Exploring Villa Capung Ubud - Private romantic & jungle view left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Villa Capung Ubud - Private romantic & jungle view was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Tegallalang plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Villa Capung Ubud - Private romantic & jungle view painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
The facilities and kindness were so good. But there were so many ants 😭
一次非常棒的体验，房东夫妇非常热情，沟通也特别及时，即使深夜服务也非常到位。房间环境特别好，布草都很柔软，毛巾都有淡淡的香气。
Wow where do I even start!! This place EXCEEDED my expectations. This was my first solo trip to Bali as a female and I am so glad I started here! Nothing but good and positive things to say! I had read previous reviews and they were spot on! Iluh and Made truly treat you like their family and make you feel at home. They live in front of the villa and I felt safe 24/7. Not to mention the place is BEAUTIFUL. I did not want to leave. Everything was clean and in pristine condition. Iluh would offer to come clean every day if needed. Please don’t hesitate to ask recommendations from them as they support local businesses! They have two cute doggies who are always there to greet you! Honestly I teared up leaving because my time here was so special and you don’t come across properties like this often. They even gave me a little fairwell gift on the day I was leaving ❤️ Also if you need a driver Made is available! Thank you so much to you both for making the start of my trip unforgettable!!

One of the best stays we've had. The place itself is absolutely beautiful, and Iluh and family were incredibly responsive and genuinely some of the nicest people we've met. They set up the room beautifully for my wife's birthday and even surprised us with a cake. It was a thoughtful touch. They also had scooters available to rent and a driver with a car on call whenever we needed to get around, which made exploring Ubud effortless. Nothing felt like a hassle. If you're staying in Ubud, I'd recommend this place without hesitation. Thank you for making our trip so special!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa à Bali. L’accueil a été vraiment parfait dès notre arrivée. Les hôtes ont été très chaleureux, serviables, disponibles et toujours prêts à nous aider dès que nous avions besoin de quelque chose. Nous nous sommes sentis en confiance pendant tout le séjour. Tout s’est très bien passé, la communication était facile et le service vraiment agréable. Rien à redire, nous avons été très bien accueillis et accompagnés du début à la fin. IIuh and Made were absolutely incredible hosts and made our stay so special. From the moment we landed at the airport, their communication with both me and my wife was excellent. We felt right at home from the very beginning, especially with the lovely welcome drinks waiting for us. They were so organised, caring, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which made settling in so easy. The Airbnb itself is in a fantastic location — tucked away just far enough from central Ubud to enjoy a peaceful and quiet night’s sleep, while still only around a 10–15 minute bike or car ride from the centre, where you’ll find plenty of amazing restaurants and things to do. And we can’t forget their adorable puppies! They were always so friendly and welcoming and definitely added to the experience. My wife and I absolutely loved staying here, and honestly, we miss it so much already. We recommend this Airbnb to anyone wanting to stay in ubud it was a 10/10 experience by far!
Our stay in Ubud was truly the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had, largely thanks to our incredible hosts. They are an amazing couple and team who genuinely cared about making our stay special and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful experience. They offered transportation for a very reasonable additional fee, making sightseeing completely hassle-free. They shuttled us to different sites and great spots for photos, so we could simply enjoy Ubud without worrying about transportation. We also loved having the option of a delicious homemade breakfast at the villa. For our anniversary, we purchased a beautiful floating floral design for the pool, which was such a special touch. The Airbnb itself was beautiful, peaceful, incredibly comfortable, and felt like our own private paradise. It was everything we need. The host hospitality made our time in Ubud unforgettable. We would absolutely stay here again and cannot recommend it enough!
It’s honestly hard to put into words what Villa Capung meant to us. The villa is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature, but what made our stay truly special was the family behind it. Made, his wife Iluh and Made’s parents never made us feel like guests. It genuinely felt like staying with family. We travelled with our 10-month-old baby, and the love they gave him touched our hearts. Made’s mother loved him like her own grandson, and Made would even carry him in the baby carrier during our tours. We spent time talking, laughing and meeting Made’s relatives. It was an experience we have never had at any Airbnb or hotel before. Even their goodbye gift made us emotional. We came as guests and left feeling like family. Whenever we return to Ubud, there is only one place we will stay — Villa Capung. From me, my wife and our baby, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

Iluh’s stay is the best and most romantic listing you could choose in Bali! The Villa is located in a convenient spot if you need a pickup to see all the attractions or if you need a cab to go to Ubud center it won’t be more than 12 mins. Her Villa is outstanding and you’ll be greeted by the host and their beautiful dogs! The made sure we were comfy and we had all the necessary resources to make our stay perfect. If you are coming for your honeymoon, i would highly recommend getting the package. Makes the experience 10x better. Iluhs family were so accommodating and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Many thanks to Iluh and her husband for making this trip an amazing experience.

