Exploring Peaceful Bamboo Bungalow • Nature Stay + Breakfast left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Peaceful Bamboo Bungalow • Nature Stay + Breakfast was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Nusa Penida plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Peaceful Bamboo Bungalow • Nature Stay + Breakfast painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Not bad!!

The place was nice. We found about 20 dead ants on our bed and the mosquito net wasn't big enough for the bed so we couldn't really use it at all. We also asked for a breakfast box to have for an early excursion and he agreed to give us some fruit on a box but the he forgot and we didn't have breakfast the next day. The place is still cheap si you can't really expect much more.

Tutto molto carino e grazioso, completamente immerso nel verde e circondato da suoni di animali di ogni tipo! Purtroppo abbiamo lasciato la casa dopo la prima notte perché per noi era risultata molto piccola e soltanto dopo ci siamo accorti che era vietato usare il phon, perché l’energia delle capanne non è sufficiente.

Wir haben sehr viele gute Tips vom Gastgeber bekommen und tolle Erlebnisse dadurch gehabt. Luna, der Hund hat uns am ersten Tag schon bis zum Stand begleitet -sehr vertaut und unglaublich süss ist auch Mary. Man hat wo man hinschaut grüne Pflanzen um sich und kann Vögel und andere kleine Tiere beobachten. Das Bungalow ist hübsch (vielleicht etwas dunkel und warm) und die Aussendusche ein schönes Erlebnis. Danke dem Team für das Morgenessen und putzen der Wege ;)

Great place, definitely recommend if you want jungle vibe. Water in the shower was the only negative I could say other than that can’t complain

It’s a very beautiful place. The bathroom is gorgeous. The breakfast and kitchen area are nice. It is at the top of a pretty steep hill which is something to take note of. You should be fit or have a bike. I really enjoyed this place. Thank you for having me Nengah!

It's a great place if you want peace and quiet. And if you are an animal lover such cute dogs and cats here. The place of Nengah is in the forest, an authentic and quiet place. Transportation is a bit of a problem, if you want to walk, a challenging feat awaits you as it is a very steep climb and walking at night may scare you if you are afraid of the dark. If you are going to stay, I definitely recommend rent a scooter. Otherwise the place was beautiful and definitely gave jungle vibes.

Très bon logement dans un endroit très jolie et reculé pour être au calme. Les bars et restaurants sont accessibles à pieds (10/15 minutes). Seul petit bémol une mésaventure avec le conducteur que le logement nous a proposé, et peut être un manque de service et d’informations des activités à faire dans les alentours. Nous restons tout de même content de notre aventure ici.

There was the sweetest little greeting committee (dog and kitty). The breakfast was good. Although the place was tiny, there was enough space to put our things away. The deco and bathroom are adorable. The cabin isn't soundproof at all though- we were lucky to have quiet neighbors but we heard others complain about this, so I thought I would mention it. The main street with all the restos is around a 15-minute walk. The only downside is that it is hard to drive up to the cabin because of the road condition, especially with a scooter. The host was super nice, responsive and attentive to our needs. Good experience overall.

Cottages made from bamboo with thin walls in lush garden. Beautiful open area for meeting others, dining and cooking. Not very far (10-15 min walk) from beach. Bad was a bit hard for me and I had some difficulty to sleep also as no AC ( it was my fault not to check this at the time of reservation), and ventilation laud.

It was a wonderful stay and a beautiful experience at his place.

Good location, close to the port and nice restaurants. Nengah gave a lot of information on what to do around the island. Need a bike or car to get to the home stay, but very convenient to rent a bike from the hosts. The outdoor bathroom was really nice. Room can be a little noisy at night time for light sleepers

Great jungle location with friendly staff. Some difficulty getting around without car or bike, as was on steep hill for us.

The room is very good in terms of value for money. The hosts are warm. The breakfast is very generous. However, the location is located in the middle of the forest. It is impossible not to be motorized to return in the evening. This place is perfect if you are very comfortable on a scooter because the path is complicated.

Great location, great stay, i would recommand with my eyes closed ! The dogs living there are the cutest one and Nengah is a great host, very accommodating and helpful ! The only critic i could make is that the stay is really noisy at night.. but worth it tbh !

Amazing if you want to escape the busy tourist spots and enjoy life. It’s up the hill in the middle of nature. Really enjoyed it there, was an amazing start of our vacation!

Amei estar por aqui, até queria ter ficado mais… o bangalô muito tranquilo e confortável. A cama incrível, e o ponto alto é o banheiro a céu aberto que dá toda uma conexão com o meio ambiente. Amei demais, como viajante solo, super recomendo.

What can I say, beautiful accommodation and surroundings. Advise scooter rental, but if you're not comfortable with scooters taxis are available. Two adorable dogs and two lovely cats on the property, perfect chilled vibe ❤️🧘🏻

Absoloutely loved our stay at Kelibun Homestay. Nengah welcomed us in person and gave us clear instructions and great local reccomendations. Walking distance to all the great restaurants and beach clubs as well as all the aquatic activities. Extremely peaceful sorrounding and it was perfect because this is exactly what we wanted (some peace after a long day out). Will definitely revisit when we are back in Bali.

2 nuits passées a.nusa penida dans ce logement. La 1ère nuit a été perturbée pas les.aboiements des chiens aux alentours. La 2eme cela a été plus paisible. Le.petit déjeuner était parfait même si le durian coupé a la fin de notre petit déjeuner à embaumer tout l'espace. Merci à notre hôte de nous avoir fait goûter ce fruit qui pue autant !

I had a great stay at this beautiful place! Nice, calm and special location surrounded by nature, very friendly staff and owner as well as cute dogs/cat who really love being pet 😄 I recommend you to rent a scooter via the owners contact, I paid 80k/day for a good one. Just make sure to check the breaks as the roads can get quite steep :) Thanks Nengah, until next time!

Mon séjour s’est très bien passé. Mon logement était parfait, propre ! Comme mentionné dans l’annonce. On est entouré de verdures. Et le petit dej le matin est excellent 😍 on y mange bien. D’ailleurs il m’a recommandé pas mal de spot (endroits à visiter, ou manger)

Perfect spot for a 5 day solo quiet stay on Nusa Penida. I loved the private garden vibes, the traditional Joglo was spotlessly clean .. beautiful good quality linen sheets, great ceiling fan and beautiful clean open air bathroom facilities. The girls made me feel very welcome and prepared a delicious fresh fruit, pancake, toast and scramble egg breakfast each morning and you can help yourself to tea / coffee anytime. As I was there for a little solo rest and reflection time - I purchased food from local stores and made a few of my own lunches/dinners in the kitchen which was well equipped. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby - within 10 -20 mins walk .. a bit of a hill nearby but all totally walkable. I enjoyed the peaceful jungle atmosphere & bird songs - sitting on the comfortable cane chair on my deck reading a book and planning my days. I highly recommend this stay for anyone wanting somewhere to rest and recharge between daily adventures. I will definitely be back x

Beautiful sanctuary

Nengah has created a beautiful, tranquil space. All the trees and plants on the property cared for with love. The bungalow and attached outside bathroom well designed, clean and I quickly felt at home here. Truly felt like a sanctuary during my ten day stay. Breakfast is delicious. Nengah is quick to respond to any queries and incredibly helpful with recommendations. I could not have asked for a better experience. Many thanks Nengah for sharing this peaceful space you have created.

