The virtual preview of Ocean Suite A&J - Exceptional Beachfront Apartment was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Candidasa plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Ocean Suite A&J - Exceptional Beachfront Apartment painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

l'appartement est impeccable, tres propre . vue extraordinaire . 5* Pas grand chose a faire dans le coin . impossible de prendre une marche . Il y a de tres bons restaurants . Grab ne fonctionne pas . il y a d'importants travaux sur la grève. cela a gâché notre séjour. vérifiez si.les travaux sont terminés avant de réserver.....

Great location, made us want to stay longer

Abholung am Flughafen, Transfer und später Check in 22:00 waren problemlos. Jederzeit Kontakt mit schnellen antwortverhalten und nicht aufdringlich. Viele Tips für Restaurants und Lokale . Candidasa ist selbst ein ruhiger und kein Party Ort weit weg von den Hotspots . Der Regenzeit entsprechend wechselndes Wetter. Wer es ruhiger möchte für den ist das Appt ideal und zwei Daumen nach oben

Lovely place with unbeatable scenery!!! A&J were wonderful hosts who were responsive and offered many tips. Their villa manager Pariatna was very helpful and responsive too - much appreciated. Only downside though was the water supply to the place which had stopped supplying to the water and kitchen thrice during our 2N stay but the manager responded swiftly. Other than that, it was a lovely experience

Adam und Jean habe sehr schnell reagiert. Die Kommunikation, der Check in und check out war problemlos. Das Apartment ist sauber. Wer jedoch mit me als 2 Personen dort übernachten möchte, muss sich darauf einstellen, dass zwei Betten im Wohnzimmer sind, welche durch eine Schiebetür abgetrennt werden kann. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist super. Die Lage ist direkt am Wasser in einem kleinen Dorf. Alles ist ruhig und ohne Roller kann man den ein oder anderen Supermarkt oder Restaurant erreichen. Will man mehr sehen, empfiehlt sich ein Roller. Wer seine Ruhe und jederzeit einen Ausblick auf das Meer haben möchte, ist hier richtig.

A lovely view from this ocean suite villa. Jean and Adam were always a text away to ensure we had a nice stay. The food in the resort restaurant was amazing and at a good reasonable price. If you need to use the electric stove, please ask the host (unstable electricity power stoped us from being able to turn it on and use it during our stay). Please bring your own amenities (shower gel & shampoo is not available).

Bathroom was open, attracts lizards at night but none inside so it's fine,. Other then that ocean waves were nice to listen to at night and private beach+ pool is nice.

This is the second time we have stayed at A&J’s villa. Both times have been great, the team there were super helpful and always had a smile. We will be back again for sure! Can recommend doing the cooking class via the team, lots of fun and beautiful food! Thanks again to the team!!

Wir waren insgesamt drei Nächte in der Unterkunft. Der Ausblick, das Meer ist der Wahnsinn😍 Vor Ort hat uns Pariatna empfangen, er war immer für uns da. Und sofort per Nachricht erreichbar. Sein Sohn hat uns abgeholt in der letzten Unterkunft und uns einen Scooter zum Ausleihen gegeben. Das war sehr nett! Candi Dasa ist viel ruhiger wie die meisten Städte, hier ist sehr wenig Tourismus. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen, der kleine Nachteil ist hier dran das man hier nicht so viel Auswahl an Restaurants hat und wirklich weniger Online liefern lassen kann. Alles in allem war alles super!🙏🏻

I had such a wonderful stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this Airbnb! The communication with the hosts was absolutely amazing – incredibly kind, attentive, helpful and always easy to reach. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully maintained and exactly what I hoped for when arriving at an Airbnb. I also felt very well taken care of by the lovely staff, who were always there to help and made my stay even more comfortable. A very special touch was the complimentary service to drive me to the nearby beach due to the current situation around the Airbnb. It was incredibly thoughtful. Another highlight was the delicious breakfast, freshly prepared for me right inside the apartment by Made – such a lovely way to start the day! Overall, everything was taken care of with so much warmth and attention to detail. I felt completely comfortable and looked after throughout my stay and would happily come back anytime. Thank you so much for making my stay so special! 🥰

Ocean Suite was gorgeous, and everything I was looking for - beautiful view and sounds of the sea (was better than I've expected from already amazing pictures), the spacious house had everything I needed, multiple options for food in a walking distance. Great communication with hosts Adam&Jean, as well as villa manager Pariatna - they were happy to assist with any questions or requests and gave a lot of tips to maximize the comfort of the stay. The Virgin Beach is around 20min away by car - transfer was organized by hosts, and Bebe was very accommodating in terms of any transportation requests. Had an amazing experience here!

Das Apartment hat einen wundervollen Blick aufs Meer, den man noch vor dem Aufstehen aus dem Bett heraus genießen kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder, um zu sehen wie sich Candidasa nach dem Umbau der Küstenlinie präsentiert.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. What really stood out was the host's communication — they let us know ahead of time about the important coastline conservation project happening in front of the property. Rather than leaving us to deal with it after we'd arrived, they proactively offered a great solution to make sure it didn't impact our stay. That kind of transparency and problem-solving made us feel well taken care of the whole time. The project will have a significant positive impact on the coastline and will be a lovely feature once completed. A&J are based in Bali and their local recommendations and contacts enhanced our stay and took all the stress away! The villa itself was lovely, and we'd happily book with this host again. Highly recommend!

Die Ocean Suite war traumhaft. Candidasa ist vom Touristen Trubel entfernt und trotzdem sind nette Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Einer der schönsten Strände Balis "Virgin Beach " ist nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt. Der Manager Pariatna war immer erreichbar, für Fragen oder Planungen für Ausflüge und hat alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Alles war super und wir können diesen Ort jedem wärmstens Empfehlen.

I've been in the mountains and hills for the last couple weeks so I wanted to enjoy the ocean one last time before I fly back, I always look for that good balcony and this is one of the best. You’re on the second floor so you have your own space, tons of room and ways to enjoy the scene, the beach is being restored but there aren’t any construction vehicles and not much foot traffic so you have the ocean all to yourself. My favorite was late at night laying out on the lounge chair listening to the waves crash on shore while the moon shines on you, pure peace. Total nature getaway, it was wonderful for my last stay, thank you!

What an amazing place! The apartment is located on the second floor and is beautifully designed, spacious, and very comfortable. It has two showers in one bathroom, another shower in the second bathroom, and even an outdoor shower on the terrace. The views are simply unbelievable. From the moment you wake up, you see the ocean, hear the waves, and feel the fresh sea breeze. Throughout the day you can enjoy stunning views of the mountains, small islands, and dramatic clouds. At night, the sound of the ocean is incredibly relaxing, and the starry sky is breathtaking. The complex also has two beautiful pools where you can swim while enjoying the ocean views and listening to the waves. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and bars within walking distance, making the location perfect. A special thank you to Adam. He was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He provided so much useful information about the area that we felt like locals from day one. Highly recommended !!!

We had a lovely stay. Suite was amazing with great views of the coast. The coastal works weren’t too distracting and the hosts were very upfront of it all. The suite Manager was also very helpful Resort was lovely. Massages and restaurant were also great Thank you

First time in Candidasa and staying at Adam’s place made us want to come back and keep exploring the area. The apartment was beautifully decorated, very clean and homely. There was a good choice of restaurants and spas in walking distance, many which had been recommended by Adam and Jean in an extensive introduction to the area. All the people we met during our 5-day stay were extremely friendly and helpful: Adam, Pariatna, Made and Kobar who was our dedicated driver and tourist guide. He even came with us on a snorkeling trip and we ate at his wife’s little Warung around the corner. We had been warned there was work done on the waterfront. Even though that was not ideal it is necessary and we’ll be back once the esplanade is finished. We were able to use the nice pool next door. I look forward to our next trip! 😊

Wir hatten 4 wunderschöne Tage in dieser Unterkunft. Das Appartement ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man fühlt sich wirklich unglaublich wohl. Es ist traumhaft mit dem Rauschen der Wellen einzuschlafen. Über die Baustelle hätten wir gern eher Bescheid gewusst, die hat aber die Stimmung anfänglich nur leicht getrübt. Irgendwann muss die Promenade ja gebaut werden. Der hauseigene Massageservice ist erstklassig. Made macht ihr Sache ausgezeichnet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Adam war jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Tolle Kommunikation. Tolle Gastgeber.

I have to start with by thanking Adam!! He has been one of best Airbnb hosts I’ve encountered while traveling and booking through Airbnb! His local recommendations were spot on and every place he recommended hit the spot!! The villa is spectacular with endless views!! The staff that we had catered to our every need! What can I say but I had a wonderful time kicking off my holiday in Southeast Asia with this being my first stop!! Thank you guys and I will see you again!! ❤️❤️❤️

This is certainly a very special place. Spotlessly clean and very well appointed, even better than the photos. The location is superb, directly overlooking the beach and right next to one of the two pools at Bayshore and also central to some very good restaurants and warungs. The proximity and sound of the ocean is magical. What really makes this place special is the team behind it Adam, Jean, Pariantna, Bebe and Made. They are committed to making sure you have the best time possible and really put their hearts and souls into delivering on this. This is the best place we have stayed in and we had a wonderful time. Ocean Suite is a must book place if you are staying in Candidasa you will not be disappointed. Thank you for everything.