房东非常热情友好，信息回复很及时，会提前给我沟通时间，住酒店的时候不小心把刷牙的杯子打碎了，房东得知后立刻进来清扫，还问我需不需要包扎，我说赔偿但房东说没关系不用，很暖心☺️，另外房间很宽敞干净，有在很好的维护。临走前房东还送了可爱的鸡蛋花发夹，特别喜欢💕里面的小狗moka也很可爱，很亲人，以后还会再来的😄
We had the most incredible stay at Villa Capung Ubud! From the moment we arrived, Iluh and her husband made us feel so genuinely welcome. They greeted us with refreshing welcome drinks, had a speaker ready for us by the pool, and even provided pool floaties to make our stay extra fun. The villa itself is absolutely stunning—luxurious, peaceful, and one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and you can really feel the love and care they put into hosting. When we checked out, they surprised us with heartfelt claw clips as a thoughtful gift, which was such a sweet personal touch. They also kindly stored our luggage for extra time, making our departure completely stress-free. Our only regret is booking just one night. We truly wish we could have stayed forever! This was hands down the best Airbnb stay we’ve ever had, and we will definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Ubud.

They’ve just started hosting, so everything is brand new and spotless. Upon arrival, Lluh and her husband came out to greet us, along with their adorable little dog, Mocha. We stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful experience—the room is beautiful, and the hosts have impeccable taste in furniture, with thoughtful details everywhere. You not only get a clean private pool but also your own little garden. The family is incredibly warm and always greeted us whenever we came and went, making us feel truly at home. Lluh’s husband also offers rental services for motorcycles and cars at rates lower 🥰🥰
Our stay at Villa Capung Ubud was truly exceptional and one of the most memorable parts of our honeymoon. The villa was beautiful, peaceful, private, very clean, and exactly as shown in the photos. The jungle atmosphere made the stay feel romantic and relaxing, away from the busy centre of Ubud while still being easy to reach by car. What made our experience especially unforgettable was the wonderful team. From the beginning until check-out, they treated us with genuine kindness, respect, and care. They helped us with every request, arranged all the services we needed, assisted us with our luggage, and paid attention to even the smallest details. They also checked on my wife when she was not feeling well, which showed how thoughtful and caring they truly are. When we left, they surprised us with a beautiful wedding gift. Iluh and Made were amazing! From the moment we arrived they were so welcoming with huge smiles and helping us with our luggage. They were so responsive with any questions we had. We ordered the floating breakfast for our last day, and they were right on time. The food was delicious and so fresh! The room and pool were very clean, we would definitely book here again! Felt very immersive with the local community we couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
I want to thank Lluh for warmly welcoming my significant other&me into their stunning Airbnb residence, where we stayed frm6/11-6/19. Their exceptional service began w/airport pickup, despite the airport being a 2 hour drive away. Upon arrival, they were very welcoming&helpful, especially considering the issues we encountered w/ the ATM taking our debit cards. Lluh helped us settle into our room&had a beautiful bday setup prepared, complete w/flowers & flower bath, which was a lovely surprise. Next morning, we enjoyed a delicious floating breakfast in pool. Lluh help us in planning our stay, recommending&booking various activities beach clubs,waterfalls,Bali swings,massages, tattoos, restaurants, Gate of Heaven, Coi Pond,& the Praying Temple. We appreciated the daily amenities, including fresh bottled water, clean towels, a tidy room. Lluh&her fam showed us love&care, going out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable, even helping us figure out our bank card issues.