Had the most beautiful stay here, Ayu was incredibly helpful, and flexible. It’s like a private hidden jungle! I stayed a whole week and it was the perfect escape. Definitely need to hire a scooter to get around the island, you can walk but it can get warm through certain times of the day. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Es de los lugares mas bonitos donde me he alojado sin duda! Desde nuestra llegada los anfitriones nos hicieron sentir como en casa, incluido las dos perritas (Luna y Maya) :) Las cabañas son de ensueño, el baño te permite ducharte en mitad de la naturaleza y la cama es comodisima...descansamos genial!! El desayuno fue super variado y contundente, cafe, te, frutas, tostadas, pancakes, huevos....espectacular!! Si buscas alojarte entre naturaleza y descansar despues de explorar la isla, este es tu sitio. Ojala habernos quedado mas tiempo :)

This was a beautiful homestay. The host was very friendly and helpful. She provided us with drivers as well as drove us back to the port for our ferry. She provided amazing breakfast every morning. The room was very clean and she provided bug repellent. She has very friendly cats and dogs that we could play with. It was a close walk to multiple restaurants. We would definitely recommend her, we had an absolutely wonderful stay.

A beautiful experience, one of the kindest hosts I've ever come across in years of travelling Bali. Peaceful but close to many good restaurants and bars. Loved our time there.

100% recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay short or long term in Penida! It’s a small homestay, secluded from the rest of main Penida, but still close enough to access them through motorbike. The room itself is very cozy, surrounded by lush greens. The kitchen is right next to the rooms, can cook and store things in the fridge. Morning breakfast is amazing with the jungle vibe. To me, the bathroom was the highlight, very well decorated and open to the jungle making it well ventilated giving that special bathroom time experience. Any greenery lover would love this place! Special thanks to Ayu, Luna, and Maya for making our time there even better❤️

A calm place to stay

I stayed with my husband and three children (11, 13 and 16) in the three tree houses for three nights. Everything was fabulous and the breakfast was lovely. Ayu made sure we had plenty and was a lively smiling face every morning. They helped us with a driver, Kharma, who was a very good driver and helped us with places to see.

I had a fantastic stay at Kelibun Homestay in the north of Nusa Penida. It's a very quiet and relaxing place surrounded by nature. The cottages are beautiful decorated, clean and everything was well prepared. Nengah is an amazing host, he and his staff prepared delicious breakfast every morning. We also had some nice chats and he gave me some recommendations of restaurants and places to visit in Nusa Penida. 10/10 points! Would love to stay there again, next time I am visiting the island :-)

toller Aufenthalt und Nengah war immer gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist etwas abseits aber auf diese Weise hat man seine Privatsphäre.

Good location - close to restaurants, massage and shops. Our rooms were private, clean and the breakfast in the mornings were very nice. I would note that the airbnb is located on top of steep hill with no lights. So bring your headlights if you are planning on walking. Taxi is 150k or scooter is convenient. Loved our stay :)

This is hands down the place to stay at when on Penida Island. Ayu was a great help during our stay, prepared us breakfast for all 3 days, helped us with restaurant & location suggestions. The stars are Luna & Maya, such loving dogs. Will miss them & would love to be back here over & over again. The whole place was clean, green & cool.

Excellent experience staying at this property. Host and manager both were very accommodating and friendly. Made us really fresh breakfast too. Host helped us with both scooter rental and taxi booking during check out. We would definitely stay here again.

Very very beautiful place and amazing breakfast! Great value for the price. We recommend Karma as a driver to show the island. East and west side each cost 600K, parking and entrance fees not included. There are other drivers that charge higher prices, so keep that in mind. Pickup from the harbour costs 150K.

It is a special place. I enjoyed a lot my time here. It is always so nice to be surrounded by the nature. You wake up to the songs of the birds in the morning. You can watch the stars while you are taking your shower. If you are a nature, green, plant lover this place is the right place. Not far from the main area, restaurants, beach and other places. Thanks to these people for creating such a unique, beautiful place.

Die Unterkunft ist unweit vom Strand, man fühlt sich jedoch wie im Dschungel, was es zu einem ganz besonderen Erlebnis macht. Alles war sehr sauber und der Gastgeber sowie die Dame, die man oft sieht, nett und hilfsbereit. Durch die Hunde und Katzen konnte man zusätzlich abschalten!

We were very impressed with this beautiful homestay, from the beautiful gardens to the lovely decorated room and outside bathroom. Everything was really clean, breakfast and as much mineral water as you need are included. Our hosts took care of every transportation need we had and provided us with a driver that took us on two day trips around Nusa Penida (the prices were very fair). The cats and dogs were also really cute :) We loved it and can recommend it to anyone visting Nusa Penida!

A beautiful place! Surrounded by jungle and with impeccable decoration. The staff were very kind and even waited for us to check in. The breakfast was also very good! If I had to mention something negative, the walls are quite thin and we felt a bit cold at night — it would’ve been nice to have an extra blanket on the bed. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it!

Bardzo spokojna okolica, domki otoczone gęstą roślinnością, dojazd może być problematyczny (boczne drogi i pod górkę), ale blisko do centrum. 15-20 minut spokojnym spacerem do wielu bardzo dobrych restauracji i kawiarni. 15 minut taxi do portu. Domki są fantastyczne! Czyste, niewielkie, fantastyczna łazienka! W sypialni odrobinę ciemno ale zdecydowanie polecamy. Bardzo miła obsługa, pyszne śniadania. 10/10!

Really great place, quiet but close to a lot of dive club and restaurant, the location is really great, For the room it was perfectly clean and ideal for a few days staying in Penida !

This place is incredible. A very chill oasis, with a beautiful garden. Your room is in the forest, and the attached. bathroom is great. Nengah is very kind, and gave me suggestions for where to o and what to eat on the island. The staff are great and you get a wonderful breakfast included. I wish I’d stayed here longer. Only thing worth mentioning is the driveway is a little challenging getting in. But so worth it for what waits at the end!

Had a beautiful few days here

Kelibun was a little slice of heaven, tucked away in the hills of Nusapenida surrounded by nature it was the perfect place to relax and re ground. Nengah was a brilliant host, he gave us lots of recommendations on how best to spend our time on the island and some of the best sunset spots! Yummy breakfast included (the homemade mango jam was a highlight!) and great amenities to make yourself a hot drink or cook if you felt like doing so. If we had more time, we would have stayed for longer. It was hard to say goodbye to this place, hopefully we will be back again one day :) Thank you Nengah for a beautiful stay.

The place is wonderful, the garden and the rooms organisation is amazing!

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und toll und ruhig gelegen. Man konnte mit dem Roller die gesamte Insel erkunden und abends auch zu Restaurants laufen, allerdings musste man den Hügel wieder hochlaufen. Der Garten war sehr sehr schön. Das Frühstück war auch gut, nur schade, dass die Getränkeauswahl eher mikrig war. Wir hatten uns vor allem auf frische Fruchsäfte gefreut, die gab es leider gar nicht. Für 2 - 3 Tage war die Hütte sehr schön. Das Außenbad war toll. Auf den Fotos hat man leider nicht die gringe Größe der Hütte gesehen (links und rechts vom Bett jeweils ca. 1,5 m Platz), daher evtl. nicht für längere Aufenthalte geeignet.

Wonderful accommodation! I was amazed right from the start. Everything is built so lovely and you can expect deep rest whilst listening to the sounds of the nature around you. Highly recommend it 🙏🏻

This place is so amazing that I don't even have a words to describe it. So peaceful, calm and serene, you are in a mini-jungle and yet very close to the beach and all the restaurants and shops. This is for sure my forever homestay when in Penida! ✨️🌈 Also, Nengah is an amazing host, as well as Aju. Very kind, friendly and helpful. 💚 The cats and dogs incredibly sweet and cuddly and you wish to stay here forever. Just an incredible and magical place and I will not look for any other place to stay when in Penida.🦎🌿🌴🪴 Nenhgah, thank you very much for everything and see you again!

