Exploring Poolside Oasis | Ungasan • Uluwatu left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Poolside Oasis | Ungasan • Uluwatu was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my South Kuta plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Poolside Oasis | Ungasan • Uluwatu painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
Do not stay here! This place was a nightmare. The rooms were too bright and noisy, the AC was broken, and the kitchen was filthy. The sugar and coffee were infested with bugs and ants, and the utensils were dirty. The host was rude and greedy. She insulted other guests, refused to provide basic condiments like salt/pepper, and tried to charge us double for cab rides. This was the worst part of our Bali trip. We regret choosing this Airbnb. 😡
Wir haben uns aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen für diese Unterkunft entschieden. Leider war sie uns viel zu weit vom Zentrum entfernt. So mussten wir jeden Tag die Hauptstraße fahren wo wirklich SEHR viel Verkehr herrscht. Es gab nie Poolhandtücher oder auch so Handtücher zum Wechseln. Anna, die sich um alles kümmert war aber nett. Wir konnten uns direkt einen Roller mieten und sie hat sich um unsere Wäsche gekümmert. Der Pool ist renovierungsbedürftig. Leider hat es morgens geregnet und das Wasser ist zur Tür reingeflossen. Generell hat uns Uluwatu nicht so gut gefallen. Und die Unterkunft war einfach zu sehr im inneren. Wir würden hier nicht nochmals herkommen.
The host was lovely; however, the room was somewhat dirty, with some bugs found in the sheets and on the walls. The door didn't close completely on the sides, making it easy for insects to enter the room. This also limited privacy. Additionally, the check-in process was confusing. The location is a bit far from the main areas you might want to visit, and privacy was not ideal. Overall, it was still a good stay, but these are some things to be aware of
The bed was comfortable, and everything was beautiful, but there was a significant issue with black and yellow millipedes crawling throughout the property, which was quite unsettling. For those with insect phobias, this could be a significant deterrent. Discovering at least 30 upon arrival was certainly alarming. Although Anna and Tutik initially seemed dismissive to my phobia, they promptly relocated me to a different room once they understood the severity of the situation, for which I am grateful. Despite this setback, the villa itself was stunning. Unfortunately, due to the presence of millipedes, I couldn't fully enjoy the amenities like the pool, leading me to spend most of the night confined to my room under the mosquito net. Consequently, I opted to check out earlier than planned, departing very early the next day.
L’alloggio molto bello esteticamente e d’impatto, ben arredato e fornito. L’host e i suoi collaboratori sono molto disponibili e consigliamo le colazioni fatte da loro. Gli spazi in comune sono molto belli purtroppo però, essendo condivisi rischiavano di essere rumorosi perché le stanze erano aperte e poco isolate, perciò entravano luce e rumori esterni. La struttura nel complesso è ben organizzata e fornita, unica pecca la zona è a 20 minuti di taxi dalle zone più animate

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem Apartment. Alles entsprach der Beschreibung. Vielen Dank an Anna, die sich super um alles gekümmert hat.
We enjoyed our stay at Jairo’s even there were some issues with the lights on the first night. The team was quick to respond and got it fixed the following day. The staff are also super friendly and I would definitely recommend Karma House! :)
The place is really great. It was a really short stay for me, but the place is really clean and easy to find. Not that close to the Uluwatu's viral places if you're trying to go to those places tho! but all is amazing.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à la Karma House ! Mention spéciale pour la piscine qui est très agréable avec les bains de soleil tout autour et l'espace salon qui est aussi très sympa pour se poser le soir évitant d'être enfermée dans sa chambre si tu ne souhaites pas sortir sur Uluwatu. Il est un petit peu excentré d'Uluwatu, il faut mieux marcher sur l'artère principal pour utiliser l'appli Grab sinon ils ne viennent pas forcément. Merci pour ce séjour :)
很愉快的住宿体验，前台接待的姐姐很热情，帮我们预定附近网红餐厅的早餐；整套房源虽然在一条小巷子里，但进去别有洞天，房间在泳池边很整洁，第一次体验露天淋浴；但户外的桌子很多小虫子无法避免。 整体属于一个花小钱装大杯，泳池拍照很漂亮，中国人不骗中国人 ：）
I only stayed for 2 nights, but it was great! The accommodation is beautifully tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the streets, and Anna is one of the kindest people I’ve met in Bali. The place was very clean. I will definitely come back! Thank you for everything.

