Exploring Villa Shalimar beach front in Amed left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.
The virtual preview of Villa Shalimar beach front in Amed was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Abang plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.
I found the tour for Villa Shalimar beach front in Amed painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.
The service was impeccable and especially the breakfast. Our major complaints were somethings we very run down especially by the pool with very rusty poles and not enough shade umbrellas. The TV room had no coffee table to place drinks or food on and the couch was so uncomfortable and of poor quality that it was hard to sit on. However, the biggest reason we would not stay again or reccomend is that there were 4 or 5 wild dogs living in an empty lot next door and the barked through out the night and early morning. The bathroom had no AC so the open windows let the barking come right in and the AC barley worked well enough to keep it cool let alone drown out the dog noise. We left a day early despite this being the most expensive home out of the 3 we stayed at on our trip. Again, the staff was fantastic but for the money it just was no where worth it unless they invest some money I to fixing the problems!

Так же на территории есть замечательный бассейн и различное оборудования для океана: от масок до каяка и sup серфа. Из недостатков: в помещениях виллы просто нулевая шумоизоляция. Она совсем отсутствует из-за неплотного прилегания дверей и отверстиях в окнах для проветривания, которые невозможно закрыть. На улице рядом с виллой живет стая собак, которая лает по ночам и не дает выспаться. Так же очен навязчиво слышно шум волн, особенно когда поднимается ветер. Из-за этого нашей компании не удалось выспаться ни в одну ночь, поэтому мы не можем рекомендовать данную виллу для проживания.
The pictures of this place do not do it justice. It’s absolutely incredible. The staff are amazing. They do everything to make your stay wonderful. They are so nice. The food is incredible, the crashing waves are so peaceful and the house is immaculately clean. We took restaurant recommendations and they set up a driver for us several times which was very cheap and so convenient. Book this place ! I hope I make it back. Thank you so much for making our stay so incredible!
We had the best stay at Villa Shalimar and would come again and again. It is located perfectly, in a quiet road, next to the beach, and down the road there are a couple of nice restaurants and cafes that you can enjoy. The villa has snorcheling/kayak/ stand up paddle equipment which we used happily. The staff is exceptional. Great cook, very clean, super easy communication- they make your visit super pleasant and think ahead!

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Our family had a great time and hope to be back soon. All of the villa staff were very accommodating and helped us with all of our needs. They organised a massage therapist, laundry and driver for us when needed. Nengah was absolutely beautiful and we will miss her! 🙏🏼💗

Absolutely incredible stay in Amed! This villa was honestly the best place we have ever rented.Everything was perfect: the villa is beautiful, extremely comfortable, peaceful, spotless, and even better than in the photos. The location is also ideal for enjoying Amed while still having a quiet and relaxing place to come back to.The pool is huge too and there is a lot of stuff provided. Wayan, our host, was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly helpful, responsive and kind throughout our entire stay, always ready to help with anything we needed or give us advice. He really made everything easy for us. The villa staff were also wonderful — genuinely lovely, warm and attentive people who made us feel very welcome every day. You can really feel that everyone cares about making your stay special. We stayed in several beautiful places during our trip to Bali, but this villa was definitely our favorite. We would come back without hesitation and recommend it 100%. An unforgettable stay!

Where do I even start? My family has stayed at around 50 Airbnbs in over 20 countries and this one is our #1. The house was incredible, the staff was absolutely phenomenal, and our stay was amazing. Nengah and the entire staff were on top of everything! They prepared amazing breakfasts and even prepared a delicious dinner for us with fish my husband and son caught during their fishing excursion (picked up from Property at beach). The house was very clean with great restaurants nearby. Wayan was fantastic at communication from from start to finish. The pool was lovely overlooking the beach. So nice to be able to access the beach directly from yard to paddle board and kayak. We were so sad to leave-everyone was amazing. The location was so peaceful and relaxing. I have already told friends and family about this and would highly recommend to book this if you can. I have every intention of returning to this property when I return to Bali. Don’t miss out on this Airbnb- it truly was idyllic
Vi har reist mye, men dette er uten tvil et av de mest fantastiske stedene vi noen gang har bodd. Etter ni dager var det oppriktig vanskelig å reise videre. Å våkne til lyden av bølgene, nyte morgenkaffen i hammocken med utsikt over havet og bare senke skuldrene hver dag var helt magisk. Villaen er vakrere enn bildene, romslig, gjennomført og har alt man kan ønske seg. Men det som virkelig gjør dette stedet helt unikt, er personalet. De tok vare på oss fra morgen til kveld med en varme og omtanke vi sjelden har opplevd. De holdt villaen plettfri, serverte fantastisk mat og overrasket oss til og med med en uforglemmelig bursdagsfeiring. Dette er et ekte lite paradis og høydepunktet på Bali-reisen vår. Hvis du vurderer å bo her – ikke nøl. Vi håper allerede å få komme tilbake.
Wow this villa was the best place we’ve ever stayed. It’s in the most beautiful setting overlooking a quiet beach and the ocean. The hosts are so lovely and so helpful with anything you need or want to book. We had a boat driver pick us up from in front of the property to take us snorkelling, massages in the villa, amazing floating breakfasts, games to play, so many amazing areas to relax and a beautiful sunrise you could watch from bed everyday as well as a sunset over the volcano. There’s a great coffee shop nearby you can walk to in 5 minutes and about 15 mins to amed down the beach. What an amazing please I will be back and stay longer next time it was so hard to leave! Thank you everyone for the best stay ever.
What a fantastic stay! This was the first trip we had organised with our kids and their partners and what an experience... Wayan, Nengah and the team went above and beyond to make our trip a very special one!
WOW! What an amazing Villa, absolutely stunning & beautiful location right on the beach. Villa was very well equipped with everything you could need from cooking essentials to bicycles, kayak, snorkelling gear, fishing rod etc. Breakfast provided every morning was so delicious. Our welcome was so lovely too, with the flower arrangement, welcome drinks & food. We were blown away!!! I can’t wait to stay again in the Villa & see Wayan & her team. Everything was perfect!!!