We had a wonderful 5 nights at Ocean Suites! We were in Indonesia for my Sons 30th birthday. The apartment is situated overlooking the sea, it’s very private and beautifully decorated. Adam and Jean were perfect hosts with great and speedy communication, lots of helpful recommendations for restaurants and local tourist sites. They added really lovely touches to make my son’s birthday trip really special! I can’t fault the accommodation and the whole team! 😁

We had a lovely weekend at the apartment. Its position on the beach gave it a wonderful open feel and encouraged lazy days on the balcony enjoying the view. The use of a full kitchen, was greatly appreciated and the aircon when needed worked perfectly.

The Ocean Suite Villa was absolutely amazing! I could not have asked for a better stay. Adam and John were great hosts who provided local knowledge about the area. The staff onsite, Kobar, Made & Parianta were incredible and nothing is too much trouble for them. The property looks even better than the pictures, with the most sensational view of the ocean that you can watch while lying in bed. The villa has everything you could need for a comfortable stay and has beautiful, thoughtful touches. The location is great, right on the beach and walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. I would 100% recommend and will definitely book again when returning to Candidasa.

We have just returned home from 2 weeks staying at Ocean Suite. We had an amazing time, we were looking for a relaxing holiday away from the busy resorts which was why we chose Candidasa. There is plenty of choice of restaurants and warungs within walking distance of the apartment and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The apartment is beautiful- we enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the sea - it was so relaxing. Pariatna is an excellent manager, he was at the apartment to welcome us when we arrived and when we checked out and was available at any time if we needed him. His son Bebe provided us with airport transfers and also took us to Virgin beach several times - he is a very safe driver and was always on time and communicated well with us. Adam and Jean are excellent hosts and communicated well with us from the time of booking. They arranged for us to have a beautiful bouquet of flowers on our wedding anniversary- it was a lovely personal touch and very appreciated.

Die Lage ist top, viele günstige Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Tipps von A&J für Ausflüge waren sehr hilfreich, gerade wo wir zum erstan Mal auf Bali waren. Abholung durch Fahrer am Flughafen hat super geklappt.

Die Wohnung selbst ist ein absoluter Traum – blitzsauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit einem Ausblick direkt aus dem Bett, der einem das Gefühl gibt, im Paradies aufzuwachen. Für Familien mit Kindern ist es vielleicht weniger geeignet, da sich die Wohnung in einem Resort befindet, in dem überwiegend Senioren zu Gast waren und ein ruhigeres Ambiente (an beiden Pools) geschätzt wird. Ich finde die Wohnung, verglichen mit vielen anderen hochwertigen Unterkünften, die wir hatten, für Indonesien preislich recht hoch angesetzt, wenn auch die Ausstattung und der Service perfekt waren. Als Ausgangspunkt top! Vielen Dank für den traumhaften Ausblick und den lieben Service!

Amazing apartment in a beautiful location. We were only there for two nights so didn't get to explore the area too much. Very quiet and beautiful little town. If you love the hustle and bustle of Kuta etc, this probably isn't for you but if you are looking for a slower pace area to kick back and relax in a more rural setting, this is the perfect place.

Unser Aufenthalt war schön, die Wohnung war sauber und auch das man den Pool des Resorts benutzen kann war toll. Der Strand direkt bei der Suite ist nicht schön. Der Manager war sehr nett und wir können die Suite weiterempfehlen.

Vi hadde et fint opphold i leiligheten til A&J. Vi fikk god informasjon i forkant, og de var raske med å svare og ordne opp dersom det var noe. Hyggelig vert på stedet, og Bebe var en super hyggelig sjåfør som ordnet transport og turer for oss. Leiligheten har nydelig utsikt, er romslig, ren og har flotte bassenger på hotellet som det er i tilknytning til. Du hører godt bølgene som bryter hele dagen, men for oss var det ikke er problem. Candidasa i seg selv er et veldig rolig sted, men noen lokale butikker og et fåtall restauranter. Maten på hotellet var ikke den beste. Anbefaler heller å gå over gaten til Warung Bintang med sin fantastiske utsikt over rismarkene,eller Loaf Cafe. Vincents er et annet alternativ med god kvalitet (men også høye priser).

Woah 🤯 what a place! I booked Adam & Jean’s place as a special getaway for my partner and I. It far exceeded our expectations as soon as we walked in the door. Going to sleep with the waves right out of your window was a great experience. The tips for local restaurants were on point and did not disappoint. Pariatna and the team were a great help onsite, super friendly and made the check in/out process a breeze. Highly recommend this Airbnb, will travel from Australia again to stay.

Vi hadde to netter i leiligheten som er komfortabel og har en fantastisk utsikt. Den lokale verten Pariata gav god i formasjon om stedet og nærområdet. Han ordnet med all transport vi hadde behov for på en god måte.

We enjoyed our stay in the Ocean Suite. The apartment is exactly as described, located in a nice resort, overlooking the ocean. Our kids loved the in particular the two pools of the resort. Many restaurants and Warungs close by. Our pickup at the airport went very smoothly, Bebe is a good and safe driver. He also drove us for one day to the very nice Virgin beach.

We loved listening to the waves crashing below the spacious and comfortably furnished balcony, and generally found the apartment very well appointed and comfortable. There was quite a bit of trash on the beach just below the balcony, but I enjoyed swimming about 200 meters down the beach (to the right). Unfortunate that there did not seem to be any effort locally to clean the beach.

This is an outstanding property. Everything about the accommodation is first class. Outside of this our communication with the hosts was exemplary. Candidasa is a developing location and may not be to everyone’s needs.

Great family friendly accommodation. The villa is one floor up, overlooking the beach in a quiet villa resort. It feels very private and the floor layout works well with young children as it is enclosed with no need for locking of separated rooms. Hosts A&J have made every effort to make the home comfortable, with everything provided and a great coffee machine 😎 Pariatna the manager and Made who keeps the place beautifully clean both speak excellent English and are delightful. Even though the villa is privately owned within a hotel, all hotel facilities are available to use, pools, spa, bar/restaurant, and hotel staff welcoming and helpful. Local restaurant Dasa by the Sea provide courtesy driver and the food is excellent. Highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely stay 🙏

Everything was perfect, the view is amazing and just like in the pictures. The communication with A&J and also Pariatna, the manager was excellent, they gave us so many tips for restaurants, activities and other stuff. It felt like they really want to make sure we want to have a good time in Candidasa. Thanks for everything.

What a special little piece of paradise! 😍 With all the conveniences of home but in a location that is simply stunning and like Bali in days gone by! Tastefully decorated, with everything you could possibly need thoughtfully considered including the most comfortable bed, access to all the services of the hotel below and a view and sounds of the ocean that makes it a truly unique experience! This is a stunning place. The colour coordination throughout, with in keeping doors and pictures was lovely. The facilities were great. I hardly spoke with A&J as it was not required as Nengah (their representative) was always just a message away and very good. Nengah's son Bebe was also a fantastic driver - both from the airport and around Bali. Would highly recommend this place and stay here again. Very quiet and peaceful.

This accommodation was amazing, the views are phenomenal. The restaurant on site had very tasty food. If you are looking for quiet and relaxing place to stay, this is option. There is also a spa on site, 2 pools, along with beach front access. You will be in walking distance of other restaurants, small markets, and a spa. Please note, this accommodation is 1.5 hours from the airport DPS without traffic and traffic can be brutal so plan accordingly. Also do not leave any sugary food out. Will definitely stay again!

Book this place now! The hosts are so responsive and helpful with recommendations and even helped us get a driver whenever we needed. The place is super clean and beautiful. The balcony overlooking the beach is amazing. You are able to use all the resort pools and restaurant and they have a store that has massages although we didn’t have time to get one. The beach is beautiful but rocky in some places. But this was fun for us to be able to find so many beautiful shells and rocks! The black sand is so pretty and there are plenty of places to explore or lay out on the beach. Adam, Jean, Pariatna and Bebe were the best hosts!

Great villa with a beautiful view over the water. The space was great with lots of room to spread out. The balcony overlooking the beach and ocean was fantastic. Kitchen had all of the supplies we needed and we greatly enjoyed cooking our own meals. Pool was perfect. Can't say enough good things about the space.

Host excellent. arbnb very nice . Television not working . Beach dirty shame. Burning rubbish in morning filling arbnb via open bathroon ,so we put towels at bottom of door to reduce smell. Traffic very smelly and busy. They need to tidy the country a shame, but we are the same in Uk .

