Exploring Spacious Modern Suite with Private Pool left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Spacious Modern Suite with Private Pool was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kecamatan Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Spacious Modern Suite with Private Pool painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

The villa is very beautiful and peaceful, and it was extremely clean. The hosts were exceptionally polite, friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. From the photos, I initially thought the villa was a standalone unit, but it turned out to be an apartment with a private pool and a small view. The location is a bit far from restaurants and other services. Breakfast is served at 8:30 AM, which was a bit late for me. There are a few lovely dogs owned by the villa’s host; they are friendly and harmless, though they tend to bark when you enter or leave the property. Although I later found other places offering better value for the same dates I booked, it didn’t significantly affect my overall experience. In summary, the place is very charming, the hosts are wonderful, and I would definitely consider visiting again.

Absolutely a positive experience. The host is extremely friendly, and it felt like relatives were hosting me. Highly recommended for solo travellers. Very quiet place but near Ubud centre. The staff has been helpful throughout my stay. They organise the motorbike rental and laundry service. Thank you!

Onze verblijf bij Jero was echt goed. We waren super tevreden over de kamer en de hygiëne. Het personeel en de eigenaar van de villa zijn ook super vriendelijk en doen echt hun best voor je dat jij je goed en op je gemak voelt. Elke dag werd er schoongemaakt en als wij extra behoeftes hadden zoals de was brengen werd dit geregeld. De communicatie en de vriendelijkheid was goed en ik zou zeker aanraden om hier te komen.

It was just everything! For my wife and I to be on our honeymoon and to have this oasis and private space! To top it all off, we are the only ones in the villa! It has been such an amazing experience that we extended our stay by an additional three days !

We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud. The villa is tucked away in a peaceful, luxurious area that’s close enough to the center of Ubud to be convenient, yet far enough away to feel like a true escape. Waking up to the sounds of nature every morning was one of our favorite parts of the trip. You can tell this property was thoughtfully designed. From the architecture to the room layout, everything feels intentional, comfortable, and incredibly welcoming. It isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s a place you can truly settle into and relax. Breakfast was exceptional. The spiced rice with the fried egg on top was one of the best breakfasts we had in Bali, and every recommendation from the hosts was spot on. Jero and Gaye were very friendly. We had a great stay at their place. A couple of things to note are 1. It is a little far from Ubud center (10-15 mins on scooter) 2. The toilet doesn't have a door or a curtain. It opens into the room

Very warm welcome from Jero and her team, and the owners, Frank and Gaye, who recommended many good local bars and restaurants. Spacious immaculate accommodation in a beautiful and peaceful countryside location, just outside Ubud, which is very easy to get to with a Grab. Enjoyed an afternoon walk with Frank and his dogs down to the 11th Century temple. Great local massage within walking distance. Would highly recommend and we are hoping to return as we would have liked to stay longer.

Jero and team was absolutely amazing! Can't thank the team enough to make my family feel like home at their place. We love how quiet the entire surrounding was and was so convenient with a gojek getting around. Food they prepared was so yummy too! We will definitely be back the next time when we are in Ubud! As Muslims, we really appreciated their understanding and consideration—they made sure dogs were kept away from us and from our villa, which meant a lot to us. We were extremely happy with this villa and with every single detail of our stay. Everything was perfect, and we felt very comfortable and respected. We highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay, you will be staying with the host but he will be in another room. Quite convenient to the center of Ubud. If you need a grab car, it can be quite hard to get one because the roads do not really support cars, so get a bike instead. Accommodation is nice and really pristine.

Rama Gaia was beautiful, quiet, and close to Ubud shops and restaurants! Just a note that the villa is shared with the host who is lovely.