Really loved the place, Open house with the sharing kitchen living room, very well decorated. We enjoyed the pool and the room. Staff girls are really sweet and helpful! Very nice place if you want to stay at Uluwatu! Thank you I recommend without any hesitation
Hatte eine großartige Zeit! Die Unterkunft war sauber, gut ausgestattet und genauso wie beschrieben. Die Lage war top, und der Gastgeber super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kann ich absolut weiterempfehlen! 😊
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen aber man kommt in wenigen Minuten mit Grab oder gojek überall hin. Super ästhetische Unterkunft und Anna war sehr freundlich und herzlich zu uns. Wir würden noch mal kommen.

Myself and my partner had beautiful stay at Tutiks place. Tutik could not of been more accommodating towards us with our late flight arrival. Tutik is an amazing host and we are so thankful for all the recommendations and beautiful Anna for the morning coffee chats. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Uluwatu and will definitely be back! You dont have to worry about organising a scooter/taxis as she has it all available. 10/10 worth the stay.

Rundum perfekt! Die Unterkunft ist wirklich ein Traum. Sauber, man hat alles was es braucht, es ist sehr ruhig und dennoch ist man mit dem Roller schnell an den schönsten Stränden und Orten. Außerdem muss man Tutik und Anna noch erwähnen. Beide empfangen die Gäste mit offenen Armen, sind stets erreichbar und haben die besten Tipps für Unternehmungen, Restaurants, Strände und helfen bei sämtlichen Problemen. Für uns war es der perfekte Einstieg auf Bali und wir würden immer wieder kommen.
We loved our stay here so much! It is exactly as described and seen on the pictures. It’s a lovely Hotel, Tutik is great, very welcoming and friendly, the rooms are cozy and comfortable. The communal pool is clean and as beautiful as on the pictures, a great place to relax. Our room was in a small house with the bathroom in the back outside. Everything is clean and comfortable. The location is quietly located, but by scooter you can easily get to several restaurants. Tutik gave us many great recommendations before we even arrived. We also rented scooters to explore the beaches and temples near by. The team that work here are kind and helpful and always available. We felt welcome here. We highly recommend this place and would come back any time!
The house is really nice, Tutik is the soul of the house always responsive and very thoughtful with the guests, our room was very clean as all the house and pool area. Anna was also friendly and always smiling We love it..

Die Unterkunft war wirklich wunderbar ! Wir wurden super entspannt empfangen und konnten auch trotz zu früher Ankunft in unser Zimmer einziehen. Wir bekamen jeden Morgen Tee oder Kaffer angeboten von den beiden Gastgeberinnen. Sie waren wirklich unheimlich freundlich und lustig und haben natürlich nur weil wir es wollten sehr viel mit uns gequatscht und gelacht. Wir hatten das kleine Zimmer links neben der Küche mit dem Aussenbad und alles hat für uns gepasst. Immer frische Handtücher, Badezimmer immer sauber und jeden Tag Zimmerservice. Die Küche konnte mal draußen selbst mitbenutzen, war wirklich sehr praktisch war zudem gab es für relativ korrekte Preise Getränke die man zum Ende des Aufenthalts zahlen konnte. Genau wie Massagen vor Ort …. Alles wurde für einen erledigt, man musste nur etwas sagen 🙏🙏😍 Scooter stand auch sofort vor der Tür bereit als wir ankamen. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit einem super Standort und einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Danke
Wir haben uns auf Anhieb wohlgefühlt. Tutik hat sich um alles gekümmert und war für Fragen stets gut zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft ist wunderbar. Sie liegt ruhig genug, auch wenn die Umgebung sehr belebt ist. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen

Superbe chambre avec salle de bain extérieure dans un logement de 5 chambres avec une piscine partagée. Logement très cosy et accueillant. Belle décoration et prestations de qualité. Hote aux petits soins et de bons conseils. À proximité des belles plages du sud de la péninsule de Bukit. Je recommande vivement ce logement.
Tutik is amazing. If you're looking for a warm welcome to Bali, this is it. Coffee immediately upon arrival and scooter was there and ready. Arranged breakfast for us as well, tons of local recommendations sent via pdf before our arrival. Gorgeous outdoor shower, super clean room with beautiful vaulted ceilings. Away from main road, very quiet and private but close to so much. Loved it!!! Thanks Tutik.

