Exploring Vibrant Jungle Villa with Infinity Pool left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Vibrant Jungle Villa with Infinity Pool was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Vibrant Jungle Villa with Infinity Pool painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

I think this place would be nice but for us it wasn’t. We were told 8pm two nights before we arrived that there would be light construction going on, when we arrived it was distracting but we thought we could deal with it. The next morning we woke to drills, tapping, engines and what could only be described as heavy construction. We informed the host we couldn’t stay there as we couldn’t hear each other talk let alone relax. Once starting that process is where it got really bad as the host wouldn’t reply to my messages about what level of refund we would get and Airbnb told us that since he told us about the noise it couldn’t be a full refund. Absolute joke and the hosts un responsiveness was shocking. Sure it’s a lovely place but a no from me.

ATTENTION ARNAQUE !!!! Villa beaucoup mieux sur les photos que en vrai, beaucoup d'insectes de tous genres ( normal nous sommes en pleine nature ) mais autant d'araignées et de très grosse taille peuvent vous gâcher vos vacance surtout si vous avez des enfants. La route menant au centre ville est très dangereuse, environ 2.5 Km très fréquenté par les véhicules et par des chiens et très sinueuses sans trottoirs et non éclairée ce qui rend les sorties à pied impossible avec des enfants ( donc prévoir un budget taxi qui peut très vite devenir énorme surtout en passant par le propriétaire du logement ). Un chef cuisinier était prévu pour notre semaine mais annulé le jour de notre arrivée sans aucune autre solution de remplacement donc tous les soirs un taxi pour aller au restaurant. Et enfin, nous avons choisi cette villa pour le contact avec les gens mais il fût inexistant avec Made Ketut ( ou plutôt Jonathan de son vrais nom mais il préfère Made ça fait plus rever ) malgré nous avoir donné plusieurs RDV à la villa sans les avoir respecter et sans nous prévenir bien sûr. Bref, très mauvaise expérience pour nous a cause de se propriétaire mais rassurer vous Ubud est très bien et il existe beaucoup d'autre logements mieux plus facile d'accés a un meilleur prix.

Made and his team went to every effort to make our stay as amazing as possible. Daily breakfasts and room servicing was a delight and unexpected. Additional services available such as drivers & massages was also an extra we enjoyed during our stay. Whilst the property is a little aged, it was comfortable and we spent our time relaxing and swimming in the pool which was cleaned daily. Many recent reviews mentioned construction next door. We were pleased to see that this has been completed. However we were a little disappointed that the cafe is now open (from 23rd Dec) and there was music playing from 8am until after 3pm, 6 days a week. Additionally staff are onsite a lot of the time and moving and talking beside the Villa which interrupted us and at times ruined the tranquility often spoken of in other reviews.

Take note of all the guests complaining about noise. It was intolerable. There was banging, sawing, grinding, yelling, and hocking loogies within 10 feet of us - with only a piece of fabric separating us from the construction next door - from 8a to 5:30p every single day, even in the pouring rain. We had to hide out in the farthest bedroom (with no WiFi) with the doors closed any time we were there to avoid the noise. There was very little enjoying the living area or pool because it was just too loud, it gave me a splitting headache and scared my kids. And I’m from NYC so used to noise. The space is nice, cleanest pool I’ve had access to in Bali, and the staff is great but if we’d stayed one more day I would have moved. No sense in paying extra for a great space when you’re stuck in a tiny bedroom. And Made shrugs it off.

Nice villa but a bit far from town. We didn’t feel safe at night as we didn’t see security once the whole time. It’s a dark and scary walk from the road to the villa. Lots of wildlife about with mozzies everywhere. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Beautiful place but a bit far from the Center. Difficult to get taxis. U have to walk around 100 m from the road to reach the house experience in the day light is good but in dark I was scary few lights were not working. No house keeper or watchman at the house. Good place but..,

The check in process was great. The breakfast in the morning was superb, absolute perfection! It’s nice to have security on the premise at night. The air conditioning was strong and cold and the hot water was consistently hot on demand. WiFi was 50/50. A very lovely surprise when we arrived, was a message written on the bed in rose petals wishing me a happy birthday along with the fresh coconuts to drink. Communication was great and fairly quick within the correct timezone (we are from the US-15 hours) We had massages and yoga everyday at the villa. The prices of the massages are worth it for them coming to the villa. The hot stone massage we found to be cheaper in town, but again they are coming to your villa. We had four different massage people. Some are very good and others are just okay. The yoga was pricey but the instructor was great. There is construction next door but it doesn’t start until 8am and it goes until 4pm. The tours are pricey I must say. The owner was very accommodating on changing the plans last minute though. Overall, it was as expected and for my 3rd time in Ubud, it was pleasantly as expected.

Really nice villa close to the city center (+/- 2km). Just too far to walk. We found the price little bit high for what you get. Really nice staff super friendly. Swimming pool is fine but not for a whole day of relaxing. Warung titi is a good place to go for a good lunch. Beds are really comfortable.

We booked three days in Theos villa to escape from the busy center of Ubud and just relax. Unfornunately when we arrived there was waterproblems (no water in the villa), but Theo acted immediately and send people to the house to fix. But for us it took away the privacy all day and night and the following morning the problem wasnt solved yet, so until 3pm there were still a lot of people running outside and a couple of times inside the house. This was very unfortune, and we really missed the privacy we payed a lot of money for! Though, Theo handeled the situation very professional. The house has no outdoor walls except from the bedrooms, which took us a bit to close to nature animals (frogs, cats, ants, lizards and mosquitoes) for what we like. But for some, that might be fun. Otherwise, we enjoyed the last day completely alone which was very nice. The house is clean and very beautiful. Dedek, the guy who provided the house service was excellent! Very kind!

We enjoyed the surroundings and authenticity of the villa - beautiful setting and very clean Breakfast pancakes and nasi goreng for breakfast each morning was delicious. The outdoor bathrooms were beautiful and just a short Grab to get into the hustle and bustle of Ubud The pool was great - though a little cooler as it gets the morning sun. Nice and deep too The only small negative things to mention is the noise from the staff finishing up for the evening up to 9pm. Wasn’t an issue and didn’t keep the kids awake but could be if your trying to get younger children to sleep The villa would really benefit from re-screwing or re-nailing the floor boards in the bedrooms and around the pool area. A number stick up and I was worried the kids would hurt their feet on them.

Made and his team were very lovely and welcoming! Breakfast was delicious, served in the villa at a time of your choosing. Staff come by around 6:30/7am to tidy up and clean. The home was beautiful, set up with flowers for our arrival. Bedrooms are enclosed with AC, but all other rooms (incl. bathrooms) are outdoors. We enjoyed the experience, but apply your mosquito spray! Lots of geckos and frogs. Made arranged a local tour for us. Bo was our tour guide and he was wonderful! Highly recommend him! It was one of our favorite days on our trip. Where the villa lost a star for us: 1) Location: description/reviews seemed like it was walkable to town. But there’s no sidewalk and it’s a very busy road. If you have kids, you’ll want to order cars to get everywhere. 2) Repairs: the Villa itself could use some TLC. There were loose floorboards in the bedrooms and the pool chairs were unusable with ants all over. Ants were a problem in general, but not their fault. Thanks Made & Team!

If you like tropical foliage, this is the place for you! Surrounding the pool are a large variety of beautiful plants. As lovely as the first photo on the villa’s listing page is, the reality is even more gorgeous. We spent many happy hours in and around the pool, serenaded by song birds (and the occasional gecko). We could faintly hear music from the cafe next door, but it was soft, melodic, and added to the poolside atmosphere. And speaking of that cafe, we actually liked their almond chocolate croissant better than the ones we have in Paris! The location is great, and yes, the pumpkin ravioli at Warung Baliku is surprisingly good, inexpensive, and the warung is only a few minutes walk from the villa. Other good things too. Villa Nila is quite comfortable and very attractive, and the staff are all friendly and helpful . The only negative is that the floors in the bedrooms are coming loose, causing my wife to fall on the floor. But I told them, and I’m sure they’ll fix them.

The main positive things are that the place is beautiful, private and staff were kind, friendly and very helpful. I can't fault the onsite team for things out of their control. Some items should be included in the description: 1) The kitchen is not private. It is used for staff training and for other guest's breakfast anytime from 7am. This was disturbing and woke me up as it shares a wall with the main bedroom. Staff apologised when I went out and tried to be quieter afterwards. 2) No one is at the property after 3pm. There is no night guard as stated in the description. 3) The place is open - living room, bathroom. It's one thing we loved about this accommodation in the pictures, however, to feel safer when sleeping we felt the need to lock the bathroom and bedroom door as the rest is open and somewhat accessible. This may have just been as we were 2 women travelling and sleeping alone.

Mades place had a charm about it with cultural decor & good facilities. Made and the staff were always friendly & respectful. Breakfast was cooked every morning & they were happy to accomodate any requests. The pool was amazing & so refreshing. The place is situated with jungle walls, kind of living outside - can close doors to bedrooms & can lock front entrance. There is also a new bakery in front of the accomodation with drinks & croissants. Worth being driven into the centre as walk is longish. Made has available drivers, can also get a Grab.

Alles in Allem eine super Unterkunft. Das Personal ist hervorragend und tut alles dafür dass einem jeder Wunsch zeitnah erfüllt wird. Made hat mir immer und jederzeit geantwortet und bei Fragen weitergeholfen. Lediglich durch die Baustelle nebenan kam es vereinzelt zu stärkerem Lärm was etwas gestört hat. Diese sollte allerdings auch bald fertiggestellt werden.

Prachtig huis met fijn zwembad. Het is heerlijk om in zo’n huis rustig wakker te worden; behalve de slaapkamers is alles ‘buiten’. Comfort was goed. Verzorgd ontbijt met veel vers fruit. Iedere dag werden de bedden verschoond, de handdoeken vervangen en werd er schoongemaakt. Je zag dagelijks minimaal 4 personen in en rondom het huis die heel stil hun ding deden. De ligging is op ongeveer 20 minuten loopafstand tot de hoofdweg. Er is geen stoep en het verkeer raast langs je heen. Om bij de villa te komen loop je eerst over een ongelijk, niet geasfalteerd of bestraat pad. In Ubud kun je niet goed zonder taxi je verplaatsen.

The buildings and amenities were lovely and the host and staff were very accommodating. Made was very easy to communicate with and he helped organize transportation for all our daily adventures. I chose the listing because I wanted to be in a beautiful home surrounded by lush plants and was not disappointed. The landscaping and plantings were superb. Part of our group was working from the villa during the day and unfortunately the neighbors were drilling and sawing concrete from 8am to 5pm. The noise was so loud we even had trouble hearing our host give us the walkthrough when we arrived. We were not able to enjoy the villa during the day. I recommend waiting a month before staying here (if you plan to relax or work during the day — or check with the host) as there is still quite a bit of construction left. Even though it was outside their control, Made and the staff did everything they could to make our trip as smooth as possible and we are grateful. I would certainly be thrilled to stay here again in the future.

This is a very stylish house hidden away almost in the jungle about half a mile above Ubud off the road to Tirta Tewar. It is surrounded by either jungle or padi fields and would feel a bit isolated were it not for the (sweet, quiet) staff who live in a building 30 feet away. The rear opens into the jungle and the pool is very magical although very much in the shadow of the trees and doesn’t get much sunlight unfortunately. Security potentially an issue as the rear of the house doesn’t technically have walls but it is a peaceful place and therefore we did not worry about this too much. Fitted out beautifully by very tasteful Belgian owner. Good aircon in bedrooms . Bedrooms well sound-proofed from road noise (the ubiquitous beeping scooters) and we slept well. Linen and beds all v high quality. Staff make tasty breakfast daily and laundry and cleaning provided also. The only drawback is transport to and from Ubud. This is a bit of a headache and after 5 days became rather tedious. The problem is that the walk to/fro is on a busy road with no pavement. It is also rather narrow. Definitely not recommended in the dark and especially not with children under about 6. This leaves taxis which can be got using ride hailing apps but which can take a long time to find/arrive. On the way back most of Ubud prevents ride hailing services due to local taxi mafia so you have to haggle with the taxi drivers who always ask for £6 for what is less than a 5 minute ride. Doesn’t sound much but it adds up. If you are persistent and polite you can haggle it down to more like £4 but the whole process is pretty tedious. It is a shame there is no taxi rank in town. This is not the owner’s fault obviously but you need to be able to get around as the villa is isolated and it adds a layer of complication. Around the villa are a couple of warungs, one about 50m up the road, which was chilled and cheap with tasty food and a v smiley owner. Children liked it. Hosting done by Made who we never met but was efficient and sent us some (quite expensive but good) massage ladies and organised transfers to and from the villa and also some baby sitting on the one night we went out. Talking of which, foodies must must must must go to Mozaic which is off the scale price wise (expect to pay about $400-500 for dinner for 2) but is worth the trip to Ubud on its own. Quite an incredible dinner/experience in a beautiful outside terrace with a tasting menu and unbelievable service and wine pairings. 20 minutes from the villa. They send you back home in one of the “mafia” taxis for £10 which is absurd but you are so jolly after dinner that you don’t even care! If you do splurge one night and don’t want to make a habit of it then worth being aware that Grab has an Eat app and we managed to get take out pizza delivered a few times despite the location. They come to the end of the path and you walk out and get the food and pay the scooter rider. Overall it was a beautiful and unique house full of local furniture and fittings all of a very high standard, just a bit off piste so you need to get your act together logistically a bit in order for daily life to work smoothly. Would not go back but would definitely recommend for the slightly more adventurous crowd who appreciate beautiful design/bohemian/off piste villas. Could be tricky/a pain with infants/toddlers but ours 6 and 10) found it all very exciting

Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen. Staff sehr diskret und nett. Der Fahrer war hervorragend und sehr freundlich. Das Haus im balinesischen Style, sehr hübsch, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber völlig Ok. Die Liegestühle am Pool und der Terrasse sind verfault und die Auflagen eklig, Schade das war das einzige was bemängelt werden kann. Die Holzböden in den Schlafzimmern und am Pool bräuchten eine Überarbeitung. Sehr zentral und ruhig gelegen nach rund 10 Minuten zu Fuß geht das quirlige Leben von Ubut Stadt mit vielen Shops , Restaurants und was es alles braucht los.

Nice Villa in the Jungle, but still in walking distance to the centre of Ubud. Made was very helpful with planning our tours. He always answered our requests immediatly.

