Exploring Umatreehouse. ecotreehouse_ bamboo house bali left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Umatreehouse. ecotreehouse_ bamboo house bali was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Tampaksiring plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Umatreehouse. ecotreehouse_ bamboo house bali painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

The place was exactly as shown in the pictures even better. If you love to be one with nature, this is your place. I was expecting the accomodation would be completely closed off and nature would be outside, but rooms and specially main bathroom was open thus we had small visitors (frogs) in the bathroom. This also meant the air conditioning unit at the main room was semi effective. Up stairs bed was just netted and open plan with no air conditioning but the night was cooler so my kids slept okay. The villa is ideally designed for couple to enjoy upstairs during the day in open design and downstairs at night when it was bit humid. It was beautiful but we being city dwellers were not used to being nature so close to our bed. Accomodation had all amenities. I think more detailed description of the rooms would allow the visitors to make better informed decision. The hosts were very responsive and catered for my special request.

Nous avons passez un bon séjour dans la cabane. Le cadre est magnifique, la villa est sublime mais quelques points ont retenus notre attention et font que nous ne reviendrons pas et ne le conseillerons pas à des amis. - beaucoup de poussière, le logement n’est pas nettoyé en profondeur - la piscine est très froide et le jacquzzi (qui est un bain) ne sait pas être rempli complètement vu la réserve limitée d’eau chaude. - très forte odeur de naphtaline - nous avons vu un rat dans la chambre le premier soir - dernier point qui n’est pas du ressort du propriétaire mais l’humidité générale surtout dans la chambre du dessus n’est pas à sous estimer. - 600k pour le bain de fleur me semble également fort cher…

Det eneste minus - som er et kæmpe stort minus - var rotterne. Vi så den første allerede efter 10 min. Og en mere igen kort efter. Pludselig hørte vi en del piben, og der var 3 stk i en rottefælde under køkkenvasken. Kadek og hans team fjernede fælden hurtigt efter forespørgsel, men de kunne ikke sætte en ny op. Vi så en rotte igen stikke hovedet ud ved spisebordet efter aftensmaden. Vi var meget tæt på at forlade stedet, men vi havde kun en overnatning. Så det lykkedes os alle 4 i familien at få lidt søvn til trods. Morgenmaden fik vi serveret i hytten, og vi ville pakke vores ting sammen efter vi havde spist. Der kom hurtigt en rotte på spisebordet. Det er simpelthen så klamt. Jeg skrev til Kadek og anbefalede dem at hente morgenmadsresterne ASAP. Jeg vil anbefale Kadek at fjerne muligheden for at spise mad i hytten men i stedet tilbyde det ved receptionen. I øvrigt dejlig mad. Og et hus, der (endnu) ikke er så ramt af fugt som mange andre steder. Men rotterne er en deal breaker.

Me and my partner did not last one night. Having said that the place was actually really pretty and it must be incredible to be one with nature with the views the pool etc Why did we leave? Simply put it was too many critters for us. We were sort of aware of the area but didn't realise the bed with AC downstairs would not have a mosquito net and huge gaps in it to let in everything. We attempted to plug the gaps (futile) and called quits when a unknown rodent type thing brushed my hand! The staff were very helpful and again the property was very good and to some extent as described, just missing the caveat which I have added.

Die Unterkunft entsprach den Beschreibungen. Leider lies sich die Badewanne außen kaum füllen und war somit nicht nutzbar. Die Reinigung hätte durchaus etwas gründlicher sein können. Außen einmal kurz wischen hätte dafür gesorgt nicht immer schwarze Füße zu haben. Im Bad war nach dem Duschen ein unangenehmer Geruch. Der Pool war extrem kalt und nicht nutzbar. Die Mosquitonetze müssten mal gewaschen werden, da diese teils sehr braune unschöne Flecken hatten. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft jedoch wie beschrieben und wir hatten dort einen schönen Urlaub. Das Frühstück für 2,50€ pro Person war angemessen. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Checkin und Checkout liefen reibungslos ab.

Locatie is onhandig maar accommodatie is in het echt nog mooier dan op de foto’s! Overnachten in een droom. De mensen deden hun best en waren vriendelijk. Communicatie via telefoon berichten en kon soms wat langer duren. Kwaliteit en porties van het eten waren matig. Gezien de kleine porties wilden wij om 19.30 per app nog eten bestellen maar de keuken was gesloten. Desalniettemin hebben we genoten en was het een sprookje.

Hard to find place as it is around 500m away from main road. Staff is very helpful and place is clean.