We had such a lovely stay…..pictures are exactly true, but the warmth and personal touches are incredible. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us. The beach could use some clean up…..but I did my one bag of garbage removal that is my motto when I stay somewhere so beautiful….could use a few more bags 🙏

Dit is écht een fantastische accommodatie. Alles klopt. Wij voelden ons direct thuis en hebben iedere minuut van ons verblijf genoten. Vooral het grote terras, het prachtige uitzicht en het zwembad onderaan het appartement deden het voor ons. In de omgeving veel leuke eettentjes waar de verhuurder ons uitgebreid over geïnformeerd heeft. Wij hebben ongelooflijk genoten van ons verblijf in dit appartement en kunnen en zullen het iedereen aanraden.

This place was amazing! Spent a month in Bali and this by far was our favourite of the 9 we booked. Great location and a short walk to restaurants and shops. They provided a great breakfast for a small fee , laundry $ , driver if needed$, towels ( beach and bath) , umbrellas, great recommendations for other cheap but good places to eat should you choose not to eat at the on-site restaurant. The place is decorated amazingly. Main bathroom is open concept two showers, toilet sink and floor squeegee. Main bedroom king bed, ensuite bathroom, separate A/C from living room/ dining area which had its own. Huge balcony off the living room/ master bedroom which over looks the pool and the ocean with wonderful views. Kitchen was the best stocked out of all our rentals as far as what you needed to cook your own meals with a water dispenser. Free Wifi, 240 volt to 110 volt converter needed.We wished we could’ve stayed longer but other places to visit.The entire experience here was simply amazing

Totally a beautiful peaceful place , last morning there tho , no hot water , pressure bad but got fixed straight away, plus was noisey early morning as next door was renovating. But over all beautiful

Stunning! One of our all-time favourite Airbnbs. Spotless, flawlessly furnished, spacious and perfectly located on the beach front, it's somehow even nicer than the photos. If you're looking for somewhere with more living space than most bungalow rentals, this place will be like home away from home. It's wonderfully well-equipped: from the abundance of kitchen utensils and bathroom products, to the in-house hairdryer and Netflix account, the attention to detail is impeccable. We felt instantly at home and didn't want to leave even after a week. On sunny days we relaxed on the sun-drenched balcony with the best view in town. On rainy days we had space to spread out indoors, safely spectating on storms over the sea. The owners and staff were so welcoming, attentive and considerate, and helped us with every element of our stay from start to end. We chose this place over all others for our Christmas holiday and couldn't have asked for more. Thanks so much again, we will be back!

A&J provided us with a truly beautiful space to unwind and relax during our stay. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place had been thoughtfully curated for comfort and peace. It was one of the rare accommodations in Bali where we felt the linen and beds were exceptionally fresh and clean, which made a huge difference in our experience. The pool was a highlight, especially for the kids, and the easy access to TV apps made it even more enjoyable to wind down after a day of exploring. Communication with A&J was excellent. We received great recommendations for activities and dining, making it easy to experience the best of the area. Thank you for sharing your wonderful space with us, it was the perfect getaway!

Beautiful apartment with lovely views. Relaxed setting by the small resort with access to two swimming pools and the resort facilities. Also well located to explore the local area including the temples and the water palaces. Helpful recommendations for places to visit with contact to local driver. We really enjoyed a day trip to the beautiful White Sand beach by a boat from the beach just outside the house. Late November was a great time to visit with plenty of sunshine and just a little rain at night occasionally.

We really enjoyed our stay! Very relaxing! A&J provide wonderful recommendations for things to do in Candidasa, which is a a lovely place to visit! Renting a motorbike through the AirBnB is also a wonderful way to explore the area!

We loved our stay at the Ocean Suite! The view was stunning, Pariatna was extremely welcoming and helpful and our pickup and airport drop-off service by Bebe organised by our hosts was very friendly and reliable as well! Stunning place away from the hustle and bustle!! Waking up to an amazing ocean view, incredible sunset. Very special to get a local boat pickup from right in front of our place to go snorkeling!! Can’t beat it for value and beauty!!!

This was our first time staying in Candidasa and it did not disappoint! The town is lovely with the kindest and most welcoming people. The villa was absolutely stunning. So much thought and detail in the decor, we honestly didn’t want to leave. The staff were so helpful and they gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. This might actually be my favourite villa I’ve ever stayed in. Our only regret is not staying longer. This will definitely be a place we stay at for every future Bali trip. Candidasa and Ocean suite villa’s have completely stolen our hearts and we can’t wait to come back!

Very relaxing place, easily can fit 4 people with space and a great oceanfront view. Very peaceful area away from the noise. Hosts were outstanding and responsive.

Wir hatten einen wunderschöne Zeit in der Ocean Suite. Made hat uns nett begrüßt und alles gezeigt, Pariatna war immer für uns da, hatte gute Tipps und half uns bei der Wäsche und dem Rollerverleih. Die Restaurants in Fussnähe waren lecker. Ansonsten ist es eine ruhige Gegend, was wir aber wussten und uns gefallen hat. Die Suite war noch schöner als auf den Fotos und es war herrlich vom Bett oder Balkon aus das Meer zu sehen. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen!

The view from this villa is spectacular - can't be beaten. We also really liked the pools at resort. Lots of restaurants and massage within easy walk. Adam and Jean and Patriana were the most responsive hosts- nothing was too much trouble. The organised transfers were excellent and reliable. Highly recommended

Lieber Adam, lieber Jean, wir bedanken uns für diese schöne Unterkunft mit Meerblick. Das Apartment ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super sauber (vielen Dank an unser fleißiges Zimmermädchen Made, welche das Apartment sehr gründlich gesäubert hat). Der Verwalter Pariatna hat sich um alles gekümmert. Er ist zu allen Tages- und Nachtzeiten ein zuverlässiger Ansprechpartner. Nicht zuletzt hat Bebe (Taxifahrer) uns an viele Sehenswürdigkeiten gefahren. Ich kann ihn nur jedem empfehlen. Das Apartment liegt in einer Hotelanlage und die Nutzung des Pools war uns auch möglich. Adam und Jean werden euch viele Empfehlungen geben, z. B. Für umliegende Restaurants. Wir möchten jedem Besucher das Café „loaf“ mit großartigem Frühstück und das „Vincents“ für die Abendstunden empfehlen. Wir haben aber auch in allen anderen empfohlen Restaurants gegessen und getrunken und es hat überall geschmeckt und wir hatten keinerlei schlechten Erfahrungen gemacht. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung.

Ja wo sollen wir anfangen, es war das beste was uns passieren konnte, die Unterkunft hat eine Top Lage es ist nicht so weit zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten oder zur Nachbar Insel, es ist eine wunderschöne und ruhigere Umgebung, für die Suite gibt es keine Worte weil die hat alles übertroffen!!!! Alles wunderschön eingerichtet, ordentlich, stilvoll! Adam&Jean waren immer vorab zu erreichen und haben sehr viele gute Tips gegeben für Restaurants oder Aktivitäten und vieles mehr. Wir haben 7 Nächte hier verbracht. Ein kunstvoll eingerichtetes Apartment, sehr stylisch und praktisch eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich mit fantastischer Aussicht . Wir haben die Morgenstimmung und die Sonnenuntergänge geliebt. Restaurants, Bars (jeden Abend wurde irgendwo Live-Musik geboten), Minimarts und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten leicht zu Fuss zu erreichen. In der Unterkunft und auf dem Balkon hört man nur das ab und zu kräftige Meeresrauschen. Man darf die Hotelinfrastruktur (Pools, Liegebetten, Rezeption) mitbenutzen. Ideal, um Ausflüge zu machen. Sidemen, Tempel, Tanganan, ... ca. 1 Stunde Fahrzeit zu Mount Agung und Muttertempel Besakih Die White Sand Beach (20 min Fahrzeit) war unser Lieblingsstrand. Tipp: Dort um 6 am zum Sonnenaufgang, gegen 8am kommen alle Fischerboote zurück. Kommunikation war perfekt. Suksme🙏🙏 an Pariatna und Made (Personal). Sie machen einen tollen Job. Die Restauranttipps waren sehr wertvoll und sind empfehlenswert. 100% Weiterempfehlung!

Die ocean suite ist genauso wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft und wir hatten genug Platz mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern. Die 2 Badezimmer sind toll und wenn man möchte kann man gut in der Küche kochen. Es gibt aber auch viele Restaurants und Cafes in der Nähe. Unsere Kinder haben sich über die pools gefreut. Toll war die Betreuung durch pariatna und seinen Sohn bebe. Sie haben uns sehr geholfen und uns den Aufenthalt erleichtert. Wenn wir etwas brauchten haben sie es organisiert oder geholfen. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Het appartement van Jean en Adam is het mooiste waar we ooit zijn geweest…! Het uitzicht is adembenemend, het is zeer smaakvol ingericht (daarom misschien minder geschikt voor een gezin met peuters/kleuters), de ruimte is enorm goed benut n van alle gemakken voorzien. Je hebt het gemak van de voorzieningen van bayshore villa’s, maar zit veel mooier. Op loopafstand zijn restaurants, je kunt basis boodschappen halen bij de bakker en de slijter en Jean en Adam geven goede tips voor restaurantjes. Na onze prachtige rondreis op Bali was het hier alleen nog genieten en relaxen!

