Exploring Paradise by the Sea ~ Overlooking Balian Beach left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Paradise by the Sea ~ Overlooking Balian Beach was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kabupaten Tabanan plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Paradise by the Sea ~ Overlooking Balian Beach painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
The guy who will provide you all services that you need like food / driving will tell you at the end that you need to pay a big amount ( super overcharged for bali ). Also super dirty with insect everywhere inside the room. Not clean
Sehr schönes Haus mit schönem Blick und ganz tollem Service von Wayan. Wir wurden lecker bekocht. Es ist schon etwas älter aber hat seinen Charme Der traumhafte Strand ist 5 Gehminuten entfernt und wir sind mehrmals über den Strand ca. 15 Minuten zum Mittagessen/Abendessen nach Balian Beach gelaufen. Im Meer konnten wir aufgrund der Wellen/Strömung nicht baden. Aber das war uns bewusst, da dies ja im Süden meistens der Fall ist.

We spent 7 nights here as a family of two adults and our toddler, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Wayan is such a wonderful person — incredibly kind, thoughtful and always happy to help. His breakfasts were incredible and a highlight of each morning. The entire villa team were wonderful and made us feel so welcome. The villa is somewhere you can truly switch off. The gardens are beautiful, with an incredible array of plants and greenery, expertly maintained each day by two of the nicest guys. We used the master bedroom and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom lovely. Our favourite spot was the pavilion overlooking the pool and beach. Sitting there with a coffee, watching our little girl enjoy the fish with the ocean behind her, was pretty hard to beat. There’s a wonderful sense of peace and serenity here — the kind of place where you genuinely slow down. Hope to return!
Everything fine - if you want to stay somewhere a bit remote with a non crowded beautiful beach with some infrastructure in the village then this is the place to be.
Die Villa ist ein echter Traum, direkt auf einer Anhöhe am Balian Beach gelegen. Liebevoll, traditionell, pflanzenreich, luxuriös eingerichtet - es fehlte an nichts. Wayan, die gute Seele des Hauses, war zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit für uns da, hat all unsere Wünsche und Tour-Ideen ermöglicht. Die Villa ist trotz Nachbarvillen, sehr ruhig gelegen, Restaurants & Bars sind fußläufig problemlos über den Strand zu erreichen. Für Surfer eine top Adresse. Ein absolutes tropisches Paradis!
The other public reviews say it all really - great communication from Diana and Wayan and his family are amazing, warm hosts that make your trip easy. The beach below the villa is a short walk away and the other end of the beach is a great location for beginner surf lessons. Great spot for a very relaxed family holiday
Beautiful villa - a very peaceful haven. Listening to the ocean and watching the beautiful sunsets, or swimming in the pool with the colourful butterflies floating by - it’s incredibly relaxing. The layout and ambience of the villa is fantastic - we really loved the extra touch of fresh flowers everywhere - it really feels like a (luxurious!) home. Wayan and the staff are just lovely.
Wonderful and unforgettable! Diana’s villa is a personal home with history and atmosphere, yet Wayan and his family offer the service and comforts of a far more commercial villa. They were the most amazing hosts for our group including two young children, taking us to a remote and stunning waterfall, cooking, cleaning, transport, everything bespoke and with a smile. The location and scenery is even better than the photos, the sunsets on the private beach were magical … you absolutely won’t regret staying here.
Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und die Angstellten super freundlich. Unserer Fahrer/Koch Wayan und sein Neffe Andre waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns praktisch zu jeder Uhrzeit abgeholt oder gefahren. Auch die Massagen für umgerechnet 10€ sind sehr gut. Wichtig anzumerken ist, dass die Transporte und Mahlzeiten (inkl. Softdrinks, Bier, Wein & Früchte) am Schluss abgerechnet werden
We had a wonderful time. Wayan was so helpful and the breakfast was amazing. We really enjoyed the waterfall tour and felt right at home. A beautiful setting overlooking the beach.
The most relaxing holiday I’ve ever had! Diana has such a beautiful piece of paradise you will not regret booking this Airbnb. Wayan & his team went above & beyond for myself, husband & two adult children. Any questions all you had to do was ask - nothing was ever a problem. We felt like celebrities staying at this Villa. The daily cooked breakfasts were the icing on the cake. Wayan also cooked dinner and lunch on my request when we didn’t feel like venturing out. He organised massages at the villa for myself and my family - this was definitely a highlight! The in-house laundry service was also a nice surprise. We made sure to tip & pay Wayan daily for his services so he could purchase fresh ingredients from the local fresh food markets. All ingredients hand picked then cooked at the villa - we lived like Kings & Queens that’s for sure! The BEST Airbnb experience for me and my family and especially it being our first time to Bali. Perfect way to begin our holiday and actually relax!
We had a wonderful stay at Diana’s house. Beautiful spot and well decorated. Our arrival had some hinderance due to an accident that kept us from reaching the property the first night. Diana and Wayan, also a great host, found a solution and really cared about our well-being. Not a direct acces to the beach but from the garden you can watch the surfers riding the waves. A few minutes drive and you end up at an ydillic ‘surftown’ at Balian Beach with restaurants and shops. We had a blast.
Great place to stay to relax and recharge. It is quiet and peaceful. Wayan is a wonderful human with a great heart. He and his staff took good care of us and were responsive.
Paradise by the Sea is truly as the name suggests. This was a return visit for my family and we feel so privileged to have been able to once again enjoy this beautiful villa. It is peaceful and an amazing place to rest and relax. Balian is a sleepy beachside village, remote and unspoilt. A true highlight is the wonderful hospitality provided by Wayan and all the villa staff. Wayan and his wife Wayan are truly talented in the kitchen and their Balinese cuisine is authentic and delicious. We are already planning our next visit. This was a stunning experience! Photos don’t do it justice, the property was simple stunning! I think this is the best private AirBnB stay I’ve ever had. It was the perfect quiet Bali experience, and Wayan was there every day to help us out with food, drinks, activities, learnings and keeping the house operating. Highly suggest surfing down in the Balian beach village with a quick guide from Rony Surf, having a cooking lesson from Wayan, doing an offering class and getting a massage. Do try to keep a good amount of cash on hand as some places in the village don’t take card

