Exploring Open-plan apartment "Pondok Ram" left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Open-plan apartment "Pondok Ram" was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my South Kuta plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Open-plan apartment "Pondok Ram" painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Special experience to have a time in east side of uluwatu. But, please be informed in advance that there are some insects in accomo since there are no window.

Hartelijk en een relax ontvangst van Suryani en Thomas, De omgeving en de tuin is prachtig, in de ochtend genieten van het uitzicht met een bakkie koffie en wachten tot de zon op komt. Mooie stranden zoals Sawalang en Pantai Gunung Payung, Kutuh Bali Selatan. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Pondok Ram en als je wil weten hoe het leven in de Desa is, raad ik deze GuestHouse aan!

Очень добрый и общительный дедушка!) Место тихое, в принципе то что я раньше прочитал, совпадает с увиденым, т.е.цена и само жилье) Не понравилось, что такси невозможно заказать к дому, нужно было идти к отелям напротив.

From half october till half december 2018 i was in the appartment of Thomas on the first floor. Alone. The description on airbnb is completely correct. It is an open appartment with fresh wind. Because this there is no need for airco in the livingroom, in the sleepingroom you can use the ventilator. The bathroom is simple, the water is from the ecosystem and is not very warm. To shave in the morning i used pan with warming some water first. For me it was comfortable. There is no TV, you must organise your evening amusement yourself. Thomas is an good host with respect for the privacy of his customer. We had some nice talking some evenings about the problems in the world, sipping some white wine. The family running the nearby laundry, Ibu and Kadek, is very nice too. I gave my laundry every two days with good result and she cleaned my appartment every week. They are very nice neighbours. Some critical points. The garden you can not use for sunbed, it is not the right ambience for it. If you want to use sunbed, go to the nearby Geger beach (impressive white sand) with nice sunbed, umbrella and some restaurants. I walked in the morning and came back in the evening with the Blue Bird Taksi. Once in a week i made daytours all over Bali, especially to Ubud. Over the toll way it is an easy drive. Sometimes i had problems with the wifi over internet, but Thomas is very helpful to solve these problems. There are no restaurants in the neighbourhood available without transport. My conclusion is you rent appartment in balinese neighbourhood. It is simple style, no space for hipster shops or other modern amusement. The rent of the appartment is worth the money. I had very good time and i want to come back next year.

Нам понравилось наше пребывание. Это не роскошное место, но для нас это был интересный и необычный опыт. Однажды к нам пришли обезьяны — это было неожиданно, но местные жители, которые живут рядом, сразу их прогнали. В целом у нас остались хорошие впечатления от проживания. Спасибо хозяевам!

Also Preis-/Leistung war der Hammer. Fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Kommen gerne wieder. Sind als Fremde gekommen und als Freunde gegangen.

This is such a special spot. Surrounded by local homes, you feel off the beaten track. Walking distance to Geger beach which is gloriously secluded, wonderful for swimming in, and with excellent and affordable cuisine. The garden is buzzing with wildlife. Expect ducks, feline friends, and curious geckos. Thomas, our hospitable host is welcoming and friendly, with great knowledge about the local area. Unfortunately, there is some noise pollution from a soulless villa construction site across the valley, but in Bali, and particularly in Nusa Dua, construction is difficult to avoid.

Это действительно очень хорошее место, в нем нам было очень комфортно. Все очень продумано для жизни, такого вы не почувствуете арендуя обычный номер в отеле, здесь прямо как дома. Когда находишься на балконе, тебя вс время обдувает свежий ветер, по утрам можно лежать на шезлонге и встречать рассвет, а на растущее рядом дерево в это время прилетают птицы и поют. Также в доме есть дружелюбные коты, которые тоже добавляют уюта. На скутере в 5-10 минутах разные живописные пляжи. Веранда и сама комната в реальности оказались гораздо просторнее, чем выглядят на фото. И отдельно хочу сказать про хозяина дома, Том отнёсся к нам очень по-человечески и тепло, душевный и проницательный человек, с которым было приятно общаться и соседтвовать. Благодарю!