We only stayed one night, yet we had a very positive experience. Very nice pool and rooms. Convenient check-in and they let us store the bags there before our check-in. They also arranged with transportation to the ferry terminal. Kind and responsive host.
Very much recommended! The location is perfect as it is very central (whichever direction you drive in Uluwatu), and it is just the right distance away from the busy road, so there is no noise in the accommodation. The room is spacious, and the common area is cozy for just chilling. Everything felt very clean and nice. Anna and Tutik are fun hosts, and we had some good laughs with them. We stayed there for 3 nights and would have extended if it wasn't fully booked.
We absolutely LOVED our stay at Karma Villa! Tutik and Anna made us feel so welcome and made sure we were well taken care of! The room was gorgeous, beds super comfy, bathroom so beautiful and pool area, such a good vibe! We ordered breakfast in to the villa each morning through Tutik (highly recommend) so we could eat by the pool and also had a wonderful massage therapist come to our unit (2-days in a row) which was fantastic. Anna also coordinated a driver for us (Thank you Putu!) so we could go to Jimbaran Beach for dinner (recommend eating at Bali Sea Beach House), Melasti Beach, and Single Fin for sunset. This was our first accomodation for the start of our Bali trip, and it was incredible! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. HIGHLY recommend staying here and if we come back to Bali, we will definitely come back to this location!! Thanks again Anna, Tutik and Putu. 💖
Such a beautiful space with a beautiful outdoor bathroom. There is an energy that makes this place feel like home. I was sad to leave and couldn’t extend my stay because they were fully booked. Very welcoming and friendly staff who were also very helpful with information and places to eat and visit. I would definitely come back here

Merci pour ces 3 jours. Tutik et Anna sont tellement gentils et bienveillants. Le dernier jour j’ai attrapé le fameux Bali Belly, j’ai demandé un peu d’aide et ils m’ont fourni cela avec plaisir. Mon vol étant tard dans la soirée. Ils m’ont laissé me reposer encore dans le salon soigneusement choyé après l’heure de checkout initial. Merci pour tout.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die offene Küche und Wohnzimmer waren sehr schön. Die Unterkunft ist leicht erreichbar mit dem Taxi oder Roller und zu Fuß waren auch mehrere Frühstückslokale und Restaurants erreichbar. Würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Anna es estupenda, hace que la estancia sea como en casa! Está ubicado en medio de la península de bukit, también te alquilan moto, lo que hace fácil el desplazamiento por toda la península, cerca a 1 o 2 min en moto o 10 andando, se encuentra una gran variedad gastronómica. La piscina es más bonita que en las fotos y poder bañarse después de un día largo es maravilloso, son pocas habitaciones por lo que se hace íntimo. Genial todo.
Gorgeous villa. Hilarious and unbelievably friendly staff. Anna was our guide, our comedian and arranged everything we needed. 11/10. Beautiful nature bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble, let us hang around long after check out and even use a scooter for free to head down the road to retrieve a lost bank card. Amazing hospitality

Die Unterkunft ist ein Schmuckstück 😊 Tutik wie auch Anna waren so herzlich und freundlich! Sie haben uns jeden Morgen begrüßt, Tipps gegeben und geholfen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, Klimaanlage funktioniert gut und ist leise. Auch das Badezimmer ist so schön und sauber! Ich habe immer bisschen Sorge vor Krabbeltieren oder geckos 🙈 wir waren 3 Nächte dort und die einzigen Tiere die mir im Bad begegnet sind waren Ameisen und Raupen 👍🏼😊 Die Zimmer wie auch der Pool und die Lobby sind sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen!!! Vielen Dank an Tutik und Anna für den schönen Aufenthalt 😊
I like this accomodation, it’s quiet and the pool is okay. The hosts are very nice. The towels don’t smell that nice but the bathroom I had was nice it was outdoors