We had a great experience staying at Kelibun homestay. First of all the ambience - you are in a green oasis surrounded by nature sounds. Welcoming hosts - were so nice to give us a lift to the motorbike rental (they suggest bikes at their place but occasionally the one had just been broken the day before), cooked tofu scramble specially for me and gave us a try of boiled peanuts (never cooked it like this before). The bungalow is simple but really awesome, with a handful of tiny details. The fans were absolutely enough and we didn't have any inconveniences without AC and hot water in the shower. What I was worried about were insects as the territory is like a jungle. But surprisingly I hardly saw any (except caterpillars which are common during the rainy season and they are everywhere). I liked waking up with the birds singing and sitting on the porch in the evening. We will definitely stay at Kelibun homestay once we decide to come back to Penida

Nengah’s accommodation is an absolute gem in the jungle. The space is very clean and worthy the price. The host is ready and happy to help you. You will love the two dogs, they are very friendly. The space is surrounded by the jungle and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Totally recommend it!

Nengah’s place is very peacefull! We arrived from a long flight and felt immedetaly rest when arriving the place! Nengah himself is a very nice and calm person to be with! We joined on his boat for a snorkel trip and he gave a lot of recommedations on the island to us! In the future we will definitely go back to Nengah for his place and for him as a person! Thanks Nengah for making the stay so easy for us!

abbiamo alloggiato nella casa nella giungla di Nengah ed è stato molto piacevole! il bungalow è molto piu bello di quello che sembra in foto, si vede che è nuovo e curato con amore. anche negli spazi comuni si respira un senso di tranquillità e pace. noi abbiamo avuto qualche difficolta a torvare il posto a causa di qualche problema di internet sull'isola ma Nengah è stato gentile e attento a fornirci tutte le indicazione per poter raggiungere il suo alloggio! Inoltre, a pochi minuti in scooter si trova tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno! Assolutamente consigliato se si vuole respirare l'atmosfera autentica dell'isola!

A wonderful homestay with amazing host. If you want to feel close to nature, wake up to the sounds of different animals, be in the midst of the jungle while still walking distance from the centre, this one is for you. Having said that, I would not recommend this place if you - Are used to hotel-type of travel - Are scared of the dark - Are not adventurous and open minded Definitely an experience I will remember forever :)

We loved our stay at Nengah’s Airbnb. Nengah and his girlfriend were very friendly, responsive and helpful with directions and recommendations. Ayu was also very kind and served a delicious breakfast, portion size was more than expected as well with fresh fruit, pancake, toast, scrambled egg and tea/coffee! The kitchen was also a shared kitchen, fully equipped with what you need to cook and free double-filtered drinking water. The room was cosy, with a nice outdoor bathroom attached to it. Ear plugs will come in handy as the wildlife and chickens start to sing in the early hours. No A/C but room had two fans that created a nice breeze and was good enough for us. It was such a beautiful and cosy stay, thank you for having us ☺️

We loved our stay at Kelibun Homestay. Such a nice place and perfect for relaxation. The bungalow was better than expected and very nice furnished. We also went snorkeling with Nengah and saw some beautiful reefs which was an amazing experience. A bit far away from the most popular locations, but didn’t matter for us who just came to chill 😊

Agréable séjour dans ce petit bungalow entouré d’un magnifique jardin ! Très reposant et paisible. Le personnel est très gentil, petit déjeuner succulent. Le bungalow est très propre et la salle de bain très belle! Un plaisir de prendre sa douche en plein air quand il fait chaud ! Il faut prévoir un scooter pour accéder au logement car il est excentré et ne pas avoir peur d’utiliser un scooter avec une sacré pente !!

Lovely bungalow in the jungle with comfortable chairs and a hammock at the porch. Everything is as described. They provide drinking water and you can use their fridge. Just the smoke from burning rubbish was a bit annoying (I don't know if it was theirs or from the neighbors). Cool vibes, many thanks :)

Cette cabane dans cette oasis de verdure est étonnante ! Sur l’île, il fait tellement chaud que la douche à l’eau fraîche est la bienvenue. La ventilation dans la chambre est efficace. Petit déjeuner frais confectionné minute par les hôtes du logement. Je recommande !

Magnifique endroit au calme, un peu isolé des routes principales mais en restant très proche des activités. Le petit déjeuner était incroyablement bons et super copieux Nous avons passé un super moment chez notre hôte Nengah. Pour un passage sur Nusa Penida dans un cadre amical nous conseillons de venir ici!

Nengahs Unterkunft war wirklich etwas besonderes, das Gelände war wie ein eigener kleiner Dschungel reichlich bepflanzt, was kühlen Schatten vor der Sonne bot. Das außen gelegene Bad war etwas, das ich so noch nie gesehen hatte, aber sehr genossen habe und auch der Rest des Bungalows war schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück wurde jeden Morgen frisch zubereitet und war sehr lecker! Nengah hat uns auf seinem eigenen Boot mit zum Schnorcheln genommen und uns die besten Orte gezeigt, es war ein toller Ausflug zu einem sehr fairen Preis, so wie auch die Roller, die wir direkt bei ihm leihen konnten! Nengah nous a beaucoup conseillé sur les activités à faire et nous à enmené en bateau faire du snorkeling c était absolument incroyable ! je reviendrai ici sans hésiter !

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und hat die Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet sowie dekoriert. Nengah hat uns freundlich empfangen und Tipps für Restaurants und Strände gegeben. Es war uns außerdem möglich einen Scooter bei ihm zu mieten.

È un posto magico immerso nella natura di Nusa Penida. È molto semplice, ma arredato con gusto. Il bagno è una vera chicca! La colazione è buonissima e molto ricca, la ragazza che ci ha accolto è stata molto carina ed educata. La struttura sta in collina a circa 20 minuti a piedi dalla principale via con ristoranti e bar, la sera è un po' buia ma se c'è la luna non è quasi necessaria neanche la torcia. La strada non è delle migliori soprattutto nell'ultimo pezzo (in salita e poco asfaltata), ma se avete un po' di dimestichezza nella guida, non avrete problemi. Ritorneremmo volentieri!

The place is amazing! It’s surrounded of nature and the views are incredible. Everything was super clean and the stuff is super nice. The breakfast is really good as well. The only thing to consider it’s that u need to rent a bike or take taxi for everything. I really recommend the place :)

Die etwas abgeschiedenere Lage, weg vom Trubel der Insel hat einen hohen Erholungsfaktor. Man benötigt auf jeden Fall ein Motorbike, das man sich praktischerweise in der Unterkunft leihen kann. Die Straßen zur Unterkunft könnten für Fahranfänger eine Herausforderung sein. Die Unterkunft hat einen wunderschönen, gepflegten Garten und das Frühstück war wirklich sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Die Mitarbeiterin war äußerst freundlich und bei allen Anfragen sehr hilfsbereit. Unserer Meinung nach ist das einzige Manko die lauten Hühner am frühen Morgen, die in der Umgebung leben. Mit Ohrenstöpseln jedoch kein Thema. Danke für die schöne Zeit ! 😊

Le logement était magnifique et impeccable, la chambre est très belle avec sa terrasse privée et la salle de bain est plus que fonctionnelle et très agréable. Le logement se trouve dans la nature donc il faut aimer les animaux mais nous adorons la nature donc c’était idéal. Le petit déjeuner est un régal et le guide de Nengah vous permettra de voir toutes les jolies choses qu’à à proposer Nusa Penida.

