Exploring Rumah Nesta (Villa Duyung) left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Rumah Nesta (Villa Duyung) was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kabupaten Badung plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Rumah Nesta (Villa Duyung) painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
Amazing location and with a little more TLC would be a fabulous house.
Villa Nesta was disappointing. The Vista setting was great but the property is run down and not well maintained. On arrival there was no one to welcome us apart from a maid that spoke very little English. The linen and towels were old and mouldy which for a property of this calibre and cost was totally unacceptable. The first night everyone was itchy in their beds. The headboard in the main bedroom was stained and dirty. Dwi told us that 5 cleaners would be sent the next day to get the property in ship-shape but only 1 arrived to help. Tiles missing all over the pool. Bad Wi-Fi connection. Bad basic service like we had to ask for dog pooh to be removed from lawn (2 dogs on property we weren't told about) and cushions for outdoor furnishings. The place was grubby and overpriced. Would not stay again or recommend . We are regular Airbnb guests and have never experienced such bad service and quality as this. We even received a message from Dwi the day before arriving telling us that we were just renting rooms so to respect the property and not touch the owners stuff..... like we were going to trash the place? At $750 a night we expected far more than this property or the management delivered.
Huset ligger fantastisk, måske det bedste i området. Værelserne er rene og fine og der er faktisk delt op således at der er to boliger. Et med plads til 6 og et med plads til 2. Der er ildmyrer overalt grundet køkkenet på udearealet, så der skal ikke glemmes tabes eller madrester 😉 Desværre er det meget svært kommunikere med de ansatte, som ikke taler engelsk, så al kommunikation skal gå via whatsapp, hvilket er et problem da wifi kun virkede 10 % af tiden. Om natten har man privat Security, men da vi kom hjem nytårsnat kl.00:45 blev porten ikke åbnet og jeg var selv nød til at åbne samt ruske/vække Security vagt som snorksov. Burde få penge retur for Security, wifi og forhåbning om rent tøj alt skal vaskes igen når man kommer hjem. Til trods for det havde vi en god ferie, og de ansatte på stedet virkede søde og imødekommende.
Great property for our family of 4. Spectacular location and views. The staff were great and made us excellent breakfasts! Overall though a fabulous experience and great villa.
Beautiful spot on the cliff near Thomas beach. The staff were very friendly and looked after as very well. Great location and very relaxing. Will be back for sure.

Great place and although we had some challenges in the bathroom, Dewi's a great host who's very responsive and helpful. The staff are also friendly and warm. Would definitely recommend this place!
Everything about the place was perfect besides two things: On-site staff communication and wifi issues. The last 3 days of the villa we didn't have any wifi. Came on for 3 hours then turned off again. None of our mobile data worked at the villa either. Had to ask the staff four times to get someone to come out. They never once came to us to update us on the situation. Just acted like nothing was wrong. Ended up having to go to my friends villa 30 minutes away at 1AM just so I could do work. None of them proposed any potential solutions or work arounds. Also made it quite hard to organise our leave in the morning, none of them offered to help us book a car or anything to the airport. I ended up driving 10 minutes to my gym to get wifi so I could book a car from the villa to the airport. Besides this nothing was wrong, so a bit dissapointed something so simple couldn't be fixed. Would stay again, just be careful staying here if you do remote work.
Beautiful view, great spot, easy to walk to restaurants, staff were so amazing. Not suitable for smaller kids but perfect for us with kids over 7.
The villa is a bit down the main road in the middle of the nature, to get the amazing and unique view and sunset it has! but at the same time just 5 min walking to nice restaurants, shops and pharmacy! The Master room is on the opposite side from kids rooms separated by the Kitchen,dining and living r., these 3 are all outside with just roof no doors to the garden, what makes it more difficult to keep it clean, but still the kitchen, sink and fridge were not cleaned. Unfortunately no speakers for music. Towels should be renew, some are a bit old, broken, but mainly would be nice if they were soft and had nice wash smell also bed sheets. the towels were like drying with cardboards! Also the curtains in the master room I are not black out or similar effect, therefore you get awake with the dawn or take a sleeping mask! Sometimes monkeys invade the house, was quite nice and funny, but the second time they wake us up with a lot of noice, waking on our roof and jumping around trees!

Great view. That made up other weaknesses for me. For someone who expect high quality of service like changing blankets or brand new furniture or facility, this might not be the right place.
Great villa in a spectacular location in Uluwatu! The villa is a bit tired but the location makes up for it.

