Exploring The Mango Trees: Luxury 5-star beachfront villa! left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of The Mango Trees: Luxury 5-star beachfront villa! was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Lovina Beach plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for The Mango Trees: Luxury 5-star beachfront villa! painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
Hyggelig vert! Elendig strand. Mye søppel på stranden. Ligger veldig øde. Ble matforgiftet av maten kokkene laget. Ellers var servicen bra.
Great Spot to go snorkeling and dolphin watching! Super pool, nice Villa rooms and nice, friendly Villa Staff; no Need for a car - always shortterm car with driver available. Unfortunately the number of mosquitos was far above average. Hence make sure you Carry sufficient Protection spray with you. the Drive from and to airport takes some hours. Make sure to Plan sufficient Time and combine with some sightseeing.
We recently stayed at Mango Trees Villa in Lovina and found the experience to be a mix of both highs and lows. On the positive side, the villa is set in a stunning location, with beautifully maintained gardens that create a peaceful atmosphere. Gede, the gardeners dedication to the outdoor spaces was clear. The security guard attentive, the housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome although the initial bill for local food purchases was high considering the price of food locally. However, the villa itself was tired and quite dated, in need of some maintenance. The house was not as clean as we had hoped, with dust visible in many areas, particularly under the beds, and the roof was filled with spider webs. We had planned to use the BBQ after purchasing fresh fish from local fishermen, but were disappointed to learn that it wasn’t working. Additionally, a water feature was broken, though my brother-in-law fixed it. Some TLC would make a better experience.
My stay at the villa was very peaceful and satisfying.The people at the villa were lovely and assisted us well. highly recommended 👌 go for it
The amazing beach front villa was located close to Lovina. Drive to North Bali is beautiful and you can make several stops on your way to the villa. Angelique can provide you details. Staff was amazing, made us my delicious meals and drinks. As groceries are cheap in Bali, you can ask staff to purchase and make meals for you. They also provide several options for each meals to choose from. They also took us on your scooters to local market which was amazing. Staff helped us organize inhouse massage and spa treatments. I loved our massage and scrub outdoor by the beach. We didnt get a chance to dine out as we really enjoyed spending time in the villa. I would highly recommend going for sunrise dolphin watching package. You can also see the mountain views from the ocean.The boat can pick up you up from the villa beach around 5:30 am. Bring hat, sunglasses and water. If you are sensitive to fuel smell, bring a mask. The water is calm and cleaner in North Bali, not like South Bali. There are snorkeling packages available. Check with the staff. Our Garder would set up the chairs, clean the pool every morning. The pool was heated so we could go for a swim at night and watch beautiful stars in the dark. All of the bedrooms had air conditioning and outdoor washrooms which means many insects and mosquitoes at night inviting all the lizards for a feast. The common indoor living area has sliding doors that can be open to give you direct views of the pool, beach. There is no air conditioning in the common area. The kitchen is fully equipped with all sorts of electronics and cutlery. all new and modern. There is outdoor seating area with dining table in the shade. It was really nice to enjoy our meals in open breeze and hearing ocean waves. overall we had a great stay and would definitely come back. on a side note; For people who are scared of lizards. Bali is full of Lizards and they are everywhere. The villa is close beach and still not very busy area. There are all kinds of mosquitoes, lizards, bats and butterflies. At night time, it's a party for the lizards, they are crawling all over the walls. Doors are not fully sealed so some might make it or the others might sneaking while you are trying to get inside. If you are scared of lizard may not be the best option for you. As I am terrified of lizards, its was a nightmare for me in the evening. Angelique offered us another villa to accommodate my fear. We choose to decline her offer as we had one more night and it was too much hassle to pack and leave gorgeous Villa. Staff was very helpful to get all the lizards out of the room at night. All the washrooms are outside and it's amazing to take a shower in open area. At night, lizards are all over the washroom to dine on insects. We used insect repellent to keep bugs out at night. we also used eggshells with red chillies around the walls to keep them away. The dont like the smell so they stayed away. For all Travellera, we found this area sp beautiful that Ubud did not impress us as much.

This house, and the surrounding grounds are amazing. We spent many hours lounging in the various covered areas, relaxing, balanced with lots of play time in the giant pool. The caretakers are friendly and helpful, making good food, keeping everything clean, and helping you arrange for day trips. If you are looking for a little solitude, peace, and quiet, this place is ideal, as it is a little ways out of town. There are some good restaurants that will pick you up and bring you home. The only downside is the ocean... I don't know if it is the time of year, or if it is always like that, but there was a lot of garbage floating in the water.
Pick up was good, vehicle was spacious for the long ride. villa was beautiful although there are alot of places that could do with some or more upkeeping or fixing. but what we did not like was that there were alot alot of mosquitoes. not sure if it was due to the season etc. but the itch they caused was of course annoying. which led to many lizards and geckos around. like alot of them. although in such places is expected but it was just alot more than the other places that i have been to. for someone that is terrified of them, it was pretty scary. but my brother had a wonderful timing scaring me with them and even giving them names........ the pool was big and lovely the view was outstanding like the photos. if the mossies did not exist, it would have been almost perfect
Great villa for a chill and secluded getaway with friends. Although secluded, food and massage options remain plentiful with the plethora of delivery options. Maids were great and helpful. The pool is amazing and having the ocean right by the house is an unparalleled experience. Rooms are comfortable and well kept . Beds were soft and comfortable.

