Exploring Wahem Luanan- Eco bamboo home , River View left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Wahem Luanan- Eco bamboo home , River View was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Ubud plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Wahem Luanan- Eco bamboo home , River View painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

I’ve been using Airbnb for a long time, but I can say this is the worst experience ever. The location is farther than expected. It’s 8 km away from Ubud Palace, and it takes around 20-30 minutes. But it’s peaceful and quiet. Also, a rat was spotted twice in the room!! And we were pretty sure it was a rat, not a squirrel. We told the staff but there is no spray for rats. So when we saw it the second time, we decided to move out directly. We hoped to get some refund cause we only stayed there for half an hour. But the staff there rejected. They said they did cleaning deeply and they already apologized. They mentioned BIODIVERSITY in the room descriptions which I should read before booking. Also, they doubted the truth of a rat there. To be honest, I didn’t expect they would deal with this in such a bad attitude. All these words sound like disguises of shirking responsibility. I know this is uncontrollable thing but what is the solution for this? And what’s the compensation for us?

開放感あふれる空間で生活でき、貴重な体験ができました。 虫は思った以上にいるので、できれば2回で寝ることをおすすめします。(虫除けは用意してもらえます！)一方で虫と一緒に共存して寝る機会は、ここでしか得られないでしょう！ベットから寝転んだ天井の先にやもりが2匹いたのは、スリリングでした！

Eine einzigartige Unterkunft mitten in der Natur! Das Baumhaus auf Bali war sauber, gemütlich und genau das Richtige für Naturliebhaber. Der Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich und hat uns das Gefühl gegeben, herzlich willkommen zu sein. Man ist umgeben von Bäumen, hört die Vögel und spürt die Natur hautnah. Ein kleiner Punkt, der vielleicht erwähnt werden sollte: Da auf Bali oft Müll verbrannt wird, kann man gelegentlich einen leichten Geruch wahrnehmen, da das Baumhaus offen gestaltet ist. Aber das gehört zur Authentizität der Umgebung und hat unseren Aufenthalt kaum beeinträchtigt. Insgesamt ein traumhaftes Erlebnis, das wir jedem empfehlen würden!

It’s a nice place. I think it’s more ideal for one couple than two as two couples might find it slightly less private. They can also do a bit better at air cooling situation and rats there. All in all if it’s a winter and temperatures are below 24 it’s perfect to stay

适合两人入住，因为只有一个卫生间。不适合两对情侣入住。没有空调，白天很热，夜晚特别潮湿，多蚊虫。

Nice bambo house like the photos. The staff are amazing and the food was great, but for people who do not like insects and especially lizards this place is not for you.

Zeer goede personeel. Mooi bambo villa. Zeer prettige plaats. Het enigste nadeel is dat personeel en andere mensen die voorbij lopen rechtstreeks in onze tuin kunnen zien tussen de planten en varen. Ook liepen er langs de rivier mensen rond die ook rechstreeks in onze bambo villa en zwembad konden kijken. Wat zeer spijtig was.

We LOVED our stay at the Wahem Treehouse! Beautiful architecture, very private, and so relaxing. The staff was unbelievably nice and always went above and beyond our needs. They gave us activity choices while we were there to book, booked them for us, and arranged everything so we didn't have to do anything. Breakfast was something out of a magazine and amazing every morning! The Batik painting class was such a fun experience, and the massages were amazing.

We had such a wonderful stay! The treehouse experience was truly unique and memorable, and the whole place made our time in Ubud feel even more special. What impressed us most was the amazing hospitality and service from the Wahem Family. One of my friends accidentally left something behind after we checked out, and they proactively contacted us and kindly helped arrange to have it returned. We really appreciated how thoughtful, helpful, and caring they were throughout our stay. A beautiful place with an unforgettable experience and genuinely wonderful hosts. Highly recommended, and definitely a five-star stay!

Excellent service and nice place to stay.

