The virtual preview of 🌴Oceanfront w/Chef: Your Own Paradise was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Seririt plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for 🌴Oceanfront w/Chef: Your Own Paradise painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
Friendly helpful stuff clean villa
The villa is beautiful and the staff are amazing, they are what makes this a great place. Iluh cooks wonderful food and created an amazing feast for my birthday dinner. Gede kept the villa spotless and always greeted us in the morning with a smile and a coffee. His flower scene in the pool is by far his greatest skill, I was blown away. Agus was always at hand to take us places, recommending fabulous sights to see and wonderful restaurants. He made cocktails for my birthday and played relaxing music while we ate our dinner. The villa is in a quiet location and we were blessed with visits from the animals, especially the dogs as we were missing ours so much. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a relaxing time, but were not able to get out walking much. The beach path needs a lot of attention and with no pavements it wasn’t safe to walk too far out, there are lots of crazy scooter riders about. We would definitely return though and split the holiday into 2 parts, north & south
My family had an incredible week-long stay at this villa! The property was stunning, beautifully maintained, and the perfect place for them to relax. A huge thank you to Jennifer for being so responsive and accommodating, as well as the wonderful staff who made them feel right at home.
How do we match this in the future? Every single previous review was correct. And more. From the comms with Jennifer to the airport pick up, to the attention to detail with all our meals. It’s INSANE! Agus, Iluh and Gede (house staff) all adapted to our routine. Early risers, early to bed. Agus was our CEO and created a wonderful schedule every other day with waterfalls hikes, mount sunrise hike, rice fields trek, moped hire and more. Iluh needs to open her own restaurant. OUTSTANDING CUISINE. We settled well into the rural setting, 5km walk every morning from the villa, lots of little paths to explore. Daily massages, I had 12!! Swimming. Reading. Hiking. The location makes you connect with the local community which we loved on our daily walks. 13 nights. Perfect. We’ve come home relaxed, happy, full tummies, we’ve connected with a different culture and been thoroughly spoilt. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️10/10 Thank you Jen for keeping the staff on when you bought the villa. Priceless ❤️❤️
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Sedang. Though having people “wait” on us (security guard, chef, house boy, driver/bartender) is something we are not used to, it was nice to have full service. The location is remote right on the beach - not swimmable (many rocks) if you have kids, but they enjoyed the pool more. We could use the driver to go do activities but did feel quite isolated (nothing really walkable). It was very quiet which was a nice escape from the busy streets of Ubud and Seminyak areas. Probably would have stayed a couple extra days if we could!
Petit coin de paradis, très calme et apaisant, on se sent comme à la maison chez Jennifer. Agus le chauffeur, nous a grandement facilité le séjour avec 4 grands enfants qui avaient une grande envie d’explorer les environs, quand à ilud, la chef cuisinière, elle nous a régalés ! Leur gentillesse et leur accueil ont fait toute la différence…Lorsqu’un de nos enfants est tombé malade, Agus a même fait venir un médecin dans l’heure à la villa… je recommande grandement cette location.
We hebben al veel van de wereld gezien maar deze plek was echt een ‘home away from home’. De villa ligt op een magische locatie naast de oceaan, is prachtig en met kwaliteit ingericht en vooral… het aanwezige team is FANTASTISCH. En we hebben in Bali heerlijk gegeten maar de kookkunsten van Ilu zijn heerlijk. De tuin is prachtig en zeer goed onderhouden en ook in het huis zorgt Gede dat alles perfect opgeruimd is en op de tafel zelfs een prachtig boeket bloemen klaar stond bij onze aankomst. Wij hebben ons hart verloren aan deze fantastische plek en crew en komen zeker terug.
The villa was beautiful, clean, and the perfect place for our family. Our kids loved getting visits from the house dog, and they spent hours playing in the pool ( pack some pool toys). The large yard gave them plenty of space to run around and play safely. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were amazing throughout the week. Having a private chef was such a blessing. The meals prepared by Ilud were delicious and made our vacation even more relaxing. Agus, our private driver, made our trip stress-free. He was always friendly and helped us plan each day so we could have the best experiences for our kids. It was obvious that the staff genuinely enjoyed working together and had a great deal of respect for Jennifer, the owner. The villa was a 4-hour drive from the airport, and the roads can be winding, so we will definitely bring motion sickness medication on our next trip. That said, the drive was absolutely worth it for a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere.
Un superbe logement. Au delà du logement lui même c est toute l équipe qui fait la différence . Une équipe à la fois disponible et discrète et toujours prête à trouver une solution. Spécial merci à Agus qui nous a guidé et aidé tout le temps et a rendu le séjour extrêmement paisible. On recommande totalement.
This Villa is such a special place. First I have to brag on the staff, who are the heart and soul of it. They are so kind and just want to make you happy. Iluh makes such delicious meals. I highly recommend eating at the villa! Agus is who you will spend the most time with. He is such a cool guy! He was so happy to share everything about the Balinese culture and took us to the best spots. The massages at the villa were excellent. Gidi made sure the villa stayed spotless. Honestly this was such a lovely stay. I highly recommend staying here!
Absolute Paradise!!! I hoped that this home would be all that we hoped and it exceeded our expectations. This is one of the best trips we’ve ever had. We love peaceful, calm, quiet accommodations and this was perfect. The home is as pictured, if not better. The staff are amazing! Augus made sure that every need we had was met. Iluh’s cooking was better than the restaurant we visited on her day off, and it was a nice restaurant. Definitely take advantage of Iluh’s cooking. We felt like we were treated like a King and Queen. While it was a three hour drive from the airport, Augus made the trip fun with a few sightseeing stopovers along the way. It is truly worth the drive. My husband enjoyed a fishing excursion with Augus, we had the fish for dinner that evening. We enjoyed a massage every evening at the villa while listening to the waves roll in. While AC was available the climate is so pleasant that we loved the indoor/outdoor living and stayed outside except at night to sleep. Amazing
Wauw! Het huis en het personeel zijn fenomenaal. Het eten is verrukkelijk, het huis elke dag brandschoon, de activiteiten en de begeleiding top, de tuin ligt er elke dag op zijn best bij en je voelt je helemaal veilig. Een absolute aanrader als je het noordelijk deel van Bali wilt verkennen. Top!

Future vacations are ruined! This one was above and beyond anything I could have dreamed of (even with all the 5 star reviews). The staff made it. I’ve never been spoiled like this, even at 5 star resorts. Agus is very quick to figure out what you would most enjoy for your holiday and he makes it happen. I’m such a picky eater and Iluh made incredible healthy meals—I’m certain I left a few pounds heavier—beware! Gede keeps the house spotless and is so considerate of your needs. The property grounds are also so well maintained and the house is gorgeous and very comfortable. Agus will get you wherever you dream of being and the more rural location was perfect for us wanting some peace and quiet after Ubud. I would also agree with another reviewer that you aren’t going here for the beach but you will get the ocean breeze and sounds from the cabana without sand everywhere.
We had a wonderful stay at the villa. It was clean and spacious. Jennifer was great to communicate with and Agus was a wonderful host. He looked After us at the villa with his special cocktails, arranging yoga, massages and our food. He also suggested snorkelling and the waterfalls to add to our agenda. He was very accomodating, kind, conscientious and professional. We couldn't have asked for more. You won't be disappointed with your stay at this location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This has to be one of the most beautiful and welcoming airbnbs that we have ever stayed in. From first booking the place Jennifer and her wonderful team where always so proactive. The places comes with a housekeeper, chef, driver, security and garners so you never have to lift a finger. It’s a level of luxury that we weren’t used to but that was amazing. The team is incredibly personable and you get a sense that they do really care, whether it be checking in our days and making sure that cleaning times worked, the most delicious home cooked meals or tailored days out. The dogs (Putih and Mia) and cat (Frida) helped to create the homely environment and must be the most well behaved animals I’ve ever met. A trip with Angel Divers and dolphin watching was organised for us. it was these touches to that made the trip stand out. The pool is also incredible along with the sea! A standout moment was the team’s support and allowing us to stay extra nights due to flights being cancelled.
An absolute gem of an Airbnb! Jennifer is super responsive and the entire team ensures you have absolutely anything you could want, from the moment you arrive. Iluh's cooking is second to none, and it was such a treat to not have a single dish to pick up after! Highly recommend telling Agus anything that interests you so he can craft the perfect outings, and of course take advantage of the massages by the ocean. We were so thankful for the picture perfect space to relax (and safe water, especially with young kids).
We loved our stay here.. it’s as described good value for money and a super relaxing environment.. The staff are unbelievable and literally bend over backwards to accommodate any requests we had.. super friendly, polite and the property is blessed to have support stuff of such such high quality. They all made our stay even more memorable.. We had a ball and I would not hesitate to recommend and return again..
Wir durften einen Monat in Jennifers Villa verbringen und es war atemberaubend. Es ist noch schöner, als auf den Fotos, mit viel Liebe und Detail. Man spürt die positive Energie und wir konnten uns sehr gut erholen. Was diese Villa so einzigartig macht, ist das Personal. Agus, der uns jeden Wunsch von dem Augen abgelesen hat. Iluh, die wunderbare Köchin, die wirklich auf jeden Wunsch eingeht und das beste Essen macht. Widi, der Security, Budi der Gärtner, Gede der Houseboy. es sind so tolle Menschen, mit einem grossen Herz. Sie sind zu unseren Freunden geworden und wir freuen uns sie bald wiederzusehen. wenn man einen Urlaub machen möchte, wo es einem an nichts fehlt, dann ist man hier sehr gut aufgehoben. ich könnte nun noch so vieles mehr schreiben, aber der Platz geht mir aus. Man kann nicht alles beschreiben, man muss es erleben! danke an euch! Alles Liebe und bis bald Nadine und Dominik.
We had a wonderful time at the villa. The hostess is not on site, but there is a very nice and friendly team working. Thank you Iluh for the delicious food and always listening to our needs and smiling. In general, everything in the villa is calm, with smiles, all needs are met very quickly - from massage to seeing dolphins or renting scooters. Very convenient with children - the pool is warm, friendly animals come from the neighbors. A real paradise for children. Thanks again to the whole team!
Had the best day! Cannot say enough about how wonderful Jennifer and the team were that welcomed us to Bali. The house and location were beautiful and comfortable. We look forward to coming back! 💜
Villa Sedang was just perfect for our honeymoon. Everything about it was incredible: the views, the friendly resident gecko, the attentive house staff and their friendly pet dogs. We were greeted by Agus, our driver, at the airport and he drove for 4 hours to the villa, stopping along the way for us to get some groceries. We arrived at the villa to a warm welcome from the other staff, who gave us frangipani garlands and a refreshing face towel. This set the tone for the whole two weeks. Nothing was too much trouble, from arranging a floating breakfast in the pool to trips to Ubud to buy some art, to teaching Jake to cook chicken satay and special fried rice, to our very reasonably priced daily full-body massage on the top deck of the 2-tier gazebo by the beach. We didn’t need to cook once, as Iluh cooked anything we wanted, from barbecued barracuda to king prawn curries. Gede sprayed our room and made our bed every day, and brought us coconuts from his garden. A memorable honeymoon x
Best place to stay in north Bali. We will never travel the same after staying here and having a place fully staffed with people at your service 24/7. Something we have never experienced. You will feel like royalty. Agus was the best. Iluh made the best food and can make you anything you want even if it’s not on the menu. We will be coming back for sure.
There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing our experience at the villa was! From the staff’s warm reception on day one to our tearful goodbye on the last day, our family of five loved every second we had in Seririt! Agus was incredible and helped us plan some great excursions and Iluh’s phenomenal cooking made us never want to leave. The villa itself is a slice of heaven, nestled right on the ocean it’s truly the most peaceful and relaxing place we’ve ever been. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back! Thank you so much to Jennifer and all the staff for making our family vacation one of the best times we’ve ever had!
We stayed at this villa for our honeymoon in Bali and it was beyond perfect! The villa is stunning, with a huge pool that was even bigger and deeper than in the photos. Floating under the stars every evening felt magical. The private chef prepared the most exquisite meals - anything we asked for, always delicious. The housekeeper, gardener, driver, and security guard were all so kind and helpful, making us feel cared for every single day. The driver was not only excellent for getting around but also acted as a local guide and even made us the best drinks! We never missed a thing - every detail was thought of. This villa is not only breathtaking, but it’s also a place where you feel truly at home because of the amazing people who run it. We cannot recommend it enough and will absolutely be coming back - not only for the villa itself, but also for the warm, wonderful people who made our honeymoon so special.
Before booking Villa Sedang I read all the amazing reviews. I was obviously encouraged to book it. The reviews are all spot on. The villa is breathtaking. The aesthetics are tasteful and elegant. The pool is beautiful and the beach house at the bottom of the garden is a serene spot to lay and listen to the sea. The villa is spotless, the beds are super comfortable. All facilities are catered for. Soap, hair shampoo and conditioners etc. For our family, as much as we loved the villa and its surroundings, the staff made our holiday extra special. Iluh, is the talented chef. There is nothing she can’t cook. We were treated to a Balinese feast one evening which was made with minced barracuda mixed with spices on a lemon grass stick, sweet and spicy chicken, rice and vegetables. Iluh also made a delicious Balinese curry. You will be introduced to Augus who will guide you through your holiday experience with ease. There is nothing that man can’t do for you. In a nutshell it’s perfect.
All I can say is the villa itself is beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice but the staff really make the place special. It is located at the north end of Bali right off the black sand beach and is very peaceful and your own slice of paradise. Great place to also immerse yourself in Bali culture. The staff really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. We booked everything through Agus and I highly recommend everyone do that. Thanks to Iluh we got to try a lot of Balinese cuisine - every meal was delicious and better than what you get at any restaurant.