En fantastisk villa som vi boede i 8 dage. Personalet var søde og hjælpsomme . Villaen ligger lidt øde - det er muligt at gå til et lille supermarked, men ingen restauranter så skal man med bil, hvis man ikke vil spise hjemme. Stranden var ubrugelig - vi var klar over det var trash season men der stod at den ville blive rengjort - det blev den kun den sidste dag. Kan anbefales men nok ikke i regntiden
Eine wunderschöne, sehr gepflegte und stillvoll eingerichtete Strandvilla mit Pool in der Nähe von Lovina. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und die ganze Zeit gut versorgt. Die Frauen haben für uns Lebensmittel besorgt und jeden Tag gekocht, der Gärtner kümmerte sich um den Garten, abends kam der Guard und sorgte für Abendbeleuchtung. Ein sehr gelungener Urlaub in schöner und entspannter Umgebung, danke, gerne wieder.
We had a lovely family holiday in this villa! The house is well equipped and maintained and looks just it does in the photos. We stayed for two weeks and it was the perfect way to spend our holiday and relax.
We stayed here for 3 days n it was a very relaxing holiday for us after a hectic trip in South Bali . We were welcomed by the courteous staff and were very excited to see the stunning Villa which is very well maintained . The view from each room is beautiful you just can relax looking at the sea by sipping the tea prepared by Ilu. We had a traditional Balinese massage and had a exciting time swimming at the calm beach which is right in front of the villa!! You will be picked up right in front of your villa for après dawn dolphin watch trip which is a must see. Anik a help desk executive was really helpful in arranging for the bikes and Other things. Over all we had a pleasant and memorable stay .thank u Anjelique for everything .
The Villa Mango Trees was wonderful - a truly beautiful outlook - and excellent staff, we had a great holiday, thank you.
If you're looking for restaurants, bars & nightlife then this is not your place. If you want a beautiful villa with a wonderful pool, fantastic view & helpful & friendly staff then that is exactly what you'll get. We had a very pleasant 6 nights with the staff preparing breakfast & cooking dinner each night for a very reasonable price (lunch was usually leftovers from the night before). Lovina itself was about 10km away (with a good bakery for bread) & Singarajah about 20km for supplies (especially the Carrefour for food & alcohol). Lovina itself was very dirty & covered in rubbish so not worth bothering with for any other reason. There is a small convenience store about 1.2km away but the village, Dencarik, is also pretty rubbish covered so we stayed at the villa as much as possible.
Wow, what an amazing place. Beautiful villa and the people we met there were so lovely. Made took us on an amazing trip out on his boat to swim with wild dolphins which was a highlight of our whole trip. The food prepared for us was delicious, I would definitely stay again.

Toen wij bij The Villa Mango Trees in Lovina aankwamen, viel letterlijk onze mond open. Het eerste wat we dachten was: dit kan toch niet waar zijn... Wat een ongelooflijk mooie plek. De foto's hadden onze verwachtingen al hoog gemaakt, maar in het echt was het nóg indrukwekkender. Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we de rust die deze villa uitstraalt. Het uitzicht, de prachtige tropische tuin, het heerlijke zwembad en de sfeervolle inrichting zorgden ervoor dat we ons meteen thuis voelden. Het voelde echt alsof we even in een klein paradijs waren beland. Wat ons verblijf helemaal bijzonder maakte, was de warmte en gastvrijheid van het personeel. Niets was te veel gevraagd en je merkt dat alles met liefde wordt gedaan. Daardoor voelden we ons geen gasten, maar echt welkom. Deze villa heeft onze vakantie onvergetelijk gemaakt. Als we ooit teruggaan naar Bali, dan staat één ding vast: we komen zonder twijfel terug naar The Villa Mango Trees. Bedankt voor deze prachtige herinnering.
What a wonderful way to cap our trip to Bali! The house and it's location were wonderful, truly what a beautiful home. I haven't been this relaxed and felt so at home, so far from home in a very long time. That being said, the staff here are the unsung heroes and really made our stay. Ayuk, Melin, Gede and Made are WONDERFUL! Next time we visit Bali, we'll spend more time on this end of the island, and hopefully here if it's available.
We loved our stay in the Mango tree villa! Relaxing and totally worth the money. Listaning to the waves from the ocean and getting served delicious Indonesian food from the staff was a real treat! The staff helped with all purchases and got us everything we needed! Sure the area is very quiet and you need a car to go somewhere, but we decided to just stay put and enjoy!