We had a magnificent time in Diana’s house: the view is just stunning and Wayan, the local staff arranged everything we needed including motorcycles for a day and a day tour to Ubud. The house is in a quiet surrounding, transport is required to go to restaurants or get something from the nearby supermarket. Diana at first and Wayan on the spot were always quick in responding whenever we had a question. Thanks a lot for all your support!
Diana's villa truly was paradise by the sea! It was a breathtaking peaceful location. The villa was beautiful and better than the photos. What made the stay even more special was Wayan, who took care of the home and was always available to take us places and cook for us. We felt really at home and taken care of. This is a truly special airbnb to stay at.
Que dire de cette première semaine passée à BALI ? Que tout était parfait !! Nous avons rejoins la Villa par nos propres moyens (c’était un choix) mais Wayan aurait pu aussi nous récupérer à l’aéroport si nous l’avions voulu. En arrivant, ce fut un réel enchantement !! La Villa dans le plus pur style balinais est tout simplement incroyable !! Les photos de l’annonce sont bien en dessous de la réalité et de se que l’on découvre. Nos enfants (19 et 16) ont vite trouvé leurs marques dans leur immense chambre chacun (des vraies Master !) avec des salles de bains également immenses. Le patio ouvert sur la mer et la piscine est un véritable enchantement. Et un grand MERCI à Wayan, l’intendant de la maison, toujours aux petits soins pour nous et qui a su aussi nous faire découvrir des endroits magiques loin des touristes habituels . J’ai adoré aussi le service de linge proposé : quel bonheur de retrouver son linge lavé et repassé au retour des visites . Vraiment une superbe semaine , merci

nach unserer rundreise in java war das „paradies“ perfekt zum entspannen und die natur zu geniessen. Wajan war der perfekte gastgeber und ist ein ausgezeichneter koch. die anlage ist im balinesischen styl und sehr sauber.
The house is beautiful, the sunsets incredible and Wayan, the house manager, is extremely helpful, reliable and friendly. Communication before, during and even after our stay was great. The property is well maintained and there is daily cleaning of the house and yard. Wayan can cook for you and do shopping if needed. We enjoyed the cooking demonstration that he and his wife did for us. They went all out to make us a delicious "suckling pig" dish and we enjoyed several other local dishes. Wayan is a very good driver and can take you to see / do many things. If you didn't pack your own books, there are plenty to choose from! There is a lovely little restaurant, Casa, 10 minutes from the house at Balian Beach (popular for surfing) and we went there often. They have great coffee, pizza and tasty local dishes. Note that most tourist activities / shops (we liked Pepito Market) are at least one hour's drive away from the house.
This was truly the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever had! The villa is beautiful, with stunning views of the beach and ocean. Our kids absolutely loved the pool. Wayan and his family/team were incredibly warm and welcoming. They made this week truly special for our family. Thank you so much!
Paradise by the Sea has an authentic, soulful and homely feel with perfect attention to detail, the artifacts the immaculate garden and beautiful pool. Our host Wayan was just so lovely and helpful, nothing was too much for him and his breakfasts were great! His wife Wayan cooked dinner for us and it was so delicious. The remaining staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a beautiful stay in your property in Balian.
Vanaf het moment dat Wayan (manager van Diana's villa) ons ophaalde van het vliegveld, kwamen we terecht in een andere wereld. Nooit zijn wij zo in de watten gelegd als tijdens ons verblijf hier! Wayan en zijn team zorgen er 24/7 voor dat het je aan niks ontbreekt: van een heerlijk ontbijt (Indonesisch of Westers? Kies maar!) tot aan een huisgemaakt 3-gangendiner (lunch en diner moet je wel apart bijboeken). Tegelijkertijd geeft het personeel je alle privacy die je nodig hebt. Je kunt via Wayan ook wellness-behandelingen-aan-huis boeken. Zo hebben wij tot twee keer toe 2 masseuses laten langskomen. Zo luxe! Net zo luxe als de villa zelf: wij voelden ons net een koning en koningin, haha! Wij (gezin met 2 dochters van 10 jaar oud) kunnen maar één 'minpuntje' bedenken en dat is dat de foto's op deze site deze villa geen recht doen. Deze plek is in real life veel groter en adembenemender. We willen Diana dan ook heel erg bedanken voor de gastvrijheid. Onze vakantie was onvergetelijk!
I don’t even have words to describe how perfect this place was for us to come and relax from our stressful lives. The views, the rooms, the staff were all as described. The best part was not having to make decisions as Wayan took care of everything. We let him cook our meals to experience true Bali culture. Yum! The massages and facials on site are a must. Daily! And let them take you north to the waterfalls. It is not a tourist area so very special with a local beer to cool down after the hiking. The beach here with the black sand and sparkly mica is nice to enjoy the sounds of the waves and enjoy daily walks. Thank you so much Diana for letting us utilize your beautiful space. We were blessed beyond words at all of the calming details you put into the design. All of the Balinese people are so friendly and have hearts of service. Our flight was late and they we’re so flexible to change pick up from Airport. DO NOT Attempt to drive here. Trust them. It is inexpensive
We had an excellent stay at Diana's home in Bali. we were torn between a resort in Nusa Dua area or this. we are SO happy we decided to stay at Diana's home. The home was exactly as shown in the pictures, honestly more beautiful, pictures don't do it justice). Everything was just as the listing described! What REALLY sets this house apart and made our stay unforgettable was Wayan, the house manager. He along with the other staff (cleaner, gardener) were so helpful and friendly! We had the chance to also meet some of Wayan's family during our stay and they are such amazing people. Wayan is always there for suggestions or recommendations, but we still always had privacy. This was an excellent vacation for our family and if you are considering this, I would recommend you do it!!!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Villa Paradise by the Sea! Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft und bietet eine perfekte Mischung aus Ruhe und natürlicher Schönheit. Ein besonderes Highlight war Wayan und seine Frau, der nicht nur ein hervorragender Koch ist, sondern auch ein grossartiger Gastgeber. Seine leckeren Mahlzeiten haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem kulinarischen Erlebnis gemacht. Wayan hat sich sehr um unser Wohl gekümmert und uns auch mir wertvollen Tipps betreffend Ausflügen versorgt. Die Villa selbst ist wunderschön eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt und konnten uns perfekt entspannen. Die Umgebung ist herrlich und lädt zu Spaziergängen am Strand ein. Wir können die Villa Paradise by the Sea nur wärmstens empfehlen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!
We had an amazing time at Paradise by the Sea. The house manager Wayan and his staff were always available and very attentove to everything we needed. Nothing was too micu trouble including organising local trips, transport, and making recommendations. The photos do not reflect how beautiful the accomodation is. A beautiful garden area with an immaculate pool overlooking Balian beach. The rooms were large and spread out so we were able to travel with some other couples vut felt we still had our own privacy. Would recommend this place.

