Exploring Relax on Waterfront property in Villa Laksmana left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Relax on Waterfront property in Villa Laksmana was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Candidasa plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Relax on Waterfront property in Villa Laksmana painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
Good location close to main restaurants yet peaceful. Taman and Wayan were excellent hosts. However, older villa with a few minor maintenance issues, could do with a refresh given the price point.
We had a lovely stay. John was incredibly responsive and proving proactive info before we arrived. The accommodation is a superb location with walking distance. A lovely spot and great accommodation. A little bit dated in places but still perfectly fine. Would defo recommend.
After a few minor hiccups Our stay was lovely. The views. The “ moka” Warung for breakfast . We walked into most of the resorts close by and had a meal. Of course “ Vincent’s” is always the best . We organised transport did a bit of sightseeing Was a lovely stay 😊
we had, for two weeks, 'a five star stay' in Villa Laksmana. The villa has 'Balinese charme' , comfortable for our occupancy : partly two persons, partly four persons. ( six would have made it crowded) The swimming pool is 'top' : large, deep ,clean, perfect ! And the local staff Taman and Wayan and their other helpers create the best for their guests in all aspects. We liked the location of the villa, close by lots of restaurants - various experiences, prices and quality, we loved it - and the little village Candidasa offers most needed basic facilities in walking distance.
We had great time at laksmana! Wayan and Taman are very good, easy to communicate and helped me arrange my holiday better. My family was super happy with the three days' stay! Definitely I will choose Warren’s villa again or recommend it to friends! Thank u for having us!
Traditionele villa met een prachtige ruime tuin met een groot zwembad. Aangenaam temperatuur van het water. De ligbedden en parasols zijn heerlijk! Genieten in een niet te drukke Candidasa met genoeg restaurants en warungs.
Logement de qualité avec Taman sur place à l’écoute et réactif. À noter que la troisième chambre n’est pas au niveau des deux autres avec 2 lits simples qu’on ne peut pas coller et rien pour empêcher la lumière du jour de pénétrer dans la chambre.
We had a great stay here. super tranquile, beachfront and super easy access (from the main road). Many activities can be done (with kids) around this area. Though the kitchen is rather small, we were able to prep food as we expected. Some minor maintenance (or upgrade) will be more appreciated definitely. Overall experience is good.
Good place to unwind, has variety of meal options near the villa as well as along the main road. Not much to do nearby but it’s about an hours drive to the more touristy spots if you want to travel out

We recently spent a week at Villa Laksmana. The villa was well cared for and the pool was wonderfully refreshing every day. The staff was attentive and thorough. I would highly recommend using Ketut as your driver while you are there. He guided us on a couple of wonderful day trips, including Mount Lampuyang, Virgin Beach and river rafting. We elected to take a side trip to Gili Air for a couple of nights and it was absolutely worth it! Thank you for a lovely stay!
The best part of this house is the outdoor space. The pool is huge and the greenery is quite lovely. The inside of the house is as listed, but could use updates, especially in the bathrooms. There is a partial ocean view from the outdoors, and you can definitely hear the waves crash. The caretakers, Wayan and Taman, are also very helpful and attentive. Vincent's--the best restaurant in Candidasa--is very close, and we went twice. The local coffee shop that also serves breakfast is nice and delivers to the villa. You should know that Candidasa and the surrounding areas do not have nice beaches. There is some nice snorkeling right in front of the house, but only in the morning, and you have to climb down a ladder to get there. There is a "white sand beach" about 15 minutes away, but it, unfortunately, it is not nice anymore (we were there 10 years ago and it was). Overall, this can make a nice base for the surrounding areas if you want to do some touring and enjoy the quiet town of Candidasa.
Un excellent séjour ❤️🌴☀️ La villa est pleine de charme dans un espace vraiment préservé (avec 3 autres villas similaires) donc très au calme. La mer (visible depuis la villa) est accessible facilement à pied (quelques mètres seulement). Ce n’est pas la plus jolie plage de Bali mais on peut se baigner et y voir quelques coraux 🪸 Plusieurs restaurants/warungs, très abordables, sont accessibles facilement à pied, et certains (ex Moka Warung) proposent la livraison à domicile ce qui est top 👍 La piscine est vraiment grande et très agréable 🏊🏻 Taman et son équipe sont très sympathiques et réactifs. Bref, un vrai bonheur 😊
We, a family of 4 adults, had a great place at Laksmana villa. The location right at the seaside is spectacular, and the villa is furnished tastefully to an exceptionally high standard. The pool is great to cool off in and large enough for a decent swim. Taman, the manager, was always at hand and had loads of local recommendations. He was great with arranging transport and made sure we were happy with everything. There are a few excellent restaurants within walkable distance. Can't recoomend this highly enough, a really great place for a Bali holiday! Matt & family