很好玩的一个小木屋，里面有小花园，花园很有热带雨林的氛围，能看得出来房东用心打理的～是城市里没有的体验，很原始但是很干净。酒店只有三个独栋的小木屋，隐私性很强。

Very beautiful room, it was so nice to be in contact with the nature, that was exactly I was looking for! Breakfast was also delicious. Nengah is a very nice host as well as his staff. Mind the road to get there, it's quite steep and bumpy for scooters but everything went fine! Super recommend!

We really loved our stay at Kelibun homestay. Especially the homemade jams at breakfast were excellent :) great location, nice, clean and quiet. Walking distance to some good restaurants! ☺️

Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit hier. Die zwei Hunde Luna und Maya haben uns den Aufenthalt auch noch versüßt. Die Unterkunft ist zwar etwas abgelegener, aber deswegen umso erholsamer. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und bietet absoluten Wohlfühlfaktor. Wir können diese Unterkunft mehr als weiterempfehlen.

I loved my stay here! It was so nice to be so immersed in nature, the night sky was so beautiful. So many stars. Really relaxing and Nengah clearly put a lot of love into his place. It wa such a pleasure to come back home at the end of a long day to this beautiful jungle oasis. Easy 15 minute walk to nice restaurants right by the beach. Nengah is very helpful and kind, his nieces and nephews are so cute too. And Luna, maya, and the 2 cats are so sweet and friendly! The place was very clean as well. There’s no hot water but I didn’t mind. Loved the decor and the bathroom. Thank you so much 🙏🏼🌱✨

Pasamos unos días increíbles en nuestra cabaña. Estábamos rodeados de naturaleza pero a la misma vez muy cerca de restaurantes y una zona con mucha actividad. Nengah fue muy amable, nos ofreció una moto para pasar nuestros días recorriendo la isla y nos dio información sobre lugares no tan turísticos que podíamos visitar. Nos sentimos realmente como en casa. Hasta los perritos y la gata eran adorables 😊 Repetiremos sin duda un nuestra próxima visita a Nusa Penida. Nos vamos muy agradecidos 🙏🏼

Second time here and did not disappoint! Loved it the first time and this time. It’s a beautiful little place, peaceful and great location just enough up from the activity on the streets but close enough to easily walk to or scooter to. Really friendly hosts too!

Wir haben Nengahs Unterkunft geliebt. Super ruhige Lage und trotzdem ist man mit dem Roller in weniger als 5 Minuten mitten in der Gegend von Restaurants und netten Bars. Nengah gab uns Tipps zum Essen und trinken gehen aber auch für Sehenswürdigkeiten etc. Wir wollten eine schnorcheltour machen und konnten das sogar direkt bei ihm buchen, da er ein eigenes Boot hat.

Vous séjour au milieu de la végétation avec tous le confort nécessaire ! La chambre est dotée d’un ventilateur qui rafraîchit parfaitement bien pendant la nuit et la journée . Les nuits sont plutôt fraîche même durant l’été alors le ventilateur est largement suffisant. Les hôtes sont des personnes adorable . Et le personnel l’est tous autant . Merci 🙏

we loved staying here for 3 nights! overall, the place was kept very clean and the fan kept us cool at night. Nengah greeted up upon arrival, was very informative about any questions we had, and took us snorkeling when asked. we saw 3 sea turtles and were very excited about it 🐢 breakfast was delicious - i’m vegan and accommodations were made! the dogs and cats were some of the best parts about our stay. they often greeted us at the door to our bungalow in the mornings! be aware that the homestay is on a very tall hill though, we struggled riding motorbikes up it. thankfully nengah gave us the number for a driver though! thank you again nengah and effie! 🙏🏽

Kelibun, was amazing! What a beautiful property, and quiet, with all that you need. Nengah greeted us when we arrive and gave us very insightful tips on where and when to go places. Which really added to our experience! Ayu made breakfast every morning, she was very kind and accommodating. My parenter and I are vegan, and she made scrambled tofu for us instead of the regular breakfast. I even learned how to cook a few things from her! She does an amazing job keeping everything tidy. My partner was a little worried about not having AC but the fan on n the room was more than sufficient. We kept it on low and we were very cool. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay and experience, we look forward to returning. One tip make sure you look up Kelibun homestay on Google maps instead of using the directions link, to get the proper location. Thanks again, this place is amazing!!

Wir haben uns vollkommen wohl gefühlt. Sowohl die Hütte als auch das Gelände waren extrem sauber. Alle waren nett und höflich. Die Hütten und das Gelände waren noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Das kostenlose Frühstück war lecker. Die Tiere auf dem Gelände waren das I-Tüpfelchen. Wir danken für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Petit Havre de paix au milieu de la nature. Le lieu est très mignon, fait de petit espaces aménagés au milieu d'un jardin luxuriant. Le bungalow était propre, la salle de bain très agréable en plein air.

It was an amazing experience! The place was marvelous, basically a bungalow in the middle of the jungle! The host was very helpful and we did snorkeling with his boat! It was a unique experience in the nature!!

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück täglich mit Liebe gestaltet. Die Zimmer sind im natürlichen Stil gehalten. In den nicht klimatisierten Zimmern ist es dementsprechend warm und man muss mit einigen Moskitostichen rechnen. Trotzdem total empfehlenswert für jeden der auf eine süße Unterkunft im Grünen treffen will.

Wir waren 4 Nächte im Dschungel-Bungalow und hatten eine schöne Zeit. Der Garten ist super grün und mit viel Liebe angelegt. Nengah gab uns zu Beginn viele Tipps für (weniger touristische) Strände und Co., der Rollerverleih war unkompliziert für 75k am Tag. Das Frühstück war top! Außerdem haben wir mit Nengah eine private Schnorcheltour gemacht, das war mega - an 2 von 4 Spots waren wir die einzigen Schnorchelnden, weil wir mit dem Boot teils abseits der typischen Touristenrouten gefahren sind. Insgesamt ist die Gegend an der Insel-Promenade und den nahen Stränden etwas touristischer - man kann dem aber gut aus dem Weg gehen, wenn man mit dem Roller nur etwas weiter fährt. Danke für die gute Zeit!

Een ongelooflijk gastheer en personeel, het ontbijt was in de prijs inbegrepen en zeker de moeite waard koffie en thee en water ten allertijden beschikbaar in de keuken. Vraag zeker om met hem te gaan snorkelen hij heeft zijn eigen boot. Wat ons zeker opviel was de goede vibe en de lieve dieren die je komen verwelkomen.

