Exploring Sanding Bamboo Villa - An Idyllic Jungle Retreat left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Sanding Bamboo Villa - An Idyllic Jungle Retreat was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Tampaksiring plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Sanding Bamboo Villa - An Idyllic Jungle Retreat painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
(+) The place looks exactly like it does in the photos. The villa is spacious and comfortable, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. (-) The pool water was freezing because the pool doesn’t get direct sunlight. During our 6-day stay, we were only able to use it once, even though the pool was one of the main reasons we chose this villa. This was a big disappointment. If you plan to go to Ubud often, keep in mind the villa isn’t that close. It takes about 15 minutes by scooter. The bathroom is not very comfortable. The shower pressure is low, and the hot–cold water balance is very difficult to adjust. Check-out time is 11:00 am. We asked to leave at 12:00, but this was not accepted. In our opinion, the villa could still have been prepared in time. As someone who has also been a host, I feel it’s not worth upsetting a guest over just one hour. Wayan seemed overly focused on money. We felt we paid almost double for services arranged through him which made us very uncomfortable.

Une expérience absolument magique au cœur des rizières, dans une magnifique villa en bambou. Le lieu est tout simplement exceptionnel : un cadre paisible et authentique, entouré de rizières, avec des jardins magnifiques et parfaitement entretenus. Chaque détail contribue à créer une atmosphère unique et propice à la détente. Un immense merci à Wayan et Kadek pour leur accueil chaleureux, leur générosité et leur bienveillance. Toujours disponibles et attentionnés, ils ont largement contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus spécial. C’était toujours un immense plaisir de discuter avec eux et de partager quelques moments ensemble. Nous repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs de ce lieu et surtout de très belles rencontres. Die Sanding Bamboo Villa hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen! Die Villa und der umliegende Garten sind ein absoluter Traum und eine wunderschöne, ruhige Oase im Grünen. Alles super sauber und das Bett ist sehr komfortabel! Zusätzlich zu der tollen Villa mit dem traumhaften Pool haben Wayan und seine Familie unseren Aufenthalt hier zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht! Wir haben jeden Morgen ein grandioses Frühstück erhalten und Wayan hat uns die ganze Insel gezeigt! Wann immer wir etwas brauchten, waren Wayan und seine Familie für uns da. Könnten wir mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben, würden wir das tun, eine absolute Empfehlung für jeden, der Bali besuchen und sich dort ganz wie zuhause fühlen möchte!
We hebben nog nooit zo’n geweldig verblijf gehad als hier. De foto’s zijn al mooi, maar in het echt is het nog meer prachtig! Wayan en zijn familie waren geweldig. We werden zo goed verzorgd en de familie heeft er echt voor gezorgd dat we hier nog een keer terug willen komen. We hebben in totaal 4 nachten hier verbleven, maar dit hadden er zoveel meer mogen zijn wat ons betreft. We missen de familie nu al, hopelijk tot gauw! 🥰
Erstmal noch einmal vielen Dank Wayan, Kadek und Puto für die Unvergesslichen Erlebnisse, die wir dank euch erleben durften. Matur Suksma!! Die Villa ist wunderschön gestaltet und ist eine Oase zwischen Reisfeldern und dem Dschungel. Die Bilder entsprechen genau dem, wie es auch der Wirklichkeit entspricht, bzw. ist es vor Ort noch schöner. Wayan und sein Sohn sind super Reiseführer und wir haben uns voll und ganz auf deren Empfehlungen verlassen. Dies war auch genau die richtige Entscheidung. Kadek hat uns morgens mit einem frischen und super leckeren Frühstück versorgt. Wer eine saubere, ruhige, hochwertige und traditionell gestaltete Unterkunft in der Nähe von Ubud sucht, sollte diese Unterkunft buchen. Wir waren insgesamt 6 Nächte dort und wären auch gerne noch länger geblieben… Tom u. Chiara
It was really great. Starting with the beautiful accommodations. We were also given a very warm welcome by Wayan and Kadek. We can also highly recommend Wayan as a tour guide. He’s the perfect companion for exploring the beautiful places in Bali and is very attentive to your individual wishes. We’d love to come back.
We were so sad to leave this beautiful villa! The location amongst the rice fields and the unique bamboo architecture made it such a peaceful and special place. Before arriving, we were slightly worried it might be a little too rural, but this ended up being one of the things we loved most. It made our stay feel so private and perfect for our honeymoon. What truly made the experience special was Wayan and his family. His son Puto really looked after us, from arranging our airport pickup to driving us around to everything we had planned. Kadek was always there to take care of us and made us delicious breakfasts every morning. They made us feel completely at home and genuinely like part of their family. Such a unique, personal experience and one of the most memorable parts of our honeymoon. 🤍
In one word spectacular! When we arrived at the villa we were lost for words. The villa and the surrounding nature are even more beautiful than the photos do justice. Wayan and his family are so incredibly sweet and helpful. Our stay was amazing and we are very grateful for this amazing experience 😊🙏🏼
This accommodation is a must! It’s an absolutely beautiful open design bamboo villa that is surrounded by nature and rice fields. Wayan and Kadek’s hospitality was superb and their friendliness really made us feel comfortable and at home - this was such a special stay for us. You’re about a 30 min car ride to Ubud and can still get food deliveries from local restaurants as well as Ubud centre. Would highly recommend this place as a base to explore north Ubud and surroundings :)
Wir waren insgesamt 6 Nächte in der Villa und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit! Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft gelegen und man hat eine wunderbare Aussicht in den Dschungel. Mit etwas Glück kann man sogar auch Affen vom Balkon aus beobachten. Die Villa ist sehr schön und toll gestaltet. An die Geräuschkulisse in der Nacht, die hauptsächlich durch die Frösche kommt, gewöhnt man sich recht schnell. Wir wurden über die komplette Zeit sehr herzlich behandelt und bestens umsorgt. Wir haben jeden Tag ein leckeres Frühstück nach Wahl bekommen (Die Pancakes sind sehr zu empfehlen 🥞 🤤). Wayan, Kadek und Putuu waren wunderbare Gastgeber, sie waren von Anfang an sehr nett, bemüht und haben uns in der ganzen Zeit wirklich sehr gut unterstützt. Mit Putuu haben wir schöne Ausflüge gemacht und er hat uns nach unseren Wünschen, zu allen möglichen Zielen und Sehenswürdigkeiten gebracht. Er war unser eigener Reiseführer! In keiner anderen Unterkunft haben wir einen so tollen Service erleben dürfen! Suksma