Was besonders hervorzuheben ist, war die Kommunikation. Alles lief über Whats Ap und es hat max. 5 Minuten gedauert bis eine Antwort kam. Das Essen war lecker und preiswert. Die Sauberkeit war leider nicht so perfekt. Die Bettlaken und Bettbezüge waren am ersten Tag schon mit vielen gelben Flecken versehen. Zusätzlich noch mit altem Blut. Nachdem wir das angemerkt haben wurden die Betten am nächsten Tag neu bezogen. Das Ergebnis war leider das selbe. Bei der 3. Nachbesserung konnten wir dann in optisch sauberer Bettwäsche schlafen. Zusammenfassend war es ein schöner Aufenthalt und der Manager hat das Frühstück für den gesamten Aufenthalt nicht berechnet. Fehler passieren, hier wurde professionell damit umgegangen. Noch eins für Menschen die Angst vor Krabbeltieren haben, die Villa ist sehr offen, es gibt Sie auch in der Villa.

Uma Treehouse was beautifully constructed and very stylish, and looked like the photos. The staff were lovely and very helpful and did delicious breakfast each day. It was so picturesque and peaceful. The description about creatures is very honest and clear, so we cannot complain about the rats that were seen in the house each day. It’s just the nature of being in an open home next to rice fields and where people live, and they left us alone. I just probably was expecting frogs and geckos and insects, not rats!? We were disappointed that all the pillows and the mattresses had embedded mould. The mosquito net was the same and very mouldy smelling and didn’t feel nice to be inside. A wash and new bedding would make a huge difference. It must be a challenge in an open rainforest setting. Otherwise I would recommend Uma for a unique back-to-basics, beautiful experience. The very close SOMI restaurant has amazing coffee and is also like a picture postcard.

Beau logement pour un séjour d'une nuit, mais il ne faut pas avoir peur des insectes / animaux ! Petit point amélioré sur la propreté. Cela reste une belle expérience :)

Pro: Super schönes Bambus-Haus. Nachts hat man eine ordentliche Dschungel-Geräusch-Kulisse. Echt ein Erlebnis! Con: kein Mosquito-Netz überm zweiten Bett. Anfahrtserklärung wäre hilfreich (man kann nicht mit Auto vorfahren). Und die Info, dass man essen vor Ort bestellen/liefern lassen kann, wäre super gewesen)

Kadek war immer und sofort zu erreichen. Wir hatten einige Probleme mit dem Strom, jedoch hat er direkt eine Lösung gefunden und uns geholfen! Die Unterkunft ist schön, die Lage ist jedoch etwas weiter weg von allem. Das Frühstück war dafür der wahnsinn!

Ubicado en plena naturaleza, has de tener en cuenta que puedes encontrarte todo tipo de insectos y reptiles cerca, incluso dentro del alojamiento. Tuvimos una mala experiencia con un posible nido de avispas que había en la parte superior de la mosquitera de la cama redonda. Digo posible nido de avispas porque el nido en sí no lo vimos, pero la presencia de más de 15 avispas allí nos incomodó muchísimo. En recepción nos dieron un espray y pudimos ahuyentarlas, aún así no dormimos muy tranquilos. Las camas son cómodas, la decoración es preciosa y es una casa con mucha intimidad. Nos encantó el baño con su ducha al aire libre, y los jabones olían impresionantemente bien. Un dato a mejorar, en su carta tienen muchas opciones para cenar, pero nada para vegetarianos, deberían tener más opciones. Un punto muy bueno a su favor es la rápida respuesta que tienen a todos los mensajes que les mandas. Esa comunicación tan fluida se agradece. Nosotros nos hospedamos 4 personas y fue perfecto.

We really enjoyed our stay very beautiful and peaceful being close to nature the beds are comfortable and breakfast was available to order. The hosts are helpful and friendly. We were worried about mosquitoes and other animals but that wasn't really an issue here. However we were visited by giant snails and saw a few chipmunks in the trees. Would recommend staying here and would love to come again.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at! The pictures don’t even do it justice I was speechless when I got to the airbnb! Hosts waited for me and guided me to my room and even hooked me up with a local driver that took me wherever I wanted to go with local recommendations for a good price. I loved that they brought fresh juice upon checkin in what a nice treat! I didn’t walk around much here but there is a couple local cafes within walking distance and food can be delivered from almost anywhere. There were a LOT of bugs so I ended up sleeping downstairs as bugs had already made themselves at home in the mosquito net upstairs. I also want to note that even the downstairs room isn’t completely enclosed either but I knew what I was signing up for when I booked the place. Wifi can be spotty as well but that seems to be normal in Bali. Other than that I would stay again and recommend to others if you’re okay with being apart of nature!

Очень красивая и днем и ночью, все продумано до мелочей, из 7 мест проживания эта вилла нам понравилась больше всего - что сама вилла, что территория - фото не передают красоты виллы, точно стоит своих денег, завтраки можно заказать на виллу всего за 50к, при этом они свиные вкусные, в общем вилла точно стоит своих денег, очень рекомендую - подъезд комфортный, тихо, и высокий сервис!!!