The landlord is really nice, the place is spotless, and she even helped us move our luggage. She gave us a little gift when we checked out. She also has two little dogs that are absolutely adorable.
非常开心能够在乌布住在这个villa，住得很舒服，让人特别省心。 1.安全性和私密性 villa在房东的家后面，要进入villa需要经过房东家的院子，所以安全性很高，打扫也是由房东负责，所以不用担心财产安全的问题，房东的院子也打理得很好，villa一面是jungle，一边连接房东的院子，远离道路，非常安静，不会有人从vila的院子经过，只有白噪音～～ 2.早餐非常不错，放心喝冰饮 早餐提前一天跟房东预定，有不同的套餐可供选择，非常丰盛，除了主食，还有果盘，鲜榨果汁和咖啡，我们每天早上喝冰美式和各种鲜榨果汁，没有任何问题，所以可以不用担心水的问题～～强烈推荐松饼！！非常好吃！ 3.villa很漂亮，房间很大 vila院子打理得很好，植物种的很好，超大的鹿角蕨，院子每天都会点线香，味道非常好闻，我们还专门去市场买了同款，早晚躺在泳池旁边的躺椅上喝喝酒、喝喝咖啡也超级舒服，床睡着也很舒服，空调制冷效果也OK～～ 4.省心 可以直接跟房东租摩托车，约包车，不用去找租车行或者中介，租摩托车也不需要押金，很省心，价格也很公道，房东说如果不会骑摩托车，还可以租车+做导游，骑车带你逛乌布～～ 5.服务很好 预约的早餐时间很准时，打扫很及时，老板和她的家人也都非常nice、两只小狗很可爱，能够充分体会到乌布当地人的友好与温暖
非常满意的一次住宿！！环境干净整洁，院子很漂亮。Iluh一家人热情友好细心，两只小狗也特别可爱！！！房东甚至为每个插座配备了转换插头，非常方便。我们预定了漂浮早餐和spa，体验也特别棒！！可惜只订了一个晚上，如果下次再来是话还会订这家民宿。很开心～🩷🩷💕

Luh and her husband were the best host we’ve ever had. They were super sweet people and very welcoming. They picked us up from the airport. Their home was private, safe, and super clean. She was super accommodating and helped us with anything we needed. We recommend this villa to anyone visiting Bali it’s a safe location and close to many places. We stayed here for our honeymoon and she decorated the room and left us a present which she didn’t have to do but did anyways definitely shows that they care for their guests. They also recommended places to visit and things to do even where to eat.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here and genuinely didn’t want to leave. The place itself is beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. Everything was spotless, with daily cleaning that made it feel like a hotel-level experience. The hosts are a truly lovely couple—warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive. Communication was seamless from start to finish, which made the whole stay easy and stress-free. I especially appreciated the little touches: fresh towels and regularly changed bed sheets, complimentary drinks, and all the small details that made the stay feel extra welcoming. The bed was also extremely comfortable, which made it easy to fully relax. On top of that, the location is fantastic with plenty of great food options nearby, so you’ll never run out of places to try. All in all, this was an exceptional stay and we would highly recommend it to anyone. We would happily come back anytime.
We just stay in Ubud for a day. Almost stay in the villa all the day cause it’s so comfortable and beautiful. The host family is so kind and nice people with two cute dogs 🐕 🐶. What a lovely family!

The place itself is absolutely serene and surrounded by nature, offering the perfect peaceful escape. It is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. You can really tell how much attention they put into every detail, from the small touches to the overall upkeep of the property. They even surprised us with a lovely little gift! What made our stay extra special was that they kindly prepared a birthday cake for free to celebrate my husband's birthday 🎂. Not to mention, their dogs are just as friendly and sweet as they are. I will truly miss them! I would highly recommend this place to my family and friends without hesitation, and we will definitely be coming back! 🥰

Every single friend of mine who plans to visit will be hearing about this place! 🗣️✨ The hosts – a lovely couple – are incredibly kind and responsive. They answered every question we had within minutes and genuinely cared about our stay. 🥹💬 The room was spotless, fresh, and smelled absolutely wonderful – no weird odors, just soft, calming fragrance throughout. 🧴🌸 And then… there’s Moka 🐶💕 The cutest, fluffiest, most cuddly dog ever! So friendly and sweet, she made every morning feel warmer. I honestly slept like a baby and had sweet dreams every night – partly thanks to the cozy vibe Moka helped create, I’m sure 😴🌙 Every day we came back to a different towel arrangement – such a charming surprise! And the handwritten note from the hosts? That touched our hearts deeply. 💌

Sometimes you’re fortunate to discover people & locales that live on long after the trip. We experienced that with Iluh & Made and their Villa Capung. They are exceptional people who are warm, caring, and exude joy. Their villa is modern and spa-like in the midst of lush foliage, coconut and guava trees. The private pool, stone tub and more are a perfect setting for romantic, private time. Breakfasts were delicious: Fresh juice, yummy omelets & more. This was true, authentic Bali. We enjoyed their beautiful family and being introduced to Balinese culture. Driving in Bali can be a challenge. Fortunately, Made is an excellent driver! Having his expertise on-site was a great enhancement. Iluh is exquisite, the consummate hostess, interested in seeing that you have the beautiful trip you’d hoped for: Whether for self-renewal, adventurous exploration or whatever your dream of Bali is, it’s her dream to help you achieve it. We were very fortunate to have this amazing stay.