We had the most wonderful stay at Mango Trees villa. The staff were exceptional and very attentive. The girls in the kitchen are absolutely amazing, we had breakfast lunch and dinners catered for us and each one was as good as the one before. The staff organised our Dolphin tour right from the villa steps and the sunsets were beautiful.
Vi har knappt pratat om något annat sedan vi kom hit än om vi ska boka en eller två månader nästa år. Det är nog det bästa betyg vi kan ge. Att somna och vakna till ljudet av havet, ha en privat pool, gott om plats och fantastisk service har gjort detta till en av de mest avkopplande vistelser vi haft. Här finns ett lugn som är svårt att beskriva men lätt att längta tillbaka till. Tack för en underbar vistelse. Vi hoppas att vi ses igen nästa år – frågan är bara hur länge vi stannar.
One of the best places I have ever stayed. So quiet and private. The staff were incredible and helpful. It was perfect for us as a family of 5 with 3 kids. Not much close by at all so if looking for that then probably not the place for you but it was perfect for us. So sad to have left. Thank you to all the staff for an amazing holiday.
This place was absolutely stunning. The pool was clean and made for amazing sunsets. If you do the Dolphin tour, the tour guide can pick you up and drop you off at the Airbnb, which was very convenient. The house keepers were friendly and made great meals. This was my favourite part of Bali.
Vila, kde jsme byli ubytování je doslova ráj na zemi. Vše propracované do naprostého detailu. Je vidět, že zde někdo měl cit pro architekturu. Překrásná zahrada s dvěma jezírky, bazén s přírodním zeleným kamenem a prostorná vila s nádhernou typickou střechou a se spoustou místa k odpočinku nás naprosto očarovala. V neposlední řadě musím poděkovat za výborný personál ve vile, který jsme tolik sice nepotřebovali, protože máme rádi svůj klid. Velice příjemní a hodní lidé. Dále jsme si půjčili motorky, které nám dovezli hned do vily. Super servis! Výhledy do nekonečného moře byly třešničkou na dortu. Sever Bali je velmi zelený a stojí za výlety za nádhernou přírodou, kde jinde na ostrově neuvidíte. Pláž a moře není moc pěkné, černý písek je v pořádku, ale nepořádek, odpadky prostě zde budou stále. To jsme ale věděli, protože na Bali jsme nebyli poprvé. Celkově hodnotím 5 hvězdiček. Už se těším, až se zase vrátíme.

Ich war mit Freunden 10 Tage da. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Hauspersonal hat alles für uns gekocht und zubereitet was wir uns gewünscht haben. Die Hausanlage ist wunderschön gestaltet und hat einen Pool mit 4 Liegen mit Sonnenschirmen und weiteren Liegemöglichkeiten im Umfeld. Wir werden wahrscheinlich die Unterkunft ist Zukunft wahrscheinlich nochmal buchen.
We were extremely happy with our stay at the villa. The staff was fantastic and helped with everything from cooking and cleaning to arranging various tours. They were also incredibly kind to let our kids take part in their daily tasks. The villa itself was incredible, spacious, and had a great location right on the beach. We highly recommend it.
Einfach nur spektakulär! Es war vom Empfang durch das sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal, über den tollen offenen Grundriss des Hauses und die vielen tollen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten alles ganz hervorragend! Die zubereiteten Speisen waren ausgezeichnet. Buchungen von Vor-Ort-Massagen und Tische im Restaurant wurden einem abgenommen, so dass alles ganz leicht war! Insgesamt war es ein ganz toller Aufenthalt!!
Die Villa hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Es war alles einwandfrei sauber und sehr gepflegt. Die Sonnenuntergänge und -aufgänge waren wunderschön. Wir haben das leckere Essen von Putu und Ilhu sehr geschätzt und auch Gede (Gärtner) und Wachmann Made haben massgeblich dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlten - es war perfekt, herzlichen Dank an das Team! Es gibt einige tolle Touren/Ausflüge, die man in der näheren Region machen kann (wenn man nicht gerade Haus und Pool geniesst), Informationen dazu gibt es auch in der Villa. Wir können die Villa The Mango Trees sehr gerne weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder buchen!

We visited this place for our 10th wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed it. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and polite. We enjoyed the hospitality and the peaceful atmosphere of the place… The house is big and our children enjoyed the swimming pool. We would definitely recommend it to everyone.
Unbelievably beautiful property. Had 2 housekeepers/cooks, security, groundskeeper and driver(pay based on time, but VERY reasonable). I felt like planning my retirement in Lovina. Only downside (not really related to ownership) are mosquitoes are tough to navigate, so prepare accordingly and be prepared to wear some deet. Location from airport was longer than expected (4 1/2 hrs 70ish miles), however Lovina is way less touristy and has wayyy less traffic if you are wanting that quite get away. We booked our last night closer to the airport and spent our last leisure day getting there enjoying temples, monkeys and Big Swings along the way back. Tude, our driver was super helpful getting us to all the fun spots during our stay. All of the staff was a huge asset to the property and made it even more enjoyable. Security guy took us out on his boat for Dolphin watching. Elu and Petu made wonderful meals (just paid for cost of groceries basically). Overall, loved this place!!!
This is a wood style beach house with a piece of art garden, the gardener is really a star ⭐️ Very friendly and helpful staffs that can cook nice food for you. Really a nice place for chilling.
I couldn't like a place more. After staying for some days, I definitely want to go back and stay in the villa for peaceful breaks. It was not just the beautiful and spacious villa - which is exactly what I expected looking at the pictures - but the secret was the people: the cooks/ house keepers - Iluh and Putu, the guard who also doubles as a boat captain - Made, and the driver - Gede. They totally created core memories in this trip for me, such as emerging from a nap and asking if Made is available to take us on a snorkeling trip, or having Gede drive use around the island for sightseeing, all the while discussing life in Bali, or waking up every morning to some fresh juice and chats with Iluh and Putu. I totally felt so safe and comfortable in their care. The villa is thoughtfully designed. I loved the open bathrooms which allowed me to wind down in nature sounds from the ocean and creatures. Cannot recommend more!
Quel plaisir, quelle endroit paisible, quelle villa magnifique. Tout était réuni pour passer un séjour mémorable. Angelique a été aux petits soins pour les préparatifs de notre voyage et le personnel sur place d’une gentillesse, d’une discrétion, incroyables. Les repas proposés étaient top, la maison parfaitement propre, l’environnement sublime. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Nous sommes réellement tombés amoureux de cet endroit et de ses habitants. Merci pour tout. C’est du 5 étoiles de haut niveau compte tenu du prix très raisonnable.