Bellissimo alloggio completamente nella giungla. Riesci a disconnetterti dal mondo, che era proprio quello che ci serviva. Non abbiamo nemmeno avuto problemi con i vari animaletti che ci sono, ma sei nella giungla c’è da aspettarselo. L’unica nota negativa è stata un po la pulizia in generale (un po di polvere, la vasca esterna sporchissima inutilizzabile) che comunque non ha rovinato la bellezza di un alloggio così incantevole. Migliorando delle piccole accortezze è l’alloggio perfetto! Colazione buona, economica ed abbondante. Grazie mille a presto ☺️☺️

Honestly one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. It felt completely surreal — so private, peaceful and even more stunning in real life than the photos. We stayed for three nights with our children and genuinely wished we’d booked longer. We had no issues at all with wildlife, just one little frog in the garden! One of our favourite things was walking through the rice fields in the morning and experiencing a quieter, more local side of Bali. TREELØSOFI nearby does amazing coffee and matcha overlooking the rice fields, Somi Restaurant is absolutely incredible, and Terra was lovely for food and drinks. We also loved stopping at local warungs and being able to walk around the village. It was exactly what we wanted — peaceful, non-touristy and a lovely way for the children to experience a different side of Bali. Such a special place. We had the best time and would 100% stay again.

Fantastisk upplevelse att bo i detta fina hus! Riklig frukost, god mat, snabb kommunikation! Skulle gärna bo där igen!

Logement sur 2 étages avec un espace un peu plus fermé au rez. Moustiquaires disponibles et possibilité de se faire livrer à manger. Zone avec quelques possibilités de restauration. Personnel réactif. Niché au milieu d’une végétation luxuriante, cadre très joli.

Un alojamiento muy bonito y diferente. Recomiendo que si vienes a Bali vivas al menos una noche en un sitio así ☺️

We had a lovely time and wonderful stay. We were worried about mosquitoes since this is in a jungle but there was mosquito netting in the open room and another room had aircon with enclosed windows ; so we had no issues with mosquitos at night. Repellent and electronic repellent were also provided. I highly recommend our stay it was really memorable. Service and staff were good. I wanted to stay at bamboo Green village but this felt much better and worth the price ( I actually visited green village!)

Once in a lifetime experience, the sounds of nature, waterfall and the views are incredible. Stunning accommodation, friendly helpful staff and great food. Well worth the visit and highly recommended.

What a spot! We enjoyed our stay so much, the feeling of being so deep in nature with the open plan and up stairs area was something we absolutely loved. We were able to hire a scooter locally and explore the area with ease. We loved how authentic the area felt with very little western influence.

Amazing experience at Umatreehouse. We stayed here with our two children for a couple of nights for our anniversary to explore the nearby rice terraces. You are definitely connected with nature with the treehouse being open to the elements. The floating breakfast was a lovely touch, but the pool was a tad chilly on the day! We hadn’t considered that our kids would be in a separately secured bedroom downstairs (locked from inside) so bear in mind if travelling with young kids. Overall great and I’m glad we were able to experience this stunning property.

Responsive and nice environment Quite flexible The first aid kit could be more well equipped as there isn’t even a bandage after I fell down the stairs (oh and the stairs are quite slippery during rainy days :( )

This place was amazing! It was beautiful, private and as described. The hosts were very responsive. The only downside was cars cannot go all the way to the villa so we had to walk from the main road and there were some bugs due to being in the jungle. I would still highly recommend this place.

This is a wonderful villa with beautiful surroundings and every amenity you could need. The staff were so helpful and very responsive. We used the on site restaurant to have dinner in the villa and the food was delicious! The only negative points to this villa are the location (but if you are planning on spending your days around the pool and villa then this is irrelevant) and there was extremely loud chainsawing happening nearby from 8am until we left at 10am on the second day - a very loud wake up call! 😅 Everything else was perfect!

absolutely beautiful stay me and my friend had a little bet on who would book the best surprise accomodation she booked a very fancy hotel I booked this she agreed I won. the place is lovely and you will feel like you are staying in the jungle its awonderful stay and would highly recommend.

우붓에서의 최고의 하루 였어요!! 프라이빗한 2층 집과 마당에서 가족끼리만 수영도하고 바로 욕조에서 따뜻한 물에 들어가는걸 반복하며 즐겁고 행복한 시간을 보냈습니다!! 필요한 요청사항들은 빠르고 친절하게 반영해주셨어요!! 20개월 아기, 6세 어린이, 어른 2명이 1박했는데 2박이었으면 더 좋았을것같네요. 문이 오픈형이고 2층이라 아기가 좀 위험하지 않을까, 벌레 많을까 걱정했는데 생각보다 괜찮았어요~언젠가 다시 방문할 수 있기를요~

A 100 percent unique experience. We couldn't believe our eyes when we first arrived. It's in the middle of the nature, so don't be afraid of the small friendly geckos and frogs

环境优越，我们在这里睡的非常舒服，如果想要体验雨林的感觉，请定这里！去的时候是雨季早上下了很大的雨，和昆虫声、鸟叫一起的白噪音非常助眠。前台帮忙提了行李、介绍了房间、安排了按摩和早餐，非常贴心，可以放心选择他们的服务！这里离乌布皇宫比较远，骑摩托的话大概30分钟，路况还可以新手也能骑过去，但是晚上天黑比较危险。总体来说，物有所值，强烈推荐这里！

We enjoyed our Christmas at Kadek's, he surprised us with cookies and then again with cake. Staff obliging and friendly. Truly a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle if Ubud. Would love to go back.