This is the most beautiful villa we’ve ever stayed in - it offers everything a hotel has but with the privacy of a villa. We had the yummiest, cooked breakfasts included in our stay and we also chose to book meals most evenings. Wayan and his wife are amazing chefs! Also included, was all our washing and ironing - carried out on a daily basis. Not having to cook, clean or do washing meant we could truly relax. Whilst we enjoyed our breakfast, the wonderful team cleaned and made up our rooms and arranged fresh flowers and the gardeners cleared and tidied the pool area. We felt truly spoilt and rather indulged. We enjoyed playing and boogie boarding in the huge, surfing waves, on an empty Balian beach, as well as swimming in the beautiful pool, daily, and we also enjoyed some massages. The only day out we did was quad biking and whitewater rafting which we arranged separately. To call this magical place Paradise is not an overstatement because it truly is just that!
Just wow. If you are thinking of booking this place then do not hesitate. It is stunning. The villa is perfectly positioned on the beach and the pool and rooms are just exquisite. The photos do not do it justice. Diana had excellent communication. But the thing that really stands out above all else is Wayan and the excellent staff. They really went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home and made it a holiday to remember, cooking us some delicious meals and showing us some amazing and unique experiences. We will be back!

This is hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had! The pictures don’t it justice! Paradise by the Sea is beautiful, pristine, and peaceful. It’s a short walk to the Balian surf breaks, which our sons loved. Diane’s communication was excellent and her advice was spot on. Wayan (and everyone at the villa for that matter) was the absolute best - from breakfast, to transportation, to helping rent boards - it was an amazing experience all around and one that our family will always remember! I highly recommend - we already can’t wait to go back!
We had a great stay with our family at the villa. It is a great place to stay directly at the beach and a nice pool. Wayan the house manager and his wife cooked for us in the evening and we enjoyed their amazing food. Would definitely come back here again.
Das war die schönste Unterkunft, die wir jemals besucht haben. Das Haus in Verbindung mit der umliegenden Natur und dem Meer direkt vor der Nase wirkt einfach nur magisch. Der Strand ist eine Attraktion für sich, da wir fast immer komplett alleine dort sein konnten die Weite atemberaubend ist. Das Haus bietet komplette Privatsphäre, auch wenn jeden Tag Personal vor Ort ist, welches immer diskret war. Das absolut beste an diesem Haus war allerdings Wayan, der 24/7 für uns verfügbar war. Selbst in Notfällen war er stets sofort da um zu helfen. Ich musste paar mal zum Doktor und Wayan ist mit mir jedes Mal hingefahren und hat bei der Übersetzung etc geholfen. Wayan und seine Frau haben oft für uns gekocht und es hat immer fabelhaft geschmeckt. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft in jedem Fall weiter, da es tatsächlich ein Paradies ist.
Paradise by the sea was perfect for our girls getaway. Wayan and the staff were top tier and made sure we were able to do all of the activities we wanted during our stay, and were able to answer any questions we had. The home has open air concept (doors can be kept closed) so some small bugs and geckos were present, but did not cause any issues. Diana responded quickly to all messages and was able to answer any questions quickly. The home is a bit of a drive from the high touristy attractions but 10/10 would recommend! We will definitely be back.
We had a fantastic time, truely ‘paradise by the sea’. We had plenty of space with 3 bedrooms and a large pool and loved all the small details like flowers in each room, breakfast and dinner at the villa. Nothing was too much trouble for Wayan to organise. Great for a few days on the beach with friends an/or family. Note that Balian is very quaint and the next tourist centre is probably 2h away. So you will spend most of your time in and around the villa.
The description Paradise by the sea is fully right. It is like a paradise. We enjoyed everything there. The pool, the view, the surrounding, the ocean, the great services Wayan was offering. It was outstanding. We had a great and fabulous time and we definitely will come back.