The entire experience was a 10 out 10! My husband and 3 children stayed for 5 nights and loved every moment. The home is beautiful and spacious with incredible views. The neighborhood was great. The staff at the home were amazing! They treated us like family and the food they cooked for us was perfect. We will definitely be coming back! 5 stars!

This place was absolutely incredible. They provided everything we could possibly need, and the staff was truly phenomenal throughout our stay. The pool was outstanding, the beach was beautiful, and the hosts went above and beyond to make the experience special. They organized several activities for us, including taking us fishing and even cooking the fish we caught afterward. The complimentary breakfast was also exceptional each morning. The only minor issue we experienced was related to privacy. While the staff was extremely kind and attentive, there were a few occasions where they entered or stopped by without advance notice, even after we had requested a bit more privacy. This seemed to come more from a desire to be highly accommodating than anything negative, and the staff themselves were wonderful. It simply felt as though they may have been instructed to be very hands-on with guest service. Overall, this was an amazing stay and we can't recommend it enough!

Nengah and the team really looked after us at this beautiful villa. The pool is lovely. Nice quiet area with a few decent restaurants close by and easy enough to walk to town if you want something livelier. There’s small a pathway just past Suzie’s cafe that saves having to walk all the way up the road and down the main road to town. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you!
Amazing location and best sunrise views
this villa had an amazing view! most friendly staff who accomodated all of our needs including honeymoon decorations, massages and private sunset boat ride. The host even arranged breakfast to go on the morning we left for the airport at 5am. several restaurants nearby and direct access on to the beach which has stunning sunrise view and second floor has a great view of mount agung.

A big thank you to Nengah and colleagues for their always thoughtful, generous and discreet support throughout our stay. We also really appreciated their flexibility. One day for example, we went on a morning snorkelling trip and they very kindly offered to serve us breakfast - which was always plentiful - at noon. The view of the sea on the one side of the villa is beautiful and the sight of Gunung Agung, the holy volcano, on the other side is truly sublime, always changing with the clouds and time of day. The villa is so spacious and clean in a quiet part of Amed, nevertheless with easy access to some good restaurants/warungs. It was also possible to order food for delivery. Matur suksma for looking after us so wonderfully!
We went to Villa Shalimar to relax over spring break and that is exactly what we did. It was beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We also went diving a few days and loved what we saw in the area. Wayan and the staff are what made this villa so special. The breakfast every morning was delicious and the fruit was so fresh. The staff was extremely kind and willing to help us with so many requests, including a small medical issue we had, which saved our vacation. We can’t wait to go back and spend another relaxing week at Villa Shalimar and with the crew! This has been the best vacation of our lives!

Wayan and the staff were AWSOME! It was the perfect place for our family to spend time together.
We really loved our stay here. We traveled with six people and an infant, and the place worked very well for our group. One of the best parts was the large breakfast served every morning. It was very convenient because we didn’t have to spend time searching for food first thing in the morning, and it made the start of the day very relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, and there are several restaurants within walking distance for dinner, which made things easy in the evenings. The massages were also extremely affordable, and they even arranged for a therapist to come to the property. The therapists were amazing, and it was such a relaxing experience. Overall, it’s a great place for families and groups, and we would definitely stay here again. The only thing to note is that the area is quieter and doesn’t have a lot of activities. There is snorkeling and fishing available, but it’s not as busy or activity-filled as places like Uluwatu.

We wanted a large accommodation for our family vacation, and at the same time had spaces where everyone could also do their own thing. This villa allowed that and more. A big sprawling place with a lovely pool and a beautiful unblocked view of the black sand beach. I enjoyed listening to the waves rolling in through the day, which served as my lullaby at bedtime. Bedrooms were huge and the beds very comfortable. Open spaces on both levels allowed our family to just wile time away chatting or just lounging. A special shout out to Nengah, an amazing chef, who cooked our breakfasts and also dinners when we chose to eat in. The 3 nights here passed too quickly and left us wanting more. I am sure we will return soon enough.

Great place to stay (grandpa and grandma with son, daughter in law and 2 grandchildren 4/6), Nengah (sister of Wayan) and team took very good care of us. A very nice breakfast was served by the team and you can opt to have them prepare dinner. We spent 7 days at the house and rented a car to get around, well worth it A few suggestions, Bedside lamps i.s.o. bright lights from the ceiling are a bit more intimate. This is one of the best places we’ve stayed at. Firstly the villa was amazing, lovely rooms, great bedrooms and living spaces, the outdoor area was fantastic with beautiful views and every facility. Secondly, Nengha and her team who looked after us were really outstanding in every way. We were so sorry to leave and would highly recommend this property. Mooie, ruime en schone kamers en bakkamers. Sfeervol ingericht. Fijn zwembad. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en wilde het ons naar de zin maken. Dat is goed gelukt. De dame die de leiding had, heeft op ons verzoek veel (goed) geregeld, excursies, taxi’s e.d.