Upon entering the villa, I have to say the pictures do not do it justice. Jennifer‘s villa is absolutely pristine, gorgeous, clean and just beautiful. But I do also have to say what made our vacation so special was the staff. They were like family to us and made us feel so comfortable and they cared for us.Iluh’s cooking was 10 stars. It was absolutely amazing. She can create anything you want. Even the pizza was amazing and I’m from New Jersey and Italian and the pizza was even amazing. Gooday was another part of the staff who helped with the cleaning of the rooms, grilling and setting the table, and he was so attentive and amazing to us. We really also wanted to fully get to know the culture in Indonesia and speaking with them and learning their culture was just so beautiful. Finally our driver, Agus. He was so attentive to all of our needs and made the best drinks. He is truly is such an amazing person. When we left and had to say goodbye me and my daughter both cried. Amazing vaca

An Unforgettable Honeymoon Stay at Villa Sedang - don't hesitate, book it! We stayed at Villa Sedang for our honeymoon and had the most incredible experience! The villa is absolutely stunning — clean, beautifully designed, and the ocean view from the private pool was even better than we imagined. It felt like our own private slice of paradise. The team at the Villa working there was such a joy to connect with and they ALL were fantastic! Having a private chef was such a luxury — the meals were delicious and fresh every time. We also had private transportation and a local guide, which made exploring Bali so easy and fun. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and we felt relaxed and well cared for during our entire stay. This place truly made our honeymoon unforgettable. We would recommend Villa Sedang to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and well-organized place to stay in Bali!
Spent an amazing week at Villa Sedang! The villa is stunning and the staff is incredible. We felt so spoiled. We did several excursions around the area with Agus and had massages almost every day. Illuh’s cooking is amazing and we definitely indulged. The staff also helped arrange a great day for my sister’s 30th birthday which included flower decorations, a floating lunch, and a fire dance show with dinner. We can’t wait to visit again!
We’re reluctantly leaving this review, but of not fault of Jennifer’s, but for our own selfish reasons..LOL..We fear that if we adequately describe how AMAZING this place is, that it’ll be extremely hard for us to book again in the future. Not only is the property exactly as described, but coupled with the out of this world amazing staff, this place is truly a dream. Now before I run out of characters allotted, I will make mention that the drive/ride from the airport to the villa is about 3 hours, but if you’re willing to accept that, then welcome to PARADISE! Every meal that was prepared was not only delicious, as well as nutritious and FRESH! We felt right at home and welcomed, whether in the villa our out in the community. This trip was our honeymoon, and Bali and Villa Sedang will forever be a part of our love story. Thanks so much Jennifer and staff!
I stayed for a month and it was magical. I had such a good time. The staff did everything they could possibly think of for me. I would go back in a minute. The location is lovely and the house itself is beautiful
De ansatte i boligen var uovertruffen. Alt var rent og lækkert indrettet. Meget venligt personale. Lækkert at der var bil og Agus vores chauffør og guide med til boligen. Han var så god til at anbefale steder vi kunne tage hen og kørte godt. Iluh lavede den lækreste mad til os, var meget serviceminded.
Thanks to Agus, Ile & Gede we had a deeply enjoyable, wonderful & unforgettable stay at Villa Sedang. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived at the villa. The staff waited for us to arrive at 11pm in the night and even prepared a very delicious dinner. Everyday was full of adventurous activities and relaxing evenings. Agus, Ile & Gede made us & our little girls part of their family from the very fast moment so we didn't even have to worry, when we wanted to do activities that aren't kid friendly like the volcano tour, because the staff took excellent care of our kids in our absence. I can highly recommend Villa Sedang for everyone who wants a relaxing vacation in Paradise with no wishes left open!
Wow what can we say. The villa is beautiful and the surroundings are very private. However, what really makes this above and beyond anything else, is the staff. They are incredible. Very helpful and always kind. Agus is the best tour guide ever! Please do take his recommendations for visiting places, you won’t be disappointed. Gede is very helpful and so polite. He works so hard to make sure the place is spotless and ready for your next day. Ilu… wow she can really cook! Her food is amazing!! Thank you all so much for a fantastic few days. We will be back.

notre séjour à la villa Sedang etai un rêve éveillé. merci à tous le staff Agus Illou et Gude et les autre désolé j'ai pas retenu tous Prénom mais c'était magnifique mon seule regret c'est de ne pas être rester plus longtemps. je reviendrais sans hésiter. c'est un endroit incroyable mais c'est surtout le staff qui le rend unique et incroyable merci pour tout à très bientôt. bisous de Romain et madame boss. 🥰😍😘
We loved this place! The staff were very thoughtful and attentive and spoiled us. Our every need was anticipated and met. The villa is gorgeous, surrounded by beautiful gardens with a large deep swimming pool and ocean frontage, large comfortable beds and a relaxing outdoor area. We even had the company of two sweet little local dogs, Cherry and Blossom. We were sorry not to have booked a longer stay so that we could have indulged in another wonderful massage and more of Iluh’s delicious cooking. House boy Gede went above and beyond and was always smiling and Agus drove us everywhere and provided lots of information about the local culture and customs. Fantastic holiday ❤️
Just ended a stay of 5 days with my family of 3 - biggest regret that we did not stay longer! From check in to check out, we had nothing but good things to say about the property - serene, private, and well hidden away from all the bustle in touristy areas. The rooms, living area & pool were all spacious and perfectly maintained. However, what really blew us away was the hospitality from the staff team - namely, Agus, Iluh, Gede, Budi & Widi! Jennifer & Anik made the booking side of things extremely for us too. Super lovely team of staff, and we felt like family straight away. Fully recommended to anyone looking for a private getaway, from couples, families to bigger groups! We will be back soon!

Unsere Zeit in Bali war einfach fantastisch! Wir waren zu fünft in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft und haben zwei Wochen dort verbracht. Alles war einfach perfekt. Das Team vor Ort war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend – wir wurden immer bestens behandelt und unsere Wünsche wurden jederzeit berücksichtigt. Der Service war top, und die Atmosphäre einfach großartig. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen!
This is the most beautiful accommodation we've ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the stunning villa and outdoor space. The wonderful staff made our stay absolutely perfect. The food was the best we had in all of Bali, and everyone was incredibly kind and helpful – it truly felt like a dream. We were so sad to leave and would return in a heartbeat. We wholeheartedly recommend this villa; it’s a true gem and the best place we've stayed in Bali. 😊
Villa Sedang is absolute heaven on earth!! My husband and I both have very demanding jobs and were looking for a place that we could fully disconnect and enjoy our honeymoon off the grid. We found that and even more! The location of the villa is so quiet and far from any of touristy areas of Bali. We enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool, getting couples massages, doing private yoga classes, sunset beach walks, and just being. I don’t think I’ve ever been so relaxed in my life. The staff at Villa Sedang is incredible and made us feel like family. Agus is such a beautiful soul. He drove us to Ubud one day and on a north Bali tour another day where we saw waterfalls, temples, and hot springs. Iluh the chef made us the most delicious Indonesian meals that were to die for! Gede kept the house it tip top shape, while Budi kept the grounds looking beautiful, and Widi kept us safe every night. It was the best trip! Do yourself a favor and book this villa, you will not be disappointed!
It is almost impossible to completely describe Villa Sedang and the magical stay we had. The Villa and grounds are exactly as pictured, every minute and turn more relaxing than the next. But none of that compares to the most amazing, warm hearted hospitality from Agus, Iluh, Gede, Widi and Budi! We did not have to worry about a thing from the moment Agus picked us up. Everything Iluh cooked was delicious, Gede kept everything in top shape, Budi’s gardens were spectacular and we always knew Widi was keeping a watchful eye. And of course Agus, from safely driving us everywhere to sharing many favorite spots and always doing extra little things to make the visit special! But most importantly was the smile and spirit each brought every day. Jennifer is a proactive and wonderful host as well. Don’t pass on this villa!

Wow! This Airbnb is incredible - it is truly the best I've ever experienced! Everything exceeded my expectations, from the fantastic staff, beautiful location, and outstanding assistance. Elu, the cook, made the most delicious food, Augus helped us plan the best excursions, Gede took care of all our needs, and Budi kept the garden stunning. It felt more like a luxury resort than just an Airbnb! My wife and I were so impressed that we left feeling like the staff were part of our family. By the second day, we were already planning our return trip for next year!