We are a family of 4 and stayed for 2 nights. The villa is beautifully constructed out of bamboo. It is set amongst the trees so felt very private. There is only one villa here so again a nice private setting. There are some great restaurants within walking distance in the rice fields which provided a great outlook. It is a great place to relax. The room upstairs has no aircon but it was cool enough that we didn’t need it. This room has a mosquito net over the bed. The room downstairs is enclosed and has aircon. We didn’t experience any issues with mosquitos during the night. We had a rental car so getting around was easy enough. We found a tubing place that was only 5 minutes away which filled up our day. I feel some kind of transport would be required if staying here for more than a few days. If you want a nice relaxing atmosphere then this is a great place!

Stunning treehouse. Clean and luxurious. Initially was worried that the upstairs room doesnt have AC but it ended up cooling down at night and we slept upstairs really comfortably.

We stay in this property for two nights. One if the best tree villa we seen before. It was magical nd felt like in fairyland. Staff was supporting and taking care of each things. Very clean nd superb maintain. I highly recommend to everyone. Do visit once.

My family and me enjoyed every single moment spent in the Umatreehouse. The nature surrounding the villa is awesome, the staff dedicated and extremly helpful and friendly, starting with organising the scooters, a therapist for a massage on quite short notice or a transport to the airport. A real jewel!

A wonderful stay at the treehouse, in such beautiful surroundings and very quiet. The upstairs is opened living space and downstairs closed with a little opening for critters so I would say this is something to consider but it has got AC and a super cosy bed. The floating breakfast in the morning was just wonderful, Kadek is happy to organize anything you need too. We did have a walk to the restaurant Somi nearby which was lovely. My family had a really lovely stay exploring what was around the area and a tick off the bucket list for us whilst in Bali. Thank You for having us. ❤️

Just like the photos and description. Lovely, peaceful and private location. Pool is lovely. We visited in November and did not have mosquitoes. No AC upstairs, but didn't worry us a bit. 30min from Ubud centre by Grab. Caution: Although the location is in Tampaksiring.. it is not exactly where shown on AirBnB. (This we have found is not uncommon in Bali). Make sure you confirm exact location/Pin with host before you book a ride.

자연친화적인 숙소라 걱정이 많았지만, 별탈없이 잘 이용했습니다. 벌레는 정말정말 작은 날벌레들만 있었어요. 1층은 생각보다 밀실이 아니였지만 걱정과 달리 벌레나 동물들이 들어오지 않았답니다.(신기해요) 2층 침대에서는 잠자기에는 적합하지 않을 듯 합니다. 낮에 시간을 보내는 용으로 좋아요~ 친절한 직원들과 신속함 의사소통 아주 좋았습니다. 그랩 배달도 됩니다~

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this beautiful, unique accommodation. Being in the rice paddies, away from the hustle and bustle was a welcome relief. Some Bali down the road is highly recommended for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The accommodation was just as described and very comfortable. Based on other reviews, we brought our own mosquito net for downstairs and I was very glad we did. Thank you for a lovely stay! 🙏✨🌏

Our stay at Uma Treehouse was unforgettable! The treehouse itself is stunning—its unique design made us feel like we were in a magical hideaway surrounded by nature, yet still very comfortable and well taken care of. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always friendly and eager to help with anything we needed. Every detail, from the cozy atmosphere inside to the views outside, made the experience even more special. We truly felt at home here, and it was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. We would happily come back again and recommend Uma Treehouse to anyone looking for a memorable and one-of-a-kind stay. 10/10!

Alleen maar goede woorden over de accommodatie, ligging, een ware droom van een villa. Alles is aanwezig en is ontbijt/lunch/diner is boekbaar tegen betaling. Communicatie met personeel via chat was handig, alhoewel je wel overal als gast zelf om moet vragen. Personeel iets minder service gericht of pro actief. Maar zodra je iets vraagt, snelle respons en alles is nagenoeg mogelijk. Top Verblijf! 😃

We loved the umatreehouse, a true indoor-outdoor experience. Just the time (3 days) was too short to fully explore the surrounding rice fields, visit Ubud town and do activities like nearby river tubing.

A really beautiful tree house. There are 2 bedrooms, one is an open area, basically outside, only has mosquito net, but given it’s opened, there are still plenty mosquitoes and flies tried to come in to the net. Downstairs has the close bedroom and has aircon. Even tho is closed, there are still gaps beside the doors, mosquitoes can still come in. I strongly recommend to bring electric mosquito repellent to have a restful night. Overall, it is a really amazing spot, good experience.