Our stay at Villa Shalimar was by far the best Airbnb experience we ever had. I can't recommend staying there, enough! The location is perfect, with an exquisite view of the ocean. Every room is tastefully decorated and the en-suite bathrooms and amenities super luxurious. and the whole villa smelled amazing. Stand-up-paddle-boards, a kayak, life jackets, masks and snorkels are also available. Breakfast served every morning is better than any other restaurant-breakfast with a load of options to choose from. All staff-members are super kind and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure a great stay (arranging scooters, drivers, fishing-tours, having laundry done, even a Christmas tree and Christmas hat for the whole family. They also received a very thoughtful farewell gift at the end of our stay) Nengah is an amazing host. To her and her team, thank you for making this stay absolutely perfect!
We left a piece of our hearts at Villa Shallimar. From the service of Wayan, Nengah, Agus and their teams, we felt incredibly welcome in Bali. Traveling with my husband and mother in law. The house was out of this world, beds super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and unique each day. They helped by doing our laundry, so nice and fresh. They cleaned each day the property and our rooms. We felt beyond safe there. The dogs that live behind the house at the dive center never bothered us, we love dogs and the barking acted as a security alarm, haha! They felt protective of us. I’m going to run out of room on this review but I truly cannot recommend this team enough, Wayan, and Villa Shallimar. They even gave us some. incredible gifts at the end of our triip. Nengah was the sweetest and my husband said Agus was his homie. The paddleboarding, snorkeling, swimming, and bike riding were my favorite activities around the house, and the sunsets oh my gosh! Villa Shallimar is heaven on earth
We stayed here for a few days and they provided the best service I’ve ever experienced—massage, food, laundry, and more. The pool is always heated, very comfortable, and fully equipped with all kinds of water-play gear.
We stayed here for five nights as part of our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place in Amed. Food was never a problem. The amazing breakfast every morning, many healthy options for lunch and dinner close by (we ordered from good stuff many times). What made this place truly special was the people. Nengah and her staff took such great care of us. They are so friendly, and warm. A special shout out to Agus, the driver. He was friendly, professional, and most importantly, fun!! Let him take you on an amazing adventure or two.

The view was absolutely breathtaking - the majestic volcano on one side and the sparkling ocean on the other. Every detail of the villa was just perfect, from the beautiful design to the relaxing atmosphere.😍 The breakfast was delicious, more like something from a top restaurant than a hotel - every morning was a treat!🫶🥹 A huge thank you to Nengah and the entire team for their incredible service and kindness. Absolutely beautiful!! The property is even more amazing in person than the photos and the staff were so great. They felt like family by the end. Very friendly, happy, helpful , kind and respectful. Nengah was always available for anything we needed, with a smile! Melly was such a happy person to have around. The boys, Edo and Dana also great! And our driver Agus was awesome!! Took us on a full day tour of sightseeing with dinner at the end. We were completely spoiled by this staff! It’s a little remote there but enough nice restaurants nearby within walking distance. We are going to miss waking up to the beautiful views and amazing daily breakfasts cooked and presented to us each morning with style. Highly recommend!! Thank you Nengah, Melly, Edo, Dana and Agus for everything!! 💕 The host Wayan was also great through the booking process!!
If you ever think of a dreamy beach house then Villa Shalimar is what you are looking for if you are in Bali. really big house, spacious rooms all with sea view. the house is fully stocked with everything you need; bathroom amenities, kitchen with everything you need to cook as well as chargeable beverages items in the fridge (like any hotel) and even snorkeling gear board games. breakfast was super delicious. on top of all that, Wayan and her team were super friendly and communication was very smooth. they made sure we were fine throughout the stay plus there is daily housekeeping. definitely staying here again.
Absolutely loved our stay here! Amed was our favourite part of our trip, and we liked that this particular villa was slightly out of the way of the main strip, it felt secluded. We had rented scooters through the villa for the duration of our stay and so had no issues getting around. We were five people including two couples, the villa was very clean and spacious, with considered amenities and extras throughout, and the pool/outdoor area is stunning. The included breakfast was generous and delicious, and we loved using the paddle board/kayaks to go explore the beach out the back. The staff were lovely, responsive, and can help you arrange many things. They came to do maintenance during the day on the property but would equally give you privacy. Would easily recommend this villa to my friends.

My family and I had an absolutely amazing stay! Every morning we were awoken to the sound of peaceful lapping waves and the view only the infinity pool and ocean. It was a dream. Nengah and her team made us delicious a la carts breakfast every morning, either traditional Balinese style or pancakes, fruit or eggs. If we need extra cars or tours, Wayan was always a quick message away and full of friendly recommendations and support. We did a day trip to see local sites as well as a local cooking class and both were fantastic. In the evenings, we either ordered food from Nengah, the wonderful chef, to have in the villa or we ate out. Everything was very easy and delicious. The team also cleaned the rooms and house every morning, and were very discreet and friendly the whole time. We felt extremely well looked after. Thank you to everyone, we would highly recommend this villa to anyone and would love to come again. And don’t forget there incredible snorkelling just on your doorstep!

The villa is absolutely incredible, amazing views of the sea, right on the beach and lots of space for 6 people to enjoy. The attention to detail is great and the team really do cater to everything you may need. They can’t do enough for you and nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfasts are lovely and offer plenty of options. The massages arranged in the villa were also to a high standard and very reasonably priced. There are a few places to walk to for dinner etc but I would say the area is more geared towards the lunch/brunch crowd than dinner. Not a problem for us. Amed is very chilled and certainly has way less traffic than the rest of Bali. A welcome relief for us, especially if you are coming from the cities. You need to hire a bike or taxi to get around as there aren’t any grab taxis available in this part of Bali. Again the team on site are very keen to help you with this. We visited Blue Earth to attend a yoga class, that was excellent. Loved the place!
Beautiful house, super clean and comfortable, beautiful furnishings and high standards all across. Kind and attentive staff, super amazing breakfast with lots of choice! Great beach for swimming and walking along. Really nice cafe a few minutes walk (OM Karma). Very highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Shalimar. It is a beautiful location with gentle waves adding to the peaceful surroundings. Our host is superb in care and attention, everything made easy for us. The hospitality of Ni Wayan and her team is unmatched and their presence made us feel welcome as well as safe. The views are splendid, and the infinity pool is right on the beach, which is almost secluded except for a fisherman or two. This is our second time visiting and I good it will be repeated in future!

From the moment we arrived, we were met with genuine warmth and professionalism from Wayan and her absolutely wonderful team. Everyone was incredibly kind, skilled, and discreet — the perfect balance of attentiveness and privacy. Each morning, the staff came quietly and efficiently to prepare a delicious breakfast, clean the villa, and make sure everything was perfect — In the late afternoon, they returned around 5 PM to water the garden, take the next day’s breakfast order, and assist with anything else we needed. Their presence was always calm and respectful, making everything feel seamless and natural. The villa and pool area itself is stunning —spacious, beautifully furnished, spotless, and surrounded by lush greenery. It feels like your own private luxury retreats! We give our highest recommendation☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
My family and I stayed a week at Villa Shalimar and we loved it! The villa is amazing, the view is amazing and the staff is amazing. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast, the big pool, the ocean right outside the property and the view of Mount Agung. We already dream about coming back.