Belle maison typiquement balinaise, ouverte sur la nature luxuriante et dont la terrasse donne sur une belle piscine..Le personnel de maison, préparant le petit déjeuner et réalisant le ménage est discret, très sympathique, efficace et disponible.. Maison proche du centre de Ubud...A découvrir pour les amoureux de nature.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Villa Nila. The house itself is lovely with beautiful decor and a lot of personal touches in the decor. The beds are very comfortable and the people who cleaned/cooked every day were friendly. Some improvements could be made to the property, including the uneven deck by the pool and landscaping in the lower part of the garden. The plumbing isn't great as there is a bit of smell in the bathrooms, but this seemed to be a problem throughout Bali. We liked the seclusion from the city as Ubud is overrun with tourists. We were here thirteen years ago and the city has changed tremendously. Because of that we found the location outside the madness of traffic quite lovely. Unfortunately, we did have a hiccup with our pick up from the airport which left a bad taste in my mouth. Our driver was almost 40 mins late picking us up due to traffic, which was actually quite awful as there is no A/C in the arrivals terminal and we were subject to constant harassment from taxi drivers. I was with my three year old son, so I would have found alternative transportation immediately, however, the host insisted the driver was physically at the airport (which he was not). We were not charged for the transport, but the experience was not how I wanted our trip to start. Because Bali is a bit difficult to navigate without some local help, the communication is important, and this was the only thing about this property I found frustrating.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful, just as showed on the photos. The staff is very nice and prepared fruit platters for us every morning. The pool space is amazing, so relaxing. Just need to figure out what is wrong with the master bathroom to eliminate the bad smell that would show up in parts of the day.

It's a lovely house, with a wonderful setting. Located a 10/15 minute walk from town, it's nice and secluded. The pool is great (refreshing but not too cold), and the variety of places to relax around the house is welcome. When we visited the bottom level of the garden, with the statue, was blocked off, and the wooden seating area in the photos was gone. It's still a stunning setting for a pool. A well compiled list of places to eat/visit/shop formed part of a useful guide for guests - including various restaurants which will deliver to the house, if you don't feel like venturing out at night (the road is not lit, and there are no pavements, so be careful of traffic when walking after dark). We were travelling with a baby, so the house having a cot was a big plus. Those with more mobile toddlers might not find the house suitable - there are lots of steps and steep drops. There is no high-chair, so plan accordingly. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, with high quality bedding. They do lack adequate storage space, however, so you might find yourself living out of a suitcase. The bathrooms are completely outdoors, but with the warm climate it's not an issue. One has a bath and shower, the other just a shower. The toilet of one is very close to the kitchen, so the staff can enjoy your sounds whilst you hear them make your breakfast! We encountered a couple of issues, including a leaking air-con unit and a power cut, but Theo was easily contactable and resolved them quickly. If you're not looking to be in the heart of the action then it's a great choice - a lovely house with a cracking pool. And being out of the centre means it's lovely and quiet.

Theo and Jonathan's villa is beautiful and in a lovely location, a short stroll from the main street of Ubud. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

We were the honeymooners and the villa itself is very secluded and breathtaking which i thought it was perfect for us. The location is close but far enough to the CBD where you can still enjoy the tranquility. The private pool is also clean and has an exotic jungle view. Jo also helped us getting the scooters and very attentive. Unfortunately, we faced water and power outage problems for the first and the third nights but Jo and Theo quickly suggested the solutions and fixed the issues for us. They are reliable hosts.

Amazing home, beautifully designed and located right near Ubud centre. It's jungle setting is beautiful but not suitable for people that aren't happy to live around jungle critters.

Ein absoluter TRAUM! Das gesamte Personal war von Anfang an super herzlich und hat und mit einer frischen Kokosnuss empfangen. Sie haben uns alle Wünsche erfüllt, Motorbikes organisiert etc. Das Frühstück stellen sie jeden Morgen auf den Tisch und räumen es auch wieder weg. Es ist das beste Frühstück, dass wir in Ubud hatten! Die Villa selbst ist sauber, jeden Tag wird gereinigt, der Pool riesig und alles hat Charme - man fühlt sich wie im Dschungel, abseits und hat seine Ruhe, trotzdem ist man sehr nah am Zentrum. Das Café nebenan ist auch toll! Wir haben uns immer sicher gefühlt. Es gibt auch einen Trinkwasserspender, Moskitospray und Moskitonetze. Klar sieht man ab und zu ein paar Insekten, aber alles ist im Rahmen. Wir können die Villa Nila uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Danke für alles, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ✨

Вилла полностью соответствует фото, но она намного больше в реальности! Она огромная! При этом очень красивая и удобная. Вечерняя подсветка - это фантастика. Хозяин позаботился даже о свечах, что встречается нечасто, но очень украшает вечера. Бассейн тоже очень большой с удобным заходом и хорошей глубиной. Вид на джунгли из бассейна шикарный! Еще хочется отметить большое количество полотенец и для бассейна и для ванной, все менялось ежедневно. Замечательный деликатный персонал сделал наш отдых отличным, большое всем им спасибо.

La villa es espectacular, acogedora y con mucho gusto, igual que en las fotos. Cuatro noches sin una sola pega, con Made y su equipo cuidándonos desde el primer minuto. Con él contratamos el traslado del aeropuerto y la excursión a Sekumpul, siempre esperándonos antes de la hora: salimos a las 5:45 y llegamos los primeros a la cascada, la disfrutamos solos. También nos alquiló dos motos y así exprimimos Ubud y los arrozales por nuestra cuenta. Desayunos muy buenos, la lavandería nos lo devolvió todo limpio antes de lo previsto y los masajes que nos recomendó nos gustaron tanto que repetimos al día siguiente. Dos apuntes: la piscina se queda en sombra a partir del mediodía, aunque en las tumbonas sigue dando el sol, y el agua está un poco fresca. Lo de alguna tabla suelta que leí en otras reseñas, ningún problema, normal en un suelo de madera. Totalmente recomendable, si volvemos a Ubud repetimos.

Really beautifully set up villa about 20-25mins walk from the centre of Ubud. The bedrooms are comfortable and the common areas are lovely to relax in. Especially the pool. It’s a calm place to return to after the chaos of ubud centre and has easy access north to visit some of the sights. The cafe next door is also amazing!

We had a lovely time staying at the villa The people working at the villa were very friendly and the villa was kept very clean during our stay. We also enjoyed our breakfast and felt very relaxed and comfortable

We hebben het met ons gezin heel fijn gehad in deze villa. De ruimte is waanzinnig, prachtig ingericht met authentieke details. Het zwembad met uitzicht op de jungle is sprookjesachtig. Made communiceert heel goed, op elke vraag werd snel gereageerd. Ook toen onze dochter naar de dokter moesten voor een oorontsteking. Wayan, onze chauffeur, heeft ons hart gestolen. Reed netjes en goed en bracht ons op leuke plekken. Ook de service in de villa, de massages, het ontbijt, privé chef en de dagelijkse schoonmaakservice, gaven ons het gevoel dat we enorm in de watten werden gelegd. Het enige minpuntje vonden wij het harde zoemende geluid dat van het naastgelegen café kwam. Viel niet veel aan te doen natuurlijk, maar is wel typisch voor hoe Ubud nu geworden is. Heel druk en vol. Vergelijken met mijn laatste bezoek aan Ubud in 2008 is het nu onherkenbaar. Ik zou persoonlijk Ubud overslaan als je op zoek bent naar rust, maar als je er toch moet zijn: dan zeker hier bij Villa Nila!

Et helt fantastisk sted. Vi havde 5 dejlige dage i huset. Nemt til byen på gåben, og hvis ikke man vil gå de ca. 1200 m. så er der altid en Grab taxa indenfor 2-4min. Morgenmaden var den bedste vi fik serveret på hele turen. Vi bestilte dagen før og aftalte tid. De kom om morgenen og dækkede bord og anrettedemaden, vaskede op efterfølgende. Det var SÅ hyggeligt, og de var imødekommende så det var hyggeligt at svar der imens vi selv var. Nogen beskriver hytten som lidt slidt, men vi så det som en del af charmen. Tøv ikke med at booke. 🥰 I øvrigt var de hjælpsomme da vores datter blev syg. De kom med det samme og hjalp med en kørsel til en læge, hjalp med oversættelse mm. Vi var så taknemlige.

We had a wonderful week here in a little oasis within walking distance to bustling Ubud centre. The host was very helpful and responsive. The pool area was especially lovely. Very clean and staff attentive. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. It was exactly as described—peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a tranquil environment. The host and staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and professional throughout our stay. Everything was well organized and always on time, with no missed requests or service issues at all. The breakfast was also very satisfying and exceeded our expectations. The villa was clean and well maintained. Since it is located in the middle of nature, it is normal to encounter some insects, but this is part of the authentic experience and did not affect our enjoyment. In fact, it made the stay feel even more unique and memorable. One thing to note is that the access road to the villa is quite narrow, so a smaller car is recommended. Overall, we were completely happy with our stay at Villa Nila and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful nature retreat.

Fabulous villa set in beautiful greenery. Away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud which creates relaxation and peace, but only a 5 min walk to shops and restaurants. The staff were so helpful and the breakfasts were delicious! Swimming in the pool surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers was a highlight! Would definitely return.

In de directe omgeving van het appartement is veel te doen. Zeker op de scooters zijn verschillende plekken binnen een half uur te bereiken waardoor je makkelijk zelf je tripjes kunt organiseren. We loved our stay at Made’s. The villa is immaculate and with beautiful surroundings. Our kids enjoyed the pool after a day of sight seeing. The breakfast was amazing and very thankful they could accommodate the coeliacs in our family with GF meals. Made was fantastic to communicate with, helped with a pick up from Uluwatu and organising a private tailored half day tour for us. We would highly recommend villa Nila and would love to come back!

A beautiful and spacious open-plan style villa set within its own large and peaceful grounds. A real oasis of calm despite being only a short (less than 10 min walk) to the centre of Obud. The villa is built to a very high spec in the traditional style: wooden framed, with lovely high ceilings and the living area opening out onto the large gardens and big pool. Two large double bedrooms with own indoor/outdoor en-suites. The staff were all lovely and prepared us our choice of tasty breakfasts. They were always super-helpful. There is a nice newish contemporary-style restaurant next door (good for brunch and dinner). We have visited Bali twice and stayed in five different Airbnbs; they've all been great - but this was one of the best! Highly recommend.

Absolute magical spot at Villa Nila with Made being responsive, friendly and helpful. Very helpful and friendly staff too. Some of the decking requires maintenance but it didn't affect our enjoyment of this beautiful place. Would stay here again for sure.

Vielen Dank, dass wir in dieser wundervollen Villa wohnen durften. Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Die Angestellten waren traumhaft und der Manager Ari war jederzeit für uns erreichbar und hat uns unterstützt. Das Haus ist offen und im balinesischen Stil gehalten, was wir sehr mögen. Der Dschungel mit seinen Geräuschen und Tieren ist direkt vor der Tür. Sogar 2 Glühwürmchen haben wir gesehen. Das leckere Frühstück wurde zu unserer Wunschzeit serviert und auch sonst hat man sehr viel Rücksicht auf uns Langschläfer genommen. Zu Fuß kann man ein paar Warungs und einen kleinen Supermarkt erreichen. Die Straße ist mit Kindern etwas abendteuerlich. Deshalb haben wir uns total unkompliziert ein Grab bestellt, wenn wir nach Ubud wollten und waren nach 5 Minuten dort. Der Pool ist einfach toll und ab der Mittagszeit fast komplett im Schatten, so dass die Kinder ihn voll nutzen konnten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

We had the most amazing stay!! From the welcome crew, to the immaculate home, wonderful private pool, delicious home cooked meals served exactly when they said they would, laundry service and Arya, our private driver, who we still miss today because he was absolutely the best!!!! We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to have a wonderful stay in Ubud!!!!!

Wonderful place to spend a week - exactly what I was looking for! Private traditional Balinese villa (all open air with the exception of air conditioned bedrooms) with a pool. The staff were friendly and attentive and we enjoyed our daily cooked breakfast. Location is close enough to the action in ubud (walk or quick Grab/Ojek ride) with a nice cafe right next door, but felt like middle of the jungle while relaxing at home. Great value in my opinion.

Ok, just wow!!! This villa is simply sensational! Honestly the most perfect place. Close to everything you would need in Ubud and just gorgeous! Pool and surrounds are perfect, rooms/bathrooms and beautiful. Massive kitchen and dining/chill area. Made is just THE best host!! He is so lovely, super responsive (like within minutes for everything!). He organised everything we needed from transport, fantastic recommendations to secluded waterfalls, awesome dinner suggestions, arranged our massages, transfers - everything!! Such a legend! The breakfasts were amazing and all other staff were absolutely lovely!! Cannot recommend enough. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 11yr &15yr). Would not book anywhere else. Thank you so much Made, you made our stay simple amazing and we will never forget it!! 🫶🏽☺️

This place was perfect! Super peaceful setting, beautiful gardens and pool. It is very close to town, so an easy walk to all of the action in Ubud. This place felt like an oasis from the high energy of the town center. Our family had a great time, and we would stay here again for sure. Made was great. He helped us arrange several day trips from Ubud, and helped us learn about the Baliese culture. Driver Mo was also excellent. He was a great guide and fun person to hang out with. The place is great by itself, but Made and his team made our trip outstanding.

The villa and swilling pool are amazingly beautiful. It took us only 10-15 mins walking distance till the Center of the Ubud while the area near the villa was quiet and allowed to enjoy the nature. As well, the service and breakfast were wonderful, thank you for making it every day for us. The only point that the villa is not a brand new, you can see it in small details while it didn’t affect the stay in any way.

Our stay at Villa Nila was fantastic. It is a little jungle oasis walking distance from central Ubud. The villa is beautifully arranged. Breakfast was perfect. Made and his team were so accommodating and friendly. A perfect spot if you want to stay in Ubud. Hope we can come back soon.

It was extremely cozy. Villa Nila is totally separated from centre so we can fully focus on our time. Staffs are also really kind.

This villa is an absolutely magical place to stay. The space, rooms, furnishings and pool are understated luxury, and as good as they look in the photos. It's completely private and secluded in the jungle, but there are support staff and restaurants nearby so it doesn't feel isolated. 15 minutes' walk down the hill takes you to the main tourist centre of Ubud. The breakfasts were excellent, and Made and his team are helpful in organising transportation and activities.