Grande Villa proche de la mer avec une immense piscine et transats. Beaucoup de restaurants proche. Bien situé pour visiter l est de l île. Personnel accueillant et à nos soins.
This was definitely the best Villa we stayed in while in Bali. Actually, this is the best place we have EVER stayed. Perfect spot for our family of 5--parents and 3 grown children ages 25, 23, and 20. The house was clean and beautiful and well set-up. The pool....THE POOL will be in my daydreams for the rest of my life.That pool is private, huge and amazing. Taman and Wayan were easy to find at all times, via text and they always seemed to be close by, cleaning one of the villas or landscaping nearby. Warren was away at the time but Taman arranged our transport from Ubud, our boat ride with a local fisherman to the Blue Lagoon for snorkeling, and our ride back to Denpasar airport. It was nice to stay in a real house as opposed to a hotel, as there were things like 3 shelves of books available to read by the lovely pool, bug spray and sunscreen if needed, a First Aid kit, things that you just don't have in a hotel. We had a lot of fun exploring the town, great restaurants. Loved it!
Beautiful and comfortable villa, clean throughout. The villa was quite quiet, was expecting to hear the roosters in the morning but didn't. Within easy walking distance of restaurants and a supermarket.
Lovely Villa with a big pool, traditional touches and plenty of space for the family. Taman and villa staff were very welcoming and helpful, Taman gave us great suggestions for outings and was happy to assist with organising. Great restaurants nearby including cafe/restaurant only a minute away with nice coffee and breakfasts.

Wie verbrachten 5 Nächte als Familie in dieser Villa mit grossem Privatpool. Es ist ein Haus von mehreren. Taman, der Verwalter und seine Leute sind sehr aufmerksam und erledigen alle Wünsche wir Entsorgen von Müll, Reinigung, Ersatz der Trinkwasserflaschen, … Der Standard ist gehoben. Das Meer ist vorbei an 2 anderen Häusern zugänglich, wobei der kleine Strand, des Nachbar-Hotels genutzt werden muss. Alles für einen entspannten Aufenthalt ist vorhanden. So auch Ausrüstung zum Schnorcheln, was direkt am Meer möglich ist. Allerdings sieht man auf einer Schnorcheltour zB zur Blue Lagoon viel mehr. Taman hilft auch bei der Organisation solcher Ausflüge. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen!
Wir waren als 5er Freundesgruppe in der Villa und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Die Villa und der Pool sind wie auf den Bildern. Das Meer liegt direkt hinter der nächsten Villa, sodass man a) schnell am (kleinen) Strand ist und b) den Sonnenuntergang bewundern kann. Taman war super nett und jederzeit erreichbar, er hat uns wirklich super bei der An- und Abreise und auch bei jedem weiteren Punkt (Wäsche, Wasser nachfüllen, Internet checken, Arzt rufen, Postkarten versenden) unterstützt. Wir haben uns sehr aufgehoben gefühlt und hatten eine super Zeit!
We had a wonderful stay. Taman was kind enough to meet us at 1:30am to check us in after our flight was delayed and even offered to get us food! Everything we could have needed was catered for. Taman organised a boat trip for us to go snorkelling and visit white beach as well as organised drivers for us to visit some nearby temples. The area is reasonably quiet but there are some fabulous restaurants nearby and it was very easy to get food delivered too.
Sehr schöne Villa mit einem super schönen großen Pool. Die Villa liegt optimal in Reichweite einiger guter Restaurants und ist guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Die Villa hat einen Charme mit ihrem Balinesischen Baustiel und war sehr sauber. - ein paar Erneuerungen würden aber dem Ambiente gut tun. Die Gastheber und das gesamte Personal vor Ort war absolut hilfsbereit und sehr nett. Perfekt für ein paar Tage Entspannung
Nice villa in a beautiful location with views on the ocean and a big pool for relaxing. Taman and Wayan, the staff on site, were very helpful with tips and bookings. There are some restaurants within easy walking distance for those without a car or scooter. Warren was quite responsive and provided clear instructions along the way.
Nous avons adoré le séjour chez Warren. Nous cherchions un endroit tranquille après des jours d'excursions dans plusieurs villes de Bali. Taman et Wayan étaient super disponibles. L'endroit était magnifique et proche de plusieurs restaurants, et la piscine était super grande: un plus avec les enfants.