AMAZING! There is a reason this is in the top 10% of stays on Airbnb. The staff is incredible, home is awesome, location is so great for scuba and relaxing. We slept great and I would LOVE to have the opportunity to come again. Incredible!!!!!!
if i could give the Airbnb 10/10 stars i would…it is literally heaven not only does it have an amazing beachfront view but the staff here are just angels they made sure our stay was amazing with cleaning the rooms / replacing towels whenever we needed, to providing an amazing breakfast every morning no matter what time we were getting up ( there was even one time we had to get up at 4 am ) our driver assigned to us by wayan was agus and agus was one of the main reasons our stay was incredible not only did he drive us wherever we wanted no matter how far but also helped plan some of our days by recommending many restaurants and places to go for entertainment. he also made sure to walk us in any establishment to make sure we got our tickets if it was something for entertainment or making sure we got in fine if we were going to eat overall this was an unforgettable place and i would recommend anyone who is coming to bali to stay here it’s worth every penny you’ll spend

This place is paradise. You hear the crashing of waves day and night, haven’t slept that well in a long time! Close to nice little restaurants, quick drive into Amed and to diving Centers and more restaurants. The kindest and most helpful staff making you an amazing breakfast in the morning, and Wayan always available to answer any questions you may have. We were here with a teenager and a young adult and everyone loved it. Just perfect!

Équipement de la villa plus que complet: masques, tubas, paddles, kayak. Petits déjeuners excellents et variés. Repas du soir préparés à la demande et d'un excellent rapport qualité prix. Le personnel de la Villa est discret et très professionel. Nous recommandons à 200% la Villa Shalimar.
The whole week was perfect. From the moment we were picked up from the airport to the minute we were dropped at our next location in Sanur our stay was everything we could have asked for. The staff were so friendly, attentive without being at all in the way, and the service they provided was exceptional. We used the Driver, Agus, for a few trips and a day out and he was really helpful and always had a smile on his face. The food at the Villa was amazing and great value with a wide range of choices. The fresh fruit every morning was something to look forward to when we woke up in the beautiful surroundings. Overall we couldn’t have asked for anything more and would 100% recommended staying here to anyone, whether you want a totally relaxing time, or want to venture out and see the surroundings. A 10 out of 10 all round experience.

Tolle Villa mit sehr freundlichem Personal, man hat sich rundum wohlgefühlt. Jedes Frühstück wurde individuell zubereitet und zusätzliche Leistungen wie Ausflüge und Shuttle Service wurden angeboten. Wie bereits von vielen Gästen erwähnt, kann das Hundegebell trotz bereitgestellten Ohrstöpsel. störend sein. Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft buchen. Gruß Katja und Bernd

Absolutely stunning waterfront property which was clean and well looked after. The staff were polite and attentive and the supplied breakfast was very good. The fridge full of snacks and drinks was welcome. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Amed.

5/5 stars! Villa Shalimar is absolute paradise. The location is unreal – right on a black sand beach with a view of the ocean and Mt. Agung that’ll make your jaw drop. The villa itself is super stylish, spacious, and totally private. You feel like you're in a luxury retreat, but with the comfort of home. The infinity pool facing the ocean is a total highlight, and Wayan and the staff are incredibly friendly, always ready with a smile (and a great suggestion for what to do next). Breakfast with that view? Unbeatable. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with a touch of adventure (hello paddleboarding), this place is perfect. Definitely recommend for a romantic escape or just a super chill vacation.

Als wir vom Hochseefischen Thunfisch und Mahi Mahi mitgebracht haben, haben sie sich um ein tolles Menü gekümmert. Wir mussten uns um nichts kümmern. Wir haben eine wundervolle Zeit verbracht. 100%ige Empfehlung unsererseits!

Wow, wow and wow. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, we were amazed at every aspect of Villa Shalimar. The absolutely picture-perfect setting, the pristine condition of the villa and all its amenities, the food and service by all the lovely staff - everything made a perfect holiday. The actual villa is more beautiful than the photos depict and if I can give 10 stars, I would! Every room is beautiful and the staff keep it that way with care. The villa even comes with its own kayak and you can kayak right off the beach in front of the villa. If you are hesitating because it seems far from the airport- don't. It is precisely this distance that delivers to you, this wonderful, rare spot of old, untouched Bali, far from the touristy bars and clubs, where neat terraced padi fields sit against green slopes and if the weather favours you, the clear peak of majestic Mt Agung sits against a bright blue sky.
6 of us just thoroughly enjoyed two weeks at Villa Shalimar. From the time of our arrival to the time of our departure, the staff were warm and welcoming, professional, and hardworking. The breakfasts were outstanding as were the many dinners we enjoyed at the villa. All communication was responded to in a timely manner and questions, services, and needs were most satisfactorily addressed. The villa and the views are spectacular. Three couples for three rooms and we all felt we would each choose the same room again - beautifully appointed. Highly recommend this Airbnb.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality by the incredible staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The rooms at Shalimar were immaculate, full of natural light, and designed to create a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Each morning, we enjoyed a gorgeous breakfast that not only delighted our taste buds but also set the perfect tone for the day. One of the standout aspects was our driver, who took us everywhere on the island, offering insights and making sure we experienced Bali in the best way possible. And the food—wow! Best Villa we have ever stayed in Bali. The view is amazing from both sides (the beach and the volcano). We were met by Wayan and her team when we arrived. They took care of everything. Daily breakfast were great. They organised in house massages when we requested. The staff were professional and respectful. They paid extra attention to our 18 month old. There is a driver they can organise for you as it is a bit far to walk into town. As we were checking out Wayan gave my wife a lovely present. Would have stayed longer if we could!