Wayan and the staff looked after us so well, him and his wife do make the best food!! What a great start to our holiday in Bali, we will definitely come back. For two couples it was a fabulous place to stay, ensuring privacy but plenty of areas to mingle. It is also very peaceful and quiet. Short walk to the beach and an easy walk to Balian if the tide was ok, which is most of the time. Wayan our residence manager and driver was great and always ready to respond to our requests. The only two downsides are that the beach can have some fairly strong rips at times and the traffic can be horrendous if you want to travel back to Seminyak or Kuta. Overall a lovely place to stay for a relaxing holiday.
Très belle villa située située à l'écart des lieux touristiques. Endroit impeccable pour se reposer, la mer se trouve à 4 minutes à pied. Belle piscine et beau jardin. Waynan gérant de cet endroit est une personne calme et très disponible toujours soucieux de rendre service. Avec son épouse il prépare de bons repas. Seul bémol : la circulation, en effet pour se déplacer il faut soit un véhicule soit un scooter et au vu du du trafic sur place le moindre déplacement sur l île représente au minimum 2h00. Mais la beauté de bali en vaut la peine. Nous nous souviendrons longtemps de notre voyage.

We had a lovely week long stay at Paradise by the Sea. The villa and views are stunningly beautiful. The large pool was gorgeous. Wayan and the staff are kind, attentive and work hard to ensure the guests have a wonderful stay. Breakfasts were hearty and delicious. It exceeded our expectations. Thank you Wayan for making our first week in Bali so memorable.
Wer Ruhe abseits des Trubels sucht ist hier richtig. Für alle Angelegenheiten wie ; Transfers, Ausflüge, Einkaufstouren steht der Hausverwalter Wayan immer zur Verfügung. Sehr nettes Personal.

We had a wonderful stay at Diana’s. It was perfect for our laid back plans while we are in parental leave. Wayan is an excellent house manager and was so kind (he was especially fond of our 5 month old). It was amazing to be able to sit back and relax; breakfast , laundry, housekeeping all taken care of daily. The place is beautiful , especially the gardens; I will miss the wonderful scent of frangapanis. Make sure you get Made for in house massages; she is amazing and so worth it! The place is more remote so for sure not ideal if you plan on doing a lot of exploring (most things take at least 1.5-3 hours to get to); we managed to take some away trips in Ubud and Kuta while making this place our base during our month long stay. If traveling with young kids ; make sure they are excellent swimmers already and/or not yet mobile. It would be hazardous a bit otherwise for a wandering toddler due the unfenced pool and areas. We are thankful to have been able to enjoy this lovely place
Absolutely stunning property and views. Waking up to the serene views of nature was a complete soul therapy. Wayan was so hospitable and very helpful. We were traveling with two small kids so found the place slightly far from all the action nevertheless we had a wholesome and unforgettable time at Diana’s lovely place.