The location is so wonderfully unique. Jungle canopy, close to nature...amazing, clever construction of a polished concrete floor on ground level with the rest of the home entirely in bamboo. Feeling so close to nature while swimming, reading, enjoying breakfast or sleeping. Felt very comfortable with efficient standing fans provided. Our bed was so (!) comfortable, with draping nets, beautiful pillows and luxurious linen. Wifi was excellent. An unexpected bonus was to discover our stay included a complimentary scooter, which we loved and used extensively. The service during our stay was exceptional. Attentive, prompt, considerate and kind. The breakfasts and afternoon tea provided were generous and absolutely delicious. It's so unique and beautiful, so expect an experience to match. Warmest thanks to Dewa, Mangwi, and Angga for taking such good care of us 🫶

Beautiful Jungle Treehouse! So affordable for the luxury and unique quality of this villa. It was my partner and I and another couple and we had the best time. So tranquil and secluded. The private pool was perfect and the attention to detail in all the styling and the overall feel added to the experience. The breakfast every morning was amazing- so fresh and delicious with so much to choose from. We found the communication great and easy to request things or ask about anything. Loved it so much!

Our stay at Wahem Eco Bamboo was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was the perfect place to disconnect from the busy world and reconnect with nature. The setting is peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery, and offers an incredible sense of privacy that made us feel completely relaxed. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed, making our stay even more memorable. Staying in this bamboo house was truly a magical experience. The blend of traditional design and modern touches created a wonderfully aesthetic atmosphere. I had an absolutely wonderful and comfortable stay at Wahem Eco Bamboo. The overall experience was fantastic and relaxing. The staff here are incredibly warm and thoughtful, the service they provided was excellent and attentive throughout my stay. The breakfast selection is super rich and varied, with plenty of delicious options to choose from every morning. Highly recommend this place to everyone! I would love to come back again soon.

Nous avons passé un séjour parfait chez Wahem. Sa maison bambou est juste fantastique …. Un environnement verdoyant, le son de la rivière qui coule , les bruits de la forêt tout en ayant une magnifique construction où chaque détail a été pensé. Que dire du superbe petit déjeuné, délicieux pour les yeux et pour les papilles amenés par les deux charmants jeunes hommes qui nous ont accueillis. Un service bien au dessus d’un 5 étoiles. Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique. J’y ai fêté mes 44 ans , l’équipe de Wahen et lui même ont rendu ce jour parfait par leur innombrables attentions…. Juste bravo ! Although this is an Airbnb, the staff make you feel like you’re in a 5-star hotel because they were so friendly, attentive and helpful. The property itself is beautiful and is perfect for anyone looking for a unique, relaxing stay “off the grid”.

Staff are very nice and helpful. They will make sure you have got everything you need before they finish their work. Although this is not an indoor hotel, the insect numbers are not that bad. Place is very clean and neat. The view and swimming pool are great as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Eco bamboo house. It was exactly as pictured, a beautiful bamboo structure open to nature . As you fall asleep, the river running alongside the property is so relaxing, you really feel the luxury of being both inside and outside at the same time. A real stand-up that I wasn’t expecting was the shower. It’s so beautiful the way it’s built open to the air above and surrounded by gorgeous plants. We found it so helpful that we could order food to the room . We had a nice dinner after we arrived and the following morning the team was very kind and packed us a breakfast that we could take to the airport. It was nice to stay in a neighbourhood and not be in a busy area. The calmness and privacy was so relaxing.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cette jolie cabane, parfait pour pouvoir profiter de la cabane et de ses alentours ! L’immersion dans la jungle était une expérience inoubliable que nous avons réellement apprécié. Concernants les insectes type Moustiques ou autres, les hôtes prennent le soin de désinsectiser tous les soirs et plus si nécessaire à la demande. Les hôtes sont à l’écoute et réactifs concernant les diverses demandes. Nous sommes arrivés en avance et ils nous ont tout de même accueilli avec le sourire (ce n’est pas ce qu’il manque ici à Bali). Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel, la piscine fraîche mais selon moi à température parfaite, livraison Grab et taxis Grab disponibles également. La salle de bain extérieure est un petit + et le filet également. Nous avons également eu le droit à une jolie attention locale le jour de notre départ. Encore merci pour ce séjour exceptionnel, c’était super ! On recommande à 100%.