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in einer tollen Bambus-Villa mit traumhaften Dschungelblick. Wayan und sein Sohn Putuu sowie Kadek sind sehr herzlich und nett. Wayan und Putuu waren jederzeit bereit für kurze Fahrten oder auch ganze Tagestouren. Desweiteren sind die beiden gute Fahrer, Tourguides und Fotografen. Wir hatten eine super Tagestour mit mehreren Stops, diese können wir wärmstens empfehlen. Wir wünschen Ihnen alles Gute und bis bald!😁
Wir durften unsere Reise mit dieser traumhaften Unterkunft starten. Es war wunderschön, der Service und die Unterstützung von Wayan waren außerordentlich! Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen und haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt🙏🏼😊
Il miglior posto in cui ho alloggiato a Bali.. esperienza fantastica, la casa, la piscina , la vista.. tutto perfetto. Le persone gentilissime, bravissime e sempre disponibili. É un posto meraviglioso!
This place has been the best we have had during our trip yet. The place is absolutely beautiful. First of all, the surroundings: only rice fields behind you and high jungle-like trees and a well-maintained garden. Secondly, the place itself was amazing, with everything we needed and the pool was great as well. The people were also very kind, responsive and helpful. We had food poisening the night before, so the lady took me on the back of her motorcycle and drove me to a local supermarket close by and even to a local traditional market a bit further away for fruit. Wayan even arranged our dinner, as he drove to the restaurant himself to pick up our food. The son of Wayan drove us to the harbour the next morning. All in all, really kind and helpful people with an amazing villa that feels like ultimate vacation.
Wir hatten drei wunderbare Nächte in der Villa. Bereits vor unserer Ankunft nahm Wayan Kontakt zu uns auf und organisierte einen Transfer zur Unterkunft für uns. Wir erwähnten auf der Fahrt, dass wir einen Roller mieten wollen. Dieser stand bereits bei unserer Ankunft für uns bereit. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, das Frühstück wurde von Kadek und Wayans Frau liebevoll zubereitet. Wir erhielten Tipps für die Umgebung und konnten auch einen Transfer zum Hafen nach unserem Check-Out über Wayans Sohn organisieren. Insgesamt würden wir hier jederzeit wieder übernachten und empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 100% weiter. Man sollte unbedingt das Floating Breakfast buchen und einen Transfer über Wayans Sohn organisieren.
10/10 !! Beyond Expectations! This villa was absolutely incredible even better than in the pictures! The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and the whole place was spotless . We couldn't have asked for a better stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. And What made our experience truly unforgettable, was the incredible hospitality of Wayan and Carik. They welcomed us with open arms and genuine smiles from day one. They were always there whenever we needed anything, paying attention to even the smallest details to ensure we were comfortable. Also wayan didn’t hesitate to share local hidden gems and to give us best recommendations. He is such a nice, friendly and helpful person. You can lay on him to visit Bali as well.
너무 즐겁게 허니문을 보내고 갑니다. 우붓 시내에서 조금 떨어져 있는 곳이라, 이곳에 머무르실 예정이라면 한국에서 라면이나 간단한 간식을 챙겨오시는 것을 추천드립니다. 그러면 더욱 편안하고 만족스러운 시간을 보내실 수 있을 것 같아요. 저희는 미처 준비하지 못해 100% 즐기지는 못했지만, 아름다운 자연 속에서 힐링할 수 있었고 무엇보다 직원분들이 정말 친절해서 더욱 좋은 추억으로 남았습니다. 다음에 우붓에 다시 온다면 꼭 다시 머물고 싶은 숙소입니다.
Mit Wayan und seinem Sohn Putzu hat jeder Transport und jede Abmachung reibungslos funktioniert. Sie haben uns von der Fähre abgeholt und eine private Tour durch Ubud nach unseren Wünschen mit uns gemacht. Auch der Transport nach Nusa Penida wurde für uns geregelt. Das Morgenessen ist sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet von Wayan selbst. Die Villa ist wunderschön und einzigartig eingerichtet, mit vielen kleine Details und frischen Blumen. Die Villa war sehr sauber und auch als es regnete kam sofort jemand um den Boden zu trocknen. Die drei Nächte waren sehr erholsam und wir würden sofort wiederkommen!
Unsere schönste Unterkunft auf Bali! Der Blick in den Dschungel ist magisch! Ab und zu kann man von weitem einen Affen sehen 😍 Der Pool und der gesamte Garten ist wunderschön! Wir können das Floating breakfast sehr empfehlen. Alles, was das Herz begehrt! Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich, hilfsbereit und lesen einem jeden Wunsch ab. Es gibt dort alles, was man sich wünscht (Massage vor Ort, Essen liefern lassen). Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder❤️
Es war ein richtig schönes Ende unserer Flitterwochen. Wir wurden von kadek und wayan sehr freundlich begrüßt und wir bekamen ein herrliches traditionelles Frühstück (sogar mit leckeren balinesischem Kuchen) sowie Kaffee. Die Unterkunft war ein Traum und lädt zum entspannen und einfach genießen ein. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an euch !
Wir können überhaupt nicht in Worte fassen wie wunderschön und perfekt dieser Aufenthalt war. Das Haus ist so super schön, die Lage, der Garten die Architektur. Alles ist makellos sauber, liebevoll gestaltet und vorbereitet. Wayan und die Familie sind so freundlich und hilfsbereit aber auch sehr diskret und unaufdringlich. Uns wurden so viele besondere Sachen vorgeschlagen die man im Umkreis machen konnte, zu denen Wayan uns außerdem freundlich und zuverlässig gefahren hat. Auch die Blütenbadewanne und das floating breakfast waren einfach nur wunderschön und liebevoll gestaltet. Ich würde jedem außerdem die Massage empfehlen die in die Unterkunft kommen um zu massieren. Wir habe es gleich mehrfach gebucht.
Wauw, this place went above and beyond our expectations! The bamboo villa is even more beautiful than the pictures, and the view of the jungle and rice terraces is spectacular. Wayan and Kadek were such great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Wayan even drove us to our next destination in Bali. I cannot reccommend this place enough!

