Exploring UbudHillside 5BDR villa in ricefield, jungle view! left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of UbudHillside 5BDR villa in ricefield, jungle view! was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for UbudHillside 5BDR villa in ricefield, jungle view! painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

The best part of the Villa were the hosts and the location which was a 5 minute drive into the main strip of Ubud. The husband and wife duo were kind and warm and were always a message away to help with drivers and organising massages, food, groceries and laundry. The Villa is large and easily accommodated our group of 10 with large private rooms with ensuites and well working air conditioning. Unfortunately the villa felt quite old and dated in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. There was a lot of peeling and bubbling paint, stains and smells and it just felt very damp. It had a seperate kitchen which all useable but also could do with a revamp. It has so much potential. The pool and garden are gorgeous and you felt like you were really in the thick of it surrounded by rice fields and greenery so it was very private and lush. Things to be mindful if you go with kids: slippery pool area which had lots of stairs and the driveway which long and not accessible by car.
Nice villa is nice but the service is not in line with similar houses in Bali - breakfast is expensive and basic. - no shampoo, no shower gel, - staff does the bare minimum - staff not able to cook diner in the evening

The villa is between the paddy field, so the view is nice. Its just car can't go in to the villa, only up to the parking space, and drag your luggage about 100-200m, Wayan n husband will help us to bring our luggage, if you have heavy boxes, they will use their motorbike to help us to bring in. Their service is super good, friendly, fast response and have clear instruction. The villa have 5 BR w/ shower room attached, all is big. But the other 2 rooms is on the other parts, its on 2nd floor, the stair need to pass the pool and have another diff gate, if heavy rain we'll need umbrella to go 2nd floor. Dining table and living room is big, but no fan, a bit hot. Kitchen utensil not really in good condition, but for basic cook still ok. Should put fan at kitchen and living room to make our gathering more comfortable
The villa was freakin gorgeous, it looked exactly like in the photos! Things to be improved: - The floor was quite dusty, could do better with cleanliness - The beds were too soft for me, I found it difficult to sleep
The host is so friendly and responsive. They are so helpful and supportive. some facilities are malfunction but overall quite good experience. The blanket might not be enough to keep warm too.
The location can be difficult to find - it is opposite a blue mechanic. The grounds and location are beautiful and you can walk the 4km into town easily and stop for coffee and croissant at fas@fas cafe on the way. Laundry facilities are also near by. Bedrooms were big and soundproof (my son and his grandmother were singing and I thankfully didn’t hear). The pool is divine and kitchen is clean. Easy to order food to be delivered from go gek.
This is an affordable and spacious villa with room for up to 10 persons! Although the villa is adjacent to a few other buildings, it was very quiet and peaceful during our stay. The local neighbours were very friendly and the area felt safe. We enjoyed the view over the rice field at the front of the house. Although sadly the rooftop was under repair at the time and not accessible to enjoy the view from there. We had suggested to Wayan to replace the second floor bathroom curtains, as we discovered these are quite transparent especially at night with the bathroom lights on and quite visible to anyone walking past the villa. She was very helpful before our arrival date and flexible also to meet us slightly late in the evening to greet us for our check-in! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay 🙏🏼
El lugar es bien tranquilo. Tiene un restaurante casi al lado buenísimo (cocoku). Y otros muy buenos cerca (como el de las pirámides de chi y del hotel Blue karma). Fue desafiante encontrar el lugar de la casa por el Google Maps, pero en realidad es fácil llegar. Wayan y su esposo nos estaban esperando. Son muy amables. La casa es más antigua de lo que aparece en las fotos, podría estar un poco más limpia y con mejor manutención. Tendría olor a “guardado”. En la cocina también tuvimos que lavar los utensilios antes de usarlos. Pero es un buen lugar, acomoda bien a un grupo grande.
This place was a great find and Wayan has been a great host for us. It’s a huge place for at least 7-8 pax and we were just 4 adults and 1 child. The rooms and overall villa was clean and tidy. The kitchen could do a bit with tidying up, and replacement of some utensil and crockery. But since we didn’t cook there it was fine. Restaurants and cafe nearby are nice And Ubud central is just a 8-10mins ride or maybe 20 mins walk. I’d recommend this place to anyone coming over for large families. Poool was kept well, and overlooking the jungle was a nice view. Our family enjoyed the time here. For the price you pay and location etc it’s a nicely situated villa.
Beautiful space, my family of 10 love the space. Very comfortable bedding and we love the communal space. The only downside was car wont be able to drive up all the way to the villa, but Wayan and her husband manages to help us with the luggages. However the place does need maintenance and clean up. The pool seems a tad mirky. The towel provided was also worn out and torn. The bed in my room was also very dirty with lots of black stains. A few strains of curly hair was also found. But other than that, it’s a beautiful villa.
Wayan was a great host - always available and very helpful. Our stay was made very easy and very enjoyable. The breakfast (order separately made by Wayan and team in the villa) was fantastic with lovely fresh food.
Rural location. Not far from ubud centre. However, the usual road is closed for to landslide. Modern, big kitchen. All rooms are ensuite. Host is very responsive and helpful. Wayan arranged Balinese massage a must have. There is a shop next door to buy breakfast, fruits and veggies. Paddy terranes here are natural. Wayan and her husband are very helpful to make your stay comfortable and effortless.
We had a great stay at the villa. The rooms are big and the pool is a star 🙌🏼
This was a nice but old villa. I'm going to start with the good. The beds were very comfortable. Wayan, and his wife Wayan, were incredible resourceful, kind, considerate hosts. They were on top of everything. Most Balinese hosts are like this, but they were exceptional. The unit is very old. It's also a split home... designed for two completely different rentals. So getting from down to upstairs is a little more inconvenient than you'd expect. The rooms are big, but a massive downside is the bathroom designs. Showers spray all over the toilets and floor. A simple separator would make things so much better. The kitchen was the biggest downside. Disconnected from villa (standard for old style), ants everywhere (host handled), missing several essential and useful things. Dishware is a complete chaotic combination of random things from the last 10 years. Water dispenser is dodgy AF. I wouldn't stay there again, but the hosts were amazing. Needs investment for upgrades and remodel.