The accomodation really was beautiful. It looks even better than the photos! You could sit all day in any of the comfy areas looking at the amazing jungle vegetation and tasteful decor. The breakfast was delicious and the place was kept immaculately clean by a team who turned up early each morning. It was a little far out to walk into the centre with young children but wouldnt be if it had just been us. Taxis are extremely quick to arrrive so wasnt a problem. By staying 25 mins out the centre we didnt hear any road or construction noise and could enjoy the wonderful sounds of nature instead. I would recommend to anyone wanting a luxurious villla in Ubud

What a wonderful 5 days at this villa, once we got there we felt at home and comfortable. The pool was something else and our two young boys loved swimming multiple times a day. Having the restaurant next door was great also if we couldn't be bothered going anywhere for dinner or just wanted a quick coffee.

This was such a haven. Our children loved the outdoor nature of the home and truly relaxed in the great tropical outdoors. The pool was simply magic. Air conditioned bedrooms and lovely bathrooms were a delight also. The staff were super helpful and absolutely wonderful in every way. We loved it.

Amazing stay with our 3 young kids in this spacious and beautifully designed villa in short walking distance of Ubud town. We loved the breakfasts, in-house massages, rainforest pool, and cafe next door. Made was super helpful and responsive. Brilliant experience.

The Villa Nila is a superb nest next to the center of Ubud accessible whither a 10 min walk. The setting is very comfy and you feel at home easily. Lazying in the Fatboy style sofa or next to the pool is a perfect ending every day after visiting. Every morning, we had a tasteful breakfast including eggs or pancakes or mie goreng and a fruit basket or smoothies for supplement. Cleaned every day, all was perfect for a week stay. We would love to come back.

We are a family of four travelling around indonesia for 4 weeks and this was our second stop. The place was absolutely beautiful even though it was a bit older looking than we expected. The breakfast was lovely and fresh. We also booked the perfect massage. My kids lived in the comfy kimonos in the rooms. Although the space feels quiet, you can hear the people working with low music from the cafe next door. The cafe serves really lovely food in the nicest surroundings. And we picked up yummy evening cocktails. We would love to visit again😍

My wife and I had a lovely stay here with our two kids (7 and 9). The house is a lush, quiet place to recover from the bustle of ubud. It is right next to a fantastic cafe that is open all day (one of the best cafes that we found in town). We also appreciated the fact that the place is a 10/15 min walk from downtown. This means you don’t have to spend as much time struggling with the insane Bali traffic.

A truly magical Bali experience from start to finish. The joglo invites you to spend time in the jungle surrounds and we were reluctant to leave the villa some days. We took advantage of the in house massages which were exceptional. The housekeeping staff were so friendly and polite and Made was extremely responsive to any requests or questions. There is a cafe nearby and a 15min walk into the centre…albeit sharing with cars and scooters! All part of the experience! I will run out of superlatives for our stay.

We came to stay here as a family of four. The pictures really don't do this placs justice! It's stunning! One of the highlights of staying here was the beautiful breakfast we recieved every morning, the lovely ladies would set the table and put out breakfast at our requested time. The pancakes were the best we've ever had and the coffee was so good. You can tell that a lot of effort is put into making this. The staff worked so hard ensuring the villa was thoroughly cleaned every day. And an additional bonus was that they provided a laundry service for a very small fee. The pool is absolutely huge, the children loved it. My son also loved looking out for all the little frogs hopping around. Another highlight for me was falling asleep to the jungle sounds. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so lovely 🙏 every single member of staff was so welcoming and friendly

Perfection. The beautiful villa and pool are surrounded by old growth jungle and rice terraces. Even better than the photos. Made and his team (Dedek, Komang, Putu, Wahyu) and the cooks (Ayum, Rahyu) went above and beyond to make our stay special. Very warm and welcoming with a personal touch you don't get in big 5 star resorts. They thought of everything we might need or want before we did but never intruded on our peace and quiet when we just wanted to relax. The villa is a serene tropical oasis and a good base to explore Ubud, Sideman or Kintamani etc. We absolutely would stay here again and recommend to our family and friends. On our last morning we were blessed with a flyover of a huge aquamarine Javan kingfisher so the karma must be good :) Matur Suksma

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Nila. The location was great - tucked away in a quiet sanctuary but also close to town too. The host was responsive and helpful which made everything very smooth.

Made’s villa was a beautiful jungle escape! You really feel like you’re in the jungle. So many different spaces to lounge and spend your time in. This villa is just great - when getting to the villa you feel like being in the middle of the jungle! There are several cozy chill out areas outside as well as a great & big pool, so you can easily spend all day at the villa. There is a cafe next to the villa, so if you want to grab a quick coffee or cake, that’s easy to do so :)

Absolutely blown away by our stay at this Airbnb! The villa was spotless, the air conditioning was a dream, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Every detail was taken care of. From booking incredible tours to relaxing in-home massages and scooter rentals, everything was seamless and perfect! This experience left us with unforgettable memories. Can’t wait for our next visit—already counting the days! If you do decide to go, we highly recommend an Ubud tour with Dek Mo and the Ayung River rafting.

This place was simply magical from start to finish. All communications were super responsive and easy, they even helped me arrange a special room to give my girlfriend an amazing birthday. The whole vila is immersed with the local jungle so we could hear the birds and the bugs which was so cool. All the staff helped in everyday they could and I couldn't recommend this place enough. If there was a 6 star option I'd give it. If you come to ubud and want a true jungle experience with all the home comforts then book here. ITS A MUST! This villa is spectacular! The photos and description are amazing, but even better in real life. We travelled as a family of 4 and this villa was huge, more space than we could use! You know it's a winner when children don't even turn on the tv and would rather lounge around on the beanbags and enjoy the jungle surrounds! Made was an incredible host and his staff were fantastic. They provided us a delicious daily breakfast and assisted us with suggestions on things to do during our stay in Ubud. Nothing was too much trouble. Made even arranged a driver to collect us from Seminyak, making our arrival at villa very comfortable. There is a beautiful cafe located at front of villa, serving amazing meals. Location is easy walking distance to the main street for shopping and dining. On wet days, transport was easy to get to and from villa as required. There is a laundry close by also. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to visit again.

Balinese joglo style but with all modern amenities. Very clean, very comfortable. Made was the ultimate host, and his staff were super friendly and did an amazing job taking care of everything for us. Breakfast made to order brought to the villa each day was very special, and delicious. An easy 15 minute walk to Ubud Centre.

This was my second time staying at Villa Nilla, and just like my first time, it was another unforgettable week. Even on rainy days just sitting undercover with a book is beautiful because of how amazing this home, the land, and the views. Truly one of a kind in Ubud.

The perfect villa for a girls' trip. The villa is beautiful, the beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. We got a full briefing on arrival including instructions on how to order breakfast - we ordered everything on the menu. There's also a fantastic coffee/ pastry shop next door. Made was extremely helpful in organising a driver for us and massages in the villa (the best I've had). Hopefully we will be back one day!

Lovely Balinese home with pool. Caretakers took great care of us and brought breakfast in daily. Recommend highly for a peaceful stay. Interesting way of living open aired. Bedrooms had air conditioning and fans in main living area. Fun watching TV late at night with no walls around you. They have it lit up so nicely at night with multiple lanterns - very zen and romantic.

Wow! This is the most beautiful Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The hosts were thoughtful, pool was spectacular and location was great- secluded but close to the center.

We had a fantastic stay in this mini oasis. The outdoor living room was amazing, and we loved the view towards the pool and being surrounded by all the nature around us. The pool was wonderful, and the breakfast—especially the banana pancakes and mie goreng—was delicious. It was also great being so close to the main center of Ubud, with lots to do in the area like spas, waterfalls, temples, and restaurants. Komang was a huge help and made us feel welcome from the start. The only downside was the wifi, which only worked in the living room. Overall, it was an incredible experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Nilla. In fact, the Villa is so nice we wound up spending more time just relaxing there than we initially expected. The Villa is spacious, well appointed and designed in a very authentic Balinese way. The surrounding jungle is lush and filled with the sounds of birds and geckos. Breakfast every morning is delicious. The pool is clean and refreshing. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. The cafe next door has great food, and it's only a short trip into town. We had a lovely stay at Villa Nila. It’s beautiful property, surrounded by gorgeous tropical jungle. It’s a 15-20 minute walk (25 mins to Ubud palace) from central Ubud which means it’s very peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle. We used Grab taxis to get in and out of central Ubud for dinner each night which were cheap and easy to access. The villa is next to a cafe (Reina Jungla) which serves lovely food. There’s occasional music from the cafe, but this was relaxing and not intrusive at all. Made and his team took excellent care of us-delicious breakfasts prepared each morning, villa kept spotlessly clean each day and helped us to arrange day trips out. We arranged for in villa massages one day which were incredible and very reasonably priced. We highly recommend a stay at Villa Nila!

Mades house was an absolute highlight of our trip. The staff were exceptional and so friendly. The house looks like the pictures and the pool is stunning. We had planned to go out exploring Ubud but the house was so beautiful and relaxing we chose to stay in and laze by the pool with the kids. Made was so helpful via message and arranged in house massages for us and the kids. Do yourself a favour and book the massage it was one of the best I have ever had! Brekky was yummy and served daily. Also the bedrooms are fully enclosed (which I couldn’t see in the picture or previous reviews so I was a bit worried about this) there is glass at the top where the beams are to enclose the rooms and aircon in both. There is a cafe at the front which has some yummy pastries and coffee/juice which was handy. We would definitely recommend Mades place and hope to come back in the future.

This peaceful villa is a gem - private, relaxing and beautiful. An easy walk to the activity in Ubud, though we often hired a taxi (50k rupiah) to return home after a long day of exploring. One evening my kids were too tired to trek to town for dinner and we were delighted at how delicious the food was at the restaurant just next door! The friendly staff served us a delicious breakfast each day and organized massages for us. When we checked out, we left behind swimsuits and they immediately messaged us to let us know. My kids loved the private pool. (If you have younger children, be aware the bedrooms are not connected and each have their own key to lock). This villa is great value, and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic villa. Tropical oasis in the jungle. Super friendly hosts who arranged transport and driver for day trips around Ubud. Great cafe right next door. Walking distance to town (although footpaths non-existent like much of Bali!) We had an amazing stay with our 2 teenage children.

We stayed for five nights at Villa Nila with our teen/20s daughters, before moving onto Nusa Dua. We're from the UK, and had never been to Indonesia before, so we weren't quite sure what to expect. The villa looked beautiful from the pictures (and it is in real life too) but we were curious about the practicalities of a house that is, apart from the bedrooms, open to the elements and all the bugs that might want to come and go! It turns out, it works just fine! The bugs were hardly to be seen, and completely absent from the bedrooms. The place is a jungle paradise. It was truly so beautiful and good for the soul to be amid it all, not hermetically sealed from it. It was also surprisingly cool in the mornings and evenings. Perfect for moments of tranquility. We were fantastically and graciously looked after by the team. It takes a lot of work to keep the jungle looking so good! Go there - you'll love it.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dieser traumhaften Villa genossen. Made und seine Crew hat sehr gut zu uns geschaut und wir, Eltern und zwei Kinder, waren rundum zufrieden. Gleich nebenan hatte es ein Café, welches kleine Snacks angeboten hat und auf das wir jederzeit zurückgreifen konnten. Das Frühstück war köstlich, die Villa war sauber und in 15 Minuten gelangt man zum Zentrum von Ubud. Wir können die Villa nur weiterempfehlen und haben unsere Zeit, fast 14 Tage, sehr genossen.

We had an amazing experience at Made’s place. The view was unreal and it was a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ended up booking a private chef for dinner one night and the food was delicious. Breakfast was also included and the food was also amazing!

Made and staff were so lovely and polite. They provide complementary breakfast every morning and the villa was cleaned daily without interruption. Made was able to arrange in house massages and drivers for day trips around Ubud. The location is close enough to the Main Street and far enough away to feel like you’re in the jungle. Located behind a funky cafe that we visited daily.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mades villa: Beautiful, traditional Balinese design and furnishings, spotlessly clean, lush greenery surrounding the tranquil pool area…great outdoor living area, especially the beanbag chairs on the floor, very relaxing. The staff were all incredible - serving delicious complimentary breakfast every morning, and cleaning up throughout the day. Highly recommend staying at this villa if you’re visiting Ubud! Such a beautiful retreat, we loved the outdoor living and felt like was in the trees, the almost freshwater pool was so refreshing and kids had a wonderful time. Close enough to centre but felt like a million miles from anywhere while there. Breakfast was delicious and great start to our day. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Made and his team are exceptional hosts. The villa was well maintained, very clean and tidy and the staff were extremely respectful of our privacy. They were helpful and kind. The villa is spacious and really makes you feel like you are in the jungle. Access to the villa is easy down a well maintained pathway behind Reina Jungla, the Cafe out front, that serves great coffee and yummy pastries. The setting for the villas swimming pool is amazing and the pool itself is lovely to swim in. The location of the villa is awesome as it's only a 10 - 15 min (flat) walk to Ubud's main street. We only had 3 nights at Villa Nila so were very sad to leave. But we hope to be back again soon and would not hesitate to recommend this property to any of our family and friends. Thank you Made and Villa Nila's staff for making our stay in Ubud the best!

We had an incredible time during our stay in Ubud! The hospitality was exceptional - everyone was incredibly friendly and responsive to our needs. The home was clean, and the pool was an absolute highlight. Additionally, having breakfast served every day was a wonderful touch that made our mornings even more enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

A few words cannot possibly sum up such a gorgeous villa. It is, as other reviewers have said, even better than the photos. Villa Nila is quiet, beautiful, private and so tasteful. The gardens , pool and outside living area are lovely to spend time relaxing. The staff could not be more helpful and take a real pride in the villa. Reina Jungla , the cafe next door is great for a snack. Thank you so much for an outstanding two week stay. It is not often that we are so sad to leave a place and we will definitely book again when we come back to Bali.

This was a little piece of heaven. The infinity pool was extraordinary. Felt like we were in the middle of the jungle. The open living space is perfect for enjoying a chill day at the villa. We did not want to leave. The villa is a quick 15 min walk to shopping and restaurants. The staff cleaned up and cooked us breakfast every morning. They were all very friendly and gave us plenty of privacy. Made was very attentive, responding almost instantly to all inquiries. I would love to come back here one day.

Vi havde virkelig nogle skønne dage hos Vila Nila. Vi følte os hjemme og nød den dejlige service at få tilberedt morgenmad i villa’en. Vi afsluttede vores ophold med flydende morgenmad som var en stor oplevelse. Made var altid hurtig til at svare når man skrev til ham og alt kunne stort set lade sig gøre. Hvis vi kommer til Bali igen vil vi helt sikkert vende til age.