Luogo magnifico; dovessi un giorno tornare a Bali spero di riuscire s trovare di nuovo disponibilità in questa casa. La vista dal piano superiore è perfetta! tranquillità assoluta. Unico consiglio: un asciugacapelli più potente 😂 e qualche appendino in più nei bagni 😂. per il resto, a parte le battute, ringrazio infinitamente kadek per aver creato questa dimora fantastica. un abbraccio forte, soprattutto ai ragazzi dello staff che sono stati di una gentilezza inaudita 🤗

Staying at Uma Treehouse was an absolute dream! The views are breathtaking, the design is beautiful, and you really feel surrounded by nature. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and everything feels peaceful and relaxing. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the magic of Bali. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Uma Treehouse. It was even more beautiful than the pictures. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to help us with everything we needed. We hope to come back again soon.

Cabane magnifique dans la nature aux sons des animaux. Nous avons pu manger le soir à l’accueil avec un service au petit soin pour nous. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et servi à la cabane. Nous avons adoré notre séjour ici.

Beautiful Treehouse and terrific staff. We arrived at sunset and were immediately amazed by the entrance. Situated in a Bali Forest, we enjoyed the jungle sounds and views. It was a privelige to stay here. Big beds and outside shower and pool, all super nice. Thank ypu

Such a beautiful and unique place to stay! The treehouse vibe is super dreamy—perfect for 1 or 2 nights if you’re after something outdoorsy and relaxing. We lost power for a few hours one evening, but the staff were amazing—they organised transport and we went out for dinner, and the power was back by the time we returned. Super accommodating! The breakfast and flower bath add-ons were super affordable and honestly so worth it. The bath was stunning and breakfast was delicious. Keep in mind: it’s very open to nature, so expect bugs and little critters. The pool was bigger than expected and lovely, and even though it rained our first night, it didn’t bother us at all. Would definitely recommend for a chill, nature-y escape!

This was an adventure. Two nights was perfect and it is actually better than the pictures. We would recommend breakfast at the nearby restaurant Somi (5 min walk). There are animals in the cabin, because it is all open. Some like it, some dont. For us two nights was just perfect. No more no less.

My hubby and almost 2 year old loved our stay here.. I will say if you have a few luggage like we did just be mindful cars can’t access right to the property but the staff was very helpful in carrying the luggage and stroller for us it’s about a 100meters walk from the road side to the reception area which was not a problem for us. We slept in the downstairs bedroom cause we wanted AC as upstairs is more of an open concept. This property is so beautiful tranquil, secluded and we’re nature meets and luxury. Highly recommend

Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum. Mit soviel Liebe gebaut und eingerichtet. Der Pool und die Outdoor Badewanne sind auch ein absoluter Hingucker. Wer fernab von der turbulenten Stadt was intimes und ruhiges sucht ist hier genau richtig. Meinem Wunsch die Badewanne mit Blüten zu füllen wurde nachgegangen und es war richtig schön. Vorort, wenn man sein idyllisches Fleckchen nicht verlassen möchte kann man super easy per Nachricht bei der Rezeption Essen bestellen. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und mega angachiert. Da die Unterkunft überall offen ist muss man natürlich auch mit verschiedensten Tieren rechnen. Ein kleines Abendteuer inklusive ☺️

Five Star UBud jungle vilka Review This villa is incredible! The pictures accurately represent the beautiful property. We loved the pool and hot tub, and the kids had a blast. The included meals were a lifesaver, especially the delicious breakfast (order the night before!). The location is perfectly secluded and quiet, ideal for a relaxing getaway. My only complaint? It's so popular, it's hard to book! If you see an opening, grab it immediately. You won't regret it!

This is beautiful place surrounded by nature if you want to move away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is very secure and private and the staff made sure that everything was taken care of. Including helping with luggage for a 6am checkout. Delivering the food to the door when we ordered on grab etc, the team was jut a message away. I will go back any day to this wonderful property.

Uma treehouse is a beautiful hideaway for sure! Kadek has built a gorgeous property, I would highly recommend staying here! He also referred a driver from the same area named Dicky, who became our driver for the week! Dicky was extremely knowledgeable and just a fun guy.

everything worked out perfectly with our stay. the place was unique and had the perfect balance of nature and luxury/sophistication. definitely recommend this place. one thing which we were completely relieved with is that we did not encounter any mosquitos at our stay. it is as though they knew to keep away for privacy. add this to your place to visit on your bucket list. you will not be disappointed!

The lobby girl working there Liya was extremely helpful. Right before checking in I had a knee injury and it was very hard for me to walk to the villa. She helped me checkin and walked me to the villa. She even was very proactive on getting the hot water bucket for my injury to make me feel better. The host Kadek even gave me the reference on the doctor and the details of how can I call a doctor at my comfort. Overall we had a great experience staying in. The only suggestion I would like to give to all the guests is it will be best for you to checkin while there is some sunlight as it’s very dark the time when we checked in and we even got lost.