Great location, can’t beat the view. The villa is clean and welcoming. Ronnie at security makes you feel safe and Wayan was lovely cooking us breakfast each morning. The manager Komang is also very helpful. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Can walk to local beach - 10 min. Just book it.
Loved, loved, loved our stay. Perfect location. Easy to walk to shops, grocery store, beach, restaurants. Wished we stayed longer. Will be back. We had monkeys come on 2 out of the 5 days- thank goodness for Roni. We thought they were funny and our kids loved it. Would have been great to do a cooked dinner at the villa but we left it too late to organise so I suggest pre booking one before you arrive. I could look at the view all day. Just book this villa- you won’t regret it.
Truly the most beautiful property I have stayed at! The pictures do not do it justice. We had a group of 5 stay and there was plenty of room for us. All of the staff were incredibly kind & helpful. We arranged transportation to and from the airport to the airbnb which I would recommend. The grounds keeper stayed at the gate after hours & would help around the property if the monkeys became active. We had breakfast prepared at the house as well which was simple & delicious, and it was nice to be able to have laundry done at the end of the trip. We absolutely loved our stay & would come back in the future! Very convenient location right off the busy main street
The villa is amazing. Right on the clifftop, you can spend your whole day in the pool and on the deck looking at the 180 degree views of surfers and fishermen and planes etc. Close to all the main things in that area of Uluwatu too.

Wow, what a beautiful villa. We arrived to a lovely welcome from Komang, Wayan and Roni. They looked after us in a very non obtrusive way. Omani cooked us the most wonderful dinner on our last night and Wayan babysat our 18mth grandson one night. Photos don’t do the villa justice, it was simply stunning with views to die for. Dewi answered all our questions very quickly. Thankyou for a very easy stay .
This is my second stay, and I will be back for a third. First the house is beautiful, the views stunning and the atmosphere perfect for relaxing and taking in the sea view. second the location is great a few mins walk to bars cafes and 7-8 mins walk to single fins. Third, the team are great responsive and make a great breakfast but also leave you to relax and enjoy the space as you wish.
It’s a solid five stars and more for this stunning villa. From the moment you walk in, you are literally in paradise. What a very special place and I feel super lucky to have found it. Thank you Dewi and team to go above and beyond my expectations. I hope to get back here again one day, missing it already and I only left this morning.
Probably the most scenic location for an AirBnB in Bali. You can spends hours together looking at the sea from any part of the house Except when monkeys make appearances as is common in Uluwatu. The hospitality by Dewi is amazing And to elevate the stay to next level - there's Komang 🙏
This was a dream house for our extended family group of 6. The view is phenomenal and the house just makes you very comfortable. Excellent supporting staff always happy to help and make your stay stress free. Great location in Uluwatu - private yet walkable to great restaurants and shopping. We had an excellent time and would definitely go back.
This cliff top villa in Uluwatu is something special. The setting alone is incredible — perched above the ocean with sweeping views of the coastline and beach that are even more impressive in person than the photos suggest. The villa itself was spotless on arrival and clearly very well maintained throughout our stay. The pool was a standout feature — perfect for relaxing while taking in the view. The host was fantastic, and the onsite team made everything seamless. They were always on hand, super helpful, and genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for better. It’s just a short two-minute walk to Uluwatu’s bars and restaurants, yet still feels private and peaceful. A brilliant stay all round — would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality villa experience in Uluwatu.

We stayed for 9 nights. Above the ocean, the sound of the waves 24/7. Very private, secluded location. Just a short walk from the main road, where all the restaurants and bars/caffee are. If you are lazy, just order in like we did. The house is so relaxing we were like couch potatoes by the pool. Than there is the staff, all of them and the driver Nick that took us from the airport and onward were extremely nice and polite. Couldnt say nicer things about them. If you like peace and quiet come here you wont regret it!

Surprisingly better than pictures ~ felt relaxed as soon as we stepped into the place with the most beautiful staff. Would absolutely come back for another visit.
After reading all of the 5 star reviews about this property my expectations were extremely high and I was not one bit disappointed, this property is amazing. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Roni, walking through that front door to that view, we were all blown away, as previous guests have said, the view is even better then what you see in the photos. I was a little nervous as I had not left my country before but I instantly felt comfortable & as ease, it really is a little sanctuary, so much so we spent a lot of time chilling at the property. The yard is kept immaculately, I loved all the artwork & furnishings, comfy beds, cold aircon. The guest room/living area is way bigger than what it looks in the photos. The pool is beautiful, so deep & photo worthy. Shops/restaurants/surf walking distance, everything else easy enough to grab a gojek. Our favourite thing was Roni, Komeng & Wayan. Seeing their beautiful smiling faces everyday, made our trip.
Ruma nesta is a perfect place for. Family holiday . Close to restaurants, surfing beaches yet private with plenty of space at the villa . We had an incredibly breakfast each morning after surfing . Ronnie helped us get scooters and organised taxis tk the airport . The pool is spectacular as are the views . I highly recommend this house and Dewi was great with communication and directions

We had a fantastic stay! House is close to all the best spots in Uluwatu and in a picture perfect location. Watched sea turtles diving on the reef below. Dewi and villa staff were wonderful and super helpful. Will surely be back when in Uluwatu. Highly recommended.
The villa, surrounding area, pool and view are all fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. Other reviews mentioned that the villa is dated and you can't deny it - but it's still great. The space both within and adjacent to the villa is wonderfully arranged. The pictures on Airbnb don't give justice to the reality. The view from the cliff is simply breathtaking! I wish we could spend more time there. Definitely the best place and area during our whole stay on Bali.