Die Zeit in der Villa war sehr schön. Besonders liebevoll wurden wir von Taman und Wayan betreut. Aber auch all die vielen fleißigen Helfer vor Ort, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten auch einen sensationellen Fahrer...ein rundum Wohlfühlpaket. Und! aufgrund eines kleines Mißgeschick benötigten wir einen Arzt. Uns wurde sofort und unkompliziert geholfen Wir können diese Unterkunft besten Gewissens empfehlen, vor allem, wenn man Ruhe und Erholung sucht
Our stay at Villa Laksmana was just perfect !! The villa is so close to some lovely restaurants and the local supermarket, yet it is so quiet and private. The pool is huge with sun lounges and an outdoor dining area surrounded by lush gardens .... which are all beautifully maintained. But what made our stay really exceptional was the villa staff......Taman and Wayan were amazing!!! Nothing was too much trouble for them.....dining suggestions, arranging private poolside massages, boat trips, shopping errands and the cleanliness of the property is absolutely 5*****. They also arranged a driver Ketut for some day trips ......a really nice man, and a safe driver as well, who we highly recommend. Thank you sooo much Team Laksmana...We will definitely be back for another amazing stay.

Beyond happy with our stay at this villa. Peaceful, private, good location, comfy beds, good size bedrooms, large and comfy communal areas and the friendliest most accommodating ground team. The pool makes the villa, it is HUGE and surrounded by trees and plants and a huge paved area, comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas. There are villas on the same complex that are ocean front but if I returned I would book this one again, you can still see and hear the ocean. Taman and the rest of the team are super friendly, welcoming and happy to help with anything you need, always on hand or just to say hello. As for Candidasa and the NE of Bali, it reminds me of the "old Bali" - less traffic, friendly locals and less tourists. Would recommend!
We had a great stay in Candidasa at Warren's place. Well located to visit east Bali, close to the beach, and with a great private swimming pool. Highly recommended.
My family and I had an amazing stay at the villa. Beautiful villa with a huge pool, nice layout for a family, walking distance from restaurants, etc. Taman, Wahan, and the rest of the team have been absolutely amazing during our entire stay and helped us a lot arranging our daily activities! Nous avons passé 5 nuits incroyables dans ce logement avec nos amis. L’hôte a été d’une grande réactivité et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos besoins. Mention spéciale à Taman, qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable par sa gentillesse, son sourire et sa disponibilité. Le personnel dans son ensemble était exceptionnel. L’endroit est un véritable havre de paix, si agréable que nous aurions pu y rester vivre. Merci pour cette belle expérience. Nous avons acheter et laisser une passoire pour les amateur de riz.
This villa is in a great spot! So close to the water, you can snorkel right outside the villa or take a short boat to the blue lagoon. Restaurants and shopping all within a 5-10 minute walk (we even saw monkeys)! We will definitely stay again when back in the area.
Nice place to stay
This is a private, beautiful living space, a few feet from the ocean, and away from the crowded, tourist-packed part of Bali. The villa lives up completely to its presentation on its AirBnB pages. It looks in person like it looks in its photos. You have a very private sense of the Bali calm and beauty, while taking care of every need, from swimming pool, to well outfitted kitchen. While out of the bustle, you can arrange a very affordable van and driver/guide to go all over Bali. Candisdasa is about 1.5 hours from the airport. A gent named Tamun is in charge of the local care of the facilities. He actually stayed up until midnight to meet us at check in and arrived at 3:30 AM on our last day as we left for an early flight. Those actions are a pretty good hint of his sense of care for guests. Decent to upscale restaurants and clubs are an easy walking distance. or a short taxi away. Tamun will make airport or touring travel easy. Warren the owner really cares about his guests
Everything was really good. The location of the villa at the ocean and the big pool are wonderful. Rooms are fine as well and Taman and his team were really friendly!