My stay here was absolutely wonderful!! The pool was amazing, the rooms were so clean and the bed was very comfortable. On top of everything the host were amazing, especially Anna she made our stay. She provided scooters for us when needed and even arranged her husband to to drive us to our red eye flight. Would absolutely love to come back

Price of the stay was fantastic, the hosts were very helpful and even arranged breakfast and well priced taxi. They were always on hand to assist and couldnt recommend this place anymore, really enjoyed our stay.

Tutik's villas are cozy and secluded. Tutik is very responsive, and make sure to let him know when you're arriving so they can prepare a welcome drink. The hospitality from Ibu Anna, who co-manages with Tutik, was truly heartwarming. I ended up with an upset stomach, and Ibu Anna quickly ran out to get some bubur (rice porridge) for me. She has a warm, kind, assertive, and welcoming personality. I can see why she is so beloved by her cucu (grandchildren). The place is great, the common areas are spacious but decorated with a style that feels like home. The pools water felt warm and refreshing simultaneously. Loved the outdoor shower!
I love the villa architecture : the openess, greenery, the layout…everything is beautiful. I found it easy to feel like home. I really enjoyed spending the evening at the villa. Tutik and Anna are super great host :) They are attentive and super helpful. Definetely will come back!
Although we only stayed for one night we wish we had been there longer. Tutik & Anna were so friendly and welcoming. The space is really lovely & peaceful. We also received detailed recommendations of places to eat & things to see in the area. It’s located in the centre of Uluwatu which made it easy to get to all areas on our scooter. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore Uluwatu for a few days :)

I'm very happy I booked here on our first stay in Bali. First of all, the hosts were awesome! They welcomed us, treated us not just like guests but friends/family and we really felt taken care, it was just like home. The place was 100% BEAUTIFUL! The pool was so inviting, always clean and well-maintained. The room looks exactly like in the photos and even better in person. They also has bike rentals which was very helpful. We also had a massage and they gave us place/activities recommendations. Location is great, it was between Jimbaran and Uluwatu--super easy to move around! I will definitely go back to this place! Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful time during our first time in Bali!

Anna und Tutik sind zwei Gastgeberinnen, wie man es sich wünscht! Fürsorgevoll, extrem hilfsbereit und dazu noch sehr lebensfroh. Wir hatten eine super angenehme und lustige Zeit mit den beiden. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich gleich wie zuhause. Man kann durch das gemeinsame Nutzen der Unterkunft schnell mit den anderen Gästen in Kontakt treten. Der Service, das Frühstück und allgemein die Kommunikation hätten nicht besser sein können. Wir sind sehr ungerne abgereist, es war eine unvergessliche Zeit! Danke :)

sehr ruhiges komfortable und kleines AirBnb. Die Hosts Anna und Tutik kümmern sich sehr aufmerksam um die Gäste, jeder Wunsch wird prompt erfüllt. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause.
Geweldig verblijf. Tutik & Ana zijn erg vriendelijk en hebben ook leuke lunchrooms en restaurants doorgestuurd in de buurt. De slaapkamer is erg ruim en een mooie open badkamer. Heb genoten van de rust. Dit verblijf is zeker aan te raden.