We had a great stay at Dewi's villa. The setting is stunning with an incredible view of the ocean and nearby beach. Staff at the villa were excellent and very accommodating. The location was good - walking distance to some great restaurants and not far from other nearby attractions. The villa is expensive but the views speak for themselves. Dewi also arranged an early check in for us, which was greatly appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend it to others.

Villa była niesamowita z zapierającym dech w piersiach widokiem na ocean i plażę Thomasa, gdzie można było obserwować serferów. Cudowne przestrzenie do siedzenia, leżenia i odpoczynku. Czas spędzany w villi był tak magiczny, że najchętniej byśmy jej nie opuszczali. Komfortowe sypialnie i część wspólna. Przemiłe i uczynne Panie Komang i Wayan, które przygotowywały nam pyszne i kolorowe śniadania i uśmiechnięty Roni dbający o nasze bezpieczeństwo i czystość w ogrodzie. W ogrodzie rosną drzewa z kwiatami Frangipani. Trzeba uważać na małpki, trzeba chować jedzenie, telefon, okulary. Blisko- ok 3 min. spacerem do głównej drogi, wielu sklepów i restauracji. Dziękujemy za wspaniały pobyt i ogromną gościnność🙏🏻.

A fantastic property in a stunning location, much better than the pictures, the view and surroundings are amazing. We loved everything about the property, the pool is huge with views out to the ocean, the garden is large and private. Only a 3-5 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops. So many restaurants to choose from. We recommend to have the ladies cook for you one evening, it was the best meal we had. We would 100% come back to Dewi's place.
We loved our stay at Dewi’s villa, staff were lovely. The villa was as described with stunning views and lovely gardens to hang out in. Very walkable to shops, restaurants, beaches, spa, yoga and more. The road from the villa to the Main Street is only a 3 min walk - it’s a bit rocky and has many pot holes - we were fine with it but you do need a torch at night. The staff cooked yummy breakfast and lunch too. It was a very relaxing stay.
Great place with amazing views, pool fantastic, staff super friendly. You do not want to leave the villa. But if you do, beware of road through the centre, not a nice walk at all.
A highlight of our stay on Bali, this is a beautiful property overlooking the beach and surf of Thomas's Beach. The staff were great, very relaxed and happy to help with whatever we needed. Just a short stroll up the road to the cafes and restaurants of Uluwatu. Spring Spa is a must visit nearby. We were very sad to leave the villa. Would love to go back.

We were so lucky to score 2 nights availability here. The design of the villa and gardens is breathtaking. We made sure to spend most of the time in the pool or on the deck overlooking that incredible view. Walking to Uluwatu surf break and surrounding restaurants was easy.

Wow! What a stunning Villa! Cliffside views of Uluwatu make it a magical place to unwind and relax. The entire team was wonderful and took such great care of us. They were always willing to assist and were extremely kind. There are lots of great things to do close by the Villa, and it is exactly the type of vacation dream home we were looking for. This villa is the best at Uluwatu! Great views great staff and even monkeys. We stayed as a family with 2 kids and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommended and we will be back.
Lovely location and beautiful view. My suggestion would be that the lights are turned on of an evening so you don’t come back to a pitch black villa after dinner and that the blinds are turned down of evening.
This place didn't really have an address in Google map, so u have to search for Suluban Villa and stop at the wooden gate that says No. 7. A walk out to the main Rd Jln LabuanSait is somewhat C shape with unpaved Rd, zero streetlamp at night, requires HP flash light. Outside the main Rd you'll find the infamous Suka Expresso, Mason Restaurant, Artisan cafe and the legendary Spring Spa, all within walking distance. This part of Jln labuansait is the more peaceful area as opposed to the chaotic Jln labuansait where the padang padang beach/Hatch disco is. Overall, I'd recommend this property for it's location albeit the treacherous walk out. But bear in mind it's not kid friendly as the wooden balcony is very low (cliffside) and the pool is so deep even adults find it hard. The host is willing to let us stay Abit longer as no one checks in on the day of our departure. Friendly Host Dewi.
We absolutely loved it, especially the kids enjoyed the pool and the delicious breakfast! Highly recommended for a family with kids who are already a bit older (+4y) due to steep cliff at the property. Beware of the monkeys though who come and visit every 2-3 days and steal everything that isn't inside ;-)
Pictures will never do this spot justice. Absolutely Stunning. Roads down to the house are a little rough but the location and main road nearby is lovely. 10/10 stay.
A truly unforgettable place of calm amongst the now bustling Uluwatu. This villa is in prime position to watch surfers, turtles and manatees from the balcony and enjoy everything including the best restaurants right on your doorstep! The road is bumpy on the way down but large cars handled it fine. The staff are incredibly helpful and left us to our own devices besides breakfast which was perfect. Will only stay here if we ever return.
The staff went above and beyond to take wonderful care of us. We felt warmly welcomed. The assisted with many extras like cooking us amazing local meals when we wanted to stay at the villa. All the outlooks and views are heavenly. The only challenge is very loud music from a local nightclub ‘cliff house’ but everything about the accommodation was wonderful.
Det bedst placerede hus I Uluwatu lige på kanten af klippen. Meget fint anlagte haver og en skøn pool. Og så er der de sødeste mennesker til at hjælpe med alt fra god morgenmad, en enkel frokost eller jage en flok aber væk. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage

Beautiful villa in perfect location to explore the beaches, beach clubs and restaurants of Uluwatu. Komang cooks a delicious breakfast which is a major bonus!
Wow - that view!! An incredible location perched on the cliff at Uluwatu transported us immediately to peace and tranquility. Absolutely stunning. Close to amazing restaurants and small number of shops with plenty more a short drive away. Komeng made our breakfast daily and a few lunches which were delicious- she was very accommodating. It is important to note the hosts warning about this not being suitable for young children given the cliff location. But for adults - amazing. My only flag is the road in, which is very rough - which became an issue for us because we had a lot of rain and it became impassable by foot which meant we had to get a car to take us what would take only 5 mins to walk. Highly recommend this property.

Vi hadde en herlig ferie her! Anbefales på det sterkeste! Vi var 6 stk på tur og villaen passet perfekt for gjengen. Verten var super hyggelig, og personalet var kjempe hjelpsomme med alt vi trengte. Det er alltid ansatte tilstede i villaen så vi følte oss trygge og ivaretatt til alle døgnets tider. Villaen ligger i gangavstand til Thomas Beach og ikoniske Blue Point Beach og en veldig kort kjøretur fra Padang Padang beach. Den er mange gode restauranter i gangavstand. Villaen føles privat, selvom den ligger sentralt til.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est authentique avec une vue à couper le souffle. Elle nous a parue plus grande qu’en photo. Même si la route pour s’y rendre est escarpée et non goudronnée la maison est à 5 min à pied de la rue animée principale d’Uluwata avec pleins de restaurants sympathiques. La suite principale est immense avec une literie excellente, une douche extérieure et une grande baignoire et grand dressing. Le coin enfant est plus simple avec une salle de bain partagée et des chambres légèrement aveugles. Les pièces de vie sont très agréables, les personnel extrêmement sympathique. Il y a pleins d’endroits pour chiller dans le jardin. La piscine est très grande et très profonde avec une partie plage. Nous sommes transportés dans l’océan avec cette maison. Je la recommande fortement

Wow! Such a pleasure to stay at this incredible villa. The views are breathtaking, the villa is a perfect space for 4-6 adults with a great outside entertainment area and pool. So many gorgeous spots to relax and enjoy the view. Restaurants are within walking distance. The staff cleaned every day and were lovely. highly recommend will be back!

Our stay at Dewis Villa was superb! A special shoutout to Ronnie the night watchman. He is super attentive and helpful with access to and from the Villa with the added extra charm of an ear to ear smile day and night. He’s great at chasing away monkeys if they happen to come for a visit. The Villa is overly spacious and the bedrooms are comfortable, bathrooms well equipped and the kitchen/ lounge facilities decked out with all your needs. The pool is HUGE and is the perfect place to perch over to admire the view. The staff are helpful and cook a great lunch when requested. Great value for $. We had multiple massages at the Villa that were easy to organise and super prompt. The villa is also conveniently a few minute walk from the main road and some of ULUS best restaurants. Did I mention the view!? Overall 10/10 and would defiantly stay here again.

What an amazing place, easily the best AirBnB we have stayed at. The location was perfect near great restaurants & bars and walkable to a beautiful beach. The staff onsite were super helpful and cooked us a fantastic breakfast every morning plus arranged massages. The Villa itself was stunning and views jaw dropping. We’d love to come back one day.

Le personnel de maison est adorable et toujours disponible pour vous aider. Petits déjeuners très très bons !

If u could give this wonderful villa overlooking Thomas Beach 6 stars I would. We stayed here last year and will hopefully be back again. The view is spectacular, staff is very friendly and helpful and it’s close to lots of cafe’s and shops.

The Villa is above and beyond what we wished for. So beautiful, complete fell oceanfront views close the uluwatu. The pics do not describe how gorgeous this Villa is. I was amazed! We had a scooter but could walk anywhere. Air conditioning is ice cold if you need it. It was the best place we have stayed in Bali.