We enjoyed our stay! The villa was beautiful and the surrounding area was amazing! Ubud was a super fun town to visit. The villa was clean and the host made sure our needs were met. A couple things I would have changed is we weren’t left with any drinking water and the host wanted to take our passports into town to make copies, we denied because we were not comfortable with her taking our passports. But overall it was a great experience!
Very beautiful and amazing villa. Really everything is great in this villa. The equipment and the pool are perfect. But please note that it’s 45 min by walk from the center of Ubud, and never ask Wayan some help. They will charge you 100 000 roupias for a drop to the center and we paid 70 000 roupias with a regular taxi. Also they wanted to sell us the Mont Batur trip for 600K roupias, and we paid 300K roupies at Ubud center. So never ask Wayan she is not sincerely helpful she just want to make money on you. But for the villa EVERYTHING IS AMAZING AND PERFECT! Go for it you won’t be disappointed.
Beautiful villa located approximately 3km north of the Ubud town center. While this distance means you can’t really walk into town (there are no real footpaths so you would need to dodge traffic if you did walk!), it was a really nice peaceful location to stay out of the Ubud tourist-craziness! The staff are lovely people and very helpful. Breakfasts were an extra (but very affordable) cost and they were very substantial and delicious. All facilities were very clean and beautifully presented. One thing to note (particularly for parent’s), the tiles around the pool and living area become extremely slippery when wet and most adults and kids had a fall at one stage during our stay.

В одной комнате пахло затхлым. И если вы думаете, что Вилла в центре Убуда, это не так. На вилле предлагают такси за 100 000 рупий до города, это около 900р туда-обратно. Каждый день не наездишься. Многие таксисты не могут найти виллу или не хотят ехать. Нашли локальных таксистов за 60 000 и ездили с ними, тк они уже знали куда ехать. Вариант, конечно, взять байки.
Ubud Hillside was overall a positive experience! A couple things to note: the “amazing view” was a selling point for us, though the top deck was under construction when we arrived. That, and the the rice fields are only visible when standing and up against a railing rather than sitting back and taking in the moment. Lastly, the A/C was broken in one room though we understand this happens. Other than that, we quite enjoyed our stay. Robert was great at communicating, the staff were bright, helpful, and enjoyable, and the place itself was quite nice. I found myself actually enjoying the view out into the jungle come nightfall, so the “amazing view” was not completely lost :) Thanks, Ubud Hillside!

We had a wonderful 4-day stay here with our family. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. At the same time, it’s conveniently located close enough to the main streets and feels very safe to walk around. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, with lovely landscapes and scenic views along the way. One of the highlights of our stay was exploring the area on bikes, and we’d like to give a special thanks to the host for kindly arranging the bikes for our excursions. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable family stay. We truly enjoyed the hospitality, the peaceful atmosphere, and the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended!
Beautiful villa nestled amongst an outstanding location. The pool was a highlight and loved the restaurant just a short 2-minute walk out the front. Great value villa and great hosts that organised tranport as required.
Lovely place Great vegetarian cafe up the road Cocoku with fresh produce shop. Villa is walkable to markets (40mins walk)would definitely not recommend getting a car taxi as traffic is mental. Easy communication with Wayan who helped with things such as bikes/taxi advice. Nice big pool and big rooms.
Wayan was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We were three families who arrived in batches, and she arranged taxis for us. She even came late at night to help move our luggage to the property. The villa was clean, and daily housekeeping was done regularly. The kids especially loved the pool. We also rented scooters through Wayan, and she arranged taxis for our day trips. She was always quick to respond and provided clear instructions whenever we needed them. She also came personally during checkout to help us move our luggage. The villa is spacious and comfortable enough for four families. Cocoku Restaurant, right next to the villa, is amazing. We enjoyed breakfast there several times during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Wayan’s villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed stay.
We loved our stay at Wayan’s place! The villa is beautiful, clean and very well set up with all the amenities you could need. We were two families staying together, with 3 children each and the villa worked brilliantly for us all. The pool was a particular highlight. We also really appreciated the peaceful location just outside of hectic Ubud and found some lovely nearby restaurants and cafés to enjoy. Wayan and her husband are wonderful hosts - very kind, friendly and helpful with recommendations and organising a driver for us for day trips. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend this villa.