Wir haben mit unserer Tochter (2.5) eine Woche in der Villa Nila verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Villa überzeugt durch eins sehr schönes Ambiente. Die Umgebung ist auf den verschiedenen Ebenen mit dem üppigen Garten sehr schön gestaltet. Der Pool ist wunderbar zum Abkühlen und durch die Lage auf einer tieferen Ebene des Grundstückes auch mit einem Kleinkind recht sicher. Die Betreuung durch Made war super. Er war jederzeit erreichbar und ist sehr auf all unsere Anliegen eingegangen. Das Hauskeeping war schnell und unaufdringlich. Die Mahlzeiten haben wir durch die Köchinnen in der Villa zubereiten lassen und haben immer sehr gut gegessen. Einzige Abstriche sind einige Einrichtungen, die schon deutliche Abnutzung und teilweise leichte Defekte zeigen. Renovationsarbeiten seien jedoch geplant. Ein weiterer Pluspunt wäre, wenn die Schlussrechnung mit Kreditkarte beglichen werden könnte.

Our family with young kids had an amazing stay at Villa Nila. The location was fantastic - just a short drive in a Grab to the town - walkable without kids, and close to a great bakery / restaurant. The highlights for us were the open jungle space, breakfast prepared for us, large pool and fantastic service. Although open to nature, we were able to sit outside comfortably at any time without worrying about bugs. We would happily stay there again.

We had a wonderful 2 day stay at this Villa, struggled a bit to find the villa as it's tucked behind a coffee shop,but the staff was very helpful and responsive in helping with our luggage! The fresh breakfast early morning was great and so was the pool area!

The photos do not do this place justice. Very large and spacious. The staff is great and we organized massages/day tours/laundry/ and even a cake for my son’s birthday. The hospitality was 10/10.

Villa Nila is even better than the pictures & descriptions. As soon as we walked in the door we felt relaxed & very welcomed to the villa by Made Ketut’s team, including the very nice & helpful Dedek. They go above & beyond to make sure your stay is a pleasure. It’s such a special place with a beautiful jungle outlook by the pool. It’s an easy 10 min walk into the centre of Ubud with plenty of taxi options close by. We loved the cafe next door for poolside days when we didn’t want to venture far. We look forward to bringing friends back to Villa Nila one day. Thank you so much for having us!

We had a lovely 5 nights at Villa Nila. Served our needs very well. Services and staff were first class, polite, obliging and prompt. We needed to call Made a few times to check and clarify things, always helpful in response. The floorboards in bedrooms and the decking timbers around the pool are in need of attention in some places, otherwise location and environment is idyllic.

Was the best house I been in all my life, big swimming pool inside the jungle, the beds are very big, the staff is amazing, very nice guys, helping and smiling every time, working hard all day and making every morning a very special and big breakfast. Location is good, private but also have a nice coffee shop beside and have nice restaurants short distance and 15 minutes walking to the market. The house looks better than the pictures.

This place is absolutely beautiful. It’s way bigger in person than it looks online, especially the pool. We loved staying here. It took a little time for us “city people” to adjust to the mostly outdoor jungle living and all the animals and bugs that come with it - but that’s part of the experience! Made was so responsive and made our stay incredible. The breakfast prepared in the morning was delicious. The portions were very big so we felt bad that we couldn’t always finish it but would rather have too much than not enough. Would definitely stay again. Great place!!

Made Ketut and his team made our holiday truely memorable. The delicious breakfasts and fresh juices each morning were a superb way to start the day. Made arranged taxis when we needed them and arranged for our laundry done. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed at Villa Nila just before Covid and experienced the same wonderful service. We absolutely LOVED this beautiful property. It was everything we wanted and needed. The surroundings are gorgeous and have never felt so relaxed so quickly in my life. The pool is AMAZING! I could not fault anything or want anything different. Loved it all and only wished we could stay for longer. The breakfast that the team cooked was delicious and filled us up! Made was very helpful in organising transport from the airport, booking the most amazing massages (that came to the villa) and a guide to show us around. We had a fabulous time at Villa Nila. the photos honestly don't do it justice, it is such a stunning place. only 15 mins walk to the bustling central Ubud, but feels like a quiet and serene oasis. the villa was the perfect set up for our family, a couple with two young children. the pool was so beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery. the staff were all so kind and helpful, the breakfast they cooked for us every day was delicious. Made was very helpful with organising drivers for pick up and departure, and for a half day tour of the rice fields and temples. the cafe next door had delicious lunch. it really was the perfect stay!

The Villa was incredible. My favorite place we stayed in Bali, the pictures don’t do it justice. The living space is open air to the jungle and wonderful. The pool is gorgeous, and the location is great for walking to restaurants and temples. They cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. We accidentally left something in the safe and Made kept it safe for us and delivered it to us when we were back in town. We will definitely stay here again if (when) we come back to Bali!

Wow, this place is absolute luxury, the photos do not do it justice! As a group of four this villa was perfect for us, plenty of space to chill out with a beautiful pool area and big bean bags to move with the sun. The staff were incredibly helpful, breakfast was delicious, and communication was so easy. We didn’t want to leave! Make sure to visit the little cafe in front of the villa, Reina Jungla, the staff were so sweet and the food was unreal - make sure you get the cheese toastie!

Le logement est tel que sur les photos ! A 10mns à pieds du centre de Ubud donc proche de tout mais légèrement en retrait donc on y trouve le calme. Entouré de verdure, et avec toutes ces pièces ouvertes sur l'extérieur, être dans cette maison vous donne une vraie sensation de dépaysement. Tout est joliment décoré et d'une propreté impeccable. Le petit déjeuner proposé chaque matin est un régal et le personnel qui est le prépare et qui entretient la maison est adorable, d'une politesse et d'une discrétion remarquable. Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans cette maison et l'avons quitté à regret. Merci beaucoup !

Villa Nila is really beautiful! The pool in the middle of the roof jungle is a real highlight. The staff, which prepares a super breakfast every day and makes clean, is very discreet and eager to fulfill all wishes. The manager Ari takes care of everything, for example booking excursions or massages directly in the villa. Dear Made Ari and Villa Nila team: thank you very much for the wonderful stay with you! It could not have been more beautiful!

The villa was absolutely incredible. We had a wonderful visit to Ubud and Made really helped us make the most of our time. We felt welcomed into the villa by Made despite out late arrival and he made time to check in with us in person throughout the visit. With his help we were able to organize tours, meals, laundry and activities without any issues (and all at VERY reasonable prices!) We were fortunate to have our amazing driver Arya thoughout our trip. He was incredibly kind and helpful, our kids loved him! A lovely addition is the coffeeshop next door Reina Jungla which has amazing coffee and pastries. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa to our friends and family

This place was a gem of a find! The location is perfect, It's a 15 min walking distance from the craziness of Ubud. The open jungle setting to the lounge room was so beautiful! The pool was perfect in temperature + completely private, nobody can see in. The bathrooms were so tranquil. My sister and I got 2 separate single beds however they were narrow and uncomfortable (we are short and not big) , Mum's double bed was more comfortable and big, so maybe those who are thinking to get separate beds are better off sharing a double. The 2 male staff would come early in the morning to cook a delicious breakfast and clean the place, we would request the time and food we wanted the day before. While the staff were so quiet, friendly and accommodating we never felt completely comfortable as 3 women to lounge around the house as they were there for a while and never knew when they would go and come. If you don't mind workers around your temporary home, then this place is 10/10.

Made’s villa was fantastic, just a short walk from the shops in ubud made it feel like you had your own private sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle. He was extremely accommodating and arranged for transport and scooters, great host 10/10.

Our stay was amazing! It was more than we had ever expected. Fresh breakfast served every morning by wonderful and friendly staff. They kept the villa spotless every single day. Made was ALWAYS available, whether we just had questions or needed recommendations. He helped with arranging outings, from a full day tour to just helping with ride service. He made every effort to assure that we had an amazing stay. The young men that helped with the daily upkeep were a pure joy to have around.

Four of us stayed in the villa here, two couples. It was a very relaxing and comfortable stay. We loved the privacy, the pool, the large space, and the attached restaurant convenient and delicious.

This place was amazing. Beautiful jungle all around. Very private villa. Great location close to Ubud shopping. Pool was one of a kind. Host made us feel very comfortable. I feel in love with the place. Would give more than 5 stars if it was possible. 100% recommend to everyone.

Hands down one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed! The pool is unreal, it’s so huge! The pool deck is lower than the villa, so it’s a nice separate space if you are staying with a group. The living space doesn’t have walls, just curtains that can be lowered. It was bright and airy and lovely to spend time in. At night we closed the roll down blinds and the space was nice and cozy. However there were some stray frogs and lizards around so if you are afraid of those this wouldn’t be the place for you! However the bedrooms are sealed much better and I saw no small creatures! The location was very nice, it’s behind a very western style upscale coffee place / bakery with delicious coffee and food, and it’s very private. It was a close walk to the center of u ubud, only 15 minutes. The host was so kind and the villa staff cooked us breakfast each morning. Truly amazing stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Ubud house! The location is great, just 10min walk into center of town, groceries a 5 min walk away. There were 3 of us and everyone loved the big open central space and pool area - lovely areas to relax in good or rainy weather. Even though there are incredible restaurants in Ubud, a couple nights we ordered delivery dinner to enjoy the space, and recover from sightseeing. The inclusion of breakfast (yummy and beautiful ), nice smelling bug spray, laundry, and AC in the bedrooms were all greatly appreciated, alongside the lovely house staff. Made was quick to respond to any question or request, and very helpful sorting transport and tours for us (fabulous Wayan!). Absolutely no downsides - I hope to return to Bali soon and stay here again. Thank you Made!

What a treat! Our family of 4 (2 x adults, 2 x 10yo’s) stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved the Villa and the whole experience. We arrived earlier than expected but didn’t have to wait long before Dede arrived to welcome us. The Villa is exactly how it looks in the photos, in a stunning setting and a really great space to relax. Breakfast was prepared daily in house and was plentiful and delicious. We didn’t have any problem with mosquitos or insects - had a visit from a couple of lizards and frogs though which was cool! Thank you to Made, Dede & the team for such a memorable and unique end to our holiday 😊.

This Villa is absolutely beautiful. It is even better than the photos. It is incredibly relaxing, surrounded by jungle and beautiful nature. Made and his team were incredibly accomodating, friendly and helpful. Made has wonderful communication and is always very quick to reply to messages and organise activities. Extremely happy with the service provided. The helper is so polite, quick and responsive and helped us so much. Loved the space, decorations and atmosphere. Quite a lot of insects here and there but we expected them in a place like this, we appreciate that there were no mozzies even though its an open concept. Incense and repellents were provided for us too which was so thoughtful. Housekeeping was really fast and clean. Breakfast was provided and cooked for us on the spot which came as a surprise for us but it was lovely and so delicious. Overall we’re very satisfied with our stay and enjoyed it very much❤️

One of the most beautiful wonderful airbnbs we have ever stayed at! If you are in Ubud and looking for an oasis in the jungle this is the place for you! Absolutely breathtaking and huge space. You literally are in the middle of the jungle with an infinity pool. The best part, however, was the outstanding and ultra kind service from Made and his team!!! Made was super responsive and helped us book everything from our drivers to our in-house massages. A chef visits and cooks your breakfast for you daily and staff come to clean the living area in the mornings, so you literally wake up each morning to a clean space and a lovely meal waiting for you. I felt incredibly privileged and honoured ❤️🙏🏽 If you stay here, you MUST also book the in-house massage therapist who comes to the airbnb to provide massages in the outdoor living area. We got the 2 hour Indian head and neck massage and facial and it was absolutely the best massage experience that all three of us have ever experienced!

Very luxurious Airbnb, fulfilled our expectations and wishes. Open kitchen, open living room! Very nice! The Airbnb exactly looks as shown in the pictures. Breakfast was appropriate and there was a lot of choices. Every day the rooms were cleaned, there were fresh towels and other hygiene items.

This villa is amazing! Loved the traditional open air design and the beautiful jungle outlook. The bedrooms were great with private bathrooms and very comfy four post beds. The pool was giant for a private villa and such a nice spot to relax on the sun lounges and look out at the tropical surroundings. Location is good, a easy 10 min walk to the heart of ubud for restaurants or shopping but far enough removed that it’s a peaceful setting. Our host Ari was great. He made everything easy and helped organise massages in the villa and transport at a great rate. Can’t wait to return to this special place!

From check in to check out the process was smooth and Made communicated with us constantly to ensure we had transport, were comfortable and he even reached out make sure we were safe during the floods. Made also has his own scooter rental business and can help with booking any activities or tours.

We loved our stay at Made's! everything is like the pictures and the pool/jungle area is even more stunning in person! Communication with Made was easy and fluid. We really appreciated that we could arrange transportation with Made and not having to think how to get around. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful during our stay, thank you so much!! This Villa was incredible! it took our breath away the minute we walked through the doors - it was our very own private rainforest getaway. Made Ketut made communication easy and he ensured we all had everything we needed during our stay - he helped us organise our daily breakfast, tours and even organised us to have massages in the villa! it was an incredibly comfortable stay for 4 people, but easily for 2 as well. We absolutely loved our stay and I have already been recommending this villa to friends and family. We will definitely be back!

A perfect place to stay which I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Ubud! the hosts were extremely friendly and made food every morning for us. The pool was a nice addition to the already amazing villa. the location was great also as it is walkable into the main town. 10/10 all round!

Overall our stay here was excellent and Made and his staff made sure we were well informed as extremely warm and welcoming. They were also extremely responsive to our messages and always responded quickly. They provided us a binder of helpful information, FAQ's and even emergency contact numbers. The only minor complaint, which was not Made's fault was that there is another property next to the villa which was doing construction. They only did construction during the daytime it seems but we were out exploring during that time so it did not bother us. Otherwise we had a great time here and were very happy to have had Made as our host.