our stay in karma house ungasan was a very nice experience:) Anna the housekeeper is a gem, super cute and very helpful with any questions ! the owner of the airbnb reacted super quickly to our scooter request and went out of his way to organize a bigger more powerful scooter it took only a few hours ...very impressive ! the airbnb is very good located close to the most beautiful beaches ...I can only recommend melasti beach super pretty ...
Beautifully designed room right by the small pool. We enjoyed hanging out on the premises. Ana was a caring and very friendly housekeeper and took good care of all our needs. You can prepare your own breakfast in the kitchen or just make tea. Plenty of food options supermarkets etc. in walking distance. To get to beaches you will need a scooter . Can really recommend Jairos place.
Eine der Unterkünfte auf Bali, bei der alles zu 100 % gepasst hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war sauber, die Handtücher haben wundervoll geduftet und der Service war top. Die Mitarbeiterin Anna ist ein gute Seele und hat uns immer mit Tipps, Kaffee und frischer Papaya versorgt. Die Lage bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt: Frühstück ist fußläufig zu erreichen und alle umliegenden Strände in max. 15 Minuten mit dem Roller. Wir würden definitiv wieder buchen.
This was by far one of the nicest places we’ve been to! Everything was perfect. We really liked the cozy atmosphere. The staff and especially Anna was always taking care of everything and were just so friendly! We 100% recommend the place to anyone, especially friends or couples. We do recommend to rent a scooter to get to the main spots and beaches in Uluwatu.
Wir haben hier unsere Reise auf Bali gestartet Es ist eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft mit einem unglaublich freundlichen Personal, die wir jetzt schon sehr vermissen! Wir haben sehr viele Tipps erhalten für unsere weitere Reise Wir waren 2 Nächte dort, wären im Nachhinein aber noch mindestens eine Nacht länger geblieben. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und es ist dort auch sehr ruhig, dennoch kann man mit dem Roller (den man ohne Probleme im Karma House ausleihen kann) in 1-2 Minuten gute Restaurants erreichen (Tipps erhaltet ihr genügend von Jaïro) Wir würden es jedem weiterempfehlen
Fantastic little sanctuary in the busy hubbub of Uluwatu. The Karma House has super friendly staff, great amenities. The room and the pool were fantastic, as was the public relax area. And my God the outdoor shower 😍 10/10 would book again

Beautiful accommodation, ideal base for exploring Uluwatu and whole peninsula. Pool very nice, surrounded by greenery, quite clean, atmospheric. You can take a bath at any time of the day! Room very clean, towels fragrant. Breakfasts very tasty! At the disposal of guests kitchen, living room with large space, a few sun loungers/puffs by the pool. The staff is really helpful. Perfect communication both with Jairo and manager. We are delighted with our stay and we do recommend this place!
We loved it. Very beautiful, clean, lovely housekeeping and quiet at (day and) night. Didn’t had any mosquitos. It’s close to some good restaurants and our favorite USpar. To get to the beaches and the main area it’s about a 15 minutes drive. Would definitely go there again. Thank you a lot.

Nous avons passé 2 jours merveilleux à la Karma House, la manager est aux petits soins pour que tout soit facile. La maison est cosy au possible, la chambre très confortable avec la salle de bain extérieur. C’est calme. Il faut par contre un scooter à tout prix mais la manager nous en a mis un à disposition pour un prix très correct ! Le propriétaire nous avait recommandé plein de choses qui ont été de vrais bons plans. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir, merci pour cet instant !!

Very stylish and comfortable villa. This is a quiet place, located near various cafes and markets. Lovely pool, fast internet, everything you need for cooking, everything is clean. Jero is a very welcoming and friendly host. Takes care of your comfort. We had a late check out, Jero was very helpful and we could leave things in the villa. It was a great time. Will definitely be back here again! Recommend!

I stayed at Jero Gede's place for a couple of days and loved it. The caretakers really welcoming and nice; they made me feel at home from the moment I arrived! The rooms are spotless, the common area is really nice and the breakfast was awesome :) Thank you!
The villa Ganesh was just perfect, one of my greatest stay in Bali. Amazing super friendly host and the surprise dog Vera. We felt in love with this villa and will book that definitely again. If you need a super place to stay, thats the place to be definitely! See you soon

Jero is a great host. My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay at the villa. We made friends with Jero and his lovely dog Vera. The place is conveniently located in the south point of bali and is just a 20 min scooter ride from most popular spots on the island

Excellent host and an amazing villa! Gede is an awesome guy, very friendly and accommodating. Motor bikes available at the villa, full kitchen, awesome rooms, big pool, and super clean. Drinking water and wifi were a bonus! Would highly recommend staying here if you plan to stay on the south part of the island. Excellent location close to many beaches.