Je crois que c'est la première fois que je trouve un logement Airbnb "encore plus beau que sur les photos" ! La maison est magnifique et très agréable à vivre, la piscine avec vue sur la mer est merveilleuse, tout le personnel est aux petits soins... une expérience délicieuse !
J’ai été élevé avec l’idée qu’on peut toujours améliorer quelque chose … mais dans cette maison je n’ai rien à dire ni à proposer. Face à la mer, très jolie, typique, bien pensée, très bien équipée, super bien entretenue, cette maison est un bijou. Tout est prévu et joli, tout est exactement comme décrit, Angélique la propriétaire, Anik et tout le personnel sont aux petits soins. Quelques jours au paradis !
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Angélique. La villa est superbe et très bien entretenue. Le personnel est très aimable et accueillant. Les petits déjeuners sont de bonne qualité. Un gardien assure la sécurité la nuit.
Accurate description of the property and the pictures. Secluded location away from the main Lovina Beach or Singaraja. Best to have your own vehicle. Friendly and smiling staff :-).

We absolutely LOVED our stay! This villa was absolutely wonderful. We spent some very blissed out days being cooked for, swimming and enjoying the quiet. The staff were amazing and service/cooking was excellent. We felt so cared for! We hope to come back very soon. We did not want to leave! 🌺🐬❤️☀️🙏🏼
FANTASTIC / this is a BEAUTIFUL place ::: right on the beach! The pool is amazing (large and clean) and you get to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea, fishing boat and sunset views / MAGIC!!! Sooooo relaxing and staff onsite to look after you. (They arranged paragliding, drivers, massages etc) Big, roomy and just perfect for our extended family stay (mature group🤣). It was like having your own private resort!! We will definately be back! Cons: a long drive to get to Lovina, location of villa is out of town so you need a scooter or grab to get to great, cheap bars and restaurants!
Paradise! I lack words to say how we felt when we pass the door and got to the terrace and stumbled upon the breathtaking view of the pool, garden and sea. Not to mention the kind and caring staff!

Vi havde nogle skønne dage. Huset var stort og luksuriøst og vi elskede den store pool. Personalet var meget søde og imødekommende og de hjalp os med alt hvad vi havde behov for. Vores varmeste anbefalinger.
An amazing Villa. Very well designed. Right on the beach with staff who will fix meals for you - you only pay for the ingredients. We had breakfast every day and dinner one night. The staff will also do laundry each day if required. Well maintained villa. Beautiful pool and gardens. Perfect for groups or families. The Villa Mango Trees is situated on a stretch of beach about 10 minutes from Lovina Beach. You need a driver or own car to get to restaurants or supermarket. We used Tude as our driver and he was very accommodating with ideas on what to do. Would definitely go back if we travel to north Bali again.
Det er en meget charmerende villa med perfekt indretning. Villaen ligger fantastisk helt ud til havet og har en virkelig flot og velholdt have. De to kokke, gartneren og sikkerhedsvagten om natten, gjorde vores ophold helt perfekt. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen i 2025.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Villa in Lovina. The staff spoke very good English and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The Villa has 4 good sized bedrooms, lovely pool and plenty of living space with everything required to enjoy our time. It is well maintained and immaculately clean. The villa staff were happy to organise groceries and making meals during our stay, they could not do enough for our group. Great location for a family stay but it is quite secluded with no shops within walking distance but that is the beauty of the peaceful and quiet location. It was about 250,000 rp to be driven into Lovina and return so best to do some planning to minimise trips during your stay. Pick up straight from on the beach for dolphin watching and fishing organised by the villa team. We would definitely use the Villa again if we stay in Lovina and recommend it to others.
All the staff were so amazing and kind, they really are what made this an amazing trip. We are normally a busy-busy-busy sort of family so having the ability to just relax for a few days was wonderful. The villa was kept very clean and had all the amenities you might need. They were even flexible with a late checkout as we had a very late evening flight. Overall 1000% recommend if you want a calm, peaceful, and beautiful stay.
This home was beautiful. The welcome greeting by the staff was a wonderful surprise especially after the long drive. We were only there 3 nights but everything was great. Staff made arrangements for restaurant to pick us up. Staff made some meals and they were delicious. The pool was refreshing. The one thing that would have made this a 10+ was pool floats.