很幸运在乌布入住了Iluh家的villa～Iluh和她的老公Made，人实在是太nice了！！！第一天晚上到民宿的时间有点晚了，差不多凌晨1点钟，但是他们依旧在等我们入住并帮助我们搬运行李。 在跟Iluh的闲聊中，无意间透露了自己喜欢线香，结果第二天打扫房间后发现她给我送了线香的小礼物，简直太sweet！！！ 民宿的早餐和花瓣浴也很漂亮～她家还有两只可爱的小狗，会跟着Iluh 来串门。这里就像他们挂的招牌一样，就像我的“second home”❤️

Great 5th generation Balinese home with a young couple as hosts. Luh and her husband are willing to fulfill any wishes you can think of and the villa and pool space are amazing. Definitely worth the money, don’t hesitate to book this place!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Iluh’s place and it was one of the highlights of our Bali trip. The villa is beautiful, peaceful, and exactly as described — clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect for us: surrounded by greenery and very calm, yet still convenient to explore Ubud and nearby attractions. Waking up here and spending slow mornings at the villa was truly special. Iluh is an exceptional host — warm, kind, and extremely helpful. Communication was smooth from the start, and she helped us with everything from airport pickup to local transport and recommendations. Her support made our stay completely stress-free. We genuinely felt well taken care of and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic Ubud experience.

They were amazing to myself and Neena for her birthday! Definitely exceeded our expectations I can literally cry. This has been one of the most memorable moments of my life and I will definitely do this over and over again. Iluh‘s villa was the best airbnb i have ever booked. Iluh and her husband were incredible hosts, always responsive and always ready to help out, from local recommendations to helping arrange scooter rides, providing whatever amenity needed, cleaning service whenever we asked, delicious breakfast on request, they went above and beyond to make our stay the most amazing time. I stayed there for 9 days with my husband for our honeymoon, and they decorated the place and the bathtub so beautifully. The place was incredibly private, comfortable and clean. My husband and I loved the villa so much we found ourselves hanging out there more and more rather than leaving it to sightsee. The kitchen, bathroom and pool were all amazing. I highly highly recommend this villa if you‘re staying in Ubud.

Our stay was good, and lluh was very helpful all the time. The room was clean and we enjoyed the outdoor swimming with open nature. She also gave us a note and a gift too. We recommend this place if one wants privacy, peace with luxury.

We had a great stay at villa Capung. The location was central and made it easy to get around. The place was very clean, comfortable and looked exactly like the photos. The host was quick to respond and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and reliable place to stay.

Iluh and her husband were the best hosts we could ask for! They offered to pick us up from the airport and when we arrived the place was set up so nice, i fell in love!! We also ordered the floating breakfast around $30AUD it was yummy! Hosts have been amazing and also their little dogs Chokky and Moka :) Thank you for having us, definitely a place to stay at next time in Ubud.
I have been in bali for two weeks , i have been to a couple of airbnb’s but this was the best . The hosts are sooo friendly and they offer you alot of services and won’t mind borrowing you their personal stuffs. Thank you for the great hospitality you made me think about going back to bali again
Este érkeztünk a szállásra, már a kapuban vártak és segítettek bevinni a bőröndöket. Nagyon segítőkészek, kedvesek, barátságosak Iluh és családja. A villa olyan mint a képeken, csendes, elszeparált. Kérdezték mindig mikor jöjjenek takarítani és nagyon szép rendet csináltak. Kértünk reggelit is ami nagyon szép és finom is volt. Jó elhelyezkedésű a villa, mivel 10 perc alatt Ubud központjába lehet érni. Egyik takarítás után meg ajándékoz is kaptunk Iluhéktól. Ha legközelebb Balira jönnénk, biztosan ezt a szállást választanánk és ajánljuk másoknak is.