Just returned from a 12 night stay at Villa Pituh. We were a group of 5 adults 3 children and 2 infants. The villa was perfect for us, lots of space for us all and even better than it looks in the photos and the pool was perfect especially for the kids. Wayan and staff very very helpful and very responsive to any questions we had, also helped us arrange airport transfers and motorbike hire during our stay. The villa itself is short distance from town, (too far for us to walk with kids) We decided to use Grab taxi into town which was only a short 5 min journey and cost around 57000 IDR each way. There is however some local shops next to the villa for basics and “cocoku” restaurant is next to the villa and we can highly recommend trying this place. We ate there every morning for breakfast. We would happily stay here again and can highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice villa in Ubud. Thankyou to Wayan and staff for an excellent stay.
We had a wonderful 4-night stay at this villa. The location is quite and relaxing, yet still conveniently just 10–12 minutes from Ubud Palace. Traveling with kids, we especially loved the pool—it added so much fun to our stay. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ubud.

Wayan was such a pleasure to deal with. Her English was excellent as well as her care for our comfort. Laundry was no issue, she organised . Ordering takeaway food was no issue with Gojek. We needed a taxi, she organised. The villa was so lovely & relaxing. The beds & bedding so comfortable! Pool was amazing.

This property was awesome deffinatly plenty of space for us & the bedrooms wow so big!!! (2 x adults, 2 x young adults & 4 teen kids) Pool was great kids loved it, the tiles were very slippery once wet though by the pool.

Our party of 8 (5 adults & 3 children) had a great stay at Wayan’s place in Ubud. Located approximately 3 km from the city centre, the place was located in a very relaxed rice field but still had plenty of places to eat and see within walking distance.
Wayan was a great host. Rooms were clean and pool was well maintained. We stayed with 10 people over 3 nights. Host also offered to bring food over from restaurants if needed and also take our clothes for laundry

Wayan was responsive host, even helped us get replacement scooter when it died in the middle of Ubud. The villa itself is in great location for people want to enjoy peace and quiet but still be in walkable distance of central Ubud (around 4km) we chose to take a path through rice fields instead of busy road and it was beautiful. recommend to stop for breakfast/lunch at Sweet Orange. The cafe Cocoku right next to villa serves also delicious meals. There was a couple of days we didn't get a cleaning service which is understable considering we came in the middle of Galungan celebration.
This villa is absolute bliss, located on the outskirts of Ubud between rice fields and jungle. All rooms were spacious with beautiful furniture in all of them. There were two large living areas with enough seating for a large group of people in each area. Each bedroom had its own air-conditioning allowing you to escape from the heat. The pool had great views looking out into the jungle with the river below. Wayan was extremely helpful and very easy to communicate with. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting a villa on the outskirts of Ubud.
It was the perfect staying, like at home. The nice place, beautiful territory and really kind owner Wayan! It was some problems with Wi Fi, but Wayan did everything she could to solve this problem! Thanks a lot🙏🫶

My friends and I, seven of us in total, had an incredible time at Wayan's Holiday House thanks to the host's hospitality. The house was beautiful, the pool view was stunning, and the air conditioning in the rooms was perfectly cool. Especially, the hosts were very helpful with food orders and even arranged for massage therapists to come to the house, which made our stay extremely convenient. If we ever visit Ubud again, we will definitely choose this place.

I’ll stay was delightful. The house is beautiful. Everything was just like the photos. Bedrooms are large and clean. Kitchen had all necessary appliances. Lots of lounging area and the pool was wonderful. Wayan and her husband were responsive and attentive. Would definitely recommend this wonderful house.
Beautiful spacious villa. Pool was perfect and really nice outdoor area. Mr. and Mrs. Wayan were so helpful and friendly. Easy get a grab into town but traffic can be a bit hectic in the afternoon as you enter Ubud on this road, so we got dropped up the road a bit and walked the rest of the way into town. We had 2 families stay and still had lots of room to spare. Cleaners came nearly every day but wd had lots of spare towels and linens to hand if we needed them. Very happy with our stay.
Super séjour avec une hôte très gentille et disponible. Le petit déjeuner copieux et très bon, toujours avec le sourire. Petit bémol pour la cuisine qui n’est pas attenante à la maison et qui est resté précaire avec un manque d’équipement oralement une cafetière. Sinon tout était très bien