Wir haben uns in der Villa sofort super wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtetet. Der Pool ist klasse, schön warm und unsere Kinder haben ihn geliebt. Es gab praktische Dinge wie Moskitonetze, Mineralwasser, frische Handtücher... Ein absoluter Pluspunkt ist außerdem die Unterstützung von Taman und Wayan. Die Fahrer, Bootsführer und Tipps (bester Schokokuchen) waren allesamt klasse. Wir haben die Atmosphäre sehr genossen und hätten im Nachhinein dort länger als 5 Nächte eingeplant. Unser Highlight neben der Unterkunft waren ein Bootsausflug (vermittelt von Taman), der Virgin Beach und das Oketo Café, das von einem schweizerisch-balinesischen Paar geführt wird.
Our stay at Laksmana Villa was the best holiday we have ever had! The location in Candidasa, a quiet calm village atmosphere with direct access to the waterfront was perfect! If you want to get away from jam packed tourism this is the place to go. The villa was just set back from two in front & had a feeling of privacy & calm. It also has the biggest pool of the set of 4 villas. It has the beautiful older style Balinese architecture which we love surrounded by tropical gardens & frangipani trees. Our villa managers Taman & Wayan were delightful! With beaming smiles made every holiday activity happen with ease. We had day trips snorkeling in the beautiful Blue lagoon & Virgin Beach leaving from a boat right out the front. Sunset yoga at the villa, hired mountain bikes to explore, massages & nails manicured without the need to go anywhere. There is wonderful restaurants nearby, our favourites were “Dasa by the Sea”, around the corner & “Candi Moka” at the end of the driveway. A must stay
We had a fabulous stay at Villa Laksmana. Wayan and Taman were amazing and went out of their way to assist us. On the first day, Wayan gave me a ride to the shops and Taman contacted me after his day was done as my parents had been delayed waiting for the luggage at the airport and wanted to check in. Their attention to detail was impecable and their kindness beautiful, they made us feel like at home. The set up of the Villa is great. It is not a huge space but you are practically living outside which is ideal with that kind of weather. We had all the meals in the table outside which is undercover and very pleasant. Water was provided and we were able to do laundry and had the most amazing massages in the villa. It was handy to be able to order meals from the nearby cafe up the road (Moka) as they deliver for free. The resort next door, which is accessible from the seafront was also great to have some easy meals in. The villa is located in a convenient spot. Close to supermarket etc
Really loved our stay here. Really nice and quiet, a beautiful Villa and huge pool ! Great food available for delivery and Vincent's a 5min walk away was a real surprise, food as good as anywhere in the world. Taman the host is a good man, very helpful and friendly. Nous avons passé 5 jours chez Warren, la maison correspond complètement au descriptif. Taman et Wayam étaient présents et discrets, ils nous ont parfaitement renseigné. La piscine est magnifique, dommage que le jacuzzi ne fonctionne pas. La plage toute proche pour faire du snorkelling. Les petits déjeuners chez Moka et les repas étaient toujours excellents. Très bon séjour.
Un petit coin de paradis au calme. Tout est conforme aux photos si ce n’est la piscine qui est encore plus grande. Enfin Taman et Wayan sont d’un support inestimable et d’une grande disponibilité pour votre accueil, vos transferts, louer un scooter... et faire de votre séjour un merveilleux moment