Nous avons passé des vacances incroyables à la villa Shalimar : la villa est spacieuse, moderne, propre, bien équipée, bien située, la mer est accessible directement de la villa via un escalier et une petite porte fermée à clés. Mais surtout le personnel est aux petits soins, discrets, prévenants : ils aiment leur métier. Wayan est d’une très grande efficacité : Nous sommes restés 10 jours pendant lesquels on nous a organisé des visites culturelles, des sorties en mer (snorkeling et pêche), les repas sont délicieux. Nous avions un benchmark pour les hôtels (le mandarin oriental Marrakech), nous avons la villa Shalimar pour les villas !

Villa Shalimar is the best accommodation I've ever stayed at. The location right on the beach gives amazing views. The grounds are so beautiful to relax in. The pool was the perfect temperature and the water so clear and clean. Amed is a gorgeous town and I would love to come back and stay here again.
This villa was the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. It’s absolutely stunning but what really makes it special, is the staff. Pagi and everyone that cares for the home were the warmest and friendliest people, and made our trip even more memorable. They arranged a snorkeling trip, a wonderful cooking class and other special excursions. We enjoyed just spending time at the villa with its beautiful pool and atmosphere. I loved the place! It was very nice and relaxing. I stayed on the top floor because I kept stepping on millipedes. The come out in the morning so just be mindful of them. The food was delicious. The view was beautiful. The property is right next to the water and you can hear the waves when you are falling asleep. 5 Stars!

Consider this more like your own private resort vs. a typical Airbnb. Wayan and team made sure all of our needs were met and exceeded including breakfast (included), dinners, room cleaning (included), recommendations, transportation and more. Staying in Amed outside of the more crowded tourist areas was also a perfect way to experience Bali. We can only hope to experience this level of beauty and gracious hospitality on future trips!
This was the best villa we stayed at by far. From the check-in to the check-out everything was perfect! Wayan made sure we had everything we needed/wanted, the staff at the property was extremely friendly/helpful and the breakfast they prepared was delicious. The villa itself was clean, even better then shown on the images and the location is magical (clean beach, nice bars/restaurants with seaview, etc.). Villa Shalimar was a Heaven on Earth. From our arrival on the whole stuff was amazing. The breakfast was incredible and huge. Filling for the whole day. My wife got sick so we needed some special things and they got everything very fast. The location right at the beach is great, also the pool. All 7 of us enjoyed our 5 nights very very much. Wayan and her team greeted us when we arrived. They whisked our luggage to our rooms and then met us in the our door dining area to go over the house and provided us with fruit and smoothies. The house is beautiful and the photos are very accurate. We did not want to leave! Make sure you get some massages while you are there. The ladies come to the house and do an amazing job! We will recommend this place to all our friends!
Very beautiful house that looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was spotless and the pool was huge. They even had pool toys for the kids. The service provided by Wayan and her team was outstanding. Wayan was always ready to help us with requests for dinner, driver, massage, snorkeling equipment, etc. Wayan also cooked us dinner all night and the food was so good and the prices very fair. There was a printed menu for both breakfast and dinner but Wayan let us mix and adjust the food to our liking and all our requests were met. The breakfast is excellent. We tried snorkeling right in front of the villa but didn't see much - maybe because it was rainy season. But both Jemeluk Beach (10 minutes away by car) with its black sand and Lipah Beach (15 minutes away by car) with white sand offered excellent snorkeling, even better than the Gili islands. It is really easy to snorkel here also for kids. If you wanna go out for lunch, the Rimba Café in Amed is really nice!

Без машины проблемно выбраться для просмотра достопримечательностей из Амеда, но это проблема не виллы, а месторасположения! Персонал очень приветливый и дружелюбный во всем! Помогают и с рыбалкой и с арендой машины и с любыми вопросами! Очень довольны проживанием и гостеприимством хозяев! Рекомендую!

This was by far the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. The home was superb and luxurious but Wayan and her staff were the secret to making this the best. From the floral greeting to the farewell gift package, they knocked themselves out catering to all our needs and wants. We had dinner there the first night and never ate anywhere else. It was consistent gourmet cooking with a well stocked fridge of beer and wine on request to complement every meal. With dolphins swimming offshore and great snorkelling nearby, it was a place of great experiences. Don’t go here looking for wild nightlife, but if you want to be pampered and enjoy complete relaxation, it’s well worth the long drive from the airport. Paradise found for us. Highly highly recommended.
Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum, was auf den Fotos garnicht zu vermitteln ist. Wir waren zu viert (zwei Pärchen) für sechs Nächte dort und haben jede Minute genossen. Ein sensationeller Ort zum entspannen und um mit dem Roller den Nordosten der Insel zu erkunden. Wayan hat sich um alles gekümmert (wie Roller, Transport, Abendessen etc), eine kurze Nachricht hat genügt. Der Garten ist vom Strand nicht einsehbar und auch ansonsten ist ein hohes Maß an Privatsphäre geboten. Innerhalb von 10 Gehminuten sind zahlreiche Restaurants und Warungs zu erreichen. Ich war mittlerweile das dritte mal auf Bali und habe verschiedene Airbnbs gesehen, aber dieses hier ist schon Spitzenklasse. Wenn man abseits des Trubels vom Kuta und Seminyak etwas Entspannung und einen Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen sucht, dem sei diese Unterkunft ans Herz gelegt.
My family had a wonderful week here, with everything needed on-site in a spectacular setting. It was really a family get together so not much exploring of the Amed area. Wayan and her staff couldn’t do enough for us, including cooking a meal one night and shopping for us to barbecue another. There were places locally that would deliver food at anytime, so we only ate out a couple of times. My Grandson had to see a doctor, so Wayan organised the appointment and a driver to take to the local clinic. It was our best stay by far of our holiday; not cheap but worth every penny!
A magnificent villa in a spectacular location. The villa looks exactly like it does in the photos (it’s hard to imagine this when you’re scrolling thru, but it honestly does), and it feels amazing to be there. Looking east from the upstairs outside mezzanine area, you see ocean on one side (where the sun rises) and mountains on the other. It’s breathtaking.