Un soggiorno indimenticabile! La casa di Made è semplicemente meravigliosa, un vero sogno a occhi aperti. L’open space è arredato con gusto e cura nei dettagli, mentre la camera da letto e il bagno sono chiusi e molto confortevoli. Tutto era perfetto: luminosità, atmosfera, tranquillità. Ci siamo sentiti accolti e coccolati fin dal primo momento. La posizione è ottima: vicino a spiagge splendide e a spot perfetti per il surf. Non avremmo mai voluto andarcene! Grazie di cuore per questa esperienza unica. Torneremo sicuramente

Veldig hyggelig vert! Ble invitert med på selskap i den balinesisk familien som bor på tunet til Thomas. En gjestfri vert med nydelige folk på samme tun. Anbefales på det sterkeste! Stor og god plass i leiligheten! Gangavstand til Nusa Dua (3,5 km) og nydelige Geger tempel og Geger beach.

Top Unterkunft, Super Preis Leistung. Die Unterkunft entspricht genau wie auf denn bildern, das Highlight war für mich die Terrasse. Thomas ist eine sehr nette person, er war immer da wenn ich fragen hatte,und hat mir immer gute Tips gegeben was mann da alles unternehmen kann. Vielen Dank 🙏🙏🙏. Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

Le seul "hic" s'est déroulé à notre arrivée car nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à trouver. le lieu est facile d'accès mais pensez à bien demander l'adresse complète à Thomas pour le taxi. En dehors de ce contre temps, le séjour a été parfait et Thomas est un hôte remarquable. je recommande fortement.

Thomas était très accueillant, il nous a conseillé un très bon warung et s’est occupé de nous arranger la location d’un scooter et un service de laverie. Le logement est agréable, on s’y sent plongé dans la vie balinaise ! Merci, au plaisir de vous revoir Thomas Terima kasih !

C’est un logement comme on aimerait en rencontrer plus souvent. Thomas est un hôte très agréable, il vit au rez-de-chaussée tandis que les voyageurs occupent tout le premier étage, composé d’une surface ouverte vers la nature, et où se trouve la cuisine très bien équipée. La chambre et la salle de bain sont dans un espace fermé. J’ai vraiment passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement en compagnie de Thomas et de ses voisins très très sympathiques. Je recommande vivement. Merci Thomas pour ce séjour très agréable.

Abbiamo alloggiato a casa di Thomas per due settimane e siamo stati benissimo! La casa è spaziosa, alla fine di un villaggio autentico abitato da persone locali e circondato da tanta bella natura. C’è un’ottima connessione Wi-Fi che ci ha permesso di lavorare facilmente. Il letto è comodo e la casa dispone di tutto ciò che è necessario per potersi sentire a casa. Thomas è una persona molto disponibile e discreta. Ci ha dato molti consigli e ci ha aiutato a noleggiare un motorino. È un posto perfetto se ti vuoi immergere in un’esperienza autentica, lontana dai grandi resort e turismo di massa.

我过来学习冲浪的，这边有nusadua beach适合我这样的新手学习，同时也有好多高手浪点在附近。在这边租一辆摩托就非常方便了，房东thom带我去买当地人的蔬菜还有附近品类齐全的大超市。公寓是整个二楼，穿过小院单独进入，很舒服。房东住在一楼，互不打扰。 对我我这个中国人来说，公寓可以做饭，非常好。

If you're looking to stay in this area but can't afford to pay what most other hosts are asking in this area for places less attractive than this place then I recommend you to stay here. Thomas doesn't ask for much but he and his property will exceed your expectations as he and the property did mine.

Schöne geräumige Unterkunft mitten im Grünen. Besonders gut hat uns die Nähe zum Strand bzw zu den verschieden schönen und sauberen Stränden in Nusa Dua gefallen. Am besten hat uns in der Unterkunft,die große und offene Terrasse gefallen. Thomas ist ein herzensguter Mensch. Die Umgebunghat uns Familie mit Kind gut gefallen.abaeita vom Trubel. Im village aber in 5-10min im "kleinen Trubel"von Dua. Wir würden einen Roller empfehlen um alles hier zu erkunden. Zu Fuß ist es aber auch möglich? TAXIS, grab oder Gojek sind immer vorhanden. Local warungs sind direkt ums Eck, sowie laundry und kleine Supermärkte. Vor allem nachts ist es eine ruhige Gegend. Wir haben immer sehr gut geschlafen. Im Schlafzimmer gibt es einen Deckenventilator der vollkommen ausreichend ist. Preis Leistung ist top! Wir können diese Unterkunft ur empfehlen.