La maison proposée par Warren est merveilleuse. C’est un groupement de 4 villas mais les aménagements paysagers de grande qualité permettent une intimité pour tous. La piscine est incroyable 😍. Nous pouvons accéder facilement à pied à de nombreux restaurants très proches, de bonne qualité et à des très bon prix. Taman qui s’occupe des maisons est très gentil et accessible. Il nous a organisé une séance de massage à la villa. Nous recommandons vivement cette superbe maison.
Warren house is a beautiful house hitten in the most green and well kept garden. The house is charming and it has a perfect pool - big and deep enough to actually swim in not only for playing :) Taman, Wayan and the rest of the staff did a perfect job taking care of everything and they helped us with a smile no matter what. The area unfortunately is not one we will to go back to. The traffic is dense, the streets are old and damaged - hard to walk safely on with kids - and there is not a lot to do by foot in the area, which means you have to drive a lot - we tried to hike and do some snorkeling near by but we were not impressed by the opportunities. However, we really needed some time to chill out by the pool and for the kids to have a good and safe base after a long journey, and for that Warren’s house was perfect! Furthermore the ocean view stunning! Thank you!

RELAXING! First time to Candidasa , and Villa Laksmana and wish we'd stayed longer. The Villa was wonderful and well equipped, with an absolutely massive & deep pool. The local hosts, Taman and Wayan were responsive and super helpful. Couldn't have asked for better.
We had a great week, our hosts were amazing, helpful, and knowledgeable. The property was peaceful, everything met our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to our friends and family.
Warren’s villa was absolutely perfect for our family. The kids spent hours (and probably would have stayed the whole time if it was up to them) in the big beautiful pool. The beds were comfy and view 50m from the villa of the sea was stunning. Taman, the manager, was always there for anything you needed help with.
Warren, Taman, and Wayan were phenomenal hosts. The villa is authentic, has an incredible swimming pool, and is just steps from the ocean. The location is stellar and the value is great. Would highly recommend spending your holiday in Candidasa here!
Warren, Taman and Wayan were all helpful and responsive regarding our last minute stay at the villa. We had a great 3 nights, visiting the impressive Virgin Beach, lotus garden and local waterfalls and temples. The nearby Warung provides impressive Balinese and Western food options including delivery to the house for no fee. The pool was deep but great for swimming, and our child enjoyed the smaller pool.
The property was beautiful, clean, with oceanviewand walking distance from restaurants and shops. Taman was helpful and very accommodating. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the property. The swimming pool was warm and huge very nice. Highly recommended for families who wants to relax, be in nature and close to the locals.
Spend a week over the new year period with my family at the villa. It was beautiful and relaxing. The staff are so obliging and helpful. There was nothing we wanted we couldn’t get. I highly recommend this location for relaxing escape you can do as much or as little as you want but set in beautiful gardens, privacy, but help is just a call away Thank you Taman & Wayan for your attentiveness
Warren's place is an absolute gem. It looks even better than the photos, has an excellent, comfortable layout, and is furnished in an elegant style. The villa is also practically on the beach, yet it's also a 5-minute walk to the main road of Candidasa. After leaving the villa my kids asked if we could go back (but we had already booked another place). Highly recommended.
It was a fantastic start of our holiday. We loved the charming vibes of the whole place. Extremely calm & comfortable villa, as well as the neighbourhood. Our daughters loved the pool; we loved the view! Huge THANKS to Taman & Wayan! Congrats, Warren - you have a great team!
For those wanting a quieter location, walkable to a good range of eateries, the Villas location one back from the sea - is ideal. Taman, Wayan, and Warren went above and beyond to help. A beautiful start to our holiday, and if arriving late in the day, transfer times much less onerous than we’d thought