A wonderful apartment! Pariatna was very helpful and caring, the interior was tasteful and convenient. A well equipped kitchen, the best bedroom view ever, the pool, nice ocean swimming, restaurants & shops in close walking distance…everything perfect. Jean & Adam frequently wrote if everything is alright…we were very well taken care of. Highly recommended!!

Wir hatten die Unterkunft gewählt, da es uns die Umgebung und die Bilder angetan haben. Was soll ich sagen, in der Realität sieht es noch viel schöner aus als es die Bilder darstellen können. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Vom Ausblick bis zur Einrichtung oder Sauberkeit ist alles herausragend. Der Kontakt mit Jean war sehr angenehm und er hatte viele nützliche und hilfreiche Tipps parat. Das ganze Team vor Ort, vom Villa Manager bis zum Houskeeping waren ebenfalls großartig. Wer etwas Ruhe in einer tollen Umgebung mit einem wunderschönen Rückzugsort sucht ist hier genau richtig.

The Ocean Suite is beautifully decorated, private, and perfectly situated. Our local host, Pariatna, was responsive, resourceful, and kind. The owners, Jean and Adam, provided helpful recommendations for yummy walkable restaurants.

Just returned from a great 4 nights here. It suited our needs perfectly… great space, well designed and styled, with fabulous views (& a great outdoor space to enjoy the views!). Candidasa is much quieter than other parts of Bali we have stayed, but as an active and adventurous couple in our early 50s, that was what we were looking for, and also what we enjoyed. Jeans information and advice re drivers and restaurants were great and very much enhanced our stay. Big thanks to Pariatna and Kobar for ensuring we had a wonderful time while in Candidasa. We definitely hope to return!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Pariatna, der Villa-Manager hat uns sehr gut betreut. Die Reinigung war gründlich und der Wäschewechsel hat gut funktioniert. Die Küche ist gut zum selber kochen. Einkaufen ist in der Nähe möglich (10 Minuten zu Fuss). Der Pool war sauber und auch das Baden ist möglich (Badeschuhe empfohlen). Empfehlungen von Jean sind hilfreich (Restaurants, Rollermiete, Schnorcheltour, Strandbesuch am Virgin Beach)

Brilliant apartment within a villa complex. Views are 💯 - exactly as per the photos. Apartment is really well designed and spacious (only 2 of us staying), very comfortable furniture and bed. Very quiet away from the road. Host provided brilliant recommendations for restaurants which were super helpful. Pariatna manages the property and was great to deal with - including organising transfer from airport. All in all you can’t go wrong here.

This apartment was absolutely amazing! The views were incredible. We were traveling with our 6 month old baby and it was very comfortable. The shared infinity pool is right downstairs and it’s just perfect. There’s also another pool by the restaurant which we also loved. The restaurant was great and also there are other restaurants in walking distance and a lovely bakery for breakfast across the street (Loaf). We only wish we had more nights there! Highly recommend!

It was a very relaxing stay at Adam and Jean's place, the view of the ocean is picturesque. From airport pickup to scooty rent to drop off everything was smooth. Mooi appartement met een geweldig uitzicht, smaakvol ingericht, heerlijk bed, mooi zeegeluid en schone goed ruikende lakens. Dit appartement is zeer geschikt voor koppels, maar in mijn ogen niet zo voor jonge kinderen. Het resort (waar je gebruik van kan maken) iis mooi, goed en veilig maar wij waren de enige zonder grijze haren. Met als gevolg wat boze blikken van andere gasten. De uitzicht is werkelijk fenomenaal en daar hebben wij zeker van genoten als de zon onderging. De communicatie met de manager en zijn zoon de taxichauffeur was zeer goed. Ik raad aan om via hun een vis trip te doen. Goede prijs en een prachtige ervaring. Voor koppels zeker een aanrader!

Ocean suite was beautiful, peaceful, and an overall fantastic stay. Beautiful ocean views and a quick 20 minute scooter ride to the most beautiful beach I have seen ever. Jean and Adam were so helpful and accommodating, providing excellent recommendations and guidance. The building manager, Pariatna, was also very kind and helpful. They even greeted us with a personalized card! We would love to stay here again. Can’t recommend enough!

We loved staying here. The driver was waiting for us at the airport and the manager waiting to greet us when we arrived. We did a snorkeling tour and took the same boat to white sand beach. All arranged by the hotel. Loaf cafe was great for morning coffee. The apartment is tastefully decorated and the bed super comfy

We have just got back from a wonderful 10 days at Jeans place . The staff that look after it are extremely helpful . We would highly recommend Bibi and his dad . Bibi took us to some wonderful places and was always there when we needed him . The check in process worked brilliant as his dad was there to welcome us from the airport with Bibi who had brought us . We ate at some wonderful restaurants just a short walk away . La rough , loaf , lotus and the dinning room . The hotel restaurant also serves very good food and excellent massages again they were a very friendly team . We had our laundry done by the local one just along the road and it was excellent value for money . The apartment is right by the sea so you will never get tired of the view or the open shower to the back . We also loved the shampoo etc my hair has never felt so good ! . We would highly recommend to anyone .

There is only positive things to say. Everything is very well maintained, clean and functional. The villa is furnished with a lot of style and taste. I would particularly like to highlight the fantastic terrace with a direct sea view, from where there was always a pleasant breeze. The sunsets are also fantastic. Will come back.

Diese Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer und hat alles was man braucht. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt und haben es geliebt hier zu übernachten. Alles ist sauber und mit Liebe dekoriert. Die Lage war ruhig und entspannt. Man hat die Möglichkeit die Pools und das Restaurant sowie den SPA des kleinen Resort zu nutzen . Der Gastgeber hat uns einen späteren Check out ermöglicht. Das Frühstück kann man im Restaurant bestellen und essen oder sich direkt in der Unterkunft zubereiten lassen.Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

Helt klart det bästa boendet vi har haft. Hade det funnits mer än 5 stjärnor hade vi gladeligen gett det. Magisk utsikt från balkongen. Lugnt område. Letar man efter nattliv och party ska man nog bo någon annan stans. Bra service med städning. Gemensam pool precis utanför dörren. I närheten finns många Warung där man kan handla mat både för att laga "hemma" eller för att äta på plats. Adam skickar ut tips i olika prisklasser om vad som finns att göra och vart man kan äta. Det enda negativa vi har att säga är att stranden är ganska kort så de blir inga långa strandpromenader. Vägen utanför är ganska trafikerad men det är absolut inte så man märker av det i boendet men när man är ute och promenerar.

It was one of the most fantastic places we have ever had for our vacation. The vila itself was so perfect that we have been just happy simply being there without feeling any additional desires. Adam & Jean were such wonderful hosts as they genuinely celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary by providing us with amazing flowers attached with hand written celebration message which made us so touched. The manager of the vila, Pariatna, was extremely kind and helpful making our stay as convenient as possible. His son, Bebe, privided us with very convenient transfortation service with affirdable price which made our trip much easier. I definitely recommend you to experience this special place and wonderful people for your vacation!

Traumhafter Aufenthalt im Ocean Suit. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation lief ohne Problem über den Messenger und eine Antwort ging schnell. Wir haben viele Tipps zu der Umgebung bekommen und konnten diese nur bestätigen. Die Anlage ist ruhig gelegen und man hört nur das Meer. In der Anlage gibt es ein Restaurant und einen Spa Bereich wo man gute Massagen buchen kann. Ein Roller wurde uns über die Vermieter zu einem fairen Preis vermittelt. Wir kommen gerne wieder, es war traumhaft bei euch :)!

We loved this rental by the sea. The views were spectacular and the town was much more accessible than Ubud. We found the recommended places to visit spot on. Many of the restaurants knew Jean and Adam and were very welcoming. The apartment was well equipped and the design was over the top beautiful. We spent much time in the delightful endless pool.

Amazing dream holiday stay, right next to the ocean with access to both pool and beach. The view is to die for, and the waves have a very soothing and recreational effect on tired city souls such as ours. The host provided us with everything you could possibly need, with a skilled team consisting of an experienced house manager, staff for cleaning and also a possible driver, who was also very helpful with arranging snorkeling trips. Highly recommended stay, you won't miss anything here :)

Book it!!! We are so happy to have stayed in the Ocean Suit, it is really something. Resortarea was a bit smaller then we thought, town was more quiet then we would’ve wished for, BUT, the Ocean Suit made it completely worth it! We even enjoyed the rainy days we had because that ment staying at home. Snuggling w baby in bed watching the rain and listening to thunder. We also had the pleasure of meeting Adam and Jean, who were so so kind and helpfull. Pariatna, the manager, was really keen to help and willing to go that extra mile to make sure we had a good stay. We stayed w our 13 months old son and it worked very well, putting in an extra babycrib that is. All in all, can’t recommend staying here enough.