Cleanest place we’ve stayed at in Bali! Peaceful home with lovely neighbours. Thomas and Sury, thank you very much for everything, we loved staying at your place, we felt at home. :) We got to spend some time playing board games with Ningsih, Agus, Kadek and Komang -the lovely family next door- and it was amazing. We had most of our meals at Githa’s Warung just down the road, a lovely family from Java. We now have lots of wonderful memories that we’ll be forever grateful for. If you need transport, Thomas has a bike you can rent. If you’re a walker, you can get to some pretty amazing beaches that are quite a few kms from the house. 100% recommended! :)

Хорошее место и потрясающий хозяин. Томас очень отзывчивый и приветливый. Помог взять в аренду отличный скутер(сам нашел, сам привез) и показал хорошую фруктовую лавку, варунги и магазины. В апартаментах много свободного места, есть где готовить, большой холодильник. В апартаментах много гекконов(но не в спальне). Есть даже один большой(см 20-25), яркий токи. Если будем еще в этих краях, будем снимать жилье у Томаса

Thomas Ramdas прекрасный хозяин. Благодаря ему первые дни на Бали были великолепны. Thomas рассказывал что где рядом находится. Комнаты просторные, хорошо обставленные. Мои дети полюбили играть как дома, так и во дворе. Также у Thomas во дворе есть кошки, уточки, песик, что создает дополнительное очарование этого места. Мы немного переживали, что у Thomas не было кондиционера, но почитали другие отзывы, что это не проблема. Так и оказалось - в комнатах у Thomas всегда свежо и приятно. Великолепный пляж в 15 минутах ходьбы пешком. Мы считаем, что нам очень повезло, что знакомство с Бали, началось c дома Thomas.

I spent a good and valuable time in this house 🙏🏻 There is everything you need, a large and open space, a separate bedroom. it was clean and no mold. A beautiful family lives next door, you can spend time with them if you want or use the laundry. Very open and good hearts💙The Host was always very helpful and communicative. There was an atmosphere of freedom and an ecological approach around. I recommend this place.

При подъезде нас встретил хозяин дома. Хороший дом на своей территории, есть куда поставить байк. Все зелено-зелено приятно смотреть и дышать. Площадь позволяет комфортно проживать троим. Для приготовления еды есть минимальный набор кастрюль сковородок, кофейник, столовые приборы и др.

La casa di Thomas è meravigliosa e ti permette di sentirti subito a casa. C’è tutto il necessario e in pochi minuti di scooter si è a Nusa Dua. Thomas ci ha aiutato con il rinnovo del visto e in tante altre piccole cose quotidiane. I vicini sono fantastici e fermarsi a chiacchierare con loro e Thomas è sempre stato piacevole e costruttivo. Questa casa ci mancherà moltissimo!

Meine Frau Nadine und ich haben dieses wunderbare Apartment in Sawangan, südlich von Nusa Dua von Mai bis Juli für 2 Monate gebucht und uns dort vom ersten Moment an sehr zuhause gefühlt. Die sehr offen gestaltete Wohnung im 1. Stock des in einem schönen Garten, nur 100 m hinter dem Kempinski Hotel in ruhiger dörflicher Nachbarschaft gelegenen Hauses, hat eine gut ausgestattete Küche und einen abgetrennten Schlafbereich. Der luftige, große Terrassenbereich öffnet den Blick über den Garten; den wunderschönen alten Mangobaum, Bananenstauden, Moringas und Papayabäume Richtung Norden (dort wo auf der Südhalbkugel mittags die Sonne steht!) und nach Osten, von wo aus das Rauschen der Brandung das nahe Meer erahnen lässt. Thomas ist ein wunderbarer, sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der selbst seit vielen Jahren dort lebt, im Erdgeschoss dieses Hauses, dass er selbst geplant und mit der Hilfe von Nachbarn mit eigenen Händen erbaut hat. Unser liebster Strand in der näheren Umgebung war der Geger Beach, zwischen Mulia Hotel und St. Regis gelegen, der einzig verbliebene unbebaute Strandabschnitt Nusa Duas. Leider ist in Nusa Dua und der gesamten Umgebung die Infrastuktur, was schöne Restaurants und Cafés, wie man sie aus Ubud und den Strandorten westlich von Denpasar kennt, sehr mäßig. Da der Tourismus hier geprägt ist von Luxus- und All-Inclusive-Hotels, gibt es anscheinend keinen großen Bedarf dafür. Dies stellt allerdings auch nicht wirklich ein Problem dar, da man in einer halben Stunde mit dem Scooter auf der Westseite der Halbinsel, zwischen Jimbaran und Uluwatu, nicht nur sehr schöne Strände, sondern auch eine schier endlose Auswahl an toller Gastronomie für jeden Geldbeutel, zugeschnitten auf Surfer, Lifestyle-Touristen und Digital Nomads, findet. Wir danken Thomas für die wundervolle Zeit, die wir in seinem Kleinod verbringen durften und freuen uns darauf, irgendwann mal im Pondok Ram nach dem Rechten zu sehen ...