Super séjour ! La maison est top notamment l’extérieur qui est incroyable. La piscine est énorme. L’océan est à 50m à pied. On entend les vagues depuis la Villa. Maison impeccable et linge de lit top ! Staff de la villa très accueillant, très serviable et surtout d’une superbe gentillesse ! Ils sont toujours disponibles pour nous aider ou pour des renseignements. Faut pouvez y aller tranquille vous ne serez pas déçus
We had a lovely time at the Villa. The scenery is beautiful and the service was great. Taman, the manager at the Villa took great care of us. He organized massages at the pool and we could order breakfast through him. It would have been also possible to organize tours or a personal driver. Overall we had a great time and can recommend the villa to anyone who is thinking about coming to Candidasa.
Taman and his team were so amazing! Taman organised a range of fantastic activities so quickly. We had a blast snorkelling the islands and blue lagoon. It was a well oiled machine and it was so relaxing. Would defs come again.

Warren and Heather’s place is beyond amazing! Photos don’t do it justice. Beautiful home and great location- close to water, shopping, and many restaurants. Pool was our favorite feature. We were sad to leave but hope to be back in the future!
We had a great time during our stay at the villa. Location is amazing, beach is nearby and it's really private. The hosts are very kind and helpful and if you want absolute relaxation, then let them handle all activities for you, but you will spend a bit more coin. If you want to be more in control and save a bit of a coin, than there are enough local people who you can bargain with that charge less.... The house was a bit smaller than expected, but it covers everything you need. And because you are spending more time outside than inside, it's not big of a deal. Some parts can use a upgrade though (e.g. shower section). The outside section is wonderful and have enough space to fully relax. Overall impression on our stay is that it's a great place and if you're comfortable with not the most luxurious features a villa can offer than you'll have a great time. The area is really peaceful if you like a more quitte section of Bali. There are lot's of cool things you can do in the area.

Extraordinaire ! Nous étions 2 couples et sommes unanimes cette villa est magnifique, elle a une âme ! La piscine est grandiose ! Super bien entretenue ! De même pour le jardin ( merveilleuse végétation, l’accueil, les conseils , l’entretien de la maison au top! Merciiiiiii à Taman et Wayan! Vue sur la mer, calme++, le chant des oiseaux !Beaucoup de bons petits restaurants juste à côté à faire à pieds! Nous rêvons d’y revenir avec nos familles et de louer les 2 villas.
Villa má obrovský bazén, kde se dá plavat a dovádět celý den. K moři opravdu jen kousek, hned jak se tam objevíte, místní už nabízejí boat trip. Skvělé zázemí a hostitel je nápomocný. Opravdu klid na zemi.
As simple as it sounds, it was just perfect. Everyone helped wherever they could, every wish we had was accepted and quickly handled. We felt like home. Besides being an amazing house itself the staff Taman and Wayan were amazing and always there to help. We loved it so so much and we would love to stay there again at some day. Thanks for making our stay as magical as it was!

vila Laksmana je naprosto úžasná pro rodinu kde jsem se cítil jako doma , prostředí je útulné a vkusně vybavené . Prostředí okolo domu krásné udržované , bazén skvělý na ochlazení , dá se zde strávit celý den lenošením a nemusíte odcházet z vily . Správce vily Taman je velmi pozorný a nápomocen .Děkujeme. byla to naše 3 vila na cestování po Bali a byla ze všech nejlepší . Pokud bych se vracel na Bali jel bych sem pro dobré umístění ostrově , krásná pláž Virgin , skvělé potápění v Blue Lagoon . Doporučuji. Děkujeme rodina Novotní