Die Villa von Jennifer ist einfach unser absolutes Highlight in Bali. Direkt beim Eingangstor wurden wir von Iluh der Köchin mit einem bezaubernden Löcheln und einer Frangipani Kette begrüsst. Durch eine wunderschönen dichten und gepflegten Garten mit interessanten Pflanzen gelangt man zum Haus, welches modern, luftig und superschön dekoriert ist. Man schaut direkt durch die hohen Fenster in den zweiten Teil vom Garten, der schön offen zum Meer hin ist und einen grossen einladenden Pool hat. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und am Abend kann man auch die Türen schliessen und im Wohnzimmer gemütlich Netflixen. Die Hilfen im Haus sind supernett und hilfsbereit und sehr kompetent. Wir waren glücklich hier und wollten am Abend gar nicht weg, weil Iluh so gut kocht. Iluh ist eine wunderbare Perle und nichts ist ihr zu viel. Auch Agus ist eine Perle. Er weiss alles und kann auch alles organisieren. Wir waren so froh um ihn. Gude ist der stille Helfer im Hintergrund. Ein super Team😍.
AWESOME!!! The pictures does not do this immaculate home justice. THE STAFF… OMG THE STAFF!!! They are all INCREDIBLE! Agus was very attentive and genuine. He was also very knowledgeable about the Northside of Bali and other areas as well. Iluh food is to die for! Such a great chef. My niece was so in awe!! Thank you guys so much from the bottom of my heart for making my time in Bali so memorable. I will definitely be back!
Villa Sedang is the most glorious place I have ever stayed in. The interior is beautifully decorated and the gardens leading down to the ocean and cabana are immaculate. It was the perfect haven to escape to and spend time with my family. Jennifer was a very responsive and helpful host who has selected the most kindest, helpful and attentive staff. Iluh, Agus, Gede, Budi and Widi were a beautiful team that made our stay unforgettable. Iluh’s food was unbelievably tasty, what a treat it was to have her cooking for us. Gede and Agus were friendly faces and joy to have around. Gede served us dinner and kept the place immaculate and Agus was happy to drive us anywhere when we wanted. Budi kept the most immaculate gardens and Widi kept watch overnight giving a smile and wave each night as he checked over the property. If you are looking for a special experience, book Villa Sedang. You won’t regret it. I know we will be back in the near future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Jennifer’s place truly is a slice of heavenly paradise. The villa itself is pristine, spacious and extremely well maintained. The grounds are perfection, with an extremely generous private pool, lush gardens and dreamy sea views. However, I have to echo the sentiment of so many other reviews and say that the team who work at the villa are truly what makes your time here unforgettable. Never have we experienced such personalised, warm and knowledgable hosting. Iluh’s cooking deserves a lengthy review of its own if I’m completely honest, but I would be remiss not to mention the entire team. I could ramble endlessly about attention to detail, the perfect balance of being attentive and incredibly helpful without being overbearing, or the warm, informed nature of the team, but it’s all something that simply has to be experienced. We already cannot wait to return and would encourage others not to hesitate in booking. There’s no doubt, this villa is the place to stay in Bali. Book now!

This place exceeded our expectations!! The staff were thoughtful, friendly, and very responsive to all our requests. Uli is one of the best chefs! The food was delicious! Agus was very responsive and helpful us plan adventures that made our time in Bali memorable! If you decide to stay here, be sure to get at least one massage!! I would highly recommend staying here!
By far my favourite place I’ve stayed in Bali over the years. Our host was kind, responsive and her staff were so respectful, helpful and the kindest people. I will definitely be back, for a longer stay. Your Villa is stunning and feels like a home away from home!
Definitely a 10 out of 10! This is not a regular Airbnb but the home of someone who truly loves the house and her people. The styling is outstanding and the amazing staff will ensure that your mind will be at ease all the time. What we loved is that the house is big enough to offer everything you need (big pool, multiple bedrooms/bathrooms, spacious kitchen) but still has the coziness to not overwhelm you which can happen in big villas. Everything will be arranged for you by the incredible FIVE. The food (wow, Iluh!), the car rides (with Agus, you don’t have to worry), housekeeping (Gede, also a great kids entertainer), the amazing garden and the gazebo to relax (Budi) and the security (no need think about keys our other safety issues (Widi). We never like to say that we’ll come back because we always want to keep our promises but this time it is different… we’ll come back 💛.
Oh the staff! What lovely people they are!! The garden is kept gorgeous by Bude, the food was amazing cooked by Iluh, Agus was always just a text away and extremely helpful and responsive and Gede was fantastic, always with a smile and help with anything we could think of (young coconut and mango delivered to us as soon as we mentioned wanting it!). Weedy, our security guard, was unintrusive and came to our rescue with the critters we couldn’t handle, haha! The pictures are so pretty but cannot possibly reflect the serenity and beauty of this place. There are a few amphibians hanging about, they don’t bother you and are completely expected and worth being in the Bali sun! We would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in this area. A short drive (20-30 mins) takes you to the hustle and bustle of Lovina Beach for some action if you’re looking, but we really just enjoyed the quiet of the villa and the natural entertainment of the Ocean and nature! We stayed at Villa Sedang for 11 nights. From the moment we walked through the doors we felt like it was a home away from home. The staff greeted us with welcome drinks and flower leis. The villa was absolutely beautiful, very clean, with modern touches and art work throughout. The chef, Iluh made traditional Indonesian dinners that were always restaurant quality. She also did cooking demonstrations. Gede took care of keeping the villa immaculate. He regularly added fresh flowers, we looked forward to seeing his warm smile everyday. Budi kept the landscaping beautifully manicured. While Widi provided nightly security. Agus, the senior house man, took care of our every need. He arranged for us to have a scooter, tours of the waterfalls, the Royal Palace of Singaraja, the Buddhist monastery, and the Mayong rice fields. We still found time to relax. Jennifer was an amazing host from the minute we booked our stay, she was available to answer any and all questions. She is a Super host!
Paradise. I cannot stress enough how beautiful this place truly is. Everyone working at the villa are extremely helpful, kind and just all round amazing people. I’ve had some of the nicest meals I’ve ever eaten here. Thank you all for making our stay so perfect… we’ll be back!
Villa Sedana is one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed at in Bali. The property backed onto the beach and the pool was huge with one end very deep. What sets this place apart is the gorgeous staff. We are humbled by their hard working and generous us humble spirits. Gude, Ilyuh and Agus were amaz ing and looked after our every need. Excellent meals cooked and Agus sourced the biggest lobstered we’ve ever eaten for our last night. Our only comment is we wish we had booked the whole two weeks here instead of leaving to head south. We loved the quiet, no tourists and being helped by local people who have so little but who live grateful for every moment. We have a lot to learn from these beautiful people. We will definitely return. Thanks for everything thing
Our stay here was unbelievable. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is incredibly attentive. We opted to spend most of our time relaxing on the property, but Agus has tons of tour and travel suggestions if you feel like exploring. Do yourself a favor and try the cooking by Iluh, it is incredible!
Es waren ein paar wunderschöne Tage, alles war einfach perfekt. Das Personal war super freundlich. Das Essen war super lecker. Alles war top sauber. Die Unterkunft ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Wir haben viele tolle Ausflüge mit Agus gemacht. Wer einen entspannten Aufenthalt möchte ist hier super aufgehoben. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt. My family and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Sedang. Im not sure any amount of time there would feel like enough! The beautiful villa views, spacious pool and wonderfully decorated interior make it feel like its own private resort. What takes it over the top is the staff. We could not have had a better time with Agus, Illuh, Gede, and the rest of the villa staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay; we hope to come back soon!

wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit in der Villa Sedang. das Team um Anik hat uns vom ersten Moment freundlich empfangen und wir haben uns von Begin wohl gefühlt. Agus hat uns bezüglich den Ausflügen bereiten, diese organisiert und uns teilweise begleitet, es war immer ein riesen Erlebnis und seine Erklärungen haben uns die balinesische Kultur näher gebracht. Ilu ist die beste Köchen die wir je hatten, sie hat uns mit frischen und authentischen Speisen jeden Tag verwöhnt. die Schärfe hat sie perfekt auf unsere westlichen Bedürfnisse angepasst. Gede wir immer für uns da und hat unterstützt wo er nur konnte. Budi hat perfekt zum schönen Garten und der Umgebung geschaut und last but not least, beim Nachtwächter Widi haben wir uns immer sicher gefühlt. auch so kurz nach den Traumferien kommen wir nicht aus dem Schwärmen raus, für uns hat alles gepasst. nochmals einen ganz lieben Dank in's Team, diesen Urlaub werden wir nie vergessen. beste Grüsse aus der Schweiz

Der Himmel auf Erden Als wir in der Villa ankamen wurden wir extremst höflich und herzig von dem gesamten Team begrüßt und fühlten uns auf Anhieb wie zuhause. Die Villa ist einfach ein Traum. Sehr geräumig geschnitten und sehr stylisch eingerichtet. Wir waren zwar nur zu zweit dort, aber auch mit 6 Personen hätte man eine erstklassige Zeit verbringen können. Alles war sauber und der Pool und die Außenanlagen sehr gepflegt. Ganz besonders möchten wir das vorhandene Personal loben. Die Köchin versteht ihr Handwerk und hat uns mit ihren Kochkünsten an jedem Abend die Sprache verschlagen. Wir haben in ganz Bali noch nie vergleichbar gut gegessen, selbst beim schreiben bekomme ich schon wieder Hunger auf ihre Gerichte. Auch das gesamte weitere Team war wunderbar und wir können rein gar nichts negatives sagen. Danke für die tolle Zeit in einem wundervollen Haus. Sollten wir nochmal nach Bali kommen, sehen wir uns wieder. Unseren Freunden und Familie haben wir die Villa bereits empfohlen 👍🏽

From the moment you step foot in Villa Sedang you are in paradise. Beautiful, immaculate garden, modern zen decor, an infinity pool and constant ocean breeze. Getting massages outdoors in the gazebo, listening to the waves/feeling the calming breeze can't be beat!. But the biggest highlight was the staff who work their magic to make us feel at home. Iluh, Agus and Gede were like a family to us for the four magical days we spent at the villa. Always with a smile, they cater to all your needs and are the most gracious and kind people you will ever meet. They spent time answering our questions and teaching us about their culture. Language was never an issue - communication couldn't have been easier. With Iluh at the helm cooking, the three of them worked as a team cooking the most delicious meals. Agus was helpful in making arrangements for us, Budi, the gardener, and Widi, the night guard, were unobtrusive. We miss our new friends dearly and can’t wait to return for longer stay!