Wayan’s place is the best villa here, you will love the ambience and airy feeling here with big rooms, and an amazing pool. Wayan is always there to help and responsive for all the needs. I would certainly recommend this to anyone visiting ubud with family or friends. Our family liked the place.
Superb villa as even with three families it was spacious enough that you didnt feel on top of one another. Wayan and her husband are unbelieveably helpful and friendly hosts, and go the extra mile. The villa was a little out of town so not walkable to central Ubud but Grab taxis were easy to obtain. They arranged a chef to cook us an Indonesian feast for Xmas dinner, our laundry to be done and booked us some excursions including a driver as short notice. I would highly reccomend Wayan and her lovely villa.
Big house, big rooms, comfy beds, nice pool, well-maintained garden. Functional kitchen. Each individual rooms is nice, only the living area are not that comfortable to sit around and no rice paddy view while inside the house (only from room at second floor) .

We had a lovely time at Wayan’s place, we were made to feel right at home. The bedrooms felt luxurious and we all had plenty of space. It was so clean and the staff were really helpful. Could not fault our stay and we would definitely stay again. Very much recommend!

Superb place - great villa We were 9 friends that stayed and it was perfect! Slightly far from city center walking but can reach in 10 mins with a Grab motorbike Really enjoyed this place and Wayan in so responsive and helpful! We booked multiple massages and other treatments through her and they were always on time and excellent (e.g., she managed to get 7 massages at the same time in the villa 2 hours before)
Mr. and Mrs. Wayan were great hosts. They helped us with all our needs and made us feel comfortable. 10/10 would recommend the place. It's a beautiful villa with great view and cozy setup. Worth the price we paid.

We arrived late at the airport and had no place to eat, but Wayan was very helpful. The house is very nice and big. I recommend it for large families or large groups. However, there are not many things to do around here, but it is quiet, so it is good for families to hang out.
Great villa to stay in while visiting Ubud! Wayan is such a lovely person and great to coordinate planning with! She provided us great recommendations and the villa was very comfortable for our group of 7. Would recommend!

A wonderful place to stay! We had a fantastic time with our family. Wayan is an excellent host, always available to assist with any questions. While the property could use a bit of upkeep, it is spacious and well-suited for large groups and families. Wayan and her team's hospitality made our stay truly memorable!
Wayan was a beautiful and accomodating host. The vegan cafe nearby was delicious. The house was very spacious, comfortable and the pool was gorgeous. Overall a great place to stay. Relatively easy to get into town with Grabs. Oh we also had a delicious meal cooked for us when we arrived and it was so plentiful and tasty!!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the villa. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful during the day. Wayan was very responsive and addressed any issues very quickly. The four-poster beds with net curtains were a nice touch and an extra line of defence against the mosquitoes.
Our stay at the villa was amazing and made so much more enjoyable by Wayan. She was so accommodating, provided loads of lovely local reccendations and helped us book activities. Would 100% recommend!

Beautiful house, and pool and all the rooms are massive with an ensuite. There was a cleaner everyday that changed the sheets and linen. The walk to the villa through the rice fields o the villa is on a concrete driveway, so very easy to get to and there was always bottled water on site. with a coffee shop a 2min walk up the road. the most amazing thing about the stay is Wayans hospitality, she was always on hand to help, she organised a driver to get us from the airport and one to use while we stayed there. any issues that came up were rectified immediately. The children loved Wayan with how nice she was. I would highly recommend staying here. I know I would definitely stay here again.

Wayan and her husband were the best airbnb hosts our group has ever had. From the start she quickly organized a ride from Uluwatu for our group of nine and greeted us with a smile. She got bikes for us within minutes of arrival, and was quick to do all of laundry. Their hospitality didn’t stop there, throughout our entire stay they organized ATVs, Mt Batur, massages and visas. The space itself is stunning and is in a perfect location. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud but still central so you can walk and get around easily. Our group would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing, clean, and beautiful villa with the best hosts.

Wayan is an extremely talented host and made sure we were looked after with everything we needed. The villa was serviced each day and Wayan was able to provide massages and food delivery with no trouble. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have slept on and the surrounding areas were beautiful. We saw plenty of wildlife too! We stayed with a big family of 9 and the villa easily accommodated all of us without ever feeling on top of eachother. The grocery store and markets are very close by. We really enjoyed our time in Ubud, we already miss Wayans smiling face. Wayan and her husband are amazing! Definitely worth a stay 👌
Mr and Mrs Wayan were great hosts. We stayed 5 nights at the property. The house was huge and well maintained. Clean and big pool. Plenty of trees around the property and a small stream flowing behind the property. The house had all amenities required for the stay. They even arranged an in-house massage session for all of us. Highly recommended.

