The internet is fast and reliable, which was good since I had to work a bit while I was there. I can't wait to go back!
Made is the best!!! Extremely kind and helping! We already miss our beautiful room on the rice fields! 10/10 I highly recommend Made's place !
Pak Made not only ensures that the kitchen and room is clean daily, he also provides valuable tips on where to visit. The scooter is not only brand new, rental is also reasonable. On the eve of my departure the laundry forgotten to deliver and Pak Made called the laundry staff to deliver way after closing time. Excellent service.
This was a great place to stay. It was set back from the street so it was peaceful and quiet with only the sounds of nature. The kitchen was lovely to use and I liked the outdoor setting of the sitting area. We went to the traditional market down the street (10-15 min walk) and got inexpensive, delicious vegetables and some fruit. Made recommended us to go to Warung 9 and I pass this along! It was fantastic, a great spot with delicious, very affordable food. At the house there is a water cooler where you can refill your water bottle for only 2000 rupiah. I really appreciate Made's effort to reduce the amount of plastic used and the very good price for guests. Made and his family were simply wonderful, amazing hosts and we will definitely stay here again next time we come to Bali. Highly recommended!
I spent a month in MM3 and didn't regret at all that I selected this place. The neighbourhood is really calm and quite unlike bustle in Ubud. There are several warungs nearby with really cheap meals, not to mention 9 angels Warung. Need to notice, that the place is quite far from the center of Ubud. So if you plan to go there often, you need to rent a bike/cycle or hire a taxi to go there. Made helped us with every single issue I had - organised a night transfer, which was extremely helpful, helped to rent a bike without any collateral, explained everything I need to know to enjoy my living there. What was above my expectations, is that the room was thoroughly cleaned every day and towels were replaced every several days! Overall, this is a great place. If I ever get back on the island, I will know the perfect place to stay.
Made est un Hôte d'exception ! Nous sommes restés 16Jours dans sa ravissante résidence. Le gros avantage c'est que Made connait très bien Bali et ses alentours, il n'hésitera pas à vous aiguiller pour vos visites ou même vous les organiser si besoin! Super séjour je recommande vivement cet hôte.
Прекрасный дом на 4 комнаты в тихом месте. Хороший вид с большой террасы, на которой стоит уютный диванчик и большой стол. Есть холодильник, плита, столовые принадлежности. Очень чисто(уборка каждый день). Рядом недорогой вегетарианский варунг. Дешёвый прокат мопеда. Хозяин очень отзывчивый, моментально решает все проблемы. Everything was perfect!
From the moment that I landed in Bali my host Made made sure that I was well received by his driver, and brought to the house safely. The unit was exactly what was detailed in the description, and way MORE.... My stay was extremely comfortable. Made's staff ensured that my room was cleaned daily, and that I all trash was handled immediately. Made was very helpful in assisting me in securing a scooter to get around Bali, as well as providing me with a map of Bali to ensure that I would be able to get around on my own. His family was very inviting and welcomed me with open arms. I am happy that I chose MM3 Private House, this rental felt more like home, with Made and his welcoming family, and I look forward to booking again.
My husband and I stayed Made's place for 5nights. He always gave us good advices and tips then kept us busy;-) We went to rice terrace, Kintamani, water fall and temple etc... We really enjoyed to stay his place and discovered surrounds. The accommodation is clean and tidy, cleaning by cleaner everyday. 5min by scooter to get centre of Ubud. There is good Babi grin restaurant 3min walk from Made's place is must try. Thanks Made and family for having us giving us such a great time. Made represents everything a great host should have: he is warm, kind, always ready to help you and he makes you feel at home. We felt all of that in the same moment we met him. We were in MM3, which is just lovely place with no hustle around, but still close enough (the walking distance) to access the local restaurants and stores. The room was very clean. Everyday after we came home, all the place was cleaned. The kitchen is open and the porch is really spacious. There is also a nice view from the porch, where you can just relax, listen the music and read a book. Overall, it feels like a true Balinese home. Back to Made. He helped us with giving us recommendations where to eat and what places to visit. (By the way, if you are a vegetarian or a vegan (Or even if you're not!), you have to visit the restaurant Made recommended to us. It's called Warung 9. He will show you the way.) Made also recommended where to rent a scooter (very affordable price). The next morning it waited for us in front of the house. We can just say we're sorry we did not book the place earlier, so we could have stayed longer than just 3 days. Hm, maybe next time. Thank you Made for everything and we wish you all the best. Made is incredibly welcoming and helpful. He helped with many great local recommendations and he is very kind hearted and friendly. The location is a little out of town but for me that was nicer to have somewhere more peaceful and with a more local experience.
I had a wonderful time staying here with Made. He was so kind and helpful. The place is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, a little slice of heaven on earth. You are too far from Ubud here to walk but Made helped me hire a scooter and was so helpful when I was nervous about ridding it. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Really great stay to the south of Ubud. Room was perfect, nice clean bathroom, good little kitchen outside, and strong wifi - everything needed for a few nights. Absolutely terrific value for the price. Only thing is you WILL need a scooter if you're staying here, but that's basically true of everywhere - don't think you can come to Bali and have much fun without a scooter.
I recommend the Made´s house of all travelers . Good location near Ubud, quiet, very nice and clean . Made a very knowledgeable we all places to visit in. Made inform us about places to visit around his house and in Bali ! He was there to help us rent a scooter and take ânge elephant tour .
Great place. Great little kitchen. Everything is as described. Super friendly hosts. Just be aware that it is a little out of town so you will need a scooter or car to get around.
Made was the perfect host - he communicated well before our arrival, made us feel at home and even gave Adam some great tips (and local clothing) for photography. The listing is even better than shown in the photos and we would have stayed longer if it was not already booked. Loved it!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, nice, quiet, peaceful place outside of the hustle of UBUD, but still close enough to get there in 5-10min. The host Made is wonderful! He speaks great English and will be able to enrich your experience with his wisdom and honest recommendations for places to check out. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! We stayed at MM for a week and absolutely loved it. Made himself is all and everything plus more of what earlier reviews says. He is a genuine good guy who's interest is in making your stay as good as possible - Make sure to exchange stories with him ;) We became good friends in the week we spend with him. The room is perfect and the small kitchen and balcony (with the calm and beutiful view) surely made our stay even more enjoyable. We are highly recommending this place! Rent a scooter for about 3 euros a day and stay outside of Ubud with a perfect access to an atm, supermarket, local markets and tasty chicken satay in the evening.
Well to start Made is a local that has built and opened his home. His English is good and adds to the ability to give great tips on activities and places to eat. His 4 private rooms vary in size and are at the low end of price. Rooms are clean and as pictured. The outdoor kitchens are great with fridge, just remember to keep clean to avoid insects. We stayed a week and would have extended our stay if bookings did not conflict. Laundry close by as well as local street food. Finally we found relaxing quiet mornings and loved opening morning eye to open rice fields. We recommend highly.
Made was a wonderful host with such a wonderful place to stay. He is very welcoming with so much information and also allows you to have your space . The accomodation is the best and you won't beat it for the price and location Breathtaking view :)

There's a reason Made has consistent 5 star reviews. Great place, very nice, and all around good experience. I'd recommend having your own transportation or working out tours with Made directly to help get you around the city.