房子私密性很高，位置也蛮不错的就是离乌布中心有一段距离开车大概十到二十分钟，因为巴厘岛的交通太差了，建议租一个摩托车比较方便。总体来说房子真的很不错，价格也便宜，很干净，Jero和房东特别热情地一直帮助我们，帮我们联系了接机的服务。如果想要逃离城市生活真的很建议来这边体验一下，远离喧嚣的宁静感！小小建议：房间空间比较大，但是只有一个垃圾桶不是很方便，尤其马桶周围也没有垃圾桶，作为女性来月经期间非常不方便。同时可能是由于沟通的问题，在入住之前有询问过房价是否包含早餐，当时得到的回复是包含的，但是后来在第二天吃早餐时发现都是要额外收费的。如果想要吃早餐的朋友最好提前和他们打好招呼因为早餐准备时间比较久，户外虫子也比较多。巴厘岛真是个非常美丽的地方，很遗憾这次我们只呆了几天，下次一定多呆一段时间深度体验一下。很谢谢你们招待我们！

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. Extreme attention to detail was taken for nearly everything and was appreciated. The location is close to Ubud and was perfect for popping in and out of the city each day. The food was great and the owners were lovely when we crossed paths. Bonus that there were a few household dogs to enjoy!

This place gets 5 stars from me for its clean environment and hospitality! I will say that I missed the part in the description where the space is shared and has dogs but it is in there! I love pets but only didn't want to feel like I was waking anyone up when arriving late when they would bark. Other than that this stay was an amazing first experience in Ubud ❤️

Where do I start. Putu, Jero, and the rest of the staff at Rama Gaia were incredibly kind, warm, helpful, and patient. A special shoutout to Dewa as well who was our driver provided by the villa and is the most patient and kind man I have ever met. Putu is an incredibly gracious and generous host with lots of great recommendations and endless hospitality. Jero and the rest of the staff at the villa are very helpful and were extremely respectful of my wife and I during our stay for our honeymoon. Not a single insect or animal or anything that got in the villa, but yet it is in the middle of the most luscious and private jungle garden I have ever witnessed. I definitely want to come back to Bali and to visit Ubud again in the future just so I can stay at this villa!

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful villa with our 15-month old. We ended up renting a little crib from a third party company for the baby which allowed for a very comfortable time and were grateful for the hosts' flexibility. The villa is about 12-15 mins (with traffic) from Central Ubud but its private and comfortable enough to spend time in. The area does get quite dark at night but wasn't a problem for us as we were already back from our day trips by sunset. After reading all the reviews about Jero's nasi goreng, it truly lived up to the hype. The housekeeping is an added bonus. The room is well equipped - ideal for a couple or solo traveller. The hosts and all staff are incredibly friendly and willing to share local cultural nuances. Would definitely stay here again. Waking up the sounds of nature, looking out at the pool and colourful garden was the best part for us.

Jero and Putu were AMAZING hosts. Great people with great hearts. If you’re an animal lover, you will love this stay, they rescue local animals. The breakfast had the best rice we had in UBud and their driver Dewa is so helpful and made our stay even better. The room was spotless and the private pool was a great touch. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. Jero was amazing giving us recommendations and organising a driver before we even arrived. The villa is stunning and the hospitality wonderful. Our breakfasts each morning were so tasty and we felt so special being the only guests. Putu was lovely to talk to about the local area and giving us more ideas about where to go. We did a couple day trips and went into Ubud for the shopping and restaurants. You need to get a ride into town but it is so easy and I was very glad we stayed away from the craziness of Ubud. We had a wonderful one-night stay at Rama Gaia Villa in Ubud. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful—just like in the pictures. One of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in. The place looks better than the photos. The food - absolutely incredible. Putu was an amazing host that went above and beyond. Dewa was also an incredible tour guide who was very knowledgeable and made my trip that much more memorable. I will 100% stay here again when in Ubud.