Great place. Was the highlight of our holiday in Bali. We were able to visit some amazing beaches near by and we even saw a turtle while snorkelling at one of the near by beaches. Lots of great places to racy and drink.
We had an amazing stay at this villa. Taman & Wayan we’re absolutely fantastic & went above & beyond to do every little thing we requested. I can’t imagine a better host. We can’t wait to return one day.
Taman was a great help and readily introduced the place to us and answered our questions from food to activities. He's always around to answer you or contact by wats app. Wayan helped us with laundry. We are always greeted with smiles from them. The villa is clean. The pool is wonderfully warm with enough shade to swim in the afternoons. The beach is just in front with a minute walk with beautiful sunsets. Splendid location. Ketut was a fantastic driver and guide , bringing us to interesting places that customised to our family interest. The kind team made the trip there so memorable.

If you are looking to totally RELAX in a lovely villa in a part of 'real Bali,' cared for by a wonderful, kind and attentive team then look no further!! We spent a glorious eight days/nights here and loved every minute. Villa Laksmana has wonderful, authentic Balinese architecture and a welcoming and open layout. There are nice extra touches like a great choice of books to indulge in while chilling poolside. The pool is wonderful and beautiful and the whole feel is tropical and protected yet it's just a few steps from the sea that is on the edge of a lagoon where you can snorkel and see coral reef fish! There are many local eateries just a wander away and must do's include Tenganan Village and Virgin Beach. Warren was a great host - pro-active and easy to communicate with; Taman and Wayan (the on-site managers) are the best, so kind, genuine and helpful and Ketut was a fantastic driver and lovely man. We also enjoyed a lot of massages at the villa by a trusted and skilled group of ladies. We look forward to returning and hope you enjoy your stay just as much as we did.

The villa is very beautiful. Just keep in mind that it is not oceanfront itself as noted on the title. It is a part of an ocean front complex. It does have some ocean view. Communication is great with the host, and the staff is wonderful. We enjoyed our time there.

Très très belle villa au calme de CandiDasa. La villa est vraiment bien située et la piscine très grande et agréable. Nous avons loué une voiture pour visiter les alentours. Si vous souhaitez aller à Nusa Penida prévoir de partir très tôt. Super séjour que je recommande vivement !

The villa is centrally located to town and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from within short to longer walking distance. The villa is exactly as described. The kitchen is small but had a full size refrigerator and stovetop, bottled water, cooking tools and pans, dish set etc. So that if you did need to cook you'd have everything you want. We used it to prepare coffee and tea plus snacks. The best part is the open living room that spills into the outdoor patio and pool area. Very relaxing. The staff, Taman and Wayan, were available when we needed them and were friendly. And when we didn't need them, left us to our privacy. Taman organized a snorkeling trip for us to blue lagoon which was affordable, and the local boatman provided us with fins and showed up exactly at the time agreed. The blue lagoon was worthwhile in terms of variety of fish and getting out for a little adventure. I feel that the villa rental was all that I had expected and hoped for. And do certainly recommend it to other travelers.
Nice staff, helpful und friendly...thank You. The house has a good position, you do not need any car to go shopping or eating. Candidasa has very good restaurants, which are reachable with a short walk. The pool was big and we have a lot of fun. Thanks and Kind Regards, Anna with family and friends