I can't write enough about this place! From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had arrived in paradise. A very private and secluded space, overlooking the rice fields and surrounding jungle. After a late night dip in the pool, we slept in the outside bedroom, enjoying the cool night air and sounds. The staff brought our pre-ordered meals, which we enjoyed in the outdoor kitchen. Very communicative staff, through messaging. If you choose to stay here, I would recommend maximizing your time in the treehouse. Such a beautiful relaxing and luxurious space, making us feel like we were in the middle of a remote Balinese jungle! To say we didn't want to leave was an understatement! The only caution I would have is that there are some stairs that could be tricky for some folks, if stairs are an issue for you. If I could give this place more stars, I would! Worth the price to splurge on it for one night!

One of the best accommodation experiences as a family we have ever had. An incredible property. This is like nothing we have ever stayed in before. Kids absolutely loved it. Highly recommend staying at the Umatree house Also, Kadek is an amazing kind person. During our stay our daughter become unwell and medical attention was required. This happened at 01:30am. We contacted Kadek and within 2 minutes he had organised a local driver to drive us to a 24/7 medical centre in Ubud. He also met us in person himself to ensure we were picked. On top of this we then checked out the next day and he had a gift waiting for my daughter. My wife and I cannot thank him enough. Do yourself a favour and book your next trip at Kadek’s tree house, you will not be disappointed.

This treehouse was absolutely incredible! Truly a one of a kind experience! From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to a whole new world. The design is sleek and modern, yet seamlessly blends with the natural surroundings. Yes, there are bugs and mosquitoes, but that’s expected. They do provide bug spray. We found the upstairs bed, with its mosquito net, to be much more effective at keeping bugs away compared to the downstairs bed, which isn’t fully enclosed (the door and window hinges have wide gaps). We spent the day in the pool and lounging in the open air hammock. The floating breakfast, which you can order the night before is a treat. Communication with the host was seamless and easy. The treehouse is located in a somewhat remote area, so I’d recommend hiring a driver to make transportation easier. Overall, it was a magical experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique getaway in Bali.

Our stay at the umatreehouse was awesome. The property is amazing . Away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud city you can relax and rejuvenate yourself here amidst greenery and fresh air. Our host Lia was really nice and helpful.

Uma Treehouse was nothing short of magical! The best Air bnb I have ever booked! I had to pinch myself every morning waking up to the birds chirping and fresh breakfast delivered to this fully private haven. I arrived at 3am and staff was waiting for me with welcome smiles. Dicky, the driver they suggested delivered me from the airport easily and I hired him for a full day tour to all of the local attractions the next day for a very reasonable price. Easy to get into Ubud for dinner every night with a 30 min ($10) Grab ride. Be aware the space is indoor/outdoor and outside of the main city so although it was very nice, if you are looking for traditional luxury with air conditioning and bugs this is not the place for you.

This is definitely a once in a lifetime stay, not for the faint of heart though. Many ants and bugs in the outdoor and indoor areas and we were visited by a mammal of some kind on our last night! We loved it though, definitely the place to go to connect with nature. The restaurant down the road Somi is amazing and has a dog that will guide you through the rice fields to the restaurant and back. Staff are lovely and responsive and will organise floating breakfasts and flower baths very nicely! The food ordered to the villa is from Somi and is usually cold when it gets there so it’s sometimes better just to go there, it’s a very short walk! Beautiful, unbeatable location and views if you’re brave enough for the bugs! 🐜

It was a very unique experience for us city people to stay at a treehouse during our babymoon. The location is around 30-40 mins drive from Ubud town but the surrounding is absolutely amazing - felt like staying inside a jungle at a luxurious treehouse with all amenities we need. We had a very good sleep on the comfortable bed and surprising no mosquitoes at all! Totally worth the price!

This place right here is 10/10 worth every penny. We stayed only one night in the lower enclosed part. While I wish we stayed longer this was our favorite stay on our 10 day trip. It was absolutely stunning and comfortable and completely surrounded by nature. It’s new which I also loved about its pristine condition and not run down like a lot of places in Bali can be. If you’re thinking about it book it! The help desk was so helpful with lugging our luggage and bringing a floating breakfast. I would definitely stay here again, it was beyond all expectations. One thing to note is the bottom floor is mostly enclosed but it has huge gaps by the natural wooden beams that bugs can easily get in, we didn’t have critter problems while we were there but just FYI, they offered bug spray. The AC worked as best as it could with these gaps, we brought the fan they offer downstairs and man that fan and the AC kept us cool all night. Great hosts. We loved every bit of this gorgeous treehouse!