There's so much good to say! The hosts were friendly and so helpful. They were able to recommend transportation, food, apps, and things to do while in Bali, all before we even got there. They woke up in the middle of the night to greet us and guide us around the room when we checked in. The gentleman they suggested for a driver was amazing! The room was beautiful and the pool private. It was so nice to come back to the pool after a long hot day of exploring Bali. Although it's located in the rainforest it's within walking distance of many good restaurants and very close to many must see sights. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly, kind, and were so helpful when I had a sprained ankle. Whatever they used to massage my foot helped it heal within a day! I cannot recommend them enough. I've already told my friends and family they should use this host if they ever go to Bali, and we plan to use them again if we get the chance to go back. This property was 5 stars and beyond. We booked last minute and spent 2 nights in complete comfort. It is clean and pristine with the room cleaned daily from top to bottom. It is private and luxurious. We slept like babies and were kept cool from the Bali heat! The host and staff are kind and friendly. Putu provided us with plenty of info on food and activities. Would definitely recommend or book again.

Summary: Excellent stay in a beautiful space with extremely nice and helpful host, close via scooter/car to main hub of Ubud! Loved it!! I was traveling alone in Bali and I felt very comfortable and happy at this stay. Even before I arrived, Putu, the owner, sent me lots of recommendations for things to do in Ubud, and was available for questions as I was making my way there. Putu greeted me on arrival with his very friendly dogs and villa staff. The villa is incredibly beautiful, nestled in a picturesque grove. The room was large & clean, more than enough for one person and looked even spacious for two. The villa is close via scooter or car to a main hub area of Ubud, Goutama St. There are excursions I went on that seemed easy to get to from the stay, as well. The complimentary breakfast included a traditional Balinese dish, nasi goreng, which was delicious. A great start to a day full of walking around. Overall, I LOVED my time here and would definitely recommend and stay again!

Wir hatten eine sehr tolle Zeit in der Villa. Es wurde täglich alle gereinigt. Das Frühstück war lecker und die Lage super, für alle die ruhiger wohnen, aber dennoch in paar Minuten die belebte Umgebung erreichen wollen. Man fühlt sich einfach wie zu Hause, weil Putu auch jederzeit für dich da ist und ganz viele Tipps hat.

It was a great experience staying at Jero’s place. The place nice luxuries with good touches. The amenities were pretty good with nice finishes. The staff were just amazing. Amongst the best service i have received. The breakfast was also super delicious. The place is not very walkable to the downtown but you can take a scooter there in about 5 mins. Overall I highly recommend this place.

My partner and I were delighted with our stay at Rama Gaia. The villa was immaculate and looked just like the photos. The owners have created a completely secluded hide-away for couples to relax in total privacy. The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. We especially appreciated the combination of air-con and ceiling fan which was very effective at keeping us cool! The location of the villa is only a short distance from Ubud shops and bars (less than 5mins by Gojek) yet the villa was very quiet and peaceful at all times of the day. Jaro was very attentive and welcomed us in person on arrival and Frank the owner gave us lots of ideas about places to visit. We only intended to stay 3 nights but loved it so much that we stayed 5. We are planning to come back next year 💜 Highly recommend staying here.

Die Unterkunft selbst war makellos sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und bot alles, was wir für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt benötigten. Diese Ferienunterkunft ist mehr als nur ein Ort zum Übernachten - sie ist ein Zuhause fernab von Zuhause, das wir immer in unseren Herzen tragen werden. Wir können es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen!" Ein Dank auch noch mal an Frank, der uns ganz unkompliziert und schnell einen Roller besorgt hat, damit wir die Umgebung erkunden konnten. Stayed here for two days. The staff was beyond amazing. Before arriving they were super responsive also was able to fulfill all my request. They went above and beyond. The decorations for my birthday were so nice. The place looks exactly like the pictures so beautiful. Everything you need for your room is here they even have international plugs. They have the best fresh juice and breakfast. The floating breakfast was so beautiful. They went above and beyond with cleaning while we were out. Just an amazing stay I definitely recommend.