Wayan was very warm and welcoming from weeks before we even arrived in Amed. Her and her wonderful staff waited until after dark for us to arrive to give us a tour of the villa and welcomed us with a refreshing drink and fruits. Every night they took our breakfast orders and always had breakfast ready on time every morning. Anything we needed from medical supplies, to groceries, Wayan and her staff made sure to get it for us without any hesitation. We had our own driver who worked for the villa (shout out to Augus) who picked us up and took us to all of our excursions. They even decorated the villa for my birthday! The pictures could not capture the beauty that was this home. Every room had its own bathroom and the private home was free to explore and access for early morning swims or watching the sun set. Definitely would 10/10 recommend! Thank you so much Wayan for an amazing experience. We will be seeing you again in the future.
I booked this Villa on the same day and arrived late and the staff was amazing. It has been the best decision ever and the best Villa that I have traveled to. An amazing place in a quiet location with bars and restaurants close by and Amed a 25 minute walk along the beach. The place was even better than the photos! Wayan and her team were superb throughout and kept the place spotless. The only concern I had before going was the privacy from the beach, but with the villa being elevated it gives total privacy. If you are thinking of booking, just do it. If it goes before you book then dont go looking for it as you will be gutted you missed out. It has everything, the wow factor of the place, a superb location, all equipment for the beach (canoe, paddle board & snorkeling gear), great staff and stunning views from all angles (including a fantastic view of Mount Ayung whilst on one of the loos). Thank you so much to Wayan and the team for making our stay magical.

Wir, eine Familie mit Sohn, genossen 9 Nächte in diesem Paradies. Unser Sohn feierte hier seinen 18. Geburtstag mit einem speziellen Frühstück. Das Meer direkt vor der Tür wirkte anfangs laut, doch bald meditativ. Fazit: hervorragende Betreuung, tolles Haus, traumhafte Lage, wo Bali noch authentisch ist. Sehr empfehlenswert!

This place is absolutely positively amazing. I stayed in this villa for 5-6 days and honestly never wanted to leave. Wayan and her team went above and beyond to make sure my husband and i were comfortable here. I was able to contact Wayan ahead of my arrival for all of my special requests and she accommodated them all. I had the pool decorated with flowers one day and it was a magical experience. Get the massages. I did two and regretted not having it done everyday. Highly recommend. The driver was available anytime we needed it. This villa is huge. Each bedroom comes with a beautiful bathroom. Everything was clean and well organized. I arrived at almost 2am, Wayan and her team were there to greet me. They gave us fruit and fresh watermelon juice on arrival. The fridge was stocked and filled with all the beverages we asked for and a number of items we didn't even know we needed. Complimentary bkft. Fyi, lots of mosquitoes, bring OFF. Thanks again Wayan. You are an amazing host.
Incredible hospitality at a gorgeously crafted Balinese home. Wayan arranged snorkeling, transport, massage, laundry, anything we needed. The team was so helpful and kept the home and poolside clean and beautiful. Breakfast was also delicious. The trip from Denpasar was an adventure, but worth it to be far from the crowds in what felt like our own private resort. We spent our days in the pool, napping in the cabana, and enjoying the sea. And oh the sunrises and sunsets! Just bring some bug spray for the evening mosquitos. Such a lovely holiday!
Villa Shalimar is absolutely wonderful! The views are amazing and it is well worth the price. Very quiet and within walking distance or a short taxi ride to restaurants.
I can’t say enough good things about this place, and about the staff here. I actually had this place all to myself and i felt like a complete queen. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The place is so gorgeous, the views are incredible, the staff is so responsive and sweet. I took the kayak out on the sea, and rode one of the bikes through the neighborhood. So fun! There is a friendly cat that comes around so beware for those with allergies. Out of the 5 places i stayed in Bali, this was my favorite. I will definitely be returning with friends! Thank you Wayan for everything!
Our stay at Wayan’s place was amazing! The staff was very accommodating, and helped us book a van to/from the Airbnb, which was very helpful since we had 6 people. The staff was available for all our questions, and kept the place extremely clean. Breakfast was complimentary, and it was more than restaurant quality! While in Amed we went fishing, and the staff cooked us lunch and dinner from the fish we provided! The views were amazing, and we are definitely planning on staying again in the future
Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour, Merci à Wayan et à toute son équipe pour leur superbe accueil. Ils nous on cuisinés d’excellent repas et petit déjeuner. Wayan nous a super bien aidés pour l’organisation de la plongée et elle était également toujours là pour nous aider avec nos transports etc… La villa est comme sur les photos même mieux! Tout est très propre et très bien entretenu et vous avez la plage collée à la villa. Je recommande cette incroyable villa Et merci à toute l’équipe du personnel 🙏🏽