What an amazing experience this one was! It was a beautiful bamboo house, with a cute little pool overlooking a small gentle stream. With natural surroundings and wild habitats, this place was a divine experience. The bathroom felt a little less private though as it had just some bamboo strings covering that (but that itself is an experience! :D ). And the breakfast spread was unbelievable! We had a huge spread ranging from breads to local balinese snacks, fruits, smoothies and what not! And plus they gave us a scooter, which was added to the package! What more can you ask for! A big big thumbs up to this beautiful place. Would recommend it to all :) Thank you!

Just the perfect stay

确实纯竹子搭建的屋子，没有钢筋水泥的屋子不会对地球磁场造成干扰。因为小时候我们就住在平房，也常常见到壁虎之类的生物，所以对于这里出现的这一切却还有些亲切。床前面有私人泳池及一条河流，我们住的那天没下雨，不戴耳塞就能安然入睡，提供叫醒服务的是珍稀动物，哦对了入住当天我们做了一小时的户外spa，非常舒服而且划算，若你做过其他度假村的户外spa，做过对比你就会知道我说的是什么意思，1）这里的植物全部野生并非度假村栽种的，2）也没有额外的附加费用。

The eco house was absolutely beautiful!!! 100% worth booking and staying in! The house was spotless (was sceptical of bugs etc) but was completely bug free with local mosquito repellant provided, drinks provided and the host offered to collect our restaurant order so we could eat in comfort at the house, AMAZING! Thank you so much Wahem and team for an unforgettable stay!

Thank you for making our stay beautiful, Eka (personal butler) was amazing. He was making sure we have everything even when we had very late checkin. The host and crew were very responsive. Loved the place if you enjoy free living and want to connect close to nature this is the place. So beautiful with the river sound. And morning floating breakfast which we opted for was perfect and yummy. Definitely will come back.

Absolutely stunning villa. Highlight of our trip. Extremely peaceful and quiet. Waking up to the sounds of the forest and roosters crowing was magical. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. We were a bit worried about the bugs since it is fully outside. The mosquitoes were bad around sunset, but once under the mosquito nets provided they weren’t an issue. Other than that the bugs were not bad at all. (Visiting in dry season - end of August) 15/10 would recommend.

The whole team was fantastic from start to finish. Helped arrange transportation, made us comfortable in this very unique and magical place, and helped us enjoy a local restaurant. The place itself was well-cared for and *everything* is made of bamboo. So cool. Customer service is a million out of 10. Highly recommend!

Awesome feeling. The in-house massage, sleeping in the jungle villa within the natural surroundings and morning breakfast in bed was wonderful. Will definitely come again when I come to Bali

숙소가 너무 아름다웠고 생각한 것보다 더 벌레가 없었어요. 그래도 혹시 몰라 모기장을 치고 잤구요. 한 군데도 물리지 않았습니다. 스탭들이 항상 친절하게 안내해주셨고 반응이 매우 빨랐어요! 요청하면 근처 식당에서 저녁도 배달해 가져다 주십니다. 덕분에 저녁과 그 다음날 아침까지 해결했어요! 체크 아웃 후 멀지 않은 곳에 atv 체험도 가능해서 저희는 짐을 맡겨두고 걸어가서 체험하고 왔습니다. 매우 특별한 발리에서의 숙박이었습니다😍 감사합니다

I highly recommend this hotel because it was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff was very kind to us, and the place was spotless. The breakfast was amazing, and we loved spending time in a special area that felt like a jungle. It was so peaceful, with the sounds of birds and crickets singing you to sleep. Wahem is more beautiful than shown in pictures. It is located on a cliff which adds to the beauty of the stay. Amazing aesthetics and everything was made from wood. very unique stay. Infinity pool was a bliss. Saw few lizards and insects but it was manageable. Overall a superb stay.

Location unica e non paragonabile a nessun'altra in cui io abbia mai soggiornato. La sua straordinarietà è proprio l'essere una casa completamente fatta di bambù ma curata nei minimi particolari non solo nelle 2 camere da letto ma anche bagno e cucina.Ovviamente bisogna essere predisposti a dormire in una casa praticamente aperta in mezzo ad una piccola foresta ma l'esperienza è davvero unica!