I don’t even know where to begin! From the moment I made my reservation the communication with the host was fantastic! I was travelling to Bali to celebrate my 50th birthday, which I would be spending with Iluh and her family. They went above and beyond to make my birthday one of the most memorable birthdays I think I will ever have. They helped arrange everything from the pool decoration to hiring a private chef, just to name a few of the things she took care of. And every detail was perfection! Better than I could’ve ever imagined. The space was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The pool was a refreshing welcome after a long day of exploring. I had breakfast at the villa twice and both times it was delicious and very well presented. The spa services also available are very professional and a good value. I cannot recommend this villa enough, this family will go above and beyond to make you feel at home and cared for. THANK YOU!! I will never forget my time with you.
We had an amazing stay at Capung Villa. We booked for 3 nights and felt right at home. Iluh and Mode are wonderful hosts - they took care of everything - from arranging scooter rental, help with early check-in, local recommendations and so much more. The villa is ~4km from the central Ubud market and is very easily accessible on 2 wheeler. It is very well maintained and is exactly similar to the photos. The kitchen has all amenities, pool is clean and large and the bed is very comfortable. overall, a great place to stay in Ubud - will recommend !

Initially, we chose this place because it has a private pool and it's located in Ubud. But after staying here, there are so many great things. Iluh was indeed a great and very responsive host. She would provide everything that we need, respond to every question that we have and a very friendly person. Her husband is a nice man too! Her place is a total jackpot because it's very clean, nice and spacious. Since i'm bringing a baby, my baby managed to sleep really well since it's peaceful. The services listed are as it is, we can even send our clothes for laundry and it eases my mind. I really enjoy staying here and I recommend you this place if you were to visit Ubud.

Staying at this villa was truly the best experience we’ve ever had. Not only was it absolutely beautiful, but Madë and Iluh are the kindest, most selfless people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so safe, comfortable, and cared for. They went above and beyond in every way: arranging rides, booking massages, giving us the best recommendations, picking us up from the airport, and even driving us over two hours to our next destination. Made spent an entire day showing us around and waited with our luggage for hours so my boyfriend could go skating—on his own anniversary with Iluh. That kind of generosity is rare, and we’ll never forget it. The villa itself was stunning, spotless, in the perfect location, with the most comfortable beds. But what truly made it unforgettable was the warmth, kindness, and genuine care we felt every single day. It was so hard to leave such a beautiful place and such amazing people. We will 100% stay here again!
The villa was amazing and was everything you need for a holiday. 10 minute scooter to rice fields / town centre far enough away to really switch off. Iluh and her husband were amazing hosts! Villa Capung was everything we hoped for and more. Surrounded by lush nature and rice fields, it was peaceful, private, and beautifully designed. The villa was spotless, stylish, and had the most stunning pool. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the host was warm, thoughtful, and made everything effortless for us. Close enough to Ubud but far enough for total relaxation. We didn’t want to leave – can’t wait to come back!
We truly enjoyed our Honeymoon stay at Villa Capung! It was exactly as described and was a great serene getaway. We were in their guest house and they treated us as if we were a member of their family. Made was a great tour guide and answered all of our questions learning about their culture. If ever back in Bali, I would choose Villa Capung once again!

We were really more than satisfied and happy with our stay in the villa! The villa was so beautiful and everything was very clean and well maintained. It was exactly as described. We felt very comfortable right from the start as we were warmly welcomed by Iluh and her family. Also the contact with Iluh was always great as she was always available, kind and flexible. The location is also very good, the area is quiet and the „city“ is only 5-10 minutes away by car/scooter. We would definitely stay here again. I can only recommend it! 🙏🏻❤️

Simply our best Airbnb experience If you’re looking to stay near Ubud, I’d say Villa Capung is a must 🙏🏻 We were genuinely so sad to leave and we haven’t stopped talking about it since 🥹 The villa is stunning, decorated with taste and feels very intimate. We were welcomed with fresh flowers everywhere in the villa from Iluh’s garden 🌺 Everything was squeaky clean and smelt good. But the best part for us was our host, Iluh 🧡 She welcomed us with warmth and always had the prettiest smile on. She really made our stay more special than it already was thanks to her great attention to detail and her hospitality. We really liked that the villa is actually located at the back of her family’s beautiful garden and we appreciated saying hello to them (and to the puppies!) everytime we crossed the garden and their family home. The homemade breakfast was so fresh and delicious, especially the Nasi Goreng which is honestly the best I’ve had in Bali (and I tried many!) Thank you Iluh ❤️

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Iluh and her beautiful family were so welcoming, helpful and kind. One of the best hidden gems in Ubud for honeymooners! From the airport pickup with a warm welcome from Lluh and Made, everything felt smooth and personal. The villa was even better than the photos beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for our honeymoon. Though it rained most days, Made gave us a fantastic tour, knowing the best times and routes to avoid traffic and crowds. He’s an incredibly safe and calm driver. Breakfast in bed was a daily highlight, and the area has plenty of great restaurants nearby. Even when I felt a bit under the weather, they took such great care of me and wife it honestly felt like home. Huge thanks to Lluh and Made. We can’t wait to return! ❤️