This stay was a blessing! The crew welcomed us upon arrival and looked ahead to make us dinner for our late arrival. She communicated VERY WELL about everything!! It’s a great place for rest & relaxation!!!!! Having them make our breakfast & dinners was such a great experience !! Didn’t care too much for the insects like gecko’s, spiders, and mosquitoes but that’s island life I guess. I would 100% recommend others to stay here as well.
Casi no soy de dar grandes descripciones en los airbnb en los que me he quedado, pero este en especial vale 100000% la pena y creo que lo merece… la casa está increíble, de lujo, muy cuidada, la alberca siempre en temperatura perfecta (se puede ocupar todo el día) vale la pena ocuparla, la vista de la alberca es hermosa da al mar y a la playa de arena negra, el desayuno diario que incluía estaba muy rico y completo, la atención de Wayan y todo el personal fue de lujo, increíble, súper amables y muy atentos, Wayan nos armó nuestro itinerario con los mejores lugares para visitar, nos armó y programo TODO, hasta la cena, Agus fue el encargado de llevarnos a los lugares que visitamos siempre muuy amable y agradable con nosotros, la villa tiene 3 cuartos con 1 cama grande cada una (los 3 con una vista hermosa) vale la pena cada momento que vivimos en Bali! Si vas a Bali te súper mega recomiendo este airbnb, te hará un viaje inolvidable. Gracias por todo, regresare!
A perfect place to go off-grid and enjoy the fresh air, pool and ocean. It was so nice to fall asleep to the sound of waves and wake with a perfect view of the sunrise from bed. The house is exactly as described and photographed. The staff was very attentive, and having such a grand breakfast was an unexpected plus!
Wayan and her team were excellent hosts! My friends and I spent four unforgettable nights in this beautiful villa. It was exactly as it looked in the pictures and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Would recommend the restaurant La Bottega at the top of the street, and taking the SUP board and kayak out to the bamboo platform. Also, the massage therapists who come to the villa are excellent. I only hope I'll be able to come back some day 🧡🧡🧡🧡
What a wonderful stay. There was nothing lacking. Absolute beachfront with the most amazing sunrises and sunsets. The house was stocked with everything, from kayak,to surfboard, snorkeling gear and a well stocked kitchen with snacks and beverages.The breakfast spread was way more than elsewhere. Wayan and the villa staff were absolutely fantastic. Super efficient and such outstanding service, with a smile. Thank you Wayan for looking after us so well.You and the villa staff are awesome! We will definitely be back.
I can not say enough positive things about the home, Wayan and her staff. The home was immaculate. What makes the stay so perfect is the amount of service you receive from Wayan and her staff Pika, Very and Gek. Spectacular meals cooked right in the home. Wayan is very responsive to your every need. She booked tours, secured a driver (Agus, also wonderful!) and specially prepared meals. The entire staff kept the place spotless. I could go on and on. They deserve more than 5 stars!!!!!
What an amazing and peaceful place to stay! We immediately felt right at home thanks to Wayan and her team’s friendliness and hospitality. The team was very accommodating of all our wishes, paying special attention to the details. Breakfast was great, as were all other meals we requested. The property itself is located right by the beach, allowing for beautiful views, especially during the sunrise and sunsets. If you’re looking for a quiete get-away in Bali, we highly recommend Wayan’s place!

Wayan and her team were simply amazing. So warm, welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much for them and everything was done with a smile. The villa is probably the best in Amed and is the last house on the beach so it’s very private. The villa is beautiful and right on the beach with memorable sunrises, with the volcano behind you for the sunsets. A truly memorable place and people that felt like a unique and special experience. We have been to Bali many times over the past 20 years, but this was our first time staying in Amed. I think anyone staying in Amed should know what they are getting. It is not the insanity of Kuta/Seminyak/Canggu, it is a time-warp. There is no traffic, there are no tour buses, just relaxing beach-bum living. Wayan’s house is exactly like the photos. It is on a large (by Amed standards) stretch of black sand beach near a local beach access point. That means you will see locals enjoying their beach, which we thought was great. We took a fishing trip and the boat captain picked us up and dropped us of directly at the house. We were lucky enough to catch a large mahi and Wayan’s team prepared it for lunch. Wayan organized massages everyday at the house and they were some of the best traditional massages we had on our trip, and they were easily the cheapest. Breakfast everyday was plentiful. La Bottega at the resort minutes away was some of the best pizza we had in Bali.
Nothing short of incredible - the villa, the staff, the value. Wayan and her staff went above and beyond! We loved every second!
We had a great week at this amazing villa even though the weather was wet and cloudy. The villa is beautiful and very well equipped, but what really made the stay for us was Wayan and her team - they were so incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them, from making dinner to recommending places to visit and organising transport. They even gave us lifts into Amed on their mopeds when we went for a massage - loved it ! There was a wide range of delicious breakfast options at the villa, catering for every taste (served at a time to suit you.) Dinner was great as well, although there were also plenty of local places to eat, including La Botega at the end of the track leading to the villa. Amed Beach, with plenty of local shops and restaurants was about a 15 minute walk away - we loved the rooftop sunset bar! We absolutely recommend staying here, especially if you want luxury accommodation off the beaten track, and away from the busier tourist areas.
Wayan is an excellent host. She is able to deal with our special food request and goes the extra mile for customer service. Highly recommended.
We celebrated new years at Villa Shalimar and it was a brilliant experience. The highlight of the property was its exceptional host, Wayan, along with her highly trained team. They went above and beyond in their service. Right from the check-in, we knew this was a great decision as it was one of the warmest welcomes you could receive. Wayan & team displayed genuine excitement in hosting us. The villa is new & equipped with all amenities you could need. Rooms & washrooms were spacious, clean and very well maintained. The infinity pool was super, it’s great for relaxing to get laps done too. The villa was beautiful & extremely peaceful. There were moments in our stay where we felt there was no one else in the world besides us. When it came to food and beverages, the villa is self sustaining. We did not need to eat from outside. The team prepared faultless meals for us, catering to all requests with extreme care and precision. We loved our stay and will be back for sure!
Wayan and her staff were absolutely amazing! We were made to feel extremely welcome and she could not do enough for us, going above and beyond at all times. An absolute credit to the owner who should be very grateful to have such a warm and inviting team. The villa itself is beautiful. Spacious and quiet and by far the best on the beach. The food was perfect, with a great breakfast every morning and dinner each night was prepared on time, was delicious, and priced extremely well. Can not fault the stay. Bugs, yes but that is everywhere in Bali. Just leave the lights off at night and you'll be fine! A perfect week in a relaxing location with attentive and smiling staff.
Incredible villa right on the beach. Fabulous accomodation and wonderful host. Highly recommend to anybody wanting a nice quiet visit to Amed with very good diving and snorkelling nearby. Great breakfast as well. 👍