We spent a week at Paradise - beautiful villa and gardens, amazing view, the staff were fantastic. Wayan was super helpful, friendly, and a good cook; Iluh is so diligent in her cleaning, she washed and ironed for us; the gardeners were friendly and always had a smile on their face. I loved the large pool and it really persuaded us to just jump in. The villa is in a traditional style, with Balinese roofs, nice art, and bedrooms (we couldn't decide where to sleep, they were both so nice). The area is safe, quiet & away from the crowds. Balian Beach is nearby, it's known to be one of the best surfing beaches in Bali. We found a good restaurant at Balian Beach to eat and watch the sunset. I had brought my bicycle and cycled into the hills (mountains) and along the coast - the villa was a good base for that. We also had use of a scooter which got us around for dinner and some sightseeing. We would love to come back sometime. Thanks everyone & Diana!
Diana’s villa was fabulous So peaceful and relaxing An easy 5 minute walk to a beautiful black sand beach where we swam and boogie boarded everyday. Wayan made a delicious breakfast each morning and helped us with anything we needed . I would definitely recommend this villa if you want to get away from the grounds in Bali . I must mention there was always ice for our drinks late in the afternoon ready to watch the amazing sunset . We will be back
Great place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone going to Bali! Super close to everything / walkable to Main Street of Seminyak and there is a great little restaurant across the road from the villa!
Stunning villa with ample private and public spaces. Close to a beautiful black sand beach. Secluded, quiet except for the songs of nature and far away from the bustling part of Bali. A great escape from the usual Bali hubbub. Traffic can get backed up so good to plan travel ahead of time, but the driver is excellent and a responsive cook. Spend 3 nights here over Christmas with my 3 sons. Will definitely be back at some point.
The place is amazing, we picked it because we wanted a quiet place to relax and enjoy the house and the beach, you should just not book the place if you want to visit Bali with a car during December period the traffic is simply to heavy for this ;-) Our local host was just wonderful and the food he and his wife cooked for us in demand was really excellent, he was also an excellent driver and local guide for the short trip we did to the rice field and few temples.
Although its abit far from the city and airport, the villa is very comfortable and serene. Love it. Will come back again
In short nature tranquility, we enjoyed our stay in the villa as the surrounding nature and views are quite amazing. Trully rejuvenating ourselves when staying in this villa. Bli Wayan and team provided the lovely breakfast and keeping up the place in meticulous way making clean and refresh all the time. Really appreciate their special effort during our stay. The villa is absolutely gorgeous. The decoration, the view, the peaceful vibe... 5 stars all the way. The fact that is a bit remote was actually perfect for us. We basically chilled, went for surfs to Balian or Medewi, did some yoga and short trips. On top of that the local team - Wayan and the rest have been the most accommodating and helpful as ever. Absolute game changers - Really they are gems that make a great difference. We highly recommend it and we will be back if we can!

This place is exactly what a villa in Bali should look and feel like. The view was outstanding and the property is just gorgeous. Lots of areas to spend time together outdoors but also the ability to close doors, have aircon and keep the bugs out when you’re ready for it. We had a fantastic stay. Thanks for everything, Wayan!

Truly “Paradise in the sea” The villa is situated in perfect location in Tabanan. The house is always sparkling clean. A lot of thought put into its design, its very rich and complex yet in fusion with nature. I don’t think anything around that area can match what this place had to offer. It consist of 3 separate rooms each has balcony, view, bathroom and toliet 6 people can fit quite comfortably. You have an amazing fresh breakfast cooked and served every morning with freshly grinded Balanise coffee. Wayan the main contact person is a local and knows the area and can provide you with tips, and ensure your travels runs a smoothly as possible. He is an amazing character! Amazing cafes and restaurant that serve amazing food made by locals. You can experience night street market just 15 min away! This place is a GEM of Bali! I will be back twice a year!
What a magical setting, a short walk to the beach, and a beautiful villa. Everything was very comfortable and it was a wonderful stay. Our only concern was that it wasn’t as friendly for our little children due to steps and drops.

Paradise by the Sea is an exceptional villa. The location is great if you want to chill. It is a short walk to the beach where the sand is black and the sea is fierce. The decor in the villa is beautiful, the communal areas are lovely, the bedrooms and bathrooms are large. If you book Paradise by the Sea you will not be disappointed. We have no negative comments to make about this villa - it is perfection.
Beautiful villa, pictures on listing don’t do it justice. Every need was cared for. Wayan is an amazing tour guide and will make your stay so much more pleasant. Only thing to keep in mind is it’s two hours away from main tourist centers.
We have spent a wonderful stay in « Paradise by the sea ». The house is perfect and amazing, description is conform with reality = big, clean and beautiful ! With a little baby, our aim was to stay in peace in a non touristic place = well done! Wayan and the staff was nice, respectful and ready to help and offer different possibilities to discover the true Bali. Even with the baby we did a lot. We have eaten Wayan’s wife cooking and we recommend it ! Wayan was incredible, even with our little baby Many thanks for these unforgettable holidays.
What a wonderful stay! We are 3 friends, who were staying for two weeks. The place is much bigger than expected. Everyone had their own suite. Besides the view, the pool and the wonderful decorated and designed house we really appreciated how Wayan and all of the other employees went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. We didn't have to think or take care of anything. Everything got handled for us, so that we could fully concentrate on relaxing or working. Plus all the meals were super tasty. The internet speed was pretty good, especially in the common area (15-20 Mbps). Some of the rooms have a proper desk. Keep in mind that the place is a bit outside of the usual hotspots (e.g. 1.5 hrs to Depensar) and that there is not that much around to visit or do, but relax. The beach is just a 1 minute walk away.
We had a great stay at Paradise by the Sea! The location is beautiful and a great place to relax. We went in April and the weather was quite hot, so would recommend going in cooler weather. Wayan the caretaker and his wife were amazing and cooked up delicious meals for us including some fantastic Mexican food. They also took very good care of us and the villa has all kinds of facilities available on call such as in house massages and laundry services. note that given the natural location you will find mosquitoes here so it's best to carry a repellent. the swimming pool is great and quite well maintained. all in all, a great property to stay