We absolutely loved staying at thus villa. As soon as we reserved the booking, we received details on how to ensure a smooth checkin. We were in awe the moment we arrived and saw the villa and the ocean/sunset views. My family and I were extremely comfortable and slept well with the sounds of the waves (no construction sounds). We had the most wonderful time at the house. We stayed 10 days and felt like home. The team taking care of us was wonderful, always available and helping us when needed. You should try their pancakes for breakfast to start the day. The house is excellent, and has a warm and homely feeling. The open living areas is fantastic transitioning into the garden. The air-conditioned bedrooms are great spaces and we slept very well, waking up to the ocean view and sounds of waves. The pool is very large and great for swimming laps as well. What can we say about the views...they are breathtaking! We watched the tides and waves for hours from the terrace until it was time for us to walk to Thomas Beach for some surfing. The restaurants in walking distance are all excellent and lots to choose from. We hope to be able to come back!
Amazing house and perfect location. The house is private and has amazing views. A 10 minute walk to Uluwatu beach for surf and 3 min walk to restaurants and shops. Komang and staff are the Best. I highly recommend having Komang make breakfast. We will definitely book this house again when we return to Bali.
We had an incredible stay. The staff was amazing and the views were an absolute dream.
We were five friends staying in Uluwatu for 2 nights. This villa was absolutely world class. The photos do not do it justice. The house and pool with the beach view were wonderful. There are two housekeepers and security overnight so we felt very cared for. We wanted massages for one of the days and Komang kindly organise five therapists to come to house within a few hours notice at a very affordable price. We felt like celebrities. The house is a 10 minute walk from bars and restaurants, and 20 minute from the beach (however very steep steps!). Would recommend this villa 1000 times over it was our highlight of Bali.

Absolutely stunning property with exceptional views. We particularly loved the pool which blends in so well with the horizon and was a great pool for laps as well. Komang and Ronnie were very helpful and worked in the background to ensure a wonderful stay. This place will be in our memories forever.❤️
What an absolutely epic holiday made only more epic by our accommodation and hosts. Huge thanks to Komang for cooking breakfast for us each morning (delicious!) and to Dewa our daily driver (legend!) for all the trips to a from the villa. Both of you made this family holiday not only amazing but something we will remember and cherish forever. The Villa itself is amazing and everything you could hope for from a coastal Bali villa. the view is awesome. the aircon in all the bedrooms is great. the fridge keeps the beer cold and the visit's you get from the monkey's is always entertaining. Something to consider is you are a short walk from the main road (maybe 10mins), there is always the option to scooter/Gojek or arrange transport if you don't want to walk. Would stay again!!!

It was a fantastic setup, place and location very modern architecture, although 30 year old, and amazing art. The stay was well maintained and very approachable from restaurants, cafés and the beaches. It’s way better than the photos currently shown here. More importantly the house help are very very sweet and cooked very good local food.
This house is more than what you think it will be. The view is the best in Uluwatu, bech is not reachable from the villa. Monkeys stole my book but I would have gifted it to them(; Kitchen has all amenities. Staff was amazing! Highly recommend!

Wow ! Just wow ! We were a group of 5 adults. This place it’s breathtaking! I can’t even believe this exists . What a blast . Every single thing in this house it’s stunning . The photos don’t even show the reality of how amazing this place is , it’s actually hard to show it in photos. Was spotless clean . All that we need was provided . Staff is so friendly. We simply love this place with all our hearts and I think we would have stayed longer if we could. It’s very privet and you feel literally on top of the world .
An amazing spot. Honestly the photos don’t do it justice. I have stayed in a few places in bali and none are like this. When at the villa, you are totally secluded and have the best view. However you are just a 5 mins walk/1 min cab ride to a street with some excellent restaurants and bars. Will definitely be back

THE most incredible spot in Bali! Loved everything this about this house, garden and yard… architecture on point, pool on point, lovely staff on point… even the monkeys think it’s on point too! A really spectacular location with a ‘once in a life time vibe’. We stayed for 3 days with our children, aged 10, 8 and 6. NOTE: Dewi is not kidding when he says there it is CLIFF side!! If you are a family with very young children, think very carefully about safety! We loved it all though, especially our trek down to Thomas beach and exploring the rock formations and jumping on the scooters to check out Uluwatu (1 min) and Padang (4 mins). Would love to come back with a couple of adult friends and hang for a week too! Thanks Dewi and Staff :)

Words can not describe the amazing view and location perched upon a cliff between Uluwatu and Panang Panang. The place is clean and well laid out, staff is super helpful and respectful. There were lots of kitchen conveniences like 2 Italian espresso makers, blender, toaster etc. We were here with our two toddlers under 4 and despite the precarious location on the cliff, always felt safe with them. The neighborhood is growing with lots of new restaurants. Can't recommend this place enough!!!

We loved Dewi's place so much! As many reviewers already say, the photos truly don't do it justice. The views are absolutely magnificent. Depending on the tide you can watch turtles, dugongs, fishers, surfers, just from the deck. The kitchen has everything you need as do the bedrooms with additional adapters etc. The beds are very comfy and you get new towels on request. The staff is the best, helpful and friendly with everything. The location is great and you have allmost all you need within a 10 minute drive. If you're on foot, there's also a few restos and shops to walk to. We would 100% book here again (and hopefully will:)). Prepare to meet some cool monkeys and other wildlife too. For fake blondes: make sure to wash your hair before and immediately after using the pool:)

I enjoyed my stay tremendously. The villa was well maintained and the staff maintaining the place were very helpful and responsive. The villa looked exactly like the photos and offered a great view of the ocean. Had a great time lounging by the pool and just looking at the sea. The beach was also a short walk away. In short, it’s really a beautiful villa and I would love to return to stay there