Little paradise in Bali. Beautifully made bamboo house and furniture with modern bathroom and kitchen equipment. Surrounding is beautiful with jungle and river. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Very nice experience in Bali that I definitely recommend :). Thank you Wahem 🙏

I cannot rave about this place enough. Going to sleep with the sounds of the river and waking up to the sounds of the chickens is as authentic as it comes. Although eco-friendly and open air the place still has a luxury vibe. The little touches of snacks, bathroom amenities and fresh flowers didn’t go unnoticed. The staff were amazing at helping us with anything we needed. They ordered our food from a nearby restaurant and even delivered it to our villa. They scheduled a massage for us, which was one of the most amazing massages ever. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom looks like it was straight out of a magazine. We didn’t have any problems with mosquitoes or critters but knowing we were in open air, we were mentally prepared for them. We opted for the floating breakfast for the full experience and glad we did. Food was delicious but presentation was amazing.

Das war mit Abstand das schönste und aussergewöhnlichste Haus in dem wir auf unserer Asien Reise übernachtet haben. Wir hatten einen super netten Fahrer Agung der super herzlich war. Tolles Personal das sich um jeden unserer Wünsche gekümmert hat. Wir sind als Familie gereist und unsere beiden Kinder wollten dort nicht mehr weg. Das Konzept ist richtig toll. Morgens unter Palmen aufzuwachen und unter Sternen zu schlafen ist so so schön. Passt die kleinen Mitbewohner mit eich leben und die lassen euch in Ruhe. Wir fanden es nicht so schlimm was die Insekten anging. Und freut auch auf das Badeerlebnis. Die 5 Sterne sind absolut verdient

We had the best nature stay at Wahem...the place is just beautiful...too bad we stayed only a night. The breakfast was great too unfortunately we couldn't do a floating breakfast as it was raining but overall the food was awesome. If you are staying here, please don't miss the in house massage, it was by far the best we had in all of Bali. Totally recommend this place for all nature lovers and those who have no issues in living in harmony with everything the nature offers.

Wahem’s place was out of a magazine or a once in a lifetime stay! Everyone was so kind and helpful! We truly had an amazing time and will never forget our stay!

If you are used to spending time in outdoor like camping and like the nature, I can certainly recommend this beautiful bamboo house. The house looks exactly as shown in the photos, and hosts were all lovely and communicative. The pool was lovely, and we enjoyed the breakfast so much. Things to consider before booking is that the house is not in the center of Ubud, so you'd need to get a motorbike or car to get to the center. Another thing is that the house is quite "open" with no door in the bathroom etc. (there are bamboo blinds), so I would recommend to a group of people who are quite comfortable with each other.

Wahem Evo Bamboo house was such a beautiful place to stay in Ubud, you can really experience the beautiful weather and sounds of the jungle here. We stayed as two couples, and we really enjoyed the immaculate vibes here. Even though there was no aircon, we stayed during the rainy seasons which made the temperature very cooling. The pool was clean and perfect to have a dip during the hot weather. We even had a delicious tea time and the breakfast was really amazing. The staff was very helpful and assisted in carrying our luggage’s down the small lane way. Staying here is more of a glamping experience rather than just your typical Airbnb. There was a mini AC unit on the top floor, just wished they had one at the bottom. Mosquitoes aren’t really a problem, only at night but it’s fine as they have a netting over the bed. The open air toilet was a fun experience but not really recommended for two couples staying together as they can see through the bamboo curtains.

Wow it’s such a beautiful and unique place to stay. It’s like an experience that you will never forget. The house is stunning and in a good location. Th service and communication is also wonderful. Will definitely come back in the future

This is a very good bamboo house, beautiful environment, very new facilities, butler service is very good although I know there is no air conditioning here, I still worry about the heat before coming, but it turns out that you do not have to worry about this! It was even cold at night and the only thing you had to pay attention to were the mosquitoes. I think my lover and I had a very rare experience here. Thank you for everything!