We had an unbelievably great stay at the sanding bamboo villa. It‘s a little outside of ubud more on the countryside and in a cute little village. We enjoyed the calm surrounding, and it only takes about 30 minutes to drive to ubud with motorcycle! Wayan and his team were amazing, more than friendly, always available, so accommodating and helpful in every possible way. The villa itself was super nice, awesome pool, nice bathroom and comfy beds. Also, the breakfast they served tastes very good! All in all, a great place to stay in Ubud area:)
Diese Unterkunft ist einfach der Wahnsinn. Es hat uns so unglaublich gut gefallen, alles ist wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Etwas von Ubud Zentrum entfernt , perfekt um runterzukommen und zu entspannen! Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum! Wayan und Kadek waren ein tolles Team , was sich super um uns gekümmert hat. We had an absolutely amazing stay! Wayan, our host, was extremely friendly and helpful from start to finish - always quick to respond and happy to share tips to make our trip better. His family were lovely too and made us feel genuinely welcome the entire time. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and was a real highlight of our trip. This stay has been such a special part of our trip. Wayan, Putu, and Kadek made us feel like part of their families and welcomed us to join and participate in their culture and ceremonies. We went on several day trip tours with Patu and had a wonderful time and went to some hidden gems! Very flexible with timing and transport. The villa itself was more beautiful than the photos could capture. We even saw a night with monkeys climbing in the trees! The breakfasts were incredible and the villa was always spotless. We are very greatful to have stayed here and with such caring and loving people. Matur Suksuma!