Our stay here was exceptional. It far exceeded our expectations. The on site staff work so well together and are the kindest humans I've ever met. The security guard waited up late for us, welcomed us with flowers and drinks and served us dinner. The cook, Putu is the finest in all the land. I've lived in Bali for over 6 months and it's seriously some of the best food I've had on this island. The view is incredible, the beds comfortable, and the property is exquisite. The staff arranged massages for us (though they were not my favorite, I'm particular as I am a massage therapist myself) They allowed my favorite massage therapist to come to the villa to give us on site massages which was wonderful. We were able to do a private dolphin/snorkeling tour which was very nice. Other reviews mentioned the beach being full of trash, but that was not my experience here. Perhaps the combination of the time of year and attentive staff circumvented this. I will definitely be back, thank you!
Wir waren 5 Tage in der Villa Mango Tree und wir konnten uns sehr gut erholen. Wir wurden mit Blumen, frischem Saft und Erfruschungstuch begrüsst. Einfach so schön. Die Villa ist ein Traum. Grosser Pool, schön eingerichtete Zummer, tolle Aussicht aufs Meer. Die Angestellten sind sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend . Vielen herzlichen Dank für alles!. Sie haben uns jeweils das Frühstück und Nachtessen zubereitet und es schmeckte immer sehr gut👍. Auch während der Nacht war immer jemand da und sorgte für Sicherheit und allfällige Fragen. Wir können die Villa sehr gerne weiter empfehlen.
Very nice house with private pool and basically on the beach. We liked the house and enjoyed our stay.
As said by others, this place is definitely even more beautiful that the pictures show. All 4 rooms have dedicated bathrooms which are beautiful. There is also an outside shower near the pool and a a lovely rooftop space to enjoy. Sunsets are seen every night from the property.Communication with the housekeeper is easy and you can organise anything you want easily. The staff are friendly and lovely. Would come again
Lovely place to stay. Large spaces, with plenty of room for relaxing. It was clean and had all the amenities you need. The staff were friendly, really helpful, and assisted with anything we needed. It made for a wonderfully relaxing end to your trip to Bali.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with flowers, a cold drink and a refreshing towel by the hospitable staff. We didn't expect this and this nice surprise was just the beginning of a wonderful stay in the villa. We were 5 adults and we can highly recommend the villa for a one week stay. The villa is exactly as shown in the pictures. The staff cooked breakfast and lunch or dinner upon request. Our tastes were quite different, thus I won't comment on the food except that it was always freshly prepared. Unfortunately, we could not use the beach in front of the villa. On the right side there is another villa and next to this villa there is a small river/canal. This river did not rinse into the sea right away but ran right in front of both villas leaving a large ditch. We would have liked the opportunity to go swimming in the sea but we were fully satisfied with the amazing large pool. Thank you Angelique and the villa staff for this great holiday!

We have had the most wonderful 14 days in Villa Mango Trees. It is a fantastic house and the swimming pool is fantastic. The staff is absolutely phenomenal. Incredibly sweet and service minded. They are good at staying in the background and yet being present. The food is top notch. We gave them free rein to cook balinese food and it tasted heavenly. We hope to be able to return to Villa Mango Trees again one day. We give the house and not least the staff the best and warmest recommendations.
Staying at the Mango Trees Villa was the best experience and place we have ever been at! The beautiful staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, especially the extra beautiful surprises that we had for my husbands 50th birthday - we would love to come again!
We had an amazing two weeks at Mango Trees. The villa was as advertised and blew us away with the space and privacy. The pool was sparkling clean, we spent so much time in it everyday! What stood out mostly was the awesome staff who could not do enough for us. Ayu & Lyu are amazing cooks, we tried such a variety of Indonesian food, they were also happy to cook a western dish. Their friendliness and advice was very much appreciated. We were fortunate a enough to experience some local ceremonies and everyone made us feel so welcome. Gardener/pool staff member Sulan, security and our driver: Today were all so friendly and informative. We truely loved our stay and hope to return again one day.

The most perfect place to relax and recharge. Amazing staff, we honestly had no reason to leave and why would you want to. The property is stunning the pool and garden are beautiful with multiple places to lounge and take in the surroundings. We can’t wait to come back.
We had an amazing stay at the Villa of Mango Trees. Iluh, and Ayu kept the place spotless and made us great food. Gede was so thoughtful and kind, always engaging us in conversation. He even went out and collected fresh coconuts for us. Made made us feel extremely safe and cared for. Tode was the best driver ever! Komang Eva and Yuli came to the home and gave us all fantastic massages and facials! Totally worth it!! We would love to stay here again!

Simply stunning! We could not have had a better stay at Angelique’s incredible villa. The pool is massive and provides a welcome break from the sun. The staff at the house were so welcoming and friendly for the entire stay - really did make the house feel like a home! We so enjoyed our stay and would jump back there as soon as possible!

Die Villa selbst ist ein Traum! Der Pool, ein Traum! Das Ambiente, die Beleuchtung, alles drum rum ist wirklich ein Traum! Wir hatten leider nur eine Woche in der Villa - gern hätten wir hier viel mehr Zeit verbracht. Zeit zum runterkommen und entschleunigen. Die Beschreibungen und Bilder im Internet unter Airbnb spiegeln original das wieder was dort vorzufinden und zu erwarten ist (keinerlei "Fake")! Die Unterkunft ist großartig und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist stets bemüht für den Gast es so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Insbesondere sind die beiden Damen Iluh und Putu zu erwähnen, die für das leibliche Wohl sorgen. Auch der Gärtner und der Mann für die Sicherheit sind sehr freundlich und jederzeit für die Gäste da. Für uns gab es keinerlei Kritik an der Unterkunft und dies war unserer entspanntester Urlaub seit Jahren. Daher werden wir mit Sicherheit dieses Haus nochmals buchen. Es sei noch erwähnt, dass auch der Kontakt zu Angelique bezüglich offener Fragen und Abläufe sehr angenehm war und dass die Antworten sehr schnell kamen. Nochmals Danke für den schönen Urlaub.