This place was perfect! It was like a luxury hotel, but with an intimate, charming environment with the friendliest people. This is a home I would love to visit again and I would stay much longer! My husband and I travelled to Bali for the first time. We had a wonderful 4night stay at Rama Gaia. It’s such a peaceful place with charming architecture and beautiful greenery. I think this would be a perfect villa for couples wanting to stay in a beautiful, peaceful environment. Jero and the staff at the villa are a very thoughtful team of people, they looked after us really well, and we loved the food especially the complimentary breakfast you get each morning. Our Villa was very romantic and the photo’s honestly don’t do it any justice because it was so beautiful and cleaned every day. In fact, I didn’t want to leave to be honest! Upon arrival we opened up our room that decorated with flower arrangements to congratulate us on our 10year wedding anniversary!! It was so thoughtful and we highly recommend this place to everyone travelling to Bali. Putu the owner has been such an amazing host and we will definitely see you all again on our next trip to Bali!!!! Till next time!

Wir hatten den besten Aufenthalt hier bei Putu in der Villa. Alle Service Kräfte sind unglaublich freundlich und haben uns bei allem geholfen. Die Villa ist so sauber und der Pool wunderschön. Auch der Eigentümer Putu ist ein herzlicher Mensch und wir haben uns sehr gut mit ihm unterhalten. Es war die beste Villa in der wir jemals waren. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und lecker. Das Zimmer ist mit wirklich allem ausgestattet was man braucht, es fehlt an nichts! Die beiden Hunde sind auch super süß und passen auf die Villa auf. Wir können einfach nichts schlechtes sagen, da es der schönste Aufenthalt war bisher in Bali. Falls ihr eine Unterkunft sucht, empfehlen wir diese Villa! Vielen Dank an alle für den wundervollen und perfekten Aufenthalt!Wie eine große Familie dort und wir haben uns so zuhause gefühlt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder.

El lugar es encantador, en mitad de la selva (aunque cerca del centro de Ubud si coges moto o Grab), el entorno de la Villa lo tienen muy cuidado y precioso. Los trabajadores son geniales, siempre serviciales y nos encantó la manera que tuvieron de dejarnos cada día la habitación, super ordenada y limpia. El anfitrión muy amable y dispuesto a ayudarte si lo necesitas. Quizás el camino está muy oscuro de noche y por eso decidimos coger “Grab” cuando anochecía, no es seguro transitarlo a pie.

Putu war ein toller Gastgeber, er war immer für ein nettes Gespräch und einen Tipp zu haben. An unserem ersten Tag hat er uns mit zu einer traditionellen Zeremonie genommen und dadurch für einen besonderen Empfang gesorgt. Die Villa war toll und sehr geräumig, der Pool lädt zum verweilen ein. Durch die Nähe zu Ubud kann problemlos mit dem Roller in die Stadt fahren. Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der Wahl und haben uns gefreut Putu kennenzulernen.

Io e mia moglie abbiamo passato alcuni giorni della luna di miele nella villa di Putu e siamo rimasti contentissimi. Lui è molto simpatico e pronto a cindividerti consigli utili, tutto il team che lavora nella villa è incredibile. La casa si trova a 10 min in motorino da Ubud, in un paesino molto autentico e pieno di persone cordialissime. Se tranquillità e autenticità è quello che cercate, è il posto che fa per voi.

Frank and his team delivered the perfect blend of Balinese and Aussie hospitality. Spotless, convenient, soft touches to delight, and attention to detail. I would stay here again the next time in Ubud.

We had a great stay. The villa is very clean and looks like in the pictures. Putu and his team are very nice and good hosts. We would definitely recommend this villa.

My wife and I had a great stay at Putu's. From the start, him and his staff were very welcoming and friendly. He provided us recommendations regarding activities and restaurants. We used the tour guide he recommended, Widhi, who was fantastic. The villa is amazing; the pool is a perfect touch. It is not far from Ubud center city but it is not walkable. We easily took taxis back and forth, which was very easy to do. I would highly recommend staying at Putu's, it was truly a pleasure spending a few days here.

Rama Gaia was amazing. Being 5min from the center of town was perfect. Close enough to scooter to, but quiet for the end of the day. The host and his staff go above and beyond. They were all friendly and extremely helpful with everything from renting a scooter, to getting masseuses to come to the villa, coordinating laundry services, and local recommendations.