Surrounded by lush greenery, it felt like a peaceful retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently located near local attractions. The villa was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The private pool was definitely a highlight, making it easy to relax and enjoy the tropical atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying the serene surroundings made this experience truly memorable. I would highly recommend Private Bamboo Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing and unique stay in Bali. While of course you book this place for the stunning views, surroundings, and lodging, I learned while staying there it’s much more than an Airbnb. Wayan, his son Putuu, and Kadek make sure to do everything they possibly can to make your trip the best you’ve ever had. I wish I had booked this place for longer while we were in Bali. Once we left, my husband and I really missed the service we received here! It was our best stay in Bali by far. It’s amazing you don’t even have to think while you’re here, they suggest and organize trips for you, provide amazing breakfasts, help arrange your dinner plans without you even asking, their help and service made our trip so stress free! Also I have to mention the Airbnb itself was immaculate, it’s literally like staying in a luxurious treehouse in the jungle. It was so fun to do our tours during the day then come back in the late afternoon and take a dip in the pool and chill with some dinner at night. If you’re debating at all, book this place!
This was our favourite accommodation in Bali so far. The villa itself is made of bamboo and has amazing view of the rice terrace and a mini jungle (as we called it). Sadly, the rice terraces were gone just a few days before we arrived, but still nice to see the ducks and monkeys. Watching the sunset from the pool was honestly so mesmerising. Wayan and his staff were so friendly and attentive. We would love to come back again if we're ever in Bali.

Exactly like pictures so beautiful and peaceful. Wayan is amazing. We had photo session and Wayan helped getting a photoshoot. Definitely coming back! Kadek is super friendly and helped us in getting groceries by giving free ride to nearby super market. Overall it was amazing stay.

Wow, what an incredible stay and experience! This was honestly one of the most memorable places we have ever stayed. Wayan and his family went absolutely above and beyond to make our time in Bali so special and unforgettable. He became our personal guide, helping us discover some of the most beautiful and authentic experiences including tubing, silver making, luwak coffee, traditional Balinese art, temple cleansing, the sky bike and stunning waterfalls. After a day of exploring, returning to the Airbnb felt like entering a peaceful sanctuary hidden amongst the rice fields. The space was so calming, beautiful and full of magic. Wayan also organised the most delicious breakfasts and dinners for us, which made the whole experience feel even more effortless and relaxing. We couldn’t recommend this stay more highly. A truly special experience that we will never forget.
The bamboo villa made our stay in Bali! We loved it from the second we walked through the doors. The surroundings are so peaceful and the place is beautiful and well kept. Wayan communicated very well and organised with us to be collected from our previous location. We hired a scooter which allowed us so much freedom to explore Ubud as there is so much to do and see. Wayan helped us with recommendations in the area and booked some activities for us. He was always available if we needed him and he also checked in with us in the villa regularly. We had breakfast in the villa which was always delicious and freshly prepared. We loved the area because it felt very traditional away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. We took the scooter into central Ubud every day for dinner or trips with no issues. The staff were so friendly and we felt at home. Would love to visit again! Also look out for the little ginger cat, we named him Cheeto.. super friendly! Matur Suksma!
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! La villa est absolument magnifique et les photos sont totalement conformes à la réalité. Nichée au cœur de la jungle et des rizières, elle offre un cadre parfait pour se reposer au calme, tout en restant à seulement 20 minutes de scooter d'Ubud pour profiter de son ambiance et faire des visites. Wayan est un hôte extrêmement accueillant et toujours disponible pour nous aider, que ce soit pour organiser les transports ou réserver des activités. Le point fort de notre séjour a été la cérémonie de purification qu'il nous a organisée : guidés par sa femme et une employée de la villa, nous avons découvert un temple magnifique et totalement préservé du tourisme, ce qui est une expérience rare et précieuse à Bali.