Hi, travelers. Actually, during my 5 month stay on Bali I had a plan to move every month to a new place. At Thomas' place it was so good so I spend there 2 months. I was looking for a place I could get an experience of loneliness. I got it with additional benefits: when I wanted to talk and to practice Indonesian there were nice local neighbors and Thomas. It was a warm family-like feeling with them. A Laundry and a small warung are also there so when I wanted not to go anywhere, I had everything I need. Still nobody was breaking my privacy when I wanted to stay alone. Just note, you'll need either car or bike because the place is 7 minutes from Nusa Dua and about 15 minutes from Ulu.

I wanted a room with terrace, but this room itself is like a terrace! Bedroom can be closed, so you can feel safe at night and you can close your belongings there when you are away. If you cook, there is a stove and kitchenware. No microwave oven. I thought it eill be difficult without air conditioner, but i got acustomed to temperature and to using fans. Thoman is very hospitable and a pleasure to talk to man.

this housing is perfect if you ok to live in nature.

If u love space and an open view this is your place to be. Thomas is an excellent host who makes u feel at home. Close to a warung and a laundry. Beautifull beaches around. A scooter is recommendable.

딸아이 둘과 8박을 했습니다. 2층 전체를 독채로 쓰고요. 자연친화적인 숙소입니다. 집도 예뻐요. 화장실 주방 다 깨끗합니다. 침실도 괜찮아요. 그러나 분명히 말할수 있는 것은 호텔이 아닙니다. 그리고 에어컨 없으니 참고하세요. 모기약 챙겨야 하고요. 오토바이 운전할수 있어야 합니다. 복잡한 발리가 아니라 여유롭게 지내고 싶은 분들에게 추천합니다. 참고로 바로 밑에 빨래방 좋고 그 밑에 가게 마시고랭 정말 맛있어요. How wonderful house it is. I stayed with my two daughters for 8 nights. It is very natural and clean house. I definitely recommend to those who want to stay in natural Bali with balinese neighbors. You should remember that it is not the Hotel as you know. You need a motorbike and mosquito repellent. And no air conditioner. You can rent a motobike the house owner. The owner Thomas is very nice person.

We really enjoyed our week staying with Thomas! We settled on the second floor with a beautiful terrace and an absolutely stunning view for the garden and a duck paradise, with a comfortable bedroom and our own open kitchen. The house is designed with great love and attention to detail, such important and convenient for a person with a european mentality (if you lived in Asia, I think you understand what I mean) - there is a commodious storage room with shelves, many hooks for clothes, sockets are conveniently located, good equipped kitchen with a large set of dishes and even glasses for wine, and many other comfortable little things. Thomas gave us a scooter for rent, for which there is parking, and on which the way to the beach took 5 minutes (although walking is also not far if you do not drive a scooter). Thomas is the interesting person with whom informatively and pleasurably communicate on any topic, and a very caring host who can be contacted with any problem and the problem will be resolved immediately. We also met his Balinese friends, Suri and the boy Agus, hello, you are wonderful! We will remember with love the time spent in Pondok Ram3 and will be happy to return again! Katarina&Alexander

Nice accommodation, near a very beautiful beach, just keep in mind there is not action at all for kilometers.