Lovely stay in beautiful settings. Staff were very helpful. Had an amazing massage outside which was extremely relaxing and unique. Staff even went to the local restaurant to collect our takeaway for us. Breakfast was beautiful

We are visiting Bali for our honeymoon and Wahem’s place was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The bamboo house is absolutely beautiful and the surroundings are incredible. My husband and I were shocked how pristine everything was. We were worried about bugs and mosquitoes but we really didn’t see any except a friendly geicko. They provided you with bug spray and mosquito nets. The staff was so friendly and made the experience even that much better! Special shout out to Ayu Trishna! She is so kind and even took us around the market before her work day started. We also were able to make some batik at Goak Batik. Beautiful family! Wahem’s place was nothing like I have ever seen before and we will never forget it. Thank you!!!

A great experience for the night, really in the heart of the wildlife. It rained whilst we were there but made it feel even more surreal. Isolated and private area, hosts were responsive to requests and helpful. Excellent stay and worth a nights stay for the experience of a treehouse in the jungle!

We had a really great stay. The staff were so attentive and lovely. The place is absolutely gorgeous! They were also very flexible with check in times as we arrived earlier than planned. Would recommend 100%.

Wahem’s was absolutely incredible!! The photos looked amazing and it was even better than expected when we got there. We didn’t know what to expect with the bugs, but honestly I don’t think I had one mozzie bite and didn’t see any creatures that bothered us. The staff were so helpful, the place was immaculate, the linen smelt so yummy haha!! The small little things they do really makes it, the delicious biscuits, the fruit bowl, the little souvenir upon departure.. I can not recommend and rate this beautiful tree house enough!! Even the location was only a short scooter ride to Ubud central. We will definitely be back!! Thank you so much

This place is a gem! It has surpassed all expectation. The bamboo house itself it a dream, the staff were flexible and extremely accomodating, and breakfast was a colorful display of edible perfection. Highly recommend.

A very special accommodation experience. The environment looks very primitive, but it is amazing that mosquitoes did not affect my sleep all night. The children found it very fresh and interesting. We just watched the stars and drank beer at night.

We could not have loved our stay here more! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. It is just like the photos. The staff is very responsive & available to help. Breakfast was delicious & afternoon tea was great. We loved the privacy & beauty of the place. We also did massages which were amazing & they come right to the house. Could not recommend more

I genuinely can’t rate this place highly enough. The bamboo house is just incredible, and the surroundings are even more incredible. The sounds at night from the nature and the river are just WOW!!!! You feel like you’re sleeping in the treetops of the jungle. The staff and service too have to be mentioned, as they were so attentive, friendly and accommodating. Whatever we needed, they were able to help with. There are many options for places to stay in Bali, but this has to be one of the best in terms of quality and value.

Me and one of my best friends stayed here for 2 days. It was one of the most peaceful places I have ever been in my life. Looked exactly like the pictures and the hosts were amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Even more beautiful than the pictures! If you want a really relaxing and peaceful stay this is perfect, we literally felt like we were in a treehouse in the jungle it was so beautiful! The staff were so attentive and were there for absolutely everything we needed. We really thought the bugs might be too much but the netting and bug detectors let us have amazing sleeps. There are bugs and you are outside more of less so be prepared for that, but it’s apart of the experience and I would definitely stay again. Probably the best sleep I’ve had in a long time! The sound of the jungle was incredibly peaceful to sleep too. We weren’t hot at all either it’s surprisingly very cool! They rented us a fantastic scooter and it was a short trip into town. Breakfast served was fantastic, really gorgeous stay! Would be perfect for a romantic getaway!

This place is exactly like the photos and was perfect for our one night stay. The pool was super relaxing and the space is really picturesque. We had a nice complimentary breakfast with items we chose the previous day, served to the room and staff was very helpful and kind. The distance from central ubud worked for us because it was our last night in Bali (after being in central Ubud for days) so our ride to the airport the next day was much faster cause we were able to avoid that central Ubud traffic. Since it’s an open air space, bug spray is a must and they provided this. Earplugs also helped me sleep through the early morning nature sounds. Something to note is that it gets really hot as the morning progresses and there weren’t enough fans to combat this. For that reason I’m glad we only stayed one night.