The villa was beautiful just as described and pictured. It is tastefully decorated and feels like the owner really put their thoughts and care into it. The rooms were cozy and nice, pool is clean and there’s plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view of the sea. The housekeepers are attentive and always helpful to assist us. We had awesome breakfast daily prepared by the housekeepers. Pleasant experience overall. A few things to note: 1. if you are travelling with small children, there are plenty of hazards as the villa is located at the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea. 2. The small road leading to the villa from the main road is poorly lit at night and during rainy season, the road is flooded at a few places. Rather than walk, you might need a transport. 3. If you are new to Bali, this area is far from town ie Kuta. You can get almost everything you need here, though but travelling out from this area is a pain.
One of the rare moments of arriving somewhere and being blown away instead of feeling like certain things were over sold. A rare experience when the images on the site didn’t do the house justice. It’s even more dramatic, more aesthetically beautiful, more paradisiacal than the pics could ever describe. It will be tricky going anywhere else after this. Can’t imagine many places measuring up. We could not have been more satisfied. And it’s very much on the must return list.

We didn’t venture far from this wonderful property. We were a party of 6 adults and we could always find our own special place on the property. The views were amazing. Walked to Thomas Beach, Padang Padang beach and Uluwatu beach with ease. Lovely ocean breezes. The housekeepers were so obliging and prepared delicious meals. We will return.
This place is even more beautiful than pictures! We truly enjoyed our stay and just wish it had been longer! The decor, the VIEWS from everywhere, the staff - it is all wonderful! The pool is really special - long and beautifully made with windows built in and a beautiful Infiniti edge. My son LOVED swimming in it (and so did the adults)! There really is nothing at all negative to say about the property. The host was great and easy to communicate with. He answered all my questions and arranged a driver for getting us from Ubud to his home. We had asked about swim floaties and he said they did not have any but when we arrived there were three for our family to use. We were pleasantly surprised. The ladies cleaned in the morning and made breakfast with the money we provided for the food. It was a very affordable service. They even arranged it in the pool floating tray for a photo opt for my daughter. As for location - restaurants are easily accessible from the home. You will need to use your phone or a flashlight if coming or going at dark as the path is not lit well. The path to the beach from the home is easy as well. The access to Thomas beach (that everyone uses) has very steep steps though. We found Padang Padang and Dreamland Beaches very beautiful but you will need a driver for those. Worth it! One other thing to note - there is some sort of clubhouse, hotel, or something very close that had loud music until about midnight on Saturday night. We heard it on Thursday night too but Saturday night was much louder and later. We just used sleeping app fans to drown out the noise for going to bed. It would not deter us from staying here again. Don’t hesitate to book this place! It’s gorgeous and you will be glad you did!
Great villa, fantastic view and lovely hosts! From the moment you enter the house and see the pool and the view you know you want to be there… You can walk to nice restaurants and also to the beach. Take a grab or a scooter and in 10 minutes you will be in Uluwatu Temple… We will be back!
Rumah Nesta was 10/10 perfect for our girls get away. Would probably not take small children here with a few drop off points. It was close to surf, restaurants, spas and beautiful Thomas beach. Highly recommend this slice of paradise. Komang, Wayan and Ronnie looked after us so well
The photos don’t do justice. It is spectacular! Thomas beach is only a five minute stroll through the jungle. Shops and restaurants at the end of the road- though far enough away to not disturb the peace. Komang and Wayan took excellent care of us and the food was amazing! Thanks for a great stay.
Everything was superb: the house, the views, it’s location in the heart of uluwatu and the fantastic and friendly hospitality of the on-site staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again for sure. Komang, Wayan and Ronnie were so lovely, attentive and friendly and helped us with so many things including making yummy breakfasts for us to enjoy on the deck, organising drivers and massages and just generally having a friendly conversation. They also kept the place spotless. It really was a special experience.

Absolutely stunning view in the perfect position to enjoy the best of the Bali Bukit. Dewi and the staff were amazing! Super friendly and very helpful with our every need. The villa was perfect and well equipped, ideal for my wife and I and 3 teenage children. I have been coming to Bali for over 25 years and this is by far the best place I have ever stayed in at the Bukit, our Family had the best time we will be back again for sure 🙌🏼
The house and it’s setting are really spectacular. The house is beautiful, and just really tastefully done - designed and decorated that you feel in a real Balinese paradise, which cant be said for a lot of the sterile villas along the Ulu cliff top. The view is exceptional, with 4/5 different relaxing areas taking in a 270degree view from the ocean vista to the beautiful Thomas beach below. The indoor rooms are also much nicer than they appear in the photos. The staff are all really welcoming and warm, but non-intrusive, with separate quarters on the property. The location is the icing on the cake - it is a very easy 5 minute cut through to the top of Thomas beach (which is stunning, but a little rocky. And tidal, with deeper water waves in the morning, but shallow still water in the afternoon/evening as the waves retreat back behind the reef). This is closer/easier than coming in from the main road. (Though there is an unavoidable short steep climb down to the actual beach). Ulu was also our favourite part of Bali, just so laid back and casual cool. Food options are exceptional, with a 5-6 minute walk to the Main Street with more amazing food options than we were able to try in 6 days. Suka espresso, La Baracca, BGS, district 6, Ulu garden, Ulu cliff house, single fin & more are all walkable in 5 to 10 minutes. Plus you can easily Grab/GoJek food from further afield. Thanks to the whole team for an unforgettable stay.