What a piece of heaven. Everything was easy, everything was as described and everything was beautiful. Such an amazing place to sit and relax. The cleaner coming to ensure the apartment was spotless was lovely too. The apartment is as beautiful and relaxing as the pictures show. Bebe took us to White Sands Beach which was only 30 minutes away and is a clean and stunning place to swim and snorkel. Thank you for giving us the relaxing holiday that we hoped for! Jean's place was beautiful, cozy, super clean with million dollar view. We will be more than happy to come again and recommend it to anyone who is coming to Bali. Dies war meine erste über Airbnb gebuchte Unterkunft und wahrscheinlich bin ich jetzt für alle weiteren verdorben :) Es war einfach nur perfekt: Ausstattung, Ausblick, Vorort-Team, Lage am Meer,.... Wirklich traumhaft. Man muss sich aber darauf einstellen, dass die Brandung schon sehr laut ist. Entweder man gewöhnt sich nach zwei, drei Tagen daran (an denen man Nachts schon mal wach wird) oder nutzt Ohrenstöpsel. Mehr "Einschränkungen" gibt es aber wirklich nicht. Das Team bestehend aus Pariatna, Sri und Kobar ist super nett und hilfsbereit, Restaurants/Laundry/etc. sind schnell erreichbar, das Meer ist direkt vor der Haustür, in der Küche findet man alles und was ich auch noch hervorheben möchte: in der Küche hat es einen Wasserspender, den man nutze kann und der kostenlos nachgefüllt. Wirklich toller Service! Abschließend kann ich mich wirklich nur dafür bedanken, dass ich Jean&Adams Unterkunft nutzen durfte.

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben - der Ausblick herrlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Jean and Adam’s space was gorgeous and right in front of the ocean. The property’s manager Pariatna and the helper Made gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. Pariatna’s son Bebe picked us up from our previous location and even dropped us off to our next stop making everything very convenient for us. The entire ocean suite team was beyond hospitable and we would definitely come back and recommend the place to our friends and family. This place is fantastic. We enjoyed our three nights from the beginning. Everything was working and the details of the interior are impressive. For example, there are four showers!! The beds are supercomfy and the A/C units work efficiently and are not noisy. The welcome by the manager Mr. Pariatna was hearty and we felt at home right away. Also our driver, Mr. Bebe, who was arranged by Mr. Pariatna was great and drove safe and passively. Go there and you will be happy!!

Rigtig gid kommunikation med Pariatna som er manager for lejligheden. Han skaffede os chauffør som vi benyttede til White sand Beach. Jean og Adam udleverede masser af god information om områder samt restauranter som vi benyttede os meget af. Super lækkert ophold 😍

The Ocean Villa is a beautiful sea view condo! I loved waking up to the ocean view and being lulled away by the crashing waves. Kitchen is well stocked to make your own food. Very comfortable and gorgeous!

Unser Urlaub in dieser Unterkunft war bisher unglaublich und von vorne bis hinten perfekt. Bereits vor unserem Urlaub war die Kommunikation bestens und schnell und es gab eine Menge an Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants und Generelles über Bali. Für den Transfer vom Flughafen besteht die Möglichkeit, einen privaten Fahrer zu nutzen, der einen innerhalb von 1,5 - 2 h in die Unterkunft bringt. Der Check-in war angenehm und wir wurden vom tollen Villa-Manager persönlich empfangen. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet und übertraf sogar noch unsere Erwartungen, die wir anhand der Fotos und der Beschreibungen hatten. Zudem gibt es einen Spender mit Trinkwasser, der regelmäßig nachgefüllt wird. Die Betten sind super bequem und zusammen mit dem fantastischen Ausblick wird es einem manchmal etwas schwer gemacht, morgens aufzustehen. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jedem sofort und ohne zu zögern empfehlen. Glücklicherweise konnten wir unseren Aufenthalt hier sogar noch um ein paar Tage verlängern.

Great stay and beautiful beachfront view all around! Clean, nice and relaxing to come back from outings and tours. Pariatna, the kind manager, responded to all of our needs promptly. His son, Bebe, was our wonderful and patient driver for the week, who took us to Amed and anywhere we needed. Perfect hosts with great advice and tip on the area. Always responsive and friendly! If you are in Candidasa, this is a must stay! Avoid the resort on Bayshore, expensive and rude. We also experienced terrible facials service there! Go to Loaf across the street for breakfast and amazing coffee!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. We loved the ambiance of the condo. Location was fabulous- private as it was on the 2nd floor right on the beach and in walking distance to several restaurants and stores. The local villa manager was response to our needs- refill of water jug and helping with transportation. Wonderful place and highly recommend!

The place is beautiful, comfortable, and well located. We spent two nights there and compared to other places we've been in Bali with the same high standards we found it a bit overpriced. However, if you are looking for a sea view with a warm welcome we definetely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Ocean Suite. The location is perfect, views amazing, apartment is stunning and all the staff are very helpful and accommodating. We took advantage of the restaurant suggestions from Jean and Adam and loved them all. This was our first time to Candidasa and will definately be returning. It reminded us of Bali 30 years ago! If your into an active holiday we would highly recommend hiking with local guide Ketutsomat. It was amazing and a very cool experience. Thank you Jean and Adam, you have a very special home!

We stayed at Jean's place as a family with two young kids ( 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 years old) and it was our favorite spot to stay at Bali. The apartment itself including furniture, the beautiful outdoor area and the amazing views are just perfect. Plus the communication was super easy and smooth and especially the local host and main contact was super helpful to support with scooter renting, trip organization and other recommendation. Jean and Adam have created a beautiful, peaceful haven which was even better in real life than the pictures, especially the stunning views from the bathroom and bedroom! It was excellent to have the amenities of the resort readily available but also to have local expertise and guidance on hand via a very friendly and approachable local team. The apartment is in a great location to explore Candidasa town on foot, which we loved for it's quiet and relaxed vibe compared to Bali's bigger tourist centres. Adam and Jean's recommendations were all spot on and we felt like we were being greeted by old friends when we mentioned we were staying, particularly on our trip to White Sands Beach. Highly, highly recommended for travellers like us who enjoy intrepid luxury!

When we first came, we were surprised because the interior of the villa is amazing. We were greeted with an amazing Candidasa ocean view which can even be seen from inside the villa so clearly (we were so lucky to see full rainbow on the beach 😍😍) Jean and Adam were very responsive and helped us in booking villas and providing good recommendations regarding activities to do around the villa such as: - tourist attractions (we were visited the Virgin Beach and Bukit Asah, it has stunning beach view from the top of the hill) - restaurants (we did try some of the restaurants and they were very good) While staying at the villa, we were assisted by Pariatna at check-in and Made for the cleanliness of the villa. They were very helpful. With all the beauty of the villa and the surrounding area, actually we regretted only staying for 2 nights :) We will definitely come back to this villa on our next vacation to Bali. This villa make us love Candidasa even more 😍😍

We have enjoyed a lot of ABN places. Some more expensive and supposedly more exclusive. This place was the best ever. Right on the beach, volcanic sands, wonderful decor, great staff service and superb location . Jean ( and Adam) were superb hosts. Great to deal with , good ideas for the area and truly proud of their “happy place” as they should be. We shall return.

We had the most relaxing and enjoyable 4 night stay in this charming, spacious and totally comfortable apartment - and all the other reviews are completely true, the view is seriously gob-smackingly beautiful! We liked the location, on the edge of Candidasa, opposite some rice fields, and a favourite morning walk was to wander up the quieter more local road past Warung Bintang. There were some nice restaurants closeby for lunch/dinner (Warung Bintang, Lotus Seaview and the resort restaurant) and, if you don’t fancy the walk down the noisy main road to other restaurants, it’s always worth asking if they offer transport (both Warung LuPutu and Vincent’s will do this). Being attached to Bayshore Villas had lots of advantages, including them offering a very reasonable day rate while we waited for a very late flight. Communication with Adam and Jean was excellent and they gave lots of information - many thanks to you both, and to Pariatna and Made. It was a joy staying in Ocean Suite.

Lovely villa right on the water with stunning panoramic views. Right next to an infinity pool with access to a spa and restaurant! The staff on site was very kind and we really enjoyed our stay!

Where do we start with how amazing this place is…… The accommodation is beautiful with classic Balinese furniture and carvings around the place. The kitchen was more than well equipped, Jean and Adam have thought of everything. The bathrooms were amazing and the bed was super comfy. The views from the balcony are spectacular, sitting in the mornings drinking coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine listening to the waves lap up onto the shore is just the best. There was only one negative we could think of…….we had to leave!!!

Our one week stay at Adam and Jeans place was fabulous. We had complete privacy, outstanding sea views and a beautiful apartment right on the ocean.. The outdoor living was situated perfectly to allow us to enjoy the coastal scenery without leaving our terrace. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you could possibly need for a few days or a few months. The Bay Shore Villas Resort has great facilities which we enjoyed especially the Spa and Restaurant. The infinity pool was perfect and as the sea was quite rough during our ‘full moon’ stay we tended to use it frequently. Would highly recommend.