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Urlaub in fantastischer Kulisse mit einem fantastischen Wayan (er kümmert sich außergewöhnlich gut um einfach alles). Wir haben die Bilder gesehen, waren aber von dem Live Eindruck noch mehr begeistert. Die Aussicht vom Pool direkt aufs Meer ist atemberaubend einmalig. Der Pool ist riesig aber auch relativ tief (Frau mit 1.60 kann quasi kaum stehen) aber mit einer Luftmatratze, die wir zum Glück dabei hatten, ist das kein Problem. Das Essen, welches Wayan und seine Frau, jeden Abend für uns gezaubert haben, war so liebevoll und lecker zubereitet, wir wollten am liebsten garnicht mehr woanders essen. Abschließend lässt sich sagen das es sich lohnt unbedingt wieder zu kommen, denn die Zeit hätte ruhig länger sein können.
If you are looking for relaxation, peace, a beautiful beach and stunning accomodation then you have found it! Paradise by the Sea is pretty apt. The villa is on a rise above the beach with a short 5 min walk but the views are gorgeous and the waves are big enough that you hear them clearly in the villa. Be aware that the three bedrooms are quite seperate and require you to walk outside to get to each other. I was a little concerned about this at first as I had two children under ten sleeping in one of the bedrooms but it turned out fine and the kids enjoyed their beautiful room. We indulged in the in-house massages which we can highly recommend. It was great to be able to get a massage there while the kids were still playing and swimming and we didn't need to interrupt them and drag them out. The beach is pretty clean and the waves are just right for some safe fun in the surf. I even caught a wave or two bringing back my childhood holidays of body surfing! If you turn left at the beach there are some great rock pools with plenty of crabs and other creatures for kids to explore and chase. Be warned there is not much around the area in terms of tourist attractions and going anywhere in the crazy Balinese traffic is slow. We were quite happy to play and relax in the villa and the beach and only went out once to the temple at Tanah Lot. Paradise Villa in Tabanan is a beautiful beach front property. The beach was only a 5 minute walk from the villa and it was incredibly private too! The villa is made up of 3 bedrooms, which are linked by stone pathways to central courtyard/swimming pool. Each morning, the staff would come and pick up the flowers that have fallen onto the pathways or into swimming pool. All 3 villas were kept clean and no attention to detail was left untouched. It was no different than staying at the Four Seasons. The true gem of Paradise Villa is Wayan. He was very professional, warm and gracious. All requests were met with a smile and eagerness to please. He would prepare a beautiful breakfast for us every morning and transport us around the town when needed. He left an everlasting impression on all of us and will always remember his hospitality. Paradise Villa receives a 5 star rating from me!

Robins Villa was amazing. The view, the rooms, the pool. If your wanting to escape and be away from everything this is the place to be. The property manager is amazing with cooking breakfast and helping out where needed. His wife cooks traditional home made food in villa which was the best food we ate on our holiday. Balian Beach is a short drive away which Wayan the property manager is available all day for when you want to go somewhere. The town is good for eating out and surfing. The gardener even collected some coconuts for us to drink. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway
From the first moment in the villa we had the feeling of having arrived in paradise. Wayan and his team were very familiar and warm-hearted. The highlights were the evenings when Wayan and his wife cooked for us in the villa. As vegans we got to know and appreciate the Balinese cuisine. Thank you so. much for the wonderful time.
Another great stay at Paradise By The Sea! Everything as described and the most spectacular view over Balian Beach. As ever Wayan (manager/driver) and Ee-lu (housekeeper) where excellent. Wayan’s wife also make a wicked vegan curry.
Paradise by the Sea is the ultimate balinese villa in a secluded and very private setting minutes to Balian beach village. This villa has spectacular views and outstanding accommodation of a very high standard. The beaches here are unspoilt and the village contains some great little eateries. The availability of meals at the villa and in house massage will mean that you may just not want to ever leave, you will certainly find relaxation and peace in this tropical hideaway.