Wayan’s are lovely hosts. We enjoyed morning pool time, the pool was wonderful. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay at the villa more. They had options to get a variety of massages or mani-pedis that we didn’t even take advantage of because we were busy touring Ubud. There was a walkable vegan store with a small food counter. Also a walkable laundry that can give your laundry back in 24 hrs. Decent Japanese-Indo restaurant that is walkable and delivers. The Wayan’s are able to provide breakfast for a fee (cash) and we used this service for several days. The fruit plates alone were worth it. My only suggestion is small. I wish the upstairs bedrooms had a little more of a way to block the morning light. They have basic blinds but would have enjoyed room darkening curtains. All of the gathering areas are outdoor patio style. Beautiful to sit out and enjoy the morning sunrise. Kitchen and access to water upstairs and down. Beautiful rice field views.

My family and I had the best time at Wayan’s place! Wayan and her husband were the warmest, most responsive hosts ever! The place is huge, complete with amenities, perfect for families and in the best location in Ubud ( about 5-7 mins away to Ubud Center). If anything, just make sure to bring some insect repellant because there are mosquitoes at night, which is expected since the place is nestled within a rice plantation. Also note there’s a bit of walk from the garage to the villa so might be a challenge if you have big luggages. Wayan and her husband were so helpful in carrying the lugagges and very accommodating given that we arrived and left in the wee hours of the morning. Highly recommend this villa!

What can I say about our stay, wow it was amazing! From the moment we arrived very late 2am Mr and Mrs Wayan was there to greet us . Villa was very private with plenty space for us , we was group of 5 people and everyone had large bedrooms . Cleaners was coming everyday with Mr Wayan checking if we needed anything. , he booked us massages then we asked last minute and 5 ladies came after 1 hour to the villa . What a treat! We paid 150,000 Ind for 1 hour of Balinese massage. Pool was lovely and clean. Outside the villa we had a rice fields farm so every day we can see a local farmer working , very peaceful place with ducks everywhere. Kitchen had everything you need to cook a meal , fresh water bottles. You can ask Mrs &Mr Wayan , they can arrange a taxi to take you places or activities. Communication was excellent! We all very happy to choose this villa for our first time in Bali and definitely recommend to family and friends. I hope to come back again! Mr and Mrs Nicolas
We really enjoyed the stay overall. Wayan was a great host. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and checking in and out was easy. Mr & Mrs Wayan came to welcome us upon our arrival. My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Wayan’s Villa. They have 5 big and beautiful rooms, common areas where we chill and chit chat together. The villa is just a 10 mins drive to the town center. Mr & Mrs Wayan is very responsive to my enquiries upon my booking. Not only that, they’ve help us to arrange for transports, massage at the villa, everything is just a breeze with their help. The Wayans were both excellent hosts. They met us upon arriving and gave us a tour and pointed out the amazing rooftop view. We watched the farmers harvest the rice... They offered helped with drivers, meals and reservations; however, we already had other arrangements. He helped us organize our Ubud itinerary. Every room felt like a master bedroom. The upstairs showers had a button to activate increased water pressure when needed, and the towels were great. The kitchen was well stocked, and the shared spaces made the family evenings enjoyable. The pool is surrounded by marble tile which is very slippery when wet, and one of us did fall, so be careful. We had a door lock issue that was taken care of extremely fast. We really enjoyed the peaceful location outside of busy Ubud. We didn't realize how much traffic there is in Bali. This location allowed us to head north with minimal wasted time. We hope to be back.

Beautiful Place in Ubud, i stay with a group of 8 and everyone love the villa. communication is efficient, i can easily recommend this place to anyone planning to go to Ubud. its 15 mins away from the heart of Ubud. the place is surrounded by beautiful rice paddies. the only thing needs to be improved is the sofa area, the cover is full of spots and didn't feel clean. other than that this place is great.

I've asked 3 hosts before I found this place because we arrived right before Nyepi and many hosts cannot help accommodate us...Wayan arranged everything for us as planned. Really appreciate the effort! The place is nice and clean. The view on the rooftop is great! We all enjoy the pool in the living area very much. The surroundings are peaceful and with a few walkable shops and restaurants to get basics, plus Ubud Center is only 10 mins drive away. Wayan also helped us arrange a car for trips and booking massages. The host is so warm and responsive during the whole stay.

Wayan's place was awesome for our group. very practical to have scooters to get around Ubud and throughout the ricefields. The restaurants near by were delicious. Wayan and her husband organised the scooter rental and even brought them right to the house. They also helped us with a yoga instructor and massages at the house. the pool and house layout was lot of fun. we really enjoyed the house and its cozyness.

We are a group of 7 people, loved our stay, worth the price. The place is just as described, it’s clean, neat, has water heater. It’s close to pyramids of chi which is what we went to Ubud for. Lots of vegan food options. You can park a car here and rent motorcycle. This place is perfect for group of friends looking for a peaceful vacation. The only downside would be wifi that doesnt reach our rooms but it helps us to socialize in the living room!