Our family had an incredible stay at the villa. It's a really beautiful spot, a fantastic house, made all the more beautiful by the incredible staff. It's an amazing team that went above and beyond to make our holiday superb. Everyone was so generous, kind and obliging. Whatever your wishes, whether culinary (Iluh is an amazing cook), excursions from waterfalls to dolphin watching where we went by boat directly from the beach (Agus is the master of ceremonies) or any other needs (Gede is super helpful), the team are on hand to help. As Agus said, "with Agus you take it easy!". You do indeed. It was a dream stay and we definitely hope to return at some point! Thanks Jennifer and team!
The Villa is beautiful. Even though in a secluded area there are plenty of options for day trips out, which Agus organised for us leaving nothing for us to do. Highly recommend the Menjangan Island for snorkelling and dolphin watching with the local fishermen. The staff are a total credit to the Villa. The food is amazing, leaving us feeling that we didn't need/want to eat out

This is a fantastic villa in a quiet area. The house is beautiful and Iluh’s cooking is amazing. The staff are discreet but they’re to help recommend and direct you to make the most of everything that’s around. It is away from any bars and restaurants but with Agus to drive you it’s easy to get to somewhere where there’s a bit more atmosphere. To be honest the cooking is so good that it’s best to eat in anyway. The beach is nice and the locals are really friendly. The drive across the mountains is a baptism into Bali roads but having done it once I wouldn’t be put off doing it again. A great place to chill out and unwind with a few cocktails- mixed for you regularly throughout the day! X
Wow Vila Sedang exceeded our expectations in every way! The villa, garden, pool and beach were all so beautiful every morning we felt we’d woken up in paradise. The wonderful staff made our stay even more special. Nothing was too much trouble and we especially loved Illuh’s cooking , Agus’s tour guiding and cocktails and Gede, Budi and Widi’s help around the house and villa grounds. We would love to come back again one day soon.
The easiest 5 star review I think I've ever given! Everything was perfect - the villa, the location and above all the service. From being picked up by Agus, to arriving at the villa we were made to feel so welcome. All of the staff were incredible and really made the stay worthwhile. The delicious food cooked by Wayan was better than most restaurants we've been to, the house was kept spotlessly clean by Gede. Agus helped us to arrange trips like going to watch the dolphins, and even took me into town to help me shop for food at the local market. The staff also helped to arrange a birthday flower surprise for my partner very last minute, they were so great! The villa itself is stunning, the photos don't do it justice. It's such a peaceful location, all you want to do is sit in the pool, or watch the sunset over the sea from the garden house. Will definitely be returning at some point, thank you to everyone!
Can’t speak highly enough - we had one of the best and most peaceful holidays ever! Jennifer’s place is absolutely gorgeous and the staff faultless. It was absolutely so well done - all of it! We can’t wait to go back!
We had an amazing stay at Jennifer’s during our honeymoon! Having a villa staff was so luxurious to wake up to breakfast on the table, a freshly cleaned kitchen, and a great mixologist to make cocktails! Iluh makes great food and even taught me some of the recopies. My husband even organized to have flowers in all the rooms and the pool when we arrived. While there, we enjoyed the pool, the outdoor shower, and the beach front terrace with hammock and loungers. You can walk right out to the beach, but it is a black sand beach, so we used it more for going on walks instead of lounging. We were able to see the dolphins from a boat that left right from the house. We also went on a day trip to a waterfall, hot spring, and Buddhist temple as well as went diving with Arrows to Menjangan island. This is a great place for staying in and relaxing, but it is a bit far from other towns or site seeing. The staff can get you groceries, but just be prepared to spend some time in the car!
This place was absolutely amazing. My husband and I wanted to be in a private villa near the beach, and it couldn’t have gotten better than this location. The staff was so responsive and helped us with so much, from cooking delicious meals, helping us book last minute activities, and giving us privacy when necessary. The place was so clean - cleaner than most hotels I’ve stayed at. Great location, beautiful pool, very comfortable and relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a private getaway!
The past reviews say it all. The villa was our sanctuary after the hustle and bustle of Bali. The gardens are beautiful, pool divine and just a few short steps to the waters edge - our own private eden. The villa is understated tropical elegance. The staff, Agus, Gede, Iluh and others were attentive and caring, always a welcoming smile and we felt like we had made new friends. A massage or beauty treatment every day was heavenly. Yes it is a drive to get from A to B, but if you’re after a break away to totally relax, this is the place to be 😁

If I could give Jennifer's place 10 stars I would! Our entire stay was amazing. My husband and I were greeted with the most beautiful flower lei's and fresh, cold juice on arrival. Then we were blown away when we stepped into the villa because it was even more beautiful in person. It has a very zen vibe that carries through the entire place. The outdoor shower in the master bedroom with lush foliage is dreamy. The temperature of the pool was perfect. We enjoyed massages and watched sunsets from the 2 story deck facing the ocean. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. I can't say enough good things about Agus the houseboy. He went above and beyond to take care of us during our stay. He drove us into town to go shopping, sightseeing, arranged activities and makes the best cocktails! Ilu's cooking was spectacular. Everything she made was exquisite. Gede kept everything spotless. Budi and Widi kept the grounds beautiful and safe. And Frieda the villa cat literally stole my heart.
We had the most amazing time here. The whole Villa is just stunning. The way it has been designed and decorated are beautiful. The staff are great, really friendly and helpful and the meals are the best you could wish for. Probably the best we’ve had in Bali. Staying here was the highlight of our holiday (honeymoon). The location was perfect for us because it quiet, with just a few villas close by so you are within local village life. All the locals are so friendly too. If you want peace and quite at a luxury Villa this is it.

Great Stay in Northern Bali. The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Peter did a great job in designing the property. Here are descriptive elements that will help you in choosing between villas according to your needs: 1. It’s a three bedroom villa. The pool is indeed spacious and lovely. 2. The residence has an ocean front. Directly in front of the villa is a rocky shore; for a semi rocky beach, you walk 2 minutes to the right. 3. The gazebo has two stories and right in front of the ocean. 4. There is a spacious green garden with local exotic trees. Funny story: during my stay, all of a sudden at night I hear a very loud, repetitive animal noise; i couldn’t sleep. Took me a while to figure out that it was coming from a tiny frog! I chased Mr Froggy away and then went back to bed. But 10 minutes later he was back - a bit more distant, hard to find in the grass.. Next day he was gone. Moral of the story: Don’t underestimate the froggy 😁😁 haha

This place and the staf was absolutely amazing! Our requirements are pretty high and this was our fourth stay in Bali, but we were so surprised. It’s more beautiful than on the pictures and super clean! The interior was also so inspiring. Agus is such a kind houseboy and can help you with everything you ask. Jennifer’s place was truly a magical place. The photos don’t do if any justice, it’s 10x more wonderful in person. The staff of the Villa make this place an unbelievable stay, they truly added to the magic of our vacation. Agus the driver was so friendly, helpful and he arranged anything we wanted to do from fishing, chasing dolphins, grocery shopping, he took us to town, drove us anywhere we needed to go, organized snorkeling & massages for us too. Iluh the chef is AMAZING, her food made us feel right at home, she was accommodating to our taste and we loved trying her local cuisine. Ghidi the house manager made our stay cozy, he kept everything running smooth, tidied our room & bathroom /refreshed them daily, he made sure your room was cool & comfortable/big free every evening. It was nice to have a security guard at night which made us feel extra secure & the Gardner tasks such great care of the grounds. The pool & outdoor space was truly great, we loved the beach hut as well. 10/10

To say this place is paradise is an understatement. The location is magical, and the home is set up for the ultimate R&R. Our stay was for 7 days and at the end of our stay we did not want to leave. The most incredible thing about this air b n b is the staff, firstly Agus was a wonderful guide and went above and beyond for anything we needed, Iluh the Cook, made some of the best food we’ve ever eaten in Bali, Gede made sure the house was spotless and we had everything we needed, and then Budi & Widi were there everyday making sure the grounds were safe from snakes and manicured. We cannot wait to come back.
Iluh, Agus and Gere were wonderful. They made our holiday so relaxing and fabulous. Iluh’s food was great and she was very accommodating- even showing my husband how to make her fried rice. The house was beautiful and surroundings beautifully maintained. Looking forward to going back
My husband and I stayed at Jennifer's villa for the last few days of our honeymoon and what a way to end it! The villa itself is absolutely stunning and has been finished to a 5 star standard. The pool area and gardens are just perfect and the photos do not do it justice. Jen really has thought of everything down to all the little details. The villa is only bettered by the incredible staff who really cannot do enough for you. Constantly on hand if you need anything but discreet enough to allow you your privacy. Iluh made us the most amazing meals, all we did was make suggestions of what we would like and she did all the shopping and pulled something together - we only paid for our ingredients, what a service! Agus really went over and above for us, organising trips for us, giving us some great chat and keeping up with our constant need for wine (sorry Agus!) He also makes a mean Mojito!! Again, the rest of the staff were just spot on and really helped make our trip memorable. Special shout out to the cats Diego and Frieda who were our little buddies for the few days we were there, very sad that we couldn't take them home! If you're considering Jen's villa then do it! We're already planning our trip back and cannot wait to see everyone again :)

The most perfect place ever! I can’t say enough wonderful things about staying in this gorgeous house on the ocean being completely spoiled by the best staff you could possibly hope for. The house is just beautiful in every aspect. The decor is perfect, so we’ll done. The house is big and luxurious, very tropical beach chic. Can there be anything better than having the wonderfully personable house guy August make you fab cocktails as you watch the sunset and the a talented chef makes you wonderful fish on the bbq caught from in front of the house that day! All the food the wonderful and kind chef made from beautiful from healthy breakfasts to fabulous dinners like fresh prawns on the bbq severed at the table like a fine dinning restaurant. Lots of beautiful outdoor lounges on the beachfront or by the pool to chill and read. Massages, facials body scrubs at the house were excellent and ridiculously inexpensive. We had some form of treatment nearly every day. The area is like Bali from 30 years ago. No traffic, low key, so beautiful but plenty to do. August was on hand to drive you when needed. We went snorkelling out on deer island which was incredible. The owner Jenifer was in contact always with tons of get help and suggestions. So warm, knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve stayed at lots of houses around the world and this was one of the very best in every way. I feel so lucky we were able to experience this amazing place. The only problem was a week wasn’t nearly long enough. My deepest thanks and gratitude to Jennifer and her amazingly beautiful staff.
Fantastic experience overall. Jennifer’s staff did not only make sure that you would have a wonderful stay but also a meaningful experience through well-tailored tours and assistance. My parents undoubtedly, had fun! They said they would come back and book the same villa again.
Jennifer’s villa is a little slice of heaven all wrapped up in beautiful ocean views and the best staff you could ever ask for. We booked Jennifer’s place based on the villa alone, we are incredibly lucky to experience Northern Bali! Agus is your go to man for any and all experiences you would like to do, I guarantee he probably knows the guide personally as well! Iluh & Gede had our bellies full and the house beautiful throughout the entire stay. Budu is the man when with the green thumb and always has the lush greenery looking beautiful! And if you’re like me, scared of the dark, Security does checks throughout the night to ensure all is well. We will absolutely be back next year and will be counting down until then 😍

