Villa Candi

Exploring Villa Candi left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Villa Candi was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Manggis plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Villa Candi painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Very quiet and peaceful. Right near the beach. Too far out of town to walk but that doesn’t matter as restaurants are happy to pick you up. Kids loved the 8Ball table.

Belle villa dans un cadre authentique. La vue à couper le souffle, la mer baignable à deux pas et les restaurants à proximité font en sorte que je retournerais volontiers dans cette chaleureuse villa.

Villa Candi was beautiful! Amazing location, right on a white sand beach, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Villa is gorgeous. Our 2 year old loved running on the grass and playing in the pool. We had a few technical issues; the wifi cut out when my father in law was on a business call, the pool filter was not working on the first day and one of the fans was not working. So we had a lot of visits from handymen. Overall though, it was a beautiful place to stay and we would definitely book again!

Een mooi verblijf direct aan zee. Erma is heel behulpzaam en staat altijd voor je klaar. In de buurt zijn een paar heerlijke Warungs waar je lekker kan eten voor een mooie prijs. Voor rust en privé is dit een hele mooie locatie

Location is superb! Bali is one of our most visited holiday destination so each year we choose different area to explore and we’re very happy with this year’s choice. Villa Candi located just next to Candi Beach resort with Sengkidu beach just steps away from the villa. It gives a cozy homy vibes which we love. Our 8 & 10 yrs old boys l.o.v.e. the pool, the koi pond, grass where they can play a bit football, and the pool table, plus the beach with great waves and soft sands. We rented scooter to go to the villages up the hills, away from hustle and bustle. Quite few restaurants with reasonable price including the ones at the resorts as well lovely massage at NI spa. All that said, we enjoyed our stay despite some minor issues related to house maintenance. Little note that gardener would popped up at the garden quite often. He is a nice old guy though so we kinda tolerated and sometimes had a chat with him. Special thanks to sweet Emma (the housekeeper) who always make us laugh.

Une villa qui correspondait en tous point à la description, logement très spacieux, très propre et facile d'accès. La communication avec l'hôte est très facile, réponse très rapide. En bref un lieu charmant et paisible, quand même relativement isolé mais nous le savions. le seul point négatif en non du fait de l'hôte, ce sont les nuisances sonores dû aux animaux tels que les aboiements de chiens et les poules et coqs qui s'en donnent a coeur joie quasiment toute la nuit. Nous recommandons fortement ce lieux pour notre part.

Emma is really great, location perfect. The only bémol is not to have metallic ladder to help older people to get in &out of the pool.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the house. The location was next to the beach and the plunge pool was great to cool down. There are multiple restaurants in the area and other restaurants that will pick you up. A very peaceful and quiet stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Candi with our family of seven spanning 3 generations! What a location! Beautiful garden, pool and house and snorkel worthy seaside right outside the gate. We hope to be able to one day visit again! Thanks again to Erma and Wayan for being so lovely and helpful!

Le logement est très typique et spacieux. Nous avons trouvé la plage peux pratique pour se baigner. Les trajets en taxi sont très long (trafic) raison pour laquelle nous avons décidé de changer de Airbnb la deuxième semaine de nos vacances, afin de pouvoir plus visiter. Putu notre chauffeur (recommandé) était super et roule très prudemment. Merci!

Superbe maison dans un style très typique, avec le bruit des vagues. Le jardin est splendide… Erna est très sympa et très réactive. Nous avons passé un super moment à la Villa Candi !!

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. Literally right at the beach and walking to many good options. The dipping pool and outdoor living space was the highlight of the home! Erma and the gardener provided top tier service. So responsive and accommodating. We loved our stay. Great spot for families!

La maison est très bien placé, devant la plage d’un hôtel. Les restaurants sont accessibles à pied 15 minutes. L’hôte est très accueillant et le personnel très gentil.

We had an amazing time at Villa Candi! The villa itself is very beautiful, and the location is unbeatable. Being able to walk from the pool to the ocean in just 30 seconds is truly special! A huge thank you to Erma, who took such great care of us and was always there to help whenever we needed anything. It made our stay feel even more personal and welcoming. Big thanks from all of us. We highly recommend this villa to everyone!

Very clean and the mangers were very nice and helpful. The bedroom were well air conditioned and nice showers. 10/10 would go again.

On the one hand one wouldn’t want to write a good review to ensure future easy availability but on the other hand one also wishes as many people as possible to enjoy it.

The place is beautiful and near great restaurants and a beach. The host was friendly and helped with everything we need. The accomodation itself is high quality and each bedroom is well equipped (as well as kitchen) and gives you privacy. We had a great time staying there.

Het huis is echt prachtig op een mooie locatie. Genoeg restaurants in de directe omgeving. En wil je eens weg, Putu brengt je ernaartoe, als je wil snorkelen kan de tuinman dit regelen. Speciale dank voor Erma die ervoor zorgt dat het huis schoon en netjes blijft, en altijd vrolijk is. Wij hebben een top tijd hier gehad.