Staying here was very peaceful with the pool backed up to the lush canyon! The beds are amazing and very comfortable. Wayan is a great goat helping us with anything we needed. I would love to stay here again!
Pros: quiet but restful place, a vegan warung walkable which is great, huge n luxurious home. Wayan n hubby great host, always friendly and willing to help. Great communication at all time.. Cons: marbled toilet flooring which can be not too friendly for my parents (80years old)… but they manage without mishaps; kitchen a bit aged but totally functional. Good deal for 10pax :)
a lovely stay. eating homegrown rice was special. the pool was lovely and the attention from our host had all the warmth and generosity that Bali is famous for. wifi was slow so this is a place for chilling out. very easy to get into Ubud.
Had an absolutely lovely time! Wayan was attentive, approachable , flexible, friendly and an all round delight to dealing with. The breakfasts they cooked nothing short of a chefs kiss. The accommodation was fantastic. Amazing infinity pool looking out to jungle, with rice fields to the front of the property. Each room was en-suite and had extremely comfortable beds. There are multiple restaurants just a 5-10 minute walk from the accommodation, that serve very tasty (vegan!) food. Wayan was super helpful throughout our stay, organising laundry, a car service to take us around the sites of Ubud, and then also a larger car to take us onto our next destination. I can't recommend the place enough, it was perfectly rural to enjoy the sounds of the jungle, whilst also being close enough to Ubud that we could taxi in for food and drinks.

The villa is absolutely amazing and the hospitality from Wayan was amazing. It is located away from the main market street of Ubud and accessible by bike/car with 5-10 mins ride and serves a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. The rooms are big and were kept ready by the time we arrived for check-in. The entire staff/team took care of things really well and Wayan helped us rent bikes as well which were difficult to find due to peak tourist season. We stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved the place, the pool is big enough and nice and you can really relax at a peaceful location yet remain within accessible location to go to Ubud market or main street if want to. This was one of the best stays I ever had in terms of the hospitality by Wayan and entire team and would love to stay at the place again in case I visit again. They helped us book Mount Batur trek as well as massage at the villa and both the experience were great and I can easily say the hospitality and warmth with which we were welcomed is something i have never experienced before. There is small store at walking distance from where you can buy basic items and prepare breakfast etc in the kitchen which is big and well kept. A laundry service is also available at walking distance which was used by us and is really helpful if you like to travel light and get your laundry done at non-expensive price. Overall an amazing place and a really amazing stay, wouldn't think twice before coming back and staying here again. Just an absolute gem of place with great hospitality and service.

We stayed at this beautiful villa for 5 nights with our 2 young children and my mother in law. It was incredibly spacious and clean thanks to the lovely staff, Wayan, Putu and Ketut. The villa has a stunning landscaped garden which was certainly one of the highlights for me! The view from the very top (if you’re brave enough to go up there!) is beautiful. Unfortunately the villa is not suitable for young children - it is essentially an outside villa, except for the bedrooms. We found it rather difficult to completely relax with our 14 month old as there are multiple steps around the whole property and the pool is not fenced off, and only a couple of metres from the living area. It would be ideal for a family with slightly older children or multiple couples. The neighbourhood is quieter than downtown Ubud and has a village feel. There are a few restaurants within walking distance but the majority of services (including ATMs/banks, shops, etc) are about an 8 minute drive away. It is certainly possible to walk into town (20-30 minutes) but it was difficult for us with young children. Overall we would highly recommend this villa. You will certainly be made to feel at home thanks to the beautiful staff.

Das Haus war sauber, wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Wayan & ihr Ehemann waren sehr hilfsbereit und verständnisvoll. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es nur weiter empfehlen. Ausserdem ist die Lage von dem Haus hervorragend, man hat eine ruhige Umgebung und ist dennoch in 5min in Zentrum Ubuds. Vielen Dank für das Erlebnis.
Really good villa to stay in ubud with group of friends or family. stores and restaurants are just 10 minutes away from the villa. The villa is huge and is right in front of the paddy field. The wayans, husband and wife are really helpful in sorting things out for us.

Although the location is a little bit far from center, it’s convenient that they provide a car service which needs extra charge. Rooms are so clean. Public area and pool are cozy. This was by far one of the best experiences my friends and I have had. Wayan's villa was amazing! The pictures don't do it justice. The hospitality they showed my friends and I was unprecedented. One of the nights my friend got Bali Belly and they helped take care of him. They made us feel as if we were at home. The house was spotless. They arranged many excursions for us and got us great discounts as well. The location of the house was perfect, which made it was easy to travel around Bali. Wayan and her husband were always a phone call away to help with anything we needed, they would be over in a matter of minutes. I would recommend this villa to anyone and everyone.
Great place to stay away from noise. we rested in a small company, there was enough room for everyone with a margin. The villa is located away from Ubud (5 minutes by bike), it is very convenient for trips to waterfalls, rice terraces, temples and other attractions north of Ubud. We liked everything. Many thanks

Staying at the villa was amazing. We had incredible hosts in Wayan and Wayana who responded very quickly and gave us the utmost attention. The architecture of the house is great, the pool is nice and warm and is very inviting. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. I highly recommend this villa!