This is easily the most beautiful home I’ve ever Airbnb’d. It is quite a drive to get to as it is further away from the busier areas of Bali, but so worth it. We stayed at 3 homes in Bali, Robins being our first stop and it was the perfect place to relax after our very long flight (27 hours). We laid by the pool, played in the sand, (the beach is 2 minutes away and is the largest beach we encountered in Bali) and just enjoyed the views. Wayan and his wife make excellent food, the fried bananas were amazing. We were also able to arrange one half day and one full day excursion to see some sites with only a little notice. In fact one day we wanted to venture out a bit further and Wayan wasn’t able to take us as he needed to pick our friend up from the airport but was able to arrange us a guide within an hour. Absolutely loved every minute we spent here.
This place is amazing! We loved our stay, there is so much space, beds are comfy, the decor is beautiful and that view, omg that view. Wyan made yummy meals, and was super helpful. We also walked down the beach to a couple restaurants that were really good. I found a yoga place on my last day as well.
When you book your stay at Robin’s villa, you are getting much more than a place to stay, but an entire experience! Beautiful views surround you, and Balian Beach is a short walk away. Wayan and the rest of the staff are exceptional. He makes you feel right at home, and can take you to really experience the true culture of Bali. We had dinner prepared at the villa several times, and it was delicious! Our only regret is not booking it for longer.
The host took this booking on short notice after the previous booking did not work out. She was an amazing communicator and helped anticipate land mines ahead of time being that we were arriving around the time of Melasti and Ogoh-Ogoh which we would otherwise not have known about. The property is far more gorgeous that the pictures display. In fact I would recommend the host updates the photos with higher resolution ones so that you can get a better idea. The entrance way, pond and general seating area before the pool that leads into an open area kitchen and living room is stunning. The pool and cabana before the ocean has beautiful views and it is all surrounding by a lovely garden. No complaints, my only recommendation would be to have a nicer bathing area (large open tub) in any future renovations. The on-suite bathroom is more than sufficient of course and is equipped with a regular tub and open shower. Also be aware that there are some bugs, nothing out of the ordinary (mosquitos and ants); bed is a canopy with surrounding mesh so no issues there :) Wayan was great, we arrived very late and he stayed to accommodate us and make sure we were fed. He also welcomed us into his own home on the day of Ogoh-Ogoh and we got to participate in what was truly a unique experience. The following day was silent day. A religious day and the only day on the island where everything shuts down including the airport. Despite that you are not allowed to leave the property, use power or lights on this day, once again Wayan made sure we were comfortable and had meals pre-cooked for us. Perhaps not for everyone, but we enjoyed a day of meditation and solitude very much. Overall, I give our stay 5/5, I was very happy with my stay and would stay again. Thank you very much Robin for all your help!
This is really a gem of a home. Comfortable and elegant. Location for a retreat could not be better. Wayan is a true champion and easily feels like family with his gentle and humble nature. He looks after you and makes sure you have the best experience. A truly phenomenal trip.
If you want to relax then this is the spot. The pool is great for swimming, the beach is a short walk and the staff really do well to help you out. The local restaurants are great too!! Balian beach is just about a mile from this Villa if you want to go out. I totally recommend and hopefully end up back there again!!!
A true Paradise by the sea. The moment my family arrived, everyone was immediately impressed by the beauty of the villa in its surrounding. The sound of waves hitting on beach, with a beautiful deep blue pool surrounded by well maintained flowers, trees and grasses. The hospitality provided by the manager is one of the best, friendliest experience I had. To make this even better, he prepared delicious breakfast every morning. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway from the crowded noisy city life, this place is perfect. If you are surfer, the immediate access to the beach with good waves for surfing make this perfect choice for your surfing vacation.
Robins place is absolutely stunning! We stayed with my family for the end of our bali visit to relax and unwind and it did not disappoint. Wayan looked after us during our stay, he was amazing at helping out in anyway he could and making our trip to our wishes. Eine außergewöhnliche, etwas abgelegene Villa, direkt oberhalb des Balian Beach. Zum Strand sind es nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß, der durch seinen schwarzen Sand und Surferwellen auffällt. Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa war super, wofür in erster Linie Wayan Sorge getragen hat. Er hat uns pünktlichst von der vorherigen Unterkunft abgeholt, Tagesausflüge mit uns gemacht und jeden Morgen leckeres Frühstück gemacht sowie am letzten Abend auch noch tolles Abendessen inkl. Thunfisch auf indonesische Art. Ein rundum perfekter Service. Als Info noch: die Villa ist genau wie auf den Bildern, toll ausgestattet, im Hauptgebäudetrakt 2 separate Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem Bad en suite. Es gibt auch eine Außendusche für den Pool und der Pool ist wirklich toll. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt von nettem und sehr unaufdringlichem Personal. Wer einen Ruhepol und Standort für Erkundungstouren für 4 (bis 6) Leute sucht, ist hier richtig aufgehoben.
At Robins place you feel like a movie star staying in a secluded luxury house. The views are incredible and location does not get any better if you are after a very relaxing holiday. We chose Balian because our children surf and Balian delivered. The villa is beautiful spacious and very clean. Wayan and his staff were so helpful and kind. We didn’t realise that there are no mini marts or shops in Balian so make sure that you stock up on your snacks and any food items you require or I’m sure Wayan could arrange to have them there for you if arranged prior. We will be back for sure
Paradise by the sea truly lives up to its name . What an absolute beautiful amazing hidden gem . Wayan and staff were truly amazing . The sunset is something I have never seen before , the gardens are immaculate , the home comfortable clean and open plan and with that all you want to do is relax and enjoy . The beach is beautiful and the local eateries have some of the best food I’ve eaten in Bali. Nothing is to much of a bother for wayan and he is wonderful to have around . The meals at the villa were great , best green curry I’ve ever had , followed by the most amazing banana fritters ever !!! We took 2 small children and they were fussed over and given so much bali culture to experience . If anyone is looking for a relaxing peaceful cultural filled holiday then paradise by the sea is your villa. You will not regret your decision to get out of the busy tourist areas . Thanks again to wayan and team for a wonderful holiday. We will most certainly be back . 🇮🇩❤️🌏
My girlfriend and I wanted to finish of our last 4 days in Bali on Balian Beach with the utmost relaxation in a Paradise beach setting and Robins Villa absolutely blew us away. First of all, the pictures don’t do it justice as it’s absolutely massive. More of a compound than a villa but yet still manages to be secluded, private and cosy. From the separate bed room suites, large balconies and giant en suite bathrooms with walk in wardrobes, two living rooms, well stocked kitchen and utility room, to the coy fish pond that leads you into the villa, big pool ( not really for young children as no shallow end ) and sprawling well kept gardens...every detail, fitting and fixture has be thought out and makes the whole vibe of this home even more impressive. The views overlooking the beach from either living room and bedrooms are breathtaking, esp at sunset and the staff ( hats off to Wayan ) go out of their way to make you feel ultra comfortable while being almost invisible. Direct access to the almost deserted, clean beach 2 mins down the hill and plenty of quality little bars, cafes and outdoor restaurants 10 mins along the soft sand to enjoy as you watch the surfers battle the waves. Overall, a top notch villa in a top notch location with a top notch team looking after it, hats off and highly recommended. We’ll be back!