Amazing 8 night stay at the villa with breathtaking panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, small islands nearby and beach area. Well-equipped accommodation with Balinese furnishings and wall sculptures. Resort included infinity pools, restaurant, and garden areas for relaxing and spa/massage facilities. Both Adam and Jean were superb hosts. Service provided by the villa manager, Pariatna and his staff was excellent. Would definitely come back again!!

So private, spacious with a wonderful everchanging 180 degree view; waves crashing at your feet ❤️ Superb attention to detail with USB international plugs, mood lighting, outdoor shower and fan, unlimited fresh water. Lux feel with huge double shower indoor/outdoor bathroom, two pools, day spa and restaurant on site! Easy access to day activities and great responsive hosts! I don't know where to start! From the start Jean and Adam were prompt, so helpful and willing to assist in any way with info about staying in beautiful Candidasa! Nothing was too much trouble . From our arrival in Denpasar their manager Pariatna was amazing ( he helped us so much)and our pickup and delivery with our driver Nyoman from airport to Ocean Suite was seamless, friendly and fun . When we arrived we were overjoyed by our welcome and the villa is beyond amazing- the views , the sheer comfort of the suite is spectacular! The interior is gorgeous!! Nyoman also drove us to the palaces - great driver ! The Bayshore staff also so beautiful and the grounds are tropical and so great to come home to after exploring. I cant recommend Ocean Suite highly enough! Honestly it was the complete package in a part of Bali that is so special and so much to do! Thanks Adam, Jean, Pariatna , Nyoman and Made - fantastic team With all our love to you all in continuing to share your special place

Perfect location and value for money.

An absolute gem of a place, in a rather secluded part of Bali. Ideal for a beach holiday. Halal food is scarce, but with complete kitchen amenities, cooking was made easy. Jean has been a great and responsive host. A special shoutout to Kadek for being an excellent Supir! My wife & I had a blast during our honeymoon here and would love to visit again in future! What a treat this was! For my final nights in bali it was exactly what I needed. A 5* apartment on the sea. I have been fortunate enough to visit pre-pandemic and since then they have made some renovations which has truly made this place a home from home. I cannot fault it! All your home comfort luxuries with a bonus balcony to sit with a G&T and watch the sunset! What more could you want! Highly recommend! Thank you - I will be back!

Heaven on Earth Well just WOW. It’s hard to find enough superlatives to describe this magical place. The 180 degree views from the main bedroom, the sitting room and the expansive terrace are just so breathtaking, you have to pinch yourself. Waves crashing to the shore will lull you into a wonderful sleep, and somehow give you an overwhelming feeling of peace. It’s my second time at this amazing property and I didn’t think you could improve on perfection, but it’s had some essential maintenance and beautiful enhancements made post - Covid period and is better than ever. Just gorgeous. It’s situated in a peaceful resort on the beachfront of beautiful Candidasa, and the bonus is, the food at their little restaurant - also with marvellous ocean views, is seriously good. You can see the volcano from the semi open double shower/bathroom, which is very private, and everywhere you look are million dollar views. I’ve stayed at many, many beautiful places in Bali and beyond, but this one is a winner. It’s a thousand times better than the photos. Moreover, you couldn’t hope for kinder, more obliging hosts. Thanks so much Jean and Adam - I can’t wait for the opportunity to return.

Beautiful studio apartment with an absolutely stunning view to wake up to overlooking the ocean. A bit more pricey than most places in the area but worth it for a little luxurious romantic getaway. The hosts were very communicative and sent through a lot of great tips of things to see and do and eat in the area (do yourself a favour and just book a table at Vincent's every night of your stay, without a doubt my favourite restaurant in the whole of Bali). The staff at the adjoining resort were so warm and hospitable. Bit of a hiccup with the water not working one afternoon, and the outdoor shower that is pictured in the listing photos is no longer functional but apart from that we loved our stay and would definitely come back again. Jean and Adam were lovely hosts and were super responsive. They were flexible with our date change, sent us loads of useful information before our stay and were generous with our little mishap with the tv remote. There were a few minor things needing fixing in the unit since the owners were unable to visit during the pandemic but Jean and Adam were quick to respond and offer solutions. The resort was super relaxing and the views from the unit were superb. We also really enjoyed the ocean breeze and the sound of the surf. We loved Warung Bintang just across the street for lunches and dinners and Loaf cafe for breakfast. A 20-25 minute inexpensive car ride gets you to White Sand/Virgin beach. We visited beaches in Sanur, Legian, Uluwatu, Pemuteran and Lovina and this was our favorite. Gorgeous, clean, uncrowded beach with clear water and decent cafes. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Looking forward to visiting again.

As many of the other reviewers have mentioned, the pictures actually undersell the location and the view. The view, the beach, the property, and the staff were all incredible. The hosts, although not located in Bali, were highly responsive and leave you with tons of information to help answer any potential questions during your stay. Such a beautiful environment and Great hospitality! Jean and Adam made my stay an amazing experience. They were so helpful with assisting suggestions for the area and even accommodated a great complimentary breakfast in the morning! The place was spacious, bright, and accompanied with everything you need. The property is emerged with ponds, nature, and two lovely pools. The staff was very kind. Overall the view was my cherry topper, right on coast you can hear the ocean melodies which created such an ambiance that I would look forward waking next to each day. It was a perfect holiday. We stayed at Adam's/Jean's place for 4 nights. We really enjoy our stay there. Every night we slept very well. They also gave free breakfast for us. There are many restaurants & minimarts nearby. The view from the master bedroom is so magnificent. We hope we can return again one day 🙏🏻

An exceptional place to relax, find inspiration or get an energy boost from salty air, stunning views of the bay and sunsets from a comfort of a bed or private terrace! You’ll find everything you might need inside, wifi connection was pretty reliable. Service was great as well. Jean and Adam are extremely responsive, they gave us all of the info and useful tips regarding our stay and food in the area. I’d stay there again for longer!

You will not be disappointed with this place! When you wake and see the fantastic view of the ocean, it creates a natural energy boost. So you can hold on to the coffee a little longer and take it a l in. The hosts are excellent, and the staff was very accommodating. It's a great deal!! I will be back for sure!

Place and stay is amazing. It is located inside a villa and easily has the best view of the ocean and you can hear the crashing of the waves onto the beach and other structures. No real sand on the beach but I am not a beach person but you can still go out and enjoy it. The pools are very clean and the Balinese food onsite was great. The location was perfect. Only took 10-20 min walk to anything worth going to. We rented a scooter to make it even quicker (1-5 min). Staff and everyone in Candidasa are so nice and helpful. We will definitely rent this property again!

This condo is beautiful! I woke up every morning to a panoramic ocean and volcano view (FROM BED!) then prepared the coffee and tea provided in unit and enjoyed it on the lovely balcony overlooking the pool and beach. It’s a peaceful location with lots of restaurants and shops within a 10 minute easy walk, and the traffic is quite a bit lighter than in the south, so renting a scooter is not such an intimidating prospect. The beach and ocean at the villa are really clean compared to many other areas, so swimming and snorkeling are easy to do just outside of your door. I loved this villa and location so much that I extended my stay an extra two nights! This is a 10/10 for the location, amenities and overall experience. And the hosts and on-site staff were great- responsive, flexible and accommodating :)

Jean & Adam’s place was absolutely wonderful. My wife and I came to Bali on our honeymoon and one of the things we wanted to experience was a quiet villa by the ocean. Jean & Adam’s place was exactly that! The villa is located on the eastern coast which is a relatively quieter part of Bali but less commercialised and therefore more authentic. The villa is decorated in Balinese style and also has all the modern amenities one would require to enjoy a comfortable stay. They have paid a lot of attention to detail. The terrace has a gorgeous view of the ocean, with a very cool sea breeze to keep us company as we spent all our evenings there. Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves gently rolling on the beach was indeed a surreal experience. As hosts, Jean & Adam were terrific and we couldn’t ask for more. Even though they were not there, they started communicating with us beforehand. They provided very clear instructions on how to reach their place, how to access the villa, how to go about the place and what to watch out for. They kept in constant touch, ensuring that our stay was going well and whether they could help out with anything. They provided some wonderful recommendations for local haunts and eateries, we tried 3 of them and loved all. Overall, it was an amazing experience and very good value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a similar experience. If I come back, this is the place I would definitely be staying at.

A beautifully decorated space with wonderful views out to sea and everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. A great place to visit if you want to experience a quieter and less touristy part of Bali. Jean and Adam were brilliant hosts, very quick to respond to messages and they gave us loads of helpful tips and information in the lead up to our stay. We were well looked after by the hotel staff and enjoyed being able to use the hotel facilities. There is some building work currently taking place at the next door villa with some noise, but Jean and Adam did notify us in advance and made sure we were happy to continue with our booking.

This place is simply amazing. To be right on the ocean and have beautiful ocean views from every room was an experience I’ve never had before. Especially for the price. The house is better than the pictures in my opinion, it is beautifully decorated, soothing to the senses. Dual semi outdoor showers and a sunny balcony for sun bathing or lounging. The hosts are extremely helpful, polite, generous and kind. The area is awesome too. We would love to come back another time.