The place is really nice and out of the tourist crowd. We spent 4 nights in the Asanih's place in totally relax, we really appreciated the beach, just in front of the gate, and the billard in the living room, for our night tournament.

-Super helpful host, and partner, where always very responsive. -Erma greeted us, and showed us around. She was always considerate of our schedule and just a delight! This place gave us a taste of Baliense life with it's open air spaces everywhere (except the bedrooms, which were air conditioned for modern comfort). Even the bathroom for Bedroom 1 was vented above the shower. We especially enjoyed the sitting porch. Whether lounging, reading, or playing a game, it was a great place to relax and see the ocean. We loved the farm animals in the thick banana grove surrounding us which completed the authentic feel. Would love more time to relax on that porch!

We had a very relaxing time at Villa Candi. The house is really well set out and comfortable to hand out in. Lovely details and great welcoming feeling. Erma the house keeper was a joy. We went to Virgin Beach for the day and also local restaurants plus the resort next door. Lots to do around the area. Enjoyed our time there.

Happy to have stayed a night here on our way to Amed. Roosters were a little noisy but the house was gorgeous and my kids had fun in the pool

Amazing old school balinese Villa beach front

Amazing and gracious hosts. Clean, comfortable, and excellent location next to a nice quiet beach and proximity to several good restaurants and shops. Transportation by Putu arranged through the host was top notch. Insects come and go throughout the house which is to be expected given the open air concept and the fact that you’re in a jungle - similar to what we experienced in Ubud. If you are considering a beach vacation, pass on Nusa Dua and come here. Virgin Beach is a short drive away and amazing.We plan to stay again.

Wir haben 4 schöne Tage in der Villa Candi verbracht. Erma hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns die Villa gezeigt. Ob das Sitzen im Pavillon, das Billiard spielen, die Erfrischung im Pool oder Baden im Meer, wir haben die Zeit genossen. Zwei Restaurants sind ganz nah, zu weiteren und zum Supermarkt geht man ca 1 km. Außerdem bieten einige Restaurants in Candidasa einen Abhol-Service an. Es sind auch viele interessante Ausflugsziele in der Nähe möglich, Erma hat uns ein Taxi organisiert. Wer empfindlich ist, sollte wissen, dass auch Nachts laute Naturgeräusche von der Brandung, den Hunden, den Hähnen, den Kröten und Geckos zu hören sind. Die beiden hinteren Zimmer sind aber ruhig. Wir können die Villa auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Amazing house in a tranquil location.

Unser Aufenthalt in Manggis war fantastisch, die Lage ist sehr schön direkt am Meer und das Grundstück mit dem Pool ist einfach toll. Wir haben uns als Gruppe super wohl gefühlt, was auch an Erma lag, die sich um alles gekümmert hat und sie immer für uns da war. Danke für den unvergesslichen Aufenthalt!

We had a great stay at Villa Candi. Right from the beginning we knew we were on to a winner. Our initial enquiries were answered quickly with lots of useful information. Once we booked, Patrick and Sanny arranged excellent and efficient airport transfers despite us arriving on two different flights, one with a four hour delay. They could not have been more helpful and Putu the driver was a superstar. The Villa itself is lovely. It is 20m from the beach, spacious and comfortable. The original artwork and antiques add real charm. Erma the housekeeper was amazing and looked after us exceptionally well. The gardener kept the pool and grounds in perfect condition. The surrounding area is peaceful and the local reef is good for snorkelling, although the short boat trip to Blue Lagoon is well worth the effort for some spectacular reefs. There are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance, although the menus are very similar so do venture further afield. In summary, a great place

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Haus. Wir waren zu dritt und hatten reichlich Platz, der Garten ist wunderschön gepflegt und das Meer näher als erwartet. Alles war rundum sehr gut: sauber, schöne Badezimmer, gute Ausstattung, ausgesuchte Einrichtung und Dekoration. Erfrischender, sauberer Pool. Ruhige Lage. Gute Restaurants auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Danke an Erma für alles. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!

Merciiii beaucoup à Patrick et Asanih pour cette magnifique villa dans laquelle nous avons passé de très bons moments avec nos amis ! Spacieuse, confortable, calme,bien équipée et très proche de la mer et d'une très jolie plage. De qui oasser d excellentes vacances ! Erma était vraiment adorable et très communicante. Wayan le gardien très discret et sérieux. Nous recommandons vivement cette villa à Candi Dasa! Encore un grand merci aux hôtes pour leur gentillesse et leur réactivité pour répondre à tous nos besoins et envies !