Well this is difficult - I want to keep this place a secret as it’s paradise! We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Sedang, it is just heavenly. We were in the expert care of the very attentive staff, Agus & Gede, and we opted to pay extra and have chef Iluh cook for us, and she was sensational! Well worth the additional fee. Illuh cooked us the most delicious Indonesian food during our stay, the traditional breakfasts were a particular highlight. The staff were just wonderful, so helpful but also respected our privacy and allowed us to relax in the villa. The grounds are beautifully lush, and the pool area just perfect for relaxation. The villa is beautifully decorated and very well equipped with anything you desire. We’d recommend taking some alcohol with you if you choose to drink as there are no shops nearby, but even though it is very remote, there is an alcohol delivery service available should you run out of supplies. We also had some in-house massages - highly recommend these! Don’t hesitate, book this villa, it’s extraordinary.
Bali vibes are real. We have done quite a view Airbnbs and this was by far the most fantastic. It is even more beautiful than the pictures. My kids LOVED the infinity pool. We all got to enjoy massages on the second floor of the tiki hut overlooking the ocean with unbelievable cool breezes. We wandered the extensive property through the front path with an excellently kept junglelike feel, through the secret garden’s huge doors to get a glimpse of a bubbling fountain and Hindu treasures and then through the backyard (turned perfect soccer field) down to the gentle ocean waves. From the moment we found the property Jennifer, the hostess, was warm, friendly and on top of every detail. Anik made sure we had a lift from the airport and greeted us warmly upon arrival. Agus made sure we had a ride anytime we needed it, went above and beyond with planning our ‘to do’ list and even calling in a favor to get us fresh prawns for dinner. He has such a caring heart, is a great musician and is a true family man. Gede was a ‘Jack of all trades’ and took care of all the finer details. He even took me into town by teaching me how to ride a motorbike so I could go to the money changer. Iluh, our chef, could not have been more wonderful. She was, to me, the shining star. The last day of our trip she took her own time to teach us how to make offerings out of coconut leaves and fresh flowers and explaining that they had prayed and made offerings for us, (strangers) to have safe travels and happiness in Bali. (This show of selflessness brought tears to my eyes) one of the best trips of my entire life. Thank you to everyone. Even the warm greetings by the security guard and gardeners made us feel so welcome.
Auf Empfehlung von unseren Freunden, die bereits zweimal in der Villa Sedang waren, konnten wir endlich und nach zweimaliger Verschiebung wegen Covid im Haus von Jennifer unsere Auszeit auf Bali genießen. Und es fällt schwer, die Kommentare von Stefan (November 2018 und November 2016) nicht einfach zu kopieren. Genau so, wie Stefan es beschrieben hat, war und ist es: Willkommen im Paradies!!! Unsere hohen Erwartungen (=wir waren vorinformiert) wurden weit übertroffen: In einer Traumvilla mit privatem Infinity-Pool, top gepflegtem tropischen Garten und direktem Meerblick den Urlaub zu verbringen ist das Eine. Dabei aber von unglaublich netten und herzlichen Menschen verwöhnt zu werden, das andere. Wie Stefan es bereits geschrieben hat: Iluh, Gede, Agus, Budi und Widi machen den Unterschied! Es gibt kein Luxushotel, in dem wir jemals so verwöhnt wurden und uns aufmerksam wirklich jeder Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen wurde. Danke an Euch alle! Egal, ob es Tagestouren über die Insel waren, die Agus als Fahrer und Guide zu einzigartigen und informativen Events gemacht hat, oder unsere Essenswünsche, die Iluh täglich mit Liebe und in herausragender Qualität (alles frisch!!!) stundenlang für uns eingekauft und gekocht hat: kein Wunsch war zu viel, kein Weg zu weit. Täglich wurde in der Früh gezaubert: noch vor dem Aufstehen wurde das gesamte Haus gereinigt und alles war mit frischen Blumen aus dem Garten dekoriert. Der Kaffee duftete bereits, als wir aufwachten und während wir unser Frühschwimmen und Frühstück genossen hatten, wurde bereits das Zimmer gründlich und liebevoll gemacht: danke Gede - Du warst überall und jederzeit für uns da. Und dann war da noch Budi, der den Garten täglich in Form hielt und ganz "nebenbei" noch unsere Handtücher zusammenlegte, tauschte, rollte, dekorierte und bei einem Regenschauer ganz schnell alles in Sicherheit brachte. Und Widi übernahm die Nachtschicht mit seinen Rundgängen durch den Garten und rund um das Haus. Was für ein tolles Team, wo jeder dem anderen geholfen hat und niemandem ein Weg zu weit war. Das hat unseren Urlaub besonders und besonders erholsam gemacht! Erholung gab es überall! Nichts mussten wir selbst machen: Agus organisierte Massagen, die direkt im Haus auf vorhandenen Massageliegen durch Anik und Komeg professionell erfolgten. Scooter (Roller) wurden uns direkt ins Haus geliefert. SIM Karten wurden uns ins Haus gebracht... ich könnte ewig weiterberichten... So sieht perfekter Urlaub aus! Danke an Jen für die tolle Villa, in die Du permanent investierst (=sieht und merkt man) und danke an das Team der Villa für ein Urlaubserlebnis, das wir in keinem Luxushotel hatten. Ihr seid viel, viel besser! Weiter so und bis hoffentlich ganz bald mal wieder :-)
For people looking for some awesomeness this is the ideal place to stay, I don’t even know how to start this review! The house is just like a dream, you feel in heaven in such a open space right in front of the sea! The bedrooms are gorgeous and the three of them have something particular and special! The staff is just the best type of people I’ve even met in my life: supportive, happy, good energy, friendly… if you go there, please take care of them, they are people I miss and I’m sure you’re gonna feel the same! Séjour incroyable dans cette villa, encore meilleur que sur les photos. Un personnel au top, au petits soins pour nous, on pouvait pas mieux atterrir, la cuisine de iluh est excellente, en plus elle s’adapte à vos désires. Agus super gentil, serviable, toujours présent en cas de besoins, ils nous a montré de super endroit. Franchement 10/10. Pour vous détendre et prendre du repos c’est le meilleur des endroits, mais si vous voulez bougez, visitez, découvrir le pays ou bien aller dans de bon restaurants ce n’est vraiment pas le bon emplacement. À 3h de toutes villes touristiques.
Jennifer and her place were both wonderful! It became a very special place for my family and I. The staff were attentive and Iluh's cooking was like none other. Amazing place with great hospitality
This villa is absolutely stunning. It captures the ambiance of Bali, melding the comfort and luxury of summer vacation with the small life secret village atmosphere. The walk up to the house alone with shading trees, gorgeous fountains that blend into the scene, and the melodic birds set the vacation mood. And the rest of the villa did not disappoint, it was absolutely beautiful. The villa was spacious and was showered in natural light from the many windows. The living room opened up to a well groomed back yard and infinity pool where days were spent relaxing and cooling off in the pool overlooking the ocean. Now if the villa wasn’t enough to make our vacation one to remember we had the privilege to experience the highest level of hospitality from the villa staff. Augus, Gede, lluh, and Komang were not the only staff in the villa but they were the staff we came into contact with. Augus was continuously trying to make our experience better by expanding our itinerary so that we could see more of Bali and enjoy it. Everytime we needed a driver, Komang was there In a heartbeat ready to take us any and everywhere. Gede made sure the villa stayed clean and that we had everything we needed every day in the villa. And last but not least, the cook, LLuh who’s food was absolutely delicious. It was the best food we had in Bali :) we tried many different dishes from her and each one was to die for leaving us full and with food to spare. This villa fulfilled its purpose and then some with everything it had to offer and I would recommend it for anyone who decides to make a trip to Bali.

Diese Villa mit ihren Angestellten ist einfach nur traumhaft. Wir haben dort wunderbare Urlaubstage verbracht und sind insbesondere von Iluh und Gede regelrecht verwöhnt worden. Agus stand uns für Fragen und Tipps rund um die Uhr zur Verfügung. Obwohl die Villa etwas abgelegen ist, hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Das ganze Team ist super freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr umsichtig. Wir werden es vermissen und sind uns sicher, dass wir noch mal wieder kommen.
Hard to begin with this place. The location is stunning, and the villa itself impossible to fault, but it was the staff who made the holiday so special. Their completely genuine desire to make our stay as perfect as they possibly could was almost unbearably touching. Gede, Iluh, Komang and Agus were just wonderful, helpful and charming. Iluh's cooking is to-die-for, Agus is constantly looking for ways to make your stay even more enjoyable with excursions and trips, Komang couldn't be more helpful as driver and Gede is just the most adorable human being. Other members of staff were equally lovely, but these are the four we spent most time with. They are all very proud of their amazing island, and rightfully sent us home feeling we had visited a very special part of paradise. Miss it already!
Thank you to Jennifer & all the staff for a truly relaxing & much needed break at this beautiful villa. To all the wonderful staff we were just in awe by the way you took care of us. Never intrusive, delicious fresh locally produced food each day & always on hand for day trip advice or a chat after dinner. Your genuine interest in our wellbeing continued even until we were safely home again. The villa was spotless & we never wanted for a thing. A highlight for us late afternoons was sitting in the day bed at the end of garden waving back to the children & adults on their way to the other end of the beach. A walk to the village one day resulted in being invited into a local mans home. The people here incredibly kind and genuine, we always felt safe. We wanted a complete break so the locality of the Villa was not an issue. We would use the services of the car/driver every other day to explore the surrounding area. We would highly recommend you arrange a very affordable massage at the Villa at least every other day...trust us these ladies are miracle workers. Very warm regards Wayne & Sally

This was without a doubt one of the most amazing airbnb experiences we have had. Jennifer’s house is stunning and extremely comfortable and the pictures almost don’t do it justice. But in reality what actually made it an amazing experience was the staff at the Villa. Agus really did look after us well and organized everything from drinks (he makes a mean cocktail) and all the activity’s we did. The Villa is reasonably remote so be aware you will need to utilize the Villa’s driver Komang who drove us around all week. Illa is an amazing cook and made most of the meals we had and Gede really looked after us especially at meal times. I could go on and on how amazing the week was, but I am genuinely working out how we can can get back there in the next 12 months.
Villa Sedang is an amazing villa with great facilities and amazing staff. They made our stay remarkable and unforgettable. Nothing is too much and their help and advice is honest and genuine. We had soo much fun in the infinity pool. A real recommendation.
From the moment I found this property on Airbnb, I knew it was something special. Oh my goodness! Special is an understatement! The property is amazing. Wonderfully clean and modern with definite nods to the Balinese culture. The winding walkway to the front door takes you to this hidden gem. The open floor plan allows you to see from the front door clear through the house, across the pool, the back yard and to the sea. The privacy makes you feel like you've got the whole island to yourself. The infinity pool is wonderful and looks like it was built to fit the property perfectly. As if the property weren't enough, the staff is absolutely wonderful! We have never been so spoiled in our entire lives. Agus will arrange anything and everything for you from airport transport, massages at the villa, dinner reservations and excursions. Iluh is a wonderful cook and will make all of your meals for you if you wish. Gede and the rest of the staff do a terrific job keeping the house and property in great shape and tending to your needs. We felt so comfortable and secure in the fact that the staff truly had our best wishes at heart. I cannot recommend this property enough. Jennifer, your host was easy to work with and prompt with replies to any questions.

We had a fantastic holiday at Villa Sedang. So pleased we chose North Bali over the busy south. There’s still plenty to see and do and the house and pool are amazing to just sit and relax. Perfect!
From the time we landed the Bali Airport, we have received the most amazing hospitality. Driver Komang picked us up at the airport and then we went straight to the villa. His driving skill was great. We arrived at the villa just after 12:00am, and we were shocked that Agus (the host manager) and others are still waiting for us and gave us a very special welcome. Cook Iluh cooking was amazing, we just told her to surprise us and she will cook a lot of yummy food for us everyday. Agus has provided us a lot of information of what we can do in North Bali and solved all our issues and bring us to a lot of amazing places which kids enjoy a lot (especially the water fall and big swing). As mention by everyone already, this place is spotless and our three kids enjoy the infinitely pool every day during our stay. Can't say enough about this place and our kids already told us that they would love to return to this villa soon. You have to experience it to understand. Hope this review help anyone who still wondering about this place!