Jean's place provides great options, offering 1 large bathroom and one en-suite, one bedroom with the option to convert to 2 bedrooms. If you want to self cater it has the facilities to do this or just go to the onsite restaurant which is really good. Walk down the stairs to the infinity pool and sun loungers or go to the 2nd pool for a drink at the swim up bar or just stay on your own huge private balcony and enjoy the sea breeze, the sound of the waves and fantastic views. The Ocean suite has been tastefully renovated with some lovely Balinese art work and mirrors and with the most comfortable bed and pillows. A great place to relax.

The Second floor unit is positioned to give Stunning views from both the bedroom and the lounge suite. It had a Very comfortable large bed with views to the ocean. And the outdoor patio had access to the deck from both the bedroom and the lounge suite. Situated only steps to the ocean and the pool. The unit was located on the grounds of the Bayshore Villas. A very comfortable inviting and beautiful place. Meals and service at the Bayshore Villas restaurant was exceptional. The staff offered that typical Balinese warmth and friendliness. The communication exchanges with Jean and Adam was immediate, friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this place. I’m sure we will be back to enjoy the place again.

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful place. It was even better than on the pictures. The rooms are very big and the view is amazing. There are also two pools next to the apartment. I highly recommend and would come again.

We stayed 3 nights and we really loved it ! The appartement was very clean and spacious (2 bathrooms and a large terrace). The view is absolutely amazing and the sunsets there are very special !!! Jean and Adam were very available and nice, they gave us the best recommandations for the area (restaurants and activities). The staff there is very kind and friendly. The aera is not too crowed with tourists and It was a great opportunity to see something else in Bali. We got a taxi (Wayan) who was amazing and showed us around. We would recommend it 100% !!

We really enjoyed 10 days at Jean’s apartment. It’s a great space with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. The apartment is located in the Bayshore Villas and Bungalows resort which has nice grounds, pools and staff in a great location, easy walk from restaurants, bars etc. Jean and Adam are great hosts, very responsive and thoughtful. We’ll be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the oceanfront villa. The view was amazing and it was sparkling clean. Great care was taken to provide a lovely, beautifully decorated space. Having access to all the amenities at Bayshore villas was such a lovely bonus. Two beautiful pools, spa, nice restaurant, and a wonderful staff . We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Although the owners were not on property, they were very quick to respond to any of our needs. We loved our stay and highly recommend! Top shelf!

This is an amazing place. Jean responded promptly whenever I had questions. The space has a lot of natural light and great air conditioning. Everything is comfortable and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is set next to a pool which overlooks the ocean, so you literally have to go downstairs for a swim. The suite's clean as a whistle. We had a wonderful view of the sea from the terrace or directly from the bed. Jean and Adam gave helpful tips for activities and restaurants. We would always book the Ocean Suite in Candidasa again!

We just came back from our dream vacation at the ocean suite. We stayed there for 11 nights and would definitively go back if possible. Not only are Jean and Adam great hosts who always answer your questions as quickly as possible and try to make your stay as amazing as they can. Also the location is breathtaking and mesmerizing. The apartment is only a couple of meters away from the ocean, very clean and neat. Additionally, it is part of the bayshore resort which we thought to be very relaxing as there was always helpful and friendly staff around to answer our questions, to book tours or to have a little chat. We can only highly recommend this place if you are looking for a calm and stress free vacation.

My two girls and I really enjoyed this vacation because of the location, hospitality, and friendliness of the staff. If you are looking for a place to stay while you experience the real Bali, this is an excellent place for you. It is located near the center of candidasa which is out of the hustle and bustle of the major areas in Bali. If you are looking for a more modern place to stay, closer to town and shopping, this may not be the place for you. We truly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely stay here again when we come back. We were very sad when we had to leave. The staff will hook you up with everything you need, including tours to various parts of the island so that even if you stay here and don’t stay in the busier parts of Bali, it will allow you to spend a day there and come back to your relaxing and secluded villa. The staff was extremely nice and kind and know exactly how to provide incredible hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

This air BnB will take your breath away as soon as you walk in ! The views from the bedroom are incredible and I don’t think we will be able to compare to anywhere else, it’s definitely one of a kind ! Me and my partner had a lovely two nights here after staying in Seminyak. It was great just to relax ! The work that Jean and Adam have put into the renovations really shows. Just everything about it is incredible ! The restaurant in the complex is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the staff are lovely. If you are wanting a relaxed stay then this is the place for you.

We loved our stay in the Ocean Suite, the newly remodeled space is beautiful. Candidasa is a wonderful place to be, with lots to explore and yummy food. Don’t be afraid to venture out on a scooter. The people of Bali were so nice and helpful and we can’t wait to come back and stay here again!!

This is a great Villa. Position Position Position is the key. Views across to bay and sea from the bedroom, lounge and balcony. Unique bathroom with views over the surrounding palms trees. Excellent place to spend time with your partner relaxing by the Bali Sea, swimming in the resort pools, snorkelling, fishing dining in-house or at the various local restaurants. In-house spa or visit the local Andre’s Spa for relaxing massages. Friendly staff who are only to happy to accommodate your needs. It’s our 2nd visit and we’ll be back.

The apartment is located right on the beach. You can see the sunsets from the bed. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen has everything you need. We used a lot of services from the nearby hotel which was a nice and easy add on for everything needed (breakfast, drinks, dinner). The infinity pool right downstairs was absolutely beautiful with a nice view and very calm because a lot of guets use the bigger pool in the middle of the hotel! We can absolutely recommend staying at Jean‘s place!

Unbelievable views of the ocean. Spacious and comfortable apartment. Shower was private but also in the elements and no mosquitos the entire trip. We ordered at the restaurant and they delivered to the apartment which was great! Loved every minute at Jean and Adam’s place, will definitely book again!

Super contact avec Jean et Adam, très gentils et arrangeants tout comme le personnel. Le logement est super, très bien situé et la vue magnifique ! En revanche ne prévoyez pas de vous baigner, les plages de Candidasa ne sont pas adaptées car très sales ( en tous cas lors de notre venue)

Ocean suit was just a dream ! No reasons to go away from there ! The hosts are not there but they are sending you every information you need ! The suit is located exactly on the beach so you have beautiful view and the sound of the waves ! (Not a beach where to swim) But the host will give you nice tips for beaches next to you !( local people walking around and telling you for boat tour with snorkeling-a must to do ) if you eat out you should try the hungry crocodile and go for breakfast or brunch at loaf cafe Almost right next to the villa ! Also take with you sunblock and moskito spray and maybe an moskito batarie for the room ! Thank you jean & Adam helping us and surprise us with such an beautiful suit , can just not explain what we live ! Next time maybe for more days !!

We had a great 2 night stay in Candidasa while on our honeymoon. The villa's location was wonderful and the host was very communicative. He messaged us prior to arrival with recommendations for the area that were very helpful. We ate at the Crazy Kangaroo and Vincent's, both were great but Vincent's was amazing! We also took advantage of the boat docked behind the villa to take a snorkeling trip at Blue Lagoon and spend the afternoon at Virgin beach.

Jean and Adam's place is absolutely gorgeous. The view from there place is stunning and very private. The pool is also right below you and very convenient and right on the ocean for a perfect view. It had everything we needed and the staff working there are very kind and friendly. There is also a good restaurant there in the resort and many other good ones near by. We really loved the Crazy Kangaroo and watched a fire show there. Me and my partner had a wonderful stay and will be coming back for sure.

Jeans place is at an amazing location and its so cozy that you run the risk of cancelling all your plans and deciding to recline on the sofa in the balcony with a bintang in your hand. Great snorkeling and scuba diving locations close by and if you want beat the heat, you can dip into the superb infinity pool or you can always ascend mount Agung that is just a short drive from here. You have small warungs to cafes that have live music close to the place, or you can just catch a bite from the restaurant at the resort where this home is located. My family and me enjoyed our stay to the fullest and we recommend anyone who is looking for a laid back and calming atmosphere that Bali has to offer unlike the hustle and bustle of Kuta or Seminyak.

We had very lovely stay in beautiful ocean front apartment. Owners are really helpful and kind. They gave us a lot of informations about what to do in Bali. Restaurant at the resort has very tasty food and great drinks :) Thank you Jean and Adam! :)

A nice place to stay with a lot of restaurant around. Easy access to east bali and Denpasar with private driver or on scooter. Easy to get in contact with Jean and he gave us a bunch of good suggestions of what to do in Bali. The apartment is in a resort so the staff there was very friendly and helped us if there was any problem. We would definitively stay at Jean's apartment again.

We stayed at Jeans house for 2 nights.It was very cozy,in this apartment you can find everything you need for living,and view from terrace is most beautiful thing in this house,very enjoy to stay there,hope we will come back to this wonderful place!Thank you!

Jean and Adam's place is an absolute dream. The view is incredible and the pool and ocean are lovely to swim in, very quiet as well! Jean and Adam were so helpful and organised a taxi to pick me up from the airport, it really took the stress out of travelling. I would recommend this place to everyone, I had the best time there!