Easily the best Airbnb experience. Wayan was so welcoming and could not have made our ubud experience better. He personally took us on an Ubud day tour, avoiding the peak tourist times, and to a special experience at the Gianyar night market. We could not have been happier. Before booking anything before your stay, speak with Wayan first!
One of the most beautiful places I could have imagined! The place was immaculate and very well maintained! It was indeed amazing! It is away from the city but it is just worth it to stay in this amazing property! This brings you close to the nature of Ubud! Hosts are also very good and take good care 😀 Just book it🫡
We just stayed in this incredible "jungalow" for our honeymoon, and would 1000% recommend it to anyone! I actually got emotional when we arrived because it was so impossibly beautiful; an actual heaven on earth. Wayan was our man every step of the way. He helped us with meal ordering, transportation, got our laundry done, taught us a lot of useful Balinese phrases (which the locals were both delighted and amused by), acted as photographer, and just exuded joy every moment we were with him. There is no a/c, so we were usually sticky, but having a private pool took care of that problem. One bonus we were not expecting was the monkeys! Right outside the bungalow! One actually tried to sneak into our bedroom, but it scattered the second it saw us. Don't worry, the villa comes with locks for the doors. :) We were about 30 minutes from all the activities we wanted to do. It is not walkable to shopping or dining. Wayan took care of our every need.
이 숙소의 완벽함은 절대 사진으로는 담기지가 않아요. 와얀와 그의 아들, 그리고 카덱은 시작부터 끝까지 친절하고 따뜻하게 게스트를 보살폈습니다. 신혼여행 중 2박을 이곳에서 머물렀는데, 더 오래 머물지 못한 것이 아쉬울 정도로 좋았습니다. 친절한 식사 도움, 픽업&드랍 서비스, 무엇보다 우붓 시내와는 완전히 다른 힐링 시간을 뛰어난 자연 경관과 함께 보낼 수 있습니다. 정글뷰 숙소 찾으시면 강력 추천드립니다. 밤이 되면 숙소 주위로 날아다니는 반딧불 구경하다가 시간 가는 줄 몰랐어요. 마지막날, 짐바란으로 넘어가기 위해 비용 상의 후 와얀이 태워 주었는데 헤어질 때는 너무 많이 아쉬웠습니다. 그만큼 게스트에게 정성을 다하고 정을 주는 호스트는 정말 처음 보았습니다. 신랑과 다음번에 꼭 다시 방문하고자 약속했어요. 고마워요 와얀!!
We had the best 2 weeks staying at the villa! Wayan was the sweetest, most accommodating host and even arranged to take us to the nearby temple for a blessing. The villa is absolutely gorgeous and was everything we hoped it would be, and more. We can’t wait to go back and stay again.

Wayan est une personne exceptionnelle, il nous a accueilli, accompagné et guidé tout le long du séjour et même encore une fois parti du logement. We had an absolutely incredible stay in Ubud celebrating our 23rd anniversary. I’ve traveled all over the world, and this was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve ever had—truly the best host we’ve ever encountered. Everything exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a relaxing massage right at our villa, and waking up to breakfast with a stunning jungle view was simply unforgettable. The entire experience felt peaceful, luxurious, and completely out of this world. We would 100% come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something special.

One of our best stays in Bali ! The location is pristine surrounded by beautiful rice farms and green trails. The access too is great and we were able to book a Grab cab to the place. Wayan is an amazing host he not only helped us checkin with bags but also guided us on things to do around. His son Putu drove us to nearby waterfall and Ubud and also clicked amazing pics and made a wonderful video out of it. The warmth and kindness of the hosts matched the beauty of the location and the villa. Absolutely loved it !!!