This place is so wonderful that we just wanted to stay. The house is nicely furnished and has loads of details. The pool is fantastic and the beach is just a minute away. Restaurants can be easily reached in 10-15 min. walk on the beach. Wayan and his staff were incredibly kind. We got breakfast according to our needs and a dinner on special request. You see the sunset from the terrace and if you are lucky the gardeners bring you a fresh coconut. We stayed only 4 nights after a fantastic 2.5 week tour through Java and Bali. This is definitely a 5* place to stay.
Delightful villa located about 2.5 hours from Denpasar, off the main road in a drive shared by a few other properties. It is a short walk to the beach down some steps and about 5 minutes away from Balian Surf Camp which serves good cheap food and drinks. A further 10 minutes walk along, across a stream which you need to wade through, is the main Balian village that has a few more restaurants (Tekor Bali and Tom’s Garden Café were both great – cheap and good local food) and a few bars. It is all very low key, friendly and much nicer that the (over) busy Seminyak but don’t expect haute cuisine or dishes to arrive in the order you expect them. The villa itself is amazing and really four separate traditional buildings. There is the lounge / dining room / kitchen (well equipped and furnished) and two main bedrooms each with their own bathroom; the first overlooks the pool and the second has a great balcony overlooking the garden and beach down the hill. Connecting them together is a patio and covered terrace. The pool is a good size, deep and warm. The third bedroom and bathroom is located away from the rest and is self-contained. The view is utterly spectacular, especially from the gazebo at sunset. Wayan who manages the place was really helpful and was on hand to help with anything including driving to / from the village if you don’t fancy the walk (INR 50k each way), picking up supplies from the local shops and helping with getting a local mobile SIM working (only Telkonsel has coverage). The cleaner also does the laundry and the gardeners are friendly even bringing us coconuts they cut down. Overall we would thoroughly recommend the villa, location and staff. Perhaps the only thing which could be improved is the lighting, especially in the bathrooms, where can be a bit dim.

Everything is absolutely Perfect. This villa is way more beautiful than the photos you see on airbnb. You will be treat like a king, with discretion and in a balinesse environment. Waywan and is wife where very polite and cared very mutch about our needs. We gonna remember them for a long time. We where 5 adults and a Young child and we would recommend this place to anyone. Literally a dream come true with the sound of the waves and the beautiful vegetation around. You just need to know that you are in that place to relax and enjoy the luxury nature around. You will need a car or a driver like waywan to go visit around. French : Nous avons passé moi et ma famille (incluant un enfant de 3 ans ) un séjour tout à fait parfait. Absolument rien à redire. Du luxe, un service impeccable et une vue à couper le souffle. Jamais nous aurions pensé pouvoir séjourner dans un endroit comme ça à un prix aussi dérisoire. Une perle que je recommande fortement. Vous devez avoir une voiture ou utiliser les services de waywan sur place pour vous conduire autour (700.000 IDr pour la journée complète). Paradise by the sea doesn’t even begin to describe how magical this place is. I came to Bali looking for some time to recharge and that is exactly what I got and more. Our morning was made special by Wayan making our breakfast. Then discussions on if we would like to make plans to sight see. The hardest choices for us to make were whether to explore Bali or just lay by the pool and soak up the scenery. I loved coming home to beautiful sunsets followed by wine and cheese overlooking the ocean. Our evenings finished by going to bed listening to the sounds of the ocean. The highlight of our stay was a beautiful dinner prepared by Wayans lovely wife. I wish I had of had her cooking every night. My first Airbnb stay and I am in love. My only advice is if you want to be nearer to tourist spots then allow 2 hours or more depending on traffic as it is very secluded
Everything was like expected. The Villa is surrounded by beautiful nature. The beach is just a few minutes away and is perfect for long walks and watching the sunset. Wayan and his family take care of everything and are trully friendly people. Wayan took us on fascinating day trips and knows everything about Bali and its culture.
Wonderful Villa, great ocean view, a perfect house for relaxing and for exploring the region. We enjoyed every minute in the house. Cause of the Bali traffic you need 2 hours to Canggu for a cool shopping destination and nearly 3 hours to the airport. Thanks a lot to Wayan and the house crew, they managed everything for us.
Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour au "Paradis by the sea". La maison est superbe, la piscine et le jardin fantastiques. Á deux minutes à pied d'une superbe plage. Le personnel est adorable, serviable et professionnel. Nous avons souvent dîné ou déjeuné à la villa et la cuisinière est un vrai "chef" ! Merci à tous pour ses belles vacances.

We had a wonderful stay at Paradise by the sea. The place was relaxing, cleaned everyday and had all required facilities. It is a bit of a drive to Kuta and Seminyak. We just paid the bit extra for taxi day trips as we really liked the accomodation. You need to plan for your food/ meals before hand as there are not many places close by.. Wayan who is the house manager Was really flexible and all other house staff very polite. Recommend this place to anyone planning on a relaxing stay in Bali.