Wat een prachtige plek en wat is oost-Bali mooi!!! Aan het strand waar je de zee kan horen. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en de tuin is een plaatje. Het zwembad heerlijk verkoelend en onze kinderen hebben zich er goed in vermaakt! Extra bijzonder maakte het de ceremonie die plaatsvond vlakbij het huis zodat je de Balinese traditie vanuit de tuin kon aanschouwen! Hoogtepunt voor onze zoon was echter de pooltafel maar de kinderen hebben zich ook uitstekend vermaakt met de pingpongtafel! De staff heeft uitstekend voor ons gezorgd en allerlei zaken helpen regelen (snorkelen, was etc.) Op loopafstand verschillende restaurantjes (neem de route over het strand in plaats van wat maps aangeeft!!) voornamelijk van hotels maar keuze zat. Ook een leuk koffietentje waar je heerlijke koffie en ontbijt kunt halen (oketo) Al met al een aanrader om te verblijven, zeker als gezin zijnde!

I stayed at this remarkable guest house for a day and it exceeded my expectations. The space was beautifully decorated with unique artwork, creating a creative and enchanting ambiance. Irma, was warm and attentive. The guest house was conveniently located near lovely restaurants and the beach. I regret only staying for a day, as it was a truly memorable experience.

Lovely villa. Erma, the housekeeper is awesome. Friendly and easily contactable. Villa is spotlessly clean. Location is a bit remote though but luckily there’s a hotel/resort nearby where we can have our meals.

Villa Candi should be on the Bali bucket list. The perfect island holiday, position, luxury, amenities… everything exceeded expectations.

Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful villa! We felt at home right away and loved to relax under the fan outside. The villa is full of thoughtful details and everything you need. The kitchen was well equipped and the pool was nice and clean. A special shout out to the housekeeper Erma and the Gardner. They were always helpful and welcoming. Would recommend this villa to everyone who likes a quite surrounding and enough restaurants in the area!

Les 4 jours à villa Candi ont été très agréables. La villa est grande, propre, belle. Le jardin est extrêmement bien entretenu. La piscine très agréable. Le salon terrasse est idéal pour bouquiner, passer du temps entre amis, se reposer. Erma nous a acceuilli et a porté un soin particulier pour que l'on se sente bien à la villa. Elle était présente en cas de besoin. Nous étions 8 et avions pris les 4 chambres de la villa. La chambre 1 est peu insonorisée mais çà n'a pas dérangé tout le monde. A proximité il y a des restaurants très bien.

We came to the Villa after a very busy and eventful schedule in Bali/Gili. We were looking for a peaceful and quiet time to wind down the trip. Villa Candi delivered exactly that and then some. The common areas are beautifully designed with constant sounds of water falling in the fish pool, ocean that you can see clearly, and nature sounds. The pool table, table tennis, pool etc were great additions. It’s clear that the entire house has gotten constant love and care from owners and the staff. Erma, the maid, was super helpful from start to finish and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The beach is right outside the Villa and packed with nice beach resorts for drinks and food. There’s treks and water activities that we could have done too. The way to the Villa from the airport was scenic. Can’t recommend Villa Candi high enough. I could have stayed in the Villa for months and not gotten bored.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem schönen Haus direkt am Meer. Alles war äußerst stilvoll eingerichtet und sauber, der Garten ist sehr gepflegt. Die Kommunikation war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. In der Umgebung sind tolle Restaurants und Cafés. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

We can not hype this place up enough! If you want an actual slice of heaven - this is it! A beautiful and very large villa with empty lots on either side and you can not only see but hear the beach from the house. Bliss. There are a lot of animals around and they can be noisy, but we are into that, it felt even more “off-the-grid” for us. The staff who look after the house are fantastic. A note that the grounds man is around often but is very helpful, knows all of the locals and plays a lovely Balinese traditional instrument by the beach (which he is incredible at) and you can hear floating into the front yard if the villa. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. All rooms have great a/c. Kitchen is super well stocked if you wanted to cook at home. That said, there really are a large variety of restaurants and local warung options within 2-10min walk. We really could have stayed at villa candy for much, much longer than a week. For those with a toddler or young children. It took our 18month old a moment to learn that the fish pond wasn’t for him to play/swim in and to take the stairs to the bali hut instead but the grass, the pool and all of the space was so incredible. He adored it. The beach is super lovely and at low tide and perfect for a toddler! Gentle waves and warm. They also purchased a brand new and lovely baby cot for our stay! Thanks Sanny and Patrick.

Had a great stay at Patrick and Sanny’s villa. The villa feels like deep inside a balinese village kampung, but it’s actually only 10 meters away from 5 stars hotels and a sandy beach relatively safe for kids to swim in. Corals can be found not far away but be careful there can be some strong undercurrents there, better take a snorkeling trip in Padang Bay. Patrick took care of assigning a driver to pick us up and show us around and arranged with the staff to welcome us and take care of everything we needed. It was perfect and we appreciated some calm listening to the waves while reading, playing billiard or plunging in the pool. Food can be expensive in the nearby hotels, but if you feel comfortable enough you can rent a motorbike and get warung food easily from the main road. Nice place and great hospitality. Thanks for the experience!

Such an amazing villa in a perfect location, right next to the water. Irma the housekeeper was lovely and so helpful. Communication with the host was quick and reliable. We can’t wait to come back, 10/10 would recommend!!
