The virtual preview of Villa Sunda Kelapa , spacious 4 dbl bedroom Villa was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Gianyar plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Villa Sunda Kelapa , spacious 4 dbl bedroom Villa painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

This place is a hidden gem. The photos do not do it justice, its absolutley beautiful. Our flight was 34 hours and it was just what we needed to reset our bodies. The cooking was great the hospitality was top tier! They acually went above and beyond. I felt so peacful and just free. Desak even did our laundry so we would not have to travel with dirty garments. Highly recommend I wish I could give it more stars we will definitely book again when we return to Bali!!! If you visit dont forget to sign the guest book!!!

We spent 2 weeks at this hidden gem. Can’t recommend it enough. The place exceeded our expectations. The biggest stand out was Desak, the host. She was so friendly and is honestly a 5 star chef. We loved every single meal she made us. Even my 2 kids couldn’t get enough of all her meals. If you are looking for a place to relax, unwind & just get away from the hustle & bustle then this is the place for you.

Magnifique séjour ! Nous avons tout adoré, le cadre verdoyant, la gentillesse de Desak et sa cuisine divine qui nous a régalé. Très belle entrée en matière pour découvrir Bali loin du tumulte. Nous nous sommes senties comme à la maison. Merci à Desak et merci également à Ngurah, chauffeur amical qui nous a parlé des traditions balinaises.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. This place is truly outstanding. We had so much fun from start to finish. Desak took great care of us & cooked for us. The reviews are right—her food is fantastic. The location is perfect. Everything is easy to reach by car or scooter. Very convenient. We especially loved the pool and the incredible view from the living room. It never got old. This is a place that really leaves nothing to be desired. We would definitely come back anytime.

Wij waren hier met 6 personen en hebben een geweldige tijd gehad. De tuin en het zwembad liggen er prachtig bij. Het is rustig en stil, precies waar we op zoek naar waren. Desak verzorgde iedere avond voor het eten tegen een vergoeding en op ons verzoek vaak lokale gerechten. Het ontbijt en het diner waren heerlijk. Desak heeft ook goede tips voor massage, chauffeur en staat open voor alle vragen. Dat maakt het verblijf aangenaam en vooral relaxed om hier te verblijven. Een aanrader om hier te komen!

Beautiful place! So peaceful and relaxing.

Just a very elegantly designed house in the vernacular style. Endless nice touches in all directions. And the pool is one of the most generous we have come across. We didn't have to share it because the other house was vacant, which was nice. The staff were extremely helpful, and had meal ready for us when we arrived in the evening. The only thing that the ad doesn't explain is that, unlike in a hotel, the staff come to clean in the morning and they are right in your living space. If you leave early each day to explore the island this would not be an issue, but if you want to hang out in the house in the mornings be prepared that you will have discreet company. Highly recommended.

Эти была прекрасная вилла, мы почувствовали уединение с природой. Рум сервис тоже на высоте, еда очень вкусная, после первого раза выбирали покушать на вилле нежели в ресторанах В целом впечатления очень приятные и вообще весь комплекс вилл похож на райский уголок

We had a wonderful stay at Villla Sunda Kelapa. The main stand outs were Desa, the cook and venue manager who looks after you extremely well as well as the huge swimming pool in the beautifl garden. Desa is a wonderful cook, preparing amazing Indonesian meals and catering for all palates and all chillii tolerance but she also ensures you have a brilliant stay by facilitating all your requests and providing advice on activities! Highly recommend

Wir, 4 Erwachsene und zwei Kinder, hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Villa Sunda Kelapa. Genau genommen, übertraf sie unsere Erwartungen sogar. Villa, Anlage, Ruhe, Lage einfach grossartig. Dazu dann Desa. Sie ist der Engel des Hauses und eine Zauberin in der Küche - paradiesisch. Wir empfehlen anderen Gästen, in der näheren Umgebung gar nicht erst nach anderen Restaurants zu suchen, auch jene mit 5 Sternen nicht. Es gibt nichts besseres. Geniesst Desas Speisen! Kurz und gut - wir kommen wieder und freuen uns schon jetzt auf einen herrlichen Aufenthalt. Danke!

Nous avons été très bien acceuillis dans une superbe demeure. Le jardin et tous les allentours ressemblaient bien à la description et c'était même mieux. Desak a accédé à toutes nos demandes surtout pour le repas du soir et le petit déjeuner avec une très grande gentillesse. Rien à redire..