My husband and I just spent 5 wonderful days at Villa Rama Gaia and would go back immediately if we could. The owner Frank and his staff are all so welcoming and accommodating, they provided us with a scooter, helped us with laundry and plenty of recommendations for Ubud and beyond. Breakfast at the villa is delicious and the room is absolutely spotless. The bed is probably one of the most comfortable ones I have ever slept in outside of my own house. The location is great if you are looking for something a little outside of the city center and therefore more quiet and private. But don’t worry, all the nice restaurants and spas and temples etc in Ubud downtown are just 10 min away. Long story short, we can 100% recommend this place and would come back anytime. The Villa was fantastic. It was the perfect honeymoon spot and Putu and his staff made sure everything perfect. He was super helpful, a joy to talk to and an all around wonderful host. Will definitely be coming back and staying here again.

The place even looks better in reality. Everything was perfect and Putu was very helpful from the beginning. The staff in the villa were very friendly and the cleaning service was top notch. The location of the villa is perfect , very quite but at the same time close to Ubud centre (5-10 mins by scooter). Very high standard place. This is was our first trip to Bali and we could not have picked the perfect place to start our 2 weeks holidays. The location of this villa is only 10 mins away by drive or by scooter but definitely the right place to get away from busy central Ubud. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff is super duper friendly (generally Balinese people are super nice). Frank and Gaye have been very helpful throughout whenever we needed them. They managed to organise a floating breakfast on request to celebrate MRS birthday and every dish was delicious😋. I would highly recommend this Villa due to the Host, the property, staff, food, location and of course for their dog (Missy). We hope to visit Bali again and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Frank and Gaye for making this trip memorable for us 🙂

Wow, what can we say? Frank and Gay’s home is breathtaking. We have never stayed in such a beautiful accommodation. Fresh flowers, welcome drinks, home cooked breakfasts, filtered water on tap, beautiful linen, great recommendations, scooter hire, mini bar, serenity was all on offer. The amazing space of bedroom, bathroom and lounge area was welcoming and luxurious. Thoughtful details everywhere including fresh daily towels and fruit, filtered cold water, kimonos and towels for the inviting plunge pool. There is a beautiful feeling of relaxation and calmness when you set foot inside. Breakfasts were home cooked to perfection, fresh fruit, tea and coffee and served in a lovely area looking out across tropical gardens. The gentle sounds of a water feature and Balinese music only adds to the pure delight of these surroundings. 1000 characters is not enough to write everything I want to. Thanks to F,G,J and W for being such lovely hosts. We will see you in 2024! 🙏🏻

Had an amazing time at Rama Gaia. Frank was so helpful and provided many recommendations - all which were great. The location is a bit out of the center, but I preferred this as it was quiet and peaceful and surrounded by plants. A quick scooter ride into town so it’s not a worry. The place itself was extremely clean and well looked after.

Absolutely loved staying here. The room was beautiful and perfectly sized, let alone the gorgeous patio with private pool. The host was easy to communicate and connect with allowing for a better understanding of the the culture in Bali. He and the staff were also very helpful and accommodating when additional assistance was needed. I would not only recommend this place but would certainly return should I ever find myself back in this beautiful destination.

Everything about out stay was perfect and it was nothing short of amazing. We had the warmest greeting from Frank and he made us feel at home right away. The Villa is even better in person - the room is spacious, clean and luxurious. There were robes, a water dispenser and free fruit and drinks daily!! The location of the villa was perfect and very peaceful. Frank is a great person and host. He went above and beyond with everything we needed and even invited us to have a drink with him, which we spent hours chatting. He has great knowledge of the culture and had some great stories to tell. He gave us recommendations for transport, activities and restaurants. The staff were amazing and so friendly and the breakfast everyday was incredible. The only negative thing is that we didn’t stay longer! Frank, the team and the villa left an ever lasting memory of Ubud.

Best Villa around! Thanks for having us! This villas is so nice that we changed our plans to allow us to stay here twice during our trip to Bali! Our hosts both felt like family. We can’t wait to visit again with our mates! Try their floating basket; it’s great!!