Ich habe die Zeit bei Nengah sehr genossen!! Es war genau das, was ich gesucht hatte: ein eigener kleiner gemütlicher Bungalow, umgeben von viel Grün, inmitten eines wunderschön angelegten Gartens, ein bisschen abseits des Trubels, aber in Laufnähe zum Strand und belebten Straßen. Die offene Küche mit Wohnzimmerflair zur gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung, das liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück und die putzige Gesellschaft der Hunde und Katzen haben mir meinen Aufenthalt sehr versüßt☺️ Nengah und Effi sind wundervolle Gastgeber und zwei ganz liebe Menschen, ich kann diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen!! Our stay at Nengah’s place was fantastic. We felt at home straight away. Effi took the time to answer all of our questions upon arrival and it felt so welcoming. Thank you 🙏🏼 This is probably the nicest airbnb on the island! It feels like a secret jungle, very private and very well looked after. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and the staff incredibly nice. The cats and dogs are very friendly and cuddly and we could spot some gorgeous butterflies from our room terrace too! We went on a private snorkeling tour with Nengah and had such a beautiful experience. Renting a scooter made our life easier to move around and explore the island, some very tasty restaurants were very close by on the beach front. We’re missing the place already and hope to be back soon :)

We absolutely loved our 9 days in this jungle abode. The bungalow is extremely peaceful and quiet. The outdoor bathroom was cute and very clean, although we did miss having a hot shower. The water pressure was also quite low, but it was amazing to have a cold trickle shower in the outdoors anyway. Ayu, the housekeeper, made us fresh fruit salad for breakfast, a banana pancake, and some scrambled eggs everyday. She and her little soon were very sweet and attentive. The dogs, Luna and Maya, entertained us. And the cats were cute. Nengah was a warm host when we arrived and quick to give us suggestions and local spots off the beaten path. We can highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

It’s a really nice place. Peaceful, green, well decorated, clean. The owner and staff are very friendly. The room is simple but well made and well cared for. The breakfast was great and the location is perfect for a home base for island exploring. We rented a motorbike and drove all over the island. There are two dogs and a cat on the property who are all very friendly as well. There’s lots of restaurants in the area and even on foot you can get to quite a few spots for lunch and dinner. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants a simple accommodation with peaceful vibes and a beautiful atmosphere.

We had such a nice time at Nengah’s place, he takes great care in the accomodation and his community on Nusa Penida and is also helpful with recommendations. It’s about 10-15 mins walk to the beach (some hills) but was a nice way to see the local houses and farms. He also connected us with a driver to take us around the island who was very friendly, and we also went snorkelling on Nengah’s boat which was really beautiful. Highly recommend. Die beste Unterkunft auf Nusa Penida! Im Privatgarten des Superhosts schläft und lebt es sich traumhaft. Nengah kommuniziert perfekt und ist sehr hilfsbereit bei allen Anliegen. Er bietet auch selber Touren an, welche man sonst eher schwer findet (bspw Nachtfischen mit der Harpune). Als Einheimischer mit einer starken Verbundenheit zur Natur und dem Leben bietet Nengah nicht einfach nur ein klassisches AirBnB an, sondern er hat ein kleines Paradies geschaffen, wo sich jeder Gast zu Hause fühlen kann. Ich freue mich schon jetzt auf meinen nächsten Besuch. Terima kasih Kelibun family!

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt bei Nengah. Die Bungalows sind etwas ganz besonderes und bringen echten Dschungelreiz mit sich. Sei es die Terrasse mit Palmenblätter oder das Bad mitten im Freien. Nengah war immer super zu erreichen und half uns bei der Erstellung unser Aktivitätenplanung, außerdem bot er uns eine Schnorcheltour an, bei der wir Delfine und Schildkröten sahen. Das Frühstück war für indonesische Verhältnisse auch sehr ausgewogen und lecker. Die Lage der Unterkunft war eigentlich optimal, 10 Minuten weg vom Port und alle Attraktionen waren gut mit Roller erreichbar und die Restaurants in der Nähe auch. (Trotzdem muss man für die ein oder andere Fahrt 45 Minuten in Kauf nehmen, wenn es um gewissen Strände oder Viewpoints geht) Der Weg zum Airbnb mag gewöhnungsbedürftig sein, ist aber machbar. Wir waren überaus glücklich mit unserer Wahl dieses Airbnbs und können jedem die Buchung weiterempfehlen der sich nach seiner eigenen kleinen Dschungel Oase sehnt 🤗

Nengah e seu staff (infelizmente esqueci o nome da moça), são incríveis, extremamente educados e gentis. Nos proporcionou uma estadia além das expectativas, com um café da manhã delicioso, acomodação limpa e aconchegante. Pudemos desfrutar da tranquilidade do local, brincar com animaizinhos e relaxar. Nengah ainda nos indicou ótimos lugares para conhecer, aluguel da scooter e fizemos um passeio de snorkel por locais indescritíveis. Para quem está preocupado com animais e insetos podem ficar despreocupados pois não vimos uma mosca se quer.. apenas desfrutamos do canto dos pássaros. Super recomendo, melhor custo benefício. Welcome to the hidden paradise! This is a gorgeous place to stay on Penida and was our favourite accommodation during our vacation. Nengah is a very open, honest and friendly person. He helped us with everything we needed. He has scooters for rent as well as helps you with the transfer from the harbour to his place. Since Nengah is a real local, he had great recommendations for us for our stay on Penida. So we were able to see non- crowded and beautiful places on the island. The breakfast was freshly prepared in the open kitchen which was very delicious! Nengah has a private boat and loves diving, so he took the time for us to go snorkeling! 🤿 It was an amazing experience! Since this was my first snorkel experience, I felt very safe during our trip. I can highly recommend to do it!

Die Unterkunft von Nengah war traumhaft! Die Bungalows sehen alle genauso aus, wie auf den Fotos, das Außen-Bad ist definitiv ein Highlight. Die Zimmer sind, genau wie der Gemeinschaftsbereich, sehr liebevoll gestaltet und mit schönen Details dekoriert. Das Frühstück war richtig gut und wurde jeden Morgen frisch für uns zubereitet. Auch die Lage hätte besser nicht sein können: Einerseits sehr ruhig und privat, abseits von der großen Straße, andererseits sehr nah an allen möglichen Restaurants und Bars gelegen, die man fußläufig erreichen konnte. Nengah war ein toller Gastgeber, der sich viel Zeit für uns genommen hat, um uns Empfehlungen für die Gegend zu geben. Für uns war der Aufenthalt bei Nengah eine besonders tolle Erfahrung und wir würden hier jederzeit wieder buchen!

Excellent séjour chez Nengah. Un bungalow un peu reculé pour être au calme, mais proche de toutes commodités (10min à pied, 3min en scooter), au milieu de la nature (mousticaire sur le lit, mais on n'a vu aucun moustique !). Tout était super propre !! Salle de bain extérieure impeccable avec les petites fleurs déco en arrivant. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, une bonne assiette de fruits accompagnée d'une crèpe (assaisonnée de miel) et d'une tranche de pain avec des oeufs brouillés, tout cela préparé et servi par la femme très gentille du lieu. Nengah communique toutes les bonnes adresses (location scooter, bon restaurant...). Bref, un rapport qualité/prix imbattable, je recommande à 200%

Nengah is super behulpzaam en geeft goede tips om de mooie plekken in de omgeving te bezoeken en de drukte te vermijden. De tuin en hutten zijn goed onderhouden en zien er mooi uit.

Background: We stayed at Nengahs Homestay for 3 Nights. Before that we stayed at different Homestays and Hotels throughout Bali for around 2 weeks. The Homestay: The Bathroom was probably the cleanest we have seen on our journey and could set a shining example for everyone else. Another positive Point would be the breakfast. We got used to very small portion sizes and were positively surprised that we got a little more than we used to get everywhere else (at locations that had no buffet breakfast obviously). You can also use the kitchen to prepare your own lunch or dinner. We can really recommend going snorkling with Nengah, he took us on a private tour on his boat and drove us to 4 different spots to swim with the current to see the reef. That was a really nice experience. Please be aware that this is a small House that feels like it is located in the jungle, don't expect some fancy Hotel or AC stuff, it is exactly like it is shown and we really like that. 10/10 would recommend.