This villa is a dream. A perfect blend between traditional Balinese architecture and modern comfort with contemporary design accents. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and the open air bathrooms are just fantastic, especially the master bathroom that has a beautiful terrazzo bathtub! The open concept living space is perfectly designed to let you enjoy a free, and connected with nature, kind of lifestyle. The location of the villa is incredible: away from the noise of Ubud, yet a 15 mon walk from the centre. It's surrounded by nature: you wake up and see the jungle right in front of you. The grounds are very well maintained, with manicured gardens surrounding the beautiful swimming pool. An ideal place to lose yourself in reading, or in pure contemplation, while listening to the birds singing. Made's staff was very attentive, professional... and they make a killer breakfast everyday for you, tailored to your needs and wants! Now, about the noise: indeed there is a construction (restaurant) happening next to the villa. On our first day we were concerned with the noise level as the construction crew was polishing cement right next to the villa. We quickly got in touch with Made who was superbly efficient. We communicated our schedule (days and times we would be out of the villa) and Made suggested the construction crew they move their work away from the villa, to another part of the restaurant, while we were staying in the villa. This worked well the majority of the time. When the owner of the restaurant "flexed some muscle" (I guess he is on a tight schedule!) and asked the workers to polish the cement (how much polishing is needed for cement benches really???) next to the villa, the cicadas came to our rescue! In a concerted fashion, as they heard the noise generated by the tools, they collectively started singing louder and louder! Nature is always there to help ;-) Once again, thank you Made (and the villa owner) for all the help provided throughout the stay. I would rent again this stunning property in a heartbeat!

Beautiful wooden villa not far from the centre. The hosts were very attentive and were quick to respond. Super comfortable beds and the pool is absolutely stunning! Unfortunately a bit of building work nearby but this didn't affect us much.

We enjoyed our stay a lot in Villa Nila. Made and his team did everything to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. As for the location - 15 min walk to the centre We recommend to use Gojek for mobility, especially during night since it can be a bit scary to walk home (we were 4 young women). Otherwise it was an amazing stay. If you want to have the jungle right infront of you, this is the place you want to book!

The villa was lovely in a brilliant location out of the hustle and bustle of Central Ubud but only a 10 minute walk down to the main street also a lovely coffee shop at bottom of that road. The villa itself is beautiful and the pool is great. We travelled as a couple with 2 teenage sons and everything was great kids had 2nd room split into 2 beds already made up for arrival. A lot of mention of bugs in the reviews but there are bugs everywhere in Bali so no complaints here. We walked down the road into Ubud many times and yes it is narrow but never felt unsafe with 4 of us

This is absolutely the most AMAZING place I have ever stayed in. I would highly recommend the villa - pictures don't do it justice. My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids, ages 12 and 10), had a wonderful stay and the staff were lovely. I was worried that the property would be too far for my kids to walk into town, but it was a nice easy walk with lots to look at on the way. Breakfasts were delicious and the staff were discreet but very welcoming. I had also been worried about mosquitos, with the property being in close to jungle and no external walls), but we didn't have any issues at all during our stay (have experienced worse at home!). My favourite aspects of the property were the beautiful pool area and the little 'reading hut' in the jungle. As a bonus, the bed was extremely comfortable. I'm already planning our return trip!

Villa Nila is a wonderful lil slice of heaven. We very much enjoyed our stay. The host Made Ketut was away but we were well looked after by Dede and his fellow colleague. Dede was amazing and helped with all questions, requests, advice and was a fantastic breakfast cook. The breakfast was a real highlight of our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were well designed. The infinity pool was outrageous! Stunning and very refreshing after being out and about during the day. The Villa is located 10-15mins easy walk to the centre of Ubud. We felt it was the perfect location being far enough away from the hustle and bustle and also close enough to get around on foot. The open living area was a lovely spot to lounge about. We would highly recommend! Suksma! Sampai jumpa lagi.

This is a great place for a relaxing stay in Ubud. A short distance away from the Ubud Palace, it is quiet and well maintained and also provide a range of services on site like massages and yoga classes. The host can even arrange for a chef to come in for ~800k IDR/pax. Do note that these need to be paid for in cash though so do remember to bring sufficient cash if you'll like to try them. The breakfast provided contains a daily selection of local fruits, fruit juice, toast and egg/yogurt. I strongly recommend the omelette that Dedek makes. There is currently a restaurant being built right next door, so there might be some noise during the day and can be a little annoying but it stops well before the evening. The host also provides an natural mosquito repellant spray in addition to mosquito coils and electric mosquito repellants for the stay. Given that the villa is facing a small forest, these were massively helpful but still be prepared for some bites.

Villa Nila is a really special place. The Villa itself, the staff and the management were all just beautiful. The best part of our time in Ubud was spent relaxing here in the living room or down by the pool - looking out to the jungle and treetops beyond. Extremely thoughtful staff and great breakfasts provided every day. We can't wait to return. Thank you for making our stay so special.

We loved our stay here so much. While the villa itself is absolutely stunning and so well located, the biggest highlight to us was the kindness and responsiveness of the staff. Breakfast is included daily, so yummy, and ordered the day beforehand. The staff cleans the entire place daily, including sweeping all of the outdoor areas. The whole villa was larger than we thought, which was a double score. We will be recommending this place for sure.

Had a wonderful time at the villa. The staff were so attentive. They made us a beautiful and healthy breakfast every morning and coordinated massages the morning before we left. It is very hot in Ubud, so you just have to prepare for some discomfort from the heat, but otherwise this place is paradise! Large pool, too.

We were two couples and stayed at Villa Nila for 4 nights. It was our first visit to Ubud and we loved every part of it. The house is beautifully decorated and the pool is refreshingly cool. With the open style of architecture we felt super close to nature and the jungle. We booked 3 massages through our housekeeper, which were great and good prices. He also made us breakfast everyday which we really enjoyed! If you aren't into driving a scooter, it's easy to get around Ubud with grab/taxis. On foot the walk into town (15min to main street) sometimes feels a little long, as Ubud is quite big, there's a lot to discover and it can get quite hot during the day. So definitely recommend renting scooters if you're into that. Would love to visit again!

Villa Nila was a great spot to call home for 3 days. The two bedrooms had comfortable beds and cold Air conditioning. The remainder of the house was open air with comfortable seating. The pool was amazing and gave a true sense of being in the "jungle" of Ubud. Morning breakfast was wonderful and some of the best meals we has while in Bali. The staff is attentive and nonintrusive. The town is about a 15 minute walk away. The streets are busy and if walking isn't your thing transport arranged from the Villa was about 75,000IDR one way. While the amenities lists Washer/dryer that is not entirely accurate. There are no units in the home, but staff will take and drop your laundry off for 15,000IDR/Kg of laundry. Service is fast and clothes were clean and smelled great. I would recommend and not hesitate in the least to return to Villa Nila. Great experience all around!!

We loved this Balinese villa tucked away in the jungle just outside Ubud. The villa itself is very comfortable and in good order with a pleasant pool area/deck just below the main house. We were well looked after by the guys that look after the cleaning and who provided breakfast every morning for us. They were also able to sort out things like laundry for a small fee. The only slight drawback is the location - just a little too far from the centre of Ubud to be easily walked especially when there is very little in the way of sidewalk which can make things interesting after dark. Having said that the distance itself is not too bad when you have mastered the art of walking among the motorbikes - and of course the upside of that is that it is a really nice quiet location. The host, Made, was exceptionally helpful from the moment we booked and always available to answer questions which was done really promptly. He organised transportation to the villa, during our stay for day trips, and also sorted our onward transportation to the next destination - all with a great driver in a good vehicle. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a lovely stay, extended for 1 more day. Villa was super beautiful, stylish, quiet and had lots of air. We could hire a taxi if needed or could walk to the centre of Ubud (15mins). Perfect laundry was arranged for us.

Even during the hottest part of the day it was very comfortable to sit in the outdoor living room with the ceiling fans on and read or just admire the gorgeous jungle surroundings. My husband and I had a great stay at Villa Nila. Made was responsive and helped coordinate a driver for us multiple times. Dedek is who we saw daily at the home and he was lovely - from making us a delicious breakfast each morning to coordinating an AC technician immediately when the bedroom unit had a small leak. The property is magical with a beautiful pool, quiet at night, and an easy 15 minute walk into town. I also greatly appreciated how clean and well appointed the home was. Thank you for making our three days in Ubud spectacular.

One of the best Airbnbs I've stayed at. In addition to the home being unique and beautiful, everything was clean (and cleaned daily). Made was incredibly responsive and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. Everything from transportation, to food, to check-in/out were seamless.

This place is just magical. We were in awe as we stepped in for the first time. So beautiful and quiet. The space is wide open, but also had many little nooks you could cozy into and enjoy some coffee or tea with a good book. It is just so beautiful and quiet. The breakfast was just over the top. Endless fruit and a smoothie every morning. Dedek the on-site staff was so warm, welcoming, and helpful. Honestly, this is one of the most special places we have ever stayed in. One thing to note. It is about a 10 minute walk into the center of Ubud. this was great for us as the home is quiet, and tucked away from the craziness of the city. However the walk is on a somewhat busy road without much side walk, so you must feel comfortable and confident in your ability to walk along a street like this. For us it was no issue at all, but it is worth mentioning.

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay here! The villa was beautifully decorated and had so much character. It was incredibly easy to arrange transportation to and from the places we needed to go and was located close to town. Made was super accommodating overall and we hope to come back some day!

A very nice place with great staff!

This is a very cool experience. Other than the bedrooms the villa is outdoors and open aired so it feels like you are living in the jungle. There were lovely touches added because we were on our honeymoon like swan shaped towels and flowers on the bed. I would not suggest staying here if you are afraid of bugs or lizards (although none of them are dangerous you likely will see them). The place is a bit outside downtown Ubud so its more quiet at night but easy to take a motorbike into town. The living area is very spacious.

The villa was amazing, exactly as shown in the pictures. The hosts were very helpful and thoughtful. The breakfast was delicious too! Highly recommend this villa to anyone who wants a calm and open setting to relax and enjoy nature.

An incredibly beautiful, spacious villa with thoughtful artistic touches, pictures and antiques. We loved the pagoda down below the swimming pool for a quiet and leafy hangout, and we found the breakfast cooked onsite delicious and unobtrusive. The villa is a 10-15 min walk into the main part of town - it's very peaceful by comparison.

We had a lovely stay in this villa. A home cooked (hot) breakfast everyday complete with fresh smoothies and fruit! The villa was very very clean and it was nice to return after an outing each day to find fresh towels and our beds made. Amazing staff, the sweetest driver (Agung) and a real authentic Bali villa with the indoor/outdoor living. It doesn't get any better than this villa! Thank you for the wonderful experience! The place lives up to all the good reviews. Beautiful villa set very close to downtown Ubud, fronted by a rice paddy, next to small village temple, and across from a nice large antique-art gallery. It is a wonderful and peaceful place to wake up. Communication and assistance were excellent. We enjoyed our assigned driver agung as well the recommendations made by made ketut, the owner. A word of warning...at night most will want a drive home from restaurants or bars in ubud. Finding a taxi that didnt want to charge double normal rates was difficult during galungen when we were there so we pre-arranged a ride the next night with our driver. The ride is only about 10 minutes depending on traffic.

Villa Nila is a wonderful respite from the busy streets in Ubud. The villa is very clean, the pool is beautiful and the staff, especially Dedek, was very helpful and friendly. The villa is perfect for 2 couples or a small family. The location is excellent, close to downtown Ubud but far enough back from the road to be a quiet oasis. We had a lovely stay and can't wait to return.

What an amazing place! Villa Nila did not disappoint. From the outstanding service and communication from Made and the team to the jungle setting and infinity pool, our trip was 5-stars. We leveraged Made and the team for a number of requests including daily massages, yoga, scooter rental, and local recommendations (not only in Ubud, but in Ulu as well). The prices were very fair and the quality was exceptional. Would highly recommend staying here if you're in Ubud, and would absolutely recommend renting a scooter for your time as it gives you the freedom to explore. Would also recommend Clear Kafe for breakfast/lunch/dinner as it was exceptional. Would pass on Locavore as it wasn't really our style and overpriced. All in all great stay in Ubud - only wish is that it would have lasted longer!

This is a spacious and beautiful villa. Made and the team ensured that we had everything we needed before we even checked in. The location would be a 10-15 min walk from the main part of Ubud, which could be good or bad depending on what you prefer. Made helped arranged a motorcycle for us which made it much easier to commute around. It took us a day or so to fully get used to the outdoor bathroom, even though we thought we knew what we were getting into, haha. The daily breakfast was delicious! We left early for a tour one day so had to miss breakfast, and came back to fruit bowls and smoothies in the refrigerator. I would definitely stay here again, and bring a bigger group next time since the villa is meant to be enjoyed by more than 2 people.

One of the loveliest and most luxurious airbnb's I have ever stayed at. It was breathtaking just walking into the space. It feels so lovely and secluded, yet so close to Ubud. The property was stylish, spotless and with luxury amenities. I have never felt so pampered and the price was quite reasonable. The surrounding greenery, sound of the river and a pool to cool off in was pretty great as well. The beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning in them works very well. The internet was quite reliable and the communication with the host was great. Perhaps my favourite part was having a truly delicious and filling breakfast (chosen from a menu) of fresh fruits, eggs and Mie Goreng with fruit smoothies and fresh coffee every morning. Not to mention enjoying the luxury of not having to clean the dishes after. I loved the fast and well priced laundry services every morning as well. We have young children (age 3 and 5) and found that this was one of the few properties in Ubud where we didn't have to worry about them falling directly into a pool from an open living space. The pool was down a set of stairs on another level the access to which be easily blocked with heavy teak chairs. There were some slightly raised platforms and stairs in the living space to mind but they were running around and having a great time on the giant floor cushions in no time. A place I would definitely recommend and dream of returning to. Treat yourself and book it if you get a chance!

My partner and dear friend and I stayed at Villa Nila for nine nights and can’t speak more highly of both the house and surroundings and the staff. The villa feels both stylish and authentic and the lush tropical garden setting made us feel relaxed as soon we arrived. We found it very hard to leave this morning and are already fantasizing about coming back. Made and the team took care of our every wish and nothing was too much trouble for them. It’s an easy walk into Ubud which offers an abundance of food options. Ubud is also well located to explore the northern part of the island. We took advantage of the In-house massages and the chef cooked us an amazing meal after we had been out on a day tour. Both were great value and did not disappoint. And that brings me to the pool.....WOW! Stunning setting, low chorine and the perfect temperature to freshen after lounging with a book or an evening meal. It’s pure heaven.