A 10-20 minute drive from central Ubud (depending on how hideous the traffic is, which appears to be almost always). The upside of Frank’s location is you’re away from the crazy traffic noise and pollution of Ubud. The potential downside is, if you haven’t hired a car or moped, the location can feel isolating. Not to worry though! Frank’s truly awesome friend (Wadhi) provides taxi services. As a genuine entrepreneur, you can also book all sorts of excursions and day trips through her business. Accommodation is perfectly spotless and just as you see in the photos. Frank is very friendly and constantly available, should you need him, whether it’s for a recommendation or a general chat. If you want a quiet night in, you can book food to be delivered through the Grab app (but give at least 1hr for delivery - whatever the app says!). Final thought, don’t use the bedroom safe - it doesn’t like giving you your stuff back! 😉 Besides, this place feels perfectly safe. Enjoy!

I have too many positive things to say about our stay at GR Villas. The hosts both Gayle and Frank/Putu are very engaging and entertaining people (I’m not surprised they are super hosts)! They provided local activities to try; in a very detailed list prior to arriving. They are both very friendly and knowledgeable people about the area and the local people. they make you feel like family; as if you are staying in your home away from home. The room was better than the images available on the listing! The Villa was white glove clean! They provide an automated water cooler in the room along with a refrigerator that contained some complimentary and some with a cost snacks. (It really comes in handy and the fee for snacks are reasonable). The staff at the villa are perfectly helpful and prepare perfectly Indonesian style breakfast every morning (did I say perfect? yes PERFECT). We enjoyed our time at the villa and definitely will return again! Lastly! The pool was spectacular!

Everything was great! Felt right at home and the owners are so helpful and personable. Location was close to everything and renting mopeds was awesome. Super clean and great pool and sweet staff

It was such an amazing time staying in Rama Gaia Villa. The place is really quiet, peaceful and spotlessly clean. Perfect escape from the hustle and bustle in the city. Great shower. We love the interior design and lighting in the room. The host is very friendly and responsive. There are couple good restaurants around. The housekeepers are very cheerful and they cook the best Nasi goreng! Widhi is really helpful when it comes to arranging day-trips and activities to do in Ubud. We would highly recommend the place!

I don’t even know where to start, from the second we arrived at Rama Gaia frank and his lovely team made us feel right at home, being Australian frank was easy to communicate with and gave us multiple different ideas on where to eat, drink and visit, he also set us up with scooter hire and one was delivered within minutes of us arriving. The place was immaculate and looks exactly like the photos. Everything is very well thought out ig, water dispenser (so much more convenient then having to source your own), PowerPoints that are universal, mosquito net around the bed, the list could go on but this is something thoughtful that stands out compared to other villas we’ve stayed in. The pool and the outside area is so tranquil and quiet, you feel like there is no one else around. They also do breakfast which was beautiful. We only stayed for 2 nights but could have stayed forever, very sad to leave. Thanks again frank and staff, we hope to see you again 💕💕

Putu is the guy everyone should book his villa... not just because villa is 10 out of 10...he was very friendly and very helpful with everything! Been so many times to Bali but Putu made my Bali trip outstanding!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! 😀

The hosts and staff are both the sweetest people! We were given plenty of recommendations of things to try and see in the area, definitely one of the more calm areas in Ubud. Staff gave us an option for breakfast every morning as well and enjoyed interacting with us. If we ever visit Ubud again, we will be coming back here!

It feels like home. Great place to be.

This was a beautiful and peaceful place. You are in a quiet and remote village. There isn't really anything in walking distance, you will need a motobike or local transport to get to town, which isn't far. The room itself is beautiful and feels luxurious. The pool felt nice, especially an early morning cold plunge. You are in the jungle, so keep in mind you will see insects. Overall, it was such a comforting place to stay. Frank and Gaye were worderful hosts. Communication was easy and Frank gave lots of recommendations on restaurants and places to see. I ended up staying a few extra days and the hosts went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.