Beautiful accommodation for our one night plurge stay in Bali. Private . Staff were super attentive and took care of each and every of our needs. They really went above and beyond. We added the basket pool breakfast just to be extra 😂. Highly recommended. Most beautiful place I have ever stayed at 🥰

We had a massage session while listening to nature. It was a blessing. Uti and Mangwi were so responsive and helpful to our enquires and questions. Couldn’t fault anything. Highly recommended.

Le personnel est adorable, ils sont à l’écoute, réactifs et clairs dans leurs explications. La maison est magnifique, super agréable. Nous avons été étonné d’avoir passé une bonne nuit sans moustique, on a été piqué un peu dans la soirée mais rien pendant la nuit, incroyable. La literie est très confortable, vraiment on n’avait pas envie de partir. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et peut être servi dans la piscine (en supplément). Vraiment c’était parfait, merci à toute l’équipe 🙏

Beautiful hidden gem, with amazing staff to assist with any needs you may have during your holiday. Everything was perfect, from the welcome tea, snacks, even the hand written note on the bed, we definitely will be staying here in the future. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Wow! This place was definitely the best place I’ve ever stayed on earth! So peaceful and quiet, which made it that more relaxing. The home is just stunning! The way it has been perfectly structured, you can really see how much work went into making this place so beautiful. The staff really looked after us and gave us everything and more! They were so kind and went above and beyond for us. They all worked so hard during our stay. Uti had all the answers to our questions and anything we needed, she made sure we got that. Thank you Wahem for everything you did for us during our stay and thank you for having us! We hope to go back one day in the future!!

This bamboo villa is simply amazing. The staff is very kind and responsive, helped me out with everything I needed. The villa has everything you need, and in case something you're missing the staff will make everything they can to help you. The pool is very nice, the location makes it very private and isolated in a good way where you hear only the small river and waterfall and the insects and birds that live around. Very peaceful and calm place. I'd also recommend getting a massage there as the experience is priceless.

Le service est exceptionnel et la nourriture est aussi bien présentée que délicieuse. Toute l’équipe fait un travail formidable et se montre engagée. Ils montrent tous gentillesse, sourire, politesse, respect et une serviabilité très appréciés. Aussi la communication est omniprésente. Un scooter est mis à disposition à l’entrée, ce qui est très pratique. L’accueil est des plus chaleureux et une jolie corbeille de fruits ainsi que des jus frais vous attendent. Un vrai petit havre de paix 😌🥰Certainement une de nos plus belles découvertes lors de notre circuit sur l’île de Bali 💕

Shame that I could only spend a day in this magnificent house. There is absolutely nothing short of except a fan if it could be installed overhead. Nevertheless, the weather was favourable at night. The staffs were super friendly and they looked after us like their own. This is the best value bamboo house for money 👌. 9/10

A fantastic little stay, my partner and I had a wonderful time. You are able to hear your neighbors, so we were pretty quiet the whole time, but really enjoyed the views and sounds of the nature around us. The fact that they supplied mosquito repellent was amazing, as you do get pretty bitten. All in All, a great stay!!

Amazing! We loved it! The bamboo house is gorgeous. The Wahem team was helpful, responsive and welcoming. The food was tasty. The whole experience was wonderful. It was one of our favorite stays in our month long trip in Bali.

This was truly phenomenal out of the ordinary bucket list experience. Stayed here for my bday, it was the best - a magical time! I loved living inside this fairytale villa and they served the best floating breakfast for free ah it was so delicious 🥰 The villa was handcrafted to perfection with such unique, beautiful shapes. Big space with spotless pool, very clean and new, super comfy beds and gorgeous jungle river backdrop, so enjoyable to hear a peaceful nature soundtrack with the water trickling… the energy is so special, happy and peaceful here ✨ your soul n spirit will feel alive to be here - away from the loud noises and crowds - just you and nature! We were treated like royalty - the team was so good to us and we even had a personal butler till 9pm so we never felt worried. The host provides the highest quality of hospitality. The best we have felt after staying over 90 diff hotels over the past few years around the world as constant travelers. We’ll be back! 💛