Literally one of the best places to stay in Uluwatu and quite possibly Bali. The location is stunning, the finish of the place is impeccable. Dwi, Wayan, Komang and Rhony were very welcoming, insanely helpful and a real pleasure to meet. This is an absolute must-stay place if you are in Ulu!!

An amazing magical villa, with incredible views and energy. We loved everything about the space including our short visit from the monkeys. Waking up to sunrise in the main bedroom is beyond and cocktails at sunset soooo relaxing . Thanks for sharing your space .
Beautiful house on the cliff
Dwi's place was amazing. We expected a lot but it exceeded everything we could have asked for. Communication beforehand and throughout our stay was quick and easy. We checked in and met Ketut and his staff who were friendly and helpful, they immediately organised a scooter to be delivered to the house. The staff are on hand most of the morning and cleaned the house and quickly fixed an issue with the electrics for us. There was also someone present for security 24 hours a day and the house is very secure and gated. We didn't use the staff for anything extra in the house (laundry, cooking etc) although i'm sure they would have if asked. A transfer to the airport when we checked out was organised by Ketut's cousin quickly and cheaply. The house is in a perfect position with beautiful views overlooking Thomas Beach and the sea, there are a few other houses around but they don't spoil the view and it does seem secluded. The house is about a ten minute walk to the beach which has a few bars and restaurants on and you can hire sunbeds and surfboards. We were surprised by how much was around near to the house, beach clubs, bars and some really good restaurants a short walk away although with a scooter or taxi there is a lot more within a few minutes so I would recommend this. The swimming pool is amazing and the house has everything you would need and is the perfect setting to stay in Uluwatu. My only minor negative (which is not the fault of the host at all) was on our second night, the house next door has a large group check in who were very loud and played music throughout the day and at night, the house next door is sold as a bit of a party house. This didn't bother us too much but did ruin the seclusion and peace on the second day we were there. Overall though, this is an amazing beautiful house in a great area, perfect for a short stay or a lot longer to explore the area.
Location and house is fantastic for families and or small crew of friends. Easy access to eateries,single fin, ulu cliffhouse if that is your thing. Prime location for surfers. Kitchen is fully equipped and while staff are there to hep cook if required, it was easier just to do ourselves. Large BBQ also. Staff had a motorbike on the ready and this made getting about a breeze. Pack your own portable speaker if you want some tunes while sitting by the pool. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Will definitely be back if available.
We had a group of four stay here and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. We had bbqs and really utilised being in such a great location. You can walk to restaurants but we enjoyed having scooters The staff were great but we didn’t really request them to do any extras. Depends what you are after but don’t expect them to do everything for you. We were quite happy being left to our own devices Amazing place and highly recommend!

This place is a gem. We are so lucky we found it. It is a hidden oasis on the most beautiful cliff overlooking Thomas beach. Everything was perfect. The rooms were comfortable, with the master having the most beautiful outdoor shower, and view of the beach! The staff on hand was happy to help us with laundry as coffee in the morning, or finding us a driver. It’s also a great spot to walk down the street and grab a bite to eat or walk over to Single Fin or Ulu Cliffhouse. It’s nice to have the options in walking distance, but also not feel the need to leave the villa when you have your own beautiful view. We feel so lucky to have found this awesome place. The house is amazing, and we wish we could have stayed for a week. Thank you for everything!

We came to stay at Dwi’s place for 3 nights with our 3/4 and 7 year old kids and our nanny. This is the 4th time we visit Uluwatu and first time we stayed in this beautiful villa. The views are totally outstanding and felt very private. Loved the outdoor living feel of the villa and the 20 meter pool was amazing! We didn’t use their driver or cook as I knew a local driver and we went out for most meals, so many great restaurants walking distance. The 3 bedrooms worked perfectly for our group. Comfy bed and the staff at the house gave us lots of privacy which we loved! Fabulous stay in a wonderful place!
Amazing Place...
This place is incredible. We were all astounded when we arrived. The view is unlike anything we had seen at a house before. It had a beautiful architecture and furniture and even moreso the really cool artwork. The infinity pool is beautiful and was super clean and the gardens well maintained. The wifi was a bit unstable, the only reason this was an issue was we were trying to show off the beauty of the place! If you get the chance to stay here do it, you will not regret it.
位置略偏，但路径清晰，跟着导航，白天很容易找到，晚上略有困难； 太晚就不要步行出门了，必经之路上看到过蛇，不过，投宿和行车都不是问题，只是走路不安全； 前一栋别墅有两只大狗，有人经过便犬吠不止，偶尔大门打开，会滞于门前必经之路，因此白天步行出门，也是要注意一下的； 院子里偶尔会有猴子出现，少则三五只，多则二三十只，只是来喝泳池水小歇，不主动不招惹也不会影响住宿； 院内偶有狗屎，略影响住宿体验（本院两只狗，腊肠和金毛，性情温顺）； 两处凉亭观赏日出非常美，建议延时拍摄，不过要小心设备跌落或被猴子偷走。此处的美，还是请自己品鉴吧，文字不足以表达； 其他建筑景致，照片原样呈现不一一说明了。
Fantastic location! Close to all the popular restaurants. The views are amazing. The house was lovely, without the huge price tag of others in the same position. We will be back for sure! Loved it!