Book your stay here now. Seriously this was the most comfortable stay that we had in Indonesia and we stayed in 8 different locations before ending up in the heaven that is RAMA GAIA. It was hard to leave this beautiful spot. The pool is delightful, breakfast delicious, hosts are welcoming, top tier service and comfort.

We had such a great stay at Frank&Gaye’s place. It’s a bit further away from Ubud centre (about 20min drive), but it was absolutely the perfect retreat to come back to after long days exploring the city. The place is very tastefully finished and had so many little details that add to it: unlimited water, fruit bowl, little coffee station. The included breakfasts are incredible! The hosts are very nice and really take the time to chat and provide great recommendations. Thanks so much for having us- we had an incredible time!

We had a lovely stay in the Rama Gaya villa of Frank and Gaye for two nights. The room is absolutely wonderful and clean, gives you a sense of peace and serenity while still being close to the city of Ubud. It’s a 5 star villa with a homey feel. Nice pool, bed, and a lot of space. The rainshower is also great after a long day. Frank and Gaye are great and will help you with everything to ensure you have an even better stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Could not recommend this villa more! The only thing to consider is that you will hear some sounds of insects, but I would recommend that you enjoy it since you’re in Ubud :). Thanks Frank and Gaye for a lovely stay.

The place looks exactly like the pictures in Airbnb. We found it to be perfect balance of western comforts within tropical nature. Breakfast was delicious every day and staff is warm and courteous. Frank and Gaye have put lot of thought in every tiny thing that makes stay with them delightful... like universal plug sockets everywhere so that you don't need converter adapter for your devices... curated home delivery menus and services to order from... minibar, instant noodles and fresh fruts for those hunger pangs. It's extremely well maintained and there is zero compromise on guest experience. Entire garden and plants are beautiful and smartly planned to provide privacy. Architecture is minimalistic and yet aesthetic with some gorgeous art pieces at right locations. Both Frank and Gaye were very warm and cooperative. We had fun chatting with them and clicking some beautiful pics together. I wish I had booked their place for more days. It felt like a beautiful home for the days we stays Perhaps I may have to plan Bali trip again soon 😀

We stayed a week in the beautiful Rama Gaia Villa of Frank and Gaye. TL;DR: It was awesome/overwhelming, the villa is luxurious and modern, the service including the breakfast is very good and Frank and Gaye as host are kind, delightful and helpful. The arrival was super easy - the communication for the arrival was easy and without any problems. We took a grab to the accommodation and found it immediately. Arrival: As soon as we arrived there, Gaye warmly welcomed us and gave us a short tour through the our room of the villa. She was very kind and introduced the staff which will clean the room. The staff is very kind as well. We have quickly taken both into our hearts. Room/Villa: Inside the Villa is a separate room for the guests (currently in the second floor). The room and private pool are even more beautiful and luxurious than in the pictures. We were very amazed and surprised. It is very tastefully decorated and includes everything you need for your stay. It is very modern and new. Service: The staff daily cleaned the room and provided fresh towels. Fresh flowers and blossoms are sometimes arranged. You can see that the staff is very happy to do it. Every morning there is fresh breakfast and tea/coffee. Both are of high quality and we enjoyed them every day. Host (Frank & Gaye): We talked to them every day, always courteous but never pushy. It was very nice, friendly and cordial at all times. No matter if you need a good restaurant or a scooter - they helped us immediately and gave some tips. We wish them (and the staff) only the very best and would be happy to see them again. Minor minus point: If there are two of you and someone has to go to the bathroom, it's a little hard with privacy. But one can wait in the time on the terrace :D

The villa is one of the most amazing Airbnbs we've ever stayed at. Located a little bit outside of the center of Ubud you are living surrounded by beautiful nature. But with the scooter, that you can rent easily at the villa, you are in the middle of everything within 5 minutes. Every morning you'll get a great breakfast so that you can stay in and enjoy the comfort of the villa. We loved to hang out at our private pool after breakfast before we went out to explore Ubud and the neighborhood. If you decide to stay in after a tiring day of exploring Frank and Gaye offering you some really good delivery menus so that you can get great food even without leaving the villa again. The bed is very comfortable and a lot of towels are provided as well as slippers and dressing gowns. If you should still missing something, I'm sure Frank and Gaye will try their best to make sure everything is just perfect for you! So if you get the opportunity to book this beautiful villa - take it!