Wow wow wow, From the moment we arrived until we left It couldn’t have been more perfect!! This was indeed paradise! And much much more than what we expected! Jennifer was an incredible host. The staff starting from the main Bus Boy Agus who was there if we needed anything at all to make our stay so enjoyable. Our meals prepared daily by our private chef Itu. Total care and attentiveness by Gede our private bus boy. To the beautiful gardens & fresh flowers everywhere. We just loved everything. Our daily massages by the pool! What can we say this trip & stay was beyond amazing! Definitely will return & recommend to everyone!
Wir hatten zum 2. Mal die Möglichkeit im Haus von Jennifer unseren Urlaub zu verbringen. Wir bereits vor 2 Jahren war alles einwandfrei sauber und die 10 Tage waren die reinste Erholung. Auch wenn man unsere Begeisterung aus dem Beitrag von vor 2 Jahren gerade nochmals kopieren könnte, wollen wir definitiv nochmals die Menschen hervorheben, welche in der Villa arbeiten. Diese machen einen gebuchten Traumurlaub im Haus am Meer dann noch zu etwas Speziellem. Für uns auch der Hauptgrund, genau wieder hierher zurückzukehren, da wir uns vor allem auch freuten, Agus/Iluh/Gede/Budi/Dollar und Widi nochmals zu treffen. Jeder leistet auf seinem Gebiet einfach tolle Arbeit und gibt einem das Gefühl daheim zu sein. Danke :)
After a beautiful cultural drive from the north we arrive to Jennifer’s place with open arms from the most amazing,Agus. Followed by a personal massage on the terrace.. The cook Iluh’s food was amazing. After traveling around Asia it was very nice to have truly home cooked meal. If your looking for over the top service on a shoestring budget and trying live like the tv show dynasty. You must stay here for the experience. What you’ve read in all the reviews is 100% true. The house is very spacious,the staff is thoughtful and the location is beyond peaceful. The landscape gives you Mother Nature. The locals give you innocent smiles. The calm beach gives you namaste. It was truly what I needed at the end of my vacation.
Great villa and staff. There is actually a decent coral reef that you can snorkle on directly from the beech. The staff was great.
It’s unfortunate that you can only give five star rating. Because I would give them all the stars in the sky as a rating. We were blown away by all the care that was given by the staff. I can’t even begin to describe how amazing your Airbnb was. We had so much fun and were pampered so much. The staff was beyond amazing. They were so kind and gracious, helpful and hardworking. The home looked just like the photos online but better because it was real! The pool was beyond amazing and the perfect temperature. The beach was literally at our fingertips. Villa conforme aux descriptions, avec une équipe sur place (locale) très attentive et sympa, qui vous conseille sur les différentes possibilités d'excursions et pour la logistique. Nous y avons passé 15 jours avec plaisir. Si vous voulez sortir de la villa pour visiter, une voiture est nécessaire et est disponible avec chauffeur (fortement conseillé vu le trafic ;-)) pour un prix raisonnable.
Beautiful villa! Looks exactly like the pictures! It is very far from the airport, if you get motion sickness easily it isn’t an easy drive from the airport. I suggest taking Gravel before the drive. It is extremely quiet, but there is a walking path in between the end of the property and the beach, so do expect people to be walking by or driving by on their scooters. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff is amazing and hard working. They made sure we had everything we needed, food was made on time and punctual. They were the loveliest staff we encountered during our stay. We cannot wait to go back! We have already had multiple people ask for the villa details.

Nach Beendigung unserer Java Rundreise haben wir (2 Pärchen) in der Villa Sedang eine Woche Tage lang relaxed. Die Villa und das team sind wirklich großartig Anik hat unseren Transfer von Gilimanuk zur Villa im Vorfeld organisiert. In der Villa wurden wir herzlich mit Blumenketten, Erfrischungsgetränken und einem köstichen Abendessen begrüßt. Die Villa ist in einem top-zustand, geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail, eingerichtet. Der Garten, die Terasse und Gazebo sind wunderschön angelegt und laden zum Entspannen mit Blick aufs Meer ein. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß und stets sauber. Das wirkliche Highlight ist jedoch das tolle team, das den Aufenthalt in der Villa Sedang zu etwas ganz Besonderem macht. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle im team und ein besonderes Dankeschön an Agus, Illuh und Gede. Die Zeit in der Villa war fantastisch und wird uns in wunderschöner Erinnerung bleiben...
The Villa Sedang was really amazing. The entrance leads through a beautiful tropical garden, from the pool you have a wonderful sea view and the luxuary villa is perfectly designed. The staff members who run the house are a perfect and very friendly team. The food was delicious and everybody took care of us whilst no being intrusive. We can fully recommend this place.
Unsere Familie mit vier Personen hat jede Minute des 6-tägigen Aufenthaltes in der Villa Sedang genossen. Insgesamt haben wir uns wie in einem privaten Fünfsternehotel gefühlt. Iluh hat uns mit dem besten Essen unserer Reise auf Bali verwöhnt - und das zu einem unschlagbaren Preis, da für Lunch und Abendessen nur die eingekauften Nahrungsmittel bezahlt werden müssen. Gede hat sich wundervoll um unsere Belange in der Villa gekümmert und Agus hat uns toll bei der Ausrichtung unserer Ausflüge unterstützt. Alle Angestellten (auch die beiden Gärtner, der Nachtwächter und der Fahrer) kommen aus dem benachbarten Dorf und sind sehr herzlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns dadurch immer sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Direkt vor der Villa befindet sich zwar kein Sandstrand, bei Ebbe lässt sich dadurch in den zwischen den Steinen sich bildenden Gezeitentümpeln ganz fantastisch die Wasserwelt betrachten – wir haben neben verschiedenen Garnelen, Seegurken, Muscheln und Schnecken sogar einen Feuerfisch gesehen. In Gehweite Richtung Osten befindet sich allerdings ein schwarzer Sandstrand, an dem die Einheimischen im Meer gebadet haben. Nur der Vollständigkeit halber sei noch erwähnt, dass sich die Villa samt Garten und Pool in einem hervorragenden Zustand befindet – WLAN, Sauberkeit, Ausstattung, etc., alles einwandfrei. Herzliche Dank natürlich auch an Jennifer, die immer sehr schnell geantwortet hat und uns im Vorfeld ein umfangreiches und ausgesprochen hilfreiches Informationspaket bereitgestellt hat. Die Villa ist in jeder Hinsicht zu empfehlen und wenn wir wieder auf Bali sind, werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
This beautiful villa and its lovely staff are so wonderful. Our communication before our stay was fast, easy, and friendly. The airport pick-up was great, and the whole staff was there to greet us and make us welcome when we arrived at the villa. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and completely clean. The pool and gardens are well cared for and so pleasant, and the beach just outside offers great snorkeling. What makes Villa Sedang truly special is the outstanding staff. They are at once warm and friendly and totally unobtrusive. Ilhu is a gifted chef, Gede keeps everything spotless, and Agus is happy to recommend and arrange a range of activities. It’s hard to imagine how the experience could be better. Thank you, Jennifer! We look forward to a chance to come back!
Fantastic place with great views of the ocean and nice modern clean accommodation. Staff were exceptional Iluh and Gede looked after us really well. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Sure to stay in Villa Sedang on our next visit to Bali, don’t miss this gem of place.
Wow!! Beautiful place, great location and unbelievable staff to take care of your every need. Can't express how pampered we were during our stay. The staff was great at giving us ideas of what to do and even acted as our guide for one of the best days ever. (even with a little spill of the scooter) :) We ate most of our meals at the Villa and they were all excellent.
We had an amazing luxury experience. The villa/pool/garden are better in real life and the service delivered by the staff was outstanding. Special thanks to Iluh (the best cook ever), Gede (for his attention to details) and Agus (for his availability and reactiveness). The only negative points were (i) the presence of two dogs from outside who could come and go in the garden area and sometimes next to the pool (however they were not agressive and it was easy to make them leave); and (ii) the many insects which managed to find a way inside the villa (however this was totally normal considering the proximity to nature and the vibrant garden). We will come back for sure!
We loved this home. Spectacular gardens. Well maintained. Pool was even more beautiful in “real life”. We enjoyed our day trips to the waterfall and Buddhist temple and hot springs. The driver was very good. Staff were lovely and not in the way. The marigolds all over the house and large flower leis were a perfect touch. We enjoyed walking through the fields and having the locals greet us so warmly. There was a couple of dogs near the property that my kids fell in love with. All in all a perfect stay!
Agus, Gede and Iluh made our stay so special. Especially on my mums birthday. Nothing was too much trouble and Iluhs cooking was unbelievable. Right on the beach and away from the hustle and bustle. Never wanted to go back somewhere but would definitely visit Villa Sedang again, thank you.
Wie bereits in vielen Bewertungen beschrieben, ist Villa Sedang ein ganz besonderer Ort. Wir haben drei ganze Wochen dort verbracht. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben und noch schöner als auf den Bildern, die Betten sind sehr komfortabel und es fehlt an nichts. Die Köchin Iluh, Gdeh und Agus haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir einen unglaublich komfortablen Aufenthalt hatten und da wir so lange dort waren, konten wir auch einiges von ihnen und ihrem Leben erfahren. Auch die Gärtner und der Nachtwächter waren sehr angenehm und wir konnten den Komfort eines Hotels und dennoch im eigenen Hause geniessen. Der Garten ist einmalig schön und die Geräusche von all den Insekten sobald es dämmert vermitteln augenblicklich ein Gefühl von Tropenwald. Im Meer haben wir jeden Tag gebadet, es war herrlich und wir waren nebst den Kindern aus dem Dorf, den Fischern und den Hühnern und Hunden, die da überall herum spatzieren, die einzigen Touristen, was für Bali wohl sehr selten ist. Gegen Abend kam dann das halbe Dorf an den Strand und es war eine lebhafte und wohl authentische Stimmung für das, was das Leben in Bali ausmacht, weit ab von Happy Hour und anderen Touristenattraktionen. Doch lässt genau dies viel Raum für spannende Begegnungen mit den Menschen, die dort leben. Wir konnten auch regelmässig von der Massage in der Villa profitieren, etwas was wir nur sehr empfehlen können. Unser Fahrer Putu war hervorragend. Er hat alles möglich gemacht und uns mit viel Hintergrundswissen und grosser Umsicht auf unseren Ausflügen begleitet. Es ist absolut kein Problem, dies alles vor Ort zu organisieren. Wir waren während der Regenzeit da und waren vor unserer Reise noch etwas unsicher, was das Wetter anbelangt. Doch hatten wir jeden Tag sonniges Wetter und wenn Regen oder ein Gewitter kam, war dies eine sehr willkommene Abwechslung und brachte oft auch einmalige Stimmungen am Himmel mit sich. Für Wander-Ausflüge in die Berge sind gute Schuhe, Regenschutz und Mückenspray sowie etwas Warmes sehr nützlich, unten im Flachland haben wir selbst bei Regen nie etwas langärmeliges angezogen. In Lovina gibt es einen Supermarkt Pepito, in dem man eigentlich fast alles findet, was wir uns in Europa gewohnt sind. Es war auch problemlos Töffs zu mieten für etwa 5 Euro pro Tag, und so auch die Gegend zu erkunden. Wir haben die ganze Zeit nur im Norden verbracht und von der Villa aus Ausflüge gemacht. Und es gibt dort sehr viel zu sehen, meist weit ab von Touristen. Doch mit wertvollen Begegnungen mit den Balinesen, die uns auch in vielen Bereichen gerne von ihrem Alltag berichtet haben und uns an Ritualen und Zeremonien teilhaben liessen, die uns ein nochmals ganz anderes Verständnis für den balinesischen Alltag vermittelt haben. Am frühen morgen kann man am Ende des Gartens auf der Mauer sitzen, aufs Meer blicken und den Tag willkommen heissen, ab uns zu kommen die ersten Balinesen vorbei und grüssen und plaudern kurz, und die Weite des Meeres und des Himmels dort sind unvergesslich. Ein grosses Dankeschön an alle, die uns da so...
Wir hatten als Familie einen wirklich unvergesslichen, tollen Aufenthalt in der Villa Sedang! Das Haus, das Personal; wirklich besser als beschrieben und erwartet! Es ist zwar etwas mühsam nach einer langen Reise auch noch rund 3,5 Std. mit dem Auto zum Haus zu fahren, es lohnt sich aber wirklich. Wir wurden herzlichst vom ganzen Personal empfangen und auch das Haus...wirklich ein Traum! Wie beschrieben liegt das Haus etwas ausserhalb und man ist auf ein Fahrzeug angewiesen wenn man etwas besichtigen, oder einkaufen möchte. Aber alles kein Problem es wird alles organisiert, etweder ein Fahrer oder die Eikäufe werden direkt durch Agus, Gede oder Illuh erledigt. Ganz speziell möchten wir die Kochkünste von Iluh hervorheben. Um uns nicht den Kopf darüber zerbrechen zu müssen was wir jeden Tag essen möchten haben wir Iluh die Entscheidung überlassen und uns jeden Tag auf das Essen gefreut. Wir genossen das abwechslungsreiche, und immer mit einheimischen Spezialitäten angerichtete Essen! Nochmals besten Dank! Wir wurden wirklich verwöhnt und der ganze Service verdient 5 Sterne! Stets ein sauberer Pool, ein gepflegter Garten. Auch das Haus wurde stets gereinigt; wirklich empfehlenswert. Wer Ferien machen will, weg vom Tourismus, Ruhe geniessen, ist hier an der richtigen Stelle. Einzig der Sandstrand fehlt ein wenig. Man kann dem Meer entlang gehen jedoch besteht keine grosse Möglichkeit direkt ins Meer baden zu gehen oder am Strand ein Sonnenbad zu nehmen. Aber der tolle Pool und die damit verbundene Aussicht aufs Meer gleichen dies wieder aus! Wir können die Villa Sedang nur weiter empfehlen!
Stellar! From the arrival experience to the meals to the engaging staff, this was a 5 star stay. We were three couples travelling together, we all want to return. The location is a little more remote than other destinations but it gave us a rest from Bali's crazy pace. Elu's cooking is amazing, some of the best food in Bali so we were happy to chill out, enjoy our surroundings, play in the ocean and bond as a group before moving on to our next destination. I've been in hospitality for 40 years, 25 in a luxury brand hotel chain, 15 in restaurants, I know what genuine engaging service is all about and they staff hit the mark 100%. As always as much as the physical building was perfect, we will always remember the staff. Well done Jennifer to put together a team of staff that serves your beautiful property so beautifully. I look forward to returning one day down the road.
This place is an absolute must if you're visiting Bali. The property is located in a nice quit location away from the hustke and bustle. The staff are the most pleasant and accommodating people I've ever met. We absolutely loved everything about the place, from the pool to the ocean which is in the back yard, yes thay close. There's a gazebo at the rear of the property for lounging while listening to the waves crash on the shore. The property modern but has that Balinese feel about it. It is very well kept, very clean. I highly recommend this place. We would definitely go back. I really didn't want to leave.