Jean & Adam are great hosts. Even though they were not in Bali at the time, they kept in touch and made us feel welcome. They always answered within couple of hours or even a few minutes. The staff at the Bayshore Resort was also extremly helpful with every request or question we had. Especially with the earthquake and tsunami warning, it felt good to have hotel staff taking care and making you feel safe as much as they could. Thank you again Jean & Adam!

absolutely loved this place! Jean and Adam's place was absolutely divine- with ocean views as far as you could see! The 1 bedroom apartment was incredible comfortable with a gorgeous bathroom, and lots of considerate little touches that made it like a fabulous home away from home. We stayed 7 mights and fell in love with the huge deck (much bigger than I expected) sipping coffee in the morning while the sun rose over the ocean. I loved having access to the resort which had some really amazing food - (and some of the best cocktails I have ever had in Bali) - and yet having the privacy of the apartment. As hosts they were really helpful- and understanding when there was a driver booking mixup- and they were available with fantastic restaurant suggestions to enjoy our holiday. A fantastic stay- I highly recommend it if you are looking for something unusual, comfortable with stunning views in Candidasa!

Jean and Adams place was the perfect surprise on a holiday gone (a little) wrong - due to the closing of the Gili islands. We were kind of sad, but when we arrived everything was forgotten. Beautiful place and sorroundings, very Nice staff, Nice City and very friendly locals. Both Jean and Adam was very kind and did all in their power to make it a perfect stay. We were surprised of the size of the place. When we booked it sounded very small - Which it wasnt! The Open/outdoor shower was amazing. Jean had mailed us favorite restaurants and things to see, made it really easy and fast to plan a couple of days. All in all we were really happy and will be coming back for sure!

Amazing! Everything was perfect. Pretty garden, beautiful flat, breathtaking wiew. We fell in love with this lovely place. The beach with shiny black sand was amazing. Als wir nach einer 5 tägigen geführten Rundreise durch ganz Bali, die unsere Nerven extrem beansprucht hat, weil der Reiseleiter sie eher zu einer Kaffeefahrt mit unnötigen Stopps in zahlreichen Handwerksdörfern umfunktioniert hatte, in Candidasa ankamen, waren wir auf das Schlimmste gefasst. Unsere Erwartungen waren am Nullpunkt und der total freundliche Empfang durch die Damen an der Rezeption und dem Kofferjungen konnte uns vorerst nicht aufheitern. Als wir jedoch unser Apartment sahen, trauten wir unseren Augen nicht. War das noch Bali? Die Ausstattung war fantastisch, die Möbel waren geschmackvoll, es gab einen riesigen Balkon und die Küche war auch super ausgestattet. Das offene Badezimmer war ebenfalls wunderbar und bis auf ein paar kleine Geckos und winzige Ameisen hat uns niemand einen Besuch abgestattet. Dieser Ort war perfekt, um sich von den Strapazen der Rundreise zu erholen. Direkt vor der Tür lag der wunderbare Infinity-Pool, den wir meist ganz alleine genutzt haben, weil die anderen Hotelgäste von Bayshore Villas den großen Pool nutzten. Die Aussicht auf einige kleine Inseln und ganz am Horizont Nusa Penida und den Hafen war fantastisch. Der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war unglaublich zuvorkommend und zuverlässig. Dieser Ort war wirklich paradiesisch. Danke für alles.

We stayed in the appartment for 5 nights and it was really wonderful. The appartment is within a Hotel Villa complex which makes everything very comfortable as you can use all the offers from the Hotel but you don't need to. The People in the Hotel are all very friendly and help you whereever they can. After a short walk you reach several Bars, Restaurants and shops. The appartment has a kitchen, a living room, an open bath room and a bedroom. All is furnished very tasteful. While having a shower you have a look at palmtrees and the sky. From the bedroom and the balcony you have a very nice view at the sea and the coast. We loved it sitting just there at the balcony watching and hearing the Ocean. Also during the night you hear the Ocean as the appartment is next beside. For us this made such a calming atmosphere that we slept very well. We would love to stay there again and highly recommend it.

Looking for a hideaway places with the ocean view just right in front of your room, this place just served you right. Recommended for your honeymoon. You'll have everything you need inside, completed with a kitchen, spacious living room, outdoor bathroom and ocean view bedroom. Jean is a great host, you will fell more like stay in a service apartement than in air bnb, since Jean will accomodate your needs through bayshore staff as soon as possible. And it is really easy to communicate with Jean. Don't hestitate, find a peaceful Bali with ocean view here!

The Bayshore villas were amazing! The full staff helped us with everything from excursions inland to massages and daily meals. The chef at Bayshore is phenomenal and we found little reason to ever leave the villa. Two pools with 24 hour access, a full bar, day spa, and wonderful food available all day. The views were second to none and some days we just laid in bed or stayed on our balcony because the view was just too wonderful and relaxing to leave. If you get a chance to see from the balcony the small turtle who lives just off the shore, we've named him "Steve" and tell him we said hello! The only difficult thing about Bayshore was saying goodbye... We would go back in an instant!

We had an incredible experience at the Ocean Suite. The view is extraordinary and the staff was very friendly. We got replies from Jean within half an hour and many useful tips for lunch, breakfast and dinner. The Suite itself has an incredible view, was very clean and tidy. We also used the inhouse laundry service in the evening and got it the very next day. Absolutely worth a visit again. Wish we have had a few more days here. I have had a lovely time in this home. Lovely view, nice people who respond quickly and very clean. Those who worked there were also VERY helpful and VERY nice. They help you with everything. very satisfied! :)

Привет, ребята. Хочу еще раз поблагодарить за прекрасный и уютный дом с видом на океан. Все было на высоте, думаю, что еще увидимся ;-) Когда бронировал жилье, фотографии вызывали много вопросов, но ребята убедили что все ОК и я ни капли не пожалел. Отдыхали у них неделю. Фотографии с трудом передают атмосферу и удобство данной квартиры. В вашем распоряжение весь второй этаж домика, который включает в себя огромную кровать с видом на океан, просторный балкон, уютная гостиная и кухня, а так же отсутствие соседей. В номере 2 кондиционера и 3 потолочных вентилятора, свежая мебель, ТВ и кухонные приборы. Каждый день чистят бассейн и всегда можно найти место на бесплатных лежаках. Само жилье находится на территории отеля, но вот завтраки у них дорогие и не особо вкусные... ходили на завтрак в местные кафе. На территории отеля есть аренда скутера и еще 2 больших бассейна. Народу на территории мало, что очень приятно. Обязательно еще вернемся сюда за очередной порцией релакса. До скорой встречи ;-)

So good we extended by 2 nights! From the very first contact it was clear that this would be a special stay. This is the IDEAL place to arrive in Bali and recover from jet lag. It has a commanding view of the ocean, the palms, and sunsets. The pool (quiet pool of 2) is immediately downstairs, and the resort - Bayshore Villas - is a relaxed and laid-back place to be. The pictures represent the space very well. Bedroom overlooking the ocean with door to the outdoor terrace, large open-space living-room with studio kitchen, and "outdoor" WC at the back. All super comfortable and well kept. Bed is large, firm and comfy, and the space is great for a couple. A couple things to note - first... the flat is directly beside the ocean, so spectacular to look at but the wind and waves can be quite loud (at night, so earplugs were used on one night). Second the place is upstairs, and the stairs are a bit narrow and steep... no problem, but worth noting. Finally the bathroom and shower are open to the outside, and although there were very few mosquito's we did have some small "visitors" ... all harmless!!! Bayshore villas itself has a restaurant, bar, massage spa, and can arrange drivers or scooters. Additionally there is a really great + yummy Warung Bintan (local resto) across the street, along with a good coffee shop and more places to eat down the road. Although Jean and Adam were not present at the flat, they were great hosts. They answered all of my many questions, coordinated very well with the Bayshore Villas staff, and organised airport pick-up for us, and any issues were dealt with quickly by the staff there. Communications were excellent, very prompt, and they always followed up after to verify that we were happy and everything was in order... Thanks Jean and Adam! In the end... after our initial 4 day booking... we felt so comfortable in the flat that we extended our stay there for another 2 days! ...What else need be said?

Jean, Adam, thanks you a lot for our nice staying in Candidasa. The apartment is well equipped and has tastefully arranged interior. It has wonderful view! You can see the sunset and fall asleep hearing ocean sound. The place is really quiet and peaceful. Jean and Adam are really helpful hosts. They had been in touch by messages all the time of our staying. The apartments are situated on Bayoshore villa territory, so you can use all the infrastructure - ask for dishes, swim in pool with sea view or relax in restaurant with pleasant music. It is situated on the second floor. Downstairs is another room and it was under construction. One day workers have started to make some noise, but Jean and Adam solved this problem in a moment. The villa's stuff also gave us complimentary massage for inconvenience. From this place by bike you can easily reach very beautiful beaches - white sand beach, which is ideal for snorkeling, secret beach and virgin beach. If you want to relax this place is exactly for you.