We would recommend this place 100%. We felt really welcomed by Frank and his wife. The communication was easy and fast all the time. We received many recommendations which was great and they were always open for a chat, what we loved. Breakfast was delicious as well. The place is magical. It is really quiet but still near to ubud city with a motorbike. Spacious room with the highest standard that we had in Bali. It was cleaned by a lovely house keeping lady. They also organize a pick up and motorbikes for your from their friendly neighbour Dewa.

Same as the picture, the room was perfect, 5 stars hotel service with warm greetings from hosts and staff. 10-15 min drive from ubud centre, if you are looking for a peaceful place in the centre of Bali, this is the place !

Not much can be said after you have a perfect stay at Rama Gaia - a true slice of paradise in the heart of Ubud, Bali. Frank & Gaye (and the whole team) have built a beautiful villa. Luxurious, clean, and great proximity to the city centre of Ubud. Mornings were an absolute delight as we were treated to a scrumptious breakfast from Jero. The unit itself was immaculate - wall chargers were universal, and it was fully equipped with a fridge, distilled water, and air conditioning. Small details such as pool towels, a hair dryer, and shampoo/conditioner did not go unnoticed! The private pool was a true highlight - well maintained with beautiful landscaping and upkeep. Most of all, the hosts and their entire team (Jero, Dewa, Widhi) ensured we had a wonderful time in Ubud! Widhi was always available to take us via car for sightseeing/drop-offs, and the option to rent scooters was also available. We would not hesitate one bit to stay here again!

The room is located in a semi remote but not too far from town part of Ubud surrounded by beautiful jungle and landscaping you can sit back and view from your own private plunge pool. The room itself is massive and spacious and obviously recently built to a very high standard. The bed was super comfortable. There is a large TV with android/Netflix etc available as well as some adorable friendly animals around the house. The hosts are originally from Australia and very kind and welcoming while giving us plenty of privacy. I would highly recommend this property and will be staying again next time we're in Ubud.

Rama Gaia was an absolutely pleasure to stay at! Frank, Gaye and their team have curated an experience that is both welcoming and professional. Easy access to Ubud via scooter they had plenty of amazing recommendations for food and local info. Recommended highly and will be back for sure!

This villa is the best of Bali with western comforts! I will definitely recommend to book without hesitation . The pictures cannot do it justice! This was the perfect start to my trip, i loved it so much I am returning at the end of my trip to finish it off! The villa is extremely private, clean, spacious yet cosy. It is luxurious and beautiful. The room is well equipped, bed comfortable, ample seating, ample plug sockets fitting various adapter types, great shower. There is a water machine providing hot and cold water! Smart tv with netflix, prime, etc. good wifi also. The pool area is beautiful. Dewa is a great, thoughtful host, its his home and you can see the pride and thought put into it! Examples of thoughtfulness and being accommodating - adding a chair to dressing table area without being asked after seeing my makeup setup, storing our luggage for us until we return. Jercho’s (sorry if I’ve spelt it wrong) omelettes and breakfast smoothies are so tasty! Its set in a beautiful village area surrounded by green and only a 10/15 min drive from the centre! They have a driver available at reasonable rates, grab cars are also available. Thank you so much dewa for being so accommodating and can’t wait to be back with you at the end of the week. Would 100% stay here again! The location was great, just a short scooter ride from the centre of Ubud and your in the piece and quiet of this lovely villa. With a tropical feel the environment is lovely the room was modern, very Clean and spacious and the bed was very comfy. Great shower with all essentials handy (water dispenser, coffee, shampoo/bodywash eat.) Dewa was a great host, always happy to help with anything and gave us some great recommendations, going above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.