Beautiful spot to come back and relax when you return back from site seeing. so friendly and helpful. kind and always smiling ready to help at any moment. it was magical being apart of their family home to see traditions & culture but also have you own separate private villa in amongst the jungle. close to food and shops. scooters to hire from their home. Made always ready to take us anywhere we needed to go. Grandparents at the villa also very friendly and welcoming 🙏 10/10 stay was my favorite in bali.
We had the most amazing stay at Iluh’s place! Her and her family are all incredibly kind and went above and beyond every day to make us feel comfortable and at-home, including welcome drinks (fresh coconuts from their garden) and little gifts/notes. The place looks just like the pictures and was spotless + cleaned each day. It’s in an ideal location, away from the busyness of Ubud’s center, but still close to plenty of restaurants/shops. Couldn’t recommend enough!
Staying at this villa was one of the highlights of our Bali trip! Iluh and Made treated us like family from the moment we arrived, greeting us with fresh coconuts and the kindest smiles. Even the grandma and grandpa would sweetly wish us good morning and good night each day. Breakfasts were a dream – fluffy banana pancakes, tasty fried rice and noodles, always served with fresh fruit and juice. Iluh’s son and their adorable dogs, Mocha and Chocky, often joined her, which made it even more special. The villa itself was stunning – peaceful jungle views, a clean and deep pool, a mosquito net for stress-free sleep, and a spotless kitchen perfect for cooking. Iluh cleaned daily, even folded our clothes and surprised us with gifts and a note. This stay was unforgettable – not just because of the villa, but because of the warmth, care, and kindness of our amazing hosts. We’ll definitely be back!
Our stay at Villa Capung Ubud was a true Balinese dream! The villa itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed with traditional touches. We loved the private pool overlooking the jungle. It felt like a hidden sanctuary. The staff’s warmth was unforgettable they made us feel like family. 1.8km drive to Ubud Palace & Market, yet peacefully removed from crowds. Highly recommend Villa Capung Ubud for an authentic, rejuvenating escape. We’ll definitely return to this.
Iluh and her family are very friendly hosts. She communicates very well with us throughout the entire process, always checking in to make sure we have what we need. we have an amazing stay at this place. The vila is very beautifull and clean and luxury as well. The host and her family are very kind and helpfull. I have a problem and they bring me medication and they are always there to help us. Also the vila and the garden is very peacefull. The villa was beautiful, clean, and conveniently located near Ubud Market. We had a lovely time exploring the neighborhood, local markets, and nearby restaurants. It’s a great place to stay if you want to be close to the main market but still enjoy some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. Iluh and her family’s hospitality was outstanding. She was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our stay feel very personal. She even had her husband climb a coconut tree to get us fresh coconuts—such a thoughtful gesture! We’ll definitely be staying at this villa again the next time we visit.

Wat een prachtige locatie met een adembenemend uitzicht! De villa is niet alleen ontzettend mooi, maar ook super schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wat deze plek écht bijzonder maakt, zijn de hosts – zó lief, gastvrij en meedenkend. Dit zijn zonder twijfel de liefste hosts die we ooit zijn tegengekomen. We voelden ons meteen helemaal thuis en hebben een geweldige tijd gehad. Deze locatie is echt een aanrader Heel erg bedankt voor jullie warme ontvangst en gastvrijheid. Wow, what an amazing experience! Iluh and Made were absolutely fantastic hosts - nothing was ever too much, they made us feel very welcome, were incredibly friendly and delightful to be around. We will miss you guys and little Moka 🐶 very much!! The place itself was beautiful, private, extremely clean and exactly like the photos. The amenities were fantastic - the pool and kitchen area were lovely and we even enjoyed a drink with our lovely hosts on our last evening. Hopefully we get the chance to come back again in the future. We highly recommend this place!