What am incredible place 😍 it's the most unique place we have ever stayed in. The hosts are very pleasant and attentive. I left my shoes and they were able to deliver them to my next accommodation. p.s. this is an open house, you will have bugs, frongs, and other insects. This didn't ruin our stay 😍

A beautiful treehouse villa which is exactly as shown on the pictures. It’s a lovely secluded hideaway from the hustle and bustle. It is very much in the jungle and as such you will encounter wildlife. The villa is located in a traditional area of ubud, with few amenities. It is Quite far from the main centre with no shops nearby. The food is available from the staff which was delicious and authentic Balinese food. A lovely stay for a couple of nights to escape the bustle of the main tourist areas and to see/experoence real Balinese neighbourhood and well worth the price.

No es un hotel, es una experiencia, es un must en Bali!!! Casa preciosa, de ensueño, nueva, limpia, detalles con mucho gusto. El baño perfecto y la ducha es espectacular. Dormimos en la cama superior, al aire libre y sin mosquitera. Maravilloso despertar con esas vistas. No vimos apenas insectos, que era mi mayor temor. La piscina muy coqueta, fresquita, pero aún así nos bañamos muchas veces en el día que estuvimos. Pedimos cervezas y nos la trajeron al alojamiento, también la cena, así como el desayuno flotante, todo cómodamente pedido por el móvil. Estaba todo bueno y a precios muy económicos. Los mie goreng buenísimos! Y el desayuno super completo! Los dos trabajadores que están allí son muy amables. Nos organizaron a su chofer para nuestro siguiente destino a Padangbai. Para nosotros estar allí desde las 14:00 hasta las 11 del día siguiente, de relax, piscina y sin hacer nada, fue suficiente y este día lo recordamos como uno de los más top de nuestros 17 días en Indonesia.Hacedlo!

You want to stay somewhere special, authentic, private, clean, beautiful and away from other tourists? Stay Here!! Our family of 4 stayed here whilst celebrating a 50th birthday on our first trip to Bali. We all took turns staying upstairs/outdoors and downstairs in the air conditioning. The house is fantastic and although a treehouse, the design and details are very well considered (recessed lighting, international PowerPoints, blockout curtains - all the extra bits that matter.) The reception is lovely and very accommodating. Daily room service too. The location is approx 30min from central Ubud, but you certainly don’t need to visit extra rice fields - you are staying in them. Gojek was quick and easy for Taxis into town. After a day in Ubud; this is an oasis to escape to. We loved eating at Sambal Locok just a walk up the road. Don’t overthink it. Just book it. Great value. Lovely hosts.

This place is incredible and better than imagined! we had braced ourselves for the insects and other less glamorous parts about being so exposed to nature but we are thankful that the house was really clean. Pool was a little cold but otherwise everything was perfect. The breakfast and food charges were very reasonable as well and there’s a dedicated reception area to render help whenever needed.

This treehouse is ideal for a romantic getaway. The place itself feels quite surreal and is immersed in nature. I’ve only good things to say about this treasure and its staff. However, the hot tips are to bring your own wine if travelling. (The entire town does not sell wine). Yes the gaps downstairs make it possible for uninvited guests although we had no issue with creatures as stated in prior reviews.

Wonderful stay！ The highly original treehouse was not only romantic, but also very new and clean. The highlight was flower pool for my daughter（the surprise）, it was amazing. Also, the staff are kind and attentive. Thank you for everything. However, most of the property is outdoors, so be careful if you have a strong dislike of insects. However, when we stayed, there weren't many insects. Although it is located in the countryside, far from the airport and a little far from the center of Ubud, it will definitely be a stay of great value. We definitely want to go back there.

Onvergetelijke ervaring in een prachtige omgeving. Een unieke ervaring en een bijzonder mooie bamboe huis midden in de natuur. Aan alles is gedacht. Ondanks dat er maar 2 huizen zijn, heeft Kadek een lobby huis met 4 medewerkers die erg lief behulpzaam en proactief zijn. Ontbijt als floating breakfast is erg goed en betaalbaar, zo ook de prachtige zwembad decoratie. Bijzondere complimenten voor Jouda en Joga en meisje waar ik naam van ben vergeten. Ik heb nu al heimwee.

This has to be one of the most beautiful and amazing Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. A 3 storey treehouse with views over a rice paddy, outdoor pool and bathtub, comfy beds, a hammock net and most stunning architecture. It's a very unique place. We stayed here for our mini-moon after our wedding to getaway from it all and relax, and it was perfect. Staff are so friendly and lovely, and did the most unbelievable flower pool for us on the first night. For breakfast and lunch we went to the Cafe nearby called SOMI which I highly recommend. It is a remote location but Grab was still easy to get, and we didn't mind travelling a little bit. Overall highly recommend!

Wow it is absolutely stunning! Looks just like the photos. We really loved our stay. Only things I would say is the driveway is not suitable for a car only motor bike so it was a little hard bringing in our luggage but the staff is so sweet and offered assistance! Also the bedroom is not completely closed so if you are a light sleeper I would recommend sleeping with ear plugs because you are one with nature the bugs birds dogs and chickens make noise all night. I am ok and can sleep through anything but my partner had to use ear buds to sleep through the night. About 30/45 mins from the center of ubud but we were looking to get out of the hustle and bustle so it was perfect! Would definitely recommend!

