Exploring The Avlu · Modern Spa Retreat left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of The Avlu · Modern Spa Retreat was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Kediri plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for The Avlu · Modern Spa Retreat painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Booked this villa for my in-laws and they absolutely loved it! When I visited, I knew straight away it was an incredible place. It’s fully equipped with a sauna, cold plunge, and gym, and everything feels modern, clean, and homey. We will definitely be back! :)
Beautiful villa, we had a great time there. The owner is very responsive and the helps are very attentive. We would love to come back.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette villa. le sauna hammam et bain nordique et la salle de sport sont un vrai plus pour cette villa. grâce au baie vitré vous pouvez vraiment vivre entièrement dehors tout au long de votre séjour. Je recommande à 100%.
Best Airbnb ever! Beautifully designed space great for a group of friends or even families. It was super clean and well equipped with great linens, a washer and dryer, in house sauna steamer and ice bath and gym! We didn't wanna leave the space. The villa is surrounded by paddy fields and there are some restaurants and coffee shops within walkable distance. It was really peaceful and near the local community. Dedo was an amazing host, gave us a warm welcome and even sent us off. All the little details really made our stay so memorable! He gave us a house tour when we arrived at night, with clear instructions on how to navigate the facilities, welcome juice, and even catered to our laundy needs. He also tried his best to help when we left something in the airbnb after check out! Will return for this vila! Highly recommend!
Absolutely Unreal Stay – One of the Best Airbnbs We've Ever Experienced From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was special. Dedo and the entire team were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. The villa exceeded every expectation. It was beautifully designed, spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms felt luxurious, and every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The amenities were exceptional. The gym, steam room, sauna, and cold plunge made every day feel like a wellness retreat. The pool was fantastic for families, and the team even arranged pool fencing for extra peace of mind. Outstanding service, stunning design, and incredible facilities combined to create a truly memorable stay. We've stayed in many Airbnbs around the world, and this is genuinely one of the best. We can't recommend it highly enough and are already looking forward to returning to Kedungu
My wife, friends, and I stayed here for a wedding in the area, and it was the perfect place for our group of five to call home. The photos don’t do it justice, and everything about the place felt premium, from the bathrooms to the beds. It’s clear they took good care when designing it. And with the entire spa setup, gym, and pool, leaving the villa was actually difficult to do. Last but not least, Dedo and his team’s service took our stay to the next level. Everything we could’ve needed from massages to transportation was easily within reach. All our requests were met with a high level of care and consideration. My whole party agreed the Avlu was a highlight of our trip, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
The house is beautiful, the beds are very comfortable, and the gym, sauna and cold-plunge setup is fantastic. Kids liked spending time in the pool. Dedo and his team were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They arranged wonderful massages, floating breakfasts, daily housekeeping and reliable airport transportation. Whenever a problem arose, they made sure a staff member was available to help. The house is on a quiet street. We found it a little difficult to walk to the beach with young children, but the driver introduced by Dedo was very flexible and could take us wherever we wanted, even at short notice.There is also a little lovely restaurant nearby, which made meals convenient. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this beautiful home.
The Avlu in Kedungu is, quite honestly, a 1000/10 The location is quiet and serene , The Villa itself is ultra-luxurious , comfortable and designed in a way that makes it impossible not to relax the moment you arrive . The wellness Spa and pool were absolute highlights . And then there's Dedo , the host and his team , who truly made the stay unforgettable. Attentive,kind, and always one step ahead without ever being intrusive , easily the best host I've experienced , you can feel the care and pride in everything . We will come back to stay here next time . Thank you again for DEDO and his team to make everything easy and my stay perfect ❤️
Never have i ever received such hospitality where the host would greet and introduce the features of the home with the guests. Really amazing place, so many facilities and everything looks new. As one of our friends said “Even got smart TV in every room, does it get better than this?”. All jokes aside, this place is really worth considering, especially if you want to escape the crowded parts of bali.
The moment we came, Dedo and his team greet us with smile and impeccable hospitality. We felt joyous on how the property matched the pictures. It was definitely worth what we paid. Every inch of that space were squeaky clean, they did amazing job on the details. I would definitely rebook this place, I cannot thank Dedo enough for what he did during our stay. Amazing team, amazing host, amazing property. The Avlu is by far my most favourite place to stay among places I’ve been! Thank you for having us ♥️

We had a really great stay at the Avlu. The villa is beautifully set up and feels very private and comfortable, especially with each room having its own ensuite. Komang and Wayan were both incredibly helpful and friendly, always around when needed but never intrusive. They made everything feel easy from check-in through to the end of our stay. The pool, spa, and overall atmosphere made it a place we didn’t want to leave. Will definitely come back
Great villa, everything felt clean and thought out. The gym and spa setup were really nice, happy to use it every day, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing. Quiet location and close to some nice cafes and restaurants. Would stay again. 👍
We really enjoyed our stay ❤️ The gym was a great bonus. It’s not something you usually expect from a villa, but it was perfect for quick workouts, especially paired with the sauna and ice bath afterwards. The pool and living areas were where we spent most of our time, and the whole place has a really relaxed, private feel. Location is quiet but still close enough to everything you need. Would definitely recommend for a group stay.
We honestly booked The Avlu for the space, but the spa setup ended up being our favourite part of the stay. Having the steam sauna, infrared sauna, and ice bath all in one place was amazing it felt like having a private wellness retreat. The villa itself is really well designed, and the bedrooms are super comfortable with their own ensuites, which made it easy for everyone to have their own space. The pool area is also great for relaxing during the day. Location is nice and quiet but still close enough to get to cafes and the beach. Everything felt very easy and well organised from start to finish.
The Avlu was exactly what we were looking for private, peaceful, and really comfortable. The space is beautifully designed, especially the sunken living area and the pool setup. The spa area was a standout for us. Being able to use the sauna and ice bath at our own pace made the whole stay feel more like a retreat than just accommodation. Everything felt very easy from arrival to departure, and the team was always available if needed. If you’re looking for somewhere to properly switch off but still be close to the beach and good cafes, this is a great choice.
I wish we booked longer. A well thought out villa with everything you need. Each room with its own unsuite is a fabulous idea, especially on a girls trip. The infrared sauna and cold plunge was perfect for after care training. 5 stars 🌟 The outdoor area is perfect for those sunny days and the outdoor kitchen works well when enjoying a cocktail or two by the pool. Very clean and in a nice quiet location but still close enough to the beach and cafe's. We will be back.