We had a Fantastic stay here! The views are breathtaking and the space is amaising, for the price of staying here it in real! The villa next door be it Uber modern is four times the price and doesn’t get the same view! The staff are so friendly and welcoming katut the night security gave us a leaving gift which we were so taken back with, Wyun (excuse the spelling) saved us from a thieving monkey who swiped my girlfriends phone like somesort of fury ninja, followed by my girlfriend alerting me of the theft I was utterly useless at trying to chase the monkey with flip flop in hand, Wyun stepped in with watermelon and peanuts and successfully convinced the ahole monkey to drop the phone 😁👍 all be it almost off the cliff she won!

The open concept for shared time as well as the various corners to get away and relax in a more secluded way gives villa Nesta Duyung the right balance between family coziness and alone-time to chill and recharge. The pool is fantastic. Few words regarding the location. The place is in walking distance to some restaurants (Suka Espresso and Barraca where our favourite) and we also walked down to Single Fin, which took around 15-20 minutes. Having said that, we are a group of Germans and to my experience it seems that Germans like to walk. The food at Villa Nesta Duyung prepared by the chef and also the staff was great - they even prepared my favourite, beef rendang as well as many other local delights. We didn't try their Western food skills. All in all I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from the crowds and enjoy the peace and nature in Bukit.

Dwi was extremely accomodating in helping make our stay as comfortable as possible! Great spot right on the ocean in a very private location, def take it if it’s available, easily one of the best places for money in the area.
A pictures is worth a thousand word, Dwi place is exactly as that will breathetaking sea view. There is generous amount of room space plus ample of wash room for all guests. Swimming pool is huge to match with the spectacular view and housekeeper can prepare breakfast or simply order food delivery from the italian restaurant nearby. Do note the swimming pool is very deep and there is plenty of red ants surrounding the garden, something to keep in mind of you are bringing children. Overall a relaxing getaway stay from the busy seminyak area.

It was one of the best acomodation I have ever been to. The Villa is absolutely perfect. Located right above the cliff with a breathtaking views of Padang Padang and Uluwatu. The best thing about this Villa is the infinity pool. It is long enough to have a good swim. The house has open space kitchen with chillout zone and a bar. We absolutely loved everything about this listing and it is worth every penny. Book now!

This villas was incredible. The views from the villa were unbelievable and it is perfectly located near beautiful beaches (easy to scooter to Padang Padang and Bingin Beach) and some good cafes. The staff were wonderful and Dwi was very helpful. Would love to stay here again. A perfect, luxurious end to our holiday

The location of the villa has to be one of the best in Bali. The outdoor area has an uninterrupted view of the entire west coast of Bali and the Indian ocean. The outdoor area is beautifully maintained and includes a 20m pool which is in pristine condition. The master bedroom and 2nd bedroom have all the luxuries a family with 2 kids require. Staff were exceptional and and very discreet throughout the day and night. You will require transport if you stay here as this is a quiet area of Bali and could take over 60 min to drive into Denpasar. There are nearby restaurants a plenty, but not within walking distance. If you like to be away from the hustle and bustle of Denpasar/Kuta this Villa is perfect.

A gem in South Bali - great place, good location and lovely staff. The villa is spacious and works well if you are travelling with family or friends. There is one bedroom on one side of the building and the two others on the other offering some privacy. The pool is very large and the view is just magnificent. We did not travel much around the area as we were very content to stay around the villa and enjoy the pool, garden and view. We would also highly recommend the services of the cook who made wonderful dishes.
The house is beautiful. It is spacious and beautifully designed with lots of room for the family to gather together but with plenty of private spots for solitude. It is beautifully and comfortably furnished. The kitchen has everything you could ever need to make a delicious meal and the setting is amazing with lush greenery framing the incredible ocean views. The highlight was definitely the 20m lap pool. Its also walking distance to several restaurants and the sunset views (and surfing!) of Ulluwatu. We enjoyed it immensely. The permanent staff are friendly and welcoming and Dwi quickly responded to any email inquiries. The 2 dogs were lovely and gentle. All in all the stay was a success. And we will be recommending “Tim’s House” to others.