It was such a beautiful hotel! Iluh was incredibly kind, and her family gave us such a warm welcome. The place looked just like the photos—absolutely lovely. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night because it was fully booked, but it was such a charming and cozy space. If you’re planning to stay in a beautiful villa in Ubud, I highly recommend this one!
Where do I begin!! Lluh and her husband made my birthday extremely special!! This pictures do not do this place justice!! The villa was breath taking! Lluh picked me and my sister up from the airport at different times we both had flower baths upon arrival. She decorated my bed every day and cleaned the villa everyday I can be a messy traveler she organized my things for me lol. On my actual birthday she surprised me with a cake and flowers decorated my pool and had breakfast waiting for me. Anytime I needed anything she or her husband was available. The accommodations were out of this world. Her husband took me and my sister any where we needed to go! The villa is located close to everything which was such a plus! Lluh truly treated me and my sister like family we were so sad to go! If you are considering this villa consider no more and BOOK! I will be back no doubt about it! Thank you again Lluh for everything you made my birthday one for the books!!
Illuh has been so responsive from the moment we booked our stay! From clear guidelines to help with local recommendations, she and Made have treated us like family from the moment we arrived. The villa is lush and private, nestled at the back of the family home with its own entrance. Breakfast felt like hotel breakfast, and Illuh ensured we had enough of whatever we needed. Daily deep villa cleaning was provided and that was so helpful since we traveled with a toddler. She even went the extra mile to change our linen three times over when we had accidents. We requested laundry services, an in house massage and a mineral water can and it was all setup on arrival. Bathroom was thoughtfully equipped and the room was spacious, bed super comfy! We celebrated the agoh agoh festival and Nyepi with Illuh and Made and their family and we were loved on just like relatives. My son loved playing with them, their dog and child - we’d love to stay here again Sukhsama my dear friends! See you soon!
I absolutely loved the place and owners are so sweet and helpful. Full privacy , with amazing jungle view , private pool - felt incredible. Floating breakfast , rented a bike , got a massage to our Villa - everything is provided at your convenience at a charge but to be honest charge is very fair and affordable and same as outside. I would recommend to everyone!

We had an excellent stay at Villa Capung Ubud. It's very well located, not very far from the Ubud Central yet away from the hustle, surrounded by lush greenery all around. The villa is very well maintained & aesthetically furnished. The out door kitchen space was of great use to us. The host and her family was very kind & welcoming. They always went out of their way to help us as we were travelling with two infants. We had a very good time & a very relaxing stay here, felt nice to connect with someone local, who were very warm & gracious. The kids too loved being amidst the nature.

Our stay at Villa Capung was beyond amazing. The villa itself is beautiful, with lush gardens and plenty of privacy. It’s in a perfect location, close to Ubud’s centre but still peaceful. The hospitality of Iluh and Made was always above and beyond. The breakfast they prepared was delicious, the room was cleaned everyday to perfection and they arranged a scooter for us the entire time, making it easy to get around. Iluh and Made were very friendly and happy to share their culture. They were easy to talk to, and it felt like we were part of the community. Overall, Villa Capung offers the authentic Bali experience and is an obvious choice for anyone visiting Ubud.

The villa was amazing as showed in pictures. It’s super clean and beautiful with all the amenities listed. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful with all the needs. The hosts were amazing helped with anything we needed. Can order breakfast and in room massages. They picked us up from the airport made it very easy stopped on the way to get things we needed along the way. The hosts were very easy to talk to and get things as we needed the space was beautiful and quiet. They cleaned the room every day. Was a great stay would highly recommend to anyone.

Even the road leading to the villa was a beautiful and authentic experience, making the journey feel like a part of the adventure. She was always available 24/7, responding quickly, clearly, and professionally. From the moment of booking to the day of departure, everything was perfectly organized. Out of the four villas we stayed at in Bali, Iluh's place was my favorite. It looked exactly like the pictures—unlike other listings that use tricky lighting, angles, or post-processing. Finding the villa on our own wasn’t the easiest, but thankfully, Iluh was there to meet us and guided us from a nearby warung. The villa was perfect for a relaxing stay—soaking in the bath, watching shows, and swimming in the pool. The next morning, we had breakfast before heading out early for a day tour that Iluh kindly arranged for us. I wish we could have stayed longer—the place was truly comfortable, and Iluh and her family were very kind and easy to communicate with!
Lluh and family were super friendly! They were so helpful and didnt make us feel like out cast or burdens for all the questions/concerns we had. Such a lovely family they treated us like their own truly enjoyed being at their company and cannot wait to be back again in future ! Lluh made sure villa was always spotless and accomdations were always met ! Cannot recommend this villa enough !