This place is an absolute gem in Bali. I couldn’t have imagined a better place to finish our trip around Asia. The place was spotlessly clean and the service was exceptional. I will definitely be coming back in the near future!
We've stayed at Villa Sedang full two weeks and it was even better than expected (...which was not easy, because our expectations were already quite high after having read all the great reviews :-)!). The Villa & the staff is absolutely as described in all the reviews. The Villa is just fantastic (interior, pool, garden, everything) and the staff is just amazing. Illuh cooked the best dishes we've ever eaten (honestly, we already miss her food!) and we really thought we were in paradise. Agus & Gede were always there, so friendly & always helpful (as everybody!) and they all (also the gardeners, Widi and the driver) made our stay very, very special and really unforgettable. Thanks for letting us stay in paradise for two weeks!

Weiterempfehlung 100% Unser Aufenthalt in dieser Villa hat unsere Bali-Reise perfekt gemacht. Eingebettet in einen wunderschönen, tropischen Garten, kann man hier einen wunderbaren Urlaub verbringen. Das was Jen und ihr Team vor Ort auf die Beine gestellt haben ist, wenn man die Gegebenheiten betrachtet, perfekt. Man wird von morgens bis abends rührend umsorgt. Egal um was es geht, es werden einem sämtliche Wünsche erfüllt. Man kann hier die Annehmlichkeiten eines super Hotels genießen und gleichzeitig ganz für sich sein. Schon im Vorfeld fühlt man sich willkommen und wird mit allen nötigen Informationen versorgt. Man muss sich jedoch auch bewusst sein, dass das Haus außerhalb des ganzen Bali-Trubels liegt. Für uns war jedoch auch genau das ein Grund dieses Haus zu mieten. Im ruhigen Norden von Bali kann man immer noch das ursprüngliche Bali erleben. Vor allem auf unseren Touren mit dem Fahrer haben wir viel über das Leben dort erfahren, ebenso kann man Orte besichtigen die noch nicht von Touristen überrannt sind. So wird sogar die ca. 3h Fahrt zum Flughafen zu einem Seightseeing-Trip. Einen Urlaub in diesem Haus kann man nicht bereuen! Das Essen, die Sauberkeit, die Organisation, ..., perfekt!!! Das Team leistet wirklich großartige Arbeit. Den einzigen "negativen" Punkt den man anführen könnte, ist der nicht wirklich vorhandene Strand. Uns hat das nicht gestört und wenn man ein bisschen fährt kommt man auch an schöne Strände, nur eben nicht direkt am Haus.

The Villa is very nice and beautiful just like in the description. The pool and the garden are breath taking. Especially when you see the sunset from the garden. It was like heaven. The working staff was amazing. A big thank you to Illuh and Gede . Illuh won our hearts with her cooking skills. Gede was our very nice houseboy who was very helpful with every question we had. A Special big thank you goes to Ariel the Driver. We became friends with him from the first day and we spent almost every day with him as he knows Bali very well and can bring you to Special places. We miss him the most and are glad that we got to know each other. The stay at the Villa and Bali will be never forgotten and stay in our hearts.
Die Villa ist wirklich perfekt. Die Besitzerin leistet einen großartigen Job. Wenn man, wie wir, viel in SE Asien unterwegs ist und sich mit Villas ein wenig auskennt, ist man erst Recht begeistert wie es Jen und ihrem Team gelingt, die Villa angesichts der Rahmenbedingungen in einem derart perfekten Zustand zu halten. Dinge, die uns alltäglich vorkommen sind es eben in SE Asien nicht, wie perfekter Wasserdruck warm / kalt, keine Probleme mit der Stromversorgung, pünktliches und engagiertes Personal, funktionierendes performantes Wifi, funktionierende Lampen, Sauberkeit usw. usw. Wir sind sehr beeindruckt. Neben kluger Bauart ist das dem Engagement der Besitzerin Jen zu verdanken und dem siebenköpfigen (!) Team nebst Managerin. Alle sind nicht nur sehr freundlich sondern auch extrem engagiert wenn auch nur die kleinste Sache mal nicht in Ordnung ist und alle versuchen einem die Wünsche von den Lippen abzulesen. Das Team harmoniert auch untereinander. Als Gast muß einem nur klar sein daß die eigene Religion und ihre Rituale eine herausragende Rolle für die Leute spielt und das gilt es eben auch respektieren, etwa wenn es darum geht sie mal freizustellen für eine Zeremonie oder entsptrechend respektvoll mit den vielen im Haus und Garten verteilten Tempeln und Opfergaben umzugehen. Uns nahm man dann auch zu einer Zeremonie im nahegelegenenen Dorf Kalisada mit (die bis in den morgen ging) und wir waren zutiefst beeindruckt von der Freundlichkeit und der Spiritualität der Menschen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, die Villa traumhaft, der Garten phänomenal, der Pool sehr groß, man hat einen riesigen Rasen, ein Sala am Meer mit Sonnenuntergängen aus dem Bilderbuch ... alles. Einziger Haken ist die Lage. Man fährt gute vier Stunden von Denpasar und trotz extrem vorsichtigen und sicher fahrenden Fahrer ist das eine reine Tortur weil die Straßen sehr schlecht sind. Und ist man einmal in der Villa ist der Fahrer auch die einzige Möglichkeit, woanders hin zu kommen. Ariel ist gerne bereit, einen überall hin zu fahren aber die Wege sind weit sehr sehr lang und nach einem Tag im Auto verliert man die Lust zu großen Touren über die Insel. Auch Einkaufen ist unsinnig wenn man meint es selber tun zu können. Supermärkte wie wir sie kennen oder wie es sie auch in Thailand in Touristengebieten gibt sind in Indonesien sehr anders. Aber das Hauspersonal kann alles besorgen zu vernünftigen Preisen, wir raten also dazu das in Anspruch zu nehmen. Der Strand an der Villa ist nicht sehr einladend weil es eben Vulkansand ist (dunkel), im Wasser Korallen sind und viele Steine und das ganze Strandambiente nicht so sehr zum Strandbaden einlädt. Angesichts des tollen Infinity Pools auch kein Problem. Muß einem nur klar sein, wenn man da hinfährt, dann hat man wirklich viel Ruhe für sich und seine Lieben. Auch mal nicht schlecht. Wir haben uns jeden Abend von Iluh der Köchin bekochen lassen und es gab jedes mal was anderes (indonesisches), es war jedesmal sehr sehr lecker, spottbillig und wir hatten nie Probleme mit dem Bali-Bauch. Ein echter Gegensatz zu den Touristengegebenden, perfekt...
All I can say is...WOW. This place definitely exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. After a long drive from the south (Ariel the driver drove us and knew exactly where to stop for some great sight seeing) we were greeted by the whole staff with flowers and a cold juice drink and shown around the beautiful property. The complimentary chicken satay dinner was the perfect way to start off our amazing week at this villa. Agus, the house boy was there to answer any questions and book any activities for us, making it that much easier to enjoy ourselves and relax. Iluh, the chef was so sweet an amazing. Her spring rolls are a must. We could've eaten them all day. Definitely take advantage of having Ariel drive you around and getting to know the culture. He's very knowledgeable and made our trip that much better. I would definitely be back here!!
We rented Villa Palmeira und Villa Sedang for our wedding party with a group of 24 people. We had 5 perfect days with our friends and family, Anik (the manager) and the whole staff at this beautiful place. The kitchen was managed by Nita and an additional cook from Villa Sedang. Every evening they prepared excellent food for us. Before our stay we were in contact with Jennifer and Anik. They helped us to Organise an amazing wedding for us and arranged everything: a Balinese priest and blessing, a DJ, Soundsystem, decoration and stayed in our budget, The communication was perfect, so that we could easily manage everything from Germany. We can recommend everybody to go to Villa Sedang - it is a magical place.
Wonderful place to stay. The staff is amazing. Ilhu cooks wonderful meals and everybody is available to help with whatever you need 24/7. The property is beautiful and the pool is also kept in good good shape.