We are extremely pleased and satisfied staying at your villa. The villa is MUCH BETTER than the photo. We had great time, the local staff were amazing! The host really communicative and fast reponse. check in process is extremely smooth, they have been expecting us and we just enter the property right away, HASSLE-FREE. The view was splendid, even for me who is hiding in the shade while the other is having sun bathing time. I can watch my children playing 10hours -straight- in the pool and sand, while I was enjoying my book and chilling in the air-con room! We love the villa and everything about it so much. will definitely come back for longer stay!

What a lovely place to unwind the property is lovely and clean great staff looking after everything. The pool was lovely and cleaned every day . Although the beach is right on the property we did not go in the sea as so much rubbish the staff clean the beach every day but it’s not their fault the rubbish comes back every day .Saying that it did not spoil it for us as the pool is wonderful as is the view

Villa Mango Trees is absolutely beautiful. It is a long drive over winding hills from the party part of Bali, which is exactly what we wanted. Being so remote would be challenging but Iluh and Putu were there to help with transportation arrangements, shopping, cooking and keeping things tidy. Everything in the villa was in great condition. The beach had trash (as did every one we saw in Bali), but was cleaned in front of the villa. This was of little consequence because we practically lived in the gorgeous warm pool. Restaurants in the area were good, but the home cooking could not be beat and was very affordable. Nearby towns were mostly locals, and sightseeing up north is limited, which made staying at the villa so easy. Shopping at Krisna was very affordable with the largest selection of anywhere we came across. At night, there are mosquitoes (hence the netting on the beds), but there also is a large number of means provided to control them. If we find ourselves back in Bali we won’t hesitate to stay at this gorgeous villa.

I highly recommend this place to whoever traveling to Lovina. It is a gem in Lovina and a perfect place for 2-3 families to chillax. It has a big pool with a beach right in front of the property. Its front and back gardens are lovely sights and great place to take photographs. Dolphins and monkeys are a must see in Lovina. Do buy loads of fruits (mangos, jackfruits, durians if you like, mangosteens, etc).
Angelique was nothing short of awesome. My friend and I had an awesome stay at the Mango Trees. Great location which is secluded if you just want to enjoy yourself and relax. The cleaners/cooks were amazing. We had some of the best foods in Bali. I highly recommend the Mango Trees. If you’re looking to just unwind, relax and enjoy yourself, this is the place!
A beautiful villa in a great location, right by the beach. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. A car or scooter is a must if want to explore, but otherwise you really don't have to leave the villa. Very few tourist's this time of year, so if want peace and quiet it's perfect.

Without doubt the best villa I have ever stayed in, a true paradise. Our expectations were high as the listing looked so amazing but the villa was even better than we had hoped. It’s just beautiful, a really lovely villa with everything you could want. All of the four bedrooms were incredibly comfortable with en-suite bathrooms. The sitting-room was lovely but we spent all of our time outside on the terrace and in the pool. And so much space - always somewhere to disappear with a book if you need peace and quiet. The staff were great, they had made us a delicious dinner for our arrival and an amazing breakfast the next day. We had thought it would be odd having staff around but they were very discreet and incredibly helpful when required - doing shopping for us, booking restaurants and arranging cars. As others have mentioned the beach isn’t great - a fair amount of rubbish washes up in the mornings - but the pool is so lovely we never even considered swimming in the sea and the view from the patio and pool skips the beach and looks out directly to the sea. The sunrises and sunsets are just awesome, we never got bored of watching the sun set (with a beer usually!). Lovina is just 10 minutes by car with a huge number of restaurants to choose from; and a couple of them will collect you from the villa which is very convenient. I had read many reviews of the dolphin watching that were pretty mixed but we loved it - only about a dozen boats near us and we saw dozens and dozens of dolphin as well as flying fish and a pair of incredible blue marlins - one of the highlights of our trip. In the midst of British winter I will always think back to Villa the Mango Trees to cheer myself up!
Villa magnifique , confortable et meublées avec goût. La vue sur mer est vraiment magnifique. Un superbe endroit pour se reposer au calme. Pour un peu d'animation, il faut prévoir de louer des scooters ou prendre un chauffeur pour se tendre à Lovina distante de quelques kilomètres. L'equipe sur place vous aidera à organiser tout ce que vous souhaitez faire.
De villa overtrof onze verwachtingen. Ruime, schone villa met een schitterend uitzicht over de zee. Het zwembad was groot en de temperatuur was perfect. Verder waren de slaap- en badkamers ruim en hebben we elke ochtend genoten van een heerlijk ontbijt, al met al een geweldige vakantie!
I couldn't imagine this paradise i my wildest dreams... When the gates opened and the beautiful, breathtaking villa and surroundings I had to grasp for air... The staff are friendly, service minded and helped us when we had something on our mind. We would rekommend it to everyone who wants to spoil themselves with beautiful sourroundings.