The house is clean and very pretty! The people are also very warm and friendly. It is a bit far from the center of Ubud but they provide car/motorbike (around 70-100k one way to the center by car with a driver, or around 60k/day for motorbike). Overall, great place for a relatively large group!
The villa is great. It felt like home. I like the lotus flowers by the pool. The rooster and hen couple who came to visit were pretty funny. Overall it was amazing. The water wasn't working when we arrived, but it was handled quickly and professionally. It's a nice 30 minute walk to the downtown. Wayan and Bryan were amazing hosts who we will miss a lot. Don't hesitate to stay here. There are many small shops and restaurants in the area if you just want to stay at the villa, plus meals and massages are available at the property. We will be back.

What an amazing stay. Robert, Wayan and her team, really set the bar high for an airbnb experience. The place itself was amazing. Everything was well kept and very clean. The airbnb is an out door villa meaning there is no real closed area besides the bedrooms which we were fine with. We loved being near the pool. Wayan had her team cooked breakfast for us on request and even had her family cook us a homestyle balenese dinner. She helped organizing transportation from the airport and back. Even helping us book massages at the house. Great job to all staff and especially Wayan. Really gave us an experience that we won't forget. Thank you.

Amazing villa just outside Ubud. Everything was perfect and we truly enjoyed our stay at the villa. The villa is huge and very clean. We rented a motor bike and we were able to order Grab cars from the villa. Communication with the host was perfect. We strongly recommand the villa.

Such an amazing space! Super close to downtown shopping/food and drivers were always available when asked for in advance and very accommodating. The pool was our favorite part and each and every bedroom was awesome. (Milk&Madu restaurant was 10min drive and our favorite place to eat!)
Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home! The place is waaay better in person vs in pictures. The villa is good for 10-15 people without feeling cramped. We like that the whole villa is very clean and well kept. All rooms are spacious, good quality of beds and pillows, TV available, good airconditioning and every bathroom has a good heating and water pressure. Common areas — dining, garden, kitchen, pool, and lanai are very homey fit for rest and relaxation. Roof deck available for parties. Kitchen has complete and functioning appliances. Staff is very warm and friendly, Wayan, accommodated most of our queries and requests. She helped us book home service massage therapists, cooked our breakfast, and they even have a list of activities and recos of things to do in bali. When we forgot something at the villa, she even brought it to us. We appreciate all her efforts! Location and directions which they shared was accurate and near enough city center. When we go back to Ubud, we will book this place again for sure! :)

Simply Stunning! Ubud Hillside is that little bit further from the central ubud village but well worth it. Mr and Mrs Wayan the villa managers are phenomenal. They went above and beyond our expectations and even ensured we made it to our brothers wedding even though the roads we blocked for KMs for the celebrations at the temple. The villa is stunning, the photos don’t show how incredibly spacious it is and the gardens and surrounds are gorgeous and so well maintained. 3 nights was not enough, we had a group of 5 adults and 3 toddlers and we could have stayed a lot longer if we had the time. The breakfast cooked daily was the icing on the cake. Delicious and such friendly staff. Will hopefully have the opportunity to come and stay again very soon.

This is an amazing house in a fantastic location! Our family had one of the lest Airbnb experiences here. The house is definitely amazing but what makes it stand out are the staff that help run the place - they went above & beyond to make our trip memorable. Wayan definitely needs a shout out! My mom left her phone at the house on the day we were leaving - Wayan took it on herself to drive to the Monkey forest & deliver it to us! A beautiful villa set in the lushest of backdrops of a jungle oasis. This is what we experienced at Robert’s villa. We were blown away at the setting and how accommodating Mr&Mrs Wayan were to our needs. We could not find fault and were extremely impressed with the property. Highly, highly recommend. The photos do not do it justice!
Beautiful villa with huge rooms and amazing pool. The staff was always ready to help ( ordering pizza for us, arrange the transfer to kecak dance, ect.) We had an amazing time there, highly recommend !
Fantastic, spacious villa. Great sized infinity pool. The place was sparkling clean and was cleaned everyday. The villa offers a lot of privacy. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and respond to our requests. They also offered advise and recommendations for activities. Cannot thank Mr & Mrs Wayan enough for their wonderful hospitality. Highly recommend this villa, it’s a peaceful oasis in the tropical jungle.
This is an amazing villa and the staff were so friendly and on to it with helping us with taxis to town (you can’t walk), we had a fantastic time!
We had the perfect hideaway for time with friends. The villa provides the perfect balance between privacy and social time. The rooms were sparkling clean and the service from the staff was warm and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier place.
Excelente villa, went with my friends we had an amazing time. The staff was amazing! We got picked up from the airport by an amazing person. The staff at the villa was incredible, they helped us with everything we needed, from setting us with motorbike to the amazing breakfast. The rooms were great, beds were supper confortable and very clean. Overall amazing villa and great experience. I really recommend the duo massage they do at the villa.
Everything we could have wanted and more! The villa is clean and comfortable. Quiet and well maintained. Mosquito nets were appreciated and the pool is clean and beautiful. The back drop and scenery are amazing. The staff are helpful, super friendly and definitely made us feel comfortable. They truly made our trip! Amenities and services were a nice touch. Breakfast, massages, tips on where to tour around and driver options were provided. We would definitely stay here and visit again.