This place is jaw dropping. All the amenities you can ask for & then some! Kayak, bicycles, peddle board, board games and pickle ball are all here for you to use. The villa itself has a full time staff that will accommodate all your needs. There is direct access to Amed's black sand beach and you're only a bike ride away from the stores in the area. The view of Mt. Agung volcano is absolutely incredible from the 2nd floor. During our stay we had a little hiccup and Wayan was legit there within one minute. The complimentary breakfast is better than almost all restaurants around. We will be back ♥️
A beautiful villa. Everything is wonderful, Wayan and the team, they are very friendly, the villa, the beach. Except lots of bugs and insects, just need to prepare the insect repellent. Kids enjoyed a lot the big pool. Thank you for everything.
Wayan and her team made our stay unforgettable. A warm welcome upon arrival, the villa was amazing and the service impeccable. Upon request wayan made sure we had our own bartender in the villa, massage therapists and chef. I recommend everyone to stay here, even if you are not passing by the detour is worth it. I don't even know where to begin Words cannot describe the amazing villa with the views. Before I even arrived I was in communication with Wayan. She answered all my concerns and gave great recommendations. When we arrived her and the staff were waiting for us to bring in our bags and give us a welcome drink. After our long flight she had dinner waiting for us as requested. Wayan is an amazing and kind person who was on call 24/7 . She arranged all our excursions for us. Every day we did an excursion. Agus our driver drove us everywhere. He made sure he was right by outside. Making sure we had no issues. Even though there were alot of crazy drivers & some roads were narrow we always felt safe and secure .Wayan the staff treated us like royalty . We were celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday and she decorated the villa, even brought her a gift. Wayan is a professional & makes all of your desires come true. The service we received from Wayan & staff went far above our expectation
What a beautiful villa! My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and were met with amazing service by the villa staff. They truly made this stay wonderful. For instance, one of the bicycles broke down and the next day the staff had a brand new bike ready for us. Thank you Wayan! Amed is an interesting little town and this villa definitely stands out as the most beautiful of all the beachfront options.

Einen besonderes Lob hat Wayan und Ihr Team verdient: Sie führen die Villa wie ein***** Boutique-Hotel inklusive Top Frühstück, eigener Essenskarte für In-Villa-Dining (umbedingt ausprobieren, ganz lecker) und lesen einem die Wünsche von den Lippen ab. Organisiert wird alles was möglich ist und Wayan steht einem jederzeit persönlich oder telefonisch zur Verfügung. Wir haben jeden Tag unserer Woche in der Villa genossen und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
I don’t even know where to begin. Wayan is an amazing host and the staff are also JUST as great. My boyfriend and i have no complaints whatsoever. We had excursions that began at 7am, 6am and the staff was up and had breakfast prepared before our day, followed by lunch & dinner when we got back. The food is great everyday. I got daily massages and they were the best I’ve ever got in my life! Lol. They do everything with love. My boyfriend was able to get the pool decorated filled with roses which was sooooo beautiful and every room was decorated very romantically. They really exceeded all expectations The property itself is stunning! I usually don’t wake up early but i woke up at sunrise daily for my 5 days because the view from the villa is to die forrrr. Like i didn’t want to miss it for one day. If you sleep with the blinds open upstairs the view you wake up to. Wow! I came during the time of full moon so there were many ceremonies going on on the beach & on the roads. Amazing to see and experience the culture. I got the chance to be a part of it thanks to Wayan. I was able to visit the temple, and learn a few things about the Hindu culture. Very grateful for the experiences i had at this villa. I wish it wasn’t a 28 hot flight so I can visit them all the time! 🤍
Wow, wow, wow. This place was incredible and surpassed all expectations! BOOK THIS PLACE, you will love every second. The villa itself is stunning, beautifully laid out and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, right on a sandy beach with crystal clear water, and with an incredible view of Mt Agung. Above all, it was Wayan and the team who made our stay so special. They were so lovely and kind, with the biggest smiles and always happy to help. The daily breakfast is incredible, they also cooked loads of delicious meals for us in the villa (freshly caught mahi mahi, beautiful Indonesian food and much more). The food they made us in the villa was the best we ate in Indonesia. Nothing was too much trouble - Wayan organized an awesome snorkeling trip for us, massages at the villa and a steady supply of whatever we needed! If you’re after a relaxing holiday in paradise, this place is it.

Ms Wayan and her staff are AMAZING! They’re the nicest, most beautiful souls you’ll ever meet. The villa was everything we wanted and more! The rooms are open with a stunning view of the volcano from every bathroom. Your own, private infinity pool, overlooking the ocean is breathtaking. Wake up to a delicious breakfast (western or Balinese) then head over to the cabana to watch the divers and fishermen. Once your food settles, take a dip in the perfectly temperature infinity pool or relax on the tanning step. Amed, about 10 min drive, is full of great shopping and a beautiful cultural experience (pure Bali was my favorite shop). Head to waterfalls, jungle swings, rice fields, temples and koi gardens with the AMAZING driver, Agus. If you’re more on the wild side, like my boyfriend and I, go get a tattoo at Dillon Tattoo! They did amazing work. All in all, I would not only recommend staying here, I’ll tell you that we intend to return in a few months! -Kolby & Stephen
We spent 3 nights at the villa and had a wonderful times. the views are just amazing, not only the oceans, but from the second floor , the view of Mount Agung is just amazing. Staff is very attentive and fast to respond. Thanks to Wayan and everyone else for a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay there again!
Incredible experience. The host Wayan and the staff are so attentive and willing to help with anything you can possibly think of. Wayan organized for masseuses to come to the villa on an hour’s notice, and for a fishing boat to pick us up on the beach directly in front of the villa. The property is absolutely beautiful and only a 5 minute walk to Amed center / restaurants if you walk on the beach. The area also feels very safe. The included breakfast every morning was delicious too. Lastly, i don’t think the listing really emphasizes the views of my Agung but you have a perfect view of the mountain from the entire upstairs. I would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone considering staying in Amed.
This villa is just over-the-top amazing. The photos don't even do it justice, if you can believe it. The condition and cleanliness is perfect. And the location is ideal- it's close to town but still very quiet. Wayan provides service that really goes above and beyond. From the moment we booked and well after we checked out she had great communication and made sure our time in Amed was as good as possible. Overall this is one of the best experiences I've had on AirBnB and I cannot recommend staying here enough.