Thank you for a wonderful beginning of our first holiday on Bali. The house, pool and garden was fantastic. Everything was even better than our high expectations had hoped for. The people working at Villa Sedang did their very best making our stay pleasant and they succeeded!! The strongest experience for the whole family was the kindness, empathy and hospitality of the staff. They were easy to talk to and learned us about many different things in their culture. It is obvious that the Jennifer and the staff care about the culture, Villa Sedang and its guests. Before we left for Bali, Jennifer send us a lot of information about the staff, house and the area, which was a great help. If we ever go back to Bali, we will definitely visit Villa Sedang.
super love the place and how secluded it is. the villa is beautiful and the staff are so friendly and helpful in every way. food is awesome although a little on the high side. wish we could have more time there. would definitely find the chance and opportunity to bring my family there. thank you so much!!
Jennifer's villa is exactly as advertised, if not better! My friend and I booked for 2 nights originally but had to extend another 2 nights as we did not want to leave! The staff are very accommodating and lovely and the villa is beautiful. We highly recommend the dolphin watching trip (which you can arrange with the staff there) and Ami's spa (we had a relaxing aromatherapy massage and a facial - one of the best we've had) The cook is amazing and the staff looked after us so well. We loved the villa and never wanted to leave! We had such a relaxing time and would definitely recommend staying here.
A very memorable trip and fantastic stay in this Villa. Jennifer is a very responsible host who communicated with us before the trip and provided lots of information of facilities and services within the villa. Also, she gave us suggestions of nearby restaurants, sightseeing spots, shopping places, massage etc. These information are useful while there's lack of info about Lovina on the travel guidebook. We didn't have enough time to try them all out. One of the reasons is because Iluh is such a good cook that we didn't have to dine outside, we could design our lunch and dinner menu with Agus and they handled everything. We do really appreciate the helpful and friendly staff in the villa. Moreover, the dolphin watching tour is highly recommended! It was amazing to see so many dolphins jumping that close in front of us, unforgettable!! Regarding the environment, villa is spacious and big enough for family, looks same as the photos. But mosquitos and other insects are inevitable as we are really so close to the nature. And I think the fabric sofa or seat cushions need some more attention on the cleanliness , as I was allergic to it wherever I lied on them and got lots of rashes. Luckily Agus helped to buy me medicine. Overall, we are satisfied with the stay here and we all feel that we've been well taken care of.
Simply stunning. The staff are wonderfully attentive, the place is fantastic, the views of sunset breathtaking. Make sure you go early morning dolphin viewing too, from just outside the villa.
Det var en fantastisk oplevelse at bo i Villa Sedang. Villaen er næsten bedre og smukkere end på fotoene. Personalet er virkelig fantastisk - uanset om det drejer sig om hjælp til planlægning af ture, hjælp til vasketøj eller madlavning. De var også rigtig søde til at fortælle om den balinesiske kultur og deres forskellige ceremonier. Villaen ligger lidt isoleret, men personalet hjælper gerne med at hente is, sodavand mm, hvis man gerne vil have det. Vi har absolut kun positivt at sige om vores ophold i Villa Sedang og vil helt klart anbefale andre at bo der. Vi håber virkelig, vi får mulighed for at komme tilbage en gang.
Beautiful place to relax, tucked away in the northern part of the country, away from the business. Highly recommend a trip to the waterfalls. Staff takes care of everything and took care of all of our needs, they are amazing! Cooked delicious food, pool was amazing, interior really felt Balinese. Ocean view was ideal.
We loved Villa Sedang! We had a wonderful stay at the house and Agus, Iluh, Gede and Ariel took very good care of us and our one year old baby. Would recommend it to everyone who is ready for some quiet and relaxing times.

The location of the villa is perfect for us, very quiet and on the beach although the water and sand isnt good, but our family spent most of the time in the house and relaxed, have fun together. the internet connection is surprising good. The overall condition of the villa is very good, and exactly what we see on the pictures. staff are very very nice, they helped to get what we need, and illu, the chef's cooking are very good as well. my family loves this place and will definitely come back again.

This place is truly amazing if you want to relax and disconnect from the outside world. The place is beautiful and the staff is really friendly and takes care of everything you want. We had a great time enjoying Ilut's food, having Ari taking us to nice places while on outings and Agus taking care of all practicalities. We already missed the place when we left.
Amazing villa with amazing view. Very helpful personal. But be ready if you wanna go to Kuta, it will be at least 3-4 hour trip on car ;)

We just spent a wonderful week here. The staff were great, especially Agus (head houseboy) who went out of his way to please and even came in at 5:30am to make my mom a huge Happy Birthday out of flowers on the lounge floor and Iluh (the cook) who's food was out of this world. The breakfast was huge and a great start to each day. Our only minor issue was the cost of the airport transfer as there were much cheaper options. On the whole our stay and experience was great and we would definitely recommend Villa Sedang to our friends.
This was the most beautiful experience one could want. The Villa is stunning - 100 % like in the pictures, the staff spoils you and there is no better place to relax. Agus, Illuh and especially Ariel made this stay very special for us. If you don't need a lot of "action" in your holidays, this is the place to go. The only thing you have to know (and it's not abut the villa) - the beach is very small and quite cluttered with stones and debris. Since the pool and garden are gorgeous, that was fine for us. All together a great experience for Joerg and me - thank you again
Short summary for all aspects in international language: incredible, amazing, fantastic - just perfect. Für die Details greife ich dann doch auf die Muttersprache zurück :) Schon im Vorfeld wurden alle Fragen von Jennifer sofort beantwortert und kurz vor der Abreise gab es detaillierte Hintergrundinformationen rund um die Villa sowie mögliche Aktivitäten. Da kam gleich schon die richtige Vorfreude auf. Pick-Up am Flughafen erfolgte durch Ariel absolut reibungslos und die Fahrt in den ruhigeren Norden verlief kurzweilig. Obwohl wir spät ankamen, empfing uns der komplette Staff persönlich mit Blumen sowie einem vorzüglichen Dinner. Bis auf wenige Tage unseres 2-wöchigen Aufenthaltes haben wir dann auch allzu gern auf die Kochkünste von Wayan zurückgegriffen. Wayan vertrat Illuh, welche ein Kind erwartete und während unserer Zeit auch gesund und munter zur Welt gebracht hat. Die Einarbeitung etc verlief durch Gede und Agus professionell. und wir fühlten uns von der 1. Sekunde in jeglicher Hinsicht in besten Händen. Agus organisierte jegliche Wünsche mit viel Enthusiasmus und viel Liebe zum Detail. Diese Freude an der Arbeit war auch bei Budi und Dollar im Garten zu spüren, welcher selbst für balinesische Verhältnisse ausgesprochen schön ist. In der Nacht fühlten wir uns jederzeit in sichersten Händen durch Widi. Last but not least noch einen Satz zu Ariel, mit welchem wir einige Ausflüge auf der Insel unternahmen. Er konnte jede Menge Geschichten und Hintergründe zu verschiedensten Orten, Personen und geschichtlichen Ereignissen erzählen - so bekamen wir einen tiefen Einblick in die uns so doch verschiedene Kultur und Religion. Einfach fantastisch. Zum Haus selbst ist der Beschreibung nichts hinzuzufügen - alles wie beschrieben bzw in unseren Augen übertroffen. Die komplett vorhandene Technik für DVD/TV haben wir aber gar nicht genutzt, da wir abends viel lieber auf der Terrasse mit Blick in den Garten zum Ozean saßen und die traumhafte Umgebung genossen. Summa summarum - jederzeit gern wieder. Wir hoffen schon heute, dass bei unserem nächsten Besuch ein Plätzchen für uns frei sein wird.
Arriving in the villa, we were nearly speechless. It's such an awesome and romantic place! We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Sedang. The team of Agus, the senior houseboy, was really helpful and taking care of us. Especially for our honeymoon they organized a romantic dinner in the garden. So nice! The villa was as described, everything you need was there and nearly nothing you miss. The view from the pool is so amazing and people around the little village are very nice and helpful. Contact to Jen as host was always easy and replies came quick. The way it should be! Just a perfect stay in a perfect place. We really had a great time and will surely come back someday!
Second stay in Jennifer's villa during our honeymoon in Bali, and we were still surprised by the beauty of the place, and the kindness of the staff. It should be easy to stay there for at least one week! Thanks to Gede, Agus and Wayan for the perfect dinner we had there!
Alles war perfekt! Wir wurden am Flughafen vom Fahrer abgeholt. Der gesamte Staff hat uns in der Villa empfangen mit Blumen und Dinner. Man fühlt sich von der ersten Sekunde wohl, alle Wünsche werden erfüllt. Alles wird super organisiert. Die Villa ist wunderschön und entspricht der Beschreibung. Wir waren rundum begeistert.
The stay in this house was ...incredible. First, As we could not find the villa, they came to pick us up . We came here for our honeymoon, and so the staff welcomed us with flower necklaces. They were so kind. Six people were there: two gardeners, one chef, two house boys and the security guards. They all were lovely and kind with us. We have a welcoming menu, and a drink. Regading the villa, it is simply perfect. A large overflooding pool, the ve on the ocean with the garden at the first ground, the villa is huge and peaceful. Everything is clean, quiet, and goodlooking. It is also possible to have massage at the villa for a reasonable price. Jennifer, the owner, was very available for answering questions, and everybody at the villa can manage your requests. We love so much this villa that we deciced to come back during our stay in Bali. This listing is just as described on the listing: beautiful and truly serene! Our stay was amazing and the staff even more accommodating. Jennifer was quick to respond to any of our concerns or questions and was able to get us in a day early on late notice. We had some run-ins with mosquitoes and a few big spiders but that's to be expected when you're staying in a garden as lush and well-kept as this one. Everything was in great condition, pool was the perfect temp, and although we didn't go into the ocean, sitting in the cabana next to the beach and listening to the waves was just fine for us. The food prepared for us was some of the best we had on Bali. And we were never out of options for excursions if we chose to do so -- even though we found ourselves not wanting to leave much at all. We would highly recommend staying here and will be back in the future if we're lucky enough to visit Bali a second time!
Jennifer's place is a diamond in the rough. The long drive from the airport is worth the reward and the hospitality of the staff ( definitely take advantage of Iluh's cooking and Agus will help with about any need you may have). Ariel (the driver) will get you to and from the airport and any where else you would like to go. The most relaxing stay I have had!
This place is awesome. Everything is perfect and the staff is incredible. we all miss Agus "OK!" and our wonderful chef. Compared to all restaurants we tried on this island this was the best food, and i m not joking! This is probably the best location you can get on bali for this price and what you get for. All 6 of us would love to come one day back to this place and will stay longer then only 3 Nights!

Villa Sedang is spectacular! The villa is clean, spacious, and well-maintained. I especially enjoyed the infinity pool and the gazebo. While I thoroughly reveled in these amenities, my memorable stay can be attributed to the incredible staff. They worked tirelessly to keep me comfortable, anticipating needs and making accommodations. The staff even insisted on coming into work on their day off! I was seeking a tranquil place to de-stress, and Villa Sedang was perfect. Go, relax, and see the beauty of northern Bali.
This was one of the best airbnb's I've ever stayed at! The adorable staff greeted me upon arrival and was incredibly attentive throughout my entire stay. The villa was beautifully decorated and spacious and there was a direct view of the ocean all the way from the front door. The villa is located in a quiet village and allows you to really immerse in the neighborhood. I was able to read, write, and work in perfect serenity. One of the best parts of this villa is that there is a car and driver on site ready to take you for sightseeing at any time. Driver Ari took me to see temples, walk through the village, try Luwak coffee, and even to Ubud for the day. I highly recommend this listing - perfect for the solo traveler, a romantic getaway for a couple, or a family vacation.