Robert’s villa is incredible. Our stay was the perfect mix of relaxation, but with loads to do in Ubud centre and the surrounding countryside. Special thanks to Wayan and all of the staff. From the minute a driver met us at the airport and drove us up to Ubud, we had a great and easy experience. They kept the villa spotless, we had a fantastic and incredibly affordable breakfast cooked for us each morning (get the cheese omelette- served with bacon, toast and fresh fruit) and Wayan and her colleagues cooked a delicious, traditional Balinese dinner for us one evening. Whenever we wanted to get into town, Robert’s driver was happy to help us, and even took us on a trip out to the rice terraces. Highly recommend you stay here if you’re in Ubud!
Our stay at Hillside Villa was beyond our dreams. The house was beautiful and the view was spectacular. The yard was immaculate and the rooms were all very large. What really made our trip wonderful was the care from Wayan and Suri. They could not have been sweeter and catered to our every need. They made sure we enjoyed our stay in Ubud and got to see all the beautiful places it has to offer. They have hearts of gold and we will miss them the most. Thank you for a lovely stay during our first trip to Bali.
La maison est juste parfaite avec Wayan toujours là pour nous. Nous avons eu une semaine de vacances plus que parfaite. Possibilité de massage à domicile a très bon prix livraison de repas ou même location de scooter directement livré sur place sans parler devoir le repas du soir sur commande un délice de même pour les petits déjeuners.
La villa de Robert est conforme aux photos. La piscine à débordement et la vue sur la rizière sont magnifiques. Wayann et son mari vous mettront à l'aise et réaliseront tous vos souhaits. Ils sont vraiment supers ! Ils ont vraiment rendu notre séjour agréable et inoubliable. Je recommande vivement vous ne serez pas déçus !

The staff was very responsive and accommodating to questions and needs. Wayan was also very helpful with providing us with transportation around Ubud. Would definitely recommend staying here and would book again if I revisit Bali.
Very nice house in the middle of the jungle. Nicer than on pictures. We enjoyed our time in Ubud. We really appreciated chilling by the pool after a hot and busy day. Highly recommended.
Robert’s place makes you feel nothing, but relax. The layout makes you want to stay in all day. Staff was helpful and readily available when needed. I would definitely rebook.
Dear Robert! Thank you for hosting our group for 5 amazing days! Villa is great and beautiful exactly as showen on pictures. Quite far from Ubud but kind Wayan and her husbant always help you with taxi and with everything. So many thanks to them! this is quiet place surrounded by rice fields and rainforest. All furniture in a good condition, very clean pool. As additional suggestions: better to buy printer in case do not come with all documents to make copy to city centre. And gate pad lock!!! it is from 19 century I guess))) Also where were no blankets on the beds, only bed sheets, but actyally we didnt ask about it, so I guess it wouldn't be a problem. And just for information: doors to the bathrooms are quite transparent. But anyways we had an amazing experience and holiday on villa!
De villa is prachtig, heel ruim en super schoon! Kleine problemen worden zo opgelost en er is altijd iemand bereikbaar.
Прекрасная вилла в 5ти минутах езды на байке до центра Убуда!! отдыхали компанией 8 взрослых и Малыш! все было прекрасно, но у меня есть 2 замечания) Первое, это то, что ничего нет для ребенка, ни кроватки, ни стульчика, и даже когда мы попросили хотя бы одеяло отдельное, нам сказали, что тоже нету🧛♀️ И второе, самое главное!! Это пол! вроде стандартное покрытие на полу, типа мрамора, но не было у нас ни одного человека, кто бы не подскользнулся и не свалился!!! он нереально скользкий! очень опасно!!! Можно разбить себе голову на раз два!((( В остальном всё великолепно!

Robert’s house is just as described.....huge, beautiful and comfy. We enjoyed the great pool, well-equipped kitchen and open spaces. Very attentive to requests, and supported many laundry requests from our group. The traffic in Ubud was terrible requiring several hours to get anywhere in the area. As such plan accordingly! Otherwise, enjoy the experience!
Roberts villa was absolutely amazing! We booked very last minute and there was 8 people who I was traveling with, we got a response right away letting us know the villa was available and ready for us. The staff was outstanding! Great communication and always messaging me back right away. We were even offered to have breakfast served in the morning at the house which was a great touch! I would highly recommend😊 definitely will be back next time for a great experience in Ubud! Thank you!