C’est une très belle maison de type balinais avec un magnifique jardin très bien entretenu et d’une superbe piscine. Le bord de mer est à 15 min à pied. La maison est ressourçante et très paisible. La literie est parfaite. Le service est de haute qualité ainsi que les repas cuisinés par le personnel de maison, un vrai délice et très peu onéreux. Vraiment pas la peine d’aller manger ailleurs. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

We loved this accommodation! of all the places we stayed in Bali, this was the best. The villa is huge with an open living area that overlooks a thick jungle and river. The gardens surrounding the villa are gorgeous. There were several villas but we didn't see a soul and it felt deserted. It's in a weird location, nothing much around or within walking distance, but we just got a nice driver to take us on day trips. Desa was an amazing host and made us delicious Indonesian cuisine. Truly an exceptional stay.

The place feels like a palace in a very beautiful surroundings. We are extremely impressed with the staff. Desak was extremely hardworking. She cooked for us, did our laundry including pressing. I never experienced such a great service just for such a little money. I highly recommend.

Fantastic views from the balcony. A steady stream which hugs this property makes for a fantastic workplace given how strong the WiFi is. Great pool and our dinner in our last night was fantastic.

Our family of four (kids age 4 and 7) had an absolute amazing week at this wonderful place. It’s bigger and better than the pictures show. The house is so charming and well decorated. The view to the lake and “jungle” is beautiful with a famly of kingfishers in the nearby trees. The pool area is so beautiful and large that you want to live here forever. And finally, the service and kindness of the wonderful maid with amazing local cooking skills makes you feel home. We highly recommend this incredible place and plan to be back one day!

Het complex met prachtige huizen in koloniale stijl, ligt verscholen in een oase van groen en rust. Het is heerlijk! Desa is fantastisch, lief en zorgzaam. Ze tovert de lekkerste Balinese gerechten op tafel, smullen gegarandeerd. Het zwembad is perfect en die heb je nagenoeg voor jezelf. Ook onze twee kleine kinderen (5 en 4 jaar) hebben hier heel erg genoten. We komen graag terug!

The villa was breathtaking and set in a serene environment! It was even better than the photos!! Weyan was a very helpful host who arranged a weekly driver as well as cooked meals. Eric the driver was so knowledgeable and taught us so much about Balinese culture. Desa our house cleaner and chef was so charming and friendly. We loved it so much they we can't wait to go back!!

Wat een fantastische en bijzondere plek. Het huis is open en het gevoel van ruimte en schoonheid is bijna niet op foto’s vast te leggen. Een huis met geschiedenis, al 25 jaar staat dit gebouw langs de rivier de Melangit. De rust, de natuur om het huis, de geluiden van vogels, kikkers en krekels is fenomenaal. Het zwembad is groot en er is genoeg ruimte eromheen om heerlijk onder je eigen parasol te gaan liggen. Overigens was ik alleen te gast en heb verder geen anderen gasten gezien. Het personeel is ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. Er wordt iedere dag schoongemaakt en op verzoek overheerlijk gekookt met verse producten van de lokale markt . De bedden liggen lekker en alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Hier ga ik zeker nog terugkomen bij mijn volgende bezoek aan Bali. Villa Sunda Kelapa is het paradijs op aarde !

What also stood out was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff—Wayan did a great job to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable, she is very responsive and always there to help! Desak made every meal fresh and delicious, showcasing authentic Indonesian cuisine and made the house look shining every day. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with luxury and comfort, this villa is an unbeatable choice. We can’t wait to return!

Vi havde 8 fantastiske dage! Manager (Wayan) var meget behjælpelig, Maide (Basak) var intet mindre end fantastisk. Hun kunne hjælpe med alt og var et stort smil. Vi rejste med en lille baby på 7 måneder og her gjorde de alt for, at det fungerede med ham. Omgivelserne er meget flotte og poolen stor. Dog skal man regne med at have scooter for at komme rundt omkring og opleve ting. Vi anbefaler klart stedet til afslapning og fantastisk service! Tak!

Nog nooit hebben we zo'n geweldige plek gevonden om te verblijven. Het ligt aan een rivier met daarachter de wildernis. De tuinen rondom het huis zijn magisch. Het huis/villa is zeer open aan de achterzijde. In de open hal, die zo uit een tempel komt, liggen de 4 mooie slaapkamers ze hebben allen een eigen badkamer. Indien gewenst kan de kok alle maaltijden verzorgen. niets is hen teveel om iets voor je te regelen. Het gebied in Zuidoost-Bali is geweldig en de stranden in de buurt zijn veel minder toeristisch. ongelooflijk alles hier!