首先，房屋和图片相似，干净，安静，放松，热带风情书屋，我们非常喜欢！ 房东非常热心，乐于助人，我们度过了很放松的三天！ 但是，虽然距离主路只有5分钟，但是这段路非常不好走，即使出租车也很难过去，因为路太陡了. 对于喜欢洗热水澡的亚洲人来说，屋子里没有热水淋浴，而且也没有吹风机，并且晚上只有一个薄薄的被单盖在身上，我们是九月份去的，夜里温度已经很凉了，想一想，洗冷水澡，没有吹风机，晚上盖薄被单，我直接就感冒了…………如果房东能改进一下，我还是很乐意回来的，希望想要入住的朋友可以考虑以上几点，如果能接受，还是很推荐的

Just perfect in any way ! Clean and cosy. We felt like staying in middle of a jungle. Our host was so nice and gave us awesome advices for the island.

Superbe logement en forêt. Le bruit de la nature vous bercera. Le domaine est parfaitement entretenu et decoré avec goût. On sent la passion pour la nature des que l'on arrive Ambiance posée et chill. La chambre est cosy, propose et fonctionnelle. Une cuisine est a disposition avec frigo, thé et café. Les petits déjeuner sont superbes et copieux. Tout est frais et preparé le matin même. Notre hôte nous a conseillé le restau coco Penida. Nous y avons bien mangé. Si vous avez envie de nature, de tranquilité et d'être bercé par le bruit des animaux ... Foncez! Nous avons fait une excursion avec notre hôte. 0 touristes et nous avons eu la chance de nager avec des raies et des tortues sont la protection de Nengag avec son bateau, du fait de courant. Nous avons également loué un scooter par son biais. Merci Nengag pour ce séjour.

Wir nutzten die Unterkunft von Nengah für 4 Nächte. Ein Aufenthalt hier lohnt sich vollkommen. Der Check-In war super einfach und uns wurde direkt alles erklärt und gezeigt. Die Hütten sind super schön und gemütlich. Auch Fish (Katze) und Luna (Hund), die Haustiere, geben das Gefühl von einem gemütlichen Zuhause. Das Frühstück, welches inklusive ist, war sehr gut und die Menge vollkommen ausreichend. Ich empfehle die Unterkunft jedem weiter und würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Alles in allem waren wir mit der Unterkunft super zufrieden! Einziges kleines „Luxus-Problem“: kein warmes Wasser zum duschen. Aufgrund der warmen Temperaturen war es aber auszuhalten. Nengah hat uns tolle Tips für Penida gegeben und uns eine private Schnorchel Tour mit seinem Boot gegeben. Auf dem Grundstück läuft sein Hund und seine Katze rum, die beide sehr gerne kuscheln oder auch mal auf dem Balkon sitzen. Wer Tiere mag, ist hier richtig 😍 Wir würden es weiter empfehlen!

had a great two-night stay at nengah's place. it's a chill, serene spot, a short walk from the main road. the former's a cool host: friendly, responsive, & quick to offer up recommendations; luna & fish (cat & dog, respectively) are v sweet, too. would love to stay again some day.

If you wanna spend some time in the middle of nowhere in nusapenida, this is the place. You will feel like living in a wooden house in the middle of a jungle, safe of course. Nengah is really nice, he’ll arrange scooters and other stuff for you. I forgot my wallet with all my cards at the place while checking out, nengah came all the way to the harbour and returned my wallet. One factor to consider is, the way to the resort is uphill and the roads are rough like many places in nusa penida. You’ll need a scooter to roam around so learn to ride one if you don’t know yet.

Byliśmy na Nusa Penidzie 4 dni i czas spędzony u naszego gospodarza był jednym z najlepszych punktów programu. W domku można było poczuć balijski klimat i odpocząć w pełni. Polecam Nengah jako gospodarza i mam nadzieję, że jeszcze kiedyś się spotkamy ;)

I would immediately book this jungle bunalow again. Nengah welcomed us very warmly. The bungalow was more than clean and also very tidy. I am very scared of bugs, etc. but despite the outdoor bathroom I only saw a snail and one ant, which made me really happy. Also, I'm not a big fan of dogs. However Luna is such a cute animal, she walked with us to the beach, waited for us at the door, I actually really miss her. Breakfast was also really yummy !

Cool, quiet and comfortable room and a beautiful and relaxing space to explore Nusa Penida from. We highly recommend taking a snorkling trip with Nengah....we loved our stay.

Nengah was erg proactief met het geven van lokale tips over de omgeving. We hebben hierdoor prachtige locaties bezocht en mogen ontdekken op het eiland. Een ochtend we een snorkeltour gedaan met Nengah. Het verblijf was geweldig, met heerlijk ontbijt.

We had a great time at Nengah's place. He also gave us helpful recommendations and helped us by booking a taxi, etc. The Homestay is pretty close to two harbours which makes it easy to get there, and explore the island from Kelibun :)

Ich habe es vom ersten Moment an so sehr geliebt! Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Natur, sodass man sich dieser gleich verbunden fühlt. Das offene Badezimmer war mein Highlight. Dass es dort schon mal die ein oder anderen Kriechtiere gibt, liegt nahe und war für mich überhaupt kein Problem. Zum Strand muss man etwas zu Fuß bergab laufen, aber dann gelangt man an einen, der zum Baden einlädt. Es gibt gute Bars und Restaurants, die ebenfalls bergab liegen. Auf der Insel gibt es vieles zu sehen und Nengah hilft gerne weiter, sei es mit einem Rollerverleih oder einem Fahrer, damit man die Insel erkunden kann. Fish die Katze und Luna die Hündin sind sehr freundliche Mitbewohner, die den Aufenthalt noch mal versüßt haben. Ich würde immer wieder an diesen Ort zurückkehren.

Wonderful place and host (and animals)!

Staying here was an amazing experience. It is remote but still only a five minute scooter to restaurants and shops. The stay itself is stunning and felt like a retreat. This was a once in a lifetime experience and I highly recommend.

It's a beautiful stay amidst a lush garden. Very private, cozy ann tiny tree house with all the basic amenities. Natural air, no AC, clean water, close to the beach, wooden and bamboo tree house with a nice portico, a neat common kitchen for your routine coffee/tea, Luna (The dog) and Fish (The cat) to keep you company! And of course, Nenga, for being a humble and friendly host! Would definitely recommend this homestay that's at the heart of nature.

Nengahs home stay was beautiful! You are surrounded by a picturesque and peaceful garden. The homestay is a about a 5-10 minute walk out from the main shops and restaurants. It is best if you have a scooter (also ideal for visiting and getting around other sites on Nusa Penida too). The room was clean and exactly as pictured. Nengah was a really kind and helpful host with recommendations and also available if you needed help during your stay on whats app. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet place off the main strip. The breakfast was also delicious! Thank you for having me!

This place is indeed a real treehouse and never stayed in anything like it before. The room was clean although no AC which is fine for some depends on your preference the bathroom is beautiful n outdoors all appliances seemed new and had good water pressure ! The kitchen was huge n stocked better than mine in Bali ! The best part of the stay we’re the two dogs that live on the property ! Steffi and Nengah were wonderful hosts! Breakfast homemade every morning and they even prepared a little dish for me before I went diving! Clean place, beautifully decorated, and has everything you could need. Scooters provided although I opted to drive them as I was not comfortable, so steffi helped me find a taxi driver for my time on Nusa Penida to get around! Highly recommend if you don’t mind a few bugs, a little bit of a drive places (or walk!), and love a good homemade breakfast :)

This is a great place if you want somewhere a bit off the beaten track. It's just like it looks in the pictures and is absolutely charming. Nengah was very welcoming and helpful. There's a very generous breakfast served every morning which I found enough to last me the day. There are lovely dogs who live here and will come up on to your balcony in the evening to keep you company. I was traveling alone and felt perfectly safe. I'd definitely stay here again. This is not the place for you if you need air-conditioning, a safe, hot water, a bug free environment. It's up in the jungle so there's lots of wildlife around.