Wayan and his family were exceptional hosts! Wayan was so kind and friendly, along with the other members of his family who took care of us during our stay. The villa and property is just as it looks in the listing, it was so peaceful and beautiful, we didn’t want to leave! The breakfast was delicious, the fresh fruit and juice every morning was a treat! Wayan and his son Putu drove us around and were excellent guides as well, taking us wherever we wanted to go and sharing great conversation along the way. This Airbnb was a dream! It was peaceful and quiet with the noise of nature. Wayan is the kindest person and was so helpful with our needs! Highly recommend staying here! Just note no AC in the villa there is a fan in the bedroom which helps.

This Bamboo Villa is even more beautiful in person. From the stunning pool to the incredibly comfortable bed, everything exceeded our expectations. We LOVED the tree hut! It's a hidden gem in the rice terraces, and hearing the birds every morning made it so peaceful. We also treated ourselves to the massages and floating breakfast—all amazing! The hosts were the best part: super helpful, they showed us around and took us to local spots for real Balinese food and life. We adored our stay and highly, highly recommend it!

Das war nun bereits unser zweiter Aufenthalt in Ubud und die Unterkunft war einfach ein Traum! Sie liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, dafür ist es aber unfassbar ruhig dort und man ist mitten im Grünen! Wayan und seine Familie sind herzensreine Menschen, wir haben uns ab Sekunde 1 sofort wohl gefühlt. Wer eine besondere Unterkunft im Grünen haben möchte ist hier genau richtig! Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Such an amazing stay with Wayan and his family. They were the best hosts you could ask for. They were always there to answer any questions or to help out with organizing tours, scooters, etc. It’s the closest thing to a home stay with the privacy of your own villa. We even joined the family in a religious ceremony with their community. They gave us Balinese clothes and we went to the temple with them to experience their culture. The villa is clean, modern and you won’t want to leave. The pool is so nice to relax in. The only thing I would recommend is installing air conditioning unit upstairs as it can get quite hot during the night. It’s located 20 minutes from Ubud and is just a short drive into town on a scooter. The villa is located off the main road in a nice quiet area. I can’t recommend this property enough, book it!!
The place was exactly as its looks and more! I Wayan was an amazing host, always attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing time, however only a short drive into the centre of Ubud. If you’re up early enough you may be able to watch the wild monkeys jumping from tree to tree.

The bamboo villa is an incredible experience! My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we are so grateful to Wayan and his family for hosting us. We have stayed many airbnbs and hotels, but this was the nicest we have ever stayed at. The jungle and rice paddies are calm and peaceful, away from the noise of tourism in the Ubud city center, but it is still possible to order a grab car to the villa or request transportation from the host which makes getting to destinations convenient. Would love to come back!

Es war wirklich alles super unkompliziert und sehr schön, genau wie auf den Bildern. Die Villa ist schön abgelegen und Wayan hat uns jederzeit überall hingefahren. Wir haben mit ihm auch eine tolle zweitägige Ubudtour gemacht. Der Zimmerservice war auch super freundlich. Alle waren sehr lieb und zuvorkommend. Der Aufenthalt war wirklich perfekt!
The place and surroundings are as beautiful as the pictures, lush environment, beautiful gardens, many different types of butterfly’s passing through. Wayan was the perfect host, the breakfasts were delicious, I recommend trying both the Indonesian and the American styles 🤤 Ketut was also the perfect host. And Wayan’s lovely son Putu took us back to Kuta on the final day, teaching us some of the Balinese and Indonesian language as we travelled visiting the luwak coffee plantation and prapen jewellery works. Even if you don’t have money to spend it’s worth a look, there are some stunning pieces there. Suksuma to you all 🙏❤️
Such a beautiful place in a cozy small village. Wayan and his family are truly wholesome and very helpful. They always make sure everything is okay. The villa and garden are unbelievably pretty, beyond expectation. It’s definitely worth spending some time here to relax, away from the chaos
Let me start by saying this, the pictures dont do the place justice. Its far more beautiful in a living breathing sort of way. Every aspect of villa is so pretty and wonderfully well maintained. We felt right at home and the staff as well as wayan took so good care of us. They went out of way to help us. It was worth every penny. We will always cherish our stay there.