We had an incredible experience at the villa - everywhere we stay after this will be a let down! We were picked up at the airport and greeted with cold towels and water bottles which was so refreshing. After arriving at the villa, we were handed fresh coconuts which was a great touch. The villa itself is stunning, and full of lovely little touches like bathrobes and organic but spray. Waking up to breakfast and fresh smoothies every morning was one of the highlights of our trip. Literally every dish was great, but would definitely recommend the noodles! Overall, would definitely recommend the villa - if we come back to Ubud, I don’t think we could stay anywhere else after the amazing experience we had.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Villa Nila. We thought the location was great, a bit off the beaten path but if you are up for a short stroll then it is about a 10 min walk to the main area of shops and restaurants. They were also very helpful organizing a taxi/driver but they do prefer a days notice. If you start walking however, you will see many taxi stands along the road if you are looking for a last minute ride to dinner or bars. The breakfast was incredible and very filling. Every morning we chose the noodles with veggies and a fried egg on top. It also came with toast and jam and fresh juice and hot pressed coffee. The chef and cleaning crew were very nice, they came and did their work without disturbing us. As this villa is mostly outside, there will be the occasional bug or critter from time to time, but any problems we had they took care of right away. They had tons of mosquito candles set up everywhere which definitely seemed to help. The bedrooms are completely walled in, the beds had mosquito nets and the rooms had AC. We slept very well here. It's a beautiful villa with a great design. The pool area is even more gorgeous than the pictures show as the landscaping has grown in and it has even more of a jungle feel. Highly recommend this villa, will absolutely come back.

As an older American physician and architect couple, we can be picky and exacting. Villa Nila and Made exceeded our every expectation. From our breakfast every morning, to the security of having someone on the property every night, the staff was unobtrusive and excellent. I will miss Dedok’s omelettes and fruit smoothies every morning. The beds and linens were of such good quality that we slept well. It was an outstanding house to rent, the pool alone is worth the cost.

Very large compound and accurate to photos. There is a short walk required from main road to the villa but it’s nicely lit with bamboo lamps. The house itself is beautiful and the pool view is unique and amazing. The beds were also very comfortable. We really felt like we were living amidst nature and seclusion, but villa is also just a short 5 minutes drive from Ubud Centre. breakfast was also well done and delicious. Wonderful place.

We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. Starting from fabulous interior design and multi-level villa layout to service level of staff and fantastic breakfasts they cooked. Our stay at Villa Nila was pure luxury. The architecture is absolutely amazing and offers a harmonious connection with the surrounding rainforest. The Villa is spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need for a luxurious and relaxing stay. The host, Made, is a generous host who is always quick to respond to each of our queries during our stay. There is also staff to service the Villa daily making sure all our needs were met and that the Villa was kept clean and well presented day in and day out. The Villa is a short 5min scooter ride from main town of Ubud which is perfect for those wanting to be near town amenities but also wanting to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great accommodation and recommend it to all.

Villa Nita is a magical place to stay in Ubud and amazing for small families. We enjoyed traveling around during the day then coming home to enjoy the fabulous pool at the end of the day. We’ve been to Ubud before, but staying at the Villa made this trip extra special. Made was quick to communicate and answered all our questions. Tip: use Made to arrange transport to Ubud center as the road the villa is on is quite busy for kids. Breakfasts were delicious, AC was cold, and our time was relaxing and full of special memories.

Fantastic private villa with two bedrooms and open, spacious open-air section with bean bags, massive TV, kitchen, dining table and sofas. Suitable for adult family, friends and couples. Private swimming pool and varied breakfast included for free. Villa Nita (also called Villa Nila) is situated at a 10 minute walk from Ubud town centre, and therefore is very close to markets and restaurants yet very quiet and private. You can hear the sounds of wildlife around you while you have your breakfast of dragonfruit, papaya and banana, plus smoothie and omelette or Indonesian breakfast noodles or granola fruit yoghurt salad! One thing to note is that there are insects around the villa, given that Ubud is a jungle. The villa is cleaned every day, including bedsheets and living space, and the two cleaners are very friendly and relaxed, and don’t intrude on you if you need private space. There is a security guard present at night in an adjacent building, and the host is always available on WhatsApp (Indonesian primary form of communication). There is parking space available for a large vehicle if you come in one, and plenty of secluded space for scooters closer to the villa building if you’re renting one. Alternatively, you can rent a scooter (if you have an International Drivers Permit) a close 5 minute walk away at a tourist tour operator, where you can also book tours for rafting through whitewater rapids through Ubud’s jungles and valleys, go trekking up Mount Batur to watch the sunrise and see the entirety of the island of Bali, go for ATV runs through more Ubud jungle, and far, far more! In the town centre, there are plenty of spas, restaurants, and boutiques for all your enjoyment needs! The villa itself is composed of three levels: the actual villa building with open-air roofed section, a second level with a large swimming pool and sun beds, and a third level with a cozy gazebo-type platform with cushions surrounded by jungle vegetation for a wild, living-in-the-bush feel. Go for a week at minimum, otherwise you’ll regret it!

Magical villa, fantastic central location with a wonderful feeling of being in the jungle. Staff warm and friendly. Would highly recommend the in-house meal cooked by Mila and her daughter Sharon. We chose the Rijstaffel menu, exceptional food! Mila and Sharon so warm and lovely to talk to. Already planning our next trip to Ubud and this spectacular villa!

Stunning place and experience, don't think twice - this is one of the best places you can book in whole Ubud. The place to experience tranquility of Bali - garden, pool, open space - everything above any expectations. And off course super helpful host and stuff on the villa - local tips and any kind of services. Brilliant.

The staff were by far the best part of staying at Villa Nita. We were picked up by Agung from the airport with no issues what so ever - everything was a smooth process. We liked him so much we requested that he be our driver for the reminder of the trip. All staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. When booking tours the response was immediate. House was clean and tidy. It took about 5/10minutes to walk to town I would definitely stay here again.

Made's place is just about perfect. It's located in the jungle and you can hear the river below if you listen carefully. The pool is the largest I've seen in a villa this size (our 5th time in Ubud) and super clean and in great shape. This is a great location, easy to walk into Ubud center (we never used a taxi or motorbike, didn't need to). Beds very comfortable, breakfast everyday was delish, our one issue (pool lights not working) was dealt with immediately, great service. Would definitely return.

漂亮的森林木屋，适合不怕蚊虫的人。整个公共区域以及卫生间都是半露天的设计，与自然环境融为一体。两个卧室是密闭的有空调的。睡觉的时候有蚊帐，也提供了很多蚊香和驱蚊液，睡觉的时候不会担心被蚊虫叮咬，但是在客厅还是要小心。每个房间都有两张瑜伽垫。在与森林中做瑜伽，与自然很好的融合，让人内心宁静。装修非常有格调，泳池也很棒。每天提供的早餐也很棒，有四种选择，很丰富很美味。房间也很干净，只是没有洗衣机，但是提供衣物送洗服务，也不贵。再次强调，害怕蚊虫和小动物的女生要慎重选择。因为青蛙会坐在你旁边看着你收拾行李，壁虎会看着你吃饭，蜘蛛会看着你洗澡。不害怕的人会觉得很可爱。总之，非常特别和珍贵的体验。

I did enjoy spending four days in this outstanding traditional house, it was full of great details، and it will make you feel you live far away from any noisy town, but in fact, you are living just about 10 minutes walking distance from the Ubud center. I did enjoy my time there, and Made makes it much easier and more comfortable.

An amazing stay at an amazing villa. Outstanding service, cleanliness and comfort throughout. The setting and villa are all exactly as shown in the photos. Services were happily arranged via the property manager, the villa is about 15 minutes walking from Ubud city center, so everything is there or you can simply arrange a driver as needed. Breakfast was provided and fresh daily. We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to stay again.

Made’s place is a gem! It is beautiful with lush greenery and the private pool is an extra bonus. Delicious breakfast was made every morning. We had help with bookings. The host was easily accessible at any time of day. Everything was spectacular. I would definitely stay again.

A wonderful tropical abode in the wilderness. A sparkling clean place with all the amenities, vernadah with TV, music system and kitchen and an infinity pool all to yourself. Takes you back to the old world. Would recommend this to anybody seeking peace, quiet and in sync with the nature while being stylish at the same time.

Amazing villa. We loved our stay. The beds were very comfortable. I had a very difficult time to get my family out of bed in the mornings! We loved coming back to the villa and chill in the outdoor living area. The property is 10-15 minute walk to the main area of Ubud. Breakfast was provided and cooked every morning which was nice. Don’t forget to jump in the pool!

This Villa is truly one of the beautiful in Ubud and conveniently located near the center. Made and the team helped us get to the villa from DPS airport and showed us some sites on the way! The Villa is sparkling clean and stunning! We greatly enjoyed the private pool and were well taken care by the house staff who cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning. We will come again soon!

Great private spot in beautiful natural surroundings. Town is a 10min walk (although road is a bit rough) or super quick 2mins on scooter. Great staff, perfect getaway spot.

Villa Nila is an absolute dream! The photographs don't do justice to such and amazing and surreal living space! The attention to detail of the staff and the kindness of the people we dealt with was incredible. Such an exquisite experience!

Villa Nila er en fantastisk villa i gangavstand fra Ubud. Nydelig skjermet beliggenhet og helt privat. Fantastisk basseng og uteområde. Frokosten som ble tilberedt og servert hver morgen var helt fantastisk. Verten var svært hjelpsom og svarte raskt på spørsmål. Det var en veldig nyttig bok i villaen med blant annet forslag til aktiviteter og mulighet for booking av massasje, med mer. Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold i villa Nila! Det eneste vi hadde å utsette, og dette var en liten detalj, var at gulvene på soverommene var noe slitt enkelte steder og gav etter når man gikk på de.

Made's place is something out of a dream! Everything you would hope for from an Airbnb, meaning it had everything you could need from citronella (for the mosquitoes in Ubud) soap and natural repellent, to extra towels for the pool and freshly changed linen and air conditioning in the bedrooms. A couple awesome things I'd like to highlight: The staff and service. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host staff with fresh coconuts for drinking, and were told where everything was, when the staff would be there, and who to keep in contact with if we wanted to schedule any tours or anything like that. The staff cooked us breakfast every morning -- it was delicious and so nice to enjoy in the beautiful villa before heading out for the day. We took advantage of their tours as well and were able to book the Mt. Agung hike directly through the staff so we didn't have to worry about it. They even arranged to have us picked up directly from the villa. Also, Ubud was our fourth stop in Bali, and by that point our laundry smelled like sweat and mosquito repellent. We placed our dirty clothes in the hamper and they came back to us clean the next day for a small change. That was super nice. THE POOL. Wow, this airbnb is worth it just for the pool. Perfect temperature, extra towels by the lounge chairs, and the most ideal view of the lush jungle just over the infinity pool's edge. What more can you want. The open concept design. You can get an idea from the pictures, but this house is so gorgeous. Our first day a heavy rain came through Ubud, and my friends and I had the best time sitting on the floor pillows, watching the rain in awe from the floor of the living room. It was honestly magical. I also LOVED the open bathroom. Hands down, one of the best showers of my life. The atmosphere is amazing, and everything is so clean and gorgeous. This house was very well designed though, because even though the kitchen, living rooms, and bedroom bathrooms are open the elements the bedrooms are not so you can still enjoy a cool, air conditioned sleep away from the bugs and humidity. Truly ideal. I can't recommend this place enough! I hope you enjoy your stay in Ubud as much as we did.

Amazing location, quiet but close to everything in Ubud. Also restaurants in walking distance 3 min - try Warung Titi! The arranged transfer from the airport was very pleasent, also the scooters they rented for us, were brought to the villa. The staff was very friendly and we loved the breakfast smoothies! The owner and staff were wonderful. Being greeted with fresh coconuts, and having fresh delicious breakfast made every morning was delightful. The property was quite but still very close to town. Would definitely stay at the property again in the future.

We had an amazing stay in this gorgeous villa! It is perfectly located just 10 min. walk from Ubud center but in a much better calm area. Its better not to stay right in the center of Ubud cause its very noisy but here you can find the perfect peace without staying far from the center. They prepare breakfast everyday and clean , the staff is lovely. And that pool is just amazing!!! Thank you for everything🙏🏻

The villa is an amazing place near Ubud downtown walking distance or you can take taxi if you mind walking. It’s an open space surrounded by nature and it makes you feel you are outside of town. Made made our stayed very special he helps us booking tours, cooking class, transportation, massage which we had at the villa everyday. I highly recommend the exfoliating massage. The staff came everyday to make breakfast which is very nice before going on a tour. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The pool is amazing very refreshing after all day walking in Ubud. I definitely recommend staying here. The place and the service is amazing. Thank you for a great holiday in your villa. We are a family of four and my kids (8 and 11) had a really good time there.

We had a great stay at Villa Nila. It is a beautiful villa and the photos don't do it justice. The pool in particular is great. We expected it to be in a dark and shady area from looking at the photos but it's much nicer than that and gets plenty of sun. The garden at the bottom is also a lovely place to hang out and read in the shade. The staff are great and very quiet in the morning so shouldn't disturb you unless you are a very light sleeper. Breakfast is delicious - we had fresh fruit, eggs on toast and coffee. The beds are very comfortable and the mosquito nets both attractive and reassuring. We'd been bitten a lot at a previous villa but had no issues at Villa Nila in spite of the 'jungle' setting. You can walk into Ubud- it's downhill about 10/15 minutes although as others commented it is a busy road with no pavements so a little care is needed. If you don't want to do that it's fairly easy and cheap to arrange a taxi from the villa. We also booked a driver for a day to see some sights and Made was very helpful with some excellent suggestions for us. We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to a friend.

The villa is gorgeous (even better in life than the pictures!) and very comfortable with great beds and great atmosphere. Just a short 10 min walk from town (no sidewalks but mostly enough space on the side of the road to walk). Communication with Made was very easy with quick responses and he was very helpful to accommodate to our needs. We didn't want to leave and definitely recommend this villa,

Fantastic stay at the Villa. We were 4 adults and made the most out of this being our base during our stay in Ubud. The best experience I’ve had with a host while staying there as any questions I had or any plans I wanted to make were catered to immediately. Breakfast in the villa each morning was fantastic and we also used the tv lounge area some evenings when we were staying in to relax.

It is a great and quiet place to stay. The place is spacious and clean. The breakfast is super and home made jams are delicious. A very nice place for family or a group of friends to stay, of cause also a wonderful place for a couple.