Très bon accueil, hôte très arrangeant, nous a aider à louer un scooter avec rack pour les surf (possède également un scooter pour 50000R la journée). Très agréable de vivre au milieu du village de famille balinais qui s'est occupé de notre lessive, l'appartement était spacieux avec une grande terrasse, très belle vu, je recommande.

Amazing place just near Nusa Dua! The open terrace is always cool and so comfort. You really get much more than you pay for. Thom made us feel very welcomed. It takes only 3-5 min to drive to the nice nearest beach and some restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here! Highly recommended!

The place is amazing, great location and it was exactly what we needed to get away from our busy city life: freedom, nature and a truly authentic balinese experience. The house is also complete, we loved the open space concept and the smart design. Definitely highly recommended !

I wanted to live in the place where i m nearby to the citizens and this is absolutely come true! I spent nice time with neighbourhood balinese family and Thomas! We spoke some evenings about the worlds things with Thomas , he is very kind and helpful host! I loved the time what i spent there! The appartement is amazing, u can do many things in a wide terrace, the garden is very nice, u can meet with a duck in a fountain and the houses’ dog and cats! :) They are cute :D If you want to go a place where u are in peace but u can get the beach by walk ( 10-15 min) and u can get Uluwatuh, Karang Boma Cliff, Jimbaran by motorcycle or taxi ( i suggest motorcycle because its much more fun, u see on Bali deeper and u can rent motorbike from Thomas ;) ) this is ur place! Im very grateful for Thomas because of the managing my first trip on Bali and gave me advices to the next trip :) If u want to say thank u for him about his service he likes wine ;) ( for example from Europe but its too expensive in Bali like every alcohol expect natives) ! So thanks thats wonderful experience from Bali :) i will go back! :)

Très bonne communication, Thomas est très accueillant et prend soin de ses invités. La maison est originale et très agréable à vivre, réveil en douceur avec le chant d'une multitude d'oiseaux... l'emplacement est à 5mn de moto de très belles plages.

Everything was perfect. We were very pleased. Apart from the accommodation they built the main road and at night there is a bit of a rush to hear. We missed air conditioning. Thomas is very kind and will advise in everything.

Thomas and Suri are very helpful with anything you need. The garden looks great and they take much care. It is very spacious and private and has everything you need to have a great holiday. I want to live there forever 😊

Lieber Thomas, es waren 3 wunderbar entspannte Tage bei Dir, einerseits die berühmte Schweizer Gastfreundschaft, andererseits die Unterkunft selbst, sehr sauber und vollständig ausgestattet, ich habe traumhaft im 1,60m Bett geschlafen, die Matratze hat sicher Hotelqualität. Besonders hat mich die Mosaiktreppe fasziniert, die zum schön angelegten Garten führt. Der offene Wohnraum wird vom warmen Ostmonsun durchweht. Die Kochgelegenheit ist einfach, doch komplett ausgerüstet. Die Restaurants im 4km entfernten Nusa Dua kochen gut und günstig. Eine volle Mahlzeit zwischen vier und acht Euro, und wenn man im Einheimischen Laden ißt, dann reicht ein Euro allemal. Die Wärme der Dusche wird von der Sonne geliefert. Das Wasser stammt von der hauseigenen Bohrung und ist einwandfrei. Positiv überrascht war ich vom ausgezeichneten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, das für Bali woanders so nicht zu finden ist. Alles in Allem ein gelungener Kurzurlaub, ich werde wieder kommen. Viele Grüße, Peter

Ihr sucht für günstig Geld eine Unterkunft in Nusa Dua? Dann seid ihr hier genau richtig. Thomas ist ein super netter Typ, der mich direkt herzlich aufgenommen hat und sich extra den Abend für mich Zeit genommen hat, um mir alles zu zeigen. Zudem ist er sehr hilfsbereit und man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben. Die obere offene Wohnung ist extrem schön geschnitten und man hat von der Terrasse aus einen schönen Blick (inklusive Sonnenaufgang). Das Schlafzimmer war, wie alles andere auch, sehr sauber und ich habe im king size bett sehr gut geschlafen. Ich hatte eine sehr schöne Zeit und habe auf jeden Fall vor wiederzukommen. Preis/Leistung 10/10