La mejor estancia en la que hemos estado en todo nuestro viaje. En primer lugar, la casa es preciosa, con vistas a la selva y tuvimos la suerte de ver monos, ardillas por lo que se cumplió el sueño de amanecer en la selva con vistas espectaculares. Por otro lado la casa cuidada al máximo detalle. Tanto Wayan como su familia fueron encantadores e incluso organizaron un día para llevarnos a ver el amanecer en el norte de Bali, nos llevó hacer la actividad de los Quad que queríamos y una purificación en Tirta empul cuando no había nadie, que disfrutamos muchísimo. También nos llevó a una plantación y probamos el café de “luwak”. Esto hizo que aprovecháramos ese día al completo. También nos ayudó en el alquiler de una moto a través de el y todo de lujo, tuvimos además un problema con la moto y todo se solucionó de la mejor manera dejándonos tranquilos en todo momento. Estamos muy agradecidos y seguro que repetiremos. Lo mejor de lo mejor haber dado con Wayan y su alojamiento.

Nous avons été très bien accueillies par I Wayan. Il est d’une gentillesse remarquable, nous a proposé son aide pour les activités et les lieux insolites à voir autour de notre villa. Il nous a conduit pendant 2 jours et nous a également déposé à l’aéroport tôt le matin le jour de notre départ. La villa était similaire à celle que nous avions vu sur les photos. Wayan se mostró en todo momento atento y dispuesto a hacer nuestra estadía más fácil y agradable. Como guía nos mostró lugares que solo los locales conocen lo cual hizo nuestra experiencia más auténtica y también nos facilitó todo lo necesario, desde transporte privado, refrescantes cocos, hasta moto de alquiler con entrega en el mismo alojamiento. Es una persona encantadora tanto él como su familia y como alojamiento es también un 10. Esta en plena naturaleza por lo que es probable encontrar alguna rana o geco pero eso hace todo más auténtico!! Sin duda lugar para repetir.

Die Unterkunft war super. Wir haben Wayan sehr gerne. Er ist super nett und hat super Tipps für die Umgebung! Die Unterkunft war wirklich empfehlenswert, da sie etwas abgelegener und dadurch wie wir fanden auch ruhiger gelegen war. Das einzige, was wir vielleicht bemängeln könnten, waren die Bauarbeiten und der Tempeldienst, was morgens etwas lauter war, aber für uns vollkommen ok. Also eine wirklich wunderschöne Unterkunft , die äußerst zu empfehlen ist mit einem super engagiertem Gastgeber.

Ich kann kaum in Worte fassen, wie sehr uns die Zeit in der Villa gefallen hat. Die Bilder sind schon wunderschön, können jedoch nicht die wahre Schönheit dieses traumhaften Ortes festhalten. Wayan und seine Familie sind so unfassbar freundlich und dankbar, so eine Gastfreundschaft habe ich zuvor noch nicht erfahren dürfen. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und wird jeden Tag frisch von der Familie zubereitet. Die Villa liegt etwas außerhalb mitten im Dschungel, ein Roller kann ausgeliehen werden. Das Fahren in dieser Umgebung macht jede Menge Spaß! Kurzum kann ich diese Unterkunft wirklich jedem wärmstens ans Herz legen. Wayan bietet zusätzlich Touren als Guide an. Wer eine Unterkunft sucht, um die Seele einmal wirklich baumeln lassen zu können und das paradiesisch schöne, ruhige Ubud sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Vielen Dank für diese wunderbare Zeit, wir werden sie nie vergessen!!

Alejado del bullicio pero al lado de todas las atracciones turísticas importantes. El desayuno está incluido, puedes elegir entre occidental o local. Wayan, el anfitrión, de lo mejorcito que hay en Bali, amable, atento, generoso, recomendaba lugares auténticos en los que estás completamente solo, sin turistas ni masificaciones. Es war alles wie erwartet und noch besser! Die Villa ist traumhaft wie auf den Fotos zu sehen. Darüber hinaus sind die Gastgeber extrem nett und hilfsbereit und man fühlt sich jeden Moment willkommen. The place is absolutely stunning. I have never been somewhere this beautiful. I was looking for a place immersed in nature and away from everything, and this was it. Nearby villages were reachable on foot, although I had a scooter. Ubud was 15-20 minutes by scooter, and I enjoyed the ride. Wayan has been an absolute angel, he took great care of me and was easily available in case I needed anything. Breakfast was included, abundant and delicious! Everything was impeccable. When travelling to Ubud I wanted to feel lost in a jungle surrounded by peace and nature… this villa was exactly that. Such a beautiful location, the build of the villa was also stunning. Wayan was an incredible host, free fresh coconut every day, as well as breakfast which was made fresh every day. I wish I was still there.