Beautiful property, set back from the road and neighbors so it feels very private. Lush tropical landscape. Everything is outdoors except the bedrooms, so you really get the island living experience. We stayed in late June/early July and saw very few mosquitoes, but enjoyed the geckos and tree frogs! Air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well and the fans outdoors kept us cool. Breakfasts were great and staff very friendly. The only issue we had was transportation. The villa is in walking distance to the main street, but the narrow road has no sidewalks, so we wanted to use a taxi. Since Ubud doesn’t have Grab or Bluebird, we had to arrange transportation through the villa’s owner, Made Ketut. He was occasionally delayed in his response, and one day we were stranded at the villa because he was out of town. We tried calling the service he uses, but were told we had to go through him. When we did get a taxi, the drivers were fantastic and we ended up hiring one for a day. Getting a taxi from Ubud back to the villa is no problem (lots of guys on the street will ask if you want a taxi) costing 50-75K.

We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to stay at Villa Nila. The home and setting far exceeded our expectations! The home is beautifully decorated with various areas to lounge and enjoy the jungle views. The pool is perfect for cooling off in the afternoons, and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The setting, just far enough out of town to be quiet and peaceful yet close enough to be in the middle of the action in only a few minute walk, was absolutely perfect. Finally, the villa manager and team were incredibly kind, gracious and helpful hosts. They helped us organize meals in and out of the villa, activities to temples and rice paddies and shopping, and transportation to the airport. They were quick and easy to communicate with and made our stay feel extra personal and special. We absolutely loved our time at Villa Nila and hope to come back again next year!

A great stay. What an awesome place. Very clean, organized, thought of everything. Made was very responsive with any inquiry we had, and did a great job with organizing in-villa massages and a day trip for us. Do yourself a favor and order the mee goreng for breakfast, very good!

This villa was amazing. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely accommodating and very nice. The villa is located walking distance from Ubud central. The staff will also book you motorbikes and tours. We booked a tour for one of the days we stayed and Made drove us around personally. He was very nice and patient. He would explain things to us on the tour and made for a great day. I would recommend staying here to any of my family and friends

The Vila and service we received this week rivals what we received at a 5 star resort in bali! The communication and response was fast, the amenities are great, and I loved all the optional services. The Vila is far enough away from town to have privacy but close enough to be walkable. We look forward to staying here when we return to Bali!

Our stay was incredible. Where to start... the pictures do not do this villa justice. It’s even more beautiful in person. The landscape is lush, pool is amazing, and it’s just so stylishly decorated. The bedrooms also have air conditioning which was ideal for sleeping. The staff at the villa are warm, kind and you can tell how much they care about the Villa and their guests. From the morning breakfasts and fresh coconuts upon arrival, the service was superb. We also had massages arranged at the Villa, private yoga session, a tour of Ubud (we learned so much about the history, etc. def a highlight), and transport to Canggu for dinner. We also arranged for transport to and from the airport (we were met with cold water and cool scented towels upon arrival which was a great touch after a lot of travel). I could go on and on, but in short, amazing Villa, great staff, a must stay (we will definitely be back ourselves and recommend it to our friends).

Amazing place and stayed there with another couple. The swimming pool is the best part and would spend time here after breakfast or before sunset, amazing views and great for sunset. Note, the place is out doors and with that comes some friendly jungle critters. Recommend doing a grocery run when you arrive and take a taxi back to the place (50,000 idr ~ $5usd). The place is about a 10 minute walk into town, and I'd recommend getting a scooter to get around town. Extremely close to the Monkey Forest and Yoga Barn, relatively close to the rice patties but would recommend taking a taxi to the water falls or water palace. Great restaurants in the area and was great the time you wanted breakfast (8-10am). Staff really friendly and the host responded nearly immediately to any questions I had via the app. They arranged transportation to and from and made for an awesome experience in Ubud.

Wow! We loved this villa. It was exactly as advertised. The villa is set amidst rice paddies and forest, and its setting is calm and soothing. It blends a natural feel, with exquisite design. The owner has great taste in furnishings. It was very comfortable, with lots of nice places to sit and relax. Every view was pretty. I especially loved the pool, which blends very well into the surroundings. We also appreciated the great air con in the bedrooms. The staff on hand is quiet and efficient, and made great breakfasts for us. They were also available to help us scheduling massages and other activities. My only regret is not staying longer.

The photos don't do this place justice it's even nicer in reality! Walkable to Ubud and yet completely secluded jungle life. We loved our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Nila. The outdoor space is absolutely wonderful - the daybed area was great for hanging out in, and the pool was lovely. Breakfast cooked for us every morning was wonderful. The Villa is a little bit of a walk from town, so we recommend renting scooters (Theo organized this for us). There is a driver available through the Villa, but we found it best to book at least a day in advance (even for a short trip into town) as they got booked up by others quite quickly. Theo was always available for us via WhatsApp for whatever we needed. We loved staying here!

This Joglo is very near the center of Ubud, you can practically walk to Monkey Forest Street to your favorite cafe or do some people watching. However, this Villa gives you everything that you want, a beautiful pool set by the jungle complete with a stream running next to it, a very peaceful atmosphere and great ambiance. The villa itself is done artistically with attention to details, giving you a feeling of complete seclusion and serenity but not far from the center of Ubud. We would definitely stay here again!

Villa Nila is a real home away from home. Set amidst lush green jungle and rice fields, cosy, with a nice chill out area and perfect pool. It’s a perfect combination of a remote and central location. Villa is located a little bit away from the central street and is therefore quite remote and silent, but the city centre can be easily reached by really short taxi drive if walking is not enjoyable due to the heat. Great value for money.

Such a great stay especially for the value. The design of the villa is tasteful yet make you feel homey. Enjoyed the pool and in-house breakfast very much, beds were comfortable too. We also liked our drivers, especially Made, totally recommend him! If you love being in or close to nature, definitely recommend this to you.

Beautifully secluded but only a short walk from central Ubud, the villa has everything you could ever need or want-you basically have your own house to play with. Every morning you’re greeted by brilliant staff creating refreshing breakfast options that taste as good as they look (fruit bowls are boss). They’re quick, efficient and respond to your needs very quickly. Highlight is definitely the general layout of the villa - tiered levels and multiple lounging areas mean you can move about and feel like you’re in a completely new space every time and mix up what each space is for. Playing music over the top of it all perfects the feel. Oh and let’s not forget the pool - nice and deep and a drop off edge with a stunning Buddhist statue below. Well worth the stay and perfect if you wanted to have a larger group together during the day.

We had wonderful time staying here. Not only is it beautiful just like the pictures but amazingly it’s like your staying in your own private peaceful rainforest oasis, perfect for Uber. A big thank you to all of Made Ketut’s staff who cooked us breakfast, cleaned, provided advice and drove us where we wanted to go to. We could not recommend it more highly.

This is a great private villa around a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Ubud (with some closer shops) that feels much further away, with a rice paddy out front, a river out back (that you can’t really see) and nothing much on either side. It was very comfortable, the staff were discreet and the pool was enormous.

Made's place is a jewel in UBUD. Its close to town however its built nicely into a multilevel teres of what I believe used to be padi fields which leads to the river. There is a small alley/walkway that needs to be negotiated however there will be staff from the villa helping you with the check in and check out process. Once you arrive, just relax in the tranquility of the surroundings. Its beautifully nestled into the surrounding "jungle" as you are surrounded by plants, vegetation and fruit trees. You will have mosquitos, ants etc....it is a tropical island and Made's place is by the river, therefore these things are expected, however the villa provides mosquito netting and repellant. There was also a resident pest controller in the form of a gecko (tokek in the local language). Amazing little fella. It did not pose any threat in any way....except for the occasional "tokek" sound.. The place is kept clean by wonderful staff who are very polite and helpful. Good breakfast...nothing beats a freshly cooked breakfast. Any issues was dealt with the staff in charge Dedek. Best thing bout this place is when you retire for the day and its absolutely peaceful. Great atmosphere to just relax and do absolutely nothing.

La Villa est magnifique. Très agréable à vivre. On s y sent bien, le séjour ouvert sur l extérieur c est top ! Calme (sauf les grillons), belle literie très confortable. Grande piscine. Un super petit-dej le matin est servi entre 8h et 10h. À 10mn à pied de la rue principale d Ubud, des commerces. Cela se fait très facilement et sans souci le soir pour rentrer. Notre interlocuteur a toujours été très réactif. Il nous a même réservé un cours de Yoga à la maison. Très bien. Nous reviendrons !!

Die Villa ist wie auf den Bildern wunderschön und sehr hochwertig ausgestattet. Lage ist sehr gut, 10 Minuten zu Fuß von der Geschäftsstraße entfernt,aber total ruhig. Der Service ist perfekt und die Angestellten sind sehr zuvorkommend. Highlight für uns war der Pool, der sich wunderschön in den Garten einfügt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Unser Gastgeber war sehr hilfreich und hat alle unsere Ausflugswünsche umgesetzt und organisiert, viele Tipps und Empfehlungen . Wir hatten wirklich einen Traumurlaub!

Die Vila Nila ist ein wunderschöner Ort um ungestört die Ferien zu geniessen. Man ist umgeben von Natur. Abends konnte man die Geräusche der Tiere geniessen. Das Zentrum ist zu Fuss in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Vila wurde morgens nach dem Frühstück geputzt. Die Bettwäsche und die Tücher wurden täglich gewechselt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Such a beautiful Villa. From the start of the trip the communication was impeccable.The host answers immediately to any questions concerns bookings you would like to do in minutes from when you write him. If it wasn't for the beauties that Ubud has to offer there would be no reason to leave this villa. Everything is made so convenient for you. If you want to be pampered while on vacation this is the place to be. Breakfast made every morning with fresh fruit. Booked a great stone massage from the host and they come to you. The host has great options of activities to do from water rafting to places where to eat and drink at night. Rented scooters, Highly recommended short drive to the center. I definitely recommend this place if you're coming to Ubud. Would definitely stay here again and next time for a longer time.

WOW! What a treat to stay at an amazing private villa all to ourselves! We enjoyed staying here from the first moment we stepped foot in this lovely open-air home. Talk about being one with nature and having ultimate privacy in the jungle. We had no problems with communication and the location is not in the hustle bustle of ubud which we loved. This location is a definite gem and would have love to kept it a secret, but we need to help each other out! I can't wait to stay here again in the future! Thank you so much!

Einfach ein tolles Haus! Alles ist viel weitläufiger, als die Bilder vermuten lassen, superschön und top gepflegt. Die Villa ist inmitten eines tropischen Gartens sehr ruhig gelegen und doch fußläufig ins Zentrum in ein paar Minuten. Die Jungs, die sich ums Haus kümmern sind richtig nett und machen ein klasse Frühstück. Made kümmert sich sensationell um alles, was man brauchen könnte, sei es Transport, Beratung und Tips für Unternehmungen oder top Restaurant Empfehlungen. Besser kann es nicht laufen. Ich war bereits in 3 anderen privaten Villen in Ubud, Villa Nila ist mein Favorit und ich werde hoffentlich bald wieder hierher zurückkehren.

We loved our time at Villa Nilla! It is as beautiful as all the photos and exactly as described. The space is a gorgeous peaceful oasis, so close to the centre of Ubud. It was so lovely to come 'home', after being amongst the hustle and bustle, and feel completely relaxed. We could sit and soak in the ambience all day long :)

This is an absolute gem of a villa in very trendy and cool Ubud - our fave stop on our tour of Bali. It’s a 10min walk to the main road where all the shops, bars and restaurants are. Also very close to the monkey forest. Yet it’s also very secluded and private so you feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle! The villa itself is stunning! Very clean. Cool and quirky decor - it’s been really personally decorated and makes you feel at home straight away. The pool and outside areas are stunning - exactly as they look in the pics. A great balance of feeling close to nature and the jungle but also a cosy and warm feel to it also. And the hosts are super helpful and always on hand with any thing you need. We had a lovely breakfast cooked for us every day and we had yoga classes, massages and a private chef arranged easily for us through our hosts. I couldn’t recommend Villa Nila enough !! You won’t want to leave!

We loved staying at Theo's place. We found the house exactly as advertised. The housekeeper, Dedek, was very helpful and checkin was super easy. The daily breakfast was pretty good as well. The bedrooms had excellent air conditioning and the sitting room area remained quite cool as well due to fans. The cleanliness was top notch, with the sheets and towels cleaned daily. The pool was fantastic as well and it was awesome to swim surrounded by the forest. We would definitely love to stay here again. Highly recommend!!

Petit coin de paradis à l'intérieur d'une île paradisiaque où nous sommes totalement dépaysés tant par la culture, l'architecture, la gentillesse de la population, la nourriture, la nature... Je recommande à chacun de passer par Bali afin d'être plongé dans cette quiétude dégagée par les lieux. La villa est tout simplement magnifique. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut (calme, beauté, infrastructure, sérénité, confort, piscine). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll und sauber. Der Gastgeber hat uns persönlich begrüsst und war super nett und entspannt. Auch das Mitarbeiterteam war zauberhaft. Die Villa liegt nicht weit vom Ubud-Zentrum, und doch ist es sehr ruhig. Ganz besonders schön: der Blick in den Dschungel und das (leise) Rauschen des Flusses... Wir haben die Zeit dort genossen und können es wärmstens empfehlen. Auf diesem Wege noch mal vielen Dank!!!

Theo's 'Villa Nila' is one fantastic villa. All the images you see are exactly as you will find the villa. Nestled at the back of a rice field off the street, it is a haven that we (family with 2 kids) really enjoyed. It's a 10-15 min walk down to Jl Raya Ubud, which you'll have to navigate to normal traffic until you reach a footpath, but nothing of an issue. The helpers are great as are the drivers, led by Made, which Theo has working for the villa. Would recommend this Villa to all without hesitation.

The villa was superb, the service was delightful. Looooved the pool and the design of the villa. We hired scooters which made moving around easy and fun, it also made the location of the villa ideal, minutes from the hustle and bustle but secluded and private. Absolutely, undoubtedly, unequivocally..... the perfect spot for a family xxx we loved it.

If you are traveling to Ubud, there is NO better place to stay than this villa. The place was beautiful - pictures are very accurate and, as with most things, it is even better in person. The host Made Ketut was incredibly helpful with arranging transportation, offering suggestions on places to see/eat, and even arranged us a fast boat to the Gili Islands ! On top of that , the staff that came each morning to make breakfast was incredibly friendly and made us delicious and authentic Balinese dishes. This spot was by far our favorite stay on our 2 week trip all across Bali. It is removed enough to give you a real sense of calmness and privacy from the busy downtown Ubud area but no more than a 5 min drive to everything in Ubud. This villa gives you the feel of a 5 star resort with the privacy of your own home - it doesn't get any better than that!! Thank you so much Made !