Wir waren zu sechst in der Villa und das einzige Problem war sich über die Zimmer einig zu werden, da die beiden Richtung Meer natürlich unschlagbar sind. Aber alle Zimmer bzw. die ganze Villa sind dem Landesstandard entsprechend sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Das Personal in der Villa ist mega freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und die Kochkünste von Putu und Iluh sind gigantisch. Zudem haben sie sich angeboten für uns zu waschen und haben immer gute Tips für Ausflüge, Restaurants etc. gehabt. Außerdem haben sie uns immer den Fahrer organisiert. Wir haben es genossen morgens mit Meeresrauschen aufzuwachen und bereits um 7 Uhr unsere erste Runde im Pool zu drehen. Der Strand ist zwar nich so schön, da leider wie vielerorts öfters Müll angeschwemmt wird, aber alleine dass wir abends so wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge hatten, macht das wieder wett. Und der Gartenbereich um den Pool ist einfach idyllisch. Wir konnten uns sehr gut erholen. Zweimal hatte Iluh zwei bekannte Mädels zur Massage für uns eingeladen, das kann ich wirklich empfehlen. Bequem auf dem Daybett am Pool mit Blick auf´s Meer...besser geht´s nicht. Danach fühlte man sich wie neu! Abends haben wir unsere vielen Geckos, Frösche und Fledermäuse genossen, allen voran die Tokees haben uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Die Villa liegt am Rande von Feldern, dementsprechend kommt man ohne Auto schlecht in den Ort, wir haben fast täglich den Fahrer gebucht oder uns abends vom Restaurant holen lassen. Zu Fuß bis zur "Hauptstraße" sind es bestimmt 20-30 Minuten, mit dem Auto ca. 5. Dafür hat man idyllische Ruhe und Natur pur. Die Einheimischen rundherum sind sehr freundlich und man hat kaum etwas außenrum mitbekommen. Ab und zu hat mal einer der Strandhunde vorbeigeschaut und es kamen drei-, viermal Strandhändler vorbei, die Armbändchen und Sarongs verkaufen wollten, sonst war es eher ruhig. Die Freiluftbäder sind der Hammer, fast wie auf den Malediven. Die Betten waren auch recht bequem und nicht durchgelegen. Ich kann die Villa wirklich wärmstens empfehlen und wir würden auch jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen. Vielen Dank liebes Team von Villa Mango Tree!
Very spacious house, super clean, with everything you need. I recommend you to rent a motorbike for your stay as the house is quite far from Lovina city center (9km). This is the perfect location to come with friends or family and just chill!
We had a wonderful stay at this villa! The staff were so helpful and accommodating, the pool was amazing and the guest book of spas, restaurants and things to do was a nice touch. Angelique was great to communicate with and answered all our questions and helped us prepare our trip up north. We really appreciate it!

We had an amazing time here in Mango Trees villa! The villa was amazing, beautiful garden, clean and absolutely huge swimming pool, stylish interior, lot of space for 9 people and so on.. Staff were amazing too and the cook VERY well!! :) Security guard was always smiling and was very kind but we also felt very safe during the night :) Gardener was also very helpful I really miss this place, it was very hard to go home from there.. I hope we come back one day. Thank you for everything

We were super excited to stay at Angelique‘s house but unfortunately the vulcano made it impossible to fly to Bali. Angelique was a perfect host and answered all the questions we had. A very caring and helpful contact. If we have the chance to visit Bali in the furture we will definately contact Angelique again!

Our group was comprised of two families, 4 adults and 5 children ages 6-10 yrs. The villa, its property, swimming pool, and staff were all five star, no doubt. Every moment that we spent at the villa was very enjoyable and relaxing. We highly recommend it. With that praise being sung, there are two reality checks that would be helpful to be fully aware of before booking this property. 1) The drive from the airport to the villa is quite taxing. Due to severe traffic around the airport itself, it took us 4 hours to get to the villa from the airport. And the drive itself is far from relaxing; it involves long, windy roads through the mountains, which will prove challenging for anyone who struggles with carsickness. The drive back took us 3.5 hours. Perhaps if there was absolutely no traffic, 3 hours would be possible, but our experience suggested that this is far from the norm. Expect a 3.5-4 hour drive on difficult roads. 2) It is true that this is a beachside villa, with direct beach access. The views are stunning and the peaceful sound of crashing waves is ever present. However, if you are expecting an idyllic white-sand beach setting, a reality check is necessary before heading to this location. Interestingly, the sand itself is black in color, which is cool in its own way, but it isn't that postcard type image. Even more significantly, though, it must be noted that trash washes up on shore constantly. Needless to say, this isn't in the control of the villa owners, as the garbage comes from the polluted ocean itself, but it definitely reduces the joy of direct beach access when the beach is littered with washed up garbage. It is unfortunate, to say the least, that human-caused pollution has such wide-ranging impact, but it is a reality -- and one that greatly impacts the beach at Villa The Mango Trees. So, if you can handle a 3.5-4 hour drive on windy roads to get there, and if you temper your expectations regarding the beach, then you will have no reason to be disappointed with this location. The wonderful staff, beautiful home, ocean views, and relaxed atmosphere all combine to make Villa The Mango Trees a true five star experience.
Excellent villa which exceeded our expectations. Location wise it is a bit distance from Lovina but transport can be arranged for a small fee. Good place to enjoy some peace and quiet with making some occasional trips with the driver as needed. Highly recommended to stay here.

This is a very spacious villa with everything you need all right there. All the most modern and western finishings for a kitchen (even a microwave). It is a bit remote, so there isn't much option for walking to restaurants, etc. The pool was awesome, clean, and refreshing. It is nice to be on the water and to hear the waves, etc; however, this stretch of beach isn't one I would recommend for swimming as it is very dirty. The power did go out a couple times during our stay - this happened for many homes in the area; however, if a possible power outage concerns you, then this might not be the area to book. We enjoyed our stay at the villa and would recommend the villa for your holiday.
Amazing property, very appropriate for a family vacation away from all the crowd and chaotic atmosphere of south Bali. Best place to stay in if you're keen on scuba diving and dolphin watching. This place is one of the best ones in Bali to do all of these!
My family had a lovely 8 day stay at the villa. The villa was luxuriously appointed and we spent quite a bit of time in the villa itself, enjoying the place and just relaxing. And the villa staff of 4 was just first class, taking care of every need and more.
Beautiful Villa! Garden and pool area are well kept and all rooms are clean and comfortable. The stuff was really nice and helpful and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The Villa had nice atmosphere, during the day you could enjoy the pool and sun and during the night you could sit in the candlelight and listen the sound of waves. Everything was just perfect!