Wow what can I say, From booking to checkout this experience was great. We arrived at 2am in the morning and the host still had staff waiting for us to checkin bring our luggage and provide tea to settle us in! Everything we needed was just a What’s app text away! In room massages? no problem! order food, you got it! Need some transport? What time its there! Only thing I can say is if you are used to western food portions the western food options were smaller portions than we are used to. However Nasi goreng and mei goreng were great! I was worried about bugs and mosquitoes etc being an open treehouse in the jungle but they were not as much of a problem as I thought they would be! Barely noticed them. The location and treehouse itself were stunning! Host was very responsive and helpful and friendly you will not regret! Highly reccomend! Thank you so much for our fantastic experience 🙏🏻

It’s a beautiful private villa, built with bamboo. The upper floor is an open bedroom, which bring you closer to nature. It’s surrounded by beautiful coconut trees, and rice paddy filed in front. The main bed faces sunset. It’s was indeed a memorable night.

We had a wonderful stay at Uma Treehouse. The place was idyllic and was the perfect escape in the rainforest. The staff were extremely kind and catered for all our requests. Special mention for the outstanding and value for money breakfast selection available on request (fresh fruit, selection of juices, pastries, nasi/mie goreng, eggs and bacon, coffees/teas). The remote location is not an issue with drivers available all through the day (via Grab) and Tampaksiring a close walk away.

This is a very quiet beautiful nature filled accomodation. We loved every minute of it, from the geckos, birds, squirrels, and the refreshing pool. Spotlessly clean, really comfy beds, great service. It is off the beaten track so follow the Instructions. The only local restaurant is amazing and worth the visit. The accomodation also delivers breakfast and dinners which were also great. Bring whatever you need with you as there are few local conveniences within walking distance. We (family with 2 kids)loved this unique adventure and would highly recommend.

Beautiful and perfect place to stay✨

There are a lot of options for accommodation in Bali but we are so pleased we chose the tree house! A really unique experience and so many lovely design features. We personally loved that it was a little remote but do consider this if you want to be walking distance to lots of things. You fall asleep to the sound of the jungle and it’s really magical. We had breakfast and dinner each evening cooked to order at a very reasonable price. Don’t overthink this one, just book it, it’s super romantic and also great for adventurous kids! Be prepared for a few bugs, it’s all part of the joys of the jungle!

Exceptionally tranquil and beautiful place. Very well furnished rooms and amenities. Very reasonably priced breakfast. Nice restaurant nearby along the rice fields. Very friendly and helpful staff .

Super cool spot! It’s definitely in the jungle so be prepared for jungle sounds, bugs, etc. Limited dining around, will have to travel into Ubud for more options. If you’re looking for jungle seclusion, this is it!

简直是世外桃源！房间非常干净，也没有想象中蚊虫多，完全可以接受。楼下有空调也可以关上门窗。位置比较偏僻但私密性很好，服务和吃的都非常好👍

Perfekt for par. Helt privat, ingen gjenboere. Kun lyden av sildrende vann og fugler, frosker, lizziard og gresshopper. Hanen vekker deg i god tid til frukost. Vel fungerende internett. Alt av nødvendig utstyr pluss litt til fantes i huset. Kort vei til en koselig liten restaurant, men også et enkelt godt kveldmåltid var å få på stedet. Når vi var der i medio februar var det fritt for mygg. Kun 23 grader på natten var også bra. Et eventyr av en dusj, med godt varmt vann, og ellers godt design og solid byggverk hele bygget. Kadek og øvrig personal alltid smilene og alltid til hjelp.

Wow!!!! This place is stunning. If you are thinking about booking, just do it! It’s like staying in a Polly Pocket house. Everything about it is beautiful. When you walk through the door it’s like stepping into another world. The top floor bedroom with the hammock is amazing and the view over the garden and rice fields. It’s very private and peaceful. The service is really good, everyone is so friendly and the food is great. There is also a lovely local cafe in the rice fields called Somi with amazing views. We really didn’t want to leave, we loved it so much. We also didn’t have any problems with bugs in case anyone is worried about that!

Einfach sensationell! Tolle Villa und immer wieder sehr gerne! Ist etwas abgelegen aber somit super ruhig und chillig. Das essen wird in die Villa gebracht. Sehr nette aufmerksamer Service und alles top sauber und gepflegt. Was ich allerdings bei vielen Bambu Villas in den Rezensionen gelesen habe, dass Ding mit den Tieren. An alle Stadtkinder (ich bin selbst eins)! Ihr wollte eine stylische, offene, private Unterkunft mitten im Dschungel? Dann ist es eben KEIN ZOO! In welchem ihr die Tiere im Terrarium bestaunen könnt!!!! Und als Tipp „das gefährlichste Lebewesen auf unsere Kugel ist der Mensch“ 😜 PS: Ich lebe immer noch und nach dem Aufenthalt sehr glücklich 🙃