We had a great time at Nengah's place. The bungalow was very clean with a beautiful bathroom. We loved the breakfast, which was very delicious. Nengah helped us with everything, renting a scooter, calling a taxi, and even took us swimming with matra rays.

Amazing place and hosts, especially Effie who made me feel right at home with great conversation. Such a peaceful and beautiful location in amongst the plants. The Included breakfast meals so big they could last you until dinner! :) Super close to some great places for food and drinks. It was nice to stay at his homestay I saw that he always clean the house. Neaty, tidy! I couldn’t ride a scooter so it was bit hard to travel around the Penida but Nengah took me on his scooter without hesitation. He dropped me off and picked me down wherever i want to go. Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde so wohl gefühlt und haben auch direkt nach 2 Nächten auf 4 Nächte verlängert. Wenn man nach Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist dieser Ort genau richtig. Es fühlt sich an als würde man im Jungel leben. Meine Schwester und ich würden immer wieder kommen und es hat sich mehr als gelohnt. Besten hosts die wir uns hätten vorstellen können und den Schnorchel Ausflug zum Manta Point lohnt sich auch mega 🙃

We really enjoyed our time here. Everything was as expected from pictures, descriptions and reviews. The bungalow was cozy and the outdoor bathroom was really special and beautiful. We really felt like we were in the middle of the nature even though it’s only a short scooter drive from the coast.

Overall big recommendation. Nice welcoming by a friend of Nengahs in German, my home language. The place is located quite elevated and the roads are a bit rough, but no problems for a local taxi driver to find. The whole garden is extremely beautiful; it is being taken well care of. My room and especially the bathroom were as special as you would assume from the pictures. Breakfast is included which I didn't know, so that was a nice surprise. It was prepared by another of Nengahs friends who was also very friendly! ++++

This place was exquisite, set in a lush tropical garden, the photos don’t do it justice. The host was extremely friendly, helpful and warm, helped me to organise a scooter and gave lots of recommendations for things to do on the island. The location is great, a few minutes walk down a hill to great restaurants and an organic grocery shop. I’d recommend for you stay organising a scooter or transport to see the island. But all in all my stay was wonderful and I’d definitely come back!

Imagine staying in the middle of the jungle yet everything you want is around you! Well this is exactly what’s Nengha’s accommodation offer.. First I fall in love with those beautiful dogs and the dominant cat 😂.. the cozy cottage was like my home very clean bed sheets and the fan works great even better than AC The open air bathroom is so adorable you can take a shower literally around nature.. The terrace view of the most beautiful trees “banana trees”.. The breakfast made with love and it’s a huge amount of food the can boost your day if you have a long day.. The hosts are helpful and made you feel like you are around your family.. I love how they can help you with tours and recommend places to visit. Recommend this place for sure..

Nengha’s homestay is a cozy place in the jungle. What stood out most is the delicious breakfast, that was even made vegan on our request, the sweet animals and the hospitality of the hosts. We loved our stay!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Nengah, le logement est situé en plein dans la nature, ce qui offre une expérience très dépaysante, évidemment il ne faut pas être avoir peur des gekkos et autres insectes qui sont du coup présents dans la chambre. Également il faut prendre en compte le fait que le logement est assez haut perché, donc il y a une grosse montée qui peut ne pas être évidente pour tout le monde, surtout en scooter. Mis à part ça nous avons aimé notre séjour et avons adoré le petit déjeuner préparé par Nengah et son équipe. Nous recommandons !

We really enjoyed our time at Nengah's place. It is easy to reach restaurant and bars by walk, while the place itself is in a very silent location. Nengha was also incredibly helpful in organizing our transport (booking speedboats for us, and finding us a driver for the rest of the time we spent on the island). Totally recommended!

My sister and I stayed in Nengah's wonderful homestay for 7 days and enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The hut was clean and cosy with a beautiful half outdoor bathroom, perfect for gazing through the tree canopy at the stars as you stand under the steam of the shower. Breakfast was balanced and delicious with generous portions. The location is only a 20 minute walk away from the island's best restaurant, Penida Colada (we tried several others but nothing came close for price and quality as this one). There are several dive shops and spas within walking distance too. Nengah was able to facilitate a day tour to the West side of the Island as well as a morning of snorkelling on a boat (saw a title and one manta). I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Es war super bei Nengah und Effi. Sie haben eine tolle Unterkunft mit super frischem und leckerem Frühstück! Für uns wurde eine Schnorcheltour organisiert und wir hatten mit Effi tolle Gespräche über alles mögliche. Sie gab uns einen Einblick in die balinesische Kultur und Empfehlungen für die Insel. Dort ist es super gemütlich und die Hunde und die Katze sind auch lieb und teilweise verschmust. Die Lage ist ruhig und abgelegener. Von dort aus sind gute Restaurants zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Nengah. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, c’est un vrai petit coin de paradis. Entouré de végétations, d’animaux (les chiens sont adorables). Le petit déjeuner était copieux et délicieux. Le bungalow est proche de tout, notamment Penida Colada qui est en bas de l’hôtel (super spot !). L’accès est un peu compliqué en scooter mais une fois que nous avons compris la route, ça se fait sans problème. L’hôte a répondu à toutes nos questions et donnait de super conseils. Merci pour tout, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

What a beautiful experience it was to stay at Nengah’s place! He’s such a chill person, local to Nusa Penida, and he’s always willing to help with whatever you need. They cooked us breakfast every morning, which was very nice, and even organised a special vegan brekkie for us with tofu scramble and homemade bread! The place is just 5 min up the hill by scooter from several good restaurants and warungs, and also from where you can just jump into the water and snorkel. He even lent us a mask to enjoy amazing free snorkel in Penida. We stayed an extra night cause we just couldn’t leave haha. Totally recommend

The accommodation is quietly situated on a hill, virtually in the middle of the green jungle. The huts are simply furnished, with a nice outdoor bathroom. There is water, tea and coffee in the kitchen and the breakfast was super tasty! Nengah is very helpful and drove us to the ferry port after our stay.

Staying at Nengah's it was like a dream come true. Being in nature, all the details in the room, he is super attentive and asking when and how you come. He received me and instantly felt like home. If I come back to Nusa Penida surely going back here. Thanks!

We loved our stay here. The outside bathroom is beautiful and the homestay is very comfortable and relaxing (hammocks!). We went on a snorkeling boat trip with the host and it was great! We asked for a vegan breakfast, which is a bit limited compared to other places we have stayed at (though it is great is included!): a lot of fruits and bread with jam.

Heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Nengah wou ons met vanalles helpen (boeken taxi, boeken toer op het eiland, huren scooter...). We gingen ook mee snorkelen op zijn boot, een fantastische ervaring! Zijn zus hielp ons toen we een zonneslag hadden. Een heel mooie locatie en erg proper! Heel huiselijke sfeer, ook met Bobby, Bella en Fish, superlieve dieren! Zeker een aanrader!!!

Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit. Alles was in den älteren Kommentaren steht stimmt. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und Nengah sehr nett.

Highly recommend. The location is much quieter than other spots near the road and it’s beautiful - so many plants everywhere and the bungalows are very cute. Nengah was so helpful when I needed to figure out my ferry and ride situations as well and was always quick to respond to my questions!