Amazing clean villa with So much charm and character and exactly as pictures show if not better as a few additions to what you see such as hanging ceiling swing chair in living room which was cool to hang out on. Staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke English well enough to hold conversations. Breakfast made fresh everyday. Small selection but all really good. Didn't meet the host but they made sure we were well looked after even though they were enjoying their own vacation, checking in on us each day via message which was really thoughtful and was really appreciated. My partner was poorly first night and next day when the staff arrived they made him a special drink to calm his tummy which done the trick. You can literally walk into the main strip in about 15 mins. One straight road so really easy to navigate. Awesome pool and seating. If you don't like critters then this place may not be for you due to the open plan of the living room, kitchen and bathroom but if this would put you off then you probably shouldn't visit Bali full stop and so for us this was no issue. It just added to the charm of the villa. Special thanks to Made who collected us from our prior location and took us to the villa for an additional fee. He provided us with cold flannels and water and was really informative. We took one of the tours with him too which was well worth doing. If your unsure whether to book this place then please don't give it another thought, just book it. You really won't regret it!!! All round A****** and worth every penny! Thank you 😊

A terrific villa walking distance from central Ubud.

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans cette Villa à la fois près de tout (10 min à pied de la rue principale d'Ubud), et assez en retrait pour se reposer au contact de la nature balinaise. La piscine en plus d'être belle est très agréable on croiserait se baigner en rivière tellement l'eau est claire et douce. Bref à refaire si nous repassons par Ubud sans hésitation.

Such a special place. Amazing design and decor, feels like you're in your own private paradise. We didn't really want to go out and sight see because just staying in the villa was so wonderful. Service was outstanding. Theo is an amazing host and organises everything for you with drivers, pick ups, tours and spa pampering if you want. Amazing breakfasts with choices. I would highly recommend this villa as an amazing place to stay in Ubud. Aircon in bedrooms is perfect. The pool is just amazing with views over your private jungle scenery. Great mosquito repellant devices so we didn't have any problems with bugs. Towels and linen of a really high quality. I can't say enough about how great this place is. 5 stars ✨ for sure

This place is heaven! We stayed in 4 villas while in Bali (2 in Ubud) and this one stood head and shoulders above the rest. The attention to detail and the expansiveness of this property were only bested by the attentiveness​ and gracious nature of the host and staff. This will truly be a place I will never forget - simply transcendent. To say the property is just like the pictures/description would be to vastly under rate it. Everything is thought of, from complimentary organic bug spray, to waking up to the smell of coffee and breakfast being prepared every morning. It's truly a magical place hosted by great people - you cannot have a bad time here.

Theo was extremely responsive to questions. Helped organise a scooter and massages for us. Fabulous villa. The pool is amazing. A bit tricky with a toddler as there's lots of steps and ledges, but Theo was fine for us to move furniture around and ornaments to prevent breakages etc. Definitely would love to come back!

Awesome place close to nature, very quiet in the rice paddies. We really enjoyed our stay there and the 15min walk into the centre of Ubud was no problem for us. The villa is very nice, very well equipped, great pool and super relaxing.

The villa was absolutely amazing. The details were perfection, we loved the tile, the awesome indoor/outdoor living space and the infinity edge pool into the lush jungle was incredible. I especially loved the outdoor bathrooms, I never wanted to leave! Theo was a fantastic host, check in with seamless and he was available on WhatsApp during our entire stay helping us set up massages and giving us restaurant recommendations. It's just a short walk from the action so very quiet and serene but still close to the exciting town center. If you are in Ubud absolutely do not think twice about staying here!

Beautiful villa and surroundings with stunning infinity pool and interior stylings. Checkout was seamless thanks to member of staff Ari, breakfast was served everyday of high standard. Walking distances to main shops and restaurants of ubud. I was particularly impressed with the communication and openness of the hosts. We were told some months before that part of the villa wall had collapsed due to heavy rains and landslide. The hosts were very honest about this and give plenty of information via email. There was no noticeable damage on our arrival. Overall a wonderful stay, comes highly recommended.

Villa Nila is a five star luxury experience. Our stay at Villa Nila exceeded beyond our expectations. With its breath taking jungle and rice paddy views, its secluded location, architecture and attention to design, makes it simply magical. A design lover's dream! The photos do not do the Villa justice. Photos cannot capture the scale and beauty of the space. Theo was always readily accessible and ready to assist with any matter. In addition, Made, the property manager and driver, was hospitable and professional. The team at Villa Nila were always there to make our Bali experience a positive one. The location of the Villa is just off beaten track. It was a 20 minute steady walk to the city centre. My husband was in an ATV accident, and we did not feel comfortable renting a scooter to get around (especially in Ubud centre). So for the most part, we were walking to most of our destinations. The open air design of the Villa was managed for this most part. On a daily basis, the staff provided us with fresh mosquito coils to burn and in addition, mosquito repellent was available and mosquito repellent plugins for the bedroom. This was more than enough. For those guests who are afraid of bugs and small jungle critters, please take note. The wi-fi is excellent and the A/C and fans provide relief. Thank-you Theo and Jonathan for having us at Villa Nila. You made this leg of our Bali trip an unforgettable one!

Thank you for a fabulous experience at your wonderful villa. Our three week stay was a well balanced mix of relaxation and the opportunity to encounter the everyday Balinese life through the appropriately suggested tours. A great selection of activities and very friendly and accommodating staff. Nothing was too difficult if asked for. Very private and we absolutely loved the pool. As discussed with the host Theo the cooking experience was worthwhile but would be a far better encounter if the class was more hands on for the participant. Loved the personal spa treatment at the villa - Balinese massage is the way to go. Future guests should consider the travel time with some of the tours though as it can be a very long day. Overall we were delighted with our stay at the villa and would highly recommend it for future holidays and references. Thank you Theo for your patience, suggestions on what to see and do and organising the activities. A wonderful host and a very private villa set amongst well manicured gardens with rice paddies out the front.

Our familly stayed at Villa Nita for 5 days, we had an amazing experience, all the staff, drivers and hosts was super friendly and nice. The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures, Theo was always just a sms away helping us with anything and super friendly. Theo helped us organize a yoga-teacher for some days wich also was great. Dont hesitat to rent the Villa, you will have an amazing time!! We hope to come back longer soon!

The house is ideally located, only 10min walk from the center of Ubud but isolated enough to enjoy quiet holidays if you want to chill around the amazing swimming pool in the jungle atmosphere. Theo and Jonathan were really reactive to respond to our requests and were super helpfull to provide drivers, good addresses and tips about Ubud to their guests. The house is tastefully built and decorated, with the finest quality products. The structure of the house creates a great atmosphere with its open space living area. We would definitely choose to stay there if we visit Ubud again and recommend it to everybody :)

Villa Nitta is magical place! Hidden jem in the jungle, you do not want to live this farytale place, yet if you leave, Ubud central village is close enough - you can use friendly taxi service offered by Theo&Jonathan, but we used also Uber few times. Walking distance thou. Villa is Perfect for meditation, relaxation and retaining energy levels. We were there with two small kids and they also liked it. Great stuff and tasty breakfast. Prompt communication with Theo and Jonathan during the stay on whatever we needed. Will come back!

Myself and my girlfriend had a wonderful stay in Theo & Jonathan's Villa. We only met Jonathan but he was very friendly and talked us through all we needed to know on arrival. The pictures are spot on and even better when you walk in for the first time, esp the infinity pool that looks into the jungle. The welcome book was very thorough and detailed, it has everything you need to know about the Villa, the area, restaurants and spa options, which helped us plan and enjoy our stay that little bit more. The wifi was strong and consistent. Villa Nita is extremely well decorated and equipped, with the 3 main fans keeping the inside/ outside house cool and the aircon systems in the bedrooms are spot on. The decking area and the pool on the middle level are a perfect little oasis after a delicious breakfast made by the housekeeper or an afternoon trekking through Ubud. There are a vast amount of shops and restaurants which are only 10/15 mins walk away and the monkey forest is less that 25 mins on foot. Overall, we could not fault anything in our stay and we'd highly recommend Villa Nita to anyone :) if we come back to Ubud, we'll be staying here!

Incredible! This was our first time to Bali and Theo and Joe helped make it everything it could've been and more. The house was absolutely amazing from the lovely kitchen to the cozy lounge area and the relaxing pool over looking the forest. It's so close to town, but while we were at home, the only sounds we ever heard were the wonderful nature that surrounds the villa. The staff were all lovely and very happy to help with any issues, the driver had fantastic knowledge of the entire island and was an absolute gem to be around and the in house massages and facials were done by a very talented woman with the noises of nature as the perfect background music. We had one minor issue with the water pump to the house that was solved instantly with no further issues for the rest of the trip! I would highly recommend this to anyone as a top place to stay in Ubud and I hope to return there soon.

Theo and Jonathan's space is absolutely beautiful and their hospitality and communication was equivalent to a luxury experience. Communication prior to arriving to Bali was seamless. Our arrival was easy and the check-in process was simple. Throughout our stay we had constant communication to ensure we were happy with the stay and to check if we needed anything extra. If we had a question or concern, we had a quick answer immediately. The space is gorgeous and tranquil - a perfect space for a relaxing vacation in a wonderful part of the world. With two bedrooms, the area provides privacy for two couples or friends with A/C and protection from the elements! The pool is exquisite, clean, and adds the perfect touch to a gorgeous space. The location is perfect on the north end of Ubud (a quick 10-15 minute walk or a quick and inexpensive cab ride). It is quiet but still close enough to the center of the city. I would absolutely recommend staying at this gorgeous villa when visiting Ubud and definitely want to return back soon.

Theo and Jonathan's place is absolutely spectacular. It is a beautiful villa not far from Ubud town centre but feels like it is set right in the jungle. The furnishings and decorations are lovely. The pool area is stunning and the pool itself cool and refreshing. There are several different living areas in the house and we found it perfect for us, my parents and our two young kids. The beds were really comfortable. Communication with owners was very prompt and they have made a big effort supplying an information book which is very handy. Would definitely recommend.

It was amazing!! Even better then it shows on the pictures, really wonderful. Lovely place with lots of room and a big swimming pool with an amazing view on the nature. It was an awesome time. Also the staff was really great and helpful. Theo & Joe are just wonderful guys. They arranged our tours and activities in just a view minutes after contacting them. Also the villa is located just a view minutes walking from Ubud center with lots of restaurants and shops. Just 100% recommend this to everybody who is staying in Ubud! Thanks Theo and Joe!

We rented the villa for 4 days with another couple of friends and we all found that the villa was stunning. We finally spent more time in the villa than expected! Everything was made to create a relaxing atmosphere. The villa is really quite with a swiming pool in the middle of the trees and it still walking distance from Ubud center. Theo and Joe's Villa Nita was simply stunning. It is conveniently located, close to Ubud's centre where shops and restaurants are aplently. The villa is just as beautiful as the photographs, with little nooks in the garden and the living area for reading and relaxing. Theo was very easy to reach and arranged a car and driver for the duration of our stay, as well as extra mosquito repellents, which we recommend as the villa is surrounded by trees and groves. The staff onsite were very helpful and prepared us a hearty breakfast every morning. And that pool... a beauty! A wonderful, unforgettable stay at Villa Nita. Will come back!

La estancia en Villa Nita fue maravillosa. La Villa es igual o mejor de lo que se ve en las fotos. La decoración de la villa es de un gusto exquisito, llena de detalles que la hacen si cabe más disfrutable, y la piscina es de ensueño. La localización es muy conveniente, en una zona de arrozales y casas particulares que te hacen creer que estas en medio de la nada, pero tan sólo a 700 metros de la calle principal de Ubud y a 20 minutos andando del Monkey Forest. Jonathan fue un anfitrión perfecto, muy simpático, siempre atento a nuestras peticiones y sugerencias. Volveríamos sin dudarlo y no podemos sino recormendarlo a todo el mundo. Encantador!!!! This villa is amazing, you can find everything you expect from Ubud on it. Theo arranged the pick up from Kuta for us and the driver took us directly to the villa. He also gave us his mobile phone so we could ask him for anything and he was always available. It is really close to Ubud center but at the same time you feel like in the middle of the jungle. I would describe as the perfect place to stay when going to Ubud, as it only took 5 minutes by motorbike to get to Ubud center. In relation with the villa, it is simply incredible. It was clean and tidy, even if it is open. Pictures do not show how amazing this house is.The swimming pool is beautiful, with direct views to the jungle and you have all the open living room which is amazing. If one day I go back to Ubud, I will not think twice about going back to this villa, one of the best experiences of my stay in Bali.

Theo was a great host. We were a fairly high maintenance group yet Theo kept a great attitude throughout our entire stay. We had a few minor issues which he went above and beyond to correct. The villa is just as beautiful as the pictures. Every detail of the place seems to have been well thought out. The staff were also great. The place was well kept during our stay yet we hardly noticed them. Additionally, the place is well located. Just far enough outside the busyness of Ubud to be quiet and relaxing but also close enough to easily walk into town. We would definitely recommend this villa and would happily stay again if back in Ubud.

Impressionnante Villa qui est tout aussi bien représentée en images sinon mieux dans la vie réelle. Privée et isolée, calme et paisible et très propre et bien équipée la villa est très bien située en plein cœur de Ubud! Théo était un hôte super sympa, très disponible et organisé que ce soit pour nous aider à organiser des transferts, louer des scooters directement à la villa ou même nous aiguiller pour les excursions sans oublier de nous conseiller pour un restaurant sympa le midi ou le soir. Très facile de communiquer avec lui sans compter sur un service irréprochable du personnel de maison. Encore mieux qu’un hôtel, villa magnifique en tout sens, et on y est encore mieux qu’à la maison. Que dire de plus si ce n’est : « excellent séjour, et expérience parfaite » à la villa Nita. Merci encore Théo pour tout et à l’année prochaine. ;-)

Theo's place is simply amazing . I would recommend it to anyone , whether you are a couple , family or group of friends . It is located a lovely 10 min walk from Ubud's main st , the open plan living space is amazing and takes real advantage of the beautiful surroundings , it has everything you may desire , infinity pool , views , kitchen , tv , hot water and breakfast is great . Theo is a great host and is always available . I recommend any of the tours at hand . Pictures do not make this place justice .

The villa is simply amazing. Very close to to nature. Well done! Theo was an incredible host. Very helpful. We had a few hiccups with power cuts but nothing major. If I ever visit Bali again, I'll definitely stay there again.