We loved the villa and wished we had more time. The staff, space, view and the pool were fabulous. There was a lot of debris on the beach which was sad to see, but it was obvious larger items were picked up and removed daily. Hope to be able to visit again!

Overall the entire experience was just wonderful. Starting from the constant communication leading up to our stay by Angelique via email and sms through to the friendly and calming service given to us by the house maids (Putu and ILuh) as well as the gardener (Komag) and the security man (Made). Putu and ILuh were so polite and always had a smile on their face, whatever we asked was never a problem, they made phone calls to various people for us to organise things (restaurants, yoga class, snorkelling, drivers, food shopping etc) through to even attempting to cook dishes which we had requested but they had the never cooked before, nothing was too much trouble for them. Their dinners were unbelievably delicious and we were able to eat traditional Balinese food for very little cost. The villa itself was just as the website showed, the location was amazing, the house was super clean (thanks to Putu and ILuh), the facilities were spot on, overall our holiday could not have been better.
Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold i Villaen som var like fin i virkeligheten som på bildene. De ansatte var veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom på alle måter. Maten de laget til oss var den beste under oppholdet vårt på Bali. Sjåførene var alltid tilgjengelige og var flinke guider som gav oss mye informasjon om både steder å se, og livet på Bali. Det var mange spennende og flotte steder i nord. Hvis man både vil ha opplevelser og nyte det gode livet i villaen vil jeg anbefale å være der i mer enn 4 dager, slik vi var. Utsikt til havet fra gode senger.
Dette sted holder alt hvad det lover. Stedet er gudeskønt og huset er perfekt. Personalet laver gerne mad til jer og laver det I måtte ønske. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme og gjorde huset rent hver dag. Angelique er ekstremt hjælpsom med at arrangere alt hvad du har brug for f.eks. afhentning i lufthavn, chauffør til små dags ture o.lign. Vi bestilte også massage, manicure og pedicure, her kom de til villaen, det var super godt og skønt. Dette sted kan varmt anbefales, vi var der i 4 dage, men kunne godt have haft nogle dage ekstra. Det eneste minus er at stranden flyder med affald.
The Villa is just marvelous. A great place to have a rest especially after intensive sightseeing. We have seen the photos before coming there but the villa looks even better in real life. Amazing bedrooms, lots of space and a beautiful pool with the view at the sea that we were using a lot. Staff is taking care of the place well, it's clean and fresh. Everybody is kind and very helpful.
The villa is gorgeous and comfortable, the staff efficient and friendly, the location peaceful and serene. Each and everything promised in the description and pictures was delivered beyond our expectations. The villa, pool and facilities are best in class and anything you can think of is provided or can be arranged by the staff. This is an ideal place for a "get away from it all" vacation, although there are activities in the area which one can pick up if desired. Strongly recommended and a big thank you to the Mango Tree Villa staff and administrators.

We had a great time in the Mango Villa. It is picture perfect with a very friendly staff especially Ilu and Putu. It is away from the hustle and bustle of South Bali and perfect for a peaceful vacation. Highly recommended are Menjangan Island snorkleing and Dolphin watching which you will not get in South Bali. Snorkleing was amazing with excellent water clarity, corals and other marine life. Excellent food was served by Ilu and Putu and they are very good hosts. Overall an amazing experience that we would like to repeat.

We were a big family group that went to stay at the Mango Trees villa in Lovina. The villa itself is as magical as it looks in the pictures. It is every bit breathtaking. We stayed there for 3 days and 3 nights and loved every moment of it. We've been to other villas but none compares to this one. There are many private places in the villa one can just retreat to for some quiet and tranquility. The pool was a good size for all of us and waking up to the view of the beach from two of the rooms is spectacular and breathtaking. We were serviced by the very helpful 4 staffs there at the villa who were always very attentive to our needs and wants even before we voiced them out. Good work in hiring such good people. We went dolphin watching early one morning at 6am and just had to step out onto the beach and we had a boat ready for us. That was how convenient it was. We didn't go out to explore the places as we just wanted a relax and recovery time there. We got massages done and food cooked in the villa itself by the staff. Prices are relatively cheap so it makes alot of sense to tip the staff more and/or other services of the people you hire to come to the villa to tend to you. There will be peddlers on the beach selling souvenirs and little items but you don't get too many of them, usually just 3 or 4 maximum in a day. Only thing to highlight to other travellers would be to use cars or vehicles that are small enough for the narrow Jalan Melati road. Buses will not be able to go through that stretch of road. If you're in a big group, go in smaller vehicles. Big shout out to the staff of the Mango Trees villa for coming to get us in the middle of the night when we arrived and couldn't proceed down the Jalan Melati road via our bus. They were all very amazing and we wouldn't hesitate to consider coming back here again!
Absolutely stunning place and lovely team looking after the villa! Had a great, relaxed time with family. Hope to return before long!