Warrens place was the highlight of our stay in Bali. The villa was absolutely beautiful and is situated almost directly on the water. Everything was clean and the villa was very comfortable. However, the house care takers, Taman and Wayan and really what made this stay so wonderful. They went out of their way everyday to make sure we had everything we needed by arranging rides, trips, and massages. They gave us tips on where to eat and what to do around the area. I could not have asked for anything better for my stay in Candidasa and I highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting !
We loved our stay here. The pool was fantastic and the house lovely. It had a beautiful, open, Balinese feel and we enjoyed opening all the doors to let the sea breeze in in the afternoon. Taman and Wayan couldn’t do enough to help and were always on hand to help with booking activities or to suggest where to go. Warren was always quick to respond and gave us great tips RE our trip. Great place to stay for a family! We - 2 adults & 4 Teenager- enjoyed every single minute of our stay in Villa Laksmana. Taman was very kind and helpful! War, the driver Taman organized for us, showed us really nice places. I would highly recommend a stay at the villa!
The Villa is gorgeous and it's a calm and relaxing place to go. Some restaurants nearby but if you're looking for a place with tons of things to do you're gonna have to drive nearby. We enjoyed being there where it's nice and quiet, just what we wanted for our last days in Bali.
A fabulous place. Excellent AC in the bedrooms. Kind staff, place was sparkling. We thoroughly enjoyed the villa’s position. It was quiet, we had the pool to ourselves, still close enough to the restaurants and shops.
A truly fantastic calming place away from it all and right next to the sea. Will definitely stay again if we’re over that way.

The villa is lovely and has a fabulous pool. We were a little disappointed that the villa is not actually “waterfront” as there are two villas on the water and this villa is behind them. It is also noted that the pool while for private use is not “private” given the proximity to the footpath to the the two waterfront villas. The on-site hosts Taman and Wayan are very special people that helped to make our stay outstanding, despite the comments above. They made excellent recommendations for dining and transportation and our week in Candidasa was the best yet in Bali. We went snorkelling at Blue Lagoon which has an amazing variety of colourful coral and fish. We also went by boat to Pasir Puri Beach (White Sand or Virgin Beach) a beautiful beach with some great local Warungs. We enjoyed it so much we returned for a second afternoon by car. Car hire is also easy and reasonably priced to visit the beautiful water palace Tirta Gangga and the traditional village Tenganan. We would recommend this villa and Candidasa to other travellers.
They villa was absolutely beautiful. The pool is big and all the windows can open for indoor outdoor living. The WiFi is really fast also! We had wonderful attendants on the premises who helped us as much or as little as we needed. They arranged massages by the pool and a driver to take us to site see. There are a few good places next store and at the end of the driveway to eat but they also all deliver to your villa if you want . I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful villa.

Perfect place to see the authentic Bali. The villa exceeded our expectations as did the hospitality of Tamen and Yann. They took care of everything we needed and helped us sort out trips whilst we were there. Whatever we wanted they were only to happy to help.Would highly recommend this villa to anyone and the hosts made it first class.
My family and I have just spent one of the best weeks of our lives staying at this stunning villa! The villa is beautiful in both design and furnishing and the pool is huge!! The photos on the website are a true representation of the villa - it is hard to find sufficient superlatives for just how gorgeous it is. The icing on the cake has to be the presence of Wayan and Taman - NOTHING is too much trouble for these two lovely people and they genuinely are kindness personified! We cannot wait to re-book and would wholly endorse anybody to visit Villa Laksmana. The Murray Family
we have been there during the earthquake at Lombok and we were really afraid, but Taman and the other staff were so nice and made us feeling as comfortable as they can. They took really care of us and we decided to stay, instead of leaving the area. the villa is really nice, well equipped with a large pool and plenty of books and delightful decoration. perfect place to reset :-)
Beautiful villa, exactly like on the website. A few minutes from the ocean by walking which is very convenient. Plenty of local restaurants in the walking distance. I would recommend to buy local fruits in the area because they taste amazing. I had a full basket of fruits every day. Location of Candidasa is for a more relaxed authentic experience. Great for families.. highly recommend...
The villa was great, we had a wonderful stay! Taman and Wayan are so helpful and take care of everything. We would definitely love to stay there again next time we go to Bali!