A must stay for everyone coming to nusa penida!!! The bungalos were so cozy and beautiful, Nengah is an incredible host - super responsive and we could rent scooters and get beers directly there for a cheap price. Cannot recommend Nengahs treehouse highly enough 10*. The treehouses had so much character and they are decorated beautifully. Nengah was an amazing host and so accommadating. Very easy going dude. He sorted me out with scooter rental and brought me back to the port on my last day. The treehouses were so cool I tried to extend my stay but they were fully booked the next night. Can’t wait to return.

Nengah was very hospitable to our needs and we loved staying here. The room was lovely, as well as the out door bathroom! The fan kept us cool, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!

Such a gorgeous and peaceful heaven. The entire place is so beautifully designed, and there is so much attention to detail - I loved the way the entire place was so beautifully intertwined with nature. Especially loved the open bathroom! The included breakfast was soooo good! Both hosts were so nice, welcoming and extremely accommodating; also, they had a lot of great tips about things to do and see on the island. I also went (together with two other fellow travelers) on a snorkeling trip with Nengah - something I would definitely recommend while staying on the island.

What an amazing homestay for the past 5 days, we enjoyed superb hospitality and started every day with a great spread of homecooked breakfast and fruits platter. Best of all, we loved the company of the furry companions, who greeted us each day we we depart and arrive at the homestay. Bobby, bella, luna, black dog, puppy (cuteness overload) and of course, fish the cat!The stay itself is a highlight of our trip, the animals made it so special for us and we were sad to depart. Beautiful get-a-way!

We had a wonderful stay. The place is beautiful, a treasure hut hidden in the jungle. Nengah is the best host ever. Very kind, chill and helpful. They shared a lot of great tips and even helped us when we needed to go to a nearby dokter. There are a lot of fun cafés and beach places nearby. A lot of great live music by local bands. The dogs and cat are lovely and Nusa Penida stole our hearts. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back.

It was the perfect place in nusa penida. You will feel really comfortable and at home there. The rooms are beautiful and nengah did everything that i felt comfortable there. Thank you for the stay!

It was best Airbnb that we stayed so far. Clem and Nengan are true super hosts with their warm welcome and care. The accommodation is filled with love and care and we really appreciated all the hard work they put to make this place beautiful and cozy. It really felt like a home away from home. The bed is comfortable and clean, the outdoor bathroom very beautiful and it's a real luxury to fall asleep listening to jungle sounds.

Brilliant homestay! We loved kelibun, nengha and Claire were so helpful and gave us great local tips for food, snorkeling and sightseeing! Breakfast was delicious, fans in bedroom were very handy, and it was in a lovely peaceful location. If you are on foot, get a taxi/hire a bike! The roads are much easier to drive on than expected :) would definitely recommend!!!

This place is certainly a MUST! We loved everything about it. Nengah is such a great host and the place is truly a gem. He gave us a lot of tips and advise with regards to travelling and sightseeing. We felt at home!

He gave us so many useful tips that really improved our stay on Nusa Penida, and even helped us book our boat to and from the island as well as a driver for a day - all for very fair prices. It was great to sit and chat with him and his friends as well as the other guests in the common area. You can tell the hosts genuinely care about helping guests have a great experience. The bungalow was wonderful too, very clean, and we loved the spacious, thoughtfully decorated outdoor bathroom and shower! Definitely a unique and memorable stay - the hosts have created such a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere that highlights the island’s beauty and nature. Highly recommended!

Amazing hospitality, it feels like a little home in Nusa Penida. Clem and Nengah arranged us a boat to go back to Bali, and we have done snorkeling on Nengah's boat for half a day (5 spots in Nusa Penida and Lembongan), which was very cool. Moreover, their pets are lovely, especially Bobby ! Don't hesitate to book your stay in Nusa Penida here !

Petit coin de paradis niché sur l’île ! Nengah et Clem sont au top, de même que les bungalows. Tout était super, à commencer par les petits-déjeuners copieux et les discussions tardives sur la terrasse ! Lieu très convivial et chaleureux ! Je recommande fortement !

The best homestay ever. I was fortunate enough to get one night with Nengah and his partner. They were so friendly and helpful, even came to check up on me in hospital (tip: always wear a helmet in Nusa Penida). Wish I stayed longer. It is a sin to come just for one night. 5 stars for this amazing place and for the people living there ! We really enjoyed our room and specially the outdoor bathroom. You can have a real share with Clem and Nengah to learn many things about the island, about Bali, about the people, the hindouism... I had such a good time at Nengah’s. He and Clem are so nice and always ready to give suggestions and help. I could rent a scooter and visit the island and could see some beautiful and less touristy places as per Clem’s advices. The bungalow is also amazing and clean and I could find everything I needed in it. I would surely stay at Nengah’s again if I came back to Nusa Penida.

Loved this homestay! Nengah and Clem are lovely hosts and make you feel at home, they gave us lots of local advise and places to visit which made our trip. The chilled and laid back vibe made sure we completely relaxed and it was a shame to leave. Would definitely recommend to others

Kelibun Homestay was an amazing place to stay. As a solo traveler, Clem and Negah made me feel right at home and were very welcoming from the second I stepped foot in their home. Located on the Penida hills, you get a spectacular view of the ocean, sunrise, and sunset. If you need help coordinating activities such as snorkeling or doing an island tour, Clem and Nengah will happily help you! They were even kind enough to pick me up from the ferry! Yes, there is no wifi at Kelibun, but that was even better as the people staying would meet up in the common space and share stories about their days and travels. It felt like you were a part of one big family. Trust me, you won't miss your phone. To anyone staying on Penida, I highly recommend you stay here. Had I had more time, I would have extended my stay!

We had such an amazing time with Nengah and Clem. We had been referred to them by a friend and were not disappointed!! Besides the room and surroundings being mindblowingly beautiful and well kept, Nengah and Clem were exceptional hosts. From coffee and chats when we arrived to advice on the Island over delicious breakfasts, we felt right at home in their piece of paradise. Clem shed loads of light on our questions about the island and the Balanise culture. One of our favorite stays of our entire trip. We'll definitely be back and send all our South African friends your way!!

Clem and Nengah’s place completely blew us away. It’s just stunning. My favourite parts were the outdoor bathroom, the fresh fruit for breakfast and their tips for exploring Penida. We originally booked for 2 nights but ended up staying 4.

My stay with Clem and Nengah was utter perfection. The location is beautiful and practical, and the hosts were so friendly and helpful, I did not want to leave.

La atención en este sitio es increíble! Les encanta hacerte sentir como en casa, son muy amables, se preocupan por ti, intentan ayudar en lo que pueden y sus desayunos con fruta, tostadas, mermelada y demás son geniales! Solo tuvimos un problema con la ducha los dos últimos dias apenas no teniamos agua! Por todo lo demás 100% recomendable!

This place is just beautiful! Clem and Nengah are the greatest hosts and we got help with anything we needed. We had amazing dinners together and hung out a lot everyday. Loved it and can’t wait to go back! Thanks guys!!

Such a cute place. Close to lots of nice restaurants and super close to the water. The hosts were amazing and gave us lots of local tips on things to do!! We had a blast staying here. Nengah caught and cooked us fresh fish for dinner!!

This place is AMAZING. Clementine and Nengah are the best hosts I have ever had! They are super helpful and great people. The garden has many delicious fresh fruits to eat and their cat Fish is so sweet and friendly. I cannot wait to come back and see them again!

It was a really Spezial stay. We just booked two night but ended up staying for 8 more nights. The homestay is in the peaceful green jungle of Nusa Penida with a self made garden made with a lot of love. You can really calm down and enjoy the beauties of Nusa Penida.The homestay is to 100% recommendable.. I will come again:)