We can’t say enough for this amazing stay we had in Villa Capung! Amazing location with easy drive to Ubud , but very secluded and peaceful. This is very important as Ubud town is very active and crowded. We stayed for 10 nights and we really enjoyed every minute. We couldn’t ask for more. Hosts were extremely attentive and ready to assist. They even offered to take us to local temple festivities and explain all around. Very unique experience! Spacious room, spacious outdoor space with view to the jungle. Photos does not make just for the reality which is a dream. Thank you so much to Iluh and her husband for the wonderful hosting experience.
Super friendly host, very responsive and thoughtful about our needs. Very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. I would absolutely stay here again. They helped us arrange a scooter so we were ready to go from the moment we arrived since Ubud is quite spread out. They were also nice enough to allow us early check-in since it didn't overlap with other guests. They cleaned the place while we were away and also left us a thoughtful note and small gift. I also forgot my Kindle while I was there and they helped arrange it to be dropped off with a friend who was traveling to Ubud on a later date.
Iluh, and her family are the sweetest people we met here in Bali. She is super responsive, friendly, and helpful. Nothing was too much for Iluh, you can literally ask her anything! Her place is super well located, since it’s only a 15 minute drive by motorbike getting into Ubud centre, and a 15 minute drive by motorbike to the rice fields. The motorbike can be rented from her as well, which is super convenient. The neighborhood is super quiet, and peaceful. Iluh, and her family are also very respectful. They will ring the doorbell when they are in front of your private villa. If we were to go back to Ubud, we would definitely book Iluh’s place again! Thank you so much Iluh for everything during our stay :)

Sometimes when booking you’re not always guaranteed that the place would look the same but this gem of a place was exactly as described. I felt like I was in a tranquil sanctuary, with all the wonderful amenities while surrounded by nature. Hosts are such an incredible people. I’ve never stayed at a place where I was provided such top notch service and that includes staying at some of the high end hotels all over the world. Also, if you need to go somewhere or need suggestion for best sightseeings or restaurants you are covered. Wow, I can Not wait to go back!!! 10 stars

Easy check-in, memorable stay, great host. Iluh and Made were literally looked after us. They organized all of our bali's bucket list. Tour, taxi, activities, they were made our stay much more easy than staying in good stars hotels. Love the vibe, a truly bali's hospitality. The place was perfectly clean, all amenities are provided, pristine kitchen, modern and spotless bathroom, some lokal restaurants nearby. 10 minutes to ubud center and easy drive whitin scooter/car. Highly recommend this beautiful authentic Balinese villa owned by Capung and Iluh! Hosts: Kind, friendly and professional. Always willing to help and provide assistance on any questions or requests we have. Their only goal is to make sure you have a great stay and go back with wonderful memories. Property: The property is spectacular. They named it the ‘Second Home’ and I have to agree 100%. The property is covered with a variety of local plants which are a delight to look at! We stayed in the honeymoon suite which has a beautiful pool, a green paradise of a view, a functioning kitchen and an amazing bed! Stay/Services : We stayed for 5 nights and man-o-man the service was fantastic! Highlights: The pool, the floating breakfast, everyday variety of towel arrangements, adorable sticker notes they leave us with, tropical fruit basket which makes breakfast exciting, fresh bubble baths with flowers. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Capung in Ubud, Bali! Luh and Made treated us like family from the moment we arrived. We also loved the tour options they offered. Made was an incredible guide, taking us to the best sites and being so accommodating to our needs. On top of that, we felt very safe and enjoyed the privacy the villa provided—it was the perfect balance of comfort and tranquility. Beautiful villa that is very clean And newly built. Amazing pool view and private. Great owners to work with. It was nicer than other villas, very spacious and it was a good value. It didn’t have problems with mosquitoes inside the unit, like other properties. Beautiful decorations and the host are amazing. People that will help you with anything. The host will even take you on tours around the island. I highly recommend this villa and we’ll go back to it again.
Iluh’s villa and her service exceeded our expectations. We actually stayed there for 9 nights and then moved on to two other airbnbs and one hotel resort and this villa and service is by far the best we have received. Iluh & Made prepared us a healthy and delicious breakfast every single morning at our desired time. Made took us on many tours and drove us anywhere we wanted to go at anytime. The amenities are true top tier and in person was even better than the pics. We have been greatly disappointed at the other places we stayed and perhaps that because we started with Iluh and Made who treated us like family and kept our space pristine and beautiful, always going above and beyond. We loved getting to stay at a local Balinese family villa. There’s some great walkable locations. And when we wanted the hustle and bustle of the city, it was a short 15 min ride from Made. We will be back to this villa for our next trip to Bali. Thank you Iluh and Made, we feel so blessed to know you 🙏
